I placed an order with Avas Flowers 3 weeks ahead of time of delivery. Delivery never occurred. I phoned and spoke with Michelle who was very apologetic and stated there was a "glitch" in computer system and my order didn't go through (and I did the order over the phone with a Live agent!) She assured me of a re-delivery and a little something extra beside to apologize for the error. This was for my friend's special 60th birthday. I chose Avas because they specifically advertised they delivered to my friend's place of work among other local businesses and schools in Worcester, MA. Only now finding out they aren't even located in MA at all!! The RE-DELIVERY NEVER HAPPENED EITHER!

I now need to attempt to get a refund and from reading other reviews here doesn't look promising. Very unhappy and very sad couldn't give my friend a nice surprise floral arrangement on her special day, and I live 3,000 miles apart, so now she didn't get a gift from me at all. Guess I will have to check out Consumer Affairs site before using any On-Line companies again!!

When I placed the order, I specified that it HAD to be delivered on Friday by noon. I was assured that it would be. It was not. It didn't get there until after 4:00 PM. The doctor that it was going to was leaving at noon, and she is moving to another practice. I STILL don't know if she ever received the flowers. I am extremely disappointed in the service - not at all what I expected for a $137 order!!

First of all, the website advertises this as a "local" company... They are not. It is a call center. I ordered a bouquet to be sent to a friend at school (she is a teacher). I placed the order by 10 am and was assured "same day delivery" by 3 pm. I then received urgent emails and phone calls (over and over) starting at 2:40 pm to notify me that they had been unable to locate a florist to complete the arrangement and delivery. I requested a refund. The customer service agent (who had extremely poor English) told me that was not possible and offered to send the arrangement the next day. I told him, "No, she was having a bad day TODAY, and will not need the arrangement tomorrow. I want a refund."

He then tried to get me to give him her home address to be delivered that evening. I asked how he planned on locating a local florist (who close between 4 and 5 pm) to do the delivery if they had not been able to locate one all day. He stuttered with that question and then offered me a discount on my next order. I became furious at this point and told him (again) that I wanted a refund. He put me on hold.

I explained that no delivery attempt had been made and that per their company's policy, I (the customer) had the right to request a full refund. He then put me on hold again (for 5 minutes) and came back telling me I would receive a refund in 5-7 business days and a confirmation email of a refund within 24-48 hours. Needless to say, I never received either. I am, however, still receiving daily emails and phone calls trying to coerce me into still sending the arrangement, in lieu of giving me a refund! I am filing a complaint with my credit card company today and looking into any other measures available for my rights as a consumer in regards to this company. This is FRAUD!!!

I placed an order for my grandpa who was hospitalized out of state which was delivered on 3/8. I received a picture of the flowers from a family member that was visiting on 3/11. If I lived local I could have bought a nicer bouquet from the grocery store. Honestly, nothing like what I ordered! I also received a follow-up email on 3/11 from Avas flowers to which I responded to with pictures of what I ordered and what was delivered... did not hear anything back. I sent another email on 3/17 and then again on 4/6, neither of which was responded to. I ended up leaving negative feedback on Trustpilot and received a reply from Trustpilot stating that Avas disputed that I was actually a customer.

After providing my receipt Trustpilot reposted my feedback and only then was I contacted by Avas. After several emails and a couple of phone calls they offered me a 10% refund. I found this offer insulting. I told Avas to keep their money that I would rather share my story on social media in an effort to save someone else the aggravation and disappointment. My grandpa passed a couple weeks later and I ordered flowers from 1-800-flowers for my grandma. They were beautiful!!!

My husband ordered the Easter Tulips & Irises Deluxe Bouquet & had flowers delivered to our home. We were having friends over for an elegant dinner in a few hours & wanted purple Irises & yellow Tulips... When he walked into the room with the bouquet I immediately noticed NO Irises!!! The flower arrangement also looked like it was just thrown together & very few flowers for the amount we paid. So I went into my garden & cut what few flowers the cold snap did not get & made mini flower arrangements for our dinner party! Will NEVER order flowers here again!!!

I ordered flowers for a funeral and when I attended the funeral my flowers were not there. Afterwards I contacted them and they said they would redeliver. Redeliver to a funeral that had done passed? I had already been embarrassed that all had seen that I hadn't sent any flowers, but I said okay to redeliver to the family's home instead. Well they never showed up there either. After several call, hours on hold and getting the runaround, I think I am going to get a refund. I'm still not sure. What a horrible experience with this company and at a most vulnerable moment. How did they get such a good rating? Do not use this company!

Ordered flowers at 11:48 am for same day delivery. Received an email at 2:31 pm stating that the flowers had been delivered. When I contacted my wife to see how they were, she told me she had not received anything. I called and spoke with someone who had stated that sometimes the delivery confirmations were sent prior to deliveries being made and that I should wait an hour. I received a call stating that the flowers were delivered to another address. I requested a refund, as I paid $61.93 for a service that was not delivered. I spent 43 minutes on hold waiting to speak with a manager, as the people I was dealing with were not understanding that a refund should be issued due to lack of delivery.

I called again and spoke with a "floor manager" whom did not understand that in the company's own terms and conditions on the website state that "In the event that no delivery attempt was made and the order was not delivered on the requested delivery date, we will offer the customer (i) a re-delivery attempt; (ii) a credit towards the purchase of Products; (iii) a full refund, at the Customer's option." After 19 minutes of explaining that I was indeed due a refund, he put me on hold and finally issued a refund. All told, it took roughly an hour and a half of my day. Never again. I was pleased that a refund was finally issued, but the amount of attempted bartering was ridiculous - 10% off the next order, "beautiful extra roses" in the order already botched. By the end, I felt sorry for these phone bank operators with heavy accents and little experience. Not worth the time or frustration.

Ordered from Avas Flowers because they said they were local, looked local when I was ordering. I had a very specific arrangement I had picked. I left the house after the order was placed and my phone started ringing. The first call was that they didn't have the flowers I had chosen and they wanted to substitute. They said they would upgrade the order to the largest flower size. I had picked the medium size. Because I was no longer in front of my computer I had to deal with this situation. This was a Friday and supposed to be delivered that same day. I agreed to the different style flowers.

About 30 min later, I'm still away from home, can't get in front of a computer for hours, I get the call that they can't deliver them until Saturday. So I gave in. Then about 30 min after that, I got another call that they couldn't be delivered until Monday. Ridiculous. The online options for flower deliveries all look like they are local and clearly are not. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!! If it would allow me to give 0 stars that would be what I would give them. FLIM FLAM operation.

Ordered flowers for my brother’s funeral. Ordered a large cross of red and white roses, they never called to change order. Did not get what I ordered. They sent some cheap mums with 5 red roses. I had given a list of my children and their family and husband and I to go on card. Floral card had no name on it. This is after 20 min. spelling all the names. Therefore I had no floral for my brother’s funeral. I ordered red and white roses because it was his favorite flower. They act like my brother will have another funeral and they can try again. They quoted me $133.00. My card was charged $262.90. So embarrassing not to have flower for my brother’s funeral. They wanted credit $20.00 for the difference in flowers, what a joke of a company.

There should be an option for less than one star... We placed a flower order to be delivered the next day. We did not get a copy of the order placed, as promised, so I called on the delivery date. The new sales lady said our original order was ready to go and provided a price higher than we were quoted, and for a smaller arrangement. We ordered their Deluxe display. Getting nowhere with her, I asked for a supervisor to talk to. She claimed the order was for a small size as well, a card, and the NEVER-mentioned SERVICE FEE of $13.95. Even then, the total order did not match the quoted order. AvasFlowers supervisor offered us $10 off our next order, but we would still need to pay the Service Fee on this order.

After recognizing the Bait-and-Switch process, we doubted we would ever reorder from them. We declined and asked for a refund. They asked if they could call us back in 1 hour as they wanted to speak to the agent that sold to us. We agreed to wait. They called back in about 10 minutes and claimed they listened to the tape of the original sale and that our order was for a small display. (We surmised that they searched for our original order based on our phone or order number.) They couldn't have listened to the entire tape as our original order conversation lasted longer than it took to call us back. My wife & I wrote down details and read them back at the end of our original order.

We doubt that Avas was able to contact the original seller and discuss any details in such a short time. Rather than lose us as customers and risk a bad, but honest, review, they chose to refund our money, which is $5 less than their originally quoted price, but $20 short of what they wanted to charge us. All we asked them to do was to honor the original price quote. Instead, all we got was frustration on our part, and their apologies, which really doesn't cut the mustard.

I paid for the deluxe at 54.99 plus a balloon for 7.00 and handling for 14.00. My daughter received a vase of daisies and some carnations and not what I paid for. I've tried talking to them 3 times and they haven't called me back. I have emailed them twice and given them ample time to respond. I want a refund. This was for my daughter's birthday!

They don't even deserve 1 star. I ordered 30 tulips for $69.95 for my sister's bday. She only received 12 tulips that will not last longer than one or maybe 2 days. At first they said they couldn't do anything about it because 'the Invoice is not stating how many tulips were ordered'. Well I'm not the one who wrote the Invoice so nice try. They don't write a detailed invoice so they can cover their behinds if you complain. After 25 minutes on the phone, a supervisor wanted to first pick up the flowers (the next day) and then issue a credit which will take at least 10 days to process. Nice try again! I simply called Amex to dispute the charge. Never, ever trust this company. They rely on the fact that usually people receiving the Flowers say thank you to the sender without going into the description of the flowers and that's how they get away with stealing but they got busted this time. I should have looked at the poor reviews before I ordered.

I spent several hours going back and forth with emails as they tried to convince me the order was delivered before the service, even though their email states otherwise. I ordered tulips for a friend. I ordered the "Premium" bouquet, which promised 25 stems. She received a bouquet with about 10-11 stems and filler. The photo had ONLY tulips in the bouquet, which is why I chose Ava's. The arrangement was definitely NOT what was promised. This is deceitful marketing. It was advertised for $69.99. With all "service" charges, etc. (they said they do not charge for delivery), my total was $92.92. I called yesterday and spoke to a customer rep. After about 25-30 min of explaining the mistake, waiting on hold, etc., I sent a photo of what was delivered.

Today, I spoke with yet ANOTHER representative, at which point I asked to speak with a manager. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes, I spoke with now a 3rd person, who said she was a manager. After explaining what I had ordered and what had been delivered (for the third time), I was told that they would deliver the remainder of the tulips. I said that this was unsatisfactory and that I wanted the ORIGINAL order, as promised (25 stems of tulips), delivered all together.

She finally agreed to do this (after being put on hold numerous times to talk to their floral designers, etc. ), BUT ONLY AFTER GOING TO PICK UP THE ORIGINAL BOUQUET. So, I had to call my friend who received the flowers and tell her they were going to pick up the first bouquet from her before they deliver the correct one. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DO NOT recommend using this florist. EVER. Unless you enjoy the adage "the customer is always wrong" and wasting your time and money.

I ordered a premium flower arrangement for my sister in-law's father's funeral. The price, including delivery, was $90.00. The arrangement was not even close to what I ordered. The company called me to let me know they did not have all the flowers, so I told them to do something comparable. They used cheap flowers and still charged me premium price. When I called the company to complain, they offered me a 10% discount. The arrangement was below standard quality and the price should have reflected such. They charged me full price for a product that was not premium quality. The local florist said they filled the order with less than premium quality flowers, so wouldn't you think, I would have been given a discount? Or charged accordingly for the quality of flowers used? Never will I use this flower service again.

The flower arrangement options online have a sharp discount. However, the 'handling fees' made the $39.99 flower arrangement slightly more than the privately owned florist in the delivery town. Further, I had to speak with 3 customer service agents before getting my order cancelled. The 1st two put me on hold; followed by a recording asking for a callback number; after entering my number I heard "No callbacks are available". Then, I heard the survey which would not accept negative responses. (Hmm.) I might have ordered from them again, but not after this. I have NO confidence in this organization. I'd rather sit through a timeshare offer than deal with these people again.

My California-based boyfriend found this company when he searched for florists in my home city of Bridgeport, CT. He ordered an arrangement of sunflowers for our anniversary and had them delivered to my home. When they arrived on Wednesday a couple of the stems were a bit wilted and the head were curled into tight balls (which I assumed was from the protective mesh sleeves used for shipping). I trimmed the ends and put them in water, assuming that they just needed a little time to perk up.

When I got home on Thursday evening, 4 of the 12 stems were wilted and the heads were still tight balls. I called the customer service number to make a complaint. I spoke with a woman based out of a call center who said that she would arrange to have a replacement delivery made on Friday, but said I would need to give the old flowers back. I changed the delivery address to my office and told her that the delivery had to be made by 4:45. At 4:30 Friday I called the company to find out where my delivery was. After spending the better part of 20 minutes on hold, I was told that they weren't able to deliver on Friday but would definitely do so on Saturday. Saturday came and went, still no flowers. My boyfriend said he would call them today to get a refund, but I told him about the reviews I read on this site and the experiences people had, so now he intends to just handle it with his bank instead. He said it was around corner and be delivered shortly. 2 hrs later my mother said still not there. Called again, spoke with guy who called delivery truck and was going to be there in a hour. Mother told me still not there at 5.

Husband called Ava's and was mad. They were apologetic and offered a 10% coupon to be used by Mother's Day. My husband said we would never use them again. After he asked for full refund she said "I can't do that but I can give you 20%" which they didn't! So still waiting for 9.99 delivery charge back and 20% back. They sent a text that it was delivered at 4:11 pm. We called my mother who said no and finally at 5:17 pm delivered. The flowers were not same as picture; I even called people who delivered and they told me how awful online flower companies are and lie about flowers and upcharge. She said "call local flower shop".

I ordered flowers for my daughter who was having surgery yesterday. I asked for a 50.00 arrangement and that her favorite color is purple. After going over everything I was told the arrangement would be 50.00 plus 23.00 for the vase and taxes. I said that was fine and was looking forward to an amazing arrangement. As you can see below is what 73.00 gets you, I was not impressed. Will never use them again. I was also never emailed a receipt or confirmation that it was delivered.

I recently (March 4, 2017) ordered a "Birthday Bouquet" product code BC-X from the Avas Flowers website. I'm in Australia and the flowers were going to Pismo Beach Ca. USA. This particular bouquet included a vase with colourful ribbons and a little Happy Birthday banner sticking out the top. It was a colourful bouquet at a good price.

Unfortunately the bouquet that was delivered was so completely different my first thought was there must have been a mix-up in the delivery and someone else received our flowers. The bouquet that arrived was nice enough and my sister was still surprised and happy to receive flowers, but it wasn't even remotely what we ordered. I've tried several times to communicate with Avas Flowers but I'm only getting the standard email replies that so many other on this site have described. I haven't received any offer of partial compensation.

I won't be using Avas Flowers again because it appears the floral bouquet examples on their website are totally misleading and they cannot/will not guarantee you will get what you order. They have a disclaimer in the T & Cs that effectively gives the florist license to do whatever they want. The Customer Service amounts to no more than lip service with no intention of actually resolving the problem to your satisfaction.

The third time the guy said it would be delivered Monday before noon and it would be upgraded. It still never got delivered even though they sent me a confirmation saying it had been. I called again and they wanted it to be delivered Wednesday. I said, "This is for someone in the hospital that may be discharged by then." So he schedules it for Tuesday and offers me $20 store credit. I asked if they could just add $20 worth to her order and he says no. I ask for $20 refund and he says no. I said, "I don't want store credit because I'm never using this company again." When she finally gets it, it IS NOT what I ordered and from the looks of it worth less than what I ordered.

It was a sympathy arrangement for my dear, departed brother from me and my family. I placed my order 4 days ahead and asked for delivery by 12 Noon; it was not delivered to the funeral home until 4 PM. This is inexcusable. I picked them because of their proximity to the funeral home and good reviews (guess I didn't check well enough). It was not only embarrassing but extremely upsetting for me at a time when I was already stressed. AND, I picked that particular arrangement because of the COLOR – peach, and the BASKET – the fireside basket. The name of the arrangement is Peach and White Sympathy Fireside Basket. There were NO peach flowers in the arrangement; it was primarily white with just a few ORANGE flowers and an ORANGE ribbon, and the basket was an ordinary basket, NOT a fireside basket.

The bouquet was full and the flowers were fresh but that did not make up for the other expectations I had or money I paid. I called their store at 3:15 from the funeral home the date of the scheduled delivery and the person I talked to could not even tell me WHEN the arrangement would be delivered!!! It was a funeral; nothing can be done to make up for the disappointment I feel. Obviously, I would not order flowers from them again.

I placed a "same day" order yesterday (3/4). The online form stated that there was a flex time guaranteed delivery. The flowers would arrive on 3/4 or 3/5 (as the max late delivery). I received a confirmation of this in my email. It was for my mom's birthday and she's leaving town on Tuesday. I wanted her to have a few days to enjoy the flowers before she left town. I received a confirmation today (3/5) with information to track my delivery. When I looked into the account it showed that they were not going to be delivered today but rather tomorrow 3/6. I called customer service immediately.

The first representative said she would call the flower shop and then returned to the line stating the shop is closed today so there's no way they could be delivered. She told me my options were to cancel the order completely or have them delivered tomorrow. Her English was incredibly broken and I had a hard time understanding her. I finally asked for a supervisor. After a long wait, a Supervisor came on the line and told me the exact same thing. However, she tried to say that they have the right to deliver until January 6th. I assume she meant March but she kept saying January. She clearly had no idea when I placed the order and kept mentioning wrong dates and said there's nothing she can do because the shop is closed. I told her I would like a full refund or at least a partial refund because they failed to deliver on time. She said that was not possible.

She said if we deliver flowers on any day (regardless of what they promised) they'd charge me the full price. They clearly had one script to follow and very little to no knowledge of the business or floral industry. She refused to acknowledge anything I was saying. This place is more like a call center and not a business. If I could give them zero stars I would. It's one thing to make a legitimate mistake (those happen), it's another to completely refuse to take ownership and to try to make it right.

They're overpriced, upsell you ($2.50 for a card to write your message?!) and they are absolutely unwilling to make any changes. Their site says you can cancel if your delivery is two days out (mine was). They just grind you down by putting you on hold and then telling you they're taking care of it and will send you an email (you never get one). They're such bottom feeders as much of their business is for funerals. Buyer beware!

I placed the order 0730 East Coast Time, to be delivered by 1300 West Coast Time, plenty of time to be delivered and to contact me if there were any complications. My daughter received the arrangement... not even close what I ordered and no sunflowers, her favorite. So, I call them and ask for a refund. I was told there were no sunflowers available even though they're advertising them on their website (and still are).

No refund but instead they apologize, call my daughter and apologize and offer to send a dozen of sunflowers as compensation. Great!! Until... the sunflowers arrive. All dead. Every single one. I have never been so mortified. I called them back, they again apologized and offered another arrangement to avoid the refund. No way. I have been fighting them, they have given me only 50% of my money back and offered $20 store credit. I was told I cannot get a full refund because she kept the flowers. When I was able to, everything was to be updated and flowers redelivered. That did not happen. I called again, and when I got hold of someone, I let them know that I wished to cancel the order, at which time I was told that I would refunded my money minus $32 for attempted delivery.

At that point, not wanting to lose my money, I asked for an attempted reschedule. I was then told that the flowers, with an upgrade, will be delivered the very next day. This time, I took the person's name and extension. Again, no flowers! I called again. The order number was under a different name. They could not find the order under my last name. Only after taking down the last 4 of my credit card number were they able to find the order.

Then I was told that the delivery was due to be made tomorrow (9 days after the original deliver). I gave the previous person's name and extension to the person who last answered the customer service call. They did not transfer me. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, which did not happen. I was finally given a tracking number with UPS, and told it would be delivered today!! I am beside myself at this point. If no flowers are received today, I plan to take it up with my credit card company. I will never order from them again!

This was a Friday delivery so no big issue... that's what I thought... I received a confirmation message on Friday that the flowers were delivered. By the way, I paid USD 80 for this (it said free delivery but then they charge you a service charge of $10 yeah, so no free delivery just relabel.)... Well, when I called my Mother-in-Law if she liked the Orchid she told me it was never delivered... After many very angry phone calls (initially Avas Flowers claimed they could not find my order number in their system!). Finally the next day (Saturday) an orchid was delivered but without the $4 birthday card I had paid for (of course, that would be too good to be true).

Never again, please my recommendation would be to phone a truly local florist direct. Avas Flowers is just a service that will contact local flower shops and makes arrangements with them. Much better to do this yourself and cut out the 'broker' as this was an absolute disaster particularly when you are relying on a service whilst trying to do something nice for a family member on a special day!

HORRIBLE FLORIST. If I could rate them a zero or lower, I would. On 1/11 I ordered 16 pink roses to be delivered to my granddaughter for her Sweet 16 which was two weeks later. From the arrangement that arrived, it looked as if they'd purchased the flowers at the time I ordered them... and sent out the same (now dead) flowers. I paid for 18, but requested only 16 be used and to please add some baby's breath in lieu of the other 2 roses. Nothing. No filler, no bow... just dead flowers thrown in a vase. In fact, from the photo it looks like there aren't even a full dozen... much less 16.

As a former florist I have to say that I would have never sent out anything that looked like this. Totally amateur. My son sent a photo when the arrangement arrived and I was horrified. Roses heads were all hanging and flowers were all bruised. I sent them the photo, as requested, and have had nothing but a runaround ever since. Guess I have no recourse except to dispute it with my credit card company... which I certainly intend to do. And they can take the store credit for a whole $10 (on an over $100 order) and stick it. I will never order anything from them again. Apparently, though, it does no good to complain since I see hundreds of dissatisfied customers writing reviews of similar experiences... and to what avail? They're still in business which is a disgrace to the floral industry! Do not use this florist... EVER!

When I contacted Avas Flowers to complain, I was told they could offer me a $10 refund and a store credit. I explained I don’t want store credit as I will never shop with Avas again and I think a $10 refund for having sent a completely different product is insulting. When I asked for a larger or full refund, the rep told me the local floral designer had called my friend and she said she loved the flowers. What? You called my friend? I’m the one who complained; it’s not as if I told my friend she got the wrong flowers. The rep said if he gave me a full refund they’d have to go pick up the flowers. You would take a bouquet of flowers away from my homebound friend as she sat in her wheelchair? Good lord, people.

The rep then escalated my call to a manager who offered me a $15 refund. She said their flower expert had reviewed the pictures and the flowers sent to my friend were of a higher quality and worth more money. Even if that were true, what was sent was not what I ordered and if my friend hadn’t sent a picture of the bouquet, I never would have known. As this was my 3rd call and had taken an hour of my time, I had to move on with my life and I took the $15 refund. Ridiculous.

We I told the gentleman "no, I have my email stating otherwise." He said "wait I'm looking at wrong order."

He then said the delivery driver was unavailable to reach but that the flowers would be at the funeral home on the 21st early for the service, which was from 2-4. Well, they never updated the delivery status that morning so I called 5 times and each time they put me on hold and then eventually hung up on me. Worst experience ever. And now my friend's fiance never got the beautiful white carnations I wanted her to have because her mom loved carnations. They say they are local... LIE!!! They say they deliver anywhere in USA in 24 hrs... LIE!!! They should be out of business!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I called on a Monday and specifically ask if they could deliver at the address I wanted. I was told "yes" numerous times. I then picked out the Yellow sympathy vase for a funeral on their website to be delivered on Friday by 4:00 pm. At noon on Friday they sent me a text message marked "urgent." I called and had a difficult time understanding the gentleman on the other end because he did not speak English. I was told that they were out of lilies and wanted to substitute for different flowers. I said yes. I received another text message two hours later marked "Urgent."

I called and they informed me that they were out of yellow roses and wanted to substitute. Again I said yes. This happened 4 times on Friday. At 5:00 pm I received another message marked "urgent." They told me at 5:00 pm on Friday evening that they could not deliver my flowers because they did not deliver at the address I had requested. By this time it was too late to order any flowers for the funeral I was attending. My question is exactly what kind of good florist doesn't have lilies and roses and why wait until it was too late to inform me that they could not deliver as promised? I got a sorry from the manager. I cancelled my order but have not gotten a credit on my card yet. This business is badly operated and managed. Do not use this florist. Call a reputable florist!!!

I ordered a gift basket for a friend. The basket was to contain a variety of fruit, crackers, cheese, pkg of coffee, shortbread, smoked beef, jam, cookies. I was surprised to see that very little was delivered. But the worst part was the presentation: the basket was old and dirty and was filled with old plastic grocery bags. The charge on my credit card was $91.94. After my complaint, Avas offered me a $30 credit for my next order but I insisted that they send a replacement. The replacement basket contained: 4 apples, 3 oranges, 3 pears, crackers, a spoon containing chocolate and 4 bite size chocolates (hardly worth $91.94).

They went downstairs to their concierge service few times and been told that it was no flowers delivery at all throughout the day. I called the Avas Flowers, after being on hold for a while and pressing bunch of different numbers finally was able to talk to operator. He put me on hold again and said that he is trying to reach their flowers designer to see whats going on. I was on hold for about 7 min. After that he got back to me and told me that he is not able to get ahold of them. That someone will call me back shortly.

In about an hour I called them again since no one called me. It was the same story. By 7 pm I called them again and operator did the same trick as previous 2. They put me on hold, and then told me that mysterious "flower designer" is not answering. I asked the operator to connect me to supervisor. Was placed on hold for awhile, and after 15 minutes my call was disconnected. I called my credit card and stop payment. Moral of the story: if you want your flowers NOT to be delivered, and you love to spending time on HOLD while they are searching for mysterious "flower designer" then Avas Flowers is for you.

The runaround to get through to a live person was horrific. No one would help. I spoke with 8 different people, several multiple times. Not My department, then they transferred me to a "help department" which never answered the phone. I estimate I was on the phone more than 3 hours trying to get help. I guess there are no supervisors at all because I was again forced to leave a callback number, which I did. I paid almost $130 for a premium (the largest one they offer) pink and purple bouquet of flowers, along with a greeting card, a medium teddy bear, 3 red latex balloons and a get well Mylar balloon. What was delivered was absolutely pathetic. There was about a 12 inch tall bouquet of flowers, along with a SMALL teddy bear, NO GREETING CARD, NO BALLOONS (NO RED OR MYLAR BALLOONS). Not to mention the horrible horrible customer service that they have.

They all REFUSE to get you to a supervisor, they say they are as high up in the company as my complaint will go. Even though on their website it clearly states that they will give a refund if you are unhappy. Which is more than unhappy. I am angry for such blatant false advertisement and disrespect from customer service and they also state that you can get a refund if there was a partial delivery. Which there was.

I will take this to every social media site you can imagine. I work for reputation management and I know how to make this situation go viral. Not to mention my sister that works for a news channel who monthly does a segment on scams from internet companies and how they rip you off. She has already agreed to air this piece. I have photos and pictures of everything that I purchased and what was actually delivered. So feel free to contact me with your refund if you care. Which I do not believe that you do. I have spoken to your "supervisors" a few I didn't get their name but all refused to help and refused to get me to someone higher. Names were: Carmen & Heidi at ext. ** & Dorothy who has never returned any of my calls as promised. I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers in Morgantown, WV after a death in the family and what was received was not anywhere remotely close to what was ordered. I had asked for a fireplace basket with at least a dozen, assorted colored roses, 2 candles, a little bit of greenery and filler flowers to make the arrangement full. I was quoted a price of over $100 and reiterated several times that I wanted at least a dozen roses and was assured they would prepare a beautiful arrangement for the occasion. I did not see the flowers until 2 days after as I live in a different state several hours away. The arrangement was in a basket but it only contained 5 fully bloomed roses (all red), a few filler flowers and the rest was greenery which looked like huge palms and the arrangement did not contain any candles.

After completing their survey I was asked to send a picture and received a reply that the arrangement was represented according to the receipt and therefore met the Product Description as well as their Substitution Policy. I wish someone could explain how 5 red roses and zero candles are a substitute for "a dozen assorted color roses and 2 candles." And, why did they need to substitute if that was case. Surely the florist had 12 assorted colored roses. There was also a mix up and another arrangement was delivered at the same time incorrectly and the grieving family and myself had to endure numerous phone calls to try to get it straightened out with no apology from Avas for their mistake. I hope my review saves another grieving person their time and money. I would not have given one star if it had not of been required.

When a family member passed away, I wanted to order flowers for the funeral. On August 5, 2016, I ordered two sets of floral arrangements from a florist I located online that advertised "Same Day Flower Delivery" in the same county as the funeral. Since the funeral was not until August 8, 2016, and I was assured by a customer representative named "Mayra" that the flowers would be on-time for the morning service. I expected all would go well with delivery, but it did not. The morning of the funeral, I was outside the church several times calling Avas Flowers trying to ascertain where the delivery was and to be certain the flowers would arrive on-time. Each time I was told that they were "on the way". However, no flowers when the service started and no flowers during the service.

Those flowers did not arrive until AFTER the body was loaded back into the hearse and on its way to the cemetery! To wit, the flowers and the attached cards were sitting in the back of a near empty church AFTER the service was over. I was disgusted! I paid $243.93 and $85.03 respectively for each one of the floral arrangements I ordered, and when I asked them about a refund, they said that they don't refund, but as compensation, this company would offer me a discount on the next set of flowers I bought. The nerve! What in goodness name would they think would possess me to order from them again after this first time customer buy had been a disaster??

The order numbers are ** and I will NEVER order from or recommend them to anyone ever again, and I feel it only right that I inform the paying public about their horrible service and lack of professional behavior. The customer service representatives I spoke with on the phone informed me that they could not reach the drivers once they left the business location, so how exactly were they to track my order?? No cell phone? No walkie talkie device? Needless to say this situation totally ruined my ability to rest flowers from the family on the family member's grave that day and cost me more to get more flowers due to the distance of the gravesite.

The only appeasement I would accept is a full refund from this company. I was so upset by this that it took me weeks to finally write this review, looking into possible methods of recourse. The false advertising is what upsets me - "Same Day Flower Delivery" indeed! I was on the phone with a live representative so many times, so why couldn't they just be honest in the first place, admit they couldn't meet the deadline, and offer me a refund? It seems to me they want your money so badly that they'd lie to a customer to get it. Very disappointed!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company creates the image that they would be competent and they are very good in selling things they never deliver. They are not even able to confirm what they delivered. Basically they have no idea what they are doing and the so-called customer service is either not available, incompetent or not able to provide any details.

We ordered a specific wreath with a dedicated banner for a funeral. Several hours after we placed the order we received an email telling us that we should call back. It turned out the company was not able to deliver although a local company advertised the same product on their web page. When I called back they first tried to come up with excuses that the order was not placed 4 days before although it was advertised as "same day delivery product" and was ordered 36 hours before the funeral. We then agreed to change the product under the condition of proof by a picture to something similar they "were sure" to be able to deliver. But even several hours after the funeral we did not receive any notice nor picture and the online "order and delivery status" did not confirm that the wreath was delivered.

Calling the so-called customer service was useless as they did not even know whether wreath had been delivered and whether the banner we had ordered had been attached. There are always excuses and you always talk to a different call center agent, but there never was any useful information. What a miserable experience!! Several hours after the funeral we still do not know what we paid for!!

There was an extra service charge besides a delivery charge, so that should have made me stop the order right there. I ordered early enough to get same day delivery. I then received an email that the plant was delivered. It was not actually delivered until the next day, over 24 hours later. The plant arrived with the blooms brown and wilted. My Aunt mentioned it to the delivery person, who just shrugged and was like "oh well."

I then received an email to rate their service and said the same things I said here. I later received an email about how sorry they were and someone would get back to me. Two weeks later I still did not hear anything. So I replied to the email. The next day someone called and I missed the call. I tried calling back. It was a ridiculous phone tree that went nowhere. I called again and chose a different option. After being on hold for over 5 minutes then I get an automated message that they will call me back. Let's see if they really do call. If all I get offered is a coupon for a future purpose, they can keep their coupon because I will never use them again.

I wanted to send flowers to my father yesterday, it was his 90th birthday and he was in the hospital. I contacted Avas Flowers and placed an order with guaranteed same day delivery. I ordered him a plant and a box of chocolates. I placed the order at 1:13 pm. I was contacted later in the day, I think around 4 pm, and Avas told me they would not be able to delivery that day but would deliver the next day. I told them I wasn't happy with this because it was his birthday THAT day, not the next day and I didn't even know if he would still be in the hospital the next day. They told me they would check and get back with me. That raised flags right there, no doctor or hospital is going to release that information. Obviously they never got back with me but I contacted them several times and all they would do was apologize.

Get this, I couldn't get my money back because they don't refund money on same day delivery orders (this in spite of the fact that they didn't deliver)! So here it is today and I receive a text from them telling me the plant and chocolates had been delivered. My dad was at home by this time and I had provided Avas with his home address. I called and there was no delivery made to my dad, my stepmother even walked all the way around the house to see if they set it somewhere and it wasn't there. So I called them and it turns out they delivered it to the wrong address and tried to blame me for giving them the wrong address. They offered to redeliver but I would have to pay a second delivery fee. I told them I would not pay an extra delivery fee for their screwup and I asked to speak to a supervisor.

After being on hold for 15 or 20 minutes, the supervisor admits that someone wrote down the address wrong and they delivered to the wrong house. But the lady they delivered to was "nice" and they could give me her address and I could have my 90 year old father who just got out of the hospital go to her house and get them. I told them that wasn't acceptable, he was 90 years old and just got out of the hospital and her response was that if he was that old she was sure there was someone with him who could do it for him! Yeah, his wife is there but that isn't the point. I paid Avas to deliver HIM the flowers, not some stranger! What really got me was how little this woman cared, she acted like it was my fault this was an issue, not their fault because they screwed up.

I pointed out to her that I was looking at my email to her with my dad's home address and it was the correct address, not the one they delivered to and she got angry and said, "Yeah, I told you, we dropped the ball but you could just go get them." "No, I can't, I'm 50 miles away and I don't even have a driver's license." And if that wasn't enough, they still haven't delivered the plant. They say tomorrow...

I contacted Avas and I was put on hold many times. I insisted on a refund. They wanted to give me a 10 percent discount on the flowers they would send to my friend. Asked my other option - store credit!!

Are you kidding!!! I will never ever do business with Avas again. It was my first time using them and the last. I only wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I am hoping I see a refund in the days ahead. If someone does use Avas I would advise you to follow up with the recipient to be sure the flowers arrived! Or you'll be in the same situation! Whether it's $25.00 or 100.00 we all work hard for our money. I wonder how many other customers got swindled!!!

As a owner of a flower shop I have to say all the things I have to say about Avas are not good! If you want to order flowers order directly from a shop not from wire services. Why because they take most of your money that you give them and then they send it to a shop with less then what you have paid and expect us to fill the order for what you have paid if we ask for money they don't want to give any more now understand you have paid for it they just keep most of it. Avas flowers want the customer to think it’s the florist messing up but really they do not know what they are doing. I would not even giving them a 1 star but had to. Remember order direct from a florist in the area not from Avas flowers.

I complained thru e-mail to supervisor and such but the apology just did not seem to be enough. The reason for the flowers was SYMPATHY. Plain and simple. My note was a condolence and said nothing happy anywhere it. Where did they misread THAT... or maybe their staff doesn't read English. I am not happy and will Never use them again... EVER. Not local. I then read the reviews - apparently poor quality and bad business practices. I wanted to support a local business. I called and asked them to cancel my order 20 minutes after I had made the order.

Flowers were scheduled to be sent the next day. Rep told me that they had a policy - no refunds made in first 24 hours. WHAT??! She told me I would have to call back tomorrow. I said - "but the order will have been shipped tomorrow and it will be too late to cancel". She said "I'm sorry that is our policy." I then asked her what would happen if I called back tomorrow and the order had already gone. And she said - then no refund. WHAT A SHAM. Put them out of business. Sleazy Sleazy Sleazy. Found this florist when I looked online for a LOCAL florist in McKinney Texas. They presented themselves as local in their online ad. They are in NEW JERSEY. Unless you live in Mahwah, NJ, they are NOT local. BEWARE!!! I chose a flower arrangement from a picture on THEIR website and ordered. They advertised "No Delivery Charge" on their website. However, when I placed the order they added a hefty $13+ "processing" charge. It seemed very deceptive to me. That should have been my first clue. Not an up front and honest company.

When my friend in the hospital received the floral arrangement I sent her, she emailed me pictures. What she received looked nothing like the picture I ordered from; different vase, different height of the arrangement, not the same colors I ordered and not the same flowers in the picture. I was totally disappointed. I called the company and was offered a $20.00 credit with their company. So, in order to use the credit I would have to order from them again. Why would I even consider doing that? I wouldn't ever order from them again.

They told me that they have a policy that they can make changes with anything in their online pictures and the customer has to accept that. Then, why have pictures in the first place if they change what you order? I will never order again from this deceptive company and want to let anyone who is considering an order know what it's like doing business with Avas Flowers. My experience was TERRIBLE!!! Don't let this happen to you.

Ordered the PREMIUM arrangement and was assured it would look like the arrangement.

A family member took a picture of it and I was so embarrassed of what was delivered. Not only was it dinky and a lot of empty areas where flowers should be it did not even have a shape to it. NOT EVEN REMOTELY LIKE THE PHOTO!!! Was suppose to be ALL WHITE and had a few white roses (in the photo) they substituted yellow carnations and the there was a big GAP where the white bow should have been. NO BOW, just a hole!!! When I emailed to complain they stood by the arrangement they sent even calling it "my beautiful arrangement". Copied their policy as they did with other people who had the same problem and said they stood by their arrangement!!! So so upset by this and can get no satisfaction from them. My husband order a bouquet that was to be delivered to me at work. He gave specific instructions that the delivery had to occur before 4:30 pm as it was a business. Avas advertised same day delivery and told my husband the flowers would be delivered between 10 am and 4 pm that same day. The flowers did not arrive. The next day my husband checked the order status and was told the arrangement would be "redelivered ". We tried to contact customer service by phone and discovered that you do not have the opportunity to speak with a live person when you call. Rather you must make an appointment to receive a return call which was scheduled for 7 pm that evening.

The bouquet finally arrived at 4:20 pm that afternoon and they were not quality flowers. I sent an email to Avas to report the poor quality and received an apology and was told the local florist would be contacted to determine a "resolution". That was three days ago and I have yet to hear the resolution. My husband never received a call from customer service during his appointment that was scheduled. I highly recommend others to shop elsewhere. Avas cannot meet the commitments they make for same day delivery, quality flowers, 24 hour customer service and customer satisfaction guarantee. A local florist may be more expensive, but it is worth the extra cost to avoid the disappointment and frustration.

Bad customer service. Very disappointed with the “pink bouquet". The one on the picture is light pink/white, gives an illusion of a ball of flowers. Local distributor didn’t have most of the flowers and substituted everything but lilies (which were still closed and green). The roses were already old and almost losing leaves. Also round green leaves with white edges were replaced with dark green pointy ones, small yellow filling flowers were replaced with big red ones, pink filling flowers were replaced with dark blue/purple ones. They added a purple ribbon which wasn’t on the picture. Overall it looked like a bush of green filling leaves with purple and red cheap flowers, nothing like the picture.

We contacted customer service and they took two days to email the substitution policy (which they forgot to attach) and to tell us that the bouquet is meeting all policy requirements. They didn’t offer to correct it. I am not going to use Avas Flowers services ever again. Instead of nice gesture for our friends, I felt embarrassed by the product which was delivered.

My sister was delivered a pathetic arrangement with 14 flowers total and the charge was $61.93! I could have gotten those flowers at the grocery store for $6.00. Avas Flowers sent me an e-mail asking for feedback. I gave them feedback the same day and they never contacted me to make it right. I called their number and it took me 17 minutes before I was connected to a person. He was not willing to refund my money so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to a supervisor named Hector **.

He said the order was "filled to the recipe" and that the photo on the internet "is a stock photo and you can't expect to receive what is shown on the internet". Excuse me, isn't that what the photos are there for? I asked for my money back and all he would offer me was a 10% refund. I have now called my credit card company and have filed a dispute with Avas Flowers. The recording says they are a local, family owned company. Do not believe it! They are a national company who defrauds customers all over the US (as evidence by the various reviews). They do not care about customer service. This has been a terrible experience.

This, after I had given them the information that the office was in Goddard Hall and the room number for a Dean. I called back and the person who answered was impossible. I cancelled the order--he left me on hold while he talked to a supervisor, came back and refused to cancel the order.

I told him I definitely wanted to cancel the order and that I would contact the credit card company to refuse the charge. He would not stop talking and telling me that they could not cancel the order until I hung up the phone. I placed an order with Friendly Flowers, a real local florist and the recipient received two bouquets of flowers--so Avas did not cancel. I chose to order flowers online from Avas because it appeared they had high ratings and sounded like they were a local company. I ordered the flowers, for my brother and sister-in-law's 50th anniversary, on Wednesday 8/17 afternoon to be delivered the following Friday 8/19. The final cost for the flowers was quite a bit higher than I expected due to 'add-ons' and of course the final receipt I got did not provide details of the charges, just the final amount. My credit card was charged the day I ordered, but the flowers were NOT delivered - not on Friday as requested, not before their anniversary get-together at their home on Sunday, and not as of over a week later (8/25) when I finally called to see what happened. I first checked the order status online, and it said the order was "scheduled for redelivery." When I called, I first got stuck in loops 'for x, select 1; for y, select 2..." I finally got through to a live person, although it still felt like being caught in a loop.

She said according to their records, the flowers were delivered. I offered to have my sister-in-law call to confirm they weren't (note that there had been someone at their house essentially all of the time when a delivery might have been made), to which she replied that that wasn't necessary. I also mentioned that the status provided on their website just minutes before my call said that the flowers were rescheduled for delivery. She said they would have to check with the delivery service. Then she offered me a discount on my next order, at which time I told her I did not plan to ever order from them again, and requested that we get a full refund. She talked around this for a while (it was sometimes hard to understand her due to quite a bit of background noise on her end). I really couldn't tell what she was offering, though I repeated numerous times that I wanted a full refund, or would contact our credit card company to not pay the charge (this was before I realized they charged it as soon as I ordered).

She then said she would send the offer to me in an email. The email, received an hour or so after I hung up, shows a discount for my next order for the cost of the order never received plus about $24. Of course, the original charge was not removed from our credit card. I also learned from my nephew that he previously had a bad experience with Avas when sending flowers to his aunt and uncle - I believe that case was a very disappointing arrangement vs what he expected and paid for.

Suffice it to say, the actual floral arrangement looked nothing like the online photo. I emailed customer service and what I got back was an apology & a $20 online credit -- really? Do they think I would use them again? "Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me." They told me they would send me a photo of the arrangement, which they didn't and I hadn't wanted to ask the person getting the party together to send me one. But when I did, I saw why they didn't send a photo - it was awful! First, they didn't put in the main flower - 3 sunflowers, which cost me the most (over $20). Then they added tons of daisies which were the same size as the Gerber daisies that I had ordered. The flowers were unbalanced and the arrangement was a big nothing - for over $80!

When I complained, they gave me a $20 store credit, which I didn't want as I won't be ordered from them again, and subsequently a $10 credit card credit. This was insufficient as the arrangement embarrassed me as my representation at the party. I would never order from these people again - bad follow through and terrible customer service. Oh - they did get the arrangement at the party on time and the card was correct so I've given them 1 star.

The pricing on the bouquet I was trying to order would change when I got to the checkout-- so I called and got the same sort of "call center" service that another reviewer referred to. The price still ended up being ridiculously high for sunflowers, but I send him those for a special reason and the cost doesn't drive that decision.

I'm 3000 miles away so that leaves me no other options other than delivery from a local florist. I ordered flowers on a Tuesday afternoon. Same day delivery was confirmed by phone and email. DIDN'T HAPPEN. I was told this was my fault because I didn't return a confirmation phone call in time. Wednesday, I continued to check the website with no updates at all regarding delivery status. It was just "details are not available at this time".

When I called the company, they had no idea where or what the status was. Eventually they made a phone call to find out--AFTER I calmly expressed my dissatisfaction of the entire situation. They didn't email me or call to assure delivery or update information. The flowers arrived eventually, but although I had agreed that flower types could be substituted (NOT COLOR) the bouquet is a complete different color than pictured. Needless to say, FRUSTRATED AND UNSATISFIED to say the least. Go somewhere, anywhere, else.

I googled a florist in the town of a certain funeral parlor and Avas was the first name that came up. I ordered a deluxe standing basket. What they delivered was a floor basket with wilting flowers. The greenery behind the flowers was drooping over the flowers. I called customer service and they wanted me to go back to the funeral parlor and take a photo. This is when I found out they are not really a local florist. They are scam artists, plain and simple. They charged a 14.00 service fee and $4.00 for the little card that always come free with flowers. I wouldn't use this company again if the flowers were free!

The flowers that were received were not at all the color of the one that I had ordered. It was supposed to be a bright, cheerful bouquet and the flowers were pastel and blah and skimpy. Imagine my embarrassment when I ordered a cheerful bouquet with the card, "Your dad was always as bright and cheerful as these flowers". They'll think he I thought he was half dead even before he was gone. I was so disappointed. They said they wanted to make it right... but how? The occasion is over. Damage done. They have their money. Why be attached to a website where the customer can make a choice when in the end they throw together whatever pitiful flowers they have on hand. The image on top is what was received. The image on top is what I expected. For over $70 this was a rip off. Do yourself a favor and look for a more conscientious florist.

Ordered flowers to be delivered to my Aunt who has ALS. Was sent a text telling me that there was problem with order, so I called them. The customer service agent told me that my flowers would not be delivered today as the florist they used did not open their shop. When asked to have another florist deliver for them the agent said "sorry not going to happen today. It's after 4 pm and everyone is closed." When I asked to have them delivered on Monday then for 1/2 price he said "yeah that's not going to happen either. It's not my fault that they are not being delivered." I then asked him if it was my fault then I ordered the flowers paid in full for them so who is taking responsibility for them. He said "well it's not my fault they aren't being delivered and I am not giving you half off of them either. I will just refund your money and no flowers will be delivered."

He had call my Uncle and told him there was a arrangement that was suppose to be delivered today and that they would not be delivered, they would arrive on Monday. When my uncle asked who they were from he was told "sorry can't tell you that. You will find out on Monday." Now how was he suppose to let the person know that was sending them if he didn't know.

When I spoke to the customer service supervisor and explained the situation to him he said "well they can be delivered Monday and I will only give you 20% off of them and I will give you a 20.00 credit for a future order but I will not give you 1/2 off." I then said to him like "I will never order from you again. This is not acceptable." I cancelled the order and have still not received my refund from them yet. I would advise anyone who is ordering flowers NOT to order from this company as they do not stand behind their product or the company. They blame everyone else including the customer that ordered the product.

I then called Avas and was told the only way they would deliver them is if I paid $39 to make it $100. I was upset, but paid anyway because I needed them delivered that day because it was my anniversary. They were not delivered, even after I paid the extra money. I called my bank and had them cancel the payment, then called and canceled the order, and was still contacted about them delivering the flowers so I told them again I canceled the order. They still delivered the flowers after two cancellations. The pictures are what I ordered and what was delivered. Please do not use this company!!! They are price gouging crooks.

I called the customer service number, with the automated voice stating they would call me back at a certain time, which they never did. I sent multiple emails with photos attached and continuously got the run-around. I needed flowers for delivery in Bordentown, NJ. And found Avas flowers, checked the website and was pleased with the value of the specials that were advertised. I ordered a birthday bouquet that was discounted 45% with two balloons and a vase. I never received my email confirmation with price. The recipient sent me pics. Of the flowers, while very nice, they certainly were not a discounted assortment at a great price due to the special, I got no more than what I paid for. My vase was missing and I was billed for three balloons and only 2 (as ordered) were delivered. On top of that I was charged a processing fee of $13.95.

When I placed my order I asked the young woman if I had reached a call center due to the background noise. I told her I wanted to deal with a local florist. She responded she was in fact at the flower shop. A BIG LIE. They might as well say they are 1 800 flowers, because that's how they do business, they are an e commerce business that farms out their work. So disappointed, here I thought I had found a really good deal and it was just a ruse.

This flower arrangement looked like they used anything leftover that needed to be used up. They didn't even look good together. Nothing comparable to the picture as advertised. And the vase was supposed to be square and clear but was more upright, thick and ugly.

VERY disappointed is an understatement. I spent 50 minutes on the phone with Ava Flowers with little support even though I emailed a picture of the arrangement. They need to be called out on this as there is hardly a thing an out of state customer can do. For $60, I would have anticipated MUCH more than I received. Went all through the ordering process -- and saw that a 2.95 discount for which I was eligible didn't appear. I figured I'd let it go. Then, on the very last page, a 13.95 "service and handling" fee popped up! I could not page back through the order to delete my credit card info -- Avas has the site set up so you can't do that. I was fine with this price and asked for him to add filler and some wildflowers for a little color. I also requested that it be delivered to my friend's workplace between 1-2pm. David was very nice and assured me that everything would be taken care of.

Unfortunately David was wrong. First of all, the flowers did not get there until 5pm, luckily just catching my friend before she left for the weekend. Second, my friend sent me a photo of the arrangement and to my dismay there was only half a dozen yellow roses and the rest were white lilies. NO COLOR, NO DOZEN YELLOW ROSES, NO FILLER/WILDFLOWERS. Yet I was still charged $70 for this arrangement that was extremely late and not what I had asked for. They also were not accommodating when I called customer service to ask for a refund or even a partial refund. They only offered me a $20 Gift Card to their store, which I will NEVER use again. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that I lived across the country and hoped I would never even see the arrangement. Do not trust them! WORST! TERRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT USE! I told them that I would be there to see the arrangement and it better be pretty. They assured me it would.

When I arrived there were no flowers. While at lunch I called to question where my flowers were and they said they had them but had not delivered yet. I explained that no one was home because we were at birthday lunch and to call before delivering. They said, "Ok". No call came but when we drove up the flowers were sitting on the porch in the Sun. They were not attractive. They had scum in the bottom of the vase. The ribbon was hanging off of the flower. They were not what I consider acceptable.

I immediately sent a note expressing my dissatisfaction. I heard nothing from them. I sent a second note and they said they requested a photo which I did not get any text from them requesting such. I told them they could pick the flowers back up that I was not going to pay for them. I no longer live near this friend and I am unable to make it to the wake, so I researched some local companies that would be able to fulfill a nice flower arrangement and timely deliver. I found Avas Flowers online and decided to order from them. No more than 2 hours after the order, I received an email and text requesting that I call them due to an URGENT matter.

I called the company and the first representative I spoke with seemed to have no idea why I was being told to call. After several minutes on hold, I'm finally told that the order cannot be fulfilled and I would need to pay an additional $40 to use a different company or arrangement or they would just send a fruit basket to the family instead. I requested a refund because, after reading the full obituary, I realized donations in lieu of flowers was a much better idea. After arguing with him, I was told to call back in 5 minutes.

When I called back, another representative answered. After explaining what the first one had said to me, she stated that she didn't believe he worked for the company and that they would never offer me those options, then proceeded to give me more options and told me that she had personally contacting the funeral home and was assured flower arrangements were still being taken. I requested, yet again, a refund since the order could not be fulfilled and no action had been taken yet to create the order and was told I was being transferred to a supervisor. After 10 minutes on hold, the hold music stopped and demanded I schedule a callback. I called the company again and spoke with ANOTHER rep, again, and demanded to speak with a supervisor, only to be put on hold for another 15 minutes and to have the same message kick in. I called back twice more with similar results, except this time, I was actually hung up on.

Finally, I decided to call my bank and dispute the charge. Thankfully, my bank was able to dispute the charge and refund my money after contacting the company. Minutes after I get off the phone with my bank, Avas calls me back to let me know that they are waiting for a phone call from my bank to notify them of the dispute (which already happened as they were clearly notified if they knew about it). This was absolutely the worst company to deal with. I never thought I would need to read reviews for a flower company in my life and I have officially learned my lesson. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Completely incompetent people with poor communication skills who have absolutely no understanding of how a company should run. Do not use this company unless you have some pent up rage you're ready to get out by fighting with some of the most narrow-minded and daft beings on this planet.

Would rate zero or neg. star if it was possible... My husband called to order flowers to be delivered to our home. They initially said they deliver to our area so he proceeded with ordering and gave all info (address, cc info, etc.). When they entered the actual address they told him that they actually do not deliver to this area, but surrounding areas. My husband thanked him but said he would have to cancel the order. The rep continued to try to get him to provide an alternate address to deliver so I could pick the flowers up. My husband said "absolutely not, thank you but no thank you, please cancel the order." When we receive our cc bill they went ahead and charged us.

When we called and FINALLY were able to speak to a rep they said we were not credited because they were waiting for us to call with an alternate address for the flowers to be delivered to!!! We explained the situation, he said "okay let me transfer you and someone will take care of this" and of course we were disconnected. Every time we called back (4 times), the same thing happened. Finally on the 4th call the rep stated our account would be credited and we should received an email confirmation shortly. I am anticipating this will not happen or there will be a problem with it, so we will see. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I'm reading all these reviews and not quite sure why this business has not been shut down yet - they are clearly con-artists for offering a service, taking people's money and then not delivering. We ordered flowers for my children's grandma (on my ex husband's side) who passed and placed an online order the night before the funeral services... We selected "expedited" for the extra cost to make sure the arrangement was at the funeral home by 4 pm the next day - Avas guaranteed delivery by 1 pm. The order was for a deluxe spray plus expedited processing - $184 charged to my card.

Fast forward to the next day at 3:54 pm (funeral is at 4), I get a message to call Avas Flowers. I call their customer service and the lady beats around the bush and FINALLY tells me that their designer fell ill and they could not get another designer at the last minute to make the design, so my flowers couldn't be delivered BUT they would like to make up for it by delivering the spray, a basket of fruit and an additional plant. (You mean to tell me they have ONE designer but they are a "nationwide" flower delivery service? Lol OK - something smells funny). "Hellllooooo, the funeral is over!" The family is traveling to Illinois after the services to lay grandma to rest... They said, "well can't you get the address there!" Um no, this is my ex-husband's family and the flowers were supposed to be delivered to the funeral home as specified but you want me to "chase down" a forwarding address during a funeral? Asinine.

The agent began to argue with me - I then asked for a refund, she continued to argue with me. She said she could only issue store credit. Now why on earth would I want to order from Avas again after this experience? After 20 min of going back and forth with this lady, I asked for a supervisor. She placed me on hold for 10 min and then we were disconnected. Really? I called them back and spoke with a male agent and argued with him too about a refund vs. store credit. I asked him for a supervisor - he put me on hold, then came back and started talking about a store credit again... I'm furious at this point and say, "NO, I want a supervisor!" He then says, "I am a manager and I'm offering you a store credit," and continued the back and forth banter. I asked his first name and he said, Edgar, but he would not give me his last name. I eventually hung up on him.

This happened on July 20th - they have emailed me every day since to call customer service but when I do, it's the same old song and dance, "no refund - just store credit." I've never experienced anything like this before - it's crazy - the agents argue with you on the phone after they don't deliver a funeral arrangement and then keep your money. Insane.

I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers. The salesperson told me they could be delivered that day, which was great since I always send flowers to my aunt for her birthday and had procrastinated. They called me at 8 pm that evening and told me they couldn't be delivered because the local florist was closed. I could have told them that since that's usually how I order my flowers. They asked if Monday (this was Saturday) was ok for delivery. I said yes since I felt I had no other choice - my big mistake!

So, thinking the flowers were delivered on Monday, I asked my cousin to send a picture of them, since I had paid much more than I normally pay for the convenience of getting this accomplished on time. She reported that no flowers had been delivered. I was very upset and contacted Avas Flowers. This time no call had been made to me nor email sent that flowers couldn't be delivered on Monday. Long story short I ended up going through the local florist, which delivered them the same day on Tuesday - 2 days after her birthday. After fighting with Avas flowers, never getting anything escalated as requested, I was refunded $20, so I paid $33 for nothing. No flowers, no product delivered. I am filled with disgust for this company and think they should be put out of business. I want everyone to know how they operate so that no one else has to have such a horrible experience.

They accepted payment for the order then called to say they couldn't deliver on her birthday. They called mom and apologized, then asked for a time to deliver the next day. They would not cancel my order, so I agreed to the next day delivery option (which made me feel like I did nothing for mom's 80th birthday). Mom told them she would be home at 5pm and they delivered flowers at 12:50, when she was not there. I begged to cancel the order and they refused and said they will deliver the next day, two days later.

They gave me 15% off which was only $6.00, then $20 off a FUTURE order. Really?? I told them I don't want to do businesses with them anymore and want to cancel with a full refund. They refused and delivered anyway two days later, without the bow or balloon the first guy promised. I deserve a refund!! They are not compassionate and made sure they got their money on time, but delivered the flowers at their convenience.

The flowers that were delivered could have been purchased at Walmart for $10 and the candy was Russell Stover's 12 oz which could have been purchased at Walmart for less than $9. The total order with everything including some handling charges was $90. The flowers were horrible. I contacted the company and sent them the picture and they even agreed with me that it was not what I ordered and agreed to resend them.

The next batch was worse than the first, but when I asked for a refund, I was told that based on the second photo, I had gotten what I paid for. What??? The photo on their site showed over 40 flowers of various purple colors. What she got was maybe, maybe, a dozen. They looked like they had been arranged by my 9 year old grandson. Now the company will not even talk to me. They are satisfied they took care of the issue. Do NOT order from them. They are awful. The photos show what was pictured (deluxe - as shown), second is first batch I received and third is the second batch. You tell me.

Received a call later that day that they could not be delivered and did not have the flowers for the arrangement I picked out. I tried to cancel since they could not deliver what I ordered. They would not do this, instead offered to send a premium arrangement with a balloon and would be delivered the next day. When I visited my friend in the hospital I was appalled at what she received. It was small with only 2 roses and a couple of carnations. Could have picked up in a grocery store for 20-25 dollars. I tried calling them and they insist that this is what I ordered and offered me a 15 store credit. I will never order thru this company again.

I paid them $51.73 to get it there on Fri. morning and for the arrangement. I got a call from them that same morning saying they needed another $50.00 to deliver them to the funeral home. I told them no way I wanted a refund and that they were taking advantage of people's grief to make a big profit. I had to go through 4 people and 2 hours of frustration to get them to say that they were refunding my money. Only time will tell whether they lied about that or not.

I then called a local florist close to there who gave me a number for a florist who was close to the church where the ashes were to be taken and thankfully she was very nice, spoke perfect English and delivered for us that very same day and for much less than I originally paid Avas. People please do a google search and try and find a local florist who will not only save you the frustration and time but you won't have to try and grieve and fight with florist at the same time.

At 1:16 pm eastern time, I received the first phone call saying that they could not make the 1:00 delivery and "would later in the afternoon be ok?" Of course it wasn't ok because I did ask for a delivery before 1:00. "And by the way, if you couldn't deliver by 1:00, why did you wait until after 1:00 to call me?" I finally agreed to a later delivery time only to receive a phone call at 1:27 pm to say that a delivery today would not be possible and "would next Thursday work?" "Wait, what? But today is my sister's birthday!" "Sorry ma'am but we can't make it today."

I asked to cancel the order and was connected to Carmen. Carmen was apologetic and said she would look into the issue and call me back in 30 minutes. 52 minutes later Carmen called and said she was still working on the order, but would it be ok if she called my sister to apologize and the flowers could be delivered on Friday, 7/22. "Again. TODAY is my sister's birthday! So, no! And if you can deliver on 7/22, why can't you deliver today on 7/21??" Carmen said to give her 20 more minutes and she would call me back with a final answer. 45 minutes later (3:33) no phone call from Carmen so I call (for the 2nd time) to cancel the order as it had to be delivered by 4:00 pm eastern time.

Ryan, I think, couldn't find Carmen so I'm transferred to another person who still wants to deliver the flowers on Friday or give me an Internet credit of $100. Seriously? I have spent 3 hours on the phone with a group of people who are although pleasant, DO NOT KNOW what they are doing. I finally receive a confirmation email that my order is cancelled but it could take up to 10 days to receive my refund.

I will NEVER use this company again and if you decide to give them a chance, do so at your own risk. You will be disappointed! I depended on your company to follow through with the order. If that was not possible, someone should have called me first thing this morning to let me know it wasn't possible so that I could have made alternative arrangements.

The operator taking the order was not proficient in English and was difficult to understand. They apparently didn't bother to contact me when they weren't able to deliver Monday and left hangtag saying they had been there. This was even though my friend was home the entire day. When I saw a photo of the arrangement, I was sick. It was the exact opposite of what I had requested; mostly pink and yellow flowers with a yellow bow. It looked like it could have come from King Soopers.

Since the bouquet and $13.95 "quality handling charge" (yes, "delivery is free!") cost right at $75.00 it wasn't small change to me. I contacted them the next morning right after 9:00 a.m. I spoke to another representative who spoke broken English and who would not give me the local number for the physical location of the shop. I was put on hold for 20 minutes, then automatically switched to choose 1 or 2 for service, etc. voice. That meant I was left on hold for at least 25 minutes. I was NEVER able to speak to anyone or resolve my issue. No more Avas for me. They should be put out of business.

I specifically mentioned to deliver by 4 pm or to call me if not possible to re-arrange with another company. At 4 pm still no word on delivery, and the email confirmation was useless as it gave no transit information. I had to call in to an operator who checked on my order and left me on the phone for 5 minutes waiting.

I asked him to call me back when he had the correct info. A representative called me back fairly quickly to explain that they had not processed my order do to server malfunctions. She offered to resend the order the next day... this pissed me off because the occasion was special and wanted it there for a specific reason that had to do with the day at hand, but I tried to understand their side and said ok. She offered an upgrade for my inconvenience but could not provide me any info of what that upgrade was or a printout of my upgrade for my records. I still agreed.

I mentioned to her that I wanted the order to arrive in the morning of the next day and if they could not do it to tell me so I could order with another company. She assured me that I would receive some type of email confirmation for my troubles and what was entailed in the upgrade which I never received. Next day at 2:30 PM still the flowers are not delivered. Asked what my upgrade was and they said they included two balloons... are you kidding me? She also offered me a $15 coupon for my next purchase as if I would ever buy from them again. I found Avas Flowers via a search online. The reason I chose them as they boasted of local service and they could deliver the next day. One of my employees was hospitalized on a Friday and I ordered a gift basket for delivery to him at the hospital the next day. It was not delivered and apparently delivery was attempted on Monday, but was unsuccessful. I received an email confirming "delivery," but the email confirmation had the words "CANCEL" in the body. So, I called their customer service number and went round and round through their automated system, never being able to get connected with a person. Therefore, I emailed the "contacts" address to see if this was delivered or not. They replied and also sent me a text message with a number to call where I was able to speak with a live person.

After being handed off to a 2nd rep, who said the florist had attempted delivery on Monday, but was unsuccessful (my employee was still there) I decided at that time to ask for a refund, and was transferred to a 3rd rep, an executive. I requested a refund and he then put me on hold while he "researched" my order. After about 5 minutes of being on hold, he explained they were unable to locate the recipient at the hospital. I explained to him that he was now (Tuesday) discharged from the hospital and they asked for another address for delivery. I said I wanted a refund, and he said he could give me only a partial refund due to the fact the local florist had already created the gift basket.

I decided that instead of fighting a losing battle, I would allow them to deliver the basket to my employee's home. I have used online florists like FTD before, with no issue, and this is BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had. I don't know if she called them or if Dover's Florist in Summerville called to check, but they said they would deliver a fresh bouquet on Monday. After reading the tremendous amount of "fine print" at Avas' website, it appears that they "guarantee" delivery if the order is placed before 2:00 PM. Not only were they VERY late and in VERY poor condition, the arrangement that came on Monday was considerably smaller and less densely arranged than their website photo depicted. I was at my daughter's business at that time and it was NOT delivered. I called Avas at that time and a woman named Carol told me that the text message was sent because the delivery person left the shop at that time. That didn't make one bit of sense to me. He got in touch with the florist that supposedly delivered the arrangement and they admitted it wasn't delivered but that they would deliver it on Monday

By this time I was so disgusted that I had Carlos issue the full credit back to my account which he did right away. I asked Carlos for the name and phone # of the florist so I could call them also to issue a complaint. However, he said he isn't allowed to give out that information! Really?? I ordered a sympathy arrangement for a funeral in USA thinking this florist was best because it appeared to be in local area. I tried to order online but was having difficulty so I phoned them. Girl assured me they would be delivered that day 1st of July and I would get email confirming delivery. They sent me invoice, I didn't get delivery confirmation so I emailed them, no reply. I completed their online survey and complained, no reply. I checked a few times online, no delivery date. I had to phone them again from Ireland on 9th of July and despite the fact I told girl several times I was phoning from Ireland she kept putting me on hold. She eventually came back and told me the flowers were delivered on 5th of July. I would not recommend this florist. Full price charged, no refund or satisfactory apology. Would never use them again.

Avas Florist Advertises that they are "NATIONWIDE". It is not true. They use Teleflora and FTD to fulfill that claim. When you order from them they take their cut of the purchase price and then send it to a "real" local florist who must then try to fulfill the order shown but at a reduced cost. Otherwise they would be put out of business. Here are some rules when ordering Flowers.

    1) Verify that the Florist is actually near the location you want to send flowers to.
    2) When possible talk to the Florist Directly.
    3) I have called the local Florist from Korea and Iraq to send my wife flowers... She loved what she got.

    4) Realize that the pictures are "Photo-shopped". (Have you ever got a burger that looked like the picture at a restaurant?) The local florist will try to get as close as possible but they still need to make a profit to keep the doors open.

I purchased flowers that looked beautiful and FULL. I even got the "deluxe" item since they said that the photo looks like the deluxe item. The flowers were delivered and it was half of what the photo had. Different flowers too. It is such a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

I ordered a beautiful arrangement from this florist. I was on the phone for approx. 45 with the sales associate. I stressed that I want the arrangement to look exactly like the picture. The associate assured me that it would be identical to the picture. It looked nothing like the picture, arrangement arrived at funeral parlor. Called back Avas to voice my complaint the same day. It looked nothing like the picture. Yes it was a heart shape. Color scheme was nothing close to the picture.

I ordered a custom made banner that I was charged for and never received it. The card that accompanied the arrangement looked like a 3x5 card with scribble on it. Arrangement was 285$. Spoke to 3 different managers who said someone will get back to me. Called again today. They want to give me a 20$ Avas credit. The mgr said it would be escalated. Again I asked him is someone going to call me back this time. The other 2xs nobody called. So people beware. Don't order from them.

I purchased an arrangement of flowers from Avas. The flowers that arrived were not what I ordered. I emailed them with a photo of the arrangement. Their response was "item pictured is a depiction of an arrangement that we will make as similar as possible with the same look and feel". Snapdragons do not look like roses! I contacted the recipient about the quality of the flowers. I was told the flowers were dry and starting to turn. I wish I would have seen this site before my purchase.

I ordered a $98.00 arrangement for them to deliver to my dear friend that father had just passed away. I gave them the correct address to deliver it to... and a phone number for them to contact along with my phone for any questions. They never contacted my friend's phone, they never contacted me, and they claim I gave them a wrong address. They didn't deliver to their commitment by 4:00 pm because my friend was at her home until 8:00 pm. The next day when I had to call them again to check on why it wasn't delivered they tried to blame me for the address. They said the problem was mine. The only mistake I made in all of this was not looking up the reviews before ordering. I called my Visa... they will credit me my money and go after these dishonest people. Don't use this company. So sad I had to find out about them in such a sad time. Didn't make the whole experience of a funeral much happier.

On 6/30/16 I ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered along with 3 balloons and a stuffed Teddy bear for a total of $111+. ( Please see attached receipt). The next day I received a voice mail instructing me to call Avas. After holding for 45 minutes, I was told that SOME of the flowers, the lavender roses, were not available. After confirming that the lavender vase and the teddy with a matching lavender ribbon would be included, I approved the substitution of the lavender roses with lavender lilies and white spider mums.

Imagine my dismay when the recipient sent me a photo of the arrangement (see attached photos). In place of the teddy was a stuffed pony, fit for a five year old. The arrangement was in a green vase with a polka dotted ribbon, nothing lavender about it. Instead of 3 balloons there was only one. I contacted Avas, again holding at least 45 minutes. After an additional half hour of back and forth, their resolution was to give me a $20 credit. As I was on my way out of town, I asked a friend who was sharing in the floral gift, to call Avas on my behalf and seek a more equitable resolution. My friend also held for almost an hour and was finally able to negotiate a $33.95 refund, of which $20 came from the local florist who waived their delivery fee. I find this totally unacceptable as I requested either a full refund or a new arrangement that more closely resembled my order.

On a side note, I have spoken to the local florist and do not hold them responsible as they furnished proof that they filled the order as instructed by Avas. Apparently Avas informed them that I had approved all substitutions, which was absolutely not the case. Avas also tried to tell me that I ordered a "stuffed animal" when my receipt not only shows a picture of the teddy bear but also specifies BEAR-X in the product code column and that the one Mylar balloon was an upgrade from the 3 balloons I ordered. It comes as no surprise that Avas is non-accredited by the local BBB, with a grade of F, and has hundreds of complaints on file with both the BBB and Consumer Affairs.

I had selected a very particular bouquet for my mother for a special occasion. The bouquet came and it was completely wrong. The colors were insipid (as the recipient described them). When I received a picture of them, I was beyond disappointed that not only the colors were terribly off but the entire arrangement didn't even resemble what I ordered. It was heartbreaking for the amount of money that was spent. I was informed that after all of this, the flowers were not even fresh. They ended up in the garbage days later.

I called wanting a refund for this large error and was offered a 10% discount after sitting on the phone for 30 mins. The man I spoke to told me he was doing me a kind favor, above and beyond to give me 10%. At this point, I said, "Fine." I got a confirmation email that $3.99 was going to refunded to my card within 10 days. WHAT A JOKE!!! I filed another complaint and got a generic template email telling me how much my business and satisfaction means to them. I submitted a picture and 2 follow up emails to "management." Nothing. So as I promised, I am writing a review to warn you NOT to spend your money here. Go local. I should have known better. A total ripoff and a huge, huge let down for such a special occasion.

I called Avas Flowers and ordered a birthday floral arrangement for my sister on June 17th. Thank God I asked my sister to send me a photo of the arrangement. To my utter disgust and embarrassment, the bouquet was a kitschy supermarket arrangement with a rainbow assortment of carnations and baby's breath in a standard vases. NOTHING like yellow roses and orange lilies in the modern, square vase that they deceptively advertised. I was appalled at best!! I immediately called Avas Flowers customer service with the photo of my sister's bouquet in tow. I had to call three consecutive times before I could speak to a supervisor. The first two calls, I told the customer service rep that I needed to speak with a supervisor to lodge a complaint.

Response: I was put on indefinite hold and then hung up on both times. The third time I called, I wizened up to their MO and told the rep that I was calling to talk to a manager about the great service and, voila, a manager hopped right on the call. When I demanded Avas Flowers grant me a full refund and pick up the busted bouquet from my sister's home, I was guaranteed both although Avas did not deliver on either promise. My sister called twice to arrange for pick up with their local office as we were instructed to do but no one ever picked up the phone or had the decency to return her call. When I, in turn, called back the toll-free number to report this, Avas Flowers told me that someone had shown up at my sister's home but no one was home.

Avas, however, could not specify the day or time that was. When I pressed them for the details they didn't budge. Instead, they conveniently claimed that they would only refund me $35 of my $60 order because no one was home when they stopped. I took it on the chin and just to myself that I learned a valuable lesson with a $60 price tag. IF YOU'RE READING THIS COMPLAINT, I BESEECH YOU SAVE YOURSELF THE EMBARRASSMENT OF ORDERING AN ARRANGEMENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!! Go with a reputable florist. Also, whenever possible, ask the arrangement recipient to send you a photo of the bouquet to make sure you're not being duped.

I ordered flowers from Avas. Selected a beautiful arrangement with all bright colors, gerbera daisies and other bright flowers, with no pastels and no lilies. They were to be delivered the same day on Friday, 7/1 before 5 pm. After 5pm I received a call from Avas stating that the florist did not have the flowers needed to make the arrangement and that I was being "upgraded" to florist's choice and that the flowers would not be delivered until Saturday, 7/2. I was not given an option, just told that was what was happening and offered a 20% off future order. This was not really acceptable to me, but I was not given any choice by Avas. I was clear I wanted no lilies as the flowers are strong smelling and the delivery was to a small hospital room.

When the flowers arrived the next afternoon it was a pretty arrangement, but not anything like my original order and contained lilies and roses - both strong smelling. It was also not near the size it should have been and I was very disappointed. The person I was sending them to was leaving the hospital right after they arrived, so they totally missed the mark.

They failed to deliver what was ordered, failed to provide the same-day delivery that was "guaranteed", and failed to honor my request that what was sent not contain lilies. When I complained I was given the runaround, told that the flowers that were sent met "their" quality standards, and told that I agreed to the changes (which was not true - I was not given any choice, just was informed of what was happening). I will never buy through Avas again. I have learned my lesson. If I want flowers, I'll call the local florist or go into the store directly and skip the online frauds that really don't care whether you're satisfied or get what you paid for when it was guaranteed or not.

For my mother's birthday I ordered flowers from "Avas Flowers". Monday was delivery date. The order was never delivered. On Tuesday, one of their customer service representative offered me a 10% discount, and assured they will be delivered on that day. Tuesday afternoon I received a call from the representative advising me that unfortunately the flowers were not going to be able to be delivered, but, they were ordered to be delivered on Wednesday. By this point, I was so upset. I advised the representative I no longer wanted the flowers, and I want my money recredited back to my account. I was told that when the recipient receives the flowers have her reject them, and my account will be recredited.

On THURSDAY, I called to confirm credit back to my account. I was on the phone with a supervisor for 45 minutes. She told me that unfortunately I will not be able to get full credit because "their" merchant was requiring a partial fee!! How's that my business? I'm a customer! It's not my problem what their arrangement is with whoever their merchant is!! Making this unpleasant event to say the least, I only received partial credit, because she couldn't do anything more. "Avas Flowers" were so unprofessional, they have no idea how to treat a customer. What an unpleasant experience.

I ordered an arrangement to be delivered out of state to a close friend in honor of her birthday. The specific arrangement I ordered was not in the same container per the order information, but it was a beautiful arrangement nonetheless. The customer service representative apologized and gave me credit toward another order. I appreciate the genuine concern from the representative and the credit extended to me. It does not make up for the error from the florist, but it certainly does help, and I continue to patronize Avas Flowers.

Ordering for my daughter on her new arrival of our granddaughter which we could not attend for the birth, called placed order with Ava's Flowers. My online order went well with a very nice deluxe order of a bouquet of all pastel pink flower arrangement with hints of pastel lavender and green, a very beautiful arrangement display online. I knew it was the one at first sight. Order went well, tracking/deliver was on time. My daughter sent me a photo of my new grand baby with the arrangement and my eyes went straight to the disappointment of the arrangement that she was thanking me for.

It was not what I seen online, it was not of a deluxe size, colors were way off and I called to complain and was given a very rude run around to why this was what they sent with excuse after excuse to why it was correct. Even after I sent an email of the photo of how incorrect my order was they refused to see it was not the way they displayed the arrangement to be online. I paid a huge price for this happy moment to wish my daughter congratulations and I will never use Ava's Flowers again. They made this moment a very unhappy experience for the birth of our granddaughter to receive a beautiful arrangement on such a very special day and ended up with a VERY DISAPPOINTING ARRANGEMENT!!!

Ordered flowers for a special occasion. Guaranteed delivery date and time. They did not deliver as promised. They did not call to let anyone know the delivery would not make it. They just thought it was OK to postpone the delivery for two days. The customer service didn't really care and I have a feeling this is a common occurrence. There are a lot of flower shops out there you can use, my suggestion is to choose one of them and save yourself a headache. They absolutely suck.
