We order 5 12 roses arrangements and we got them with only 4 roses or 3 on one of them when it suppose to be 12 roses. We also order 30 ballons and got only 10. Also paid for fast delivery. 20 extra dollars to be in a time frame the birthday person will be at that location and they delivered 8 hrs later from before 1 pm to 7 pm and we tried to call them multiple times and no luck on getting an answer back at all.

I ordered a family flower spray for my father's funeral on 12/16 for delivery on 12/18 by 10:00am at the church. Upon my arrival at the church, I noticed first of all that the flowers were not there. In the middle of the service, I receive a text message from them stating there was an issue with delivery!!! I contacted them on the next morning and was informed that the arrangement was never made. I asked how they were going to make this right...the best they could come up with was a wicker flower basket to have in the home. I told them several times that I wanted something comparable but a wicker basket was the best they could offer!!! Refund me my money!!!

The flowers that I ordered for a funeral were nothing like what was delivered. The worst thing was the card. I typed "May tender memories soften your grief". In very sloppy writing, the card read, "thunder your grief". I was so embarrassed. I called to complain, and was offered $10, and they would call the recipients to apologize. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I said no, and $10 would not cut it. She said she couldn't go any higher, and I said that is still not enough. We spent $125 for what?? She then said, "well, I could go $20". Again, I said, "Not enough". She put me on hold, and came back to say, "I can do $25, but no more". I finally gave up, and thought that I would look at reviews. I really wish I would have done that first. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!!!!

I was supposed to receive a delivery for my birthday - they updated them in the system for the one that ordered them, that they were delivered and they were not! They are liars. They are childish and do not offer discounts to make anything right. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! You will be disappointed and so will the one you order them for. It is no fun to have to call a person you send flowers to to see if they arrived. 1. It spoils the surprise. 2. It irritates both parties. Avas should close!! Their customer service is awful and shady!!!! They could start a "joke's on you" business. If I could rate them below 10 stars I would. AVAS = BIG SHADY BUSINESS!!!! They make money - but it is off disappointment~.

Avas Flowers is absolutely a ripoff. I did a Google search for local florist near me. Avas Flowers was the first choice. They claim to have local affiliates but say it's against policy to say who they are. When I entered my information and placed an order an additional $24+ was added. I called and was told it was for handling charges. The web site say free delivery. I said I wanted to cancel the order but they kept me on until they said the additional charges would be removed and the flowers would be delivered by 7pm that day. They never arrived. I spent about an hour being transferred between representatives. Just to cancel the order. They’re absolutely terrible.

I have to update my review in all fairness to this company. My recipient did receive my flowers from this company after all. The card that I sent with the flowers did not have my name on it so they didn’t know who they were from. The picture that the company sent of the flowers sitting in front of their home helped to solve this. I did call to apologize to the company for not believing they had delivered the flowers.
I am still giving only three stars due to the size of the bouquet that I paid for. I chose a large option and from the picture this arrangement was not that big. They also added a $26.00 fee. I’m still not sure why the card did not have my name on it but I’m not going to contact my recipient again who is mourning the death of a loved one. I also want to say the customer service representatives was a positive one. Girls were very courteous and patient.

I went online to order flowers from what I thought was a local florist in Carlsbad Ca. This sympathy arrangement was to be delivered the next day. I got a confirmation that it was delivered but after a few days of not hearing from my recipient I called to find out it had not been delivered at all. I called and called customer service who told me that it has been delivered. This company uses affiliate companies to deliver but they will not tell you who it is. I notified American Express of what I would consider a scam company. Beware of online ordering. Call the Florist directly and ask where they are located before ordering.

OMG... Do not, I repeat DO NOT order from this company! The arrangement that I ordered is not what was delivered. I called customer service, and after a half hour of almost completely un-understandable dialogue with their foreign customer service representative I was hung up on. I called back and asked for a supervisor. I was on hold for almost a half hour. When the supervisor finally picked up... again a foreigner that was un-understandable. I was on the phone with this total moron for over an hour before I finally got a minimal amount of satisfaction. This is the worst customer service situation that I have ever experienced. STEER CLEAR OF THEM MY FRIENDS!

Sneaky pricing. They bury an extremely high service charge at the very end of the checkout process. The service fee info does not show up before that in any way. They will not refund the order or the service fee either. They say they are a local florist, but they are not the florist. They are a third-party company that puts in orders with local florists. Save yourself the money and go straight to an actual local florist.

I ordered flowers, then was charged a fee required to "ensure they do a good job." Really? Isn't it expected they do a good job. My order was $89, charged $128. Ordered a big arrangement for a funeral, it was half the size of the one pictured. Said they would give me a tiny credit of about $10, didn't. Said they would resend. Told them he could only die once. No second funeral. DO NO EVER ORDER FROM THEM. LIARS, CHEATS, IDIOTS.

I ordered a flower bouquet for a family member with cancer. Order placed 3 days before Thanksgiving with delivery date for 11/23 or 11/24. After many calls, a terrible flower "bouquet" arrived on 11/26. Looked like a $10 grocery store purchase. I paid $79.

Hi, my order was canceled and delivered anyway after repeated requests. I needed the order same day and was promised that it would be delivered and thereafter it was a nightmare, tracking the order and getting honesty and professionalism. I have requested a block with my credit card company, but not much surprised when I read my story on social media several hundred times. You obviously are a criminal enterprise and I intend to take this to every level I can because it’s clear to me that you could care less about your feedback on social media. I’m going to see if I can have you shut down and held accountable with my attorney and attorney general's office.
They will come for you legally. I’m asking you once again to refund my money. You delivered this order three days after I was guaranteed I would have it delivered or you would accept a cancellation. I made other arrangements and the event was scheduled for the same day, so it’s of no value to me other than, a bouquet of useless expensive flowers. Ed **

A week after I expected my flower delivery had been made, I realized I never received a confirmation of delivery. I called AVAS and they didn't know, and asked me if it was delivered (they didn't know...??). I checked with the recipient of the delivery who said they didn't receive it, so I called the company back. Several phone calls later - I still don't have resolution. Poor customer service, didn't follow through on an order, and my aunt still doesn't have her birthday flowers. Very disappointing. I would expect not only follow through with the delivery (albeit late), and a full refund. I'm not confident I will get either one. I do not recommend this business.

I ordered a beautiful Christmas tree arrangement from Avas' website. On top of the price of the arrangement, there is a service fee & a delivery fee which that alone was $40 not including the arrangement. When the arrangement arrived, it was nothing close to what was online. It was not a Xmas tree at all. It only had 2 flowers a bunch of greenery & 2 candy canes. It was supposed to have ornaments & carnations. The pot was plastic & kept tipping over. What a disappointment & embarrassment when this was delivered for all the money that was spent. I got a $20 credit & will never order from here again. BEWARE.

What they sent was an okay quality and 5 flowers. The arrangement I paid for had many flowers and was much larger. They have not replied to my complaint. The flowers were sent the week of November 20.

DO NOT USE. IT'S A SCAM! I don't know where they are located but my guess is not in the US. They said the arrangement was delivered and it was not. They falsely advertised they were located in Conway, AR and are not. Language barrier when trying to communicate cancel the order. Nightmare and they should be investigated and put out of business.

I ordered flowers on the 3rd to be delivered on the 5th. No delivery was made. I called the company they have no tracking but said they had until 7 pm to deliver - I called back at 7:20 and they were closed. I called back the next morning on the 6th and they are closed for the holiday! What holiday!? I will never buy from again!

I called Dec 1st and representative assured me Holiday bouquet and wreath would arrive that same day for my Mom's B'Day . . . Well he lied! My order arrived on the 3rd and looked awful. The vase was the size of a small glass with the cheapest looking flowers from the street. Looked more like weeds. The wreath was as plain can be. Total $124.00 - not worth ordering from this company EVER! Reps placed me on hold 10 times and customer service department only answers if you are placing new orders. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Went to purchase a holiday flower arrangement on behalf of my mom for her best friend as a gift. Website advertises "free delivery with code." It's not free delivery they will add an unacceptable service charge to upcharge you. My mother loved the arrangement so I went ahead and ordered it for her friend. Within minutes, I received a text message "URGENT" stating they could not give me the holiday arrangement but offered me something similar. The choices were summer flowers and definitely no holiday theme. I had the option to cancel if I didn't like the choices. I tried but the "cancel order" choice did not work. I tried to cancel online and the result was "unable to cancel due to delivery processing" nonsense. I called, you could not get a live human. When I added my order number the message states "unable to find."
I immediately contacted the credit card company, disputed the charge immediately, and I ordered a new card in the event of fraudulent activity. But wait, there's more. A few moments later, a representative who I could barely understand called. She tried to push one of the summer flowers on me, I said, "No, please cancel." She continued to try and sales pitch me stating she'll remove the service charge, then, she'll remove the taxes, then, she'll see if another florist can do a different design for an additional fee. I said, "Cancel." I asked her to cancel (which was an option they gave me to begin with) at least 7 times.
Finally, she put me on hold, then came back after several minutes. She tried again to sell me one of the summer flowers, I said, "For the last time, cancel my order." I should have read the reviews before ordering. The ending of the conversation was basically, "Okay, I'll cancel and refund your order." I have yet to see this on my credit card transactions as a credit. Unbelievable.

I ordered online expecting to get similar to what was pictured. What arrived looked 1/3 of the size. It had only 2 roses and the rest was filler such as baby's breath. It was sparse and not pretty at all. I spent $78 for what looked like a $15 arrangement. I will never order from Avas Flowers again.

Placed the order for a funeral arrangement to be delivered at the time of the viewing - Ordered late but the order went right through, confirmation was received that the flowers would be delivered that day -- 2 hours later I am receiving an email stating that the flowers would not be delivered due to some type of an issue with the funeral home times, which was total nonsense! When I called I was told there were no delivery drivers, so the flowers would not be delivered but they could deliver them GRAVESIDE the following day. Was not satisfied but at this point I had no other options.
I ordered the flowers locally which the website stated that if ordered in Kilmarnock, they would be delivered that day, in fact the florist is just down the street from the funeral home and they could not walk their backsides down and drop them off - delivery was needed. I then received an urgent text that evening to contact them immediately at which time - dealing with the same uneducated person I dealt with earlier in the day - was told that the flowers were not delivered, which I already knew, I asked to speak to a manager.
Eventually he connected me to a manager who was super courteous, wanted to help, promised me she would personally be sure that the flowers would arrive, I would receive an email with the picture of the arrangement once delivered (PS I NEVER DID). She promised me she would follow up personally, which never happened. I only received a $20.00 credit on an arrangement which was almost $75.00 ($25.00 processing fee - for WHAT?!!!). The only way I know they arrived as they pulled up just in time for the GRAVESIDE service and handed them to a family member - UNPROFESSIONAL AT BEST - I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. I spent more of my time on this $75.00 arrangement than credited and their promises were not kept - They just don't seem to care - STAY CLEAR OF THIS FLORAL SERVICE!!!!

I had placed an order for a flower arrangement that I need to be delivered by 11/29. For my sister's funeral services on 11/30 on the Am. To tell me they could deliver day of the services but could not guarantee me in the morning. I had to cancel the order and left without the money to get flowers for my sister services due to taking a few days to refund. I'm so hurt and it's too late to order elsewhere. Please don't waste your money or time.

This is not the florist you want to call to send flowers. I told them I needed the flowers delivered today by 2 pm and they text me at 1:09 pm to tell me to call them. I'm on the telephone right now for over an hour with their customer service transferring me to 4 different people. It is now 2:05 pm and I'm still on the phone with yet another lady telling me they can't get the flowers deliver today and they can deliver them tomorrow. This is a birthday bouquet and balloons. The birthday is today. I told her to forget about it and credit my account. She proceeded to say she will send them tomorrow. I'm told my account has been credited and I don't see this happened just yet. To be continued. This is a future no brainer for all of you that want to send flowers. Stay away from this company.

I would NEVER tell someone to use this company for flower arrangements. I ordered flowers for a funeral service. The service was held on a Saturday and I asked for the arrangement to be delivered on Friday to make sure they would be there for the viewing and service. Keep in mind I order this on November 8th to be delivered on November 10th. WELL to my surprise I received an email on NOVEMBER 27th that the arrangement was NOT delivered, but they did refund our money!!! How nice to refund the money on a product that was never received!!!! NEVER, NEVER use this company!!! Can you imagine how embarrassing this situation was???

Flowers DID NOT Arrive. An order was placed, with a few undisclosed fees until time for payment. I Proceeded regardless because we needed a flower arrangement for a funeral in a timely fashion. Received an email stating they were delivered. Called funeral home to verify and there was NO DELIVERY. After a grueling morning back and forth on the phone they said they would investigate. Finally, after I called the funeral home I discovered there was in fact a delivery. The piece was NOT exactly what I ordered but at least there was something. I feel if I DID NOT call myself to check indeed NO Flowers would be there. They are trying to get away with delivering if they can. I do believe they are scamming the unsuspecting consumer. Definitely choose another florist.

Order 2 arrangements for a loss of their loved one. They advertised same day delivery. The charges are outrageous. They tacked on a Service fee of 29 dollars plus a 10 dollar delivery fee so a 52 dollar order cost 96 dollars. That’s ok if you get great service but they never delivered the flowers the same day. I called them and they said they had some driver issues and were so sorry. I told them I wanted a refund on both of my orders and they offered to give a courtesy call to the families and a 20 percent discount. I told them it was too late. I want a refund so she puts me on hold and comes back on the line she said she refunded me. So I asked her did you refund for both of my orders..Well quess what, nope she only refunded one of them. She did refund me for both but if I didn’t ask she would have only refunded 1 order. This is just scammy terrible lying service.

BUYER BEWARE. Do NOT order from this company. My friend finished chemo and I sent her a bouquet via Avas Flowers as they advertise they sell flowers from "local florists" and I wanted her to receive a beautiful bouquet. I ordered for next day delivery, which did not happen but wasn't even the main issue here. My friend asks me if I had sent her flowers via DoorDash from the supermarket (King Sooper). I said, "No. That was not me, I ordered from a florist." She shows me the card which is my name. They literally just DoorDashed her a grocery store bouquet of flowers.
I spent 81$ to get her something really nice, and they quite literally scammed me. The bouquet was nothing like the picture, and obviously from a chain supermarket. I could have done that myself. When I called customer service, they put me on hold and called the recipient (without telling me). She was nice and said she liked the flowers, which they used as their case for there being "clearly no issues." Please do not give this company your money.

Ordered flowers online. A mix of lilies and Roses for her birthday. They delivered sunflowers and dead twigs. Complained and offered a $15 credit on a future purchase (after a $98 screwup). They had a $30 hidden fee as well. Had to resort to a chargeback.

I ordered flowers from Avas for a family member's funeral (I do not live in a nearby town so I did not know a local florists). Upon checking out there was a service fee of $25.00 that was a surprise. Upon arriving at the funeral our flowers were, by far, the smallest bouquet there and was the most expensive by about $50.00

Don't order from Avas Flowers. I placed an order for a funeral. I canceled it the same day that I ordered. I received a confirmation email but they refused to refund my $255. They said it was delivered. How it was delivered after I canceled it make no sense. When you order they tell you a local flower shop will take care of it. That's **.

I ordered a large bouquet to be delivered the following day for a funeral and had nothing but disappointment. Price advertised and actual price at check out was significantly higher due to an outrageous "delivery service fee." Although I received a confirmation the flowers were delivered, they never were received. Extremely difficult to reach this company by phone. 10 days later I finally got a very nice customer service rep who said she understood my frustration is issuing a refund.

I ordered an arrangement for my mother-in-law's funeral that never arrived. The company insisted they were delivered, but I was there. No flowers. Very hard to get in touch with and they just kept pushing that the flowers were delivered. Completely unacceptable. Never again will I use this company!

Told Avas Flowers someone will be there starting at 2 p.m. CST. Long story still long, they called Amy not once but twice. Y'all make life harder than it has to be. Use just 1 brain cell..1. I ordered the beautiful purple arrangements on the right side with the beige bear, I got a white bear and those flowers that looks dehydrated on the left, $105.00. I called in and sent the photo on the left, the rep said it's perfect, just as on the website. I said I'm extremely disappointed about this item order, I was assured it will be as on the site, was told I'll get a $10.00 refund. This is my first and LAST TIME EVER purchasing anything here... Those items looks like someone stood on a table and drop them in the vase. This is shameful they'd sent something out looking like this that represents their product, I wouldn't give those to a dog... SHAMEFUL...

This place is truly scamming people. I actually spoke with a person from Avas Flowers for my Mother's Funeral. I got the number from which I thought was a true website. The person I spoke with even told me she was a local florist is Union City, CA. I place 3 orders, an Arrangement for the Urn, Heart Wreath and a Round wreath totaling $633.00. The day of the Funeral Mass on 10/25/2023 at 11:00 NO FLOWERS arrived from Avas Flowers. I was literally on hold before the procession started in the church.
After the fact, that evening I was given the RUN AROUND from fake employees at a Call Center pretending they were getting to the bottom of it.... They blamed it on the (pretend) local florist saying the flowers were delivered - which were not (I confirmed with the Church). They were probably hoping I would just give up and kiss my money goodbye, which I did not. Luckily I contacted my Bank's fraud unit and they were able to assist me and refunded my money - thank God for them! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Lesson learned, I will only walk into a local florist to order any type of arrangements.

I ordered a large bouquet of flowers (30-40 flowers) along with a stuffed bear for my wife. I was notified it was delivered but it was not. I contacted the florist and two hours later they delivered a joke of a bouquet with 5 flowers, and no stuffed bear. Sat on hold for a long time only to be told they do not do refunds. NEVER buy from this florist! They contract out everything and have no accountability, even though their website talks extensively about how we both have a contract for the purchased items. $120 down the drain.

I can't even describe my frustration in words. How are they in business? First, ordered a small flower delivery 11 days ago. They never got delivered. no emial update on delays. Nothing. This was for my daughter's 13th birthday as a gesture that I love her even though she won't speak to me. Thanks for further damaging our relationship. Then i tried to contact someone to fix it. Nope, you can't get through. Webchat? Hah, no to that too. Finally someone called back and gave a discount but with a turnaround of next day. So now 2 days after her birthday I can only hope they don't mess this up as well. Someone please shut this company down. My fault for not looking at all the terrible reviews. Save your money and headache and order from a real company.

I called to order flowers for my Cousin's birthday. I told the customer service representative that I would only order if I could get same day delivery. She placed me on hold and called the local florist. She assured me I would get same day service. The flowers didn't arrive as promised, instead arrived late the next day. I called customer service and all they did was apologize. They offered me a $15 dollar credit, but when they realized I had used a coupon lowered it to $10. When I ordered the flowers, I picked out flowers shown on their web page, but the Rep told me the price quoted was for the smaller size, but pictured was the larger size. Buyer beware!! My $39 dollar order with coupon turned into $87 with fees and taxes.

Was going through the Net with a search for flower delivery in another State. Came across Avas Flowers which looked like it had great reviews. Ordered flowers on a Thursday for delivery Friday. Didn't hear from the recipient so on Wednesday called to see if the flowers were delivered. Recipient said no. Called Avas on Thursday and they said it was delivered but no one could verify and they would try contacting the florist. Now on Friday, I called Avas again, they said they would try to deliver again on Friday. Friday night, No delivery.
Called Saturday morning, and Avas said the driver for the flowers had the bouquet on the truck but for some reason returned to shop with flowers. Gave Avas recipient phone number and while online they called and verified address and such. Was told delivery would be today. Called Avas on Saturday evening and still no delivery. Asked for Manager and all manager could do was offer $15 back and try again on Monday as the florist was now closed and doesn't open on Sunday. 8 days, no flowers. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

What a rip off from this company!! Not only did I pay an expedited charge for same-day delivery but the flowers never arrived!! Calling customer service did absolutely nothing other than ask if they could give me $10 in compensation back!! Why do I have a feeling that if I did receive the flowers that they would look nothing like what I had ordered???

I ordered online with this company because the site stated that they have same day delivery. This is NOT true. I received 6 text messages after my order was placed. I explained to the CSR that my order was time sensitive and had to be delivered same day. They initially stated that there was a problem with the type of flowers I chose. I changed the flowers and was then told that my order couldn't be delivered until the following day. They actually delivered 2 of the 3 orders and the next day I received 3 text messages to contact the florist because there was again a problem with my order. I was then told the last bouquet couldn't be delivered until the next day of which was two days later!!! I have not received my final order.

I ordered a large flower arrangement and paid rush delivery. Worst experience ever. When the flowers were not delivered, I canceled my order. They ignored my request. Instead, Avas Flowers delivered the flowers two days later. The "large" arrangement consisted of just a few flowers. This place should be out of business.

Ordered sprays for a funeral and received the worst flowers I've ever seen. Colors were white, royal blue, and black. The royal blue looked purple and the black was partially spray painted on a white flower, it literally looked like the flowers were burnt. Also, I didn't even receive sprays I received 2 small baskets of flowers. I was at my brother's funeral service on the phone most of the day because they kept passing me from person to person because I wouldn't accept the $20 and $40 discount they were trying to give me. At the end I just settled for 50% reimbursement because I didn't want to continue arguing my point and had to get back to the service. Worst flowers and worst customer service. Yes, I get it, Ava's flowers doesn't actually make the flower arrangements, but come on, at least choose a florist that is professional and knows what they are doing.

I ordered the Blue Sympathy Standing Basket on 08/10/22 for my mother's memorial service to be held on 08/13/22. The delivery was scheduled for 08/12/22 and was on time. The flowers themselves were lovely, but they were not on a stand; which was crucial due to the set-up of location. When the local florist who made the actual delivery was contacted, they informed me that the company (Avas Flowers) made no mention of a stand in the written order and they did not have any stands available which would have meant placing the flower arrangement on the floor. Needless to say, I was very upset. The only saving grace was that the florist had a pedestal that they offered to let our family use. Because of what we experienced as a family (especially during a time of bereavement) I will never use Avas Flowers again.

I have called several times (Order **) never delivered and no refund. Each time they open a ticket to "Investigate" and I get no callback and no credit. They just take your money. It looks like this is their business model based on other reviews.

I called to order flowers for my girlfriend’s birthday. Placed the order on Monday for delivery on Saturday. They were very nice on the phone, promised the delivery would be made Saturday. Explained how important it was that they be delivered on Saturday. As it got later in the day (close to 7pm) the flowers had not been delivered. Tried to call but was directed to customer service which ended up being a menu tree of “Press 1 or 2” and so on. Put my order number in and got a recording that said they were scheduled for delivery and that FedEx or UPS would send me an email confirming delivery. Now I’m getting pissed off because they clearly do not have a person from the florist delivering flowers like most shops. Flowers never arrived.
Back on their website found as option labeled “Where’s My Stuff”…. Put me order number in and got same message… "Will contact you when delivered”. Now it is past the window….her birthday. It’s like buying a car without the wheels attached. I bought a product… flowers with a promised on-time delivery”… Never happened. Now it doesn’t matter… The event has passed… had to apologize to my girlfriend.
Seems to be a scam….there are to many florists out there. What is funny but sad is that they describe themselves as fastest delivery…. The voice on the phone when I ordered had a strong ** accent….if you know anything about the ** mafia, you would quickly think the business is run by them…. Please, learn from my very bad experience and don’t order from them!!!

This must be the worst people to deal with. I ordered 24 red roses for my Wife to celebrate our 32 bday wedding anniversary. The roses were delivered late and in terrible condition I have photos if needed! Do not deal with this company. You will be very disappointed and a complete waste of hard earned money. DO NOT order from AVAS flowers. Everything about this company is terrible. Hidden fees at check-out. Flowers never arrived. Customer support email gave no reason for delayed delivery, saying they were investigating, blaming the local florist- if there even is one. I called customer service 4 times. First one said she would investigate and call back. She didn't. Second one- the call was dropped. Third one- said they couldn't contact the recipient- but nobody ever called. Fourth time, the call was again dropped. I got a follow up email requesting info from me. I responded, to find out it was a "do not reply" email. This is truly a scam. NEVER use AVAS flowers. I will let the credit card company handle the dispute.

I ordered a large bouquet. The large size was an upgrade from the picture for $10 more. I paid another $9.99 for delivery before 2:00 PM because my wife is a school teacher and I had them delivered to her school. There was a $30 service fee at the end which was a surprise. They did not deliver on time. The delivery was around 6:00 at night after the school day was over. The worst part was the size of the bouquet was embarrassingly tiny. I paid $100 for this bouquet and it had 6 short roses and a couple of mini carnations. I could have bought better flowers from 7-Eleven. I complained online to their customer service complaint form and got no response.
I emailed them pictures of the website bouquet and the actual bouquet delivered and no response. Then I called and the customer service person tried to tell me that since it was more than 48 hours, they could only give me a credit. I refused this since my initial complaint was the same day my wife received the flowers. The representative tried to convince me to have the flowers redelivered. I said no. She offered to refund the money after the florist confirmed that they picked up the garbage flowers. I feel harassed by their poor customer service policies. This entire experience was terrible.
I demanded that they refund the money now so I am not held subject to the pick up from the florist. Eventually, the representative relented and issued the refund. Customer service representatives should not continuously harass customers to prevent them from getting their money back when the company messes up. I'm still waiting to see if the money gets returned to my account.

Ordered a cheerful orange mum arrangement in lt green basket with a bow, based on website photo, for my sister who was hospitalized. Was charged a $24 service fee. Total cost $65. What she received a maroon/brownish sparse mum plant in a lt tan basket. No bow.It looked like something thrown out at the grocery store. Such a depressing product received. I get substitutions may need to happen, but they didn't even try. Idk how this business could be ok delivering the product they did. I feel scammed.

I order a large floral display on a stand for my mothers funeral. Paid >$175 dollars for it. What was delivered was a green table display you could buy at the grocery store for about $30. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. When I called customer service they offered me an upgrade to send to my mom. This was after I explained she was buried yesterday. I asked for a full refund and my call was dropped. Called back, got another agent who wasn’t listening after I told him what happened on the previous call. He had the gall to ask me if I would settle for 50% off!!! I demanded a Supervisor and after a extended hold period finally offered the full refund.

Told it would be delivered, never showed up, then told it would be delivered the next day. It never showed up, then they wanted to deliver again in 3 days. This all happened while they tried selling me a different product. They did not want to deliver the product I purchased. Nobody there spoke good English.

Terribly disappointed and embarrassed at what was delivered to my sister for her birthday. $85 total, that included free delivery. The actual flowers delivered have a value of ~$20. Tried filing a grievance on their online portal, however you can’t upload a photo and must must not exceed 200 characters. Ordered via GOOGLE SPONSERED Avas – delivered by Graceland Flowers, Mount Vernon, NY (also an 800-flowers). Don’t know how much money trickles down to the actual flower shop, but it must only be a few dollars based on what was delivered. Charges: Flowers -$49.99, Delivery – 0, Service Fee $28.94, Tax – $6.62 = $85.55.
I’m an adult and perfectly understand how the photo is just an example of what to expect. Certain flowers may not be available, so please go ahead and substitute. However, I do expect a similar quantity and quality. Some of the sparsely arranged flowers were withered! Should have called the flower shop directly and paid over the phone. Never again will I use AVAS FLOWERS.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife for our anniversary. I received my confirmation. They called me to double check the delivery address. My wife comes home several hours later with no flowers. I called and was told the driver could not find her work address. So I had them deliver to my house. They said, "No problem." Two hours later I called them to ask where the flowers are and they said my house was too far to make the delivery. They offered to retry the next day. But my anniversary was that day. After several phone calls I had to get very rude to get them to refund my money. Lesson learned. Never use this company. If I could give less than 1 star, I would have.

Called customer support and was unable to talk to a real person.... the entire thing was automated and I finally got put on hold but they just hung up on me. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and never ordering from this place again.

They just don't seem to understand people send flowers for very special reasons so what is sent is important to both the giver and receiver. Despite placing my order 2 days early, they were supposedly delivered to the church after the funeral had already started. But nobody knew they were there or got to see them. May have been pretty flowers, but completely useless if the recipient doesn't actually get them. When I complained they offered me a 20 % refund. I have been buying flowers online across the US for years and I have never experienced such a horrible service than this company. I purchased an order and even upgraded it to large along with balloons that were $39. I did not get what I ordered and the balloons look like they came from the grocery store and you could have bought those for 25 cents each. I also understand that if there is a substitution it will be closely resembled to what I ordered and it was nowhere near resembling what I had ordered. When I try to contact them online I get the substitution disclosure contacting them is impossible. This looks like something that I could have done on my own and delivered it and paid the gas money for it because I was also charged $28 and extra fees making a total order of $140 for something that was $80. How is that fair along with a coupon for free delivery. This place is definitely a ripoff.

I wish I would’ve read reviews before ordering from this place!! Do NOT order from here!!! The only time you will actually speak with a live representative is if THEY need to speak with you!! If you make a mistake on card or need to speak with them for any modification of your order, You will NEVER be able to get a hold of them!! Pricey and will NOT deliver on time. Worst flower shop EVER!! Don’t make the same mistake I did. Luckily my bank stopped the transaction because Ava’s flower shop would not refund me! I used another flower shop to fulfill my order!!

I ordered flowers October 5th for my mother's birthday on the 6th and was told that the flowers will be delivered on that day. Here it is Saturday the 7th and still not delivered. I called customer service and they said that the delivery will now be on the 9th. I will never use Avas Flowers ever again. I suggest future customers to go elsewhere. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Avas. If it wasn't for my mother's birthday I would have canceled the order. Very angry

I am so incredibly disappointed with this flower shop. I do not recommend anyone buy flowers from here. First, the flowers we ordered was a medium bouquet for $44.99 with a free delivery special. At the checkout a $24.95 service fee was added. I was a bit upset at this hidden price, but decided to buy them anyway. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a little girl who just had mouth surgery from my son whom I’m trying to teach to be a respectable young man. I ordered them a week in advance to assure that they would arrive on a specific day to brighten her day. The afternoon of the day they were supposed to arrive I received a call explaining that the flowers weren’t delivered because they couldn’t find the house.
They asked me to verify the address. Not only was the address I gave correct, but I googled the address while I was on the phone. The first thing that popped up was the house on Zillow from the last time it was on the market with a clear image of the address above the garage door. Then while she was still on the phone I used Google maps to make sure I didn’t just get lucky. Again no issues finding the house.
Then she proceeded to tell me that they tried to call the number I gave and no one answered. They actually only left a text and nothing further. Then since it was almost evening and they didn’t deliver the flowers, the little girl had to go to her dad's, so they were directed to try to deliver the flowers to her dad's house. As far as I know, the little girl won’t be getting flowers today. My son is heart broke that he couldn’t get his girlfriend something beautiful to brighten her terrible and scary day.

I paid 97$ for same day delivery of 12 roses with a vase. I did so with the understanding that the flowers would be delivered on that day. They notified me that it wasn't going to get delivered that day. They also informed me the flowers I chose were not an option.... An hour later I told them I needed the order canceled because the person receiving the flowers wasn't going to be there for 5 days and this wouldn't be an issue had they kept their delivery date as ordered. They refused to give me a refund and said I wasn't able to cancel and the flowers were going to be delivered. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I will never ever order from Avas again and do not recommend anyone use them. They are absolutely awful and if you call them you'll be on hold for half an hour before a person answers with a thick accent that you can barely understand their English. So so so disappointed in this company. 0/10 do not recommend.

I have sent many floral arrangements over the years and this has been the worst experience by far. First of all the quality of the arrangement my daughter in law received was very poor and was an embarrassment to me. They also did not deliver the balloons I ordered with the flowers. I spent 2 days trying to communicate my concerns with customer service. I was finally told they would redeliver a new bouquet of flowers with the balloons I had paid for. You can't talk directly with the floral shop and their customer service is very hard to communicate with.
I sent several emails requesting an update on the 2nd set of flowers they were supposed to send. Finally they called my son who was taking care of his sick wife, and rudely told him they would not be delivering any more flowers. That was very disheartening and unacceptable. They then called me, hung up when I answered, and left a message that they would reimburse me for the balloons. I tried several times again to call them but line kept disconnecting. I will never order from this company again.

A nightmare. Ordered flowers and was told to choose something different because they no longer offered first option. Cancelled first action and reordered but then was told I could have the first option! Said they would refund me for the 2nd and give me the first with a 20% discount. Flowers sent but was a pathetic order of flowers some damaged. On top of that I still have charges on my credit card for both orders. There is absolutely no customer service. When I finally reached someone she started playing let’s make a deal with the refunds! In a dispute now through my credit card company. I admit I got frustrated with the so called customer service agent after going back and forth about the refund… I was so confused… Instead of continuing she hung up on me!!!

I am disgusted with Avas Flowers and mad at myself too. I normally read reviews before buying but the one time I didn't it got me. I ordered flowers for my daughter's 31st birthday and they were never delivered. All of the so called customer service they say they have is a joke. Avas Flowers is ripping people off!! Unfortunately I had to order flowers for a long time employee of our company that had passed away recently and when I went online to find one in the small town he was from, Avas Flowers misrepresented themselves as a local family-owned florist in the area. I ordered the largest most expensive Sympathy Spray they had because this was very important to show the family our sincere condolences for their loss. When we arrived at the service we were so disappointed at what we saw. The arrangement was nothing like the picture and looked thrown together and not the correct color/size. I guess they count on if you order online, you will never see the actual product. I will never order from again and recommend anyone else to make a different choice.

I ordered flowers this morning via internet, I searched for florist in the area I was sending to. This IS NOT a local company. The flowers were for a dying relative. They don't disclose a $40 fee until the end. Within an hour I received 2 text "URGENT" Information needed. 2 emails and 2 calls saying they needed additional information. I called back and got automated system recording. Told wait time could be 30 minutes. When a rep came on she wants to update my phone number, then my email, then my address. I told her she was wasting my time that they had emailed and texted twice in the last hour. I said, "I just need you to tell me what YOU need." She began again...
I hung up and went to the website where it told me orders could be canceled up to 24hrs. Since it's been 3 hours I put in everything needed to cancel and the system said my order was not cancellable. I doubt anything will be deliver based on other reviews but I will contact my credit card issuer. If I had 30 mins to listen to a customer service rep on the phone I'd have just called. I don't have 30 mins at work to do so. That's why I ordered online. I'm pretty sure this is a internet scam company.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my niece’s birthday. I searched local florists in Virginia Beach VA. Website led me to believe it was a family owned business of 30 years. It was $60 for the arrangement. When I got the invoice I was charged $40 for delivery fees and tax. It was delivered to my niece by Door dash a day late and the arrangement was from a local grocery store. It was tiny,, maybe worth about $20. I called to complain and was told they would send another arrangement which didn’t happen and I have tried countless phone calls and conveniently get disconnected every time. They ripped me off for $100!! Do not order from these scammers!!!!

Initially saw the 20,000+ reviews & felt this was a reputable flower shop. I placed my order for flowers to be sent to my daughter in Lake Lure, NC. It was listed under Lake Lure so I thought they were local. Oct 2, 2023 I receive an email stating the flowers I wanted were unavailable & I needed to call. TWICE I called and TWICE customer service STRONGLY INSISTED I had to be transferred to another dept to get help with my order…no answer… closed. At this point, not sure what to expect. These people should be reported and not be allowed to scam people. I’m praying the delivery will take place, be on time and look beautiful… as shown in the picture. Otherwise, I’ll be filing a dispute for a refund!

I went online. Picked out pink roses 2 dozen paid for next day service. The same day they text me to call them. They had no pink roses. No next day. 200$ Avas. This was September 24/23. It's September 28. I've never got them. I asked for refund they said it would be 50$ and 5/7 days before I could even get my money back. Pease don't use these people. Horrible experience to say the least! I tried to surprise my wife on our 44th anniversary which I'm not a flower guy overall but thought it would be nice this time around. The flowers were $39 (no problem with that) but the fees pile up. They charged $25 svc fee plus $5 for the card then $10 to ship. If you wanted it to get there no later than 2 pm that's $10 more. The flowers are no longer a surprise cause she heard me yelling on the phone for the flowers at 2;20 pm. Well the flowers came at 7;30 pm & the card which was $5 turned out to be a wrinkled folded copy paper not card. NEVER AGAIN will I use Avas Flowers. The rep on the phone did refund the $10 guarantied window time & was very nice but overall a horrible experience!!

I ordered online the "Luxury grade " bouquet to be delivered to my aunt for a very special occasion. There were 4 choices and I chose the most expensive one that came to $100.00. What she actually received was embarrassing! I could have made a nicer bouquet. It was just a few flowers with greenery in the middle. Not even shaped like a flower arrangement. It was so hard to contact them, one customer service agent told me to email in a picture and gave me a email address that did not accept emails. And money back guarantee? NOPE. I barely got 50% back.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to a relative who lost her husband. Day of delivery I get a notice they can't deliver that arrangement but can do something else in 2 days time, I called them and said the funeral was today and I needed something today, the call center lady put me on hold for a while, came back and said she had spoken with the local florist who could put together something similar and deliver today. I said fine, anything at this point that could be delivered today, a few hours later I get another notification saying they cannot deliver flowers today but here are some alternatives (I wanted white anything), they offered roses or sunflowers) to be delivered in 2 days so I just cancelled the whole order, horrific customer service, they need to go out of business, not sure at this point if they even sell flowers.

My husband ordered the large Enchantment bouquet, along with chocolates and a card at an additional cost for our wedding anniversary. He opted to upgrade to the large/deluxe version of the bouquet, and ended up spending $160 on the order. To start, I did not receive the chocolates or the card. The flowers themselves look very different from the photo; it's missing a whole type of the pink flower pictured, it's a different vase, and it was a very small bouquet, certainly NOT the large bouquet that he paid extra for.
*The photo I'm attaching from their website shows the medium bouquet; we ordered the large bouquet, which of course should have been even bigger than the one shown.* The flowers I received are basically on par with bouquets I've purchased from Walmart for $20. Granted, those don't come with the vase, so I'll say these were probably worth about $30 total between flowers and vase. The chocolates for an extra $17.99 were not delivered, nor was the greeting card for an extra $4.99. Instead, I got the piece of paper stuck in the bouquet that I've received in every order of flowers that I've ever received, which they always include with a message at my no additional charge. It definitely was not the cute card in an envelope pictured on their website.
My husband was extremely upset and embarrassed, and he immediately called the company. Besides having to repeat the list of issues with this order multiple times because the representative either wasn't listening or didn't care (or both), they ultimately did NOTHING to resolve the issue. They said they'd refund us for the chocolates, and that was it. My husband refused this offer, as he was not willing to pay that much money for an order that we really did not receive, as they did not send the flowers from the photos online, the chocolates, OR the card. The woman told us she would submit a replacement order to include the large Enchantment bouquet, chocolates, and card. We were satisfied with this option, and accepted. However, I have not yet received anything.
I decided to call back today myself, and it turns out, no replacement order was ever submitted. One HUGE red flag for me was when I asked the woman what the physical address is for the location that made my arrangement, and she told me she was not allowed to provide that information. What?!?! This is a business that refuses to provide you with any contact information beyond a third party phone number?! It makes more sense after reading all of the horrible reviews but that is ridiculous to me. Once again, I was told that they will be sending the full order to me by this Monday, and that they would send it to a different location to fulfill this time. I asked to have my call escalated as I really don't want to have to call back a third time about this, but I was once again refused. So now we wait to see if the order actually arrives on Monday as promised, but I'm 99.9% sure it's not coming, and we're going to be calling them again next week.
Please do yourself a favor and NEVER order anything from this scam artist company. I've had an issue only 1 time in the past with another reputable florist, and they immediately corrected the problem with their apologies, but not Avas Flowers! They don't care, and they aren't going to do anything besides steal your money and hope that you'll eventually just go away. That's not happening this time, Avas Flowers. Your company frankly ripped us off, and we will be receiving either the actual order my husband placed or a full refund, and we will NEVER order from your company again. I'm happy to post about this on as many company review sites and social media outlets as possible in hopes that other people will think twice before using your company for anything. Absolutely the worst flower purchasing experience even possible! Ordered a basket which was to be the large size of a basket with both flowers and green plants for a gravely I'll family member. When received, recipient sent a picture with their thanks. It was nothing more than a small fern shoved in a basket! It was hideous! I was embarrassed beyond belief. I called to complain amd was told order had been filled as required. I threw a fit and offered them a picture of what was received.
Customer Service sent me an email I could reply to with a picture. When he saw it he said he "100% agreed" that it was a complete fail. I was told a suitable replacement would go out the same day (Friday) or the next day at the latest. I received word that my family member was being released early on that following day so called again (held 33 minutes on first day!). I was told it could not be sent until the following Tuesday! I literally screamed demanding a refund at that point. The day before, I was offered a 15% refund which I declined as I explained I was Embarrassed at the quality of my gift and what was sent was so substandard 15% was less than it was worth. I did get a refund after being loudly insistent. I wish I could post pictures of what I ordered and what I got. Horrible company!! RUN!!

First of all Avas Flowers is not a flower shop. They will take your order and then send it to different flower shops hoping someone will take order. Remind you they already charged you double the price of what the flowers really cost. I ordered same day delivery last week and still haven’t received it so I canceled my order and asked for a full refund. Do not. I repeat do not order from these people. Only order from a local company in your area. These people tried to make me take something that I didn’t order and still wasn’t on time or even delivered.

WOW, I desperately wish I had seen this page BEFORE dealing with Avas Flowers! The similarity in these complaints is outrageous. Initial order was made September 19, 2023, for Same Day Delivery. Email contact from Avas indicated delivery was completed on the 20th. The intended recipient, said Avas contacted her on Sept 21 and asked if she was pleased with her flowers. She advised she had never received any flowers. I contacted Avas. They showed me the flowers had been delivered. Since the local delivered insisted the delivery was made, Avas refused to Resend or Refund. I reached out to Avas both online and on the phone. Phone calls either went unanswered, or I was put on Ignore (aka, Hold). The rep did not return and 3 of my 4 calls timed out and I was surreptitiously disconnected. $85 order was "compensated" with $21. Never again.

We ordered an arrangement for a friend who lost her father. What I ordered was not delivered, and it was delivered two days late! When I spoke to the company representative they stated the "designer " could not finish the arrangement the day it was to be delivered. I ordered flowers from what I thought was a local Sussex County, NJ florist. What I got instead was some internet company with customer service Ava's Flowers states that they are a family-owned company who pride themselves on customer service. There was no customer service. My flowers were never delivered, although they continued to tell me that they were. Nor would they tell me the name of the local florist shop they were dealing with. You can't get through to anyone on the phone without waiting at least 10 minutes. Totally disappointed ... in their service. I eventually cancelled my order and got a refund.

Do not order from this company. I ordered flowers on a Friday or deliver to a funeral home on Sunday. I requested delivery confirmation. I did not receive any confirmation on Sunday. There was no one to speak with so I called early Monday morning, 9am. The funeral was at 10am on that same day. This is why I wanted them delivered on the Sunday before. After a ton of hassle with customer service I was "assured" that the delivery would take place in the next 45 min to get to the service in time. I was then told that they did not deliver the flowers on the requested day because they wanted to ensure the "freshness" of the flowers. One day is not going to make a difference and I requested them on that specific day for a reason. Eventually, they did refund me $20 and I still am not sure the flowers made it. It seems that this is the practice of this business and I will not be using them again for any type of service.

I made an online purchase of flowers for a funeral for one of my employees. This employee also was a lifelong friend. I spent $185 with this company. With such a steep price - I assumed the arrangement would be extremely nice. I was so embarrassed when I arrived and saw this tiny arrangement sitting on the guest book table! I would not recommend the company to anyone and they should be embarrassed with the service provided - especially for a funeral! Never again.

The flowers I ordered for my friend's birthday were listed as 4999 or some such thing. With free delivery. But apparently they had nothing but the “large” option available. Then I get a service fee that’s on top of the flowers of over $25. The entire thing with free delivery cost $102. The only saving grace is, the flowers were in fact beautiful and my best friend love them.

My order did not look anything like what I ordered - wrong flowers, colors, etc. I even upgraded to LG and it was smaller than picture shown on site. They had nerve to call recipient to ask if they were happy. Of course they were. I could have sent a single rose and they would have been happy. They wanted to just give me half of what I paid cause recipient was happy. Recipient did not order or pay. They told me if I got full refund they would go and collect the order. How rude would that have been. I was stuck getting a partial. There was specific reason I order what I did. It would have meant a lot more than just some white flowers with daisies. Which were not even in the picture. This was my first time using them and I will not be doing business with them again. I wish I could show side by side.

I recently order what I thought was a beautiful Artisan Arrangement Pink & White Peonies arrangement for my Aunt who was turning 90 from Avas Flowers. The image showed a full bouquet of peonies & white flowers with filling foliage. I received an email & text stating "there has been a change in the availability of the exact item that I ordered". I returned their call and they assured me that the replacement would be equal to it not better than what I originally chose. When arriving at my Aunt's house, I saw the order and was mortified at what they send in the place of the original order. She received one dozen of Tye-Dye Roses with no other filler. That was equal to or better. Oh, and by the way they only refunded $22.50 for an arrangement that was close to $100.00. NEVER, EVER, WILL I USED AVAS FLOWERS AGAIN!! Buyers beware!!

On a Thursday ordered flowers for a funeral to be delivered on Saturday. On Friday afternoon Ava's Flowers called and said that they would deliver them to the home on Monday. I said, "No, I want them at the funeral". They put me on hold several times and insisted they could not deliver them and would give me a discount to deliver to the home on Monday. I felt like I was talking to the wall. He would never say why they couldn't deliver them. I finally said to cancel my order and refund my money. He said that his supervisor would call me back and she never did. I will never use these people again.

If I could, I would rate Avas Flowers 0 stars. I tried to search for a local florist in the Huntsville, AL area, but didn't realize that Avas flowers is a national scam "business". The first thing that should have alerted me to not place my order was the $25 processing fee that they stealthily inserted at the very end when finalizing the payment for the order. Second, the product I purchased was a no-show for the birthday recipient. Since you can't easily engage with a customer service agent, I will have to dispute the credit card charge for a product not received. Thanks for nothing Avas flowers!

However, when the flowers arrived. The arrangement was also very messy and didn't look like the picture on the website. I'm very disappointed with the service I received, and I would not recommend this flower shop to anyone.

I ordered a floral arrangement for a commemoration service for my aunt when her husband died. They were to be sent to the Church where the service was being held in Knoxville, TN. I placed the order online and received confirmation of the order in an email with a delivery date of 9 Sept for a 10 Sept Service. Good thing I checked with my sister on 11 September as she told me she did not see the foral arrangement at the service. When I contacted AVAS on the 11th they admited there was an error and they did not deliver the arrangement. I suspect they would have done noting and kept my payment had I not contacted them.

I purchased flowers on Avasflowers.net. When I received my invoice in my email, I saw they had added a service fee of over $28. I would never pay that kind of fee, so I tried to cancel it. When I called, they had a message saying it was a holiday. This is not a holiday. I tried to cancel it with the chat bot. They said my order did not exist. When I went on their website to cancel, it said I can’t because it’s a same day order. I tried to cancel it immediately after I ordered. I’m so upset because I did not know about this fee, and I do not want to do business with these people. And I cannot get ahold of any person. I feel like I have been totally scammed.

I ordered sympathy flowers for family who lived across the country who had tragically lost a family member. When I searched for a "local" florist in their town, AVAS was listed and looked like a local place. They were the only florist that claimed to have next day delivery, and I was ok paying more for this. The total was $207 after all the weird fees they tacked on for a large bouquet. I got a delivery confirmation the next day, but the flowers were never delivered. I called customer service, and after being "disconnected" 4 times, they told me they'd research it and call me the next day. They never called. I called again, the new customer service rep told me they'd deliver them on Monday...3 more days later. I said no and asked to cancel and refund.
They offered me a $15 discount if I went thru with the order. I told her no, I wanted a refund, then she offered me a $20 discount. She pleaded with me to reconsider. I said NO. I told her if she didn't give me a refund I was charging this back on my Amex card. She said she issued the refund, but I have yet to receive it. This place is a scam. Read the reviews. They don't deliver, they aren't local, it's a total sham. Go with an actual reputable florist, this place isn't it.

Somehow Avasflowers.net was connected to the obituary of my relative. The flowers were never received. PER Anj today, the flowers were delivered to the church at 5 p.m. for an 11:00 a.m funeral service. She cannot give me the name of the florist who made the flowers or any other delivery information. She says an executive supervisor should call me back within an hour. I have now read other business review sites and see many others have similar experiences. My order totaled $151.82 billed NEWARK NJ on 8/18/2023. Based on my experience, do not order from Avasflowers. Read the Better Business Review and other review sites.

The website says same day delivery and free delivery, I wanted to make sure I got same day deliver so I called the phone listed, waited, and talked to a person at 10am. I ordered the Floral Harmony Bouquet and was assured it would be delivered same day, this was yesterday. I received an email about 2 o'clock saying that they couldn't get arrangement that day so they would send it the next. I called and asked for them to send an equivalent arrangement and named a couple that were the same price. Still nothing was delivered until today and then it wasn't anywhere close to the same arrangement, it didn't have any of the same flowers and was about 1/4 the size of the one I picked out. VERY VERY Disappointing, especially for how much money they charge.

If I could, I'd give this company a -0. I ordered flowers for a loved one’s memorial service on August 31st at 1:15 PM for same-day delivery. I was told they would be delivered before 5 PM that day, and I informed them that the service was on September 1st at 11 AM. They said the flowers would be delivered before 5 PM on August 31st. I didn't receive a confirmation email, so I went to the website and got the conformation number. Around 3 PM, when I still had not received the email I called them and they assured me the flowers were still scheduled to be delivered that morning before the service, they were not.
The next morning I checked the website and there was no update. I called Avas around 7 AM and was told the order would be delivered before the service, and that they would call the florist at 8:30 AM to get an ETA. I again reminded them of the service time. A little after 9 AM I called them again and was told the florist didn’t answer. The representative said the florist was probably out delivering the flowers. At 10:30 AM, I checked the website and there was no update. Again, they said the florist was not answering and the flowers were out for delivery. I asked for the phone number and name of the florist so I could contact them directly and was told they couldn't give me this info. I ended up attending the service with no flowers.
After the service, I called them again explain what happened and they acted like they could not hear me. At 7:26 PM on September 1st, I receive a text message that the flowers were delivered. Not sure how they would deliver because the funeral home closed at 5pm. I called the funeral home after the service to see if the flowers had been delivered late and was told there was no delivery. I told them to refuse the order if it came in. I checked my cc transactions and the charge was still pending.
On September 2nd, I informed them the order was not delivered and that the funeral home confirmed this. I asked them to refund my money, and received the same response as before, which was them saying they could not hear me. I’m working with the cc company to get my $156 refunded. Please save yourself the trouble by not ordering from these heartless, insensitive scammers. The internet says they are the number one company— do not believe it. Please read the reviews on Yelp and BBB’s website instead of the ones on their site because they don't post negative reviews.

Do not order flowers from the website Avas Flowers. I ordered on the 25th for the floral arrangement option Of the Sweet Surprises Bouquet for my best friend's birthday, I entered her address and it was available to deliver to... Also, I selected a large boutique option, which came to $74.99. The total cost of the order and delivery came to $99.94. Not only did they not deliver on the date I selected they said I approved 12 red roses with no vase instead of my original order, this is not true. I thought they were also sending the 12 red roses because of the inconvenience of not receiving my order on the date I selected, which also showed on their website that it was available to be delivered on that date. No way did I switch my order to 12 roses with no vase and plain as it could possibly be for a total cost and delivery for $99.94.
While talking to their customer representative they told me that they did not have a florist in the area and that the flowers came from their headquarters. You would think if it was coming from their headquarters they would have an endless amount of flowers to deliver, right??? Also, I asked personally if they would order 12 red roses with no vase for $99.94? He paused for a couple seconds and he replied, "No I would not." The customer representative said, "I'm so sorry that we did not fulfill the order that you requested, would it be okay if we sent you a $10 refund" and I said, "No I would not be okay with a $10 refund." He said, "OK what about a $20 refund" and I said no and then he finally said, "Well your only option is to approve $30 refund" and that was my only option and I said, "I don't approve of this but if $30 dallors is my only option, I guess I'll take it. I guess it's better than nothing."
So I ended up paying $74.00 for 12 roses with no vase that are just as good as getting them at Walmart or Safeway. If they were unable to send the boutique of flowers that I selected on their website it should have shown up as UNAVAILABLE. When it clearly stated it was. I'm uploading 2 pictures which are the flowers I ordered and the ones my friend received. Please do not order from this website they totally ripped me off, And I'm thinking I'm not the only one that they have done this to so do not order from Avas Flowers website.

The two orders I placed in the morning were never delivered yet I was still charged. Extremely frustrating. Getting through to a live person to check on the orders is nearly impossible. There is no way to contact the florist responsible for the orders in the delivery area either as Avas is not truly a "florist". They are the online service only, and the only option is to use their website to attempt tracking updates for your order. If you try to contact them, the automated service hangs up on you saying it will send an update when details are available (meaning via text or email), or (if you're not hung up on) you will have to run through a circle-jerk of prompts to get to a live person where you will be placed on lengthy hold times.
Absolutely TERRIBLE system and service, especially for all the service fees they charge. I am having to resort to contacting my bank for my refund because Avas has not credited me back. For a small basket consisting of a plant and flowers was $104 for each individual basket with delivery. Therefore, I should be refunded $208.

Following her mother's death, I sent my girlfriend a large bouquet of flowers with a comforting message to be included. Flowers arrived from SAFEWAY with the WRONG MESSAGE card. She had no idea they were from me or what my sentiments were. Customer service refunded me only $20 of my much larger bill. I ordered a large size of the Floral Harmony Bouquet from Avas Flowers. Gave them 48 hours to deliver. On the day of delivery the recipient had not received them by end of day. Avas' customer service said they would email me a picture of the delivery and who signed for them. I never received it. They did finally receive flowers the next day. But they didn't look anything like the picture on their website. Instead of a large full bouquet of flowers, they received a smaller bouquet with a much smaller amount of flowers and about 30% of the arrangement was leafy green "stuffers/fill ins". There was hardly any leafy in the website's example. Yes, I read the disclaimer about possibility of having to substitute flowers for what was on hand but it wasn't even close. If a picture of what they sent had been on their website I would never have chosen to send it. Very disappointed. Will not use them again. Wrong way to get repeat business and spread referrals.

I submitted my order online to be delivered next day for my anniversary. I ordered 2 of their biggest arrangements wanting that wow factor spending $350... They call me the next morning and say they don't have red roses! But they could substitute. I said no I'd prefer red roses and they left me on hold for 10 min before saying they could accommodate. Then I get another message saying it couldn't be delivered today. So I called back and they said nvm we can make it happen. Then I get another message saying it won't be delivered till next week! I said no that's unacceptable my anniversary is today! They apologized and I asked for a refund! They agreed after keeping me on hold for another 30 min!! I'd have given a ZERO star if available. I placed two orders for a total of almost $300 to my wife (wedding anniversary) and our daughter (house welcoming) in the morning of Thursday Aug. 24th (#** and #**) with delivery date of Friday Aug. 25th. My credit card was charged shortly after orders were placed. I went online that afternoon to change the delivery from Friday Aug 25th to today/Saturday Aug 26th. I received text messages and emails confirming the delivery date change was approved. I received two text messages and emails in the evening of Friday Aug 25th stating both order were delivered except no one at the house has seen nor received either order. I filled out multiple disputes of delivery online but continued to receive just only automated email messages stating orders were delivered.
I called their service center FIVE times with the first four calls continued to be disconnected. Finally, an agent (Jess) got on the 5th call and still saw in their system that both orders were delivered. Your agent tried to get the hold of the local florist that supposedly delivered both orders but couldn't get a hold of anyone. She then told me that she'll continue to track then provide updates later today. As of 12pm CT today Saturday Aug 26th, neither order has been delivered and we still don't know of any status.
My observations:This is a scamming business
Their operation doesn't support the customer's simple requirement of delivery date.
Their system provides false status of delivery.
Customer doesn't get a REAL and HONEST update when needed? SAVE YOURSELVES MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

My mother was just fighting for her life 2 weeks ago. I made the mistake of ordering flowers for her from Avas Flowers to let her know she is loved and that I'm here for her. Avas Flowers told me the flowers would be delivered between 2pm-4pm the next day. Instead, I got a phone call from Avas Flowers after 4pm saying that the flowers weren't available. They didn't even know about the balloon I bought. The customer service rep (Marie) didn't speak good enough English to understand her, then decided to hang up on me for no reason. I never cussed at her, never called her out her name (I wanted to) and I spoke to her respectfully. I still got hung up on. I dare anybody that's going through hard times to deal with these people and stay as calm as I did. I dare you! For me, my family and followers....Never again! I'd just assume picking flowers from a garden to send out before ever buying from them again. In God’s name!!!!

My close friend lost her husband last week and I wanted to send her a lily plant. I ordered the plant on 8/18. The first plant arrived with yellow leaves that were falling off. The second plant also arrived in the same condition. When I called, they insisted that they could give me $20 back because it was past 48 hours since the plant arrived. I truly think that my friend was not thinking of the dead plant since her husband of 50 years had just died. First, they offered me $20 which I forcefully refused. Then they were giving me 50% back which I also refused. They then agreed to send a new one the next day. Next day, I get a text that it is delayed. After a very loud and angry phone call on my part, I was able to get my money back. Save your time and trouble and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I ordered flowers early August for a friend who just underwent a major surgery. 3wks later flowers never arrived. Called and they promised to deliver immediately. 7days later and the order has never been fulfilled. Horrible customer service as they keep lying the flowers are out for delivery and will be delivered latest 7pm for 3days I was patient. Advise is, do NOT order from Avas. I had to dispute with bank for non-delivery.

At 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20, I ordered a floral arrangement for my son's girlfriend on his behalf. She was starting law school on Monday, and he asked if I would place the order for Sunday flower delivery as he was out of the country. I did, through Avas, as they claimed SAME DAY delivery. They charged me 29.99 for a SERVICE fee and 9.99 for delivery on top of the flowers and tax! The total bill was $89 for the cheapest arrangement!!! I was willing to pay this for the rushed service. I then received an email that the flowers would be delivered on Monday, Aug. 21. Within 20 minutes of that email, I called to cancel and actually had to FIGHT over the phone for the cancellation! The person on the phone said they needed to speak to my son as the flowers were technically from him, even though they were billed to my credit card.
The woman wanted personal details about why my son was not on the phone. She INSISTED on Monday delivery, when I explained to her multiple times that that was TOOOOO late and NO ONE would be home to answer the door. She talked over me and insisted there were NO refunds. She finally gave in after my blood pressure was through the roof. RIDICULOUS! Their website needs to say NO SUNDAY DELIVERIES! They also need to forewarn customers of their exorbitant service fees! What a waste of time.

If you are deciding which company to call to deliver flowers, stay away from Avas Flowers. I ordered and expensive arrangement to new parents to be delivered same day in the hospital. After the order was confirmed - paying extra for a larger arrangement and balloons, I got a message to call them back as the delivery could not be made that day. I wanted to cancel as the point was to receive in the hospital. After much back and forth and a discount for the inconvenience, they said they would deliver next day. After numerous email and calls the flowers were delivered 4 days later and no balloons. In call to customer service to complain, I was told this was relayed to me when rescheduled. It was not. the point is - go elsewhere if you want what you pay for. Very poor experience with Avas Flowers.

Ava's Flowers has a contract with a local florist in our town of Summerville, SC. I suppose with some research I could figure out who. Anyway, I was home all day, the flowers were delivered and left on my front porch all day on August 8, 2023. My doorbell was not rung and no one knocked. It was a heat index of over 105 degrees. The only reason I know the flowers were outside all day is because the gift giver called me around 6:00 pm saying that he was surprised I hadn't thanked him for the flowers. He'd received a text before noon saying they were delivered.
Well, I wish Ava's delivery person had knocked or rang the bell. So, the flowers looked bad and wilted, and the next morning they were all dying. The water they arrived in had turned foggy green overnight and had begun to stink with rotting stems and then I realized another 10 or so were cut so short they weren't even in the water! I changed the water right away, and yes, definitely stinking and rotting; the new water was immediately fogged up with the greenish foggy color.
Now the gifter had messaged Ava's flowers the day of the delivery saying how unhappy he was that my doorbell wasn't rung, and how he was extremely unhappy about the condition of the bouquet. But Ava would only offer a discount of $10.00 off the $128.00 price. This is because he actually CALLED them after 48 hours, which is their cutoff for handling complaints, he didn't know that and the online complaint directly to them on the delivery day didn't meet their policy. Not that it matters to them, but they've lost this customer. Ava's lack of customer commitment and the failure of their contracted florist left a very bad memory for a 40th anniversary.

At the end of July, I purchased a Florida arrangement from Avas Flowers selection. I double checked to see if they delivered to a city in Texas, which they did. I made the delivery to be made in early August for a person’s birthday. I found out that the floral arrangement was not delivered on time. Therefore, I contacted the company to resolve the matter. I was assured the floral arrangement would be delivered even though they would be late and after the person’s birthday. I also asked the Customer Service if this was an arrangement being delivered by UPS (which is weird they would deliver arrangements).
I was assured that, it would be an arrangement and the company uses them when arrangements aren’t processed from a florist inside the town. Today when I open the tracking and saw the photo of the delivery, I saw a long box which tells me it was a box of flowers with a vase. And not the arrangement that I saw on Avas Flowers' website. I will never order from this company again and I highly recommend for anyone to avoid this service to order unless you just want a box of flowers and do your own arrangement.
I am thoroughly disappointed in the product on their website and what it shows you that you’re gonna get and you do not get. I will say the customer service was very friendly over the phone even after speaking to three different people and getting disconnected once, which to me it appears very deceptive and what their company represents. Now that I see the photo of the actual delivery, I believe his company does not represent what it shows on their website. So if you want to have an arrangement of flowers in a vase or basket or whatever don’t use this company, it is false advertising and they do not deliver what you order. I would recommend looking up for a local florist in the city of the person receiving the floor arrangement and call them directly to order from them. That’s what I’m going to do in the future.

Flowered we’re ordered, my credit card was charged $60 plus a $25 service fee, and the flowers were not delivered. Avis made it impossible to get out of the phone loop to connect with customer service. Almost week later and hours of dealing with the problem, the problem is still not resolved. I bought some flowers through Avas Flowers and paid extra for the "Rush" delivery which said the flowers would arrive same day be 2pm. The flowers did not arrive by 2pm. I tried several times to contact the customer service for an update and every time was given the run around and nobody could confirm the delivery status. Eventually at 4pm I called customer service for an update, the first rep hung up on me and when I called again and asked them to cancel the order they left me on hold for over 30 minutes. So no flowers and no refund!

I ordered a whole week before the funeral with a delivery day a day before the funeral. They never contacted me to let me know they couldn’t fill my order or allow me the opportunity to order from someone else. I go through Avas everytime I get my girlfriend flowers. The only time we received mediocre flowers was on Valentine's day, but with everyone ordering I assume that is to be expected. Received a bouquet of flowers for my birthday (large sweet surprise bouquet which only included 6 pink roses daisies and carnations (money was not worth what I got) - the roses were already in full bloom. I spent over $100 to order their LARGEST arrangement that they offered--- for a business associate success. AVAS FLOWERS sent the SMALLEST, PUNIEST flower "arrangement", even though I ordered their "GRANDE" size (which was two sizes bigger than there their standard size). A $12 grocery store flower pack in a Dollar Tree vase would have been much larger and nicer. THEN Avas warned me in writing AFTER I checked out and AFTER I PAID that the delivery could be as late as 7pm...to a BUSINESS.
Lastly, when I called to complain, some non-U.S. "customer service" rep told me that the flowers were delivered, I said OBVIOUSLY they sent the SMALL arrangement instead of the ordered GRANDE size. They said no, they delivered what I ordered. MISREPRESENTATION! I said come pick them up and refund my money. I will dispute it with my credit card bank and will NEVER use Avas again... AND I will tell everyone of my opinion that they are the WORST flower company I ever used. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

I ordered a gorgeous bouquet of Get Well soon flowers in cobalt blue vase for my cousin, for $88. Then I received message they were going to switch vases to clear one with blue ribbon. The day of delivery I found out that they were sending Safeway flowers via DoorDash. My cousin didn't even get the flowers. Plus Safeway and DoorDash do not charge $88!!! I did get a refund but in the strongest language possible do not purchase flowers from Avas flowers. They're a bait and switch company who should be brought up on charges for fraud.

Order was placed on July 20, 2023. The arrangement was for my mother's funeral on July 29th. The customer service agent I spoke with assured me that orders for Funerals were top priority and that the order would be delivered to the church by 11a.m.. I told the agent that I needed the order at the church by 1p.m., Again I was assured of guaranteed delivery within that time frame. Pete, that there was another order from a family friend that was told the same as to delivery time. So, needless to say I was heartbroken and very upset, the flower arrangements did not arrive until 4 hours later and my mother's funeral service had ended. The delivery person quickly left from the parking lot after a number of the Church received the flowers and offered no apology or reason for the 4 hours late delivery.
I reached out to Avas Flowers and after a very stern voice of my dissatisfaction, the agent said they would give me $15 to $20 refund. I very sternly told the agent that was unacceptable and to have the floral shop that was used to come get the flowers, but other than that I wanted a full refund as to the fact I was told top priority for funerals and a guaranteed delivery time. After further discussion with a person of a management position, I was sincerely apologized to and given a full refund. The flower arrangement was.

I ordered a big beautiful basket for my nephew’s memorial service. Ava’s called me every day to verify order and did say they were out of baskets and wanted to put it in a vase. I was assured on 2 different calls the colors would all be the same and the amount of flowers would too. I was ok with that as long as it was same. What was sent was a smaller vase with some white roses and no pastel flowers or same amount of them. The label had a Safeway florist on it. I was livid! Don’t use this company. I was offered $20 back and it’s not about the money. It was $160 that I put out and they ruined what I wanted for the memorial service.

I ordered a beautiful lavender floral arrangement to be sent to my daughter-in-law on July 22. What was sent was a generic glass vase with flowers. None of which were even purple or violet. No lavender to be found! I talked to a couple of people in their customer service department, the first gentleman had a foreign accent and wanted to give me $100 gift certificate at a restaurant but he wanted my credit card number and to charge me $4.95 first. I refused. I texted and emailed and got nowhere. That was Saturday. Today’s Tuesday, I spoke with someone who is going to refund me $20. The whole bill was close to $89. Very disappointed. Will no longer use this service. I hope my experience keeps you from using this service also.

Then, AFTER you have given them your financial information, you are taken to a new checkout page where they have added on 34.00 'service charge'. So that arrangement that was 54.00 is now 86. Received a callback and was told they did not have all the flowers in the arrangement I ordered, I requested my money back and was then offered 5 dollars credit, which I said no to. Was put on hold the lady came back and told me she found a different florist that had all the flowers, I agreed to keep the order. Don't take any chances with this lousy company. Although the customer service was very friendly they lied to me. I was assured, I was guaranteed that the flowers would be there on time they had three days to deliver this. They must have called me seven or eight times within the three days that my Arrangement was to be delivered to a funeral. First they couldn't deliver it to the funeral home then they were supposed to deliver it to the family home or the church. The arrangement was not delivered. They called me after the funeral and asked me if they can deliver it tomorrow and what time the funeral starts!!! I'm so hurt and disappointed, as I live out of town and this arrangement and my card were supposed to be at the funeral but was not.
Already frustrated and hurt and angry and this just added to the pain. I allowed them to substitute the standing flowers for a plant and they still didn't deliver. And yes I did research and read reviews for this company before ordering. The good reviews must be made up. I do not recommend this company. If this is important to you you better find another florist.

Ordered a vase of flowers with get well balloons to be delivered to a hospital. They sent me confirmation that my order has been delivered. Not once did they mention there was an issue, I asked the family what was delivered and come to find out. They only deliver the vase of flowers. Nothing else was included that I purchased, so I waited two days to see if they would contact me. Of course no integrity and honesty. No one contacted me so if I did not go and ask what was delivered with pictures, I would’ve never known and I’m sure there are numerous of people that have placed orders, thinking their full order was delivered. If they didn’t check, they would never know how dishonest this company is.
I called and spoke to a supervisor by the name of Patricia, rude as can be. Tells me, "Oh, it’s just balloons we missed." Inconsiderate and should never be in customer service, she then proceeds to tell me, "Oh well, if you’re not happy with your order because we missed some stuff we can go and pick it back up." At that point I was done speaking with her and I told her to have a great day and hung up. After I hung up I got a text that they refunded me the other items from my balloons and stuff that that was not delivered. They are completely missing the point of what a company for delivery is supposed to be doing and what honesty and integrity is. I would recommend no one to order from a company like this..

I ordered flowers and was assured they would be delivered the next day in the morning, at 12:45 they had not been delivered so I called and was told that the agent that helped me had made an error and they entered to have them there by 4pm not in the morning. I was told they were trying to reach the florist and would call me back soon. After not receiving a call back I called back at 3:15 pm and was told they are on the way and would be delivered shortly and someone would call me back. At 5:00 pm after the flowers were not delivered and still no call back I was told that to get a refund I would need to talk to a supervisor but they were all on calls and they would call me back in the next 20-30 minutes. I never received that call and had to call back the next day and it took over 30 more minutes on the phone to finally get them to agree to refund since the flowers were never delivered and they cannot provide any updates. This place is a joke.

Avas should NOT have pics of their floral arraignment's unless they can agree with the floral shops they work with that they can get it to look at least 75% like the pic. I ordered an arrangement for my aunt's 80th, understanding it would not be exact. But what she got, although pretty, was NOT even close to the fullness or size that I ordered. Customer service made contact with me after I messaged them and they TRIED several times to offer a Discount. 20%, 30% 50%. I told the lady I was not interested in using their service again. Beware.

My friend in Florida was rushed into hospital a few days ago. I live in Indonesia so searched for Flower Delivery Florida and tried to find one quickly because I had limited time before going offline and I needed to make sure my friend got flowers fast. I saw reviews on the Avas website, so thought it would be a good choice. I choose an arrangement but also picked the larger version that was labeled "as shown" as I thought this would offer me the assurance of knowing what would be sent.
OMG - the arrangement was disgusting. What was delivered was literally half the size of what I paid for - 4 roses in the "as shown" photo - 2 delivered; 16 pink flowers in photo - 4 delivered; 7 white daisy type flowers - 0 delivered. I couldn't believe it when my friend sent me the photo. I felt embarrassed and also very angry because to top it all off, they charged an extra 55% on top service fee right at the last part of checkout. I did not have the time to change companies, so I placed the order and wished I had never bothered. I have contacted the company but not heard back. I have photo proof so see attached for yourself! Appalling! Disgusting. Total rip off and complete con. Save your money and avoid shock and disappointment. Go elsewhere!

I placed an order off their website 2 weeks prior to my sister's birthday. I placed the order of a birthday bouquet arrangement in a decorative basket. I also ordered with it chocolates and balloons. They substituted One Dozen roses for the arrangement I had ordered. The roses arrived at my sister in a box wilted and dried up. No chocolates. No Balloons. Initially I made a complaint on their website complaint tab. After a day of No responses I started to call their office and Once I made contact and heard of my issues their solution was to offer me a 20% discount off my order. Horrible company. Ordered flowers for a memorial a week before the event. No flowers were delivered and no one called to tell me. I called the next day, was disconnected twice and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes twice. When I finally was able to speak to a person, they asked if I wanted the flowers delivered to the person two days later. It was a memorial. They gave me a bunch of excuses why they weren't delivered but the person in India didn't know anything about the delivery really. Will never use them again.

After ordering the “Luxury Grand” which is the largest arrangement you can purchase, along with a $4.99 greeting card for my Nanny while she was in the hospital. A $29 “service fee” for a total of $123 plus some change… It arrived 2 days late, after she was already released. No greeting card, just the standard free little card you get with any flower arrangement. I was mortified, shocked, and kissed when I saw what was delivered. As to what I paid for, not only that. The customer service said they would make her arrangement even bigger than the luxury grande I had purchased by adding in their fresh grown flowers from their local greenhouse, since it was two days late. So I was expecting an arrangement even more beautiful than what I had purchased. This is what she got. So much for her having something pretty to look at while she was in the hospital.

I placed the order on the phone a week prior to my mother's funeral. I spoke to a representative who even put me on hold to speak with someone he assured me that the flowers would arrive at 8:00 a.m. at the VA Cementary in Boulder City, Nevada. Well, they did not! Luckily the office at the cemetery had flowers that somebody donated and gave them to me. Otherwise, my poor mother would not have had flowers. Be careful who you order from! Make sure they are local.

They were not like the ones at the website. I really wish they had been in the correct vase. This arrangement is pricey and to not have what we order, it's unfortunate. If they can't fulfill the order as is, they should either notify or partially refund.

I ordered a large floral arrangement on stand for a baby who had only lived four days. Everyone was devastated obviously. The family was important to us so we contacted Avas because of false positive ratings. The order went through. The next day, Saturday afternoon, they contacted me and said they could not deliver on time for the Sunday 3:00pm funeral. They offered to send flowers later in the week to the family's home. I refused so they cancelled the order which left me high and dry since by now all florists were closed for the weekend. I will never forgive this company. They promised same day delivery, but couldn't even deliver two day delivery for a very important event.

They itemize a list of charges totaling $69.00 then after they get my card info they add $24.99 for a service fee plus taxes so now $112.00, if they take even ten cents I will own their business. Now to the BBB.

Bouquet of flowers was order and delivered but the flowers were replaced with inferior flowers, also card stated 17 stem floral bouquet but was was delivered was 12 wilted stems. You can get better quality flowers at grocery store. Don't waste your money with this business.

Flowers arrived, burned and wilted and beyond reproach. They appeared like they were at a gravesite for a week before they were delivered. Will never buy again and recommend you stick with 1800flowers.

My husband and I live in Little Rock, AR, and wanted to make sure to support a local business in Las Vegas, NV where our daughter and her fiance' live. Sending her Mother's Day flowers after a miscarriage of twins helps to bring a little bit of light into her life each year. The arrangement that we chose to send to our daughter was the "My Sun, Moon, and Stars" for $69.99 (we did not skimp!!!). Our TOTAL charge was $97.00!!! What our daughter received AFTER 7:00 PM on Mother's Day, as they were walking out of the door to go to dinner, where they had reservations, is when the delivery person finally showed up. She called me and thanked her dad and me for the bouquet of flowers and I asked her to take pictures for me.
We fully understand that there is a "substitution policy". However, I don't think that this policy is inclusive of lesser quality or even a lesser amount of flowers!! This floral bouquet that was "substituted" looked like it had been thrown together from the garbage bin in a half attempt to fulfill an order and NOW we can't even talk to a HUMAN on the phone because everything is done online, even for their screw-ups! And, the arrangement that was "substituted" was HALF the size of what we had ordered!!!
Will we support local businesses in Las Vegas like this again, unless we are there in person? Absolutely NOT!!! And especially NOT AVAS Flowers!!!!!!!!!! I am going through the rigmarole of trying to get a FULL if not PARTIAL refund for the services that were rendered and that were unacceptable at this time.
This entire experience with AVAS Flowers has taught us a very expensive lesson and that is always to go to our own local Florist, here in Little Rock, AR and order through them and they will transmit our orders to a florist that actually provides services that are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Or, we will use FTD for our floral deliveries because THEY have NEVER done us wrong!!! Even when "substitutions" need to be made.
We are SICKENED and so disappointed in AVAS Flowers!! Our suggestion for flower arrangements, no matter the reason or event, is to go ANYWHERE BUT to AVAS Flowers!!

Purchased flowers for a Mother's Day delivery. They provided a Flex-date delivery of 5/11 thru 5/14. The flowers were never delivered. Paid a "service fee" they add on at check of $24.95. Contacted via email, and they send me a "policy" that they cannot guarantee delivery on holidays such as Mother's Day! Didn't say that at checkout and on the website where it said "place your Mother's Day order".. Avoid this business. Look at BBB ratings, like I should have...

I ordered two dozen roses a couple of days before Mother's Day for my 84-year-old mom and Avas Flowers never delivered. I received an email on the same day of the order (Friday) that the flowers were delivered FEDEX even though I requested Sunday delivery and paid extra for premium delivery. I called Avas on Mother's Day to tell them the flowers were not delivered and asked when they would be delivered. They indicated they could now not deliver on Mother's Day and wanted to deliver on Monday the day after with a $15 credit. When I said unacceptable and no, they gave me a "final" offer of a $20 credit and day after Mother's Day delivery. I once again said no and asked for a cancelation. After 40 minutes of my life sitting on hold, I received a text message indicating the order was canceled but the human I was speaking with never picked the phone up again and just left me on hold for forever.

Flowers that I ordered for Mother's Day were canceled ON MOTHER'S DAY. Notified in afternoon on the day, too late to make alternative plans. I would highly recommend not using this flower company for any important event or day.

Ordered Mother's Day flowers and selected the date range. Was charged their $29 service fee + flower cost. I get an email ON MOTHER'S DAY, that the delivery cannot be made. But hey - they will deliver them 2 days late. Couldn't have told me beforehand so I could make other arrangements? I blame myself for not heeding the other 1-star reviews. Will NEVER use them again.

My experience with Ava’s Flowers was terrible. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day at the end of April to have them delivered the Thursday before Mother’s Day. I was trying to avoid any delays in delivery. I received confirmation that the order had been delivered; however, the flowers were apparently delivered to a wrong address that was nowhere near where they should have been delivered. After numerous attempts at contacting customer service, I finally got ahold of someone. They proceeded to tell me that I had gone and changed the delivery address online right after I had placed my order, which I had not.
After 20 minutes on the phone. They stated that someone would call me back since the florist wasn’t open yet. Someone did call me back about 2 hours later and said that they reprocessed the order and that it might be delivered that day but they couldn’t guarantee that. I received a phone call later that day from my mother telling me that the flowers had been delivered but only after she talked with the delivery driver to give the correct address. The address once again was incorrect, even though I had confirmed earlier on the phone the correct address several times. After this fiasco, I will never order flowers from Ava’s Flowers again!

On May 10, 2023 I ordered by phone conversing with a live person as to how beautiful this bouquet would be, the medium Artisan Lovely Lavender floral arrangement expecting a bouquet of purple and lavender flowers for $87 including delivery. What was delivered was a small bouquet of red, yellow, and orange flowers consisting of two red carnations, orange day lilies and one yellow rose. I understand substitutions but at least use some pastels. Sorely misled by the man who took the order.

I attempted to organize flowers for Mother's day by ordering them on the Thursday prior. I received 10+ emails from Avas over the span of 48 hours; some asking me to verify my credit card, others telling me the bouquet I chose wasn't available, others saying my delivery would be late. Mother's Day is still two days away, but I guess they'll be late! It's impossible to get through to them on the phone and their 'live chat' is just a bot. I ended up sending them a message on Instagram and received a half-hearted response. Horrible customer service experience. Will not use them again.

My order was delivered to the billing address instead of the address of the recipient. I ordered online through what advertised as a local florist. Not true! They refused to help in any way. Had to reorder through another venue. Very disappointing! They send their arrangements through UPS. They also sent a message that the flowers on the website was not available and to choose another item. Choose another florist!

I ordered a $120.00 Sympathy Bouquet and what was sent did not nearly resemble picture on internet. I complained and told them I wanted them to redeliver what was depicted and what I paid for on the internet site. They assured me they would but NEVER did. They are now ignoring all my emails and nobody answers the phone. Do not order from this company! Totally crooked and highway robbery. Despicable organization. Stay away. I wish I had researched them better.

Worse experience we've ever had ordering flowers. We ordered a "Get Well" Teddy bear with 6 balloons early morning for same-day delivery. They used my name for both the patient receiving and the party sending. Rather than call from the hospital, they called that evening asking for patient's name and room number. Which tells me they never made it the hospital for same-day delivery... Then tried to blame it on the hospital's mix-up. After all had been gone over several times on the phone that morning, they added an add'l charge, $28.00 for creative floral arrangement fee... It was a friggin teddy bear with 6 balloons! Save your money and send a gift card from Amazon, Etsy, or local restaurant... We'd have given zero stars if possible.

This company is a fraud! They charged me $89 for some cheap dead flowers that I could have gotten for $10 at for Walmart. It was not the same flowers in the picture they advertised. They also charged extra $20 for same day delivery but didn’t deliver it until the next day. I called the same # on website where I ordered the flowers from to voice my complaint but they kept routing my calls to a voicemail and never returned my calls or emails. Avas Flowers is a fraud and scam!
