I advise people to not ever buy from this company. It's worth it to spend a little more for good customer service and prompt delivery. They told us a delivery date that was not accurate. They've had our money for weeks yet we have no furniture.

We needed an outdoor furniture and got it from Hayneedle. The online ordering experience was fine but I had to call back a couple of times to ask about the delivery, like who is shipping and who's actually driving the truck to deliver it to our house. It wasn't super clear. In hindsight, I could've paid a little less but I don't feel like I was ripped off either. The poor driver that brought our stuff was by himself. It took him forever to get those boxes situated on stage so that he could clean them off the truck. The boxes were huge and it needed two men. I felt so bad for him that day but he was so nice.

I warn you enough to stay away from this company. After a "glitch" in their software charged my account 3 times ($4800 in total), they said they couldn't remove the charges and I had to go to my credit card company to do so. They then promised their "white glove service" as a means of apologizing for the problem. What "white glove" means is that the delivery company shows up, puts the furniture where you want it, unboxes it, and leaves. They don't assemble at all. Essentially, you pay $129 so that they put it in the room you want and haul away the trash. Not worth $129. Do not use this company unless you like hassles and overcharges.

I was walking my dog and saw somebody had an egg chair on their porch and I thought it would be perfect for me. But I wanted white so I did some research. My neighbor helped me with it and we went through several places that sold it and Hayneedle was by far the best deal all the way around. The cost was right within my pocket range and it's the perfect size for me. The chair has a cushion in it and it hangs on a basic cane with nice heavy chains. I've had it about three weeks ago and I love it. It came in good shape, packed well and everything was great. It was a very pleasant experience.

I’ve ordered from Hayneedle just once. It’s a small black computer desk and I have it in my son’s room. It fits great in there. It’s solid and doesn’t look like it’s made out of cheap materials. It was a good price and a good quality product. Delivery was free and it’s pretty quick. My experience was great, no problems at all. Hayneedle is simple and easy to deal with.

My first purchase from Hayneedle.com was in April 2017. We bought some outdoor chairs, and with the exception of the poor finish they were acceptable for the price paid. Then we made a subsequent purchase of 4 Douglas Fir Adirondack chairs. Big Mistake, they are JUNK quality. They split when assembling, they are flimsy, and pitiful. Even though they were only $70 each, they should not be sold at any price. Hayneedle.com makes it pretty difficult to find a place to complain on their site, but after two complaints asking for at least a gift certificate or some sort of credit to mitigate this horrible purchase, they have NEVER responded. Most of their products are cleverly displayed cheap Chinese low-end quality it seems. I would like some sort of consideration. We donated the chairs to Habitat for Humanity just to get rid of them.

I placed an order for a hammock for my husband's first Father's Day. I paid the extra shipping to ensure that it would be here in time. I bought this online as I have a 4 month old and knew that I could not carry it myself along with a baby. It was supposed to arrive today. After I placed the order I immediately found out that the base was backordered. Why wasn't I made aware of this when purchasing? I figured at least I would have the hammock but on the day that I was due to receive it I just got a shipping confirmation with a shipping date of Tuesday... after Father's Day.
I called customer service and although the girl was very caring and apologetic. I still don't feel as though this is has been resolved correctly. My husband is returning from 2 weeks away with the military on Father's Day, I thought he could kick back and relax with the baby. Now I have to run around trying to find something else for him. I am SO disappointed I will Never shop with Hayneedle again.

I was shopping online and doing a search for jewelry boxes and the one from Hayneedle caught my eye. It's exactly what I was looking for. I clicked on it and then I did some research and asked around about Hayneedle. I got a lot of good feedback and that’s how I ended up purchasing a contemporary jewelry armoire from them. The cost was excellent for the quality. It's a really nice product. The color is exactly what it showed online and it suits my needs. I really love the way it is. Hayneedle's whole process was really great and smooth. I would recommend them to anyone.

I paid $150.00 for what could have been a nice way to hide the litter box. The doors are not trimmed properly and the right door has a noticeable opening at the bottom and is hard to open and close. I wrote them a letter and received no response.

I bought two rocking chairs. Ordering online through Hayneedle was easy and I chose them over another retailer for the price. Hayneedle shipped the order really quickly, and everything was fine.

They printed shipping label 2 weeks ago and after multiple phone calls and promises of item being shipped the tracking number is still invalid. And I paid extra for fast shipping. We needed this for a graduation party that was on June 8th, It's now the 14th and still no idea when we will receive it. I'm starting to think they marked it shipped so that they could charge my card which was done on June 2nd. At this rate summer will be over when the patio furniture arrives. I will never buy from Hayneedle again. I should not have to call 10-15 times to find out where the items I paid for are. Deceitful on shipping practices.

I got a Boomer & George log cabin dog house and some stainless bowls from Hayneedle a couple of months ago. The online ordering experience was good and the product has good quality and was cheaper than most of what we've found.

Customer service is nonexistent. Don't believe anything they tell you. I bought an expensive, $1300 offset umbrella Which was delivered May 12, 2016. We used it for the summer, cleaned it and covered it for the winter with the cover included. Loved this umbrella!!! Uncovered it May 10, 2017 and found there is a hole in it. It was supposed to be Sunbrella fabric which I knew from experience is very tough. I called Hayneedle CS and Kermit ** asked me to send pictures and he would be back in touch in a couple of days. I got no response. I sent 4 emai ls to him. No response. Called CS again and talked to Drew who apologized for Kermit not getting back to me and offered to refund my account $150 for the CS neglect. She checked my credit card account and said she was processing it that minute - did not happen. She reviewed the case and said she would call me the following Sunday.
That has been at least 2 weeks ago. She did not call. Received an email from Carolyn ** Customer Care who asked me to send pictures which I did. That was on May 27th. No word from her. Then I found that this is likely not Sunbrella which I ordered but some other fabric. Whichever, there should not be a hole in it in less than a year. It received proper care and was covered all winter. Hayneedle Customer Service/Care has done NOTHING they said they would do and I have a defective umbrella not of the fabric I ordered. Don't expect any follow through once they get you off the phone. I will never purchase anything else from them.

I bought a pergola with a retractable canopy from Hayneedle a few weeks ago. It was my first time dealing with them and ordering was real smooth and everything that I expected. They have a really nice website, and I liked that it is very user-friendly. I felt confident and secure in purchasing something from them and that they would be reliable. I received the product in a timely and the product has a reasonable price. I've been searching for a long time and I thought that was the best and lowest price. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I liked Hayneedle's price for a bench so I purchased it for my garden. Navigating their website was easy. And I'm not techie person, so for me to say it's easy, then it must be super easy. The bench I received was easy to put together. It's well made and looks good on my garden. Also, I ordered an umbrella but the one I received was the wrong color. I shipped it back which was super easy too.

I love my experience with Hayneedle. We ordered a mirror from them and it was cheaper than I expected. So, that was good. It was shipped well and I love the product. I also liked that they send follow-up emails with other products because I like their selection. It was very helpful.

I ordered a Queen-sized headboard. It required some minor assembly. The problem started when we realized one of the holes in one of the legs was drilled in the wrong spot. It was about 1/2 an inch off. I called Hayneedle and spoke with Denis. Denis was very nice, but did not follow through. He was supposed to get back to me, but never did. I called back a week later and was told by a woman that I had to package the whole headboard back up and send it back via FedEx! They refused to even have FedEx come and get it. They told me it was my problem. They tried to blame it on the manufacturer. But when I contacted the manufacturer, they told me that was not their practice. So someone is lying to me. At best, Hayneedle has terrible customer service. At worst, they are also liars. I will never order from them again.

Hayneedle's products are interesting. I've had several follow-up marketing emails and I've enjoyed looking at their stuff. A couple of months ago, I purchased Adirondack chairs from them. It was an excellent experience, though one of the chairs came in broken. I tried to glue it back together but it wouldn't work, so I'm sending it back and I'm going through trying to get a replacement. But the quality is better than I expected and I am very satisfied.

I originally typed in gaming chair through Google and Hayneedle popped up. I watched over some pictures and saw the chair that I liked. It was the nicest looking chair that I've seen so I decided to buy it. Ordering online was smooth and wasn't hard. As for the chair, it has a great quality and it looked nice. It's a very comfortable chair and I take a nap in it. I also love playing the game in it.

Very disappointed with this company. BEFORE I placed my order I contacted customer service to find out how to get the low price guarantee since I had seen the product I was purchasing at a lower price on several websites. The sales representative explained that I should place the order, screenshot the lower price item on the website, and reference my order number. All of which I did.
Upon contacting the company after hearing no response I was told by a sales manager that I needed to do the price match AT THE TIME OF SERVICE and they would not price match because that is the policy! So being misinformed by their own representative cost me the difference of $23 plus tax on a $199 dollar item. What a way to do business when a company will not price match for a few dollars based on their own mistake. Absolutely horrible. I was going to cancel my order but it would result in more of an issue for me and I need the table. Good way to lose customers though. I don't usually write negative reviews but this was just really poor customer service.

I got a hammock and a stand as a Mother's Day gift, and searched around for the size, price, and things that I wanted with it. The ordering was easy and it got here in time for Mother's Day which was great. However, I'm not really impressed with the quality, and I've been thinking about calling back and exchanging it because I've already had a couple of the ropes on it come loose. I expect something to happen over time, but not in the first 30 days I've had it.

Hayneedle was the cheapest, they had excellent customer service and ordering from them was easy and simple. We bought a canopy from them and it came a lot sooner than I thought it would and I was very happy about that. Also, the quality is good. I was very satisfied.

I like the Hayneedle website. It was very clear on the delivery options. We purchased an item and the gentlemen that brought it up from Phoenix were very good and personable. I was a little nervous when they brought it and it bumped. It didn't fall off the dolly and it wasn't their fault. They said not to worry and to call Hayneedle directly when I have an issue after I unwrap it, but there was no damage. The quality of the sides would be a little higher than they are, but in general, we're very happy with the product. We've already been using it. Overall, Hayneedle was a very good experience.

I bought 2 chairs from Hayneedle.com for a total of 400 (with free shipping) and the website assigned a tax of $54. My tax rate is already probably one of the highest in the country at 8.75%, but 54 is off the chart - (13%).

On our webpage we have heard of the rare occurrence where tax is not correctly calculated. Of course this would cause you to feel very shocked - especially when knowing that you already pay a much higher tax than everyone else. We are sorry we caused you to be alarmed. The good news is that when these orders are processed our billing software corrects the error to the right amount. On your order I see that $34.32 was charged for tax which seems in line with the 8.75% you quoted. The total amount billed to your credit card once your item shipped was corrected to this tax amount as well.

I bought a pretty Island Bay hammock that has quilted straps. Very pretty until you lay in it then the straps separate and your bottom hangs out with one strap or none supporting you. They offered a 25% discount which is nothing or return and refund. But I don't have a hammock box to send it back nor do I have access to find one as our lake house is remote. Guess I'm stuck with it or I'll have to get a pad to put in it to get straps together. Very disappointed.

I bought a coat rack that I use as a towel rack from Hayneedle about five years ago. And I recently ordered another one in a different color to be used in a guest bedroom for towels. I like them completely. I also ordered a baker's rack which is kind of a sideboard for kitchen. And I was disappointed with the quality even though it was on sale and discounted considerably. I didn’t do a review online that would be posted with the product, but I got an email asking me to take a survey. So, I took the opportunity on the survey to say that I was disappointed in that particular item and that I didn’t feel it was returnable because you had to practically destroy the packaging to get it unpacked. And I described in detail what I was disappointed in.
A few days later, the Hayneedle customer service reached out to me and asked me to explain in detail about why I was disappointed in that product, which I did. And then a day later, they sent me an email saying that they would credit me with a full refund and didn't ask me to return it. I was in a position before they reached out to me to not order from them again. But then they absolutely reached out and wanted to make it right. Now they have a customer for life because they listen to their customer. I will continue to search their website when I'm looking for something specific. They have excellent customer service.

5/26/17- Ordered Gift Certificates with a Gift Card of $200. Customer service told me I had to buy 3 worth $195.00 and I should have it within 24 hours. Called back on 5/30 and order was cancelled. No one knew why nor was I notified. Customer service told me that they would run it again on 5/30/17, received a call again on 5/30/17 and was given another order number and was assured all was good. Checked status again today and order again was cancelled. Again, no one notified me. Called again and there was no explanation. First and last time doing business with Hayneedle. Terrible experience. I was given 2 order numbers and nothing happened. In the meantime my funds are being withheld.

I placed an order a week ago and received a confirmation of my order. A week later when I hadn't received a shipping confirmation, I went on the site and found the item had been cancelled! I never cancelled it. I called and they said it was out of stock - if that was true why did they accept the order? I even talked to a supervisor and they were useless. I will never look at their site again!

I ordered a queen bed, nightstand, and chest from Hayneedle. First, the shipping companies couldn't locate the item so it caused a delivery delay. I had to call the primary shipper and local shipper on three-way to hunt it down, then they blamed each other. Second, several of the boxes arrived severely damaged especially the bed headboard box and the actual headboard box had slight damage. I was willing to overlook that as it was an unseen part of the headboard. Unfortunately, third, during assembly, the footboard rail screws are on the wrong place. It's not possible to just make your own holes due to the connection pieces.
I called Customer Service and to start, the agent had a bit of a defensive attitude. She said that a return would require the original boxes... which are broken completely (mostly during shipping). She said I would have to rebox them up for FedEx and they would not help with any of that... even though the boxes were damaged during shipping. I asked her if she thought it was fair to expect me to manage repackaging of a broken product and she seemed to think that was OK which is ridiculous IMO. I'll bet she wouldn't like it if this happened to her and this is what she was being told.
Basically, I'm stuck with a broken bed that I can't repackage to return. I asked what other options she had and she said none. So I asked her for a discount on the product at least, and she asked, "What do you have in mind." I started with 25% thinking it would be applied to my whole order and she said OK but only for the bed. So I asked for 50% which will hopefully cover the cost of a service professional to come to my home and make the bed usable. And she tried to end the call several times thinking she had offered me the best options. Just poor customer service or a bad rep... either way, not acceptable. No acknowledgement that this was going to put me out. I had to ask for the discount to even get a consideration, then she wasn't going to offer me the best option unless I asked for it.
I'm stuck with a broken bed, with a portion of it refunded, and have nowhere to sleep until I hire a handyman to come make this bed stable/workable. Guess I'll sleep in my guest room until then. Sheesh. While the customer service rep had limited options to provide me, her attitude didn't help at all, and she wasn't willing to help me to the max of her capabilities, just bare minimum to get me off the phone. This was my first and LAST time to order through this poorly run company Hayneedle. Buyer beware.

I was looking for something that looked like Hayneedle's Pagoda Wood Arbor and there were multiple selections I could have gone with but in hindsight, I went with the cost. There were ones that were $200 and $300 and I got the $125 version. It's an outside arbor and I was a little surprised about how fragile it is especially its center parts. It's like balsa wood, which is not something for outside. When I first got it, I didn't realize it was broken until I had it about 90% put together and got to the part that was broken. The box was damaged, so obviously it was damaged in transit. I could have returned it and got my money back but when you're 90% done with the project, you just want to get it done. I had to fix it myself and I wasn't happy about that.
My wife hates it. It was more ornamental than something that you would buy for an arbor that you're gonna grow plants up through. It should be better made for that type of advertisement and I feel like I was ripped off. They marketed it a little bit and it wasn't what I expected. It also arrived cracked because the wood is so fragile. It's not solid wood and even when putting it together I said, "Man, windstorm could knock this thing down." I have one on the other side of my yard and it's still in great shape. They look the same but the one I bought 12 years ago was made out of 2x4's. And I thought I was getting something very similar but I just wasn't paying attention.
For the money I spent, I'm not happy. I put it together and it's sitting out there now but it's just not strong enough for what we wanna do with it. The product is what it is. It's a cheap arbor and if you buy something cheap, it usually is cheap and poorly made. Also, that's what happens when you buy online. And I feel like I'm out of $120 because I'm gonna replace it with something a little bit more durable and well put together. It's my decision though and my own fault going with the cheaper one.

I was looking for an outdoor rocking chair online and I happen to put it in and it went to Hayneedle's site. Overall, my purchasing experience was fine. I just put in my credit card information and a little bit of other information. We like our rocking chair a lot and it is worth the value.

Since my initial, and significant difficulties, Hayneedle has put forth a considerable, and fully adequate effort to correct the problem. I was very surprised at the amount of effort they were willing to invest, once the issues I was having became known to their Escalations department. Thought this is my only interaction with Hayneedle, based on their efforts to make the situation right, I believe my experience to be rare. They exceeded my expectations when responding to this issue, and it was resolved to my satisfaction. I would absolutely do business with them again based on their resolution and conduct.

Two weeks ago I ordered a large set of patio furniture, for just under $3,000. The order confirmed... and then two days later I get an email that the order canceled. I emailed them over the weekend, and got generic lip service back. When I called the following Monday, they told me there was a problem with my billing and/or shipping address (they don't know which). So I confirmed the info with my bank, and re-ordered via the telephone. I waited a few days, thinking everything was fine... and again, I get an email that my order was canceled. So I call them again. I email them. I went as far as to send them the link house on Zillow to prove that it does in fact exist. It's been 2 weeks, and they still will not honor the order. I had to cancel my Memorial Day cookout, because Hayneedle refuses to do their job. PS - I live in Massachusetts, not the wilds of Alaska. Shipping to Cape Cod is an issue for zero online retailers... except Hayneedle.

I was looking for a kitchen set so I bought a Hayneedle pub table almost three weeks ago. The shipping process took a little over a week. The picture showed the pub table with the four chairs because I needed a table set. So, it came up with a picture with four chairs. But then, when I looked at the fine print, the chairs are not included and I didn't know it. The quality was good though. I just had to return it because it didn't have the chairs with it.

Hayneedle is easy to deal with but you have to read all the description first. I purchased a Waterford Jewelry Armoire. I have it for a month now and it had a lot of drawers. However, it's not holding as much. It's smaller than I thought it was going to be. I bought it to replace one but now, I'm having to use both of them. I liked the price and the fact that it was cherry. The online experience was very good and the quality of the product is average. It was very easy to order online and the product came very quick, a lot quicker than it said online it was going to come.

I had a young girl helping me do my yard and she found Hayneedle online and it was very easy to navigate. I had never dealt with Hayneedle before and they sent the wrong color of something, and they couldn't have been nicer about just taking it back and getting me the right ones. They got here very fast and I liked that product. They were great. I got two great, big trellises for outside and then I got a picnic table umbrella. They were marked down maybe because it's the beginning of the season. Their price was terrific and the quality is excellent. Often, when you call, people are either not knowledgeable enough or not friendly. However, the lady I talked to at Hayneedle was professional, delightful, helpful and very nice. She straightened out my mess. Very congenial, I would definitely shop there again.

About a month ago, we purchased some Island Bay Wicker Hanging Egg Loveseats from Hayneedle. It hangs from its own stand that you put together. Ordering it online was easy and shipping took about a week. I assembled it and the instructions were fine. There were not very many pieces and it was very easy to construct. I ordered an outdoor patio set plus an extra side chair for delivery to my home. A few days later, I submitted my request online to change the delivery date and location to my new home. The new location is roughly 7 miles from original one. I was never told that this would not be possible. Apparently, this is because they needed to return the items and then reship as "it would affect recertification," (whatever that is) and that they would charge an extra $140 over the $800+ for the items.
Then they simply returned the items to their location WITHOUT INFORMING ME. When the delivery date came and went, I emailed asking when to expect shipment and that is when they credited me for LESS than what I paid (they forgot the sales tax) and they deducted $140 from the credit on top of that. No customer support whatsoever and I can guarantee you that I will never ever order something from this outfit. Can you believe all that they do without any communication? Amazing they are still in business. Give me Amazon or Costco any day of the week!

Hayneedle's website was quick, easy and prompt. The "It's all Good" firepit had palm trees on it, which was cool and unique, so we decided to buy it. The one thing I was surprised about was that when I saw it online, it looked like it was the cherry color but it said natural rust, and it didn't fib. The website said that it was natural rust, and that's exactly what it was. It was different but the website was truthful, and I still love it. I have also looked at other fire pits that were less gauged and I thought ours was priced accordingly. Moreover, the screen and spark arrestor are made a little better. We have some friends who have a firepit and theirs are definitely made cheaper than ours. Our firepit is just what I wanted and I love it.

I wanted to update my original review to share what I have since learned about Hayneedle. My original concern was about the seemingly lack of concern by the company to address issues with shipping and return policies. Every company can make mistakes and have staff who need training about their policies. A good company will address issues that come up to prevent them from reoccurring. My original review was about my concern that Hayneedle was not addressing these issues, thus others could suffer a similar fate as I did. I have since learned that Hayneedle does strive to correct problems areas that arise and will do their best to ensure customers will have a great experience. I now have complete confidence in ordering from them again. While no one can give a 100% guarantee that mistakes won't happen, I believe that with Hayneedle, you will find staff who will courteously and professionally try to resolve a problem and that is the type of company I want to do business with.

If you want to risk not getting the item you order and are willing to deal with the hassle of returning the product to a company with really nice customer service people, then Hayneedle is ok. I ordered a specific beach umbrella (wooden pole so it wouldn't rust) and receive the wrong umbrella (one with a metal pole). I was on vacation so I had no time to reorder and had to return it. The polite customer service staff gave me different instructions on how the return would take place. I had to incur additional, unnecessary expenses as a result of some incorrect instructions.
After the matter was resolved, I contacted Hayneedle directly to try to help them be able to address the problems so it might not happen to other customers. The response I received was a generic "Sorry for your trouble" with no indication they would try to do better. I even wrote a second time asking if they planned on trying to improve. No response. Because of that, and because of other reviews I read about people having the same problems, I thought I needed to come here to warn others about this company. They are nice, but seem to be in need of better training or better methods of shipping to ensure the correct product is sent. Beware.

Recently, I bought some office furniture from Hayneedle and they're of good quality. They looked good and were in my price range. I got the items within a week and it was fast. There were a lot of parts but the instructions for their build were fair. My husband is really good at this stuff. Had he not been as good, he might have been a little more frustrated, but we figured it out and we got a couple of things that were the same type. Once we got one done, the second was easier. Overall, I'll use and order from Hayneedle again. I would recommend them too.

There were two shades of wood for a patio table, "dark brown" and "brown." Twice I ordered a "dark brown" patio table to match "dark brown" chairs that I also ordered from the company. Twice I was sent an item that was labeled as "brown" and was the incorrect finish. Please Hayneedle, send me the correct table to go with my chairs!!! I have spent a month trying to solve the quagmire. Customer service reps from Hayneedle were very nice, but should have sent this issue to management to solve with the manufacturers which is who they kept blaming the issue on. Also a customer service rep I spoke to on Saturday said she would at least email me back by Wed. after speaking to manufacturers... never did.

My lamps from Hayneedle are absolutely perfect. I'm a senior on a low income and knew exactly what I wanted. I must have looked at a lot of lamps online and this is one of the first ones I saw that I liked. They came fast and they were as advertised. I'm really hard to please and I have a very distinct style of decorating. But they are very inexpensive lamps and I've told everyone how much I love them. I purchased a Metal Gazebo and the product arrived in a broken opened box and metal parts are broken. In addition after spending 10 hours putting the Gazebo up we now found out it leaks in 7 spots when it rains. I called Wayfair and asked them to come take it down as it takes 10 hours and put up another new one which will take another 10 hours and one that does not leak. They said no and offered me $60. We bought a stroller for our little baby that we're expecting next week. I Googled that stroller and Hayneedle was the only one that had it for $100 off as what everybody else is asking. I ordered a coffee table in December from Hayneedle through Google. After waiting for about 10 days, I received an email saying thanking me for my return. I was shocked since I never received the table. I called and they said it was probably damaged in transit and automatically returned. I was told I will receive a full credit. Purchase price $251.00. Credit $231. 00. Tried to explain that they owe me $20. They say I should contact Google to get that back. I never heard of such a thing. Never had the table and lost $20.00???

You should REALLY redesign your CHECK-OUT Process. When I placed this order (4-11-2017 - $1200+), your check-out process stated that I would get a $35 reward for this purchase. It ALSO STATED that the reward would NOT post until it shipped. I received the item YESTERDAY (4-14-2017) and the Customer Service, Bethany (nice CS person), I just spoke with a few moments ago SAID. Because I paid with Paypal, and they charge 3%, and I did not pay direct to you with a credit or debit card that I don't get it.
PayPal should have nothing to do with it!! YOU, the business pay close, if not more than 3% by doing a NON-Swipe credit card purchase online. I KNOW, as I am in business both in office and online, and EVERYONE Pays more for non-swipe purchases when the customer is not there to present the CC. NOTHING was stated in your checkout process about PayPal does not get the rewards in the check-out process or in the follow-up info I got via email.
It was your company who offered the rewards and not myself asking for it. So then you offer a reward for this purchase, but take away, most likely due to "fine print" deep within the website elsewhere. Thus why it should be posted clearly at checkout to give your buyers an option as to if they wanted to forfeit the reward or not. I operate on "principles of the matter" and as a consumer who buys now 80% of my personal and business needs online, it is not a good way to keep a potential repeat buyer. I am not trying to tell you how to run your business, but merely trying to inform you from a consumer standpoint that it makes me think twice about another purchase here.

We ordered what was supposed to be a skywalker 14×8 rectangular trampoline with enclosure for $247.52. We even called to Hayneedle customer service to verify the price and what all was included. We receive box one of two of the trampoline. So basically half of a trampoline. When we called Hayneedle to see where the second box was, we were told that there was actually a glitch in their system, and if we wanted the second box (which included the other half of the parts of our trampoline) we would have to pay an additional $195.00 to get it. For this price we could have ordered it from any other retailer. I mean seriously, who would order half of a trampoline?? Lesson learned Hayneedle if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is... and this company is nothing but a scam!!!

We have a little alcove in our hallway entryway off the garage. And I was looking for something to fill in there that my husband can put his shoes in so I ordered the Bermuda hall tree with storage bench about six weeks ago. I had no problem at all. It was delivered quickly with free shipping. It's quite a bit shorter than I expected it to be. I've had the dimensions in there. I didn't pay much attention to it, other than the width and the depth of it. In the picture, it looks pretty tall but it isn't any taller than I am. But I like the style and the price.

It was difficult for me to find a floating shelf and it took me an hour until I finally found them in Hayneedle. It had that dark color and it was a great price. That was what I needed. I didn’t install them very well so it took me a couple of times. But I love the product, they look great. They are holding up well. But I wish the mount system was a little bit better. The anchors that came with the screws were not good. You put a screw in it and it totally falls apart so Hayneedle might want to have those built somewhere else. I couldn’t use the anchors, which is why I am having a weight problem now. Other than that, it's a really quality product. They just need to work on those anchors.

I found the ordering process very frustrating. I placed an order for my business (cabin rentals). I ordered 4 headboards and six bedding sets. The first time I ordered, I received an email stating that there was a problem with my order and it was cancelled. When I verified, with my credit card company that there was not a problem with my credit card, I called in to place the order. The man that I spoke with entered the order again for me (this took about 30 minutes). Again, a couple of days later, I get an email stating that the order was cancelled. I called again, and this time, I spoke with a lady and I was told that Hayneedle does not deliver to trailer parks. I tried explaining that I did not live in a trailer park and that the delivery was going to my office.
I gave Hayneedle one more try and placed another order. I did not receive a cancellation email, so I decided to check the order with Hayneedle and discovered, once again the order was cancelled. I am a business owner who rents cabins, and two weeks worth of hassles dealing with this company has cost me money and time. To this day, no one can tell me why the order kept getting cancelled.

This is my 2nd time on the phone with them, attempting to order ONE thing. Between the two calls I have spent nearly approximately an hour on the phone, but I am still on hold. The first time I attempted to order with a MasterCard generic gift card. They then informed me I could not order with that, that I had to buy a Hayneedle gift certificate. I purchased the Hayneedle gift certificate. I tried to place the order online, it did not accept the certificate number. I called, the rep said she never dealt with gift certificates. Then, she returns and tells me, "Okay, it's all set you just have to put in your credit card number." Why would I have to put in a credit card number IF I AM PAYING WITH A PAID GIFT CERTIFICATE? 35 min later, they now claim to be refunding my money. I will update in a few days as I await the refund to post.

I just Googled antique and a lot of choices and pictures came up. I ordered a couple of lanterns from Hayneedle last month since they have the style and the lanterns that I was looking for. The lanterns are great and really nice. It's a solar dusk and dawn type and they're working well. Everything worked fine with Hayneedle. There were no slip-ups. I got what I wanted and what I needed in a timely fashion.

I needed a tri-fold room divider for an area in my house to divide two rooms and I bought one from Hayneedle. It was easy ordering it online. The process was so simple and they delivered as promised. However, I got the product in a crushed box and the room divider's front and back were broken. I returned it and that all went fast. I found one locally but if the one from Hayneedle wasn't broken, I would have thought it was very good quality and I would've kept it. Also, I didn't feel like they were a shady site. I felt like I was going to get a good product and the prices were good. What happened to my order was a shipping issue and that wasn't Hayneedle's fault.

The first item I ordered from Hayneedle through Walmart was smashed to smithereens in shipping. But I contacted their customer service by email and within three days I had a new one. Their response was outstanding.

It was my wife's birthday and I didn't buy her anything of note in the first two and a half years of us being married. So, I decided to spend some money and buy her something she can appreciate. She didn't like the first two things I got and it dawned on me every day that she's standing in front of the bathroom mirror putting her makeup on so I bought a vanity.
I went with a mirror with white wood grain top from Hayneedle because of the price, the quality, and the way it looked. I got it through Amazon.com and the website was easy. I had to figure out which one to get but I knew what size I wanted and what space it would fit in. I had to rearrange the bedroom and move a dresser where that was sitting over and put the other dresser at the base of the bed. When it arrived, it took me two plus hours to put it together. But it came undamaged and it was relatively easy. Also, it's high quality. I liked it but it didn't come with lights. I went ahead and bought a standup light from Lowe's so she's got enough light to see. But I'm very satisfied with it and I already contemplated ordering a dresser from Hayneedle.

It was a very pleasurable and smooth experience with Hayneedle. We needed a coat rack so we googled it. Hayneedle was listed somewhere up on top and we liked what we saw. We went through their website, checked all the other products and this rack looked like it's going to match the room. We ordered it and assembled it right away. I've been thinking of getting a park bench so when I got a flyer, I went on Hayneedle's website and looked at the metal park bench. I liked the way it looked and the price was also fair enough. I usually shop through Amazon but I couldn't find what I was looking for, and Hayneedle had it. I ordered screen stands from them. Their online ordering process was easy. However, the product didn't arrive 'till very, very late. I received an email or a text that it had arrived prior to its actual arrival. I had to have it researched and then finally, it arrived. They did an investigation and apparently the ball dropped with FedEx. Overall, Hayneedle is a good company.

I received the Nexera Liber-T Modular Design Your Own Storage and Entertainment System - 3 Drawer Filing Cabinet - White and Espresso and Nexera Liber-T Desk Part - White from Hayneedle. The parts were damaged and some parts were missing. I called Hayneedle and they contacted the manufacturer to send me new parts for the piece that was damaged and the missing piece. They shipped me wrong pieces. The missing piece was never send. It has been over a month. I called Hayneedle at least twice a week to follow up. It has been 40 days since I placed the order and I still don't have the issue resolved. Finally, today I received a message via e-mail from one of the supervisors from Hayneedle that they don't have parts available and I have an option to ship the desk back or they will issue me credit for the parts that are damaged/missing.
For over 30 days they promised to send me the parts and now they don't manufacture the parts?!? I wanted to ship everything back as that was the option but I haven't kept the boxes. Who keeps the boxes after +30 days and when they promise to send you the parts. I asked Hayneedle to provide the boxes and they don't provided boxes. At the end we agreed for them to send me a new filing cabinet and I can take the missing material from the filing cabinet. For the damaged top desk they gave me $30. I was just so sick of spending every other day with them on the phone that I agreed. But $30?!? I would never ever advise anyone to buy from them. Please do not buy NEXERA products. Horrible, horrible quality. Please do not use Hayneedle... There are so many better online furniture stores. This was my first and last purchase!!!

My nephew loves his bed from Hayneedle. I watched him sleep in it and he looked like a king. We got him the comforter and pillows so he’s really happy with them. Also, the ordering process was very quick. However, we weren't able to assemble one of the drawers as we don’t have the screws for it and I’ve been meaning to call. When we tried to go and buy some from Home Depot, they weren’t the right size.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Hayneedle does work with the customer. Here's the solution they offered... go to Home Depot and buy the missing pieces that they did not include with the Exercise bike purchased. If you don't like that option, buy another one after returning what you bought. This makes absolutely no sense that they forget to include parts and then are not willing to send the missing parts. Why would a consumer buy another product when the underlying issue of missing parts still pertains?

Ordered this product (Trixie Pet Products 2-Story Rabbit Hutch - Brown/White) and it was delivered fast. However it was dumped in my driveway in the freezing rain and the box fell apart as soon as I picked it up. Item was damaged and when I called customer service they told me it was my responsibility to purchase another box to ship it back in or I could not get a refund. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I PAID $186.96 FOR DAMAGED ITEMS DUE TO POOR DELIVERY SERVICE! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

I got online with Walmart, read all these reviews and purchased it for my children for Christmas. Package arrived pretty quickly but once opened day before Christmas to set up only thing it was was brackets. Went thru christmas without the big gift for my kids. Once christmas was done it took a little bit before I found the receipt like 2 weeks so then I emailed them to return the package. I was told no they can't, too long so I order something end of October to have it before christmas and get screwed out $200. Merry 2017 Christmas you crooks. Thanks for robbing my children. In January, I ordered two wrought iron spring rockers. I received notification that they would come the first week of March. I ordered door to door delivery. I inquired about the order on March 11 when the arrival date passed and there were no chairs. I reached out to the delivery company. They said the order was canceled. I called and talked with Wendi. She said she would make calls and then call me back. I did not receive a callback.
I emailed customer service and asked for a supervisor callback, not once, but twice. No callback. Customer service emailed that the order was canceled and I would see the refund to my account 3-5 business days later. Spring is here. My chairs are not. The $550+ is not yet in my account. WORST customer service experience I have ever had with the retail company online. EVER. Had a supervisor called, it may have changed my opinion. Had Wendi called me, it might have been more palatable. I will never do business with them again.
UPDATED ON 04/21/2017: You can read my earlier review, which prompted a response from Hayneedle stating that they would, after the chairs arrived, offer me a discount for the time and inconvenience. After my first post, the delivery company called to schedule a delivery and then, mid-sentence, said the order was canceled. They referred me to Hayneedle. Then a delivery company called to schedule a delivery and said it had been canceled. THEN a delivery company called to schedule the pick up of my chairs, which did not really seem to exist.
This week, my chairs arrived. I reached out to Hayneedle via the messages on ConsumerAffairs, and did not receive follow-up. So note, if you buy from Hayneedle, you may not get your order, may wait a long time and, undoubtedly, customer service will not honor their promises to make things right. I have never been so disappointed in any company with which I have done business.

I looked online and what Hayneedle had caught my eye. So, I researched it, read some good reviews and decided to get the product. I bought bar stools. Ordering online was pleasant and everything was smooth and easy. Also, the delivery was very quick. It took four days and everything came clean and undamaged. My 70-year-old mother put them together for me and it was easy. I've had them for maybe a month and it's good. I'm very happy with them.

Corinthians Wind Chimes - I was very pleased with the product, the pricing, the free shipping & the speed of delivery. Would definitely use again. The only thing I was not too happy about is that the item did not arrive in a plain box so the surprise was ruined when the recipient found the item on the porch and saw what it was before their birthday.

The product (jewelry armoire) was great and shipped very quickly. However, they charged me an extra 5% above the currency exchange, and an extra $90.00 in shipping on top of the $90.00 I already paid. I ended up paying $400.00 CDN for a $159.00 US product. Customer service pointed out that the website mentions extra charges may apply, but this is crazy. They refuse to help because of this and I will never use their service again.

With Hayneedle, it's easy to find what I want. Also, it's free shipping. They have a very friendly website and it doesn't take two weeks to get my purchase as it's here right away. I bought a couch, a bed, a bench, a chair with a footstool, tabletops, a set of dishes, and a large living room rug. I'm happy with the quality of all the products. Both the quality and price are reasonable. However, they could always be cheaper and it's a little bit aggravating to have to put together some of the stuff. The bench took me two hours to put together. It would have been nice to have the items sent to me all put together, which cannot happen as they put it the way they do so it’s compact and they can ship it but I've been very happy with Hayneedle.

We bought a desk from Hayneedle for my daughter. It’s a children's desk with a hutch and a cork board on it and turquoise. It's a nice desk because it came with a chair and everything came right there to put together. Everywhere else we looked, we had to pick out a chair and all the separate pieces. In addition, it's a reasonable price for a six-year old.
The first one that came was completely cracked apart. I almost had a heart attack and didn't want to spend $100 to ship it back. We were a little disappointed because we couldn’t put it together for my daughter’s sixth birthday. But when we called for customer service, the guy that I talked to did a really nice job and made the refund process easy. He sent me packing slips to take to FedEx and get everything put in two huge boxes so I didn’t have to pay for shipping. We shipped those back and then he helped me re-order the desk straight over the phone. The next one came and everything was fine. My daughter's really excited about it and we’re really happy.

Went to Hayneedle.com placed an order for a twin size deck bed. That is what it was titled. It also said you get the book case free. So I ordered the bed. I received a bookcase. I called. Customer service stated that the web page makes it sound like that but there are 3 tries and I ordered the book case. All they will do is send me a return label. I have to return the product to a FedEx and wait for my refund. They admitted their web page states it was a bed. The order summary even gave me the dimensions of the twin bed. Avoid shopping here or you get to do all the leg work!

I bought a clear ivory hutch from Hayneedle. It was something that I wanted, it was like all-in-one. It's pretty good so far. However, when I brought it here, it’s missing a bracket from the back. It’s part of the desk drawer and it's where the keyboard goes. I called and they sent it quickly. So far, everything seems to be well. It’s really pretty and I like how it has everything I wanted. Also, it's a very clear color and I really like it. If it’s been darker colors, it’s hard for me to see and use, but this is easy for me.

On February 11, 2017, I placed an order for two dressers to be delivered to my new house. When they arrived last week the Lazy FedEx Man thought it was a good idea to leave two 100 pound dresser in my driveway. As my wife was home with our 9 month old and three year old. Our garage door was open and we had alerts from the FedEx App on our phones. But, this guy didn't so much as ring the doorbell to let my wife know he was there delivering the dressers.
She got our neighbor to help her put it in our garage which by the way was open. One of the boxes was fine but the other box was mangled and torn. When she opened it up the dresser was broken into several pieces and had a sticker that said it was inspected in China. She took pictures to document all of this. I called customer service and explained the situation and was told by a lady that she would issue out a credit which would take a few hours and she would call me to follow up that day so we could reorder the dresser again and she would give me expedited shipping for my inconvenience. After about five hours went by that day with no phone call from this lady I called customer service back again.
This new lady told me my credit had shown up and she would re-order the new dresser for me. This was last Friday, February 17, 2017. She informed me that I would receive my new dresser on February 27, 2017. I told her that was unacceptable and proceeded to explain what the other representative had said about the expedited shipping because of my bad experience and she told me there was nothing she could do and she would not be able to honor that request. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Tom was put on the phone. Tom was by far the worst example of a supervisor in customer service I have ever had dealings with.
He was not helpful and seemed to be agitated that I was calling him to complain about his company dropping the ball on a delivery. He told me that he would not honor what the first representative had informed me about the expedited shipping. I told him that I'm a manager on my job as well and that in the name of customer service he could expedite the shipping if he WANTED TO! He proceeded to put me on hold for fifteen minutes while he figured out what options he had. I really felt like this was excessive and a stall tactic to try to make me hang up.
He got back on the phone and informed me that it would be processed on Monday and that I would have it by Friday. It felt like I really was a burden on him and he didn't want to do his job. When I asked Tom if I would be getting a new order stating that I would be getting the shipment on Friday, February 24, 2017, he replied, no. I said "so basically I just have your word that this will be delivered on the 24th?" He said, "yes." I asked for his last name, log on ID, or anything that would prove that I had spoken to him. He refused to give me any of that information. I asked him "so are you the only Tom that works for Hayneedle", and he replied with a yes.
After I hung up I called your Corporate Office and spoke with a lady and explained to her my situation. She showed more empathy than Tom did and she also assured me I would have my dresser delivered on February 24, 2017. I did not!!! I received an email from your company at 5:29 am on Tuesday Morning telling me that my dresser had shipped and that I would receive it February 24, 2017. I did not. I kept checking the FedEx Tracking Number and the status never changed from Tuesday up until today. It just kept showing where a label was created. I called FedEx this morning and they told me that they never were in possession of the package. This is unacceptable. I've been lied to, misinformed, and definitely not valued as a customer!
You state on your website that "We pride ourselves on offering an unparalleled selection, excellent product knowledge, and fast service. If we are fortunate to earn your business, we promise to make sure this is one of your best online retail experiences." This has not been one of my best online retail shopping experiences. It's been the worst! If someone at Corporate deems these concerns I've presented to you above to be worthy of an email or a phone call, I would gladly look forward to discuss the details further with someone. This is the letter I sent them on last Friday 2/24/17. No one has thought I was important enough to call me from Corporate. I will never do business with them again and hope after reading my experience with them other customers don't as well.

We bought a vanity stool from Hayneedle and the experience online was very easy. So far, the quality of the product is good. We were looking around at a lot of sites and the pricing at Hayneedle was aligned with what we were seeing in the market, but we went with them because we really liked the design of the chair. It was a very positive experience and I would go back.

I liked the details on the Hayneedle website. Ordering was a very nice experience and I got a hall tree. However, the hall tree's mirror was broken. When I called Hayneedle, I appreciated that they returned my money. They told me to throw out the hall tree but I was able to fix and keep it.

I had been eyeing some products and the price was cheaper on the Hayneedle website than anywhere else. I got the standard dog food bowl that holds the dog food inside of the container and a beveled oval mirror. Though the dog food bowl was a little overpriced, I didn't mind spending that kind of money because it's aesthetically pleasing to the eye and I place it in a room right off our foyer. Then the beveled mirror is in our half bath and its price and quality are excellent.
It's been a month since I got them. I shopped online and added them to the cart, and then purchased it. Then, my orders arrived in perfect condition on our doorstep when they said that was going to. We were moving in when the dog food bowl arrived so my dad opened it and put it together for me, but the mirror was wrapped really well when it came and my husband opened it. Overall, they have quality products for less price and reliable service as far as delivery time.

We were so excited to find this great deal on Hayneedle, and reading free shipping on anything over $50! We went to check out. And it has $70 of shipping added onto our chair. I called customer service and all they can say is "well it charges for Canadian shipping". I tell them nowhere on their mobile app does it say that and she responds with, "well sorry... but we charge to ship to Canada." Nowhere on their website does it say that. Misleading marketing to get you to spend time shopping on their website. I think this is **. And they should have given us free shipping anyway. Customer service was of Zero help. We won't be spending any more time or efforts on this website. Thank God for Amazon and Wayfair... and all the other legitimate websites that don't lie about costs.

I was looking for a specific bed, a Restoration Hardware lookalike, and I typed "iron bed" either on Google or Pinterest and Hayneedle popped up. I was buying for my son and I really didn't wanna spend $1,000 on a bed for a six-year-old. Restoration's was like a $600-$700 bed and then a $200 shipping fee, so after that and taxes, I probably would've spent $900. But Hayneedle has just the right price point which was $399 and then had free shipping or $4.95 shipping, which is unheard of for furniture. So for that cost, I tried them out and I was pleased. It was a really good deal and the online ordering experience was easy.
I've had the bed for about a month now and I was shocked when it came in. I was thinking it wouldn't be a great quality, but it seemed pretty durable and heavy duty. The bed could be sold for $700 and the quality was really Restoration Hardware quality so the price was more than fair. My first Hayneedle experience has been easy, quick, and it's great quality for the price and I would definitely keep coming back and looking online.

I was looking up leather slippers online and Hayneedle popped up. They have decent price and good brand name. My online ordering experience with Hayneedle was easy. They sent the normal order summary and let me know when my order was shipping. I love the slippers that I got. My husband loves them and they're exactly what he wanted. Moreover, the cost in relation to the quality was great. All in all, it was pleasant with them and they had a good selection of items. It was a positive experience and I was pleased. I ordered two bookcases in December of 2016. They both arrived, except one was missing both instructions and hardware. Tore the box apart looking for said items. Nowhere to be found. Put the one together and called customer service about the other one. I was told that because it was close to Christmas that they might have some difficulty contacting the manufacturer and would email me about their progress.
A couple weeks went by, we're now in January, and I contacted customer service, this time by email. The rep emailed me back and indicated they had no record whatsoever of my call and that nothing had been done, but he'll get on it right away. Heard back from them and was informed that, unfortunately, they could not help me but offered two solutions: either send the bookcase back or accept a ten percent discount. There was no way to send everything back, box having been destroyed, so I accepted the ten percent discount. Needless to say, this did not cover the cost of purchasing new hardware. I have never, ever encountered this problem before and was stunned at this foul-up. I will not be back.

We looked at a couple of other places physically and online, and Hayneedle had the best-looking product that fitted our wants. They had the club chairs that we wanted and the price was good. For everything that we saw, that was the best deal, and the shipping was free. The ordering process has been completely seamless. We ordered it and the chairs came like seven days later. I purchased from Hayneedle in the past and they've always been good. Their prices are fair too. A little over a month ago, my wife purchased a furniture styled pet carrier from them, and it looked like it had been dropped on the corner during shipping. The packaging was all smashed up and there were two pieces that were broken.
A few days later, we got an email from the supplier asking for pictures as they wanted to see what kind of damage it was, and a day or two after sending the pictures, we got a notice saying the parts were shipped. It took about 10 days or so, then we had the part. We put them on and the carrier now works fine. It's a good product and the dog likes it. It was a good experience in that they had good customer service and they dealt with a problem that we had very quickly.

I search in Google when looking for products to buy then my search results will tell me what company has the lowest price and I see Hayneedle to have the lower price a lot of times. Their ordering process online is all much the same with other websites. But there's something I don't like, which I've also seen from other websites. We check out as 'Guest', which I don't like to put all my information in. But then it prompts me to sign in or would say 'Blocked'. Sometimes that can be confusing because I'm wondering if my order went through or if I'm checking out as 'Guest'. But I love Hayneedle's products including its quality. I'm doing shabby chic stuff and they happen to have all the stuff I like. Also, I've never had to return anything I bought from them.

My order was cancelled so I called and the lady told me there were no notes as to why so they would look into it and get back to me. I told this lady to write a note stating to not reorder unless I was called and notified as to why my order had been cancelled. Hayneedle went ahead and reordered this without contacting me so I called them and they could not give me a reason as to why they had cancelled it to, they just tried to blame it on my bank, I had already called my bank to ask them and they told me it was nothing on their end. They told me I would get it on Friday which was a lie because I received it the Monday after. I get it and it has broken pieces so I called and my option is to wait 72 more hours for a reply to see if they have these prices or to buy a whole other one and wait another week. I think this site and employees are nothing but a joke! I will never order from hayneedle again and advise others to search different sites too.

I love Hayneedle and everything I bought from them. I also love all their products which are absolutely fabulous. They're tough stuff and the price is fantastic. And when I received my orders, they're always true to life. A lot of times when I buy online and receive the product, it doesn't even resemble what's been shown on the site. But that's not true with Hayneedle.
I'm an interior and exterior designer and an artist. I have very large clients and they are always exceptionally happy with what I choose for them from the Hayneedle site, whether it's an outdoor umbrella or cushion or hammock. They make my job a lot easier as an artist and I can't thank them enough. It's the quality, color, design and the artistry of everything in their displays that just pop in my eye and that doesn't happen with every site. I do acknowledge their designers display their photos and how they put up the bedding set, the prints, and the wall decor. For instance, their setup for Christmas time was wonderful and I liked how everything was put together. I had recently a friend who wanted to make a child's room into bunk bed and they had that white colored furniture bunk bed and we bought them. I'm a stickler with the details and I love the class and elegance of their designers and the people that work for the company.
They're amazing and I'm always excited to visit their site. It's easy for me to buy things from them online and my experience is always great. Even though I also go to other companies, I'm always satisfied when I purchase from Hayneedle. At this level, their high competitors are losing not only stock in their company but people like me that connect with people from all over the world. When my friends and neighbors come over and ask me where I got my stuff, I tell them about Hayneedle. I also share their site with a lot of my clients and family. I really enjoy being loyal to this kind of quality company and I want to keep them alive and going.

We attempted to order a coffee table from this company, wanted it delivered to our Pak Mail address as this is the only way we can guarantee getting our deliveries. Hayneedle is unable to deliver to PO boxes, hotels, Pak Mails, mail services, etc. They have no way of getting the item to us other than mail to our home address which is a very unsecured condo. Very disappointing, they were not able to offer me any options.

I purchased two side tables for going on the side of the chair from Hayneedle. It matched the other furniture that I have. I got it on sale and thought the price was very reasonable. The online ordering was very easy and the product's quality was pretty good. It also got there within three days. However, they were a little bit more difficult to put together. The screws on one of the tables were not really the correct size for the table. It needed something larger so I went and got the right ones. I also sent them an email telling them that they needed better quality control wherever they buy the products, to check them out to make sure that everything was in the package and that it fit properly. I know that is difficult to do when they get it packed then they just send out the box but it was a little aggravating. I mainly sent it to help them. I would order from them again.

We live in Hancock, Michigan, which is snow, snow and snow and not many major stores so we go looking for a lot of our home items online. It’s a pleasure to find somewhere where we can just go on and Hayneedle was there. I saw their grease pot separator and they had the best price. The ordering process was easier than any other site I’ve ever used. It was pretty simple, just go then put in your information and ship. I also like the fact that I didn’t pay the shipping. This company double billed me for a purchase for $140.78. They charged me once on January 5, 2017, then again on January 6, 2017. Numerous attempts both in writing and by phone to resolve this matter have failed. All they do is send back automatic form responses. I'm in the process of suing them to get my $140.78 back.

I've ordered Hayneedle end tables to go with one on each side of the bed in the bedroom. I ordered the first one and waited a while then got the newest one 2-3 months ago. My online ordering experience was simple because I'm doing it all the time, but it's also pretty general, easy, and people-friendly. The quality of the products is good and it was what I expected, and exactly the right size. The cost in relation to the quality was perfect. I didn't pay a whole lot. We enjoyed our experience with Hayneedle. Super service. I got Real Flame, an awesome gel for fireplaces, and I've had no problems with the online ordering. It took five minutes, then the following day they sent me a confirmation and the product came a day later. The product has good quality. The online ordering experience with Hayneedle was very easy. I purchased from them because of the product's price or cost, which was very good compared to other prices that I was looking at. I purchased a dog crate from Hayneedle but it was missing pieces and we couldn't assemble it. We told Hayneedle and they gave us a refund. The customer service rep who I dealt with was excellent but my husband is upset with them.

I discovered early this winter that my bedroom in my new house gets very cold at night. I ordered a space heater, and that has helped. However, when I saw an electric blanket on Hayneedle, I thought this would be the best product for giving me a warm, sound night's sleep. The order was placed 12/21/2016. My account was charged and the shipping label created. I have written to Hayneedle to discover the status of the order, but the response was "Thanks for placing your order." That was not the point of my inquiry.
When I wrote again today to give clear directions regarding the future of my order, the email was returned with one of the delightful fatal error messages. So, I am writing to other consumers to tell you that I will call Hayneedle next week when Customer Service is open to cancel my order. I think a month to ship something that is listed as being in stock is absolutely unacceptable. I want my money refunded. I will write again if there is any more to this story.

I was looking for a desk with a particular size and would fit in a corner. Hayneedle had that desk and it fits perfectly. The quality of the desk is not excellent but it’s good. The cost was fine for what it is too. It fits the need that we were looking for and I'm happy with it. Everything worked out really well and I can only say good things about it.

After posting this review, I was contacted by the company with an offer to accept the return at no cost to me. By that point, I'd already contacted FedEx to request the shipment be returned to the sender. According to an email I just received, I should have the refund within 3-5 days. Had Hayneedle offered me this option from the beginning, I would have had no issues with the company.

I placed an order last night for the Dwell Home Sofa 2 Go Franklin Sofa and Loveseat. Within an hour, I found the two items on Bed, Bath and Beyond's website for $150 cheaper. I did not see a "cancel order" option on my Hayneedle online account, so I cancelled via phone. I then placed my order with Bed, Bath and Beyond. When I logged in to my Hayneedle account today, the order was listed as "Pending" with no mention of a cancellation.
I called Hayneedle to confirm cancellation and was told there was no way to guarantee cancellation, although the item hasn't yet shipped. I was also told that I may or may not receive notice within 3 days regarding whether or not I will be charged almost $1000 for an order I cancelled within an hour of placing. I was also told that if the item ships, I will be responsible for a $40 return shipping charge. I would have waited to place my order with Bed, Bath and Beyond until I received confirmation that my order was actually cancelled had I been informed of this company's policy regarding their inability to cancel orders. I really wish I'd researched Hayneedle on this website before placing an order, because this seems to be a common problem.

A Barbie Dollhouse from Hayneedle was the first one I had ordered for a Christmas gift. Their online ordering process was very simple. Their site was very user-friendly and very easy to go through. The quality of their product was excellent as well. It was very easy to put together and assemble. I got a really good deal on it compared to what the competitors were offering for the same product. When I started looking it was like $350. So for an $80, that was fantastic and it came with furniture. It was a really, really good gift for my granddaughter.

I was very disappointed with the customer service. I received the completely wrong item. Instead of rectifying your mistake in a easy and timely manner, I was asked if I just wanted "to just return the wrong item and be done with it." In the end that is exactly what I ending up doing. I still had to be inconvenienced by having to find a place to print return label, carry the heavy item to my car downstairs and drive to FedEx. They did not simply correct their mistake by shipping the correct item. I had to wait 5-7 days to receive my refund and then place a completely new order. They would not compensated for all my trouble in any way. In the end I just canceled the order, hopefully I will receive my refund as promised. We'll see.

I placed an order and it went in backorder. I called customer care and person said item was shipped from China and it would be sent to my address as soon as product was received. After a week, I got an email saying it would be delayed further. I called customer care team and no straight answer. Call went for more than 90 mins. I was put on hold at least for 5 times during the whole conversation with customer care person and each time it was long hold, at times it was for more than 10 mins.
Despite long and numerous holds, I didn't get the straight answer and conversation was going in circle. Received irresponsible answers like if I want, I could cancel the order and all. Felt very bad for choosing Hayneedle with the kind of options I was given to address my concern. At last, I had to ask for customer care representative's supervisor to get help. Very very bad experience. Still I've not received my product. Would not recommend Hayneedle to anyone. I regret for choosing Hayneedle.

I was looking for the little infrared stove type heaters. I had gone online to Amazon and Hayneedle had the better price. The items that I got were on sale, which was cheaper than what I would have bought them from the stores. I got them before Christmas. Everything was well secured inside the box. There were no damages and the delivery was a lot faster than what I had anticipated. I love my heaters and I was very pleased with the product. I will consider using Hayneedle again.

We got an electric fireplace from Hayneedle a couple of weeks ago. I was looking at that product and I got a coupon from Hayneedle for 10% off, which brings the price down compared to the competitors. It was easy to find and order. The package came in pretty fast, intact and nothing’s opened.

I bought a mountain bike for my oldest boy from Hayneedle three weeks ago. They were the only one who had the mountain bike in his size in stock. Ordering online was super easy. It was literally just two clicks. And then I put in my payment and shipping information and that was it. It was delivered a day earlier than they told me it would be. The bike was a really great deal. It was deeply discounted from the other sites that didn’t even have it in stock. The quality is wonderful too. My son's abusive on his bike and it’s holding up great. So, I’ll probably be back.

I ordered several pieces of furniture and a set of chairs came with the wrong parts. I returned the chairs using the return shipping label Hayneedle provided me, they have received the chairs in their Middletown, OH facility and have acknowledged that in an e-mail they sent to me. They said the refund for the chairs would be credited to my PayPal account in 7 to 10 days. It has not been credited to my account and this was back on 11/08/16. I have contacted them several times both through e-mail and phone and all they say is it should have posted. It must be PayPal's error. I opened a dispute claim with PayPal and they are just as bad. They keep pointing the finger at each other. Both Hayneedle and PayPal are horrible companies. I would strongly advise anyone from using either of these ripoff artists. I am now going through my credit card company to resolve the issue and they seem to be trying to help.

I liked the products on Hayneedle. Their pricing was also very good compared to here in Charleston. And the free shipping's nice, too. Also, it's easy to find what I'm looking for. I go into the category I want, and go down and check the product, view it, and check the price out. I haven't had any problem and I'm in my 70's. I bought a fountain for outside for next year. I had them put it together on the porch. The birds seem to like seeing the lights come on the back porch now. The price is also right. It was different from others that I had seen. It was a good product and seems to be working fine since I've had it. I also bought a couple products from them and they seemed to be very good quality. I would definitely recommend them.

Ordering online from Hayneedle was great and easy. They have really good prices with good quality. I bought 2 chairs, barrel chairs and a bookshelf. It's just that the delivery had a lot of trouble. It took a long time to get the product. I would track it and it said it’s arriving tomorrow. For three days in a row, it was arriving tomorrow. I finally started calling Hayneedle and calling UPS and no one knew what anyone was doing and it was a mess. It took 2 weeks. It was supposed to be a couple of days. I wasted hours staying home, waiting for the delivery. I did get a desk a couple of months ago and it was delivered just fine and everything was good.

I ordered two twin mattresses for my daughter's bunk bed on 12/10 with guaranteed delivery before Christmas. One of the mattresses arrived on 12/16. After reviewing tracking information for the second mattress, it merely showed "label created." I called customer service the following day - this had gone unnoticed by hayneedle and I had not received any emails in regards to any issues or delays. I was told the problem was with the supplier. The customer service rep called the supplier who was closed over the weekend and then sent an email to the supplier. I was told I would hear from someone as the response from the supplier would be forwarded to me.
When I had not heard anything by Tuesday 12/20, I called back. Unfortunately, the second rep did not do anything else to correct what was obviously an error in their communication with one of their suppliers. I was told the supplier had 72 hours to respond to the email that was sent by the first customer service rep. That would have been Thursday, 12/22. However, again I hear nothing and get the feeling I will not be receiving the second mattress I paid for almost two weeks ago. Bottom line is I was not once contacted by hayneedle with a plan of how to rectify this situation. And on top of that, each time I called there was no resolution either.
As a customer, it does not concern me where the problem is, who has how long to respond to whom, etc. - all I want to know is where is the item I was promised to receive before Christmas. I know it is in stock as the first rep who sent the email to the supplier confirmed there were 250! How about sending me another one the first time I call in and then rectifying this problem with your supplier internally?? Today, 12/23, after another three days of complete silence, I was offered my money back for the second mattress and once again I was the one who called.
How much good does a bunk bed do as a Christmas present with just one mattress? Where am I supposed to get another one before Christmas?! I also want the mattresses to match, so what do I do with the first one?! All in all poor customer service due to absolutely no contact or concern from hayneedle, no resolution offered over the past week with plenty of time to ship a new item, and now no item by Christmas Day as promised - a horrible experience!!

I ordered the KidKraft Majestic Mansion Dollhouse for the three year old daughter. It is a little girl's dream. I found out after purchasing it, that her father had already purchased it for his house. Naturally, I wanted to cancel my order before it shipped and to have my money refunded to my credit card so I could get her something different but just as special. Mind you - I ordered the dollhouse less than 24 hours prior. When I called customer service, they said the item had been assigned a "ticket" - had NOT been shipped and did NOT have a tracking number. I was told it would have to be shipped to my home, and if I still didn't want it, that I would have to send it back AND pay for the shipping charges. I decided to keep it.
It is now the day before Christmas Eve, and after 4 hours of trying to put the house together, I realize that all of the parts needed were not packed as they should have been. So now, my little girl will not be getting her dollhouse after all, and I have to pay to send it back - even though I requested to do so in the first place. Amazon.com... All the way... From now on. I hope you crumble, Hayneedle.

On December 15th I placed an order for a Christmas gift. I could have gotten free shipping, but in order to receive the item on December 23rd (in time for Christmas) I paid for upgraded shipping. Today (December 22) I got an email stating that my order had shipped and would arrived on December 27th, TWO DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS! I called Hayneedle and spoke with a very nice and helpful woman. She called FedEx on my behalf, to see if there was any way the item could be expedited, but it cannot. Because I won't receive the item until AFTER Christmas, the shipping cost was refunded. A MAJOR Christmas surprise is now ruined. Thanks to this company. This is a specialty item not available locally. Although the delay was blamed on FedEx, I hold the company responsible. If their carrier can't deliver, then a different carrier should be used. I will NEVER order from this company again! Buyer Beware!

It's been 3 months since we've had Hayneedle products. We bought a lot of stuff from Amazon, including some range, dining room chairs, and little card table chairs that we use for game chairs on wheels. I wanted something with wheels on it so I can roll across my hardwood floors without scratching them. They were the only ones I found that were similar to some that I couldn't get through Staples. We had sat in some similar chair at Staples and we went for five weeks not being able to get them in stock. My husband got online and ended up finding some that I liked and they happen to have them so we ordered. The online ordering experience with Hayneedle was one of the easier ones, in fact.
They were fast at getting them delivered but I was a little upset with the delivery man. He left them on our doorstep when we weren't home and it was raining. It rains in Oregon and we got home about 20 minutes after it started raining so they weren't too messy. They were all right inside but I was real upset with the delivery person because we didn't expect him until the next day. He had to race home basically so he came early. Even so, I liked the quality except that I was hoping they would be a little bit softer. They were hard to sit on but I put cushions in them. It's been a very good experience.

We were remodeling our kitchen. I ordered two lights at the same time in plenty of time for the contractors to put up. Only one came. When I contacted them, they said it would be several weeks. Our contractors were done by then. The contractors were not able to come back until several weeks later. The lights did not work so I wanted to return them. They will not let me return them because it was too long when they were the reason they could not be hung on time. Very disappointed with this company.

I saw a picture of a big baker's rack on Hayneedle's website and purchased it. Ordering it online was very easy. However, they say the drawers are removable, but they're not. We can't get the drawers out without totally disassembling the entire wood unit. Although it was easy enough to do, they should change their description on the website. Also, we thought it should be darker and thought the metal was of little different colors, so I completely redid it. I stripped it down to bare wood, re-stained, and re-varnished it. But aside from that, it was easy to put together and had a wonderful quality.

My first order with Hayneedle.com was not a good experience at all. I ordered a lovely outdoor rocking chair. It arrived and had been expertly packed. The chair was in 4 parts: 2 rocker pieces and 2 pieces to chair itself. It looked great. However, there was no hardware to put the chair together; and there were no instructions. When I called customer service, I was offered 30% off to go buy my own hardware and "guess" how to put it together. I am not a handyman and knew that would not work for me; she gave me the option of returning the chair and getting a replacement; I said okay.
After a couple of long waits on the phone, as I was looking at the website, I noticed that the color I ordered originally was no longer available AND the price had gone up on the chair in just a few days. The rep had not told me that so when she finally came back on the phone, I cancelled the order and said that I was returning the original only, no replacement.
Needless to say, just getting the chair back in the box and getting it down to where FedEx could pick it up was a big hassle. The next day (today) I received an email from Hayneedle that there was "an issue" with my payment and to call. After waiting again on the phone, the rep told me that the replacement order was still in the system and she wondered about whether I had ordered another. I explained the situation. As much as I love the products on the Hayneedle website, I will not order from them again... It's too big a hassle. They don't seem to have an organized system. I've order many, many times from Amazon.com and never had an issue; that's probably why Amazon is taking over the world. :-)

We have been using a TV armoire from Hayneedle for about three years now. We purchased it because of the reviews and the good price. I ordered a 6ft bean bag as a birthday gift for my son. I paid extra to get it in time for his birthday today. I have kept sending emails asking for a tracking number that was suppose to be sent and no one has been able to do this. I found a number and called today just to find out it was out of stock and hasn't even shipped yet. She thinks they got more in stock yesterday, so it may ship Monday. They gave me a tiny discount. Was gonna be ordering a fireplace from them today. That is NOT gonna happen now. Super annoyed.

The bookcase that I bought is perfect for what I needed it for and it's exactly what I was expecting it to be. I sent back a fixture that just didn't fit in my space and the process was easy and straightforward. We moved into a new home, and so it's definitely a place that I will be looking for items in the future.

My son bought a desk from Hayneedle. He's a teenager and it was his first purchase with his first paycheck, so I had to walk him through it. It was very simple, and he was able to manage it by himself. The desk is decent for the price. It was delivered fairly quickly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this company.

Hayneedle does not even deserve one star. I ordered a dresser on September 20, 2016. Upon arrival the dresser was damaged. I contacted Hayneedle and chose to take a store credit and have them send me a second dresser. She told me at that time but if there was a problem with the second dresser it would take 30 days to refund my money. The second dresser was due to be delivered on October 17th. The shipping company contacted me and stated that they would not deliver it because once again it was damaged. They stated that for a 230 pound dresser it should have been palletized and work carefully packaged instead of merely being placed in a cardboard box with some Styrofoam around the edges.
I contacted customer service that day and they instructed me that they would have a check to me within 30 days. After not seeing any credit to my charge card or receiving a check by mid November, I again contacted customer service. The individual that I had spoken to the first time it's no longer available. A customer service rep then instructed me that the check request had not been submitted until the 31st of October and that I should have a check by December 1.
When I receive no credit to my account or check by December 1st, I again contacted customer service. Initially I was told I would have to wait another week, and when I said this was unacceptable the supervisor instructed me that she was trying to get a hold of accounting and that she would get back to me. I made it very clear that I wanted a credit in my account pending by the end of the day. My last contact suggested that they would try to overnight me a check and when I tried to respond via email, the mail was clearly undeliverable. I cannot express my absolute frustration and disdain for this company.

Hayneedle had what I was looking for and I got a sectional from them. It's kind of like a chair with a lounge and ordering it online was easy. However, they didn't charge me for the shipping upfront. I had to wait for the stuff to get delivered. You budget for something that cost a lot of money and then you expect for it to be taken out right when you purchase and Hayneedle don’t. I told them it was insane especially because I just moved across country and starting over somewhere new was really fund depleting. So I wanted stuff out of my account immediately and I did not like their policy which was bizarre. But the quality of the product is great and it was accurate for the price. I'm satisfied and I like that they have versatility in the selections unlike Rooms To Go which has pretty basic and standard designs. I also like that they have the shabby chic or rustic option, but they need more variety.

I ordered a product from Hayneedle which was to be received by Dec 2. I received an email from Hayneedle stating that the order would be delayed with a new delivery of Dec 12. I immediately called to cancel the order and was told the cancellation was a mere request until the manufacturer confirmed the cancellation. I was told the cancellation was a request since the order maybe in the shipping process. Even when I suggested I would forward the email stating the shipment delay I was told the cancellation was a request only. 8 hours later I received an email from Hayneedle, stating the order had shipped. After a lengthy call with Hayneedle, I was told I could refuse shipment and my account would be credited 7-10 business days after the product was received back to them. The delay is unacceptable. I paid via PayPal and will open a dispute with them. Never again will I shop at Hayneedle!

CYBER WEEK EVENT SCAM - This is a perfect example of why no one should shop here. I've had this product in my cart for almost 2 weeks WAITING for cyber Monday... **. It WAS 209.98 BEFORE cyber sale. It's been that price since MARCH 2016. When I went to check the sale today it was still 209.98 but "MARKED DOWN 45% from 378.98". WHAT A SCAM! Hayneedle.com never sold that Desk for that price on their site. I called in to complain and report that the Desk was the same price as last week except it's been marked up for the sale to meet the same price as last week in an attempt to rip people off! They're not offering ANY deal.
The manager I spoke to was Tim. He said they were marking down the furniture by the manufacturer's retail price which he would not disclose the manufacture information so that I can compare prices. How does that even make sense anyway. Hayneedle is giving discounts based on OTHER companies' prices. We all know, that's **. They marked up the prices on their site for the sale. I screenshot the differences. One image was the price before the "Sale" and the other has the "Discounted Price" #HAYNEEDLE. #RIPOFF. #FRAUD.

My mother-in-law told me about Hayneedle. I purchased lamps, a TV stand, a kitchen table and chairs, and toys from them a few months ago. For the most part, the online ordering process was good. I had one slip-up when I went to order something, and I had a 10% off promo code, which didn’t go through but when I called the office, they were wonderful and they took care of it. So far, I feel good about the quality of the products I got. Some of the stuff comes in a lot of pieces and takes a while to put together, but for the most part, it’s great. I love it. Also, I feel like I got what I paid for. Their products have good quality for the price. I’ll definitely continue using their site.

As a gift for my anniversary my husband bought me a London storage futon to complete my guest room remodel. We were excited to see that it shipped out Nov 14th this year with an expected delivery of last Friday. Unfortunately, although the tracker indicated that the item was delivered we've since learned that the futon was never shipped and there is no record of the purchase at the manufacturers. Now the nightmare has begun as we are desperately trying to get this purchase but have been placed on hold several times by Hayneedle with no resolution in sight BUT THEY PROCESSED and TOOK MY MONEY! Now we have been getting the run around for the past 3 days, no end in sight and I still need the item. To say the least this is a disaster! All I want is what I ordered and paid for. My Hayneedle experience is horrible, they take your money and you are left running around hoping for a resolution. Shoppers beware!!

I ordered a TV Stand/Bookshelf. I called a customer service representative because I had a very specific and important question. My question was "Is there assembly required?" She said "yes but very minimal." So I placed the order. When we opened the package, we couldn't believe how many parts there were. There must be over a hundred screws! It came with a 5 page instruction booklet that makes NO sense. If the representative told me the truth, I would've never wasted my money on this shelf. So now I have parts all over the floor, because no human being can follow these ridiculous instructions. So I ask, how is this "minimal assembly"??? Hayneedle should tell their customers the TRUTH!!! I will never order anything from this company again.

I ordered a candy gift basket for a coworker for his birthday. I planned the shipping just right and I was to receive it 2 days before his birthday. However I got an email the day before it was to arrive telling me that the order had been canceled and could not be processed. When I called customer service I was informed this was because some of my bank information did not line up and this was to help against fraud (turns out it was just the phone number I had given...). I can certainly understand that, but my bank account WAS charged.
How is this protecting against fraud if my account was charged? With other companies if there is an issue, you normally get an email right away and the charge never goes through. Now I'm left scrambling to get the product from another vendor and pay an extra 35-50 for overnight shipping (as I would not trust this company to be able to do it), or find something else. I would NOT recommend this company. I can only hope I will get a refund in a timely matter. I'm giving it 2 stars only because customer service was nice, though they should have offered to overnight it for free.

Hayneedle's customer liaison department makes it right and goes the extra mile to make their customer happy. By the time they offering to handle the return shipping on their end, I have already accepted the loss and put the wrong merchandise together. Customer liaison then took the charge off the card and I appreciate their gesture of good faith. My suggestion to them is stopping using the same template to answer their customers' questions. A little bit of caring can go a long way.

Hayneedle sent me a wrong item. Service rep asked me to bring a 100 lb item to local FedEx for return. I refused due to item weight, then they instructed me to schedule for a pickup in a condescending tone. I called FedEx to schedule for a pickup but the tracking number they provided wasn't on record with FedEx. Now, they are charging me return shipping for a second label. Other online companies had sent me wrong items before, but never this much hassle with an attitude. Buy elsewhere. This company isn't worth your time and effort.

I ordered a product from this company FIVE TIMES. All five times the order was canceled and no one can figure out why. Admittedly, the first time was my fault as I gave an incorrect billing address. When I called to correct it, I couldn't get the so-called customer service chick to understand that you can have a billing address and shipping address that are different. She used the shipping address and, of course, it bounced. But the next three times I placed the order it continued to be rejected and no one can figure out why. The last guy I talked to said, "I have seen this before." Really? No one can figure this out? He asked a supervisor or maybe the cleaning lady how to fix it and I was told I would hear in 24 to 48 hours. Not that it would be fixed, not that the product would be shipped. I would hear. The product is something I need by a certain deadline. What a load of crap this is. I am beginning to think they are just gathering credit card info.

I purchased an artificial Christmas tree one night and the next morning called to cancel my order as this item wasn't not scheduled to be delivered for a week. However, when I called to cancel they stated my order was in fulfillment. I asked how can this be when I placed about 8 hours earlier. The representative said she would try to cancel it but if I received it I could return it. I knew returning a large 78 lb tree would be expensive so I emailed several times trying to get them to contact FedEx to have it sent back to them. I was advised to call Fed Ex which I did and was told the package would be returned to sender. Hayneedle also called FedEx as they stated in an email. However, this tree is still showing in FedEx's system as in route to me. I am so frustrated with Hayneedle and was told that I have to pay return shipping regardless. This is ridiculous and I will never order from them again!

We purchased a Hall Tree and two chairs for a kitchen counter from Hayneedle. They look good and both are exactly what I was looking for. Ordering online was easy and very smooth. I also had a coupon, so that helped. We had a problem with one of the chairs. When my husband went to put it together there was a piece that was broken. I got a hold of customer service and I was able to explain it to the woman and she was able to get it through. She put in a work order and they sent out a new piece without any problems, so I was grateful for that.

I missed the part where we had to put it together ourselves because home assembly is required but it's all good. I would definitely recommend them. I ordered a baker's table and white glove delivery. Forget the white glove, they just left it on the curb and the poor FedEx guy had to bring it to my apartment by himself. The unit was damaged and as I started to assemble the top, I realized the parts were too faulty to assemble. So I started the other half which also was unable to be assembled due to problems such as: the cam screws do not fit. Pre drilled holes are not drilled deep enough for the screws provided and just got stuck. The base board just fell off. The dowels do not fit into their slots making them utterly useless and very difficult to work with if the pieces just fall over. The instructions were terribly insufficient, with no instruction at all how to attach the countertop which arrived separately.
Customer service was terrible. The box itself told me to contact the manufacturer for assistance and when I did that, they refused to help me and directed me to another customer service address. After several emails they now want me to go to the store and buy shipping materials and ship the unit back to them but have not confirmed any refund above 15%.
This is a cheap piece of furniture and is overpriced even with that being said. Service = bad. Should have taken me 1 day to assemble and ended up being over a week of sorting through dozens of faulty pieces littering my apartment and playing email tag once a day with the customer service person. Please do yourself a favor, and for shop here. It will save you a migraine. They should really just shut down until they figure out how to make furniture that works and stop screwing over hard working people who don't have time to deal with this.

I am not happy with ordering from Hayneedle and I won't order from here again. I am super dissatisfied with my order. I ordered an 8in Full gel memory foam mattress and it came in about 10 days. I opened it up and let it breathe and I noticed after an hour that there was this dent that ran right in the middle of the mattress from top to bottom vertically that never rose into place. I slept on it the same night and woke up with my back hurting so I knew that something wasn't right. So I contacted Hayneedle and told them that I have received a mattress that was manufactured wrong. The lady told me to email her a few photos so I did and she told me that I could throw that mattress away because it was manufactured incorrectly. Then she emailed me telling me that they are sending me a new one.
I emailed asking her when would it be shipped and arriving and I got nothing. A few days later I called and I talked to another lady and she told me that the mattress should be arriving in 10 days and I was annoyed because they didn't even offer to send it ASAP. So I patiently waited the 10 days and I received the mattress today. IT WAS THE WRONG HEIGHT!!! They sent me a 6in mattress instead of my 8in mattress!!! Now I have to wait for my mattress again and I'm pissed off. Not dealing with this company ever again. I'll tell you that!

I have had a the worst customer service experience with Hayneedle. First off, I received a sectional and fire pit. The fire pit was missing the instructions and hardware to put it together. After multiple days, I was directed to the manufacturer of the sectional instead of the fire pit (time wasted #1). Then I wrote back again and was told that you will not give me the manufacturer of the fire pit for me to contact directly (time waster #2). Then I had to call you multiple times and be put on hold (I would guess I spent about 4 hours on the phone with the customer service department). I finally found 1 competent customer service representative. He contacted the manufacturer who would not send hardware, so I had to do an entire replacement. I have received my replacement and tried to start the fire pit this past weekend since it has been cold enough and we just got a propane tank. The propane tank will not light with the ignitor.
We have had multiple people look at it and the instructions are not working. I am trying to see if it is defective. I contacted customer service again and got the answer that a full replacement has already taken place. Yes, I did get a replacement and it is not working. PLUS it came in scratched (which I didn't even complain about). I am BEYOND frustrated.

I ordered a bedroom set back in early July. I have been given 7 different delivery dates. As each one approached they said they were sorry but it would be the next time they gave (over and over). I was told they were finishing the nightstands and the delivery would be here soon. When the final e-mail came telling me the order was on its way, they didn't list the nightstands. They are on back order. So today (Sept 23) the furniture arrived and when the men unpacked the headboard it was badly damaged. I refused the order because I know they tell lies and would promise me a new bed soon and it would not happen.
The whole experience was horrible. I was promised "white glove" delivery which they would pay for since I had been promised so many times and nothing happened, but then I was told I needed to pay for it as it was not included when I got the email saying the furniture was on its way. They were willing to give me a 10% discount for all of the missteps, but the whole thing was a bummer experience and I would not recommend them to anyone. Liberty Furniture had a very small amount of styrofoam in the box with the headboard - who does that? It was very easily damaged. I am fed up.

There was a little issue with the payment going through twice, but Hayneedle was on top of it. SO I ordered a bench from Hayneedle, and before receiving my item I called in and asked if I can return/stop shipment. Turns out that in order to return anything back to them, they will give you the refund...but subtract about $50 for "shipping". Are you kidding me? No decent retailer nowadays would come close to that. Keeping the item since I don't want to throw away $50 and half the item's worth.... but I am NEVER shopping with Hayneedle again. EVER!!!!

I heard so many negative things about missing parts, double charging, customer service issues, inaccurate delivery tracking...so, I was very concerned. I'm happy to say that I had none of those issues and I LOVE my purchases. Everything is high quality, just as described/pictured, got here when they said it would, and my credit card only got one charge. This is the first review I have ever written online for anything because I wanted to express how disappointed I am with Hayneedle processes and customer service - comparable to a third world country of business processes dysfunction. Three weeks ago I placed an order on the Hayneedle website for a gym equipment and a mattress - my first attempt at ordering these two products. Three days later I receive an email from the company informing me that my order has been cancelled because of "security" issues with my credit card information.
I call customer service on that day to get more information about the order cancellation. The customer rep that I spoke to went over my address, phone number and email address to find out where the mismatch of information may have occurred. I suggested to her that I use two different email addresses and the one that corresponds with the credit card company was my gmail account which I provided to her. She stated that she will give the information to the accounting department and that I would be contacted with further details about the status of my order.
Three days later I call customer service again because I had not heard from anyone about the status of my order. The rep I talk to informs that there is no record of me ever calling to change my email address, and made a comment about the rep I spoke to three days ago may have not completely processed my request to change my email address - a human mistake of not pressing the "submit" button. At this point she suggests that she will fix my email address and send the information to accounting department. Again, I do not hear from the company for three days, so I contact them for the third time. The third rep I talk to in a span of 12 days suggests that I should just reorder both products to reduce confusion.
I am a believer of second chances, and sometimes ** happens. So, here I am two weeks later ordering the same products because of a tangled web of computer system miscommunication and consistent human errors and mistakes. A week after I reorder the products. I call the company again to check on the status of the order, as I had not received any notice in my email about any updates on shipping, handling etc. The rep informs that my order is on "HOLD" and she has to look into it to get clarification.
At this point, feeling beyond frustrated I ask to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor named Melissa, explains to me that the order is holding because of a credit card information mishap, and she states that the next day she will have accounting department manually enter my credit card information because according to their "automated security" credit card system, my information is not matching and it's holding up my order. I explained to Melissa that I have used the card MULTIPLE times for other website for at least a year. In fact a week ago, I had ordered a bed frame from Wayfair with that same card, and literally received it in my doorstep in 5 business days (with FREE shipping). I said to her perhaps the company needs to look into the glitches and re-evaluate their "security credit card" system that may be causing issues. She states, "There is nothing wrong with our computer system!!!"
First of all Melissa, you sound arrogant when you make a statement of that nature! Second of all, with one comment you basically completely dismissed my concerns and horrible experience as your first time customer who just made a $900 purchase on your website, that by the way is paying for your salary! Third of all, Customer Service 101 - acknowledge the customer's concerns and perhaps say something more productive and positive such as, "We will look into our security system to find out if perhaps we have a problem here", because according to ConsumerAffairs website reviews, my dear Melissa your company has a lot of issues that you perhaps need to look into! Best thing I did was cancel the order, and moved on to Wayfair who has their ** together!

I ordered a Chic Home Quincy Comforter but I received a Chic Home Euphoria Comforter which is a lot cheaper. When I placed the order, I was told it wouldn't get shipped until a month later but it came sooner than expected without any notice. The comforter had been outside in the rain for two days until I decided to take the garbage out and realized it was the comforter. Once I opened it, I realized they sent the wrong comforter. I called and talked to a customer service rep which was no help and then I spoken with a supervisor who agreed to refund me the difference in totals. To my surprised, I did receive my refund, maybe because it was only $31.00. The entire ordeal is very disappointing. My heart was set on one comforter and got another. Will not order from Hayneedle ever again.

If I could give no stars I would. I never write reviews but I am so frustrated with Hayneedle that I felt they deserve a bad review. The day before I was supposed to receive the canopy (7/26) I purchased from Hayneedle, I got an email saying it wouldn't be shipped for another month (9/1) because it was on backorder, so I called to cancel the order that day. About one week later I got an email saying my order had been shipped so I immediately emailed back saying that the order was cancelled and that I no longer wanted the item. This was a huge inconvenience because I no longer work at the address where the canopy was sent to and I cannot transport it easily. I was told that I needed to pay for the shipping back to Hayneedle, which is ridiculous, and then they said "Pay half", I said "no", and then they finally agreed to comp the shipping payment.
After much back and forth, they sent me the FedEx prepaid shipping label but in the email they said it was to return a cat litter box and that I would be reimbursed $144.95. I emailed back saying this was not what I had ordered and then they apparently got confused and didn't know that they had wrote that to me. I just want to make sure that I will be reimbursed the total cost of the canopy before it is sent back - $376.02. I am still emailing with them now, and they are trying to tell me that the subtotal of $339.99 will be reimbursed, not the full amount. WHAT?! This mistake of sending the canopy even after it was cancelled could have been dealt with much better. For one, I should not have been asked to pay for the shipping back, as this was their fault, not mine, and being passed around to four different people was very frustrating because they had no idea what was going on. Do not buy from Hayneedle or you will regret it!

I purchased a bed frame for a twin bed. The wood beam that supports the mattress broke the first time I used it. It was jarring, to say the least. When I contacted Hayneedle with extensive pictures of the broken item, they told me I had to package the frame and send it back to get a store credit. So after going to the trouble of assembling the bed; and then experiencing it break underneath me; and taking the bed back apart; they want me to buy boxes and ship the thing back, just so I can get a store credit. The last time I ordered something from them - a hammock stand - they sent me the wrong color. I no longer have faith in this company or their products, and I'm appalled at the horrible customer service.

Every time I place an order, AFTER the fact, it suddenly shows a later expected ship date, even if I paid for faster shipping. Upon calling you get the runaround, different answers from different representatives. If you decide to cancel because you need the item sooner, then they tell you it is about to ship when it clearly says "backordered" or "delayed" or a ship date far in the future. If you call back another rep will agree to cancel order but then you will down the road get a ship notice anyway. You can't trust the ship notice because it usually says "label created" and is not actually shipped.
I called FedEx and they told me they never got the shipment, but Hayneedle said it was scanned and about to be delivered. They lie, and supervisors are no help. I wouldn't mind if this was one incident but it is EVERY time, no matter what I order. They also charge your account twice, and supposedly the second charge is just a test and will drop off which is another ridiculous thing, especially if you're already been doing business with them. I've also had seemingly nice, helpful representatives who give me their direct number and email for future follow up, who then completely ignore my requests. I do not recommend them.

I haven't received the chairs yet. They are on the way. The total was $683.28 which is a good price for 3 polywood chairs. The complication came when the next day after when I noticed that the full amount was charged and appeared as pending from the previous day as expected and another pending charge of $683.29 also showed as today. These two separate transactions and pending charged removed a total of $1366.57 from my account.
When I contacted Hayneedle and spoke to a supervisor. She explained that they take an additional security hold and that the second amount should be released in 3-4 business days. So for a few days, you will be charged double the amount of your purchase and those funds will not be available for you to use elsewhere. The supervisor was clear that they do business that way and that I should just deal with it. After dealing with it, I recommend Wayfair or any other company that I've purchased from who doesn't play games with your money.

I researched for days all the patio boxes that would accommodate our new set of chair cushions and decided on item #HMS946-1 Home Styles Montego Bay 51 in. 40 Gallon Deck Box 51.25L x 19.7W x 17.75H in. When we got it put together we realized it was NOT in fact 17.75" high. It's actually about 13"!! Do not buy this item if you need 17" high box. I am extremely disappointed and now that it is put together we have no choice but to keep it. We cannot even push the cushions down to fit in. The lid does not close so we have to put weights on it to keep it shut. Also we put the lid on with the hinges and the first time we closed it w/o anything in it ALL of the screws of all 3 hinges pulled right out of the wood. Poor quality item for the price!!
