Missed the delivery date! Impossible to speak to a real person at Customer Support. Their online support is useless. Not even sure where these flowers are coming from. Thought they were local. Definitely go elsewhere!

Horrible flowers. Ordered one kind and got the complete opposite of my order. Didn't even remotely try to get it close. Horrible company. You can forget calling in your complaint.. they are too busy to fix their mistake!!

I called an order to Avas & was assured they could deliver next day. I got numerous text messages w problems/now out of flowers/changed arrangement. Back & forth OTP 6 times w promise of delivery. Got another text today saying delivery would be next wk. Terrible to deal with 6 phone calls & about 90 minutes for nothing!

Awful experience with Avas. DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH THEM. They apparently go through local florists, they are NOT local to your city, which I realized after. When I asked the rep which local floral they were using he refused to tell me. SUPER SKETCHY. They lied and said they attempted delivery? Totally a SCAM.

Ordered a birthday arrangement with flowers, 3 balloons and a teddy bear. $162.00 total. Received dozen half dead rose not in a vase, no water. Chocolate covered strawberries, No balloons or teddy bear. What an embarrassment to be sending to my daughter's work for her birthday. Better off going to the grocery store. Never ordering from them again.

The website was nice. The prices seemed fair. I ordered a large Tulip arrangement to be delivered same day. I spent $100 between the arrangement and service fee. Delivery was free as a promotion. I was advised later that the tulips were out of stock but alternative arrangement of same or greater value would be sent. The photo I received from the recipient showed a sad collection of daisies, a few carnations and exactly 2 roses. I have a hard time believing this arrangement was equal or greater value. I'm really disappointed in this experience and will not order from them again.

I call to order my daughter-in-law flowers. Ask if they do a same day delivery. They told me, "Yes. It would be $80." I said, "Oh good." Go ahead and submit my credit card payment. Everything went smooth I thought.. 2 hours later I get an email telling me that it was unable to happen that good do it tomorrow.. I told them it was today and if they weren't able to do it they could go ahead and cancel. They went back and forth with me for 30 minutes trying to get me to negotiate on $5 off all the way up to $25 off and they would also call her and let her know that something happened and they would be there first thing in the morning.. I told him no to cancel the order as we were speaking. They said $116 would be refunded back to my card.. So not only do they to lie about the delivery date but they lied about the price. Whatever you do please do not order from these people. They are a scam!!! Absolutely ridiculous. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.

So I had placed an order for a pretty Spring Bouquet for our daughter. Received a message saying they didn’t have what I ask for and sent me several substitutions which I didn’t like it took me an hour to find the perfect one I wanted! So I chose to cancel the order. Their customer service representative called and said, "I see you want to cancel." I said, "Yes please cancel the order." Then she proceeded to say, "We have this and that"! I told her, "No. Cancel the order like requested." She kept on the call escalated from me trying to be nice even from her being very very pushy!
I asked for her supervisor which she said there wasn’t one to me finally telling her I was hanging up and calling the Corporate Office. Only then did she finally cancel my order!! When you ask for an order to be cancelled you as a customer should not have to go through what I did to cancel it! Especially when it wasn’t what you wanted! Never Ever Will I Order From Them Again!!

Ordered Easter flowers for two friends. One was delivered, the other has not arrived yet! Order was to be delivered on Saturday the 31st of March? The other was actually delivered to the wrong address and wrong person? Been talking to Avas and was told the flowers were delivered, I said, "Yes they were, according to the e-mail I got but not to where they were supposed to be delivered."

Worst experience ever!! Ordered a fruit basket for my wife and ours 20th anniversary. When the invoice arrived in my email I immediately noticed a $28+ service fee. I called immediately to cancel and was given the run around for over half an hour! No cancellation possible. This company is a total swindle. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. They'll spring an astronomical service fee on you and then when you call they'll say it's too late to cancel. Total scam. They appear local but they are not.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I had read the reviews. Placed an order for next day delivery. Had to call to figure out why it wasn’t delivered. Was promised it would arrive the next day. Again had to call. Was promised it would be delivered the next day. I had to ask for a discount (they gave me $10 which is nothing considering they charged a crazy extra amount at checkout for flowers I thought were $40). Did not deliver and did not inform me, I called again. They promised next day delivery. I cancelled and am ordering from another company. The flowers are for someone in the hospital and have been delayed a long time and I am very upset.

Bad experience. My fiance wanted flowers sent to me for my work baby shower and they never showed up. Day two and I am still waiting for them. All we can get from the customer service number is that they are out for delivery but our office is closed now for the day.

First of all I ordered flowers for my niece's 16th birthday & it said they would be delivered by 2! Got a text after 2 to call them bc they had issues. Called & was told they couldn’t get them that day because no local florist could do it. Said they could deliver the next day & would be upgraded for free! She finally got flowers but nothing like what I order & most definitely not an upgrade. I could have went out & picked the flowers myself from the side of the road & made them look better than what she got! So very disappointing!! I will never order from them again! They did refund me half but what she got wasn’t even worth that! This is just unsatisfactory period! Attached pics of what I ordered & what she actually received!!

Ordered $159 spray to be delivered the day before funeral, because I was outta town, and couldn't attend. Never got delivered, and when I called, and finally got them on the phone, they apologized, said they cancelled, and refunded my credit card. Never happened. Had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Never again!!!

Very disappointed, flowers were not what I chose, similar, maybe. Customer service is a joke... Tell you what you want to hear, but still leave me dissatisfied! Never again! So much time, my time!! To be on phone with customer service, which never should have happened.... Had Avas flowers done their job in the first place!

This business is HORRIBLE!!!! I ordered a large flower arrangement. The vase was dang on near empty, little to no flowers or greenery inside the vase, no balloons, the 2 lilies that were open looked dead and the 2 other lilies were closed. When called the customer care line the rep made it seem like I was wrong!!! NEVER USING THIS SITE AGAIN….and would not recommend this company!!!! Buyers BEWARE!!!

This company uses dynamic Google Ads that makes it appear as if they have a florist in the town you're searching for. They do not actually have a florist in the town I searched for...so they must outsource every order and hope there's a florist nearby that's available. This company broke their commitment. When my family went to purchase flowers on Saturday for a funeral today (Monday), we called in the order to make sure they would be able to get it to the funeral home in time for the funeral. They assured us it would be delivered by 5 p.m. on Monday, but now we're being told today that they won't be able to deliver it in time. This company does bait and switch. Since they couldn't do what they promised, they offered to deliver it to the house (of the family member that passed???) after the service. We rejected that offer so they then offered to hold the flower order for Mother's Day. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I ordered flowers on 3/28 to be delivered on 3/29. Today is 4/1 and the flowers I ordered still haven't been delivered. A representative called on 4 separate occasions saying the flowers were going to be delivered each time and still no flowers and now they are saying they won't be delivered until April 2nd. This is the worse service I have ever received from a florist. I definitely will not be shopping with them again. I'd rather shop with 1-800-Flowers or any other florist before giving them another chance.

SCAM. BUYER BEWARE. Companies such as this should be closed. They lied about delivery, never gave a tracking number. The order was not delivered. Then, they never responded to multiple follow up calls or remedied the situation. They act sweet, and pretend that they will help you. Once they have your money, you are not getting it back. Watch also for hidden fees in your total! What a mess of something that should have been pleasant. Read these reviews and believe them. I wish I had done more research.

I appreciate this company giving me a 10$ discount for the inconvenience of not having my original order, however, I ordered a custom mix afterwards and got nothing but Daisies in my arrangement. I understand the limit of what’s in season but they charged me 69$ with discount for nothing but daisies in my arrangement. They could have added a few more different varieties than just daisies.

Terrible. "Same day service" isn't even NEXT day service. My order has disappeared & no one from the company will get back to me. I've texted, called & gone on-line JUST FOR A STATUS & no one will get back to me. Oh boy, but we're they ever attentive when on the way to collecting my money!!! Oh & also be forewarned that your choice of arrangement, the one you're seeing a picture of at a certain price, will cost you AT LEAST twice as much as the quoted price. My advice? Call a local florist to the area where the delivery is being made. You can see if they are local via Google Maps.

This place does not have any customer service. They want you to use their online service & when you call, they say they can’t take your call. I never got an update on whether or not my flowers were delivered! And they charged a $25 service fee! For what service?!? I’m out $85!

I ordered this as a same day delivery, paid the rush fee to have it there by 2pm, it wasn't there on time so the rush fee was refunded. When I saw the picture of what was delivered I was so embarrassed. It was absolutely nothing like the picture - at all and there was a huge gap where there were no flowers. Looked like a five year old designed it. I tried getting in touch with your company many times, no live person will answer the phone. I want my money back - every dime. Julie

Followed a link for Avas Flowers in Layton UT that said Free delivery. It was not free delivery. They tacked on a $10 delivery fee and a $24 "Service Fee" that was not mentioned before checkout. BAD BUSINESS Practice.

I called and asked if Avas was located in Wakefield Massachusetts (as was indicated in their ad) and was told yes. I asked if they had a local store and was told yes. Not true. The arrangement that was delivered was nothing like what I ordered, cheaper vase, cheaper greens, different flowers. And, the icing on the cake? It did not even come from a florist! It came from a grocery store! And the person who delivered it did not even ring the doorbell and wait to deliver it in person but left it on the top stair and left. Very, very unhappy with this company!

Will never order from them again. Ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday early in the day and paid for same day delivery…. Seven hours later an email was sent that stated they couldn’t deliver that day but would reschedule for the next day. By the time I got the email (because when I’m at work I cannot access personal email) they were closed for the day based on the time in the email. I waited and still no flowers by 1 pm the next day. I called to ask about the flowers and was told they were out for delivery right then, and when I stated I was not happy that they did not arrive on the date specified the representative hung up on me. I did not yell, was not rude, just stated I was not happy that they did not arrive on my mother’s birthday and *crickets*.
Finally later that afternoon a small arrangement arrived. But it’s not what I paid for (see photos for a “large” vase of the first picture, and the second is what actually arrived), and I cannot get an answer for any sort of apology. Do not do business with Avas Flowers. I wish I had read reviews before ordering. When I searched for a local florist near my mother this one popped up with an address in her town. Now I know better, they’re a service (using that term extremely loosely) trying to compete with FTD or Teleflora and contract with local florists. Also not obvious when I was at the website which made it look like it was in my mom’s hometown. Save yourself a headache and bad service, don’t order with Avas Flowers.

I ordered the Blue Sympathy Standing Basket on 08/10/22 for my mother's memorial service on 08/13/22. It was delivered on 08/12/22 as promised. Though the flowers were as pictured, they neglected to inform the local florist supplying the delivery to include the stand which was part of the order, and very much needed due to the layout and setup of the funeral site. Fortunately, the local florist had a pedestal available that they allowed us to use. When they read the order that they received from Avas Flowers to me, there was NO MENTION of a "stand", which was part of the description of the floral arrangement.

I ordered balloons for my stepdaughter's birthday...When the confirm came in, it showed an additional $25 handling fee...I received notification that the delivery was made yesterday..It was not...I got a call from their customer service in the Philippines this morning saying they had to investigate as they also showed delivered....Only way to get your money back is to dispute it through your bank....These people are absolutely scum.

I specifically ordered flowers from you as your online store was the only one that offered exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a beautiful arrangement of pastel flowers - and for a good personal reason. What my sister received was not even close. I work with floral people every day - and I understand the need to substitute - but these were NOTHING even close to what I ordered - all deep bright colors mixed in. I hate those light mauve roses and it was full of them!!!! I never would have ordered them.
I immediately went on to your "chat" format to try to get an answer. I tried two days in a row - maybe 4 times. Yet each time I tried it just spinned and spinned. No-one ever connected on your side. A few days later - I got my confirmation and a survey with your number. I immediately called. I was even more upset when I was told that all claims need to be made within 48 hours and there was nothing you could do for me. I will not use you again or refer you. I will make a review. Kathy **

I called this morning to have flowers delivered for my sister's birthday. Avas Flowers was super helpful. They helped me and kept me in constant communication on the arrangement and delivery. This is the best customer service I’ve ever had when buying flowers. Highly recommend them!

I ordered a dozen roses to be delivered the next day 3/13. When they were not delivered, I called to inquire. They assured me they would contact another florist and get them delivered. Nope. No flowers. The customer service is hidden behind a number of different options and they will outright lie. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. Buy flowers from anyone else. Anyone. At one point, they tried to convince me that I entered the order date for the day after the birthday. They are told to lie, they don't even lie convincingly. I have full email and customer service messages for verification or please feel free to ask.

A “service fee” was not mentioned up front but simply added to my total. When I inquired about the purpose by phone, no explanation was given. Checking online I found they claim others include this in the pricing, but they choose to be more “transparent”. It appears to be quite the opposite.

This is the worst "florist" ever. I ordered the birthday flowers 2 days prior to delivery. The day of "delivery" I received an email to contact Avas. In short they didn't have the flowers I ordered. I reordered and 2 hours later I received another email to contact Avas, they didn't have those flowers either. I cancelled the order and fortunately did get a refund. These "people" are scammers. I wouldn't give them 1 star if didn't have to leave a star. Take your time and contact a local florist.

I ordered 2 of the lavender sympathy arrangements with a banner which said could be available next day. I ordered 8 days in advance. And paid the expedited fee. Which came out to about $270 The arrangements arrived at the funeral after we came from the burial site. After complaining they offered me the 9.99 expedition fee back.. which was less than 10%…. After calling again they offered me their condolences and $20. That is totally unacceptable. I should have read the reviews first. Now I see that they are horrible. Somebody need to file a class action lawsuit against them folks or they are going to keep benefiting from others hard earned money.

Ordered a peace plant for sister-in-law's funeral in Texas February 17, 2024. They couldn't understand English enough to spell my email address or the payees' names correctly. Even after a phone call to make corrections, they still messed it up! They were going to have management contact me for a refund since the recipient had to guess who the plant was from! Still waiting! Flush your money down the toilet and get the same results!

This was the 2nd time using Ava’s. First time the order was fine. Second time, I felt scammed by what I ordered and what was delivered. The size, colors, flower choices were nothing I chose. They made it almost right by refunding half my money but I still felt my friend who deserved a beautiful bouquet was shafted.

These guys are horrible. I paid for urgent delivery. Delivery wasn't made at time requested and paid for. They promised flowers will be delivered by 2 pm when originally was requested at 9 am on March 8 and order was made on February 25th. At 2 pm flowers weren't delivered. They promised it'll be delivered by 3 pm and they are putting flowers in delivery car as we speak. At 3:30 pm delivery was never made and they said delivery person is on other side of the town. Totally BAD experience with those guys. NEVER ORDER from them, waste of time and money.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on our daughter's birthday. When I called to check on the order they said there was a problem with the order due to lack of product from four different florist they contacted. They gave me a $20 discount to deliver the next day so I accepted. The next day I received another text from Avas to contact them. I was told they could not guarantee delivery by the end of her work day. I then ask for a cancelation and refund. The representative tried offering me different options and discount. I continued to tell her, "No. Cancel the order and refund my money." I received a text that I would be refunded and the representative did not come back on the phone line. Do not order from this company.

Placed an $132 order for viewing/funeral of family of a close friend. I REPEATEDLY asked for a photo of the final arrangement to be sent, BEFORE delivery. The order left on the street at the mailbox. Looked like a $9 bunch from the grocer.

After 15 phone calls, and my plea for them to stop calling while I was at work, to verify information that they already had, in the slowest manner on EARTH; AND three days late, the order ($118) wasn't even correct AND they offered to upgrade because of the fiasco...and didn't even do THAT!!!

Tried to place a same day order to have shipped to friends. Was informed hours later it wasn't going to be delivered the day I paid for it to be delivered, and when I requested to cancel because of this, they called me and begged to just give me a discount but to keep the flowers. I said no and to please cancel it close to 10 times, and was then put on hold for close to the same time as they 'worked through canceling'. In the end, I got my refund (or at least texts that say I did) but I definitely wouldn't order from them, especially after seeing other reviews.

They said they delivered to my specified area, and asked what delivery date I wanted. Thought I was set for my daughter's birthday, but they then CANCELLED my order on the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered (my daughter's birthday). Being afternoon when they cancelled, I was unable to send flowers to her. I will NEVER order from them again. This is the second time they have done this. Awful. False advertising.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the floral arrangement delivered for my father's funeral on Friday, March 1st, 2024. The arrangement we received was not only incorrect but also drastically different from what was promised by your sales representative. When we initially discussed the floral arrangement for such a solemn occasion which I was unable to attend, your representative assured us of a beautiful display that would convey our sentiments with elegance and dignity. However, what arrived was a complete disappointment. The flowers were not the ones we selected due to the arrangement not being available. After several calls from the sales representative, he assured me that there would be an arrangement that would be delivered that we would be happy with and would represent the message we were trying to convey.
Losing a loved one is an immensely difficult experience, and the last thing my family needed during this time of mourning was the added stress and disappointment caused by the mishap with the floral arrangement. The flowers are meant to be a symbol of love, respect, and remembrance, and the arrangement provided failed to fulfill this purpose. I urge you to rectify this situation immediately. I sent my wife flowers for Valentines day. When they delivered them they were in dilapidated state, starved for water, 1 was dead, and had a small piece of tissue paper wrapped around them. When she went to put them in water she found a tom thumb price tag on them with a price 1/4 how much I paid. I tried to get with the customer service center. They said they'd resend her a new bouquet, that was the day after and still nothing.

I have been sending my sister flowers for her birthday for many years. I decided to try and find a local florist in her region to hopefully make it easier and more cost efficient for the delivery. Avas Flowers seemed to be the place to go! Little did I know that 1. They're NOT local. 2. It was very difficult to talk to an actual customer service representative regarding my order. 3. I was deceived in thinking that the flowers had been delivered, when, in fact, they were not, even after calling and demanding answers regarding the issue. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Ordered online from Avas Flowers after it appeared in both paid + organic searches for local flower delivery. Agent assured me they were local FIVE TIMES; placed order then received email it couldn’t be delivered - when I called to cancel, they continually tried to say they’d deliver them two days later. After 15 minutes they finally agreed to refund. After more detailed searches, realized they’re a scam company and you cannot leave reviews for them on Google or Facebook. I ran a test of the reviews on their own site, and of course they’re fake. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I went online and ordered a large sympathy spray 3 days before the service for my aunt’s funeral, but it never arrived. We’re disappointed, shocked and stunted. This has never ever happened to us in the past. We’re from Texas and the funeral is in Philadelphia. We’ve set our hearts that the spray would be sent in our presence to show our condolences to her family. This is outrageous and unacceptable. Avas Flowers has no consideration and sympathy for people. They withdrew the money from our credit card immediately following the order and we even made a call to speak to a live agent to be sure it’s not a scam since we’re not familiar with this florist.
We used to place our flowers through FTD to take advantage of USAA discount. Avas flowers dominated the website with beautiful flowers pictures and free shipping ads when we searched for flowers in this area. What a scheme of an unscrupulous business operation to screw up people even in their sadness moment. An act of unkind, cold and insensitive towards humanity, to one another. We vouched to never order flowers from this horrible company. We’re planning to report them to BBB. They should be disbanded from the website altogether. What a negative experience we had OMG.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. Ordered flowers for my grandmother's birthday which is February 18th….well today is March 1st and she STILL has NOT received her flowers. Customer service was rude and offered me a $15 refund on a $75 order.

I would provide zero stars if allowed. I google searched and was led to believe they were a local florist in Tunica, MS. I chose same day delivery to a business address. By 11am, they called to tell me that they would be unable to delivery to that business address but could not tell me why. They said I needed to provide the home address for the person I was sending flowers to. I told them i would have to call them back. I reached out to the organization to see if they would be willing to even give me the person's personal address. Luckily, they did. At that point, they were already calling me back. I gave them the updated address and they stated that the delivery would be made that day by 5pm.
Not even 30 minutes later, I received an email that said my order had been shipped by UPS with a scheduled delivery by 7pm the next day. I called back (which finding a phone number that allowed you to speak to someone was difficult). They played dumb but did give me a $30 discount which would cover the processing fee and delivery fee. They would not cancel my order. At this point, there was not mention of the fact that they were shipping something completely different than what was ordered. The next day, what was delivered was 1 dozen half dead, frozen mixed color roses. I ordered the large pink rose and lily bouquet. Not 1 single lily, not 1 single pink rose. They refused refund. Offered me a $10 in store credit and a phone call to the person with an apology.

Ordered arrangement as gift three days prior to requested delivery date. Got email saying they were delivered, they were not. Spent an hour on the phone trying to figure out why. Were finally delivered day and half later. Looked nothing like what I ordered, was poor quality and very few flowers. I had a coupon for free delivery which was taken off before checkout but a $29 service fee was added AFTER I paid. Flowers were 1/4 the size I ordered and did not include even a substitution for 2 of the flowers. They were left on the front porch, never even rang the bell and they were from HARRIS TEETER!!! I almost $90 for a $15 arrangement from the grocery store!

Represented themselves as local florist. Were not. Placed an order, charged Fees that added 70%. Sent texts on the day of delivery stating did not have ordered flowers...but would send "upgraded" arrangement. SENT BY UPS. Not local delivery at all. Flowers arrived a day late as a long stringy assortment. Stuck in a small container. Zero effort to arrange. Zero color coordination in array. Zero performance in delivery. Zero truth to any of their representations. It is a scam show pushed by a purchased position on top of Google. Therefore Google is complicit in this fraudulent operation.

I was quite surprised by the FEE for their service that was tacked on at the end of my online order. But the main problem was that the next day, no flowers arrived. I must admit it was fairly easy to request another attempted delivery, but when that did not happen the next day, I then requested a refund. Thankfully that happened fair and square. Will work with a directly local florist next time.

I ordered a beautiful arrangement, Floral Harmony. He encouraged me to get the large. I did. The final cost was 50 dollars than the price online. He wanted $6.95 for a ribbon, $5.99 for a card. All I wanted was the small card that normally comes with a bouquet. $28.00 for service, which he said was hand delivery. The arrangement she got was not at all like the one in the picture. It's actually ugly! Now I can't seem to reach someone to voice a complaint. I'm furious. Don't buy from them!

ORDER # **. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Find a local florist. DO NOT ORDER from Avas Flowers. I ordered same-day delivery and they were supposed to be delivered by 4pm. They were not. I could not get any updates on the status of the order at all. Getting through to live customer service was close to impossible and once I did they were completely UNHELPFUL and the calls kept disconnecting. All I wanted was a refund. My GF had already left work and was not going to receive the flowers which were never delivered by the promised time. Seems straightforward enough, right? NOPE!
Even after I asked for a manager or supervisor, the CS rep kept telling me that the manager was going to tell me the same thing - NO REFUND. After spending over 45 minutes on the phone, I get a call back from a "supervisor" who will not refund my order and who offered a $20 credit on my account. I don't WANT the credit. I will NEVER, EVER order from this company again, so therefore I won't be using the credit. This company is SHADY and does not follow through with their commitments. Stay away from this SCAM!

I purchased a beautiful flower arrangement for Valentine's Day. Almond with 2 different types of balloons. The flower arrangement came around 6:30 pm. Didn’t look nothing like what I ordered. 5 roses and 3 carnations when I ordered the large which had more of each. I informed the delivery guy, "Where is the rest of my order?" He act like he didn’t know but said he would be back. Never seen him again. I reached out by email several times with order number. They say delivery was made. Called the number. Provided it. Referred me back to website. I’ve even emailed ** at main support in DE. No response. Paid $110 for flowers could have bought in Foodlion grocery store. Never again.

I went to Avas Flowers website on 2-14-2024. The site said orders placed before 2 pm would be delivered the same day, this was a surprise being it's the day of but ok. I placed my order at 8:17 AM and had it setup to be delivered to my wife at work. I received my invoice, with all the correct information on it. They charged my bank account the $174. Seven hours later no delivery so I tried calling to ask about my order, and the automated system just tells me that due to the high call volume, they can not take my call then disconnects the call. The online tracking is garbage. I received an email stating they tried to call me and asked if the number in the email was correct but there was no phone number in the email to confirm. 2/15/2024 still no flowers and no communication. 2/16/2024. Still no flowers and no communication.
Finally on the 16th I get an email @ 10am telling me that they need assistance with a few details on my order and to call a 1800 number. After 15 mins of waiting I get to talk to someone that speaks rough English and tells me that the reason my order has not been shipped is because they needed to verify the address for delivery because it was a buisness. So, I said People have flowers delivered to businesses all the time what's the problem?? They say sorry and offer to ship priority. I said Valentines day was 2 days ago so they offer me 30% off so I asked to cancel the order and was told to hold untill she gets approval then while on hold disconnects the call. I did end up getting an email saying they issued a refund but I still have not seen it yet. It's now the 17th @ 254pm so we will see. I SUGGEST FINDING A DIFFERENT PLACE TO BUY FROM. AVAS FLOWERS IS HORRIBLE.

I ordered a larger arrangement of flowers for my mom for Valentine’s Day. They falsely advertise free delivery but charge a $24 service fee. My mom sent a photo and the flowers were 1/4 the size arrangement that I ordered. Obviously, they hope people won’t notice this. I spent almost $84 for flowers that looked like they came from the grocery store- and those probably would’ve been better. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR FLOWER DELIVERY. They claim to be local but they aren’t. Go with real local florist who cares about their customers.

They finally contact me ask for an alternate address and here it is the 16th and still no flowers, their solution, "Will give you 10% off on your next purchase." Are you kidding me? If you spend money with this company you’re just looking for heartbreak and disappointment. 110% discount wouldn’t be worth the effort to do business with these people.

Same story as most everyone else... ordered flowers with a delivery date confirmed via email. Later that day, another email arrived that delivery may be up to 3 days past the delivery date confirmation. I called and spoke with a supervisor, Pamela, who told me the delivery would occur on the day promised. I informed her if it didn't occur, I would contact my bank and start a charge-back against them to get my payment back. Next day, no flowers delivered. The next day I received another email stating the delivery was going to be even later. I called again - told them to cancel the order and issue the refund, or I would issue the charge-back with my credit card companies. (Most credit card companies stand up with their cardholders and get your $$$ back). They finally refunded me after a combined 90 minutes on the phone with them. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with this company.

I ordered roses sent for Valentine's Day for my Mother. They were never delivered despite receiving a confirmation. I called Customer Service and was never able to speak with anyone. I received a text from this company at 3 a.m. today, February 15th, asking me to call them followed by an email about the same time saying they "unable to reach me" at the number I provided. No one tried calling me. Today, they issues a refund and hope they can serve my floral needs in the future. Buyer beware!

Would not recommend this company. They have very slow phone people. Very hard to talk to a rep. They said they would offer a refund because they had no drivers to come to my address. I ordered a dozen red roses in a vase with a 4.99 card attached for my new wife. I ordered it the day before Valentine's Day thinking it was going to arrive in time. The day of and still never a sign from them. At 7pm they said it was delivered to the business. The next day there was no sign of the flowers. At about 2pm the day after Valentine's Day, a lame assortment of different colored roses appeared and a little pink cut out paper written in crayon saying what I wanted to say. Overall my soon to be wife and I were mortified and saddened. What a disgrace this company puts out to the public. It was just beyond deplorable. $116 of utter nonsense. Never again will I use them. Goodbye and Good riddance to them!

If I could give a minus star rating I would. First of all, Avas Flowers gives a telephone number that does nothing. It is totally automated and there is no way you can reach a person. Second, I had a deliver date of 2/13-2/14. Here it is the 2/15 and no flowers and no way to contact anyone or even know if they even care. Looking over the reviews, most are 1 star and the company response is "Thank you". What a joke. DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS WITH ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH AVAS!!!

I ordered flowers for my wife on the morning of Valentine's Day. My normal florist showed that they wouldn't be able to deliver in time, which was totally expected. I checked out Ava's Flowers, and it showed that I could deliver it on the 14th. I placed the order, and it went through, saying the expected delivery date would be the 14th, that same day. I asked my wife if she got the flowers and she said she didn't. Turns out they didn't deliver them, and I didn't even receive a call or notification about it. As a company, all you have to do is ensure that your expected delivery date is accurate. Even if you have to black out Valentine's Day. Otherwise, you're creating a horrible experience.

I ordered flowers for my daughter; it was her first Valentine's Day living on her own away from home and I wanted her to know we were thinking of her. I spent $121.12. She did not receive any flowers, and there was no communication from Ava's except an automated message telling me that they were unable to confirm delivery. I only got that response when I finally requested an update on the order. There was no resolution and no refund. They have stolen $121.12 from me. Yes I set up an order with this company on 2/13/24 to be delivered on the same day or the next which would be the holiday so that was fine but upon trying to track it COULD NOT FIND IT!!!! Called about it and spoke with the middle man in another country and got NOTHING!!!! I ordered flower for my daughter for Valentine’s Day to be delivered to school. They gave me a delivery window of 2-13 to 2-14, which was fine. However, they were NEVER delivered. I was WAY overcharged for the flowers that were never delivered and every time I try to reach customer service, they hang up on me. I am out over $100 with no way to ever get it back because you can’t talk to anyone and there is no option for failure to deliver.

I ordered flowers for my sister who just recently had surgery, she was feeling awful so I thought I would cheer her up with a nice bouquet. I saw that their website read that they offered free same day delivery in Denver, so I went ahead and ordered what I thought it was a nice bouquet for her. I picked a decent size bouquet and proceeded to pay what I thought would amount to about $65.00 with taxes, but in the end they added a 9.99 delivery fee plus a hefty 30.00 service charge. I ended up paying close to $100.00 to what should have been a $50 plus bouquet, then they never delivered the same day, four days later and my sister has not received anything and she never will, I have called them at least 10 times without any success. I have message them and email them to refund me my money. The customer service is somewhere in the Philippines and it is very hard to communicate with them. This company is a SCAM - STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

I ordered an arrangement of 24 roses and 12 red mums. Avas changed it to just 24 roses for the same price. When the flowers arrived 4 were wilted and one had insect damage. After arguing with two representatives for 35 minutes they finally agreed to refund my money only after I stated I was calling the State Attorney General fraud hotline. Do not waste your money with Avas.

Before placing an order on this website, I strongly urge you to read this review and steer clear of it as quickly as possible. My best friend recently experienced a heartbreaking loss as her grandson passed away, and in our inability to attend the memorial service, we decided to send flowers to the chapel on her behalf. The memorial service was scheduled for February 10th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. I placed the order on January 26th and even paid an additional $9.99 for their Rush Order Request Service, ensuring delivery by 10:30 AM on the day of the service. However, on February 9th, I received a text notification indicating an issue with my order and prompting me to call them. Upon doing so, I was informed that the original flower vendor couldn't guarantee delivery by the specified time. Despite their reassurances that another vendor had been assigned and guaranteed timely delivery, the flowers still did not arrive as promised.
On February 10th at 11:30 AM, I received yet another text stating a problem with my order, prompting another frustrating call to their customer service. After numerous calls and being placed on hold for extended periods, I finally managed to secure a refund. It was a deeply disappointing and saddening experience, especially given our intentions to support our grieving friend. I strongly advise against ordering from this company. Their customer service representatives are poorly trained, leading to prolonged wait times, dropped calls, and frustrating transfers to executive customer services, only to face further delays. Instead, I recommend doing your research and ordering flowers from a local vendor. Not only is it more cost-effective, but it also guarantees timely delivery and supports businesses within the community.

Updated on 02/11/2024: Please do not order from this company. Update: Today is Feb 11, and still no flowers. I cannot understand how a company can operate this way. Two days later (this morning), I received a phone call telling me the flowers would be delivered tomorrow, Feb 12. I asked for a full refund, and they said, "We can give you credit," which I will never order from Avas Flowers again. Instead, I opted for a $20 refund and hopefully delivered flowers on Feb 12.

I had a terrible experience with Avas Flowers. First of all, their online presence is deceptive, looking "local" no matter where you search. But they definitely are not. They are a big corporation that farms out the orders to local dealers and takes a cut. In my case, I ordered two orders and only one was delivered. When I called them out on it, they apologized and promised to deliver the second order the next day and gave me a tiny $10 refund for my troubles. The next day, the bouquet they delivered was small and unimpressive - definitely not a value for what I paid for it. It looked nothing like the picture on the website. When I called and complained, they said they had "followed the recipe" to the letter, that I hadn't ordered what was pictured. While technically accurate, I find it deceptive. I will never order from them again.

I spent $100 by the time all fees were paid, which were not transparent when I ordered. The flowers were late and the arrangement I ordered with confirmation of same day delivery were not fulfilled. They sent roses and guarantee they would be beautiful. The roses arrived thrown in a vase with nothing else. Unbelievably, another person sent flowers and they were the ones I wanted to be sent. What a waste of money. When I called I couldn’t be put through to a person. I’m really saddened by this. I actually apologized to my sister because the flowers looked so bad.

I wanted flowers delivered for my daughter’s first day back to work and what a disaster. I ordered at 7 am to be delivered with free shipping. What they don’t tell you is there is a $28 handling fee so it cost $101. Thank goodness I checked my email because although they used my cell phone to text me they received the order Along with an email, they only emailed they couldn’t complete without a question answered. I immediately called them and they said they couldn’t deliver to her work (it’s a public building) and couldn’t do it until tomorrow but it had to be a different address. I said, "No, cancel my order. I want it done today to her work." She said, "One moment." After a considerable wait, she came back and said she could do 10% off tomorrow to a different address. Again I said, "No, cancel it." Same process and she came back and proceeded to tell me 20% off. I tried to interrupt and she kept talking.
By now I’m furious, and said, "I want it canceled now, do not tell me about any other deal." She made me wait again and finally came back and said it was canceled. I immediately checked and it was completed but it took 22 minutes of my time to cancel. Keep in mind, my daughter works in a city of 90,000 people. So not a small town. I found a new florist it cost me $61, it was delivered that day, and beautiful. Before I could complete my Ava’s order I had to give it stars. Ordering was easy, they had over 4 stars so I wasn’t worried. I should have looked here first. I will NEVER use them again.

I wish I would've read reviews before using this company. I hope I'm able to post photos with this review because pictures speak volumes. My main complaint is what was delivered, was not what I ordered or paid for. This gift was an apology gesture and the "bouquet" of flowers that was delivered looked like they were recycled. Like, they make rounds to hospitals that have them left over and accept them as donations. Some of which were picked from gardens, homemade. There were not as many flowers as pictured, not the same flowers as pictured, not as colorful as pictured and some of the flowers were DYING! The "bouquet" was not even symmetric. I don't even think there were twelve stems! I paid over a hundred dollars for this gift that actually turned into an INSULT to the recipient! I would call to complain but, I already know it would be a waste of time because I actually reached out to them before they were delivered and had to relay my message through a third party.

Called and spent 30 min trying to work something else out. Sending flowers I don’t want 4 days later to a friend in the hospital. Got another email that these new flowers not available. Called again and Tried to cancel. Got the runaround saying cancellation policy doesn’t apply. They tried to offer me a discount instead. After an hour and multiple negotiations finally got the rep who had a rooster crowing in the background and had to “talk to my manager” several times to refund my money. I think they might have recorded me saying yes so now I’m watching out for identity theft and use of my card. NEVER using again. Run away.

My children and I were extremely excited to place this floral arrangement with Avas Flowers for my parents, their grandparents. Today is their 69th Wedding Anniversary! I received the text it was delivered. When my Mother showed me via FaceTime the arrangement, I could see she wasn't too happy with the appearance. I definitely wasn't happy. It did not look at all, like the beautiful large Pastel Grace and Wonder arrangement we had ordered. We even paid extra for a matching bow, and they had left that off as well. I went on their website to let them know my concerns, they reimbursed me for the matching bow. I couldn't help but notice next to my arrangement was another one my parents received. It was stunning! I asked my mother where did it come from. She told me Final Touch on 20 Designer Street in Kingstree. I will be placing future orders with them.
Tomorrow is my mother's birthday! We had also placed an order for the large Thoughtful Tidings Basket, with a matching bow which was to be delivered today as well. I thought it was strange, they didn't deliver both orders at the same time. So I waited, and waited, and called my mother. She didn't receive her birthday gift, the fruit basket. I called to get an update, the Agent informed me that it would not be delivered today, which I was assured it would be, prior to me placing the order. I expressed my disappointment. The Agent reimbursed me $11.25, which I think is unacceptable. The Agent said it would be delivered Monday, a day after my mother's birthday.
I had ordered from them years ago and wasn't satisfied, but I believe in second chances. I was really hoping they had improved on their service and performance. After spending over $250, I wouldn't recommend this company to no one, and would advise any floral cooperation to remove them as a vendor. They are not a good representation of any company through an online service. This would be my last time ever placing an order with them.

I received an email from them the day before it was to be delivered which state "Regrettably, due to the current seasonality and limited availability of specific blooms, we find ourselves unable to fulfill the exact arrangement you ordered. However, we are committed to ensuring your occasion remains special. Our skilled team is collaborating with top designers to craft a bespoke bouquet tailored specifically for Sierra. With their creative expertise, they will curate a stylish and sophisticated arrangement using only the freshest seasonal blooms, ensuring it equals or exceeds the value of the originally selected bouquet". On the day the flowers were delivered, they weren't in anyway close to what I ordered and, as a matter of fact, the flowers came from Schnucks.

I was called that there was a floral order for me to be delivered. I was out of town. They said you can either choose a dozen roses, a dozen mixed colored roses or roses and mixed flowers and if you choose this option your sender will save 20 percent. I opted for the roses and missed flowers saving 20 percent. When the flowers were delivered, they were wilted daisies with NOT a single rose. I called the 800 number, emailed the manager (Jlagamon) a picture. Never heard back. Called 2 more times and was told upper management would call me back in 30 minutes. NO CALL FROM ANYONE! The flowers aren't worth $7 from the grocery store. THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!! WOULD NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM!

I ordered flowers on 01/19/2024, that were supposed to be delivered on 01/22/2024, before 3 PM. The viewing was on 01/22/2024 from 4-8 PM and the flowers didn't arrive. The funeral mass was on 01/23/2024 at 11 AM, then a military honors burial at 12: 30 PM and still no flower delivery. When I called for a refund they said "Oh we are sorry the flowers were not delivered. The florist that was supposed to deliver the flowers had an issue and couldn't deliver the flowers on the date you requested". I said ok, so I would like a full refund.
The flowers were never delivered and the funeral arrangements are over now. I have no need for the flowers. They offered me a $25 dollar refund and to let them know where to deliver the flowers. Again, I requested a full refund and they refused. The flowers were eventually delivered to my uncle's house 3 days after the funeral services. I paid $140 for flowers that never arrived. Then they give me a measly $25 refund for the inconvenience. I would not recommend Avas Florist to anyone. Save yourself a headache, use a more reputable company, even if it costs a bit more.

I ordered flowers for my daughter’s Birthday, she lives 8 hours away so I wanted them to be special. What she got and what I ordered were 2 entirely different things. I was embarrassed and I could have bought a better flower arrangement at my local grocery store for $25 instead of the $112 I spent at Avas Flowers. They offered me a $15 credit and I told them I didn’t want anything because I would not be using their service ever again. I feel like I got cheated and just wanted them made aware of the situation.

I have ordered three different arrangements in the last two weeks. The first order was not delivered until seven days later and was NOT the arrangement ordered. I paid in full $69.93 and was given two options. First option, was to switch out the arrangement delivered. Second, to be given one half of my money back. Sure, I said, I will accept half of my money back. I was given $20.00 back. Just so terrible!

I made an order for my mom 75 birthday of a very beautiful arrangement that cost me a huge amount of money-but I figured you only turned 75 once right?! Midmorning I receive a text telling me that they don't have the supplies to make my arrangement and how would I like to proceed so I call. When I call, I get weird runaround and put on hold then disconnected after I told her if they couldn't deliver it today, just cancel. Then I have to call back and wait on hold and I'm getting very mad by now. Trying not to be angry and matter-of-factly told them, "If you can't send what I ordered in the timeframe I ordered it cancel because it was too expensive to be messing around."
I kept getting put on hold. Lots of negotiation. Very clear I wanted to cancel, then when she finally accepted, I would cancel I had to wait on hold so she could get the information ready to cancel it. Was very worried. I would be hung up on again, but finally got money back. Was able to call local florist get arrangements sent to my mom in less than two hours for half the price. Don't even waste your time.

I ordered a funeral wreath and then the memorial service was canceled due to hospitalization of the surviving spouse. Avas did contact me for an alternate delivery address, but then the wreath was never delivered. When I spoke with customer service, the representative was apologetic but then didn’t seem to understand that I didn’t need the wreath delivered on the day that I called. She finally understood that the memorial service was yet to be rescheduled and agreed to send me an email so that I could contact Avas with the new date. I received no email - I checked my Junk folder as instructed - so I went to their website. I found the customer service links to be unhelpful as I filled out the information requested but still received no form of communication from them. They had good reviews on some other websites but I wish I had seen the poor ones here. DON’T use this business!

The absolute worst flower experience! Don’t deliver on time … Took 5 days to receive an order that was placed 2 days in advance so they could get delivered on time but it is a circus to find out where the flowers are. They did not deliver to the requested office address and 2 days I asked if they could change the address to home address. YES .... 5 days later she received them at her office address .... They will not allow you to cancel order so be careful and I STRONGLY suggest that you just go to a florist and pick up flowers in person!

First time used. Sending flowers to a friend going through difficult time. Cost was about $100 for everything. At the night before I was contacted to choose another bouquet on them. I chose the dozen roses. When delivery was made it was not the original bouquet nor the roses they said they would substitute at no charge but some wilted daises or something. Stay away…. I don’t see a way to submit the photos.

DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM AVAS FLOWERS. This was the most painful experience I have ever had ordering over the phone. Usually when I order Flowers the total transaction takes ten to 15 minutes, even when I special order. The call to order took 45 minutes. I wanted a bouquet of flowers in a vase. I was told I couldn't order what I wanted. Quote from the person taking the order, "This is what I have ordered for you".
There is so much more to the story, but I will keep it short. After almost giving up on the verbal messaging challenge, the order was placed. I texted my son to let me know when the flowers arrived. He sent a picture of his fiance holding the flowers. BTW, I had charged close to $60 to my credit card. It looked like someone had gone to the Stop and Shop, picked out the last $15 bunch of wilted flowers and sent those. NO VASE. I was so embarrassed I called my future daughter in law and apologized for such a shoddy presentation.
After getting off the phone from another 45 minute conversation with a supervisor, my frustration was palpable. So I gave myself some time, before I composed this review. I thought I had done my due diligence, but had mixed up, in my mind, the florist that I thought had received glowing reviews with this shop. Judging from the other reviews that Floras Flowers has received, there are quite a few people as unhappy as I am.

My boyfriend tried to surprise me with flowers and they called me and ruined the surprise. They were supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday and they called me Thursday asking if flowers have been delivered, I had no clue what they were talking about because I didn't get them. They continued to call me and ask if they were delivered, a week later they never were. They would call me and say they would be delivered that day, no time given, just told me to be home. Not sure who can just sit around at home 24/7 for a week straight but that's what they told me I should be doing. They were very rude when and not apologetic at all.

I ordered red and white spray for my daughter in law grandmother who passed away and owns the mortuary where I asked to have the flower arrangement delivered. They never received the arrangement and after 5 days of trying to get a delivery confirmation they sent me a forged piece of paper you cannot make out a name. I know some signatures you can’t read the name but no one at the mortuary signs like that. It is a family business and they would have liked to receive the flowers in honor of the owner. I went to the funeral and my arrangement was not there. They stole my money.

This is probably the Worst experience I've ever had with having flowers delivered to my granddaughter for her birthday. I ordered a beautiful bouquet. It's called sun, moon and star costing me a $103 and ended up with 5 yellow roses in a blue vase. They told me on the phone that they will replace it within the hour. 3 hours later I called and they said the driver was in my area. I never heard back and they never answered my call after that. I received an invoice via email saying my order had been delivered and closed.

I ordered a floral arrangement to send to my friend of over 30 years whose mother passed away. I spent $150 in total for an arrangement. What arrived at the funeral parlor was an embarrassment. I was ashamed of the arrangement. I called customer service and all they offered me was $50! It wasn't bad enough that I was grieving the loss of a woman that was like a mother to me but to have that arrangement arrive in that condition is absolutely horrible!!!! My boyfriend had placed an order for a bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear to be sent to me with specifically a note and stated hand delivered, which he said he paid extra for. During the order, he also requested that it had full of flowers. He had text me that day and asked me if I had received anything and when I checked, it was sitting outside on the porch on a rainy, windy day, and a clear, glass vase and a teddy bear thrown in an old Walmart bag when I brought it upstairs I have to say it was going to be hard for me to let him know how awful and plain this bouquet of roses are And the teddy bear had the price tag still on it for five dollars and he said he paid an extra $18 for that bear. Which was really a dragon with horns. Although he was embarrassed, I asked him how much it cost and he said it was $137 for something I wouldn’t even pay $20 for.
Although this was a surprise, I took into matters in my hands and requested that they give him a full refund and told him I will return their bouquet of flowers to the location it was sent from and after about an hour we’re running around they finally issued a refund And then said that someone will come and pick it up yet they didn’t give us a date or time so that’s their problem because I’m not gonna sit home waiting. This was a terrible experience and although my boyfriend felt bad, I know the thought that counts, and I love him, but I would never order from this place again.

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, I ordered a Large red, white, and blue sympathy floral standing basket for my friend's husband's veteran funeral that was scheduled for Sunday, January 7th at 11:00 AM - I paid to have it delivered to the Funeral Home on Saturday, the 6th by 5:00 PM to be sure it arrived on time. I received an email confirmation of my order with a photo of the item I ordered.
Shortly after the funeral on January 7th, my friend texted and thanked me for the lovely Peace Lily my family had sent and I was shocked. PEACE LILY? I texted her back and said "You got a Peace Lily? Please send me a photo of it and the card that came with it.” She confirmed by sending me a photo of the lily and the card with my family's message inside from Williams Florist 2 in Charlotte, NC.
I tried to find a phone number for AVAS FLOWERS but they don't seem to have a phone number anywhere online. It’s like they are hiding it because their service is abysmal. I am beyond upset that my friend's veteran husband did not receive the flowers we ordered to honor him for his service to our country and that I was not contacted and given a chance to cancel my order and order from a florist that COULD deliver the arrangement I ordered. It's not like you can ask for a redo of a funeral. What a disastrous experience.
I used AVA’s contact form on their website to complain. They offered me a $30 credit on a $140 flower arrangement. I said that was unacceptable and I wanted the Peace Lily picked up, and the arrangement I paid for delivered to my friend, and that I wanted proof of delivery in the form of a photo of my friend with the flowers, or her signature on the delivery receipt that she should also have a copy of. They very reluctantly agreed.
I received a phone call on the morning of January 11th saying my order was delivered yesterday, January 10, 2024 to my friend at her home. I texted my friend, and asked if she had received the delivery. She said she did NOT receive the flowers and that nobody from the florist had called her and she knew they were supposed to call ahead because they are to pick up the Peace Lily that was delivered instead of what I had ordered.
I called AVAS Flowers back on the number my phone captured and said I had a call that the flowers had been delivered to my friend but that it wasn’t true, that I talked with her and she doesn’t have them. Ava’s said that they had to hear that from my friend, so I waited on hold while they called her. They said they didn’t know why I had gotten that call because they only communicate by email on the status updates of orders. They said they would investigate and make sure the order was going out to my friend. I said to please request proof of delivery; preferably a picture of my friend with the flowers I ordered for her husband’s funeral this past Sunday.
On the morning of January 11th Ava’s sent an email saying the flowers had been delivered and that they would be sending over the proof of delivery I requested by email. I immediately texted my friend to ask if she had received the flowers and she said NO. That nobody had called and nobody had come to the house. I CALLED Ava’s and complained that they had not told the truth once again because my friend had NOT received the flowers and I never got the proof of delivery. Ava’s said they would investigate.
About 4 hours later, my friend called me to say she was home all day and she could see the front door from the chair she sits it. Her insurance agent came that afternoon and when my friend answered her front door, the agent held up the flower arrangement and said “Someone left this flower arrangement SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR DRIVEWAY DOWN BY THE MAILBOX.” I immediately contacted Ava’s and asked for the proof of delivery.
Today, January 12th, they finally emailed it to me at 5:37 PM. The proof of delivery was not what was promised. The proof of delivery was a photo of her mailbox, and the reason for that is that the local florist (probably Williams again) did NOT call Millie to make sure she would be home, they did NOT go to the house and knock or ring the doorbell or try her cell number. They did NOT leave the flowers at her front door or anywhere near her house.
My friend lives on a heavily traveled street, and the florist was probably hoping that someone would stop and steal the flower arrangement so my friend would never get it and then fall back on the photo of her mailbox as proof they delivered the flowers to her. I cannot begin to find the words to describe what a nightmare this whole thing has been. I am surprised this company is still allowed to be in business. I am NOT surprised their company pays for sponsored ads on Google but does NOT have a Google Business page where people can leave reviews. But I see now they have very negative reviews in a lot of other places online, and I should have checked those places out first. I wish there was a way to post the photos I have of everything.

Placed a maternity order on their website for flowers. Confirmation received. I waited 24 hrs and still no update on the order. Waited 36 hrs and still no update. Trying to canceled and received an email that someone would reach out shortly. 2 hrs later no one reached out. (All this during business hours). Called and waited 20 minutes. Got a human and told her I wanted to cancel. She sent the call to voicemail. Then I received a text that it was disconnected, when in fact it wasn’t. Then I had to wait again, still currently on hold. You’d think if they can send a text they would try to call you back. Oh wait customer service wasn’t there from the start why would it be better at the end?

2nd attempt at posting this review. Like many many reviews before mine stated I wish I’d checked the reviews before placing an order and & I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Ordered flowers for my BFF’s birthday 1/8/24 for same day service to deliver to her at work. I received a text stating that there was an issue with my order and to call asap.
Called and after being passed around several times finally got to have a conversation with someone about my order. Was told that they didn’t have the flowers for the arrangement online and if I would approve a Designer’s Choice selection that would be similar and beautiful. Said yes as long as delivered on time today. Promised that they would be. Okay, thought about it called back to cancel since it was close to 2pm and probably wouldn’t be delivered before close of business.
1st phone call guy placed me on hold then after a couple of minutes hung up on me. Called back. 2nd time finally got someone that I could actually understand. Tried to cancel, offered me $10, $15, $20, $25...to keep order, which I refused, then since I wouldn’t accept a partial refund, said I’d already approved a substitution so the system wasn’t allowing a cancellation. Seriously! Didn’t believe it for a minute. She confirmed that the order had neither been fulfilled nor delivered. And said that I’d agreed to a next day delivery which was a blatant lie and not even mentioned by the previous agent. That would’ve been an immediate NO. Why agree to send flowers the day after the birthday. Just no.
Save yourself the frustration of dealing with these people and go local which by the way is what I believed that I was doing. They don’t have a brick and mortar at any location. I believe they lure you in with the designs online and try to get someone local to make it for half the price that they charge you which is why the arrangements are small and completely different from what’s online. If by some miracle my BFF receives the arrangement today (at this point ever - expectations are low) I’ll definitely be shocked. I’ve already kissed the $80 plus I spent goodbye.

They were delayed. Then asked if they could substitute roses for lilies. Sure, as long as it was still similar. Still not close at all. The photo shows a dozen roses plus 6+ lilies, and then a bunch of carnations. It came with 6-ish roses. When I complained, it took them a long time to get back to me. It was $100 arrangement. They took off $39.

Purchased Christmas arrangement for in-laws as I do every year. I thought I would try them out. Selected what arrangement I was interested in and with free delivery the order came to $96 Service charge. Anyway, I always ask my in-laws to send a picture. How disappointed I was to see what was delivered. If you don't have 3rd end parties that can make the arrangement, you shouldn't be using them. I sent pictures to customer service with no response. Ok, live and learn. So then they send me a survey. I told them of my disappointment. Their reply was "because I didn't reach out to them within 48 hrs all they would is give me $20 toward future purchases". Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. So, you can be sure that I won't be ordering from them.

They will promise same day delivery when you order online and pretend to be a local shop. They are not and will not get the arrangement you selected. After I ordered they said they said they would send alternate arrangement and when I tried to cancel the rep wouldn't let me. I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered.

I used Avas Flowers to send flowers to a friend who doesn’t have long to live. Using a local company, I thought the flowers would be more prolific and exactly like the picture. With much disappointment, the flowers were drab and sparse. I spoke with several customer service agents who tried to resolve the issues without success. Avas offered a 50% discount, but that is not the point. I would rather have the product that I ordered. I DO NOT recommend this company. They’re not concerned for their consumers and offer an inferior product.

Terrible experience. Sent flowers to my mother after surgery and paid for a "regular" sized arrangement as shown in the picture. Instead they sent a "small" that was less than half the size. After calling to complain, they promised to send a replacement and never did. I paid $100 for what was 3 flowers and a bunch of leaves.

I ordered a floral arrangement and added a Mylar balloon for my friends birthday. At the time of my order, I was promised that it would be delivered on 12/30 and that I will be notified via email when it was delivered. I did not receive any notifications concerning delivery. So I went online to research if it was delivered. No info was found there. I was desperate to get answers because I paid $90 plus but then it recommended I use their chatbot. Waste of time, chatbot can only do the minimum and it didn’t answer my question about delivery. Very frustrated at this point.
On 12/31 I received a phone call from one of their agents (Jeff). There was so much noise pollution in the background I could not hear Jeff. When I asked what’s all that popping noise, he told me it was fireworks and he was sorry. I asked him to move to a new location or indoors, but he didn’t care, he kept on apologizing. So irritating! Worst customer service I’ve encountered in my life. I told Jeff that this service was unacceptable but he didn’t care. After waiting 10 minutes, I was then transferred to an executive person named Pamela. She was nice, but made excuses and kept on apologizing. Customers want results, not excuses. After the phone conversation which quite frankly didn’t solve the issue. I requested a refund on delivery. I’ll be curious what they do. Customer service is terrible. They don’t follow-up or do what they promised. I will never order from Avas again and do not recommend this company.

I purchased a LARGE bouquet of different colored roses for my mom for her birthday and what she received looked nothing like the bouquet I ordered. From the looks of the reviews here, I'm probably not going to get my money back. The sizes of the roses were all different sizes and the roses were all the same color with tons of leaves. It looks like they didn't try. Overall, very very disappointed. DO NOT buy from this company.

We had a death in the family and I sent the widow a Peace Lily Plant from Avas Flowers. The picture online showed several white lilies on the plant. They advertised a $9.99 delivery fee which sounded reasonable. What they don't tell you is they tacked on another $24 "service fee." While outrageous, I had already spent time picking the plant, writing the sympathy card, etc. so I placed the order. The recipient sent me a picture of the plant she received. It is a big, green plant with ZERO flowers on it. No blooms. No fully opened flowers. Nothing.
When you call Avas, you get transferred and bounced around. Placed on hold. Then you speak with representatives that do not speak very good English. The rep I spoke to had no interest in seeing the pictures I had. She just wanted to open a ticket and have the "designer" check on the quality. What? I'm out $100 and have very little faith they will make this right. And my family member is stuck with a sympathy looking beanstalk. :-(

I thought I was ordering from a local florist but as it turned out Ava’s Flowers was not a family owned local florist as it advertised on their website. I placed an order for a premium 20” table top Christmas flower tree for our daughter. They even advertised free delivery! The florist charged a $25.00 service fee plus tax the order came to $125.00! So much for free delivery! The tree was delivered but it was this little 12” tree that was listed on their website costing $32.00! I called customer service and they said they would redeliver a new tree and take back the old tree.
The guy came to the door to pick up the old tree but didn’t have a replacement tree. My daughter said he couldn’t have it without a new tree and said, "Call your manager.' He said, "I don’t have his number." So I called customer service back to complain and they said they would deliver a new tree. Long story short they delivered a tree in a little bucket that I could have made myself! It was not worth $82.00 as advertised and not sure where this company is located but will never use them again! Beware!

In the past I had had good service from Avas, but this last experience was awful. I got repeated texts and emails asking me to contact them but the phone number provided was a recording that they were closed. EVENTUALLY — and 6 days late — my order was delivered. What irks me is that they charge a $24 service fee for this very poor service. I asked for a refund, but the most they would give me was $11. Moreover the product I ordered was on the website but was unavailable. Bad business practice!

Ordered a floral arrangement on 12-13-23 for delivery on 12-23-23. Never arrived. Was told they had to 7 pm to deliver. Never happened. On 12-24 was told they didn't have the material to make that arrangement and wanted to substitute roses. Promised delivery that day. Nothing. Just called me 12-26-23 and wanted to deliver today. Because Avas Flowers' website was not user-friendly, I ended up having to phone. The person continuously tried to upsell. It was annoying because I knew exactly what I wanted. On top of the cost of the flowers, fees were added for everything including the gift card enclosure. She tried to charge me for shipping even though the site said free shipping. When I refused to pay for shipping she said maybe the flowers would be delivered that day--she couldn't promise. However, they were delivered but were NOT the same as pictured. They do provide a disclaimer that product may not be exactly as described on their website but the difference was shocking! Ended up costing almost $100.00 and was half the size. I would have done better at Costco. Trouble was, I live in Canada and had to have the flowers delivered. I strongly urge anyone tempted to use this shop to reconsider--they are NOT ethical.

3) The final bill was $82.00+ with free delivery. Why the extra $34.01? Perhaps a bit of tax, but the rest is due to “service fees”??? Service fees were charged for “fresh” flowers! What do you usually sell? Scam?
4) Was asked to call and confirm the agreement with the swap to roses. Spoke to John on 12/22? (I don’t even like roses!) I agreed. Delivery was to be 12/23. I asked if my son - who lives less than 3 miles from the shop!) could come and pick the flowers up as they were heading to CT that night. I was told no.
5) Within 10 minutes (I reviewed my call log) I called back & spoke to Erica & asked to change the delivery date from 12/23 to 12/27. This was on 12/22. She confirmed that the date had been changed.
6) 12/23 I received a confirmation email that the flowers had been delivered!!!
7) I called Ava’s 6 times today to resolve this issue. The IVR hung up on me five times!!! Yet you wanted me to take a survey? Seriously?
8) Final call was a “Supervisor” (with a toddler yelling in the background so it was difficult to hear!) who did not resolve this issue to my satisfaction and was inflexible as well as implied that I was not treating Ava’s fairly! 9) The Supervisor instructed me to call someone to pick up the flowers and hold them until my recipient returns on the 27th. Really? I live in Maine. They live in a new house in MA. How am I supposed to know their neighbors?
10) At this time, I am paying half price for roses that will be frost-bitten and dying when my recipient returns home. I ask you - how am I supposed to be happy, delighted, or satisfied with THAT?

I ordered the white roses on the white satin pillows, cross and heart. The flowers are stapled to a white cardboard cutout for $44.99 each. Delivery is $24.99. I recommend using a florist that guarantees the product that you ordered, without any substitutions. There are also no refunds.

They allow you to choose your delivery date but it doesn’t mean a thing. I have called 4 days straight and they give you the runaround and tell you they will deliver. They keep taking orders they cannot fill and someone needs to shut them down! I have never encountered such incompetence, or lack of customer service. They make dealing with the government like a walk in the park. Now I’m stuck, my 93 year old Mother will go without a Christmas present from her family. Thanks for ruining what could be her last Christmas as I won’t have time to get a gift delivered in time.

How I wish I had not relied on reviews that were listed on Ava's' website. They are **. I ordered a Holiday Flower Tree, which cost $100. The tree did not resemble the online photo. There were NO vivid red flowers, just a few dark pink carnations. They used more big white flowers to make do, resulting in a very disappointing, underwhelming display. I could go on. Suffice it to say, I do NOT recommend this business. They should retire.

We order 5 12 roses arrangements and we got them with only 4 roses or 3 on one of them when it suppose to be 12 roses. We also order 30 ballons and got only 10. Also paid for fast delivery. 20 extra dollars to be in a time frame the birthday person will be at that location and they delivered 8 hrs later from before 1 pm to 7 pm and we tried to call them multiple times and no luck on getting an answer back at all.

I ordered a family flower spray for my father's funeral on 12/16 for delivery on 12/18 by 10:00am at the church. Upon my arrival at the church, I noticed first of all that the flowers were not there. In the middle of the service, I receive a text message from them stating there was an issue with delivery!!! I contacted them on the next morning and was informed that the arrangement was never made. I asked how they were going to make this right...the best they could come up with was a wicker flower basket to have in the home. I told them several times that I wanted something comparable but a wicker basket was the best they could offer!!! Refund me my money!!!

The flowers that I ordered for a funeral were nothing like what was delivered. The worst thing was the card. I typed "May tender memories soften your grief". In very sloppy writing, the card read, "thunder your grief". I was so embarrassed. I called to complain, and was offered $10, and they would call the recipients to apologize. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I said no, and $10 would not cut it. She said she couldn't go any higher, and I said that is still not enough. We spent $125 for what?? She then said, "well, I could go $20". Again, I said, "Not enough". She put me on hold, and came back to say, "I can do $25, but no more". I finally gave up, and thought that I would look at reviews. I was supposed to receive a delivery for my birthday - they updated them in the system for the one that ordered them, that they were delivered and they were not! They are liars. They are childish and do not offer discounts to make anything right. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! You will be disappointed and so will the one you order them for. Avas Flowers is absolutely a ripoff. I did a Google search for local florist near me. Avas Flowers was the first choice. They claim to have local affiliates but say it's against policy to say who they are. When I entered my information and placed an order an additional $24+ was added. I called and was told it was for handling charges. The web site say free delivery. I said I wanted to cancel the order but they kept me on until they said the additional charges would be removed and the flowers would be delivered by 7pm that day. They never arrived. I spent about an hour being transferred between representatives. Just to cancel the order. They’re absolutely terrible.

I have to update my review in all fairness to this company. My recipient did receive my flowers from this company after all. The card that I sent with the flowers did not have my name on it so they didn’t know who they were from. The picture that the company sent of the flowers sitting in front of their home helped to solve this. I did call to apologize to the company for not believing they had delivered the flowers.
I am still giving only three stars due to the size of the bouquet that I paid for. I chose a large option and from the picture this arrangement was not that big. They also added a $26.00 fee. I’m still not sure why the card did not have my name on it but I’m not going to contact my recipient again who is mourning the death of a loved one. I also want to say the customer service representatives was a positive one. Girls were very courteous and patient.

I went online to order flowers from what I thought was a local florist in Carlsbad Ca. This sympathy arrangement was to be delivered the next day. I got a confirmation that it was delivered but after a few days of not hearing from my recipient I called to find out it had not been delivered at all. I called and called customer service who told me that it has been delivered. This company uses affiliate companies to deliver but they will not tell you who it is. I notified American Express of what I would consider a scam company. Beware of online ordering. Call the Florist directly and ask where they are located before ordering.

Sneaky pricing. They bury an extremely high service charge at the very end of the checkout process. The service fee info does not show up before that in any way. They will not refund the order or the service fee either. They say they are a local florist, but they are not the florist. They are a third-party company that puts in orders with local florists. Save yourself the money and go straight to an actual local florist.

Hi, my order was canceled and delivered anyway after repeated requests. I needed the order same day and was promised that it would be delivered and thereafter it was a nightmare, tracking the order and getting honesty and professionalism. I have requested a block with my credit card company, but not much surprised when I read my story on social media several hundred times. You obviously are a criminal enterprise and I intend to take this to every level I can because it’s clear to me that you could care less about your feedback on social media. I’m going to see if I can have you shut down and held accountable with my attorney and attorney general's office.
They will come for you legally. I’m asking you once again to refund my money. You delivered this order three days after I was guaranteed I would have it delivered or you would accept a cancellation. A week after I expected my flower delivery had been made, I realized I never received a confirmation of delivery. I called AVAS and they didn't know, and asked me if it was delivered (they didn't know...??). I checked with the recipient of the delivery who said they didn't receive it, so I called the company back. Several phone calls later - I still don't have resolution. Poor customer service, didn't follow through on an order, and my aunt still doesn't have her birthday flowers. Very disappointing. I would expect not only follow through with the delivery (albeit late), and a full refund. I'm not confident I will get either one. I do not recommend this business.

I ordered a beautiful Christmas tree arrangement from Avas' website. On top of the price of the arrangement, there is a service fee & a delivery fee which that alone was $40 not including the arrangement. When the arrangement arrived, it was nothing close to what was online. It was not a Xmas tree at all. It only had 2 flowers a bunch of greenery & 2 candy canes. It was supposed to have ornaments & carnations. The pot was plastic & kept tipping over. What a disappointment & embarrassment when this was delivered for all the money that was spent. Went to purchase a holiday flower arrangement on behalf of my mom for her best friend as a gift. Website advertises "free delivery with code." It's not free delivery they will add an unacceptable service charge to upcharge you. My mother loved the arrangement so I went ahead and ordered it for her friend. Within minutes, I received a text message "URGENT" stating they could not give me the holiday arrangement but offered me something similar. The choices were summer flowers and definitely no holiday theme. I had the option to cancel if I didn't like the choices. I tried but the "cancel order" choice did not work. I tried to cancel online and the result was "unable to cancel due to delivery processing" nonsense. I called, you could not get a live human. When I added my order number the message states "unable to find."
I immediately contacted the credit card company, disputed the charge immediately, and I ordered a new card in the event of fraudulent activity. But wait, there's more. A few moments later, a representative who I could barely understand called. She tried to push one of the summer flowers on me, I said, "No, please cancel." She continued to try and sales pitch me stating she'll remove the service charge, then, she'll remove the taxes, then, she'll see if another florist can do a different design for an additional fee. I said, "Cancel." I asked her to cancel (which was an option they gave me to begin with) at least 7 times.
Finally, she put me on hold, then came back after several minutes. She tried again to sell me one of the summer flowers, I said, "For the last time, cancel my order." I should have read the reviews before ordering. The ending of the conversation was basically, "Okay, I'll cancel and refund your order." I have yet to see this on my credit card transactions as a credit. Unbelievable.

Placed the order for a funeral arrangement to be delivered at the time of the viewing - Ordered late but the order went right through, confirmation was received that the flowers would be delivered that day -- 2 hours later I am receiving an email stating that the flowers would not be delivered due to some type of an issue with the funeral home times, which was total nonsense! When I called I was told there were no delivery drivers, so the flowers would not be delivered but they could deliver them GRAVESIDE the following day. Was not satisfied but at this point I had no other options.
I ordered the flowers locally which the website stated that if ordered in Kilmarnock, they would be delivered that day, in fact the florist is just down the street from the funeral home and they could not walk their backsides down and drop them off - delivery was needed. I then received an urgent text that evening to contact them immediately at which time - dealing with the same uneducated person I dealt with earlier in the day - was told that the flowers were not delivered, which I already knew, I asked to speak to a manager.
Eventually he connected me to a manager who was super courteous, wanted to help, promised me she would personally be sure that the flowers would arrive, I would receive an email with the picture of the arrangement once delivered (PS I NEVER DID). She promised me she would follow up personally, which never happened. I only received a $20.00 credit on an arrangement which was almost $75.00 ($25.00 processing fee - for WHAT?!!!). The only way I know they arrived as they pulled up just in time for the GRAVESIDE service and handed them to a family member - UNPROFESSIONAL AT BEST - I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. I spent more of my time on this $75.00 arrangement than credited and their promises were not kept - They just don't seem to care - STAY CLEAR OF THIS FLORAL SERVICE!!!!

I'm on the telephone right now for over an hour with their customer service transferring me to 4 different people. It is now 2:05 pm and I'm still on the phone with yet another lady telling me they can't get the flowers deliver today and they can deliver them tomorrow. This is a birthday bouquet and balloons. The birthday is today. I told her to forget about it and credit my account. She proceeded to say she will send them tomorrow. I'm told my account has been credited and I don't see this happened just yet. To be continued. This is a future no brainer for all of you that want to send flowers. Stay away from this company.

I would NEVER tell someone to use this company for flower arrangements. I ordered flowers for a funeral service. The service was held on a Saturday and I asked for the arrangement to be delivered on Friday to make sure they would be there for the viewing and service. Keep in mind I order this on November 8th to be delivered on November 10th. WELL to my surprise I received an email on NOVEMBER 27th that the arrangement was NOT delivered, but they did refund our money!!! How nice to refund the money on a product that was never received!!!! Flowers DID NOT Arrive. An order was placed, with a few undisclosed fees until time for payment. I Proceeded regardless because we needed a flower arrangement for a funeral in a timely fashion. Received an email stating they were delivered. Called funeral home to verify and there was NO DELIVERY. After a grueling morning back and forth on the phone they said they would investigate. Finally, after I called the funeral home I discovered there was in fact a delivery. The piece was NOT exactly what I ordered but at least there was something. Order 2 arrangements for a loss of their loved one. They advertised same day delivery. The charges are outrageous. They tacked on a Service fee of 29 dollars plus a 10 dollar delivery fee so a 52 dollar order cost 96 dollars. That’s ok if you get great service but they never delivered the flowers the same day. I called them and they said they had some driver issues and were so sorry. I told them I wanted a refund on both of my orders and they offered to give a courtesy call to the families and a 20 percent discount. I told them it was too late. I want a refund so she puts me on hold and comes back on the line she said she refunded me. So I asked her did you refund for both of my orders..Well quess what, nope she only refunded one of them. My friend finished chemo and I sent her a bouquet via Avas Flowers as they advertise they sell flowers from "local florists" and I wanted her to receive a beautiful bouquet. I ordered for next day delivery, which did not happen but wasn't even the main issue here. My friend asks me if I had sent her flowers via DoorDash from the supermarket (King Sooper). I said, "No. That was not me, I ordered from a florist." She shows me the card which is my name. They literally just DoorDashed her a grocery store bouquet of flowers.
I spent 81$ to get her something really nice, and they quite literally scammed me. The bouquet was nothing like the picture, and obviously from a chain supermarket. I could have done that myself. When I called customer service, they put me on hold and called the recipient (without telling me). She was nice and said she liked the flowers, which they used as their case for there being "clearly no issues." Please do not give this company your money.

This place is truly scamming people. I actually spoke with a person from Avas Flowers for my Mother's Funeral. I got the number from which I thought was a true website. The person I spoke with even told me she was a local florist is Union City, CA. I place 3 orders, an Arrangement for the Urn, Heart Wreath and a Round wreath totaling $633.00. The day of the Funeral Mass on 10/25/2023 at 11:00 NO FLOWERS arrived from Avas Flowers. I was literally on hold before the procession started in the church.
After the fact, that evening I was given the RUN AROUND from fake employees at a Call Center pretending they were getting to the bottom of it.... They blamed it on the (pretend) local florist saying the flowers were delivered - which were not (I confirmed with the Church). They were probably hoping I would just give up and kiss my money goodbye, which I did not. Luckily I contacted my Bank's fraud unit and they were able to assist me and refunded my money - thank God for them! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Lesson learned, I will only walk into a local florist to order any type of arrangements.

This was for my daughter's 13th birthday as a gesture that I love her even though she won't speak to me. Thanks for further damaging our relationship. Then i tried to contact someone to fix it. I called to order flowers for my Cousin's birthday. I told the customer service representative that I would only order if I could get same day delivery. She placed me on hold and called the local florist. She assured me I would get same day service. The flowers didn't arrive as promised, instead arrived late the next day. I called customer service and all they did was apologize. They offered me a $15 dollar credit, but when they realized I had used a coupon lowered it to $10. When I ordered the flowers, I picked out flowers shown on their web page, but the Rep told me the price quoted was for the smaller size, but pictured was the larger size. Buyer beware!! Was going through the Net with a search for flower delivery in another State. Came across Avas Flowers which looked like it had great reviews. Ordered flowers on a Thursday for delivery Friday. Didn't hear from the recipient so on Wednesday called to see if the flowers were delivered. Recipient said no. Called Avas on Thursday and they said it was delivered but no one could verify and they would try contacting the florist. Now on Friday, I called Avas again, they said they would try to deliver again on Friday. Friday night, No delivery.
Called Saturday morning, and Avas said the driver for the flowers had the bouquet on the truck but for some reason returned to shop with flowers. Gave Avas recipient phone number and while online they called and verified address and such. Was told delivery would be today. Called Avas on Saturday evening and still no delivery. Asked for Manager and all manager could do was offer $15 back and try again on Monday as the florist was now closed and doesn't open on Sunday. 8 days, no flowers. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Why do I have a feeling that if I did receive the flowers that they would look nothing like what I had ordered???

I ordered online with this company because the site stated that they have same day delivery. This is NOT true. I received 6 text messages after my order was placed. I explained to the CSR that my order was time sensitive and had to be delivered same day. They initially stated that there was a problem with the type of flowers I chose. I changed the flowers and was then told that my order couldn't be delivered until the following day. They actually delivered 2 of the 3 orders and the next day I received 3 text messages to contact the florist because there was again a problem with my order. I was then told the last bouquet couldn't be delivered until the next day of which was two days later!!! I have not received my final order.

I ordered a large flower arrangement and paid rush delivery. Worst experience ever. When the flowers were not delivered, I canceled my order. They ignored my request. Instead, Avas Flowers delivered the flowers two days later. The "large" arrangement consisted of just a few flowers. This place should be out of business.

Ordered sprays for a funeral and received the worst flowers I've ever seen. Colors were white, royal blue, and black. The royal blue looked purple and the black was partially spray painted on a white flower, it literally looked like the flowers were burnt. Also, I didn't even receive sprays I received 2 small baskets of flowers. I was at my brother's funeral service on the phone most of the day because they kept passing me from person to person because I wouldn't accept the $20 and $40 discount they were trying to give me. At the end I just settled for 50% reimbursement because I didn't want to continue arguing my point and had to get back to the service. Worst flowers and worst customer service. Yes, I get it, Ava's flowers doesn't actually make the flower arrangements, but come on, at least choose a florist that is professional and knows what they are doing.

I ordered the Blue Sympathy Standing Basket on 08/10/22 for my mother's memorial service to be held on 08/13/22. The delivery was scheduled for 08/12/22 and was on time. The flowers themselves were lovely, but they were not on a stand; which was crucial due to the set-up of location. When the local florist who made the actual delivery was contacted, they informed me that the company (Avas Flowers) made no mention of a stand in the written order and they did not have any stands available which would have meant placing the flower arrangement on the floor. Needless to say, I was very upset. The only saving grace was that the florist had a pedestal that they offered to let our family use. Because of what we experienced as a family (especially during a time of bereavement) I will never use Avas Flowers again.

I have called several times (Order **) never delivered and no refund. Each time they open a ticket to "Investigate" and I get no callback and no credit. They just take your money. It looks like this is their business model based on other reviews.

I called to order flowers for my girlfriend’s birthday. Placed the order on Monday for delivery on Saturday. They were very nice on the phone, promised the delivery would be made Saturday. Explained how important it was that they be delivered on Saturday. As it got later in the day (close to 7pm) the flowers had not been delivered. Tried to call but was directed to customer service which ended up being a menu tree of “Press 1 or 2” and so on. Put my order number in and got a recording that said they were scheduled for delivery and that FedEx or UPS would send me an email confirming delivery. Now I’m getting pissed off because they clearly do not have a person from the florist delivering flowers like most shops. Flowers never arrived.
Back on their website found as option labeled “Where’s My Stuff”…. Put me order number in and got same message… "Will contact you when delivered”. Now it is past the window….her birthday. It’s like buying a car without the wheels attached. I bought a product… flowers with a promised on-time delivery”… Never happened. Now it doesn’t matter… The event has passed… had to apologize to my girlfriend.
Seems to be a scam….there are to many florists out there. What is funny but sad is that they describe themselves as fastest delivery…. The voice on the phone when I ordered had a strong ** accent….if you know anything about the ** mafia, you would quickly think the business is run by them…. Please, learn from my very bad experience and don’t order from them!!!

This must be the worst people to deal with. I ordered 24 red roses for my Wife to celebrate our 32 bday wedding anniversary. The roses were delivered late and in terrible condition I have photos if needed! Do not deal with this company. You will be very disappointed and a complete waste of hard earned money. Very bad service and product.

DO NOT order from AVAS flowers. Everything about this company is terrible. Hidden fees at check-out. Flowers never arrived. Customer support email gave no reason for delayed delivery, saying they were investigating, blaming the local florist- if there even is one. I called customer service 4 times. First one said she would investigate and call back. She didn't. Second one- the call was dropped. Third one- said they couldn't contact the recipient- but nobody ever called. Fourth time, the call was again dropped. I got a follow up email requesting info from me. I responded, to find out it was a "do not reply" email. This is truly a scam. NEVER use AVAS flowers. I will let the credit card company handle the dispute.

I think the pictures will say it all. I ordered the vibrant purple/pink arrangement and they sent the pastel flowers. I understand that they have a substitution policy, but that is ridiculous. Also, the service fee was exorbitant. Never again.

I ordered a large bouquet. The large size was an upgrade from the picture for $10 more. I paid another $9.99 for delivery before 2:00 PM because my wife is a school teacher and I had them delivered to her school. There was a $30 service fee at the end which was a surprise. They did not deliver on time. The delivery was around 6:00 at night after the school day was over. The worst part was the size of the bouquet was embarrassingly tiny. I paid $100 for this bouquet and it had 6 short roses and a couple of mini carnations. I could have bought better flowers from 7-Eleven. I complained online to their customer service complaint form and got no response.
I emailed them pictures of the website bouquet and the actual bouquet delivered and no response. Then I called and the customer service person tried to tell me that since it was more than 48 hours, they could only give me a credit. I refused this since my initial complaint was the same day my wife received the flowers. The representative tried to convince me to have the flowers redelivered. I said no. She offered to refund the money after the florist confirmed that they picked up the garbage flowers. I feel harassed by their poor customer service policies. This entire experience was terrible.
I demanded that they refund the money now so I am not held subject to the pick up from the florist. Eventually, the representative relented and issued the refund. Customer service representatives should not continuously harass customers to prevent them from getting their money back when the company messes up. I'm still waiting to see if the money gets returned to my account.

Ordered a cheerful orange mum arrangement in lt green basket with a bow, based on website photo, for my sister who was hospitalized. Was charged a $24 service fee. Total cost $65. What she received a maroon/brownish sparse mum plant in a lt tan basket. No bow.It looked like something thrown out at the grocery store. Such a depressing product received. I get substitutions may need to happen, but they didn't even try. Idk how this business could be ok delivering the product they did. I feel scammed.

The worse place to ever consider buying flowers from... Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday and the flowers never arrived and I haven't gotten my refund, it's been two weeks since I placed my order. Please don't do business with this company.

Ordered at noon same day express delivery and my wife never got flowers, they ruined my wife's birthday and my day, can't reach nobody to cancel order after 7 30 pm, terrible business, if I can I would leave minus 5 stars review, I hope you get your flowers when somebody order some for your funeral, you guys are worst.

I order a large floral display on a stand for my mothers funeral. Paid >$175 dollars for it. What was delivered was a green table display you could buy at the grocery store for about $30. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. When I called customer service they offered me an upgrade to send to my mom. This was after I explained she was buried yesterday. I asked for a full refund and my call was dropped. Called back, got another agent who wasn’t listening after I told him what happened on the previous call. He had the gall to ask me if I would settle for 50% off!!! I demanded a Supervisor and after a extended hold period finally offered the full refund.
