    I purchased the Vasser Orb Fountain. It arrived damaged and missing the pump. I went online to report the problem. The screen showed my item was “eligible for return.” I filled in the drop down boxes and clicked “Continue” nothing happened. I tried using my phone; same thing, I could only get to the “continue” button. I reported the problem twice via Hayneedle’s “Contact Us” page. Both “emails” went unanswered. I am going to initiate a dispute with my credit card company. I cannot believe a company operates this way given the competition from Wayfair’s family of companies and Amazon: companies that offer genuine customer support. I called customer service on a Thursday, waited over 50 minutes on hold for a “customer advocate” to answer the call.

    I had been looking for outdoor daybeds - I couldn't find quite the right thing. They were either ugly or too small or too rickety or too expensive. Then I did a google shopping search for outdoor daybeds and found this super cool thing that Hayneedle had. I was really nervous when I saw the reviews about Hayneedle but then I figured people only tend to write bad reviews not good ones. So I took the chance. In the purchase window it told me it would be delivered around Jun 19, but maybe later bc of COVID. Then I got an email asking to schedule my delivery Jun 15 or later (which is also a very nice service, usually it's we're coming ready or not). Then I got a call from the delivery service and they asked if they could deliver even earlier. In the end, I got my item delivered 9 days early, in great condition. I got a really unique item, for a great price, delivered early.

    Purchase Weber Genesis II natural gas only to realize I needed propane one. Immediately within 5 minutes I emailed to cancel the order and switch to propane one. I called next day (number takes to only answering machine) to confirmed my email. Naturally, no one calls back. Next thing I heard was from the shipping company saying they are delivering the grill. Told them to stop and hold until I resolved this with Hayneedle. Problem begins. It took almost a week to talk to someone (had to get the 'real' number from shipping company) and they told me they will take it back with $294.00 fee I have to pay for 'handling' fee. I ask them to provide paper document stating the policy. Never received it. After 2 weeks later, I got an email saying they received the grill and they will refund me minus $294.00. Never I will do business with them and nor should you.

    Overcharged by $91. Said credit issued and it wasn’t. Would give no star if possible, Purchased a second time from them and used their 10% off code. It showed it deducted it on the screen but once I clicked place order it removed it and charged full amount. I contacted customer service and was told it would be fixed at shipping but it wasn’t. Had 3 different people tell me it would be fixed. Finally put in a claim through my PayPal and they told PayPal it was shipping charges (Shipping was free. I have the invoice.). Company is just a rip off. Prices aren’t better if they overcharge at checkout.

    I’d been looking for a few items for 2 weeks and I’d stumbled across Hayneedle. I usually research a website prior to ordering from it but because I found the items I was looking for on Hayneedle, I quickly bought them. Then I researched the website and found mostly 1 star reviews and I immediately got scared. I received an email from Hayneedle saying that my items will be shipped the following day and it was. I received all 3 items (bookcases) with no issues. I’m a real customer and had a really good experience with Hayneedle.

    I received a broken lamp. I could not send the email because it did not accept my order number. The phone number was not in service. The top of my lamp was cracked with all the pieces inside the wrapping. Almost cut myself. Mostly disappointed that I could not get in touch with Hayneedle.

    Ordered two Jeco Santa Maria Wicker Patio Rockers at over $250.00. About six months later plastic wicker started becoming brittle, breaking off and unraveling. Hayneedle advertised the customer would enjoy these chairs "season after season". Customer service refused to help saying the chairs they sold me were warranted for 30 days. Why would they even sell furniture with only a 30 day warranty? So much for season after season enjoyment. So much for truth in advertising. Beware of this company and if you have a problem with a product sold by them, be prepared for a nice customer service agent to say "sorry, we can't help you".

    I had bought the kitchen chairs here 1 yr ago. They are solid. We love them. I called yesterday to get 2 more matching chairs. On the phone I got a strange survey request I could not get out of so I hung up. I tried again and got the same thing. I never was able to get to a rep to place my order. However good for me. I went to Amazon and got the same chairs exactly for $60 less!! GOODBYE Hayneedle. I won't be back!!!

    I ordered counter stools from Hayneedle and when they arrived they were the height of their barstools. I contacted customer service, only to have them tell me that their counter stools are the same height as their bar stools. I then had to screenshot the counter stool specifications to prove to them that there is about a five-inch difference on their website between the two.

    It was after this that I then discovered that THEY HAVE TWO PRODUCTS LABELED AS THE EXACT SAME THING WITH DIFFERENT SPECIFICATIONS. That's correct. You can order the TOV Furniture Denmark Counter Stool and get a 30 inch counter stool, or you can order the TOV Furniture Denmark Counter Stool and get a 25.9 inch counter stool. Exact same label. Rather than apologize for their poorly labeled website and poor customer service, I was told I could return the chairs and then I would be the one that would have to re-order the "correct", same labeled chairs. AKA their customer service is not capable of doing anything.

    I purchased a table online for $1300. It was delivered and the quality was not worth that much money. I began the return process. It was very frustrating. The trucking company Hayneedle uses would have me schedule a day, wait from 8-5, and never call or show up. They did this to me 5 times! Finally they showed up on a day that wasn’t even scheduled. So after a month of being jacked around the table was picked up and sent back! It has been 3 weeks and Hayneedle refuses to give me a refund until the table reaches their warehouse!

    I’ve called and emailed. They tell me they will go ahead and issue a refund even though the table isn’t back yet because of all my troubles... And the refund never happens! How long can they hold my $1300 hostage? It’s not my fault the trucking company they chose to do their business with isn’t giving them the table! Why punish me? I’ve done my part in good faith. I need that money back to purchase another table. Please be aware that this may happen to you. It’s not worth it. I will never shop at Hayneedle again.

    I ordered 2 Belham Living Blakely Arm Chairs and received 2 ottomans instead. I had to get those picked and reorder the chairs. Now, they delivered one chair and one ottoman, still not 2 chairs. The box holding the chair was ripped completely open and the chair was coming out. I assembled the chair and it’s only large enough for a small child and extremely uncomfortable. Now both the chair and the incorrect ottoman are going back. It has been very frustrating and I will not order again from this company.

    I did some online shopping to compare prices of the iRobot Roomba i7 vacuum cleaner, and found that Hayneedle had the best price at almost $100 less than other retailers. I should have known then that it was too good to be true! I placed the order on January 1st, my credit card information was accepted (I saw the pending charge on my account), and a ship date of January 17th was noted in my order. By January 21st, after not receiving any correspondence from Hayneedle, I decided to check my order online. All it said on my order was "This item was cancelled." No explanation, no email, no phone call...nothing. Such a terrible way to conduct business. Of course the item is no longer available on their site, so I will be buying elsewhere, and no doubt paying $100 more than I was quoted online with Hayneedle. I'll think twice before I ever order anything from this company again.

    I was reluctant to order a 3 piece accent table set from Hayneedle based on all the negative reviews but I’m glad I took the chance. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones. Delivery was spot on and there was no damage to my order. Tables were very easy to put together.

    Ordered Casey II Daybed with trundle. In description of product it read: "Trundle included: yes". The bed arrived in 2 boxes and assembled. It was discovered that the trundle was not shipped. When Hayneedle was contacted, they said the trundle was not included and that the trundle was, in fact, discontinued. They said, "You have to send it back if not wanted." I explained that packing material was already disposed of. Customer service replied: "Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy boxes to ship it in." This is the best they could do for me. Shipping it back. Sure it will arrive in more pieces than what it came. They could care less! Very rude CS! Wayfair would have said "just kept it!"

    For the holidays, I purchased 2 Solar Smart Garden statues for my mother on December 8th. When I received the delivery, only 1 statue arrived. After exchanging emails with Customer Service they informed me they would work with the supplier to locate the item. This took a few days to sort out. I ended up having to have another sent out and they refused to send the item directly to my Mother's address citing that they are only able to send to original shipping address. This meant I would have to send it separately to my family as to not hold up the other gifts I was sending.

    When the package arrived and was opened the statue was broken into several pieces even though there was NO visible damage to either the outside box or the inner packaging. It was almost like it was intentionally packed broken. I sent photos in and was told they will not send a replacement to my Mother but they had refunded my original purchase. Now, I am not only out the gift I purchased for my Mother but I am also out the additional money spent for shipping a second package, not to mention a lot of my time spent trying to get this resolved that is time I can’t get back. I am not satisfied with the level of customer service I have received from this company and will not be ordering any more items from them.

    The delivery was the first challenge. I scheduled a delivery for the day before Thanksgiving. The day before the scheduled delivery I received a call explaining that there was not enough room on the truck, so I wouldn’t be getting my delivery. In order to have the table for Thanksgiving, I went and picked up the table. Then putting together the table was a challenge as the wood is very thin and soft, very cheap. On top of that there are some off stain portions on the table, making it appear cheap. Lastly and most importantly, the chairs shown with the table do not match and will not fit under the table. Researching the set “Kennedy” there are no chairs. In calling Hayneedle, the return process is so cumbersome it makes it so hard to do anything. I wouldn’t suggest Hayneedle or this set.

    I work for a government entity and made a purchase through Walmart.com. This was not my first order. After the 1st order, I send Hayneedle our tax exempt cert and was refunded the tax. The second order was placed in May and I am still getting the run around to be refunded the tax. I have sent multiple emails and get nothing but the run around. I would NEVER recommend ordering from this company if you expect any type of customer service or resolution for your problem.

    Whenever you place an order, be prepared to have your account billed twice. Once when the order is placed and again when they actually ship the order. Granted they say they will release the original pending amount in 2 to 3 business days, but really.... Tying your money up for days. Hope the product ordered is worth the aggravation. It would have to blow me away before I ever order from this place again.

Well yesterday it says the package was delivered but I could not find the package anywhere plus I was home all day and never saw one delivery truck.     Finley Home Hudson 4 Cube Rotating Bookcase BLACK. Finley Home Hudson 4 Cube Rotating Bookcase WHITE. Ordered From: www.hayneedle.com. Order Number: **. Order Date: 12/1/2019. Total Amount of Order: $164.19. Black Unit: Charged $85.70 on 12/02/2019. White Unit: Charged $78.48 on 12/5/2019. Ordered 2 units from Hayneedle on December 1st. Our Bank Account showed a transaction of $164.19 instantly pending for the total cost of the 2 units. The next day on December 2nd our bank was charged $85.70 for the Black Unit that was shipped. We called customer service and informed them that the entire amount was already pending in our bank account and that they must have double charged us. We were told that the total order amount is placed on hold with our bank at the time of the order and that each item would be shipped separately.

    Once an item shipped, they would charge our bank account again for the individual price of the item. Hayneedle state that once the last item in our order was shipped, that they would release the original hold of $164.19 from our bank. On December 5th the white unit was shipped and our bank was charged $78.48 and the hold of $164.19 was removed the next day. Upon arrival of the boxes, we found that the packaging was very thin, this is a 60 lb unit and the cardboard was falling apart. On December 7th we opened both units to assemble them, we found the bottom square of the white unit was cracked in ½ and could not be used. The board material is of poor quality, very light and fragile. There was very little packing material inside the box.

    Upon assembly of the black unit which was NOT damaged, the instructions indicate to use camlocks to assemble, but there were no camlocks in the box. My husband indicated that camlocks were actually not needed to put this item together. The instructions say to use an item that is not needed. Tell you to use an item that they do not include with the unit. Then they did not send enough round black stickers to cover up the screw holes, so we have to find round stickers to cover the remaining holes.

    On December 7th I called Hayneedle to find out about getting a replacement panel for the white unit that came in broken. All I wanted was for them to ship me a new square bottom shelf. I called 2 times and spoke to different representatives to confirm that the below information was correct. This is what I was told...

    • The Distributor does not provide replacement parts for this item, distributor is out of China so they could not call them to ask if they had an extra bottom they could send me.
    • I am required to ship the entire 60 lb unit back to the warehouse. They did offer me a free shipping label.
    • My Money would be refunded when the item was RECEIVED and PROCESSED at the warehouse. 2 to 3 weeks.
    • NO EXCHANGES - MY ONLY OPTION IS TO RETURN THE UNIT FOR A REFUND.
    • To get a new white unit, I have to place a new order on the Hayneedle Website and start this process all over again.

    • I purchase this item on black Friday weekend while it was ON SALE for $78.48. Today the item is going to cost me $127.50. Tomorrow this item will cost me $180.99.

    Beyond disappointed with Hayneedle. Entire Experience Was Horrible, Frustrating, Still Unresolved. Catherine **.

    We purchased this Gazebo in May and put it up in Mid June. When we took it down for the winter it ripped at several of the seams. It only has a 30 day warranty which should have been a dead giveaway that it was cheaply made, but it had so many good reviews that we thought for 292.95 dollars it would last more than a few months. Hayneedle continues to carry inferior products and there is no recourse. WE WERE OFFERED TO BUY A NEW COVER FOR $180.0. Since they don't last we declined their offer. We will not buy from them again. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS IF THAT OPTION HAD BEEN AVAILABLE. SB

    I ordered a TV stand from Hayneedle and the first delivery had extreme damage. I rejected the piece and it stayed on the truck. I contacted hayneedle and it was taken care of professionally by the service rep and I ordered a new one. Amazingly, the 2nd order arrived today with the exact damage to the shipping box and piece as the first. I again rejected the order and it stayed on the truck. My dissatisfaction is not so much with hayneedle as much as it is with the 3rd party delivery company.

    I immediately called Hayneedle and the service rep was patient and we worked through it. I ordered the same piece again (3rd time a charm?) for a slight discount but I feel the discount should have been much more. I have been trying to get this TV stand now for 6 weeks. The management at hayneedle should definitely look into how furniture is packed and shipped. Why on earth would the delivery company even think about delivering damaged furniture as it leaves their facility?

    We recently ordered a dresser with matching end table. The end table arrived 1st and after unpacking it discovered that it was slightly damaged and was also of such poor quality that we immediately contacted (11/17/19) the customer service department. In our message we told them that the quality of the end table was such that we wanted to cancel the order for the matching dresser. We received an immediate response informing us that a FedEx pick-up would be sent within 24-hours for the end table, that the shipment for the dresser would be interrupted and canceled and that our purchase would receive a full refund.

    On 11/26/19 they attempted to deliver the dresser that was supposed to be cancelled, we refused delivery. We are now being told that they will charge us $211 for freight as the cancellation was a "preference return". Buyer beware... the items sold by Hayneedle represent a very poor quality (remarkably so) and their customer service department doesn't speak the truth.

    I recently ordered several items from Hayneedle. Totaling about $1,300.00. At one point I had triple the pending charges about $3,900.00 in my account-thus bringing my balance to $10 and making my own money inaccessible to me for over a week. Even after I received my items, I still had one additional pending charge that did not drop off. Every Hayneedle rep that I spoke to denied that this happened and didn’t help me resolve the issue. I was even told that if I disputed the mistaken charge that I would lose my right to return my items for any reason. My bank had to get involved to settle the matter. The products are very nice but the Hayneedle accounting has major problems. I recommend using other platforms that bill more fairly and manage mistakes more promptly and more efficiently.

    I ordered a pewter mantel clock. I received a 22" x 8" wooden tray. The packing slip was correct and I find it hard to see how someone could mistake a wooden tray for a pewter mantel clock. Customer service seemed to think this was an everyday occurrence and never apologized once. They now expect me to take my time to re-package the item and drive it down to FedEx to return it and then wait 4 business days after they receive the item to refund my money.

    I ordered 2 lamps from Hayneedle and they said they would be delivered in 5 days. After 5 days the gave me a new date. When nothing arrived I contacted them and they told me their supplier was trying to procure the lamps. By the third week, hearing nothing, I contacted them again. They said their supplier had procured the lamps but had a shipping problem. After 4 days I contacted them again! They said the supplier still had a shipping problem. This is hard to believe about an Internet supplier! After 3 days I again had to contact them and got the same story. Two days later I got an email asking me to review the lamps I never got. The next day I was notified that that lamps were out of stock! Three different reps blatantly lied to me by saying my lamps were procured and ready to ship. Hayneedle is unethical! Do not trust them! I wasted a month believing lies.

    I ordered the Ashley Fantell table set. In a few words my experience was bad. The pre-drilled holes was too small. I was missing one of the short legs, which mean I could not put all 3 tanked together. I will never order from them again. ????

    After I wrote this review Hayneedle contacted me and fixed the problem. I wrote them an email explaining why I was upset and they credited me back the money. I wish it was fixed when I initially called them but at least it's fixed now.

    I purchased something on Hayneedle and was given an order confirmation email with the total. About a week later my card was charged when the item shipped but the charge was more than what my receipt stated! I called and was told there must have been a computer error when I was given that first total on my receipt. So they just decided to go ahead and charge me more to correct it. That isn't ok. Errors happen but you can't give someone a receipt with a confirmation number and just change the amount a week later because you feel like it. That may even be illegal.

    They did nothing for me so I'm leaving this review to warn other people about how little they care. It wasn't a lot of money but the principal of the whole thing is what is driving me crazy. They made a mistake so suck it up and eat the $20. You can't just change my order cost. After I called to complain they went into my order and changed the total to the new higher amount but luckily I already printed the first receipt out. I will never shop there again because once your order is confirmed apparently that's not final and they can alter it when they feel like it. Not a place I want to give my money to.

    Stay away from this vendor. It sells merchandise that they don't have. Changing delivery dates from INITIAL DELIVERY OF 7 days to OVER 60 !! Not an easy task to cancel your order too!! !

    Terrible experience. We had ordered this Sectional Sofa last month and was told it would arrive in a few weeks. We later were notified that there was a delay in shipping and it would take an extra 3 weeks to arrive... The Couch is supposed to be arriving this Friday and we had not gotten any communication from Hayneedle up to this point. Nothing around how the couch will arrive, scheduling delivery, etc. (we were told they would reach out about this). We decided to reach out ourselves to coordinate - turns out they never restocked the couch... Now we are waiting for their supplier to respond to them (which they have not been). I swear, if I need to sit on my floor for another month (thanks, Hayneedle) I will need physical therapy for my back.

    We bought a five piece dining room set from Hayneedle online on Sunday. Two boxes were delivered on Monday (the next day!). Each box said it contained two chairs. I emailed Hayneedle thanking them for their amazing speed, but asking where was the table? They immediately replied, saying the table would be delivered on Tuesday, and it was. Everything arrived undamaged and in the correct color and with complete assembly instructions and parts. It took us about an hour and a half to assemble the set. It is of good quality and looks very nice in our dining area. Oh, and the Hayneedle price for the set was substantially less than what looks to me like the identical set for sale on other sites.     I bought the torches in Feb. I tried to put them together in late July. I can't get the 2 poles to screw into each other. I called to get a replacement or refund my money.     I ordered patio furniture and a lounger. The site said delivery by 4 days. After my purchase the order wasn't processed for 3 days. After a week product reaches my area. Then needed to schedule a delivery date because products needed to be signed for which then on their schedule pushed getting the products out another 5 days. To make things worse I scheduled with a confirmation showing my 4 hour window of delivery 10-2pm, 2:30 comes so I call automated status. Updates now states window is 1-5pm, been on hold for over 40 minutes. Just horrible service and false promises all over the site. The representative seems to have no idea what’s going on and no desire or ability to help. Very poor company. Highly recommend you not waste your time. Better off using Amazon, Wayfair or Overstock. At least they correspond and the employees are competent.

    I bought a coffee table and paid 75 to rush delivery on top of the 200$ for the coffee table. When I received the product it did not look like the 8 picture they have online. I called customer service and a gentleman name Henry help me but ended up hanging up on me without figuring out the best way to return this. Worst customer service. They wouldn’t Reimbursed the $75 shipping fee even if the product didn’t look like the picture.     I ordered a dresser from there and it came in two different boxes that were damaged. I still decided to try to put it together and it was missing about 80% of the screws. The wood was broken into pieces and hinges were bent beyond repair. I called to return it and the first sales rep wanted me to throw away the product for them. When I asked if they could pick it up she refused to answer me and said "have a good day" and hung up.

    I called back and the second person was more helpful and told me they would pick it up just to bring the 150+ pound boxes outside. The boxes were never picked up and when I called them the guy I spoke to put in the complete wrong address and said FedEx couldn't come pick it up anymore and I had to reschedule a pickup time for later in the week. No one at this company knows what they are doing. In short: they sell products that are sub-par, broken and/or missing parts and have incompetent support that makes you wonder how they are even still a company. Couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery.

The holes provided for legs to screw onto the wooden plank of the table were not proper & also no right Allen key provided. The K&B Manufacturer response was very bad & Hayneedle was also unable to provide any help. I had to again repack all the stuff to return the order back. This was all mess, which simply wasted my time & effort.

    On June 5, 2019, I purchased two chairs from Hayneedle. Since then, they have been harassing me with relentless unwanted marketing e-mail. On June 14 and June 17, I twice used their website to opt out of such e-mail (I never "opted in" in the first place, they did that to me). One June 18, after receiving more e-mail, I called the company to opt out again, this time by phone. Between June 18 and June 28 I received at least 12 more spam e-mail messages.

    I called Hayneedle again on June 28 to demand a stop to the e-mail, and they hung up on me. If you buy from these people, you better really like your stuff, because you will pay for it indefinitely with spam. I've never seen anything like this before, with any other retailer. Complaints were filed with the FTC, the Attorney General of Nebraska, and the Better Business Bureau.

    I ordered a pub table and chairs from Hayneedle and they arrived today. I love them. But, inside the box was another box. It was small and very heavy. It had a chemical inside. It was addressed to a stranger and not from Hayneedle. Not knowing what to make of it and not happy to have this odd chemical in my home I called Hayneedle. I spoke with a guy named Grant who was just as dumbfounded as I was. I gave him all the info I could from the box. He then proceeded to call FedEx and the person the box was addressed to. He arranged to have the box picked up asap.

    We figure that my box had been torn open at FedEx (it was a bit mangled and re-taped) and the weird box had fallen in and been trapped after it was re-taped. So, this was a FedEx problem, not a Hayneedle problem. But Grant from Hayneedle took care of the problem for me. He made arrangements to have the box picked up asap. AND on top of that refunded me $100 on my patio set. And it wasn’t even their fault. Awesome customer service. I am now a big Hayneedle fan and will continue to buy from them. Oh, and FedEx also called me to make sure everything was handled well from there.

    The loveseat is very nice and assembly was difficult but not impossible. But one bolt bent during assembly and no extras were provided. I called the help number/ Hayneedle customer service provided on the assembly instructions. I ordered it a few months ago so didn’t remember if it was from Hayneedle directly or through another site such as Amazon. They couldn’t find my order using name, email or phone. They told me if I ordered through Amazon they couldn’t talk to me or help me, even though it was their product. For a single bolt! There was no order paperwork in the box.

    I finally found the order number on the mailing label, and had ordered directly from Hayneedle so I called them back. I was then told they couldn’t provide a replacement bolt because the chair and assembly parts were packaged and shipped from overseas. I don’t care where they assemble and ship from, but I expect them to be able to service their product. The local hardware store didn’t have a replacement bolt that would work. So I suppose I’ll have to keep looking at hardware stores and online to try to find a replacement bolt so I can complete assembly on my $600 chair. They’d get zero stars if that was an option.

    I ordered a toy box for my granddaughter. They charged my card and held the funds. After 6 days I checked and noticed that there was no activity on the order so I contacted customer service and they assured me that it would ship out the following Monday. Monday came and went and still nothing. I contacted them again and they got back to me after 1 day and notified me that the item was not available and they were cancelling my order and they did issue a refund. Does it really take 10 days to figure out that an item is unavailable? Will not order from them again.

    Received this $200 lighted floor fountain as a gift. The fountain lights failed. Customer Service said it was past 30 day return period and there was no manufacturer warranty. Their offer to me was to sell me a duplicate as a replacement for a full retail price. No discount, credit or other consideration. For $200 I would expect a fountain to last much longer. I will no longer purchase from them and do not recommend. In looking at their reviews on this site there are a large percentage of negative reviews so apparently many other customers were dissatisfied.

    I ordered a triple decker bunk bed for my kids a couple weeks ago. They have been so excited and I got them all new mattresses. We have been waiting for its arrival. I noticed it still showed online that it hadn’t been processed yet, so I went to their online chat to ask if it had been shipped. Their response was that it was cancelled due to them being out of stock, and I would receive my refund in 2-4 days.

    It had been cancelled long before I asked about it. I had never received an email about the fact that it was cancelled. Trust me. I looked EVERYWHERE. They did say it would be in stock in another month and they could have a rep call me to order it again with 10% off. I wish I trusted them enough to try again. I feel like they’d charge me, then cancel it, and it would take me asking about it to get a refund. I should’ve read the recent reviews on them before ordering.

    I ordered an electric grill, and the Hayneedle website clearly stated that delivery would occur in mid May. I just received an email stating that I won't receive the grill until mid June. Because this delay is unacceptable, I contacted the company to cancel the order. I was told they may or may not be able to cancel, and they couldn't guarantee that the order would be cancelled, despite the long delay. This is clearly bait and switch marketing, and I hate it.     Updated on 05/07/2019: This is an in regards to my last review about the Patio Set I ordered and received and office chair in its place because someone screwed up on the pricing! So when I called Hayneedle after I returned the Office Chair (It was picked up from my house from FedEx on Saturday, so I waited until Wednesday). They told me they never received the item so I would not be getting my refund!!! I was fuming at this point because I had my tracking number and knew it was returned to them the day before I called (Tuesday)! I asked to speak with a Supervisor!

    They were playing some kind of game with me! I told them I had the tracking number, it was in fact returned and that I wanted my refund. No more nice guy and I wasn't playing their game any longer! I was finally told I would have my refund in 5 business days, after 45 minutes on the phone! I placed an order, received an item that wasn't at all what I ordered and was given the runaround for their misleading ad on the pricing! That they in fact should have honored! HORRIBLE!

    Original review: I ordered a 7 Piece Patio Set for a great price and one of my cousins ordered the same set the same day because it was a really great price! Well needless to say we both received OFFICE CHAIRS instead of the Patio Sets! When we called to let them know what we received we were both told they were SOLD OUT!     An order for 4 patio chairs was greatly delayed from the time frame that Hayneedle had promised. When the chairs finally arrived, one was damaged. Instead of an apology and a new chair being sent out, Hayneedle required the entire set be sent back despite only one chair having damage. Highly wasteful with all of the packaging use and disposal and highly inconvenient for the consumer to box chairs back up, wait for a pick up and then do the whole delivery baloney all over again. I will never order from Hayneedle again. There are better companies out there.

    If I could give less than one star I would for all of the frustration this has caused. I ordered my furniture from my online account. Never received any emails about it. Got a call in a couple of weeks it was being delivered. Received furniture and called Hayneedle asking where the points ($42+) they were supposed to give me for this order. Was told I had no orders. Finally after tracking down the order number based on one of the packing lists they claimed my email address was wrong which is why I didn't receive any notices. I explained that I ordered from my account and can't understand how my email could be wrong since all of their marketing material seems to get here but could the order information be transferred to my account. First operator said no but the points could transferred in 24 to 48 hours. After waiting 5 days, still no points. Sent an email, waited 3 days, no reply.

    Finally called again and asked yet another operator who said it would take 24 hours and all the information could be transferred. Waited 48, still nothing. Called them today to ask for my email to be removed from my account... They tell me they can't do that. Asked to speak to a supervisor, I wanted to let them know why I was cancelling my account. Sat on hold for a minute or two then the call magically ended without anyone picking up. All I wanted to tell them was If you are going to promise a premium for dealing with your company and don't deliver you are simply going to run yourself out of business. This feels like a major league bait and switch tactic and there are far too many other places to spend my money on the web that are honest in their dealings.

    Model 70024/70030 Avenue swivel bar stool. I purchased 4 bar stools from Hayneedle. One barstool had 2 defective P2 legs. The chairs' assembly was straightforward and I completed each chair in about 20-minutes. I used my own hex tool as the one supplied was cumbersome to use. After assembly I sat in each chair. 2 out of 4 chairs have a slight rocker motion, I am going to use felt pads under the chairs to correct this issue. One chair had tight tolerances on the leg assembly and while installing leg (2) they cracked. Hayneedle is sending out new legs at no charge. Overall really nice chairs with comfortable seats and easy swivels.

    We purchased a patio table from Hayneedle in March of 2018. I reached out to Hayneedle via email at the end of March 2019 to let them know that the Belham Bayley Hue Cement table was coming apart. The cement top is separating from the interior where the legs attach. I did not hear back from them so followed up with a phone call a few days later. The customer service rep was very kind but said the best they could do was issue a $200 credit to my account - for an $800 cement table that lasted less than a year. I won't be purchasing anything from Hayneedle that I hope will last more than a season.

    I purchased a dining set in Oct 2018. By the end of the month, one of the chairs broke when I sat on it. I weigh all of 155 lbs. Hayneedle replaced it since I was within the 30 day return window. Recently in April 2019, I had a 200lb-ish guest sit on one of these chairs, and again, it splintered. This time customer service wasn't helpful in the least even when I offered to pay for a replacement chair since I was out of the warranty period. When I asked for a written copy of the warranty so I could submit it to my credit card company (which offers an extended warranty on all purchases made with the card), they couldn't even be bothered to help with that. They've made the whole process very difficult and I will not use them again.

    TERRIBLE, MINDLESS workers in Accounting. I placed order online then received email next morning that order was canceled due to credit card verification discrepancy with my billing address. My bills go to a P.O Box 1 mile away from my residence - easy enough to verify. I found customer service to re order and had my bank on another phone on speaker where rep heard confirmation of my billing address and the pending Hayneedle charges that were approved. She forwarded information to her accounting department who took a full day to simply turn around and do the same thing again while double charging my credit card and tying up several thousand $$ during this fiasco.

    I am a first time customer and will never use or recommend this company! I'm happy to take my business elsewhere and upon finding out Walmart owns this business, it makes a lot of sense that there are poor processes in place where individuals don't have the common sense or ability to not follow a set script. Save yourself a lot of aggravation, there are plenty of quality, reliable providers available with more competitive pricing.

    I called customer service for wood finish peeling off my new patio table. Only had it a few months. Hayneedle does not honor a warranty after 30 days nor will they give refund or even a partial refund. I am now stuck with a crappy item that looks bad and I purchased a whole patio set & loungers & nesting tables which all match. They sell inferior cheaply made products to consumers & do not stand by the product afterwards! Don't buy anything from Hayneedle! You'll be sorry & regret it afterwards. I'm very dissatisfied. They lost my business permanently. I can spend my money in a store where they actually will stand by their products! I am retired & cannot easily replace this item. Disgusted in Las Vegas.     I purchased a Acme Bristol bunk bed May 2018 from Hayneedle. In the process of a move, we misplaced some screws. I contacted Bristol to see about obtaining more screws. They said their contract is with Hayneedle so they cannot send anything to me (I advised I was willing to purchase them). SO I contacted Hayneedle and they said because my warranty was up. They could not assist with parts. I advised I was willing to purchase. They said the request is outside of their 60 day warranty window so they are not able to request them. So now I have a pretty expensive piece of furniture that I cannot put back together because the company that makes it or the company that sells it cannot send me a few screws! I am very disappointed.

    Ordered three slipcovers, totaling $233... was charged $233 from my checking account, AND additional $149! When I called Hayneedle, I spoke with an English-challenged person, who I could not understand. I asked for a supervisor, and got someone who flat-out lied to me, stating that my bank charged me an additional $149, and to take it up with them. I have had this bank since 1998, and I know they would never take any unauthorized money out of my account, which I confirmed with them. I will eventually get my money back, but as a senior on a fixed income, to have this money tied up for probably almost a week, it is an inconvenience. Totally idiotic personnel working at Hayneedle, who couldn't give an honest answer if their lives depended on it. Unprofessional and shady. Never shop there!

    Ordered a couple of pieces from them recently. One was damaged significantly at which I realized about halfway through the assembly process. Tried reaching out via the online chat option and they just leave the conversation literally before you can even respond. So after trying that route and dealing with 4-5 different reps, I was told that I needed to call the company (Sauder) directly. Called them and they are closed until Monday. Called Hayneedle and the lady had a TV or something blasting in the background making it impossible to understand anything she said. Instead of turning her TV down, she says that she can’t understand me because I was mumbling. After answering a bunch of nonsense questions, she said the same... Call Sauder. If you’re ok with spending literally half a day or more messing with all the frustration and waiting no telling how long for the replacement parts... by all means order away. As a result, our chicken coop order was cancelled. This was a major inconvenience as we have chickens who are in close quarters, growing quickly, and needing additional space. We decided to try again 3-11-19 on Walmart.com and placed another order for the same coop as the price was $1,924.99 on Hayneedle's website for the EXACT coop! We immediately received a confirmation email for our order stating our coop would be arriving between 3-19-19 & 3-22-19.

    However, yet AGAIN we received a cancellation email from Walmart on 3-15-19. It let us know our order had been cancelled due to a "system error that kept them from processing orders". On 3-15-19, we called Hayneedle to find out why our orders had been cancelled. We spoke to Laura who was extremely helpful. We emailed her screenshots on Walmart's website of the chicken coop, price, and description. When she saw the huge difference in price between Walmart and Hayneedle, she had to confer with her "lead line" Melissa. We were told due to the huge discrepancy, there was nothing that could be done because Hayneedle has a disclaimer on their website for situations that happen like this.

    We then asked to speak to Melissa's supervisor, Morgan. She offered a 15% discount, but said that's all she could do. Keep in mind, we were expecting our coop to be the same price of $289 that we had ordered not once but TWICE from Walmart's website. Our new price according to Morgan would now be $1,636.24. We asked her to speak to the president of the company and were told, "He doesn't speak to customers." We then told her we needed to speak to her supervisor. She came back on the phone and said her supervisor (Brian) could offer us a 25% discount and Morgan offered to proceed with getting the order out at the $1,443.74. Hardly a discount when the chicken coop was listed for $289! This would have been a difference of a mortgage payment at $1,154.74!

    We then asked to speak directly to Brian who ultimately informed us after offering reward points to go along with the $1,154.74, "At this point, this is all we can do." Before this, we asked to speak to his supervisor or whoever wrote his checks. He denied us going to anyone else any further than him. We'll never order from Hayneedle again and advise everyone else not to either!!! False advertising and unethical business practices ("From a business standpoint, we just can't give it to you at that price"-Brian)... You mean the price we agreed to pay that it was listed for? BUYER BEWARE! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER RESOLVE!

    I ordered a Keter Tall Storage Cabinet from Hayneedle on March 1st. The website showed the order in stock and I received an email with the order number and an arrival delivery date of arrives by 03-13-2019. March 13th came and went and on March 14th, I contacted Hayneedle via their chat window. The agent checked and said the order had not even shipped from the supplier. I asked for the order to be cancelled and I was told a cancellation would be submitted to the supplier and I would have to wait for the supplier to "approve" the cancellation but it would take 72 hours to do this.

    Also, my payment would be held for up to 4 days. I feel lied to by Hayneedle and given the runaround on how they are handling my order. If they can't deliver an item, they collected the money so they should refund the money. The cancellation should be a no-brainer guarantee rather than we will ask for a cancellation and see what happens. I will NEVER shop this vendor again and I urge anyone else to look for items from a different seller.

    I ordered the Emerald Home Siesta California King Sleeper Sofa, as well as two chairs on February 22nd. I chose to go with Hayneedle as their website indicated that the sleeper sofa would arrive prior to my guest's arrival on March 20th. I received an email on February 28th that said I would be able to schedule my delivery on March 2nd. I attempted to do so online, and it did not appear that I could. I then waited 2 more days and was still unable to schedule delivery. I then used the chat support to attempt to schedule my delivery. They told me I had to contact the carrier and cut the conversation before I could say anything else. When speaking with the carrier they claimed that no one has asked them to pick up from the vendor.

    Irritated, I contacted Hayneedle via phone, was given a discount, and was assured it would be picked up soon. I continued to check my tracking information and nothing has changed. My couch is still sitting at the vendor and has been for nearly two weeks now. After several unhelpful email responses, I called again yesterday and asked for a manager, but was given a lead. The lead said they would email the vendor and get back to me. Today again nothing has changed. The Lead said that they would escalate to their corporate transportation team in effort to get the couch on a truck today. I asked for shipping to be upgraded and was told they couldn't and that it wouldn't make a difference. I am still waiting for a solution, however at this rate I will likely not see my couch until 2020. Even if they got the couch on the truck today, it is HIGHLY unlikely it will arrive within a week.

    Hayneedle has been unhelpful and incredibly frustrating to deal with. Take your money elsewhere, as you will not receive the service you deserve. The amount saved on this purchase is not worth the time I've put in attempting to get it shipped, nor is it worth the frustration of not receiving appropriate assistance the first time you reach out. I would not wish this experience on anyone. Take your business ANYWHERE but here.

    I ordered the Amelia dining set. I noticed the back of one of the chairs was broken after I had already put the rest of the set together. I chatted with 2 different support people and both informed me that I would either have to disassemble my set and return it for an exchange or order a new set out of pocket and swap the broken chair and return the set for a refund. I don't feel that I should have to spend another $500 or go a week without a table to have a chair replaced. I love the set and just want my 4th chair.

    Updated on 03/22/2019: Hayneedle directed me to get in touch with Walmart to get a refund for broken product. It has been a ping pong match between both companies and I am giving up. The matter has not been resolved. Neither company provided anything on writing and my bank wants written comments for the dispute. I even got an authorization code from Walmart to tell my bank; still did not help. After a month, for $68.15 I will not use these companies again; stay away...

I did not get the money back so I called back after a week. Now they tell me that this item was sold through Walmart and I need to get in touch with them. I talked to Walmart and they said that they can see in their database that I should have in my account $57.33 and I should call my bank and talk to the settlement department. The amount is not correct and at the moment it is not showing in my account any money back from this purchase. I will be glad if I get at least $57.33 instead of $68.15 and be done with this issue. I will not recommend to do business with this company.

    The way we do family Christmas is something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read. I wanted a place to put all of my things so that I could see them in one place. A jewelry armoire was my need. My mom did the ordering. When I received the armoire, the box was very hard to open so I kind of ripped it open. That was what they did. I just had to go back in and select the same product. I've had the armoire since Christmas and I really like it. If friends or family would ask me if I ever had any bad experiences with them, I would definitely say no and for them to go for it.

    I recently purchased an outdoor wicker storage box for storing patio chair cushions. I took the first piece out of the box and the wicker was broken already. The box was not damaged. About a year and a half ago I purchased a living room table, end table and TV stand, in which each one also had some sort of defect. I had to exchange the table 3 times. They only allow up to 3 exchanges, so I had to keep a table with a defect, as each exchange had an issue as well and then they did not allow me to exchange again.

    If it was not a matching set I would have returned it. I was skeptical to buy this storage box from them, but gave the benefit of doubt. When I saw this wicker storage box had a broken defective piece, I knew I would return and purchase from another company. This company needs to better monitor the quality of their suppliers if they ever want to sell anything.     I received an email stating my chaise lounge was shipped, and a FedEx number had been assigned. I kept checking the estimated arrival date and the date kept getting pushed out. FedEx details never updated and only stated they were waiting for the item. I contacted Hayneedle’s customer service and they told me the item has been lost (how does that happen?) and now they have no more of that item left. I’d have to wait several months for a new one to arrive in stock, at which point the sale will obviously no longer apply. Oh and I have to wait up to 4 days to get my money back. Don’t waste your time with this company. I order from lots of other sites like this and have never experienced this issue.

    Ordered a product. Never got delivered. Hayneedle or the shipper could not locate. They kept asking us to wait several DAYS so they could keep looking in different locations for the product before they would even consider sending out a new one. They said if I was not happy with the horrific customer service, then I could just cancel and order elsewhere. That's 3 weeks of waiting for a needed piece that I cannot get back.     The first Hayneedle product we purchased about a year and a half ago was a big mirror. The online ordering process was perfectly fine. Last week, I ordered another item and the experience has been fine as well. The quality of their products has been as expected or better. Hayneedle could do something to retain membership wherein after somebody bought something, Hayneedle could offer a discount voucher, or free shipping, or some little incentives for the next purchase.     I ordered a lingerie chest off Hayneedle for my bedroom. When it arrived, it was scratched, and the company who delivered it said, "It was packaged like that. It wasn't damaged in transit." I called Hayneedle on November 13, 2018. They said they would request a furniture marker to cover the scratches, that never happened. Three months later, I go to move the chest and the leg comes off. I got a friend to help me set it back up so it wouldn't fall. I called Hayneedle and the Parts Team said the supplier requested pictures. I sent pictures, but since I live alone and I am a woman who cannot turn over a 200 pound chest to show the leg is broken, I assume the pictures showed scratches.

    This was the response from the supplier that Alexander in the parts department sent me. "After review we cannot ship out a new item due to scratches on the base. The customer has had the item over 3 months and any damages should have been reported within the same week of receipt. Also, this is the 2nd parts request from this customer and the customer did not mention any scratches on the item from the first inquiry in November." The level of professionalism displayed in this email is disappointing. And what's even more disappointing is for Hayneedle to not stand up for their customers. Three months is too soon for a brand new piece of furniture to break.

    I asked Hayneedle to rectify this situation and within an hour got an email from Kylie who said, "I apologize. There is nothing that can be done." So I have a broken piece of furniture that has a limited warranty (that doesn't cover the repair). It has been difficult to consistently speak with someone at Hayneedle who possess the competence to adequately address my concerns. This is my first experience with Hayneedle and my last. This has been a very disheartening experience but it has taught me a lesson about ordering furniture online.

    Cancelled my order for having a ship to and bill to address different. Then double-billed me $70 more for a duplicate order (same chair, higher price, higher tax???). Could not straighten it out with 2 hours of phone calls. Received an email I have four orders!!! Customer service escalation doesn't come in on the weekend, so I can just wait it out. CSR said "Don't be cussin' and yellin' at me!"?!? Two supervisors can't straighten it out, asked me for my bank's fax number?!?! They're either criminal or incompetent or both, maybe just criminally incompetent. Should shut down immediately, fire entire staff and start over or close forever.     We ordered a Ashley dining room set and a bed. I purchased these using Affirm which is promoted on the website. Prior to receiving any merchandise I get an email from accounting saying I need to pay for my items. I called and the person said they couldn't get the money that they had already been given and that I needed to call Affirm, who when I called said Hayneedle already had the funds on hold. The same day, our bed arrived. The boxes were absolutely destroyed and the hardware was missing. I called customer service and a very nice person tried to resolve both the payment and bed issues. Unable to get the hardware, she went above and beyond and refunded us for the bed. She also went on conference call with Affirm and everything was supposed to be fine.

    Two weeks later we still haven't gotten the dining room set and I get another email from accounting demanding payment. I look at my Affirm account and all the money had been returned due to Hayneedle not taking the money they had on hold. So I wait another week and we are finally contacted about delivery (month after ordering). I have to go to Affirm and obtain a different virtual card and call accounting and pay for the dining set that I still didn't have. Now I get emails everyday from Hayneedle, like I would even consider buying there again. The only bright spot was the young lady who tried to help us.

    I am a member of Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards. I purchased a sofa that costs over $1000 during a special that SWA was running last November. This purchase should have netted me over 6000 points; 3000 bonus points from SWA and over 3000 points from Hayneedle at 3points per dollar spent. However Hayneedle has refused to count this purchase appropriately although I was very careful to purchase it through the Rapid Rewards website.     I ordered a Renwil brand mirror from Hayneedle, and it was delivered promptly by FedEx, but received severely broken/shattered. Hayneedle promptly issued a refund. I noted that the mirror was shipped directly from the manufacturer, Renwil, so I emailed them and told them I liked the mirror, but received it broken. They suggested I order again, and provide them with the order #, and they would try to take extra care in packing. So, I ordered again from Hayneedle, notified the manufacturer again as instructed, and again received a severely shattered mirror via FedEx - with no evidence of any difference in packaging. Again, Hayneedle promptly issued a refund. BUT, between Hayneedle and the manufacturer, I do not recommend buying a Renwil mirror, as it likely will arrive in damaged condition. Now, it's 3 weeks later, I still have no mirror, and am left with 2 large shattered mirrors to dispose of. Aaargh.

    We ordered a bed headboard at Hayneedle for a twin bed. That was right before Christmas and that was my first time purchasing from them. The purchase went well. Our order came but I didn't know it was gonna be in a zillion parts and the directions weren't very good. Also, the finish on the headboard was not good. The problem online is that you don't see the quality and all. It looks fine, but had it been for a younger kid, it would not have lasted at all. I would have liked to have known that it was going to be a very thin veneer on the plywood. It's not really wood, and that's what needs to be said on the site. I also realized that I didn't pay as much as I would have for a headboard at Willem Smith. But I would have a better time with getting the headboard because it wouldn't be all in pieces in a box.     I bought 2 bar stools from Hayneedle that were put out by Doncaster. The minute they were put together the bottom of one of the seats were broke. You can’t get parts for this. You are required to send back the whole stool. Which is vertically impossible as you have to tear the box apart to get everything out. Then it’s the hassle of the whole return wait to get your money back etc. It is of very poor quality. I even tried calling the company that makes the bar stool and they won’t even send me that part. VERY Poor service, quality and customer care.

    I purchased a tv stand for my husband for Christmas. I was thrilled with how quickly it arrived. The day after Christmas we put it together and discovered that a piece was missing. I called and not only could they not send me the piece that was missing, but I had to either send it back or they would give me a 20% discount. Clearly I would not send it back as it would cost me as much in shipping as the tv stand cost! I was only given $29. So, in a nutshell this is where I stand.     I am very happy with my purchase of the greenhouse. I ordered it shortly before Christmas and received it by mail very quickly. It is very well made and came in perfect shape with no damage. It was a gift for my 23 yr old daughter who loves gardening and she was extremely happy with it. She grows a vegetable garden every year. Sometimes she has trouble with starting some of the smaller seedlings such as carrots and beets without them being killed by the elements, starting those seedlings in this greenhouse will provide them optimal protection from the strong exterior, lighting from the clear walled design, and ventilation from the opening skylight, until they grow strong enough to be moved outdoors.     I searched and searched for a white cake stand with a domed lid for a very picky sister for Christmas. I thought I found one at Hayneedle so I place the order and it says it will be here on the 21st so I get excited that I found it and will be here in time. On the 22nd I get an email that the order was canceled so that’s just fabulous. I realize the item was out of stock but if it was always out of stock I should have never been able to order it.     We ordered 3 gaming chairs on 12/8 for our children for Christmas. We received an email on 12/10 saying “great news, your order has shipped & will arrive on 12/14”. I called on 12/18 because the order hadn’t yet arrived. I was told not to worry, “we’ll take care of it & you’ll still have them by Christmas”. I called 4 more times since then and was told a different story every time. It wasn’t until 12/23 that the company finally admitted that our items wouldn’t make it in time, but they would give us a 50% to make up for getting them after Christmas. The next day we got an email saying we’d get a refund. I called and they told me the items were never even shipped. Also, if we wanted to reorder we’d only be able to get a 15% discount.     Ordered a little play makeup vanity for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas with guaranteed delivery by 12/20. Got an email 12/21 telling me it’s backordered until February. They knew by 12/17 when it should have shipped out that it wasn’t coming. By waiting till 12/21 to email me it’s too close to Christmas and I can’t even pay rush shipping anywhere to get another vanity here by Christmas. Their “sorry” was an offer to give me 10% off my next order, like I’d ever buy anything from these scumbags again. The excuse they gave me was their supplier ran out - i.e they sold me a product and guaranteed delivery on something they didn’t even have in their possession. They just broker the deal as a middleman and collect their money. What a joke - do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Wayfair and/or Amazon has everything Hayneedle has and more and actually attempts to provide customer service.

    I placed an order on the Dec 13. I did so because delivery would be in time for Christmas! This was a red and black gaming chair for my son. Dec 15 they sent me a notice delay in shipment but still promising by Dec 24. Dec 16 I get an email that says order processed and arriving Dec 19. Yes it did BUT was totally NOT what I ordered. I received a grandpa looking black cheap desk chair! Not even close to what I ordered! Not close in serial number, item number or description. When I called they said they were sorry and they would give me a return label free of charge. OK really? Like I should pay for your mistake? You aren’t doing me a favor.

    Now it’s 4 days until Christmas and no chance of getting a gaming chair!?? Now I have to take this huge box to a FedEx place. I have to wait for you to refund my money which could take up to 10 days. Worst buying experience ever. Stick with Amazon or an actual retailer not a third party!! By the way. The cheap chair they sent was 30.00 cheaper but still billed me. They blamed it on shipping but they substituted hoping I would just keep it. Bad ethics. Bad company!

    So I ordered my sleeper sofa on December 7, 2018. The ETA date continued to get pushed back 3 times. The website claimed it was on backorder. I called Hayneedle and was originally told they "lost" my order but the shipping label had been printed out. They were going to call Ashley Furniture and call me back. I never received a call back. I emailed them to find out what was going on and was told that my order had been "lost" but they planned on filling it. I called again a day later and was told that in order to "fulfill" my order, they had to cancel my original order and reorder the sofa but they would give me 20% discount for all the issues I was experiencing.

    A day later I get an email from a 4th CSR telling me that my item is now OOS and they can't fulfill my order. I find this whole experience completely unprofessional and ridiculous. What's worse is I have a friend who works at Ashley Furniture who told me there are 15 of the sofas I want in stock so why the supplier is unable to ship me 1 is beyond my comprehension... Horrible website, horrible customer service, will never, ever order from Hayneedle again. At the very least, they could've had a supervisor call me to explain and offer up a solution.

    I have made several purchases on Hayneedle and encouraged others to check for what they were looking for on Hayneedle as well. However, I will find my home items elsewhere. The quality of the majority of their items are hit or miss but often fine for a first home or until you can save up money for better quality items later. Recently, we purchased a mirror with hooks to place by our doorway for umbrellas, etc. The item arrived and when opened it did not have the hardware to actually hang the item, though the instructions were very specific to use only the hardware that comes with the item. I sent an inquiry through their website, including my order number and never received a response after several weeks.

    I finally reached out again and called and was told they would look into the issue. I then received an email that the item was past the 30-day warranty and that there was nothing they could do to help. This is after they themselves failed to respond to the initial inquiry. This is terrible customer service. While the individual employees are polite enough, don't expect to get any real help if there are issues with your order. Better to save your money and get a higher quality product or look at the many similar websites.

    I purchased a snowblower that was guaranteed by November 30th. Time was of the essence as several storms were approaching. While I was waiting for the snowblower to arrive, I had to pay hundreds of dollars for plowing (I have a very long driveway) and miss time from work. The snowblower finally arrived over a week after it was supposed to.

    I tracked the package every day that week to see it being moved on a tour all over New England. The delivery driver must have been within five minutes of my home several times, and then moved out of my state once again. I sent Hayneedle a customer service complaint, expressing concern that the package was not being handled properly. I have not yet received a reply.

    Lo and behold, once the driver delivered the package to my house over a week late, the solo driver had trouble getting the 140 pound snowblower out of the vehicle. He then almost dropped it several times and thudded it down at the bottom of my stairs. The box is torn on all sides, just as I expected when I saw how many trucks it was being loaded on and off of.

    I sent Hayneedle another customer service complaint, and I have not yet received a reply to that or the initial one. My issues have been completely ignored by the company, and I am unsure if the product will even work due to being thrown around for weeks. For a company that sells big ticket items, they should really do more to make sure that the product arrives on time and intact to their paying customers. All that seems to matter to them is that they receive the payment. To me, this reads "scam." From reading other reviews, I can see that I am not the only one who faced this issue. I will not be wasting my money with Hayneedle again. I am about as dissatisfied as I could possibly be with this company.

    I decided to give this company another chance after they made things right with my other review that I had left them. WRONG! I placed my order on 12/4/18. It said anticipated delivery of 12/11/18. On 12/6/18 I received an email from Hayneedle saying my order was on its way and it will arrive by 12/11/18. But yet when you click on the link that Hayneedle provided to the FEDEX tracking system, the only thing that is happened is that the shipping label has been created! I filed a claim with PayPal on 12/13 because as of today 12/14/18 I have yet to receive my order and they cannot tell me a status. They are now stalling with PayPal. Stay away from this company!     Hayneedle has good selections and there are plenty of products to choose from. Recently, I purchased a computer desk from them. I was very limited with space, and that was the only desk that I found that would fit, and it worked out perfectly. It serves the purpose.     I ordered a bar stool from Hayneedle a month ago. Purchasing online went okay until I had problems with one of the products. When the product is damaged, they print out a return label and send another one, but they wanna charge your card for it until they get the damaged one back. They then credit your account. I think they should just send another one and my card should never be charged for the second time. Until they change their return policy, I don’t know if I can recommend them.

    The trees looked great. Unfortunately the little support legs were shorter than wiring so it was difficult to get them to stand upright. The lights were gorgeous. However, unless you held your finger on the control--you couldn't get them to stay on. We're hoping to figure out a workaround. Quality control and better design is needed on this product.

    We were looking for outdoor planters and we were looking on the web to see what looks good. It was more on the design. I got two different ones from Hayneedle and one was good but one was bad in the sense that one was exactly like what it looked in the picture and the other was very different. I’m also finding out better deals now. At that time, I didn't know better so I looked on the web. But now, I know I can go into some of the brick and mortar stores to get some better deals for that.

    In terms of the purchasing experience online, if Amazon is number 10, Hayneedle would be about number 7. The website was not clear on the delivery dates and I didn't know what other choices were there. They don’t recommend much in terms of what things are similar or what different brands are there. It just shows what things others bought. So that is not useful. More pictures would definitely help too. For some products, they don’t have many pictures at all. But although the online site is not the best, it is still better than the norm.

    We liked the way the Cascading Rock Waterfall Fountain was built. The appearance was pretty nice and it had LED lights. Also, the reviews about the sound of the waterfall were very good.     I ordered the Parisot Higher High Sleeper in September. It came pretty quickly but, it was broken in several places. The truck driver said that I had to take all or nothing. I refused it and called Hayneedle. They could not exchange the bed. They made me purchase a second bed at an additional $1,900 and then days later refunded me for the broken one when they received it back from the trucking company. The operator said, "Make sure that your credit card has the room to be able to charge another $1,900!"

    About 1 1/2-2 weeks later I received the new bed. The family set aside a whole day to put the bed together for my daughter. When we opened the boxes it was the wrong bed. It was bunk beds and not the high sleeper with the desk below. I called them and they were going to once again make me carry the cost of two beds on my credit card. But, on further investigation they realized the bed I ordered was on back order with no expected date. I told them to just come get the bed and give me a refund. They said that they had put that into motion and I would get an email soon stating all of those actions. No email came.

    I called back a week later asked to speak to Heather once again. She didn’t really remember the situation but, read the notes and once again said that she was sending the trucking company to pick it up and initiating a refund. Several days later no email, no truck, no refund. I called back and spoke to a manager. I felt that I was going to have to start legal action at this point to get my $1,900 back. She once again said that she would send a trucking company etc. The trucking called me made an appointment to pick up the bed and then days later cancelled. I had to called the manager again. She called the trucking company or another one and finally about a week later they picked up the bed. About a week to 10 days later I finally received a refund! So over 2 months wasted and all the while my daughter was sleeping with her mattress on the floor.

    Hayneedle had the cheapest price among other retailers. We also had no problems ordering our Sauder Carson Forge desk from them and it definitely came within the expected timeframe. We’re familiar with the product line, and it actually has exceeded our expectations. We’ve had the desk for a month and overall, we've had a good experience with Hayneedle.
