I bought a cabinet from Hayneedle that I'm gonna be using in my kitchen, and I had some issues with the way they took the money out of my checking account. I bought two products that both cost $30 and they went into the checking account. They shipped them separately so a couple weeks later, one shipped and they took that out. Then the next week after that, they took the rest of it. That screws everything up in your checking account ‘cause you’re thinking that the whole amount is coming out and then all of a sudden, it’s not on your checking account anymore. When I spoke to customer service about this, they said that’s how they do it. Other than that, the online ordering process was fine.

We received a pre-lit Christmas tree and some of the lights did not work, I reached out to their customer service and heard back immediately. They gave us options on how to proceed and made sure we were satisfied. I was very impressed with this company.

I bought bar stools for my kitchen about a month ago from Hayneedle. It was the only place where I saw something that caught my eye online. Ordering online was very easy. Once my purchase arrived, I called them because I had a couple of pieces that were damaged. I did not like what I heard from them since they said that I had to send the stools back to get them replaced. I actually ended up just keeping them because I didn't wanna go through the hassle having to send something that is already damaged back. Other than that, the quality of the stool is nice and they're holding up well so far. What I saw online is what I got. They look beautiful just the way they were online and the website was very helpful. Everything is good.

I order two end tables. I gave them my credit card number, then I received a e-mail stating that my order was cancelled. So I used other credit card. And I got other e-mail order canceled. I called them and they told me that they canceled my order because they don't deliver to mobile parks or R.V. parks. They should tell us on their website about their delivery to parks. Then why did they accept my credit card twice. Will not shop there again...

A table was delivered to our home with one side of the box NOT sealed, the back had a huge open hole where I could see the actual table, the box had old postage stamps on it, the hardware was not in the box but actually set on top of the box (not attached in any way), and when we pulled the table out of the box there was a large crack in the wood. We cannot reuse the box to return because it was ripped so badly when it was delivered. First time ordering from Hayneedle and not likely to order again. I took pictures of the box as I walked up to my house because it was so shocking how badly the table was packaged.

On November 19, 2018, I purchased a Signature Sleep 12 inch memory foam mattress. The estimated delivery date was 11/29/18. My debit card was charged on 11/28/18. I tracked my package via the FedEx app and the status of the package was pending. I contacted FedEx and was told the product was still with the supplier; although, the supplier created a label. I contacted Hayneedle who said FedEx must have lost or did not scan the package. Hayneedle proceeded to offer a refund because the product was now out of stock. What would have happened if I weren’t tracking my package? I am deleting their application from my phone after my refund is processed. Guess it wasn’t meant to be. They will never get my business again.

My daughter, Emma, ordered two rabbit hutches for her pets from Hayneedle. The construction of the hutches appeared to be pretty good for the price and she liked their design. I typically research a thing before I buy it if it’s a big purchase and I’m not that familiar with it. But I didn’t do that with this purchase because Emma was spearheading the research for her rabbits.
Emma has four rabbits. We have a little farm and we’ve got chickens, goats and horses. Then as my oldest daughter, Sarah, was going back to school, she found some rabbits that the girls said needed to be rescued, so that was how we ended up with rabbits. Emma has a little, fenced-in area in the yard where she lets them run around in twos. We used little brooding boxes for them while they were young, but once they got older they needed more space.
My wife gave Emma her check card number and Emma ordered the products herself. My daughter is a young teenager and she’s more tech-savvy than some adults, so she didn’t have any problem with the online ordering. Then I helped her assemble the hutches when they arrived. They went together without any problem and I felt good about their quality. I just fed the rabbits in them this morning. Emma is happy with the product and I’m happy that she’s happy with it.

I had bought an item on Hayneedle (easy order process) and noticed two days later - before I received the item - that the price had dropped. I'm not sure their official policy, but they were very happy/quick to credit me the difference. I was so impressed because I emailed then called (realized a few minutes after emailing they had a phone number) -- not only did I get a person, who was empowered and easy to understand, right away... But apparently my email had already been attended to (just a few minutes after sending it). The person who helped me over email had made a mistake, but the phone agent caught the error and had it all fixed quickly. Was just very impressed how quick and helpful/friendly they were - all on a Sunday evening during a holiday weekend.

I started researching a lot of trees, and I knew what kind of tree I wanted as it had to be a certain diameter to where I was gonna put it. After looking at all the other trees from all the other websites, Hayneedle's was the best one. We ordered a Christmas tree and a bag for it, but they sent us two of one bag and we didn't pay for that. Then when we tried to correct it, the hole got deeper. When we wrote to them on the internet, we explained the problem and they thanked us for being honest. They were upfront and it was nice.

I bought from Hayneedle once but I haven’t done it for a year and Carlie, my daughter, purchased from them not very long ago. It was her first time and I was the one who pointed out to her the Monarch Specialties three-piece rectangle coffee table. It was a pain to put together. There was literally no direction and they were in many pieces. Still, it was very nice and for the price, it was awesome. Carlie has a twin sister and she’s thinking about getting some for her apartment. We like them and the quality was very good. Ordering them was very nice and the website had good prices and products. Also, everything arrived when it was supposed to. I had a very nice experience with Hayneedle and I would tell anybody to check out their site and find something.

We’ve purchased some products through Hayneedle since I found that things there are light. We've had these products in our home for four years and I really like the quality of the items that we’ve gotten so far. Among these, there’s an industrial-style lamp that I purchased from them three times. I recently purchased two consoles and the online ordering was fairly simple. Our experience with Hayneedle has all been very positive and I would encourage friends to order from there.

This jewelry armoire that I got from Hayneedle has good quality. There were no issues when ordering online and it was delivered. Also, it was easy to put together. I was happy with the piece that I got and I would tell my friends to look Hayneedle up.

Most of my purchases start out by me looking for something in particular. That ends up being Hayneedle. Recently I looked at many different heaters and the style that I wanted, the outdoor propane heater, was with Hayneedle. When I ordered it online, I just plugged in my information, have a credit card and I'm done. The delivery time was great. However, I was a little worried about the package itself because it was beat-up. I took quick pictures of it just to make sure if I opened it up and everything was damaged, I would not think that's Hayneedle's problem, that was gonna be whoever they had delivering it. But the item ended up fine and it was what I expected.

We have been ordering from Hayneedle for a few years now and most recently, we purchased a living room set that includes a couch, loveseat and chair. The online ordering experience was alright and I didn’t have any problems with the website and the functionality of it. The quality of the items are above average and it's reasonably priced.

I moved to the house and the location wasn’t too convenient, but within a few days, I still received my Greenhouse-In-A-Box from Hayneedle and I appreciate it. The model is good and the flowers look cleaner now. I looked at the instruction and installed it. It was complicated the first time but that’s okay. I learned something and it was a good experience.

I ordered an item twice. The first time I wanted to make sure my order went through so I called. Was told they were going to wait a few minutes and call back since I had just placed the order. Never got a callback. Later I came to find out it was canceled and I wasn’t notified. I ordered it again... Again I was not notified it was cancelled a second time. I called and they said my order wasn’t processed. I paid $30 extra for S&H for 2-day shipping and was told I couldn’t get my order in two days. Makes no sense. Never ever ordering anything from here again. The only reason I rated one star was because the option didn’t allow me to leave it blank. ZERO STARS. ZEROOO.

I had the worst experience ever with Hayneedle. My order was supposed to be delivered a week and a half ago as I wanted to have it for Thanksgiving. But half of my order was lost or misplaced and nobody ever called me to tell me that. I asked them about it and they sent out another shipment. The earliest delivery of the order that was placed second was the Monday after Thanksgiving, so I placed the first available delivery for that one. But two hours later, the shipping company called and told me that the misplaced items were found at the dock, so they could deliver on the coming Tuesday, which I was very happy about. I told them that whenever was the first available delivery, l would take it and I would make sure that I would be home.
Then a rep called this morning and asked if I cancelled my order. She said she thought I wanted to have my delivery before Thanksgiving. She also said that they got a call from Hayneedle that I wanted to have the delivery for the following Monday, so they could cancel the one for Tuesday. That pissed me off big time and I was about to call Hayneedle, but I was in the middle of something. Hayneedle knew the urgency why I wanted my order before Thanksgiving. Thank God the shipping company knew a lot about it because they were calling me every day that they couldn't find it yet. So for my experience, my rating for Hayneedle's customer service is 0. Even though they were always very nice and polite, they didn't do what they said they would do. I still have not received what I ordered and I am absolutely unhappy about why they would make decisions on my behalf and tell other people that I said something that I didn't.

I ordered a Mid-Century white lamp similar to a Chinese lantern from Hayneedle. The experience was good. I ordered it online and I got it a couple days later. It didn’t show but I can tell there’s a little dent on the upper part. Nonetheless, the quality is good.

Placed order. Card was charged and an email was sent saying there was a problem with verification of my card. The card was charged twice. The order is still cancelled. I am currently waiting for the two charges to be refunded to my account. Customer service was very unhelpful in the process. Will never order from this company again

I needed end tables. I had gone to several stores, but I couldn't make a decision. I was irritated and tired within a couple of days of looking, so I just decided to go home and look on the internet because it was easier. I don't usually like to order furniture over the internet and my fear is that the item's quality wouldn't be good. I've ordered something online before and that was what happened. But ordering online was the only option I had at the time.
I picked a site that I knew of from before and ordered from Hayneedle. My husband and I have gotten at least three things from them and they have usually done well. Also, of all companies, they're the one that I feel the most comfortable with. So, I ordered two end tables for the living room and the process was easy. The quality of the end tables I got was good and I would tell others that with Hayneedle, they could be assured that the shipment would come to them first rate as Hayneedle would wrap everything well.

My granddaughter needed a kitchen pantry so I got her one and that was the first thing I’ve ever ordered from Hayneedle. I had, in my mind, what I wanted. I checked out Lowes and everybody else. I found Hayneedle. on Facebook where I find everything. I went to Hayneedle's website and it had the size, the color and the price I wanted. Their online ordering process was easy and the quality of the item was fine. It was easy to put together. We put it together in less than an hour and had it over at my granddaughter’s. You can buy anything you wanted at Hayneedle. In fact, my neighbor right down the road has already ordered two things from them.

On 11/8/18 I ordered a Queen tufted headboard. I was told in the order confirmation email the item would arrive by 11/14/18. I was sent a shipping confirmation which contained a FedEx tracking number. That tracking number originally showed a delivery date of 11/16/18. It was 2 days off but no big deal. On 11/16/18 the order never arrived and the tracking number says "delivery date pending".
At this point I reach out to Hayneedle to see what could be done. I was told there's no further information available. I've been charged already and have no idea if or when I'll receive what I've paid for. This is very suspicious so I request to cancel my order. I was told the order cannot be cancelled. I asked that they contact FedEx and return to sender. They agreed but stated they'd only be able to refund me 2-4 business days after the item is returned. The same order that has no delivery date available and is probably lost?!?! So at this point I have no item and no refund. I'm highly disappointed with this first impression and will be filing a BBB complaint. Buyer beware. Order # **.

I would not recommend buying anything from this site. I recently purchased a drawer and sent out damaged item twice. They now refuse to replaced the damaged drawer and are asking me to ship back the entire unit. All I need is a replacement piece. STAY FAR AWAY.

I have Hayneedle products in two homes. Ordering online was pretty easy. I’m pretty much electronically challenged and I could wade through it. I've purchased their sofa table, a couple of bar stools, and throw pillows. I was happy with the items until two pillows that I ordered through Hayneedle arrived in a Walmart box. Also, four other pillows that I ordered are perfect on the front and they look exactly like the pictures, but the back has this unbleached muslin garbage and that’s not good. It’s trashy, so I’m having them re-covered. Other than those, the sofa table and the bar stools that I ordered are wonderful.

Hayneedle was cheaper than other companies and their ordering process was a snap. We just put our information online, and that was it. The first package arrived on time and the second package, which I booked two months ago, arrived last Saturday. It was an Aerobin. And, we're still having a problem putting it together because the directions are in another language and I can’t read them. My husband's an engineer, and he tried to put it together but it just did not do it. The doors didn't stay like they were supposed to. I'm never gonna order from Hayneedle again. Don’t use them.

I’ve been using Hayneedle products for eight years or so. I’ve purchased hammocks, fire pits, mostly outdoor items. I like the outdoor items that they had. In fact, their outdoor rugs are phenomenal. I generally get my items well before expected and they're of excellent quality. I love them all. The online ordering process was super easy. I absolutely love that you get cash back when you purchase from them. I bought a fire pit and I got 20 some dollars to use for my next purchase. There was some kind of club that I joined and I absolutely love that. I went back and bought some rugs and it didn’t cost me very much money.
Hayneedle has everything and they've been top-notch. I also bought some snowflakes for Christmas and one of them came broken because they’re plastic with lights. It was actually FedEx's fault. They set something on top of it and bent them. Hayneedble gave me 50% off, no questions asked. They took care of that within two minutes. It has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Hayneedle. I just told my daughter that she would love their products.

Ordered metal arbor in May 2018 to hold morning glories. Arbor collapsed in October 2018, due to defective metal in the structure's anchors. Hayneedle refuses to refund, citing its 30-day warranty. A metal arbor should last years, not days. DO NOT BUY ARBORS FROM THIS COMPANY.

I couldn’t find what I was looking for so I started looking on the internet. Hayneedle has a great variety of products to choose from and they had what I wanted. I bought two small end tables and a round end table from them. They seemed very well done and they looked very nice. I’d definitely recommend Hayneedle.

We bought a firepit from Hayneedle. It was a bit more affordable than some of the comparable items, and the ordering process was easy, great, and on par with all the other ones. The delivery was scheduled on a Saturday but the unit came on a Friday, which was cool. Hayneedle is definitely worthwhile and trustworthy. I would recommend them.

I made a purchase on Hayneedle not too long ago. It was a twin bed with a bookcase and under storage drawers. It was something my son likes. The ordering experience was good. However, what we ordered came through damaged. I called in and they replaced it, but the replacement was also damaged. So, we just ended up getting a refund and we donated the bed to one of the local community places. Other than that, everything else was good. Hayneedle has quite a bit of products to choose from.

I was looking around for a birthday present and Hayneedle's product was the largest one I found during my short research time. So, I ordered from them and my experience was excellent. I found the one I was looking for and everything was super easy. The quality of the product was as expected, too. It's a fire pit that has propane attached to it and it lights and fires up. It came as it was stated and didn't come broken, so I have no qualms or issues. The cost was also fine. But it doesn't say in the notes that it cannot be used for natural gas. However, when you get the instructions, it tells you that it may not be used on natural gas. So that was the only little quirk on that and it was a huge issue because it was designed for natural gas. Also, all of the fire pits I was looking at at the time could convert over to natural gas. Still, Hayneedle has great shipping prices, fast delivery, and a good selection of products.

Placed my very first of three orders online and received two products that were DAMAGED. FINLEY Home Turner Console Table in OAK finish was DAMAGED and rubbed on the corners in packaging or shipping. DAMAGED Boraam Industries Augusta 29 inch swivel bar stool in CHERRY finish which we purchased two. One was fine and the second one was totally cracked through on Part D, the Apron with swivel plate. Paid with PAYPAL. Was told parts would keep in touch in replacing the DAMAGED Part D-not so. Had to provide all the additional information and was told it would take at least seven (7) days to hear back from the factory and it would take another fourteen (14) days to get the replacement part if it could be replaced-it was up to the factory-not HAYNEEDLE.com who was PAID IN FULL.
No offer ever made to refund for the DAMAGED items received. Had to speak with numerous staff who did nothing to HELP or assist. When we did find a staff person to HELP she made the situation even worse because she refunded money back to PAYPAL and had the gall to want to charge me an additional 10% for inconvenience-who was inconvenienced-not HAYNEEDLE.com-it was me the NEW customer and on top of that she took a replacement order, charged it to my credit card and no more than hanging up the phone.
We received an e-mail notice on BACKORDER status. She CANCELLED the order but not the charge stating it would drop off within three or four days-no concern in tying up my available credit-why did she not process a credit or refund when the order was CANCELLED-too much work and out of her generic box?! My wife also wrote a nice review on this staff person and sent it to her Supervisor because we thought she was doing a better job than anyone else we had contacted to date. But that was a "BIG MISTAKE" because after that she would not even reply to our e-mails or attempt to assist any further in getting a resolve we were happy with.
We had to beg to get a replacement order processed rather than wait another three or more weeks to get a bar stool to match the one we already had and it went into BACK ORDER status and she could not even process that properly. 10% additional inconvenience charge for HAYNEEDLE.com-right?! We just received a replacement part D and hopefully it is in good condition and we can put the second bar stool together now but I am holding my breath until we open the box?! If this works it will certainly be the LAST order we ever place with HAYNEEDLE.com nor would I refer them to anyone we know!!! CARY, NC PURCHASER 11/09/2018 @ 5:02 PM EDT.

I never had a bunny before and I just thought it would be cool for her to jump up and down instead of being in a small cage. It was a great experience ordering the two-story rabbit hutch with a rounded roof from Hayneedle. It looked like it was falling apart after we got it together but my bunny has been fine in it. I’m just worried about the rain when it starts coming because I don’t know how it’s gonna affect her whole house but we're gonna put a tarp over it. I was completely over the top that I paid as much as I did and the product that we've received but it's awesome. We really love it and she does too.

Ordered a firewood rack from Hayneedle. An email was sent by Hayneedle stating the "the item have been canceled because we couldn't authorize your credit card". The item was reordered with correction, and again the same email was received. A call was then made to Hayneedle to find out why the same email response is received and the credit account was charged for the two items after their email said it wasn't authorized!
Upon calling customer service we were informed the order hadn't been canceled, hmm, thought they said in their email it was canceled! What would have happened if we hadn't followed up? Also, when I asked about the credit card charges, the company charges the card, but puts a "Hold" on the funds. Wait a minute! I have a nice email that stated they canceled the order, but we had to call them the to cancel, and the kicker, the credit card is billed and it will be 2-4 Business days before the charge is removed from the card! Hayneedle is getting one star because they answered their phones. This was our first experience with Hayneedle, we won't be ordering from them again.

Your orders get cancelled after being charged, you call customer service only to be told that their system automatically cancels orders and that it will be sent to an actual representative to review, but it will take 3-4 business days to process which is also the time you wait for your bank to release funds back into your account. They did this to two of my orders already and they did nothing for the inconvenience of their piece of ** service and processing of purchases. So ridiculous. They wouldn’t even help with expediting orders after their lame errors. So pissed.

Charged 3 times for 3 canceled orders: My sister first tried placing an order for a sofa set as a housewarming gift to us. Then received an email saying the order has been canceled, she tried again but once again got an email saying the order was canceled due to the card declining because the billing and shipping addresses did not match. So she sent me the money so I could order the set with my card. I ordered the set with my card which has matching billing and shipping addresses and still received an email that my order was canceled. I checked my account and Hayneedle took the money. So I had my sister check her account and they in fact took the money from her account twice! So every order we placed was withdrawn from our accounts but canceled on their end. I have tried reaching out. This company is fraud.

I got a garden bench from Hayneedle and it was a good fit for my patio. I've also had a few things from them for the last year and the quality of the items have been very good. The user-friendliness of the site is perfect and the ordering experience is fine. I also looked at different websites and saw that Hayneedle's price was fair. Their products seemed nice and they're packaged really well. I've never had anything come damaged and I don't have to worry about things coming broken.

I bought a gold New Orleans-style bookcase from Hayneedle at the beginning of October. Ordering was very convenient. I like that they give you what day that it’ll ship to you. Before purchasing, they let you know as well that the product is on hand, and that it is able to be shipped within X amount of business days. The product is top quality and I can use that throughout my life. This is my first apartment on my own, and I could probably potentially put it in my home.

I purchased a $600 + area rug and was credited with 52.06 in reward dollars. I was going to make another purchase today. But much to my surprise, the reward dollars were gone, so I did not proceed with the purchase. I was supposed to be notified before the rewards expired but I am not aware of ever receiving an email to bring this to my attention.

Order placed on 10/13 and was advised it would arrive by 10/19. After trying to determine what the issue was, customer service advised on 10/21 that they would get back with me in 72 hours. I have yet to hear back from Customer Service. Product finally arrived on 10/25. Poor customer service, no communication. NEVER AGAIN!

Last year was the first time I used Hayneedle. I bought a $600.00 fireplace and was given rewards which I did not realize expire. They say they will send out an email when they’re about to expire, but I never received one. Although I was happy with the fireplace (5 stars there) I will not be shopping at Hayneedle anymore unless my rewards were reinstated.

I really love Hayneedle and my experience has been great. I also absolutely love the things I got from them. We ordered two products within the last 10 months and they are of very nice quality. I like that Hayneedle has a point system and that they have a whole grade. I can go cheap or I can go super high-end. I have a large buffet piece with seven people long that I bought for our breakfast room. But when I was searching, there were 900 different ones to go through. I was fine going through with it but the scrolling sometimes was not fast enough and I round up getting backtracked after I went in to look at the details of the piece. If there was a large group to search through, it won’t let me out faster than it was. So, they could work on that.
Moreover, when I set up an appointment to have a date for delivery on their website, the information did not flow to the local person who was picking up at the airport. Then, I got a phone call from the local person asking me when I wanted to have the item dropped off. I told the person that I already set it up and she told me I did not. But we figured it out together and she was super nice. The guy who dropped it off was super nice, too.
I am a head trainer for people who go on the phone for clients so I know all about the importance of client services. Hayneedle’s clients are not going to understand that the problem is with the coordinating and they will blame them. Hayneedle’s local people are getting yelled and blamed at and the clients will drop them if that is happening. Hayneedle has to figure out how to forge that relationship with their local suppliers for doing that last mile of it because their clients won’t deal with them ever again and they will lose them. Hayneedle needs to work it out and coordinate better. They are smart enough and they got a lot of people who can figure how to fix it up. Overall, Hayneedle is trying to be a great company for their customers and I will order from them again because I can work out some details of the logistics of setting up the delivery now that I know it.

I got some lantern candles and some pots for plants from Hayneedle. Doing the purchase online has been smooth. I received emails regarding the shipment quickly and I didn't have to reach out to customer service for anything. They also have good quality products that are priced better than the competitors. I was talking to my mom about what I had ordered and told her that I had ordered from Hayneedle. She said that they love Hayneedle and that they shop on it quite often, so it was reassuring to hear other positive feedback. I would reiterate the same to others.

The TV stand was delayed a little bit but the online ordering experience was cool. Finding what I was looking for was easy. I also had a little trouble with one of the drawers where it was a little longer but it was cool. I'm happy with the quality of the product.

The first product that we bought from Hayneedle was a rocking chair. I also ordered two end tables. I also ordered something else that I had to assemble but I had no problem assembling them as they were well-labeled. They came in good shape and the price was right. I go to HomeGoods, which is a branch of TJ Maxx and Hayneedle's products are much nicer. In addition, the quality is excellent and the cost is just at the right price point that I'll buy it. One time though, I bought one of my end tables and it has a rustic wood kind of surface. But it was too rustic that it showed through the wood surface more than I would have liked. So we called Hayneedle and we got the number of the warehouse where it came from. The actual vendor said the table tops were out of stock, ‘cause we were asking for a smoother one. He said that whenever it came in, he would let us know. But we never heard from him.
What we did was to dress it up and protect the surface. We got a glass cut for it and it actually elevated the look of the table that it seems more expensive. In addition, I was looking all over for a walker and Hayneedle's customer service rep said to me that I should look for a nursery walker if I want a smaller-scale walker, which I wanted. So, she knew her product and knew how to direct me in the right direction. Then, I wanted a cushion for it and she was able to help me get the one I wanted. The cushion that came in was excellent quality. You couldn't have found it any place else at that quality and that price.

I bought a 36-inch Red Ember fire pit from Hayneedle recently. I wanted something that I could sit out there at my brick patio and it was relatively inexpensive. Since I wanted to get a cover for it, I talked to one of their customer service reps on the phone. She gave me model numbers that would fit for my particular fire pit and she helped me out the best she can. What she didn't tell me, though, was that the fire pit comes with a cover. She should've known that. That’s the whole idea of being a customer service rep, you're supposed to know your products. Also, the cover that I got was way too big for the unit and it was $21. I ended up sending it back, but I didn't have to pay to do that. Hayneedle also credited my account, so everything worked out okay.

Hayneedle had what I wanted at a good price. I purchased a Sunbrella market umbrella and the shipping was fairly quick. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and so far, it seems fine. I’m very happy with the Hayneedle products.

I purchased a mirror from Hayneedle that I was very excited about. They said by ground shipping it would get there by Oct 5. It was Oct 12 when I sent an email complaint saying it has been past due when I was supposed to receive my package and based on my order summary, the item had not shipped. I NEVER got a response from them about my issue. I wait a few days and I call. He says I should've gotten a response from the email and he cannot tell me why the object has not shipped and it can take another two days to figure it out.
I spent decent money on this mirror that it looks like I will never receive but will never get a refund because I have no way to 'send it back'. I am extremely dissatisfied of how this order has been handled. I always get Hayneedle's promotional emails, but when something needs helping, they are nowhere to be found. Next time, I will go someplace else.

We were doing a renovation in the house and switching out furniture. We saw the dining table on a few websites and it came down to the one that had the best pricing which was Hayneedle. The ordering experience was extremely simple. I put in my credit card information and I received the table a week later. Everything went smoothly. I spoke with two people, one was very helpful, but turns out he was not telling me the correct information. I then was charged a third time after I had asked if specifically if they would charge me after my 2nd canceled order. Now I'm out 450 bucks for one item I don't even have. I called back after I found out I was charged again and spoke with a woman. She says rude to me when I was trying to explain why I was upset being out so much money. She told me there was nothing she could do and that was that. I don't see myself ordering from here anytime in the future.

I was searching for rain barrels when Hayneedle came up. I bought one from them and the unit I got had a spout that was a little bit off. It was sideways and not clutched on to the product itself. Then, the netting over the hole won’t let a lot a water in it at one time but we had another screen that did so as not to allow mosquitoes. Still, the rain barrel is attractive as far as they go.

I ordered an Ashley dining table then arrived with one corner having been banged either in packing or during shipment/delivery. I took photos and contacted Hayneedle. They responded very quickly and didn't even ask to see my photos, taking my word for it. They gave me a refund right away, offering me to order a new one and didn't even demand I send the table back. I was very happy with how prompt they dealt with my case, and their overall customer service. I will most certainly buy from them again (hopefully with nothing getting damaged, but I have faith they will solve all issues).

A coffee table was purchased for me that appeared lovely online but not in person. I was told to send it back via FedEx. I never received an email letting me know the return was received. I was told from 2 different customer service people that I could be issued a mail check. They informed me that a mail check would take 30-45 days. Today I received an email saying, "Sorry we are issuing a credit to the original method of payment!" I know I made myself clear this was a gift and I did not want it returned to the original method of payment. The only other option I was told I could have was a store credit. I feel if someone puts something in writing and advises you that yes, a mail check will be issued then that’s what should happen! Needless to say I am beyond disappointed!

I had Googled for a bed frame for my son and the price of the one I saw at Hayneedle was good. It looked nice online so I ordered it right through my phone. The delivery was supposed to arrive on a Monday and then we didn’t get anything. I looked in and the shipping had been updated to Tuesday. It was a day behind than what it initially said, but it wasn’t a big deal to us. It has a good price for the quality. The product was at the cheaper end of some of the ones we were looking at, but it’s pretty solid. It seems to be well made, so we’re happy with it.

I looked online at quite a few sites, and Hayneedle had the product that looked the best to me for my needs. Ordering online didn't take very long and the process was very easy to understand. I got an email the next day saying the product wasn't in stock, and they would send it as soon as they have it. I got the product in about 2 weeks and I'm pleased with what I got. It seems sturdy, and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. The cost was also a little bit lower than other sites for a bigger storage center and the quality. Overall, my experience went very smoothly and I'd order from them again if I see something else I needed or wanted.

I was looking for a particular product for my dog and Hayneedle had the one that seemed to be the best. They also had more of what I wanted. There were other companies that had other things but I liked the product that Hayneedle had, so I ordered from them. It was very easy and the product that I received was excellent. But I got rid of the dog and I didn't get to put the product together. I had to send it back and the process of doing that was very simple. I got reimbursed right away, too. It was a great service and I'd use Hayneedle again in the future because I have other animals.

I placed an order for 8 chairs with Hayneedle. I then received an email that the chairs were on backorder. They charged my card on a backorder. I called the next day and spoke with Terry to cancel the order. Terry cancelled the order and told me the funds would be returned in 2-4 days. Next day I get an email that the order I cancelled has shipped. Well I bought the same chairs somewhere else so I called and spoke with Ruth who said her Lead Cheryl would have the order turned around and I would have to wait until they are headed back to Hayneedle to get my money back.
Two days later I see that the chairs are still in transit to me. I went on chat and was told that it takes time to get the order turned around. Nothing is happening as Hayneedle said it would so I asked for my money back since none of this way my doing. Received no help from the person so I asked to get a Manager for help. I was told a managers don't chat and to call Customer Service. I asked to chat with a manager again and the chat was disconnected. I feel helpless and I want my money back.

I like the flower pots that I bought from Hayneedle. However, we’re having problems with the chest that I got from them. Looking at it, the left hinge where you screw the screw into it is not holding it. There’s a little groove there and a bracket should be there. You need to screw the screw down and up underneath it, should be a washer to help me out to secure it and we don’t have that. I like this item. It’s very nice. The other hinge works, but the whole left side doesn’t seem to work right. We’re trying to figure out what to do with that but I’m not gonna send it back because it’s too much of a hassle. I've been ordering from Hayneedle for the last three years. The quality of the products that I got from them were all good until I got to this one. Other than that, everything else has been great.

I bought a table and outdoor table and chairs from Hayneedle beginning of the year. They were really terrific. So, a month ago, I ordered eight covers for the chairs outside for the winter. But instead, I got eight umbrella covers. I talked to a gentleman from Hayneedle and he told me that he was still learning things. I was in a hurry, but it took me a day and a half to get this order in with him. I had a $49 credit but he told me that he didn't know what to do with it.
I finally got the eight chair covers and returned the umbrella covers. Somebody from Hayneedle called me up saying that they have to cancel the first order that they put on my bill, which was for the umbrellas. We straightened it out, but my experience was nothing but aggravation. But I would order from Hayneedle again. Their costs are wonderful and I love every item that I got. The products are well worth it for the price. I would recommend Hayneedle, but beware whoever you're ordering with. If they don't sound like they're sharp and know what they're doing, do hang up and start again.

I ordered a mantel clock from Hayneedle as a gift and the ordering process went great. At one point I called in because I didn't receive an email from them and when I talked to the representative, I realized that I had mistyped my email address -- that was why I didn't receive my confirmation. They figured that out for me very quickly and it was very nice. I was also concerned about shipping but the product was packaged very nicely so I didn't have to worry about that. The people I gifted the mantel clock to liked how it looked and were pleased with it.

I was looking for the type of shades I wanted and Hayneedle happened to have it. But, there was a mistake on the measurements of the shade that was on the website. It was described as being over 20 feet long, so I called customer service and got a girl named April. She laughed and said that was obviously not the right dimensions, but she couldn’t find them when I was on the phone so she said she’d call me back. It took a while to reach each other back, though. We had a real phone tag going where she just kept calling back and I kept calling her until we finally connected. She found out what the dimensions were and it was all done very well. I asked her a couple of other questions too. April had a terrific follow through and gave me all the information I asked. It was an excellent experience and I was very impressed.

I ordered a $3,000 couch that turned out great! Until I washed the cushions and they completely fell apart! The tag clearly says “Wash before iron” but when I called customer service... they said there was nothing they could do. NOTHING, but help me SHOP FOR NEW ONES! I ordered the Sauder Palladia Armoire from Hayneedle on August 27th and I didn't get it until September, the week of the 20th. FedEx lost it, so I called back and Hayneedle didn't have it in stock, so it was a month later before I got the armoire. And I had to change the shipping address because I didn't trust FedEx to deliver it to the lady that I bought it for. But it was not Hayneedle's fault and the representatives I talked to about the shipping fiasco were good. They did great and gave me a 10% off on it.
But when my order came, it was still the wrong color. I ordered a light chestnut color and when it came, it was dark mahogany. Initially, I didn't see it. I just got it in my car and took it to the house of the person I bought it for. She is an elderly lady who is a caregiver for my mom who doesn't have a credit card. I bought it for her and she paid me. She also said that when she opened the box, the screws weren't in it. It had some screws, but it was missing some, so she had to go to Lowe's and buy new screws. But it all worked out and I'd still order from Hayneedle again.

I'm an interior designer, and I bought lamps from Hayneedle for our clients. I put in a description of something I was looking for, and Hayneedle popped up, and it was in the right price range for my client. The online ordering was easy and good. However, one of the three lamps that I ordered was broken. The boxing on the product wasn't very good. I've got to call their customer service and see if they can replace one of them. But I would order again from Hayneedle.

I bought this loveseat from Hayneedle and received it in two boxes. Once I opened the boxes I realized that they had sent out two left sides of the couch and that I wasn't going to be able to put it together. I called Hayneedle and was told they would reach out to the vendor. At this point it's been over 2 weeks and every time I ask for an update I'm just told that the vendor is working on it with no kind of timeline o when this is going to be resolved. Just ridiculous customer service and they just keep pulling me along to who knows when. I am supposed to wait another 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years?? Really not a great experience at all.

The privacy screen from Hayneedle matches my existing furniture. I put it on my patio for some privacy from my neighbor. It was really easy to order from Hayneedle, but something happened with the manufacturer when I ordered a second one. I never received it, but they credited me my money. Overall, Hayneedle is a good company.

As you read this review, please keep in mind that I am a real person who's dealt with a sub-zero company and I AM NOT USING HYPERBOLE. My first experience should have told me not to do business with this company ever again... but shame on me. I did. And I am once again sorry that I did. Back in August 2018, I ordered an ARMOIRE from Hayneedle in the color BERCH. When the shipment arrived it came in TWO large separated cardboard packages. BUT... and here's the "but"... one was marked "BERCH" and the other was marked "DISTRESSED GREY." WOW... talk about ineptitude. How can someone make such an obvious error? I had already opened the package that was BERCH which was very very large. When I saw the other package marked "DISTRESSED GREY", I knew I was doomed.
I called HAYNEEDLE and was told that FedEx would pick up both packages but I had to repack the one I had opened. I canceled my order and was astonished that Hayneedle didn't mess up my refund. NOW... here is the 2nd nightmare with Hayneedle. On Sept 19, 2018 I place an order for a 4 drawer dresser. I received emails confirmation and was told the item would be delivered on September 20... THE NEXT DAY?? I called Hayneedle to ask about this. No one was able to clarify this for me. So I let it and on Sept 24, I checked the FedEx website to track the shipment and it said "A SHIPPING LABEL HAS BEEN CREATED AND WE WILL UPDATE THE SHIPMENT WHEN WE RECEIVE IT FOR SHIPMENT." LOL... This was 3 days "AFTER" I placed the order.
I called HAYNEEDLE and was told by a service rep that the item was being sent from the supplier which was in the same area (Brooklyn, NY) where I lived and therefore they (the supplier) wouldn't be able to ship it within a certain time frame. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? She told me that she would call me back the next business day and let me know its status... but she never did. So I again called HAYNEEDLE and was NOW told that the item was on backorder with the supplier and it wouldn't be shipped out until "OCTOBER 24." Lord have mercy. I would have never known this unless I had called HAYNEEDLE. I think you get the picture. What a joke this company turned out to be. I just hope that as you read this... You did so before you placed an order with Hayneedle and not before. Good luck if you place an order with Hayneedle. I will pray for you. I would give this company a "Minus" star if they allowed me.

I've been ordering from Hayneedle for a couple of years now. They had the best selection of the painting that I was looking for outdoor works. Usually, if I can’t find something and want more variety, they tend to have it and they usually ship within the week. My online ordering experience with them has been excellent and their website has been easy to navigate. The quality of the products that I got from them are good. I’ve done rugs and most of the things I get from them are pre-fab which they don’t put together. So, if I have to put something together, I go somewhere.

I love the color of the backless bar stool that I purchased from Hayneedle. It has a grayish undertone to it. I have a lot of that gray undertone and it'll go with my club chairs in the backyard. Stay far away from this company! I have now tried to place an order with them THREE times. On each occasion, they charged my credit card and then one day later sent me an email saying that my order had been canceled because of some nonsense about how it was for my safety because "they could not verify my billing/shipping address". I then had to wait up to 7 days for the money they had charged to be returned to my card!
After this first time that this occurred, I called my bank and confirmed with them that the shipping/billing addresses I was entering matched their records and that the transaction was going through fine on their end. I assumed there must just be some random thing happening with that card and tried to replace the order with a different card. The same issue happened--and again my bank had no idea why! I called customer service, and they explained to me that they have some computer system that automatically verifies billing/shipping addresses and that they would send the order to accounting to be reviewed by an actual human. The representative assured me that I would NOT be charged a third time for the order by sending it to accounting.
Of course, the next day my card WAS charged again, followed by yet another "your order has been canceled" email. Customer service was wildly unhelpful, refusing to take accountability for their error in charging my card for a third time expressly against my wishes. They simply said "The money will be returned to your card in about 4 business days". LOL ok, but that doesn't really help me because now I am out $1500 for the next week with nothing to show for it! Customer service also refused to provide a reason for why the orders were failing, giving fishy and illogical anecdotes and saying it was "for my own privacy" that they could not give any information out about why an order was cancelled ever. When I asked to speak to someone from the accounting department, they refused saying "the accounting department does not accept phone calls."
This company is quite obviously a scam. They are taking customers' credit card info, checking to make sure that info is accurate by charging an order to the card, and then immediately canceling the order and refusing to provide information why. Who knows what they will do with my credit card information now? I suspect sell it. I now get to replace both credit cards that I used with this company. STAY AWAY!

I purchased a rocker glider for my mother from Hayneedle and the picture shows a matching Ottoman. My mistake for not realizing it was not included, which caused great disappointment, however trying to order the matching ottoman was not possible because Hayneedle does not carry it. Why are you showing it in the picture if you don’t carry it? We really wanted an ottoman with the chair as my mom has bad feet. We love the rocker glider chair and are satisfied with the quality but we are very disappointed with not having the matching ottoman and not getting any help on how to obtain one when I called. The lead time to receive the chair was quite long as well (ordered 9/4/18, received 9/22/18). The only thing that would make this right is someone contact me on how to get matching ottoman.

Sometimes dealing with people can be difficult, especially when you can't see them. they cease being 'people' and become more the faceless interminable bureaucracy that is designed to keep up from getting solutions; keeping us from being happy. I must say that hayneedles customer service at first appeared in this category. I now know that the first person I was dealing with a)does really exist, b) was attempting to do a job that depended on OTHER people (nameless and faceless to him also), and that c)given enough time it may have ended the same way that this detour through consumer affairs provided. As with any dealings with customers/customer service communication and information in a timely manner is probably the best way to proceed. I think that is what Hayneedle strives for in a perfect world. I thank them for there timely response and resolution, and as following any happy/satisfactory experience will hope to see something I like in their offering again. Thank you.

I paid $350 for a Dale Tiffany lamp. When it arrived, the shade was as pictured by the base/stand was significantly different (the shade is much too small for the base). I contacted customer service, they asked me to send a picture. I did, and was told 'that I was probably sent the updated lamp'. The customer service person then said 'they would get in touch with Tiffany and see what they said'. Hayneedle customer service appears to stop after they cash your check. I don't want to hear what Dale Tiffany thinks, I would like the product I was shown and ordered. It's been a week now, and so far NO response to further emails. The products appear nice, but I think customer service is really quite poor.

I'm very happy with the Adirondack chairs we got from Hayneedle. We wanted to have something comfortable to use outside that would last for a while. The assembly was a little bit tricky, but the product itself is good. At first, ordering from Hayneedle was a little bit tricky because I was trying to use a coupon, and I couldn't use it online. I had to call and then I ended up ordering online. The rep I spoke with was great because she gave me a suggestion of a product that was comparable to what I was looking at, but I could use the coupon on.

I bought a tv stand from them. The box didn't contain the hardware. I called. They offered to issue me a partial refund to find it myself, like my time couldn't be less important (they obviously think less of their customers). Taking the box apart and searching for the nonexistent pieces took 25 minutes, and the call to customer service took another 20 minutes. They said they could provide me another box, where I could fish through to find the hardware then FedEx the rest back (because they're too busy to find the hardware themselves), or I could place all the pieces neatly back in the box and they could schedule a pickup, and give me the money back upon receipt. What did they offer for all my effort, nothing. If I could give them a negative rating I would.

I wanted a smaller recliner. I bought one from Hayneedle for 180. It was originally 400+ and I thought it was probably decent. I figured there was a clearance thing, but the recliner was probably worth about $60. The packaging took me almost an hour to open. I couldn’t just slice and open it, between the tape on it. Once I had it opened, I would have put it back in the box if I could and send it back. However, the box was totally destroyed. Also, I ran the vacuum on the recliner and it just kept me up. I didn’t realize it was from China. I would have never bought it. I was just so disappointed in the quality of that chair. It was junk and I can’t even give it away. Hayneedle's website was fine, but I’ll never buy anything online again. You get what you pay for.

I'll start off with the packing and quality of their items. I received a dining table with the box dented, and unsurprising damage to the table itself. It wasn't just a chip off the paint, it was a chops off the wood! I contact customer service regarding the damage. I was reassured I would receive a FULL refund, since the fault was on Hayneedle's end. Moreover, the chairs I had ordered to accompany the damaged table would no longer be needed, so the representative reassured me the chairs would be canceled and my card would not be charged. Disappointingly, my card was indeed charged for the chairs and it was shipped after all. It gets WORSE.
They receive my return of the table, however, did not issue a FULL refund as promised. They claim to have withheld my reward points accumulated. But I also returned the chairs which I used the reward points on, hence forfeiting my reward points. Yet a full refund remains to be unissued. Moreover, the representatives who reassured me of a "Full Refund" failed to disclose any information that any amount would be deducted from my "full refund." I'm not going to hold my breath for a full refund on the chairs which they also reassured a full refund for, but you bet I will be taking these matters to my credit card company.
Not only does Hayneedle fall short on delivering quality in products, but they also lack customer service. Surely in the mishap of "miscommunication" they could offer a remedy, but failed to even make the effort. As a long time customer, I will no longer be purchasing anything else from them in the future. Perhaps my absence will not impact their profit logistics, but I hope that my review will make a difference to those who are considering on doing business with them. Heed my warning and save yourself the frustration, stress, and utter disappointment in this deceptive company.

I was looking for gray upholstered dining chairs and Hayneedle came up. The price was shocking. I took a screenshot of it and then, the next day, I got a 10% off coupon in the mail. I called customer service because I was worried about their return policy if I didn't like the item and the reps were very helpful. I used the coupon and ordering was very easy. I ordered a set of dining room chairs and once I knew how it looked, I ordered more stuff to finish. With the price, I knew the chairs weren't going to be amazing quality but they seemed like very nice chairs. They seem a little stiff but that happens. They will wear in the more you use them. I'm happy with the quality for what I paid and I would definitely recommend Hayneedle. I had a very smooth and easy transaction.

Hayneedle had the china cabinet that I wanted and the price was right. Ordering online was easy but I initially found the item on another website. When I first searched with the terms for what I was looking for, it didn’t come up. But after finding it somewhere else, I went back to Hayneedle then searched for the exact product name and I found it. The cabinet was described as solid wood but it’s just particle board. Still, it has good quality. It wasn’t a major expense and I got what I paid for. Overall, I had a good experience with Hayneedle and everything went smooth.

I found a patio umbrella on Hayneedle today that I liked and the price was right. On the page where I went to order, it stated if I paid another $2.60, I would get free shipping. However, when I tried to place the order, I had a problem in that when I hit “next” it just threw me back to the page I had completed with any info. It did this two times, so I called. And, I never saw the $2.60 free shipping again. I talked to one lady who said that was not available, and when I asked why and that it was false advertising, she hung up. So I called back, and got another lady, who said the same thing. I decided I did not want to order from Hayneedle with all the problems, thanked her and hung up. I will not be back to this site. Something is fishy. If they will not honor what is on the page, why don’t they remove it quickly? Too many umbrellas for sale out there to deal with this issue.

Ordering from Hayneedle went well. I went to the homepage and it has some cute stuff of people. I know Pottery Barn does this too where they show people who have integrated some of the stuff from Hayneedle into their house and they show how they use it. It's always nice if you see something that you like and then you can automatically click on that picture. And then, it says, "Shop this look." The ordering process is easy.
We got the Belham outdoor furniture and we've liked the quality of that. We just had to order some covers for it. The stick light chandelier, I ordered two of those from them. I first bought them in Bed Bath and Beyond’s catalog. But I looked them up online and Hayneedle had it cheaper and it was 10% off. They looked beautiful. I've also gotten a little decorative item and that's been good. Hayneedle is the same way as Birch Lane and they make returns really easy. I've had to return a lot of stuff to Birch Lane because it was damaged in some way. And they've always been awesome about it.

I got a coffee table, a nightstand and a TV stand from Hayneedle. I admire and trust them. I also like their price because it is cheap. Ordering from them went well. I also like the fact that I had a coupon for the items. Also, the quality of the items is good. However, the coffee table I have seem to be a little bit smaller than what I expected. I had to send the wrong package back but I don’t even know what the return process is like. But overall the coffee table is good. I also have recommended Hayneedle to a couple of people.

I recently bought an offset umbrella from Hayneedle which looked like what I wanted. The price was right and it was the size that I needed. Their ordering process online went very well but when the products got here and I put it up, it didn’t withstand three days of use. One of the braces bent and the hole that held the brace and the pin in there was not properly set. It was not what I wanted at all so I contacted the customer service and their response was good. They sent me the shipping label, I sent it back and everything was fine. I’m waiting for the check now. Hayneedle needs to have a better product.

I decided that I want go get a new bed frame so I started looking online. I came across the bed I wanted and it brought me to Hayneedle website. I placed an order for a queen size canopy bed and a full length mirror. With the 10% coupon it gave me for signing up for the rewards program, my total came out to 600.31. My debit card was charged and I got a confirmation email for my order. Hours later I get another email saying my order was canceled due to not being able to authorize my card.
Confused, I checked my account and there it was the transaction from Hayneedle for 600.31. So I called the customer service and all they could say was there computer generated system decides which transactions they pick to cancel. He stated he would send in a request to release something and see what was wrong. Highly dissatisfied, because if you canceled my order for whatever reason, return my money! Release whatever hold immediately. Why should I have to wait to get MY money back, but they had no problem canceling my order. This was definitely the first and last time I order from this website. I will stick to what I know.

I’ve ordered from them a number of times and have just been appalled by what I’ve received. I had later say the same thing for, no joke, 25% of the cost that they would be charging when I visit Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. It absolutely blows my mind how expensive they are for what little quality you receive. I purchased a $1,250 couch last year, and stupidly, I didn’t shop around. I later learned after purchasing it, that I spent over $450 more for that couch than I should have. There were about eight other stores that have had the same couch for between 750 and $800! I was so mad at myself! But still, think a company would jack up the prices that much is just repulsive.
Then, a few months ago I placed an order but as soon as I hit “place order”, I realized that I forgot to use my measly little reward dollars they give. They’re pretty much a joke. Still though, I wanted to use them. I’m used to Amazon where you definitely have full control of your order for an hour after your order is placed it, meaning you’re still able to go into it and edit or cancel it if you would like to. Even after that first hour, you can still request changes and as long as the product has shipped, they nearly always grant you your request. It can all be done online and very effortlessly.
Well NOT WITH HAYNEEDLE! There’s no such way to edit or cancel your order AT ALL. You’re stuck and they even tell you that you can’t email your request to edit or cancel. You have to call and go through such an ordeal it’s ridiculous. I am definitely through with Hayneedle. The prices alone are plain insulting. I hope anyone reading this is smarter than I was, and shops around, even just on the Google shopping tab, because you’re ALWAYS, always going to pay, at the very LEAST, 50% more for your low quality item that coming from China or India. Disgusting.

I was on Craigslist and a sectional set was for sale, and I decided I was gonna get something new as opposed to something old. I looked up the model number and Hayneedle showed up, and I quickly found the set that matched the one that I saw. Overstock had it too, but they didn’t have a lot. The set I got is high quality and I really like it. It looks simple but great. It has wide aluminum feet with gray cushions. It also has a square glass coffee table and foot rugs, which I turned into actual seating. It's very flexible and you can really set it up the way you want to. However, I don't like the cushion because you have to take them in before it rains. I also thought the set was a little expensive and could have been down by another 200. Still, I like that you get points that turn into real dollars which I’ve applied towards some seat cushions. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend Hayneedle, especially if you’re buying high-end items.

We've purchased several pieces of furniture from Hayneedle. The most recent of which was a set of stools. I bought it because of the price and because its size is right for where I needed it to go. Once we ordered a bookcase and its top laminated part has a little crack but it wasn't something I would return the unit for. I've read reviews and I've realized that some people haven't been as lucky as we have been. We've been very pleased across the board with Hayneedle's products and delivery, including the estimated time of delivery. I would recommend them to anyone.

You go and find what you want, and then you pay for it and it goes through the normal process. They tell you when it's gonna be delivered and what to expect. Back in 04/18 we order a console computer desk for our business. We just got around to putting the desk together and sadly once we stood it up we had to catch it from falling over. The items is very weak. Even though we tried to keep it from falling over it still came apart. I understand that this item can't be return. We are deeply troubled by this product and the loss of all this money for something that our company really needed. Product is terrible, had to call Sauder and order missing part and that took a full week. If nothing else we want to help others not to waste their monies. We purchased an outdoor sectional from Hayneedle. Its quality is really good and we like it a lot. It was also reasonably priced. Ordering it online was really easy and the site was self-explanatory to us. The only thing was, when we ordered, we got an email saying that we could schedule the delivery within 48 hours after the purchase gets through. The way the shipping works is they deliver it to the area, and then you schedule when it would be delivered to the house. We weren’t able to do that until a week later. That was confusing, but other than that, everything was good. Hayneedle is a good company. They have good products and you should definitely look into ordering them.

Bought a desk from Hayneedle. After it arrived, I spent nearly an hour putting it together. Last step said to attach knobs and drawer pulls. When I started doing that, I realized one of the drawers was severely broken. The front of the drawer had broken off of the rest of the drawer so it was no longer attached, leaving 8 exposed nails behind. The drawer face was severely broken, breaking into 3 pieces. It was beyond repair. The drawer also would not open more than 3 inches because one of the drawer slides was installed backwards! Not only was the drawer unusable, but the entire drawer face is now missing. The desk has an entire drawer missing with exposed nails left behind. What am I supposed to do with it?
They have since stopped making the desk (probably because it was a piece of junk) and so they couldn’t replace the part and only offered me a partial refund, claiming that a full refund is only if I return it. That’s a problem because it won’t fit into my car or anybody else’s car. I’d have to rent a truck to drive it to a post office! Why in the hell would they want this crap back anyway? So they offered me a 35% refund... But that does nothing to the fact that they sold me a broken piece of furniture that I can’t have in my house because it is visibly broken and missing pieces!
Two friends who had been wanting to try Hayneedle saw the hunk of junk they sent me and both vowed never to buy from them. I am so upset! I have no clue what to do about this! A family friend who does carpentry came by to look at the drawer and said that it is not repairable because of the way the desk is built. Unbelievable. Thank you, Hayneedle. I’m so happy I spent $250 on something that I now need to arrange for somebody to come pick up and recycle for me. I’m glad you refunded me $85 so I can pay somebody to take this “desk” off of my hands. Have fun with the other $150+ you stole from me in exchange for a headache and a lot of stress added to my life. $150 later and I STILL need a desk!

I ordered a desk from Hayneedle for my daughter. Ordering online through their website was convenient, fast and easy. The desk seems to be a good product and it serves its purpose. It was very reasonably priced, looked nice -- it doesn't look cheap and had good reviews. Any time that I'm looking at purchasing something, I'm gonna read other people’s reviews and see what they thought about it. There were some negative reviews about the desk being cheaply made but for the price it was good value. It will definitely last until my daughter outgrows it and needs a bigger desk.

We needed something that was nice, squishy and foamy and it just happened that the Hayneedle floatees were a perfect match and were reasonably priced. Their site was good too and easy to negotiate around. I got the rectangular foam pool floatees. I cut them up and used them as head protection on my assembly line. The craft table from Hayneedle had so much storage but still looked very clean. I liked its design and functionality, and the price was also a good value. My boyfriend was helping me put it together and there was another packet of pieces that we didn't know was there. When I called, they immediately put in an order for another package of all the parts. However, my boyfriend found the parts immediately after I called. So, I called back and the lady said she would leave it open and then we could just call back when we are done which I did after we got the unit put together. Everything was great and they were wonderful about it. They were very patient and helpful. Aside from the exceptional customer service, I’m very happy with the cost in relation to its quality.

I ordered 2 pieces of furniture from Hayneedle. Both pieces of furniture showed up with chips to the wood and damage on several pieces of the furniture, in fact one piece was completely broken and I had to glue it back together before assembling. I would strongly recommend you order from somewhere different. The furniture is actually nice if it showed up undamaged. The instructions weren't very clear either but manageable.

I ordered Décor Therapy round side table with 1-door and drawer from Hayneedle. It looked nice and when we got it, we felt that it was a great find. And so far, it’s been really good. It served the function that we needed, which was a side table that would be useful to my wife when she's nursing our infant son. It has a drawer as well as a cabinet that allows us to store things in. It also fits really well in the space that we have between the sofa and the reclining chair. It was a good deal.

Ordered the Tuscan Butcher Block Kitchen Island by Jeffrey Alexander-Antique White. Took over a month - item sent to Texas and I live in NJ - took hours of hold time and calls to figure out where the piece was. No one could give delivery date. Piece advertised as "wood" is covered with junky plastic laminate that arrived chipped. Took hours online and phone calls to shipper to schedule delivery, just to have them come on wrong day. Total costs $2600 for piece I am not happy with. Appeared to arrive with no shelves. More hours of hold time and phone calls to find out shelves were attached to bottom of piece that weigh like 300 pounds and now has to be tipped to remove shelves.

I purchased an outdoor couch set and was very excited to get it. I scheduled an appointment time with their delivery company for today between 1-5 and took off from work. They tried to deliver it a week early when I was not available so I called to make sure the date I picked for delivery was still on there and up to date. They said yes and confirmed. Well today I was supposed to get it, no delivery, I called the company and it's lost!! It will take 24 hours to see if they can find it, I asked when they received that information and was told before noon, why did they not call me so I did not have to take off from work and waste my time and money! So now I'm still waiting for something I paid for!! I will not be using Hayneedle in the future if this is how the delivery goes.

I bought a multicolor bamboo outdoor blind through Walmart in winter of 2017. It was stored in the original packaging in my home until summer 2018. Put it up and was immediately upset that it was nearly transparent. Paid $50+ for this thing. Put it up anyway. Two weeks later it was completely mildewed and nasty. It's way too late to return and I wouldn't touch it anyway. It's in the trash. Two whole weeks and destroyed. I'm writing this so no one will make the same mistake I did. This thing is a waste of money, period. DO NOT BUY. Thanks Hayneedle for providing SUCH an accurate description. You have lost my business forever. I have heard stories about this company and store. I have an old-round-wooden-oak dining table that I got from my mom but I moved into a smaller space and the chairs that I had originally used with it were too big for my space. So, I looked for something that would go with that old-fashioned-look and be smaller and comfortable. I did some shopping around and Hayneedle's price was comparable and the ordering experience was fine. The chairs came very well packed which was a good thing but the directions that came were marginal. Also, the tools that I was supposed to put those chairs together with were a joke. The screwdriver was three inches long and there was no way I could put those chairs together with the tool provided. The instructions were not good and one of the chairs was not drilled correctly. I had a friend come over with a drill and we made it work because I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to re-trim it. Overall though, I really liked the chairs.

We were looking for chairs and saw the BarcaLounger on Hayneedle. We like its price, its quality and the reviews. The ordering process was simple and everything went through smoothly. On the other hand, the biggest concern was if I can’t sit on the chair, then I don’t know how comfortable they are, but all the reviews about it were very good, and that helped a lot and made me a little more comfortable.
When it came to the delivery, there was not a lot of support for tracking the stuff when it got to FedEx. It also disappeared for a while and there was not enough information on schedule as to when it was gonna arrive because we have a second house that they were going to. So, we were worried that they’re gonna get dropped off and we weren’t gonna be around for them. The delivery schedule wasn't precise and they said it was gonna be delivered in up to 15 days . Then we got an email that said it’s gonna be delivered on the next Tuesday, which was only three days away, but it didn’t get delivered. It got delivered a week from then, so the delivery schedule was a little confusing.
Other than the concern with delivery, we've had the chair for about a week now and its overall quality is very good. There were no defects other than a couple of small scratches on the wooden feet. There was one recliner that closes a little bit harder than the other ones, but it’s not very noticeable. All in all, we've had a pretty good experience with Hayneedle.

The rug appears to be a good deal. However Hayneedle has offered perhaps the worst customer service we've ever experienced in purchasing online home goods, and my fiancee and I do most of our home goods shopping online, so we've had some bad experiences. For our new apartment we ordered "Botticino Indoor Rug - Sage" from Hayneedle almost a month ago, and it was supposed to be delivered within 5 days. Little did we know it would be a month later, credit card charged, but zero indication that we'd ever receive the actual goods.
Maybe the worst part is that we have stayed home from work 5 days now between the two of us to receive the rug, but we have not yet received anything despite promises of delivery. Moreover, we have been told for 8 days of calls that we will be called back within 24 hours. No call. So we call back, again, and again, and again...
When we call customer service, there is absolutely no accountability, and they have laughed at us multiple times as they read the "ridiculous number of notes" on our now lost order. I do not expect every company to offer a magical experience, but at this point they could at least give us a refund and free us from the endless cycle of calls and missing work all for a discount rug. Never again, Hayneedle. Never again.

Hayneedle had sent me two large and heavy parcels for a wardrobe. But one box had a portion of the item in it in one color and the other box was another portion of the same item but of a completely different color. After contacting Hayneedle and speaking to Rosemarie, I was given a prompt refund and she arranged to have FedEx pick up the incorrect item at their own expense. I'm just sorry that someone at their distribution center made the mistake in the first place but when all was said and done matters were handled very expediently. Thank you Rosemarie.

I had ordered the Smart Home Eltra K Series 2 Drawer Closet Cabinet Wardrobe in the BEECH color. Today, August 15, 2018, I received two boxes supposedly containing this product. VERY MUCH to my surprise upon opening the bigger of the two boxes it was very obvious to me that they sent me the wrong color called "Distressed Gray." But that is only part of it. When I looked at the 2nd box, it was the "correct" color of BEECH. How a mistake like this could have been made is beyond me since the color of the enclosed product is clearly printed in BIG BOLD letters on the outside of each box.
I was told my credit card would be reimbursed for the total price (including tax) and will be WITHIN 3 business days. In addition, I was told to re-order the same product again after I receive my money back and they will send me TWO (2) return labels to send back both boxes. They also said they would arrange for FedEx to pick up both boxes. Should I not get my refund in a very timely fashion, I will contact the state attorney generals of both New York and Nebraska which I understand is where their corporate offices are located. They have no idea of how passionate of I of someone taking my hard earned money and not giving me what I purchased. IF YOU'RE A EXECUTIVE OF HAYNEEDLE, THIS IS NOT A IDLE PROMISE, BUT A FACT.

I bought a two-drawer nightstand and a king-sized bed from Hayneedle. They had the best price and I had friends that recommended them. Once I received the headboard and one of the nightstands, I really liked the quality of it so I ordered the second nightstand. Finding products on the website was very simple and ordering was very easy. I was given plenty of options to choose from but I was already zeroed in on a particular thing because that was what I was looking for. Everything went smoothly and things arrived in a timely manner. There were glass tops on the nightstands and they were well-secured. I was impressed with the way it was packed. I’ve had the furniture for about a month now and I find its quality to be wonderful and its cost to be appropriate.

I have had Hayneedle products in our home for almost 10 years. I found the products through Google searches and through the Google search, I got to Hayneedle. The online ordering experience with Hayneedle was very positive and easy. I got a picnic table with two benches and a children's craft table with chairs from them. The quality of the products is excellent and the options that were offered were more than I actually needed, and it was great.

Keter Eden 70-Gallon Storage Bench - I am writing this review to inform potential buyers to beware of this product. Just received it and got it put together. Felt like I should have duct taped it all over because it is so flimsy. If you think you can lock this, yes, it is equipped with a place for a padlock, forget it. You can remove the lid with little to no effort. If I were Hayneedle, I would pull this product out of my inventory immediately. The gall to charge $103 for this piece of garbage. Looks nice but am afraid to sit on it. I have requested a return from Hayneedle but haven't heard back yet. This is not a review of Hayneedle. The product was shipped in a fair amount of time. Let the BUYER beware.

Ordered an Aeon Clemen dining room table that never shipped. Two weeks later, I contacted Hayneedle customer service to find out where the item was and when I could get it. Was told they generated an incorrect tracking number and that they would follow up with me the next day. They did not. Two days later, I called again and was told that the freight carrier didn't know where the item was and it looked like it never shipped. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Super disappointing, but between this and lots of other flaws on their website and tracking system, it's clear that this company has some really serious flaws in its operational infrastructure. I will not order from Hayneedle again, and I don't recommend it. Most of the items can also be found on Amazon, a company that actually knows what they are doing and has more influence with third party suppliers.

I ordered a file cabinet online based upon the picture shown on the Hayneedle's website. When the cabinet arrived I discovered it was not the unit pictured on the site but a unit that was intended as an add on the a base unit which I should have ordered. What I needed was for "Hayseed" to contact the manufacturer, and order replacement panel, which I was more than willing to pay for. They refused. What they suggested was to send the unit back - well over 100 pounds or check for another dealer. I eventually found another resource. That resource, Grainger, has been very gracious and helpful. This is second hand furniture. They didn’t even had the decency to wrap the tools/ bolts on a new package. They just taped the ** out of it. I mean, even the instructions were used before. See pictures. And it’s dented and rusting. Nothing wrong with second hand furniture. Everything wrong with ** about it. If they sell a furniture claiming it’s new, it means they might be not telling the truth about everything else related to the brand. Next time I want a used chair I’ll go straight to OfferUp.

I ordered a piece of furniture from Hayneedle for my mother’s bday. It was way cheaper than anywhere else that I found it and it arrived super quickly which was great. What wasn’t so great was that they sent me the totally wrong color item (white instead of dark brown wood) despite saying they shipped the correct one. I tried contacting Hayneedle's customer service department for help with either a return or refund as well as the shipment of the correct colored item... only to never receive a response. I tried again a week later with exactly the same results. No response, no resolution, just totally blown off.
Now I have an almost $200 piece of furniture in a color that won’t match whatsoever. $200 might not seem like much money but when you’re a broke college grad still living at home and barely making 15K a year, $200 is a lot and honestly it was money I didn’t have in the first place. Beyond unhappy with the disrespect and lack of communication here. Despite being poor as heck, next time I’ll spend the extra cash elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would. Never shopping with Hayneedle again!

Ordered drop leaf table online. Received email next day telling me order cancelled. Called Hayneedle to reorder. Order was cancelled again. Customer service would only tell me that accounting could not verify info provided on order. I confirmed information several times by phone and email. Order was rejected again. Delivery address was different from billing address. I do this all the time. Have never had this problem with any other company. Customer service stonewalled me over and over. Accounting was never available to explain the issue. I am very unhappy with this company. I will never do business with them again. I advise others to order from another company.

I bought four Adirondack chairs March 10, 2018 for $360.00. They were delivered and I had to pay $100 to have them put together. It is now August 2, 2018 and the chairs are peeling. The paint is peeling! I called today and spoke with Mika who was very kind but said I could not return them and the only thing he could do is give me 40% back because it had been too long and the company does not honor their merchandise after 30 days.
So I asked to speak to his supervisor and she finally came on the line. Her name was Natasha (she said spelled with a “J.”). She was rude and had a very uncomfortable tone to her voice and additionally was defensive. SHE said she would only give me $75.00 back! Then she said only with a store credit. Am I mad? Yes. Not only because the store will not stand behind their merchandise but also because of her attitude and rudeness. I demanded she mail me the 40% and not a store credit. She finally agreed to do that... after I told her I was going to contact the BBB, and explain this mess on the Internet. I am a senior and saved up to buy these chairs for my 560 sq. ft. cottage. What a disappointment. And you need a new customer service lady.

We contacted Hayneedle with reservations. They asked that we send pictures of the flaws we were talking about. Once we sent pictures they replace the product. We were pleasantly surprised. This is the way it should have been handled but we were surprised at a company actually and let the proper way. I would purchase anything from Hayneedle again knowing that they stand behind their product.

I purchased an outdoor patio furniture from Hayneedle the first time as their price was cheaper than Amazon for almost the identical product. The packages were originally being sold in sets of two at Amazon, but on Hayneedle, they let me buy them in singles so I bought three instead of two pairs. Hayneedle's ordering process was okay but there was no confirmation of my purchase for a few days and I didn’t get an immediate email with my purchase details. Then, we had a major shipping problem. Hayneedle had a giant error on their part and I finally got an email saying that my order was confirmed. I also got an email with the shipping that was already later than what the website said which was “Shipped in seven to 10 days”. It was nearly triple what the website said the shipping would be.
Nonetheless, I finally got an email saying that the furniture was shipped and it was through a third party shipper so I got another email from the shipper. It was a large and a couple of hundred pounds item and it needed to be signed so I had to pick a date off the calendar because we had to be here to sign for it. I took a half day of work for it. When the day arrived, I got a call from an additional shipper who told us that the box came to them so I had to schedule with them as to when I wanted it delivered. It added an extra week to the additional week that it was already late. Plus, I had to take another half day of work to stay home to sign for the package. It was terrible.
I contacted Hayneedle’s customer service and they gave me a percentage off which was fair and significant because it was a large purchase. Their customer service was good in that regard. When we open the second box, there was one chair in it but it obviously had been separated from the other chair and the hardware needed to put together both chairs must have been zip tied to the other chair which was no longer in the box. So, we waited an additional week for the hardware to be sent to us to put together the third chair.
I called their customer service the second time because I had no hardware and they were less friendly and didn’t care. I spent another eight days to get the hardware in the mail. So, from the date I ordered to the date that all of my chairs were put together and usable was over a month. Overall, I like the chairs and the quality is good. They do exactly what I need them to do. But, there were some hiccups along the way and I’d be hesitant to order something large again from them where they had to employ a third party shipper because there had been some sort of disconnection.

I recently ordered a headboard, nightstand, wall clock and two wooden trays from Hayneedle online. 2 days after my order I received an email that my order was cancelled because it was being shipped to a different address than my credit card address (same last name on ship to but different mailing address). I called immediately to have my order reinstated and was told to call back accounting on Monday. When I did call on Monday I was told that my request would not be opened for 3 days by the accounting department, which means delivery would be delayed as well and there was no one I could talk to in the accounting office. I am so disgusted by the outcome of this order. I will never order from this company again.

I like Hayneedle’s price and they come fast. They were competitive and the quality of their product is good for the price I'm paying for. I have quite a few issues with a product not lighting though. I was at a ski resort and this product was set at sea level or somewhere no more than 8,000 feet. However, ordering from them is pretty easy and when I ordered from them the first time, they were in my timeframe, so I went back to them again.

I bought an outdoor float storage from Hayneedle. I was doing Google search since we just got a pool and it was one of the pictures that came up. I clicked on it and it had good reviews. The ordering process was basic. I didn't create an account, I just checked in as a guest because I didn't put my credit card information. I know of too many people who have gotten identity fraud and identity theft so I always just click in that way and it was pretty easy. I placed the order and then it came quick. I like the float storage that I bought. It keeps all of the toys organized for the kids around the pool area. I like the fact that it has wheels and you simply wanna move it closer. The quality is great for the price when I put it together. I'm happy and I will recommend it.

My Daughter's 16th Birthday was to have a new bedroom set. She found what she wanted on Hayneedle and I ordered and later received 3 boxes on June 21st. Well ahead of her July 2nd Birthday. 3 boxes consisting of 1 headboard and 2 sets of bed rails and slats - one set for a completely different set. I needed a footboard to make this all work. My first call to Hayneedle I was put on hold while they called Coaster. Then they came back and said it should be on the way soon. I got a similar story each week I called. Four calls plus initial - Then last week was told they needed a picture of the bed-rails sent me that were for a different bed-set so Coaster would believe me and handle! No mention of that before.
I send several pictures and waited. Then a series of emails. On each call I have had to re-explain what happened. I just wanted my daughter's missing footboard! She is sleeping on the new queen mattress on the floor currently. I have received no real action from Hayneedle and they must have a terrible relationship with Coaster. I will never deal with either again. Latest status today is it should ship next Monday or Tuesday next week! Nobody is in a rush there. I wonder if there is someone out there with an extra footboard going through the same pain. The customer service is very nice but nothing has gotten done. A sign of incompetence and lack of follow up with a supplier that is not helpful. Should not be my problem. I don't even think they deserve 1 star.

Hayneedle was the highest price, but they were the only one that had a bed available. I purchased a toddler bed and ordering it went smooth. I just typed it in and it came out. I called somebody before I purchased it to see if they would do a price match, and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. Also, the quality of the bed is great. Hayneedle has good customer service and I would recommend them.

This company authorized your card for the full amount at the time of purchase which most would assume is the full charge for the item. It is not, the company then charges you each time a piece ships which causes a double hold of your funds. Then when you call to have the items returned and refunded they want to charge you a refusal fee. Very unethical practice. I will never purchase anything from them again!

We ordered the item (Sportsstuff Poporazzi 2 Person Ski Tube) July 6th and received confirmation that the item would be delivered July 13th. The kids were excited. On July 12th we received two emails: one stating the item was out of stock and later in the day stating the company would not honor their $99 price and the order was canceled by Hayneedle. We called customer service. The supervisor, Daniel, read the “fine print” that essentially Hayneedle does not have to honor their advertised prices even when they have confirmed a delivery date. Our family has ordered from this company previously and it appears that they have recently become part of Jet.com and Walmart. Enough said there. We will actively pass the word about this company’s unethical practices.

I bought a dog house from Hayneedle because it looked convenient and it was something that I don’t normally see on the stores. It was for outside and made out of wood. I just screwed it all together then it had shingles on top and it even had a little window with bars in it. It also had a deck on it for summertime. This was the first time I ordered anything and the experience was okay. It got here when it said it would, the quality was good and all the parts were there. The cost was better than average because I’ve seen some that were more expensive.

I am very angry over the lack of business practice this company has. They had a price of $99.00 listed online for a Sportsstuff Poparazzi 2 person tube. Today, the day before I was to receive the shipment I receive an email saying they cancelled my order. I called their 888# inquiring as to the reason for cancellation. This is the best part. They are changing the price to $329.00 and I can reorder at this price and they will give me a 25% discount. This is horrible. I believe they should honor the price I paid for it when I ordered and suck up their loss. I believe this is price gouging. The representative I spoke with said this happens frequently and apologized profusely. This is a horrible excuse for business. I will never shop with them again!

I bought a table, chairs, and a bar cart set from Hayneedle spending well over $1,000 with the company. The dining room table box was completely damaged on the outside. When I opened it to inspect it, the box crumbled. The table was poorly packed with styrofoam and it was also in bad shape. It was like a styrofoam glitter bomb. It was everywhere.
I immediately contacted Hayneedle complete with photos (which I have attached) and the situation. Hayneedle stated that they would give me a discount on the table if I kept it. Not sure who would want a table that was damaged as badly as this but I declined. They then stated that I need to rebox the table and take it to a FedEx center to have it shipped back. I have no means to take an item of this size. My car is too small. Plus, the box that the item came in was completely destroyed and I couldn't use it if I wanted to. The nearest drop off location from where I live is 30 minutes away.
I explained this to Hayneedle and they stated that I had to return the item to get a refund. They were insistent for me to pay for the reboxing myself and send the item back. Out of my own pocket. The FedEx drop offs are out of my location by 30 minutes and are only open M-F 9-5. I would have to take off work to do what they wanted me to do. Plus, it wouldn't fit in my car even if I could do all that. This is no fault of my own and despite explaining this to the Hayneedle rep who contacted me, they simply did not care. I explained that intended to send back both the chairs and bar cart I bought as the matching set (That I didn't even unbox) but cannot send back the table because of these problems. They didn't care. After emails back and forth, it dawned on me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company while shopping online.
Here is how Hayneedle treats a customer who spends over $1,000 with them for their products. 1) Hayneedle sends something a customer paid for with a damaged box and a damaged item inside. 2) Customer contacts Hayneedle and Hayneedle gives the customer a hard time. Offering nothing more than a return label despite the customer having no way to return the item because of the box that the item was sent in crumbled when opened. The shipping materials and poor packing was destroyed inside. 3) Hayneedle only offers one solution. Hayneedle wants the customer to take off from work, pay to rebox the item out of their pocket, and return a damaged item that the company will write off as damaged anyway. They now refuse to refund or replace the item. I will never buy another item from Hayneedle. Be careful of the discounts when they ask you to keep a damaged product. Better yet, just avoid buying from them altogether.

Less than six months after receiving my Chintaly 24" Glass Lazy Susan, it popped and cracked for no reason. We were just sitting there, not near it and heard a pop and it was cracked the entire width. I emailed customer service and received back a form letter reply that it had been more than 90 days since receipt and more than the 30 days past warranty so no refund or replacement could be done. When I requested it be escalated to a supervisor, I received the same form letter response. When I tried to email back the supervisor, my email was declined. There was obviously a flaw in the glass of this item, it cost almost $200 and I expected it to last more than 6 months. I will never buy from Hayneedle again and you should not either. The least they could have done was give me a coupon toward another purchase but I really wanted them to replace the item.

Hayneedle is the worst company that has ever existed. I'm going to make it very brief but beware DON'T EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THEM. I purchased yesterday 8 items, as a first time user, and the amount totaled to $2209. My debit card was charged for $2209 and I thought that's it. This morning I wake up and I start seeing charges on my account for 3 of those items again but this as 3 separate charges. I called Hayneedle customer service and I asked them what is going on. So this is where they explained to me that first they hold $2209 (which came out of my account already the day before) and as each item gets shipped I am charged for that item and they release the money that they took yesterday with 4 business days, but they only release the money for items that got shipped.
So pretty much in order for me to buy from them I would have needed in my account $4418, luckily I have the money so I didn't go in overdraft but this is the most ridiculous policy that I have ever seen. I buy online all the time and this is the first time that something like this happened to me. WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD, I WANT PEOPLE TO BE AWARE ABOUT THIS POLICY. I know I am never going to buy from them again. I will post my review on every possible website affiliated with Hayneedle. Screw them all!!!

The online ordering was easy and navigating the website was fine. I purchased Red Ember Glacier Stone Gas Fire Column with free cover, as I wanted one for the patio. I ordered two and one of them didn't work. And it was nice that Hayneedle refunded me the money without giving me a big hassle, so I appreciated that. It was a good experience. The cost was also good, now that the product is working.

Less than 2 years ago I ordered a pair of “all-weather” wicker chairs. Shortly after putting on the porch, they began rusting & staining the white wicker. Then the “wicker” began splitting all over. Now the seats are completely split through, so they are unusable. When I called customer service to register my dissatisfaction, they just said they were sorry, but there is nothing they can do, because the chairs had a 30-day warranty.

My husband purchased some outdoor border which turned out to be very cheap and disappointing, I ask my husband to return the product as it was not as described and did not work in our area. The company has refused to refund the entire purchase amount. They are charging us shipping as shipping was free. My husband called and he was e-mailed shipping labels. He returned the packages to FedEx and they returned them still no refund. This company has a license to steal. Do not buy from Hayneedle.

Hayneedle was the only one that had the desk that I wanted. Their website was pretty easy to navigate and having a wide variety of filters definitely helped out in narrowing down to what I wanted. The desk was delivered quickly and it had pretty good quality. Shipping was less than a week, which is great. Everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend it.

My neighbors bought some chairs and they recommended Hayneedle. I scrolled through all the different chairs and picked out the ones that I liked and ordered them. It’s a good website and they have a lot of good furniture. I bought Adirondack chairs and though I got a cheaper pair, it was appropriately priced.

My first clue with poor customer service is when I ordered white glove delivery service. The man they sent had no clue on how to put the sectional/fire-pit and accompanying chairs together. It took my boyfriend, myself and he 6 hours! Most of the work was my boyfriend. Now the real problem. After spending close to $1,600 on this all of my cushions have faded terribly. To the point of non usability. When I called Hayneedle they said they only guarantee under 30 days. Unheard of for Sunbrella type fabric. This was only 6 months! I was told to turn my cushions over to the less faded part. Seriously?!

I placed an order for an office cart on June 24, 2018. When I selected this product from the Hayneedle website it didn't indicate that it was out of stock. I was even sent a confirmation email that I could expect delivery on July 2, 2018. This product never arrived on the estimated delivery date so I contacted customer service. I was told that it would be shipped out on July 9, 2018 by FedEx, and at the time I placed my order the item wasn't available and sorry for the inconvenience. I will never buy from this company again.

I reached out to their customer service department regarding a failed delivery by FedEx. FedEx chose not to deliver because we had an excessive heat warning which did not stop the mailman, UPS or any other carrier. It was an item that I needed delivered for an event and the customer service person decided to tell me how I should consider the reason why FedEx didn’t deliver on and on and that I would be responsible if I return the product when received. Not helpful at all. They have lost a first time customer forever. Extremely unprofessional and not concerned. Never again. I wanted to give no stars.

My wife bought me a hammock for Father's Day but it didn't have a pad, so we started looking online and pricing some of them. We came across a really nice one from Hayneedle that we liked, so we purchased it. Two or three days later, it showed up. We had it put up in the yard and when I laid on it, I almost fell asleep. It has a nice color, fitting and roping setup. Although, shipping to Alaska sucks as it almost cost the same price as the products. And Hayneedle only ships FedEx or UPS so there’s no ground shipping. But overall it's a great product with great pricing, and I'm happy with it.

Never had this happen prior and not pleased. I placed an order approximately $750.00 2 days ago - over the weekend. I find out today they have canceled my order. Hayneedle reports my information did not match. When I spoke to them they report my information is questionable as I moved 6 months ago. Never have I had a situation like this. I took all the time and effort to find what I wanted and to be treated like this is deplorable. They send an email cancelling my order. Now I must wait up to 24-48 hours to find out if they can resubmit my order. How weird. If this order does go through I will never, NEVER order from them again. And part of me wants to cancel the order as why do I want to do business with someone like this. I may decide to do that when they inform me if they may give honor to me for spending my money on their precious website! Buyer beware!!!

I recently bought two Adirondack chairs from Hayneedle for my daughter and her husband as an anniversary present. Ordering was just a matter of clicking on the items, how many you want, your name and then you check out. Everything went smooth. The fit of those chairs was excellent. Their jigs were a little out of whack on the armrest, but everything else fits absolutely perfect.

I purchased a bunk bed about 3 months ago. Remind you the box was completely damaged. When delivered/open it was missing screws to put it together. I called them and complained. They gave us a credit to go to Home Depot and purchases the screws and apologized for the damage to the box. Once put together the ladder to go to the top bunk is a safety hazard, which I had no clue until June 20th. My child fell off and we then check the bars on the ladder, they were loose. My husband tighten them up but I happen to go up the ladder and almost burst my butt because they were loose again. All along my kids been playing up and down on the bunk and the bars to go up the ladder are terrible... I will never shop at this website/company again. A waste of money.

The first thing I ordered from Hayneedle was a hall tree. I've been wanting an antique and I couldn't find it. But I found that one at Hayneedle and got it. It's very well made and worth the money. This was the first time I ever ordered from Hayneedle. Ordered 4 outdoor chairs, which were far from cheap and which should have arrived by June 30th in plenty of time for July 4th celebrations. My credit card was charged, but when I called customer service to inquire about the tracking information and why I didn't receive anything, customer service said the order was flagged for security and was canceled as the billing address had an error. I told them it was correct online and the same as the shipping address.
If there was truly an issue, why didn't someone reach out to me?! They verified there wasn't an issue and the order will now go through on the next business day. Unfortunately that means I won't get the chairs until after July 4th! They won't expedite the shipping even if it was their error. They first tried to say I had the wrong billing address but I said it is accurate within the order details as well as I confirmed when placing the order. The blame was put on me when the error was on their side and they will not help to correct their error. They also said they always notify people of issues yet I never received a call or email! Do not purchase from Hayneedle!!! With reputable sites like Wayfair and Overstock do not set yourself up for aggravation! Truly disappointed.

So this is my first time ordering from Hayneedle and will also be my last. First of all Hayneedle took three days to debit my account, and when the charge came through it overdrafted me. But I let this go. Now, once I received my mirrors, that’s when this sordid story really begins. One mirror was damaged, a gigantic crack right on the mirror. And the other one was missing the hardware to hang it ENTIRELY. So essentially, I spent hundreds on two completely worthless mirrors. I tried to contact customer service and they debited my account IMMEDIATELY for a replacement (how convenient). Then they expect me to somehow lift and stuff a five foot tall hundred pound mirror back into a box, drive it to the FedEx and pay to have it shipped back for a replacement!!!
On top of that the missing hardware on the second mirror would take one to TWO WEEKS for a response on the request to the missing part. So now I’m out hundreds of dollars with no mirrors and would have to wait weeks for my items. This is completely unfair and horrible treatment to customers especially new ones you’re trying to gain loyalty from. I’m upset and frustrated from being given the runaround and I just want a refund from my worthless mirrors. People have children, rent and other things to take care of. Hayneedle simply doesn’t care about their customers.

In May 2018, I ordered a patio furniture set from Hayneedle (table and 8 chairs). It wasn't cheap at a cost of over $2k. But the brand had a good reputation and I had ordered other things from Hayneedle and it was the cheapest price on the web I could find. As part of the product offering, I purchased the White Glove delivery service at the cost of another $162. Being that my husband travels so much, and I only have 3 young boys at home, I thought that was a pretty good price to get my furniture delivered and assembled so we could start enjoying meals on the deck. The day came where I got the confirmation that the furniture was in my destination city and all I needed to do was click on a link and schedule an appointment.
Fault #1. That link worked from what I could see but the info goes nowhere. About 3 days later, I get a call from the delivery company that I needed to schedule an appointment. Ok, I can live with this. The furniture will be here soon. So, the day of delivery comes. They sent one elderly man to deliver the very very heavy set. He could barely get it off of the truck on to the dolly. Then when I asked him about the white glove delivery, he had no idea. He called his dispatch and they said they'd call me back. Well, that was two weeks ago. After daily phone calls to both the delivery company (Estes) and Hayneedle, with never the promised returned phone call (need I say, I was promised that every day they would have everyone over... and every day, I'd call and they'd make an excuse for why it didn't happen, etc), my furniture still sits in boxes on my lawn.
And then today, Hayneedle says "can you see if you can find someone to help you put it together and we'll give you the $162 back". For real? I paid for a service, expected one and never got it. Thanks for the refund (and the 10% discount for the inconvenience) but this is principle. Not once did Hayneedle own this issue. They kept calling the delivery company and telling me that someone would call me back (which they never did). And their idea of own was refunding me money. I have worked for an insurance company for years and we constantly use vendors to deliver services for our customers. And ya know what, those vendors screw up ALL of the time.
But as the company that contracts with the vendor, we always took accountability for the vendors' mistakes and came up with a resolution. Granted, I got my money back but now I have to find someone that can help me put this together. Really? If you can't deliver a product, don't sell it. I will say that every person I spoke to was pleasant but none of them could resolve the problem, most likely because it was out of their control. However, as a company, Hayneedle needs to rethink what they are selling as their delivery services as they did not deliver with me. Sadly, I probably won't be buying from Hayneedle again as I don't know if I can trust them to deliver.
