On 9/17/2015 I ordered the Gerbera Daisy Celebration, deluxe size, for a friend in the hospital for next day delivery. The flowers were delivered as promised and seemed to be in good condition, but there were FAR fewer flowers than expected and FAR more filler. Here is the website description of this arrangement: "Celebrate the day by sending a pink themed bouquet! The Gerbera Daisy Celebration bouquet is arranged by a local florist with pink roses, pink gerbera daisies, pink alstroemeria and purple monte casino. If you know someone who loves pink, this is the perfect gift for them. It is even delivered in a pink fluted vase with a decorative pink ribbon!"
The arrangement my friend received had pink daisies, pink roses, lilies and what seems to be an entire fern. No hint of purple except the purplish vase (which was supposed to be pink and had no pink decorative ribbon). According to the website explanation of the Deluxe flower category, "Flowers will be arranged as similarly to our website picture as possible." Compare the two pictures below and see if you think the flowers delivered are similar to the picture.
When I complained to the company and requested my money back, this is the response I got: "We have reviewed the picture you provided us and the arrangement was filled to value. The flowers that are in bud form will open within 2-4 days and make the arrangement look much fuller. All items are subject to slight substitution according to local availability and season as stated in the product's delivery information on our website. This allows the florist to substitute with a similar container, flowers, color scheme or plant to ensure delivery is made in a timely manner."
They offered me a $15 gift certificate towards a future order and a 20% credit back into my account, neither of which do me any good since I don't plan to ever order flowers from this company again. Clearly their business model is to collect money for a large flower arrangement and then order a small arrangement from a local florist and pocket the difference. I think the pictures on the website are completely false advertising. If the florist can change the container, the flowers and even the entire color scheme, then why even put a description on the website? Consumers want to know what they are purchasing and are understandably upset when they think they are getting one thing and they get something entirely different instead.

Live and learn. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering flowers online. FromYouFlowers has no email address and a toll-free number that I gave up on after holding for half an hour. Was hooked by the "Same Day Delivery Guaranteed" promise. It was our daughter's 30th birthday yesterday and we live too far apart to be with her on her special day. I placed the order, stated Same Day Delivery, and paid the extra fees to ensure she would receive them. There was an option to log your order # to the site to check on delivery. They said they would respond within 2 hours. Nothing. Then emailed again and said they would get back to me in an hour. Nothing. I cannot tell you how disappointed and angry I was when my daughter said she never received them. So frustrated and mad at myself to trust their promise of Same Day Delivery.
PLEASE use a local florist to send flowers. I have seen by multiple negative reviews of this company that orders were not delivered when promised and the flowers sent were a joke and an embarrassment! Here we are trying to do something positive and all we get is an unprofessional company to deal with. I phoned first thing this morning and spoke to a customer service rep who apologized to me. I told her to cancel the order and credit my credit card. She offered to send an upgraded order, but the birthday was yesterday, not today. She also said that it would have been impossible for them to get the order out when promised. They had my cell number - why didn't they call and tell me??
Never again would I deal with this company or any other online floral company. Unless you have direct contact with a florist, there is no way you can possibly believe your order will go out as promised. They state that they have a GUARANTEE your order will be delivered when you've asked for it. Well, here is my GUARANTEE - I will NEVER deal with your shifty company again. My daughter has only one 30th birthday and you totally screwed it up.

I placed an order for same-day delivery on a Tuesday before 12:30 pm. 48 hours later still no delivery. I emailed the tracking department with no reply on Wednesday. When I called Thursday, 2 days later, I was told that they attempted to call to ask permission to deliver the flowers the following day (which would have been Wednesday) as they did not have an available florist the day I had requested. They also said they emailed me - which I have no record of. Long story short they took the payment just fine, but NEVER delivered the flowers. Still trying to get a refund.

I ordered a large lavender colored floral arrangement that was advertised as having an etched lavender vase. I spent $75 on the largest arrangement I could get. What was delivered was a puny white and pink replacements that looked NOTHING like what I ordered with a lot less flowers than what was represented in a generic clear glass vase. They apologized and offered a $20 gift certificate. I want a partial refund for the LACK of flora, or an arrangement that at least looks somewhat like what I ordered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SITE. It's a total scam!

If I could have chosen negative one stars I would have! I don't usually write reviews, but this disastrous experience merits one. I chose to use fromyouflowers.com because they had a same day delivery option. I wanted a surprise gift to welcome my daughter home after an extended hospital stay. I decided to order the Deluxe Gourmet and Fruit Basket and have it delivered and waiting for her when she got home. The first disappointment was that the same day option was not available when I got to the checkout. It was too late by that time to order elsewhere so I went ahead and placed the order to be delivered the next day. In order to "guarantee " a morning delivery I chose expedited service that cost an additional 5 dollars.
When I hadn't hear anything from my daughter about receiving her gift by 11:55, I called fromyouflowers.com and was told that it was still out for delivery. I found the representative I spoke to uninterested and unsympathetic, but I was refunded the fee for expedited and a 20 dollar gift card was to me via email. The customer service representative did not seem to understand that refunding the money and giving a gift card for my "inconvenience " did not change the fact that surprise was ruined because I had had to ask my daughter about the delivery. She now already knew it was coming and would not be surprised!
When I had heard nothing from my daughter by mid afternoon about a delivery, I called again and was told again that it was still out for delivery. I asked for the name of the florist that was fulfilling the order so that I could check on the order directly since nobody there could or would actually find out what the problem was. But I was told they didn't give out that information, and was assured that the basket would arrive soon. They also had not sent the gift card to my email as was offered.
Finally, at 6 PM I received an email claiming that the order had been delivered, but in fact it still had not! I called again and was told that they couldn't contact the florist to get an explanation, because it was now after business hours and they were closed. The rep said he could do nothing until they confirmed in the morning with the florist that the flowers had in fact not been delivered as claimed. In effect he had called me and my daughter a liar! At that point I asked to speak to a manager. After being on hold 10 minutes, he came back on the line to tell me that the manager was not available and would call me back. I said no I would not hang up I would wait on the line with the rep until she was available.
After holding for another 10 minutes a different manager took my call and had no information about the situation, so I had to explain it all again. He also told me that there was nothing that they could do but offered me 20% off of the order and an upgrade of my order to the next level which would include more items. My question to him was "Why was nothing done to track the order and resolve the issue the first two times that I called when the florist would have been able to fix the problem?" He had no response to that and just kept giving excuses for the situation.
At that point I was fed up and said just cancel the order. He said he could not until he spoke to the florist the next morning to confirm the delivery status of the order. Again we were being treated as dishonest! At 8 PM my daughter texted to ask if the surprise was a fruit basket. Someone had called lost and had asked for directions to deliver a fruit basket. So the last shred of surprise was gone!
The basket finally did arrive at 9 PM over 9 hours late! I could have driven the 500 miles and delivered it myself in that amount of time! This morning I got a message that the basket had been delivered and the expedited delivery charge had been refunded, but no mention of the 20% discount or upgrade that I had been offered. Again, I called and was told that there was no record of those offers in the case notes and, of course, I was put on hold. The rep eventually came back on and said that they would honor the 20% offer. No mention was made about the upgrade. They obviously could not upgrade an order after delivery, but nothing was offered as a substitute. I did not have it in me to deal with one more thing so I let that go. After all of that the basket itself was a disappointment. I expected much more for what I paid!
The entire experience was an quite an ordeal from ordering and not being able to get same day delivery, to having the surprise completely ruined, to hours on the phone dealing with customer service representatives that were unwilling to do anything to correct the problem and then a finally a basket with fewer things of mediocre quality. They need not send that gift card. Nothing on their site is 20 dollars or less and they wouldn't get another penny from me!

Internet grifters who do not deliver what they promise! It started simply. Traveling coinciding with my wedding anniversary and wanting to delight my wife. So I went online for flowers and picked these folks with a wonderful guarantee "delivered today". This seemed great, I actually need the flowers delivered tomorrow so I ordered figuring plenty of time. On the day in question, heading to the airport for home, I checked in again with my wife... I thought it was strange she hadn't texted me. No nothing had arrived. Hmm.
The site says residential orders delivered by 6 pm. It's 5:45 pm so track order... I get this: "Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery August 29th with a note of apology explaining the delay, or we would be happy to call the recipient to personally apologize. In addition, we will also include a complimentary upgrade, which will increase the size of your arrangement and give it a fuller look. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you!"
A couple of issues here. I assume they knew about the inability to deliver before I inquired hours prior. But only because I asked did I get this. Basically the promise of "today" is really false advertising... At best it is best effort with no real indication of time frame. This site is a scam. Advertising a service they cannot deliver and accepting payments from whoever will press checkout. If you notice and complain expect a $20 gift certificate offer. As many other reviews have noted BEWARE. Or perhaps better... Just go elsewhere. Unless you want your thoughtful gift of flowers to miss the mark.

I ordered online from fromyouflowers.com on 8/25/15 for same day delivery on a premium sized "sunny days" flower arrangement. The flowers were not delivered until 8/27/15 and not at all like what was pictured online. I am so upset and embarrassed. When I called customer service, all they offered was 20% off the flower part of my order and a full refund of the same day delivery charge. I should have read these reviews before I spent my money with this crappy flower service!!!

Ordered the $39.99 medium bouquet of flowers for a first-time mom on Friday morning. Paid $15 for shipping + additional $3 for same-day delivery at Southampton hospital. At 10 pm received email, "fromyouflowers" saying they were unable to deliver & what upgrade for free. Ok, sounded good, right? HOWEVER, when arrangement was delivered, it was small. I don't even think it was medium - so where was my free upgrade? I've ordered & received flowers before, so I'm Familiar & realistic with flower arrangements and pricing. This was embarrassing.
I spoke w/ Ann at "fromyouflowers". She'll give me 20% credit, ($6) + the $3 same day fee. That is it & I even stressed how unhappy I was. She also said it was against policy to let me know what florist they used. This is probably because they ordered the smallest arrangement from a local florist - yet charge consumer for the more expensive one. I could've picked up a better & Fuller arrangement from BJ's wholesale club. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM, "fromyouflowers". Thanks!

I ordered a premium sympathy basket that was delivered yesterday and I just saw a picture of the flowers that were delivered and I am so disappointed. There is nothing PREMIUM about that basket, the color of the basket is faded white instead of brown and there are only 2 lilies in it. I am so embarrassed. It's absolutely nothing like the picture. And I did not order the standard or deluxe. I wanted the best they could make of it and they sent that petty little basket. Thank God I didn't send these to the funeral home! I would have sent the most laughable arrangement. At first they offered me 15$ credit but a credit doesn't mean anything mostly because I cannot trust that they will send what I see in the picture, so I would not order from them ever again. I asked them if they could make it right and send the correct flowers even 2 days after the funeral, but they refused.

Ordered through these folks because they promised next day delivery. The order was placed on Sunday for Monday delivery. Overpaid on shipping to ensure delivery next day. Monday came and the order was not delivered; Tuesday... still no delivery. Tuesday evening wrote to them about the order. Wednesday morning they decided to *maybe* get the order there on that day, this is after I told them the recipient would not be there on Wednesday. Their solution was 15% off the order... I paid more in shipping than the 15%. Totally unacceptable!! Not only did they not deliver on next day... They did not even try to deliver until I called and complained! This order prob never would have been delivered if I did not call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order for a dozen roses to be sent to my girlfriend's job on Wed 7/29. They were ordered with same day delivery and given instructions that the business closes at 3pm. NO DELIVERY Tuesday. I asked for them to be redelivered Thurs to work but said she was going to be leaving at 1pm. NO DELIVERY. I then called at about 2pm to ask if they could be delivered to her home address later that day. They confirmed with the florist that they could be and that deliveries were done until 7pm. My girlfriend was home at 4pm waiting. I spoke to her at 7:20 and asked if they were delivered, still no delivery. I called these clowns back and asked for a new florist to try and deliver them to work again today (Fri 7/31) but let them know she was leaving work early to go out of town for the weekend. I was told they would "upgrade the order" and include an apology note. Guess what? They still weren't delivered.
That's 3 days, 2 florists, and times they had flowers go out for delivery only to not be delivered. They say they can't guarantee delivery time, why can every other company give some sort of estimated delivery time or especially in the case of a missed delivery make sure the order gets priority and is delivered first the following day? I called to complain and ask for a refund and the girl I spoke to asked if her manager could call me to discuss this and offer me free flowers? Free flowers always sound like a great idea, the problem is these idiots wouldn't deliver them anyway. No thanks. I'll pass.
I have never in my life dealt with such complete and utter incompetence. I should have hand picked the roses myself and driven a couple hours and delivered them myself. At least I know they would have actually gotten delivered and considering the amount of time I spent on the phone with these morons, it might have actually saved me time. If you ever have a loved one die, don't order flowers from these fools unless you want them delivered the day they rise from dead, because that's about how long it's going to take to get your flowers to their destination. Again, 3 days... 2 florists... 4 attempts to two different addresses... NO FLOWERS. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Just spent an hour online trying to get a very clear code to work for the free delivery offer. Finally called and the representative said she did not understand why it was not working either. Put me on hold, came back and made me do the order over the phone. After she takes the entire order again after my having already had to enter in 3 other times online, she tells me the same total that the online order was giving me. The exact reason I called was because it wasn't giving me the discount. So now I have been on the phone with her for half an hour only to find out that they are not going to discount this very item that they solicited the free shipping to me online with in the first place.
So she apologized for all that I had been through, asks me to hold to see if she can get me a discount, comes back and says sorry her supervisor said no. Wow an hour and a half of my time got me nothing. Time that I spent because this company fromyouflowers solicited me a coupon to use. Unbelievable. Online fiasco was bad enough, but then to call customer service, tell them the entire story, have her check into it and say she could fix it, take all the info again and THEN tell me there is no discount. What kind of business is this anyway. UGH!! First and last time I use that company!

I ordered flowers and plants for my boss’s father’s funeral 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!! They called me TODAY, 3 DAYS AFTER the funeral to inform me that the florist couldn't deliver the flowers!!! They had my cell phone # and office phone # and didn't bother to call me to let me know until 3 days after the funeral. (They say the florist had a personal emergency. I really don't care about that nor do I believe it after reading other reviews.) I cannot explain how infuriated I am. After I demanded an email sent immediately to me confirming my refund, a representative from the company had the nerve to call and offer me 50% off the order. I asked her if that’s why she called me and then told her absolutely not. There is no way I would ever do business with them ever, even if it was free. I'll deal with local florists only from now on. What a horrible lesson to learn.

Doing a search for local florists and same day delivery turns up "fromyouflowers" website. This is not suitable for sending to a patient in a hospital. The flowers appear to be shipped in a box without water from outside the country. The flowers are delivered to the hospital's kitchen or receiving area not the patient's room. It is shipped in a box that is difficult to open and the flowers need to be revived and assembled by the recipient. This would not be a problem if the website made that clear.

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to my work. He ordered them online at 8:30am and was promised that they would arrive at 1pm. No flowers, called, no flowers at 2pm. Called, promised in transit now no later than 3pm. I waited an hour and a half in the lobby after work, no flowers. Went home. Called again. They said now in transit to home address go wait outside at apt office. Waited till 5. No flowers. Called, told us maybe as late as 9pm, but would give 20% discount, so deducted another $45 from our bank account. (Total of $110. and no flowers, but lots of lies about delivery truck currently being in transit). Took 4 days to get refund and still no flowers). What a great birthday. Emptying my bank account, causing transactions to bounce and no remorse from "From You Flowers" I sat at home for my birthday.
