    We were looking for a storage container for our cushion and stuff for our patio. We looked at a number of stores and Hayneedle looked to be the answer to the program. Also, it was convenient to go with them. Their website was easy to follow with the information included. The order and online delivery were fine. However, I'm disappointed with the quality. I took the measurement of my three or four cushions that I was gonna put into it. Rather than something that was a storage bin, I wanted something to look nice that I could sit on. And so, I measured the cushions and it was actually gonna be an inch larger than the cushion and I thought, "That’s great."

    So, when I got it, they didn’t fit inside and I thought, “Oh, no.” So, I measured the product and it was almost two inches smaller than it said it was. So what happened was that I have to squish it in there. It touches out the front and it doesn’t wanna close well, and the water is running inside. So, I'm not very happy about it. They should be more accurate with their measuring. And I know it wasn’t me because I always double checked to make sure it was going to fit the cushion. So, I would just like them to know that I am disappointed and that I probably won't deal with them again.

    Bought outdoor cushions on March 26, 2018. Installed April 11, 2018. By June 2018 the swing cushion has faded from Sienna red to sun faded white. Contacted customer service but they have no method to take care of a faulty product. They say I've had it beyond their return policy. If their product doesn't last longer than two months, nothing they sell is worth buying. I guess I have to say goodbye to my $217 and never buy there again. Anyone that buys their products are asking for trouble.

    I ordered a grill cover on Walmart.com that was actually shipping from Hayneedle. The Walmart website said it was in stock and available for immediate shipment. However I received an email a few days later stating that a different cover had shipped. When I called the company to ask why the wrong product was shipped they said that the one I wanted wasn't available so they shipped this one instead. They said they would refund my money and told me to keep or donate the item and agreed to help me find one I wanted. They did find a similar cover (a little smaller but would work) that met my needs and they assured me it was in stock this time. However, it was going to be twice as much as what I paid for the first order.

    I asked to speak with a supervisor and after a long time going back and forth she finally agreed to discount the new cover to the same price as the original one I had ordered but that I would have to give my payment info again because they already refunded my original order. I agreed and gave them the info. Now today, I just got an email from them stating that the new cover I ordered is not available. I will NEVER order from this company again!!! I have wasted over a week waiting for an item that I will never receive when I could have just gone elsewhere to purchase what I wanted and would have had it by now.

    I bought a basket that was too big for what I needed and requested a return. They said "We understand the product you ordered did not meet your needs. Unfortunately returns are not accepted for the item." I have never worked with a company that did not accept returns. Will not use this company again. Terrible customer service.

    I purchased an area rug from Hayneedle as they offered the best price. The online ordering process was great. It was easy to navigate their webpage and find the rug. However, I had an issue with FedEx not delivering the item because they were short on drivers. Even though every day the item was marked "out for delivery", at the end of the day, it would be back at the facility. That went on for five days. There was a small credit back for my trouble but Hayneedle should be careful that they're using a carrier that cost them money and was not very reliable for them.

    Nevertheless, Hayneedle's service and follow-up were great. They resolved my problem and called FedEx. Suddenly, my order appeared on my doorsteps the next morning. Since getting the rug, I've liked it a lot. I've also ordered some outdoor tables, umbrella tables, small tables from their company. I like Hayneedle more than Wayfair and working with them was a very good experience except for their choice of carrier.

    I placed an order with Hayneedle and according to their website my item was shipped. I would check on the FedEx website for delivery and the whole thing seemed odd with the package showing up at random places around the country. According to them the futon was supposed to arrive last Friday (6/22/18) and I waited all day for FedEx, except no one showed up. I am assuming that FedEx lost a futon, how they did that no one knows but I am assuming theft. When I contacted Hayneedle they did want to help but only offered to allow me to place a second order with a discount while they processed a refund on the first order.

    I'm sorry but you know the old line "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". I'm not going to commit to another order that may or may not even show up at my house. I even offered to pay for special expedited shipping out of my own pocket but am unable to do so because of their arrangements with the supplier. In other words I was taking a chance at a second no-show futon. As a comparison I purchased at roughly the same a hand-made artisanal desk from Amazon and although I had to wait for it to be built when it was shipped it arrived in 2 days. 2 days! Waiting for another package to maybe, possible, someday arrive is not really a viable option. If you want to buy furniture online use Walmart or Amazon. Everything I have bought from them has arrived and if there were any issues they were easily resolved. Hell I've had better luck buying stuff off of eBay.

    I ordered a set of two chairs with two Ottomans and a table. There was quite a bit of assembly required. When I got to the last piece the chair was defective - one arm did not attach. After numerous unanswered emails, I called and sat on hold for quite a while. When I finally talked to a person they told me I had to disassemble Everything and pack it up to ship back. They wouldn't send a new arm or even a new chair. We have to waste more hours disassembling and packaging. The worst company I ever dealt with. Steer clear!!

    Recently ordered a Traeger Grill for my dad for Father's Day. Ease of website navigation was great and I received the order very quickly. The product itself though, was so defective, it appeared Hayneedle took it right off Traeger's QA reject pile and shipped it out. Every part of the grill except the wheels were damaged or poorly constructed. It was dented in several areas including the grate. The control panel was bent and not attached to the grill completely, the hinges were misaligned so do not fit properly, and the metal brackets were severely bent. Now they want me to print a shipping label and drop it off at a FedEx pick up point. Should have just picked one up at the local Home Depot.

    We wanted to get some outdoor furniture and I got a Wicker Side Table from Hayneedle. Ordering online was excellent and putting the table together went okay. The bottom shelf part of the table fits very tightly. So, there could be an improvement on the design. One leg is shorter than the other because of how it went together and it's wobbly. But I feel good about the cost in relation to its quality.

    I was able to resolve my problem with Hayneedle by getting my item sent via FedEx on the new date.

    The good news is that they use FedEx, and I was able to track my item through them, where it was and what hours it was delivered.

    I'm happy to say, the trundle bed by Novogratz came in good shape, the correct color, and all parts were present.

    Hayneedle still needs to work on fixing the tech problem, but they were able to communicate with me who the shipping company was and restated the tracking number.

    All worked out well, and we are now set for our nieces to visit in comfort!

    I am not confident with Hayneedle and am nervous that I made a mistake ordering from them. I ordered a trundle bed from them because of the timeliness in the delivery date (was supposed to be today, June 15, 2018). I did not receive any order confirmation email from Hayneedle, instead my emails from them were all ads. But nothing about my order. I checked my credit card to see if the order even went through: YES, the item was paid for and charged to my card. So, I called their Customer Service to do the following: 1. To track my order, to find my order number. I was informed by the Customer Service the order is now to come later than the scheduled delivery time. Which poses a problem for me and our household.

    2. I also sent a request on the Hayneedle web to reset my password - no email ever showed up, in spam, trash, or mail. So, I called Customer Service. I was placed on hold twice for a good amount of time so they could send me a reset email: Nothing arrived. Customer Service couldn't answer why. 3. When I went to search to track my order, the Hayneedle webpage says it is not a valid number. I'm getting very concerned that this is a bogus company, and if the item doesn't arrive on the new date the Customer Service aid said, then I will have to dispute the order. Good luck to any of you that order from this company. I'm hoping my item arrives and in good condition.

    Hayneedle - Poor customer service and online ordering. I ordered bunk beds and mattresses twice and both times they were cancelled. I was asking to be shipped to Hawaii (my son is in the Army and stationed there) and I agreed to pay over $586 in shipping costs; however, when the order got to a certain stage, they cancelled. I called customer service the first time they cancelled and they said they do ship to Hawaii and they do delivery on-base. The second time the order was cancelled, same thing.

    So far I have wasted over a month in trying to get this bed ordered and delivered for my grandson's birthday (that's what he wanted and I was willing to do anything to make sure he got what he wanted -- even pay $586 in shipping costs). They wanted me to place an order a third time but I refused -- my credit card still shows two pending transactions each in the amount of over $1200 for a bed that they aren't shipping. They should have removed the pending transaction for the first order as soon as the second order was placed. Now I'm without my grandson's bed that he wanted. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER shop here again! I have ordered from them before but NEVER AGAIN!

    Nice concept for a mobile sewing desk. I just finished assembling this Savannah Folding Mobile sewing desk-walnut. The drawers don't fit as they contact the spacer, will require the slides to be lowered. The holes in the top and side support pieces all have holes too big for the dowels/line up pins provided. When the top is lifted to fold up, the pins stay in the lower section and the unit will not fold up. Trying to remove the pin closest to the hinges will over stress the short hinge screws in the manmade wood core of the top. I see a lot of glue and toothpick repairs to screw holes if this see much use. The join between the two top sections is uneven due to the misalignment of the alignment holes (probably why the holes are oversized). Only walnut in this is on the box where it is labeled. I don't think it will make good firewood. Save your money.

    I placed an order for 2 sets of sheets on 6/5/18 for a total of $16.97. Got an email 6/6 that they were back ordered and was given a 10% discount, no big deal. Got an email 6/7 that they shipped and $17.29 was taken from my account. I received no explanation as to why my order amount increased by .32. I emailed them on 6/7. On 6/8 I decided to call them to get it figured out. I was told by the person on the phone that it didn’t make any sense and she sent a ticket to the billing department. Received my package 6/9. Fast shipping was my only positive about this experience.

    So I waited for a response. On 6/12 I hadn’t heard anything so I called. Was told they were supposed to work on it that day, but she would check for me. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and she came back and stated that my order was 16.97 and I was charged 17.29, then proceeded to mumble to herself and told me that I was charged .66 for freight they hadn’t figured. I don’t know where .66 came from, since my order was only .32 more, but I told her that I approved 16.97 not 17.29, so they should’ve charged me 16.97. She kept repeating herself that they didn’t calculate freight properly so they charged me .66 for freight. At this point I was irate and explained that they cannot just charge my account an amount that I didn’t approve. She just kept repeating herself and I could see I was getting nowhere so I hung up and made a dispute with PayPal.

    This whole time I hadn’t opened my package because I was so irritated. I decided to open it and when I did I found not 2 sets of sheets, but one! So, I called customer service again. The woman asked me if I was SURE that I only got one. To which I responded yes. She sent an email to their supplier and told me it would be 3 business days before I got an answer. I am beyond frustrated and don’t even want to open the one set of sheets I did get. Terrible company and would never recommend.

    We ordered an antique white tv console and received a gray one. Customer service sent us an emailed return label and we carried the boxed piece of furniture to our car and then drove to a local FedEx store to be returned. There is no FedEx pick up for returns. If an item is out of stock, don't send a completely different color. Will never shop with Hayneedle again. Wait time on their customer service line was very long.     We just got a new house and there was a little space next to the refrigerator. We were gonna put a desk and nowhere to put there. And I needed storage and didn’t wanna spend money to have someone build shelves. So, the folding baker’s rack I bought from Hayneedle is perfect. Ordering it online was easy, and its quality is excellent. Also, the cost was very reasonable.     I liked the look of the doghouse I bought from Hayneedle. It was a little more stylish than most dog houses you can buy and it was a good price in comparison to other websites The dog chews it up because it’s cedar. But we kind of knew that going into it. It entertains him and it looks good. So I feel good about it. Plus the online ordering process was easy, straightforward and my order came on time. And I was able to track it and everything went smoothly.     I'm a First time customer purchasing a shower curtain. I was emailed that my order now had been back ordered. I did receive a 10% credit for a future order. This was fine and I finally received my order but WRONG size. So I spoke to customer service and they send me out another curtain. I had to wait ANOTHER week. Finally got it. WRONG size (Again). I could understand one mistake but TWO. I would not recommend anyone to Hayneedle. It was disappointing.

    My first online experience trying to buy a large piece of furniture and it was a failure. I picked out a sofa that I really loved and purchased it online. I had a bump in the road trying to upgrade the delivery service to white glove but was really excited when the delivery day was scheduled. I had a friend help me get rid of my old sofa and waited. Well, the delivery guy brought a heavily damaged sofa to my apartment. It had a huge piece of tape on the back where it was hiding damage. In addition, there was another big scratch on the sofa. I really couldn't believe that this guy brought the sofa to my place like this and try to act like nothing was wrong.

    So after I refused the delivery, I called Hayneedle. They told me that if I wanted to replace what they had sent, they would need to refund my money (which would take 4-5 days to get) and charge my card a second time ASAP for a new one that would ship to my city in 21 days. So not only would have to wait 3-4 weeks for a sofa (now I don't have one) but I'd also have to be double charged while waiting for a refund for the first sofa. To say that I am unhappy is an understatement. My advice is to never shop with Hayneedle.

    I recently moved to a new place and realized just how many bar glasses that I own. I bought the "Convenience Concepts Newport Bar Console". LET ME TELL YOU. First of all, the directions were very confusing and various parts were mislabeled. However, this was the least of my problems because due to troubleshooting I figured it out. Here comes my issue: first, two of the parts didn't fit (a bar across a shelf to keep things from falling out-- way too small).

    Now here's the kicker, the legs for the table didn't fit properly and I tried every single way to get them to fit to no avail. So, I decided it was time to give customer service a call. The girl on the phone was very sweet, but they offered me "40% off of my order" so that I can afford to buy a new one (umm???), they suggested that I send that sucker back (it didn't have "team lift" written on the box for nothing... SO NO), or they offered for me to send the legs and other faulty parts back (how am I supposed to box this stuff up and get it to you? Again, SUPER HEAVY).

    So, this is where I get a little sassy, and ask why they can't just send me replacement parts. I mean, it's not like I'm trying to collect table legs specific to the ONE wine bar that I bought. So, they put in a "REQUEST" for the parts. She informed me that I probably wouldn't hear from them for 72 business hours, and even then I might not get the parts. My question is, anywhere else would be willing to work with you and accept that maybe something happened on their end, however Hayneedle did no such thing. I will not be purchasing anything from this site again.

    Was having some landscaping done at my house. Landscaper suggested we put three pots in front with flowers. He gave us advice on size and looked and found some at Hayneedle. We placed order on May 23rd and the confirm said they would arrive by June 5th. The landscape company wrapped up today hoping to plant the pots before they left but no pots. Order status says still in fulfillment. No one answered the phone. No response to email so I am going to have to go buy pots elsewhere and then pay a service charge for landscaper to come back and finish. Their service is horrible and I will never order another item from them. If you are reading this do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

    5 days ago I spent a good amount of time on the phone placing an order that I was assured in stock. Today I received a cancelation notice product was no longer available because of a data update problem, so I called and the young man apologized and tried to find me a replacement of course at a much higher cost. I asked to speak to a supervisor because we had given away some furniture pieces to make room for the gas fire pit and also had brought an accessory for this item. Well apparently I was not the only problem because no supervisor had time for me. Very poor, but this ended up causing me to purchase through another vendor who had no trouble securing one but at a higher cost of course. I asked if Hayneedle would provide me with the difference and they said all they could do is give me something toward my next purchase... Seriously?

    Ordered a charcoal glider with Ottomans from the website. It came when it said it would. That is my only positive part of my experience. The glider that was sent is not only a different item number completely (not the same style glider) but also beige and not charcoal. The customer service representative said that the item number in their system equates to what we ordered and that color is considered charcoal. When I explained that it is a different chair entirely she asked if I would like to return it. I was told there would be a fee of $22. I am not paying to return an item I did not order in the first place. Very displeased with my experience.

    I bought an easel for my daughter from Hayneedle and the process was seamless. But there was a defect in the product. I explained that I didn't wanna have to put the whole item, take it apart to repackage it and then send it back. I explained to them that it took me hours to put it together and it was one of the last pieces. What I was hoping is that they could ship me a new product and then provide me with a return label so that then I could just take the piece that was damaged from the new item and then swap it with the one that was old and then package that back, so that we could return it that way. It would have been a lot easier for me as the customer.

    They said that's not possible and that they have to receive the damaged item first and then they'll send me out a new one. And, for me, it just wasn't worth having to take it apart, put it back and then spend another several hours to put one back together. My time is way too valuable to be doing that. So I'm stuck with it. And then, at the least, the worst case scenario, they should have offered a discount. I was willing to take photos or whatever they needed, but I didn't wanna return the product. Nothing got resolved so I ended up just keeping the damaged product. Their customer service could be improved. With that being said, I'm just not gonna order from Hayneedle again. I'll just do it from either Pottery Barn or Amazon where, when I've had problems like that before, they made it very simple for me. But if the product wasn't defective, I would have been happy.

    I'm getting ready to retire so I ordered zero gravity chairs from Hayneedle for me and my wife when we sit back on the patio. Their online site was good. I also got the chairs the time I was supposed to and they are nice. I've had them for about a month now and I am satisfied with them. The only thing was Sam's has the same kind of chair with the similar price of $79 a piece, but their chairs have a table on the side. I should've looked around a little more. Also, the chairs are on sale for $49 now but it was too late as I had already ordered. Nevertheless, my experience purchasing from Hayneedle was great. I would shop with them again if I had to.

    My daughter and I looked online and found a very attractive wooden bench from Hayneedle. The online ordering process was okay, and the bench came on time and in good condition. However, the instructions that came with the product were not good and should be improved. There were four long boards that were not identified in the list of parts. Two of them were shorter and then two of them were wider. The illustrations showed them at an angle so you really could not tell which are which.

    When I finally figured out what I thought they were, I had two parts wrong. My son had to come and help, and he finally got it together. But, it still has one bolt or screw that doesn't seem to fit into the hole it was supposed to fit. It was frustrating and it was a long, hard experience. I know the instructions said it recommends two adults and I’m a 92-year-old granny. I probably shouldn’t expect to do it but I did almost. The bench was not easy to put together, but it is usable and I like it. It looks good and I’m going to keep it. Except for that very frustrating experience in putting the bench together, everything else was fine. I also bought a cube planter box which was very simple and I was able to put that together with no problems.

    I made an order of 9 umbrellas at a cost of a little over $1550. First they wouldn't ship to address even though it didn't fit into any of their no ship restrictions, then they double charged me. THEY have my account charged with over $3100. When they "tried" to credit me the duplicate charge unsuccessfully, they also cancelled my order so at that time they owed me back the original charge. My account still has $3100+ coming out and I am not receiving umbrellas for the Memorial Day crowd I'm expecting.

    In 60 years of dealing with professional companies this is truly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have to file a dispute with my bank and wait up to 10 days to get my money back. Do not use this company unless you don't want your item and can do without your funds for nearly two weeks. #hayneedleworstin60years. I have filed BBB complaint and plan on finding out how to file for my NSF fees this is causing. Sometimes I'll spend more than I've lost, just for the principal, and I think those is going to be one of them.

    I recently placed an order in this site which is probably a huge mistake. The day after I placed my original order, they send me an email claimed that it was canceled due to some authorization problem. I thought there was something wrong with my credit card which is abnormal. Because I have not received any email or message from my bank. I contacted my bank immediately turns out nothing is wrong, and they have not heard anything from Hayneedle either. In my card the transaction was still pending at that moment. So I contacted Hayneedle after that, they told me because I'm a new customer, they have to verify my info. Therefore I provide all the info as they request. The customer service agent told me they will clear this up within 24 hours and will send me a new order number.

    Two days after that, I still haven't heard anything from them. The transaction was still remain pending. So I reached out to Hayneedle again. They ask me to verify info again and tell me they will take care of this asap. I was just trying to buy a chair not some highly sensitive item which might need to clarify my background. I just don't understand why they have to verify my info again. I told the agent if they can not fulfilled the order, it's fun, just don't hold my money. I'd like to buy somewhere else. The lady told me just to wait patiently. They will take care of it within 24 hours.

    Finally, they sent me a new order number a day after that. But the order shipping status is showing as pending. After I wait for another 4 days, it's still pending this morning. I contact them again this morning. They claimed the order will be shipped tomorrow and arrived by May 30. I ask them if they can ship the item early since I have been waiting for 2 weeks now. If I ordered at somewhere else, I probably already received it. The agent said no, because I have not paid for the fast shipping service. It's such a horrible shopping experience. Now I just hope I will receive the item by May 30. Really don't want to deal with them anymore.

    I've never had an order go right from Hayneedle. The item always ends up being back ordered and I find out days later that it'll be weeks longer than originally stated, the item is damaged or incomplete when I receive it, or some such nonsense. The customer service is non existent when I try to resolve any such claims. I'd buy literally anywhere else before Hayneedle, and if Hayneedle were the only option, I'd do without.

    I purchased a trellis that I can put roses on through Hayneedle because of the price and the product is wonderful. I went online looking for trellis and we wanted something as the dimensions that this one came with. I wanted something tall because I've only got a 6-foot fence. I cannot build a fence any higher than 6 feet. I have houses that look into my backyard and I wanted to strategically put the trellis to where I was blocking their view, looking into my backyard because I have a swimming pool there and I wanted privacy. I was very satisfied with my purchase. I just wish they would make some others as tall as this one and wider because I have other bushes that are strategically placed. When they grow up I want it to do as I’m doing with the rose bushes.

    We have a patio set that the chair pads were discolored from the sun and we decided to replace them. And this particular product from Hayneedle had a pattern that we liked and we just decided to purchase it. The process was easy and fast -- a standard online ordering. We've had people sitting out there -- my sister-in-law, my wife and I and we like the chair pads. They have a really great color. It stands out in the yard and neighbors have complimented it.

    I'm cheap and it doesn't stand out that they rob me on this. It was 49 bucks and it was a good deal. I got a percentage off. And if someone asks me about Hayneedle I'd tell them to try it out. The only other thing I think Hayneedle needs to do is, in some way, allow their items to be searchable on Amazon, because I go to Amazon first for everything and maybe with a little something that says, "See site for further discounts," that would help out.

    I like something that a friend has in her home and she told me she got it from Hayneedle. So I went online with Hayneedle and found something else similar and ordered it. I was really concerned whether the product could be any good but what my friend has looked good so that gave me a step up and I’m really pleased. It’s a storage bench for out on the patio and it’s easy to put together. All the parts were there, well-constructed, easy to wash down, holds the weight it says it’s gonna hold and it looks like it’s going to last.

    From start to finish, there wasn’t a problem with the online ordering process and it was easy. It’s a friendly site and I could do it on my phone or I could do it on the computer. But cost is a separate issue. The same thing was listed on another site for about $30 more. I paid $80 or $90 and Hayneedle said it was on sale since it normally costs $150. I had seen it first on Hayneedle so I knew that’s what I was gonna use. So price-wise, it was very nice. Hayneedle met my expectations and exceeded it. I was pleased because there are some out there that you can order a piece of furniture from, then you get it and it’s pressed with lousy stuff. Wayfair is the one that’s known for that. I have been cautious because I’ve seen other people do that, and when I saw my friend's, I was so pleased. And people will be asking me where I got it so I would also be telling them it's from Hayneedle.

    Purchased a grouping of 5 bookshelves for one price (important to note I did not purchase 5 separate but identical cases). Nearly $5,000 is removed from my account. Almost simultaneously, I receive an email saying that 3 bookcases have shipped, and a REFUND for $1700 for the other 2 bookcases. I wanted the 5 bookcase grouping. No one called or emailed to ask if I wanted the remaining 3. I did not. Called Hayneedle and they told me the items already shipped and I had to refuse the delivery from my local delivery company in order to get my $3000 back. Several phone calls to them later, I refused the delivery. Was told I would not see a refund until the items reached Hayneedle, which could take weeks. I once again call Hayneedle who informed me they can't check with the local company at that hour and I would need to call back *and re-explain* the whole ordeal.

    I wait and call back, re-explain my situation, wait on hold once again for 20 minutes and am told I should see a refund "in five days." THAT SAME DAY, I receive an email notification that Hayneedle is refunding me $52??!! So they processed some sort of refund in a day, but I have no idea what it's for. Meanwhile, they're still holding several thousand of my dollars hostage when all they had to do in the first place was ask me if I wanted a partial order and I would have refused it. Again. I didn't order 5 SEPARATE shelves. I chose one item that was a grouping of 5, and they clearly could not fulfill that order, but sent it anyway. Somehow it became my problem to make at least 10 phone calls to various CSRs and the other delivery company. And tomorrow, I'll have to spend some MORE time to call them and figure out why they're refunding me $52 when they owe me over $3000!! WORST company EVER. Will NEVER order from them again.

    I have ordered several large furniture items over the past 4 years from Hayneedle without issue. A little over a month ago I ordered a patio set and it still hasn't arrived. This is not Hayneedle's fault but rather EFW, the freight company contracted for delivery but they are still taking full responsibility. Hayneedle is doing everything they can and even reshipped my patio set, however this shipment isn't getting to me either. They are in contact with me every day and calling EFW for updates. They also refunded my money for all of the trouble.

    EFW is supposed to call me tomorrow but I've heard this many times over the last month and keep getting the runaround. Hopefully my patio set arrives at some point in the near future. I will continue ordering from Hayneedle but until this local freight company is no longer delivering for them, I will only buy smaller items delivered via FedEx. It is unfortunate and I really hope they find another freight carrier in the Fort Worth area soon.

    I ordered a propane firepit on 05/15/18 and according to the website, they would not charge my acct UNTIL the item shipped. They DID in fact debit my acct immediately... The next morning I checked my bank acct and they CHARGED ME AGAIN. So I called and spoke with Kris and she noted my acct, I called later since I had not gotten a call or email (I emailed them as well as speaking with Kris) to find out that someone had filled out the form to have the second charge dropped. I also had already filed a dispute with my bank since both charges were still pending. So they offered NOTHING for the situation.

    Now I have to hurry up and wait to see if the second charge goes thru or not... In the meantime I will have charges because I already had checks out...     My first time shopping at Hayneedle and they cancelled my order for unknown reasons. PayPal and my credit company have approved the transaction and I have the email confirmations, but apparently that wasn't enough for Hayneedle. I have a credit rating in excess of 800, and the credit limit on the card far exceeds that of the purchased items. They told me they had to submit "forms" through customer service to rectify the situation. Needless to say, I will not do business with these clowns again. WAY TO GO WITH FIRST IMPRESSIONS, HAYNEEDLE!

    Updated on 05/10/2018: No resolution was ever accomplished by Hayneedle. Their reply to my review was an apology and a promise that they would credit me a 15% discount on my purchase once the "forms" and process to clarify my order was complete. How many days does it take Hayneedle to determine the difference between a billing and a shipping address? Another reviewer stated in his review that he too was offered a 15% discount to resolve his order issue, but he never heard from Hayneedle again.

    It seems these guys at Hayneedle have become adept at deceiving customers, but pretty inept at customer service. I won't be needing their 15% discount as I have already purchased the same items at Overstock. I'd rather pay more to a business that provides competent customer service than to patronize an incompetent business for the sake of saving a few bucks. Needless to say, I'm pretty teed off and will not be doing business with them again.

    We ordered patio furniture and an outdoor dining set from Hayneedle. We got an email saying our furniture had been picked up with a tracking number. After 8 days furniture was still at site of origin so called shipping company, EFW. They said they would look into it and call us back. After not hearing from EFW in several days, called Hayneedle. They called EFW and was told they were trying to locate furniture and give them 72 hours. Hayneedle gave us a 10% discount and said they would get back to us. 4 days later still no word from EFW or Hayneedle so again called Hayneedle who once again called EFW. They said we told we would hear from EFW by Monday. Yes, again Monday came and went with no call nor email so I called EFW. The manager there said they were still unable to locate our furniture even with checking video recordings and it had been so long that he doubted it ever would be.

    He said they would do paperwork and contact Hayneedle. 4 days later and still no call or email from anyone so called Hayneedle. As usual they say to wait 72 hours for EFW to contact them. Called Hayneedle following day and was finally told our furniture was stolen. They would return our money but our furniture was out of stock until October and no other patio furniture was offered. Terrible customer service! Awful shipping company! Will never use Hayneedle again!

It came pre-drilled and while this is not unique to Hayneedle, anything that's pre-drilled is sometimes not drilled straight. So, not all the screws went in properly.     Made a big ticket purchase (532.00 Dollars) for outdoor furniture. It was shipped by Estes Trucking to Orlando. I had scheduled confirmed delivery time and date. Had to take off a half day from work. Transport company called and said they had to reschedule by never gave me a day. They called the next day to reschedule and for the following day and again I take a half day off work. Transport company then calls again to confirm and within hours called again to cancel. Pressed as to why and was told they could not find my furniture. It was delivered to their warehouse. Now it was lost. Mind you I had already taken of two days from work.

    It’s a huge red flag when a company has the ability for consumers to leave reviews removed. I’ve attempted twice to contact the company regarding a damaged gazebo I received and they just ignore me. Their customer service is horrible.     I ordered wind chimes on Walmart.com less than 24 hours ago. I called to cancel the order because I received some as a gift. After calling Walmart I was told I had to call Hayneedle. After explaining to customer service at Hayneedle that I wanted to cancel my order it became ridiculous. It had not even been shipped yet but I was given the runaround, I was spoken to in a very condescending manner. I was told to just ship it back when I received it... yet the whole point of my call was to cancel the order. The customer service representative was far from patient and extremely rude and could not explain to me why I couldn’t cancel the shipment even though it had not even been shipped out yet. Just told me to ship it back when I got it. Will not do business with again because as a professional businesswoman I refuse to be treated and spoken to the way I was.

    I received a flyer from Hayneedle, which I was not familiar with, and visited the website. The coupon offered a 10% discount and free shipping. I found two items I wanted, but discovered the promo code was not on the flyer, which the associate confirmed. So I had to call, was on hold for ten minutes, then another five while the associate tried to find a code. When applied, the expensive item was excluded. Very aggravating.     We purchased an "In Stock" sofa and loveseat set from Hayneedle on 4-20-18 for an extremely low price. Estimated delivery the first 2 weeks of May. On 4-27-18 we were notified that the items were now "OUT OF STOCK" and our order had been cancelled. I called Hayneedle and was informed by their customer service representative that it was a supplier issue and admitted that Hayneedle was a furniture "Broker" and did not keep anything in stock themselves. The sofa and loveseat still show being available individually from Hayneedle at a much higher price, but not as the lower priced set. The representative claimed they have "no control over their suppliers" and by the time Hayneedle processed our order their supplier must have sold out of the items.

    The take away here is, ordering an item that Hayneedle represents as IN STOCK does not necessarily mean you will receive it. Apparently it is dependent on whether their supplier still has the item by the time Hayneedle gets around to sending them your order. I am very disappointed with this Hayneedle experience along with being surprised that Hayneedle apparently sells from their suppliers inventories and does not stock anything themselves.

    After a second call to Hayneedle and speaking with a supervisor, I was informed by her that Hayneedle chose not to honor their advertised bargain pricing of this sofa and loveseat set, even the sofa and loveseat are still available individually at the much higher price, falling back on their User Agreement that allows them to cancel any order for any reason at any time, including supposed mispricing. I understand a pricing error, I don't have much tolerance for falsely representing the reason for the cancellation as "OUT OF STOCK" when it was admittedly for refusing to honor an advertised price posted by Hayneedle.

    I rarely write a bad review but in Hayneedle's case I'll make an exception. On 4/16/18 I received two e-mails from Hayneedle stating my order had been received and the item had been shipped. I was given a tracking number and was charged at that time for the 36" glass table top. On 4/23/18 the order had not been received nor was I able to track the item through FedEx with the tracking number. I called Hayneedle and indeed there was no item sent or the ability to track it. The representative stated it had been straightened out and I should "now see some movement."

    On 4/25/18 no movement had occurred and I called again. This representative found the same problem as the person I spoke to on 4/23/18. The representative on 4/25/18 felt the problem had been corrected and "movement" should now occur. It hasn't. I'm still at step one but $80.00 in the hole. Hayneedle is not a fledgling company. They have been around for quite some time.Their website is easy to shop, placing an order and being charged for the item when the order is placed. Receiving the item is another matter. Their distribution is very, very poor where other company sites are much more reliable.

    I ordered a computer desk for my daughter on Wal-Mart.com's website. After 2 weeks and no desk I contacted Wal-Mart to find out what the issue was. They informed me that the desk was actually from Hayneedle and I needed to contact them. I called Hayneedle to find out what the problem was. They informed me the desk was back ordered. I explained to them that the desk was for my daughter's 10th birthday the following weekend and that's why we ordered it ahead of time. Well the supervisor was rude and when I asked why no one emailed, called or texted to let me know it was back ordered he didn't know. But I was going to get a discount and it would be here May the 9th.

    So our entire family postponed my daughter's party until the desk arrived because she was getting a computer and other bedroom furniture to go with it. Well I just logged into the website to find the order was canceled again no email, text or call. Her party is this weekend and again no desk. They said the manufacturer canceled it because it would be over 30 days. I talked to the in-between this time to let them know I still wanted it and they still canceled it. This is why I don't shop online and will never buy anything from this company ever again.

    I saw a Finley Home Turner console table on Hayneedle. I liked the color and the size of the table, as well as the price. It was perfect for what I needed so I decided to get it.     I just began using your company and was initially pleased. I ordered several outdoor furniture items. All was well until the delivery of the daybed and planters. I used EFW's (your shipping vendor) electronic scheduler to set up delivery for today 4/23. I took the day off and was waiting until 30 minutes before the delivery window was closed.     I ordered a dresser and two night stands from Hayneedle on March 30, 2018. It shipped on April 2nd and I have yet to see it. April 21 now I live in a somewhat rural area and have had a very hard time getting the shipping company to deliver. They are waiting for more items to be delivered to my area. I am only an hour from an major city. Could it be 6 months until they get more items on the truck. My issue is a lack of communication from the shipping company. Tell me that they will call to schedule and never call. Yesterday got an email from Hayneedle that the shipping company would call to schedule yet again and never heard from them.     My stepson is into tractors and he never had a ride-along tractor before. It was the perfect gift for him so I bought a John Deere Mini Loader Tractor as a Christmas present. Ordering online from Hayneedle was really easy. I googled "ride-along tractor" and Hayneedle was the first or second to pop up. The tractor from Hayneedle was a little bit cheaper than on the other site, by $20 or $40, and they got good reviews as well. Then, the quality of the tractor is great. Unfortunately, I have nowhere else to put it indoors so it’s been outside in the rain and stuff, but it still works completely fine. Assembly was a little tricky but it worked out fine.     Hayneedle's website was really easy to navigate. However, when I go back to a page and hit back, it loads really slowly. Still, I purchased an oval wall mirror and a table from them. Also, I found the same console table on two different spots on Hayneedle. One for selling for $199 and the other one was $189. I'm pretty good about shopping online but I'm done with that.

    Furthermore, I had been on Global Office Furniture. While I was on Hayneedle the last time, they had ads for Global which I thought was pretty cool. Whoever made that relationship work made a smart move. Nevertheless, people wouldn't believe how the mirror I bought was packaged. The shipping was perfect and I couldn't ask for more.     I purchased $1200 worth of patio furniture several weeks ago. I received a call from the shipment company (not Hayneedle) that they were missing the largest piece of my order - a $1000 piece of furniture. I called Hayneedle who said it would take 72 BUSINESS hours to find out what happened to it. That's almost 2 weeks of nothing! I called again today and was told they still don't know where it is and I should just be patient. I told them to ship me out a new set of furniture that I already PAID for. They said they could not do that. I better have my refund in less than 72 non-business hours.

    I recently purchased a beautiful desk from Hayneedle, and after reading reviews - became a bit nervous. Overall, the shopping experience was easy and pleasant. The checkout process was simple, and after my order remained at "in-fulfillment" for two days I was notified that it had shipped, and it was delivered the next day. Sadly however, the desk I ordered arrived with cosmetic damage. I immediately reached out to Hayneedle via their customer service link, as well as through their Facebook page. I supplied photos of the damage and asked for a resolution. To my surprise, only a few minutes after sending the message I was contacted by a wonderful customer service representative (Kari), who apologized and went above and beyond to make the situation right. I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome and appreciate that instead of sending the damaged desk back and having them throw it away, they've suggested donating it to a charity.

    Overall, this has been an excellent experience. With shipping you always take risks, however Hayneedle truly stood behind their product and are working to make it right. Outside of the cosmetic damage on the piece I received, I can say that it's an excellent product. It seems to be very solid, well built, sturdy and very beautiful. I'm confident that I made the right choice in shopping with Hayneedle, and I'll certainly be ordering more!

    I just want to clarify, this was a brand new purchase. We sold our old bed and ordered this bunk bed assuming we would have it delivered by the original date provided by Hayneedle. We purchased this bed on 3/1/18. We have now been without a bed for our daughters for 5 weeks. A credit for missing parts does not help me 1. purchase a new bed or 2. put this bed together. Yes I would like assistance in getting the parts. We have emails stating the parts are no longer available however the product is still offered on your website (this was the email sent to customer service).

    I took a chance with Hayneedle after a recent negative experience with Ikea Online, I thought my experience would be better, so far it has not been such. I just moved and got a 10% off coupon with them, so I figured I would give them a chance, they seemed to have a nice selection and good pricing. I ordered two items, they billed my debit card for the correct amount and I received the confirmation via e-mail along with FedEx tracking the following day. That part was fine, but then my debit card got hit with another charge 24 hours later, appeared they charged me twice for one of the items. So I sent two e-mails over a 24 hour period to Customer Service, and never got a response.

    Then when I got home from work, I see the original charge amount changed and is now higher and does not match anything I bought in terms of cost. So I attempted to call Customer Service, the automated system said they are "experiencing higher than normal call volume and the wait will be 30 minutes or more" at this point I did not bother holding because I had to take care of something else. It waits to be seen if the two items arrive undamaged and correct, but the excessive charges are still unanswered at the time of this writing.

    Needless to say my first experience with Hayneedle likely will be my last. If I don't get a response, I will dispute this with my bank. I order a lot of items from Amazon, had issues and never had to call them, either online chat, e-mails are answered promptly and resolved with a discount or account credit on items. I guess there is a reason Amazon is taking over after all.

    Poor marketing practices. I signed up to receive emails because I really liked the items that I saw on their website, but was not ready to make a purchase just yet. On multiple occasions, I was emailed pictures of items I really wanted to purchase, but could not find anywhere once I was on the site. The links provided on the email did not correlate to the items I was looking to purchase, and the volume of products offered on the website made it next to impossible to find. Need to clean up your email marketing.

    I ordered off the Walmart website and tried to cancel an order of the Palazzo dining table. Walmart stated to contact Hayneedle the seller but that’s not who I ordered from. I was under the impression I ordered from Walmart. Hayneedle couldn’t cancel the order because it was already out for delivery. They stated I couldn’t refuse to accept the package either. They said accept the item and it’s $21 to return for shipping. I shouldn’t have to pay for shipping and I tried to cancel it. The package arrived and it was damaged on the outside straight thru the package material as well. I noticed a broken leg in the package and I immediately stopped unwrapping the item.     I purchased a sofa from Hayneedle. The reviews mentioned the sofa was firm, but what I ultimately received is ridiculous. There's no give to the cushions at all, and the whole thing tilts downwards. It's so uncomfortable and it's ruined what had been our favorite room in the house. I tried to return it and was told I'd have to pay $400 for return shipping. There's nothing in the return policy that says you have to pay hundreds of dollars to return a product, or else I'd never have purchased from this company.

    We Ordered 8 Adirondack chairs on 10/15/17 and received end of October. Chairs had to be constructed by a professional and was costly (very laborious). Once the 8 chairs were completed we placed them on our patio late November for a Thanksgiving celebration with family. It’s now March and the chairs have been on our patio about 4 months. In 4 months the chairs have deteriorated are unusable. They are splintering and splitting not only at joints but in the center of arms and seat boards. We called Hayneedle “customer service” and we were told the chairs had normal wear and tear. Also, the “customer service supervisor” said she also had the chairs and she had to sand and repair them every few months. Who would do that?!

    We were hoping for a solution and some form of restitution, even a credit to select a different chair but they offered nothing. Also, I would add the “customer service supervisor” was very unsympathetic and had attitude. Beware of purchasing anything from Hayneedle, they don’t stand behind the products they sell you and customer service is nonexistent. They have lost my business permanently. Oh! Hayneedle, please don’t give me a bogus reply, you had your chance to facilitate some form of resolution and give even a small degree of customer service.

    Would give them no stars if that was an option! Ordered a loft bed for my son, took almost 3 weeks to even ship. Was supposed to be delivered on March 19. Well that day came and went and no package delivered. I checked the tracking only to find out that it was returned to Hayneedle on March 14 due to being damaged in transit. No one ever contacted me to tell me nor did a new one get sent to me or a refund given. I waited like a week before contacting them thinking they would just send me a new one but I was wrong.

    I called today and they told me all they can do is refund me my money and is have to reorder the bed. Then when I asked why another wasn't just sent out or why I had to call 2 weeks after they received my order back to find out what happened since no one had contacted me, she told me they had no way of knowing it was damaged because no one told them and the returned order must not have been processed yet!! Wtf!!! So now I'm supposed to reorder it and give them my money again when they were going to just keep it if I hadn't called??? Unbelievable!! I will NEVER order anything from here again!

    I've been ordering from Hayneedle for the last five years and every time I've done that, it's always been really easy. I did pretty much everything from my phone and their mobile app was great. I got a desk once, and then when I ordered a lamp, the first one that came in didn’t work as something was wrong with it. Hayneedle had it replaced within two days which was great. It was also cool that they told me to keep the broken lamp. I gave it to a friend of mine and he fixed it. The quality of the items I got was great as well. I'd tell my friends that I had a good experience with Hayneedle and they were easy to shop with.     Ordered faux wicker sofa for porch. Sofa arrived, we assembled, and it proved defective because the legs were not evenly sitting on each end. Went online to process the return and discovered that the return amount was half of the original cost of the sofa itself!     Great Furniture for a Bonfire or Fireplace. We bought a bar from Hayneedle for our small business startup, finding one that looked great and was a perfect dimensional fit for the area it would go into. Full disclosure - I happen to be a professional engineer of 40 plus years and my wife used to be an attorney. Between the two of us we have yet to get this monstrosity assembled. Ill fitting parts, useless instructions, awful scrap metal chunks that they call hardware, and a pound of glue so far to stick some pieces back together, our current thinking is to make a nice bonfire outside this Fall. The stuff roughly follows IKEA designs, but was made in China, poor quality knock-off wise. We are spreading the word among our industry association to avoid this company like the plague.

    I’ll start from the beginning. Just like many of you I found Hayneedle on Google and loved the pictures on the website! (The problem is my fault because I did not do my research on this company & READ ALL reviews!!) So I placed an order for 2 dressers on the 22nd. The same day I received an email telling me they canceled my order because my address was incorrect (what?! 1st bad thing). So after going back and checking to see if I made a mistake, which I didn’t, I have them a call & the representative had to put in a request to start the delivery process over. I finally receive confirmation with a tracking number on the 28th. The tracking information hasn’t updated since this day. It says “Picked Up At Origin”. So I called Hayneedle on 3/9 & they say it’ll take about 2 more weeks because the furniture has to be flown in.

    So 3/12 I call again because it was odd to me that the tracking website info still didn’t update. So on 3/12 they tell me the dresser will be delivered this week & someone will call me to set up delivery date. NO CALL & so I call again on 3/13-3/14 & the same line was given both days “someone will call”. So at this point I’m just disappointed & say I’d like to cancel the order. The representative tells me I need to call the shipping company & tell them I don’t want to furniture or when they deliver the furniture to me, refuse to accept furniture (What?!). Never in my life have I ever heard such crap! At the end of the convo she tells me she was able to switch destinations & that I would receive money back when they receive furniture back. This is very disappointing!! Stay away from Hayneedle!!!

    My desk was delivered damaged. The right side door was completely broken off of the hinges on the desk. I spoke with a customer service rep THAT day with the delivery men still at my house. He put me on hold, called the manufacturer and returned to my call. He told me that the manufacturer has a door to send and assured me that the door was being delivered the next day or following day and that I would have within a few days. Well, that was over 10 days ago!! He told me he would keep me up to date on the shipping information and events.

    To date, NO email or calls. I have emailed Hayneedle and have received absolutely no response either. This seems to be the norm with Hayneedle customer service. I have been reading reviews and it appears this is how they do business with complaints and damaged products. I am discouraged and disappointed as to Hayneedle's approach to customer service and their customers that have received damaged products. They sure charged my card quick enough though and got paid. Unfortunately, if this is how they rectify complaints with their customers, it will definitely have an impact on using this company again.

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will end up with a sub-standard product, poor customer service and the potential victim of fraud and theft. We bought a twin over full bunk bed for $175 from Hayneedle approximately three weeks before we were set to move and it arrived fairly quickly. Once we moved, we started to put the bed together only to find out that three of the pieces were faulty. The screws didn't fit into the threading, and it was for the top part of the bed - the part that would kill the person on the bottom if it failed. So, we called Hayneedle to find out what we should do and to get replacement parts.

    They told me that they did not have replacement parts (other than screws) for the bed and so they would have to send us another 110lb package that we could open up, fish through for the parts, replace the faulty parts and ship back. Seeing as how the bed was 80% built, we really didn't have a choice but to wait. That was on Sunday, March 4th. The Customer Service rep put me on hold and went to place the order. She came back on and said that since we had changed addresses, she would need to place an entirely new order through their website so that the new bed could be shipped to our new address. I offered to have it shipped to the old address (which we still have access to) but she said no. Then she said that since she was placing the order through the website, she needed to verify our payment method. Told us that the website would charge our card for another $175 but would IMMEDIATELY refund the $175. Again, had no choice.

    On Wednesday, I called Hayneedle to ask why I had not been refunded my $175. I was told this time that a refund had been issued to my bank and that it would take four business days to clear - so to expect it by Thursday morning. Wasn't too happy that I was now out $350 from my bank account so that I could get ONE complete order. Shouldn't have to pay twice to rectify a bad product. The new bed didn't arrive until the 9th (the kids were coming to stay that day) and when it did arrive, the boxes were open and ripped (see pictures). We dug through and found the pieces that we needed (which were dented) and we basically said screw it and finished building the bunk bed because we needed a place for the children to sleep.

    I called Hayneedle to set up the FedEx pickup and to inquire why the refund STILL had not appeared in my account. "That's strange", they replied, it usually takes four business days. "Have you checked with your bank?" The Customer Service rep "turned in a request to their accounting department for a review" and assured me that they would review it on Friday and my money would be in my account by the weekend. Meanwhile, we are on the phone with our nationally known, reputable bank who is saying that they have no record of a refund. We decide to give it another day. VERY UNHAPPY, but willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Long story short... It is Tuesday, March 13th. My dented bed is done. The package has not been picked up. And, 9 days after being charged a second time for replacement parts that came damaged, I have not received a refund. The bank still has no record of the refund.

    Called Hayneedle AGAIN. Received this reply: "I have reviewed your order and found your refund was issued 03/04/18 and should have cleared to your account within four business days of that date. We have opened a request with our accounting team to ensure this credit was correctly issued and released to your financial institution. Please allow us 24 hours to complete this review. Once we have a response from our account team we will respond to you directly with the information we find. We certainly apologize for this delay and appreciate your patience with us regarding your refund." Wait! I thought the accounting review was initiated LAST THURSDAY??? At this point, this company has tied up almost $200 of my money with their **. To me, this is nothing short of theft.

    Hayneedle's website looked interesting and I looked it occasionally. I rarely purchase online, so I'm not a big consumer. But my experience with Hayneedle was fine and I was happy with them the one time I used them a month or so ago. Online ordering with Hayneedle was fine and went smoothly, and the overall process was simple. I got a fire pit that I saw at their site. But I haven't taken it out of the box yet and I just put it in storage. I'm planning to use it but I'm remodeling the cottage I bought so I have no place for it right now. Purchasing the fire pit was a spur of the moment thing. I didn't need to get it now, but I'm sure I'll use it eventually and find a place for it. I get Hayneedle's ads now. The problem with buying things online is that you start getting ads from everybody all the time and I don't like that.

    I ordered a mirror on the 20th of Feb, paid extra for express shipping and was promised a 2 day delivery. When the product did not arrive I called on the 26th, and was told that there was a shipping delay and the product was with FEDEX. They also provided a tracking number, which shows that no product was ever shipped, only a label was created. On the 5th of March I contacted them again and was told that someone would look into it. Today is March 7th and still no one has contacted me. At the very least this is "fraud", as they have taken my money, not delivered my product and given false information, and a fraudulent FEDEX tracking number. If it's not in stock then they should not have accepted the order.

    I ordered a full over full bunk bed on February 26th and I got a tracking number March 2nd stating my order had a shipping order and would be at my home by March 5th by the end of the day. I waited all day and even threw my son's old beds out because I knew the bunk bed was on the way, let's say it never came so I called FedEx for them to tell me that they don't have it. So I called Hayneedle and was told that the item was out of stock! Most websites let you know when they're out and won't allow you to order but Hayneedle did! I'm beyond upset.     I ordered 2 products from this company on Feb 26, 2018. They charged my debit card 278.00. One item shipped on Feb 27, 2018. They took 203.00 out of my account. I called customer service (A Joke). No customer service there, I was on hold for over 30 minutes and then was told. They placed a HOLD the day I ordered (the hold I was told would be released by my bank the day it shipped. However it already shipped and my bank said they placed the hold till March 3, 2018 so only the company could remove it. Obviously it did not get removed).

    The day it shipped I got another charge, 2 charges for the same items so far. But they took more money out of my account when the second item shipped. I discussed this with my bank. They said usually only Hotels place holds against Debit cards... Never heard of companies selling items doing this. I have yet to receive any items and already will never do business with this want to be Wayfair want to be company again. I would suggest stick with companies that are tried and true. The discount they offer seemed nice until they charged me twice what I ordered. Buyer Beware!!

    Several months ago I ordered a garden arbor. I wasn’t able to assemble it due to winter weather. I attempted to put it together yesterday only to find the instructions were HORRIBLE, there were missing parts, the screw holes don’t work & it’s extremely flimsy. I will attempt to GLUE it together.     So I received a gift of 6 bar stools purchased from Hayneedle.com and they were beautiful and arrived on time. We put them together and they looked beautiful. First use, a woman sat on the stool and the bar on the base cracked in half (she was a tiny woman). We called Hayneedle and the rep told us we were past the 30 day warranty so there was nothing she could do. We glued the cracked stool and moved it out of commission. Next time we used the stools again, a 120 lb woman had the same experience and the same break in the base of the chair.

    Again called Hayneedle. Got the runaround, spoke to a manager who confirmed that it was pass the 30 day warranty but they could offer me a coupon for my next purchase on the cost of those two broken bar stools. I asked what about the other 4 that could and probably will break - he said nothing we can do about that. I asked if they would take these stools off their site to avoid this happening to someone else that may actually get hurt, he said he would relay my concerns. Conclusion Do Not Purchase FROM HAYNEEDLE.COM although the bar stools look beautiful one use proven they will not hold up. Wasted close to $1,000.

    I placed a order by mistake. Minutes after I did I tried to cancel online but was impossible. You can pay hundreds of dollars online but they do not offer the option to cancel online. You have to call but it does not work...I called to their number that shows online and the person on the phone said that they could not locate my order by number that takes 30 to 40 minutes to show up in the system, but that he will cancel for me with the order number. I also replied to email received to cancel the order just in case but nothing worked. Two days after that I receive a email that they are sending the items. I still in the process of stopping the shipping and finding out how many days will take to see my money back. Lesson learned; do not order from unknown companies.     The TV stand that I purchased from Hayneedle was exactly what I was looking for, and ordering it online was very easy. It came in the exact amount of time that they said it would, and the cost was fair. My experience with Hayneedle was good, and I have had that TV stand for about four weeks now. It has two hinged doors, and I like what I got. There is a little thing that catches the door to keep it shut, and one of them was bent and I had to bend it myself, but everything else was perfect. However, the box that was used to deliver the TV stand was so big that the UPS guy could hardly carry it to my house. It could have been split up in a couple of boxes. It was so heavy that once I got it inside, I had a hard time getting things out of it and moving it around so that I could assemble the table.     I ordered three barstools from Hayneedle which came today. When I made the order, I went through PayPal to pay for the account. I believe that I had an account already with Hayneedle but apparently I didn’t. That same evening I also ordered a nightstand as well and I wondered why I wasn’t going through PayPal and then realized I didn’t have an account so I opened up an account with Hayneedle. After everything came today I called Hayneedle to see if they could give me rewards points based on the three barstools that I bought which were $545. Hayneedle claim that they were not able to do that because I paid through PayPal and per their policy could not grant me rewards points.

    So since this was my first time ever buying anything from Hayneedle only give them one star. The supervisor said that there was nothing she could do based on the amount of rewards points I would’ve gotten would’ve accumulated to what the attendant said was $30-$40 which I could’ve use towards the purchase of something else but they won’t honor it which I think is very shoddy business.

    At this point I've given up hope that I will ever receive a TV stand. I originally placed an order January 29, which arrived late with pieces missing (including all hardware and instructions, and the legs to the stand). When I contacted Hayneedle for a replacement, they were only able to offer a measly 10% discount on the reorder, with no expedited shipping. After calming down, I was relieved when the replacement stand said it was shipped the next day (Feb 12)! I had renewed hope that I would have the stand by the following weekend.

    This was my first time ordering from this company and I will never order from this company again. The customer service was horrible. The shipment was damaged (the table top and a shelf on one of the end tables) and at first I asked for replacement parts, but after I had to send several emails to get an answer as to when I would know about the parts, I decided to return the merchandise. That proved much harder than I thought. I told them the box was badly damaged and I didn't think I could return it in the box.

    They told me I should go to Walmart and ask for a box. I'm pretty sure Walmart does not have 4'x4' boxes laying around for people to take. When I told them that, they told me to try Lowe's or Home Depot. I'm not driving all of the place to try and find a box. The company should be sending me one. I ended up using a roll of packing tape and a roll of duct tape to tape up the box and return the merchandise. I feel like I should charge them for the tape. After I returned the merchandise, the shelf for the end table showed up, but I never received the table top. As my headline states, I will never again order from this company. This was my first purchase and I was thoroughly disappointed.

    I ordered a console table online and it was very easy to do, but the table came broken. When I called customer service, it didn't take a gazillion buttons to push to talk to an actual person and I like that, plus they were super quick to help me. They looked if they could find replacement parts, but they couldn't so they gave me 25% off the order or I could ship it back and they would send me a new one. I was really pleased with the process and felt like it was really good and attentive. Hayneedle has good customer service and the console table had good quality for the price. I'd definitely try them again.

    My mother normally likes to shop online for things, and she purchased a headboard from Hayneedle a few weeks back. It was all chrome and it was probably fine, but we returned it. It wasn't the exact look that she wanted. She was still debating between what kind of a headboard to get, like a tufted one, and I didn’t like to go with that headboard in my new place. I’ve noticed that it’s hard sometimes to buy furniture online because it’s not always the same as the picture. Ordering furniture online is tough to do except for certain furniture. For coffee tables and headboards, it’s different than seeing them on the floor in the store and then you are comparing. Overall, it was a good experience with Hayneedle, but it depends on how good of an eye one has for online shopping versus seeing it and having it put together. It ends up with the buyer and the purchaser’s eye.

    My parents sent a $500 Simon gift card for a gift to my daughter to purchase a hanging chair for her room, she went through a recent tragic experience. Placed order. Next day I get an email that purchase did not go through, they had several different reasons. One being address did not match gift card, maybe instead of letting money process tell people using gift cards to register address. NOW it took a release of over 5 days (until I called Hayneedle to release funds). Now Simon gift cards is placing their own 10-day hold on refund (their policy).

    HAYNEEDLE how about not accepting gift cards??? Good idea instead of putting people through this hassle. Then I decided to purchase gift myself. Put in my American Express card, oh wait. I can’t, you don’t accept American Express! I now see why. Chair at great price, but not worth hassle. Other chairs can be easily purchased at other reputable companies without the hassle. These companies also make returning easy. Very big thumbs down. Sad we were so excited to get this chair and try your company. Never again. Now sitting here not being able to decorate daughter's room on her break.

    It was the first time I've ever done purchasing at Hayneedle and I had a good experience. They had the color and the style of the corner cabinet I wanted. Ordering online was very easy and while the quality of the cabinet is what I expected for its price, I feel the backing is a little less sturdy. In fact, it was flimsier than what I expected. And while it would be fine for my foot traffic, if you had a lot of people coming in and using it, it would break down a lot quicker than you would have hoped.

    My first experience with Hayneedle was satisfactory. I googled for a floor standing mirror and it went through a couple of different places. Hayneedle had some good reviews, that’s why I used them. I ordered one for Christmas time, less than two months ago, and the experience was very easy. I liked the appearance of the product although its quality is around the middle of the row. It’s a floor mirror with a drawer on it and while I was trying to put the drawer in I pushed the front of the door through. I then had to glue it back together. It’s not like it’s a big mirror, and one can tell it’s a self-assembled type product. Still, if anyone is thinking about purchasing from Hayneedle, I’d say, “Go for it”,

    This furniture is in a covered patio at our vacation home. It looks beautiful and is comfortable. We came back for the winter and the legs were rusting on our patio. We purchased some rubber feet to prevent that and in trying to put them on, the legs just crumbled in my hands. The bottom of the legs broke off with rust spilling out. The ad says all weather and powder coated. This should not happen so quickly. Hayneedle will not do anything, nor the manufacturer.

    Hayneedle had the only bar stools that I was looking for, and they were reasonably priced, so I was really happy with that. It was the style that I want, and they also had the height that I needed as the others were too high. Hayneedle’s online ordering process was excellent. After I ordered, my purchase were arrived within three days. That was even better than Amazon, and I was really amazed. These bar stools were the first things I bought from Hayneedle, and they’re still in the box because I’m moving to Florida. Hayneedle is a great company and I had a great experience with them. Where I work, I had mentioned that I had gotten the bar stools, and a lot of the girls there said that they get stuff from Hayneedle too, and it’s really good.

    When I did a search for what I wanted, Hayneedle happened to have what I needed. I ordered a wall hanging jewelry mirror from them online a month ago and the experience went well.     My daughter bought something very similar to the cabinet I bought from Hayneedle at Target. She broke it when she put it together so I found the cabinet online that looked like it and I bought it for her. The ordering process was easy because I was able to do it and I'm not good at that kind of stuff. It was delivered like they said it was going to be, it's put together, and it's working fine. The cabinet is blue and she's got it sitting in the living room against the wall with stuff on top of it. There are two doors that open and two shelves that you can put stuff in. It's a cute little piece of furniture. The quality is better than the one that she bought before and it seems like it was sturdier.

    This is a terrible company. We ordered a vanity set for our daughter and they sent us two of the same side mirrors and a lot of the wood was scratched. Obviously they sent us a used one. When we contacted them for a replacement set they offered us a $20 credit to go purchase a new piece with another store. Well $20 isn't going to get us very far and when we asked to return the set for a refund (at this point, after 6 emails, it wasn't worth arguing with them) they ignored our request and 4 more emails later we still have not gotten a response back. Now we are sitting here with a box full of wood that we can't use and our daughter is without her Christmas present. Terrible company, with terrible customer service. Don't waste your money!

    I bought outdoor cushions from this company based on the description on their website. Once the seat cushions arrived, they didn’t seem like the same product being sold on the website. The gray color was not as described and more importantly, we weren’t able to sit on them because they were so uncomfortable. I called the company to request a return. That is when they started to make me feel like I made the mistake. They challenged, in a demeaning manner, my opinion of the cushions and insisted that they were comfortable and that nothing is wrong with them.

    After much back and forth, they agree to accept the return but stated that I have to pay for return shipping. Again, took more back and forth to convince them that the items are not what was described and that they should pay for return shipping which they ultimately agreed to with an ultimatum that this would be the last time they do this. Their demeanor throughout was not making me feel like a valued customer at all.

    Went to FedEx to drop the cushions in the bags that they came in and was surprised to learn that they won’t accept the shipment in the current bags. Called Hayneedle and they instructed me to go to furniture or grocery stores to try to get some free boxes that would be big enough to accommodate the large deep seat cushions. I’m still trying to find boxes. I’ve never been subjected to this humiliating and arduous experience by ANY online vendor. Needless to say, won’t be doing any business with these unprofessional folks and will aim to spread the word. If there was a less than zero star rating I would have picked it.
