    I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. The website said flowers would be delivered Saturday Or Sunday. I thought - perfect. Well - they were never delivered. I followed through on their website and they said delivery would now be Monday - the day after Mother's Day. Who wants that? Late flowers - I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited all day to see if they were delivered. Of course they weren't. I called the company this AM and they cancelled my order and reassured a refund would be seen in about 5 days - we shall see...

    I ordered flowers for my 82 year old Mom in Florida. I was told she would receive them Friday 5-0-19. On Friday I received a email stating they could not meet that deadline and would deliver them Monday 5-13 the day after Mother's Day. As I could make no other arrangements I explained to my mom and she looked for them all day on Monday. They never came. I just called this "company" to find the had canceled them with the reason they couldn't not fill the order and will refund my money. They offered a credit on my account. Someone please use all of these credits as I will never call them again. Very disappointing.

    Hands down the worst floral company I have ever dealt with. Paid $140 for a flower arrangement only to get a email claiming the arrangement we paid for wouldn’t be possible due to “seasonal availability.” Then went on to say that they wouldn’t be able to deliver on Mother’s Day... it would be Monday, the day after. Come said delivery date, we get another email saying that delivery was changed AGAIN and is now set up for Tuesday. 30 minutes on hold before anyone answered the phone. Gave us a $20 store credit like we will actually be using them again. Almost laughable. Save your money and go elsewhere.

    There was an issue delivering flowers on Mother's Day, only partially their fault. However, I have left three help tickets and called repeatedly over the last 48 hours and have yet to make contact with a single human being. I HATE computers for customer service, and even more so if they ask you a bunch of questions, put you on hold, and then eventually hang up.

    This flower company is TERRIBLE!! Don’t order from here. They promised the flowers would be delivered on mother’s day but now aren’t going to be delivered for another 3 days! Let’s be honest I’d give them a 0 star rating. They refused to compensate us and on top of that was unapologetic. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money here.

    AVOID. Missed not only the promised delivery date of the Saturday before Mother's Day, but the flowers still hadn't arrived by Monday night. Their call center drone offered a 15% discount and said that was the most they could do. Also, they are NOT a local florist located in whatever town you Googled - they're just a call center in New Jersey, despite the "local community" BS on their search-optimized web page. Absolute scam artists. You've been warned.

    Avas Flowers does not advertise accurately. I will go so far as to say that I feel very misled. They advertised delivery, even same day delivery. However, they were unable to deliver anything, even with three days notice. Even when florists run out of a certain type of flower or arrangement, they always offer a substitute at least. But, not Avas. They took my money on Friday. Late on Saturday, they say sorry, but they can’t deliver until Monday. They never offered a substitute so that they could at least deliver on Sunday. Monday was a day late, and two days later than I requested.

    Finally, on MONDAY, I get an email that says they simply CANCELLED my order! Are you kidding me? They couldn’t deliver on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, OR Monday. They never tried to substitute. They refuse to answer their phone. AND, their phone system just hangs up on you after you have been on hold for 10 minutes. They just send you email promises every day, only to break the promise via email the very next day. This is the worst florist I have ever tried to do business with during more than 30 years of buying flowers for my friends and family. Do not be deceived by their “friendly” but misleading web site. Is zero stars a rating option, or do I have to give them one star?

    I ordered a pink and ivory bouquet for my mother for Mother's Day. What she received instead was a bunch of daisies with three red roses stuck in the middle. When I called to complain, it took about 20 minutes to get to an actual person. When I told him the problem, he said he had to check with the florist who delivered them. When he came back, he said, "I can't do anything for you because I can't get ahold of them. Their phone goes to voice mail." So, I'm out $75 for a bunch of daisies!

    The flowers were not delivered on Saturday before Mother’s Day. 2 days have passed and still no flowers. I have been on the phone for hours, spoke to 3 reps and they all said they are trying to resolve, and they will call me back, but they don’t. My son paid $95 for all this aggravation. This company is horrendous.

    My order was not delivered to my daughter on 5/11 for a Mother's Day surprise. My order was placed on May 1st so there would not be a rush or any delivery problems, no delivery was made and my daughter was home in time for the delivery. I called twice and e-mailed twice on 5/12 Mother's Day. No response. I called 3 times today spending over an hour on the phone still no resolution. I want a full refund.

    I usually use a different company when sending flowers for my mother-in-law for Mother's day but I really didn't think it made any difference. I was so wrong. She didn't receive the flowers in the two-day delivery period and when I called, the automated phone system said they had been delivered! I finally got ahold of someone named Julia who said she said they had been delivered on a specific date and time but had to do some "investigating" by contacting the driver who apparently wasn't answering his calls. She promised to call me back. I waited for most of the day and then called them back.

    The next person I talked to (Calena) originally said she wanted to give me a refund, but then came back on the phone and said that the flowers had been delivered, this time on a different date and a different time! I told them that this was a lie; the person had not received the flowers on either day and delivery drivers who carry cell phones can easily verify a delivery--it shouldn't take all day. I told her that if I didn't get a refund from them, I was going to dispute the transaction at the bank because it was obvious they were lying. She said to call back in two hours (it was going to be 5 p.m. and I am sure they would be closed). I disputed it at the bank anyway. Awful, awful people. Do NOT do business with them! Need to be closed down.

    My son and I ordered flowers for his girlfriend’s 21st birthday. The confirmation email said they would come 5/11-5/12 by 7pm. On the 12th, her birthday, they sent an email saying they would deliver them the 14? 2 phone calls later, they would deliver them the 13th. Got an email today 5/13 that they cancelled the order because they reached capacity. Meanwhile they haven’t credited my credit card and his girlfriend was in tears because she’s convinced he forgot her birthday! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. THEY’RE CROOKS!

    I wish I had searched reviews before I placed my order for Mother's Day Flowers. The reviews on their web page were obviously fake. I did a search for local florists in the vicinity of my mother (Mashpee, MA). I was enticed by free delivery for her local addresses! I placed my order and then received an email that the bouquet I ordered was no longer available. They would substitute to make a similar arrangement of equal or greater value. I agreed (I figured it was Mother's Day weekend and some items may have already sold out).

    I called my mom on Sunday, Delivery was suppose to happen Friday. She had not received any flowers. I just did a search on my order and they are scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Almost a week after I ordered them. They are not local at all. Looks like the company is in NJ not Massachusetts as advertised. Seems like cancelling the order is going to be a nightmare, so I will see what we get (free deliver, but they add $17.99 for service fee). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO ORDER FLOWERS!!!

    I ordered a beautiful ivory and pink arrangement for my Mom, and the arrangement she got was purple and yellow random flowers, not at all like the picture. When I contacted Avas they asked me to send a photo of it, which I did. Shortly after I received a reply that said the arrangement I got was "within the recipe and guidelines that the bouquet called for". What a ripoff! I will never use them again!

    DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! I ordered Mother’s Day Flower’s last week to be delivered on Saturday. On Saturday night, I received an email that they wouldn’t be delivered until Tuesday, to my mom who lives in a different state. Then, I get an email this morning (Monday) saying that they have had too many orders and won’t be able to complete my order at all! They also add a $20 processing fee at check out. Do not waste your time ordering from this company!!!

    I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day to be delivered on Saturday by 1pm. When I called the morning of I was reassured twice that the flowers would be delivered by then, and they never were. I called to find out the problem and they had changed the delivery date to the following Tuesday and never notified me about it. When I cancelled my order they said that they would only give me a partial refund and kept the $19.99 service fee for doing absolutely nothing. I told them that I was reassured that it would be delivered by that time and date and would like my full refund and after they reviewed the audio recording of that conversation their response was that they would be speaking with the employee that told me that. I wish I would have read all of the awful reviews before using this company. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with!

    Ordered flowers to be delivered on Mother’s Day, but received an email the following day stating delivery would be pushed to the day after due to volume and out of stock for flowers. Then on Mother’s Day I received another email stating the delivery was pushed another day and wouldn’t be delivered until the Tuesday after Mother’s Day. Now here it is the Monday after Mother’s Day and they have cancelled my order. It is too late to even try to salvage the day and am left without the order or ability to have flowers delivered from another more reputable florists. Lesson learned and never again!

    I order 3 flower arrangements for mother day, 2 for the same address and the 3rd one from a different person, 3 different order numbers. I ordered on Avas Flowers website with over a week in advance. 1 order was to be delivered Saturday May 11 and the other 2 on Sunday May 12. This was never delivered. They delivered some other arrangements. It was very nice so it was accepted. On The same day a 2nd arrangement was delivered, 6 tulips, l said it must be a mistake. l didn't order tulips and my next scheduled delivery was for the next day May 12, 24 roses and chocolate, l paid close to $90.00 dollars for this arrangement. It was never delivered. l called Avas Flowers customer service and the answer l received was "we were trying to help you out." The roses would have never made it by Sunday, some UPS delivery situation, l was never informed about this otherwise l would have ordered from another site.

    Once l realized that it was a delivery problem l asked, so when can they be delivered? They said the tulips was the replacement for the 24 roses and the chocolate, there was nothing they could do other than to offer me a discount on my next order, LOL, l was charged $90.00 dollars for 6 tulips!!! I didn't keep the tulips. I don't even know what the other person with the 3rd order received... l can't believe this company is allowed to do business, they are stealing money from customers, if helping me is sending what you want to send instead of what l pay for, thank you but no thanks. Dishonest business all around, customer service is well trained to conform to the business dishonest schemes. I will never buy from them again, l will advise anyone who does to be ready for disappointment.

    Ordered Flowers worth about $170 for my girlfriend on Mother's Day. Even after calling multiples times and being reassured they will be delivered that day flowers were never delivered. Heard multiple excuses that they are backed up because of Mother's Day but honestly I don't care... Don't take more business than you can handle because all this does is leave me with a bad experience and a disappointed girlfriend and Mom. Got an email now saying they will be delivered today. Unfortunately Mother's Day is over now. I will not purchase any flowers at Avas Flowers again.

    This was the first time I have ever used AVAS flowers and it will definitely be my last time. I ordered flowers for my mom in Massachusetts, since this was the first Mother's Day she would be celebrating without my grandmother. I placed the order a week or so before Mother's Day to be delivered on Saturday, May 9th. Well Mother's Day has come and gone and my mother NEVER received her flowers. When I called AVAS to inquire about the order, I was transferred four times, hung up on twice and the last customer service representative was humming while I was speaking and explaining myself.

    I ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered on Friday, May 10th, 2019 to my daughter-in-law's place of work. I did not receive a delivery notice on Friday, and instead, received one on Saturday. So, at the risk of inconveniencing my daughter in law, I asked her to go by her work so she could pick them up. THEY WEREN'T THERE Saturday either. I left several requests for assistance and received no call back. I will NOT use AVAS FLOWERS ever again! They still haven't been delivered!!

    This company markets that they are a local florist. They are not! They are based in NJ. When I placed an order for an arrangement for my mother for Mother's Day, I was told it would deliver by 4pm the day the order was placed. It was actually scheduled to deliver the day after Mother's Day. I spoke with several different reps who lied to me saying the flowers would be delivered no later than on Mother's Day. They were not delivered. I called to cancel the order and the customer service center is closed.

    I paid to upgrade the arrangement to the largest possible, a mylar balloon and a card. One rep finally admitted that Avas flowers is based in NJ. He also said the flower shop that will deliver does not have the mylar balloon, so that would be credited. I was told that the arrangement would look like the picture on the website with the same vase, etc. If it is delivered and is not what is expected, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also intend to file a complaint through my credit card company. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!

    This company preys on out of town consumers. Their website is designed to look as if it is a local shop. Their customer service is terrible. The representatives barely spoke English and got upset when I didn't agree to flower substitutions but put through the order saying that I approved them!! After 7 phone calls to have an appropriate funeral arrangement sent...the funeral home intervened and made sure that my order was satisfactory...even sending me a photo of what was delivered. $108 for this order!!

    Outrageous service!!!! I ordered a beautiful bouquet of baby pink and white roses. My mother was sent hot pink carnations and white and purple daisies. I called to complain and offered me a $15 credit like I’d order from them again! Their own policy states if you don’t like their flowers they will send out a proper bouquet instead. Of course that’s after they take the other flowers back. I told them I wanted them to do that. I read back to them numerous policies from their own site and I was talked over rudely and told no. The women thought she had me on mute while she yelled about me and then hung up. Worst customer service. Comparably to Comcast with how furious I am. My mother was sent bottom of the barrel grocery store flowers when I paid $80 for what I presumed to be roses.

    I purchased an arrangement of fresh cut flowers to be sent to my 91-year old mother for Mother's Day. The flowers arrived, but the water in the vase was green, several of the stems were slimy and/or broken, and several had lost their petals. I contacted the company about this. They were able to offer any compensation or satisfaction, because my elderly mother was unable to take a picture of what she received. Lesson: Don't EVER send flowers to a loved one who cannot take pictures, because if there is a problem, there is NO help coming your way. I did have a previous satisfactory experience with this company, but this is my last order to them.

    After not being able to go see my mom in North Carolina for Mother's Day (due to illness) I decided to surprise her with a flower delivery. I chose Avas Flowers because they advertised that they were in the same city as my mom. I clicked on Same Day Delivery, chose a small bouquet and card, paid almost twenty dollars in "processing" fees and charged over seventy eight dollars on my credit card.

    Two days later my mom still did not receive the flowers! I emailed Avas and they gave me a song and dance, basically how same day isn't same day! And how I could not cancel or receive a refund. Well my bank did not agree with that! They stopped the charge and are refunding it back to me. This is what I get for not checking reviews on Avas first! I found horrible reviews and found that there's even an Avas Flowers - Scam Facebook page! I do NOT recommend dealing with these people at all!!!

    They lied to me about when my flowers would get here. I called twice on Saturday when they were supposed to be here Saturday by 7. Both customer service reps told me, "Oh yeah they'll be there." Then I find an email at 6:35 p.m. saying, "We do not have the Flowers In Bloom to make your arrangement. Do you want us to make another one? We need an answer by 6." While now it's 6:35 coz I don't check my email all the time.

    Both customer service reps that day told me they would call me back and let me know it's on its way. So that night another customer representative said, "You will get them Sunday. They'll be out for delivery." I said, "Well I want to see a picture of the arrangement the designer is making because I ordered a specific one." and he said he doesn't have the flowers or that I'm not just going to settle for any old ugly arrangement coz I paid money for a good one. So that never happened. Never got a picture. Called three times today. They're telling me the same thing. They can't get a hold of the designer. They can't tell me anything and it's just ridiculous. I will never ever order from this company again. They ruined my whole mother's Mother's Day.

    No delivery of flowers within 4 days. Still no product delivered. They quote over and over again their policy about holiday and delivery policies. This is not mentioned when you call in to order. Customer service lies on the phone. They tell you the truck attempted delivery twice when that is not true. They do not respond to digital complaints. They charge 5.95 without telling you when you say who the flowers are from. Don’t use this company. Awful service. I didn’t want to give any stars but this site would not let me proceed without at least choosing one.

    I was contacted that my choice of flowers was not available and they weren't able to deliver by Mother's Day. I emailed instructing them to cancel the order and refund the charge to my credit card. They emailed offering me $15 off and asking me to email or phone them to 'resolve the issue'. I emailed with my original instruction to cancel the order and refund my money. They emailed me again to say they had attempted to contact me, I should phone them. But of course, the line is continually busy. The policy says 'Orders for Products may be canceled within twenty-four (24) hours after they are placed, except for orders for Same Day Delivery or Next Day Delivery, which may not be canceled.' I instructed them to cancel on 11 May well within the 24 hours since they informed me the delivery would be Monday, 13 May after Mother's Day. Unacceptable.

    Ordered flowers to be delivered on Mother's day. Upgraded the arrangement thinking a nicer bouquet would be delivered. Paid $70 for 8 tulips. When I called to complain I was told they would refund me the difference for the 2 missing flowers. I told them the picture showed more than 10 flowers and I never would have ordered just 10 flowers for that price. They offered to send me a coupon for a discount on my next order, I told them to keep it as I would never use them again and hung up on the representative. I found out that the tulips are small and not a normal size tulip. Total waste of money. Do not use this company.

    I ordered Mother's Day flowers for next day delivery from a local florist in Winter Garden, FL. The agent stated they would deliver NLT 11am the next day. No delivery. I contacted the company Rep and they stated another attempt would be made NT 1pm on Mother's day. At 2 pm No delivery. I left a message on the company's website of my dissatisfaction and requested a full refund. Within 5 minutes, the recipient received a text stating to expect delivery within 30 min. Really? Be warned. Note the other poor ratings here.

    I’ve had an absolutely horrific experience with this company and I highly recommend nobody use them. First of all I was looking for a local florist in the area where my daughter lives - they showed up in my Google search results so I called them. I ordered a bouquet of Mother’s Day flowers and they gave me several delivery date options. I chose the earliest option which was the evening of the date I ordered them. Then I received an email from them indicating that they were not going to be able to deliver at that time which was fine because it was still a few days before Mother’s Day. Their updated delivery time would be Saturday or Sunday Mother’s Day so I let that go as that was fine with me. Then I got another email apologizing for the inconvenience but indicating that they would not deliver till Monday after Mother’s Day. So I called them to cancel the order.

    It was painfully difficult to get through to customer service including the call being disconnected before I could even speak to someone so I called back and smartly contacted the sales department as I knew they would certainly be available. During the course of the call I was prompted to put in my order number and only found out because I was calling that now the delivery was changed to Tuesday which I was never notified about. From the noise in the background it sounded like I was talking to a huge call center - definitely not a florist.

    The person haggled with me and at first canceled the order and told me I was going to receive a partial refund because they were keeping a service fee - when I threatened to file a chargeback and demanded the full amount back he then put me on hold, processed the full refund and that was the end of a miserable experience - including my daughter not receiving Mother’s Day flowers from me for her very first Mother’s Day. Obviously from all of the myriad complaints about this company there’s enough proof that they should not be trusted or worked with. I hope my review helps someone else who was considering using them. What a miserable experience.

    I called Friday morning to have flowers delivered to my daughter for Mother's Day. She is a physically disabled single mom, so I wanted to do something special for her this year since we do not live close to each other. I understood they possibly would not be delivered Friday, which was fine. I was told they would be delivered Saturday, so the expectation was set. They were NOT delivered Saturday. I started tracking my order via email Saturday after noon and NEVER received a reply, phone call or text as to the status. I called and waited on hold for quite some time and was finally able to speak with a human. I was told they were looking into and would call or email me as to the status. Never happened.

    I called again Sunday morning and they still could not give me the status of my order. I asked to cancel it and be reimbursed the almost $100 I had spent and they miraculously arrived. They tout same day delivery, which is not correct. I prefer to use a local merchant, to promote dollars staying local. I will definitely NOT be using them in the future! I would have gotten better service with 1-800 Flowers or Pro Flowers and I will use one of these in the future! I would NOT recommend them at all.

    I ordered flowers online for my mother for Mother's Day. She doesn't live in the same part of the country as I do so I was looking for a florist in her area and appeared to have found one through an internet search. I chose an arrangement off of their website and it was guaranteed to be there in the next two days. I got an email from the florist two days later that the flowers wouldn't be delivered in time for Mother's Day and would in fact be delivered the day after Mother's Day. I called them to complain and they said that the email was in error and that the arrangement would in fact be delivered by Mother's Day. So I received an email on Mother's Day saying that they had run out of flowers for the arrangement!! Are you kidding me? What florist runs out of flowers?

    I called them up and after spending an eternity interacting with a computer voice and traversing through an endless menu of options was finally able to speak with someone. I asked them to upgrade the arrangement to whatever they did have and asked them to deliver it to my mother that day. The representative said that they didn't have any other flowers available. I asked how that was possible for a florist to not have any flowers available and that's when I learned that the website was a corporate front and the person I was speaking to was not part of an actual florist in my mother's town but just a corporate middleman that gets flowers from a distributor in that area. I asked for my order to be refunded and he said that wasn't possible. So I resorted to ordered the flowers elsewhere which of course were not delivered to well after Mother's Day. This company's website is misleading and dishonest. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

    This outfit is terrible. I paid more than $50 to deliver flowers on the Saturday prior to Mother's Day, because I figured Sunday might be busy. That is what they promised, and they not only failed to deliver on the Saturday before, they didn't even deliver on the Sunday of Mother's Day. When I called to complain, they claim that their terms of service entitle them to "flex delivery," which means my mom just doesn't get her flowers until they have time. They claim to be local (in my case, Glen Allen, Virginia). They are not. They pretend to be local so you think you are dealing with a more personal experience than a 1-800 Flowers type operation. This place is a total sham, do not do business with them.

After the CC, a new unannounced charge was added ($19.99 "Service Fee") just at the end of the process. Fortunately I stopped and saved myself the pain I keep reading about here.     Horrible I ordered the Deluxe Grade Designer Choice. My mom received a mix bouquet of roses. I paid for a mix bouquet of flowers. If I wanted the mixed roses it would have cost less.     DO NOT BUY FROM AVAS FLOWERS. My daughter ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day and was told they would be delivered Saturday, the day before Mother's Day. Avas called her Saturday and told her they would not be delivered until Monday. She then cancelled due to the flowers being delivered after Mother's Day but they charged her a service fee of $12.97 for their time. How can you charge a service fee when Avas couldn't deliver on time for the holiday after it was promised? I was told by the Avas agent that when they placed the order with the local florist they were already booked and couldn't deliver. My daughter lives in another state and was disappointed that the flowers would not arrive on time and there was no time to send another gift. It's a scam taking money for no service or goods!

    The flowers aren't local. That's the first lie. The second is that they don't tell you when you order the flowers that they won't be delivered on time. They give you one of two dates and then AFTER you pay, there's small print that states that the date of delivery isn't guaranteed. THEN...just like clockwork, on Saturday before Mother's Day, the day of the original delivery, an email comes saying the delivery isn't happening on either of the days on the original order. Sent an email requesting a return call. Never got it. Asked for different flowers that could be delivered. No answer. So called customer service and waited and waited and waited and then was hung up on...twice. To this point, there is no resolution. No flowers.

    When I placed my order on 5/10 for flower delivery, the delivery date was confirmed online as one of two days. When I paid and got the invoice, it stated a delivery date of 4 days later quoting it was my "preferred delivery date." I never chose that date nor at any time during the purchase did it state this might be the case. I called to cancel the order and the representative first told me they can cancel the order but cannot refund the $19.99 handling fee.

    When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told "they were in a meeting." They had no information about when the meeting would end or when a supervisor would be available. He then put me on long hold and when he returned, representative told me they were not able to cancel my order at all since it's made during the Mother's Day holiday season. At no time during the purchase online or in my email confirmations was this policy stated. I'm disputing this charge for dishonest business practices of Ava's flowers.

    I ordered flowers for my mom on May 10th and later that evening received an email that I did not see until the next morning indicating that the selected flowers were not available and an alternate would not be sent out until May 14th. Mind you this order was for Mother's Day on May 12th. So I called to inquire about a replacement and it was indicated that it wasn't the fact that the flower was not available it was just that they were so backed up, they would not be able to deliver it until two days after the "Flexible" Delivery date. I asked that they cancel my order so that I could purchase flowers somewhere else to ensure my mom got her's on Mother's Day... I paid a total of $80.98 for the flower ($62.99 plus a service handling fee of $18 - Same Day Flower Delivery).

    Customer Service is not knowledgeable enough to even help. The gentleman I initially spoke with told me I would get my total refund of $80.98, however when I received an email confirmation, it only indicated $59.99 (not even the total cost of the flower itself.) So I called back and asked for a manager that was not available but was told the most I could get back was $67. So I lost money, plus I still had to go and spend more money to get my mom flowers. What a rip off and it's not like they had even attempted to deliver anything. All I can say is be careful using AVAS Flowers... especially online, and if you notice that is what they push for. They always say they are local, but they are not. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. So disappointed.

Mom sends me pictures and it's about 11 red roses w/ no card or balloon and they are wilted and sad. I call up customer service and they gave me an itemized receipt saying I ordered "18 roses." that cost $90. First off, my CC was charged $85 and now this receipt says $90 so I know they changed my order. When I told the rep that, they said, "Well we called and you didn't pick up and changed your order."     I ordered a potted living Azalea for mothers day. They delivered a blue Geranium. The pop up on google says they are local, they are not. They are call center just like FTD for 1-800-flowers, with worse customer service. They do not have quality control and the customer service is more of a firewall. They do not deliver what they sell or show you. I paid 130.00 with service charges for a flower that would cost about 25 delivered!

    I ordered a Mother's Day Bouquet online to be delivered the next day. It was delivered next day but not by the florist I thought I was ordering from, rather a florist 20 miles away from the delivery address and it arrived very thin, with several broken flower stems which fell of the same night. I contacted customer service who requested that I send a picture, which I did and they came back with the arrangement met their specifications. Come to find out, that website operates under local florists names and you are not actually ordering from the local florist that you think you are. I spend $75 for a $15 bouquet that looks as if it was picked up at the local Walmart.

    I ordered flowers for my daughter in law's bday, was promised they would be delivered to her work between 2-4 on the delivery date. They were not delivered, I called customer service and was told the flowers for Michael (her name is Michelle) were not delivered due to an error on the part of the person taking the order. Beings it was the weekend I had to wait until Mon for resolution. I corrected the name several times to each person I spoke to. Come Monday I requested they deliver the flowers to her at home instead of work, Ha they took them to her work and because they asked for Michael, they were told no Michael worked there. Once again another phone call to customer service, so on Tues the flowers were delivered 4 days late and guess what? They were not what I ordered. I have requested a full refund several times and they refunded me 10%. The flowers I ordered for 49.99 were replaced by an arrangement that was worth about $25.

I called the florist to find out that Avas Flowers are not remotely tied to them. They basically hijacked the business. The florist got the order after 4 pm. She called them. I sent my sister some flowers to her job for her birthday and they arrived dead and the note that I has sent with the flowers was scribbled on a small piece of paper by hand with horrible handwriting and they pasted the handwritten note to a card! Are you serious!?! I sent them pictures of the dead flowers and note with the hand scribbled message and I told them how upset I was and they still try to defend their case and say that it was beautiful even though I sent them pictures of the dead flowers!     Worst company, they don't care. They just take your money and send you crap. When you try to talk to someone they don't want to help. And good luck on getting your money back, it will not happen. I ordered a corsage and boutonniere set, I even sent them a pictured of what I wanted, they said, "Oh sure we can make that," what I got was not even close to what I ordered and the flower on it was wilted. Had to run around trying to find another flower shop that could me within an hour because my son's Prom was that afternoon. Emailed, called, send them the pictures of what I got and they will not refund me or nothing. I could not talk to a supervisor or anyone that would do anything.     I am not sure how many people get ripped off by Avas Flowers. I ordered a plant arrangement with flowers in it. I even upgrade to the Premium size. I included a mylar balloon and paid for extra card. Total was $91.87. What my cousin received was a tiny rose bush looking plant that looked like something you would get for $10 at the grocery store or Walmart. It even arrived 3 days late and not delivered by a florist but they actually put it in a box and shipped with UPS!!!! What kind of florist is this! I contacted the company and they said because it was over 24 hrs since she received it, they cannot ship out the correct arrangement due to company policy nor can they give me a full refund.

    I told the manager (Maurice) how is someone supposed to know what item the recipient actually receives unless they send you a pic or you go over there. I just happened to visit my cousin 3 days later and saw the pathetic arrangement and was so embarrassed. I sent Avas Flowers a pic of what was received. They agreed it was not what I ordered but would not send the correct one or give me a full refund. Please do not use this florist or you most likely will get ripped off. Most people never actually see the floral arrangement they send to people. They just assume it was okay because the recipient won't say it looks bad. You will see in the photos that what was received was about 10 inches. The plant I ordered was almost 2 feet by 2 feet.

    Ordered flowers for my mother's birthday. The customer service rep told me they came with a vase. They were not delivered properly. Actually laid on the ground at her front doorstep in clear cellophane wrap, flowers looked not fresh and no vase. No one was there to receive and they laid them on the ground in the heat. Additionally, I had been trying for a day and a half to get them to contact the designer responsible for delivery and change the delivery date as there was an emergency which required my mother to be out of state.

    They were not once but 3 times unable to get ahold of their own provider and unable to tell me when delivered. I had my sister 30 miles away drive to her house and she found them on the ground. I then called back and told them they were delivered and not what I ordered and after sending pictures of what looked like a Wal-Mart $10 bunch I was told it was correct and offered nothing. I PAID $52.68 for a crappy few lilies and sunflowers. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

I called them and they stated that it was mistakenly marked as delivered. They never showed. I called the next day.     I tried to order an orchid for a funeral online. The website froze up on me and I had to call customer service. I should have just went to the local grocery store and got them myself. Long story short, the guy told me he would give me a better price than I could get online and he didn’t. They actually charged me an additional $18.93 more and I’m unsure what that “service charge” was for. It wasn’t for their outstanding service! He couldn’t understand English and the sympathy card that I paid an addition $4 for was wrong.

    I paid for an orchid. They called me twenty minutes later and told me that they couldn’t get me one but could get me something just as beautiful. What they sent was a green rubber tree looking thing for the same price as an orchid! I could have went to the grocery store and paid $15 for that, got a card for free and had my name on the card but I chose to trust this company, paid $85 and not have my name listed on the card. I am so horribly disgusted and disappointed with this company and the service that I received. I would NOT recommend that anyone use this ever. You will not get what you pay for! >:-(

    I contacted Avas Flowers and the representative told me that they were a local florist, which was the first lie. I placed an order for an arrangement to be sent to my nephew's funeral and noticed almost immediately that it was entered wrong. I called back to bring to their attention the mistake and the young lady pretended to change the order but did not. They immediately charged my credit card. When they failed to provide me a confirmation I knew something was wrong. I called back and spoke with Nelson, who placed me on hold to correct the order however he only submitted the order again, incorrectly! I was so angry that I called back to cancel the order but was hung up on.

    I called back again and spoke to a customer service representative who stated she couldn't do anything but transfer me back to the order department. I spoke again to Nelson and told him to cancel the order and he told me that it would be. It wasn't. I ended up ordering an arrangement from the same florist they sent it to and I asked the owner to not fill the order from them. He told me that they ordered $225 arrangement but I paid $270. To add insult to injury they took my money, I received no arrangement and my bank told me there was nothing they do because the merchant, Avas Flowers told them they told me about their cancellation policy and the order was not done per the policy. So I've paid $521 for a funeral arrangement. Please do not order from Avas Flowers! They are a big ripoff and I'll be posting this on every site available.

    My sister ordered a flower arrangement for my 70th birthday yesterday. Upon the delivery the flowers were not what my sister ordered and therefore she called them to complain that sunflowers were not at all in this arrangement which is my favorite flower. When she called yesterday after speaking to three people and getting tossed around finally someone takes the call and the complaint! She told them that when she ordered the flowers that she definitely needed sunflowers and the arrangement and a person named Alec said that they did and she said, "Please be aware that I need sunflowers and the arrangement" or she was not ordering. She was guaranteed that the sunflowers would be in the arrangement.

    To make a long story short after numerous calls and going back-and-forth someone was finally kind enough to take and tell my sister that they would re-send the flowers today with the sunflowers in it and lo and behold 6 pm rolls around and of course no flowers. After some due diligence of checking them out on the internet my sister absolutely thought that she was speaking to a store or a florist here in Florida in Wilton Manors and after much investigation we found out that they are in New Jersey and they outsource the order to another florist who ever denteley did not have some flowers as my sister would guaranteed they would be! This company is a total scam. I’m going to also put a scans and other reviews out there regarding this and I’m calling the Better Business Bureau as well. I explained this was the second time they’ve ruined a delivery date. I want my money back. She tried to say I can get partial back. Then tried to give me a credit. I said, "No! This is your ** up.     Ordered an arrangement for our anniversary yesterday. Was delivered on time and went smooth till my wife sent me a picture of it. Looks nothing like the picture! Less flowers, wrong colors and baby's breath filler taking up easily 60% of the arrangement!!! I’m glad my wife was happy (doesn't know anything about flowers) but I was furious. Called them today to inform them of the shortage here, at the least I expected them to take the photo of the arrangement and make a new one! But no, 10% refund...that's it!!! Never let me send the photo, wouldn't take it. I spoke to the "manager", unbelievably rude, wouldn't let me speak, couldn't finish a sentence with her at all.

    Now to make it more of a complete picture, my mother is a Texas Master Florist and has been in the business of flowers since I was in diapers, almost 30 years later now I happen to know a lot about flowers and floral work as well. I paid extra for this arrangement to be a "large size" to include "more flowers", it's smaller in diameter than the description and all of the above mentioned issues... This is complete Thievery! $97 for an ugly arrangement with baby's breath everywhere... Absolutely unsat! I do NOT recommend them! And will never shop there again!     Please do not buy from Avas Flowers. They substituted my order of Light Pink roses with white in them to a very dark Hot Pink rose. I ordered then at 9:07 am and they delivered them at 5:06 pm that day. Even though the florist is literally 1/2 a mile down the street form the delivery address. I complained and they said they were allowed to substitute and they would do nothing. This was my first time ordering from them. I actually thought I was ordering from a local, florist. Not!!     Ahhh… Avas Flowers... Avas has a beautiful website that showcases many stunningly beautiful floral arrangements. So I placed an order with Avas on 3.22.2019. (Order #**). Avas Website indicated that they were a "local shop". However, I later learned this is not the case. As I said, I placed an order with Avas on 3.22.2019 and on 3-25, Alexandra (a Manager) was still telling me (via e-mail): "We have contacted our local shop that delivered the flowers, and we are looking for the best resolution for you. We will continue to contact them. We will reach back out to you to work on a resolution."

    Hindsight is ALWAYS "20-20"! I really wished I would've checked dear Avas reviews prior to placing my order! "The Review Scale" is graded on 1-5. If Avas received a score that was indicative of her work, we may have to get into the negative figures. By the close of business on the 22nd I knew that "I'd been had", so I placed another order with a reputable Flower Shop. IT TOOK NEARLY A MONTH for my Credit Card Co. to get my money back. I know I've written said quite a lot, but if you only remember one thing that I've written, DON'T USE AVAS FLOWERS!

Although the delivery was around the time I requested the arrangement was not anywhere as pictured and had two flowers less. I called and reported the issue and now working on a resolution.     Ordered flowers for a work colleague and was very disappointed in the final product. Not to mention, the website said "free delivery" but I was charged $14 for service & handling. I did not find this out until the final processing of my order. I went ahead with it due to time constraints - just wish it wasn't buried. Flowers were loaded with greenery, but not a lot of flower color. Definitely didn't look like the picture. Was shocked that they couldn't even put a ribbon on the vase (such a simple and inexpensive additive). Their response, when I complained, was that it met their standards. Certainly didn't meet mine or the other 40 people in my office. I wished I had taken the time to review other reviews before I ordered. We will not order from them again. Leslie - Maryland.

    I wish I would have read reviews before using Avas Flowers because those alone would have deterred me. The display I ordered and paid $70.00 for was underwhelming to say the least and not at all what was represented online. Customer service was unapologetic and stopped responding pretty quickly; there was no effort to resolve the issue or correct their mistake. I was unbelievably disappointed and embarrassed with the gift my mother received for her birthday. Get more for your money by going to a more professional and caring floral shop.

    I wish I could change my answers to the original survey for the following reasons:

    1. The website was very misleading in a few ways:

    a) The site has a bold "in your face statement" for 45% off on Today's Sale - Online only. I did not see where the "today's sale" reflected a 45% off regular price of this arrangement; but today with this survey; a small disclaimer at bottom stating "in select areas only". What in the world does that mean???
    b) After entering all necessary information including the credit card information, then the price reflects a very high service fee (much higher than other area florists) My bill went from $39.99 to 53.98. A 28% INCREASE!

    c) The website says the arrangement would look similar but was not guaranteed to look identical to the product shown. There was not a single yellow flower mixed in the arrangement. The flower arrangement did not look like the orange sunset described but rather a sunkist orange soda. All the flowers were orange; not variety of color.

    2) For a happy birthday gift sent to my mother, upon arrival of the flowers, the first words I hear are "Thank you but the roses look old and wilting. They are browning around the edges.” The more I think about the quality of the product and the misleading website and charges, I am very dissatisfied with my decision to purchase from Avas flowers.

    Ordered flowers for Easter and they were never delivered. Calling customer support was tenuous at best. Young man was courteous but I could not understand his heavy accent. We ended up spelling words so I could understand. Each question I asked required him putting me on hold (36 minutes total). I was first told that I was past their 24 hour window after delivery to complain. Flowers were not delivered so I cannot comment on the flowers. Around and around we went. I was going to ask for redelivery, but opted for refund. Could not do refund as it was past the 24 hours. Still going in circles. Supervisor had just “stepped into a meeting”. Finally they agreed to refund after they verified flowers were not delivered. So now I am a liar too? Ugh. Will never use them again.

    Shame on me for not looking up the reviews on Avas Flowers, I will never ever order flowers from them. I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday, when she got them it was a very small arrangement and the card inside said Get Well Soon. I gave them a call and they told me they would take care of it the next day. The next day came and went and this went on for 3 more days, then they sent me a email saying they didn't have the flowers that I wanted but that they would deliver them on Monday and they would give me a 15.00 credit for the next time I buy flowers. I emailed them back, told them to shove the flowers and I will be getting a full credit, I had to go though my bank to get it though, will not order from them again.

    I ordered flowers online from Avas. When I went to visit my daughter the day after delivery I was totally shocked and embarrassed to see the pitiful arrangement that she received. They looked nothing like the picture and I paid $ 70.00 for 5 half dead flowers. I called the company four times. Each person I spoke to gave me a different email address to send a picture of the flowers. When I entered the email address I was notified that it was not a valid address. This company has a real racket going on. I was never contacted by them and feel like I threw away $70. Please do not order from them. The Better Business Bureau should look into Avas Flowers.

    I paid 68 dollars on the website and was charged 100$. The Flowers were not Available and They said they could deliver a different arrangement a day later. The Flowers were wilted and not even close to what I ordered. They will not refund my money. Run From this company as fast as possible.

    I ordered a medium vase of flowers on Friday evening before 5:00PM. My friend had surgery on Friday morning. I told the representative that my friend was probably not going to be at LIJ Manhasset in the afternoon and I requested that the flowers be delivered in the morning before noon. I got an email confirmation late in the day on Saturday that the flowers were delivered at 12:35PM. My friend was released at 12:00PM. I called them back to tell Avas Flowers that the flowers were delivered too late and that my friend left the Hospital 35 minutes before they were delivered.

    I then told the Representative that I wanted the Flowers delivered to the home where my friend is staying. They assured me that they would be delivered, but they were not. On Sunday, I called them again and spoke to another Representative and I told him that I wasn’t going to pay for the delivery to the Hospital. I told him that they were to be delivered to the Home where my friend was staying. He assured me that they would. And again they lied to me. By Monday morning I called my Credit Card Company in Dispute.

    I rarely take the time to post a review of a company or product, but I feel I owe it to potential customers of Avas Flowers to put out a warning to BEWARE!! I ordered a special sweet pea arrangement one week ahead of delivery to my sister for her 80th b'day. I was assured that the flowers could be located for the delivery. I should have known there was trouble ahead when both my e-mail address AND my home address were missing information... first clue! I called the company and got both corrected immediately.

    The DAY of the delivery I received two voice mail messages and 3-4 e-mail messages saying the sweet peas couldn't be located and so snapdragons were going to be used instead because THEY LOOKED THE SAME!! REALLY!!! I was to phone and confirm the substitution. I phoned and was VERY definite in my dismissal of the substitution and saying if sweet peas weren't to be delivered, I would cancel my $71 order!!! They told me to ignore the e-mails and rest assured sweet peas would be delivered!

    WRONG... Sis sent me a photo of an incredibly sloppy arrangement in a Mason jar that contained snapdragons (5 stems--white), 5 stems of purple stock, a small white flower that I couldn't identify and 1 stem of greenery. When I called to complain and request a refund, I was told they would refund 10% to my credit card. With that insult and a followup e-mail to product quality and customer satisfaction, I kissed my $$$ goodbye and acknowledged I'd been HAD!! BTW, no consideration was made for the difference in time zones between NJ and UT or WA where order was made and where it was to be delivered. BUYER BEWARE... You just may get suckered!!

    I ordered flowers for a friend who lost his mother. The flowers did not get delivered before the funeral like they were supposed to. When I called I was told they would be there the next day by 1 pm. They did not arrive until two days after that! My friend works offshore and I stressed that to them and they assured me they would be delivered on Tuesday. He is now gone to work for a few weeks and cannot get his plant. I am furious!!!! I will never ever order another thing from Avas Flowers!

    My wife and I were looking to surprise my sister for Easter. I called Avas and spoke to a lady and she states that they were local to the town in Maine close to her. I ordered online on April 19th the arrangement and the HANDLING FEES totaled over 100.00 dollars. They guaranteed me it would be delivered on Sat. 4-21-19. I get an email stating that they are sorry but they cannot deliver due to not having the arrangement that we ordered. They said in the email that they could deliver on 4-23-19. IU called Easter Sunday at 9 a.m. and spoke to a guy named AL. Al kept me on the phone trying to save the order, I finally hung up on them and called my credit card bank and disputed any charges from these RIP OFFS. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THESE LIARS.

    The Company is the ABSOLUTE worst floral company in the entire country. Customer service is not local and can only read from script. Ordered a Spring arrangement for a friend who underwent major surgery. Arrangement arrived that looked like a child put random flowers together. Requested a redelivery as an option from their website. Instead, they want to provide a credit...for a future purchase. Unacceptable on all levels.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered the Pastel Grace & Wonder arrangement for $60 and what was delivered was a bouquet of cheap daisies and 3 pastel roses. The recipient was out of state and I didn't see the arrangement until a few days later. After an hour on the phone with the company & asking multiple times to speak to someone authorized to give a refund, they refused to offer one because I didn't notify them within 24 hours. Also, this is NOT A LOCAL COMPANY. There's no contact name they could give me to write a letter, and they wouldn't disclose the owner of the company.

    One failed delivery attempt claiming that no one was home which was a lie - I see this is a common pattern now that I wish I knew about before. Then, four failed attempts to resolve the issue with the customer service. Bottom line - no delivery and no refund. Avoid at all costs!

    I called Avas flowers for an arrangement to be sent to Verona WI. When the salesman came on the phone I asked if this was a local flower shop in Verona. He told me several times that they were in Verona, they delivered to Verona. I ordered an arrangement that was going to be $50.00 plus tax with no shipping charge or delivery charge. He gave me the total and it was going to be $80 and I asked how could that be. There was a service fee for $18.95. I told him I didn't want it for this price to cancel the order. He said he could talk to his manager and he got it down to $66. I said that I didn't want it and thank you and hung up.

    About one minute later I get a call from him and he said they could do a nice bouquet for $50. It wouldn't be the one I want but it would be very nice. I told him I had already told him no and I didn't want it! Needless to say I wasn't happy! I then went on to find the local florist and it was sent the next day and the picture of that bouquet was beautiful! Please, please, please do not use Avas Flowers!

    I tried Avas Flowers not once but twice and BOTH times the flowers were not delivered. The first time after I called they delivered 2 days later, but the second time they wanted to deliver AFTER the holiday. I spent 3 hours off and on the phone trying to get my money back. I guess I should have checked here before doing business with this company. Do NOT make the same mistake I made, go somewhere else for your flowers.

    This company is so obvious in their rip off that it's really comedic. After 5 agents who told stories of not being able to find my gated community (funny, I live in a prominent high rise with no gate), to it's on the way right now, then there was the story that my gated community guard tried to collect $10 to let them in (I live in a high rise). I guess they don't have google, and the last story was that they called the designer, and when I pushed the agent to tell who this mysterious local designer was, admitted that they couldn't get ahold of the unnamed shop or designer, but that they were sure that the people were on the way lol. Most of the agents had a very loud television playing in the background, and one agent had a kid yelling in the background, sketchy.

    They said it was against company policy to give the owner of the companies name (again I have google, it's Matt **) who will be receiving a message, and all of them also said they couldn't tell me who the Las Vegas affiliate was. When I stated that we wanted a refund after seeing all the one stars and rip off reports on this site, I was told there are no refunds and that you cannot cancel. Do not give this company your money, all you will get is people who do not have an excellent command of grammar let alone english, very loud television sets in the background, a bunch of excuses and lies, no flowers, and no refund.

    I purchased flowers for a funeral memorial service in another state and this company called me 3 hours later to state that "the designer" (assuming local florist) required $10 more on my order to come into his florist shop. This after I had paid an EXTRA $20 to deliver during a specific time frame (that had already passed). What??? If I would did not pay the extra $10 they could NOT fulfill the order. They offered a $20 credit towards a future purchase. I would NEVER order from them again!!! Are you kidding. Please don't waste your time at this delivery service. I am so angry and upset that I now cannot have flowers delivered to a family member's memorial.

    They took my order with the delivery address and ZIP code for a next day delivery of funeral flowers. It was not until after the time of delivery do I get a call that they do not have any local florist affiliations and now my sister does not have any family flowers for her husband's service. Their computer should have known immediately that they can not deliver to that ZIP code. While I was on hold the recording says they are your local florist. Lies!!! I do not believe that management will ever know that their system is screwed up, but they don’t care because their advertising gets them plenty of orders and so what if a few people get screwed.

    Do not order from this company. Avas Flowers has completely wasted my time and money. They delivered EXPIRED food in the gift basket. I emailed pictures of the expired dates. They were so slow to help through email. I called and was given the option to get a new basket and “let us know if any of the goods are expired within 24 hours”. WHAT?! I simply wanted a refund as I didn’t want another one of the cheap, expired, dusty gift baskets. They said they could only do that within 24 hours of delivery WHICH I DID. I wanted to speak to the highest person who could just give me a refund. The customer service “supervisor” said they weren’t there. Then I asked when they would be... They said they don’t work there. (????) After wasting 45 minutes of my life on the phone, I received a store credit. YAY! MORE EXPIRED FOOD. Don’t use them. Bye Felicia’s.

    I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement for my aunt with cancer, only given 4 months to live. She received a wilted flower arrangement and did not look like what I ordered. I contacted Avas flowers, they wouldn't resend the arrangement, they only wanted to refund me 10% of my $80.00 I spent with them. I will not EVER USE them. I was devastated my aunt received that.     I ordered flowers today for my sister-in-law's birthday. Their site said local, same day delivery... It also said free delivery but I noticed they charged $15.99 for a "service fee" instead... trickery. I paid it anyway and off my order went for a beautiful basket of yellow and white daisies. An hour later, I get a call from them asking me to pay MORE MONEY to deliver the flowers today or I could keep my order but have it delivered the next day (and then she started to describe some purple Iris??? I WANTED Daisies, that's not even similar!!). I started to complain that it seemed sketchy to be asking me for $5 additional (I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the point), and that it's false advertising and unprofessional to even be calling me about the driver wanting $5 more. She wouldn't budge, so I canceled my order. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not trustworthy to deliver what you order, for the price you order, when you want it delivered or even what you order.

    SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! I ordered a bouquet of flowers, with a card and balloon, for my mother's birthday, to be delivered same day. The flowers never arrived. The website advertises same day delivery until 7 pm "local time" if your order is placed by 2 pm "local time." I order at noon "local time", and they were not delivered. Not only that, but they tell you 7 pm, yet all the local florists closed at 5 pm. Called the next morning to called the order, since it wasn't even attempted (my stepfather kept my mom home waiting). And they said had to contact the local florist for delivery inquiry, which was closed, as it's a 3hr time difference.

    I asked what florist they use and the lady refused to tell me. Said it's "confidential." It's OK to take nearly $90 from me, but I can't know the name of the local florist? Funny. I asked for a manager and I was told they're too busy. I asked again. Too busy. I demanded a manager and information the lady I would be making a complaint to BBB, and she told me she'll TRY to get a manager. Came back a few mins later and said they're too busy. Too busy to help and unsatisfied customer? I told her I'll wait. She told me they'll call me back later. Unacceptable. I'll wait. She came back again... "Sorry ma'am, they're all busy." WOW! Read the reviews on BBB and Consumer Affairs, and stay away from this SCAM COMPANY!!!

    The Anniversary flowers I ordered never showed up. When I finally called after 8:00 pm to try to track them down, they had no good excuse; only that they would try to deliver them the next day. No calls to tell me there are issues; no calls to tell me they are unable to meet the agreement; nothing.     My sister ordered fruit for me since I am home recovering from major surgery. They didn't tell her that they wouldn't leave fruit at the door but left me a message to call them before they could deliver. The number they left me went straight to a message that said their VM box hadn't been set up yet so I couldn't reach them. I had to call the 800# twice before I reached a noisy call center where we had to shout at each other. After being put on hold twice, the excuse they made was to say they had tried to reach me all day but had a wrong number for me. Hmmmm... Then how is it they had left me a message? Anyway, they are supposedly on their way and I will try to use my walker to get to the front door to make sure they just leave the box (I'm not allowed to carry anything). I'll have my caregiver bring it in when she gets here tonight. If their fruit is like their service, it's not going to be worth it anyway.

    DO NOT USE AVAS. THEY ARE A SCAM. Was looking for a florist in Catonsville, MD in the 21228 zipcode. Seen the ad for AVAS. Picked out a arrangement. Told them I needed it delivered the next day by 11 am. "Ok. No problem." Well it is the next day. Have called them twice. It is now 1:43 pm and no flowers. Tried to find out what floral shop is doing the arrangement but they will not give me the number. My mother worked in a Floral shop as well as I did. I delivered flowers. I thought it was a local florist. Well it is not now. Please do not use this company. They are crooked and really do not care about your flowers.

    Once in a lifetime event spoiled by Avas Flowers. Purchased a nice rose sympathy bouquet for my departed friend... Emailed them a pic of what I received and what was ordered. Then called them... They stated there will be no full refund. I ask the guy on the phone with customer service if he can see the pics that I sent, and he replied, "Yes." I ask him if he can see clearly the 2 pics and replied, "Yes..." I then ask him if they resembled each other in any way and he stated, "NO." I THEN ASK him if he would pay over 100 for the flowers in pic. He replied, "NO." Reviews are very important and I have hopes that no one ever buys from this Avas Flowers.

    My experience was awful. I am so upset you just can't understand. What Ava's Flowers chose to do is beyond despicable and just downright horrible. I paid $102 for pink/ivory Artisan14VX-LX AND paid extra for a full sized greeting card to go with the arrangement. This arrangement I understand might come slightly different due to the flowers available to the florist.

    However, I chose a pink/ivory color scheme because it was a funeral and it was the deceased mom of my friend's favorite colors. First, this never showed up to the funeral home even though I got an email that said it was delivered. I ordered it to be delivered on 4/10 the morning of the funeral to be there so my friend Patti could take it home with her afterwards. What got delivered you ask??? Not a DAMN thing...there was an arrangement that got delivered that was nothing like I ordered (orange roses, purple irises, something pink) with no card, no greeting, no name, no address, no identifying details at all from any florist.

    My friend Patti doesn't know who sent them but thinks those might have been what I ordered. I am so disgusted if this is what the florist chose to deliver instead of what I paid for. This was a funeral, supposed to be something classy and elegant, not wildflower and in a ** mason jar. I don't think you can even understand my HORROR realizing last night when I spoke to my friend to see if she got the arrangement. Did I mention HORROR???? How could this have gone so very wrong? There was no card that I paid for, there were no classy, elegant flowers for a FUNERAL in a mason jar.

    I am so very angry. I am actually in tears. Sending flowers to my friend Patti was the best thing I could do since I live on the west coast for a short time and this was supposed to help her know I was thinking about her and her family. Now she is left with the impression that I just didn't care enough to send the best or even acknowledge her mom's passing. Embarrassing.

    I have reached out to Ava's Flowers whose only suggestion was to give me a credit for $15 to your website for future ordering. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I won't be ordering from your company ever again, my anger is just so very palpable right now from your mistake not just in NOT delivering anything close to what I ordered but NOT making it right after. The florist who delivered must have known what an ** thing he was doing because he left off all identifying information. Yes, there was no card as I mentioned, no information of who sent the flowers or who delivered them. This is one of those moments I needed your help to let someone know I cared enough to send them some flowers, a thought of kindness in a time of grief and you failed miserably. Shame on you.

    My order was for 9 sets of 3 clear vases each holding 1 Gerbera Daisy & Baby’s Breath. I paid $489 for the flowers. At the prearranged delivery time, no flowers. 1-hr after delivery time still no flowers. I called Avas. I was told the designer couldn’t be reached & my delivery “was probably” on its way. I asked for the name of the local florist who was delivering for Avas but was told they couldn’t give me that information. Having no choice, I had to scramble around for centerpieces for my event which would start in 3 hours. I went to the store & bought enough to do 9 tables. I spent $434. I want my money back. Stealing is wrong. Scamming is wrong. The things that Avas's does to steal your money probably makes some people cry. I cried. The almost $900 that I had to spend today is going to make my life harder. How do I make up the money that was stolen from me? Nobody should treat another person that way.

    Please do not use Avas Flowers. I ordered 2 arrangements for my brother’s funeral. They came late. One Sympathy Wreath was very small and didn’t look like what they advertised on their page, although it was not cheap. A second basket was better, but the ribbon reading “Beloved Uncle, etc.” was written by hand in Magic Marker and had the letters “AMP AND” written in front of my son’s name. What is an AMP? I called from the funeral parlor to complain and the person that answered told me “Oh, I’ve been sick for two days and had to rush the order” - not my problem!! It was humiliating! Considering that other people’s arrangements were beautiful, mine were a huge disappointment. This was for my brother!!!

    Avas does not deserve to be in business. I ordered flowers as a 'congratulations' to my daughter who just moved into her new home. The flowers were delivered on time, only to be ant infested. She had to put them outside - not what I intended. To make matters worse, there is no phone number for Avas and no way to reach them. If I could, I would give them no stars - but it's not an option. Do yourself a favor - do not use this company!

    Avasflower.com is horrible. They ruined my anniversary surprise. I ordered flower to be delivered to my Fiancee during her work hours. I asked for them to be delivered between the hours of 10am and noon. After the deadline passes I called Avas Flowers to see when they would be delivered and they could not get ahold of the driver. Not only were the flowers not delivered I showed up to her work after the shop had already closed for the the day at 4 pm. I then called asking for a refund and they told me that I would only receive a partial refunded. How is that fair? Not only did I get screwed over, I then was told that I would have to follow up the next day to talk about a possible refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Order from somewhere else. Never going to order from them ever again. I have already told all my friends and family about this horrible experience.

    Shame on me for not checking on the reviews for this company, BEFORE I placed my order. This Company will be out of business the minute they will have to rely on REPEAT business. Take my word on it. I wasn't sure if I was placing an offshore bet or speaking to someone in their "Customer Service Department". Once I wasn't buying the line they tried to give me on why there was a $17.99 service charge added to the order that wasn't listed on the order, they hung on me. This happened 3 times. They orginally informed me the service charge was for the "care of the flowers" that were being delivered. At least that part was a little humorous. If anyone from the company has the guts to call and want to discuss further please feel free. **. Pleae take my advice and RUN!     Ordered flowers for a grand opening. Assured by person taking my order that they would be delivered in the morning. After 12:00 and they still aren't there. Paid over $100.00. Called customer service to speak with a manager and was told that he was unavailable and couldn't take my call but would return it. Surprise.... No call yet and no flowers delivered. I'll be persistent but I'd advise everyone to be wary. They don't deliver... in more ways than one.

    I ordered 2 $250 sympathy wreaths for 2 Line of Duty Deaths in Illinois. I asked for pictures of the final product and had to call repeatedly to remind them that I needed a picture of the wreaths. They then sent me an email stating that they didn't have time to send me a photo and I asked what they could do for me as I order hundred of wreaths a year and have never before been denied a photo. They finally found a photo of a wreath that was a quarter of the size of the advertised wreath and was told it is as close as they could get to it. We also paid $70 more than the price of the advertisement to get a fuller version. I am horrified and they refuse to do anything for us. We are ordering from a National Organization and will NEVER order from this place ever again.

    I called Avas Flowers in Trumbull, Connecticut. They lied and said they were local and their family owned business was near my friend’s house. I discussed in detail the floral arrangement I ordered and I referred to a product order on their website. They lied & said they would email a pic of the arrangement before they delivered it. They delivered a hideous cheap, sparse few flowers in an ugly, cheap vase. The arrangement was supposed to be a large centerpiece for a formal dinner. When I arrived to the dinner, I was mortified that my friend would think I would send such a bunch of junk. They have lied in working with my complaint. They did acknowledge that they did not deliver what I ordered. This is a criminal company. DO NOT USE THEM!

    I ordered a Medium size bouquet. Instead, my friend received a Small size bouquet, which was not nearly as impressive as the one I wanted. They admitted that on the recording of my conversation with their sales rep I ordered Medium. Yet they only agreed to refund me $10 - the difference between small and medium!

    I explained that the item I ordered was "Medium size bouquet of type x", I did not get that, and want a full refund. They refuse. I will have to go to my credit card company to follow up.

    Beware of AvaFlowers.com. They get 0 stars from me. They take your order, charge your credit card ($72.48), send an e-mail stating the order was delivered and then never deliver the flowers. On March 16 I ordered flowers to be sent. I found out on Sunday (4/7) that the flowers were never received. I called them and they said the most they can do is give me a 10% discount back to my credit card...seriously! They want to refund me $7.24 for a delivery that was never made! I asked them to give me the name of the local florist they used and she told me that for security reasons, they can't tell me. I wonder how many people they have ripped off like this. I am livid!

    If I could give Zero stars, I would. Ordered flowers to be delivered the following day. I asked if this was a brick and mortar store, I was told yes. It is not, it's a 1-800-Flowers type of company. Long story short, the flowers were never delivered. Extremely rude customer service. When I asked why the flowers were not delivered, I never received an answer. They offered me a $6.90 refund for a $ 100.00 Bouquet. I should say the price start at $69.99 and ended up costing $100.00. They charge $18.95 for flower handling. Do not use this company. A simple flower delivery became a huge hassle. I spent close to 2 hours on the phone try to get a refund for flowers that were never delivered. Horrible experience and poor excuse for a business.

    Ordered bouquet by phone. Asked about the difference between the $42 and $52 bouquet and was told the extra $10 would get you an extra 20 flowers. I said ok and then he told me the total was $81. I asked why and he said there was an $18.95 delivery fee. I asked why the ad said free delivery, and he said it was a charge for proper handling. Like an idiot I said ok and paid the $81. When we got to NC my Mom had a little $42 bouquet with around 20 flowers in it. Got back to Mi and called to at least get $10 back. They even had a phone menu option for refunds. After a lot of hassle they said they would send a refund. They refunded $5.99 because I didn't call within 48 hours. I'll let the credit card company dispute the charge. I spent over an hour on the phone with the idiots.

    I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter on her birthday. I thought it was a local florist, not a 1-800 number. The flowers were not delivered in the time frame I requested, so I called and the customer service representative was not helpful and just kept telling me to not worry. Not sure why since they still haven't delivered them. When would I worry? Ridiculous. This is not rocket science, just a simple flower delivery. That shouldn't be difficult. I wish I had researched them better before I ordered. So they ruined my gift to my daughter. This is an issue that can't be made okay.

    This is a terrible company. I ordered flowers for my sister’s 60th birthday several days in advance. On the day of her birthday they informed me that they did not have the flowers I had chosen and were going to substitute other flowers. Later, they called me (several hours after the flowers were supposed to have been delivered) and said their truck had broken down and they could not deliver. Do not use this company.

    I called at 9:15 am on the Friday before my son’s senior Prom to order a corsage. They took my order, went over colors and styles, and charged my credit card. At 4:45 pm, they called and told me the sales associate had made a mistake, that they don’t do corsages anymore. Granted, my son left the purchase of the corsage a little late, but this place took my order and my money and gave me a confirmation number, then waited the entire day, until the time that any other florist I might try would be closing, to let me know the corsage wasn’t happening. The night before Prom. They offered me a plant. Seriously, they asked if I wanted a plant or another arrangement. I hung up. Then they called me back to ask if I wanted a store credit against a future purchase or a refund. What, did they think I was actually going to buy something from them ever again? Don’t trust them.

    [I'm posting the following on every website I can find that reviews Avas.] Do NOT buy here. Rip off. In my case, besides doubling the advertised price for a smaller bouquet than I'd ordered, they did not deliver the next day as their website promises. (They offered to do so for - wait for it - a higher price. I declined.) As compensation for the 3-day late delivery, they promised to upgrade the order. They didn't do that either. What arrived instead was a small boring group of flowers. "Arrived" means it was left in the back door of a snowy Rocky Moutain home. I called to complain. The rep would not resend. Instead, he offered me a discount. Uh huh. So does the Avas website, and that's - forgive the pun - a crock. Now I'm on interminable hold to complain to a supervisor.... I rate Avas a one, the lowest option offered on this form. Would that there were a zero option. c.: contact@avas.com plus every website I can find that reviews Avas.

    The delivery I received was unsatisfactory. Not only was it not as advertised, its floral design looked poor. When I called in to inquire why I had spent 90 dollars on this travesty, they insulted me as a customer and wouldn’t even try to help me. This was a birthday gift for my mother and it was turned into a joke. The price wasn’t an issue, but I expect what I am promised and what I got was a random arrangement that didn’t even fill the vase it came in. I requested refund and they offered me $10 store credit. I am extremely disappointed and will not order from them in the future. I would like to give them big ZERO rating. A horrible company.

    I ordered flowers for my mother on Valentine's Day and they were not delivered on the 14th (which was fine), however, when the company called my mother about delivery on the 15th, she told them she would be out of town so she would not be able to receive the flowers until Monday. The flowers were never delivered and Ava's flowers won't return any phone calls or emails. It is now April 5, and I have only received 50% back from Ava's Flowers. They are claiming that the recipient "rejected" the order and that I still have to pay for the goods and attempted delivery. I have had to get my bank involved. DO NOT recommend, this has been a huge inconvenience.

    I ordered a My Sun, Moon, and Stars arrangement from Avas Flowers for my 95-year-old grandmother who has been in the hospital out of state. I paid for the arrangement "as shown" in the website photo and did not receive anything close to what was shown. My aunt sent me a photo of what was delivered because she felt it did not match the description of what I told her was sent. I emailed customer service for Avas Flowers immediately and included photos of the arrangement. I requested a replacement arrangement that matched what I ordered, I believed that was a reasonable request. They denied my request and gave me a 10% refund instead. I did not want a refund and I communicated that to the customer service agent. I asked them to deliver the correct arrangement and have received no further communication. I am extremely disappointed and will not do business with them in the future. Do NOT order flowers from Avas Flowers.

    I WOULD PREFER TO GIVE THEM A ZERO RATING, BUT DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE. Avas Flower is a complete RIP OFF, so I guess I am not surprised to see the many disappointed and frustrated customers who have voiced their opinions on this website. I ordered a very nice bouquet of assorted flowers (which included lilies, carnations, roses, etc. ), what I received was a phone call stating that they could not deliver on time nor were they able to deliver what I had ordered. As a substitute, I was promised two dozen roses arranged beautifully in an assortment of greenery. What my mother-in-law received (I have photo), was roses dropped into a vase with no attempt at an arrangement or making it look eye appealing.

    Based on the numerous complaints and customers who did not receive what they ordered, I would have to say that their website is FALSE ADVERTISING, NO GUARANTEED DELIVERY, PAID SERVICE FEE OF $17.99 (For what? I have no idea), THEIR PRODUCT WAS HORRIBLE & THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE

    I have sent no less than 6 emails outlining my concerns, but each response was from a different person with the email address manager@avasflowers.com. After refusing their ridiculous offer of $15 store credit for future use within 1 year, I finally spoke with someone who indicated they would refund half my purchase. Before I agreed to anything, I requested a total...I was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes & when she came back she said, "I refunded $18.10 back to your card." Ummm...I didn't agree to that & it wasn't even half of the purchase price.

    She then says, "I have you recorded and agreeing to this." Okay, that's illegal to record someone without their knowledge and to tell me after the fact. And again, I did not agree to it without the total...which was not given to me until after it had already been refunded. Think twice before using Avas Flowers...they falsely advertise their products, what is ultimately delivered is not worth the money paid and their business practices are shady and unethical!!!

    I live in Gold Beach, OR and shopped online for birthday flowers to be delivered to my daughter-in-law in Charles Town, WV. Avas advertises "Same Day Delivery Available" and that they were the #1 florist in Charles Town. Imagine my surprise [after I had ordered online Friday 03/29/19 for a delivery on Monday 04/01/19] to discover on Monday that the local Avas flower shop was closed on Mondays and the birthday flowers I ordered would not be delivered until Tuesday 04/02/19.

    Surely in this day of advanced communication Avas should have known whether the local flower shop was able to make a Monday delivery and either direct my order to another shop that could make this delivery, or let me know that shop could not make Monday deliveries and given me the opportunity to find another source. Flowers are sent for an occasion or event and are meant to be delivered on the day of the occasion or event. That is how the flowers help make the occasion or event special. Avas certainly had no problem taking my money in advance for that delivery.

    I placed a phone order for a medium sized bouquet for my daughter's birthday. In the description it stated that it was stargazer lilies with a backdrop of seasonal flowers. The seasonal flowers were un-named. I asked the person taking my order specifically if there would be stargazer lilies as these were my daughter's favorite. I was assured that the bouquet would be stargazer lilies as in the photo and description. Satisfied with the response I paid $65.69. My daughter sent a photo of the surprise bouquet I sent her. We were both surprised. There wasn't a stargazer lily in it. In fact the whole thing was pale pink with greenery. It didn't even resemble what I ordered.

    After 2 phone calls I was refunded $5.40 So I ended up paying $60 for something I didn't order. After I told them I wouldn't use them again they offered me $15 credit with them and then upped it to $20. I told them to keep it. Why would I use them again? They take your money, send whatever flowers they have on hand and charge you full price. Then want you to use them again. Had they contacted me, I would have appreciated it, gone elsewhere and gotten her favorite flowers for her birthday but considered using them again for helping me out. Terrible customer service. Will never use again.

Today is 4/1, not delivered. Five phone calls, 7 emails, inarticulate runaround. In my 72 years on this planet, I have never had such a mishandled mess with anybody!     I paid $85 for a lg springtime flower arrangement to be delivered same day to a local hospital. I received a text confirmation that it was delivered but it did not arrive. I called the company 3 times and was told each time they would contact the designer then call me back. I never got a callback. The flowers did finally arrive 2 days late and was the ugliest arrangement I have seen. The bouquet was very small and most of the flowers were wilted and/or brown and dried. The vase was full of leaves and sediment at the bottom. I called again for a refund and was told they would have to call me back after they spoke to the designer. They would not provide the designer's info and thus far... no callback. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever.

    I received this bouquet in 24 hours. The flowers were in no water at all. It said to put them into water with flower food. There was no flower food. The flowers are basically dead, droopy to the point of no return. Makes me mad that a lot of money was paid for me to have these flowers and they could be so careless in the way they were shipped.

    3/26 Ordered flowers for deliver same day as advertisement indicates. No delivery. Called next day. Said I would get a credit and they would deliver. I said forget it. No one would be home. I gave them the number again and said to call. They kept me on hold for 13 minutes and never came back on. Day three they showed up and delivered some flowers with no card. I placed a comment on their comment area. Day four I get a an email that they were sorry I was not happy (hardly) and would give me a $20 certificate for my next order. That won't happen.     A bouquet of flowers were delivered on time. However what was delivered was not what I ordered. It was long stem with some yellow and some white with lots of greenery. I ordered the Dreaming of Tuscany with multi spring colors and flowers. Also, it was supposed to come with a ribbon and did not. Online the $42.99 bouquet cost me over $80.00 and I only added a $3.99 card. I am outraged and hope this company knows that my bad review will go a lot farther than any others' review.

    They have a website that takes orders for cities all over the country, but in my case don't even have a florist in my city! Rather than admitting this up-front, they delayed my order for days claiming "unforeseen circumstances". Finally, after my partner's birthday had come and gone, they admit they don't actually have a florist in my area. They then offer to send flowers in the mail! I have asked for a full refund and have yet to receive it. So for $70 I had the pleasure of spending about an hour on the phone with them over the span of 4 phone calls, plus about a dozen emails back and forth. Avoid this scam company! They should be sued for false advertising.

    I checked the website and then called. The price when calling is significantly higher than the online price. I, stupidly, placed the order and then checked the reviews. Contacting them is next to impossible for anything other than placing an order. Took two days to finally resolve the issue and get the order canceled. They desperately wanted my order and offered an upgrade and then store credit with a 20% increase. I said I never wanted to deal with them again, I just want a refund. After being on hold for another 15 minutes they say I've been refunded. Waiting to see the results of that. Do your research first.

    On 2/11/19 I placed an order for my niece’s birthday; cost $73.51. From their fraudulent website, I ordered “artist design; pink and green delight.” I was at a disadvantage because I live in North Carolina and she lives in Atlanta. So, I believed them when they promised the design would be fresh and pretty. What they delivered was anything but a pretty artist design. They delivered leftover broken, faded, and browned scraps of flowers that were packed in a glass vase. My niece sent me a pic of the floral MESS. I was appalled!

    Not to forget, they also had hidden charges that were included on the back end of the order. I called the following day and voiced my dissatisfaction. They dismissed my complaint and made excuses that they would call me back. I have not heard from them since. This is not a legitimate floral company. I am not the only one who has been duped by Avas (read other review sites). Please, do not spend your money here. Consider yourself warned. DON’T DO IT!

    Using the website of Avas Flowers I ordered same-day delivery of birthday flowers in College Station, TX around noon. Then at 5:25pm I received an email saying "Order Delivered" but in the body of the email was the message, "Our system indicates that your order has been reported as successfully delivered! ACTUAL DELIVERY DATE: 03/27. ACTUAL DELIVERY TIME: 05:25 PM. This item was attempted; however, this was brought back to the store. Please send additional $15 for re-delivery." This is a deceptive trade practice to try to extort additional money in order to re-attempt delivery, rather than simply leaving the product on the doorstep as would be customary.

    Additionally, there is false advertisement on the website offering "Free Shipping" on the order, which obfuscates the $16 charge for handling of the shipment added on only at the very end of the transaction, which is obviously a fee for shipment and thus not "free." These practices are illegal. I emailed customer service to indicate that I was not interested in paying additional money to re-attempt delivery, and that they must cancel the order and refund my money immediately. I am still waiting for a response.

    My friend ordered a Peace Lily basket for my sister’s funeral service. Avas Flowers advertises same day delivery; the arrangement was ordered two days in advance and still did not arrive in time for the funeral service! Later that afternoon I went back to the funeral home to collect the arrangements etc. and was told by the funeral director that after the service was over and everyone had left, the arrangement was delivered by Avas Flowers. When my friend phoned to try to get an adjustment on her cost of the floral order, they were very rude, didn’t call her back for days and finally only offered a $15 gift card toward another purchase, and that’s on an order that cost nearly $100, are you kidding me, these people are a joke, unprofessional and should be put out of business! DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS!

    I had almost the exact same issues as Susan of Buford, GA (Verified Reviewer) who posted on this site today: March 26, 2019. I liked the Floral Harmony Bouquet for someone who just returned from the hospital. The bouquet shown as identified as the medium size, they also have a "Large: and "LUXURY GRADE" sizes. I ordered the largest they have the "LUXURY GRADE" size which cost nearly $96.

    What they received, they sent me a picture to thank me, and it looks terrible. It looks smaller than the Medium size on their website, really embarrassing. Terrible company, will never use them again. I did call and they are offering me $15 back, which went up to 20% ($19.20) speaking to the "manager". This means they are charging me for a Large. I want what they advertised, not the partial refund. They have embarrassed me with this terrible bouquet they delivered and are telling me they can't redo it. I wish I could post the pics of the website versus what I received, but I don't see the option to upload an image.

We came up with a floral design and price with delivery which he stated would be done within 2 hours and I paid for the transaction. Unfortunately at 4:00, 3 hours later I was called and they attempted to force me to pay an additional $16.00 because they couldn’t use their usual delivery company. Obviously, I canceled the transaction and placed the order with a different floral provider.

    I ordered a LARGE bouquet (given choice of S-M-L-XL) and paid nearly $100 for it. I just happened to be at the house where they were delivered later that week and was horrified to see what had been delivered. The worst part is that the person who received them was too polite to question what arrived. It was embarrassing, at best. What was delivered was a small version, at best, and the flowers were old and stale. I have photos to back this up. I called avasflowers.net the next day and was told I only have 24 hours to report a problem and we were past that. They refused to do anything. After going back and forth with customer service for a couple days, they finally gave me a $15 credit towards future flowers.     It started on a Sunday morning. My dad lost his mom, I called to see if they could deliver flowers same day. I was told that they could do that. Purchased the flowers. Got an email letting me know that my order was scheduled for delivery. As the day went on, no delivery confirmation. Later in the evening I received an email stating that the delivery did not happen, the driver did not update and was asked to call or email regarding this matter. Monday morning I phoned to check the status of the order and was told that they flower shop did not deliver on Sundays. Well that would have been nice to know... and why the email that my order was scheduled for delivery?? The order is now scheduled for Monday.

    Upon checking the tracking it stated that delivery confirmation was pending. I had to call twice to check the status as the day went on. Frustrated beyond imagination I called my dad to let him know that I was trying to send him flowers and asked that he let me know if they are ever delivered. NOW the element of surprise and thoughtfulness is completely out the door.

    So my last phone call the them, they stated that the order was out for delivery. I asked if they could just leave the flowers as my dad is not home, they said as long as you authorize them to do that, then yes they can. I asked them to leave the order. Upon hanging up with them, my dad called and informed me that a friend stopped by his house and the flowers were on the porch. In my opinion the flowers were left prior to my authorization. I NEVER did get a delivery confirmation and the order did not look anything like the picture indicated they would. They are very nice, but not to my expectation by any means. Not very pleased with my experience. I should have researched a little better and contacted a local florist directly.

    Avas Flowers delivered flowers to the billing address instead of the delivery address. Called 4 times to get this rectified and they were incredibly rude and blamed it on me for confusing the billing address with the delivery address. The Avas Flowers website defaulted to Hudson, WI and the billing address is in New Hampshire. I would have had to purposely changed and really screw this up in order to change the town, state, and zip code to my own. Horrible horrible customer service experience so do yourself a favor and avoid Avas Flowers at all costs!!

    I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day. They weren't delivered, and when I tried to call I was on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I haven't received any answers to emails either. I had to file a credit card dispute. It's over two months later, and they responded to the credit card company saying they were delivered. They still didn't provide proof.

    As others have said, I would rate Avas a zero if it was an option. On 3/14/19 I performed an online search for a local florist in my son's town in Connecticut. Avas Flowers came up and I ordered a yucca plant and birthday balloon for his fiancé. A hyacinth plant without a balloon was delivered. Call #1 - a correction was to be sent; call #2 - I would receive a call back with a resolution as no replacement was received; call #3 - if they cannot fix, I will be refunded; call #4 hung up on; calls 5 and 6 were requests for a return call that was never received.

    Today, 3/23 I received a call telling me the replacement would be delivered by Monday, only to receive a call less than 30 minutes later saying they would substitute another flowering plant... Not what I ordered. I requested pictures of what they were sending. After at least 30 minutes and several times being placed on hold, I was told they could not send pictures. I requested a full refund and after another time on hold was informed that I could expect a refund. Time will tell; however, we have a dispute in with our bank as well over this charge.

    Thought I was ordering from a local florist. Got highjacked by Avas. Ordered what I thought was a beautiful vase of spring flowers for my Mom in Maine. What I got was a small vase of tulips. Sent an e-mail telling them I was not happy with what they sent, and they said "we sent you an e-mail, we were very busy and substitutions would be made" Fine I get that, but a handful of Tulips, sorry that was not $40.00 worth of tulips plus $16 delivery. Basically their e-mail was too bad, we gave you an upgrade to tulips. Wow if that was the upgrade, I would hate to see what they send out normally. Next time I will make sure I am ordering from a local business.

    One star because they do not let you give ZERO Terrible experience. I hope people read these reviews before they order!!! Don’t waste your money here. Order was delayed, TOTALLY wrong flowers, and they didn’t include the card that was suppose to have the message. My mom calls me from another state saying someone anonymously delivered her flowers... So that ruined the special moment for me because I had to tell her “oh it was me”. And to top it off customer service does not respond to your needs/concerns. Highly do not recommend.

    My grandmother was in the hospital in Indianapolis where I ordered flowers to be delivered the next day. Upon delivery on that afternoon she was moved to hospice where she never received the flowers after specific instructions were given to room number and Ward and that they needed to be delivered in the morning. My grandmother never received the $60 bouquet of flowers and because the company says that they were delivered to a hospital, not necessarily the ward that she was in, and since they received a signature there was nothing they would do for me about it. They did not offer me a refund, they did not offer to send another bouquet to the correct address, all they cared about was that it was delivered to a address and was signed by a person, not my grandmother or family members, and told me I was out $60.

    The person I spoke to in customer service, I could barely understand, when I asked for a manager the same thing happened, I could barely understand what he was saying and all he told me was sorry it's delivered that's all we can do. My grandmother never received the flowers and she passed away 2 days later. I would never recommend this company, all they care about is money, they do not care about the reason in which flowers are sent and have no empathy as to how important it is to try to cheer up a loved one who is suffering and far from loved ones. What a disgraceful company. Do not order from these people.

    My aunt lives in a different state, she wasn’t feeling well and I had used this company before and it wasn’t terrible so I decided to use them again to send her some flowers as a “get well”. I ordered on 3/20 @ 2:30 in the afternoon for them to be delivered on 3/21. 12 o’clock rolls around on 3/21 still haven’t heard anything about delivery. I call. They say they are on the truck. Should be delivered to her within an hour, okay no problem. 2:00 o’clock rolls around, still nothing. I call back. They assure me again she should be getting them any moment. Still nothing at 3:00. Call back, assured me on their way to her place of employment.

    I get off work at 4:15. Still haven’t heard anything. My aunt gets off at her job at 4:30. So I call Frantically hoping they are there, she didn’t receive her flowers until 4:25 on 3/21. 26 hours after I ordered, but yet do same day delivery? When she got the flowers, no vase. At this point I was very upset and called and asked to speak with a manager. Put me on hold for 15 plus min. I hang up and call back again, on hold 15 plus min. At this point I’m very very frustrated and call back and speak to a representative and he tells me “that’s what I ordered” I ordered the SAME thing as before and it got a vase.

    Online does not Specify this order would not come with a vase!!! Offers me $15 store credit. I told him absolutely not after the awful experience and living in another state, asked for a $15 refund to my card. He then laughs and says, "No but I can give you 10%." So I spend $60 on flowers I thought was coming with a vase for you to give me $6 back!? No way. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused. I’m absolutely livid. Order ANYWHERE but here. All they are in it for is your money. The most AWFUL experience I’ve ever encountered with a business. Safe yourself the money and the headache.

    I ordered two separate arrangements to be delivered. Both were a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Flowers delivered were not an arrangement, but flowers bunches together. What was delivered was nothing like the picture that I ordered from online... Not the same flowers, colors, or feel. It was so embarrassing. I would have been better off to not send anything. I spent a lot of money to send what I thought would be a beautiful arrangement. It was definitely awful.

    When I called to complain, they said I needed pictures. So I got pictures and emailed them. I received a call saying “sorry you are disappointed” but they said the arrangements followed their recipe correctly and was an artist design. It was terrible. I don’t know what their written recipe said - but it may as well have said disaster. They offered nothing more than “sorry arrangements didn’t fulfill your expectations.” I told them this was unacceptable and I expected a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Instead I received an email back telling me they had no further resolution. I WILL NEVER USE AVAS FLOWERS AGAIN... NEVER!

    I ordered a balloon bouquet two days before delivery 3/19/2019. I requested that it be delivered as early possible in the morning as the recipient was leaving work early. I also called the day before delivery to confirm the early delivery. I was told it would be delivered first thing in the morning 3/21/2019. I called again just now on 3/21 because it still has not been delivered. It is now 12:45pm. I was told it would be delivered "soon". The customer service rep did not even address the fact that it should be been delivered this morning. The recipient has left work and will not get the arrangement now. I normally use Harry's Famous Flowers in Orlando but Avas has the balloon bouquets so I used them. Never again. I wasted almost $80.00 and my gift was a waste of time. So disappointed.

    I have ordered flowers for our anniversary to deliver them to my husband. I made order on phone and they confirmed me that they would deliver within the same day. The order costed $75. Later, I received a email saying that they cannot deliver on the same day. When I called them back, they said me that they cannot refund whole money and can only give $50 back though it was their fault. They have disappointed me by not delivering on our anniversary and along with that they said that they would refund only $50. Never, ever order from them again.

    I've used Avas Flowers for the past 3 years and had no issues until this past Valentine's Day. I ordered an arrangement with a mylar balloon for Valentine's Day for my wife to be delivered to her office. I placed an order online on Feb. 9th, 2019 at 2:22pm - which I believed was more than sufficient time to place the order and have it delivered on time, and this was also sufficient time in case there was an issue with the order or to determine if it could be delivered. The order was never delivered, and I was also never contacted by Avas regarding their inability to be delivered. I sent 4 messages using their "Contact Us" page, and each time it said "we received your message and will be contacting you shortly" - WHICH NEVER HAPPENED!!! This was an order totaling $82.47 - a fairly substantial order considering that I am on disability (which is why I order the majority of items I need online).

    After waiting for a response which NEVER came, I called on March 19th. I was told that they were sorry for problem, but that they were very busy (duh - isn't that their business and shouldn't they have been prepared for large orders?). I was told that they were ready to resend the order, which I told them was silly since Valentine's Day is long past and I had to apologize to my wife (it looked like I forgot and that I was making up excuses). I told them that I was not a happy customer and all I wanted was a refund. I was only offered a reorder or a store credit, but no refund. I told her that I would not be reordering from Avas again based on this experience, and since I did not receive the item, that I should be refunded the full amount.

    The woman kept reading a script in over and over again that I could have it resent or a store credit - there were no other options. I told her that I paid the full amount up front with no questions, and that I should be given a full refund because I did not receive the order. That obviously didn't happen and I am now out $82.47 - my donation to Avas and the florist that they hired - how nice for them. I will NOT be ordering from them again - and it was a tough lesson to learn (it's tough being disabled and homebound and dependent upon the goodwill and honesty of others). Lesson learned.

    I ordered flowers for my Mother-in-law's funeral which was out of state. I was assured they would be there on time. I received a confirmation that they had been delivered at 3:40 pm on Thursday. So on the next day... Friday we arrived at the funeral home and didn't see the flowers that should have had beloved Mom. Nothing!!!

    The funeral director called this bull crap company and they told him they were delivered. They spoke to their designer and now they said the flowers were delivered on Friday. Which we were there and the funeral director told them there is no way there was a delivery. Then i was told there was a problem and they were waiting to speak to the designer again. And that I would be refunded and I would get a call. I never received a callback and I've been calling every chance I get and constantly am being hung up on as well as my card has NOT been refunded. The funeral director informed me that places like this love people who order out of state because 9 out of 10 times the one who orders don't go to the funeral and won't even realize the flowers never were there!!! These people are the biggest crooks. Please please DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE!!!

    I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. Avas flowers is the worst place I have EVER done business with. Offer same day delivery and my flowers were still frozen and not delivered over 24 hours later! Also my wife didn’t even get the arrangement I ordered because the flowers were still frozen! I was told it would be upgraded to the premium package as well and it looks like I picked weeds out of my front yard. Walmart flowers look 100 times better than what she received. Price online was 52 dollars. Ended up being 93 dollars!

    Went back and forth with customer service for a week and sent them pictures of what we received and they apologized for it so you know they were bad. They said it took so long because they were waiting from a response from the florist, but it wasn’t a problem getting a hold of them when I was asking where my order was. Wasted a week only to be told they would give me 8 dollars back. This place is a joke. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    My son ordered based on same day delivery advertised. After my card was charged, my son received an email stating that the arrangement ordered was not available same day, but they would upgrade to 12 pink boxed roses... Not at all an upgrade compared to arrangement purchased. I immediately called for a refund and was totally given the "runaround" - 3 customer service agents later was offered the pink roses delivered the next day and 30% refund; then 50% refund. I declined all offers and requested full refund. Then was told they would have to charge me sales tax and service fee??!! Absurd. As of now, I see a full refund on my card but still in processing stage. I did call my credit card company to inform in case I need to dispute charges. Website advertised as local florist. Not at all true, stay away.

    I purchased a lovely arrangement to be sent to my Goddaughter on the day she learned she had a earned a medical residency at a prestigious school. The flowers were ordered two days ahead and to be delivered to the home of a social worker and her husband, a well-known musician. They were hosting the party for my Goddaughter. Their phone number was furnished as well. I was very sad that due to injury I could not make the 5 hour drive to her celebration, but took comfort in the fact that I could send flowers.

    The family stayed home all afternoon waiting for delivery. Ava's texted me and said they had been delivered. I talked to 3 different people who kept maintaining that my goddaughter had signed for the flowers!!! They repeatedly took refuge in "we have a signature". I explained that none of the folk at that address would lie. They were unwilling to investigate any further. Customer service has not responded to my Emails. So I am ripped off of both my $ as well as the opportunity to celebrate a once-in a lifetime event with my Goddaughter.

    I ordered the Jade bouquet for my brother's birthday/retirement as he loves whites/creams/greens in floral arrangements only so it seemed perfect for him. The delivery was on time and the flowers looked healthy based on the picture he sent me, but they were nothing at all like the bouquet I had ordered. Pinks, yellows and purples. Their terms say they have to call before making a substitution like this to allow you to cancel, but they never did. I am still in back and forth process of resolution with customer service stating that the local store they used won't return their calls. I wouldn't use them again, felt like a classic bait and switch and they clearly just put together what they wanted in the moment, with no consideration of what the customer actually asked for.

    My daughters ordered me a beautiful bouquet of Daisies and wildflowers. They upgraded for 2x the amount shown in the picture. What I received was half dead cheap Roses. When my daughter called to complain that the flowers delivered were not what she ordered. They offered her 10% off another order. WTH kind of company does that. I would never ever recommend this company. They should be closed down for fraud and theft of services that were never rendered.

    Avasflowers.com took my order via phone 3/11/19 for a $132.00 spray of flowers for a funeral. The charge went through my bank 3/13/19. They were set up to deliver 3/14/19, the night before the funeral. I confirmed all details with the funeral home before ordering and gave all details to Avas. No flowers were delivered. I called Avas during the funeral and spoke to a man who said the florist called the night before and the funeral home said there was no funeral for that name and confirmed the name, funeral home and phone number I gave them, to me.

    This seems completely fabricated as the funeral was held today under all of that confirmed information. Apparently Avas calls the order in to a local florist (I thought Avas were local and didn’t know they were just a nationwide company who takes orders and passes it on to a local florist) but they refused to tell me who the local florist was so I could call and try to figure out what happened. Avas said the florist never made them as there was no funeral there and yet never called to tell me this, nor emailed me (I gave them my email for an order confirmation which they also never sent yet I was charged) when they supposedly found this out via their phone call to the funeral home.

    This spray was to stand next to the casket. I’m thoroughly disgusted at the non-delivery, untruths and secrecy of the name of the local florist keeping me from trying to figure out what happened with my order and possibly get something else delivered. They also don’t tell you they aren’t local and are going to call it into someone else to make, and have their advertising set to come up when you google a florist for a particular town. What a disaster. Waiting for a refund from these people.

    There should be a negative star option, ordered a $90 bouquet of flowers w/ a balloon a pink ribbon and full size card, received a vase w/ 4 roses 1 Gerber daisy, carnations and greens, balloon card and ribbon missing, I could have done a better job myself by just getting fresh flowers at the local fresh market, I called to complaint and got a $10 refund (wow!).     I placed an order for my husband's birthday -- a 12-rose bouquet and a birthday balloon -- the day before I wanted the order delivered to my husband's office. I waited all day to hear from my husband -- nothing. Then I got an e-mail with delivery confirmation that the flowers were dropped off at 4:10 pm that day. My husband had already left for the day. The next day he went into work -- NO FLOWERS. Nowhere to be found. I sent 2 e-mails of complaint to the company via their website; both bounced back. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to straighten out the situation. The customer service rep had me on hold for almost 15 minutes, only to come back and say that the flowers were never delivered and that the delivery confirmation was sent to me in error.

    I asked if the flowers could be sent to my husband today before 4 pm. He said yes. I told him I wanted a partial refund since the order was a day late, and he said he'd give me $20 in store credit to my account. I asked for $20 refunded back to my credit card and he said they would only refund $10. So at this point my husband may or may not get flowers today, and I may or may not get a $10 refund on my credit card on an almost-$90 order. I am VERY upset and will NEVER use this company again. They are terrible. I also plan to dispute the charge with my credit card if 1) the flowers don't arrive today, and 2) they are in lousy condition. HUGE mistake going with this company.

    Ordered a sympathy garden to be sent to family friend. It was nothing like I ordered. Had to call 3 times. Finally I was told they would credit my card 12.95. I paid 86.95. I told her I wanted a full refund since the product was nothing like what I ordered. She said they would go to the residence and take the plant back. What the heck.     On the morning of Valentine's Day, I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife. They were not delivered that day, and I thought that it was very likely a very busy day, and they would be delivered the next day. They were not delivered. I tried calling customer service on several occasions, and was never able to speak to a human representative. On my third attempt, I tried to leave a call back number, but before I could do it the connection was broken off.     Since I am 300 miles away, I ordered a cheery 'deluxe' (more flowers) Birthday Bouquet for my daughter's birthday. It was to be a surprise. I placed the order in the am of 3/5 to be delivered by lunch on 3/6 (her birthday). Finally, at 7 pm (the time the website said was the latest they deliver) I asked my daughter if she had received anything. She said no. Since Avas was closed, I sent a complaint by email. At 8:17PM a SMALL, DARK, arrangement was delivered to my daughter. It was in NO form the arrangement I ordered. They looked like something left over from a funeral. She did not receive the full size birthday card (an extra $3.99) that I paid for either. I truly believe that after my complaint, they had someone throw something together and get it to her house.

    For me, her birthday surprise was ruined. Again, I sent a complaint asking for a full refund. I even sent pictures of what I had ordered and what she received - which was totally different. After about 10 emails I was offered a 10% refund - I paid $84.97 and was offered a refund of $8.49. Needless to say, I told them to keep their 'refund.' I was NEVER offered another actual birthday arrangement sent to her, nor was I offered a full refund since I didn't get what I paid for. (A reputable company would have done either or both.) This company is such a scam. I would NOT recommend anyone using them for anything. I feel as if I was cheated out of my money. I could have gotten a better arrangement at a grocery store. Please do not use them.

    I ordered flowers for a funeral, I was promised delivery same day by 5:00 pm, I was unable to attend the funeral but had some comfort knowing I had sent flower. They called me 3 days after the funeral stating they did not have "any flowers in stock". How does a florist have no flowers. They kept saying they could delivery them this week and did not seem to understand the funeral was over. The customer service rep was very short with me and had no sympathy for the situation, he stated my money would be refunded but have checked my bank and it is still not there.

    I ask to speak with a supervisor. The rep laughed and said, "They are too busy for you" and hung up on me. I have emailed and called with no return calls, I gave them a bad review on Facebook and sent them a DM, they have now blocked me. I have called my bank a reported them. Wish I would have read all the reviews online before going through this nightmare, thought maybe I could at least save someone else the heartbreak I experienced. They screwed up the last thing I could have done for a dear friend.

    First of all, I googled local florist in the area of Chicago to be delivered to my daughter. Avas came up. I stupidly did not research customer ratings before ordering. Add on fees were almost as much as the cost of arrangement. Confirmation said delivery by 7:00 pm the next day. By this point I had googled ratings and was horrified by the across-the-board terrible reviews so I was nervous it would not get to my daughter's work. Called them to make sure it would be delivered earlier in the day as she leaves by 5:00. It was delivered around 1:00. Daughter sent me a picture of arrangement - pathetic! Flowers wilted, bouquet sparse. Called Avas back, they said they could credit me $20.00. I said not acceptable. Lots of back and forth phone calls and being on hold forever. Finally said they would credit me $40 and send new flowers. I said no, I want a full refund. Shockingly, I did get the refund. I just got lucky with that.

    My experience with Avas Flowers was the worst retail experience of my life. They QUOTED me $47 but CHARGED me $56 & did every single thing wrong on my order. I ordered on Saturday and THEY suggested a delivery of SUN by 12 NOON but the flowers didn't arrive until MONDAY. I would've been perfectly OK with them telling me to expect them on Monday, but Sunday was THEIR idea! When the flowers did finally arrive, EVERYTHING was wrong! The card had the WRONG MESSAGE & wasn't even SIGNED! They wrote the (incorrect) message on the TOP HALF of the card, which is not what you see when you open a card! On the bottom half, the part you DO SEE when you OPEN the card, they wrote "for future reference we don't deliver on Sunday".

    WHY on earth WOULD THEY TELL THE RECIPIENT THAT??? She DIDN'T ORDER THEM, they were a surprise! And since the card wasn't signed, she had NO IDEA WHO they were FROM! So she asked her boyfriend then called me. I wanted her to feel loved by me, but instead she got flowers with a reprimand on the card! They also put the WRONG FLOWERS in the bouquet! I ordered PURPLE & RED flowers for a reason, those colors had significance and I TOLD Avas Flowers that! They NEVER ONCE CONTACTED ME on their own accord to update me on anything. I contacted them several times on Sunday & they KEPT telling me not to worry, they'd DEFINITELY be delivered on Sunday.

    I COULDN'T TRACK the ORDER over the phone because it said there was no order with that number. When I tracked it ONLINE it did recognize the order number, but all it said was "delivery exception" which DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING to a customer! It took TEN CALLS & EMAILS just to get them to finally refund me $9 that they "accidentally" overcharged me, but I had to keep on them about it & they acted like they were doing me a FAVOR, and said "I can offer you a refund this one time only". I was only asking them to refund what they overcharged me! After the flowers were delivered I contacted them about the huge list of problems with the order they were actually rude & mean to me!

    Any ONE of their screw ups should've had the management contacting me, apologizing, and trying to rectify the situation, but instead what they did was treat me like garbage for 2 whole days. ALL I WANTED WAS TO SEND MY BEST FRIEND A BOUQUET OF flowers! I asked for the $9 price correction but no one would help me, talk to me, reply to my emails or apologize! So after 2 days of constantly being ignored I finally said I want a full refund and they had the nerve to finally reply to me & say they had already given me $9 refund! The $9 refund had nothing to do with the horrendous service, that $9 was the amount THEY OVERCHARGED me! At which point they replied and said they would give me $10 off my NEXT ORDER!

    No one would ever use that place a 2nd time! It took me a full week, 18 emails, and 10 phone calls and they finally gave me $20 refund. They said my situation didn't warrant a full refund and that they were doing this as a favor to me. I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, but the same day I placed my order with Avas Flowers, I had $422 of credit card fraud. I had just given Avas Flowers my credit card number & the code on the back of the card and suddenly I had $422 of fraud. Avas Flowers is a disgusting excuse for a company, they'll rip you off and then treat you terribly. Never use them.

    I ordered a floral arrangement of black roses with a black bow and the recipient received red roses with a squirt of black spray paint in the center of each and a bright red bow. It looked horrible and when I called to complain they didn't even apologize for doing such a horrible job, they just said, "That is what you ordered". AVOID THEM IF YOU WANT DECENT FLOWERS!!!

    I placed an online order for flower basket for my mom's birthday. They called me a few hours after the order placed and said they would need to charge an additional 20.00 to deliver. I had already paid online, including a delivery charge for the date I selected. When I said, "No, I would not pay more, just cancel the order entirely," they said they would still deliver on time and give me a $20.00 store credit; but I would have to give them my credit card information again so they could redo the order. I hung up and they continued to try to call me.

    My experience with Avas Flowers goes as follows. Failed to deliver flowers ordered to my 80 year old mother on her birthday. Failed to notify me of no delivery, via phone, email or even the tracking portal, which continued to say delivery pending even the next day. Failed to tell me over the phone, after two calls and a half hour of holding, on the evening of the scheduled delivery why the flowers weren't delivered, but instead suggested I call back the next day. Failed to contact me about a potential re-delivery the day after, but instead took the money out of my bank and made me call and hold and call and hold and hold to ask for a refund, only to be disconnected before confirming that a refund would occur, and then did not call back to finalize the process.

    Failed with their reply to the email I sent asking about the refund with loads of lip-service buzz-words, as if refunding my money is doing me a favor. Failed by sending an automated email telling me it could take ten days for the refund to go through, when it only took them one day to process the charge. Failed to honestly advertise their reviews on their site (will attach a photo). Ava used lip-service buzz-words in their correspondence with me like quality, service, satisfaction, priority, commitment and guarantee-care. Where I come from, only a full refund, a complimentary rescheduled delivery and an apology to my mom could back up boasts of of those standards. I'd rather wade through poison ivy and ticks to pick thistle and Queen Anne's lace myself from the field behind my house next time I need a bouquet than order from Avas Flowers.

    On March 7th I ordered online flowers for my wife for the March 8th. The flowers supposed to be delivered before 7pm. On March 8th around 5-6 pm I called them to find out where are my flowers, and the chain of lies started: they know nothing about the order, the local office dont answer, they will deliver the order next day etc etc... After a couple of hours on the phone with them they told me that they did an attempt and my wife didnt pick up the phone, which is not true, another lie.

    Next day I called them to get my money back, they said will charge me for that attempt, I asked them what number they called and they told me a wrong number, different from the number on the file. I told them it's their fault calling a wrong number, and they lied again, telling me that they didnt call my wife at all, because didnt want to ruin the surprise!!! They dont want to do a full refund, they want to charge me for that so-called attempt, which never happened!!! It's amazing how this company is still on the market. Dont work with this company, you will be surprised how many lies you'll hear from them. It's my worst experience, if you dont want to have your event ruined, dont work with them and dont give them your money!!!

    Asked for specific plant for funeral. Told they had it after spelling it out twice for them. They sold us the wrong plant probably figuring we wouldn’t notice. Then customer rep I reported this to insisted even after seeing the picture of what we got, insisted they sent the correct plant. So I was not told the truth twice by their customer support.

    I called AGAIN, and the rep told me they would reprimand the rep. They would give 15% of $115 back and $20 store credit. Not what I call a fair resolution. If I ordered a pair of pants and was sent a pair of shorts, shouldn’t I get a refund or the correct item? After debating this I contacted them AGAIN and I was told there was nothing else they can do. All I can say is SHOP LOCAL! Anytime you can. And don’t go with Avas for flowers/plants etc. I had a complaint the last time I ordered from them as well. They sent the wrong vase. I should not have given them a second chance.

    This place is a joke, the arrangement I ordered for a child's funeral was the wrong colors, the card was spelling incorrect after I spelt everything for the man I spoke too, I was also very specific with what colors I wanted and said they could do that. When I called to complain the woman stated I needed to call within 24hrs, when you are dealing with a death of a small child, the viewing and funeral you do not have time to call immediately to complain. She was very rude and I will never this place again.

    Be aware! Run away! Please do not do business with these scammers! They delivered Valentine’s Day flowers two days late, nothing like what we paid $115 for, and they were all half dead! No Customer Service, no call back, and when I disputed the charges with my bank they would call three times an hour every hour! This scam is to get you to admit that they were delivered, and then inform you that the delivery date, according to the Fine print, Is not guaranteed! On Valentine’s Day! This company is a scam! There is a reason they only have one star on Yelp and this site, with hundreds of reviews. Run away fast!

    Flowers were ordered for a funeral Jan 10,2019. Two out of the 3 types of flowers in arrangement were wilted. Verbal complaint was made via Customer Service Dept. Was told I would get a call back. No call after 5 days; I called again and got a recording that indicated complaint was being worked on. Checked credit card statement for 2 billing cycles. No refund was issued as a credit. Called 3/7/19. I was told it had been 2 months since I made initial complaint; Louis said too much time has passed. He could not help me. Asked to speak to supervisor; was told none available. Poor product and very poor customer service.

    Due to the sudden death of a family member and the quick funeral arrangements, we did a web search for a local florist to order our floral arrangement. Upon calling AVAS, they assured us that they were local and the order would be delivered on time. It turned out that they were not local and the order was never received but we were charged. We disputed the charges but somehow we were to show proof of non-receipt. They won the dispute due to the fact that they could deliver to the floral room of the funeral home without a signature. The flowers were not at the funeral nor did any family member ever receive them. If you wish to use this florist, be sure to read their guidelines and warranties. They are such that AVAS is covered for late or non deliveries.

    I ordered birthday flowers for my Mother online 2 weeks prior to her birthday. The flowers were delivered on time however the arrangement was less than half the size as the ones "as shown". I emailed them immediately to rectify my order and a representative emailed me back saying they would address it within 24 hours. 48 hours later I called them to inquire about the status of my complaint and they said they would be delivering a replacement bouquet that day. The replacement bouquet never arrived so I called them again the following morning and they said they wouldn't be issuing the replacement bouquet but would give me another $7.

    I asked the manager I was speaking with if she considered the bouquet I received worth the money I paid and she refused to answer me. I had tried Avas because I thought it was a local florist so assumed I would receive decent service but unfortunately from what I experienced, they seem to be a large chain masquerading as a "family owned and operated" business.

    DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THEM... YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! My husband ordered me flowers on Valentine's Day, and since then, I have been dealing with a complaint against Avas Flowers for not delivering the product as guaranteed online, and poor quality arrangement delivered the next day. I have been working with two different people of who thought it was ok to offer a $10 in store credit to an unknown location and then provide a 15% refund ($16.48) for an arrangement that cost $153.47. The flowers delivered were wilted, the vase hardly had water in it, the balloons were deflated and the arrangement did not last past the weekend, even though it was delivered on 2/15/19, the day after Valentine's Day.

    The company is not willing to work with you, even though they have a standard process listed online if you are not satisfied with your product. Not only do they not work with you, but make it very hard to get in contact with them once your purchase is made. I hate that I have to rate them at all, as they really are not worthy of even the 1 star that I gave them. I'm glad you are reading this review, your money is worth better than this, take it somewhere else where you will receive better quality, more professional customer service, and overall a much better experience!

    I ordered a birthday basket of flowers for my sister in La Habra. I ordered $75.00 worth of flowers and specifically asked that there be no balloons, teddy bears, etc. Just flowers and a card. They assured me that it would be delivered the next morning before noon. At noon it still wasn't delivered. It finally arrived at 4:00 and it consisted of 2 yellow daylilies, some alstroemeria, 3 carnations and a bunch of greenery with a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" balloon. For $75.00! This place is a rip although with their automated answering service and courteous salespeople, they make it seem as if you are ordering from a top level florist. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

    Really wish I was able to give zero stars, and angry with myself for not reading reviews before ordering. A family friend died suddenly so I sent a funeral spray through Avas to the funeral home since the services were out-of-town and I was unable to attend. I ordered days ahead of the service (which was 2:00 p.m. on a Friday) and was told by Avas that it was not an issue getting them there on time. Friday night, I received a text around 6:50 p.m. stating that my floral spray had JUST arrived. Both the funeral and the visitation were over at this point, and the family never received my flowers.

    I called Avas and they "tried to call the florist" but were unable to reach them...but Avas would not give me the name of the local florist which they used. I called the funeral home myself on Friday night and was told that there was no way to know at that point if my flowers were there because all the flowers had already been removed from all the service suites/rooms. I contacted Avas again (after being told I WOULD FOR SURE RECEIVE A PHONE CALL ON SATURDAY AFTER THEY CALLED THE FUNERAL HOME) and the only thing they could do was offer me $15 off a future order. I spent well over $100 for flowers which never arrived to their intended recipient. February 2019.

    I ordered a sympathy arrangement to arrive on a Sunday, March 3, 2019, for a funeral service in Gastonia, North Carolina. I ordered it on a Monday to have it delivered on a Sunday. That gave them six days at least to plan the logistics of the delivery. The website tracking page still has a note that says the delivery confirmation is pending. The arrangement was quite expensive. A person answered an email once and subsequent emails were not answered. There is no way of tracking if it was actually delivered or not. This website promises weekend day deliveries which makes it a perfect scam, because most florists do not. I think someone should shut them down. After the fact I did research on them, something I have never had to do while ordering flowers online and have seen that this has happened to others. It is a shame that nobody has shut them down.

    I ordered flowers for a funeral thinking I was connecting with a "Mom & Pop" florist in the same town as the funeral. Not so. Avas is a national rip-off misrepresenting themselves as a local establishment. It cost us lots of money for a tiny, little, nothing bouquet of flowers. Avas ripped us off as well as the local shop they called to fill our order. DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS -- EVER!!!

    I went with Avas Flowers over other companies because they stated "Same Day Delivery." Upon checkout, it still gave me the same day as an option and confirmed my order. I needed the bouquet to be there on Saturday. Not only was it not delivered on Saturday but it won't even get there until Monday. When I called Customer Service I was told "well sometimes we cannot always meet same day delivery." The same day should not have been an option if that is the case. I asked to cancel the order since it was not delivered as promised and was told that was not an option. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they are all too busy to talk to me. Very disappointing. Highly recommend you do not go with this company!

    Premium basket was ordered with three large Hydrangea with six blooms and 3 to 5 green plants in a large basket. Sent on hydrangea in a small basket/nothing like the picture. Hung up on when called in. Very rude nothing like picture. Have pictures to show comparison told that is is "close". They scam you.

    THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! I should have went with my intuition after placing this order... Just did not feel comfortable with how it went. I ordered two of the same flower arrangements for the funeral service for my husband. I specifically stated that they had to be delivered to the church by noon for the service that started at 1:00 P.M. I had to call from the church to inquire where they were. They had the name of the church correct as well as the street address but the wrong city! Fortunately the city they went to was a suburb of where the church was located and they were able to get the flowers to the church by 1:00 P.M. But, they only delivered one arrangement and not 2 which I ordered and paid for.

    When I called the next day they told me I only ordered one arrangement. I told the person that I was looking at my email from them stating two arrangements and the cost. I was told I would have to wait 24 hours for someone to get back to me so they could check who signed for them. I said what difference does that make, the flowers were not there as promised by noon. I finally had to call back myself after 24 hours and no call from Avas. I was told I would get a refund for the arrangement I did not receive but it was not for the amount I paid. When I questioned the amount they said they do not return the service charge or the tax! She said there were 2 separate orders.

    I ordered 2 of the same arrangements and paid for 2 of the same... Why were they separate orders? Supposedly the 2nd arrangement was delivered at 4:00. Why would I have a separate arrangement delivered at 4:00 for a service that was held a 1:00. I asked for her supervisor. She said she was the supervisor. I told her she works for a terrible company and she was doing a very poor job of taking care of their customers. I turned it over to my credit card company to handle. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE COMPANY... NEVER ORDER FROM AVAS!!!

    The absolute worst product and customer service I’ve ever experienced with a florist! Arrangement was nothing like advertised picture, less flowers, different flowers and much cheaper flowers than what I paid for. I called for refund and after 20 mins (they agreed arrangement wasn’t what I ordered) all they would offer was 10% refund. I will never order from them again. Go somewhere else!

    The flowers I ordered and what arrived were nothing remotely close to one another - paid for a beautiful bouquet and what was delivered was a total of about 10 carnations. Despite what their site claims, they make no option of refund, replacement, or really anything at all. Numerous thing posted on their site make them sound like a great company to deal with, I now know that it's all lies. Basically I spent $50 for a bouquet worth very little money. Avoid this company!
