I ordered flowers for my daughter and agreed to the $9.99 same day delivery fee, however, they tacked on an additional fee for $24.95 for a "service charge". I did not authorize and have now called twice. Both call mysteriously dropped mid-call. I am unable to cancel the order because it was a same day order, but I am pushing back on the service charge as I did not consent to it nor do I know what it is for. Also, it appears the taxes are based off of the all the charges and not just the flowers. Totally regret using them.

THESE ARE NOT LOCAL FLORISTS. They upcharged me triple what the advertised price and costs are. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Flowers weren't even the same color as the arrangement I chose and they put them in a MASON JAR when I paid extra for a vase. ConsumerAffairs warns against this company and so do I. My bad for not reading the reviews.

I ordered over $120 worth of flowers and gifts from Avas Flowers for my Grandmother’s birthday. They charged my card and never delivered the flowers or the gifts! They stole my money! Do not use this store for any gift purchases for your family or loved ones.

Flowers were ordered for the same day delivery, 7 October. A tracking number label, from UPS # **, was created only. There is still nothing turned over to UPS. Avas did not have the bouquet I ordered and offered a substitute. I agreed and it was supposed to be replaced the next day. There was still no flower delivery on 8 October. I have made multiple calls to get this corrected. I have spoken to individuals overseas with all the information I had. They could not see a tracking number and did not know who the carrier would be. I told them who it was and that there was a label created by UPS. I gave them the number and posted my issue in their online chat. I have inquired many times online with the "Where's My Stuff" button on their web page.
My friend who lost her husband still did not receive her flowers. She is in a walker going back and forth to the door and she can barely walk. I asked if the flower delivery person could make sure to wait at the door for her. That was the 9th, and they volunteered to take $20 off the price of the order. I called them again yesterday, the 10th, and they kept telling me the same information. "I'm sorry. I can relay a message and until we have a tracking number there's not much I can do." I gave them the tracking number they originally gave me, again.
Today is the 11th. I received an E-mail stating they now have a tracking number. It still says a label was created. Their policy is to NOT reimburse "same day" orders, and I have 24 hours to cancel. They have taken my money, promised absolutely nothing, and there are still no flowers today. I can't cancel and they can take their time fulfilling their orders. This is bad business. If my friend never gets her order, then they are criminals. This is the second time I have received bad service from them. NEVER again Avas. There is an Avas dot com and an Avas dot net. Do not be fooled.

I paid for rush shipping to guarantee same-day delivery by 2 pm, but this did not happen. I found out from the intended recipient 2 days later that the flowers had not arrived. Called Avas' customer service, and they said the flowers could be delivered the next day (3 days after initially promised). Cost of rush shipping ($10) was refunded, as well as an additional $10 – but not the 25% promised by the customer service agent. Feels like this was intended to be a scam – unclear if anything would have been delivered if I hadn't called.

I ordered a dozen white roses for my cousin's funeral along with a card. I paid extra for the card. Only 6 roses and no card for $113.00. I keep getting email from them for advertisement. I have called and opted out but my email is still being cluttered. You will not get what you ordered plus you can't get rid of them.

The site advertised same day delivery in my zip code area. I paid an upcharge for rush delivery to be certain that my order would be delivered on time. I received a phone call that there was a problem with my order. They can't deliver it in the same day (mind you, I established the order at 0800 local time for the order to be delivered by end of day). Tried calling customer service. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes the line disconnected. Then, I was on with a customer service rep who argued with me about other "deals" or "discounts" and an apology to my intended gift recipient. I repeatedly told this person I was not interested because I was paying for their advertised same day service and they were not delivering that. She continued to argue with me until ultimately she put me back on hold for 15 minutes to cancel the order. What a headache!

Terrible from start to finish. Very hard to get anyone on the phone and when I finally did it wasn’t a good experience.. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They were supposed to call my daughter and explain it was their fault her flowers weren’t delivered ON her birthday but they never did.

This is a terrible company. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research. I thought I was buying flowers from a local florist for delivery. I set up delivery online for a same day delivery to the hospital my friend was in. They were never delivered. I called Avas Flowers and finally after a lengthy process I was able to speak with someone. I tried to get the order canceled and a refund but to no avail. They would not do anything but set up another delivery the next day. The rep I was talking to took $10 off the price and promised a delivery the next day before 3:00 pm. Then there were constant emails going back and forth. Before 3:00 I received another email. They needed an alternative address. I called again and told the rep, my friend is in the hospital and so there is no alternative address and I live 8 hours away. So another promise to have delivered before 3:00.
Shortly after another email asking me to call. I spoke with the rep, she said unfortunately the flowers won't be delivered till tomorrow. I flipped out, I told her I don't even know if my friend will be alive tomorrow. She assured me they would be delivered the next day and would give me another discount. I said absolutely not. She tried putting me off but I reiterated again, my friend might not make it till then and I wanted her to see flowers just in case. I told her no way, I was going to report their company and it was totally unacceptable and they better refund me immediately. To my surprise she finally relented. All this was hours of phone calls and emails. I will never use an online company again, and now I haven't any flowers to be delivered. So sad and frustrating.

I ordered flowers for a friend in the hospital and received a notification that evening. My friend states she never received the flowers. Avas was adamant they were delivered. I called the hospital, admissions was very kind and per the security cameras no flowers were delivered. Three days later Avas finally admitted they were not delivered and promised to send them. Two days later, NO FLOWERS! I had to call a local company near the hospital and beautiful flowers were delivered within three hours! I was very disappointed my friend wasn't able to enjoy her flowers while in the hospital. My friend, her family, the nurses on her floor and admissions are well aware that Avas Flowers is not reliable and will not be using them to order flowers.

I couldn’t get a delivery done that I only ordered if they could be delivered by a certain time! I was guaranteed this was not a problem. I never received an order confirmation this morning, I kept receiving text messages that my order wasn’t complete, and now I received a message stating they were delivered which they weren’t. So due to receiving that confirmation that they were delivered I was forced to ask my wife and ruin the surprise. This is after I was told the delivery would have to be changed to Monday. They weren’t delivered! We even went through video to verify it. It’s a daycare and it’s a locked facility so it’s impossible for anything to come through the doors w out her knowing as she was there open to close and she’s the GM!
So now I’ve spent hours of my valuable time on the phone and researching this “so-called” delivery and the point of the order is ruined! I will dispute the charge as services were not only not provided the surprise and purpose behind the order has been completely ruined and you can’t put a price tag on that! Not to mention I Google searched local flower companies in Gulf Breeze, FL and their search claims to be a local flower company. When I saw there was a service fee that was almost as much as the flowers themselves I called and was then told they weren’t local, but they outsource to the area.
Due to bad experiences in the past with these type of companies I asked to cancel the order only to be talked into keeping the order and guaranteed delivery by 4pm and there wouldn’t be any issues! Terrible experience. Oh and when I was told on the phone after the fact that they couldn’t have them delivered and they would have to be rescheduled for Monday I was offered nothing at all in return for the error. I had to ask if I would be provided a discount or upgrade due to the inconvenience only to be told no and given a 15% off coupon for a future order! lol What a joke! Why would anyone ever order from a company again after this bad of an experience?

Shame on me for not reading any reviews before ordering. BIG warning to anyone wanting to order anything...READ REVIEWS of customers and don't pay attention to any of their responses to them because they DO NOT CARE! They would rather refund than actually deliver as promised. Here's my story: Mom's 86th birthday. I live on the West Coast, she, in Michigan. 1800flowers.com couldn't deliver same day so did a quick search for "local" florist (to her) and AVAS FLOWERS comes up. They can deliver same day for an extra $9.99, PERFECT! I ordered a money tree plant, 4 balloons, and a card at or around 7am PST.
At or around 10 PST I get an email stating the order had an issue and to call them. They proceed to tell me they can't deliver the plant same day but an arrangement of flowers, oh and no balloons either. After going round in circles I agree to it, just to get my mother something ON HER BIRTHDAY! He says he will refund balloon money and give me 25% off the order...Reluctantly I said, "Ok let's do that." Here today I get another email that I wasn't able to read until I got off work 5 hrs. after it was sent. AGAIN PROBLEM; not only nothing was delivered 2 Oct. NOTHING was delivered 3 Oct. Customer service was really no help. They had to connect me to a supervisor and when she said, "Stay on the line and wait for the supervisor" the call immediately disconnected.
Called back. Same lady says "supervisor is trying to call you now" and said goodbye and hung up. NOPE. No such call(s) happened. I get a text stating "order cancelled and full refund" (in 5-7 business days). It's a damn shame that they cannot conduct business properly or even talk to you to apologize which still means nothing but would have been less salty had they done so. They are really just a buyer beware company. Shady business practices and now I have to still get mom something as she must think her child of 58 years is a jerk for missing her birthday. NO THANK YOU Avas Flowers! If I could give zero stars I would!!

Worst experience I've had with flowers. Do not use. Too many headaches along with this company. Fly by night at best. Ruined my 15th wedding anniversary. Thanks, Avas. Placed my order 4 days in advance to delivery. Was sent a text at 4:00 day of delivery wanting an alternate delivery address. Called customer service. Was cut off three times and once I finally got to talk to someone I could hear roosters crowing in the background, really? My suggestion is that If you want a migraine headache, call these people for flowers.

BEWARE!! Total scam. I spent 4 days trying to get an order delivered. MIL's 97th birthday, placed order 1 week ahead/$100 arrangement. No response to email inquiries, customer service who knows where (poor English/hard to understand) not to mention good luck getting thru automated attendant, extremely long wait times. Horrible experience, never again, & I am disputing charge to try to recover $s.

I ordered a beautiful arrangement for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for 1st anniversary. First, they said they didn't have those flowers, so the only acceptable substitute was an orchid. I was disappointed, but didn't have time to cancel the order as I was out that day. Then, it is delivered with petals falling off, as I assume it was not transported and delivered with care. It was pretty embarrassing when I received a photo from my sister-in-law, and she hoped it would be a rally...

We paid $80 for what looked like a $15 bouquet of flowers at a grocery store, what a rip off. They charge $10 for delivery fee and $25 for service fee. Buyer beware. They did deliver on time at least.

Ordered a funeral spray for delivery 6 days after placing order. Specified that arrangement had to arrive by 9:00am as funeral started at 10:00am. Flowers did not arrive until after funeral was almost over. Arrangement was to by a spray on an easel. Flowers delivered were just a FEW flowers dumped into a glass vase. Do not use this firm.

They claim to be a local florist, that is a main selling point, but they are not there is no Avas Flowers in the location I used. FTD is a legitimate business, nothing wrong with being nationwide. But when you are a fake, you reveal the rest of your organization to be a fake as well. THe arrangement was less than 1/3 the size advertised and looked nothing like the picture, fake is fake.

I ordered a corn plant, but they shipped a Spathiphyllum. I have tried to talk with someone about this issue, but they will not answer complaint. Makes me wonder if they do this on a regular basis. I live in Houston Texas and the funeral was in Taylor Michigan. I guess they thought I would not find out about the plant swap. Sorry company that preys on the departed to rip off.

Not local, not what I ordered! The website is deceptive with lots of options. They happily took my money and later called to say they didn't have what I ordered but would do their best. I ordered yellow flowers but what showed up at the funeral was better suited for a wedding--pink, purple, and white! Some of the flowers looked 1/2 dead too! I will never use this company again and I will be telling EVERYONE about how bad this experience was.

This is the worst flower company, I have ever used! They don't update on your delivery as well as they don't delivery as promised. I work for a domestic and international insurance company and we definitely will NOT use ever again! The customer service rep was very professional but that's it!

I ordered a lovely arrangement, the largest fullest version. What showed up for our friend was the smallest, a downgrade on the smallest they display. It didn't conform to their substitution policy in any way. It was a joke compared to the over $100 I spent. I tried every way to contact customer, for days. I emailed and kept getting messages. They'd email me back but I received 0 emails back, only texts on 9/3, 9/6, 9/11 to check my email or check the junk folder - no email. I was sure it was delivered because of the text from Avas, but the photo from our friend holding the bouquet told the story of the service Avas provides.
So I paid over $100 (includes delivery/charges) for the the best and got the less than the lowest cost choice. They don't have the decency to respond at all - why should this company stay in business? Why is anyone using a company that cares nothing about the customer? Please use anyone else, but not Avas. You'll be disappointed and frustrated at the very least. BTW, this was my 3rd attempt with Avas. The 1st went well, the 2nd was late, not on the date I requested, nor the bouquet I requested.
This order was the final straw and I will do what I can to never recommend Avas to anyone. I gave them a good test run over a 5 year period, they failed me twice with no reimbursement. Run, don't walk away from Avas. Make a direct call to a florist local to the recipient. That boosts local economy and you can speak directly to a local shop. Worst experience ever, no care to the service to their customers.

Ordered to be delivered same day between 8am-430pm to an office. They proceeded to “try to deliver” after those hours 3 days in a row. Kept saying they called me and I never got calls. Sent me emails daily that they never replied to saying they tried to deliver and no one was there. Finally on day 3 they delivered to the wrong person after hours again.

I ordered flowers for my stepmother as a combination birthday and get well. I ordered pretty flowers in a vase & requested delivery on Saturday. After placing the order, I was sent an email stating that they did not have what I ordered, and the only option given was a bouquet not in a vase. Since I was busy & did not have time to shop around again, I agreed. However, the flowers were sent via UPS and arrived on Monday. They were left by the front door. She got a box of wilted flowers that she had no idea were sitting by her door. The shop address is about a 5-mile drive from her home. Why UPS and why days after the scheduled delivery date? As an additional slap in the face, the service fee was almost $25. I would never recommend Avas to ANYONE!

I googled florists near where my daughter gave birth and AvasFlowers was at the top of the list. Believing this business was a local business I ordered flowers and balloons for the birth of my first grandchild. The flowers were supposed to be delivered the same day however several hours later I received a text message there was a problem, and they would be delivered the next day. The next day I received the delivery confirmation saying the flowers had been delivered, however when I arrived at the delivery location a few hours later I was surprised to find out the flowers had never been received. I called customer service, and they apologized and offered to resend the order. Waited till the next day and still no flowers.
My daughter finally received a phone call from where the flowers were originally supposed to be delivered to saying the flowers, but no balloons had been left outside their door after business hours. I again called customer service to complain about the mix up and was told they would reship to her home address since she had been discharged. I was again told the flowers would be there the next day. Within a few minutes of hanging up with customer service I was sent an email advising me the arrangement I ordered was no longer available and there were pictures of arrangements I could choose from to substitute, and chocolate covered strawberries would be added at no charge. I was informed this would be the last time they would deliver, which I thought was funny considering NOTHING had been delivered to my daughter at this point, but I had been charged.
I was more than done dealing with Avas Flowers and asked for a refund. The customer service rep told me he could only refund me 25% (this barely covered the missing balloons.) I was told the flowers would be delivered Friday, then by the end of the call it would be Saturday before they were delivered. Saturday evening I received an email from Avas Flowers with a tracking number for a UPS shipment that was scheduled to be delivered on Monday. Flowers still didn't come so I checked the tracking number with UPS and UPS claimed to not have the apartment so they couldn't deliver. I confirmed the address, which did have the apartment number.
Flowers finally arrived on Tuesday; they were fairly wilted according to my daughter. The chocolates were horrible! They looked like someone chewed them up and spit them back in the package! I have added a photo of the chocolate, a photo of what I ordered and a photo of the flowers that were delivered to the wrong location (minus the balloons that were never received). My daughter did not send me photos of the flowers that arrived with the chocolate covered strawberries.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on a particular day. They were not delivered. It was hard to contact the business as everything is online and you go through the customer service which was not helpful! I could not talk to the store myself. I spent so much time on the phone trying to reach them and when I finally did, nobody would take responsibility for their actions. I ended up canceling my order. Would not order from them...Trust your business somewhere else!!

I ordered some flowers thinking it was a serious company but it wasn't! They deceived me, there is no way to communicate with these people, they give you emails that don't exist and phones that don't answer, they give you a price and charge you a totally different price from $37 to $84, they promise to deliver the same day and it's totally false!!! Don't fall for this scam!!!!

Customer service is poor. I ordered online and received multiple texts/emails to call them due to delivery address. I called them back twice and the person just took my information and said someone would call me back from their specials department. Within 5 minutes, I received another text/email to call them. I called again and the cycle continued. No one called me back to fix the problem and the order was not delivered. I received another email/text the next day and called back and they said the flower was not available and there was not a delivery address problem. I asked repeatedly for a refund and the umpteenth time, I finally, hopefully, received a refund. I wish I looked at the reviews in advance before placing an order.

I placed my order on September 20, 2024 for my sister birthday on September 21, 2024. Picked a beautiful arrangement and was assured that they would be delivered on her birthday. The order was $107.39. I got an email on the September 21, the day of her birthday saying they can't deliver, but will deliver them on Monday September 23, 2024. I had to call them and request a refund, which they did, but kept telling me about offers to make it right. I had to tell them several times, "I don't want your offers or anything but my money back." I told them in their survey I would never recommend or buy from them ever again.

I hated give this place Avas Flowers a 1 star but there was no option for a negative star! I ordered a satin heart pillow with a banner that said great-grandchildren from this place for my father’s celebration of life! What do I get a square pillow with a couple roses on it with NO banner! Upon calling these scammers I get a 25$ credit after paying 85$! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

I ordered a 47$ bouquet to be delivered at her baby shower, they never showed up but when I finally got to speak to the customer service 4 days later they said it was delivered, my daughter has camera that proves nothing delivered, they tried in every way to convince me they were. Even offering a New delivery, but I didn't trust them. On my receipt they had 9.99 for delivery and a 28$ service fee. But I had no delivery, and no service. They're unprofessional and crooked. It took me forever to get my refund, it also is impossible to talk to anyone there with a problem, I will never trust this business again, and those who do beware, they are also in a lawsuit for scamming customers. Look it up online. Beware of this florist!!!

I went online to order my mother flowers for her last birthday as she has a terminal illness and the website said same-day delivery. Her birthday was the next day. I ordered what appeared to be beautiful flowers and was sent an email four hours later that my delivery was going to be at least three days late. I called customer service and they said they were going to give me an upgrade Free of charge and when the flowers were delivered three days late they were wilted and molded. They were not in a vase as they were supposed to be and instead of 12 roses my dying mother only received 10 wilted ugly, diseased flowers for her last birthday on the earth. And to top that they double charged me for the diseased, rotten wilted flowers - when they “upgraded” me free of charge for the “same day” delivery 3 days late, they double charged me - what was supposed to be $62 was $114.

I ordered flowers for my grandson casket. It was over $100 more than it said online and not what I ordered. I asked for blue flowers and they had purple for a little boy. There were no roses at all and I asked when I ordered for roses.

Avas Flowers came up when I searched for a local florist in Mashpee, MA (Cape Cod). I paid extra for a Dluxe Harmony Bouquet for our mom's anniversary. First, I was charged a $25 'service fee' - no idea why. It was not a rush or same-day delivery. The flowers that arrived looked nothing like the photo and description. They were a bouquet you can buy for $19.99 at a grocery store and they came from a florist 100 miles away. They were crammed into a pathetic vase with no ribbon or decor, they were NOT SPECIAL in any way. This 'Harmony Bouquet' advertised for $52.99 came to $82.63, four times the cost of a grocery store bouquet which is what they were. What a scam. I believe all of the 5-star reviews are phony; they are not authenticated and this company pays people to write 5-star reviews. Do not use this company; they are NOT LEGITIMATE.

I’d normally check a company’s reviews before ordering but this company popped up when I searched local florists near my mom’s home and I just went with it. My order was placed ahead of time, for my mother’s birthday, as I’ve given my mom a flower arrangement EVERY YEAR for the last 21 years!! I received a message in the late afternoon on her birthday (Friday) advising that the order could not be delivered and had to go out the next day. On the next day at 5pm, no delivery and no communication. I called them and they advised that they would be delivered on Monday. No thank you! I’d appreciate a refund expeditiously!! Thank you for ruining what should have been a 22 year tradition! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I ordered flowers and six balloons for my daughter’s 18th birthday. It was supposed to be a surprise, They ended up calling her and ruining the surprise and then never delivered the flowers or balloons. I called the number many times. Talk to someone that I could not understand. They end up switching florists And delivering the flowers the next day with no balloons so I had to call them again and try to understand them and tell them that the balloons were never delivered and the balloons surprisingly was delivered four hours after I called back. Worst service ever. Do not order from them. They were supposed to be delivered to her school before 3:45 PM. What a joke. I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews. All they did was want to offer me $20 store credit. They can keep the credit because I’ll never use them again but I see that they only offer $20 store credit to everybody.

I ordered an arrangement that cost $39.99. A balloon for $6.99 also a supposedly card in an envelope for $4.99 plus delivery fee for $9.99 tax $7.71. After checkout a service charge of $24.95 was seen on my receipt. This should be clear before paying, this is the worst arrangement I have seen. Very very dissatisfied. Also the balloon was not delivered. Will never recommend/

If I could post a zero I would. The plant arrived 3 days late. The plant was wilted. There was an additional $29.00 service fee added to the purchase along with $9.99 delivery fee and of course taxes were added. A $59.99 purchases ended up being $102.00. Extremely disappointed that the plant was wilted.

I ordered a flower arrangement for mother and the site said it would be available and delivered next day. I received a text the following day from Avas Flowers indicating my delivery would not be made that day and the arrangement I chose was not available. They offered very few substitutes that were cheap and completely different than what I had ordered. I was offered a cancellation and clicked on the "cancel my order" icon. I received a confirmation online of my cancellation. Later, I received a text that I had to call them, urgently.
I waited on hold for minutes and when the representative came on, I had to explain the entire situation over again. She was adamant that I accept a substitution and 4 times I told her I wanted to cancel the order and I was hung up on. (I was dealing with this while trying to work). I received 4 more texts saying I had to call them. I went online and re-cancelled my order...Again!! I received another "urgent" text and called again. While waiting 7 minutes, I finally received another text saying my order was cancelled. I have a sneaky suspicion that I won't see the refund and have to do this all over.

I ordered flowers and was told that everything would be perfect and the recipient would love them. So first the price on line skyrocketed when I was asked to pay and the agent was charging me for shipping when it said free then he dropped the price when I explained this which was still high. Then right after I was told that everything was going to be perfect and on time. I got a text saying that there was a problem. I called back and they told me that the flowers were unavailable and that the would be shipped the next day. That wouldn't work for me so they said that they would upgrade me to something much better. Never told me what the upgrade would be so I called them back and they said that it would be the same flowers only better. Well you can see by the pictures that wasn't the case.
When I called them back to tell them what I received was a joke they offered me a 15% discount on my next order which I had already been offered on the first go around. Then they offered 10 dollars and 15%. I told them that what they did and are doing is completely unacceptable they offered 50% back on order. When I told them to do it because I was tired of going back and forth they sent back what was not 50% and said that the taxes shipping and processing were not included. I told her that there was no shipping fee on the order to begin with and she tried to tell me that on my order I would see a charge for shipping then a credit under that. At this point I was completely frustrated and done with the whole deal. I would not recommend their services nor will I ever use them again. You are better off going to Kroger and not dealing with the hassle.

Horrible experience. Offered free shipping and then at the last minute added a $25 dollar service fee. I ordered a nice bouquet of purple and yellow flowers in a smoked vase but what was delivered was a few cheap carnations looking NOTHING like the bouquet I ordered. They reserve the right to change the flowers and vase and they take that very seriously. Order instead from a legitimate FTD florist that is not in the business to rip you off.

Not dependable. Poor customer service. Unethical customer service. Liars. I ordered a bear and flowers for my niece. She likes a specific type of bear. Before placing the order, I inquired to see if the bear seen in the photo was going to be the exact bear she was getting and I was ASSURED that it would be that bear. $86 dollars later, my niece received a black bear. Not the golden colored bear shown in the photo on the website. My niece, who was hospitalized for a serious condition did not appreciate this, and as the buyer, I did not appreciate being lied to. I will never use this company again.

Way overpriced for what I received for Anniversary flowers. My regular florist was closed. Never again. Very small arrangement for $110. My regular local florist gives me the same arrangement but double the size for $80. Never had a problem (Flower Bar). I would give them 5 Stars. Avas I would give 2 and that is being generous. Even though they promised free delivery with the code and I did not get it I did tip the man. It was not his fault.

We purchased a beautiful spray for my sister’s funeral. We went early on the night of the viewing to make sure they had arrived. One looked like my order but there was NOTHING indicating who they were from. I called them immediately only to be told I DID NOT buy a card from them to attach to the order. WAIT, WHAT? So we went home (1 hour drive) and made our own card. We arrived early the next day for the funeral so we could attach a card. RIDICULOUS, is this not stupid. I am done with AVA’S!!! Ordered flowers on Sunday morning. Customer service person said she spoke to the driver and they guaranteed delivery that day between 12 - 3. No flowers by 3pm. After I called twice they guaranteed they would be there. Guess what? No delivery that day. Called to get a refund the next day and they said the florist was closed! WHAT???? Gave me a real hard time about a refund. They asked me 10 times to take a discount on a future order....you couldn't get it right the first time, think I'm gonna use you again? No!! I ordered same day delivery flowers for my wife. I received an email saying the order was processed and that it was on its way. My wife came home and never mentioned getting the flowers. I checked on their website and it said it had been delivered. By this time I figured something was wrong so I called my wife. No flowers had been delivered. She never heard of the person that they said signed for it. I tried to call them but you after all the automated messages you finally get to where it says you talk to a person if you press 2. So I did and it continued to say that it did not understand the response until it hung up on me.
I then used the chat bot which said there was a problem with the order. It said they tried to deliver it but was unable. The I tried to cancel the order and it said I could not because it was a same day order which is ridiculous because it was from the day before. So as of now flowers, not able to cancel. I should have known when they added a service fee at the end of the ordering process that I should have gone elsewhere. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Fast forward several days to the day of the funeral services, less than 5 hours before the service, I get a text message that the order was cancelled as flowers are unavailable. I ordered flowers off of their website on 8/15. They were supposed to be delivered on 8/16. Today is 8/19/24 and the flowers have not been delivered and they have made ZERO attempts to call me. I however have called every telephone number possible and have gone on to their website multiple times. Their telephone number will send you through an abundance of prompts and then states due to the holiday they are experiencing high call volume and cannot take the call.. However if you call and press 1 to place a new order someone answers right away! So, I pressed 1 and I got and tried to cancel the order and get resolution only to be transferred back to the same Telephone loop that ends nowhere.. I have since reported this to my credit card company. In addition I also had 4 fraudulent TikTok orders attempted on the same credit card. That credit card has since been cancelled. Avoid using this company!!

I am so beyond pissed off right now, omg! I had ordered flowers Friday to be delivered today to the service for my childhood friend who took his own life last weekend. As I was unable to attend the service in person. I am so beyond upset right now! I just now saw I had an email from Avas' Florist in Oxford that due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to complete my order of flowers I arranged to be sent today to the service. And I wasn’t even given an actual explanation and didn’t even know until just now. I’m very upset to say the least. I ordered this on Friday. I picked a local florist for a reason. This is unbelievable. I plan to contact the florist tomorrow and complain about this. Not even a phone call or anything and I gave my number with the order. Received an email only. Horrible company with terrible customer service. I needed to send sympathy flowers to a dear friend at a rural address. None of the big name places could do so in a good timeframe, and I found Avas whose website said they could. At noon on the day they were to be delivered I received a text message to call them about an urgent issue with my order and check my email for details. Email literally had no details and also said call. Called and waited 4 min for an operator. Who needed my order number even though their automated system had already confirmed it. Then she said she had to put me on hold to check on my order. After 10 min on hold I was disconnected.
Called back, got someone else. That person started with my order could not be delivered until next week. but maybe they had other options. Then she said something could be ordered tomorrow. Then it couldn't. Then she started trying to offer me "special offers" for something next week. I asked for my order to be cancelled since clearly these people don't know what they are talking about. This lead to "yes ma'am I hear you but I would like to offer you....". I cannot even tell you how many times I told her I did not want her offer I wanted to cancel. Each time "yes ma'am I hear you but would like to offer you...." I asked for a supervisor. "Yes ma'am but my supervisor will ask the same question I would like to resolve for you. I can offer you....."
At one point the offer was an edible arrangement. Who sends a sympathy edible arrangement??? Asked for supervisor again. Supervisor was in meeting. Asked to cancel for the 20th time. Another offer. Hung up to start charge back with credit card. She called me back. "Ma'am I believe we got disconnected". I said, "No. I hung up because you refuse to cancel my order." "Ma'am I did not refuse. I would like to offer you...." I hung up again. Dispute filed with my credit card company. Received a text message 45 minutes later my order was refunded. Terrible service, terrible practice.

I was visiting Lexington and I thought I would buy flowers for the beautiful hotel staff that took care of me while I was there. I should have read the Yelp reviews in advance, because they were able to get anything over a one. By late today, two days after it was supposed to be delivered I got confirmation that it finally got delivered. They said they were going to discount me $10 because of the delay and I have now since asked them for a full refund because not only was the service deplorable, but their response to it was completely unacceptable! I can't believe that I ordered flowers in Lexington Kentucky to be delivered in Lexington Kentucky, I ordered them a week in advance and it took them almost 3 days to deliver them.

I ordered a beautiful thank-you arrangement for $65.00 for my sister-in-law, who just lost her spouse. I had at least 8 texts indicating your company first did not have my selected arrangement, the address was incorrect, I was referred to as Ms. ** (not my last name), and the due date was missed by 5 days. I called to have the order canceled on Sun or Mon. Somehow they delivered an arrangement that looked like the last flowers of the day. I will not use this site or business for future orders. I did receive a refund, but only after I explained the situation to an understanding manager. More training needs to be done in your call center.

SCAMMERS!!!! I ordered The "Floral Harmony" arrangement for a dear friend was in the hospital. Very colorful & happy arrangement in the picture on Website. He happened to go into ICU because of a heart surgery. They promised they would check daily with the hospital to see when he would get to a normal room. Yesterday I called Avas because he got to a reg room & they hadn't been checking at all.. He was going home the next day. They finally got there but they didn't look anything like the pictures on website. I paid almost 100.00 for these. Very disappointing. Will never us again. I looked online for a local florist and Ava's came up. I wanted to send flowers to my friend and coworker, that had recently relocated out of state. I found something bright and beautiful, sunflowers, gerbera daisies, roses, etc. My primary issue is the fact that the delivered arrangement had 1 gerbera daisy and no sunflowers or roses, my total bill with delivery and service fees was 76.01 which I wouldn't have had an issue with had the flowers ordered been what was delivered or even of similar quality.
I attempted to call and was referred to the Chat, which links you back to their "Substitution Policy" that states they may provide flowers of similar color if they don't have the ordered flowers in stock, what florist doesn't have Sunflowers or Roses and the colors are not even what was ordered. What my friend received versus what I ordered was hideous! (see picture below). The yellow daisies had petals falling off and wilting. Saddened and disappointed with what was delivered, I want to express that she was missed and cared about, but the flowers delivered definitely did not reflect that. I will never order from AvasFlowers again and would recommend that you don't either.

Flowers were never sent to the funeral home for my deceased uncle. When I tried to contact this merchant by phone they hang up the phone. Then I receive a text that they lost connection. Each time I called this happened with the merchant and they would text saying they didn’t have a good number on file but you’re texting my phone which makes no sense.

I wanted to send my GF flowers while she was out of state on a gig, so I contacted Avas flowers which seemes to be a local business to that area. I picked the perfect bouquet she would just love, this was thursday and I wanted them delivered to where she will be working on Saturday. I got a notice a day later they didn't have it available. So I had to choose one of just 12 designs they offered. I spoke with a representative and they assured me the new arrangement would be there Saturday, but they couldn't guarantee the time - only it would be there between 10-5.
Saturday I got a notice from Avas flowers and they should be delivered by 7pm Saturday which is not what they told me, my GF would be gone by 5. I used Avas tracking number which led me to a UPS site! This was when I found out Avas was not local! My flowers were in Kentucky now and wouldn't arrive until MONDAY when my GF would be long gone, not only that, but they were sent in a BOX. I was under the impression they would be arranged in a vase and hand delivered like the good ol' days. Never again would I use Avas Flowers.

I looked online for a local florist and Ava's came up. I wanted to send flowers to my friend who had just lost her furbaby. She loves the color purple so I ordered the Everlasting Soothing Lavender arrangement. The picture was beautiful and perfect. The first problem was they charged a sevice fee of $25.00 that was undisclosed until AFTER I hit the submit payment button so I had to call them for that. Customer service agreed to discount me twenty dollars for that. Flowers were supposed to be delivered next day. What my friend received versus what I ordered was disgusting. (see picture below) They looked like a bunch of limp, wilted weeds. I was embarrassed and angry. I knew it wouldn't be an exact match but this was just thrown together. I will never order from them again.

Placed an order today, 7/28 at 1 am based on their website saying same day delivery. They charge a ridiculous service fee of $28 but wanted to send birthday flowers so I paid it. Get the email confirmation and it says it will be delivered 7/28 or 7/29. Tried to cancel and it wouldn't let me. When you call their message says they are closed for the holiday. What Holiday? If you stay on the line you eventually can get through. Was on hold after speaking with someone about 10 am and I suddenly get a recording that says "Sorry our office is closed" and it disconnects. Called back and they confirmed they were having trouble finding someone to deliver but refuse to cancel and refund my money. Even their website is prompted to change showing the location that you are googling so it looks like they are a local florist. This is not a Brick & Mortar Store. It is just a call center. I should have read the reviews before I ordered. Very costly mistake.

Unfortunately, I fell victim to this company as well. I ordered flowers for same day delivery and received text messages confirming my order and the delivery. However, the recipient did not receive the flowers. I tried various methods to contact Avas Flowers and after much frustration finally reached a customer service rep. The representative tried to tell me that the flowers were delivered, and that they could do some research to find out if they were delivered to the wrong address. After further conversation, the representative agreed to send a second bouquet of flowers to my recipient. However, that second delivery was not received by the recipient either. I should’ve done my research and read the web reviews, unfortunately I’m out $100.

I hope ordered flowers from Avas Florist on July 24th mid-morning. I made payment with my debit card. I was 100% sure that the delivery would take place on the 24th as requested. After several attempts of tracking my order, I was told that the staff at Avas could not reach the delivery company and they promised that the flowers would be delivered today, July 25th. I probably made about 10 calls or more as this order was very special to me and my family. Each time I was transferred to a different department, each time I was given a different story, I was told that the flowers were 5 minutes away from the destination and that was simply not true. In essence I received totally false information from every customer service representative I spoke to at this florist. Unfortunately I had to blow my lid and talk over the customer service reps who would not listen to me.
I finally demanded a refund and demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was amazingly put through to a supervisor who did put the refund through. I just got off from my bank and the money should be put back in no later than this coming Monday. The flowers were for someone that had passed away and so the fact that I had to go through all of this horrible customer service and false information even made my heart hurt more. I would never recommend them and if I could give them less than a one I would. There is enough hate in this world, but I have to speak my truth and I want people to know that they are not a responsible company and they do not tell the truth. Find yourself another local florist as I will now do.

They were suppose to deliver a floral arrangement to my 95 year old mother on 7/24 & I got an email at 4:23pm on 7/24 indicating that they couldn’t deliver it until 725. I ordered a bouquet for my grand-daughter for her birthday. I placed the order on July 14, for a delivery on July 16. I indicated the delivery was to a business address. At 1 PM on the day of delivery, since I hadn't heard from my grand-daughter, I called the florist. They told me delivery had not been attempted, but would be by 7 PM. The business would be closed by then, so I asked that delivery be made by 4:30 PM - and was told it would be.
The next morning (day after expected delivery) I received a confirmation of delivery. I called my grand-daughter - she had not received anything. I contacted the florist and asked who signed for the flowers, and was told that information was not available. I insisted that a bouquet be delivered as soon as possible, and by noon my grand-daughter acknowledged delivery of the second arrangement. However - no balloon!! Called the florist AGAIN. I was credited for the balloon and received a small discount on the arrangement - but I will NEVER order from them again. Horrible customer service. Horrible follow through!!

I only wish I had read these reviews before I attempted to send a friend flowers to cheer her before her upcoming heart surgery. Very long story short: twice I was told the flowers were delivered (from two different local florists) and they weren't. Eleven days and the flowers still aren't delivered. I explicitly told the courteous customer service rep to cancel the order. That second phone call took 15 minutes with me repeatedly saying "I want to cancel the order" before it was resolved. I honestly won't believe it's settled until I see it refunded on my credit card. I strongly discourage doing business with them.

I used Avas Flowers twice. They messed up the order the first time 1/22/24. Decided to give them a 2nd chance 7/22/24. They messed it up again. Didn't have the flowers there on day promised and overcharged. They are not a hometown local company as they say. They are a lead based company that have their customer service department in the Philippines. They give the leads or orders to local Florist and they don't know if they have the flowers in stock or not to make the arrangements, and who knows when Avas sends the order to the local Florist. Not a good company, poor mismanagement and communication. Too many bad reviews. They need to be shut down because of poor business. "The proof is in the pudding". Check the reviews. 1.2 is not good!

This is NOTHING like the image! The flowers are NOT pastel but bright colors, there is NO ugly ribbon on this and the card even uglier! Plus a medium size flower is NOT tiny! REALLY BAD. Clearly the flowers in this image are not their own work, just a stolen image of someone else's work! Trust me, I've taught design including flower arrangements, someone that made that flower, would never make what was sent! I ordered flowers on Friday, 7/12/2024 over the phone at the 1855 # Was assured delivery same day. Received call next day Sat. 7/13 stating they could not deliver based on an issue on their end. Assured me they would be out 7/15. After contacting Avas several times on 7/15 on having phone calls disconnected and put on hold numerous times. I finally spoke with A representative who said his name was Aeris and again assured me they would make the delivery by 7 pm Colorado time. Still no deliver. Why lie!!! Never again! The website is impressive but so misleading! I ordered flowers to be delivered same day (Fri) as stated on their website. My sister's bday was Sat, the 13th. Got a message saying they did not have the flowers to make the arrangement I selected and only offered two alternatives I did not agree with. The customer service rep told me what flowers they could substitute which were filler flowers in other arrangements, nothing special at all and especially for that price.
Long, long story short, the (substitute arrangement @ 25% disc) that were supposed to be delivered on Fri, then Sat, were not going to be delivered from KY to WI until the 15th, long after my sister's bday and made with unimpressive flowers. Finally today, I got a rep to refund the total amount. I could go on with more details but do not wish to spend more time than I've already spent on this order. I gave it a one only because they refunded the total amount as they should have.

I ordered a vase of tulips to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday. I got a text message saying it was delivered 2 hours before it actually was delivered and when it finally arrived the arrangement looked nothing like what I paid for (size, vase, flowers). Not even the balloons. I tied to call them using their touchstone option but every option came back to say it was not a valid option so I never got to speak to anyone and the chat it is useless. I will never use their services again and 10 out of 10 would never recommend!!

My flowers were the saddest, oldest, dying sunflower arrangement I’ve ever seen. To send flowers out like this shows the lack of care your company takes. It’s a bait and switch. Beyond dissatisfied, disappointed & disgusted. You should be ashamed of yourself for taking people's money and sending inferior product. I tried to rectify over the phone but have heard nothing back from your company. Your ratings speak volumes about your poorly run company. Sad.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! My husband ordered flowers for our anniversary... asked for a rush delivery! After being charged over $100 for the flowers, he received a call stating that the flowers wouldn't be delivered for another 5 days and they would give him a discount. NO credit made to our card! When I discussed canceling the order, I was given every excuse in the book. Needless to say, they aren't a flower company!!

Do not purchase from this company. I ordered flowers for my wife and was told they could deliver to a military base no problem. The next day came and went and I received an email stating that delivery was attempted. I never received a call from the delivery person. This went on for 11 days. Back and forth, don’t worry, we will have them delivered tomorrow with zero delivery. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with getting flowers delivered. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever. I only gave 1 star because they actually did refund my money.

Unknown to my boyfriend what companies were in my area to order flowers for for my birthday, he went with Avas! I always appreciate flowers but when I sent him the picture he was speechless. Flowers were nowhere close to what he ordered and the amount of fees charged is unreal! I get delivery charges but when an order is $67 and you get charged $120 (mostly fees) for an inaccurate bouquet that is absurd. I called customer service and they could only refund $34. I guess something is better than nothing but it’s a shame a company is out there like this. And $4.95 for a dang paper card that should come with the flowers for that price!

Flowers were deliver late. Was notified day of (Tuesday) would be the following day. Wednesday nothing from company. Received on Thursday 2 days after our anniversary. Flowers are decent and very similar to website photo. THE CHOCOLATES WERE MELTED AND LOOK TERRIBLE. Non edible by the smell.

We ordered a beautiful funeral spray for my mother in law's wake on 7/09/2024. At 11 am and tells us that the arrangement we ordered isn't available. Mind you it was ordered on friday july 5th. They tell us they will send something similar and it will be at the funeral home by 1 pm. Guess what. At 1pm they call us and tell us that they can't deliver the arrangement because they can't reach anyone at the funeral home. Mind you, we have to be at the funeral home at 1:30 pm. I by this time am furious. I tell them drive to the funeral home and knock on the door. They tell me they can't.
In the meantime, during our screaming match, I inadvertently agreed to something to be sent to us with a credit for the remainder. We paid over $120.00, and what they sent us was worth $29.95. Poor decoration, poor attempt to make up for a bumbling, horrible company that needs to be shut down. This company is a con-artist, rip off group of people posing as a legitimate company. This company is lower than low. They took advantage of our grief, and lined their pockets. If I could take a picture of what they sent, you'd gasp. Never, never. Use this company. Never order even a ribbon because you will never get it. May avas flowers reap what they sow, poor consumer support and a loss of income, and closing of their business with jail for the ceo's for fraud.

First of all I thought I was purchasing local. Scam, they charged an extra $25 special delivery, didn’t deliver the flowers ordered so came to pick up next day. Took the flowers away but never brought any back. We finally went to pick up ourselves, tiny handheld bouquet because the actual company doing the flowers only got $50 of the $80 paid. Hugely disappointed, but the actual local company was amazing. When they heard our story they tried to make it right and refunded us the money so we will only shop local from now with them. Be very careful!

I am outraged by the hidden fees applied to my recent order. The initial subtotal was $39.99, but additional charges totaling $70.38 were added after I submitted the order. This is a blatant rip-off. The breakdown of charges is as follows: Subtotal: $39.99, Service Fee: $24.95, Tax: $5.44. This kind of dishonest business practice is unacceptable.

Wish I could give zero stars! Don’t waste your time with these people. They charge too much and they say they have same day delivery but then they can’t do it that day after you pay. They only have an 800 number and it’s impossible to get a refund. Horrible service and experience.

Delivery never received, 2 days calling and not resolution. I pay a total of $116. And lose my money but I recommend you to read the review at BBB of this company before ordering from Avas Flowers. Their Google page says that the delivery service is free, at the payment process it adds 9.99$ to it. Then it doesn't show the part where they charge you 25$ more for delivery service until you almost hit complete order. So for a 39.99$ worth of flowers by the end of it all adds up to 75$!! That is ridiculous.

Ordered flowers on the 3rd and now the 9th is out for delivery through UPS! Horrible business!!! Made our company and my boss look bad and unreliable! The place of business closes at 5 p.m. and the flower arrangement should arrive by 7 p.m. How is this acceptable after providing instruction on the delivery hours??? Avas Flowers is not the florist to rely on, shame on me for not doing research!

I ordered flowers for my grandmother's funeral to be delivered to the funeral home for the service. I used the correct address in my order. Avas customer service called me the day of delivery to confirm the address and name of funeral home, I confirmed. They then asked if I would stay on hold while they called the funeral home to confirm delivery location, I did. When they got back on the line they told me they confirmed the address with the funeral home and delivery would be done. The flowers did NOT arrive at the service.
Several days after the service my aunt found the flowers delivered to her home in another state. I reported the problem online with Avas, my husband talked to customer service on the phone, today I spend 51 minutes on the phone with their customer service team to get a full refund. They blamed the wrong delivery address on me, it is an address I NEVER gave them. It was terrible customer service. After offering me $20, then $50, I finally got them to refund the full amount after threatening to report them to the BBB. It should have been a simple refund for a mistake they made, but due to their terrible customer service, I would HIGHLY recommend finding a different florist if you can.

I ordered for SAME DAY delivery online in the morning. A few hours later was contacted and they said they just needed to confirm address. Done I thought. 3 days later another call. They had not delivered because the flowers I ordered were not available. THIS WAS A VERY IMPORTANT sympathy arrangement! SUBSTITUTE, CALL ME! No they waited 3 days and yes I said substitute. My credit card was already charged. They offer me a 10 percent discount and now delivery will not be until 4 more days! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

On 6/1/24 I ordered a large sympathy spray from Avas Flowers for my best friend's father's wake. From the photo that they show online the arrangement was beautiful and showed over 20 yellow roses and an assortment of other flowers in pastel colors, it was so full that you could hardly see and green, it was important for me that the piece stand out to show my respect and support to my friend and his family. When I arrived at the funeral home I was shocked and embarrassed to see what was sent instead, it was not large but a small arrangement with only 6 yellow roses, no pastel flowers with less than 20 cheap carnations showing more green palm leaves than flowers. Not that a refund will ease my embarrassment, but if I do not get a full refund I will report them to the BBB.

Avis Flowers has an impressive website with beautiful flower arrangements that seem reasonably priced until you order from them a receipt that added on charges of 25.00 for their processing and delivery fees plus another 10.00 for an additional fee. Shame on me for being taken in “twice”. Both times getting “NO” delivery. First time I did not discover they were not delivered until the cut off date for a refund. Thought it might just be a mistake. A year later I was taken in again by their beautiful website and ordered for a funeral. This time I called immediately. No delivery AGAIN!!!
Called Avas. They tried to refund me “$15.00” on a 125.00 charge. Upon refusing to accept they went up to $25.00 or credit on another order. Upon getting firm with them and insisting on a complete total refund they finally conceded to give one. How sad that people are going through the grief of loss or trying to share the joy of an occasion and it has to be marred and made stressful through the dishonesty of a company that is scamming people.

We ordered an arrangement for my wife’s Aunt's funeral. Paid $137.65 for the arrangement. We ordered over the phone to make sure that it would be delivered to the funeral home on Monday morning for the service Monday evening. We were assured it would be delivered on time. Monday morning we received a delivery confirmation from Avas Flowers that our arrangement had been delivered. Imagine my wife’s horror and embarrassment when she asked her cousin (the aunt's daughter) how the flowers looked and the cousin's response was “what flowers”. My wife’s cousins believed that my wife’s family had completely ignored or did nothing for their mother's funeral. All because Avas flowers had not made or delivered the arrangement we ordered and paid for.
Then trying to contact Avas flowers about it is a nightmare and near impossible to reach a human. They will answer the phone to take an order but as soon as they find out it’s a complaint you're cut off. Even after I did get a human she kept trying to get me to accept the flowers 2 days after the funeral. There was no way I was paying for the arrangement and told her so. She said she was issuing a refund but to make sure I cancelled the credit card charge and filed a fraud charge against Avas flowers with my credit card company.

I ordered 10 sunflowers "on sale" for $44.95. After tax and "service fees" total was $84.36! Avas called me back within an hour to say delivery could not occur today, July 1, as promised. I said "cancel" the order. Sales rep. would not take no for an answer. Told me no other florist in area would deliver before 4th of July. This is not true! She kept yammering nonstop delivery would happened the next day. I repeated cancel my order. She offered10%, then 20% off, then 30% off. I repeated cancel my order! Then she tried to push candy, fruit basket, etc. I demanded again she cancel my order. Finally she did only after I said I'd contact my credit card co. directly. I ordered from a local florist with delivery July 2. I would rate 0 if possible. Sounds like overseas phone bank. Avas based in Delaware. Wish I'd read reviews before ordering.

I have never been so embarrassed when I arrived at the mortuary and saw the arrangement that was delivered. I will say the delivery was prompt BUT it was extremely disappointing. It was supposed to be a pillow shaped like a cross made of white satin with white flowers. The thing that was delivered was a very flat, lumpy pillow with tulle instead of lace. The pic showed the flowers were attached by something unseen yet the crap received was all of the stems of the flowers being attached by green floral tape wrapped around and around the bottom of the cross! You could not tell it was supposed to be a cross!! SO EMBARRASSING!! It was so VERY small!! $70 for junk. The writing on the card looked like a child wrote it. AGAIN EMBARRASSING!! I wish I would have just gone to a real florist instead.

I ordered a flower basket for a funeral, well this was two completely days of nightmare. Avas Flowers kept sending me emails that the basket was being delivered, but it never happened. I spent two days in the phone with customer service telling me how sorry they were but the issue didn’t get resolved. I was overcharged like $20.00 more. Don’t do business with them, you will die before the flowers arrive. Zero customers service.

I ordered flowers, and then several hours later received an email and text requiring me to call them. No problem. But they kept me on hold for 20 minutes. So I disconnected and called back. The next person told me the flowers were not in stock, but they could replace with a gourmet basket. I said that was fine. But instead of delivering today or tomorrow, it would be Saturday (5 days out). Also kept me on the phone for 10 minutes to "explain" the gourmet basket. I cancelled and ordered with Blooms Today who will be delivering tomorrow and didn't charge for delivery or extra service fees that I had with Avas. Won't be back.

Placed order to have flowers and chocolates sent to my wife for same day delivery. A couple hours later I get an email saying my selection wasn't available and offered the crappiest options and I they could not deliver them today. I canceled the order and 30 minutes later I get a call trying to get me to accept different options. I said no and then he asks to talk to my wife to see what she would like. I had to get stern and insist they cancel the order. He put me on hold for several minutes as I type this.... I am still waiting on the refund notice. Horrible company,

I recently purchased flowers for my mother in law's 85 Birthday and they emailed me saying they didn’t have the flowers I wanted available. They offered to replace with roses and add chocolate strawberries which I told them no roses so they said they would make up some Lilies and other flowers. I wanted yellow and blue mix and add chocolate strawberries. My mother in law received red roses, no chocolate strawberries and I told them no roses which is what she received. Will Not order through them again! I didn’t even mention it was suppose to be delivered on June 29 and arrived July 1st.

MY OPINION - HORRIBLE!! If I could give them a zero, I would. I placed an order at 11:00 a.m. to be delivered the same day. It is now 5:00 p.m. and I still haven't received anything. When I called, I told them I would cancel the order if it was not received today. The representative informed me that there are no refunds on same-day orders, even if they are not delivered. Furthermore, they were attempting to charge a $9.99 delivery fee, a $25.00 service fee, and 11% sales tax. I disputed this and said I would cancel the order, and they removed the additional charges. I suggest using your local flower shop or one of the larger florists, such as 1-800-flowers. WITH MY EXPERIENCE AND OPINION - I WOULD AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Wow! This business should not be allowed to be a business. I thought that I was paying $40 for flowers for someone in the hospital and they upcharged to $89 dollars after calling and saying it would be delivered the next day. It is now 4 days later. I am $89 dollars in the hole and customer service won't refund any money. Our fault for being in a hurry. Completely misleading company and comes up first in the google search. They should be moved off first page or taken off. Someone from BBB should look into them and see how misleading they are and get rid of them. Shame on Google for putting them there when 92% of their ratings are 1 star. Unbelievable.

I ordered a nice-looking bouquet, "My Sun, Moon and Stars" as a sympathy for family-members of someone who had passed away, choosing same-day delivery. I was surprised that this would cost $80, after a "service fee" of $25 was added on! I spoke with a customer service agent (from the Philippines) and they reduced it. Not long after I submitted the order, I was notified (by another customer service agent from the Philippines) that it would be delivered the next day instead, and that the bouquet I'd selected was not available.
I was offered a selection of totally different bouquets, finally settling on "Designer's Seasonal Mix", which was not pictured anywhere. I was assured that it would be an upgrade to a larger and more glamorous bouquet, although the representative couldn't tell me what actual flowers would be in it. The next day, I was notified (by another customer service representative from the Philippines) that it couldn't be delivered for another three days, and there was another reduction to the price to make up for it, so now the cost came to $50.
Unfortunately, the actual flowers look nothing like either the "My Sun, Moon, Stars" arrangement, or the "Designer's Seasonal Mix" photo included in my order. They look like a bedraggled $12 flower bouquet from a grocery store, (the cheapest varied bouquet you can get). Not only that, but they had been sent by UPS Air from Kentucky to northern New York - no local florists were involved at all, and there's nothing fresh about these flowers. (To be sure: all flowers are beautiful, but this looks like I tried to send the cheapest bouquet available, rather than something really meaningful in memory of our friend.)
I wish I'd seen the other reviews on here sooner, because I would have cancelled my order and just gone with 1800Flowers or researched a more local florist. I think this is a sham company, that basically ships the cheapest flowers they can find from Kentucky to wherever via UPS, and runs an outsourced customer service center in the Philippines to mitigate complaints. This is not how a business should legitimately be run.

My parents had flowers delivered to me on my birthday. They were flimsy and petals began falling after the first day! I was so disappointed. I told my parents about the issue and when they contacted Ava’s florist they did not offer another delivery, and only gave them 20 dollars refund. The product they promise is not good, the quality is horrible. The total arrangement was in the trash container after only 3 days. They probably contract out to local florists, but Ava’s is still responsible for making it right, which they did not do. Do not order flowers from this company; you will be sorely disappointed.

Was to be delivered by noon and they showed up after 2pm. For me it was the thought that counted, but extremely unhappy at what he paid and what I got. This business has no right being a business. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered an arrangement on 6/11 to be delivered on 6/12. I also had to change the arrangement that I ordered and only was able to pick out of a select few. My arrangement wasn't delivered until 6/17. When the arrangement got to the recipient it was wilted and dying and the chocolate covered strawberries were completely broken and damaged! When I finally got a hold of someone I was only offered $27.96 refund on a 93.21 order. I am completely disgusted. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN.

Horrible experience. They spoiled my daughter's birthday surprise. These fools delivered 1 day early even though I gave them the date of her birthday and paid a hefty delivery fee. They also robbed me by charging $6.99 for a bunch of birds balloons and only delivered 1 ballon with order.

When the original order failed to be delivered on the request date. Customer service called me to select from other options but refused to grant a refund when a refund was requested. When the substitute order was delivered, the flowers were of poor quality & half of the order was missing. Part of the substitute was to apply 40% off of the price however the 40% was never applied to the bill.

This is my second time ordering from here and the only reason I left a 1 star is because I have to pick one to leave a review. The rush delivery is a lie. I have ordered twice and both times they guarantee delivery even through customer service by a certain time and they never arrive on time. It's so bad that the flowers I order to be delivered has to have a address time every time because they never make it to her work in time before they close. This place is very unprofessional and never on time. Make it a last resort if you want flowers because after they take the money you no longer are a priority.

My son lives in Florida, we live in Illinois. I placed an order to be delivered the Saturday before Father’s Day 2024. Avas sent a text that it was delivered that Friday, it was not. Customer service said it would be delivered that Saturday, they even called my son to say it would be delivered. There is an Avas' store front close to him so I assumed the delivery would happen. It did not. Customer service said they would “make it up to me” by having it delivered Monday. It was not. On Tuesday (6/18/24) customer service called again. I asked for cancellation and a refund. All they could do to “make it up to me” was deliver the order and give me a $15 discount on a $109 total order (price of item, processing fee, delivery charges and taxes). I am very unsatisfied and would NOT recommend using Avas. Instead search for a local florist and order direct! Lesson learned.

Ordered flowers 2 days prior to the event and paid extra so it will be delivered at least before 2pm. Received an update that there was a deliver attempt but will find a suitable time convenient to the recipient when in fact nobody came to deliver. It was all a lie. The recipient did not leave her place and there’s a receptionist in her place all day long. 2 hours passed after the “fake delivery attempt” but still no update and when I inquired on their site, customer service suggested another delivery date!!!! It’s a birthday present and another delivery date?! Not even suggested late delivery but another date!!! What a disappointment!! I cancelled my order!

I placed an order on evening of Day-1 requesting a “before 2pm” delivery on Day-2. Website and checkout process gave no indication if a problem. I checked on delivery status multiple times on Day-2 and website provided no useful info. At 1:56pm on Day-2 text message said to call. Rep said order was “too special” to be delivered that quickly. As it was a birthday gift for that day I didn’t have option of cancelling and getting another company to deliver a different arrangement. Response was “sorry”. It was finally delivered at 4:10pm on Day-3 — 26 hours late. I will never use Avas again.

I went online looking for a florist in Shrewsbury, MA. Avas Flowers come up and I used their online ordering system. It showed that my sympathy arrangement could be delivered on the date I requested. Then I received an email on Saturday morning to call them regarding my order. I called and was informed that they could not deliver to a business on the weekend!! The funeral on Saturday at a church and they could not deliver! They wanted an alternative address. I told them I only had the church. They said they would give me a discount and I told them to cancel my order and give me a refund.
After being placed on hold for several minutes twice, and basically saying all they could do is deliver at a different address, I again told them I wanted a refund and if not I would dispute the charges with my bank card. They finally sent me an email stating they would hive me a refund. But I never had flowers delivered for the service. I can’t believe they cannot deliver to a business on a weekend, especially for a funeral at or church or funeral home! I will never use or recommend this company.

I hope others read all the awful reviews BEFORE you purchase from this company!! Guaranteed delivery (by 3 days) and then changed it last minute and changed the flowers also. I tried to cancel through their website, but it forced me to call. Why? Because they try and try and try to FORCE you to reconsider and to let them still deliver what I DIDN'T order and WHEN I didn't order it to be delivered. AWFUL!! I had to repeat myself 7 times to get them to cancel the order. No kidding...7 times. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered a medium spray for my niece's funeral service. The spray alone was 174.99. Then there was a service fee & tax which totalled 208.00. I contacted the shop that Ava's sent the order to & they told me Avas Florist paid the shop to make a small which was 144.00. The flowers didn't even come close to what I ordered. Avas Flowers only cares about making as much money as they can, basically ripping off the customer. After several phone calls & emails Avas finally reimbursed me for 29.99 The difference from a medium spray to a small. Horrible company. Plus their webpage said they were a local florist which they weren't they are a wire service. The company doesn't care about people. All they care about is profit. I want to get my money back since the arrangement was nothing like what I ordered. I will never order from Avas & have told family & friends to say clear of this business when in need of this type of service.

Site is a complete scam. You will not get what you ordered. They will charge you $25 just to order their flowers. They make it look like they are local to the city you are sending them to, but they aren't, they are a front. They have 1-star ratings on Yelp, Google and the BBB with thousands of reviews. The comments on Instagram are turned off. Their website claims to have 4 star ratings, when they don't. There are hundreds of complaints on the BBB. The arrangement we ordered pictured roses. We got daisies and other cheap flowers. This was for a funeral. It was bright, gaudy and inappropriate. They hung up on us when they called (because you can't call to complain, you put in a ticket and they call you back).

Never order flowers from this place again. Ordered flowers for my dad’s funeral and never arrived. I had already spoke with salesperson 3 times a day before to verify address to be delivered and they never delivered anything. I demand a refund and I was given an option for free flowers. Absolutely miserable. Dozen red roses ordered yesterday morning, "guaranteed Same Day delivery". 36 hours later, no flowers. Sent Text inquiry, then received notification that they were no longer available. They offered to deliver them sometime NEXT WEEK. I demanded they cancel the order & refund my $109.00. They refused & tried to charge me for a Cancellation. Avas totally Failed, and they're still trying to charge me! I am livid. They sent an email later, saying they processed a refund. Don't bother doing business with these people. They will let you down & make you look like a monkey's uncle. I wish I could give ZERO stars.

Everyone avoid this business. They are terrible and insanely overcharged their customers. We had ordered a nice flower arrangement for my friend who had just become a United States citizen, and nothing they sent matched what we had asked for which of course was red, white and blue and the flowers they sent looked like gas station flowers. Avoid at all cost. This business should be closed.

Ordered over the phone spring bouquet with colorful tulips in dark pink vase. Cost 100.00$+. Was called and said would have to substitute something similar but equally lovely. Sent 5 white roses with green fill in a clear vase. I should have had a relative stop at grocery store for $25. They made a bunch of empty promises. I worked at a florist for many years and know. On the site they have a whole bouquet of white roses (10-15) for 69$.

AWFUL!!!! The Grand Bouquet priced at $75 was the size of paper towels standing upright; the quality was a sad sight; the $5 extra "card" was a piece of printer paper, hand cut, with a message. Then you add the $25 delivery fee- when you go through their website to inquire where the bouquet is because it hasn't arrived at the time, their automatic statement says they are contacting FedEx for an update. The white, unmarked van arrived with the pitiful display of flowers and I signed on a hand written ripped piece of paper for custody of the "said" flowers. This company is a RIP OFF!!!!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Ava's Flowers, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction in the hopes of preventing others from encountering similar issues. The delivery was a nightmare. Despite paying extra for same-day delivery, the flowers arrived several days late, completely missing the intended occasion. When I reached out to the company to express my concerns, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. It took multiple attempts to get a response, and when I finally did, the representative was unhelpful and dismissive. They offered no apology and seemed more interested in ending the call quickly than in addressing my issue.
When I requested a refund or at least a partial compensation for the ruined experience, I was given the runaround. The company’s policy on refunds and returns is deliberately convoluted and seems designed to discourage customers from seeking redress. After several frustrating conversations, I was left without a satisfactory resolution and felt utterly disregarded as a customer. Overall, my experience with Avas Flowers was incredibly disappointing. From the abysmal customer service and delivery issues, it was a series of failures on every front. I strongly advise against using this company for any floral needs, especially for important occasions. Save yourself the frustration and choose a more reputable florist who values their customers and stands behind the quality of their products.

I called Avas Flowers on 5/22 and ordered a plant to be delivered the next day. It was meant to be a sympathy plant. I specifically asked "John" if they would be delivered the next day. He assured me they would. The next day I received a text to call them. I was told they could not deliver due to deliver driver availability. Later I was told product issues. I said I'd be be willing to change the order but it had to be delivered that day. They said it could not. The person was rambling so fast I literally couldn't get a word in! It was impossible to communicate with her.
I asked to speak with a manager. After waiting 30 min I hung up and called back. Finally spoke with a Kate who confirmed they couldn't fulfill the delivery. I still do not know exactly why. They kept telling me they could deliver the following day but that was not an option for me. This business tried very hard to make me satisfied by telling me they were sorry, telling me they had someone pass away so they understand etc. What they do not understand is they FALSELY advertise same day delivery then cannot deliver! I demanded a refund and received it but the damage was done.

Thought they were local to where the delivery would be. They weren't. Ordered a plant for Mother's day. Received a number of emails saying that delivery date was postponed. First call to them they gave me a $20.00 refund. Had another delayed delivery, they said they were unable to get the plant I had ordered and offered to send a different kind of basket. I decided that wasn't acceptable and cancelled the order. They did give me a full refund. I will not order from them again.

Greetings! My Aunt who turned 104 today received these flowers that were nothing like what the internet states. The least you could have done is match the color of the flowers were golden! Instead you sent a red balloon with mostly greens and sent in an ugly green vase! This is below expectation, not even the base! This was a $90 order that looks reticent for the lack of better words! Did not care for Avas Flowers. They make it sound like they are a local florist when in fact they are not. They are just a middle man. I did not find this out until I tried to find them on Google maps. Their website had beautiful displays of flower arrangements but that is not what I got. Was notified 3 times about changing the order through a computer notification when I took care of order on first notification. The arrangement that I selected was not available (go figure) and had to change my order at the florist that they were using discretion. Don't know what I actually paid for but Avas Flowers assured me that it was of equal value. Next time I will ensure that the florist I'm using is ACTUALLY local.

I will not be using them ever again. I ordered my flowers for a special occasion and on the day they should have been delivered I got a text stating they couldn’t deliver. I should have cancelled my ordered but I was promised they would be delivered Tuesday AFTER 5 pm and would be getting an upgrade. I got 12 dozen roses that stayed outside because no one was home at noon to bring them inside. It was an ugly 12 roses-not an upgrade. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered a Yucca plant for my daughter with some balloons to be delivered to her workplace. They didn't actually have a Yucca plant to send and sent her an orchid instead, and they didn't send the balloons that I ordered either! When I called, they tried to say that since the order changed, the balloons weren't included. But they charged the same price!! I will never use them again!

I ordered sunflowers for my daughter since she loves them. Was supposed to get ten stems and got only four. They were beautiful but when I called the florist on the card I called 14 times with no pick up and no voicemail. $88 for ten sunflowers was excessive but for 4 it is robbery. Called Ava's— very pleasant but offered to pick up wrong arrangement and use SAME florist. I refused. I got $25 refund for flowers that were shown as ten stems for $49 with vase. So four sunflowers and a dollar store vase cost me $24 and $63 total because they still charged for the service charge paid to crooked florist that delivered. It was a bad deal for me.
I was sending to another state and didn’t get a local florist like I thought I was getting. When I visit my daughter, I am going to list actual florists in her city and won’t be using Ava’s. Their solution just was pretty stingy even though presented by a pleasant customer service person—kind of ruined the birthday surprise too as they came a day early and texted HER not me. What was meant to be a cheerful gesture turned into an annoying screw up.

Welp, yikes... Feeling silly for not having checked reviews prior to ordering from Avas. On Consumer Affairs, 91% of the 3,230 reviews are rated 1 out of 5 with an overall rating of 1.2 out of 5. Yikes. I guess I will be adding another 1 rating since there's no option to rate at 0. I ordered flowers to be delivered to a relative in the hospital on Saturday, 5/18. I wasn't notified until Sunday that the flowers were NOT delivered and that the soonest they could deliver was Monday 5/20. Initially, while on the phone with customer support, I agreed to the Monday delivery. However, about 10 minutes later I changed my mind (I placed a new order with a florist that doesn't suck for Sunday delivery). I attempted to call customer support back and after listening to their outgoing message spew false information about how fantastic they are and being routed around until I was disconnected. Twice. I then made 2 unsuccessful attempted to cancel my order on their website.
I then emailed Avas twice informing them that if they were not able to refund the $30 service fee, then they should cancel my order. I never received a reply. Then on Monday, 5/20, I get a text notification that the flowers were delivered. I just spent about an hour on the phone with customer support trying to get a 100% refund. I was eventually able to get a refund for the $10 delivery fee and $30 service fee, but not for the flowers. I was going to call the recipient of the flowers to see how they looked once finally delivered, but after reading so many bad Avas reviews, I'm not even going to ask. In fact, I actually think I forgot to indicate who the flowers were from when I placed the order, and now I'm glad about that.

Was about to order flowers for a friend and called the help line to finish my order. Flowers were $39.99 and my total was $98.99. I questioned the total because there was a free delivery sale going on. The customer support person I was on the phone with gave me that deal after I questioned her about it and then my total was dropped to $79.99 due to tax and a service fee. I told them I was not interested anymore because I could get a better deal somewhere else where I’m not doubling my order with hidden fees. The lady pressured me to buy, saying they were the lowest around and anywhere else would be charging me hundreds of dollars more. Not true! Went to Hyvee and got a dozen roses and deliver for $50 after tax! Will not try using this company again.

Terrible scamming company! I wish I had researched this company before placing an order for my friend whose mother died. They promised the same day delivery but they don't deliver on the same day. They sneak in an extra surcharge of over $25 after you have already put in your credit card information. It was impossible to get a hold of customer service to cancel my order or have questions answered the day I placed the order. Someone from the company called me today and just spoke over me a dozen times trying to offer me increased discounts to not cancel the order even though that's what I had to ask for over five times. They then proceeded to provide a cancellation refund number that was absolutely incredibly long in case sensitive. I don't know what this company's game is, but somehow they are thriving off of scamming people. Don't do it.

I ordered the $50 Get Well soon medium bear bouquet. They called me, said they were out of the bears, but had a dog. I was fine with that. They were delivered in a timely manner, except not one balloon had Get Well on it. They were just solid colors. After fees and taxes it cost $90. Extremely disappointed. I don't recommend.

After ordering and PAYING for my order I received an urgent email. They did not have the flowers in my order.. However an EQUALLY lovely arrangement was promised. What I received was 1/5 the size of what I paid for.. Not one color that I requested. After "service fees" and getting free delivery (9.99) I paid close to 100.00 for literally 3 flowers... Lots of greenery, in a glass bowl the size of a child's cereal bowl. They took a very happy occasion (Anniversary) and quite literally RUINED it. Please choose a different florist... STAY AWAY FROM AVAS FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS!!! I highly will suggest you stay away from ordering any flowers from this Avas Flower arrangement, they deliver the flower not only late but dead! My Newphew and I place an order with Avas Flower for my sister. He paid $120.00. The flower was suppose to be a beautiful Big flower arrangement for Mother’s Day. Never came. 3 days later we called and called, they gave excuses, said it was going be delivered. We called over 5 times after I called and threaten them that if I don’t get these flower arrangement I will contact BBB and put them on Social media if I didn’t receive the flowers before 7.
At 6:45 they delivered a ugly mini flower arrangement that literally looks like a five dollar flower arrangement. The vase you could get it in the dollar store! After we called and complaint again my newphew told them is this how they do business, this was unacceptable. They stated they will resend the flower and pick up the other one.
After a few calls again today they deliver the flower arrangements and they was dead flower arrangement. I highly suggest stay away from ordering flowers from Avas Flower unless you want flowers that wasn’t what you paid. Their site shows beautiful flowers, trust and believe this would not be what you receive. I rate this company F 3 F!!!!! And I will be contacting BBB cause they did not fix the problem other than make the matter worse, stay away from ordering from this company!!! This business is a total scam. They charged a 24 dollar fee after they gave me a total and took my credit card information. The order that was supposed to be delivered between 8-3pm arrived at 3:30 when the recipient was no longer there. Reporting a problem is automated and does not give you the opportunity to report what is actually wrong. Shame on them.

I need back my money. I placed an order on Avas Flowers and it was the worst thing ever!!! I did not receive what I paid for. The flowers were withered and it was so untidy and most of the flowers were missing. Attached is what I got versus what I ordered. Also, I ordered 3 balloons I only got 1. I made a complaint via their customer service support page and they stated that my mom signed for it so they can’t do anything about it. I made the purchase, not my mom. She sent me a photo when she got it and I notified them right away.

This is the first review I've written in God knows how long. Friday, I ordered an arrangement for my girlfriend to be delivered by Mother's Day and got a confirmation email saying that my order would be there no later than Sunday. I paid $10 for delivery, and a ridiculous $35 service fee on top of the cost of the arrangement. Sunday comes, and I check-in with my girlfriend to see if anything has been delivered to her yet (we live in different states, otherwise I'd have just brought them to her myself) and she said there wasn't any delivery.
I had received ZERO updates from Avas about the delivery being delayed or unable to be fulfilled up to that point. I tried to contact their customer service line, but kept being redirected to their AI chatbot to get any type of response. After finally finding a way to get my actual situation through the chatbot, I received an email saying that a customer service ticket had been submitted and that I'd be receiving an email about updates. I never received that update.
I called again today to see what the hell was going on. The woman from the call center (there's no way they have an in-house customer service rep) said they tried to call me to inform me that the order had been delayed until Thursday. I never received a call, voicemail, or email up to that point. Now I'm pissed. She offered $10 off the order so I wouldn't cancel. I told her the only way I'd consider keeping the delivery is if they waived the delivery AND service fee completely. Why would I pay a service fee for a trash service? She said her team could give me $20. We went back and forth until she said $30 was the best they could offer, and I told them to cancel and refund my whole purchase. Waste of money and time if you're going to use this service. Now I'm scrambling to get something as a replacement. Avoid at all costs.

You are much better off just contacting a florist in the city of delivery instead of using Avas as a middle man. The 5-star ratings that they advertise on their website must be a total lie because I can't even find reviews on the websites that they mention, and all other reviews I find are 1-2 stars. I wish I had thought to confirm their ratings before using them. The bouquet they delivered looked nothing like what I ordered and did not look like a value-match either. They didn't deliver part of my order and instead of trying to find out what happened, they just immediately issued a refund. It is almost impossible to talk to someone on the phone, and the chat help on their website is basically useless.

As of late the night of Mother's Day I had not gotten a notification about them being delivered so I had to ask my mother-in-law if she had received them. Well, that spoiled the surprise of her getting them. So after several phone calls to try to get ahold of a human being to talk to about my order I was told that they had too many orders to deliver and did not get to all of them delivered. I asked why I wasn't notified the response I got was that they don't do that and that I can get them delivered if I still wanted to. Of course, I did since she knew now that she was supposed to get them. I asked if I could get some kind of discount and all I got was a $10 refund off of a $100 order. Granted I have been using Avas Flowers for a few years and have always been happy with them but after this no more ordering from them. I also guess that if I hadn't called them they would have just kept my money.

If I could I would give zero stars. This company is a scam, joke and liar. I ordered flowers May 6th for Mother's Day May 12th. They were to be delivered between May 10-12th. I get a text and email saying it was delivered on Mother's Day May 12th. NOPE! Not true. She never received them. I called the company and they had to verify they we not delivered. So once they do they call me back and say there were not this was on Monday May 13th. They call my MIL and ask her if she got them? She says no. They call me back and email and text me wanting me to pick something else. I say I do not want anything else I want a refund.
Mother's Day has come and gone. They try to say I need to order something else. Emailing me photos of a dozen roses which is NOT what I had ordered. I insist I want nothing but a refund. They then say let me see what your options are...we can send something and give you 20% back. I inform them the ONLY option is 100% refund and immediately or I will get our attorney involved. That you did not deliver on what you had promised and I have all the emails and text to prove it. That I ordered in good faith and you didn't deliver in good faith but took my money.
I finally get them to give me a refund but NOT without arguing and letting them know I would contact an attorney. It is a shame you have to strong arm people and go there to get your money back when they do not follow through with what they promised and you paid for. I hope others read reviews before using this company and DO NOT use them. I could have saved myself if I would have just read the reviews first. They then want to send an email and I will copy it saying how they regret to inform me they cannot fulfill the order and they proactively cancel and quickly refund etc...blah blah blah. NO YOU DO NOT!!! Lies once again. I had to demand my money back for something I did not get. You tried to say on the phone call I was canceling my order... no sir YOU DID NOT DELIVER! So the moral of the story DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS!

I was out of town at college for Mother's Day and wanted my Mom to know I appreciate her so I decided to order her flowers. Avas Flowers seems like it will be reasonably priced but they add a bunch of service fees and surcharges after you give them your debit information and make it really hard to get a refund. And if that wasn't enough, they got my flowers delivered to my mom a day late. She says that she loves them, so maybe it was worth it, but I think she would have said that no matter what because she liked getting flowers and wanted me to feel good.

My flowers were never delivered for Mother's Day even though I ordered them on the 20th of May and received a text confirmation that they were delivered! When I called to enquire about the delivery I was told that we can refund your money and gave a fake sorry apology. All this from the Philippines! No apology or try to make it right for the customer. I requested that since it was their mistake I needed to get the flowers free. Instead I had this woman telling me how she lost her Mom many years ago and that Mother's Day brings bad memories. I wish I could give Zero Stars, I ordered flowers for a funeral, called to find out the status, emailed and used the CHAT, neither worked as no one answers. Finally got an incompetent individual. He informed me they could not deliver the flowers to the mortuary but could deliver them to an alternate address in the same town, how ironic. But when I questioned that, he could not provide the details. STAY AWAY from AVAS FLOWERS, go somewhere else, I wish I had checked the reviews first. Mother's Day 2024 - why I ordered from Avas I don't know. 'Free Delivery' but then tacked on $25 service charge. Ordered because I needed flowers delivered that day. I selected Mother's Day Majestic. After 2 calls from them saying they were short on the flowers but they could have a designer put together a mixed arrangement just as nice. I said OK. NOT delivered that day! After several complaints to them a delivery was made next day AFTER I told them to cancel. Both mom and I were disappointed in what was delivered - a few tulips placed into an X-large vase that were drooping by Mother's Day! Of course they didn't want to credit my account!! Fraudulent.

Well the 3 day flex window and Mother's Day weekend passed and NO FLOWERS! I had to submit a help request after the window passed and no delivery confirmation, then they originally told me they could get it delivered that same day (2 days later than scheduled), then lied and said it would be 2 days out. Initially I was very impressed with the support I received over the phone. I am Canadian and I wanted to send flowers to my mother in Sun City, Az. I was afraid to use my credit card online so I called the store to have them complete the order. The lady recommended I purchase the "large" size arrangement vs the small or medium size so that there would be more flowers. She said the arrangement would be delivered later that day (May 10) or the next day (May 11) as Mother's Day was a super demanding. I confirmed that early delivery was fine. The first disappointment was when I received my receipt and I realized there was a $27 service fee that had not been mentioned. However, I was able to overlook this minor disappointment because of the convenience of knowing my mother would receive flowers for Mother's Day.
My mom received her flowers on the Saturday May 11th as suggested, but I was surprised and very disappointed to see how small the arrangement was. I had paid $100 Usd and the arrangement was 8' tall with very limited flowers. Not at all what was promised. In receiving my credit card invoice I realized the company address was not located in Sun City West, Az but instead 200 CONTINENTAL DR, NEWARK, DE 19713, UNITED STATES. I will not be ordering flowers from this company again.

If only I could leave a 0 I would. No tracking for my Mothers Day delivery. Just kept saying that they were on it and would get back to me. Well that didn't happen. Paid extra for speedy delivery and that didn't happen. Ordered on Friday just to wait until Sunday to be told it would be delivered on Tuesday. That doesn't help at all when Mother's day was Sunday and they will not communicate with you at all. Terrible company and I have learned my lesson to call a local florist.

This company is the biggest scam! Ruined our Mother’s Day by not delivering the flowers. Ordered in plenty of time. Do not order from them ever! We spoke to a customer service rep who assured us they would be delivered today.

Avas Flowers is a 3rd party florist scam that deliberately misleads and overcharges customers in multiple ways. For starters, if you search for “florist [ cityname]” they plug in the name of the city on their consumer facing web page, creating the illusion that they are an actual florist in that city. Then, when I ask specifically if I am speaking with a florist located in that specific city, the person says “Yes, we are in [city name]”. When I ask about getting a custom arrangement, different from the arrangements shown on the web site (which are all nondescript round bunches of ordinary spring flowers), the agent tells me it is too late for custom orders for next day delivery on Mother’s Day. Ok, fair enough.
I pick one of the arrangements shown, and ask for the large version of the arrangement, with a card that said Happy Mother’s Day. The web site advertises free delivery, but as I am paying for the order, I discover that there is a delivery fee, even though I am supposedly speaking to a florist in a very small town. Then I discover that there is also a service fee that is 30% of the cost of the flowers. I should have realized what was going on and stopped the order at this point - no small-town florist who wants to stay in business tacks on a 30% service and delivery charge just as you are completing an order. But I really wanted to get the flowers to my Mom for Mother’s Day. I was told that a confirmation would be sent to my email. The real kicker was that the next day, when I called my Mom mid-afternoon on Mother’s Day, she had still not received the flowers. So I called Avas Flowers and the automated system requested my order number.
At this point I had still received no confirmation email from Avas Flowers, so I did not even have an order number. The automated system eventually found my order based on my phone number, and that was when I learned that the flowers would not be delivered until the Tuesday after Mother’s Day. It’s not possible to cancel an order more than 24 hours after it is placed, and “holiday” orders can’t be cancelled at all. I had still not received a confirmation from Avas Flowers as I was writing this - I had to request an order confirmation online to attach to this complaint. This company should be shut down for false advertising and deceptive practices.

Bait and switch, price doubled with hidden fees, and late delivery. Ordered blue glass vase with purple flowers, white lilies and yellow roses. What arrived- a day late- was a tiny Grey box with 4 mums and a couple completely dead roses. The original $50 price estimate jumped to $100 when they tacked on multiple hidden fees. Do not waste your money or disappoint loved ones.

Not happy at all, with the service I got from Avas flowers. I should of learned my listen, when they sent a bouquet that looked nothing like I had order. Came back to pick them up And my mother's has yet to receive her flowers for Mother's Day. Never again will I spend my currency on this business. They only thing I can say IS MAKE SURE YOU ORDER FROM A BUSINESS THAT IS IN THAT TOWN.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day, and paid $123 for a premium basket, and guaranteed delivery on 5/11 or 5/12. Mother's Day at 11:00 I get a call asking if they can deliver on the 15th. I said just cancel the order. They offered a $10 coupon and an apology call. Again I said no cancel, they countered with what about $20? No, please cancel the order. I finally got a refund email. I will check to ensure the funds were returned.

This is the 3rd time I have used Avas flowers. My daughter was leaving the hospital with her newborn delivery. Just happened to pop in on her way out. 2nd order I placed a Christmas order well in advance for my mother for her Christmas party. Flowers were ordered 2 weeks in advance but was delivered close to 10:00 P.M. Too late. Now I have placed an order for Mother’s Day. They charged me an additional $27.95. Statements say been delivered on time. Then I get an email telling me they will arrive the day AFTER Mother’s Day. Outrageous! Can I get a hold of them? Of course not! This is the last time I place any orders with them. In the future I will stick with ProFlowers. Mother’s Day is a total flop for us. Such an awful company to deal with. I expect a $27.95 service fee plus $9.95 delivery fee to be refunded to me. Awful experience with Avas Flowers.

Avas Flowers is NOT a florist. It is a company that takes your order and then attempts to find a florist in the community to which you are delivering. They are often unsuccessful, and very few Florist want to work with them. I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother’s Day, only to receive a text the day before saying that they could not deliver the flowers until the following Wednesday. When I called customer service, I got very little satisfaction. Fortunately, I was able to find another florist who was able to deliver the flowers on the same day. If you live in the Naples area, I highly recommend Picasso Florist. I called them on Mother’s Day, and they were able to deliver flowers to my mother on Mother’s Day. I will never work with Avas Flowers again.

The person I initially spoke to on the phone was great, she sounded very enthused to complete my order. I placed my ordered for 4 dozen roses on April 30th, 2024 to be delivered on May 10th 2024. I live in Canada and was going to be in Pittsburgh for my girlfriend's bodybuilding competition. I was so excited to surprise her when she got off prejudging and was assured they'd be delivered by 4-4:30 PM. All day I was checking the delivery status and Ava's Flower's site said they had no info. Eventually I called and was assured I'd have them by 7 PM latest, I was even called by another associate asking me about drop off.
As it was approaching 7 PM I checked the site again and the delivery date had been switched to the following day.. I was very upset about this, I was so badly hoping to surprise her with the flowers but was let down unfortunately.. I was refunded in full which was great but still, with the amount of time they had to prepare it's ridiculous; will never place an order or refer anyone to this service.

A complete and absolute dishonest company. Did not deliver anything like the photo. Ordered a ballon to be attached - no delivery. Added charges and tax after I had paid the invoice. I am in Australia so my hands are tied as to what I can do to get my money refunded as if I would want a credit from them

Ordered flowers for a Mother's Day gift to my mother-in-law, $135 for a bouquet that was $69 and a box of chocolates. No complain as my mother-in-law live in a pretty hard area to get a local florist, I get a message the same day I made the order to let me know the flower arrangement I picked was out of stock and to pick another one. I then call because the replacement options were not of my liking (it was roses, all roses and I wanted something happy) they tell me the Mother's Day designer choice mix is very similar to what I order and warranty me it would look almost the same as my original order.
They cancel the chocolates however because those are out of stock and can't replace them. All its good and dandy until I receive a photo of the flowers that were delivered. Literally looked like a 14.99 bouquet from Walmart, white Chrysanthemums, and some purple flowers that look like chrysanthemums just smaller. No roses or lilies, or any other "premium" flower, it didn't look happy, it looked like a funeral arrangement.
I called to let them know it looked nothing like the picture, they claimed they had no control on the flowers used, they offered a $15 off, then $20, then $30 after almost 1 hrs they finally agreed to give me a refund on the flowers but not the shipping or handling fee. Honestly save yourself a headache and your $ and avoid this site. It's not worth it and they don't take accountability for their mistakes. Left the pictures of what I ordered vs what she received.
