On Jan. 27th, I ordered flowers for my friend's father's funeral via the online store "From You Flowers". The flowers were to be delivered to the funeral home on Jan. 29th. On Feb. 2nd I was with this friend of mine and asked him if he had seen the flowers and card that I had sent? He said there were no flowers from me. When I came home I called the phone number listed on the website and asked them to explain why there were no flowers delivered. They stated that even though my order had been successfully charged to my credit card -- the delivery itself was "overlooked". They said my money would be refunded. But, it made me realize that this .com business of "delivering" flowers to funerals is a SCAM!!! If I hadn't asked my friend about whether or not he received my flowers for his dad's funeral - I would have never realized that I had paid for NOTHING.
From You Flowers was NEVER going to call me or refund my money - KNOWING that flowers were never delivered. ONLY by MY calling THEM to complain about paying for NOTHING prompted ANY action on their part. How many other victims have they taken advantage of that never went to the trouble of asking their family or friends if indeed they received the flowers that were ordered on their behalf? I believe this is a scam that is mainly perpetrated concerning flowers to funerals - where the customer ordering the flowers has a high likelihood of not being at the funeral home (distance or out of state orders) to actually see the flowers. Thereby the only way to acknowledge the receipt of the delivery is by asking the bereaved if they had noticed "your" flowers - and honestly, that is not exactly the pinnacle of tact.

Update on my complaint: after seeing that the Better Business Bureau had a comment from the company that they would like to be contacted about any issues and gave a specific person's email to contact, I followed that advice. Within a half hour (or less), I received a call from fromyouflowers.com customer service informing me that a full refund had been issued to my credit card. I told them I would have been happy with a partial refund as there were some flowers delivered, just not size or selection I ordered, but they kept with the full refund. I see it is credited to my card now. So problem resolved. Impressed with the way they handled the complaint - seemed like going to the person named on the BBB site and mentioning the BBB was what got action.

Wish I had thought to check on independent reviews before ordering from Fromyouflowers.com. My experience is same as most of those posted here in terms of not getting what I ordered. I had ordered the deluxe (medium size) Blooming Lily Memories for a dear friend's father's funeral. It was supposed to contain white lilies, green hypericum berries and purple asters.
When we were at the funeral home, I could see anything that looked like the picture and had to ask my friend if the flowers had arrived. When she pointed them out, I was so embarrassed! The arrangement was very small - no way was it it the deluxe size I paid for. To give you an idea, the card with our name on it covered about 1/2 the flowers. The vase was perched above a much larger arrangement and if you didn't know to look for it, just looked like the top of the other one. And the flowers weren't at all what was described. There was 1 lily, but the other flowers were pink and lime green daisy-like flowers. As I said, very embarrassing. Will never use this company again and advise others to avoid at all costs. I thought about taking a photo to show the difference, but thought that would be tacky to do a funeral.

I ordered flowers yesterday to be delivered today. After I ordered I looked up reviews, bad mistake. After reading so many - I knew I screwed up. Sure enough, my daughter didn't get her flowers today and from what I gather she will either never get them or get a sorry bunch in about a week. I emailed them to ask the status earlier. They responded they could not find a florist in my area, ok I'm in Denver - apparently no company wants to be associated with them. KEEP THIS IN MIND. They offered to upgrade - saw that in all of the complaints as well. They also offered to call my daughter to apologize - which I will call their bluff on that one, just to see. If she ever gets them I will let you all know and post a pic if I can as well.

My flowers for a special B'Day to a friend was not delivered 3 days post delivery date. I called and was told they would be that day (3 days after B'Day) by 2 p.m. Still didn't happen the following day (day 4). I was then told (after I called) that they will indeed be delivered today. This company has NO notification status of delays. I have lost faith as 2 different reps in customer care promised delivery and still hasn't happened. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. Yes, the delay was due to weather at first, but I was never informed of status. The follow-up on my part led to a false promise of delivery - did not happen. Now there's another promise - yet to be fulfilled - all because I initiated the follow-ups. FTD is highly reliable.

I went to this website to order an arrangements of green plants. I came across a very beautiful arrangement. I called, placed the order to go to my sister in Iowa. It was delivered the same day but not what l paid for. What she got was nowhere near what l picked out for her. I paid for a decorative pot full of green plants. My sister received a cheap wicker basket with a small amount of green plants in it. I call the company the next day. l was told they would investigate in which they did. Their story was, in and out of season of green plants. I will stick to, you get what you pay for. I went cheap and got cheap because l didn't want to pay the FDS price and still ended up with a big hassle.

I spent $60 on what was supposed to have been a beautiful blue-toned arrangement for a close friend's birthday. When she shared the flowers on Facebook I was not only disappointed but embarrassed that the arrangement she actually received looked cheap and absolutely NOTHING like what I had ordered and paid for. When I called the company the phone rep told me that she would re-deliver but would need to take back the first arrangement. Not ideal as my friend works long hours and I didn't want her to worry about being around for the delivery person.
The other option was to credit me back a small percentage. Instead I received a credit to order from these idiots again. Forget it. Please: SAVE YOUR MONEY. This place is a waste with dishonorable customer service and poor quality arrangement. Total scam. They draw you in with low prices, hit you with a large handling/delivery fee and then screw you (and your recipient) with embarrassing-looking flowers. I do not recommend them at all.

I ordered flowers to be delivered for the first time. I ordered the arrangement listed as a "Best Seller." When I arrived home I was very disappointed to see what had arrived. In the advertised picture I can count 8 roses from just that one angle; the one I received had 6 roses total and lacked all the color and other flowers of the pictured example. What I received looked nothing like what I ordered. I paid $58.83 for a tired looking arrangement I could have bought at the grocery store for $10. I will never order from them again. I have emailed their customer service and I'm hoping they will refund my purchase.

I wish I would have searched the reviews before because there seems to be a pattern with deliveries showing up looking NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE OR DESCRIPTION OF WHAT PEOPLE ORDER. I sent my wife just because flowers (first time sending flowers to her at work) and they showed up completely different than the all pink arrangement I picked out and spent $60 on after choosing delivery next day. They were not in the pink vase, it showed most of the flowers were purple and reds and there were only about 2 roses that were actually pink. The lady said for me to send a picture to verify, so I did and asked them to refund me my money. But all this place did was try to negotiate a deal so they don't have to refund me the full amount.
So after calling 3 more times, not only did the customer service person keep putting me on hold when I was speaking, she was yelling, being rude and disrespectful on the phone and telling me that she wasn't trying to be rude, but it was basically not an option to refund money even though their website says: "From You Flowers, LLC offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason, feel free to contact us. We will either refund your money or re-deliver a new product." Great customer service. After she spoke to her manager, she couldn't even find the fine print herself and was still trying to negotiate. Her supervisor said ok. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday, paying the same-day delivery fee which seemed reasonable at $2.99. The price of the actual flowers also seemed reasonable. But when I finally got to the checkout screen, there was a $14.99 "service fee" added to the charge. Any honest, reputable company would make this fee known up front, not just before you're about to submit your order. I wish that was my only complaint.
So I sent the order in anyway because I really liked the arrangement. Later that evening, I called my mom to see how her flowers looked. Unfortunately, they forgot to tell me that the flowers were of the *invisible* variety. They hadn't been delivered (it was 9:00 pm when I called). I called fromyouflowers, waiting on hold for about 15 minutes. (To their credit, they do have 24x7 customer service and all of the agents I spoke with were very professional, courteous, and helpful.) The agent told me the flowers would be delivered promptly the next day.
They weren't. And there was no note or voice message. I called customer service back at the end of the business day, and was told they'd give me a refund (I think it was 20%) and a $12.19 credit toward my next purchase, and I was also told the flowers would be delivered the following day. They weren't. I called customer service back again this morning, asking for a full refund. I was told by the very friendly agent that I would be issued a full refund within 1-3 business days. I still haven't seen the initial 20% refund on my card, and I am waiting to see if the full refund will ever show up, or if, like the flowers, it will be of the invisible variety. Do yourself a favor and use a different company, unless you're into invisible flowers.

I would like to comment that I was completely disappointed with my whole experience with Fromyouflowers.com. The flowers were sympathy flowers for a very dear friend who passed away, 82 years old, and sending to the memorial service which was being held today at 1pm. I felt secure knowing that they would be there well ahead of time of the service.
First, I ordered the flowers yesterday (12/30/15) and paid for expedited delivery (meaning it would be delivered by 12pm on 12/31/15). I called the 800 number at 12:30pm as they had not been delivered and after confirming with the local florist, I was informed they would be delivered "within the hour" as they were on the truck. That did not sit well with me at all. Unfortunately, the flowers were not even delivered until 2pm - after the memorial service. This is completely unacceptable for a local business.
Second, I have the photo online (A Day at the Beach) of what I was expecting and I chose the deluxe arrangement. Once again, disappointment on the arrangement as my sister works at the upscale Senior Living Community and she sent me a photo of the arrangement. Completely not like the picture nor the size of the arrangement per your description.
Then, I contacted their customer service department and talked to them this morning (they did contact me and left a message). They gave me a credit of $20.00 back on my credit card including the expedited fee. They did offer to redeliver, however, I'm not going to use them again which I told them so why would I have a redelivery? Definitely will never recommend them and they need to research their local florists. Will also not use the local florist ever again either.

Until you get to completion of the order with no way to see the total until you have entered all your payment information my total cast was over $67 dollars but ok I bought it. I ordered an arrangement for my mother's birthday to be delivered in the morning, which I payed extra for. Needless to say it was not delivered by late afternoon. I called and they informed me that there was a mishap at the florist. I asked to change the delivery address to my mother's home instead of work. The contracted florist did not deliver to that zip code. I cancelled the order and was refunded my money along with a $20 credit. Giving them a second chance, I placed a new order. A beautiful Christmas centerpiece with red, green flowers and candles. I received a dozen red roses! Not even notification that my order wouldn't be filled as requested.

I placed a special Christmas Tree flower order for family 4 days in advance to have delivered on 12/23/15. I had read the site reviews which were excellent on the product and figured I would avoid any chance of non-delivery by delivering a day early. I just received a call at 6:30pm on the night of delivery that they cannot deliver and would be happy to reschedule for Saturday. When I said that was unacceptable, they were going to give me a 50% discount and then when I said I would write a negative review, they called back and were offering a complimentary delivery on Saturday after Christmas with backup date of Monday. Blame was placed on florist as first overbooked, then didn't have the right product to create the centerpiece, to then being out of the delivery zone. Went up to "manager" and she gave the same offerings. Will never do business with this vendor again.

After several emails about a 12.39 credit that I earned from a previous order, I tried to use it online. Found that there was no place to enter the code so I called. They told me it had to be done over the phone but were unable to determine where to enter it. While waiting, I received another email from them offering free delivery if I came back to complete my offer. The email included a picture of the item I was trying to order and a copy of what was in my cart. I asked the person on the phone if I could use this. She said that we can only use 1 discount so we tried to use the free delivery. Then, she told me that neither the credit nor the free delivery would work because this was a UPS item. Then she told me it is because it is a FedEx item. Of course, the emails didn't mention any such restriction.
In the end, they told me that no discounts or credits applied to this item (a basket of teas) despite the fact that the second email was specific to my order. Very frustrated and feel that they wasted my time by sending me credits that they had no intention of honoring. I asked which items could be used with the credit and she didn't know!

I order flowers 2 days for a loved one's funeral. The company called me the day of the scheduled delivery and said they couldn't find the obituary so couldn't deliver the flowers to church address I provided in the order. I informed them to deliver the flowers to the address regardless of whether or not they can find an obituary and they had one more day to do so. The company called the day of the funeral and said they couldn't find the church and no one answered the phone. I conference in my family member who was at the church then customer service gave another reason for why the flowers couldn't be delivered which was "now the florist doesn't have the flowers to make the standing spray I paid for".
This company sucks and so does its customer service. Because I was told an hour before the funeral, I wasn't able to order from another company so my flowers were never sent to the funeral home. Next day it was getting later so I called and they said the Florist had just left out to deliver them. One and a half hours later the flowers come.
I should be grateful that my experience was better than many here as the flowers that were supposed to be an upgrade from my middle priced pick were acceptable but not beautiful like shown on website. The flowers were not shaped beautifully but kinda stuck in haphazardly. So on a very stressful day I had to call about my missing flowers... had a disappointed Daughter-in-law. A disappointed me. I wish I had found this site before I ordered my flowers. A few months ago I ordered flowers for the funeral of a close cousin. I was so embarrassed and horrified when I saw the arrangement at the funeral home. It was about 9" high including vase! I ordered the deluxe Clear Blue Skies, but the arrangement looked like the regular size since it only had three lilies and the front lily was wilted so it did not look fresh at all. Flowers were sparse with some greenery for filler. It certainly did not look professional. I thought it was the worst arrangement I ever saw until my next order. Next order??? Yes, since the company gave me only a partial refund plus a $20 gift certificate I thought maybe they used a bad vendor and decided to give it another try.
I ordered the Gerber Daisy Celebration arrangement for a friend in the hospital. It looked like it would really cheer her up. She thanked me for the surprise and sent me a picture of the bouquet. To my dismay and disappointment, it did not look at all like the picture on the FromYouFlowers website. It looked like I could have gone to the drugstore, bought some cheap flowers and shoved them in a vase. There were suppose to be 3 roses (I got 2) and 3 lilies (I got 2), and the daisies certainly did not look like Gerber daisies. Even the filler flowers were sparse. The colors in the website photo were vibrant while the colors of the actual flowers were rather dull. Another call to customer service and this time I demanded a full refund. I ordered flowers for my sister in law on Monday, November 23, 2015 to be delivered on 11/25/15. I didn't receive any calls from her stating she received it, but I figured she must have been busy with Thanksgiving and forgot. Didn't hear from her at all so I got a little concerned. I checked my order status and it said they are unable to confirm the status because the florist hasn't updated the status. So I send an email and get a reply stating they'll get back to me when the florist is open for business. I didn't get any emails so I emailed again. They told me that the florist was unable to fulfill the order on 11/25/15 and would like to fulfill on 11/30/15 and give me a 15% off for my next purchase. I said OK. Once again I said OK.
Then I get a call on 12/01/15 (which I missed and they left a voicemail) stating the florist canceled on them and they can't find another florist in the area to fulfill this order. Really upset at this point, I call and talk to someone in Customer Service and he said he was really sorry and would like to deliver the flowers using a different florist. I told him that at this point, "You should deliver my flowers for free." This company does not even deserve 1 star. My best friend, who now lives out of state, gave birth to her first baby recently. As we are both only children and have been best friends for over a decade we are basically sisters. So, as I'm sure you can imagine, it killed me that I couldn't be there when she gave birth to the closest thing to a nephew I'll ever have. Judging the reviews on their website, it looked ok. Plus, I was in a rush as I literally only had 1 hour between school and work to order the flowers. I picked the perfect bouquet of gerbera daisies, her favorite... in an adorable mason jar wrapped with burlap, also favorites of hers. Plus, a baby by balloon and a box of chocolates. I went all out. Of course, none of this was ever delivered.
I ordered same day delivery. The next day, I got a call stating that my flowers hadn't been delivered. Apparently they had tried to call me to ask if it was ok for them to deliver the flowers. Well, OBVIOUSLY! I ordered them to be delivered!!! So then, they wanted to know if I wanted them delivered that day. Well no, she was released from the hospital! They wanted to know if they could send them to her house. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of brightening up the hospital stay, doesn't it? I was so upset. I mean, not only could I not be there for her, but the gesture I had intended for her was completely stolen from me.
I could have gone with another company, but no, I was screwed over by this one. They offered to refund my money, but I never got it back. And now I keep seeing repetitive e-mails about $12 off this or that. Why on EARTH would I EVER want to order ANYTHING from this company ever again? I mean seriously. And please, by the time I took $12 off, it would still be outrageous.
This was my first time ever ordering flowers. I always make my own and deliver it personally. But in this one instance, I was unable to do it so I had to put my faith in someone else. Well, that was the last time. I'll never order flowers ever again, not even from a reputable company. It just isn't worth it. Words cannot even express the fury I feel toward FROMYOUFLOWERS. The name should say it all... If you want flowers delivered, you better do it yourself because this company is incapable of delivering them for you.

DO NOT USE!!! Not happy. I should have looked them up online before we ordered through them. They have an average of 1 star ratings everywhere. Here's what my experience was: Helped my 80+ year old dad order flowers for his fiance. Since it was late in the day when we ordered, we opted for 2-day delivery (Tues). They never arrived. We called and the first person we spoke with was a woman. She sounded like she might older. SHE was wonderful. Acted as if she cared, said she'd follow up with us. After we hung up, we realized we'd gotten the wrong zip code and called to alert them. That was about 4:30pm in Texas. The flowers were going to CA. This company is in CT.
The 2nd service person I spoke with a man. I explained the situation to him. He kept saying, "It's only about 30 minutes before we close so if we can't get them there to tomorrow, we'll get them there the next day. Is that OK?" It sounded to me as though he was asking me if I'd still be a satisfied customer if they just blow it off and made no extra effort to make it happen. I said, "no". He said "no". Notice that he DIDNT say "Oh, well, then do you want us to cancel the order if they can't be there tomorrow?" That's a different question. I even said, "What are you asking me? Do you mean you cancel the order if they can't be delivered tomorrow if I'm not "OK""? He repeated his first question, "If we can't get them there to tomorrow, we'll get them there the next day. Is that OK?" I hung up assuming the flowers would be delivered as soon as possible.
Now it's Thursday. No flowers delivered. I called again. The 3rd service person I got was the worst. She said "We called 3 times, no answer, so we cancelled the order and refunded your money." They'd called the home number -- my dad is not home. They didn't call his cell, or mine -- I don't think their form even had those options -- and they didn't call the RECIPIENT'S number to get directions when they said it "could not be delivered." This person kept talking over me, repeating the same thing over and over. I finally said "we're done" and hung up. Really irritating, and I'm not the type to get fussy like that!

However they were much less in cost and packed very cheaply. I specifically ordered the ones in the mason jar because they were different and charming.
When I emailed the company to let them know of my disappointment, they said that the florist is allowed to substitute based on season and availability. SUBSTITUTE THE JAR THAT BASICALLY MAKES THIS ARRANGEMENT WHAT IT IS? Ridiculous. She offered me a $10 gift certificate to be used in 7 days. Oh okay because that makes it better and that I'll trust them again? NO.

I'll admit that you get what you pay for but this was ridiculous. I ordered sunflowers for a funeral. A young woman had lost her father and I wanted something cheerful for her, specifically, sunflowers. I spoke with a woman on the phone after looking online. The arrangement I wanted I was advised against because she said the flowers were freeze dried and had to be reconstituted. I went with her suggestion of another sunflower arrangement that was supposed to be fresh when delivered.
I paid $43 for a 9" vase of dried up sunflowers and some prominently displayed cheap yellow daisy like flowers with some very odd greenery. It was NOTHING like the picture. In fact, it was downright embarrassing. I could have gone to Kroger and made a much prettier arrangement myself for less than half the price. I have not contacted the company and probably won't. Before I begin, I would like to start by saying that I want this complaint forwarded to every single supervisor, manager, team lead, customer service manager, and anyone else who may be in some sort of position of management at your company. Yesterday, November 5th I learned that my close friend's father had died. She and her husband are stationed in Washington state, so I wanted to send her flowers in time before she left to New Hampshire, where her father lived. I made my order and was on my way.
I learned that night that the flowers I ordered were never delivered. The flowers that I had paid for expedited shipping for AND same day delivery. This is where I should have realized what a ridiculous, poorly run company you have. I called immediately and was helped by a very pleasant girl named Amber who said she would refund the same day delivery and expedited shipping fees, and that my order would arrive early the next day. No harm, no foul, correct? Wrong.
Today, about 10 minutes ago I received a call from your company, again I received the call FROM YOU. A woman named Sheri called wanting to speak regarding the order. She wanted to speak to my fiance, whose card was used to purchase the flowers. I said that he was working, and I was the one who made the order, and I could verify the card number, billing, and shipping addresses for her.
She said no and began to get an attitude with me because I had the audacity to want to speak about an order I MADE. And she said she would need to speak to my fiance, who works 12 hours every single day with one day off a week and who doesn't even have time to call ME while at work because he's busy making money so we can both live comfortably AND fund a wedding in one of the most expensive places to live all on our own. Sheri seems to have forgotten that SHE called ME, and I provided EVERY SINGLE bit of information she asked!
So, fine, I call my fiance, completely upset (and I'm assuming that my friend STILL hasn't gotten the sympathy flowers), and he now has to take time out of his VERY busy day to call your ridiculous company, find out that the flowers haven't been delivered, and then take time to cancel the order. He was told that a full refund would be back in his account in 3 business days, and that I would receive a $20 gift card in my email from your company.
I have two things to say about your company's resolution: 1. If there is not a full refund back in our account within 3 business days, we will be issuing a charge-back on the card. 2. Please take that $20 gift card and shove it so far up your own ** that you can taste it.

If I could give this business zero stars, I would, but that's not an option. If you want to be out money, and not have your delivery arrive when you pay for it to arrive, then by all means, hire this unprofessional clown show that calls itself "For You Flowers." I ordered a bouquet arrangement for a friend of mine who had just gone through a rough breakup. I ordered at 8:00 AM and chose the option for expedited shipping (within 4 hours). Well, 6:00 PM rolls around and no flowers. Next day, still no flowers. Sat on hold for 45 minutes, no answer. Outrageous. Transaction was still pending in my account, but the bank couldn't put a stop payment on it at that point. Do not EVER order from this rip off joke of a business. I have never been so disgusted.

I ordered a flower spray on behalf of my mother for her sister's funeral in Florida through From You Flowers five days before the funeral. I confirmed the address of the church and my aunt's name with the customer service person as well as the time of the funeral. She assured me that florists would typically deliver funeral flowers first and would deliver them an hour before the funeral. My sister, who attended the funeral, didn't see the flowers and asked the staff if they had been delivered. The staff said none had arrived for my aunt's funeral, and they didn't show up during the service.
I called From You Flowers to express my disappointment. The customer service person said the florist had gone to the church but they were setting up for someone else's funeral. I have no idea how this confusion occurred, but the florist or From You Flowers should have at least contacted me to clarify what was going on. This is very shoddy service, and I am sad for my elderly Mother that she couldn't have flowers at her sister's funeral. The customer service person said she would refund the payment and give me a $15 gift certificate. However, I can't see using From You Flowers again after this kind of service.

So I have been dealing with this girl that I am extremely interested in. I woke up this morning with the only thought on my mind is making her smile today. Thanks to this horrible company that will not happen. I ordered a dozen long stem roses, as well as their overly price bear for 25$ and a set of 6 balloons. The balloons were another 30$ themselves. I stressed to this company that the recipient would be leaving their job at 3pm which they informed me multiple times that they could deliver the flowers by then. Same day delivery! Well as the time was getting closer to 3 with no flowers in sight I called the company to which they had me on hold for 30min just to speak to someone with very little knowledge. They then contacted the florist who stated they could not get in touch with the driver. I reiterated to them that they had to be there by 3. I called back closer to 3 and the flowers had still not been delivered and the florist had still not talked to the driver.
At this point I needed to speak to management which I was on hold for another 30 min just to speak with one. She was very confused. Had absolutely no information about where the flowers could be. Oh and at this point the recipient had left. They offered to give me 50% off which I stated was extremely DUMB and ridiculous for flowers that aren't even going to make it to the intended person. The flowers came at 430 to her job which she was gone from thus making her go all the way back to work just to receive them as well as Of course ruining the element of surprise. IN THE END I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

So my girlfriend's birthday is here so I decide to send her favorite plant. I go online to find her favorite, an Azalea. I'm shopping around and From You Flowers had a different discount code every time I go to their site. After 10 times it gives me a free delivery code so I take the bait! I order the azalea, they send me confirmation with a picture of the Azalea in a beautiful grey glazed looking ceramic flower pot, that is being delivered. It looks beautiful. Ok Great!
Next day on her birthday at 3:30 in the afternoon she sends me a picture of what was actually delivered, which was a peace lily like plant, in a clay, cheap flower pot that looked spray painted grey and looked old and dirty. Something that you would buy at the grocery store for like $10.00! TOTALLY NOT WHAT WAS ORDERED and not even close! They could have called me to ask if it would be okay, but they did not even have the courtesy of calling me about the substitution or I would have said no - just refund me, and I would have found her what she wanted.
Like going to a restaurant and ordering a lobster and them bringing you chicken and saying that's all we had and you have to pay for the lobster, because that is what you ordered... Apparently somewhere in small print on some random page it says they can substitute whatever they want so watch out. There are a LOT of other flower delivery companies to choose from. Don't get the bait and switch from here or you will regret it like I did. Instead of ordering from here save yourself $40.00 and go buy a cheap plant at the grocery store and drop it off on your doorstep with a small card that someone sloppily wrote happy birthday on. You'll save a of money and she won't know the difference! I tried to add the receipt to verify my purchase, but the email was 2 pages so the site wouldn't take it in 2 pages.

I do not want a coupon because I won't be using these services anymore! Also I sent an email asking them to resolve the issues and all I kept getting were emails telling me to give more information about what happened. I contacted them and Chris with customer service assured me that he would give me a 20% discount since they would not arrive by 6 pm but they should be there later that evening - if not just call back and get a refund. He assured me it was due to the hurricane in the area - I said the hurricane caused flooding in South Carolina and moved north - he tried to convince me that Georgia was the state right below South Carolina and that the hurricane was in Georgia - which it was nowhere near Georgia!
I cancelled my other order for October 28th for my mother's flowers that had already been ordered and Chris with customer service could not understand why I wanted to cancel those flowers because there were never storms in Texas!!! After a small discussion - he said I could cancel the flowers for the 28th and call back the next day for full refund if the flowers ordered for the 6th did not arrive later that night. Ordered largest version of beautiful arrangement morning of 10-6-16, by five called to inquire if nice but they had not arrived. Called 1-800 number and agent apologized nicely and refunded same day and 4 hour delivery fee and no problem they'll be there in the morning with an apology card and a box of chocolates. Mea culpa, mea culpa. Next day checked email, they need additional info. "What room number do these flowers go to or if to employee which department?" So 6 hours after they are late they have questions. If they had bothered to actually show up at the time and at the location the order specified they would have found a five star Micheline hotel; not the Holiday Inn (if located in Savannah or not under a rock they should have recognized this world famous Inn). The front desk and the concierge would have been delighted to walk those flowers right down the hall to accounting where everyone knows the girl who does the payroll.
So at this point I'm thinking "Ok, hillbilly time. Potatoes on a stick and ditch weeds." Called 1-800 number spoke to gentleman who would flag my account and call me within an hour since he is currently unable to speak with their vendor who is not answering the phone. Call number 2 1 hour later goes, "So so sorry he didn't call you back. Hold on while I contact vendor. Vendor not answering. Give me till 2 pm I promise I will call you." Didn't happen. At 2:30 called 1-800 and told "hold on will call the vendor". Came back online - flowers out for delivery. As to why no call back, she said "didn't have any info for you so no need". My daughter left work and as of 10-08-15 still no flowers. If they came at all, they came after five pm two days late and if they are there at all I have no idea what they look like.
Why was a late delivery not sent out first thing the next morning? I think it's because they just can't do any better. The reps have to call the vendors with problems and apparently the vendors don't have phones that are mobile or staffs that are adequate and the home office plays dodge ball with the truth. Last email this evening of the 8th said "Congratulations your flowers delivered 10-6-15." Go figure. P.S. Threw me a lousy 15% discount before they dusted their hands of me. So cheap and lousy.

On 9/17/2015 I ordered the Gerbera Daisy Celebration, deluxe size, for a friend in the hospital for next day delivery. The flowers were delivered as promised and seemed to be in good condition, but there were FAR fewer flowers than expected and FAR more filler. Here is the website description of this arrangement: "Celebrate the day by sending a pink themed bouquet! The Gerbera Daisy Celebration bouquet is arranged by a local florist with pink roses, pink gerbera daisies, pink alstroemeria and purple monte casino. If you know someone who loves pink, this is the perfect gift for them. It is even delivered in a pink fluted vase with a decorative pink ribbon!"
The arrangement my friend received had pink daisies, pink roses, lilies and what seems to be an entire fern. No hint of purple except the purplish vase (which was supposed to be pink and had no pink decorative ribbon). According to the website explanation of the Deluxe flower category, "Flowers will be arranged as similarly to our website picture as possible." Compare the two pictures below and see if you think the flowers delivered are similar to the picture.
When I complained to the company and requested my money back, this is the response I got: "We have reviewed the picture you provided us and the arrangement was filled to value. The flowers that are in bud form will open within 2-4 days and make the arrangement look much fuller. All items are subject to slight substitution according to local availability and season as stated in the product's delivery information on our website. This allows the florist to substitute with a similar container, flowers, color scheme or plant to ensure delivery is made in a timely manner."
They offered me a $15 gift certificate towards a future order and a 20% credit back into my account, neither of which do me any good since I don't plan to ever order flowers from this company again. Clearly their business model is to collect money for a large flower arrangement and then order a small arrangement from a local florist and pocket the difference. I think the pictures on the website are completely false advertising. If the florist can change the container, the flowers and even the entire color scheme, then why even put a description on the website? Consumers want to know what they are purchasing and are understandably upset when they think they are getting one thing and they get something entirely different instead.

Was hooked by the "Same Day Delivery Guaranteed" promise. It was our daughter's 30th birthday yesterday and we live too far apart to be with her on her special day. I placed the order, stated Same Day Delivery, and paid the extra fees to ensure she would receive them. There was an option to log your order # to the site to check on delivery. They said they would respond within 2 hours. Nothing. Then emailed again and said they would get back to me in an hour. Nothing. I cannot tell you how disappointed and angry I was when my daughter said she never received them. So frustrated and mad at myself to trust their promise of Same Day Delivery.
PLEASE use a local florist to send flowers. I have seen by multiple negative reviews of this company that orders were not delivered when promised and the flowers sent were a joke and an embarrassment! Here we are trying to do something positive and all we get is an unprofessional company to deal with. I phoned first thing this morning and spoke to a customer service rep who apologized to me. I told her to cancel the order and credit my credit card. She offered to send an upgraded order, but the birthday was yesterday, not today. She also said that it would have been impossible for them to get the order out when promised. They had my cell number - why didn't they call and tell me??
Never again would I deal with this company or any other online floral company. Unless you have direct contact with a florist, there is no way you can possibly believe your order will go out as promised. What was delivered was a puny white and pink replacements that looked NOTHING like what I ordered with a lot less flowers than what was represented in a generic clear glass vase. They apologized and offered a $20 gift certificate. I want a partial refund for the LACK of flora, or an arrangement that at least looks somewhat like what I ordered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SITE. It's a total scam!

If I could have chosen negative one stars I would have! I don't usually write reviews, but this disastrous experience merits one. I chose to use fromyouflowers.com because they had a same day delivery option. I wanted a surprise gift to welcome my daughter home after an extended hospital stay. I decided to order the Deluxe Gourmet and Fruit Basket and have it delivered and waiting for her when she got home. The first disappointment was that the same day option was not available when I got to the checkout. It was too late by that time to order elsewhere so I went ahead and placed the order to be delivered the next day. In order to "guarantee " a morning delivery I chose expedited service that cost an additional 5 dollars.
When I hadn't hear anything from my daughter about receiving her gift by 11:55, I called fromyouflowers.com and was told that it was still out for delivery. I found the representative I spoke to uninterested and unsympathetic, but I was refunded the fee for expedited and a 20 dollar gift card was to me via email. The customer service representative did not seem to understand that refunding the money and giving a gift card for my "inconvenience " did not change the fact that surprise was ruined because I had had to ask my daughter about the delivery. She now already knew it was coming and would not be surprised!
When I had heard nothing from my daughter by mid afternoon about a delivery, I called again and was told again that it was still out for delivery. I asked for the name of the florist that was fulfilling the order so that I could check on the order directly since nobody there could or would actually find out what the problem was. But I was told they didn't give out that information, and was assured that the basket would arrive soon. They also had not sent the gift card to my email as was offered.
Finally, at 6 PM I received an email claiming that the order had been delivered, but in fact it still had not! I called again and was told that they couldn't contact the florist to get an explanation, because it was now after business hours and they were closed. The rep said he could do nothing until they confirmed in the morning with the florist that the flowers had in fact not been delivered as claimed. In effect he had called me and my daughter a liar! At that point I asked to speak to a manager. After being on hold 10 minutes, he came back on the line to tell me that the manager was not available and would call me back. I said no I would not hang up I would wait on the line with the rep until she was available.
After holding for another 10 minutes a different manager took my call and had no information about the situation, so I had to explain it all again. He also told me that there was nothing that they could do but offered me 20% off of the order and an upgrade of my order to the next level which would include more items. My question to him was "Why was nothing done to track the order and resolve the issue the first two times that I called when the florist would have been able to fix the problem?" He had no response to that and just kept giving excuses for the situation.
At that point I was fed up and said just cancel the order. He said he could not until he spoke to the florist the next morning to confirm the delivery status of the order. Again we were being treated as dishonest! At 8 PM my daughter texted to ask if the surprise was a fruit basket. Someone had called lost and had asked for directions to deliver a fruit basket. So the last shred of surprise was gone!
The basket finally did arrive at 9 PM over 9 hours late! I could have driven the 500 miles and delivered it myself in that amount of time! This morning I got a message that the basket had been delivered and the expedited delivery charge had been refunded, but no mention of the 20% discount or upgrade that I had been offered. Again, I called and was told that there was no record of those offers in the case notes and, of course, I was put on hold. The rep eventually came back on and said that they would honor the 20% offer. No mention was made about the upgrade. They obviously could not upgrade an order after delivery, but nothing was offered as a substitute. I did not have it in me to deal with one more thing so I let that go. After all of that the basket itself was a disappointment. I expected much more for what I paid!
The entire experience was an quite an ordeal from ordering and not being able to get same day delivery, to having the surprise completely ruined, to hours on the phone dealing with customer service representatives that were unwilling to do anything to correct the problem and then a finally a basket with fewer things of mediocre quality. They need not send that gift card. Nothing on their site is 20 dollars or less and they wouldn't get another penny from me!

Internet grifters who do not deliver what they promise! It started simply. Traveling coinciding with my wedding anniversary and wanting to delight my wife. So I went online for flowers and picked these folks with a wonderful guarantee "delivered today". This seemed great, I actually need the flowers delivered tomorrow so I ordered figuring plenty of time. On the day in question, heading to the airport for home, I checked in again with my wife... I thought it was strange she hadn't texted me. No nothing had arrived. Hmm.
The site says residential orders delivered by 6 pm. It's 5:45 pm so track order... I get this: "Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery August 29th with a note of apology explaining the delay, or we would be happy to call the recipient to personally apologize. In addition, we will also include a complimentary upgrade, which will increase the size of your arrangement and give it a fuller look. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you!"
A couple of issues here. I assume they knew about the inability to deliver before I inquired hours prior. But only because I asked did I get this. Basically the promise of "today" is really false advertising... At best it is best effort with no real indication of time frame. This site is a scam. Advertising a service they cannot deliver and accepting payments from whoever will press checkout. If you notice and complain expect a $20 gift certificate offer. As many other reviews have noted BEWARE. Or perhaps better... Just go elsewhere. Unless you want your thoughtful gift of flowers to miss the mark.

I ordered online from fromyouflowers.com on 8/25/15 for same day delivery on a premium sized "sunny days" flower arrangement. The flowers were not delivered until 8/27/15 and not at all like what was pictured online. I am so upset and embarrassed. When I called customer service, all they offered was 20% off the flower part of my order and a full refund of the same day delivery charge. I should have read these reviews before I spent my money with this crappy flower service!!!

Ordered the $39.99 medium bouquet of flowers for a first-time mom on Friday morning. Paid $15 for shipping + additional $3 for same-day delivery at Southampton hospital. At 10 pm received email, "fromyouflowers" saying they were unable to deliver & what upgrade for free. Ok, sounded good, right? HOWEVER, when arrangement was delivered, it was small. I don't even think it was medium - so where was my free upgrade? I've ordered & received flowers before, so I'm Familiar & realistic with flower arrangements and pricing. This was embarrassing.
I spoke w/ Ann at "fromyouflowers". She'll give me 20% credit, ($6) + the $3 same day fee. That is it & I even stressed how unhappy I was. She also said it was against policy to let me know what florist they used. This is probably because they ordered the smallest arrangement from a local florist - yet charge consumer for the more expensive one. I could've picked up a better & Fuller arrangement from BJ's wholesale club. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM, "fromyouflowers". Thanks!

I ordered a premium sympathy basket that was delivered yesterday and I just saw a picture of the flowers that were delivered and I am so disappointed. There is nothing PREMIUM about that basket, the color of the basket is faded white instead of brown and there are only 2 lilies in it. I am so embarrassed. It's absolutely nothing like the picture. And I did not order the standard or deluxe. I wanted the best they could make of it and they sent that petty little basket. Thank God I didn't send these to the funeral home! I would have sent the most laughable arrangement. At first they offered me 15$ credit but a credit doesn't mean anything mostly because I cannot trust that they will send what I see in the picture, so I would not order from them ever again. I asked them if they could make it right and send the correct flowers even 2 days after the funeral, but they refused.

Ordered through these folks because they promised next day delivery. The order was placed on Sunday for Monday delivery. Overpaid on shipping to ensure delivery next day. Monday came and the order was not delivered; Tuesday... still no delivery. Tuesday evening wrote to them about the order. Wednesday morning they decided to *maybe* get the order there on that day, this is after I told them the recipient would not be there on Wednesday. Their solution was 15% off the order... I paid more in shipping than the 15%. Totally unacceptable!! Not only did they not deliver on next day... They did not even try to deliver until I called and complained! This order prob never would have been delivered if I did not call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order for a dozen roses to be sent to my girlfriend's job on Wed 7/29. They were ordered with same day delivery and given instructions that the business closes at 3pm. NO DELIVERY Tuesday. I asked for them to be redelivered Thurs to work but said she was going to be leaving at 1pm. NO DELIVERY. I then called at about 2pm to ask if they could be delivered to her home address later that day. They confirmed with the florist that they could be and that deliveries were done until 7pm. My girlfriend was home at 4pm waiting. I spoke to her at 7:20 and asked if they were delivered, still no delivery. I called these clowns back and asked for a new florist to try and deliver them to work again today (Fri 7/31) but let them know she was leaving work early to go out of town for the weekend. I was told they would "upgrade the order" and include an apology note. Guess what? They still weren't delivered.
That's 3 days, 2 florists, and times they had flowers go out for delivery only to not be delivered. They say they can't guarantee delivery time, why can every other company give some sort of estimated delivery time or especially in the case of a missed delivery make sure the order gets priority and is delivered first the following day? I called to complain and ask for a refund and the girl I spoke to asked if her manager could call me to discuss this and offer me free flowers? Free flowers always sound like a great idea, the problem is these idiots wouldn't deliver them anyway. No thanks. I'll pass.
I have never in my life dealt with such complete and utter incompetence. I should have hand picked the roses myself and driven a couple hours and delivered them myself. At least I know they would have actually gotten delivered and considering the amount of time I spent on the phone with these morons, it might have actually saved me time. If you ever have a loved one die, don't order flowers from these fools unless you want them delivered the day they rise from dead, because that's about how long it's going to take to get your flowers to their destination. Again, 3 days... 2 florists... 4 attempts to two different addresses... NO FLOWERS. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Just spent an hour online trying to get a very clear code to work for the free delivery offer. Finally called and the representative said she did not understand why it was not working either. Put me on hold, came back and made me do the order over the phone. After she takes the entire order again after my having already had to enter in 3 other times online, she tells me the same total that the online order was giving me. The exact reason I called was because it wasn't giving me the discount. So now I have been on the phone with her for half an hour only to find out that they are not going to discount this very item that they solicited the free shipping to me online with in the first place.
So she apologized for all that I had been through, asks me to hold to see if she can get me a discount, comes back and says sorry her supervisor said no. Wow an hour and a half of my time got me nothing. Time that I spent because this company fromyouflowers solicited me a coupon to use. Unbelievable. Online fiasco was bad enough, but then to call customer service, tell them the entire story, have her check into it and say she could fix it, take all the info again and THEN tell me there is no discount. What kind of business is this anyway. UGH!! First and last time I use that company!

I ordered flowers and plants for my boss’s father’s funeral 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!! They called me TODAY, 3 DAYS AFTER the funeral to inform me that the florist couldn't deliver the flowers!!! They had my cell phone # and office phone # and didn't bother to call me to let me know until 3 days after the funeral. (They say the florist had a personal emergency. I really don't care about that nor do I believe it after reading other reviews.) I cannot explain how infuriated I am. After I demanded an email sent immediately to me confirming my refund, a representative from the company had the nerve to call and offer me 50% off the order. I asked her if that’s why she called me and then told her absolutely not. There is no way I would ever do business with them ever, even if it was free. I'll deal with local florists only from now on. What a horrible lesson to learn.

Doing a search for local florists and same day delivery turns up "fromyouflowers" website. This is not suitable for sending to a patient in a hospital. The flowers appear to be shipped in a box without water from outside the country. The flowers are delivered to the hospital's kitchen or receiving area not the patient's room. It is shipped in a box that is difficult to open and the flowers need to be revived and assembled by the recipient. This would not be a problem if the website made that clear.

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to my work. He ordered them online at 8:30am and was promised that they would arrive at 1pm. No flowers, called, no flowers at 2pm. Called, promised in transit now no later than 3pm. I waited an hour and a half in the lobby after work, no flowers. Went home. Called again. They said now in transit to home address go wait outside at apt office. Waited till 5. No flowers. Called, told us maybe as late as 9pm, but would give 20% discount, so deducted another $45 from our bank account. (Total of $110. and no flowers, but lots of lies about delivery truck currently being in transit). Took 4 days to get refund and still no flowers). What a great birthday. Emptying my bank account, causing transactions to bounce and no remorse from "From You Flowers" I sat at home for my birthday.
