    I was so dismayed when my sister-in-law sent a picture of the flowers that were delivered. It’s almost all leaves very cheap looking. There was also a service charge of $24 on top of the delivery charge. I have no idea what that was for. I would not ever recommend Avas Florist. I’m still trying to get a hold of them to find out what went wrong.

    This place is a scam, don't order from them!! They emailed and said there was a "problem" with my order and to contact them within 30 minutes. I called 7 times, emailed at least 5 times and no one called me back until 7 hours later trying to give me excuses. My flowers never got delivered to my 83 year old mother for her birthday!! Horrible!!!! Don't use them if you don't want your event ruined!!!

    My sister ordered a floral arrangement through AvasFlowers.net, which was fulfilled by Arts and Flowers. She selected a large arrangement size, and the picture she based her order on was a small arrangement size. What was delivered was even worse--an undersized arrangement with older roses and several leaves floating in the water. To make matters worse, it came in a cheap clear vase, which was not what she expected for the price. She paid a total of $98.72, with only $65 going toward the flowers--the rest were service fees from AvasFlowers.net. Given the poor quality and misleading representation, I would not recommend using either company. Ava's will not give a refund unless you return the flowers.

    Planning on sending some flowers to my daughter in Bethlehem, PA for VD. They had a code for free delivery which was applied for $9.99. Then when checking out, they added a $25 "service fee" to the order! Bait and switch. I will not ever use this company.

    Searched for "PURPLE FLOWERS". Picture appeared exactly what I needed with a purple vase as well. Proceeded with my purchase. PINK FLOWERS and a CLEAR VASE was delivered. Contacted Avas customer support to inform them of the situation and they pretty much said "OH WELL" here's a $20 refund that will appear back on your card in 3-5 days. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I was a first time customer too. The flower color "purple" in their picture that I chose was for the theme and the event I ordered for. Pink flowers is what Avas florist decided to choose for my arrangement..unbelievable!!!

    Don't trust Avas Flowers. They only connect with florists from your local area and charge extra fee for doing what you could have done yourself by calling the local shops. When you call them because your order hasn't been delivered, they don't really help you to fix the problem due to the fact it is a separate vendor actually preparing and delivering the flowers.

    I wouldn't even give a 1 star and not sure how they still are allowed to operate. It is a huge scam. Avas is NOT local florist as advertised. I purposely searched "Local Florist" and Avas came up, great reviews but only on the website which I now know why. They promise next day delivery which does not occur stating recipient was not home but my mother in law was home all day and there weren't any notifications on her Ring camera. I gave them the benefit of the doubt BUT when she sent me a picture of what she received after the fact versus what I ordered and paid for I was shocked!!!

    When I called and waited on hold, left a message. I finally got a phone call back only to have them offer $30.00 credit. Immediate NO considering what I paid and what she received. Needless to say after a lot of back and forth I got a full refund but that doesn't replace the missed birthday and crappy arrangement they delivered. Also, they said for the refund they would have to pick up what was delivered, I told her tell me where and I will drop it off! Shocking they never came.

    Horrible experience. Received an email the flowers were delivered, but our friend never received them. I attempted to contact Avas but it is impossible to talk to anyone. Just kept getting emails that my complaint was being reviewed. Then they would send automated reply that the flowers were delivered. This company certainly smells like a SCAM.

    I had a terrible experience with this florist. I ordered flowers for a memorial service, and they canceled at the last minute without proper notice. It took an unreasonably long time to get my refund, and to make matters worse, they attempted to deliver the flowers three days after the event. Their customer service was horrendous—unresponsive and unhelpful. I would never trust them for an important occasion again. _~Gabriela

How in the world are they still in business. They took money from my account right away. They tell sure the flowers will be delivered today and now it’s been days. The customer service is horrible.

    I ordered flowers for a friend whose mother passed away. I chose the “as shown” option when ordering. I understand not all flowers may be available at the time and substitutions are necessary but what was delivered wasn’t even close. And it was about 1/4 the amount of flowers in the photo. Huge waste of money.

    I would not recommend this flower service if they were the only flower service. We placed an order on Thursday for a Saturday delivery, paid extra for to the delivery made before 2pm. At 6pm there was no delivery. Tried calling all you get is a recording, and some advice to chat with a BOT online. Worthless, so beyond disappointed. If I could have given zero stars I would have chosen that option. Do yourself a favor, run from this site.

    I am completely appalled and disgusted with “Avas Flowers of Henderson.” The flower arrangement I received was an absolute disaster. The flowers arrived unwrapped in a vase with a scratched-off label, which is just awful. My boyfriend sent these flowers to me as a gift, and when I sent him a picture to let him know I received his surprise, he was surprised and annoyed to find that the roses weren’t the color he ordered! He specifically requested red roses as an early Valentine’s Day gift, yet what I received were peachy-colored ones.

    He even forwarded me the order receipt, which I’ve uploaded to verify authenticity to this review. It clearly states that he ordered red roses along with instructions “should be in vase with wrap.” The only redeeming aspect of this experience was that the delivery man called me before arriving at my house. Although I wasn’t home, he kindly delivered them to my location. Overall, this entire situation has left us feeling scammed.

    Do not order from this company. The florals I ordered looked NOTHING like what was delivered to a client! Do not trust this company. Not only that, but I couldn't understand them on the phone. Do not waste your money. I ordered beautiful pastel flowers in a clear vase. OMG, what was delivered could not be any different and looks cheap. See for yourself, not even close. Never again.

    24.95 service fee added after you have seen your bill without it and processed your visa card. Then they say they cannot cancel order when the delivery is the next day and they only received the order 5 minutes ago. This is very fraudulent business practice and I am very surprised they have not been shut down. I thought I was buying from a local florist in Indiana, they pretend to be a florist in the town you're looking for a delivery. They are not, they are third party but do not tell you so.

    DO NOT BE FOOLED! If you believe THEIR ratings, from THEIR Website, which purports to be located in YOUR city, but actually isn't, you will be sorely disappointed. My experience was this: It seemed like a nice arrangement for a reasonable price, and I liked that they were in Minneapolis (Which they actually ARE NOT - Who knows where they're located? New Jersey?). And they offered free shipping, with a code they provided. Seemed good. After I ordered, I got an alert on my phone that a charge had been made to my credit card in an amount that was about $25 higher than I expected. I went back to the Ava's Flowers Website and looked at my order; they had added a $25 service fee to the order.

    I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order, since this was clearly not what I was willing to pay for what I was getting. The CS rep put me on hold for about 10 minutes then said they could not reach the local florist to cancel the order. I insisted that I would not pay for it and that they cancel it. To make a very long story short, after more than 24 hours, the flowers were delivered, despite me telling them in person (on the phone) twice that I was canceling and by email twice that I was canceling. The recipient of the arrangement sent me a photo of the arrangement and it was absolutely nothing like the arrangement I ordered.

    STAY AWAY from this company. I thought I was buying local, and I wasn't. I didn't get what I paid for. Lesson learned. BTW, notice how you cannot do a Google review of them? And, even though they sent me a link to complete their customer survey, when I click the link, I get a "Page does not exist" response, possibly because they know I'd give them a terrible review. Of course, they are not a member of the BBB. Photos: What I ordered is the basket with the yellow flowers, and the other photo is of what the recipient received. Totally different.

    This company is not reliable for what you order and the service fee is ridiculous. Unfortunately I was willing to pay because another company already screwed up for an order and I was desperate for a gift for my special needs friend. I ordered a balloon bouquet. They called to say they did not have that exact order but could substitute. (He loves balloons.) I told the rep as long as it’s balloons that would be fine, I find out the next day they sent him flowers. Are you kidding me? I reached out on every email and message I could find but no response. I finally found a place to set up a complaint ticket so they called. They argued about my approval of a substitute, said nobody in that area has balloons. They finally gave me $24 of the $80 back. Terrible place to order from- scam all the way around. It’s all about money and not good customer service.

    Avas Flowers - My flower order took place January 23, 2025. The advertised price was $58.00 USD. The Final order which included a $24.00 service fee was $98.00. The product delivered looked nothing like the product advertised. The delivery occurred in Phoenix, Arizona. The flowers delivered were absolutely different than those pictured and there were no yellow flowers at all in the bouquet delivered. I am highly dissatisfied and will neither order from Avas again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. I paid twice what was originally advertised and received half the product promised.     If I could give this site a 0 score I would. This is a scam. They claim to be "delivering" or "attempting to deliver" but have not done so. The recipient of the flowers has been waiting for 2 days and nothing. When I have asked for clear resolution to the issue I just get a runaround from a call center which sound like it is overseas. I asked them to cancel the order since they did not deliver and they would not provide me with a cancellation number and just another ru around. I did not see the reviews until after the fact and I was unable to leave a Google review.

    I ordered one of the arrangements advertised on the site. The delivery was delayed by a day, and when it arrived, they had delivered the "wrong size". Basically I paid $100 for a small handful of flowers (12 in total), in a vase the size of a drinking glass. When I eventually got ahold of someone to lodge a complaint, they promised a redelivery, which has not happened over 2 weeks later. Horrible service, overpriced and feels a whole lot like a scam.

    I would not recommend this sorry excuse of flower delivery…Tried to order flowers and balloons for my sick granddaughter and I was 6 minutes past their cut off time .. Ok whatever .. Ordered the next day over an hour before the cut off time .. Still didn’t deliver .. but sent an email saying will be delivered the next day … Then get an update still can’t be delivered .. Then they said they would be delivered and then got another email that they would not be delivered for another 2 days as my granddaughter is laying in a hospital bed… Most horrible experience I have ever had … Worthless.

    The flowers were delivered by Door Dash and the flowers were at a much higher price than advertised on line and left at the wrong address. Door Dash was extremely rude because they wanted a tip (they told the people they would just as soon throw them in the trash). Avas charged me $29.00 service fee for delivery and then sent it thru Door Dash. The flowers were driven over to the right house by neighbors down the street. The flowers were not as advertised and no one will return my calls. The survey they sent me was quickly retracted (link no longer available). Shop somewhere else and don’t fall victim to the low advertised prices that end up costing much more than other florists.

    I ordered funeral flowers 5 days in advance, for delivery in Amherst, NY. They went back and forth with me first asking for approval to change flowers (“designer's choice”), second to say they could not deliver to Amherst! I selected them because they say, online, that they have an Amherst location! I am heartbroken that there are no flowers at my Aunt’s funeral today. Do not use this florist.

    HEARTBREAKING and EMBARRASSING!!!! I should have read Avas Flowers reviews before putting my trust in this company to deliver flowers on such a very important day! I ordered sympathy flowers for my dear aunt's visitation and funeral which NEVER arrived. I ordered the flowers on a Thursday which gave them ample time to deliver them. I was told when I placed the order that the flowers would be delivered on Saturday for the visitation on Sunday and the funeral on Monday. You choose to show your sympathy and love to the family of your loved one through the flowers you send and when that doesn't happen how do you explain to them you DID order flowers but the ones you trusted DID NOT do their job!

    They advertise being local (they are not)!!! They told me they couldn't find a designer, what does that mean?? I strongly advise against using this company, use a local florist. This is unacceptable for a company to accept your trust, your payment and the responsibility to handle this very important task and then not deliver. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with getting flowers delivered. Save yourself from the HEARTBREAK and the EMBARRASSMENT. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    Terrible results, flowers were dropped at the front door, and they did not notify the resident by knocking or ringing the doorbell. Flowers sat outside until the next day when they were discovered, and the flowers were frozen. I could only get a refund on 1/3 of my order. If I could go zero stars, I would.

    The worst company I've dealt with in a long time. Advertising same day delivery, paid rush order fee. They did not complete same day order, so I called to cancel as later date would not work. They continue to push 25$ discount and will not refund. Call and call. They hang up, no supervisor available. If they do call back it rings 1 time and hangs up. Outsourced customer service reps. Terrible company. Still haven't gotten a refund.

    Worst Florist ever. Same day delivery is a total lie!!! They ruined my daughter’s birthday but not delivering anything. This page is a SCAM.     Horrible experience. They said they couldn’t deliver the arrangement to the funeral home due to their hours. They wanted to deliver it to the deceased house. I told them no that I wanted a refund. They tried to talk me out of the refund and told me they give me a coupon for a bigger arrangement. I said, "No. I want a refund." They then switch me to somebody else and they try to talk me out of the refund. I will never do business with them again. It was a nightmare. If you can’t have your flowers delivered to the place where you need it the most - a funeral home, how the heck are you in business to deliver flowers to funeral homes in the first place?

    I gave two stars because the flowers did arrive the next day. I ordered from Avas Flowers because they offered next day delivery. Before looking to buy on their site, you should also be aware there is a $28 service fee to order from them. The fee is not discovered until you get to the last phase of checkout. So the flowers listed online that are on sale free delivery with a code are almost $30 more than the advertised price.

    If you do decide to order from them, I would wait a few minutes before completing the checkout process. I was looking at another site on a different device at flowers while holding this order in place and they offered a 15% discount on the order if you check out now. Because of that I decided to go ahead with the order. I added pictures below. The picture in the dark vase is what was pictured online. The other pictures are what was delivered. In my opinion that is a significant difference from what was ordered. I did not ask for a discount or refund as she was happy to have gotten flowers. However, I will not be ordering from them again.

    I wish I would have read reviews first. My friend just lost her mother and she is alone in this. I sent her a $60 bouquet with high delivery cost to be final cost over $100. What I ordered is now what she got at all. It's pathetic. She must think I'm ridiculous not knowing how to send something for sympathy. It was not the same size, not the same colors. Nothing. It was a couple of cheap daisies and one rose in the middle of this small vase. I ordered a medium size vase with white lilies and pink roses.

    This has to be the WORST experience I’ve ever had trying to order flowers online. I wanted to send some flowers to a friend of mine in New Mexico so I googled “New Mexico Florist” and this was one of the first sites to pop up. I scrolled through the different arrangements, found one that I liked and ordered it. Same day delivery was not an option so I selected the following day. No problem.

    After I put my credit card info in and submitted my payment, that’s when things went south. First off, they didn’t have the arrangement that I wanted…. Secondly, the delivery date wasn’t available…. Thirdly, they didn’t even get sent from New Mexico!!! They were sent from freaking KENTUCKY via UPS!!! THE WORST ONLINE FLORIST EVER!!! A $55 order turned into a $90 order after everything was said and done. 🤬

    My wife wanted to send flowers to her sister in the hospital. We thought using a local florist would be a good idea. They never delivered the flowers. Called them 3 days after they were delivered and we told them they didn't get delivered. They said "oh yeah". They asked if they could send the next day (4 days after they were supposed to).     AVAS FLOWERS cost the consumer about TWICE as much as the advertised price online. Many hidden and service fees that are not obvious to the consumer.

    My order to a lady in the hospital was NOT DELIVERED. Days later, they are still trying to find it! I have requested a REFUND. That hasn't happened either as some supposed search for delivery is going on. Through AVAS communication means, it is impossible to speak to a live human. Any possible call-back will be marked as "Potential Spam." I guess this HUGE outfit doesn't want customers to pick up the phone. I would "add photos," but my order hasn't arrived! And where one might "upload a receipt for verification"--Avas doesn't offer the customer a receipt--just an order number. "Family Owned"--I don't think so!

    If there is a NEGATIVE 100, that's what I would choose! Balloon and card did not arrive. Ordered LARGE BOUQUET, what arrived was SMALL with missing balloon and card. $119 was the cost -- AVAS FLOWERS is a scam!

    The company advertises that it is a local florist. It is not. When we had a problem with the delivery and the delivery man was making "urgent" calls to us, we could not reach a human being. Today we tried to find out the problem but could not reach a human being; when we wrote the nature of our complaint, the automated system replied "Thank you for you comments and suggestion. It has been a pleasure serving you". We felt deceived by this company representing itself as a small local florist -- it is assigns the delivery to another florist that is in their network.     The bouquet that was ordered first was not delivered. When a replacement bouquet arrived it was nothing like what I ordered. The look, feel, and colors used were totally different. Not to mention the card I paid extra for was never delivered. When I contacted Avas - had to be online, you can't reach them by phone - they did try and call back. However, the call came through as a "Telemarketer" not as the company. And just because I was curious, I answered the phone. No one was on the line when I answered, so figured it was just a robocall telemarketer. Turned out I just didn't wait long enough.

    I received an email saying they had tried to reach me and to confirm my phone number. I emailed them back asking them to try again and promised to wait as long as it took before someone answered on their end. They did call back and the person on the phone was helpful and did have another bouquet sent out the same day. However, like I said, it was nothing like what I ordered and the card was not included. See the photo of what I was expecting and what was received. The size of bouquet I ordered was the "as shown" size. What I received is not worth the $88.16 that they charged. (There was a last minute service fee of $24.95 add!) I am still waiting to hear back from Avas Flowers regarding the card and the very disappointing bouquet that was sent. I received an email saying that a support ticket had been issued. We'll see what happens.

They told us they did not have the flowers for a white spray for $193.91. They would fill it in with light colored roses. I am showing what we got. This was for a very important time.     I went online and ordered flowers and candy for my daughter. I paid extra to a rush delivery by 2:00 pm. It’s now 3:15 pm and no delivery yet.     I placed an order this morning, and paid the rush delivery fee of $9.99 with the promise of the floral arrangement being delivered prior to 2 pm. I had the recipient of the arrangement have lunch in her office and be available to receive it. Sadly, it was not delivered prior to 2 pm, and speaking with customer service was not reassuring. It’s unfortunate that this occurred, I will not recommend this shop, nor would I order from here again. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service received, and still no arrangement delivered until 5 pm according to the rep. Sad service!     I recently ordered from Avas for my godparents' 68th anniversary on 11/27/2024. They delivered that order on 12/27/24, a month later. $90.00 later and I had to call my godmother to see if she received them. Couldn't get anywhere with the website and not with the phone calls or web chat. I was totally embarrassed that I had to call and see if she got them a month later. I will never use them again.     I ordered this lovely basket for family in California so I looked for a local florist thinking delivery would be quicker. First of all I was sent invoice for order and incorrect size of basket was placed as an order by representative, I paid $104.00. The delivery was to be by 7pm that day and my son stayed home waiting on order, he got a call saying no delivery until the next day. It came very early in am and was a pitiful basket. Minimal fruit looked like old small pickings, there were 2 packages of cheese one label from Trader Joe’s $3.00, another with a part of Ross label on it. There was a mustard but no sausage roll for the mustard. Overall a disgusting presentation, super poor quality.

    After many calls to customer service I was unable to get address to return the basket or anyone that could help me with a refund. I have started the dispute process with my credit card company. Please do not make the mistake I did, I think this is some kind of a scam. No customer service, not even sure it is a local company.

    This has been the worst experience I've ever had with getting flowers delivered. They promised to deliver flowers for my aunt on 12/23/24. It never happened and they charged me an extra $40. The phone system would hang up on me when I would check on the status of the delivery. When I would get the call center on the phone, they kept promising it would be delivered that day. On 12/27/24 I just asked for a refund because I no longer believe they will ever deliver the Christmas flowers. They offered me a coupon, but I turned it down. I don't plan on ever using them again.

    If I could give a minus star rating I would. My boss vacations in a rural area and there is not much delivery available. I checked with Avas Flowers on November 28 and they said they could deliver on December 23, so I placed a Christmas order to deliver to him. The day came and went and no delivery. The website only has pre-loaded answers, so not at all helpful. I called customer service and had to leave a call back number. The guy who called said it was on the truck for delivery that day (12/24) and I would receive a text/email. Nothing. I called again on December 26 and told them they had ruined my Christmas, and to cancel my order. It took 20 minutes, and refusing discounts on future deliveries before I finally got confirmation that I would be refunded for my order. Doesn't change the fact that the gift never arrived, and I am embarrassed to not have a gift for him. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS COMPANY

    I ordered my mom a bouquet for her birthday. Paid for a card, a ribbon, the bouquet itself, and delivery fees. Her birthday rolls around and I receive a notification that the flowers were delivered, only they weren't. I called their customer support line and went around in circles for over two hours dealing with the most unhelpful automated messaging system before giving up and calling their sales department, at which point two separate women said they would transfer me to someone who could help (spoiler alert: the calls dropped both times).

    I received a lackluster email telling me that they created a ticket for my case and they would get back to me within 24hrs. I never heard from them, so I called on my own the next day and after being told by a sales rep that I would be transferred to a REAL PERSON who would be able to help me, I instead was transferred to yet ANOTHER automated system that had me complete a 3 question survey about my experience before hanging up on me.

    Incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication on the 'customer support' end of the business, if it can even be called that, and I'm annoyed that I dropped $100 on an absolute farce. I've since disputed the charge with my bank seeing as no one at Avas Flowers cares to answer the phone or offer any genuine assistance. Save your money and find a local florist to order from instead, or better yet just hand deliver your loved ones a bouquet. Stay far away from this shoddy operation if you value your money or your sanity.

    Currently I am online with Avas Flowers, for the last 30 minutes, due to the non-delivery of my order. I have repeatedly asked for a refund, and I have been hung up on, put on hold for extended periods and the "manager" talks over you. To even speak with a live person, you must make multiple calls with the hope you will be connected. Then you will be told that delivery was "attempted", and the address is invalid, so no refund. What Avas flowers didn't expect was I had the emails and texts to prove the delivery was not attempted as I paid for expedited service and the emails showed delivery was not attempted until the day AFTER. Then Avas Flowers wants to reroute your delivery. These flowers were to be delivered to a business associate, not a personal friend.

    When Avas Flowers cannot provide the product and service you have paid for it becomes- your fault, your problem and your loss. What was especially telling is when the customer survey was upcoming at the end of the conversation with the manager, I was abruptly disconnected. DO NOT order Avas flowers. Look for a reputable local florist instead.

    Absolutely fraudulent advertising. I ordered a Xmas CENTERPIECE, the order was paid, confirmed with the delivery date approved. The next day I received an "URGENT" email from them and contacted them immediately. I was told that a "Centerpiece" arrangement could not be delivered, but they would "substitute" with a BOUQUET! On top of that, they stated they could not deliver until Xmas Eve, when the original date of delivery was 12/21. Pathetic! I could have gone to a local florist and gotten exactly what I wanted.     I wish I could give zero stars. Avas Flowers has been a complete disappointment—twice! My mother ordered a Money Tree for me, and both times they sent the wrong, unattractive, low-quality plant that looked nothing like what was advertised. The first time, they refused to provide a full refund and only gave her a partial refund. Despite this, my mother gave them another chance, trusting their word that the issue wouldn’t happen again.

    The second order was just as bad. After being guaranteed by a representative that I would receive the correct item, they sent another wrong and inferior product. When I called to resolve the issue, the representative falsely claimed my mother approved a replacement (which she absolutely did not) and smugly refused to offer a refund. This company lacks integrity, engages in false advertising, and provides terrible customer service. Avoid Avas Flowers at all costs—they do not deliver what they promise, and they do not take accountability for their mistakes. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I reached out to request a refund because the promised re-delivery, offered due to the poor quality of my initial order, never happened. I spoke with Ivy, a representative who was incredibly compassionate and kind—one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. Although she offered to arrange another re-delivery, I declined since I had already waited 11 days without receiving it.

When I say Walmart could have provided a better selection, I truly mean it; I sincerely wish I had gone there instead. My total came to $135, and I had also requested balloons and a card, neither of which were delivered. It appears that Avas Flowers operates nationwide with various designers, but my experience with the Monroeville location was so disappointing that I will never purchase from them again or recommend them to anyone.

    Unfortunately, it appears this is a recurring issue. I regret not reading the reviews before placing my order. This experience truly feels like a scam. Here's the catch: to receive a full refund, they need to pick up the flowers within seven days. If they can't, you only get a store credit. How absurd! They can keep their store credit, as I can't imagine ever ordering from them again. I have attached photos for reference. Keep your money and order from another place!

    I had a terrible experience with this retailer and will never do business with them again. I ordered funeral flowers to be delivered to the church during the service time on Sunday between 7 AM and 10 AM. However, the flowers were delivered a day early, which caused confusion since the church had two funeral services that day. When I contacted the seller to find out what happened to the flowers, they admitted it was their fault but only offered a $10 refund. To make matters worse, they refused to let me speak to a supervisor. The customer service was appalling—completely unhelpful and dismissive.     I will never use this fraudulent company again, I think it’s a fake company. The recording is fake, customer service is never obtainable. I should have known when I received 6 texts at once and the same service is a joke, UPS OR USPS same-day service. It wasn’t until I paid that I received notice that UPS delivered. Legal action need to be taken against this company and the BBB. I spent $93 for an arrangement for my wonderful 89-year-old Aunt. My Aunt never received her flowers.

    The substitutions were not in line with the substitution guidelines from the first nor second choice and I have wasted a huge amount of time navigating the impossible phone menus, messages with inaccurate phone numbers, and of course, a ridiculously inappropriate gift since an Xmas tree shaped selection was converted into a dozen red roses shipped late.     I ordered a beautiful arrangement I found online on Avas' website for same day delivery; I ordered it through an agent as I had questions and spent $79.99 plus fees for a total of $110. I received a message that there was an issue with flower availability, after trying unsuccessfully to resolve online, I attempted to resolve over the phone and discovered that the only way to speak to a human was to select “place an order” on the IVR. Finally I was connected to a human who told me that they would need to replace flowers but that the arrangement would be equivalent to the original. “For my trouble” they refunded me $8. After 4 days, the pitiful arrangement was delivered and when I went to the site to complain, the price reflected said $44.99 for the arrangement so I ended up being charged $110 for a $44.99 arrangement. Of course I cannot reach anyone. Do not purchase from this company!

They sent pictures supposedly proving delivery - but not to my friend's hospital room, plus pathetic arrangement compared to online photo, worth half the $90 charged.

    Nurses say no delivery anywhere on the floor. I have been on the phone and computer all day with their terrible customer service. It's maddening. They promised a refund, then denied it, saying they "have to call the hospital to confirm the flowers were not delivered." Ridiculous. Cruel. They said a manager would call me, then just another customer service person would call and say "the flowers were delivered, we have proof." They keep putting you on hold hoping you'll give up. These people should be shut down. No receipt was emailed to me. Here's their "customer service" message. It took 5 hours, finally got refund approved. We'll see if it happens.

    I had a deeply disappointing experience with Avas Flowers that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order for flowers on Saturday morning for a funeral service scheduled on Monday. I even paid extra to rush the order to ensure there would be no issues. Unfortunately, the service I received was far from acceptable. On Saturday afternoon, I received a text and email instructing me to call regarding my order. The phone number provided was incorrect, and after finding the correct number, I had to call again, only to be placed on a waiting list for a callback. When I finally spoke with a representative, they repeatedly asked for an alternative delivery address. I explained multiple times that this was an out-of-state funeral, and the church address I provided was the only address available, as the visitation and service were being held there.

    To make matters worse, they kept asking to speak with the recipient, and I had to repeatedly explain that this was impossible since the recipient had passed away. I even offered them the option to cancel the order if they couldn’t fulfill it, but I was reassured that they would reach out to their team and ensure delivery. Despite their assurances, I never received a callback.

    On Monday afternoon, after hearing nothing, I followed up only to receive another text and email directing me to call the same incorrect number. When I finally got through again, they informed me they were still trying to find an alternate address—after the funeral had already ended. For all this inconvenience, they offered me a $20 refund on an order that cost over $100. The lack of communication, care, and basic customer service was appalling. I would never recommend Avas Flowers to anyone. This experience was not only frustrating but incredibly insensitive during such a difficult time.

    The website says free delivery to addresses in Denton Tx. The flowers I ordered are to be sent to an address in Denton, Tx. But they charged me a.$9.99 delivery fee. I've tried several times to go through the chat page on the website to ask about the fee, but I have not received a response back explaining why I'm am being charged. You were quick enough to charge my credit card, but trying to get an answer to a question seems not at all important to you. Looks like I'll have to find a different florist next time.

    I ordered flowers for a dear friend of mine. Never will use this business again. The flowers were definitely in season and the arrangement was fall oriented. I was contacted after my order was placed. I receive a text informing me that arrangement was not available, and they would replace with roses!!! Not even close to what I wanted. I called and spoke with customer service, and he talked over me the entire phone conversation. In the end, they sent her Sunflowers that looked like something I could have purchased a Trader Joe's which by the way has fabulous flowers! They stuck them with a vase and shipped them to her. My heart was broken, she sent me a picture of what she received, and it was lame. No filler in the bouquet Just cut Sunflowers!! For the amount I paid and not to receive anything close is robbery. My friend deserved what I had in mind for her and Ava's Flowers did not come close!!! Shame on you all...

    I placed my order on the morning of 12/3. I choose Avas because it claimed to deliver same day. I paid $112.60 as shown below for the Everlasting Soothing Lavender bouquet in a violet glass square vase along with a personalized greeting card and two balloons. On 12/3 I received a text stating her floral arrangement was delivered but my family checked and they were not delivered.

    My mom got her bday gift on 12/4 even though I was told it would arrive on 12/3. However, on 12/4 a small arrangement arrived in a clear standard vase filled with mostly greens barely 3 flowers in violet tones. The invoice stated they may need to use alternate flowers and vases but this is subpar and not at all what I ordered. No card but a sticky note that said HyVee at the bottom which is mom's local grocer and not Avas Floral. The card had a chicken scratch handwritten note that included "Happy belated birthday" which I did not write but they inserted due to delivering it a day late.

    I purchased 1 Mylar balloon and 1 latex balloon but she received 1 Mylar balloon only. I've tried calling customer "support" and it's robotic with no human to actually remedy this order issue. My order #12436597 should not only be refunded to me but I would also appreciate an explanation as to why this happened to my mom who just lost her son recently and needed some joy on her bday 12/3.

    -1 star rating. It happened twice. 1st time, not on time and had to call. That was a Christmas "surprise". I decided to give some grace because it was a busy holiday. 2nd time was recently...this Thanksgiving. Here it is, December4, and no delivery! Also, as many consumers on here say, the process to go through and contact someone is nearly impossible. And "they" said it was delivered, but the recipient was/is home most of the time. NOT DELIVERED! I tried to cancel recently, and the "bots" said "we have contacted the delivery service...". It's been 6 contact attempts to AVAs in nearly a week...so they are lying! And, there is no way to get a human on the device called a telephone! I'm having to dispute the charges through my bank, because this CRIMINAL company won't even take responsibility for their actions (or should I say inactions) and allow their customers to cancel.     Ordered flowers for a celebration of life. They were supposed to deliver Saturday so we had them on Sunday. They called me 4 times a day on Saturday and Sunday! The first call Sunday morning I asked them to cancel because they weren't going to be there on time. They said they could deliver Monday which is ridiculous because we didn't need them then.     By far the most frustrating and complicated customer service I have ever experienced. I placed an order this morning for same day delivery. Five minutes later I got an email stating that they couldn't deliver that day but would do it the next. I needed same day so I immediately initiated a cancellation. Then followed five hours of texts, emails that have the WRONG number listed to call customer service, and missed calls from them because there wasn't ID on the calls so my phone said it was spam and I didn't answer. Then the customer service rep left a message and left a phone number for me to call back. Another WRONG number.

    All of the messages left different instructions on how to cancel, with the last one saying they would text me a URL to follow. Never got that. The customer service numbers I called had a message that they have changed their number and then when I called that new number they hung up on me repeatedly because it said I had to do it online. But I was trying to return the customer service person's call! I will never EVER use this service again. It would have been a better use of my time to just go to a local florist, buy flowers, and drive the 30 mins south to deliver the friggin things myself.

    They delivered a dead plant for my mother's funeral. When I tried to call customer service they will not answer the call and needed an order number. I didn't place the order so I do not have an order number. I finally got ahold of Carmela and she was like - "Oh a dead flower to a funeral, ha ha ha...." When I asked for a manager - they couldn't get me one but will have someone call me back in the next several days. Oh and they aren't located in the USA. Don't waste your money.

    What a disappointment! I am in Canada and tried to send my friend some flowers for her birthday in the States. I should have read the reviews. :( Ordered the flowers in the morning yesterday and got a message that said everything was ok. At around five pm (too late to order flowers and have them delivered anywhere else) I got a message saying they couldn't fulfil the order on the requested day "due to the current availability of the arrangement"? What!? And when I called the message gives another phone number to call and then you get the exact same message?! What a scam.

    I spent my whole afternoon trying to sort things out but nothing. The page where you're supposed to get support gives you nothing. It's the next day and I don't know if the flowers are going? Which flowers are going. If my card message was changed ('cause that was an issue too) or if I have successfully cancelled my order!!??AAA If this message is confusing it's 'cause I'm really frustrated.     Worst customer service! Called the number and it just kept me in a "loop". Finally called the number to place a sales order. Once I finally reached a person, I was placed on hold for almost 15 minutes and then was disconnected. Someone did call me back but wasn't very helpful. My order was supposed to be delivered last week after some confusion with the order and speaking to someone. It was never delivered. I was told it was placed on "hold" but nobody contacted us. The customer service person never offered any kind of discount and still couldn't have it delivered until the next day. At this point I lost all faith in the company and cancelled the order. Even though the order had been put on a hold without any contact, they didn't issue a refund until I finally got ahold of someone. This review should be a 0, they don't deserve a 1 but there is no option for 0.

    Do not buy from Avas. I ordered a gourmet basket that was supposed to include cheese and basket instead one 4oz cheese was sent with 1 box of crackers and fruit. When I called several times to find out why I was given the run-around. I talked to different mgrs who gave different answers, none of which made sense.     I would NEVER recommend using this flower company EVER!!! The sales people were short and rude on the phone. They falsely advertise same-day delivery, which did not happen and they said they were short on flowers and the best they could do was a 4 day delivery. They called me the next day and said what I ordered and paid for was not available and that they would substitute a comparable arrangement but could not tell me what flowers they would put in it. When I said, I wanted to cancel my order, they kept offering me other options which I did not want. The only good thing about this company is they did finally cancel my order and I think they honored my refund.

    This company is a scam. They claim they can change based on availability of their flower arrangements but WITHIN the same type and following the arrangement chosen.     Ordering flowers for Thanksgiving was a nightmare….And no, we’d NEVER use this company again. We ordered a table arrangement one week before Thanksgiving that was scheduled to be delivered Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. Late Wednesday afternoon we received an email saying that the arrangement wouldn’t be delivered until Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. After spending 1/2 hour on a badly designed and frustrating phone tree, we finally got to talk to someone (AI?). It was almost impossible to get this person to understand we wanted a reimbursement, not flowers. Avas Flowers is clearly run by someone with no aptitude for business nor any business instincts. The best thing the CEO should to do is resign and find a more suitable career.

    I ordered a large plant for a funeral several days before the funeral, requesting it be delivered the day before the funeral. After the delivery time I requested I get an urgent text saying couldn’t deliver to call this number. I call the number texted by Ava’s Flowers only to get a message that number has changed & call a different number. After multiple attempts finally got ahold of a real person. Who said they couldn’t deliver it but would deliver it the next day at 8:00 AM before a 9:00 funeral. Then an hour later I received a text the plant was delivered. I went to their website & it showed my order was delivered. This was for a family member. So I looked for my plant, but nothing from me arrived for the funeral. I checked every plant/flower arrangement. Nothing.

    Then trying to contact the company again I got on a loop that kept asking me my phone & order number over & over. I wasn’t able to contact anyone. Then after multiple attempts finally got ahold of someone & hopefully got the charges reversed. I haven’t had the opportunity to check yet. But I picked a specific plant that would mean something to my family member & her family & nothing showed up. You don’t get to re-do this event. I wanted my loved ones to have a good representation of flowers & love. But nothing. The customer service is pathetic. Absolutely horrible experience.

    I can't give 0 stars. Called in an order for same-day delivery. Got two emails and a text message to confirm. Then got several emails about an "urgent message" regarding the order. It can't be delivered for two days, don't respond if that's ok. I didn't respond. Got three more emails and several text messages about another "urgent message." The website was completely unhelpful - they sent a link for the message, but no way to make any changes beyond ordering one of their "similar recommendations" to be delivered earlier, which I didn't believe. Wound up having to call. The first "customer service" person hung up on me.

    The second one sounded like they were using a tin can and string to talk (showing my age). I definitely heard wind, other people, and a rooster in the background. The rep barely let me speak until I told her to stop talking. Then I used very short, curt sentences (e.g., "I want to cancel the order"). She begins to tell me about all of the "options." After several minutes of back and forth, me saying "Can you cancel this order, yes or no" and long explanations of "options," they finally agreed to cancel the order. Cue more emails and text messages. Complete disaster of an experience.

    I ordered flowers for my sister today for delivery today. I'm in another state. During checkout, they charged a $25 'service fee' which I thought was strange since it was out of the blue. Then they kept sending me texts saying to complete my order which was already completed. Then they sent me a text with a $20 off coupon saying it was applicable to this order which didn't make sense plus there was no way to apply the promo. Then when I tried to chat with their customer service, they asked for my order number then listed 4 greeting cards as my order instead of the flowers and the 1 greeting card I ordered.

    When I inquired about that, they said they would apply my feedback about the chatbot but said nothing about my order or a delivery time. Then when I called their customer service number I was stuck in a loop that told me to press 1 and anytime I did, it would say "it looks like...If you have questions about your order press 1." This happened 4 times!!!! So I googled reviews and found this. All I want is the flowers I paid for and for my sister to receive a token of my appreciation for her!!!! Who would have thought that a flower company could possibly defraud you???

    Avas Flowers is a SCAM. I placed an order for birthday flowers and spent $200. I was guaranteed the flowers would be delivered yesterday and they weren't. I called today and kept getting the run-around. I was transferred to "the manager" who had the same exact voice, demeanor, and pauses, of the "customer service rep". They wouldn't allow me to cancel the order. They wouldn't tell me when the order would be delivered. The information was different from the customer service rep than what the manager was telling me. I called 3 different phone numbers and the customer service line doesn't work - it reroutes you to the same message repeatedly and you are never allowed to speak with anyone. If you value your time, money, and actually want the flowers delivered - DO NOT order from this company - total SCAM!

    They are not a local florist, even though the ads portray themselves that way. The customer service phone number is a joke that just automates you back to the online system. The online system does not allow you to talk to anyone directly. After submitting an online request with an issue to my order, they did call me. They "called me" twice and when I answered, I heard nothing in response to me saying hello, and then they hung up. They called back immediately and hung up after 2 rings, before I could answer, so it showed as a missed call. I have emailed them requesting proof of delivery and all they do is say it was marked as delivered according to the local florist. There is no picture or anything to confirm they actually made an arrangement of any kind, let alone deliver it. For all I know, they just took my money and did nothing.

    There is also a $30 service fee added on to all orders, so know that whatever price you think you are paying, it will be at least $30 more expensive. The person who was supposed to receive the flowers was home all day. They checked in the front and back of their house, and nothing ever came. The recipient checked again the day after supposed delivery and still nothing. No one has given me pictures as requested via email, and I have asked for a refund, but have not received a response. While I do not know if this is a scam or not, I can say I've had a terrible experience and will never use them again. HIGHLY recommend AVOIDING this company. Just call a local florist directly.

    DO NOT USE, you will have a bad experience. I never received my order on the delivery date. I contacted Avas, they said it was delivered. I told them it was not. They investigated and replied back to me that the delivery person was not able to deliver. We rescheduled for the next day, no delivery again, I contacted Avas again. They contacted the recipient to verify if they received any flowers and they told them no. (Okay, no more surprise, they ruined the whole experience.) So, I filled out a cancel my order on their website. A short time later they called. They asked if they could schedule a delivery for the next day. I told them, "All I want is my money back and who in their right mind calls the recipient," then they HUNG UP on me and here I am. PLEASE, take it from me. DO NOT USE.

    I placed an order with Avas Flowers early yesterday morning, 11/20/24, my daughter-in-law's birthday, It was to be delivered to her place of work before 12:30pm because she would not be there after that time. I gave them my daughter-in-law's home address and said that if they could not get the flowers delivered to her place of work before that specified time to not leave them there but deliver them to her home address and leave them on the front porch if she was not home. The lady said they could do that. Several hours after the specified time given to be delivered I called AVAS to see if they had been delivered, they could not tell me the status of the order but that customer service would call me back (which they did NOT do!!)

    Much later in the day I finally found out they went ahead and delivered the flowers to her work HOURS AFTER the specified time (and of course she wasn't there and neither did they bother to deliver them to her home!!!!). Her place of work called my son and he picked them up on his way home so my daughter-in-law could have them on her special day! Needless to say I will NEVER do business with AVAS again!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service!!!!

    This store presented itself as local to my parents but definitely was not. They immediately tried to pull a bait and switch - within 2 hours, they sent me an email to check the website and pick from a few other options that were absolutely nothing like what I had ordered and nowhere near the dollar value (and even the pictures were sad). I indicated I did not want any of those, and later someone tried to call me; I missed this call but called them back within a half hour. By then I'd read some of the online reviews and knew it wasn't going to get any better. (I then ordered immediately from 1800 Flowers - my parents live in the boonies of New England. No local florist would deliver to them, hence my initial search.)

    They clearly have a script they go off of, the customer service agent dragged it out as long as possible, repeatedly putting me on hold. I said from the start that I had already indicated that I wanted a refund and cancellation on the web form, but she tried to push looking at another group of options. I told her no, I have already ordered elsewhere; she put me on hold. Came back, tried to convince me I would have another occasion to order flowers for in the future, I said no thank you, please refund me. Put me on hold again. Having seen photos of the substitutions people received and the sorry condition they were in, I feel like I dodged a bullet.

    The images of flower arrangements on their web site are of medium to large size, but the price below the picture is for a small bouquet. Deceiving! We were not aware of the additional $30 above the price, which included delivery, until we had pushed the “go” button. We were shocked to see a $90+ charge on our credit card after we were presented with a total of about $60. These people do what is called “order gathering”, when you order from Avas and they turn around and call some floral shop where you want the flowers and charge you an additional 30%. They do not have a floral shop! It’s all done on the phone. Called a SCAM. Don’t do business with them!

    The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with flowers. Ordered flowers to be delivered for my girlfriend’s birthday the following day. The lady on the phone when I placed my order was foreign and couldn’t get my order, card or billing address correct after telling her 3-4 times. Finally, she processed it but the card message was still not 100% and my billing address was wrong but my card processed.

    Next day... I get a call/text from them at 10:30 saying they couldn’t find the address to her work. It’s a large business RIGHT in the middle of town! I text them back the address to it…AGAIN. Then I call them, get a different foreign lady and confirm the address with HER a second time! She reads it back and says, "Ok, it’ll be there shortly!" 1:30 rolls around….no word. I text them again to see if it’s been delivered because my girlfriend leaves work at 3. I get a random text from some guy named Angelo saying they have my order ID and my money will be refunded in 3-5 days and boom….that was it.

    So I called them AGAIN…got a foreign guy this time. He said, "Yes they refunded it, we are sorry and have a great day." Wouldn’t give me a reason or anything. I had to scramble and make something work, then drive flowers 45 minutes to her work that I picked up locally and barely made it in time. Had to leave my work in the middle of the day to do it. This place is a scam, a joke and I don’t know how they are still in business. I mean just look at these reviews. Terrible. I’ll never forget how lame and bad this company was.

    I am writing this review as a warning to others: DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS. My aunt passed away last week, and I thought it would be a kind gesture to order flowers from Avas Flowers for her funeral. What a horrific mistake. The initial order was placed on the day before the furneral grave service, but the flowers didn't arrive until 5 days AFTER the funeral. Not only did we not receive the flowers on time, but when they finally arrived, they were nothing special. The arrangement looked like something I could have bought at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. And to make matters worse, the cheap glass vase that came with it was an embarrassment.

    I'm still fuming about this experience. Not only did Avas Flowers fail to deliver on their promise of timely and quality flowers, but they also left our family feeling embarrassed and disappointed during a time when we should have been able to focus on mourning and celebrating my aunt's life. To add insult to injury, when I tried to get a full refund, the customer service team was unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate my request. They offered a paltry partial refund, which only added to my frustration. This was only offered to me after I declined a 25% off coupon on my next order. In hindsight, I wish we had never ordered from Avas Flowers. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. UPDATE: Despite reaching out multiple times, the customer service team at Avas Flowers failed to resolve this issue satisfactorily. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or their experiences.

    Absolute nightmare dealing with this company. I placed an order and subsequently received several emails and texts saying my order needed attention. They could not deliver on the date needed and kept trying to offer me alternatives. They even called the funeral home and confused those folks as well. I asked to cancel and then must have gotten a dozen "alternative solutions". I asked each time to cancel the order but they persisted with deals after deals. SO FRUSTRATING. After about 40 minutes on the phone with the final rep, they will cancel and refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Read the other ratings and save yourself grief.

    The absolute worst customer service experience and scam. I asked to cancel my order when they contacted me that they were unable to fulfill my order, then the agent proceeded to argue with me and try to bully me into "selecting another option". He was clearly following a call script i.e. if they want to cancel, say this; if they still want to cancel, say this. This went on for THIRTY minutes. The most offensive customer service experience I've ever had. Please do not give these people business. I found out later that my husband had used them to send roses to his mom; they in fact delivered 6 sad looking daisies for $100+. Then wouldn't refund him or make any concessions.

    I wish I could give less stars than 1 since I called for a sympathy arrangement to be delivered on Oct 26, 2024 (same day), asked for a suggestion, since the orig item that I was interested in is toxic for pets, I was suggested to order a Money Tree which was never delivered on the 26th or 27th. I received a notice on the 28th (when everyone is back at work) saying that the item is not available, and to cancel the order I need to call them again (this is after spending about 2 hours on the phone with the order taker who misspelled the recipients first and last name as well as my name - yes, I used the charlie/bravo method - and I agreed to paying the $15 "care charge" (do they usually send uncared for arrangements?).     How is this company still in business? I ordered an arrangement for our company for a member's funeral service, and it was a complete disaster. Avas isn't even a florist—they're just a broker that passes your order on to local mom-and-pop shops. Because of this, the quality was terrible. The delivery was a day late, and the company they subcontracted to, Glad Floral, changed the invoice from a large order to a small one, claiming that’s what Avas sent them. The invoice I received from Avas didn’t match what Glad Floral provided.

    Instead of the large White Sympathy Spray I ordered, we got a small arrangement with only five roses and wilted carnations. When I called Avas to complain, I could only reach one person, presumably Ava, and there was no one else to speak with. We were extremely upset, to say the least. We are now investigating the possibility of a class action lawsuit to put this company out of business. We've filed complaints with ConsumerAffairs, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau to stop this company’s unscrupulous practices.

    On October 21 I ordered a $53 dollar boutique for my daughter's birthday on the 23 (that's the first picture) notice it says "same day eligible". The 22 they told me it was unavailable and gave me a few options. Her favorite color is purple so I picked the orchid (second picture). The third picture is the pinkish orchid she got that is definitely not worth $53 let alone the actual $99 I spent with delivery etc. I didn't use 1-800-flowers or some other big brand because I thought this would be better. Called a Friday to place order and asked for delivery NLT 2pm in a Saturday afternoon, the lady was very helpful.....that was the only positive thing to mention. I received a confirmation at 6:40pm of the Saturday saying was delivered (late)....Delivery not made. I called Sunday morning to know why the inaccurate information and why receiving a delivery conf when not true. I was told had to wait at least 24hrs to get a call back w/ status.     Do not order from this company! I placed an order for our 53rd anniversary, to be delivered the next day. When I received the invoice it included a delivery charge and a $24 'service fee'. The order was confirmed. On the day that delivery was due I got a message stating the item wasn't available. I got another message asking me to choose an alternate delivery date. I called to find out what was going on and was transferred 3 times before speaking to someone to help me.     I wish I would have read reviews before ordering. I live in a different state and I wanted to surprise my niece with a nice flower arrangement. Ordered one day before early, and to have them delivered the next day. They call me until 2:30pm to confirm the address, first of all, and then proceeded to mention that the flowers wouldn't arrive until tomorrow, not sure what time but they would rush it. They added a $25 service charge on the order, and it specifically stated same day delivery. It's ridiculous, they supposedly deliver until 7pm and I think it's so unprofessional of them to do this. The flowers should have been ordered or I should have been told sooner that they wouldn't make it. Then they want to call my niece to apologize that the delivery is being delayed, like for what? Completely defeats the purpose of 1 surprising her for her birthday and 2 that it should be on the actual day of her birthday.

    Very, VERY upsetting. I wish I had read how poorly they were reviewed before I tried to use them, but I was ordering flowers for a funeral and was just sad and not as on top of it as I should have been. I put in an order for a basic standing spray to be delivered to a funeral out of town in Lexington, KY. Funeral home is taking all deliveries, it's on Main Street, easy to work with and find. Put the order in Thursday morning for Friday afternoon delivery since the service was early on Saturday morning. Get notices saying it is all confirmed.

    Thursday afternoon get inundated with texts and emails to call. I do so, am transferred and on hold for about an hour before it becomes clear they just want a back up delivery address and to confirm when I need it. Like a personal home address. I explain multiple times this is for a funeral, out of town. I don't live there, the family doesn't even live there. The funeral home is taking care of it all and I am fine if the flowers are delivered Friday afternoon or EARLY Saturday morning in time for the service. OK, finally that is resolved.

    Friday morning wake up to the same thing, tons of automated texts and emails asking to call. Do the whole thing again. On hold for a cumulative 90 minutes, transfers, more holding, transfers. Finally talk to someone who says they need a secondary address. At this point, I am frustrated. I explain AGAIN, the funeral home is taking care of everything. THEN they say they need to send an entirely different arrangement in a vase that needs to be florist's choice because they cannot find anyone who has the capability to fulfill the order. WHAT???? We are talking roses, carnations, some greenery for the standing spray. I say they can be different colors if need be. No, has to be a vase, and florist's choice, meaning I have absolutely no idea what they will send.

    I want something that can be by the gravesite, not a vase. I want to know what I am getting, not some random collection of leftovers the florist throws together. I wind up cancelling everything and it was too late at that point to get anything else delivered in time. I just wanted something to mark my respect for a woman who was lovely to me when I was young and scared in the world. Instead I had one of THE MOST FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE.

    I called Avas early morning to make a same-day delivery to Greenwood Indiana. First, they hooked me, told me they had my wife's fav flower... tulips. They called me back later saying "Oops, no tulips... out of season".
    - Phone call drops they didn't call back.
    - I called back, put on hold to reorder.
    - They said they'd text when flowers are delivered but I called them at 4:45 pm because I hadn't received confirmation (one hold 20 min).
    - Call drops.
    - Called back to cancel because my wife had left the building... GONE!

    I ordered these flowers for my lovely wife (she loved them). I'm sure it was the thought that counted. I on the other hand think it's the worst bundle of flowers I've ever bought her. The ribbon was supposed to be purple which is her favorite color. As you can see it was white! To make this bundle look good it needed to be at least 6 inches shorter - I asked for the rose to be in the middle and surrounded by the carnations but because the stems are so long everything is spread all over. This fiasco cost me $93.00. I can find better at the grocery store! Nice try but NO not good at all!!! I'll shop somewhere else. One other thing carnations are super cheap and one rose.

Please call me so I can tell you about my horrendous experience with Ava’s flowers. I suppose I could just share on a Google review! The recipient did not receive the flowers until I was a detective to find out they weren’t delivered. Through happenstance, I found out they were attempted to be delivered. So thankfully I clicked the right box since I could get no one on the phone.

    They were then delivered but with no note letting my sister-in-law know they were from me. She had to post a picture on Facebook asking who sent to find out. Of course, I had filled out the box for the message with my name. Then I try to contact you by phone to let you know and after lots of phone prompts by a robot, I was led to a voicemail greeting that says due to high volume of calls for the holiday they would not be able to take my call. I did not authorize and have now called twice. Both call mysteriously dropped mid-call. I am unable to cancel the order because it was a same day order, but I am pushing back on the service charge as I did not consent to it nor do I know what it is for. Also, it appears the taxes are based off of the all the charges and not just the flowers. Totally regret using them.

    Flowers were ordered for the same day delivery, 7 October. A tracking number label, from UPS # **, was created only. There is still nothing turned over to UPS. Avas did not have the bouquet I ordered and offered a substitute. I agreed and it was supposed to be replaced the next day. There was still no flower delivery on 8 October. I have made multiple calls to get this corrected. I have spoken to individuals overseas with all the information I had. They could not see a tracking number and did not know who the carrier would be. I told them who it was and that there was a label created by UPS. I gave them the number and posted my issue in their online chat. I have inquired many times online with the "Where's My Stuff" button on their web page.

    My friend who lost her husband still did not receive her flowers. She is in a walker going back and forth to the door and she can barely walk. I asked if the flower delivery person could make sure to wait at the door for her. That was the 9th, and they volunteered to take $20 off the price of the order. I called them again yesterday, the 10th, and they kept telling me the same information. "I'm sorry. I can relay a message and until we have a tracking number there's not much I can do." I gave them the tracking number they originally gave me, again.

    Today is the 11th. I received an E-mail stating they now have a tracking number. It still says a label was created. Their policy is to NOT reimburse "same day" orders, and I have 24 hours to cancel. They have taken my money, promised absolutely nothing, and there are still no flowers today. I can't cancel and they can take their time fulfilling their orders. This is bad business. If my friend never gets her order, then they are criminals. This is the second time I have received bad service from them. NEVER again Avas. There is an Avas dot com and an Avas dot net. Do not be fooled.

Called Avas' customer service, and they said the flowers could be delivered the next day (3 days after initially promised).     The site advertised same day delivery in my zip code area. I paid an upcharge for rush delivery to be certain that my order would be delivered on time. I received a phone call that there was a problem with my order. They can't deliver it in the same day (mind you, I established the order at 0800 local time for the order to be delivered by end of day). Tried calling customer service. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes the line disconnected. Then, I was on with a customer service rep who argued with me about other "deals" or "discounts" and an apology to my intended gift recipient. I repeatedly told this person I was not interested because I was paying for their advertised same day service and they were not delivering that. She continued to argue with me until ultimately she put me back on hold for 15 minutes to cancel the order. What a headache!

    This is a terrible company. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research. I thought I was buying flowers from a local florist for delivery. I set up delivery online for a same day delivery to the hospital my friend was in. They were never delivered. I called Avas Flowers and finally after a lengthy process I was able to speak with someone. I tried to get the order canceled and a refund but to no avail. They would not do anything but set up another delivery the next day. The rep I was talking to took $10 off the price and promised a delivery the next day before 3:00 pm. Then there were constant emails going back and forth. Before 3:00 I received another email. They needed an alternative address. I called again and told the rep, my friend is in the hospital and so there is no alternative address and I live 8 hours away. So another promise to have delivered before 3:00.

    Shortly after another email asking me to call. I spoke with the rep, she said unfortunately the flowers won't be delivered till tomorrow. I flipped out, I told her I don't even know if my friend will be alive tomorrow. She assured me they would be delivered the next day and would give me another discount. I said absolutely not. She tried putting me off but I reiterated again, my friend might not make it till then and I wanted her to see flowers just in case.     I ordered flowers for a friend in the hospital and received a notification that evening. My friend states she never received the flowers. Avas was adamant they were delivered. I called the hospital, admissions was very kind and per the security cameras no flowers were delivered. Three days later Avas finally admitted they were not delivered and promised to send them. Two days later, NO FLOWERS! I had to call a local company near the hospital and beautiful flowers were delivered within three hours! I was very disappointed my friend wasn't able to enjoy her flowers while in the hospital. My friend, her family, the nurses on her floor and admissions are well aware that Avas Flowers is not reliable and will not be using them to order flowers.

    I couldn’t get a delivery done that I only ordered if they could be delivered by a certain time! I was guaranteed this was not a problem. I never received an order confirmation this morning, I kept receiving text messages that my order wasn’t complete, and now I received a message stating they were delivered which they weren’t. So due to receiving that confirmation that they were delivered I was forced to ask my wife and ruin the surprise. This is after I was told the delivery would have to be changed to Monday. They weren’t delivered! We even went through video to verify it. It’s a daycare and it’s a locked facility so it’s impossible for anything to come through the doors w out her knowing as she was there open to close and she’s the GM!

    So now I’ve spent hours of my valuable time on the phone and researching this “so-called” delivery and the point of the order is ruined! I will dispute the charge as services were not only not provided the surprise and purpose behind the order has been completely ruined and you can’t put a price tag on that! Not to mention I Google searched local flower companies in Gulf Breeze, FL and their search claims to be a local flower company. When I saw there was a service fee that was almost as much as the flowers themselves I called and was then told they weren’t local, but they outsource to the area.

    Due to bad experiences in the past with these type of companies I asked to cancel the order only to be talked into keeping the order and guaranteed delivery by 4pm and there wouldn’t be any issues! Terrible experience. Oh and when I was told on the phone after the fact that they couldn’t have them delivered and they would have to be rescheduled for Monday I was offered nothing at all in return for the error. I had to ask if I would be provided a discount or upgrade due to the inconvenience only to be told no and given a 15% off coupon for a future order! lol What a joke! Why would anyone ever order from a company again after this bad of an experience?

    Shame on me for not reading any reviews before ordering. BIG warning to anyone wanting to order anything...READ REVIEWS of customers and don't pay attention to any of their responses to them because they DO NOT CARE! They would rather refund than actually deliver as promised. Here's my story: Mom's 86th birthday. I live on the West Coast, she, in Michigan. 1800flowers.com couldn't deliver same day so did a quick search for "local" florist (to her) and AVAS FLOWERS comes up. They can deliver same day for an extra $9.99, PERFECT! I ordered a money tree plant, 4 balloons, and a card at or around 7am PST.

    At or around 10 PST I get an email stating the order had an issue and to call them. They proceed to tell me they can't deliver the plant same day but an arrangement of flowers, oh and no balloons either. After going round in circles I agree to it, just to get my mother something ON HER BIRTHDAY! He says he will refund balloon money and give me 25% off the order...Reluctantly I said, "Ok let's do that." Here today I get another email that I wasn't able to read until I got off work 5 hrs. after it was sent. AGAIN PROBLEM; not only nothing was delivered 2 Oct. NOTHING was delivered 3 Oct. Customer service was really no help. They had to connect me to a supervisor and when she said, "Stay on the line and wait for the supervisor" the call immediately disconnected.

    Called back. Same lady says "supervisor is trying to call you now" and said goodbye and hung up. NOPE. No such call(s) happened. I get a text stating "order cancelled and full refund" (in 5-7 business days). It's a damn shame that they cannot conduct business properly or even talk to you to apologize which still means nothing but would have been less salty had they done so. They are really just a buyer beware company. Shady business practices and now I have to still get mom something as she must think her child of 58 years is a jerk for missing her birthday. NO THANK YOU Avas Flowers! If I could give zero stars I would!!

    Worst experience I've had with flowers. Do not use. Too many headaches along with this company. Fly by night at best. Ruined my 15th wedding anniversary. Thanks, Avas. Placed my order 4 days in advance to delivery. Was sent a text at 4:00 day of delivery wanting an alternate delivery address. Called customer service. Was cut off three times and once I finally got to talk to someone I could hear roosters crowing in the background, really? My suggestion is that If you want a migraine headache, call these people for flowers.

    BEWARE!! Total scam. I spent 4 days trying to get an order delivered. MIL's 97th birthday, placed order 1 week ahead/$100 arrangement.     I ordered a beautiful arrangement for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for 1st anniversary. First, they said they didn't have those flowers, so the only acceptable substitute was an orchid. I was disappointed, but didn't have time to cancel the order as I was out that day. Then, it is delivered with petals falling off, as I assume it was not transported and delivered with care. It was pretty embarrassing when I received a photo from my sister-in-law, and she hoped it would be a rally...

FTD is a legitimate business, nothing wrong with being nationwide. But when you are a fake, you reveal the rest of your organization to be a fake as well.     I ordered a lovely arrangement, the largest fullest version. What showed up for our friend was the smallest, a downgrade on the smallest they display. It didn't conform to their substitution policy in any way. It was a joke compared to the over $100 I spent. I tried every way to contact customer, for days. I emailed and kept getting messages. They'd email me back but I received 0 emails back, only texts on 9/3, 9/6, 9/11 to check my email or check the junk folder - no email. I was sure it was delivered because of the text from Avas, but the photo from our friend holding the bouquet told the story of the service Avas provides.

    So I paid over $100 (includes delivery/charges) for the the best and got the less than the lowest cost choice. They don't have the decency to respond at all - why should this company stay in business? Why is anyone using a company that cares nothing about the customer? Please use anyone else, but not Avas. You'll be disappointed and frustrated at the very least. BTW, this was my 3rd attempt with Avas. The 1st went well, the 2nd was late, not on the date I requested, nor the bouquet I requested.

    This order was the final straw and I will do what I can to never recommend Avas to anyone. I gave them a good test run over a 5 year period, they failed me twice with no reimbursement. Run, don't walk away from Avas. Make a direct call to a florist local to the recipient. That boosts local economy and you can speak directly to a local shop. Worst experience ever, no care to the service to their customers.

    I ordered flowers for my stepmother as a combination birthday and get well. I ordered pretty flowers in a vase & requested delivery on Saturday. After placing the order, I was sent an email stating that they did not have what I ordered, and the only option given was a bouquet not in a vase. Since I was busy & did not have time to shop around again, I agreed. However, the flowers were sent via UPS and arrived on Monday. They were left by the front door.     I googled florists near where my daughter gave birth and AvasFlowers was at the top of the list. Believing this business was a local business I ordered flowers and balloons for the birth of my first grandchild. The flowers were supposed to be delivered the same day however several hours later I received a text message there was a problem, and they would be delivered the next day. The next day I received the delivery confirmation saying the flowers had been delivered, however when I arrived at the delivery location a few hours later I was surprised to find out the flowers had never been received. I called customer service, and they apologized and offered to resend the order. Waited till the next day and still no flowers.

    My daughter finally received a phone call from where the flowers were originally supposed to be delivered to saying the flowers, but no balloons had been left outside their door after business hours. I again called customer service to complain about the mix up and was told they would reship to her home address since she had been discharged. I was again told the flowers would be there the next day. Within a few minutes of hanging up with customer service I was sent an email advising me the arrangement I ordered was no longer available and there were pictures of arrangements I could choose from to substitute, and chocolate covered strawberries would be added at no charge. I was informed this would be the last time they would deliver, which I thought was funny considering NOTHING had been delivered to my daughter at this point, but I had been charged.

    I was more than done dealing with Avas Flowers and asked for a refund. The customer service rep told me he could only refund me 25% (this barely covered the missing balloons.) I was told the flowers would be delivered Friday, then by the end of the call it would be Saturday before they were delivered. Saturday evening I received an email from Avas Flowers with a tracking number for a UPS shipment that was scheduled to be delivered on Monday. Flowers still didn't come so I checked the tracking number with UPS and UPS claimed to not have the apartment so they couldn't deliver. I confirmed the address, which did have the apartment number.

    Flowers finally arrived on Tuesday; they were fairly wilted according to my daughter. The chocolates were horrible! They looked like someone chewed them up and spit them back in the package! I have added a photo of the chocolate, a photo of what I ordered and a photo of the flowers that were delivered to the wrong location (minus the balloons that were never received). My daughter did not send me photos of the flowers that arrived with the chocolate covered strawberries.

It was hard to contact the business as everything is online and you go through the customer service which was not helpful! I could not talk to the store myself.     Customer service is poor. I ordered online and received multiple texts/emails to call them due to delivery address. I called them back twice and the person just took my information and said someone would call me back from their specials department. Within 5 minutes, I received another text/email to call them. I called again and the cycle continued. No one called me back to fix the problem and the order was not delivered. I received another email/text the next day and called back and they said the flower was not available and there was not a delivery address problem.     I ordered a 47$ bouquet to be delivered at her baby shower, they never showed up but when I finally got to speak to the customer service 4 days later they said it was delivered, my daughter has camera that proves nothing delivered, they tried in every way to convince me they were. Even offering a New delivery, but I didn't trust them. On my receipt they had 9.99 for delivery and a 28$ service fee. But I had no delivery, and no service. They're unprofessional and crooked.     I went online to order my mother flowers for her last birthday as she has a terminal illness and the website said same-day delivery. Her birthday was the next day. I ordered what appeared to be beautiful flowers and was sent an email four hours later that my delivery was going to be at least three days late.     Avas Flowers came up when I searched for a local florist in Mashpee, MA (Cape Cod). I paid extra for a Dluxe Harmony Bouquet for our mom's anniversary. First, I was charged a $25 'service fee' - no idea why. It was not a rush or same-day delivery. The flowers that arrived looked nothing like the photo and description. They were a bouquet you can buy for $19.99 at a grocery store and they came from a florist 100 miles away. They were crammed into a pathetic vase with no ribbon or decor, they were NOT SPECIAL in any way. This 'Harmony Bouquet' advertised for $52.99 came to $82.63, four times the cost of a grocery store bouquet which is what they were. What a scam.     I’d normally check a company’s reviews before ordering but this company popped up when I searched local florists near my mom’s home and I just went with it. My order was placed ahead of time, for my mother’s birthday, as I’ve given my mom a flower arrangement EVERY YEAR for the last 21 years!!     I ordered flowers and six balloons for my daughter’s 18th birthday. It was supposed to be a surprise, They ended up calling her and ruining the surprise and then never delivered the flowers or balloons. I called the number many times. Talk to someone that I could not understand. They end up switching florists And delivering the flowers the next day with no balloons so I had to call them again and try to understand them and tell them that the balloons were never delivered and the balloons surprisingly was delivered four hours after I called back. Worst service ever. Do not order from them. They were supposed to be delivered to her school before 3:45 PM. What a joke. I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews.     I ordered a flower arrangement for mother and the site said it would be available and delivered next day. I received a text the following day from Avas Flowers indicating my delivery would not be made that day and the arrangement I chose was not available. They offered very few substitutes that were cheap and completely different than what I had ordered. I was offered a cancellation and clicked on the "cancel my order" icon. I received a confirmation online of my cancellation. Later, I received a text that I had to call them, urgently.

    I waited on hold for minutes and when the representative came on, I had to explain the entire situation over again. She was adamant that I accept a substitution and 4 times I told her I wanted to cancel the order and I was hung up on. (I was dealing with this while trying to work). I received 4 more texts saying I had to call them. I went online and re-cancelled my order...Again!! I received another "urgent" text and called again. While waiting 7 minutes, I finally received another text saying my order was cancelled. I have a sneaky suspicion that I won't see the refund and have to do this all over.

    I ordered flowers and was told that everything would be perfect and the recipient would love them. So first the price on line skyrocketed when I was asked to pay and the agent was charging me for shipping when it said free then he dropped the price when I explained this which was still high. Then right after I was told that everything was going to be perfect and on time. I got a text saying that there was a problem. I called back and they told me that the flowers were unavailable and that the would be shipped the next day. That wouldn't work for me so they said that they would upgrade me to something much better. Never told me what the upgrade would be so I called them back and they said that it would be the same flowers only better. Well you can see by the pictures that wasn't the case.

    When I called them back to tell them what I received was a joke they offered me a 15% discount on my next order which I had already been offered on the first go around. Then they offered 10 dollars and 15%. I told them that what they did and are doing is completely unacceptable they offered 50% back on order. When I told them to do it because I was tired of going back and forth they sent back what was not 50% and said that the taxes shipping and processing were not included. I told her that there was no shipping fee on the order to begin with and she tried to tell me that on my order I would see a charge for shipping then a credit under that. At this point I was completely frustrated and done with the whole deal. I would not recommend their services nor will I ever use them again. You are better off going to Kroger and not dealing with the hassle.

I ordered a nice bouquet of purple and yellow flowers in a smoked vase but what was delivered was a few cheap carnations looking NOTHING like the bouquet I ordered. They reserve the right to change the flowers and vase and they take that very seriously. Order instead from a legitimate FTD florist that is not in the business to rip you off.

Before placing the order, I inquired to see if the bear seen in the photo was going to be the exact bear she was getting and I was ASSURED that it would be that bear. $86 dollars later, my niece received a black bear. Not the golden colored bear shown in the photo on the website. My niece, who was hospitalized for a serious condition did not appreciate this, and as the buyer, I did not appreciate being lied to. I will never use this company again.

    Please do not use this company if you care at all about what the arrangement will look like. They have beautiful arrangements pictured on their site, but they do not deliver anything close to what is pictured. I made the mistake of using this company to send flowers to my MILs funeral and ended up being embarrassed and sad at the abysmal flowers that were sent. Please send your money with ANYONE else. Photos Added of what they showed online vs what was sent.

    Way overpriced for what I received for Anniversary flowers. My regular florist was closed. Never again. Very small arrangement for $110. My regular local florist gives me the same arrangement but double the size for $80. Never had a problem (Flower Bar). I would give them 5 Stars. Avas I would give 2 and that is being generous. Even though they promised free delivery with the code and I did not get it I did tip the man. It was not his fault.

    Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’d waste my time detailing the issue, but just allow the 3,000 + (1) star reviews explain. Turned a funeral delivery into a complete disaster. Just read the reviews and do yourself a favor by choosing ANY one of the many other flower delivery services available.

    We purchased a beautiful spray for my sister’s funeral. We went early on the night of the viewing to make sure they had arrived. One looked like my order but there was NOTHING indicating who they were from. I called them immediately only to be told I DID NOT buy a card from them to attach to the order. WAIT, WHAT? So we went home (1 hour drive) and made our own card. We arrived early the next day for the funeral so we could attach a card. RIDICULOUS, is this not stupid. I am done with AVA’S!!! BIG MISTAKE THAT I WILL NOT MAKE AGAIN!!

    Besides the order being 2 days late for my 84 year mother which they did give me a credit of $24.95 on a $119.00 order. I order the arrangement supposedly having a dozen roses. Look what they sent my mother. Looks likes they picked them out of a field, and they came wilted. I’m so furious and embarrassed!! How dare them!!.

    Ordered flowers on Sunday morning. Customer service person said she spoke to the driver and they guaranteed delivery that day between 12 - 3. No flowers by 3pm. After I called twice they guaranteed they would be there. Guess what? No delivery that day. Called to get a refund the next day and they said the florist was closed! WHAT???? Gave me a real hard time about a refund. They asked me 10 times to take a discount on a future order....you couldn't get it right the first time, think I'm gonna use you again? No!! Still awaiting my refund. Terrible promises; terrible (and difficult to understand) customer service. Not using them again! Do better, Avas!!!

    I ordered same day delivery flowers for my wife. I received an email saying the order was processed and that it was on its way. My wife came home and never mentioned getting the flowers. I checked on their website and it said it had been delivered. By this time I figured something was wrong so I called my wife. No flowers had been delivered. She never heard of the person that they said signed for it. I tried to call them but you after all the automated messages you finally get to where it says you talk to a person if you press 2. So I did and it continued to say that it did not understand the response until it hung up on me.

    I then used the chat bot which said there was a problem with the order. It said they tried to deliver it but was unable. The I tried to cancel the order and it said I could not because it was a same day order which is ridiculous because it was from the day before. So as of now flowers, not able to cancel. I should have known when they added a service fee at the end of the ordering process that I should have gone elsewhere. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    If I could give no stars I would. Ordered flowers a week ago, money was withdrawn from account and order was confirmed immediately. Fast forward several days to the day of the funeral services, less than 5 hours before the service, I get a text message that the order was cancelled as flowers are unavailable. I called the number and was given prompts that ultimately said there was no option to speak to customer service as order was cancelled.

    I ordered a very small flower arrangement to be delivered for a birthday which cost $49.98 plus $9.99 delivery, $4.99 for card. I was also charged a $24.95 service fee which was not shown as part of the total. My total charge was $92.33! AVAS is a scam!!!!

    I ordered flowers off of their website on 8/15. They were supposed to be delivered on 8/16. Today is 8/19/24 and the flowers have not been delivered and they have made ZERO attempts to call me. I however have called every telephone number possible and have gone on to their website multiple times. Their telephone number will send you through an abundance of prompts and then states due to the holiday they are experiencing high call volume and cannot take the call.. However if you call and press 1 to place a new order someone answers right away! So, I pressed 1 and I got and tried to cancel the order and get resolution only to be transferred back to the same Telephone loop that ends nowhere.. I have since reported this to my credit card company. In addition I also had 4 fraudulent TikTok orders attempted on the same credit card. That credit card has since been cancelled. Avoid using this company!!
