They have a hidden service charge of $28.94 that doesn't come out until payment is made. That's disrespectful to customers and lack of honesty. Companies have to be honest if they want to be successful. By deceiving people, they will lose their business. I will NEVER order flowers from you again.

While I am thankful that the delivery was successful, I will say if I had read the reviews about AvasFlowers beforehand, I not have used them. (Their website only showed logos of those they say are "recommending" them... No reviews available from that stand point. Main reason: I am not sure this is a family owned business which they advertise and is what I was looking for. There was no human touch, except when they told you that they needed confirmation about something, THEN it was "call back" only because they are so busy. Gheesh. That took 45 more minutes to connect.
I tried to cancel online too, but the response was, "your order is in progress so you need to call us"...AGH. There is no "chat", email, or phone number to reach a human. The employees who called back, (more than a few times because my phone rejects unknown numbers), were showing from DE and VA and I had the feeling the call was coming in from abroad somewhere. Hope this helps someone out there!

HORRIBLE customer service, flowers not delivered on time (2 days after the fact), and were an AWFUL contrast to what I actually chose from the website. Overpriced, no way to talk with anyone at the business, and a very disappointing, embarrassing product. Also, they advertise 'free delivery' with a code, but fail to mention a $24.95 processing fee on your checkout. DO NOT order flowers from this company. Find a local florist on Google Maps so that you can actually write a Google review! You CANNOT write a Google review for this company.

Ordered two arrangements for my coworker's daughter. Never received. After multiple attempts to resolve and more missed delivery dates, I finally asked for a refund. They offered to contact the recipient and apologize for the delay. They also offered an upgraded gift basket to be delivered 2 weeks after the original delivery date. Horrible customer service system! You are routed to an automated system to be placed in a queue to wait for the next available representative. I spent more than 2 hours on the phone trying to resolve their mistake and 90% of that time was on hold!
I'm tired of their apologies and trying to understand the representatives when they speak to you. These folks are not affiliated with the BBB for a reason. They could not meet the proper standards. If my company was run like this, I would have been fired! Shame on me for not reading their lousy reviews on other credible websites other than their own. Order #s ** & **. Please review this company carefully before you place an order with them!

1 star isn't low enough. What I ordered and what I received is nowhere near acceptable. See photos, charged 100$ and offered a10$ discount cause they messed up. Offered to replace on Monday which means my wife would have to take already wilting flowers back to work, with her on Monday just to get another screwed up order, check reviews before ordering from this 2 bit company. I'll never order from Avas again. I'd rather drive 220 miles and deliver myself. I've seen flowers at Walmart in better condition than these, absolutely disgusted with the service and so-called quality of this company's product. Save your money and go to a reputable florist when it really matters.

This was the worst experience ever. I paid over a $100 for some flowers that I just should have purchased on my own and delivered them on my own. It took them to deliver these flowers and a kept getting the address incorrect after speaking with staff multiple times. I paid for flowers. Balloons and a card and all she got was. The flowers like what is going on. I paid too much money for you guys to mess this up. If I could give 0 stars, I would, they should make that an option. I am not happy with this experience. We just had a for my sister and the loss of her mother and I was trying to make this special and this was the most frustrating experience.

I am beyond livid and wish I had looked at reviews before rushing to place this order. First of all, they don't tell you that there's a TWENTY-FIVE-DOLLAR service fee tacked on at the very end, so my $45 birthday bouquet ended up costing $80, and that's with free delivery. Second, they boast about being local, but they're obviously not since they can't even deliver in the same city the next day. They're actually shipping it. That says it's not bloody local. So I placed an order for a birthday bouquet and immediately got a text after saying they didn't have it in stock and to pick something else. None of the choices were birthday-related at all! I got choices of potted plants. Potted plants? That's not the same as a bouquet of wildflowers. :( All over their site, they boast about same day delivery in most places and you'd think that since they SAY they're in Franklin, that deliveries in Franklin could at least be sent out for the next day! This wasn't even for same day.
So then, they're supposed to be delivered today and I get an email with a USPS tracking number (what?!) saying they will be delivered on Monday!! So not only did I get screwed with a $25 service fee after taking the time to pick out a bouquet and a nice card and think of something nice to say, but they couldn't even deliver when they promised! I paid $80 friggin dollars for THIS?! To have it delivered 3 days LATE?! Then I go to Google and I see that they're a bloody SCAM! Great. I'll be calling my credit card company on Monday. There's plenty of evidence to get my wasted money back, including my ignored emails. AVOID!!!

I give them a 1 because there is nothing lower than that. I order my flowers 2 days before I needed them. The website says they can deliver on the same day so I thought since I was 2 days ahead, I would be fine. The next day, I got an urgent message about my order and to please call them as soon as possible. I did just that. I got a recording that said they would hold my place in line and call me right back, they never did and I called multiple times to try and get to someone. So the day I needed the flowers (which were promised to me by noon) I arrive at the funeral home and they are nowhere in sight. Since then, I have continued to call someone of which I get the same recording. No one will ever call me back and I am out $151.00. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

After trying 4 times to order on their website, I called the 877 number and a nice guy was able to help me UNTIL THE END. After going through all that crap, he surprised me with a $25.00 SERVICE FEE! When I questioned it (because website said free delivery) he kept trying to sell me the fact that everyone charged it. I had to tell him 3 times to cancel the order. So upsetting. I used to call the shop and get good service.

If you're looking to get robbed and lied to, then Avas is definitely the way to go. When a business doesn't have a Google My Business page, there's a reason. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had ordering flowers. I placed an order for my stepmom's birthday. The reason I chose them was because they offered for it be delivered early for an additional fee. I like for the recipient to be able to enjoy them for most of the day, so I paid for that.
The entire order was a mess. It took almost 40 minutes to get the order placed, then they throw an additional 'service fee' on to jack up the price. Claiming that's for them to make the arrangement. Whatever. That's not how it works. Ending price was $125 for an arrangement listed as $69 on their website. Then the day of delivery, which was her BIRTHDAY, they send me an email at 10am saying they can't deliver it and asked me to choose a different date. The only way to speak to someone is by calling the sales number and they refuse to help you, claiming they don't have access to the order. They send you to a 'customer support' number that keeps repeating over and over to check your email for the notice that was sent.
The email doesn't give you an option to do anything EXCEPT choose a later date. Same thing with chat. When I chose to cancel on the website, it pops up and says in red that the order is scheduled for delivery and can't be canceled. Really? How is it scheduled when you just sent me an email asking me to choose a different delivery date. PLEASE call a local florist. Luckily I was able to call someone local that could get it out today. I will NEVER deal with this SCAM of a company again. Once they get your money, you'll never speak to another human again. Turned what was supposed to be a celebratory moment into an absolute nightmare.

I paid for the upgraded, most expensive bouquet and what was delivered to the recipient was pathetic. When you call Avas, they tell you to call a different number. When you call the other number, they basically tell you that you are automatically in queue to receive a call back and when the phone rings and you answer it automatically hangs up so you can never get through. No one to call. No one to talk to. No one to help. I plan on calling my bank. This is a scam. Don't order from this place.

I ordered a bouquet pictured on their website. After the delivery fee and "service" fee the cost was $100. Bouquet not delivered to apt - just left in lobby. Bouquet not even close to that pictured with flowers wilting and of very poor quality. Called "lavender" bouquet but not even a sprig of lavender. Don't buy anything from Avas!!! It will be a rip off for sure!

DO NOT order from this company. I ordered flowers with a Sunday delivery date. I received an receipt with a Sunday or Monday delivery date. Flowers were never delivered. I put in a request to track the order and ended up going through customer service, poor phone connection, didn’t call me back and could barely understand anything that she was saying. She was not helpful, just told me to wait for the next update email. The proof that they sent me the flowers were delivered was a close-up pictures of lilies. No bouquet, no background to see that the delivery location just close-up of flowers. I spent over $100 on a beautiful floral arrangement for the birth of my granddaughter for nothing. Highly disappointed in this company, I will never use them again.

I would strongly suggest never using this website. I should’ve ordered specifically from a local florist in the area. I was sending the flowers to. The picture on the website compared to what my sister received was totally different. It was an embarrassment. I don’t know how companies get away with us. I will never be ordering from this website again.

Terrible first experience, I ordered flowers bouquet, chocolates and greetings card for my daughter birthday, since I was faraway from home for work. The flowers, excellent; the card ($4.99) they just print the message in the same ugly card with cares instructions for the flowers; the chocolates ($17.99) missing in the order. Customer service is a scam, designed to frustrate you and make you to give up. Will never use this service again, nor will recommend it. My order# **.

An order was placed with a charge for early delivery prior to departing for vacation. A call was placed to cancel the order around 2:30 pm which is after the 2 pm delivery time. Vacation plans did not allow waiting for flowers to be delivered. Upon returning home 3 days later, the dead flowers were found on porch (see photo). The company did credit the 9.99 for early delivery but not the flower arrangement charge. I did notice there is nothing but negative reviews for this company on-line. However, their website has fantastic reviews with only a couple negative. Talk about false advertising. Buy your flowers elsewhere!!!!

Do NOT waste your money with Avas Flowers. So many errors and flowers do NOT get to destination on time, if at all. Customer Service disconnects you or leaves you on hold for hours. Ordered a sympathy spray to be delivered to a church for funeral service and never delivered. Everything wrong from not spelling customer name correct on email so never receive invoice to not delivering flowers. Received their money immediately though. Stay far away. MAYBE THIS IS A SCAM as they took my money and I have no product.

Absolutely THE WORST experience I have ever had buying flowers for delivery. I ordered flowers for a dear friend's funeral, to be there in time, as ordered and paid for. Avas Flowers FAILED in all areas. Their customer service personnel, while pleasant, are utterly ineffectual. After 5 phone calls, where they kept asking for the same information over and over again, and promising that they would get the flowers to the deceased's home (instead of the funeral), they failed at that. The flowers still have not been delivered, 48 hours after the funeral. AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS AT ALL COST!!!!

Wish I could give zero stars. They are a scam. I tried to place an order online, but it didn't work. Had what appeared to be a helpful staffer when I ordered via phone. I was placing an order for delivery to a funeral home; while on the call, the staffer confirmed she had talked with the funeral home to confirm delivery. I received my first note that delivery wasn't feasible within seven minutes. It took more than an hour to get any meaningful response: I tried email, the customer line, the sales line and the AI customer service portal (So, I really tried to make it work!).
When I did finally get someone on a line, it was redirect after redirect, and hold after hold. I had to ask SIX times to cancel my order. They kept speaking over me, trying to upsell or pivot me to a discount. I found them to be rude and disrespectful; they asked if they could contact the family (I'm sorry, you want to contact the family mourning a loss to remedy the cluster of a situation your floral service is? HECK NO.) I asked to speak to a manager. They put me on hold again, and only THEN was I able to cancel my order. Zero stars, stay away.

INSENSITIVE AND CRUEL! THERE SHOULD BE A NO STAR OPTION! My brother passed away on Sunday 7/20 Sunday. Everything happen so suddenly. I was not in my right mind and all the arrangements happened so quickly. I made a flower arrangement with Avas to be delivered to the funeral home in Woodbourne, NY where he lived which is a small town 2.5 hrs away from my house. Funeral was set for 7/23 Wednesday at 10 am. I made the order to be delivered for 7/23 to the funeral home even paid extra priority shipping to get there before 11 am. That was the earliest option they had available.
Soon after the order went through I received an email to please call because they are unable to find a local florist that can deliver for that date and time and asked if they can deliver to my house. Which understandably so I said ok. But then it needs to get to my house on Tuesday anytime so I can have it for Wednesday when I leave at 6:30 am so I can be there before 10 am with the flowers. They said ok. I wait all day Tuesdays and around 4 pm I call them to check and make sure it's coming. (FYI the call system drops constantly and they always do a call back. There is no way to just wait and hold to speak to someone.) They tell me something must have happened. Puts me on hold to come back and tell me the local flower shop will have it to me by 7 to 8 pm possibly can be later. So I wait again.. nothing.
By 10 pm I call again and now they have customer support during these hrs. I call again Wednesday morning at 6:30 am no customer support. If they just told me prior on Tuesday it was impossible to get the flowers to me I would have rushed out to grab anything anywhere. They kept referring back to my original order that the delivery is for 7/23. I went to the funeral without these flowers. At 5 pm on 7/23 back at my house still no flowers anywhere, not at the funeral home, not at the cemetery and not at my house when I returned so I called to ask what happen and that I would like a refund. The representative has the nerve to tell me the order is placed for 7/23 and it is still be fulfilled at 5 pm. She has the nerve to tell me it's still being processed so she can't do a refund. I did lose my mind and went off on her.
How someone anyone can sit there and think this is ok. Even if they were basing this situation by the original order placed I should have had these flowers on 7/23 to the funeral home or even at my house by 11 am. The representative pretended she no longer could hear me repeating hello, hello and hung up. Soon after I open my front door to take the trash out, the flowers are sitting at my door. The flowers did look nice, it would have been great if I had it when it was suppose to come. I couldn't understand why there was no base to hold the green Styrofoam in little bit of water that holds all the flower in place. Nothing, no clear plastic base, no basket, not even a clear plastic wrapping. No knock at my door. No doorbell ringing. Exhausted, furious and barely able to keep my swollen eyes open I went to prepare for guest coming and later went to sleep.
Now Thursday 7/24 5 am I've had enough of these people and called my credit company to file a dispute which was processed right away. Around 9 am I get a call from Avas Flowers saying that they fulfilled the order so there will be no refund. I had a hard time composing myself and told them how exactly was it fulfilled? After the fact? How is this acceptable? But not to worry I already filed the dispute. The absolute disgusting audacity to tell me it was fulfilled instead of an apology and a simple refund. I told them these flowers are outside where they drop it off so please feel free to come get them but you will not be getting a penny from me.
In fact as angry as I am I will pursue every avenue to make sure they pay for all the additional grief and aggravation they caused with this nonsense if I don't see my funds back ASAP! I have all the emails, phone calls, RingDoor video time stamps for every damn incompetent interaction with the most disrespectful business I have encountered. Think twice before doing any business with them, it shouldn't be this difficult for something so simple.

We placed an order and it was delivered to the wrong place and a different one was dropped off at the opposite location. The recipient had to drive the others location and switch. The customer service bot did nothing to help and the arrangement we paid for is not true to advertising. Please use any other florist. This was very disappointing.

Avoid Ava’s Flowers -Ponte Vedra, FL– Misleading, Unreliable, and Possibly a Scam. I ordered sympathy flowers in June for my girlfriend in Ponte Vedra, FL. I specifically asked if I was calling a local florist (not FTD), and the woman I spoke with (** accent) insisted that I was dealing directly with a local shop, not a national service. That turned out to be completely false. She promised to send a receipt and a photo of the arrangement via text or email. The flowers were delivered — but I never received the receipt, photo, or even a basic confirmation. Yet my credit card was charged.
Three of my friends pitched in to help cover the cost, and I needed to send them the receipt. I followed up multiple times, and each time I was given the runaround — told there was no record of my order, passed off to FTD, then another florist, and back again. No one took ownership. This feels incredibly shady. Either Avas Flowers is completely disorganized, or they’re intentionally misleading customers. Either way, I will never use them again. I’m going to file a dispute with my credit card company and will be reporting this behavior everywhere I can.

They are thieves. I paid for a large bouquet of tulips with a beautiful pink base and received a small order with no vase. I needed it to be delivered to Mount Sinai Hospital and it was 6 hours later. Shame on them. I will put a review wherever I can and report them as thieves

Shop with another florist. I ordered same day delivery for a birthday. The arrangement still had not been delivered by 2:00pm the following day. When I called to complain they lied and said that they attempted to make the delivery on the same day. The birthday recipient was home and no one attempted a delivery.

Ordered flowers @ 9am and was told my wife will get the flowers by noon. Well it's 5:00 & she's on her way home and no flowers. I call customer service. After they put me on hold for 22 min they tell me that they can't locate the flowers or driver so they can't say when they will arrive. I had 1 shot to surprise her and it's gone. DO NOT order through Avas. I'm so fired up. Wish I could give zero stars.

My mother sent flowers to me from Ava’s for my birthday. She thought she was contacting a local florist, however, this company is like 1800 Flowers but with even worse customer service! After she placed her order she was told they would be calling me before the flowers were delivered, I never received a phone call and happened to be out to dinner when the flowers arrived. Whomever delivered them did not even bother to ring the doorbell. (I have a ring camera and door bell so would have been notified if they rang the bell.) At the time of delivery, it was 93 degrees outside. The flowers were left on my front porch to sit in the heat and sun.
Upon arriving home, I noticed the flowers, some of which were already wilted due to them sitting there in the heat for at least an hour before I arrived home. I was a bit underwhelmed by the flowers, they looked exactly like a $9.99 bouquet from Trader Joe’s, a couple of chrysanthemums, two sunflowers, some greens and one rose, which is nothing like what my mother would normally send as she loves flowers and doesn’t pick something cheap when she sends them. My mom asked if the flowers had been delivered and for a photo of the arrangement. When I sent the photo, she was livid…she had paid $136.33 for what was supposed to be several dozen of tulips.
What I had received was nothing like what she paid for and ordered. She called Ava’s to let them know and was on the phone with them for over an hour trying to resolve the situation, they did not want to give her a refund despite this being a total bait-and-switch operation and having been caught! Honestly, I don’t even think the flowers came from a legit “local florist” as Ava’s claims. It looks like a random person went to the dollar store bought a clear glass vase and then threw a $9 bouquet from the grocery store in it and delivered it.
What's even more absurd is that when my mother called to tell them about the problem and ask for a refund, they told her the flowers that I did receive would need to be returned that they would send someone to come and get them. No one ever showed up of course because the gas money and time for someone to come back to get the flowers wouldn’t even be worth it —so ridiculous. Would NEVER ever order from here and advise others absolutely not to!

They're horrible liars, $ $73.00 for a Bouquet 💐💐💞 of flowers order from Utah to my deceased husband to Shady Oak Baptist Church on highway 84 Collin MS, never arrived. I ordered from one number. The next day the number was changed to something else, you Ruined my Father's Day gift for my husband, I will never used your Service again, I hope the BBB put you out of business, you wrong people @ their vulnerability. 😡😡😡😡

Be sure to review the substitution policy carefully. You might pay for a beautiful arrangement pictured online but end up receiving something noticeably less attractive. I specifically ordered a colorful purple orchid to cheer up a friend returning from a hospital stay and instead they delivered a gloomy white orchid without first consulting me so I could have had the opportunity to change my order.

I placed an order with Avas Flowers on June 25th to be delivered two days later at a funeral in Cullman, Alabama. The flowers were meant to honor the life of my dear friend’s father. Avas accepted the order and assured me the flowers would get there. The next day, they called and told me "The Designer" needed to make flower substitutions. Fine. No problem. Five hours after that, they called to tell me that they couldn't be delivered in time for the funeral but would be delivered same day to the family's home. Two hours after that, they called to tell me they wouldn't be delivered to the family's home until two days after the funeral. So, not only did the flowers never arrive, but as of today (July 1st), I still have no confirmation or apology from the company.
Because of Avas Flowers’ complete failure, I appeared thoughtless and absent during one of the most important moments in my friend’s life. I trusted this company to deliver sympathy and support, and instead they delivered nothing. No communication. No explanation. No flowers. This is not just poor customer service—it’s emotional negligence. When someone orders funeral flowers, it’s not optional. It’s not flexible. It’s a promise to show up with compassion and grace. Avas Flowers failed that promise in every way. Do not trust this company with your memories, your grief, or your reputation. They cost me more than money. They cost me the chance to stand beside a grieving friend—and I will never forget that.

Avas Flowers advertises same day delivery. I ordered flowers at 11:35am (9:35am delivery location time) but apparently, they had issues and could not fulfil that process yet only contacted me the next day at 1:30pm (11:30am delivery location time). After multiple call connection issues (you can't get a person on phone when call, you sign up for a return call). This happened 3 times. After the first missed call, I went online to request they go ahead and deliver today. I received another call to advise they couldn't deliver until the next day (2 days after the requested delivery date) and when I said refund my money and I'll order locally, they miraculously said they could deliver today after all.
I was told they'd do "extra" on my flower order to make the recipient happy and that's the only reason why I gave them 2 stars vs. 1. I don't mind unexpected issues, but if they had informed me on the day of online order, I could have gone through a local service to ensure the flowers were ordered on time...and they would still have my business. But with this experience and the worthless customer service contact process, I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

Total Scam. Received flowers from my sister. Did not look anything like the website photo. Price misleading - huge "service fee". The website showed a lovely clear dark blue vase. What arrived was a sloppy paint job on a clear vase with missing spots and noticeable paint drips. Size received was one third of the size paid for. Not the same amount or type of flowers. Customer service is the worst. Terrible experience. We don't recommend this company to anyone.

Called me 4 times to verify my order to get it same day delivery, then called me 2 hours later saying that it won’t be able to get there the same day, asked for a discount and they said they could get me more flowers, I asked what the means like another bouquet, or does that mean like 1-3 more flowers. She said she didn’t know. Asked for a refund and they said they could do that, I asked if the refund would be back today. They said 3-5 business days because there is a process. I said there is also a process when purchasing the flower but you take the money right away. She said multiple times sorry for the inconvenience. I don't usually write negative reviews but this time I feel it is absolutely necessary. I ordered flowers for a memorial service. First thing that went wrong was Avas didn't have the arrangement I had requested. They did contact me and I agreed upon a substitution. I ordered a banner to be added to the arrangement with "Love Dad" or something of the sort. No Banner was included with the flowers. Next, the name of the deceased at the funeral home was not included with the flowers so the funeral home had no idea who the flowers were for. Then I found out that the flowers were not delivered by the date of the memorial. I had asked they be delivered the day prior to ensure they arrived on time. This should have been on May 30 for services on 5/31/25. The flowers did not arrive until June 2, 2025. When I checked with family to see if the flowers had arrived, they had no knowledge of any arrangement being sent. This is totally unacceptable.
I contacted Avas regarding the situation on June 3, 2025 as soon as I became aware the flowers did not arrive as promised. The person who answered the phone only wanted to give me a $10 credit on another purchase! Laughable! I told her this was unacceptable for a $200 order that they completely messed up. I requested to speak with a manager which did not happen however the person on the phone did do something above her as she came back with a 50% refund offer. I accepted this offer as I figured it was the best I was going to get since the flowers did arrive even though they were late and with a little investigating with the family, the family was able to retrieve the flowers. When the flowers were delivered they were in a box with a vase but no set up was offered to the funeral home. Just dropped off. Will never use this company again!

Ordered flowers for same-day delivery. Received email confirmation of delivery within a couple of hours. However, flowers were not received at address. Attempted to contact Avas, and learned that their post-sales customer service is entirely automated. The customer service number their system directs you to for a live representative “has been changed,” and no one picks up at the new number. Eventually managed to contact a representative and was told they had confirmation of delivery, so I must be incorrect. When they eventually sent me a photo showing the delivery, it was obviously not the correct address (easily confirmed using Google Street View to compare with the delivery address in my receipt). Avas is now refusing a refund since they have confirmation of delivery.

If I could give a zero star review I would. Absolutely hands down worst experience I’ve had trying to get flowers delivered. Second time using this outfit and should’ve known better after the first experience. Ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day, only to have them delivered a day early. I wrote it off as just a miscommunication, this time they delivered a day late. After going through hell trying to talk to a person to see what the issue was, this time only to get a “Oh I am sorry for the delay, sir.” And that’s all I could get, not a refund, discount, nothing. After all that, probably the worst part is, wasn’t even the flowers I ordered and they tacked on a nice 25.00 convenience charge, making my $42.00 flowers $87.00 after all said and done. I will never be using this outfit again and I strongly urge you to not use them as well.

I ordered an orchid and balloon from Avas to be delivered on 6/9/25. I was called on Sunday night and told the orchid and balloon were not available. Avas said they would not be able to obtain the orchid until the next day. They also said that there were no balloons available. They said the order would not be available for delivery until 6/10/25. Also, the orchid would be delivered by UPS, even though their website said same-day delivery. When the orchid arrived, there were blooms that had fallen off and the orchid was damaged. I have contacted the customer service to see if the orchid will be replaced. Still waiting. The sales staff says they can do what you request but in reality that isn't true in my case.

I wish I had read reviews before ordering. This is truly the worst company I have ever experienced. This has been 24 hours:
- Coupon code they sent did not work.
- "Service fee" of $25 added on top of the delivery and every other fee when I put in card information.
- Confirmation of delivery email but Flowers were never delivered.
- Researched online and found their terrible reviews and this is the scam they are doing.
- Sent online complaint to website, auto email return response since they were now closed on the day of delivery.
- Called next morning and cannot connect with any person. Registered for a call back.
- Received a call, and representative said they can look into it. I asked to speak to a supervisor, after a few minutes wait, I was disconnected.
I have no clue how this company is legally allowed to still operate.

I purchased some flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day (2025). She lives in a different state. I ordered what I thought was a beautiful bouquet from Avas, and paid for the premium bouquet, which should have been bigger and better than the advertised arrangement. What arrived was something that looked like it got bought in a grocery store. She received 5 roses, and 3 lilies in a vase. That's it. Both of us were so disappointed. Customer service was hard to reach, and didn't respond to me, until I had e-mailed and called multiple times. Then the lady wanted to give me a $10 refund. I told her that I wanted one of the options listed on their site. I got a $50 refund, and my Mom still has the flowers that neither of us were happy with. They did offer to send a new bouquet out, but not for another week (2 weeks late). No thank you. I told them I can no longer trust or deal with them. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Ordered flowers for my son, daughter and new baby on the day he was born. Requested delivery the next day (as they promoted ‘NEXT DAY DELIVERY AVAILABLE”) and paid for expedited delivery. The delivery day was a Sunday and the following Monday was a holiday so, despite my expedited delivery payment, the order was switched to “FLEX” delivery - which means anytime from the 25th to the 27th. When I was told they were bringing the baby home on the 26th, I immediately went online and changed the delivery address from the hospital to the home. Went back into the order later and confirmed that the delivery address change was correct. On the 27th, I got confirmation that the flowers were delivered to the HOSPITAL!
Called “Customer Service” to complain…after almost 25 minutes navigating the horrible automated system and then an additional wait of 35 minutes - finally got thru to a human being. The representative apologized and allegedly redirected the order to my son’s home. She told us that it would be delivered the next day. Well, we waited two days and still no flowers.
Called the customer service again - being (sadly) experienced in their convoluted phone system - I got into the callback queue and while still setting up the callback, call waiting notified me that they were calling….. immediately went over to the call - got the standard “please hold for representative” message and went to dead air….after 10 minutes - they actually asked me to rate my satisfaction with the agent and resolution of my problem then hung up on me. Called back…. Again navigated through their twists and turns, callback queue, callback happened in about 10 minutes. FINALLY got someone who refunded my money!

Does anyone know how to contact this company, by which I mean get an actual person on the phone? They charged me $200.00 and instead sent an $85.00 item as a substitute because they were out of stock. However, they did not refund me the difference. They took $120.00 from me. I made the mistake of ordering flowers from this company. They are a scam. They do not deliver what they picture on their website. You can not reach them to make a complaint. They charge a fee for rush delivery and then do not deliver on time. They offered me 50% back on my order which I paid $118 and they refunded me $34!! 4 days AFTER Mother’s Day, Avas called me to inform me they missed delivering flowers to my Mother ordered for delivery on the Friday before Mother’s day AND that they ran out of the flowers that I ordered. After trying to cancel the order, they convinced me to accept a 35% discount, an apology call to my Mother and they would send the flowers asap. I agreed as long they did NOT send red roses, They agreed they would send coral and yellow roses. However….they sent ONLY red roses. NEVER again will I waste my money or time with this florist!!! and Their customer service is NON-existent. They just quote their substitution policy. I am very disappointed with their lack of customer service, spending money on the one type of flower I would never send and NOT being listened to.

We found Avas online thinking they were local and the prices were good with free delivery today. As may others have said, I should have read the reviews first. The $25+ fee added at the end was a complete surprise. Then the call came that they could not fill the Tulip flower order and needed to make it a designer's choice. How does a florist not have tulips. By now I had figured out they were not local, but sent the orders to other florists to fill. I can say their customer call back system did work for me and I reached someone a few times. During this, the order went from being delivered today on time and then tomorrow. I successfully argued for a refund and after two tries to discount a future order, they agreed. Will never use them again.

The supervisor begged me to let them deliver on Monday. It arrived late evening and the flowers were split in half and it looked as if bugs had been chewing on the leaves. AND they didn't deliver the bear that was also on the order. I called 2 days with no response and finally called the order line to place an order in order to get in touch with a human! This was a HORRIFIC purchase on my part. I ordered a nice flower arrangement for my mother. It was to be delivered on Saturday, before Mother's Day. Avas Flowers contacted me and said they were out of stock on the original flower arrangement and I could choose from any other arrangement at no charge. So, at that point, I chose the 12 red roses with a vase. Then, they reached out to me and said that's not available either, that they have a special Mother's Day Arrangement that they would send. Being they already had my money, I agreed. My BIG mistake! My mom did not receive the flowers in time, they arrived after Mother's Day, AND, when I saw the picture the flowers that were delivered to her, it was an absolute joke. They sent her sunflowers. They called me and left a message on the day that the flowers were supposed to be delivered saying they couldn't complete the order and that I had to call them to approve a modification, then I was two hours trying to get through to them about the call while also trying to work. My call was dropped multiple times, and when I got back through I was put on hold every time for up to 30 minutes, and could also hear a loud rooster in the background as someone in India on a terrible line tried to find out why they had called me.
I was at work while this was going on expecting my sympathy bouquet to be delivered to a grieving mom, and this company's chat bot went around and around with nonsense, no-one answers their phone, and they have broken links on their website and then when they screw up like this they don't let you cancel. After all that I am not even sure if the flowers were actually delivered as I am not about to reach out to the mom to double check, I am highly skeptical that they actually were. Plus, I paid extra for rush and to think they called me three days later on the day of delivery to say they couldn't do it but wouldn't let me cancel. What an absolute sham of a company.

And the lady telling me they’ll try and deliver 5/10 (day of order) or on 5/11, keeping in mind it was a busy schedule (which I acknowledged). She assured me it would be most likely delivered 5/10. Not one mention of the flex delivery policy, and the flowers not even being delivered. Ok, supposedly on 5/12 (after her big day), taking the luster out of the whole idea and principle. This was a gift for the kids to give to their mother, thank you but no thank you. I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day from this local florist specifically to ensure they would arrive on time. A few days before the scheduled delivery, I was notified that the bouquet I selected was unavailable. I quickly chose a replacement—only because the message clearly stated that delivery on my original date (May 11) was still guaranteed.
Now I find out the flowers won’t arrive until after Mother’s Day. When I reached out, they pointed to their holiday policy, which says delivery isn’t guaranteed around busy holidays. I understand that, but if that’s the case, they should not have confirmed delivery when I selected a substitute. That’s misleading and unacceptable. Customer service was dismissive and took no responsibility for the conflicting information they provided. I would say customer service is poor, but actually, it is non-existent. I have been trying to reach a representative to report that flowers had not been delivered to no avail. You are redirected to a customer support number, which gets you to a dead end. How are they able to do business like this? These particular flowers and banner (which I paid extra for) were for my Aunt's funeral services.

Ordered flower arrangement online, difficult to get discount codes. Service fee was a surprise and high. Hard to get customer service on the phone or email. You need order number before questions. Finally got customer assistance, because was notified that flowers were delivered, we didn't receive any flowers. Customer service, Shirley was nice and helpful, arranged a reorder for tomorrow. Hope we receive them as indicated and that they look like what was online. Will continue review after delivery.

I will never order from here again. Ordered same day, order came the next day. The chocolates strawberries were melted and the flowers were a mess. $100 down the drain. Then they don't answer when you call. Won't talk about how my original order was altered because they said they didn't have the original flowers I ordered. So they opted to give me the red roses and chocolate strawberry. A mess I have the pictures of what was sent. And not only was I embarrassed but extremely disappointed. Ava flowers turned my special moment into a total nightmare. If you read this in time, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SCAM OF A BUSINESS! On the website they only show their 5 star reviews. But if you research a a bit more, you will see they are a fraud. You can't get any one on the phone and when you leave a message they do not call you back. Save your money, and I normally do not make any reviews on websites, I suck it up. But they ruined a moment, a moment that could have been special. First of all, Avas's outrageous $26 fee should be shown upfront and not on the last page of an invoice that a person believes is complete. The font is too small, so an older person is not able to easily read or see what they are doing. The discount code is not plugged in automatically, so a customer must leave the page to hunt for it and then re-enter all their information. If a person has to utilize the chatbot, all their information is also erased and must be re-entered. I was so frustrated after putting my information in 4 times that by the time I finally reviewed my order, I clicked continue and never saw the last page with an extra service charge of $26!!! Imagine my surprise when my $68.88 order jumped to $95! I will never use the Avas Flowers website again! Originally, I chose this service because it was advertised as using a local service with no delivery charge. NOT TRUE with a sneaky $26 service fee!

It was scrawny, they're only a few flowers in there, it looked disgusting. I was never so embarrassed in my life. Here is special day for my mother, and I get garbage flowers like the ones that were sent. I am totally disgusted with this company and will never order from them again. The selection was abysmal but I needed a fast turnaround so I went forward. After paying exorbitant fees, I received a message from customer service telling me they cannot fulfill my order and I could not cancel or get a refund. So my only choice was to go with an alternative that wasn't what I wanted and would also be over a week later than I had planned. Do NOT use this company. Find local florist first. And if you must use the big chains, 1800 Flowers and FTD all offered better options, more reasonable fees, and far better service.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST florist. I ordered a bouquet upgraded for my mom for mother's day and received nothing remotely close to the upgrade. There were broken stems in the bouquet, there was no water in the vase, and the vase was broken. Getting through to cust service was a joke which produced nothing they said would happen - a redelivery of the flowers, a refund, an escalation, and an email with a resolution. I STRONGLY advise everyone to stay away from this company. The lack of integrity and follow through is alarming at best. I ordered flowers on a Thursday to be delivered to a hospital. After trying to contact them for 40 minutes because they changed their customer service number and I was being hung up on, I was told they could not do it and was told to have it delivered to a family member. They wanted a family member to take it to my mother in the hospital. Secondly, I received a text 3 days later telling me the flowers were NOT in stock and they could not deliver until 6 days later. Absolutely unreliable and horrible customer service. I can not believe that it is family owned when you can not even talk to the personnel working in the shop! Go elsewhere. This has been the worst experience. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my 50th anniversary. Flowers were charged but never delivered. Customer service if you can reach a human will definitely disconnect you (multiple times). Online chat says the order number doesn’t exist. The only way to reach a human is to say you are “ordering“. Ordered flowers for my Mom for her birthday, I placed order early in the morning and checked on it at lunch time, finally got a live person on the phone, then transferred me to a recording. I called back and asked for a supervisor and explained it was important to me that these get delivered, she said she would work on it and call me back in 30 min, I waited an hour and no call back. I called again and again the same thing, several times of this and by the time they were about to close they said they could not find the driver and they were closing and told me to try back tomorrow. Still no flowers and no refund. Also, there $44.00 of extra fees added to the total.

DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN MINDORO, in the PHILIPPINES. Ordered almost $200 worth of flowers last night for a friend who had surgery and then complications. He lives in a different state so I did not know a local florist. Avas's florist website gave the impression that they were located in Aiken, South Carolina. These people are located in the Philippines and they do not have, as they say, "a staff of floral artists," nor are they "a family owned business" and they have not been in business "for more than 30 years."
It is a total scam. I got an email from them this morning with a list of items that they would not be able to include in the floral arrangement. I am accustomed to florists calling me to say they are out of lilies, but not entire containers and everything I ordered. If you called their customer support line all you get is an automated system that vomits at least it does and questions and answers that just keep taking you to more automated systems. There is no human to answer. The way I got information was I noticed on one website they had a sales line and that's when I knew I had them. Companies may not put human beings in customer support, but they will always put a human being on a sales call when they think they're going to get your money.
The first person I talked to said they were in New York. The second person I talked to said they were in Delaware. Knowing she was from another country and clearly not very intelligent. I told her there was no such state as Delaware, that that's just a place where companies get a license to do business in the United States. That's when she finally told me Avas Florist is in Mindoro in the Philippines and that they do not have any local United States florists. THIS IS A SCAM.

I would never order from Ava‘s again. The bouquet I ordered could not be delivered. They wanted to substitute or offer a cancellation. I tried to cancel, but all day I kept getting notices that I needed to deal with my order, it was being sent. When I finally spoke to someone at customer service after trying to speak to someone all day getting hung up on and routed around till I got hung up on. I finally spoke to someone. She said they would send a nice bouquet and they would also send chocolates because of my issues.
The flowers were supposed to be delivered Friday before Easter. Friday night, I got a notice telling me they couldn’t be delivered. The plane was delayed. I did not understand this since they said the flowers were coming from a local shop. They were not delivered Saturday of course, we’re not delivered Easter Sunday. She received them Monday afternoon. The chocolate-covered strawberries were unfit to eat. And the flowers were completely wilted. I have spent two days trying to reach customer service. They won’t answer my calls. They tell me they’ll call me back when they call me. Someone answers the phone and then I get hung up on. It was the absolute worst experience ever. Don’t buy from Ava‘s.

The arrangement ordered and paid for on the website was not what was delivered. The recipient received a partial order and when I contacted Avas to resolve the issue I was told they would research and correct it. I ordered 2 dozen roses in a vase with 8 balloons. Long story short their supplier would not pick up what was delivered for a return and deliver what was paid for in its entirety. Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered an arrangement for a wake/funeral two days in advance. On the day of the wake, Avas called to tell me they weren't able to deliver them and asked if I could pick them up! When I told them no, the agent asked about dropping them off with a family member. Appalling considering family just might be busy... grieving?!? They then called the funeral home to see if they could pick it up. Again... they were busy arranging the actual wake. I immediately asked for a refund as this was an insane interaction with a florist especially for a funeral.
Instead of refunding right away, the agent offered to use what I had spent as a credit in the future. Now why would I want to give them my business again after they had categorically failed the first time?!? Not to mention their 'Hail Mary' move which was to offer to deliver the flowers the NEXT day. Not sure where they would be delivered to as the wake was one day only and the internment was private. Needless to say, this was absolutely ridiculous and terribly unprofessional. I regret not reading the reviews here as I would have saved myself the stress. I definitely DO NOT recommend purchasing flowers from Avas. I'm surprised they're still in business at this point.

I spoke to customer service hours prior about a substitution- no issues - no problem with the address - then the family informs me they never got them! I find an email claiming they couldn’t deliver to that address which is widely used here & has HUGE signs! I’m expecting a refund. I won’t use this service again. First of all the website misleads one into believing the shop is in the city to which you would like a delivery. Parent company farms out orders and even though I selected several items NONE were available which I was informed via text AFTER being charged. They provided a link for substitutes, none were even close so I selected “cancel the order”. 5 minutes later another text CONFIRMING my order. 2.5 hours later and 4 different phone people they did cancel it but not before offering me first a 15% discount then 30 and then 50 on roses instead of the fruit and cheese baskets. Then she came back with some snack baskets that are not on the website. Red flags people, red flags. What a nightmare and waste of a gorgeous day.

Avas advertise local just for fun. Type in any city and they will be local there also. Free delivery for $10 plus a $25 service charge for putting them in the vase then you get a call explaining the flowers you ordered are not available, but they are going to find something else. Same day delivery should be changed to some day delivery. Very dissatisfied that I wasted my time with them. To be perfectly fair they did refund my money. But we did not have flowers for our anniversary.

Please, please, please do not use Avas Flowers. They put extra service fees; they do not deliver on the date you requested and promised even when you add the extra $9.99 for delivery before 2 PM. Their customer service is out of the country and automated and you cannot speak with anyone, and the phone hangs up on you. You have to call the sales office to pretend it is a new order and when you get a live person from a different country and hard to understand. They tell you to hang up and someone else calls you back and says sorry no refunds even though they changed the date without telling you.
It is smart to use a company that is in the area you are buying the flowers and not an online flower service especially Avas Flowers. I lost $100 out of this deal that they will not give back in a refund. Delivery had to be made on a specific date, and they did not hold up their side of the contract which is illegal and poor business practice and there is nothing we can do except everyone us someone else and put them out of business.

If I could write a zero I would! I ordered flowers ahead of time for my sister‘s birthday, since she is single. My siblings and I got together and thought we would surprise her with a birthday bouquet to make her feel special. We didn’t hear anything from her and I called the following day, and she did not know what I was talking about. The flowers were NEVER DELIVERED! When I tried to call the number and inquire through customer support, it only leads you to a website for you to make a claim and then you have to wait for them to get back to you. There is no other way to speak to an actual person. I waited several days with no reply, and tried to reach back out again through making another claim and it states that you can only leave one claim and ask if you want to replace the previous claim and it let you know that it may delay your response.
Once I did get a call, a week later, the lady tried to bribe me to have the flower sent at a discounted price. I respectfully declined several times and then she got very pushy. That’s when I got a little upset. No one is going to want to send a birthday bouquet a week later. Hands-down the worst delivery service I have ever encountered! Hands-down, the worst customer support I have ever received. I would agree with those that are claiming Avas flowers is a total scam!

Be very careful ordering from this place. They use bait and switch tactics when ordering. They ask you to review your order and then during the final process as you are hitting the order button a 25 dollar service fee pops up. Nowhere else does it mention this sort of outrageous fee. This is an internet company piggybacking off of local florists. It would have been less expense to order locally than from a dishonest middleman company. I will be extra careful from now on. I just don't think people pay attention enough, otherwise this company would not exist. At least I can sleep at night knowing I don't screw people for my existence in life. I tried to have a plant delivered to a friend in Belton, MO. The company sent me delivery confirmation text and the plant was never delivered. When I contacted them on the phone they kept assuring me they would take care of the problem. Twice more I received delivery confirmation with no delivery. Possibly a scam, not sure. This is one of the worst businesses that I've dealt with for a purchase transaction and it was only for a flower arrangement and delivery of the same. I went to their website, selected an arrangement of flowers that I liked and called their sales number on the website. The sales agent directed me to their website to confirm my selection. It was a $65.00 arrangement with a vase and the site also offered a free delivery coupon. Final price for purchase was stated to be around $110.00. I inquired about why the price went from $65.00 to $110.00 and was told it was service charges and taxes. I told the agent that I'll get flowers elsewhere. The sales agent then reduced the cost down to $77.13. This means that the tax rate for purchase for flowers in Ohio is around 18%.
I placed the order and was told that the flowers would be delivered the same day. Three hours later I get an urgent text message from Avas Flowers that my selection of flowers that I ordered are no longer available. They directed me to a site that showed alternatives that they offered as replacement. I went to the site and found around 8 choices that were far below the quality of my original choice. BAIT AND SWITCH? I called customer service to cancel the order and was greeted with a phone message directing me to their website. I called their sales number again and did talk to someone who said that they would forward my message to customer service and someone would call. I waited 30 minutes and no call.
I again called their sales number and they put me in contact with someone at customer service. For all communications the phone reception was erratic and I was told that the phone service was on a delay response which probably means that sales and service are handled outside the U.S.A. It took forever to finally have them understand CANCEL the order and reimburse my credit card charge. They sent me an email saying that they could not determine when the credit card would be reimbursed that it was up to the credit card company. On a level of rating this company from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest it's a shame that there are not lower numbers. Consumer Reports overall rating from people doing business with Avas is 1.1 out of 5.

If I could give a -100 I WOULD - I ordered flowers online for delivery to my sister in Huntsville Alabama. After I placed the order with "free delivery" code the price had increased by 24.99 and I got a blurb on my phone that said they could not deliver to that address, mind you this happened literally SECONDS after I hit ApplePay! (same as cash). So I called, and called, and called. The chickens in the background and the fact the woman somewhere outsourced just kept repeating herself like somehow the same statement would make me say "Oh never mind"? NO I wanted this escalated and resolved. I was put on hold after 46 minutes for an "executive" to call me back. Crickets chirping, I still have not got that call.
Today I called again. I'm on the phone for over an hour to get the call "escalated" again. This time the escalation was a recorded survey - of course, I responded accordingly. Now I'm on hold with Apple Support to see how to dispute this $84.18 charge for what was promoted on the website as a $39.99 (free delivery remember) bouquet that will never be delivered. This business boasts family-owned for over 35 years. Well, the dead person who started this must be tossing in his grave for the HORRIBLE reputation this place has at this point. I called Avas Flowers when my uncle died last week. He was in Dawsonville, GA, which has few options for florists. I placed an order for my selection, after they checked to see if they had the flowers needed to make the arrangement. The value seemed about average. Then they added a service charge plus tax, so the fees seriously escalated the cost by $35 or so. There was also supposed to be a delivery fee for $9.99, but they offered a coupon for free delivery. Otherwise the fees on a $90 arrangement would have been $45!!! They advertise same day delivery, but couldn't get it there until the next day. I was assured the arrangement would arrive before the scheduled funeral. It arrived as everyone was getting in their cars to drive to the grave site. I will never use them again!! This is NOT a place to buy flowers, unless you are in person and don't need delivery.

I bought and paid for flowers to be delivered for my Father's funeral services with Avas Flowers. The day came for services and no flowers were delivered. I got a text at 6:30 pm saying that the flowers got delivered. My Father's services were at 3. The memorial park closed at 5:30. How dare them.

I ordered the upsized "Luxury Grade" bouquet of “She’s Got Style". It includes very BRIGHT colors and an abundance of flowers in a large arrangement. What was delivered was nothing like what was ordered. What was sent was a SMALL bouquet of flowers and pastel in color. Completely different flowers and half the size as paid for. They gave a discount for free shipping and then added on a $25.service fee. This is unacceptable. They wanted me to ask recipient to return her flowers in order to get a refund. They only gave me $40 back. See what was ordered in photos & what was sent!!! Never using this company again.

I just lost my cousin unexpectedly and couldn’t be there for my aunt so I wanted to send flowers. I ordered a bouquet of roses and lilies because she is named after them. They were delivered promptly but the quality was atrocious. I have found nicer flowers in the trash. I was and am so embarrassed that my name was attached to this order. They look nothing like the pictures in the advertisement online. I ordered the largest arrangement and also received fewer flowers than pictured. Some of the flower buds that had not opened were already brown. This is so upsetting and not acceptable at all. I didn’t think to check reviews prior to ordering but I hope you do!

I ordered a bouquet that was suppose to look like photo and they sent a something else. Contacted the company and they stated they had a right to substitute flowers. They substitute the entire bouquet. I did not want to alert my mom but I was so broken hearted. It was her 70th birthday. I ordered balloons and she did not receive them. The order was rushed. I spent over $100 and they refunded me $3. The photos speak for themselves and I can provide a receipt if contacted. I ordered flowers at 8:30 am. All information was correct. My friend received the flowers at 8:30pm. The delivery was made to her side door. When confronted the delivery person said they needed to use her hose to fill it with water. The flowers do not look at all like the ones I ordered. Very disappointed! What is the $28 service fee for if your service is so terrible. Don't promise what you can't deliver! Buyer Beware! I do not recommend!

I ordered the Floral Harmony bouquet. Paid almost $90. What was delivered was a farce. They offered to redeliver...no. Partial refund or have the flowers sent back for full...like that is an option. "hey, they're coming to pick those up, so sorry." Not an option. It was supposed to be full of red roses and a large beautiful bouquet. they delivered a small, not even close to what I ordered, arrangement in a vase with two roses and a handful of cheap filler flowers. Saw on their website that they offered SAME DAY DELIVERY IN FARGO, ND, so I jumped on it and ordered a nice bouquet of roses for my wife on the morning of Feb 13. She never received the flowers so I checked my order and there was a note saying they changed it to flex delivery (2-day) which is fine, thinking she'd get the flowers on Valentine's Day. She never did. So I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I received a call a day later asking if I wanted them delivered the following Tuesday. I said I wanted a refund. The lady gave me a refund of $20 and a 30% coupon so I agreed for a late delivery.
The bouquet was delivered but was ONLY roses without any filler and they were in rough shape (not at all what I originally ordered). They never fully opened and died shortly after. The coupon she gave me expired that same day at 7pm. It was the first Valentine's Day in 24 years my wife didn't get flowers on the day. Very disappointing service. I hope no one else goes through this.

When you tell them your order was never delivered, they send an automatic email saying they are putting a trace on it and will get back to you- but they never do. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We reported the charges as fraud to our credit card company.

I ordered flowers for a friend for next-day delivery. I picked a $52 arrangement. Then there’s a $25 “service fee”! After ordering, I immediately received multiple automated contacts labeled Urgent. Could not determine the issue so canceled my order. Then I got a call saying they needed to “substitute” some flowers. Was assured there would be premium flowers including lilies and roses, so I allowed it. Found out when I saw the bill they had downgraded my order to Designer Choice without refund. Flowers received had 1 Lily, no roses, no ribbon and barely half the flowers I expected from the picture. Had to fight to get some money back. Pictures show what was received vs what was ordered.

I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed and appalled with the product received by this company. I order a basket with plants, a few sprigs of flowers in it with a card that addressed by sympathy to the recipient who had just lost their loved one. The driver walked up and handed the recipient the plant and said, "here" and nothing else. The card read "Love Teri" in poor handwriting. The plant was nothing like what I ordered, not even close. It had dead leaves at the bottom in the pot and it looked like a weed. I paid 86.00 for what you see in the picture. This was supposed to be a sympathy plant. I was embarrassed and appalled by what was sent. Although the company did refund my money very quickly, I feel like this was a scam. How many people are they doing this to? I would never use this company again. I wish I would have checked the reviews before I ordered. The first two pics are what was received and the last is what I ordered.

I ordered online for a certain price and style. AFTER the purchase goes through, I am blindsided by the invoice adding a service fee of $24.95 tacked on. No mention of it beforehand. When I see it I ask to cancel the order. No response. I go back to the website looking for info on this service charge and it's a general list of factors that don't apply to my order. I did not ask for any specific add on. The charge was NOT on my summary before checkout. Don't use these crooks.

This is a horrible company that represents online that it is a local florist. It is not. They called to say they could not fill my order for roses and would make substitutions. Their representative would not listen to me. It took 20 minutes on the phone to cancel the order. I am in Boston. The flowers were ordered for Western Massachusetts. They were in Delaware. When I finally got them off the phone and the order was canceled I called a local florist who told me that they are a total scam. Somehow they end up in search as being in random cities and towns. I ordered flowers yesterday to be delivered to a mother on the 1st anniversary of her son's death. I paid almost $90 for the arrangement, which I had viewed ahead of time, and I specified the color of bow I wanted, etc. What was received was an arrangement that was about 1/2 the size of what I had previewed ~ and the bow color wasn't even correct! I read the substitution policy about their need to sometimes substitute or switch out flowers, which I totally understand, but I didn't realize that meant they would substitute the flowers they didn't have with NOTHING!
Then when I checked my invoice online, it showed this arrangement to be an approximately $40 arrangement ~ not at all what I had ordered. Plus, I was charged for a little tiny card and a bow ~ that wasn't the correct color! I really wanted this arrangement to be special due to the nature of the occasion. I went on the website to tell them about my concerns, but I was only allowed to type about 110 letters - then it cut me off. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed!

I purchased flowers for my older sister who lives on the opposite coast. I bought the large She's got style She's got grace design. I paid over 120 dollars for this arrangement. It was sent from a florist called OAK CREEK FLORIST in Concord, CA, an affiliate of AVA'S FLOWERS. The flowers were NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING like the design I ordered. They were fresh and pretty and mostly greenery - AWFUL. My sister was happy that I sent a gift but had no idea why I was unhappy that her flowers were NOT what was ordered.
I called customer service over and over before actually talking to a person - they say they will call you back but DO NOT. The young man I talked with was very nice. They wanted to give the original florist another chance to fix it and I said no. If the original florist had the flowers and or the skill to make the arrangement it would have been done correctly the first time. He assured me - after talking to his supervisor - that they would use another florist and have the correct flower arrangement sent. He said the original florist may ask for their flowers back and I said ABSOLUTELY not. I was also assured she would have the correct arrangement delivered the next day. That would be today.
It is now 7:26 PM in California and no flowers have been delivered AT ALL. My sister found a voicemail on her phone that was the original florist asking to come and pick up their flowers. She did not respond. I am furious with Ava's for not doing as they said, for not having affiliates that are competent to make the arrangements on their site nor the competency to call a customer to tell them if they need to sub other flowers; but if you have to you sub with OTHER Flowers NOT a bunch of leaves. NEVER order from this company for any reason.

We refused the flowers and said Saturday was not valentines day. When trying to get a refund, they have been and still are impossible to get in contact with. The website customer support is just a vicious circle of non-contact! I receive an email saying they are trying to reach me and was the number they have the correct number. They however do not give me the number that say they are trying to reach so how would I know? The dialing there published number it does no good either! I have been ordering flowers for many years and have never had such a disaster of an experience. Not only was my girlfriend completely underwhelmed by the puny arrangement, it was not as pictured and far smaller and less colorful than the photo. I didn't even recognize that it was the same arrangement I had ordered. Needless to say, it was weak with a typed (not hand-written) note and for almost $100 I received a $15 bouquet. I do not recommend this company in the slightest.

I am extremely disappointed with Avas Flowers. I placed an order well in advance for a Valentine’s Day delivery, only to have it arrive 10 days before the actual holiday. To make matters worse, they didn’t even get the message right! They only included the first sentence of my lengthy note, completely missing the rest of my message. I will say upfront that after much calling and emails Avas Flowers did refund my money. Like many complaints, they took the order, took the money, said the order had been delivered - it wasn't, and then pointed me to their "policies" page stating they reserved the right to deliver ordered flowers up to 4 days after the contracted delivery date.
They list their services as if they are a local florist in many areas (in my case Burbank CA) - they are a company that takes orders (like Teleflora). They don't arrange or deliver anything. Their website is bot operated and you can't get a person to talk to. Bad service, bad attitude and I should have read all the negative reviews about them on line. I looked up "Burbank Florists" to get flowers for my daughter and it appeared as if they are a local Burbank florist, they aren't. Please do not use them for anything as it appears they almost never deliver as promised.

Avas will not address the issue, no call backs, my friend said the packaging was wrinkled and looked used, there was a knot in the ribbon that looked like they were trying to salvage a previously used piece and there was no water, food/freshener packet. Customer service keeps telling me it was delivered but after filling out the form it is perfectly clear that there is an item issue not a delivery issue. Very sad. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this company! First, the price. I ordered an arrangement that was supposed to be 69.99. After the “service fee”, and an additional 5.00 for a message on the “card’, my final bill was 117.00! The message on the card was not correct, which I edited on the website before delivery. I received a fake delivery confirmation, which I had to contact the company about. In addition to that, I requested special instruction which they did not follow. When I finally received the arrangement a day late it was nothing like what I ordered! It was much smaller, with flower that specifically asked them NOT to use because the recipient does not like that particular flower. I had ordered 2 dozen long stem red roses in a vase on Valentine's Day for my wife. What she received was 1 dozen short stemmed roses that were wilted and should've never been sent. Had a terrible experience. Purchased a bouquet for same-day delivering on Valentine’s Day. For a medium size bouquet with delivery the cost was $110. Pretty pricey, but was willing to pay it for same-day delivery. Made the purchase with the 14th being the delivery date and the purchase page said should be delivered by 7 PM. 7 PM comes and goes, no email, text, nor flowers. I reached out to the company about the delivery to be given a flexible delivery date policy, which was not highlighted during the purchase. It’s very misleading to advertise as being same-day delivery, but have a flexible delivery date policy. Not able to get my money back, because there’s also a no cancellation/refund policy when you buy within four days of a holiday.

Will never use again. Avasflowers.net accepted my order and took my money and then canceled, and their website and phone support sends you in a loop to try to get your refund coming. Their automated phone support schedules you for a callback, calls you back, and then leaves you on hold. What is the point of a callback if I am going to have to be on hold for 20+ minutes to speak to someone? I have used 1800Flowers successfully many times in the past and didn’t think anything about trying Avasflowers.net this time and I now see my mistake. Not only will I never use avasflowers.net again, my experience with them is such that I will actively encourage others to save themselves the trouble and go elsewhere for flower deliveries.

I ordered a beautiful Valentine's arrangement. Once I got to the payment page, it was about 25$ more expensive. When I hit back to see why the price increased, a screen popped up offering me a discount if I purchased soon bringing it back to original cost. After placing order, I was notified that they couldn't fulfill my order, but I could choose an "artist rendition" that would be similar in color and price point. When my flowers were delivered, I was mortified. It was not similar in ANY way- colors, shape, price point. It looked like someone had went to a grocery store, grabbed a bunch of flowers, and just stuck them in a vase. There was no arrangement to them. Most of the "arrangement" is greenery with only a few flowers that are not even open/blooming. I am 100% dissatisified and would caution everyone to avoid Avas Flowers.

It was ordered for my birthday a large bouquet in a pot, with a card at the cost of $ 100 and $ 5 extra for the card. I received a glass vase with approximately twelve flowers and the four pink carnations had brown edges upon receipt. The card was a piece of paper folded in four containing delivery information, not who it was from, where it was from, no order number and the care instructions was blank. Five dollars for that.
The sender inquired about the delivery and I forwarded him pictures. He advised that wasn’t what he ordered and wanted me to be happy on my birthday. Seeing the flowers, especially the brown edged carnations did not do the trick. It took three calls to straighten this out and Avas offered to send another bouquet, which was then Monday, my birthday was Sunday. They advised sometimes substitutions are made but in this case it was downsized a dozen flowers and to where it did not even contain a ribbon! Pictures upon request, **.

They were not able to deliver to the location and the recipient had to go pick them up. Paid a delivery charge but they were not delivered. I ordered 12 red roses, chocolates, and a teddy bear for my fiancé for Valentine's Day. When placing the order I was told it would be a Valentine's Day delivery. Although the flowers were sent a the before Valentine's Day, false advertising at its finest. Talking about false advertising, the photos of what I ordered compared to what I got was night and day, I genuinely thought it was some sort of joke or prank. The roses were less than half of what was shown in the website photos, the teddy bear was advertised as a medium sized brown bear with a red ribbon, and and love heart shaped gold box of chocolates, also with a red ribbon. What was delivered was a skinny and small PINK teddy bear with rainbow colours on it with the barcode and tag still attached onto it. The chocolate was a white box with a few chocolates, something you'd expect to be served as a treat in a prison.
When trying to contact ANYONE at Avas Flowers, you genuinely cannot connect and talk to a human. Their customer service number is a robot who has very limited options, and directs you back to their chat help on their website which is another robot who has even more limited options. I tried to contact their sales number, and it doesn't even ring. I then tried to ring the number that is deeply imbedded into their terms and conditions, which again went straight to voicemail, and you can't even leave a voicemail because it's too full of other complaints. No sort of reimbursement is done. Absolutely pathetic business, with even more pathetic customer service.
0/10 DON'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. You can't even leave a Google review as they removed the option after they got their family and friends to give it high star ratings, Which embarrassingly they advertise and show off on their website. Have a look at any other review websites. It is less than 1.1 star. I hope this family business gets all the lawsuits that they deserve and finally get shut down.

Avas advertised as same day delivery and it’s not true! We ordered flowers for sympathy and until now it’s 2:19 pm it has not been delivered. Funny thing is they texted “delivered” to the recipient but no flowers showed up at their doorstep. Customer service sucks as well! Do not use this flower shop.

I attempted to send flowers today through this company. My order would not go through after attempting with 2 different cards. I am so glad I didn't try again with debit card. I called my bank to check on my cards and there was nothing wrong with my cards. I checked to see if any transactions processed and there weren't any. Will now check again tomorrow. I did think it was strange you cannot get anywhere with their chat service.

I ordered from Avas Florist in New Port Richey which I thought was a local florist. The picture advertised is nothing like what was received. I understand they have a substitution policy, but for what charged is not nearly what it was worth. The rep kept stating the substitution policy and I told her it was the quality that was not provided - once I advised I would be reporting she offered 10.00 credit on an 84 dollar charge. However, I would NOT recommend this florist and not sure how they stay in business if this the quality they provide. Flowers ordered on left "She's got Style, She's got Grace" and on the right is what was received, no style or grace!

Avoid at all costs! Scam! They take your money and don’t get back to you. Their customer service is a joke. Everyone you avoid purchasing from this company. They make it so hard to contact them too all to try and make it as hard as possible to get your refund.

Ordered a nice colorful flower arrangement for my sister's B-Day last week. On Monday I received a text that they could not full fill my order. They offered no colorful arrangements only drab ones. They never delivered that one either the next day. Several years ago one of my other sisters ordered flowers to be delivered in Dayton - and you guessed it. The same thing happen to her. Yup, sorry AVAS you are running a CON!
