I placed an order for same day delivery and paid an expedited fee of $9.99 plus taxes to have them delivered before 1 PM on that day. They did not arrive until 5 hours past the designated delivery time of 1 PM. They reimbursed me my $9.99 however I was still charged for the taxes on the $9.99. This company is a scam and is only trying to get extra fees from the consumer. Next time I will read all the reviews and not the company's so called Five Star reviews.

Short and simple... I ordered a $85.00 flower arrangement for Mother's day this year and the site said delivery on Saturday and they came on Tuesday. They looked NOTHING like in the picture, I'd done better to pick a bouquet up at Giant for $15.00. Then they actually had the nerve to ask me to complete a survey and then never responded to my complaint. Their site leads you to believe you are using a mom and pop shop in town but they aren't. They just farm out the orders. Live and learn.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are the worst in the universe!!! My boss had me to order flowers for his wife's birthday. Charged his credit card nearly $100 dollars for flowers that were not delivered. He and I called. We're promised the next day delivery... Still no delivery of the flowers. I called and spoke with a so-called supervisor, Tom. He promised delivery the next day. No delivery was ever made. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS. I believe they are a scam.

Absolutely the worst service ever. Had ordered flowers but needed to cancel exactly half an hour later as hospital did not allow flowers. Contacted company immediately. Was pushed from person to person for almost 40 minutes. Had to tell the story again and again. Was told that flowers were already delivered. They were not. Told that I gave wrong address. I did not give the address. Person taking order looked up hospital as I called from out of state. Then told they needed to listen to the recorded call to see If that was true.
They called me back within an hour to tell me they could give me a credit only minus ten dollar handling fee then told they would call me back again. They needed to speak with the florist. To make a long story short they lied. They were not helpful. After my bank got involved my money was refunded. The flowers were not made or delivered to the go to the hospital. l and thus could have been resolved in 5 minutes with professionalism. I would never use them again.

I have had problems on 2 other occasions ordering flowers because of these 3rd party internet processing sites (like most every 3rd party service) and because of my experience and hearing the foreign accent, I tried with at least 4 questions to confirm whether he was at the flower shop in Mahwah or a 3rd party site. And he assured me he was in Mahwah.
I ordered the flowers as described online priced at 49.95 and luckily asked for a final price before I said "GO" as the price had gone to 107.00. With a few minutes of negotiation, I got the price down to 57.00. It was imperative that the flowers be delivered before 2PM as my daughter was leaving for 2 weeks. Finding at 4:45 that they were not delivered they tried to give me a credit, deliver them tomorrow. It then took me over 1 hour to get assurance I was getting a full refund. I can't even give this company a one-star rating -- STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Ordered Flowers for my anniversary. They claimed they were a local shop, and promised delivery before the end of the day. Never happened. So I called, and they started giving me the runaround. Offered to deliver one day later, offered $15 off. Then they left me on hold for 1/2 hour while I was waiting to talk to somebody who handles refunds. I finally hung up and cancelled the charge through my credit card company. In short, these guys are total scoundrels and liars. Don't waste your time and money.

Talked to a live customer service representative to order flowers for a funeral by 9am the next morning. I was promised it would be delivered on time. Flowers never came at the delivery time frame or anytime during the funeral. Called after the funeral to check on the status and reason why it was not delivered. After 45min of getting hung up and disconnected twice I was told they couldn't meet the delivery time frame. Also they stated on the phone recording I had agreed the flowers may not make the 9am delivery.
I said that was the main purpose I called in to order flowers so it could get there by 9am. They disputed by saying on the recording I agreed it may not be delivered on time but when I asked to hear the recording they said they could not play it for me. They then said I could not get a refund since the flowers were already arranged but they offered a 15% discount and said they will deliver it in the next 12-24hrs. I told them if they do not refund my money then to not even bother delivering the flowers and that I will call my bank to have the charges reversed. Within one day Avas Flowers left me a message to call back so they can arrange for a refund. At this point I've already gotten my bank deal with this fraud and I was done dealing with Avas Flowers.

My siblings ordered flowers to be delivered to me. They specifically asked for at least 5 stargazer lilies and some roses. Knowing my siblings the order was not inexpensive. What did I receive, look at the image (mums. 1 alstroemeria, dried greenery and 1 almost dead some other flower) and you determine, cheap flowers, cheap vase and worth 15.00 if you are being kind. As my sister was ordering from another state I think they assumed she would never know. I am not a complainer but I hate seeing people get ripped off like this.

I was a sucker for using this company. Buyer beware, this company has sales staff willing to lie, and follow-up service confused, difficult to access, and also willing to lie. Learned this company is little more than a call center in New Jersey. Salesperson assured me Avas Flowers was a shop in Las Vegas. I'll be contacting my credit card company for resolution.

I ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered. They could not do it that day, was to get upgrade. Got more flowers but cheaper and not what I had ordered. Two totally different looks, they say they have the right to substitute. I would have never known those were the flowers I sent. I spent right at $100, they wanted to credit me 7. I said "no thanks".

Never, ever buy anything from Avas Flowers!!! Their on-hold message is a fraud. They are neither local nor family owned. They are a third party, horribly run call center that doesn't have a single direct relationship with local florists. The only thing this company did well was lie and apologize over and over again when one thing after another went wrong. I purchased 25 pink and orange tulips. They delivered 20 reddish green flowers that didn't look like any tulips I had ever seen. They were not fresh and they were not arranged well. I was told my arrangement would be delivered before noon. It was delivered at 5:15 pm.
When I complained, I was given a complete runaround. They had no ability to deliver what they promised and claimed that the reason they fell short was that tulips were out of season. They offered to deliver something entirely different in two more days. When I suggested we cancel the order and return the unacceptable flowers, I was offered a 10% discount. It was a truly horrific and time-consuming customer service experience. What should have been a special happy occasion intended to brighten someone's day, turned out to be a massive disappointment.

I ordered flowers on April 19 to be delivered to a funeral on April 20. I was told that there would be additional charge to rush but they would definitely get the flowers delivered for an additional charge. I called the next day and discovered that no flowers were delivered. I called the AVAS and they assured me that the flowers were delivered. I checked with the funeral home and was told the flowers were not delivered. After calling numerous times and placed on hold for over an hour I was told I would be transferred to a Supervisor. Over 30 minutes later someone got on the phone and offered to send the flowers the very next day to the funeral. I spent 15 minutes explaining the funeral was over to no avail. This is the worst online flower shop! They continued to call for a week offering to send the flowers to the funeral. A complete rip off!

Can't speak English, below standard flowers, claim to be local and unable to cancel an order! An hour after placing the order a woman who barely spoke English called back to verify the address and phone number for the recipient. Everything that she had was in some way incorrect. She absolutely could not understand even the English alphabet when I tried to spell the words. I tried to cancel the order but was unable to do so. The flowers were being delivered the next day. The flowers arrived the next day with no ribbon, mostly greenery and were wilted and dying 3 days later. For over $60 with tax this is the biggest rip off. The inability to understand and speak English was the most irritating and to get below standard flowers was more than disappointing. See images of what I ordered and what I got below.

I wish I would have read reviews before using this business! I have 2 complaints: 1. When ordering, I was quoted 69.99 for the arrangement I had chosen however my bill was over $100 at the end of the call. He stated this was for a "design fee". So frustrating! I don't want to choose an arrangement and then have it significantly more expensive after the whole ordering process is done. At least they could be upfront about the cost when quoting the different prices available. 2. They promised to have flowers delivered before 10am to the funeral of my best friend's FIL. They called at 10am the day of the funeral saying the local business they use is closed and they could send something tomorrow. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. At least they gave me my money back when I asked for it.

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT order from Avas Flowers. You will not get the advertised discount, will not be told up front what you are being charged (you will get invoice in email $$$) AND you will not get what you ordered! The first order that was delivered was a tiny red wagon full of cut flowers which I specifically did not want. The second order, a tiny basket of plants, came with a sympathy card from a list of widow's names.

Searched for a local florist in a nearby town to order flowers for a funeral service of a good friend. AVAS said they could fill the order on the same day before service started. We received a confirmation of delivery. When we arrived at the service, our flowers were not there. Upon inquiry we were told that the flowers were delivered but to the wrong town. The funeral home had 3 locations. The issue, the flowers were for a specific person's funeral and the location we were told that they were delivered to was not open on the day of the service. So AVAS in fact could not have delivered flowers as they said. This was confirmed by the Funeral home.
AVAS would not refund the over $130 fee. When they tried to deliver the flowers to a business that was closed, a simple phone call could have fixed the problem. AVAS represented themselves as a local (Iowa) business when in fact they are in New Jersey. We are now contesting charge to credit card and will not deal with this company again.

Do not believe that there is free delivery. They tell you that and when you order, they assess a $14 "service charge" in case your order needs adjustment or replacement. Excuse me? That comes with the flower delivery. Also, if you are not careful - they charge for the "premium selection" without your asking for it and the photo online is the premium--so your arrangement will not look as pictured. SCAM.

Ordered flowers online specifically ordering arrangements that per the website were available for same day delivery because they were needed the same day. After completing my order (being careful not to accept all the automatic add-ons it tries to hit you with), I paid and all seemed fine. An hour and a half later, I receive a message that they will not be able to deliver my flowers that day and want to deliver them the next day. I called to cancel the order. I was put on hold, transferred to another department, waited on hold and then was hung up on, only to receive their survey yet without getting any help. I called back, trying to get straight to the same department and was disconnected again except for the survey. (Needless to say, I wasn't providing any good reviews.)
I called back a third time, was assured I would not be hung up on and I would be taken care of. Transferred again to someone who kept trying to get me to accept delivery on a different day. I had to tell them at least 10 different times, that any delivery other than the day I requested was not acceptable. I don't want a discount or credit because I have to go buy them myself and deliver myself so I don't need to have a discounted delivery for flowers that I don't need.
After 15 minutes (seemed like an hour) of arguing, I was told she couldn't process a refund and would get a supervisor. I was on hold for another 10 minutes and then told that a supervisor would have to call me back. I asked when, they said within the hour. It was 2:30 PM. At 4:00 PM, having not received a call back, I called again, finally getting through to a supervisor, who again tried to get me to take delivery on an alternate day. Once again I had to tell them that there is only one option for resolution. I want a refund. He finally agreed and I was told I would receive an email to confirm the cancellation and refund. I checked my email a number of times only to see emails about phone call customer service surveys they wanted me to complete but no refund. Still waiting for refund.

Paid over 70$ including $3.50 for a card, and what was delivered (not in a timely fashion as paid for) was what appeared to be a 5$ bouquet from a gas station. It looked nothing, I mean NOTHING like the picture. It was also not wrapped in any way. The card that was to be sent was a paper message zigzagged cut and taped to another small piece of paper, a preschooler could have done a nicer job. It's very insulting that this company can provide such poor quality product for what they charge. When I called to complain, they only offered a 10$ credit off next purchase which is a waste. Will never use their services again.
When asked to speak to manager, they made an excuse on the phone, caught them in several lies and was told they will call me, which they never did. Please, please do not get fooled to use this company. It truly is a scam and I wish the people who work there taking money from their innocent customers will only get the karma they deserve.

Absolutely terrible service. Flowers ordered for anniversary weeks in advance. Day comes and no flowers. Called to see, "oh well we were unable to make delivery today, they will be delivered tomorrow." Next day comes, get a text that says flowers were delivered, still no flowers. Called to see-customer service had zero clue, kept saying they were delivered while I was at the residence they were supposed to be. Offer a 10% discount on an arrangement that wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to. Never again. Go local.

I called from out of town to order flowers for a funeral that was 48 hours later. I thought I was ordering from a local store. The salesman and I agreed a $60, medium-size arrangement would be suitable. When I questioned the final $92.91, I was told the bow, "which would add color", was extra, as well as the card. I thought this was highly unusual but was traveling so I went along with it. Our son saw the arrangement at the funeral and said there was no bow. And then I noticed part of the extra charge was for a "rush order". Wow. The flowers were "nice" according to our son but not worth $92. I will NOT use this company again. They are deceptive.

I ordered a peace lily for a funeral. The man I talked to couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. I had to repeat everything about ten times, literally, and when I got off the phone, I was so uncomfortable, I called back to get another person and go over the order. Of course, it was all messed up, plus he didn't give me a confirmation number or send a copy to my email, which he promised. This girl finally found my order (which I also had difficulty understanding her) and found out my email address was wrong, plus the message on the card, and even our name and the price. I asked for the special advertised price of 45 percent off. He said that didn't apply to what I ordered, so I said "ok, tell me what I can order for the discount." He said $49.99. I said "what size is that," he said "small". I said "no, I want the medium," he said "that is $66, but with discount and tax $53.94." I said "ok, but make sure it's the medium."
We went to the funeral and it was the most pitiful, small, embarrassing plant with one bloom. When I got home I checked my credit card, and there was another entry from them for $10.00, which made the total cost $63.94. I called again and told them how unhappy I was and still hadn't received an email with a confirmation. She checked and they still had my email address wrong and when I finally received it, it was for a small plant, and the additional charge for $10.00 was to upgrade to medium size, which they didn't. She said they would refund the $10.00. Really? That's nice. I told her I wanted a full refund because I didn't get what I ordered, I was embarrassed by the skimpy plant and my blood pressure was through the roof.
She referred me to her boss, who was also hard to understand with everyone talking in the background. She called me back saying I would get the $10 refunded plus 25 percent off the order. I told her for $63.94 I could go to Kroger's and get something a whole lot better. I will never, ever use this florist again. I asked for the number of the local florist, and they wouldn't give it to me.

The flower arrangement was not even close to the arrangement I had picked. I ordered 4 balloons and a card with it. My mom only received the card. The lilies were wilted and damaged. When I called the rep constantly interrupted me and talked over me. I could have got a better arrangement at Albertsons for less money.

My boyfriend ordered flowers for my birthday and was promised (paid extra) for next day by 1pm delivery. Well, my birthday came and went and I never received my flowers. At 2pm, Avas Flowers contacted my boyfriend to say that they would not be able to deliver the flower today, but will reschedule the delivery for tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, no flowers in sight and no phone call to reschedule either. This time, I called Avas Flowers to complain. They stated again that they would need to reschedule for the next day, because ALL of the florists in the Richmond area had left for the day. Meanwhile, there is a florist directly across from my business who receives orders from companies like this and stays open until 6pm (I know the management there). Here it is, two days after my birthday with no flowers or refund for my boyfriend. Do not order from this company. It is a scam!

Bought flowers from them because their website says they can deliver to the Navy Base (Lie). Order was to deliver before 1PM. Obviously no flowers were delivered. The Tier 1 (BSer) tells me they weren't able to get on the base and they would try again tomorrow. I said, "No thank you that will be too late please just refund my money." Then he starts with a litany of lies, starting with the recipient is expecting, then to, "We talked to your wife" (which they hadn't) (more lies). Finally I had to get nasty with him to have him pass me to the Supervisor, who started his Tier 2 BS, wanted to give me a discount, try to deliver tomorrow, yada, da do day. Finally got my refund which will process in 10 days. I remember that I told them about the fraud on the website before (similar problem a couple of years ago). They should be made to take the fraudulent statements off the website.

I ordered flowers for a girl who has never had flowers in all 22 years of her life for her birthday. I ordered them 5 days in advance and paid extra for a delivery before 3pm. Long story short, they were never even delivered! Luckily, a family member got her flowers instead and she was so happy she cried but I'm pretty upset I wasn't able to give that to her. I paid 100 dollars for nothing and that one thing caused many many inconveniences. I am now on vacation and have no cell service. I have had to travel to a spot to make calls to customer care 6 times now because the call drops while I'm on hold and since they don't attempt to call back, I have to go through the long menu and holding prompts.
After haggling with a representative trying to give me 10 percent off and 5 dollars store credit to have them delivered today (pointless as the special occasion is far gone now), I was transferred to a manager who I haggled with about him insisting on giving me a gift basket instead. They did refund me, and I am thankful for that but the hassle and important occasion really bites.

The "5 Star Rating" on their website is fraudulent at best. This firm is not "local" in any fashion, based in New Jersey, and the customer service is pathetic. Their response to their poor service was inadequate. While the actual quality of the flowers appear from photos to be good, Avas personnel were extremely difficult to communicate with during the order process. English comprehension was poor and they ultimately put down the incorrect address for the delivery even though I spelled out the street, city, and zip code slowly and repetitively. The customer rep was more interested in trying to shame me for not spending more money on this "once in lifetime event".
Upon me contacting them to report the incorrect address, it took over 30 minutes to resolve the issue and was on hold an extended portion of this time awaiting a "supervisor" to take my call. For the incorrect address, late delivery, and my time spent trying to rectify their mistake; the "supervisor" provided a 10% discount. Completely insufficient...

TERRIBLE! Order was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but they called me and said they didn't have the flowers for that arrangement and asked if it would be OK if they made a similar arrangement to be delivered the following day. Sure, I said. Well, they delivered the flowers today and it looks NOTHING like what I ordered. Additionally, the $25 bear was not delivered. I called the company and they transferred me to some guy in India who barely spoke English. He offered me a 20% refund on my order, which would have been $17. Again, the bear was $25. I told them that was unacceptable and that I wanted the bear delivered. After keeping me on hold for 15 minutes, he came back with NO ANSWER.
I was told someone would call me back within the hour - no one did. So I called back. This time they only offered me 10% off my purchase! I asked about the bear and they finally admitted they didn't have any bears. Then they gave me a hard time about wanting a refund on it. STILL waiting on that refund. Am beyond disappointed in the customer service. Very sketchy business. Why would you sell products you don't even have?

I am very upset and will never use Avas Flowers again. Last week I ordered 6 bouquets from Avas Flowers for my niece's funeral, and they decided to split up my order among 3 different florists. When I asked for the florists' phone numbers, they refused to give them to me. In the end, I did not receive my entire order, and my flower arrangements did not match. Despite calling them 4 times, they never sent me a receipt for my order and kept lying telling me my last bouquet was "in transit". I will never use them again!

I wish I had read all these complaints before I ordered flowers from Avas Flowes. I ordered flowers for same day, Friday delivery and received a phone call saying they did not have a driver available to deliver that day but would be delivered the next day. NEEDLESS TO SAY-- THEY HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED, yet my order online shows they have been. When I called Saturday asking about them I got told they could not get a hold of their flower shop but would send an email. So I call back again today, Monday and get the same answer from Alex **. And he tells me the email never got sent on Saturday -- surprised -- not. And he will not refund my money until he gets a hold of the flower shop. Can their website be taken down as a fraudulent business?

This is the worst customer experience I've ever experienced and I'm in my mid 50's. I ordered a bouquet of flowers. They couldn't deliver in time that they advertised. I asked them to cancel the order over and over again, and they wouldn't hear it. They kept saying "we order on Monday, OK?" "We order on Tuesday OK?" Etc. I said "NO. NO. NO...CANCEL ORDER. CANCEL ORDER. CANCEL ORDER. I DON'T WANT YOU TO DELIVER THE FLOWERS." They put me on hold and came back on and said they would deliver on Monday. I reiterated over and over again... "No. Cancel the order!!!" I was talking to a wall.
Then they said they were putting me on hold... and they disconnected. They never delivered the flowers. I did receive an email stating they delivered the flowers which they DID NOT!!! Insult to injury, I just received the bill for the flowers that I cancelled and they didn't deliver. I called them again today, and they said, "Well we see you just put that order in today." (I PUT THAT ORDER IN ON MAY 6). They then said it was a system glitch. So they have promised me that my credit will go in tomorrow. Nightmare experience. First time ever I actually used language that I would normally never ever ever do. Awful. Awful. Awful.

I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers for a friend's 40th birthday. I paid for the rush delivery to have it delivered by 2:00 pm. It just went downhill from there. I received a message saying that the flowers had been delivered but in the notes it said it had been cancelled. I called the 1-800 number and the customer service rep assured me it had been delivered right up until he called the local florist and they had chosen not to take my order. This was at 11:00, I started this order at 9:00 am.
Then they sent my order to a florist that was an hour away from where the flowers were to be delivered. That florist contacted me and assured me she could get them there by 3:00. I said "Okay" and was a little skeptical but was assured they would get there. Well, 3:30 came, 5:30 came and the flowers were still not delivered. My friend had left work by now. I finally get a call around 6:00 saying that they were delivered. I proceeded to tell her that my friend was no longer at work and she said "Oh yeah I know we left them with a coworker", I said "Um did you get a name?" She said no they did not get a name or signature for flowers that cost over $100.
They left them with a coworker who may or may not have known my friend. I called the florist obviously upset and she said she would make it right and discount the flowers or something since my friend never received the flowers, but to let her know if the coworker gave her the flowers. When I called Avas they said the only thing they would do is give me back the $11.00 I paid for express delivery. To make a long story short my friend got her flowers at 9:00 pm, the florist ended up yelling at me about how much money and time she lost out on with this order and never refunded me any of my money. This was a florist in Urbana Ohio.
Avas Flowers thinks they are so big that you the customer doesn't matter. If they mess it up and don't do what you want they are going to charge you and they don't care because they have thousands of other customers. I will never go to them with my business again, and I order a lot of flowers for family. I would not recommend them, in fact I would avoid them at all costs.

Flowers not delivered on date requested. Ordered on 5/17/2017 large bouquet (24 pink long stem roses, 3 white roses in middle, baby breath, vase, and large pink bow) to be delivered 6/3/201 by 11am. To be delivered to my granddaughter for celebration of her high school graduation. *Note: her graduation is on 6/4. The purpose of requesting 6/3 for delivery was to ensure she would be home at time the flowers would be delivered. Avas took the full amount due from my account on 5/17/2917 for arrangement. On 6/3 I called their customer service to check on delivery of flowers (this was at 1:30pm). The person answering, placed me on hold "while she checked with the local flower shop handling the order & delivery." When she finally got back to me (still holding) she indicated "sorry, we were not able to make contact with the local flower shop, so we left them a message". Then I was told to check back later.
SO, I waited till 4:10pm, called back customer service for Avas Flowers and received same response, with an apology, stating "we will make sure the flowers are delivered tomorrow". Well, I tried to explain to them that my granddaughter well not be home tomorrow, 6/4, because she will be at her graduation ceremony. That is why I requested be delivered 6/3 to ensure she would be home!!
Then I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. Placed on hold again then told would be transferred to a manager. Guess what. Rang multi times with no answer, then just about the time I was getting ready to hang up... I received a generic voicemail message with an extension number to leave a message. This was very frustrating. Left a voice message with great detail of situation, including the order #, and my direct contact... never heard back. Also indicating I will never use Avas Flowers again, nor recommend them to anyone. Oh by the way, still have no idea if my granddaughter will get the flowers I paid for. Terrible service!!!

My experience was absolutely horrible! After selecting my flowers and where I wanted them delivered to and what day I paid. Well the next day I got a call saying no, that I needed to pay $3 more to have it delivered that day. I told them no, that's what was told to me when I first purchased the flowers and if there was a shortage they needed to cover it. Then I was told to hold and when the rep came back on the phone I was then told that I actually needed to pay a minimum of $65 to have flowers delivered to that address. Again, this was NOT required when I ordered the flowers.
I was ordering these flowers for my 92 year old great grandmother who was just released from the hospital due to a bad fall resulting in broken bones. I am going through enough already and then to hear that I need to pay more because their company got it wrong, not what your customers should go through. Whichever "manager" I talked to to get this matter resolved was so unprofessional and showed no compassion at all. So I requested that my $61 order be canceled and take my business elsewhere all over the fact that they weren't willing to cover a $3 difference that was never disclosed to me. This is THE WORST service I have ever gotten!!

We ordered the largest arrangement of roses and lilies for a family funeral. The flowers cost nearly $120. They arrived and had 2 or 3 roses, and 1 or 2 lilies. The arrangement fit in the palm of the hand. It was the SMALLEST arrangement at the funeral, and according to the director, one of the most expensive. I called customer service, twice was placed on hold over 30 minutes, and then the call ended. I kept calling back asking for a supervisor, and that supervisor would hang up too. I emailed photos of the tiny arrangement, which was barely larger than the accompanying card. I will contact the bank to dispute the debit.

Do not use this company. My son ordered flowers for Mother's Day (the 14th) on Wednesday the 11th. The flowers didn't arrive. We understand that Mother's Day is busy so we gave it an extra couple of days, by the 16th the flowers still didn't arrive. I talked to the customer service rep and she tried to talk me into another delivery for 10% off. I asked for a refund since Mother's Day had come and gone. The rep told me she needed to contact the "local delivery company" and she'd call me back the next day. On the 18th I called them. They tried to talk me into another delivery for a 10% discount. I asked for a refund and they said they would process it.
Meanwhile my son and his mom are both saddened by this as they have a continent between them. This company is not just stealing money. They are hurting people w/ their failure to meet their commitments and fraudulent business practices. I hope to get a refund through my credit card company as a fraud protection but reading these reviews I'm surprised they haven't been shut down already.

I ordered flowers for a funeral and they were never delivered. Six phone calls later the recipient still has not received the plant. Avas Flowers has now told me three times they are going to redeliver the plant and still no delivery. I have spoken to sales reps and managers and all they do is apologize and humor you. I was also hung up on when I requested a refund. Flowers were suppose to be delivered today and now just received a call. The flowers were delivered on Friday before 12:00 p.m. That is really amazing because the flowers were not ordered until 1:08 pm. They also claim they will send an email upon delivery, never received any email with this confirmation. DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS. TOTAL SCAM!!!

Flowers ordered for my mother in law for Mother's Day were never delivered. Received a refund upon multiple request but then my account was billed for someone else's order and a refund was refused. The company claimed to have no record of any other orders using my account. I have involved my banking institution and received a provisional refund. I regret not checking ConsumerAffairs before trying out a new company for this yearly purchase.

Waited for 4 days and spoke to representatives each of those days post delivery date. They never did anything they promised. My sister's fiance passed away so I decided to send her a white bleeding heart bush that could be planted. I was assured that the bush would be beautiful and delivered to her in a timely manner. I should have known when all the info I gave over the phone was incorrect on the email confirmation. I updated all the info and figured that was that. I live in CT, my sis is in CA. I get a delivery confirmation. I call my sister and nothing was delivered. I call Avas and spoke with a gentleman who seemed to be very concerned and very helpful. He put in notes and supposedly made a call to the designer that there was nothing delivered even though I had a text message saying that it was. He then gets back on the phone and says that the designer is closed and to call back tomorrow.
While face timing with my sis she gets a delivery. She shows me not knowing what it is supposed to be and it is NOT EVEN a Bleeding heart!!! It's a bunch of flowers and plants thrown together in some sort of bowl! I am beyond livid right now and will be calling back tomorrow when everyone is hopefully open and getting a full refund while leaving them with unkind words about the way they take advantage of people. I will never recommend this place to anyone! HORRIBLE.

It was an awful experience. I ordered what they called a premium Bouquet. I cannot believe they charged 82.00 for that. I called and complained on the following Monday. I could not understand the girl on the phone because of the background noise of where she was at. So I e-mailed them and they told me to call the 800 number. I all got was 10% discount off something. Could not understand this lady either due to background noise. I would recommend not to order from here ever!

I ordered 8 days in advance and went by a photo posted online for blue hydrangeas in a light blue vase. I said specifically No Yellow Lilies... Only some white to offset the blue hydrangeas. What was delivered were all yellow lilies with a couple of puny purple iris in a cheap see through green vase. No hydrangeas at all. I called after seeing the photo that my aunt posted and was assured that although there were no hydrangeas or sunflowers available (my second choice), they would make a beautiful deluxe bouquet of mixed Gerbera daisies and deliver today. They also said that they would let me know. Still don't know if they were delivered or what it looked like. This was my aunt and uncle's 60th wedding anniversary and I was their flower girl. I am incredibly disappointed and paid more than $60 for some crap yellow lilies in a cheap vase. Never will use this service again.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS HERE. I ordered flowers to be delivered for a loved one's funeral. The funeral was scheduled for 11:00 am. I placed the order the day before and left specific instructions for the flowers to be delivered early due to the funeral taking place in the morning. I called the day of, at 8 am, to confirm that the message was received. The flowers arrived late. I spoke with a supervisor and was offered 2 ridiculous "deals" for the inconvenience. This was unacceptable and should not ever happen in this circumstance.

Made an order today because I was told I had a credit of $22.44 from previous orders. However, I wasn't able to receive that credit on completing a new purchase. Got transferred 4 times, but no one could resolve this. I will DEFINITELY stop ordering from Avas Flowers. This is poor customer service and akin to a "bait and switch" operation.

I ordered flowers for a coworker who had been hospitalized. I paid 88.00 for this fresh vase of flowers to be delivered on Monday May 21. It is evening on May 24 and still no flower delivery. I wouldn't have know had I not been calling daily to attempt to get a refund. Oh, and by the way They don't do refunds!!! I'm calling the Better Business Bureau tomorrow as this company stinks.

This is the first time I have ever written a negative review of anything but I felt it was necessary after the horrible experience I had. I ordered flowers for my mom around Mother's Day. I was so excited because she loves flowers. Somehow they managed to send them to her a week and a half early when she was not even in town. When she got home she told me about the "white flowers she got." I ordered a bright bouquet with beautiful colored flowers, yet she received a completely different, and unacceptable flower arrangement. It was a lot smaller and completely wrong flowers and colors. Nothing like what I ordered.
It was also missing the balloons and card that I paid extra money for. When I called Avas Flowers to explain the missing items, incorrect delivery date, and wrong flowers they were not quick to solve the problem. I had to speak to several different people and call almost DAILY in order to get them to finally send the new flowers on the correct date. Of course the card I paid additional money for was missing, but at this point I was so frustrated and sick of all the time I spent on the phone, that I just let it go. It was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had shopping online and I will be sure to never do it again.

They are scammers who don't know what customer service means. The website constantly flashes a great deal that will only last 30 minutes. Sales pressures you to take that deal while you can even if you have no information to give them on delivery. That up to 45% off deal isn't a deal at all. We got a much bigger funeral arrangement for much less at a reputable company after canceling our order. Customer service called at around 11 the day my Arrangement was to be delivered needing approval to swap flowers and then said they couldn't guarantee delivery, I then said I'd like to cancel my order.
She refused to accept that I wanted to cancel my order, I gave the girl my email address and ask her to please send me a confirmation that it was cancelled. She still didn't want to accept my cancellation so I asked her to repeat after me "I'm canceling my order" and I hung up because I was out at a charity event. I called my husband who immediately called our credit card and disputed the charges. When I got home at 4 I decided to call them and just make sure that they had cancelled and they had not cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager and talked to Dante who after some time of putting me on hold said they have cancelled the order.

I am not generally the type of person that submits reviews, however, I believe others need to know what kind of service Avas Flowers actually provides: I placed an order with Avas on 5/21/17 at 10:39 am for an arrangement to be sent to my cousin for her birthday. After the order was placed, I received a confirmation via email stating "Flex Delivery: 2017-05-21 or 2017-05-22". I am so disappointed with the processing of this order. I ordered on Sunday for same day delivery promised. I received an email within an hour of the order stating that the order could not be processed for that day, but would go out 5/22/17 (today); I am patient, so I was okay with that.
HOWEVER; this occurred today: At 10:00 am, I received an email with confirmation that the order would be delivered today. At 11:31 am, I received an "urgent" text message for me to contact customer support. I called, and I was informed that the I needed to confirm that delivery was "acceptable for today" in order for the delivery to be made today. I explained to the lady that this was acceptable and confirmed YESTERDAY-so I was given a 10% discount on my order for the inconvenience. At 11:58 a m, I receive another "urgent" text message. Then received a phone call at 12:19 pm, stating "the order is not able to be delivered today, will I authorize it to be delivered tomorrow."
NO!! No it is NOT okay if a delivery that was promised for 2 days ago is being rescheduled yet again... Not even 30 minutes later!! This entire experience has been nothing but disappointing!! Listed on their website is "Best Calumet, OK Same Day Flower Delivery!" and I've had anything BUT a five star rating!! As far as I am concerned this is false advertisement! Eleven (11) emails, 4 "urgent" text messages, and 5 phone calls have occurred over the period of TWO (2) days!!! I have requested a FULL refund-to which I have been informed "has been processed" but It may take up to 10 days to post... I am beyond irate with the falsification and inadequate promises their website indicates!!

Not sure where to start.... I got a call that you needed to push my delivery back, which was fine. And that you wanted to compliment me roses as opposed to my original bouquet ordered. It wasn't clear if it would be a rose-only arrangement, or if you were using roses instead of another flower in my original order. But the delayed delivery wasn't a problem. The woman who called me was nice, but kept apologizing every 5th word and was not clearly communicating what the problem was and what was being done or asked of me.
So then 3 minutes later I get another call from the same person, who sounded confused at first that we literally had not just hung up the phone, that you're out of roses, but can do Tulips. Well I said I didn't want Tulips. I'm not frustrated, already confused, and now totally not getting anything I wanted so I asked, "What about a bigger bouquet of what I originally ordered?" I never got a clear answer despite asking this line caller and her manager so I ended the conversation just plain confused about what the hell I was actually getting for the money I paid. Ultimately it was a bouquet of I think a dozen roses, of all different colors. Honestly, I wanted the arrangement I originally bought because it looked nice. The experience left me frustrated and I won't be buying from you again.

The arrangement that was delivered was not only even remotely what I ordered, but it was not full (I ordered the deluxe arrangement). The colors were not even vibrant. When Avas followed by asking me to rate their service, I rated them 1 out of 3 on their scale. They responded by issuing me a 10% reduction in the cost -- really? No. I trusted them to provide the product they advertised, or at least something comparable.

People did not get item delivered on time. Wants to deliver item or fruit basket later to another address, what spooks lay behind this refused counter offer is wildly unknown, not able to get flowers to funeral on time. Was a useless experience and the refund or customer service driven phone system does not even recognize their own assigned order number for me.
I'm afraid to open attached PDF receipt in email, may be virus or worse based on review of this website and my experience. Will not use Avas Flowers service ever again and I suggest you use a real name brand rather than an Avas Flower ad going to call center faking the location of store. I agree with a former post that the service is first a big misdirect and second a legal mumbo-jumbo of excuses to justify their very poor performance. I sent flowers to someone living Miami for her college graduation. I looked online and found Avas Flowers which claimed to be in Miami (It was billed from Mahwah NJ). I found a beautiful arrangement of pink roses and purple lilacs and placed my order. The arrangement delivered was nothing like the picture of flowers I ordered. It consisted of 2 orange roses and a bunch of red carnations. After approximately 10 phone calls and multiple emails with my complaint of them not delivering what I ordered, their solution was to offer me a 10% discount on "my next" order. Obviously I will not use them again. Save yourself the money and aggravation, as you will not get what you ordered delivered. I wish I had read the reviews on this site. Awful experience.

I called the number, was contacted to a local florist, asked if they had gladiolas. She assured me they did. I asked for 7 gladiolas of a particular color and put the order in. They delivered roses and balloons. When I called to complain, the 800 number person said it was designer's choice. I look at the invoice they had emailed to me, and indeed they had a note that said the designer could choose the flowers. I suppose if I had reviewed the invoice they emailed to me, I would have caught what they were doing, but usually it is enough to call a florist, ask questions, and put an order in. It seems like they just take your order over the phone and then do whatever they want.

This is NOT a local company, it is false advertised. We ordered flowers for Mother's Day on Saturday, as the site said the flowers could be delivered that DAY. No flowers were delivered on Saturday, no flowers on Sunday. I called and cancelled the order on Monday, and they said they would refund my money. My account was still charged. Then on WEDNESDAY the flowers were delivered and NOT what I ordered. The asked me to send a picture, and I did. Still nothing. I called a 3rd time, and they offered me 10% off, I said NO, they offered me $10 for a future delivery, I said no. I explained once again, that I CANCELLED the order 2 days before they delivered. They also charged my account 2 days before they delivered the flowers. They finally said I would get a refund. If I don't, I will be disputing the charge with my bank!

First off if you're reading this save yourself the trouble and DO NOT order through these people. It's a horrible experience and runaround. They have false marketing advertisement which is a deceptive practice to lure people to purchase a service that is not available. The same day delivery stuff is bs and free shipping is bs. They still charge you but put it under service and handling fees. If you order through them they will absolutely not deliver it the same day or the next or the next. They will keep making up excuses as to why it didn't get delivered. Then they try to discount you $10 then $15 off your order when you're literally telling them to refund you full due to the fact what you ordered didn't get delivered or the fact that it didn't get delivered on time as their advertisement states.
It also states they are local and they are not local. These people do not understand what give me my money back due to not receiving your order. They go in a runaround to try and keep your money! I've never dealt with any business who has treated me and my purchase so poorly! To top it off they wanted to deliver it to the person I sent it to neighbors due to that person being gone for a week they decided to finally deliver! When I had ordered 4 days in advance & now they were going to be out of town! So annoying. Save the trouble and your money and do not do business with these people!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, FALSE MARKETING, DECEPTIVE PRACTICES!!!

I looked up local delivery to a rural North Carolina zip code and this site came up. It clearly states it is a local florist, as does the voice recording on their 855 number. Well, I'm sure they're local to somewhere but not anywhere near where I wanted the flowers. Like everyone else here, my flowers were not delivered on time and when I called I discovered they had not even found a local florist. I was assured they would be delivered. Yet after two more days they had not yet arrived. I called again and they had still not made any arrangements. I asked for a refund, which I did receive.
During my and my wife's several calls to them, there was a huge amount of background noise. People were talking loudly and I even heard some applause. The support people sounded like robots instead of people and spoke very poor English. This is the kind of call center that gives call centers a bad reputation. They got my name wrong and it wasn't until the final call that it was corrected. They are misleading, and very poorly run. Like I said, I did get my refund, which is a relief.

Stay away! I bought flowers through Avas Flowers. First of all, I bought the flowers for Mother's Day and the website said I could upgrade to the next day delivery delivering before 1 pm which was the day prior to Mother's Day. I ONLY bought from this company for that fact as we were not going to be home the rest of the day after 3 pm. After not getting the delivery by 1 I called the main number. AVAS stated they could not get hold of the "local designer". I told her to give me the name and address of the florist and I would go pick them up myself otherwise another option was to deliver to my parents' place which was a block away from my residence. We could then pick them up from them on Mother's Day the next day. She put me on hold and then came back saying she emailed the designer and that if they couldn't get the flowers to my place by 3 pm they would deliver them to my parents later that day.
Later that evening I received an email from them saying they couldn't deliver until Monday, the day AFTER Mother's Day! They said there's no time guarantee during this holiday! Well the website stated they COULD get it there when I paid the extra for it to get there by the time I wanted it. If they can't, don't say you can! I would have gone to a local florist or grocery store and picked out something on my own! Now it's Monday, the day after Mother's Day. By 3:30 pm still no delivery! I call the main company and guess what? They can't get a hold of the local designer. Shocking! Of course they assured me they will be delivered yet. Later that evening they finally arrive. First, I paid $74.00 for an upgraded "deluxe" arrangement. What she received looked like a $40.00 grocery store arrangement. Very disappointing!
I also paid an extra $6.99 for a Mylar balloon and $3.99 for a full size Mother's Day greeting card. Neither were delivered with the arrangement. Now I'm arguing with the main company to refund the money I paid for items I never received. They say they are waiting to hear back from the local designer for an explanation. Can't get a hold of them, go figure! Besides this being the worst experience I ever had to deal with when sending flowers I had to endure watching my girlfriend's 13 yr. old daughter who I consider my own cry because this was her gift to her mom and it didn't arrive on time. I also apparently have to fight to get my money back for the items purchased that weren't delivered. Save yourself the nightmare and heartache and do not do business with Avas Flowers.

Ordered flowers for a friend whose Father had passed suddenly. They said they were local according to their website. They were doing same day delivery to a funeral home. Website didn't ask for a name. I called the place because I had forgotten something on the order. They didn't speak very clear English. They called me back and asked for the deceased name. They called me later. And they called me again saying they didn't have it 2 hours after the delivery time. So I asked them to delivery to the church the following day because the viewing for that day were over.
The flowers the following day needed to be delivered by 10 am. They called at 1 pm the next day and said they weren't able to deliver once again. That they would try again at 3. I said service were long over. That at that point I wanted a refund. The lady said they don't do refunds but she would be happy to help me. I said service are over & I would like a refund. She said they could deliver a fruit basket or another arrangement to the home. I live out of state. I didn't know where my friend was staying. Which I told them and she said "well we can deliver it the following weekend for Mother's Day". No I would like a refund and I will send my condolences when my friend get back in state. "No I will help you." I ended up talking to a supervisor. After holding for about 45 minutes.
Apparently they a lot of people need to talk to supervisors. The supervisor said he would submit my refund and I should have it with 5-7 business days. ($120.) 10-11 days later I realized my account hadn't been credited back the amount. I called back on hold again for about 20-25 minutes this time while the man researched my stuff. He came on and was able to refund my money. When I asked why it wasn't done before he said the supervisor just canceled the order and never processed the return. Nice. I'll never be a returning customer.

I just wanted to say I received the absolute worst service ever with this company. I ordered flowers for my mother in law on Sunday. At 5 pm on Monday I called to follow up on the delivery when the man I spoke to said they would be delivered the next day... What?! You're kidding right? He said they had a glitch in the system and I had to deal with it! I called back today, Wednesday at 4 pm and was told they refunded my order and my flowers weren't getting delivered at all... No email, no phone call, no nothing! Just 5 business days to see the refund in my account and wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor! Now my mother in law is still without her flowers and I still don't have the $86 in my account! The girl today actually told me no one cared and wouldn't fix the issue! Very disappointed!

My daughter, staying out of country, ordered Mother's day bouquet to surprise me and got a confirmation for delivery on Sunday 5/14 @ 0627AM. Since she did not get any message from me, she messaged home and was told we had never gotten it. My husband and I talked to Avas since Monday morning with 6 different people and a manager who did not answer and sent directly to voice message system. Each of them said they were the best and could handle this matter but never called us back and had not done anything. The 2nd person on Tuesday 5/16 promised me for the next day 5/17 delivery by 10 AM with a discount 15% and $10 in-store-credit. I waited outside till 11:10 AM and no show.
I called Avas and one lady said she was different from others and would get me flowers ASAP since local designers, who are 7 minutes away from my place, just loaded them. Again, she put me on hold for about 50 min and forgot about me till I called her with a different phone. The worst thing was she asked my order number at that moment again. As of 2 PM 5/17, I have not gotten it and had to deal with 3 others Avas who I had to start all over again. Also I found out Avas would give 10% discount instead of 15% promised.
Although Avas did not do their job, it did not let me cancel the order since it had the delivery confirmation which was not true. Avas ruined my daughter's effort and time for Mother's day surprise which turned out to be our agonies in addition to my 2 days off from work. Now, only option we have is request a dispute to Credit company. My advise is do not use Avas unless you want to test yourself how high your blood pressure can be raised.

This company is horrible. I ordered flowers for Same Day Delivery -- because that is what is plastered all over their web site. I gave my Credit Card info for $60. I get an order confirmation with a delivery date of Wednesday (the same day). I then get a call that they are rescheduling it for tomorrow (Thursday), so I ask to cancel. At this point, I get to speak with a "customer service" agent who English is their second language and I have a difficult time understanding. They will not refund my money and continue to deliver the next day -- even though the recipient will not be in town due to a funeral out of town (which is why I was ordering her flowers)... They didn't seem to understand - or CARE - that because they didn't hold up their end of the deal, DELIVERY on Wednesday, I am stuck. She then disconnected my call!

I ordered flowers on the Friday before Mother's Day. They told me they would be delivered by that Saturday. As of Wednesday the following week the flowers never came. I called repeatedly over and over no one could find the flowers. Finally when they did they told me they were delivered which they never were. The company themselves called the recipient. They told them they never got them and this company still refuses to give me my money. No one calls you back when they say they're going to including managers and supervisors. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. They refused to credit me my money back so now I'm out $56 and no flowers. I'm trying to find a corporate number to complain about this company. Please do not do business with them ever. You will regret it.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day at 10:00 am on Friday and their website said that the arrangement was in stock and they were able to deliver for Mother's Day. We get an email on Mother's Day and say that they were unable to deliver the arrangement because they ran out of flowers. NOTE: on this notice it said that orders placed less than 4 days before Mother's Day may be late although nothing was said when they took my money. We get customer service on the line and they check with their designers and they are able to substitute some flowers and get them out to my mom on Mother's Day. I get a email the following Wednesday saying to contact them immediately and when I do they say the arrangement has yet to be delivered and they can offer a 10% deduction, and the new arrangement wouldn't delivered until Tuesday, a FULL 9 DAYS PAST THE DELIVERY DATE. I canceled my order. NEVER AGAIN.

This company is the worst flower company in North America. I should have looked up their reviews before dealing with so shame on me. Mother's day flower delivery was never made. I receive an email on Sunday (Mother's Day) "Due to the upcoming holiday we are unable to deliver this arrangement at the time requested. As mentioned when placing your order over the phone or on our website, all Mother's Day arrangements are under flex delivery for the 13th, 14th, or 15th. We have rescheduled the delivery to our next available delivery date since we did not want to miss out on the recipient receiving something special from you. If you have any issues or would like us to proceed otherwise, please give us a call before the scheduled delivery time at 877.638.6619 or email us at contact@avasflowers.com. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
I emailed them and told them to still deliver them the next available day which I didn't have to do because as the email states if you want to proceed otherwise to get a hold of them. So I get another email and text. The email says to get a hold of them if I want the flowers delivered. WHAT??!! So I email them again and say to deliver them with an "apology note". I get another text from them today (Thursday) and they are still asking if I want them delivered! This after an email on Tuesday thanking me for my patience and they will be delivered! They offered me 10% discount on my order for customer satisfaction... hahaha! DO NOT do business with this company!!!

Ordered our arrangement for my mother in law. She moved and we don't get to see her very often so we ordered a $100 bouquet and the reason we used Avas is because they guaranteed a delivery ON Mother's Day or the day before... Well they weren't delivered on Mother's Day and instead they said they couldn't be delivered until the following Tuesday. So we had no choice but to agree... Then on Tuesday they sent another message saying that they weren't delivered and so I called the girl was so incompetent. Couldn't even answer WHEN they would be delivered?!!? So I just told her to cancel my order and issue me a refund. Worst flower ordering experience I've ever had. I will NEVER order from them again and make sure EVERYONE knows not to use this POS company!

Ordered on Thursday for a delivery on Saturday or no later than Sunday for Mother's Day. They said they could get the flowers there on time but did not. I called, was on hold for 15 mins only to get someone in another country that assured that they would get back to me on why the flowers were not delivered. No one did. I received an email to check on the status of the delivery and did so. When I checked on the status it said the flowers had been delivered. They had not. I called again, held for 10 mins plus, reached a man that said he would call the florist and have them deliver, now 4 days after promised delivery, I said no. He tried to get me to change my mind 3 times by giving me 10% off on the order, I finally had to hang up on him as he put me on hold for the third while he "checked" on the order while trying to get me to change my mind. What a waste of time!!!

Buyer beware!!! Their on-hold message is a flat out lie. They are not locally, family owned. They are a 3rd party, poorly run answering service that has no direct relationships with the local florist. They will tell you what you want to hear. I was told my arrangement was already ready and just awaiting delivery on Saturday at 4 pm, 3 hours after my guaranteed delivery time that I paid an additional fee for. The local florist, now 3 days later just confirmed that she never even received the order until 8 pm that night, well after they were closed and it was scheduled to be delivered for today 5/16, 3 days after and completely missing Mother's Day!

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day and received an email stating they received my order and would deliver by 4:00. Later I got an email stating they were experiencing delays. I called them to cancel the order and they suddenly felt they could make the delivery. I called them to dispute the charge on my credit card and when asking for the name of the customer service rep was told May ** in a poor English accent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered flowers for my Mother for Mother's Day. Avas advertises everywhere "Same Day Delivery." I thought, "well, this is a long shot, but I'll try." Four Days have gone by now and still no delivery. Called and received no apology, nothing. Beware - Scam!!

My card was charged. They said they didn't have the flowers that I requested - which they said they could order no problem. Then, they said they tried to get a hold of me to ask what I'd like sent. My card was charged, I didn't hear from them and only found out they weren't delivered because I specifically asked my MIL. What if you sent to a funeral? Are you going to call the bereaved and check to see if the flowers came?! Doubtful. You would have paid for flowers and they would have never arrived and you'd never know. Why does it say that they are local when they are not local?

Ordered flowers for funeral. Wanted a standing cross like one pictured but with orange, purple, yellow and red flowers. This was for my grandmother's funeral. Paid over $225.00. What I got was the second picture which is NOTHING like a standing cross. Tried to get help reversing charges since I used my Capital One card. At first charges reversed. When I filed a dispute sent in all pictures and a detailed explanation of what happened. Capital One allowed this to go through! It is absurd that I had to pay over $225 for this arrangement.
This company Avas Flowers is a complete rip off. Do not order from them. They promise to make exactly what you want. Take advantage of your grief then send a different arrangement knowing damn good and well you won't be able to do anything about it. Capital One says it has your back and then refuses to honor their promises either. This has been so frustrating so please go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. The arrangement I received costs less than $80 on their website. Avas flowers a complete scam company.

TOOK MY MONEY, NEVER CAME! Took my $100 and never showed up. Then I called and they said, "Sorry, here is 10% back" (which I never got back) and said we were a priority and they would deliver next day on mother's day... Still nothing. Next day... still nothing! The lady was LAUGHING!!! LAUGHING!!! WTH?? So my 85-year-old grandmother sat at home for days and didn't go out for something that never showed. Never using them again. I want my money back.

Stay away from this company!!! I looked for same day delivery flowers and gifts as my husband will travel on the next day. I am out of town so I can't contact their number and had a friend contact them instead. Had a very bad experience and so stressful that they deserve to have a legal complaint. I even asked my friend's credit card as my card keep failing to transact. They are deceiving consumers/customers by their ads. All along I thought they have many branches. It seems they just contacting flower shops. They can even get your money easily from your credit card. This company is a fraud! How come it's still surviving??!! It's so frustrating thinking they got money from our hard earned work. I asked a friend in US to call their number and they said the order won't be deliver today. Seriously??!!! Then why having an ad as "same day delivery"??!! Until now they don't reply to my emails. Please beware of this AVAS FLOWERS.

Ordered flowers for a Friday delivery, received a text Saturday that the flowers would not be delivered until the following Tuesday. Two attempts to cancel the order on Saturday ended with a transferred call to a supervisor being "disconnected". Each call to customer service lasted 45 minutes before it was disconnected. Never was able to cancel the order.

My husband placed an order for Mother's Day, May 14th. I did not receive anything. He called and they told him I would have them today May 15th and credited him $6.48. He calls back again today and tells them he wants a refund and they refused and credited him $15 and told him I would have the delivery by 7pm on Wednesday May 17th. Why even bother now? What is the point 4 days after you were supposed to receive them? Never again will we do business with them. If you cannot deliver then refund the money.

DO not order from this company!!! My daughter ordered flowers for Mother's Day and they never came Sunday or Monday. I told my daughter to call them and cancel but she said they were coming Monday. They didn't. I spoke to my daughter and said they aren't coming. So I called. Needless to say I was rudely spoken to and told, "Due to the holiday we are backed up." Excuse me lol. It's Mother's Day. I called my daughter and said, "I think you are getting ripped off." This company is overseas. Yes people. DO NOT USE!!! My daughter said she can't cancel. Well my fiance is an attorney and they will be getting a letter from him. I asked my daughter to call her credit card company. I mean it's Tuesday no flowers. I feel bad for her not me. Buyer beware. Use FTD or a local florist. This company is a SCAM!!!

I ordered flowers for a dear friend who was alone on Mother's Day. I explicitly checked to ensure they'd be delivered by Saturday before. When I didn't hear from her about the flowers, I checked in with her and learned they'd never been delivered. I called on Monday and was told that the contractor who was supposed to deliver the flowers didn't make it on Saturday but would deliver a bigger, fresher bunch on Monday. Who wants Mother's Day flowers the day after?! I was offered a 10% rebate, which isn't much on a $78.00 bill. I was very disappointed and wrote a note to the company. I received a quick response, but nothing was done to either assure me the subcontractor would be sanctioned, or to rectify the failed promise of delivery. I am a very disappointed customer and will not use this company again.

I live 1,800 miles away from my daughter who recently had surgery. What any father would do is send flowers, right. I placed an order online on 5/11/2017 for same day delivery. They just got delivered today 5/15/2017 at 4:15 pm EST. After numerous calls on 5/11, 5/12 and 5/13, in which I was on hold much longer than talking to a representative, no final decision was given. Originally, they stated they would give me a full refund and deliver flowers free of charge. I called the next day, still no flowers.
On the next call a representative said no notes on the full refund, but offered me 10% discount and they would deliver 2 dozen roses. Immediately told the representative, negative, I want my full refund and not to deliver any flowers. Did not call on Mothers Day, because I did not want to be further disappointed. So talking with my daughter a few minutes ago, she says, "Dad, a flower delivery truck was coming down the driveway." Flowers delivered, but not the ones I ordered! The worst $85 I have ever spent on anything in my life! AGAIN, DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS!!!

I called and spoke to a person who led me to believe I was talking to a store. I asked if he has lilacs and he said he "just a got a delivery this morning." I order a specific arrangement and he told me he would have to charge me $74 for what I wanted. I actually increased the order to $104 - 10 lilacs and 6 blue hydrangeas. The arrangement that was sent had no lilacs, tulips and roses, and only 2 hydrangeas. I tried to call and email but was emailed that "We say all over our website we may substitute flowers." When I called no one could help me. I sat on hold with 5 different people for over 20 minutes. I didn't order from website. They gave me $10 store credit. Will never use them again.

I placed an order for Mother's Day, scheduled to deliver on Friday. Then I get a text to call them, they can't deliver today but can deliver Saturday. No delivery on Saturday. This morning I went to Avas website to track the order and it said they delivered on Saturday; they didn't deliver until Monday, and it was not what I ordered. They were a mix up of roses that looked like a child cut them from the yard and put them in a vase. They were not arranged with baby's breath or greenery; the leaves were not trimmed. When I called they put me on hold, then offered to deliver two dozen red roses. I said that would be great if she were my girlfriend, not my mother. I told her I wanted a refund. Back on hold only to be looped into a survey about Avas Flowers. I ended up calling my credit card company and filing a dispute of the charges.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day to be delivered Saturday 5/13/17 based on available delivery dates on Avas Flowers website. I paid a premium delivery charge for delivery on the weekend. I received a call Saturday at 2:13 PM stating the florist could not deliver that day and they asked if they could deliver Sunday instead. I agreed informing the customer service person I had chosen Saturday assuming Sunday, Mother's Day would be busier. We both agreed to delivery Sunday. I received a second call at 2:16 stating that they can deliver on Sunday but they will need an additional $20 premium to deliver Sunday. I informed the customer service rep that would not be acceptable as I only rescheduled as a courtesy to them. I informed the rep I would like a refund since I could order from Amazon Prime now and get a gift faster and for less.
After being placed on hold again I was informed they "would do their best and deliver the flowers Sunday." As my mother in law has stage 4 cancer and this is likely her last Mother's Day I informed the rep that doing their best to deliver is not the same as "will" deliver Sunday. I asked for a refund if they could not deliver on time. I was again placed on hold. This time I spoke with a manager who had no idea why she was speaking with me. I rehashed the issue, let them know that I just wanted a refund if they could not deliver. Instead I was told I would receive a discount for the inconvenience and a discount for future purchase as well as the flowers would be delivered Sunday. This took a total of 28 minutes and caused me to miss a movie showing I had already paid for.
Sunday came and went - NO flowers were delivered. I received a text messaging "URGENT: Please Contact AVAS FLOWERS @ (877) 638-6619 about your order#**. No Reply no response text." Monday morning at 10:07 AM. I also received a voicemail from Ann at Avas Flower stating, "Due to the Mother's Day holiday season we are unable to deliver your arrangement at the time you requested. So we will be putting your order on hold. We will only proceed with your order ma'am if we hear your feedback. So thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact us at your soonest availability. Thank you have a good day." My husband then called back and they told him that I had authorized Monday delivery. He had to spend another 12 minutes on the phone with someone who sounded like she was in the restroom. We have been told a refund will be issued but it will take up to 10 days to refund the money.

I started to order a mother's day bouquet for my fiance and stopped because the website stated it may not be delivered on the date I requested. I then called and spoke to a representative who, over the phone, selected the incorrect product and I had him choose the right one ($90.00), then told me that it would be delivered within 4 hours. Needless to say, my fiance did not receive any flowers (I had other surprises though lol). When I checked the order, I was charged for the more expensive arrangement ($130.00), my fiance's name was spelled incorrectly, and she hadn't received them two days after it was supposed to be received. I did get a hold of a floor manager who gave me a refund. It was definitely a disappointment and, sad to say, I don't think I will ever order or refer anyone to Avas.

Ordered flowers on Friday before Mother's Day and online they said they could deliver on that day, Friday. After an hour of ordering online, received text saying call them. Confirmed with a rep that they were sorry, but they could not deliver on Friday - but could deliver next day, Saturday, and they increased my order for the inconvenience. Called Mom on Sunday and in tears she told me she received no flowers for Mother's Day! Called on Monday and rep didn't even know the order had not been delivered. She said order was scheduled for today, Monday. Demanded full refund, which they eventually agreed to after deciding NOT to charge me for the $18.00 for UPS which they tried to do, and I will not be using this company ever again.

Ordered flowers from these guys on May 12, 2017 for same day delivery on May 13 before Mother's day. These people don't deliver flower, sends you nothing but survey emails, and hangs up on you when you call to request for refund. I paid 83.93 for flowers and they refuse to give back money, saying the florist haven't contacted them with update on flowers. I had read reviews before I had ordered but was desperate. This is very unfair of them. Feels like they're stealing from customers.

This is the 2nd time Avas Flowers did not deliver when promised. In both cases they totally missed the event and delivered the flowers 2 days after. The customer service team gave us the runaround and did not offer a valid answer as to why the delivery was not made when promised. We will never use them again.

On Friday, May 12th we ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mother in law. I looked online to find a reputable florist in her area, as she lives about 60 miles away, and chose Avas Flowers. They made it seem like they were a local florist, but actually are in NJ and "use" local florists to do their work, which we found out after the fact. We spend $84.99 plus $14.00 handling. We chose a beautiful bouquet called Bewitchingly Beautiful, which has many big pink roses, a ceramic purple vase along with many pink and purple flowers. It was supposed to be delivered on Saturday the 13th before 1 o'clock.
Saturday came and went with no delivery and no word on what was going on. On Sunday morning we got an email that they were going to try to re-deliver the flowers. Re-deliver? They did not try to deliver them on Saturday. Finally at about 2:30 my mother in law texted that she got them and sent a picture. I was appalled!!! It was NOT what we ordered and paid for.
I emailed Avas only to have them not take responsibility for THEIR name and work. I don't care if you contract out the work, it has YOUR NAME on it. The flowers that were delivered were sparse, with lots of baby's breath filler and a cheap clear green vase and a big purple bow. Ugh! I was so embarrassed. The only thing Avas said to us was that we could have a $20 credit and that they cannot control what other florists do. I sent comparison pictures to Avas, but they did not care. What a bad and sad way to do business. I put a negative review on Trust Point, which immediately came down, Trust Point emailed me for "proof" such as an invoice because Avas had contacted them to complain about my review. I ordered online and only had a confirmation email, no invoice. Shame on Avas Flowers!!! Absolutely do not use this "florist". I will be disputing the charge for these "flowers" with my bank. I refuse to pay for them.

I ordered flowers, even upgraded and added a balloon and paid extra for express delivery as to ensure a 1 P.M. or earlier time slot. By 4 P.M. I called the company and they told me not to worry, it would still be delivered and they needed to contact their designer. By 7 P.M. I phoned back and they said not to worry, it will go out first thing Mothers Day morning (I had previously asked for a Sat delivery to ensure she enjoyed them for the whole weekend).
Today is Mother's Day and now it is 7:32 P.M. in which deliveries finish as 7 P.M. according to the 8th person I have now spoke with. I have been hung up on three times and spoke with 5 people including one manager. These people barely speak English, read from a script, and are kind but not helpful and just trying to feed me a line. I have been requesting a refund but that is when they hang up on me. I guess I will need my credit card company to reverse the charges at this point. I wish I had read reviews before ordering. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are a fraud!!!

If there was a way to give them 0 stars, I would and I wish I would have read the reviews before I decided to make a purchase. I placed my order on May 12th with a delivery date for May 13th. Paid my money and never received a confirmation e-mail. May 13th comes and the flowers were never delivered and I was never updated about this. These were flowers for Mother's Day for my Mother. Today May 14th as of 7:30 pm on MOTHER'S DAY, the flowers still have not been delivered. I called Avas about 5 times today inquiring about the status of delivery and each time I was told "The flowers are in transit".
The last time I called they decided to be honest and tell me the delivery wasn't going to be made until May 15th. I am in the process of trying to get a refund and it's like pulling teeth to get it. Every time I ask for a refund they say "How about a discount" or "We will upgrade your flowers arrangement". I will never spend money with this business ever again because they're unreliable. I am extremely disappointed that I paid for a product and the company didn't even update me on the status of the delivery and are avoiding giving me a refund. Even more disappointed that my mom didn't get any flowers on Mother's Day.

If you are thinking about ordering from this company, DON'T DO IT! My father was in the hospital this week and did not have time to plan anything for Mother's Day. He was discharged Friday night and I did an online search for flower delivery to see if it was still possible to get something sent to my mom. This company popped up and without thinking, we ordered from them. Normally I do a good deal of internet research before I use a new company but we were exhausted from the medical up and downs of the week. I guess that will teach me to skip my homework. We ordered flowers and chocolates and selected Mother's Day for the delivery date. The website did warn us that they might be delivered a day early due to the high demand which was fine.
So, about 30 minutes ago I get a voicemail from the company, saying that the order won't be delivered today because they had too many orders and didn't even have enough flowers. The message said they just got in another truck of flowers and would make something "nice" to send to my mother the next day. Naturally I was very upset and went back to look at their website where I reviewed their policies. Apparently they have a policy that any orders put in within 4 days of Mother's Day cannot be guaranteed for delivery by actual Mother's Day. Oh, and there are no cancellations or refunds on these orders either.
That policy was nowhere on the order page and certainly was not shown when I selected May 14th as the delivery date. Either they are deeply incompetent or super shady. Either way - now, I get to call my Dad, who is terminally ill, and tell him that he will not have flowers to give to his wife on the last Mother's Day they will ever spend together. So, long story short, if you need flowers then save yourself the headache and choose any other flower delivery company.

I placed my order for my relative's birthday; on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 7:54 pm for delivery for Saturday, May 13, 2017!! I printed out the receipt stating that delivery would be NO LATER than 7 PM Saturday night? I was willing to spend $77.92 for flowers & (1) balloon? Free Delivery! Their website GUARANTEED SAME DAY DELIVERY??? Yet, MY ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED?? I attempted to contact them since their website also states open 7 days; with Customer Service 24 hours! Only to find out that THEY WERE CLOSED on Saturday?? SO MUCH for CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Then I receive a call on Sunday that they apologized for NOT delivering my order BUT THEY could Deliver my order by Tuesday??? With a discount??? I JUST SAID "NO!" Then I get an email stating that I would receive my refund 3 - 10 business days??? THEIR WEBSITE IS FULL OF LIES and VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Don't waste your time with this Flower shop!

I ordered Mother's Day flowers. The delivered flowers were nothing like the description or picture of what I picked out. It looked like someone just took leftover crap off the table and shoved them in a vase and then filled it with cheap greenery. I never thought flowers could look ugly but they did. I cried when I saw them. Avas wouldn't tell me who arranged and delivered them. They did offer me a $10.00 refund and a $10.00 credit. I will never use the credit. I can't trust them to do a good job or be true to their customer satisfaction.

I ordered a mother's day bouquet online to be delivered to my daughter. The $69 assorted bloom bouquet seemed a little small for the cost, but the real problem was that the roses were already dying. When I called their 800 customer service number, the seemingly rattled representative initially promised a FIFTEEN dollar refund and 20% discount but they did NOT offer to redeliver a fresh bouquet. At the end of the call, I was told that my TEN dollar refund and discount had been processed. The refund email notified me that I had been sent a $6.50 refund. Not wanting to hold again for 5 minutes when calling them again, I replied to their refund email describing my complaint, asking for resolution. Their automatic reply said it would take up to 5 business days just for a response. Never again will I (nor should you) order anything from Avas Flowers again. Buyer Beware.

I ordered same day delivery flowers for Mother's Day 3 days before the holiday. The flowers were not delivered and Avas did not call, text or email. I tried to track the order online and the response I received was "The order could not be found". I called to speak to customer service and was hung up on 4 times. The first time you enter the order number the recording claims the order number could not be found. It does confirm the second time so this is obviously a scam. When I finally got the "manager" on the phone he claimed they could not match the flower colors so it delayed the order.
When asked why someone didn't notify me about the delay he could only apologize. They have disclaimers all over the site saying if you don't place orders more than 4 days prior to the delivery date there is no guarantee that the order will be fulfilled. They DO however process payment immediately. I will never use Avas again and I would never recommend Avas to anyone.

I ordered a Mother's Day delivery of flowers, balloons, and chocolates. The gentleman who took my order confirmed that it would be delivered the same day I ordered between 2:00-4:00 PM. When 4:00 rolled around and they hadn't been delivered to my mother, I called Avas Flowers to check on the status of my order. I called their number and pressed the correct option for current orders to get to the correct department, and nobody answered the phone. I sat on hold for 16 minutes, was prompted with a survey about my experience (even though I never spoke to anyone), and then the line disconnected. I called back and went through this same sequence about six times, literally.
So I finally pressed the option to reach the Sales Department where orders are placed just so I could get a live human on the phone. I explained my situation and was put on hold yet again, 15 minutes later was prompted with a survey and the line disconnected. I went through THIS sequence about 10 more times before finally getting angry. The last 4 times I called I BEGGED not to be put on hold and even DEMANDED not to be put on hold, yet I continued to be placed on hold and transferred to no-man's-land. I requested to speak to a manager - nothing. I tried contacting Billing to get a refund - sat on hold, no answer, survey, disconnected.
Avas Flowers claims to be family owned and operated on their hold music - which I know by heart now after listening to it for nearly two hours - but don't be fooled. This is a large-scale, corporate, call center. These people do NOT work in local communities at local flower shops. These are call center representatives who lack basic phone and communication skills. They're very quick to take your money but want no part of any problematic situation. Do not order from these people. This was the worst experience I've ever had not only with a floral company but with any company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I searched for "Florist near 75115" and Avas was one of the "local" florists that popped up. After browsing 4 different websites, I went with Avas because they offered free delivery and I liked the arrangement. When I checked-out, there was a $13.95 "handling charge", which is the same as a delivery fee, so I went ahead and ordered them. My MIL sent a picture of the flowers that were delivered and holy crap, what a huge disappointment! They were literally slung into a vase that was too big. It looked nothing at all like the picture on the website.
I Googled them again to get an address so I could stop by tomorrow and the ConsumerAffairs website popped up. It had 444 negative complaints! As if that wasn't bad enough, they aren't even in TX, they are located in NJ. I am so mad right now, that I actually got up out of bed to write this! It should be illegal to say that you're local, when you clearly are not. I called the 24-hour/7-day a week customer service number for Avas and guess what? No one answered the phone, it's just a recording. I sent them an email with a picture of the flowers that were delivered and requested a refund. I'll call them in the morning. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!

I am very dissatisfied with the flower arrangement I got from Avas Flowers for Mother's Day. I got a small, but very small arrangement of 6 roses and 6 carnations for Mother's Day. My children were charged over $123.00 dollars for this small arrangement. I did call customer service and they only wanted to refund $13.00 dollars for sending a clear vase instead of a green vase. I do not know if the refund will happen since the customer agent hung up his phone while I was still talking. I truly believe that my children were taken advantage and robbed since the arrangement looked like a $20 or $30 dollar arrangement at the most. We will NEVER order from this site ever again.

Avas Flowers could never find a florist in a LARGE city that would accept their order. Avas Flowers NEVER bothered to call me and make me aware of the situation so I could take matters in my own hands and order directly from a local florist to ensure my mother received flowers on her 70th birthday. I am furious!!! When I contacted Avas the customer rep told me what happened and like a slap in the face he offered me a 10% discount. Really? A 10% discount on WHAT? Flowers that were NEVER delivered? I told the rep, "Absolutely not" and "That would not resolve the problem" and that I demanded a FULL refund and I was hung up on. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS "FLORIST." IT IS A SCAM. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR GUARANTEES!

I ordered flowers for my brother's funeral on a Thursday for the funeral out of state for me on a Sunday. It has been a week and a half and hours spent on the phone with them and still no refund. This has made a bad time for my family and I even worse. We were not represented at his funeral service. I am on disability with a fixed income. I do not have money to spend on a product never received. Do Not use this company. I only wish that I had looked at the reviews before ordering.

I wish I did research before buying these flowers. The flowers were supposed to be delivered by 2 pm and they still haven't arrived. I called to see where they are and they couldn't give me an answer. I told them my wife is leaving work soon and they said, "I don't know what to tell you." Spend the few extra dollars on a local florist. This company is a scam.

When I contacted Avis Flowers last night they gave me a price and a size for the floral arrangement. When I reviewed my invoice they had downsized the flower arrangements and lied. When I contacted them this morning they put me on hold several times and made it extremely difficult to cancel the order. At this point I have lost complete confidence in this company.

I ordered flowers early May 6 2017 for my daughter's birthday which was on the 7th but since I knew that would be a problem I wanted them there a day early. I received a confirmation on Saturday around 6 pm that the flowers had been delivered. Called my daughter and she came informed me that she had not received the flowers. I called customer service and they confirmed they had a confirmation that they were delivered. I asked for a refund but was told that they had to contact the driver about the flowers. I called Monday morning and was told they talked to the florist but the driver was not in and they would call me back.
Eight hours later I called them and they told me the driver said there was no one at home which was a lie because they were aware that there would be a delivery on Saturday and even if that was the case which it was not there should have not sent a delivery confirmation. I once again asked for a refund but was told that they were delivering the flowers on Monday. I told them that I don't want the flowers delivered 2 days later and I want a refund. They told me they would give me 10% off my next order. Are you Kidding me???? After this I am going to make it my personal mission to trash this company for the poor customer service and the deceptive practice that they used.

I ordered Sunflowers for my Husband (with a hurt back) to be delivery the same day (Friday at his apartment) from the website. I got a phone call from the Avas flowers stating that they did not have the arrangement and would upgrade my order to roses and it would be delivered the next day and not the same day. I agreed. I get a text message for stating that the flowers were delivered. Checked with Hubby. No flowers. I called Avas and first rep tells that the flowers were delivered. Just left at the door because the person was not sure which door. There was no phone call to even let my Husband know that the roses were at the door.
I state to them I want a refund because that was not happy the service that I paid for. Then she puts me on hold for 5min, comes back with an offer for another arrangement and a discount. I stated no thank you and that I just want my full refund. I get placed on hold for 10 min and I am transferred to another rep and he does the exact same thing with another offer exactly the same, after I have already stated that I am not happy with service. Then I am told that I will only get refunded 40.00 and that they would keep 18.00 because they would lose out because the flowers were delivered.
If they are even concerned how a product is delivered why should I the consumer still get penalized for their mistake. I asked my Husband to check the door. He got his roses and the thorn were still on the roses! I went this place because they are local. I live in Alabama. Never again and I will do better research on the customer service. I advise everyone to the same.

Their 5-star rating on their website is only due to their nice customers who are obviously clueless as to how bad this company is. Scenario: Ordered a plant for my daughter... no email confirmation (first clue this was going bad!), delivered wrong plant. Promised email confirmation never received... was on the phone so much with "supervisors" …joke. They tried to swoon me into taking offers... NO! Will probably never get my refund. Am going to have to eat this one... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not order from this scam of a company! They are a scam. My favorite is that they have to talk to their "floral designers". WHAT??? I ordered a funeral plant to be delivered to a church for a family member. I asked the lady on the phone several times if they were located in the city and she said yes. I ordered and she gave me a price and sent an email with a receipt. A few minutes later I got another email that said to contact them. I called and was told that I had to pay an additional $20 to have the plant delivered. I was told that the fee I was quoted, all in, including the "service fee" including delivery was $62.92. They wanted an additional $20 because the local floral shop they were using would not deliver to the church unless they had the $20. What a scam, I had them cancel my order and refund the money, still waiting on the refund!

I ordered a flower arrangement for my sister 50th wedding anniversary. The arrangement cost $214.95. I asked for the delivery on May 3rd. It is now 9 P.M. No flowers have been delivered. I made numerous calls. When I call questing my order. The floor supervisor said they will call me tomorrow to let me happened. What good will that do. THANKS AVAS FOR SCREWING UP MY ORDER. My family ordered a Carnation/Rose flower arrangement for my aunt's funeral. The regular $79.99 arrangement was on sale for $44.99; With added charges we spent $68. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the funeral and found a tiny bunch of flowers in a tiny vase. The arrangement on their website looked to be 4 times as large as the sad little thing we paid for. My sister contacted customer service and was told we could have $9 back. We could have gone to the grocery store and paid $10 for a bunch of flowers and it would have been nicer. This was a clear case of bait-and-switch. Do not use Avas Flowers; you will be sadly disappointed.

The flowers I paid almost $100 for would have been better chosen from the grocery store. When I contacted 'Customer Service' to tell them how unhappy I was, they said they no longer service that area (I thought they were local!!) so they sent an arrangement in a box. This 'arrangement' did not match the picture at all and I was embarrassed in front of the people receiving the flowers. They would never believe what I spent for what they got - What a waste. I will never use this florist again and I recommend that you don't either.

My husband works in AL, and wanted to surprise me with flowers. He asked for a specific arrangement. They sent a photo of what it would look like. They were suppose to come on Tuesday, they came Wednesday. And was nothing like the picture. I gave an opportunity to replace them and the second delivery was worse than the first. I called for a refund. First it took them 8 tries and three people to locate the order then they offered to use a different florist and when you refuse and just want a refund and be done with it they tell you - you don't qualify for a full refund unless you allow them to use a different florist. I did that. They were suppose to be here Friday before 3pm. They were not. I called Monday (today) to again request a refund and they said I had to wait 24 hours to get approval from another person and wanted me to call in and see if they got a response. The worst customer service...
I just don't get it. Takes them 5 seconds to take your money but you have to go through an obstacle course to get it back after they mess up. I would not EVER recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get what they request, good quality, on time delivery, and good customer service... If you don't care call them up. Otherwise my suggestion is just go with another place.

I ordered a plant to be delivered on a specific day because any other day after specified day the recipient was leaving Texas for her father's funeral in California. I explained this to the man taking my order and he assured me they would arrive the day I specified. (I could barely understand him. Very heavy accent.) When the flowers didn't arrive, I spoke with 7 different people and got nowhere! Finally, the plant arrived 3 days later and I was charged $82.00 instead of $49.00. Avas Flowers is a total scam!! This company presents itself like a local company online and when you call but their call center is outside the US (seems like in India) and I've had the worst experience with them I've ever had. I ordered sympathy flowers for same-day delivery at 8:30 am. After 3 phone calls and two texts they've now told me at 1:30 pm they can't deliver it. They asked if a different bouquet tomorrow would be okay and I said "No. If that's the best you can do, cancel the order." They said they would "try" to deliver it today. Then 3 hours later telling me they cannot but they will deliver what I ordered tomorrow "for the same price". Unbelievable. I insisted on a discount and got a whopping 5%. I only hope the flowers are not as awful as their service. Don't be fooled and order from these people. They had good reviews on Google but now I think they have to be made up reviews.

They take your money and order, then Call a Real Florist in the City and State that you want your flowers delivered. They will promise you anything to make the sell, charge you service fees AND make a commission off the order. Actually, off of you. Call a real Local Florist in the City and State you want flowers delivered. Get FULL value for money spent and keep flower costs lower!

The flowers were NOTHING like pictured. In the photo about 12 to 15 Iris and some Tulips. Was beyond disappointed and EMBARRASSED when my colleague sent a photo. It was all green with ONLY 3 Iris'. They even used ugly green filler that you see with cheap flowers. I could have bought a beautiful arrangement for a fraction of the cost at the grocery store. After wasting more of my time contacting the company, they offered a terrible discount of 10%, thank for the $6 back or to send another arrangement, I would have looked like a fool. WORST EXPERIENCE! JUST DON'T! Like many others have stated, I wish I had the option to rate this farce of a company, zero stars. This operation is a total & complete scam & ripoff! For starters a $54.99 arrangement -- which was supposedly a "discounted price" with "free delivery" ended up costing nearly $100. When I questioned them on why the price jumped up so high, when delivery was supposedly free, I was told there was a "handling fee", AND it sounded like they also charged me to include a message, of all things. Suffice it to say, the entire experience was a nightmare. Ultimately, what was pictured as a beautiful arrangement, on their website, was absolutely nothing like the pathetic, 1/2 dead, ugly, unrecognizable "arrangement" that was delivered. It didn't even remotely resemble what was ordered. I was embarrassed that my name was on what was received by my best friend.
In trying to resolve the situation with these scam artists, I wasted nearly 45 minutes on the phone, on hold, and being passed from department to department. Each time, I was assured I was being transferred to the "correct" department that could resolve my issue. That was not the case, but each time I was transferred, I was required to repeat all the pertinent, identifying information. Out of sheer frustration, I finally agreed to allow them to contact their vendor in an attempt to re-deliver the correct arrangement "within the next 2 days". That time period has passed, and it is no surprise to me that a second arrangement was never delivered. What was supposed to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers, was a total and complete waste of nearly $100. This place should be shut down. STAY AWAY!

I ordered the flowers online and upgraded to a more expensive arrangement of the flowers and somehow the computer sent in order for both the regular and the upgrade. They delivered to the same person, from the same people, on the same day both bouquets. My phone number was on the order. They never called me to ask about it even though they should have figured it was totally stupid that anybody would order two bouquets to the same person. When I responded to their inquiry about rating their service I never got a reply. If they don't have any better sense than to do business this way I don't know what else they might do. I will never do business with them again. Wished I'd have checked more reviews before I ordered from them.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my son and daughter-in-law for Passover. They arrived at a non-delivery time, were not as pictured/ordered. Half of the plant material was brown and dead. I paid top dollar for this arrangement. I complained. Today I was contacted by a representative from Avas, who said they will refund $10 to my charge card and give me a $15 credit on my next order. Really? A $10 credit is an affront, and as for a credit... Would I use this company again? No way!

My mom thought that AVAS was a flower company in NV. Very disappointed about this delivered service of the flower shop. They charge for an 8x11 sheet of paper folded in quarters $3.99 for a greeting card, not even decorated with color and the ribbon was $3.99. The flowers went wrinkled in 5 days. My mom paid above and beyond. Will not use the service again and will remind my friends not to use them... very disappointed.

Avas was very unprofessional in sending me an urgent text to call you. When I did call, no one knew what I was referring to. I got the impression that you would not be able to deliver the flowers I requested and paid for on time or at all. I kept up my end of the bargain but you could not. All I got from you were excuses like "we had a lot of funerals to do early in the morning." Why should I care about that? I already had a bad feeling about Avas Flowers when I first called in on the internet special and Avas pulled a bait and switch with higher prices. With the made up fees or flower artist fee? I don't pay an extra artist fee when I get my sandwich made at Subway, so I shouldn't have to pay extra for an artist to make my bouquet.

I will not give this company even one star. They are terrible. What I ordered and what was received were two completely different items. Initially I did not know this was an internet company. I called what I thought was a local florist and they assured me I would get exactly what I requested. I then got a call from the recipient who told me they arrived. Later that evening I got a call from a gentleman who spoke very poor English. I couldn't understand him. As it was late I called the next day and was told the flowers were not delivered as I did not give the correct address. I knew then that this was going to be an awful experience.
The flowers were absolute garbage and I was mortified! Not close to what I expected. I then purchased more flowers from a very trusted local florist and hand delivered them. To anyone going online or calling for flowers, if the name Avas comes up, do not and I repeat do not place an order with them. They are nothing more than a scam!

It took me at least 1.5 hours on the phone with their broken English speaking customer service that seems to be located in a barn to get them to refund my money. I called 3 different times and spoke with 4 different people 3 of which kept beating around the bush trying to get me to not cancel the order and allow them to deliver the order 2 days later. Their ad online stated SAME DAY DELIVERY, and then only on your receipt (after you place your order) you can find fine print that the delivery time initially given to you is not guaranteed. They charged my credit card instantly after I placed the order and sent me an order confirmation email about an hour later, about 4 hours after that they sent me another email saying that my order will not be delivered on time and that it will be delivered at a later date, which was not given to me. I called customer service.
At some point of my fight for a refund I seriously thought that it's a scam and they don't even deliver flowers, how bad they were trying to keep the money. Horrible experience, rude customer service representatives who I could barely understand, moreover they talk over you and completely ignore anything you say, especially when it comes to a refund.
They are also liars. The second person I spoke with told me that he had processed my refund and I will get a confirmation email in 5-10 minutes, which didn't happened, so I had to call back twice more until I got a person who legitimately processed my refund and I received the confirmation email before I got off the phone with him. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any business in the past, it's unacceptable. Will never use them again and do not recommend them to anyone at all whatsoever. Take your time to do your research and make an educated decision on who to use if you're new to ordering flower delivery.

This has been the most unorganized, disaster! They did not deliver when they said they would. Made false promises and then showed no concern that they would not be delivered in time for an anniversary gift. They then try to offer a 10% discount for a future order as some type of compensation. On the 3rd day, they show up in a box dropped off by UPS flown in overnight from New Jersey. (We live in Florida) They are now withered and discolored. They are definitely not worth the hassle. This is also the review that I left on their site, and all it said was it had been submitted for review. It will never make it public.

Nothing I ordered was right. $4.99 for a full size greeting card, received a printout of what I wanted in the card. $4.99 for a green vase received a clear one. Only one flower that was received was in the picture. When it says rose and carnation bouquet one would think some carnations would be included but none were. I spent almost $90 on something I could have bought at the grocery store for $6 and they would have looked better. They didn't even deliver by the time they said they would. I was mortified when I saw what I had paid for walk through the door. I am disputing the charge through my card and am going to try and speak with the company but from what I have read today I am sure it is a waste of time. I also did a review on their site but it looks like they only show the good ones which I am amazed there a really any.

This flower company is a joke. I placed an order for my mom and I am very, very disappointed. In the end result the item that she received was nothing like what I ordered and was charged for. I took pictures of item I ordered and the item that was delivered and sent them to customer service. I called as requested by customer service. And after expressing my displeasure with the item received the representative insisted that there was nothing they were going to do. So I asked to speak with a supervisor and she stated that she could not do that. I went to my local florist which is the one that delivered the order. I was shown the order they received from Avas and so I showed them my actual ordered which was confirmed via email with total price that I paid, and the actual order they received was much less.
I was also told from local florist that they have had issues in the past but nothing like this. And they will from today forward will reject every order they receive from them. I do not want anyone else having to go through the dissatisfaction that I have. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM. Their website looks legit and states they are a family owned florist for forty years. And they state if for any reason you are not happy with the product that you receive call customer service for a resolution or refund. NOT TRUE IN THE LEAST. Please pass this information on to everyone you know. Photos attached. #1 arrangement ordered and paid for. #2 arrangement received.

I was trying to send flowers to funeral of a friend that I had not seen in many years. I know I was somewhat late in ordering the flowers. It was 10:30 AM and the service was at 3:00 PM. Being in a hurry, looked online for a florist in the town as the service. I chose the first one that came up as a florist in Rockdale Texas. I should have known something was wrong because the agent taking the order did not seem familiar with the Church or the Funeral Home but I put my trust in him. I stayed on a long hold while the agent, "checked with his designer" to be sure they had the flowers in stock and that there would not be a problem filling the order. I was assured that the designer was going to get right on the order and they would be delivered to the church before the service.
At 1:30 PM I received a call from AVA'S saying that the truck had broken down and that they would not be able to deliver the flowers that day. They wanted to know if it would be OK to deliver them the next day. Hello!!! the funeral was not the next day. I told them to get in their car and deliver them. That is when I found out that they were in New Jersey. They offered to send two dozen roses, THE NEXT DAY!!! I told them I just wanted a credit to my credit card. They still tried to convince me to take delivery the next day!!!
Finally they transferred me to the department that could process my refund. He tried to convince me to take the delivery the next day!!! They should have informed me that they were just a go between agent and I would have called a true local florist. As a result my friend's family did not get any flowers from me. Two lessons learned from this. NEVER do business with Ava's Flowers and make sure that I am talking to someone who is actually in the city of the funeral.

We placed an order for a floral arrangement on 4/15/2017 requesting delivery for same day 4 PM delivery. The person taking the order assured us that this would be no problem. Even spoke as if the flowers were being arranged at the location the phone call was being answered. Turns out Avas is nothing more than a money taking location. If they even have flowers on site it is probably only pictures. They take the order as if they are a florist then sub out the job like FTD and Teleflora. Then their customer service continues the SCAM. After canceling the order we received an e-mail with the new delivery date. Each attempt to get a confirmation of the cancellation is met with dead ears. I located the delivering local shop and confirmed with them they have received the cancellation from Avas.
Avas still claims the credit is to be paid by the local florist. The local florist has not even received our CC info from Avas, how can they credit or charge the card. Avas in my book is a scam and needs to be avoided. The section below ask for the receipt to be added. I cannot add the receipt as Avas has never provided a receipt and refuses to provide a credit for what has not taken place. No flowers were delivered. The charge is showing on the credit card and we are in the process of disputing the charge.

I ordered a bouquet of Easter flowers and was guaranteed delivery the day before Easter. I agreed and offered that the day before, or on Easter Day was fine. Avas rep said not to worry and guaranteed delivery specifically by 5:00 pm EST the Saturday before Easter. Later on Saturday I received a text saying to call Avas and was informed they could not deliver the Easter flowers until Monday! I told them that was unacceptable and to cancel the order. The Avas rep said it would take 3 to 10 business days to credit my account and I would receive an email confirming cancellation. The cancellation email did not arrive but an email stating that the delivery was still scheduled for Monday. WHAT A SCAM!

Okay, I'm not the one to write reviews good or bad but this place deserves it. I found out about Avas Flowers online, obviously, because I wanted to send my in-laws flowers for Easter. I was in a hurry this day but had come across their website and decided to give it a chance. The first red flag, I had called Avas flowers and the consultant that answered the phone did not speak English very well (not his fault but continuing). I couldn't get a word in without this guy speaking over me. Annoyed but again in a hurry so I continued. The 2nd red flag - When I was done with the call that should've taken me all of 5 minutes but in reality took 20 minutes, the consultant promised me an email confirming my purchase yet NEVER ASKED FOR AN EMAIL until I said "Well don't you want my email?" and his response "OH! Fast forward to the next day, which leads me to Red Flag #3. After checking my emails I was worried as to why I had not received a confirmation email from Avas Flowers as promised so I called in. Different guy, same language problem, gave me my order number and had told me that I never gave the first guy my email... What? Excuse me? Oh and of course on top of that guy #1 had spelled my name wrong, the people that I was sending the flowers to names wrong and also the wrong address. By this time I was fed up which takes us to red flag #4. I asked the consultant to cancel my order in which he INSISTED not to do by badgering me with deals and discounts on my order. After about two minutes of this I wanted none of it and simply just cancel my order so he transferred me to his supervisor.
Which brings me to the 5th and final red flag. Their supervisor was very nice and wanted to help. BUT like his workers he insisted on giving me a discount so I wouldn't cancel my order. After I had said no he placed me on hold for a couple minutes (just about 5) to only tell me that it would take 3-10 business days to receive a refund. Now, this wasn't the problem. The problem was that he told me I'd receive an email regarding my cancellation INSTEAD I received an email confirming that my order was still in place and that the order was still set to go through and arrive on the set date. Now why was I getting this email when I specifically told them not to is beyond me. Long story short I ended calling back, spoke to a manager and he cleared everything up for me. Time well wasted people. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!!!

I wish I had researched this company before ordering flowers. There are many other review sites where people had my identical bad experience. Compare what I ordered versus what they delivered. When I found out, I called the company and asked them to deliver the correct flowers. They put you on hold for 30+ minutes and never let you speak to a manager. Instead of correcting the order, they waited several days and went behind my back and called the person who I ordered the flowers for and talked them into accepting the poor flower arrangement. Then they told me what they did and said the problem was resolved and that my friend agreed to accept the "beautiful flowers." When I told them that was unacceptable, they said they would call my friend and take the flowers back -- a week later -- and then replace them.

I placed an order with Avas Flowers 3 weeks ahead of time of delivery. Delivery never occurred. I phoned and spoke with Michelle who was very apologetic and stated there was a "glitch" in computer system and my order didn't go through (and I did the order over the phone with a Live agent!) She assured me of a re-delivery and a little something extra beside to apologize for the error. This was for my friend's special 60th birthday. I chose Avas because they specifically advertised they delivered to my friend's place of work among other local businesses and schools in Worcester, MA. Only now finding out they aren't even located in MA at all!! The RE-DELIVERY NEVER HAPPENED EITHER!
I now need to attempt to get a refund and from reading other reviews here doesn't look promising. Very unhappy and very sad couldn't give my friend a nice surprise floral arrangement on her special day, and I live 3,000 miles apart, so now she didn't get a gift from me at all. Guess I will have to check out Consumer Affairs site before using any On-Line companies again!!

When I placed the order, I specified that it HAD to be delivered on Friday by noon. I was assured that it would be. It was not. It didn't get there until after 4:00 PM. The doctor that it was going to was leaving at noon, and she is moving to another practice. I STILL don't know if she ever received the flowers. I am extremely disappointed in the service - not at all what I expected for a $137 order!!

First of all, the website advertises this as a "local" company... They are not. It is a call center. I ordered a bouquet to be sent to a friend at school (she is a teacher). I placed the order by 10 am and was assured "same day delivery" by 3 pm. I then received urgent emails and phone calls (over and over) starting at 2:40 pm to notify me that they had been unable to locate a florist to complete the arrangement and delivery. I requested a refund. The customer service agent (who had extremely poor English) told me that was not possible and offered to send the arrangement the next day. I told him, "No, she was having a bad day TODAY, and will not need the arrangement tomorrow. I want a refund."
He then tried to get me to give him her home address to be delivered that evening. I asked how he planned on locating a local florist (who close between 4 and 5 pm) to do the delivery if they had not been able to locate one all day. He stuttered with that question and then offered me a discount on my next order. I became furious at this point and told him (again) that I wanted a refund. He put me on hold.
I explained that no delivery attempt had been made and that per their company's policy, I (the customer) had the right to request a full refund. He then put me on hold again (for 5 minutes) and came back telling me I would receive a refund in 5-7 business days and a confirmation email of a refund within 24-48 hours. Needless to say, I never received either. I am, however, still receiving daily emails and phone calls trying to coerce me into still sending the arrangement, in lieu of giving me a refund! I am filing a complaint with my credit card company today and looking into any other measures available for my rights as a consumer in regards to this company. This is FRAUD!!!

I placed an order for my grandpa who was hospitalized out of state which was delivered on 3/8. I received a picture of the flowers from a family member that was visiting on 3/11. If I lived local I could have bought a nicer bouquet from the grocery store. Honestly, nothing like what I ordered! I also received a follow-up email on 3/11 from Avas flowers to which I responded to with pictures of what I ordered and what was delivered... did not hear anything back. I sent another email on 3/17 and then again on 4/6, neither of which was responded to. I ended up leaving negative feedback on Trustpilot and received a reply from Trustpilot stating that Avas disputed that I was actually a customer.
After providing my receipt Trustpilot reposted my feedback and only then was I contacted by Avas. After several emails and a couple of phone calls they offered me a 10% refund. I found this offer insulting. I told Avas to keep their money that I would rather share my story on social media in an effort to save someone else the aggravation and disappointment. My grandpa passed a couple weeks later and I ordered flowers from 1-800-flowers for my grandma. They were beautiful!!!

My husband ordered the Easter Tulips & Irises Deluxe Bouquet & had flowers delivered to our home. We were having friends over for an elegant dinner in a few hours & wanted purple Irises & yellow Tulips... When he walked into the room with the bouquet I immediately noticed NO Irises!!! The flower arrangement also looked like it was just thrown together & very few flowers for the amount we paid. So I went into my garden & cut what few flowers the cold snap did not get & made mini flower arrangements for our dinner party! Will NEVER order flowers here again!!!

I ordered flowers for a funeral and when I attended the funeral my flowers were not there. Afterwards I contacted them and they said they would redeliver. Redeliver to a funeral that had done passed? I had already been embarrassed that all had seen that I hadn't sent any flowers, but I said okay to redeliver to the family's home instead. Well they never showed up there either. After several call, hours on hold and getting the runaround, I think I am going to get a refund. I'm still not sure. What a horrible experience with this company and at a most vulnerable moment. How did they get such a good rating? Do not use this company!

Ordered flowers at 11:48 am for same day delivery. Received an email at 2:31 pm stating that the flowers had been delivered. When I contacted my wife to see how they were, she told me she had not received anything. I called and spoke with someone who had stated that sometimes the delivery confirmations were sent prior to deliveries being made and that I should wait an hour. I received a call stating that the flowers were delivered to another address. I requested a refund, as I paid $61.93 for a service that was not delivered. I spent 43 minutes on hold waiting to speak with a manager, as the people I was dealing with were not understanding that a refund should be issued due to lack of delivery.
I called again and spoke with a "floor manager" whom did not understand that in the company's own terms and conditions on the website state that "In the event that no delivery attempt was made and the order was not delivered on the requested delivery date, we will offer the customer (i) a re-delivery attempt; (ii) a credit towards the purchase of Products; (iii) a full refund, at the Customer's option." After 19 minutes of explaining that I was indeed due a refund, he put me on hold and finally issued a refund. All told, it took roughly an hour and a half of my day. Never again. I was pleased that a refund was finally issued, but the amount of attempted bartering was ridiculous - 10% off the next order, "beautiful extra roses" in the order already botched. By the end, I felt sorry for these phone bank operators with heavy accents and little experience. Not worth the time or frustration.

Ordered from Avas Flowers because they said they were local, looked local when I was ordering. I had a very specific arrangement I had picked. I left the house after the order was placed and my phone started ringing. The first call was that they didn't have the flowers I had chosen and they wanted to substitute. They said they would upgrade the order to the largest flower size. I had picked the medium size. Because I was no longer in front of my computer I had to deal with this situation. This was a Friday and supposed to be delivered that same day. I agreed to the different style flowers.
About 30 min later, I'm still away from home, can't get in front of a computer for hours, I get the call that they can't deliver them until Saturday. So I gave in. Then about 30 min after that, I got another call that they couldn't be delivered until Monday. Ridiculous. The online options for flower deliveries all look like they are local and clearly are not. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!! If it would allow me to give 0 stars that would be what I would give them. FLIM FLAM operation.

The worst ever. It is 6:45 p.m. I ordered these flowers at 10 a.m. this morning and of 6 p.m. tonight they're NOT delivered. The same old line "Driver is working on it." In addition they claimed free delivery and then charge me $13.95 for "handling." What a nightmare. I am calling Visa tomorrow and claiming fraud.

Ordered flowers for my brother’s funeral. Ordered a large cross of red and white roses, they never called to change order. Did not get what I ordered. They sent some cheap mums with 5 red roses. I had given a list of my children and their family and husband and I to go on card. Floral card had no name on it. This is after 20 min. spelling all the names. Therefore I had no floral for my brother’s funeral. I ordered red and white roses because it was his favorite flower. They act like my brother will have another funeral and they can try again. They quoted me $133.00. My card was charged $262.90. So embarrassing not to have flower for my brother’s funeral. They wanted credit $20.00 for the difference in flowers, what a joke of a company.

There should be an option for less than one star... We placed a flower order to be delivered the next day. We did not get a copy of the order placed, as promised, so I called on the delivery date. The new sales lady said our original order was ready to go and provided a price higher than we were quoted, and for a smaller arrangement. We ordered their Deluxe display. Getting nowhere with her, I asked for a supervisor to talk to. She claimed the order was for a small size as well, a card, and the NEVER-mentioned SERVICE FEE of $13.95. Even then, the total order did not match the quoted order. AvasFlowers supervisor offered us $10 off our next order, but we would still need to pay the Service Fee on this order.
After recognizing the Bait-and-Switch process, we doubted we would ever reorder from them. We declined and asked for a refund. They asked if they could call us back in 1 hour as they wanted to speak to the agent that sold to us. We agreed to wait. They called back in about 10 minutes and claimed they listened to the tape of the original sale and that our order was for a small display. (We surmised that they searched for our original order based on our phone or order number.) They couldn't have listened to the entire tape as our original order conversation lasted longer than it took to call us back. My wife & I wrote down details and read them back at the end of our original order.
We doubt that Avas was able to contact the original seller and discuss any details in such a short time. Rather than lose us as customers and risk a bad, but honest, review, they chose to refund our money, which is $5 less than their originally quoted price, but $20 short of what they wanted to charge us. All we asked them to do was to honor the original price quote. Instead, all we got was frustration on our part, and their apologies, which really doesn't cut the mustard.

I ordered flowers online from Avas. I ordered daisy dreams bouquet. It was supposed to be in a square glass vase with short stems and a lot of flowers. I paid for the deluxe at 54.99 plus a balloon for 7.00 and handling for 14.00. My daughter received a vase of daisies and some carnations and not what I paid for. I've tried talking to them 3 times and they haven't called me back. I have emailed them twice and given them ample time to respond. I want a refund. This was for my daughter's birthday!

They don't even deserve 1 star. I ordered 30 tulips for $69.95 for my sister's bday. She only received 12 tulips that will not last longer than one or maybe 2 days. At first they said they couldn't do anything about it because 'the Invoice is not stating how many tulips were ordered'. Well I'm not the one who wrote the Invoice so nice try. They don't write a detailed invoice so they can cover their behinds if you complain. After 25 minutes on the phone, a supervisor wanted to first pick up the flowers (the next day) and then issue a credit which will take at least 10 days to process. Nice try again! I simply called Amex to dispute the charge. Never, ever trust this company. They rely on the fact that usually people receiving the Flowers say thank you to the sender without going into the description of the flowers and that's how they get away with stealing but they got busted this time. I should have looked at the poor reviews before I ordered.

I placed an order for a 11 am service on 3/30/17 and then received an email stating the actual delivery time was 3:35 pm, 4 1/2 hours after the service. I spent several hours going back and forth with emails as they tried to convince me the order was delivered before the service, even though their email states otherwise. I requested a full refund several times but they would only offer a 10% refund even though their "late delivery policy" states a full refund could be obtained. This business advertises as a local florist. They are in NJ. I live in SC and the order I had was for NC. I am very disappointed in the service I received.

I ordered tulips for a friend. I ordered the "Premium" bouquet, which promised 25 stems. She received a bouquet with about 10-11 stems and filler. The photo had ONLY tulips in the bouquet, which is why I chose Ava's. The arrangement was definitely NOT what was promised. This is deceitful marketing. It was advertised for $69.99. With all "service" charges, etc. (they said they do not charge for delivery), my total was $92.92. I called yesterday and spoke to a customer rep. After about 25-30 min of explaining the mistake, waiting on hold, etc., I sent a photo of what was delivered.
Today, I spoke with yet ANOTHER representative, at which point I asked to speak with a manager. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes, I spoke with now a 3rd person, who said she was a manager. After explaining what I had ordered and what had been delivered (for the third time), I was told that they would deliver the remainder of the tulips. I said that this was unsatisfactory and that I wanted the ORIGINAL order, as promised (25 stems of tulips), delivered all together.
She finally agreed to do this (after being put on hold numerous times to talk to their floral designers, etc. ), BUT ONLY AFTER GOING TO PICK UP THE ORIGINAL BOUQUET. So, I had to call my friend who received the flowers and tell her they were going to pick up the first bouquet from her before they deliver the correct one. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DO NOT recommend using this florist. EVER. Unless you enjoy the adage "the customer is always wrong" and wasting your time and money.

I ordered a premium flower arrangement for my sister in-law's father's funeral. The price, including delivery, was $90.00. The arrangement was not even close to what I ordered. The company called me to let me know they did not have all the flowers, so I told them to do something comparable. They used cheap flowers and still charged me premium price. When I called the company to complain, they offered me a 10% discount. The arrangement was below standard quality and the price should have reflected such. They charged me full price for a product that was not premium quality. The local florist said they filled the order with less than premium quality flowers, so wouldn't you think, I would have been given a discount? Or charged accordingly for the quality of flowers used? Never will I use this flower service again.

The flower arrangement options online have a sharp discount. However, the 'handling fees' made the $39.99 flower arrangement slightly more than the privately owned florist in the delivery town. Further, I had to speak with 3 customer service agents before getting my order cancelled. The 1st two put me on hold; followed by a recording asking for a callback number; after entering my number I heard "No callbacks are available". Then, I heard the survey which would not accept negative responses. (Hmm.) I might have ordered from them again, but not after this. I have NO confidence in this organization. I'd rather sit through a timeshare offer than deal with these people again.

I went online to a "local" florist to order roses for my sister's birthday. I like to support local business. Anyway to make a long story short, not a local company but a company from NJ! My gift arrived at 8pm via UPS. The driver had received bad directions for delivery. He called me and I gave him proper direction to the delivery address. Poor guy was on his way home but took time to make sure flowers were delivered. Please make sure when ordering local that it is truly local. AVAS FLOWERS is not local to Holbrook, MA.

I was called by someone from Avas and told they could not complete my delivery. They said they would do it the next day. The floral arrangement I ordered was for the opening of my granddaughter's show. I could not attend because of illness, so I was counting on the arrangement to let her know of my support. Then some manager came on and said he would try to find another shop in the area to complete my order. Then Avas called back and said they could only do it the next day. If I had read the reviews before I ordered, I would know this company was not good and this is a scam. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. I am heartsick that the order will not be completed as ordered. Dissatisfied? Broken-hearted!

After paying for same day delivery of a lovely flower arrangement, their rep called to say they couldn't deliver the order today without an additional $10. When I protested, he was flustered and then said something about not being able to do the order as pictured. Again, I objected and said I would cancel the order. I was put on hold, then apologies were made, and suddenly they could do it all as planned today.
I sent a polite but firm and threatening email to customer service, and called my credit card company immediately. The flowers were delivered and look great, but I am not sure if this order would have been satisfactory if I had not been all over them. I won't use them again, especially now that I see the other negative reviews.

My California-based boyfriend found this company when he searched for florists in my home city of Bridgeport, CT. He ordered an arrangement of sunflowers for our anniversary and had them delivered to my home. When they arrived on Wednesday a couple of the stems were a bit wilted and the head were curled into tight balls (which I assumed was from the protective mesh sleeves used for shipping). I trimmed the ends and put them in water, assuming that they just needed a little time to perk up.
When I got home on Thursday evening, 4 of the 12 stems were wilted and the heads were still tight balls. I called the customer service number to make a complaint. I spoke with a woman based out of a call center who said that she would arrange to have a replacement delivery made on Friday, but said I would need to give the old flowers back. I changed the delivery address to my office and told her that the delivery had to be made by 4:45. At 4:30 Friday I called the company to find out where my delivery was. After spending the better part of 20 minutes on hold, I was told that they weren't able to deliver on Friday but would definitely do so on Saturday. Saturday came and went, still no flowers. My boyfriend said he would call them today to get a refund, but I told him about the reviews I read on this site and the experiences people had, so now he intends to just handle it with his bank instead. My mother ordered a birthday arrangement for her 96 yr. Mother in Law on March 21st 2017, no arrangement, no delivery, so I tried contacting them. Finally spoke with someone whom I couldn't understand and told me 8 different response pertaining to my order status, I looked up the CEO and his company and nothing spoken good about this company. I then later called to cancel the order and they wouldn't, So I called my bank and stopped the payment and cancel my card so they can't steal anything else from me. Ordered a Deluxe Everlasting Soothing Lavender Bouquet with 4 yellow balloons for a very special 60th birthday. What was delivered was a small vase with green carnations and 2 pink roses, and red, white, and blue balloons. Their idea of a "similar" bouquet to my Lavender bouquet was not only horrific but ABSOLUTELY embarrassing. Their solution for the mistake after sitting on hold for over 30 minutes and multiple phone calls was a $15.00 credit to my Avas Flower account. The Deluxe Bouquet cost me $79.94. What was actually delivered wasn't even worth $15.00. I will never use them again and I strongly advise others to do the same. DON'T USE THEM EVER!!!

Forget about not even being able to deliver on time, they just don't deliver and claim they did! I was supposed to have some flowers delivered to my wife at work for her 50th birthday on or before 1:00 p.m. and paid extra for this service. Well, they never showed up EVER, but still managed to charge my credit card. They also sent me a text message at 6:41 p.m. informing me the delivery was made! These folks are thiefs and will argue with you on the phone. I was even told I should have read the fine print! I would also like to add that on the day delivery was scheduled, I called at 11:30 a.m. to confirm everything was OK, which I was told it was.
By 2:30 p.m. still no flowers, so I called again. They said they were now in route, and I told him not to bother and cancel the order as my wifes work day was now over and she was gone from the office. They told me they were NOT going to cancel the order and were going to deliver the flowers whether I liked it or not! Well, at 6:41 p.m. they sent me a notice claiming to have delivered the flowers to my wife's office which closes everyday at 4:00 p.m. The next day my wife said there are NO flowers in the office. These type of people are the most dangerous! They will steal from you if they can get away with it! STAY CLEAR OF AVAS FLOWERS!!

My husband ordered flowers for me to be delivered to my business address. Next day he was surprised that I didn't thank him. Finally, he asked me if I received something. I responded that I didn't. He then stated that I was supposed to receive flowers from Avas Flowers and he received a confirmation email stating that the flowers were delivered. I've decided to call Avas Flowers and women told me that the flowers were delivered to ME!!! I was shocked. I asked for investigation, who received the flowers, signature of the recipient and requested this case to be escalated. The company told me to call back 2 days later. When I called, they said that the flowers were "attempted" to be delivered, but actually there was no recipient!!! What a lie!!!
Since they confirmed that flowers were not delivered, I had requested FULL REFUND. They didn't apologized, but said, “OK. Don't worry - money will be refunded back to you.” 3 weeks later, my credit card showed NO REFUND. I called them back, they kept me on a phone for 45 minutes, passing my call from person to person, and finally stated to me, "Your flowers were delivered!" Here we go, I went over the same circle. I told the company, that I will press charges against them for the FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY and lying to me for 3 weeks! I also told them that I will write to BBB and post review on a website. They got manager on a phone and after another 25 minutes hold they agree to do refund! BE AWARE! THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT FRAUD!!! DON’T LOSE YOUR MONEY! STAY AWAY!

My husband order roses and was sent an arrangement with three dead rose and wilted flowers. It was one of the worst I have ever seen. I talk to four different people who argue with me about the flowers. I would never come back and would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service was horrible. I could not get my money back. Don't get fooled by the pretty website & prices. I ordered flowers for my very sick mother at 6.30am this morning to be delivered today, I ordered a pretty $60.00 arrangement. At 8.15PM I received a phone call saying that because the arrangement has roses in them they can't be delivered today as they have to be delivered on a special truck. Not only that, because today is Friday, the earliest I can have them delivered is on Tuesday. Never heard such hogwash, I might of believed it if it were hot outside today. To say the least I am very disappointed, I asked for my money back which they did refund. I do not recommend using this company.

Purchased flowers at 8 pm on 3/15/17 for daughter's 16th bday as she was in MN on spring break and we are in TX. Stated they would deliver by 3/16 by 1 pm. Never happened. Called, spoke to man who could hardly speak English. He didn't offer refund for guaranteed time so I told him I wanted it. He said it was around corner and be delivered shortly. 2 hrs later my mother said still not there. Called again, spoke with guy who called delivery truck and was going to be there in a hour. Mother told me still not there at 5.
Husband called Ava's and was mad. They were apologetic and offered a 10% coupon to be used by Mother's Day. My husband said we would never use them again. After he asked for full refund she said "I can't do that but I can give you 20%" which they didn't! So still waiting for 9.99 delivery charge back and 20% back. They sent a text that it was delivered at 4:11 pm. We called my mother who said no and finally at 5:17 pm delivered. The flowers were not same as picture; I even called people who delivered and they told me how awful online flower companies are and lie about flowers and upcharge. She said "call local flower shop".

I ordered flowers for my daughter who was having surgery yesterday. I asked for a 50.00 arrangement and that her favorite color is purple. After going over everything I was told the arrangement would be 50.00 plus 23.00 for the vase and taxes. I said that was fine and was looking forward to an amazing arrangement. As you can see below is what 73.00 gets you, I was not impressed. Will never use them again. I was also never emailed a receipt or confirmation that it was delivered.

I recently (March 4, 2017) ordered a "Birthday Bouquet" product code BC-X from the Avas Flowers website. I'm in Australia and the flowers were going to Pismo Beach Ca. USA. This particular bouquet included a vase with colourful ribbons and a little Happy Birthday banner sticking out the top. It was a colourful bouquet at a good price.
Unfortunately the bouquet that was delivered was so completely different my first thought was there must have been a mix-up in the delivery and someone else received our flowers. The bouquet that arrived was nice enough and my sister was still surprised and happy to receive flowers, but it wasn't even remotely what we ordered. I've tried several times to communicate with Avas Flowers but I'm only getting the standard email replies that so many other on this site have described. I haven't received any offer of partial compensation.
I won't be using Avas Flowers again because it appears the floral bouquet examples on their website are totally misleading and they cannot/will not guarantee you will get what you order. They have a disclaimer in the T & Cs that effectively gives the florist license to do whatever they want. The Customer Service amounts to no more than lip service with no intention of actually resolving the problem to your satisfaction.

I ordered flowers for the death of my aunt on 3/3/17 to be delivered 3/3/17... Checked 3/6 no flowers. Tried to call... incredible wait! On the 3rd, wait of 20 min. I speak with a young man who can barely speak English or understand English. So, he tells me they will send an upgrade of "2,000 roses"! Do I want red or mixed colors!!? Just wait until he connects me to the "upgrade" line... like not!!! On 3/7 I receive a customer service e-mail from Dania ** offering a delivery that day at 10% off. I say ok. Today, 3/8 I called my credit card to dispute their charge. Time wasted, a personal moment of sentiment lost! Frustrated but used by a scam!!!

I placed an order to be delivered on Sunday and it never arrived. I called three times to get put on hold 15 mins and hung up on twice. The third time the guy said it would be delivered Monday before noon and it would be upgraded. It still never got delivered even though they sent me a confirmation saying it had been. I called again and they wanted it to be delivered Wednesday. I said, "This is for someone in the hospital that may be discharged by then." So he schedules it for Tuesday and offers me $20 store credit. I asked if they could just add $20 worth to her order and he says no. I ask for $20 refund and he says no. I said, "I don't want store credit because I'm never using this company again." When she finally gets it, it IS NOT what I ordered and from the looks of it worth less than what I ordered.

Purchased flowers at 7:57 am on Friday March 3, 2017 flowers did not arrive until the late evening 5-7 o'clock approximately. However when flowers arrived they were dead. Called back Monday the 6th of March they will not bring a manager upon the phone. Waited on the phone for 20 min still no manager. I am asking for a full refund who wants dead flowers. Horrible experience. No excuse to do business like this. Totally not worth $20 bucks. Definitely not worth $120 plus bucks.

It was a sympathy arrangement for my dear, departed brother from me and my family. I placed my order 4 days ahead and asked for delivery by 12 Noon; it was not delivered to the funeral home until 4 PM. This is inexcusable. I picked them because of their proximity to the funeral home and good reviews (guess I didn't check well enough). It was not only embarrassing but extremely upsetting for me at a time when I was already stressed. AND, I picked that particular arrangement because of the COLOR – peach, and the BASKET – the fireside basket. The name of the arrangement is Peach and White Sympathy Fireside Basket. There were NO peach flowers in the arrangement; it was primarily white with just a few ORANGE flowers and an ORANGE ribbon, and the basket was an ordinary basket, NOT a fireside basket.
The bouquet was full and the flowers were fresh but that did not make up for the other expectations I had or money I paid. I called their store at 3:15 from the funeral home the date of the scheduled delivery and the person I talked to could not even tell me WHEN the arrangement would be delivered!!! It was a funeral; nothing can be done to make up for the disappointment I feel. Obviously, I would not order flowers from them again.

I placed a "same day" order yesterday (3/4). The online form stated that there was a flex time guaranteed delivery. The flowers would arrive on 3/4 or 3/5 (as the max late delivery). I received a confirmation of this in my email. It was for my mom's birthday and she's leaving town on Tuesday. I wanted her to have a few days to enjoy the flowers before she left town. I received a confirmation today (3/5) with information to track my delivery. When I looked into the account it showed that they were not going to be delivered today but rather tomorrow 3/6. I called customer service immediately.
The first representative said she would call the flower shop and then returned to the line stating the shop is closed today so there's no way they could be delivered. She told me my options were to cancel the order completely or have them delivered tomorrow. Her English was incredibly broken and I had a hard time understanding her. I finally asked for a supervisor. After a long wait, a Supervisor came on the line and told me the exact same thing. However, she tried to say that they have the right to deliver until January 6th. I assume she meant March but she kept saying January. She clearly had no idea when I placed the order and kept mentioning wrong dates and said there's nothing she can do because the shop is closed. I told her I would like a full refund or at least a partial refund because they failed to deliver on time. She said that was not possible.
She said if we deliver flowers on any day (regardless of what they promised) they'd charge me the full price. They clearly had one script to follow and very little to no knowledge of the business or floral industry. She refused to acknowledge anything I was saying. This place is more like a call center and not a business. If I could give them zero stars I would. It's one thing to make a legitimate mistake (those happen), it's another to completely refuse to take ownership and to try to make it right.

First of all, the site is completely deceptive. They make it sound like they've got good reviews but there's no place to even post a review. They're overpriced, upsell you ($2.50 for a card to write your message?!) and they are absolutely unwilling to make any changes. Their site says you can cancel if your delivery is two days out (mine was). They just grind you down by putting you on hold and then telling you they're taking care of it and will send you an email (you never get one). They're such bottom feeders as much of their business is for funerals. Buyer beware!

This place is a rip off!!! Before you order from this place please read the reviews!!! Bad customer service. Bad place. I spent $92.92 on a bouquet of flowers. What was delivered looked to be about 30$ worth. I had paid for the flowers to get delivered on February 23. They didn't get delivered until February 27... 4 DAYS LATE and this was not the arrangement I ordered.
When I emailed them to complain (because you can't call... no one answers the phone... first red flag) this was the response: "Good Afternoon Sandy, After reviewing your order, emails, and photos, I see that the designer filled you Deluxe arrangement by recipe. Sincerely, Shannon **" Well Shannon what the heck does that mean?? It means they don't give a crap!!! They enjoying ripping you off!! Go to a reputable florist that will take pride in what they do and care when a customer is unhappy FOR GOOD REASON!!! The first picture is what was delivered 4 DAYS LATE. The second picture is the one I picked FROM THEIR WEBSITE!!!

I ordered the White Carnation Vase to be sent to my sister in law after her mother passed away. She sent me a picture of the arrangement and I was embarrassed by how cheap it looked. I contacted Avas and sent a copy of the picture. The rep apologized profusely and said a replacement would be sent. The next day when I called I was told by a supervisor that the florist refused to send a replacement as the "recipe" was correct. I was offered and given a $10.00 refund, also was offered a $20.00 store credit which I turned down as I will NEVER shop here again.

I ordered roses days before Valentines for $93. Valentine comes and goes and no flowers. I waited until the end of the week and called them. They said the local florist delivered them and gave me the day and time. We were home and no one came. I offered to send them my security camera footage as well ring doorbell log for that time frame. Not necessary, never heard from them again. I don't need the money back, I apparently need it less than they do. But, I am on a vendetta of social awareness about this company. They essentially said I am a liar. Not nice.

If you're smart do not ever order from this company. Yes, on their website their reviews are fantastic. But ONLY on THEIR website. I ordered specifically sunflowers for my daughter's 20th birthday, which on their website it stated there were only 2 left for availability. Great! I placed the order 0730 East Coast Time, to be delivered by 1300 West Coast Time, plenty of time to be delivered and to contact me if there were any complications. My daughter received the arrangement... not even close what I ordered and no sunflowers, her favorite. So, I call them and ask for a refund. I was told there were no sunflowers available even though they're advertising them on their website (and still are).
No refund but instead they apologize, call my daughter and apologize and offer to send a dozen of sunflowers as compensation. Great!! Until... the sunflowers arrive. All dead. Every single one. I have never been so mortified. I called them back, they again apologized and offered another arrangement to avoid the refund. No way. I have been fighting them, they have given me only 50% of my money back and offered $20 store credit. I was told I cannot get a full refund because she kept the flowers. I will NEVER use their services again and I suggest the same to anyone else.

I placed this order a day in advance. I did my homework and asked all the questions before placing my order because I needed the flowers to be at the hospital before noon since that was the time my friend was leaving maternity. My first call was around 10:30 am and consecutively until 2 pm. They couldn't get a hold of the florist at all in between the six times I called.
When I ask for a refund one of your agents had a smart attitude and even had the nerve to tell me that they could give me a $20 credit! From a $110 flower arrangement! That's is when I was not in a friendly mode anymore and asked to speak with a manager several times before he stopped talking over me and finally put me on hold so that I can speak with higher authority. I'm extremely disappointed with your service; you guys ruined a special gift for a special occasion, which never got delivered. I will not be buying from Avas Flowers again and will make sure neither my family and friends don't do business here!

This is the first, and last time, I will order through Avas Flowers. I ordered a delivery for my mother on 2/14 which did not arrive on that date. Attempting to contact them proved difficult. When I was able to, everything was to be updated and flowers redelivered. That did not happen. I called again, and when I got hold of someone, I let them know that I wished to cancel the order, at which time I was told that I would refunded my money minus $32 for attempted delivery.
At that point, not wanting to lose my money, I asked for an attempted reschedule. I was then told that the flowers, with an upgrade, will be delivered the very next day. This time, I took the person's name and extension. Again, no flowers! I called again. The order number was under a different name. They could not find the order under my last name. Only after taking down the last 4 of my credit card number were they able to find the order.
Then I was told that the delivery was due to be made tomorrow (9 days after the original deliver). I gave the previous person's name and extension to the person who last answered the customer service call. They did not transfer me. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, which did not happen. I was finally given a tracking number with UPS, and told it would be delivered today!! I am beside myself at this point. If no flowers are received today, I plan to take it up with my credit card company. I will never order from them again!

Overall very poor. Example the birthday bouquet greeting, exact same picture and item was $77.92 on Avas Flowers and $40.48 on FROMYOUFLOWERS. Exact same flowers with all costs and their bait and switch discounts (add in $13.95 handling charge). Happened to get an email from the second site which prompted me to check. Attempted to call then cancel immediately and what an experience transferred to customer service and cut off or they hung up ten times. Was finally told they canceled but never received cancellation email. Horrible experience. The customer service has a very poor command of the English language so I think they just don't understand what you're telling them, very poorly trained. In addition they present themselves as a local florist when you perform a search and they are not. They are a call center and a very poor one at that!

Ordered flowers on Valentine's Day. Website warns that, because it is busy, may not get delivered until next day. Fine. Flowers don't show up on 2/14 even though the order status app said they would be delivered on 2/14. Was willing to accept them on 2/15 since website warned me but they tried to deliver them on 2/16. Refused delivery. After trying to reach them for two straight days, I reach someone who tells me they will only refund $85 for a $116 order. Why? Because they tried to deliver and that cost them something. My problem because they tried to deliver Valentine's Day flowers two days late. BAD SERVICE BAD ATTITUDE. VERY AGGRAVATING EXPERIENCE. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

I purchased flowers for my wife's birthday and requested "no lilies". However lilies were sent as part of the arrangement. As my wife is allergic to lilies her reaction put out of action for 2 days. I sent 2 emails to Avas asking if they maybe able to replace the flowers and got no reply. Best if you avoid doing business with this company.

After sitting on hold for 45 minutes I was informed that their system somehow cancelled my order and they would not be able to deliver them before the funeral tomorrow. Crooks!!!

I ordered an arrangement 10 day in advance of the desired delivery date. It did not arrive and when attempting to find out why every avenue of contacting them is automated - with the same reply "Our driver hasn't contacted us yet". They are NOT a local company and customer service is a joke. I would not use them again.

Ordered flowers. Asked for a specific flower... HEATHER, for a Scottish family thank you gift. I asked when my order was taken if heather was available, at least 4 times! They said yes. As I was going to call another florist if they did not have heather... the order was sent out... NO HEATHER. When I called they told me it was equal value and they have a SUBSTITUTION POLICY. I did not want a substitute and they knew that. I disputed this with my credit card company and Avas denied the claim. They would give me a $20.00 company credit. I would never go there again, or order again, at first, I am out of state, and second was not satisfied with the order. KNOW BEFORE YOU ORDER... THERE IS A SUBSTITUTION POLICY!

To place my order took forever as the person I spoke with barely spoke English and getting my name spelled correctly was a process within itself. I still do not know if he got the name right. The next day I received an email telling me to urgently contact the company regarding my order. I did so and the person I spoke to was hard to understand and we got cut off. I called back and got another person who was very difficult to understand and after being placed on hold for several minutes informed me that there was no problem. It was very apparent the person was in a phone bank as the background noise added to the distraction of his not speaking English. Because of the total confusion, I doubt if my order gets delivered. Avas Flowers is something and someone I will never call again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a flower arrangement from avasflowers.com, as they said they were in the same city I was looking for in Idaho. Placed the order without problem. I was very specific about my order, as it was in honor of my best friend's 26 year who passed away. I requested only white and pink roses with a bow to be delivered around 10 so it would be there prior to the memorial service. My friend sends me a picture of a heart-shaped wreath, sitting on floor. The arrangement was NOTHING like what I had ordered. Had all different kinds of flowers with only a few roses, no bow and I ordered something that could sit on their table. The follow-up customer service calls were worthless. Called multiple times with the offer of $30 off of my $225 order... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

If there was a way to give 0 stars, I would. This so-called flower business is a joke. My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to my office. They never came. Also, I called the contact number. I asked to speak with a supervisor. After being on hold for several minutes I spoke with what sounded like a child, also while listening to a lot of giggling in the background. After talking to a complete imbecile, I finally gave up, realizing no restitution was coming. So, in short, never use Ava's Flowers. Unless you enjoy being disappointed.

I ordered a box of chocolate and flowers for $95 to a co-worker after a serious surgery to be delivered to her house in early afternoon on 01/26/17. I did not want to bother her asking about the delivery for a week or so and when I text her today asking if she received everything she said "they delivered at night after 7pm when I was asleep" and flowers were in a small basket not the premium that was ordered and box of chocolate that they charged me $20 plus delivery was missing and not delivered! I called Avas Fowers Las Vegas. They said "we have 48 hours policy for complaint and we can't do anything now!" Finally they said they refund me for chocolate when I said they need to deliver her the same order again. I don't believe they are very ethical and honest.

I wanted to order a welcome bouquet for my son and daughter-in-law to their new home in December and to celebrate the Christmas Holiday. I was under the impression that Avas Flowers was a locally owned shop in Evansville, WI. The flowers were two days late and were a mere handful of carnations rather than the lovely bouquet and container I had chosen online. I was embarrassed when I saw what the delivery was and that it was late. I had my son send a photo of the flowers to the Company. That is when I learned that Avas Flowers is not a local shop in Evansville, but flowers sent from New Jersey.
When I contacted the Company with my complaint they said that I could have my son or daughter-in-law choose another arrangement for the same price - at the store. I again was under the impression that there was a Brick & Mortar store - in Evansville, WI - not so. The company would not credit my credit card. I was only able to make another order for the amount. This time I was told the flowers would be delivered from a local shop??? Am not happy with this company.

I ordered a plant from Avas Flowers for my mother's birthday. They never delivered the plant but sent me a confirmation email that they did. When my mother told me she never got them, I called the customer service line. They said that the confirmation was sent by mistake and the driver never got there. I told them I wanted my credit card refunded. They said that a manager would call me back. Of course, no call back. I called again and I was put on hold with a recording that said to "schedule" a callback. I scheduled one and, again, no call back. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company. What a scam they are running.

I am a pretty patient person. They couldn't get the address right yet it was on the receipt perfect. They didn't speak English. They kept reading scripts and not dealing with the missed delivery. They kept offering me future deals... HELLO! Can I get my 1st set of flowers first! Left my phone number twice on the "customer service automated line" for a call back... never happened. FINALLY delivered... to my neighbor who was kind enough to bring them to me. I paid $70... this bouquet looked maybe $30. I contacted them immediately... still waiting.
