We've been Hayneedle customers for six years now. We got from them a little chest of drawers we have by our door and a jewelry chest and the quality is good. I knew what I wanted and I just searched it and their site had them. Ordering was easy and the price was fair. In all my encounters, Hayneedle fulfilled its obligations so it was a good experience for me.

I needed a greenhouse because the weather forecast for winter was awful and my husband was trying to put up plastics, and they looked awful. So, I went online and asked for some portable greenhouses. Hayneedle came up along with some others and their portable greenhouse was appealing so I bought it. Once I clicked on the item in the list from various places, the system asked if I wanted to buy it and I said yes. The site took me to fill in my information and my payment information so the process was very nice and easy.
The price also seemed good and it was in line with the cost of similar products that other people had. The cost made sense to me and the greenhouse came out as I expected. I like that they have the updates too. Not everybody does the option where you can track your stuff. With Hayneedle, I could see when the order is showing up so that's great. The instructions to put the item up could have been a little bit better but that’s from whoever manufactured the product.

Hayneedle is now owned by Walmart. Recently I ordered a large rug online from Walmart through Hayneedle. Before ordering I contacted Hayneedle to ask if I could return through Walmart... to a store. I was assured that if the order processed through WM... Which it did, I could return it. I decided to return it but all the paperwork that came with it indicated that it would only be returnable through Hayneedle. I called customer service, explained my problem. They refused to either let me return it through WM or allow me to return it without charging me a return fee. They issued me a return label and a day later, I cannot print it due to "system maintenance". Deceitful and unprofessional. Please be aware that what they say is not to be trusted.

I found the picture of a propane fire pit online at Hayneedle and I liked the design. It had a fair price, too. The online ordering experience was easy and typical like everything else. I added it to my cart and sent my credit card information. The quality of the product was good and the shipping came out fast. It came in a few days, which I thought would take at least a week.

I did a Google search on the type of stools I was looking for and Hayneedle just came up. I had never heard of them prior to that. Their website was very easy to use and I bought some upholstered counter stools for the kitchen. They were the ones that I was looking for exactly and Hayneedle is the only one that has the exact style that I wanted. The quality is very good and the cost is about right. I had a positive experience with this company.

I purchased two torch lamps in August 2016. Received them 9/2016. I paid $600 for two. Shipping and delivery was ok. The quality of the lamps were not what I expected and I posted my opinion on their site a year ago. 5 months ago one light stopped working but I didn't complain because I thought the one might be defective. Last night the other stopped working.
I called Hayneedle and they said warranty was expired which is understandable (wish I had called in the first defective one). I called Light Source and they acknowledged they had issues with a regulator so now I know I have two defective lamps. They are sending me new regulators, but I am going to need an electrician come to change them. I went on to the Hayneedle website and the lamps were still for sale. I let customer service know that they have issues and how annoyed I was that they were selling defective lamps but all they could say was we will let sales know. I would have expected something better from them.

My first Hayneedle product was a keepsake box that I bought four years ago. I was looking for one and I saw it in their website. I have never been there before. The item looked good and it was reasonably priced. So I ordered it and I’ve been pleased with it ever since. That’s why we went to Hayneedle the second time and were as pleased with our second purchase as we were with our first. The first purchase was finished. The second purchase, we wanted to stain it ourselves because we wanted to match a table we had purchased without chairs. We weren’t able to purchase chairs online in other venues that were unfinished. So when we saw Hayneedle, it really fit our needs.
And ordering from them is very easy. I just go to their site and find what I want. Their website’s as good as most online ordering websites are but I found it easier than a lot of them to navigate. They have a search box that tells you what you’re searching for. And then it brings up the products that they have along with a good description of each. We then had to assemble the furniture once we received it. The instructions were good and easy to follow. The assembly went well, all the parts were there and they fit. When we got it together, the product was a pretty piece of furniture. We’ve already had people come in to the home and remark about the price. We told them we got it from Hayneedle. We recommended them and would again.

We ordered a bunk bed for my kids for Christmas through Hayneedle. I waited for my kids to fall asleep (in my bed) on Christmas Eve and began building the bed. At about 1 am I discovered the head and foot boards to the top bunk weren't delivered. The next day I called and emailed saying I needed replacement parts as well as my disappointment that my children wouldn't have their big Christmas present from Santa. The day after Christmas they responded saying they would refund us 10% and get a new part sent out asap.
It is now 3 weeks later and we got an email saying the distributor would not ship out the part. Our option are either an extra 30% refund and we can try to "get it repaired locally" or they would send return slips and we could package the whole thing back up and return it for full refund. Meanwhile, my kids have not been able to use their bedroom because there is a half built bunkbed covering the floor for 3 weeks.
Also returning the items is not possible for us because we threw out the boxes (because they said they would just ship the missing pieces) and because we dont have a vehicle large enough to transport the materials. This whole situation is unacceptable. My kids STILL do not have their Christmas present. My kids STILL are unable to use their bedroom. But worst of all Hayneedle puts all the responsibility to fix the situation on the consumer. Pathetic.

My husband likes individual companies. And he would rather go to a company like Hayneedle than go with Amazon. He was looking for a specific item and he found it in Hayneedle. And he bought it for me. He was extremely pleased with Hayneedle's service. Their customer service rep sent us some emails saying that his order was completed and another email saying it had been shipped. Their products were all just as presented on their webpage. The pictures were represented well for what my husband was looking for. And the description matched the product. And when we received it, we got it in a timely manner. Also, it was supposed to be back ordered for one day and it ended up getting here a day earlier than what he thought it was going to.

I ordered an Air hockey Table for my 8 year old son for Christmas on 12/9/2017, and was told it would arrive by 12/19/17. Sadly it never arrived, so after contacting the customer service dept. on 12/21/17, I was initially advised to go shopping for something else because it looks like the item was lost during shipping. I was furious with that response so requested to speak to a manager. A woman known as Bre took my call and did apologize for the problem and attempted to make good by promising to ship me an additional lower priced table OVERNIGHT in order for my little boy to have something to enjoy on 12/26/2017 while they figure out where my original order was. Reluctantly I agreed because she promised it will be on my porch on 12/26. (She also promised me that she would call me back with an update on the initial order after Christmas once she figures out what happened.)
Since this was the one and only item he asked Santa to bring him, we typed up an apology letter with a picture of the table for him to open on Christmas morning. This poor little boy paced all day long on 12/26 hoping that Santa was not gonna let him down again... Needless to say he still as of 1/3/2018 DOES NOT have his air hockey table. I have called Hayneedle multiple times trying to reach Bre and she will not take my call or return my call. I spoke to another woman on 12/30/17 and she was shocked by the string of errors that had occurred and she again promised to get another table shipped overnight, and advised me that someone would be contacting me on 1/2/18 with an update, and when she gets into work on 1/3/18 she too would contact me.
Well it is now 8:25pm on 1/3/2018 and I received no calls, and I once again had to call Hayneedle to see why I DO NOT have a table yet and why no one has contacted me. After 47 minutes on the phone with a supervisor she stated that she will look further into the matter and have more answers for me by 1/4/2018. I have never in all my life encountered such poor and dysfunctional customer service like I have with Hayneedle. I really wonder if this is a legitimate company?

On 12/30/17 we placed an online order via Walmart. Walmart elected to supply the product via Hayneedle. The purchase order confirmation arrived on a Walmart email the same day. The estimated delivery date was January 18th, 2018. On January 2, 2018, I advised Walmart online to cancel the order as we had learned the items would not work for our application. Since the delivery date was January 18th, 2018, cancellation should have been easy. Hayneedle replied on January 2, 2018, that the order was now with their fulfillment department, and might not be able to be cancelled. I advised Hayneedle once again in strong words to cancel the order. At about 2:30 a.m. on the morning of January 3rd, 2018, Hayneedle sent an email, and claims to have shipped the order. They have provided a FedEx tracking number, BUT the estimated delivery date is still January 18th. It does not take 16 days for a small package to travel across the USA.
Hayneedle, in my opinion, issued the shipment document in order to avoid cancelling the order. I hold Hayneedle and Walmart both responsible for this less than stellar customer service. I purchased via Walmart expecting Walmart to back-up their partners. Walmart's email says "all issues must be addressed with their partner, and nothing can be returned to Walmart if supplied by Hayneedle". Buyer beware! I have once again advised Hayneedle to cancel the order as I am positive it has not actually left their facility. I will in the future avoid online orders using Hayneedle, and I suggest everyone else do the same unless you wish to be treated dishonestly.

My wife and I bought 4 chairs and 3 bench stools from Hayneedle back in April. The wood where you put your feet on the stools has already broken on two stools. Please keep in mind we only used these since about June or so because we just had finished the kitchen. I called today 1-3-18 to ask what they could do for me and the lady was rude first to my wife then I was on hold over and over. The final answer was they only cover it for the first 30 days; she said she called the supplier and they can't do anything either as they no longer make the stools. I asked for their information and she wouldn't give it to me. All in all the worst customer service I have ever seen and will never buy from here again... I attached pictures to show that we didn't even really use the stools much and where the screw just broke away. Very sad. Again, stay away. They do not back anything...

The product that Hayneedle sent us was all broken up into little pieces. FedEx delivered it and we opened it up and it was made of cheap Balsa wood. Hayneedle didn’t describe that when you order it online but most of it was chipped up and you couldn’t even put it together so we sent it back. And then, I ordered something from them a while ago and that was the cheapest thing. It was my little buggy that I go to the store with but it fell apart in two days with the little plastic wheels. I should have gone to Walmart and got it. They’re also overpriced. I'm not ordering from Hayneedle again. The products they deliver are a piece of crap.

I have a problem with your company. I purchased a Keter 213039 Factor 8x6 ft. Storage shed last Friday 12/15/17. Your item #KNAO48 from your outlet store. I found the unit in the store. It had one price on it and it was a green label. I asked a young man if that was both boxes on the floor and he said yes. I went out and rented a truck to pick up. I showed up and paid for the storage shed. When they were loading into the truck. They stopped and said I had to pay double because there were two boxes. The boxes stated 1/2 and 2/2. They said you sold each box separately. Who buys a half a shed or better yet why would you sell a half of unit. I hope you make this right by selling me this unit complete at the price I paid.

Ordered a buffet. We had to make the appt with them 3 times and still never showed up. Every time we called them they never know what going on or where it was at. When we finally received it the box is torn and all busted up. I'm not very happy person right now.

We ordered a desk for our daughter for Christmas 2017. The desk was suppose to be delivered on 12/20/2017. Now the company says that it will not be delivered until Jan 5. So our daughter had nothing for Christmas. We have called the company twice and they say there is nothing they can do. They can offer no discount and will not even expedite the shipping. Had we known this, we would have looked for a different desk. We will never order from this company again.

On 12.11.17 I placed a purchase order for a Gas/Charcoal/smoker grill (nothing cheap btw) in Hayneedle.com. Confirmation advised to be delivered on 12.22.17 between 10 am and 2 pm. Never receive it and never got any kind of notification/explanation to let me know what was happening. On 12.23.17 I sent an email requesting some updates about item. On 12.26.17 I received an answer, apologizing and saying that I will be contacted between 24/48 hours to get some information. On 12.27.17 someone left a voicemail telling me that someone will contact me by phone to reschedule the delivering. Nothing yet. The item so expected was a Christmas gift. Obviously it is not anymore because Christmas was 3 days ago. Shame that they are playing with people money, time and expectations.

I ordered a comforter that looked great on the Hayneedle website. However, when I received the comforter in the mail I got what appears to be a cheap import that is way overpriced. Not only is it made with cheap material it not well made. It's also priced about $50 higher than it should be. I can only guess they assume on customers not following through with returns because of the out of pocket cost.

Ordered a product on the 25th of Dec. Confirmation advised to be delivered by Dec 29. On the 26th received an email advising the order had been cancelled due to security concerns. I called and since our mailing address was different than delivery address the automated system cancelled the order. Okay, I understand automation. I called and verified all info and was advised it would have to be authorized manually and I would receive an confirmation email on the 26th. I didn't, called on the 27th and was advised order again cancelled due to being delivered to a marina. This is a permanent residence, I receive medication deliveries via USPS, I receive FedEx and UPS deliveries. They do not deliver to mobile home parks or marinas!!!

We got the dog house from Hayneedle. Ordering from them was very easy. I called and somebody just walked me through it. They took care of order and they shipped it on time. It was a good experience. Everything was smooth and it nicely happened.

The staining on the legs to the mirror is uneven and has a circle of stain in more than one spot. The wood around the mirror is dented. The wood that holds the legs is dented. Overall poor quality. I want to return the mirror and I don't want a replacement. I want a REFUND!

Ordered item on December 14 for a Christmas gift. Did not come by December 23 so I called in panic. The lady looked it up and said like it was a normal thing. Oh we didn't have it so we were supposed to tell you we canceled the order... I had no notice... She said they had the item now... I asked for a fast ship to be told someone would look at the order on Tuesday and let me know... I told her to cancel the order and my daughter will not get the gift on Christmas... Not a company I will ever trust again!!!

So I ordered a gaming chair as a Christmas present on Dec. 19th, paid extra for priority shipping so it could be shipped and arrive right before Christmas. All in all it costed me nearly $400. On the 20th, (Thursday) Hayneedle cancelled the order. The money still has not been refunded to me and it being a weekend with Christmas on a Monday, there's no way I'm getting the money back before Christmas. I called and asked them why it was cancelled and they told me that there was a problem on their end verifying the order. I asked if there was any way it could be fixed and shipped and the lady seemed clueless on what to give me for an answer, instead giving me long-winded babbles with no straightforward answer in it. She tried telling me that they did everything they could and did not care that they pretty much screwed me for Christmas. Unsympathetic company that seems to like to take your money instantly but not like to rightfully refund it.

I ordered a knife case for a Christmas gift from this company because of it arriving on Thursday before Christmas. When Thursday came and went with no shipping confirmation, I called the company. They called the vendor and said would send me an email when they got a response. I called the next morning again, with no response, and was told they would send another email. Later that day I received an email saying the item was backorder until the end of January. Why would their website say I would have it on December 21st when it is back ordered until January. The only gift that I have ordered and not received was from this company. Ridiculous. Asked to cancel the order and waiting on a response. I will never order from this company again.

My daughter-in-law found Hayneedle. They had a lot of nice things on the site and I'd look through it again. She also found the first desk. She ordered it and had it delivered here. For the second desk, I was the one who did it. The desks came 10 days from the time they were ordered.

I ordered a small dog house from their site and what I got was a dog house door for $25. I called them and the rep said "oh that happens a lot". I told her it was on their question form, the same exact questions. I said, "What can I do?" She said under options I could order the house that fits the door! They want $105 for the small plastic house. I asked for a refund. I sent them the door back. They gave me $16 back of the $25 it cost me. I will never do business with them again. Thank you.

I contacted customer service prior to ordering two nightstands to details regarding what would happen should the color not match the furniture currently in the room or the picture shown and what fees would be charged to return. I was told the nightstands were the exact same as the picture shown and it would be small minimal fee that would be deducted from the refund and they would send a return label to the email provided once they were notified of the return, which I found to be okay. Sure enough after receiving the nightstands they were much, much lighter than the picture. I called to request the return label and was told $50 would be the cost of the return, however it would be my responsibility to carry them to a local FedEx center or it would be a charge of least $360 charged to my credit card to have FedEx pick them up. First of all this is more than I paid for nightstands altogether and secondly I have no means to get them to the nearest center.
When I asked to speak with a supervisor, after being placed on hold for 8 minutes (which is long time when you're holding a phone). I was told she just stepped out and would not be available to speak with me. I asked if there was someone else to speak with, I was told no, she would be the only person to handle this matter regardless of the day or time I called. I asked for a corporate office contact and was told they were unable to provide any corporate office information. When I asked for her full name, she stated they were not allowed to provide that much personal information to customers, however she was allowed to provide her telephone extension, which when called don't exist. The young lady finally provide a number while laughing with her co-workers in the background that tells you to contact customer. In January my company are making major purchases for several of our offices, however after terrible experience it will not be Hayneedle!!

A couple of months ago, I bought a Savannah Mantel Shelf from Hayneedle. I decided to purchase it because it was in stock and it was cheaper than the other places. I used some coupons to order it and it was easy. It was as good as any online experience I’ve had lately. The quality of the mantel is good and I’m happy with it. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this company. Go ahead and use them. They’re cheaper than trying to buy local.

I ordered a child's chair from Hayneedle - first time ordering from them. I ordered it 3 weeks before Christmas & was told it would arrive by 12/20. It's now 12/21 & it hasn't even shipped yet. I called customer service & was told that they would put in a request to have it urgently shipped, but it would be at least 2 business days. Well, since Christmas is on Monday, that puts it after Christmas day. Very unhappy. Will not order from them again!!

Hayneedle has a large selection and a lot of reviews. I purchased the Corinthian Bells 44 inch wind chime a month ago which was highly rated and had good reviews. It looked good and I also liked that one could look into the wind chime and get a recording. It was going to be a Christmas gift and it came in quickly. I was satisfied overall.

We purchased six dining room chairs. We were very satisfied with the look of the chairs but only the second time we used them, the back leg of one of the chair snapped and our guest went tumbling to the floor. Fortunately, they were not injured. We are now afraid of these chairs. Hayneedle was unwilling to stand behind the chairs and referred me to the manufacturer. I spoke with the maker of the chairs and they were willing to help me but because the charge went through Hayneedle it needed to be coordinated. Both the manufacturer and I contacted Hayneedle and we got nowhere. Not even a response. Terrible situation!

I ordered a bathroom vanity at the beginning of November, when I placed the order online it said the vanity would be delivered by FedEx within a week. I received an email after saying it was being sent by a shipping company. 3 weeks later I called Hayneedle to find out where it was because the shipper said they didn't have it and I hadn't heard anything from anyone. Hayneedle finally told me that the shipper did in fact have it and it would take another 2 weeks to get to me, so I told Hayneedle to cancel the order. The shipper contacted me again to find out when they could pick up my return... they never delivered it so they should have know that they still had it. As of today, Dec 20, Hayneedle still hasn't refunded my credit card. This is a sketchy company that has no idea what they're doing and I feel that if I don't continue to call and pester them about my refund that I will never get it because they're completely clueless.

Within the last year, I’ve ordered bar stool, coffee table and mirror from Hayneedle but the first item I ordered was a cocktail table. I purchased from them because of their price and the items looked nice. Their representatives were there when I needed something and it was easy to order the items. But what I liked best was the quick delivery which took less than two days. The coffee table was all solid wood for it was much more expensive while the wood of the stools was fine. The cushioning is where I found an issue with but so far, I’m pretty satisfied.

I ordered a coop for chickens from Hayneedle and it was easy. The process was automated and it didn’t force me into saving any information, so it was user-friendly as far as for the protection of information which was nice. But, the coop needed to have additional detail as to its usability from an outdoor standpoint. When we received it, the information that we got indicated that it wasn’t appropriate for outdoor use which by virtue of being a chicken coop you would hope it would be. We contacted customer service, spoke with a representative and they shipped replacement parts no questions asked. They were easy to get a hold of, polite and concerned. I did order a bed frame on 12.04.2017 and it should be delivered by 12.12.2017 - on 12.14.2017 it was still showing “label created”. It did not move at all for 10 days. The worst part is: I have company coming on the 12.15.2017 and now my guest have to sleep on a mattress that’s on the floor. I’m very disappointed. Canceled my order.

The white glider I bought from Hayneedle is solid wood. It was also on sale and they offered free shipping. However, it doesn't glide very well. The installation said 30 minutes, but it took us 3 hours to put together. I contacted Hayneedle because of the level of difficulty, and the person that was on the end couldn't help me with the instructions. There were only four steps and in step number two, there were three things that we were supposed to do. We had only done two of them and by the time we got to the bottom, we were looking for where the braces go. Then we looked and learned that it was step number two, so we had to back out all the hardware and put them all back in.
In the process of putting it back in, the wood was stripped. We had to go and get a different hardware that was longer in order to allow it to stick. My husband doesn't work locally, so when he gets home, I'm going to see if he has the strength to attach the one piece a little bit better since I'm worried that it's not supported as it should be. Overall, I was pleased with how Hayneedle handled everything and I would tell friends that it was easy to use. I would also probably purchase things from them in the future, though I would look more at reviews beforehand as far as the product.

I was doing some online shopping for the rocking chair we were purchasing. I saw Hayneedle and I liked the style of what they had online so I purchased it and the website was easy to use. Hayneedle had a lot of options and I chose the rocking chair. That one was the best for me. It's perfect for a tight area and I liked that it was all wood and had cushions. The overall design of it was nice. We had it shipped and it arrived with no damage. It was exactly what I was looking at online and so far, it’s been working great. I would recommend Hayneedle and I'd tell others that if they are looking for anything in particular, they're selling furniture and home decor so they should check the place out.

I ordered an electric outdoor heater - I received the heater a week before Thanksgiving. When I open the box and the envelop, with the instructions and parts, some of the parts were missing (4 M4 nuts). I called customer service and was told the missing nuts would be ordered and I should receive them in a couple of weeks. Also I would receive an email when the item was shipped. I did not receive the parts after two weeks, so I called customer service again and I was told replacement parts could not be shipped.
I spoke with a supervisor and he was a little short with me and told me the item was shipped from China and Hayneedle does not ship replacement parts. This did not set well with me, so I called again the next day and a young lady name Jessica, who was so polite and courteous confirmed that the parts could not be shipped. Jessica also told me I could receive a discount for the missing parts, and she had my account credited. The supervisor never told me this, he just simple kinda brush me aside and told me the company does not ship replacement parts. Just want to thank Jessica for her time, patience and professionalism.

I ordered a dining table on Nov 23rd 2017 and when I was booking the order it was saying estimated delivery on 28 Nov. When I received a confirmation email it said Dec 1st. I was fine for the 3 day delay. I stayed Home and waited for package but received nothing and in the evening I received an automated call that delivery cannot happen till Dec 5th and I need to confirm that, So I did confirm and called Hayneedle that what’s up with the package and got a response that wait till Dec 5th and you will get it. I waited again on 5th and nothing. So I call them again and ask what is wrong. I stayed home 2 times for the order still nothing and they were like, “We can’t do anything with this. You need to wait for a call that will schedule your delivery”, So I wrote them a nasty email on the whole situation and someone responded that, “We will take care of it.”
I told them that, “I am leaving for a vacation on 15th and I need it before that so give me my package for which I paid before I leave,” I receive another call on Dec 7th confirming delivery on Dec 11th which is today and I again agreed for it and stayed home. As they have been lying on my face I decided to call them in the morning myself as "DON’T EXPECT THEM TO CALL YOU AT ALL". Again Same situation no idea when delivery would happen. So I was talking to this rep and told him to cancel as I don’t trust that it can get delivered before my vacation and the first response was as It has been scheduled for shipment it cannot be cancelled which compelled me to lose my composure and demand a supervisor who told me that if they cannot get it delivered today they will cancel it.
So I waited for the whole day for a call back which never happens as they don’t call you back at all and finally called them and got the delivery cancelled. They made me stay home 3 times and did not deliver at all. Will never shop here again. Also won’t recommend to anyone. There were quite a lot of deals during Thanksgiving where I could have got a good discount but because of this fiasco I definitely lose some money, peace of mind and of course hours of time I spent on phone with them. I felt this was a harassment.

Hayneedle had a cheaper price. We saw what we liked so we went there and got it. Ordering online was easy and simple. I purchased the coffee table a month ago and it was shipped in less than five business days. Hayneedle worked well for me.

I ordered a buffet table from Hayneedle and after hours of putting the table together we saw that the remaining piece was cracked. I’ve now spent over a month dealing with their customer service department promising me that a replacement piece would be shipped. Today, I received a phone call stating they are unable to send me the replacement piece and will either give me 40% off or have me send the table back for a full refund. This means we would have to spend many more hours taking the entire table apart and boxing it up in order to get a full refund. The discount does no good as the table is not useable since it is the table top piece that is damaged.
The other offer was to send me an entire new furniture piece which again means more hours of labor of putting together a new table and taking down the old table as they require that the broken table needs to be returned. I find it interesting that a new table can be shipped, but one replacement part is not available. I suggested that the replacement table be sent to the corporate office and the replacement piece that I need could be pulled and shipped to me; however, that was declined and they said they are only willing to send a new table and I can sort through the box, find the piece I need, and put the broken piece in there and ship that back. Awful customer service with no true resolution other than me getting stuck sorting through a box to find the replacement piece that I need. The sad thing is the furniture piece is lovely, but doubtful that I will ever order from this company again.

Also, I received a phone call from the office of the CEO for FedEx, who personally apologized for what happened. Although it was extremely stressful and I was inconvenienced, Hayneedle made things right.

I ordered a nice recliner from Hayneedle on 12/05/17. Hayneedle sent me an email with the tracking #, and an initial delivery date of Dec 12. I was then sent a second email from Hayneedle to let me know it would be delivered 12/8/17. I tracked the package through FedEx, the company Hayneedle used to ship my recliner. FedEx received my recliner on 12/07/17 at 10:30 pm. It showed as package scanned, on the truck, and out for delivery on 12/08/17 from my local facility. I never received it, after waiting at home all day. Same thing happened on 12/09/17. When I called FedEx customer service, I was told "you should receive it today before 8 pm," BOTH days I called.
I called back last night and asked for a regional manager. She said it should have been delivered on 12/08/17. She assured me I would receive it before 8 pm 12/10/17. She attempted to phone the local facility, and the dispatch, but no one answered (or so she said). It never came! She also let me know FedEx does not deliver on Sundays. Now I am waiting another 2 days for it to be delivered. This is a large package that I do not just want left on the porch for someone to see/steal. I believe I also have to sign for it. HUGE inconvenience. The FedEx facility is less than 10 min from my house, WHY haven't I received my package? This is unacceptable. I was lied to by FedEx, and I cannot keep waiting around for a package that's never going to come. I will be calling Hayneedle first thing in the am tomorrow to cancel my order, and go through another company who DOES NOT USE FEDEX. Terrible customer service.

I have purchased from Hayneedle many times in the past year and at least 1/3 of the time I have major quality issues. Either items are missing, broken or don't fit together properly. They are responsive and often credit me for the items promptly, but it is a labor intensive exercise to deal with them on the phone, return and reorder merchandise and keep on top of credit card refunds, especially after spending hours assembling poorly made items. They also play games with 'rewards points'. They give them and rescind them according to some mysterious formula. It's wacky. My major issue is quality, and that will send me back to Amazon or Wayfair.

Called customer service. They said they have no way of contacting whoever is in charge shipping parts, so they have no idea when I'll get the piece I need. We have placed 8 separate order orders, all of which have been canceled by them for no reason other than "authorization problems". So the first time they suggested that I call my credit card company (Amex) to make sure that all of my info was correct - which of course it was because we've been using our Amex card for YEARS.
Upon calling Amex they too said that there is no problem and that the orders are being approved. So then I continue to submit another order for the same product (landscaping rocks) and then after receiving the confirmation email AND the purchase showing as "Approved" in my Amex app, Hayneedle cancels it again! This circle goes around about 6 more times...approved, canceled, etc... until I decided to use my debit card, and yes you guessed it, they canceled it again!! Every cancellation was for the same reason "Authorization problems". Also, a week before this fiasco happened we successfully placed two separate orders for about 1200 lbs of landscaping rocks with the SAME credit cards which went through smoothly! So what gives?! Do they not want my business or something?

I returned a pub table to Hayneedle because it came damaged. The box was partially damaged also. It had a scratch and the tapered marble was cracking a little bit. I returned it and they gave me a refund, which was all good. It was one of the only effects that I found in a table that I really wanted with specifications that I needed -- the size and everything -- although my husband didn’t measure the height very well so the table wasn’t the right height which was another reason why I preferred the refund instead of getting a new one. If the height wasn’t a problem, I would have just exchanged it. The online ordering experience was great and they didn’t give me a hard time to return it and have the refund.
I would definitely let them know next time I need to buy a piece of furniture or something; I would definitely buy again. The customer service interactions were great. I even offered to send pictures and the representative said that no pictures were necessary and she processed the return very fast. She was very efficient. I was very happy with the transaction but I was upset the table came damaged. We’re moving soon again so we will need more furniture and I plan on putting a list together and ordering again. They’re very efficient and the transactions were really great and very easy. What surprised me with it was I ordered it and it was there in one or two days so it was very fast.

I ordered a Christmas tree for my daughter in early November for her birthday the end of November, so she could have her own private celebration by putting up her own tree. The tree came on time but without a stand that would fit it! She called the company to get a replacement and tell them the size of the tree but they didn't want to know how large the trunk of the tree was, she tried to tell them twice and they weren't interested in knowing. 8 days later they emailed her to find out exactly that. It is now December and they told her they have forwarded her email to the manufacturer of the tree. She will be spending her Christmas alone this year and would of been nice to have her tree up. It looks like it may not be much before Christmas, sad. Very poor customer service.

Hayneedle is a good company to order from. Our electronic dartboard had quit working and we wanted another one. I ordered a Bullshooter electronic dartboard set from Hayneedle, and I had a good online ordering experience and the shipping was quick. I got it right before Thanksgiving. However, we’ve only got to use it once and it quit on us. And we had to really mess with it to get it going again.

Ordered bookends on 11/27. On 11/29 they were on sale for half price. If I would have known about the upcoming sale, I would have waited with my order. Unfortunately they just match the price 24 hours after purchase. This is a bad sales pitch, could make customers aware of upcoming sales. I will do my business somewhere else in the future.

We ordered the Alpine stacked rock waterfall with LED lights from Hayneedle and everything was great. The cost was fair and the quality was fine. We bought two and put them side-by-side because the one we had was bigger than the two of them put together. However, when we saw them, they were smaller than what we were thinking. We definitely got the height but we wished the width of it would’ve been a bit bigger.

In July 18, 2017 upon the advice of my design consultant a fountain was ordered for the atrium of my building that was being completely redecorated with a new tile floor, paint, 9 planters, new office doors, a directory to the tune of approximately $100,000.00. When the box arrived it was stored in a safe place awaiting the completion of the atrium. In September I was finally able to open the fountain, set it up and realized the size was too small. After discussion with my consultant and a hurricane later I attempted to return the merchandise to Hayneedle only to be told on Oct 30, 2017 that they would not accept it. Today I again asked to be able to return it and was said it was up to the manufacturer. We will see what happens but I am not optimistic. Online companies talk about guaranteed satisfaction and so far I am not impressed.

I was charged the full amount of the items I purchased and a few days later Hayneedle charged my account again. The first charge was over $100 and the second was almost $100. I called and Hayneedle said that this was standard practice and it could take several days for the original amount deducted to be refunded to my account. I know this isn’t my bank's fault because many people bank with them. I do a lot of online shopping and this has never happened to me. If you purchase online be prepared to be charged twice. This is a very bad situation for me right now before the holidays.

I have had Hayneedle products in my home for a long time and the latest ones I bought were patio chairs. I like its design, price, durability, quality, and free shipping. Ordering online was easy. I was riding along in a car trying to purchase from Hayneedle and I bought the chairs while we were driving around. I have referred people to Hayneedle because of the efficiency of shopping online and their products are good. It is online shopping at its finest. My overall experience was warm and fuzzy.

Baby center is next to receive this review about Margareth representing Hayneedle. The Christmas tree I purchased has a copious amount of powder that comes off of it during installation and bulb placement. My entire house was covered after installation and I needed a face mask to place bulbs bc of lung and throat irritation. I have a newborn baby and do not feel safe to bring child by the tree on his first Christmas. I explained this to Margareth and told her that I'm afraid to take down tree at this time until I plastic wrap entirely and dismantle outside. She gave me 30 days to return unless assumed that I want the product. She did not care about the health hazards of the product and will continue to allow product to be hazardous to others. I need this to be documented for other peoples sake so when someone does get hurt it is on file. Be careful with this company. Very poor customer service. They will risk others health for a sale.

I tried to buy an entrance table on Hayneedle.com with 2 Visa gift cards I had. It wouldn't allow me to use 2 so I called. They were very nice on the phone and she said I could use both of my gift cards to purchase 2 gift certificates from them, then buy the table with those gift certificates. So I agreed, and she told me to make sure the gift cards were registered, which I did, and we went ahead with it. One gift card was $75, and the other was $50 but we only needed to take $25 off of that one. So she went ahead with it, and said it could take up to a few days to receive a confirmation of the gift certificates. I received an email saying the order was cancelled (I called before the order to make sure the money was on the gift cards and they were because they were never used).
So I called back and she got a hold of (customer care?) and asked why it was cancelled. She told me it must be that there isn't enough information registered on the gift cards. I said the only option they had for me when I called the gift cards to register was a zip code. She said it might need my full address. I called the gift card back and they don't register with anything other than a zip code. I found another gift card with the full amount on it that I needed for the table (different visa gift card from a different store). I registered that one which this time was my full address. I went online and purchased the table, and it went through. I got an email saying that was cancelled also for the same reason.
Now, it's the holiday and I have no money on any 3 gift cards (other than the $25 left from the $50 one) because all the money came off the gift cards, even though all the orders cancelled. That's $200 worth that I'm down, been down for a few days now. When I called Hayneedle.com, they don't know how long it takes to put the money back on my cards. It's already been a few days, I don't have a table, and cannot purchase the table from a different store until I get the $200 back on my gift cards. This is very unfortunate and I don't understand why the money would come off just to get cancelled. If that's the case, the money should have never come off in the first place.

I bought a hall tree from Hayneedle and I have it for a month now. It’s a white one where I put my boots and coats on and it looked nice. My online purchasing experience went fine but there’s a manufacturing problem with the product. On its bottom, there's a couple of screw in the predrilled holes around the blank spot so it's not put together all the way and I'm going to have to drill my own holes for the screw. But I didn’t want to take it back so I just left it. But my friends are coming over to help me drill some holes so I could screw it together on the bottom. Other than that, it has a good quality but it's a little spendy in terms of cost. But I had a 10% off coupon so it's all right. I like the hall tree and it looks great in the house, and everything turned out okay. Hayneedle was good.

I have 'UNSUBSCRIBED' several times and I'm still receiving their garbage emails. When I unsubscribe from an aggressive merchant, I expect that my request will be honored IMMEDIATELY. I have blocked their email address and I'm still receiving their garbage. Next, I guess, will be for me to file a complaint with the FCC.

To me, Hayneedle is an online retailer. Which means that they represent that they have the items that I am ordering, unless they are indicated as out of stock. I placed an order for the first time on November 13. My credit card got immediately charged at the time of the order. Item is scheduled to be delivered on November 21. November 21 came and went, nothing came. I contacted Hayneedle. The agent told me that it is supplied by a third party, and that they have no visibility into the status of the order because they need to contact the third party. They would give me 10% refund for the inconvenience, and will let me know as soon as they hear back.
November 22, I contacted them again because I heard nothing from them. Turns out the item was out of stock. NOWHERE during the ordering process was it ever indicated the item was out of stock, OR that it was to be fulfilled by a third party. I requested that the order be canceled. They can't do that on the spot because they need to call the third party to cancel it. The item could well be shipped to me, and when it is, they will send a shipping label. Bear in mind this is a piece of furniture and it weighs 60 lbs. Just the sheer inconvenience of having to deal with shipping an item I do NOT want is so unappealing. At this point, the matter is still unresolved. I am going to call the credit card company to do a charge back. These guys are crooks, do NOT deal with them.

Hayneedle has a lot of product choices and I got a bookshelf and a media stand from them. They were exactly what I was looking for and their price dropped. The ordering process was easy. However, it was confusing since there were a lot of photos that seem like things are already on the shelf. I knew what it was going to look like but I wasn’t sure how it was going to look when I got there. It ended up just what I wanted and the quality is great. However, I wish that there will be a couple of different size of the same products with photos.

Received an email back confirming my request. So this morning I receive a email that item shipped. Now they tell me it is my responsibility to get a hold of the carrier to work something out. Their mistake and it should be their task to work something out. Supposedly the carrier has security rules. If they would have shipped as confirmed there would be no problem. First and LAST purchase from this company.

I was online looking and I happen to see something like a propane tower. I liked it and Hayneedle was the only place I saw that had it. I bought four bookcases 20 years ago. When my wife and I divorced, we then sold the house and got rid of a lot of the furniture. Recently, I bought a townhouse in Annapolis and I thought of getting new furniture. When I went to the Hayneedle website and I was going to create an account with my ID and password, it turns out I already had an ID and password. It came up with the information from the past. I didn’t realize Hayneedle was where I got the bookcases years ago. It was an oak bookcase not too different from what I purchased a few weeks ago. It's heavy duty because I had a lot of hardcover books, and it has five shelves. It's also got a support bar to reinforce the shelves. That way, my heavy books and the bookshelves are not going to bend. It's a coincidence that I recently ordered bookcases from the same place and so far, I'm pleased with it.
I've been buying a lot of things online in the past four weeks and it's been a fine experience. The product has good quality for its price. If I wanted to get a solid wood, I'd have to pay at least twice as much. But for the materials that were used, it's really quality. If this bookcase is going to be like the ones I used to have in the past, it will last up to 50 years and that’s good. The website is good too. There's enough information, enough description of each product so that you get a fairly good idea of what you're going to get. There are some places where you just get pictures and then you have to guess about the dimensions and anything else which makes it not worth getting from those places. But Hayneedle is good because they do provide quite a lot of information about the products.

This is the first time I bought Hayneedle and I love the frame that I got. It's a light brown wood honey colored and it's a divider, a standing frame. It has 22 frames in different sizes and it's really beautiful. I'm able to take many of the smaller frames that I have sitting in my entertainment center and have this as a standing room divider. Not only does it have the box that you can unlatch to put the picture there, it also has a nice covering of plastic so you can see it and the picture itself is protected so it's very nice and the cost was excellent. They also had this ottoman and some sectionals, furniture, and stuff that were absolutely beautiful.
However, when I initially ordered the frame, I was told that they had to send the product directly to my home and I live in a condo. So, I explained to the vendor that I needed that sent to FedEx but he couldn’t do that. And so, it took me several days to get my product and that was the only concern that I had. Other than that, the order went well although they had to move the product around before I could get it. Even though I like the products on Hayneedle, I may not be ordering from them again.

Yesterday, while online at or around 1600 the ad stated, "Medium dog house for sale through Precision". Dog house was $$91.89 plus a 15% discount. This price is to be given until 1259 November 5, 2017. Now when I called at or around 1145am November 5, 2017, I am told that price is no longer and if I wanted it I would have to forfeit the 15% off. I find this rather suspect that a company of this caliber would lead customers to believe this and wonder if the representative was misinformed or there was some other error online I was not aware of. I appreciate your time in looking into this. I was going to order 2 medium size dog houses #DO5384 at 91.89 each along with the canvas liners at $68.84= 160.73 less 15%. I was unable to proceed with the order as advertised 11-4-17 at 1600. Thank you.

In June of 2014 I purchased, for $1,000 an outdoor wicker chaise lounge from Hayneedle. It was manufactured and delivered from Modway in New Jersey to my home in California. The product was as described and I was very satisfied UNTIL it started to totally deteriorate. The wicker on the sides broke and the entire piece began to fall apart. According to both Hayneedle and Modway, since this product is beyond its "1 year warranty" (it is now 3 years old) there is nothing more they can do about it! This is, from a consumer perspective, not acceptable.

I’ve only ordered one item from Hayneedle and was very dissatisfied with the product. I purchased a gift basket for my mother’s birthday that was to include an assortment of sugar free treats. They charged me over $40 for a little basket with maybe 4-5 items that could not have cost more than $1/piece. They get two stars simply because the package arrived in one piece and I blame myself a little. I made a impulse decision and didn’t really think about it but for them to blatantly charge that amount of money did not make me happy at all and will definitely make me avoid buying anything from them ever again. Next time I'll be a little less lazy and go make the basket myself for $5/$10. Such a rip off these guys.

I purchased a firepit 2 years ago. The bottom of the pit burnt through and can no longer be used. Hayneedle refuses to help me in any way. They will not sell me a replacement piece. They told me to repurchase the $344 firepit! They blame Walmart who in turn blame Red Ember who in turn blame Plum Struck. So these four multibillion dollar companies cannot help me. I did not mean to purchase a disposable $344 firepit!

Ordered a power riding toy for my grandson in time for it to be delivered on the 31 of Oct. for his birthday party. I received a email on the 27 that the order was canceled because payment could not be processed. I was told to verify my information and to contact my bank to ensure they had the same information. We had looked at furniture stores in this area for cedar chests but they’re getting few and far between. So, my daughter looked on the computer and found the cherry finished cedar chest that we bought from Hayneedle. The product arrived two days after I ordered it. We haven’t assembled it yet. But it looks like it’ll be fine. We opened the box and we looked at it. They looked nice. It’s going to be given as a gift and the occasion isn’t here yet. I’d like to write a review for an elevated garden I purchased this past spring. I went on the Hayneedle web page, to get the exact product name/model number, and lo and behold, it’s been discontinued. Go figure!!! Not surprised, since the bottom of mine collapsed and dumped all the soil and content of the vegetables growing in the garden in my yard. Wow, what a piece of crap. I asked for a refund, and guess what? Yep, that’s right, I don’t qualify. Humm!! So a raised garden on Hayneedle.com is not even guaranteed 6 months. My advice to anyone thinking about purchasing ANYTHING from this company, think twice. They are a fly by Night Company, and pay no attention to the reviews they have posted, and pay close attention to this one. I will save you the hardship and money I lost dealing with this company. My advice: DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

My wife and I bought a dark-colored cedar oak chest from Hayneedle for our daughter to use as a hope chest to keep things in until she leaves the house and take it with her. My son was searching for trampoline and he put it in my desktop cue. I pulled it up and looked at it and ordered it as his birthday present. It came in seven days early. However, it was a three parcel shipment and only 2 parcels came in while the third parcel came in four days later. The trampoline seems like a decent quality product but one of the foam wraps around the upright support for the surrounding net was already torn when we put it on. So those aren't the best but everything else seems to be in order. The cost was reasonable and everything was smooth except shipping.

As far as the customer service, Hayneedle was great in taking care of our problem. However, they need to improve their packaging. Two out of the four bar stools that I ordered were packaged in such a way that they came damaged. They were round back bar stools and they were just put in the box, with no packing around the round back. So, as soon as anything got crushed the least little bit, the tops of them cracked. But when I called them last week and explained what the problem was, everybody's been super gracious and the last two have arrived to replace the two broken ones and they're perfect. They look great. I'm very pleased with it.

I bought a child's table and chairs from Hayneedle. I had purchased a table like it two years ago for my granddaughter and our daughter-in-law and son liked the product. It's a Lipper table and chairs and the first time I ordered it was through Amazon but when it arrived, I didn't like the color. It was cherry and too light so I sent it back. When I was reordering it, I called Hayneedle but they couldn't pull up the order at Amazon so I ordered it through them and I couldn't fill up the order number. I also asked if I needed to call Amazon and they said no because we could actually get the free shipping because we have Amazon Prime. The customer service rep was very helpful and it was a very nice experience in every way. However, I got the wrong size of table but if I can return this product and get the correct size, I would actually recommend Hayneedle.

I was shopping on Google for a hall tree on a Tuesday. Found one on Hayneedle for 289 dollars so I made my purchase. Get an email confirmation seconds later. 2 days go by and I get an email from Hayneedle saying my orders cancelled and so I call them and they give me the run around and tell me they can resubmit my order but it would take 48 to 72 hours to process a new order. So now we're looking at a week or better just to get an order placed. I could have already paid and received my hall tree from Amazon but I thought I would give them a try so I stay with cancellation knowing I have the usual 2 to 4 days before they will reverse the charges on my credit card!! Bad first time experience. Won't go back!!

I had an excellent experience ordering online from Hayneedle. It’s easy to find the items I want on their website and when I couldn’t find them, I had people that I could ask questions to. Their customer service was awesome as well. I have called their 800 number and there was a couple of people I’ve dealt with who were very accommodating. I bought a car seat and one of those Pack ‘n Plays for my granddaughter and I got the items faster than what I anticipated. They came in excellent quality and were easy to assemble. The cost was very good too.

I have ordered twice from Hayneedle since August. The first item (an end table) arrived with a damaged top. The Table required assembly - using glue. Hayneedle insisted that we return the table (which meant we had to make a box to fit it into) and pay for a replacement while we waited for the replacement to be delivered and the credit to go through. Second delivery was a bench with upholstered top that arrived with a hole in the upholstery. This time they did not insist we return the product, but wanted us to pay for a replacement again. When I asked why they couldn't just replace it - don't credit me and charge me again - just replace it, I was told that was not the way their bookkeepers liked exchanges handled. I think you need bookkeepers who understand that your business is not dependent upon them - but on keeping CUSTOMERS HAPPY. Won't order here again.

I got two red Adirondack chairs from Hayneedle for my daughter. I was looking for a specific item and they had a good price and so I purchased it. It was a simple online transaction and they sent it. It came fairly quickly and so far, for the price and finish, they're really good. The only negative thing is that when I received it, there were two screws in one of the slots that looked like it had been pulled out. But it wasn't enough of a big deal to send it back. Hayneedle.com is 100% a scam. They only sometimes send the furniture they take money for, have no quality control and customer service is non-existent. I purchased a $100 console Sept 23rd, and have never received anything. Tracking number with FedEx shows it was never sent. Their "Customer advocate" helpline just informs you that the wait is more than 30 mins, and when using their website to contact them through email, there is a error message. 100% scam. I'm assuming they will be sued soon and go out of business.

I bought a bunk bed from Hayneedle recently, great price ~$162, free shipping, so I was excited. When I got the box it was completely trashed, cuts and tears in the cardboard, and pieces of loose tape everywhere. As if the box had been used over and over again. But I went ahead and started to assemble it. The first step on the list is to find the bolts, screws and tools provided. But there weren't any. I was extremely annoyed because I had already thrown away my old bed, so I'd have to sleep on the floor. So then I gave their customer service a call. They told me, they'd give me 50% of my purchase if I could go to Home Depot to find the screws or else they'd have to order me a new one. When I asked if they had any of the bags with the screws in it, they said they didn't and this would be the only way.
RIDICULOUS! So I went to Home Depot desperate to try to assemble the bed today and couldn't find the screws. They didn't carry the specific type. So I called again, and this time the representative was much nicer, and told me she'd order me a new one, I'd just have to send back the old one AND she'd still honor the 50% and credit me the 50% for inconvenience. I was happy that she did that, she even threw in expedited shipping, so I was satisfied.
A couple of days later, I get an email from my credit card company (used to pay for the bunk bed), and they warned me about a recurring payment being made of $162 from Hayneedle. Mind you, I said NEW payment, so I still had the old charge on my card as well. I called them and the rep said not to worry about it, the payment wouldn't go through at all it was "just there" and "wouldn't charge me." I told him I was worried because I would have insufficient funds. But okay whatever. A couple of days later, $82 was credited back to my card, which I was assuming was my credit back.
But today, I received a message from my bank saying that the new charge is pending and will be deducted from my account. So I called again, and the lady had no info about my 50% being taken off my order, she said I would only get 50% off if I went to find the screws and tools for it. So I got frustrated! I told her that was wrong, so she put me on hold, and came back with an attitude like it was my fault all this was happening to me. She couldn't understand how frustrating it was. She said "Okay, well, I'm trying to help you. I'll give you 50% off even though it wasn't stated here" but I was still confused and said to her "Everything was fine until I saw that there was an extra charge pending for $162. You don't need to subtract 50% from anything else because I see its already been credited, you just need to take off the last $162 and we'll be okay."
Then she put me on hold again. Then when she came back she said "Okay, well that's how we're doing this, we'll have to credit you back the full payment of 162, then we will charge you half of the price of the new bunk bed, the last 162 will come off." She sounded frustrated that she had to explain it all to me. I said "Can you understand why I'm frustrated? You can see how that process is kind of ridiculous right? You didn't credit me the full price of the bunk bed, only half" and she said "You'll get the other half in a couple of days." I know that was a lot of reading, but I'm so dissatisfied with the lack of communication between customer service reps and also the poor customer service. I work in retail, and I would at least try to understand the frustrations of my customers.

Hayneedle's website was accurate and the product looks what one thinks it’s going to look. I recently bought a couple of different types of bookshelves from Hayneedle. But they were all the same type when delivered. The first one was great and the second one has something wrong with it. Hayneedle had to contact their supplier who said that they either didn’t have the right thing or I didn’t know what the issue was. Ultimately, Hayneedle handled it very professionally and offered to either give me a partial refund or to have me return the product altogether. Because I wanted the particular bookshelf and not the other one that I got, I took the discount. Then my husband was able to rig it and it looks fine.

I bought a coffee table online. Never got a tracking number. When I still hadn't received either a number or the table, a few days past the delivery date, I called customer service. They informed me that they could not provide a tracking number and they were unable to even reach the manufacturer via phone to see what was going on. When the table came a few days later, I opened the box to find it in 4 pieces, completely mangled. I called customer service again, who informed me that they will deliver a new one by Wednesday (five days later). It is now Wednesday, so I decided to call them again because I had a hunch about how horrible this company's practices are. To no one's surprise, they informed me of the exact same issue as before - that they were unable to get in touch with the manufacturer via phone and I should just wait by my computer for an email with more details. Needless to say, I'm never using Hayneedle again.

I saw a desk online and it had a reasonable price, so we bought it from Hayneedle. I picked it out and I had to go through the secure checkout. It came within a week after I ordered it. FedEx delivered it and the poor gentleman had to have my husband help him with taking it off the truck. It was so heavy. I felt bad that the gentlemen had to do it himself. A lot of the stuff they deliver is heavy and there's got to be a way. It could be put in more boxes, so they don't weigh quite as much if the driver doesn't have a helper, which he didn't. It took us a while to get it assembled but we love the product. I'll order through them again.

I’m currently working in Maine and I wanted my dog to have somewhere nice to stay so I looked for a doghouse online. It's the first time I bought from Hayneedle and I chose the doghouse with a heater. It cost me about $178 and it's a good product. But it wasn’t packaged all the way and somebody chipped it up so it got damaged in transit. The wooden part of it broke and snapped. I took pictures of the damage on my phone but my phone got stolen so I don’t have proof and I couldn’t get through Hayneedle to let them know that the product was already damaged when it got to the house. My brother helped me fix some of the damage on it and it wasn’t that bad.
Also, the lady gave me bad information. I told her I had a Great Dane and she said the dog will fit in the doghouse but it wouldn’t. So my mother told me to put the doghouse in the yard for now and we had to put the dog somewhere else because the doghouse wasn’t big enough for him. I have accepted the loss but I can't be back home in Virginia to fix it and try to make it bigger. I’d like to get my money back and I would gladly disassemble it or send it back to Hayneedle. I'd really appreciate if I can get in contact with the supervisor and explain what happened because I had a really good question and I bought this with all good intentions. But the doghouse didn't turn out like it was supposed to and I was pretty disappointed.

My wife bought a comforter and they charged our bank account two different times for the product. They say it's the way they check our account for funds but isn't it strange they actually have all this extra cash in their hands for their INTEREST! Will never allow wife to shop there again...

We needed a feeder station, we did read reviews prior and the negative one was in building of it... We felt the same however 4 months later the drawer in the feeder is pressed wood. And since dogs have water bowls the water does SPILL and the wood is, all ruined. Terrible thought process in this product. I called Hayneedle and although the customer service was very nice that day they told me to call manufacture, so I did, who referred me back to Hayneedle. In the end, no replacement parts, couldn't be helped... Do NOT buy this product.

I bought a fryer pit for my deck and its quality was good. I decided to buy it from Hayneedle because they had better prices around and a better selection. The website was easy to navigate. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with them.

We purchased outdoor gliders, two chairs and a love seat from Hayneedle. We got the first set and it was really awesome but putting it all together is very difficult and the instructions are horrible. It's almost impossible to put it together if you don’t have tools that are better than what they send you. We have enjoyed the first set but the second one was in a bad shape. They were dented, scratched and a bit rusted. The second set was nowhere near the quality of the first one. I emailed Hayneedle and told them that I'm disappointed with the quality of the second set and never heard anything back. Even so, I like the set because you can buy this at a cheaper price. I would certainly recommend Hayneedle to other people.

It was easy to navigate Hayneedle's website and the TV stand I purchased was the same thing that I saw in there. It is expensive, though, for the quality that I got. The doors don't line up so it feels cheap but everything else was fine with it. All in all, the experience with Hayneedle was average.

I'm an interior designer and I have ordered things from Hayneedle before. The latest furniture I ordered were two outdoor chaise lounges. The price was good and it was something that we needed. When it got here, I hired somebody to assemble it. However, there were some major issues. Some screws didn't work. I had to pay the guy for three and a half hours at that time. When it got assembled, it wasn't represented like how it was in the photo. We had to borrow parts from one lounge to make one work. And I had to pay him to make the other one work. And so I had to hire him to come back and pay for him to disassemble it. I was very disappointed with the product. And now, we have no outdoor furniture. Good thing, Hayneedle’s customer service was amazing. They were so sweet and nice. Everybody followed through and were very gracious,

First off... Customer service is non-existent at Hayneedle. They claim to provide tracking, but it isn't a valid tracking number. The reps are like robots with their seemingly canned responses. Their inability to assist customers is downright pathetic. I ordered a bed... But found out after that the platform didn't much weight. Not on their page, but on another page. They neglected to put this information on the spec section. They want to charge more than 1/3 of the price of the item if refused. I would recommend avoiding Hayneedle at all costs. It seems clear that my negative experience isn't uncommon at all.

I purchased an outdoor patio set almost two years ago. It was nearly twice the cost of the set that I was replacing but after 12 years of service the stretched fabric was beginning to break down with slight tears and worn-down spots. The fabric's appearance hadn't faded or discolored. The replacement set from Hayneedle looked very similar in appearance when it arrived. Within six months the chairs appeared darker but it didn't seem worth it to complain.
Today the color has gone from a light shade of green to a splotchy brown worn fabric. The furniture has had light use and was always covered. I understand that the warranty was only good for one year on the fabric. I contacted Hayneedle to see if I could purchase replacement materials or if I could replace the set at discount but was offered only a 10% discount on any new furniture. I know that they can't replace all worn furniture and stay in business but I was hoping they could work with me to find a solution.
The bottom line is that you should consider their outdoor furniture will last maybe one or two summers at the most. The hardware would probably last much longer but you will need to replace the fabric after a short period and since the material is integrated into the hardware you will be replacing the entire set. At $1295 that comes out to about $50 a month for use. Our previous set from Sears was $650 and lasted 12 years or a little over $5 a month...

I had a previous experience with Hayneedle so I went with them again and bought the wicker hanging chair. Ordering online was pretty easy and self-explanatory. I picked the item, chose the quantity, and checked out. The box arrived damage, so I was nervous, but everything inside was intact and the chair is working out perfectly. It's also more decently priced compared to the other ones I saw when I was shopping around. It was a great experience.

I purchased a Ride On SUV for my children's birthday (Twins). I followed all the instructions that were given for assembly and charging and the car has just not worked right. After speaking with their customer service they advised me the battery is supposed to be charged for up to 4 hours. My directions provided in the box states 8-12 hours. The car barely runs more than 20 minutes before dying. I've owned the ride on car for 60 days and they refused to exchange or return and just gave me someone else to call. I hope this crap company goes out of business for selling crap products and not standing by them when they don't work. Hayneedle.com sucks!!!

I have a baby coming and my nursery is in a middle of a remodel. I ordered a rocking chair from Hayneedle. The rocking chair had good reviews about the quality. It was easy to purchase through the mobile site of Hayneedle. I also received the product within a week. However, I haven't got to put it up yet. It's still in the box. But, it shipped fine.

If I can rate this company a 0 I would. I bought a Oneida Dover 5-piece place setting online and the quantity specifically says 48 pieces. The item goes for $49.99 and I thought that this was a good deal. I ended up getting it in the mail and it just came with 2 spoons, 2 forks and 1 knife. I called customer service and sent them screenshots of what I see and the link and all they could tell me was "there's nothing we can do but refund your order." I called customer service twice and the first lady was super nice and apologetic. The second guy was so rude and spoke to me as if I was wrong. I'll never buy from this company again so I don't have to deal with their false advertising and rude customer service representatives.

Ordering online from Hayneedle was easy and I bought from them because of their good price. But they sent me the wrong product. I ordered a full over full bunk bed but they sent me a twin over full bunk bed. I had to send it back and the return process was bad. I had to call a bunch and they were really big about how I should send it back. The box was delivered to me and it was in terrible condition when I got it. I already opened it up to put it together before I realized it was wrong. I then had to get a new box, which I spent $30 on. I asked if I would be compensated and the rep told me that I could get 10% off my next purchase. But at that point, I didn't want to buy from them again. So I just returned the bed for a refund and I ordered from a different company.

I was searching around and Hayneedle seemed to be competitive with their price and when they can get the items to us. It was easy to navigate through the website and find what I was looking for. Everything was there in front of me, and I could see everything I needed to see. Also, I knew the bookshelf was what my customer wanted. I purchased one to two bookshelves then I delivered them to my customer and they loved it. I'm 100% satisfied with Hayneedle and I will use them again in the future.

I bought online Spalding 88454G Glass Inground Basketball SYSTEM for $389.17 on 9-5-17. Hayneedle had the PIC of the entire system: backboard, pole, rim with net. It was shipped on 9-6-17. Start tracking this order next day and I was wondering why there was only 1 package. I called Hayneedle and was told am only getting the Backboard and also I was told, "You don't get everything that shows in the picture." So, I called AMAZON ($379.99), Competitive Edge (389.99) and those price includes the entire basketball system. So I called Federal Express not to deliver that package because it is an incomplete system. I believed Hayneedle knows this is all I'm getting didn't even bother to call me first. What am going to do with a backboard without a pole? UNSAT.

I bought a few things from Hayneedle including a little curio cabinet where I have all my stereo stuff in. I still have the cabinet. Also, I'm up here in the High Desert and we did all our landscaping. I have a little section that I just wanted for my birds. I saw a little solar fountain on Hayneedle and I purchased that. I liked the solar and I do a lot of solar lighting. I bought solar fountains before from them and I've always been pleased. They've lasted a long time. Ordering the product was great and the site was pretty nice. All I had to do was put in what I was searching for and every kind that I can get came up. The cost was good too. I would trust Hayneedle to buy something again from them.

I like Hayneedle. I've been wanting wind chimes for a while. I checked all over and they had the best price. I got Corinthian Bells and the quality was very good. Also, the reps were very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. When I call them and order, they're fast and they help me out.

I thought the freestanding adjustable umbrella that I bought from Hayneedle would be what I needed. The product was nice and has high quality, but it didn't adjust to block the sun the way I wanted it to, so I returned it. Other than that, everything was fast and pain-free and the return was easy. I would order from them in the future.

We had a porch put on, and the contractors needed to figure out where to hang it because they wanted to put support. So I had to purchase something, but I wasn’t ready to spend money on it. I looked for a bed swing and the one the porch swing from Hayneedle was on sale and I liked it so I picked it.
Hayneedle’s website was great. It was easy to navigate and to find something. I searched porch swings, a bunch of things came up and I filtered out the color I was looking for. The swing came relatively quickly and it was easy to put together. Its quality is decent, pretty sturdy and the cushions are nice on it. I’m relatively happy with it except for the little chunk of wood out of it. I was going to call Hayneedle about it, but I ended up hanging the swing instead. I’ve had it for two months now.

I was not informed that rewards do not apply to PayPal orders or I would have put in my credit card information. All the way through the order process it kept telling me what my reward amount would be, it wasn't until my rewards didn't show up on my account that I was informed that they don't apply to PayPal orders. On a $969.46 purchase that really takes a hit. I intentionally ordered from Hayneedle because of the rewards. Very disappointed in Hayneedle.

We have purchased from Hayneedle a couple of times before and the ordering process is not hard. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. I wanted the outdoor egg chairs, so I recently bought two from Hayneedle. Their price is reasonable and the quality has been fine so far. However, they charge for the return shipping and it costs more than the product itself. Other than that, I got my things in a timely manner and it's been a positive experience. I would recommend Hayneedle.

I quit gardening but I wanted to have a few items, so I purchased three of the raised bed gardens from Hayneedle. I initially got one and I liked it so I ordered another one, and I ordered one for my mom for Christmas. The ordering process is simple and the product is easy to put together and wonderful. I got a KidKraft Ultimate Corner Play Kitchen with lights and sound from Hayneedle and ordering online was really easy. I wanted to go with one of the higher-priced ones so I wouldn’t get something cheap and it turned out well. It's a good product with a fair price. It was time-consuming to put together but it seems sturdy, well-made and of good quality. We've had it for a couple months now and my daughter loves it. It's easy to use and I'm happy with it.

We purchased two side tables and a center coffee table from Hayneedle less than a month ago. We liked the design and they're also less expensive than what we have been looking for in other places. Ordering from them online was simple and quick. The quality is good so far and we’re happy that they last long. They're what we had expected for the price. Also, it was raining on the day of delivery and the delivery man kept the package outside so it was a little wet but the package held up well and there was no damage to the actual product. The packaging was great. Hopefully, they’ll consistently deliver the same kind of quality for my future purchases.

I purchased a bed frame over 3 weeks ago and after putting it together, I noticed that both of the side drawers were damaged, 1 was not usable. I called customer service and after being bounced to 4 different locations I was finally able to communicate that my product arrived damaged. The rep said that she would have to add the drawers to their system to order and provide replacements. I had no further communication for 2 weeks at which time I received an email that this would be resolved in a day or 2.
I have an assembled bed frame that I cannot use for almost 3 weeks now since I’m not sure if they will want me to waste more time disassembling to return. I have no confidence in a good resolution for this issue after reading other reviews. The product is very nice and was not cheap to purchase but a lack of competent customer service like this is really unacceptable. Only purchase with this company if you enjoy a challenge.

I was looking in Wayfair and there was an advertising banner on the side for a Hayneedle rocking chair that was in the contemporary style. Because we are more into contemporary than classic, we bought two of these rocking chairs in July, and they were amazing. We also purchased a TV stand and a coffee table last March. Ordering was fantastic and the shipping was very quick. The package was perfect and the quality of the products we got was good. We also had the assembling option with the TV stand. The guys who did the job were very quick and they did not hurt anything, and I was very satisfied with the service.
I bought the rocking chairs on two different days and the second one cost about $20 more than the first. I didn’t know why the price rose in a few days, but the price of the first one was a good compromise between quality and cost. Even with the higher price of the second chair, I bought it anyway because I wanted the chairs to match. My experience has been very positive. I just want to suggest that the description of the items be made more accurate, especially for the dimensions. But overall, my experience with Hayneedle has been very positive. I’m happy with them and I’m always looking at their website to see if I find something that I like.

I got an outdoor fire pit from Hayneedle and have it for a couple months now. I liked the price and purchasing it online went fine. When I received the fire pit, it came with a vinyl cover, but it didn't come with a metal cover, which many of them do. I looked at many different ones when I was looking and they all seemed to be about the same. But mine doesn't have the metal cover that you put over the actual ignition area where the gas output is. I called Hayneedle to see if they had a cover for it, or the manufacturer, which they said no. But I wasn’t the first one who called because she knew as soon as I started to tell her the story that other people had called and that particular model doesn’t come with a metal cover.
I went back on to see if I could find one that would have the same size cover and try to order a cover. But I wasn’t able to find one. Other than that, putting it together went pretty easily according to the directions. My Hayneedle experience was good. I bought other items there in the past and the products were always the way that they were described online.

I really wanted a hammock for my front porch and so I purchased the egg-shaped one from Hayneedle. Ordering from them online was awesome and the delivery was really fast. Also, the quality of the product was great and the cost is fantastic. Overall, Hayneedle is a great online shopping store.

Purchased table online from Hayneedle. After 7 months the table surface looks so bad it needs to be junked. Contacted Hayneedle customer service and they said it was not their problem because cups had been left on the surface. There are cup circles but the surface is also compromised in other areas on this "industrial dining table". We have three teenagers and the table has not been abused. The finish is just junk. I would not recommend purchasing from Hayneedle. They do not stand behind the product the way Costco or similar retailer would.

I ordered Adirondack chairs from Hayneedle for my boyfriend for Father’s Day. My mom suggested going to Hayneedle. Ordering from them was simple, however when I received the order, the boxes had broken open in some spots and horribly beaten up plus the chairs had broken in several places. I was upset about it because it was about $235. I called them and the girl couldn’t have been more kind. She was very helpful and understanding of my situation. I was mostly worried about having to send them back and I don’t even know how I can ship it back. But she told me to keep them and they refunded me the money. She also mentioned that they had had problems with shipping in the past with these chairs. It also didn’t say fragile or anything on the box. The one who did delivery came fast, though.
Although it was definitely upsetting that I didn’t get what I wanted, it was nice that they refunded my money without a ton of questions and I didn’t have to deal with the hassle of sending it back. I also enjoyed that the woman that I spoke with from customer service spoke English. She was also very easy to understand and talk to because I thought I was going to get someone who doesn’t speak English when I called. It was a good customer service experience overall.

I purchased two organizers for my first grade classroom. I received a confirmation and expected delivery date. A day before the expected delivery I received an email saying that they made an error in pricing and have canceled my order. While I understand mistakes happen, not honoring your advertised price is BAD business practices! In a follow up with customer service, they offered me 10% off my next purchase. No thank you, I'd rather shop at reputable store that will stand by what they advertise!

We were looking for an outdoor umbrella that has a netting around it to keep out bugs and that fits our deck perfectly. We couldn’t find one that we wanted on Amazon and in local stores like Target and Walmart. We also went into Lowe’s but only saw some of the bigger ones. So we did a search on the internet and I found the outdoor umbrella on Hayneedle. It has been outside every day since we got it and it's holding up so far. The quality is very good but when the netting starts to tear and falls apart, we'll have a problem finding a replacement netting for it and the bugs will be able to get to us when we're in there.
We ordered the umbrella online 2 months ago and the Hayneedle website was straightforward. The expedited shipping cost was only $6 more and it fits our time frame well. Also, we ordered a lot on Amazon and they're the easiest to order from but Hayneedle was close. Then it would be good if Hayneedle also says, even in small print, on their site that they have measures in place to make sure that our identity is kept safe. A lot of others have started mentioning that on their pages, especially Target when after they got broken into. All in all, it's been a good experience.

I ordered almost $4000 worth of patio furniture from Hayneedle. It arrived in a decent amount of time. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged. When the boxes were removed from the truck, they were just about destroyed. Since each box contained 11 pieces of merchandise (two furniture frames and multiple cushions) weighing over 200 lbs. per box (516 lbs. total) there was no way to check it before the driver left, though I did indicate on the bill of lading that the boxes were crushed and ripped. The boxes took up one whole side of my driveway. When we were able to get the furniture out of the boxes, both sofas were damaged. I called Hayneedle within an hour and requested an exchange (which they do not do, I was only able to return the entire order).
They told me to take it to a carrier such as FedEx or UPS and return it. However, it weighs over 500 lbs. So, they arranged for their carrier, AGS, to pick it up. It took over two weeks to arrange pick-up because they canceled once since they only had one guy on the truck and it was too heavy for one person. Then they never called me back to reschedule and I had to contact Hayneedle to get back in touch with them to reschedule. When they finally showed up after two weeks, they sent one driver, so we had to help load over 500 lbs. of furniture on the truck anyway. I was told by Hayneedle that they would bring boxes when they picked it up since the boxes arrived destroyed. AGS said they did not have boxes when they called to schedule the pick-up.
I contacted Hayneedle to find out how I was going to verify I returned all the pieces without boxes. Hayneedle said we would receive a receipt from the driver indicating how many pieces he picked up. The driver gave me no receipt or verification of the number of pieces he picked up. I was not informed that I would not receive a receipt until after the merchandise was loaded on the truck. He told me he did not have any paperwork for me and I needed to contact Hayneedle regarding that, then got in the truck and drove away with my furniture. It has now been a week and I can get no information from Hayneedle regarding where the furniture is and when they will receive it and process my refund. It has been 3 weeks since I requested this return.
In the meantime, I am paying interest on my credit card (and can't pay off the purchase or I will end up with a credit balance). It is really irritating. I would like to know where the furniture is and when I will get my money back. This has turned out to be a ridiculous process. I am almost exclusively an online shopper, and I am confused about why this is such an ordeal and why Hayneedle does not have accurate information regarding the capabilities or procedures of their shipping carriers. Beware if you expect to have an easy return and receive your refund expeditiously in the event your purchase arrives damaged. It is so unfortunate because I LOVE the furniture, but am not willing to risk going through this hassle again in the event I receive damaged merchandise.

I've been purchasing from Hayneedle for a couple of years and recently, I got the Radio Flyer all-terrain kids wagon for one of my great grandchildren's first birthday. It was easy to order and we were very pleased with the wagon. The quality was good, but I was a little disappointed with the wood. It could have been of better quality and I wish that it had a coat of Shellac on it. It needs to have that if it gets out in the weather. But overall, I had a good experience with Hayneedle.

My husband did some research and went to several different companies. And based on the reviews and the cost, he ended up ordering a pergola from Hayneedle for the backyard. That's the first time we used them and he was very happy with it. We have the pergola by our pool and the quality is good. We really like it and would definitely use the website again.

I wanted a recliner so I looked online, and Hayneedle happened to offer what I liked based on the advertisement. The cost seemed to be competitive, the ordering process was straightforward, and they delivered what they said they were going to in a quick turnaround. I'm very satisfied with it. I've had the recliner for a month, and it was represented well on the website. I would not hesitate to order from Hayneedle again and I would recommend them.

Hayneedle has a lot of choices and that's how I found what I wanted. The cost of the products was within reach. Also, the website gave all the exact measurements and it was very helpful. Sometimes it's hard if I'm just looking at the little picture on my computer or iPad, but their items were exactly what they were said to be.
I usually go to Amazon first, then if I don't find what I like, I go to Hayneedle. My husband and I got a little table from them. It's for our porch and we like it a lot. I was a little worried because it has a terrazzo top, but it's perfect. We use it every morning and love to have our coffee on it. We also bought a water heater which was a short wooden barrel that has a little pump. It looks like a regular pump on the top and there's a solar panel that comes with it. The water comes out of the pump and goes straight into the barrel and then re-circulates. We had our three grandchildren here for two weeks and they were excited. The panel had to get a lot of sunlight, and we were all excited when the water finally came through like it said it would. Both of these items came right away, were exactly as described, packed great, and worked just the way they're supposed to. I'm very happy with them and it was just a great experience.

I’ve had Hayneedle products for about 10 years and the quality has been adequate. My last purchase from them was a gas grill and the cost is a little bit higher than expected. Also, I wasn’t aware that we were supposed to bring the fire pit in every winter. This is Buffalo and it weighs over 100 pounds. So, I don’t really have any place to put it inside. But it’s working and I just got to find a way to get it inside in the winter time. Other than that, I’d recommend Hayneedle.

Finding a heavy duty cover might be helpful (although not 100 percent it certainly is better than nothing should you find you have no choice but to leave the item outside.) I ordered outdoor solar lanterns from Hayneedle. I liked that product because it was solar and bright. Plus, it was all plastic so it didn’t rust, but it doesn't look plastic. I ordered two of them to make sure they were what I thought they would be. They were and they worked fine, then I ordered nine more. It had a fair price and the quality seems good for the price. I've had them for a month and they line the driveway now. Overall, my experience had been just as good as what I thought it would be.

We ordered a water feature that looks like stone and is about 40 inches tall. I had checked different places all over the internet, and the one from Hayneedle seemed to be the best deal on what I was looking for. We received the product in a timely manner and in good working order. We've had it for a couple of months now and we've been enjoying it. My husband likes it. It’s a very good product and it was reasonably priced. If I’m looking for something else I’d be interested in going to the Hayneedle website again.

I purchased the weather-resistant patio umbrella from Hayneedle. I had no problem at all ordering online. It was the price that I wanted and the item was what I was looking for. The umbrella is nice and I’m happy with it. The delivery was easy, they just showed up and it was on my porch. If I needed something like that, I'd buy from them again.

Hayneedle cancelled my order because it was out of stock. This was after they had told me it would arrive and then they told me it was backordered. Now they claim it is out of stock. Interestingly, the exact same set is now on Wayfair for $100 more than I would have paid at Hayneedle. Wayfair had told me it was out of stock and on back order, which led me to shop elsewhere for this set in the first place. I think this is a scam that Hayneedle has, to allow Wayfair to have these items that were promised to me so that I would have to pay $100 more for them. I suspect that Wayfair and Hayneedle are the same company. Complete dissatisfaction.

Hayneedle and Wayfair have no affiliation with each other, but there is a good chance we use the same manufacturer of the item which would explain why it was backordered on both Wayfair and Hayneedle.
The reason our price is lower is similar to the reasons why Walmart can sell the same items as Target but for less. In a competitive market we strive to have the best prices available for our customers. We ordered a bed a month ago. It got lost and we have repeatedly contacted customer service who asks us to contact the carrier company CEVA for answers. We did not order from CEVA. We ordered from Hayneedle. However, since we wanted the bed, we have also contacted CEVA multiple times and are repeatedly told one thing or another but still no bed. They could care less.

I was looking for pool chairs. Hayneedle was having a good sale and it was a good price for the chairs. However, they sent the wrong item the first time. But then they sent the chairs the second time and they've been great. I called them a couple of times because they sent some tables instead of the chairs and I had to reorder the chairs. And then, one of the chairs was defective. So, they gave me a credit on it. Their customer service has been spectacular. I ordered a basketball hoop as well.

I was looking for something specific and then Hayneedle popped in. I liked the price that went along with the all-weather porch swing that I wanted and liked. We have a summer home and it was at the beach. It was delivered there and it worked out perfectly. The quality is fine. It's very good but we have to have somebody come in and redo the whole top because our porch doesn’t have support beams. Overall, everything was fine and I would order from them again.

For a limited order I experienced: Product shipped without cushions. Product lost. Product received with damage. 2 day Quick-Ship arriving 3 days late. Multiple calls to coordinate return of broken product. Lost product arriving 30 days later but damaged. Credit not being applied after damaged product was returned. While I like your product and price point, my client (a continuing care facility) has now gone for almost 2 months without furniture. I have remaining furniture to purchase... some to replace the items mentioned above... but the mess caused by Hayneedle has taken hours to resolve, and it's not over yet.

I ordered a fire pit (red ember) which we paid someone to install and when it did not look like the picture that was on the website we asked to return the item - they have since updated the site to reflect an accurate picture. We were planning on ordering a replacement fire pit and at first they offered me a 10% discount which I told them was unacceptable. The representative then spoke with a supervisor who offered me 25% off which I told them was fine and I would look to see which item I would then order. I requested she place our conversation in the notes to which she replied she would. A few weeks later when we decide to order our replacement there are no notes describing the conversation and they would not honor the discount. Extremely frustrating and disappointing especially since this incident took a significant amount of time and effort to resolve. Never ordering from Hayneedle.

I purchased a home planter which arrived damaged. The parts broken. I called Customer Service and they sent a replacement. The replacement was worse — broken in 3 pieces. I called. They asked if I would glue it together. They offer a discount. If it didn't work they would replace or refund the item. I accepted the offer. The glue didn't hold. I called again and they said it was past the 30 days. They now refuse to refund or replace the item. I will never buy another item from Hayneedle. Be careful of the discounts when they ask you to keep a damaged product.

I've had a Hayneedle rug for two months now. I chose it because of its price and because I liked the pictures that I saw online. I have been looking at other sites and the Hayneedle rug looked nicer than the ones I've seen before. However, it looked a lot better in pictures and the quality wasn’t exactly what I was expecting it to be. From a distance, it looks nice and upscale but when you feel the material, it’s cheap. It has been an easy-going process, but it's not exactly the quality I was looking for.

The price of the fireplace mantel shelf I bought from Hayneedle is excellent and the quality is good but it’s wobbly on my wall. I don’t know if that has to do with the person that installed it or if it has to do with Hayneedle. It also got damaged in between shipping. On the other hand, the customer service was exceptional. I was able to speak with a human, which was helpful because it was frustrating to receive a damaged product. They let me keep it. It was a no-hassle phone call. In addition, it's easy for me to navigate through their website and overall, I've had a very good experience.
We are sorry to hear about the damaged fireplace mantel. It IS frustrating to receive an item that is long awaited for only to find that it has arrived with damage. This is my second time to buy something from Hayneedle and both experiences are great! Once I bought a canvas painting and it was just like I wanted it to be. Shipping was fast! This time I bought a patio umbrella and the color said it was deep sky blue. The picture looked turquoise and my cushions were turquoise so I took a chance on the shade of blue. It came a lot sooner than I thought it would and to my great surprise the color was turquoise and perfectly matched my cushions on my patio chairs!!! I will definitely buy from Hayneedle again!

I was looking for an outdoor couch for my summer home. I found a beautiful one on the website with delivery date 10 days after order. I jumped on it. It's now a month later and I still haven't received my couch and I still don't have a confirmed date for delivery. For a large company to outright deceive consumers is appalling. I have called the company and they don't seem to be too bothered by the situation. I would never buy another item from them.

I bought a glass sketch table from Hayneedle. I was googling tables and theirs came up. And the price was really good price and it was glass and I was sold on it. I’m an artist and I needed it. Ordering the table was simple and easy and I did it within 15 minutes. The table's quality is great and it looks nice, too. The directions might have been a little bit too confusing at some point with the small pieces like the screws but I eventually got it. I also got the table sooner than expected, which was cool.

I bought a fountain from Hayneedle. I looked around for other retailers but they were more expensive. Hayneedle's was cheap and although it’s not the best and not very good material, for the money I paid, the fountain is still nice and looks good. The design is what attracted me to buy the fountain. However, when I received the fountain, it was broken. The material of the fountain is very fragile and it was in a Styrofoam box, very well put inside there, but broken in the box. Many people, from the reviews I read, were saying that their fountain was also broken.
Nevertheless, the people at Hayneedle were very nice. When I complained about the broken parts, they said they know and understand. Then they asked me if I wanted to send the product back but I asked if there was a different option and they gave me a $50 discount. Anyway, it's what I expected for the money I paid because a good and big fountain is $400 or more but for this one from Hayneedle, it was $140 so I’m okay with that. I put one piece back on the fountain but I couldn’t do the rest because they were too small. Now, it's okay and working.

My husband bought me my Belham Living Curve Back Porch Swing from Hayneedle for Mother’s Day. I was having trouble finding another type of swing and it came right up. It was at a fair and average price. He ordered it and it came fast. We were really impressed, with something that large, coming as quick as it did. The hardware for it came within like five days and the swing came just a day or two later. I just love my swing. It rained and I was looking out there and the water’s beaded up on it, which is good.

I got a hammock and the stand for it three months ago from Hayneedle. I’ve always wanted a hammock. And then, I got an advertisement online. There was a really nice wooden stand that was on sale. So, I went and checked it out, I liked it and I ordered it. The experience was excellent so as the hammock. The cost was good and shipping was free. I received the hammock a day early and the stand’s on time. I was surprised with how heavy the stand is, so it's good that it was shipped for free. There are other things I’m planning on buying from them, but I just hadn’t got around to it quite yet. Overall, the experience was fast, easy and inexpensive.

Hayneedle does not keep track of its partners nor the content that they purport to sell. I ordered an item from their website which was supposed to arrive within 2 weeks. They did not send out tracking information. When contacted about the item, customer service cannot reach the vendor and no further information available. Buyer beware, avoid this site. In addition, they quote one price, but at checkout add tax in a multitude of states. Shop elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

As a senior, having a patio umbrella was a want, not a need! It arrived much sooner than I had expected! When putting it together, I could not get the pole inside of the other one! I notice a dent in the pole connected to the umbrella making it impossible to assemble! I called Hayneedle customer service who offered an apology and said my replacement would go out ASAP! No arguing or persuading! Just that easy and simple! The young man was so courteous! Thank you Hayneedle! I will return!

This is the second time I've ordered from Hayneedle and will be the last! The first object was a dog sculpture and arrived with a broke leg! Today I finally received a feather pillowtop thinking, “YES!!! I'm going to sleep so good tonight” to opening the box and finding a TWIN and not the CALIFORNIA KING I ordered!?!? Like what is going on with the shipping department!?!? I'm so mad! Now I have to go out of my way to send this back! I didn't bother with sending the dog back, I just glued his leg back on because that's just how much of a pain in the butt it is to get to the post office!!! UGH!!!
Even though Hayneedle is part of Walmart/Jet.com we operate as a separate Business Unit. These orders were not placed on Hayneedle.com.

We bought an Island Bay adjustable hammock stand (on sale for $99.98) from Hayneedle. The assembly directions were not very clear, but we figured it out and all went fine until the last two pieces. The plastic hooks that the hammock connects to simply would not fit into the metal tubes. This is a problem others customers have had judging by the reviews on the Hayneedle website and on Amazon. One customer said that "the plastic pieces have to be forced on with the power of a god." Another customer said he "had to drill our own holes and shave down the steel for the stand to work!" I really didn't think I should have to shave down the steel, so we called Hayneedle for guidance.
The first solution was to credit us $16 and send us replacement parts. To our surprise, the replacement parts that arrived were the same exact parts. Same parts, same size. Needless to say, they didn't fit either. So we called again. We were basically told we were out of luck and that we should just return the item for a full credit. We didn't want to go through the trouble of disassembling the stand and repackaging, but we were told that we had no choice. We waited to receive the return shipping label information. When they returned from keeping us on hold, they told us to just throw out or donate the item. I would have simply posted this review on the Hayneedle site, but I could not figure out how to do that.
