I ordered a delivery for my mom's 80th birthday. The delivery was 1 day late, Ava's incorrectly reported that the plant had been delivered on the afternoon requested. The plant was delivered the next evening but it was half dead. It was just left on the doorstep and when my parents opened the door no one was there. I live in the Philippines and had assumed that Avas Flowers would live up to their claim of quality plants and service. My parents told me of the deadish plant when we spoke via FT and I took a screen shot. I logged a customer service complaint and asked that they NOT contact my parents as they were already very upset and did not want a replacement plant. BUT they received a call from a florist insisting that a new plant would be sent, My dad said they were already upset and did not want any other delivery. The person HUNG UP on my dad, not apologizing or saying good-bye, but curtly ended the call. This further upset my elderly parents.
Once I finally received an email from a customer service representative, I was told to send a picture, but also told that I was too late since it had been over the 24 hours since delivery. I will never use Avas Flowers and I will encourage others not to use Avas Flowers. An experience that should have brought joy to my mother, turned out to be a very upsetting situation.

On Dec 20 I ordered a spa basket for my sister picking Avas as they advertised being in her town and same day delivery. I ordered 59.99 basket for same day delivery. By end of the day they sent me an email saying the warehouse only delivers on Tuesdays and Thursday and the basket would be delivered on the 24. They called my sister and apologized and told her when to expect the delivery. He also promised me a 10 % discount and offered me a better basket but not telling me I would have to pay a higher price. No flowers came on the 24, I called on the 26, and they said they would deliver that day. I got a notice saying it was delivered but my sister said it hadn't come. I called and they said the confirmation was not correct. Then I found out they were in New Jersey not Georgia.
I called again, and the woman said she couldn't promise me the delivery. I told her I would give her to Friday to deliver then I was cancelling. I got an email saying they were refunding the higher amount as they could not complete the order. It has been a week since my sister's surgery. This was the worse situation I have ever experienced and would not recommend using them. The customer service were helpful but had no influence.

I purchased a floral arrangement for my grandfather's funeral. It consisted of 2 dozen roses with a variety of greenery in a basket and resembled a standard funeral arrangement. I paid extra to have a bow and card with it as well. I ordered it 3 days in advanced and on the day of delivery I received a phone call saying they were unable to deliver what I had ordered. I was not happy they were notifying me of this the day of delivery and asked how come. They told me that the basket was unavailable but they could do the same arrangement in a vase instead. I agreed to this.
When I arrived at my papa's viewing I was looking for my arrangement but could not find it. My dad told me it was behind the person standing in line. When I saw it my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach and my jaw dropped. In front of me was a 9 rose arrangement in a small pot, no bigger than the size of a cantaloupe, no bow and one of those standard cards you get for free with a regular purchase. This arrangement resembled a $30-$40 arrangement you can purchase from your local grocery store.
When I called Avas to resolve this horrible situation I was told the "best" they could do was a $40 refund, so basically the cost of the arrangement sent. If I could attach pictures of what I ordered compared to what I received I'm sure many of you would be shocked!!! In addition, Avas would not give the name of the florist who fulfilled the order. I would HIGHLY recommend reconsidering an order through AVAS flowers. Unless they can guarantee that you will receive exactly what is shown...I would not allow yourself to be taken advantage of in this manner. You can get a higher quality arrangement and a much better value through Costco!!!

What a SCAM This company is!!!! I ordered a Christmas Bouquet for 12/24. It's now 12/28 and it still has not been delivered. I spent 20 mins trying to figure out how to get someone on the phone. Finally got through to a call center that barely spoke English....ONLINE they say it's a LOCAL FLORIST... IT IS NOT!!!! Just a simple off shore flower broker. They never even said sorry they weren't delivered...only said, "We can offer you a redelivery next week.|" WHAT A SCAM!!!

They should all be arrested at AVAS Flowers. Got nothing but excuses from this company. They had no problems at all charging my credit card. I cannot believe Google lets scams like this show on their search results. Google is as much to blame as AVAS Flowers.

Ordered Christmas Floral tree with ornaments. Received a tree with 5 ornaments and 2 pine cones and a few bows. No flowers. Received a refund of only 25% after fighting with 4 different people including a supervisor because of the lack of flowers. What a joke this company is, will never order from them again. Crappy product and customer service. Hello, it is Avas Flowers NOT Avas Trees.

I ordered flowers for a certain day for a dinner party. The flowers did not arrive until the next day. I was contacted to know about this and they do not have a phone number listed to contact them. I will not buy from them again.

I am absolutely appalled at the arraignment delivered by this company. I specifically request a LARGE FULL BOUQUET with RED & WHITE ROSES & PINECONES Christmas looking style. I also specifically stated price was not a object on this order. With that said Nothing that was delivered was remotely close to what I paid for. Also the card requested only contained one name and was not addressed to both individuals as requested either. I am beyond speechless at the product these people delivered. They charged me 129.00 for a sparse looking arrangement that was truly embarrassing to say the very least. They delivered 3 red roses, 4 carnations, 2 white daisies stems, 1 lily and some other red leaf which they charged an outrageous amount for. When contacted they made excuse after excuse and offered no resolution. A place to avoid at all costs!!!

What was ordered: “Birthday Indulgence,” in size large. A big beautiful bouquets of roses, lilies, and other lovely flowers for my Mother’s birthday. Total price: $80.94. What arrived: Six roses and a bunch of what looked like ragweed. All of which died within five days. I usually go through ProFlowers.com, but instead I googled florist, in my mother’s town of Longwood FL. Avas popped up, giving every indication of being a local florist. They were not. I called and also sent in a detailed email, with pictures. No response. No refund, no repeat delivery of nice flowers, nothing. I’ve never seen a sorrier excuse for a florist in all my days. I wish I could upload the pictures; they are truly pathetic. $80 for ragweed.

My sister spent $80 on a gift basket for me. She requested fruit, teas and other nice things. I got a bunch of dollar store items in a tin. She called them and was put on hold for 45 minutes and they never got back to her. It was awful. DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM.

I ordered Christmas flowers to be delivered on Dec. 24th. On the 24th I checked the order online and it showed delivery was moved to the 25th. I knew from speaking with customer service that they weren't open on Christmas Day. Now on the 26th I call and spend 40 minutes on the phone, most of it on hold and being transferred around. They said they would give me a DISCOUNT and have the arrangement delivered New Year's Eve. Now why would I send CHRISTMAS flowers on NEW YEAR'S EVE? I just want a full refund and to never have to deal with this company again. After 40 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. Shortly after, I received an email saying they would issue a refund but that it could take 10 days. This company is NOT local. They are not legitimate. I only wish I had read all the other horrible reviews before ever giving them my money.

First off, when you call them, their phone messaging says that they are a local family owned florist. They are not. They are based out of New Jersey and contract with florists all over the country. We placed an order for delivery in Stroudsburg PA with them over the phone because we had a question about the picture. The person on the phone suggested that we place the order with him over the phone because "it will be picked up quicker" than online orders. He assured us that the arrangement would be delivered on the date we requested, the day before Christmas Eve. We had explained to him that they needed to be delivered that day because we didn't know if the recipient would be home the next day. He said that it wouldn't be a problem.
Late in the afternoon of the day they were to be delivered, we called to verify that they would indeed be delivered that day. They informed us that "all of the florists are very busy and we could not find one to complete your order on the day you requested". It was then that we learned that Avas Flowers is not a local family owned business. The person on the phone said that they would have the order completed the next day, Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve morning we get a text saying that it was urgent that we call them. This time they tell us that, not only could the arrangement not be delivered before Christmas, but that it would not be delivered until 2 days after Christmas. And again, they said that they called all of the florists in the Scranton area. Yet, they charged our credit card. We had to cancel the order and are waiting to see if they credit back our money. Never do business with them.

Do not purchase from this company!!!! I ordered flowers on Friday 12/20/2019 for our unexpected death of my Brother-in-law. My sister lives 1000 miles from me. I was unable to travel there due to short staffing at my place of employment. I was assured that I would be given updates regarding shipping and delivery by email and text. The delivery was to be by 1:00 p.m. to the Funeral home. I received no communication from this company. I started the on-line tracking process on Sunday at 7:00 to see the progress. I only received a statement of being an error and sorry for inconvenience. It also stated I would be advised of the information after investigation.
At 12:30, I called customer service and they told me they were delivered at 8:45 a.m. Please bear in mind, these are anxious moments. I wanted to be assured, that the only expression we could provide, was completed as requested. I couldn’t be there to personally know that is was. Two days had passed and not a word from this company to assure all was in good order. I called customer service to request credit on Sunday and Monday. All I got was, “you got the flowers, right?". And not the least bit of resolution. In fact, when I called on Monday, the day after the service, I selected the prompt for delivery issues. The recording stated “this order is set up for re-delivery”. This company is so inept, they can’t even track an order. My entire experience of this display of sympathy was totally ruined. And this company could care less.

Hi, I am living in Paris, France. On Dec 22nd I ordered a centerpiece for my family in Fort Myers, Florida. The expected delivery date is on Dec 23rd (same day delivery is indicated clearly on their website or I made it up myself. Here, I gave one extra day). If it is delivered on Dec 24, it would be still ok. The amount was already immediately withdrawn from my account. Today is Dec 24. My family doesn’t receive anything from Avas Flowers. I tracked my order: it will be delivered on Dec 26!!!! In France, we celebrate Christmas on Dec 24, at midnight. I wonder if in the USA people celebrate Christmas on Dec 26???? Maybe.... I should have read reviews about Avas Flowers before ordering. First, last and only order with Avas Flowers.

I ordered some roses and a box of chocolates online on Saturday 12/21 to be delivered to a restaurant on Sunday 12/22 to celebrate a 1 yr anniversary and also for a surprise marriage proposal. The website allowed me to select the Sunday date where other companies did not allow that option. We arrive at the restaurant on Sunday 12/22... no flowers, no chocolates. I contacted Avas customer service and they said they could not deliver on Sundays! So why offer that option online when ordering? So then I had to reschedule the delivery for Monday at my now fiancee's office. So much for the surprise...it was ruined.
To top it off they then delivered the flowers on Monday but forgot the chocolates!!! I called yet again to ask about the chocolates and they initially offered me a $10 store credit... I ** paid $19.95 for the chocolates! I demanded a full refund of the cost of the chocolates. Apparently it will take 7-10 business days for my refund. This was my first time using this online company and will certainly be my last!

I ordered flowers for a friend while she was on vacation. I received an email stating they could not deliver the flowers on time (they'd be sent four days later). Well, the date they would be delivered was after she was gone. They also said they could not delver the flowers I choose. I called and asked for everything to be canceled and my card refunded. After over 20 minutes on the phone they finally did provide a credit after telling me several times they could not provide a credit.

My boyfriend ordered me a SURPRISE bouquet of Rose's and balloons to be delivered to my job. I received a message on messenger asking was I suppose to receive flowers today and call them. I called and they told me all about the surprise and wanted to confirm address and I did. They were scheduled to deliver at 3 and never came and I received a call they cannot find my job so they will deliver to my home. I gave them my home address and left work and guess what they called saying they were at my job! I told them I was gone and they were to deliver to my home.
After several hours and calls we just wanted to cancel but they said we couldn't. I called customer service again and they informed me they will deliver the next day. Fuming I got a call from the deliver guy he is outside. I go and get the flowers and not only were several of them dead but the balloons were missing. They offered 10 percent refund which the balloons cost more than that and I'm still waiting on a response from the pictures I've sent. This was on 12/20 and I'm still waiting. WE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! What a way to ruin a birthday surprise!

Ordered the delux gourmet snack basket and paid $75 with delivery. The basket that was delivered didn't look anything like what is pictured. It was actually an Easter basket with what looked like convenience store pretzels and dollar store tin of sugar cookies and some chocolates. After sending pics to Avas, they refunded me $10 and an email reply saying the arrangement met their standards. Not impressed at all and would not recommend spending money here.

I ordered same day flowers with a guarantee they would be delivered by 7:00 pm tonight. I just got an email about there being a problem with my delivery and to please call customer service. Made the phone call and was told they couldn’t deliver the flowers today because they are too busy with orders. The customer service agent told me that for $8.00 more dollars they could try and deliver them on Monday but that they would be getting more orders over the weekend so they wouldn’t be sure they would be delivered then. I canceled the order and now have to wait up to 10 days for my refund.

I did receive my flowers and feel pretty lucky after reading all the other reviews. However, the next day they were already dying and by the morning of the second day they looked horrible. They had water. I’ve worked for a florist and this is unacceptable. The flowers should definitely last more than two days!!

I ordered an arrangement shown online that my nephew would have liked. He passed away 7 years ago on December 20th. The reason I choose Avas Flowers was because they tout same day delivery. I received an email later in the day stating the arrangement was not available so they changed it to Rose's and it would be sent out on Dec 24th! Very unhappy right now! Will NEVER order from them again. If you want what you see online, dont count on it and definitely dont rely on their misleading same day delivery!!!!

Ordered Funeral Flowers to be delivered on 12/20 by 4pm. When I went to check on the status the order now read Delivery 12/27 by 4pm. In a panic I called Avas Support at 2:47pm. Spent about 20 minutes on the call most of it on hold. I was told they could NOT get the flowers there by 4 today, but could try and get them to the Funeral Home the next morning prior to Burial.
I was in a panic so I called a florist in the town where the funeral was being held. She said they could rush an arrangement over to the Funeral Home today in time for the Viewing. I then called Avas back to cancel. They put me on hold 15 minutes and then proceeded to tell me my original order had been delivered to the funeral home at 220pm!! Now how could that have happened while I was on a call at 247 with Avas and being told NO flowers today??? This mix up cost me an extra 80 dollars. When I asked for some sort of restitution they offered a twenty dollar coupon. I politely declined!!

I would give 0 stars if I could...DO NOT ORDER from this company. I placed an order over the phone for a $100 floral arrangement to be delivered to the hospital on 12/19/19, was told the delivery would be made by 7 PM and received an e-mail confirming the delivery date/time. Received an e-mail the morning of 12/20/19 stating delivery was scheduled. When I reached out to customer service, I was ensured that delivery would be made in the morning and that my arrangement would be made "bigger" at no additional cost to me due to the delivery error. At 3:30 in the afternoon on 12/20, the delivery still had not been made. The patient is being discharged on 12/20 and the delivery most likely will not be delivered in time.

I wanted to do something special for a friend. Ordered the flowers 3 days in advance to be delivered at 1000 and still no flowers. I called three times and they said, "Oh it's out for delivery," and when I asked what's the driver's number or who is delivering the item they would not say. The lady I spoke to was nice but that still does not explain why it wasn't on time and still has not arrived yet. 30 years in business they say. Well what a joke they are. They have ruined my day and my friend's day. Thanks a lot for nothing.

Ordered flowers for promised delivery on Dec. 15. No flowers were delivered. Checked email receipt (after having to email company to correct email address) and price charged was very close to twice what I ordered. On the phone for 25 minutes today demanding refund. Flowers did not show up and I have doubts that they have completed refund. AVOID!!! Check other reviews on this company - you won't use them!

This is a scam company!! Do not give them your money!! They will steal your money and you will either never receive your order, or they will send you the equivalent of Wal-mart flowers that look nothing like the picture, and there will be items missing!! Just check their Google reviews. I live in Australia and sent my sister who lives in the US some flowers, chocolates, balloon and card for her birthday LAST WEDNESDAY (December 11, 2019). It's now Monday December 16 and she never received anything!! I've received two very suspicious automated emails that had text copied and pasted with grey shading behind it, and not even personally addressed to me. All it says is that they couldn't deliver to the address and needed an alternative address. There is NO reason why they couldn't have delivered.
They also said they tried to contact me...rubbish. I provided both an Australian and American phone number, neither had missed calls. Nonetheless, I provided an alternative address as requested and have sent 4 emails. I've heard nothing back. It's pretty obvious they've stolen my money and have no intention of delivering my order. Shame on you AVAS FLOWERS. Get a real job instead of stealing money from others!! You definitely don't deserve 1 star.

My mom placed an order yesterday December 15, 2019 for same day delivery for a bouquet for my graduation. At 6:00pm she received a message stating her floral arrangement was delivered. We received no such delivery. I called this morning (12/16/2019) at 9:30am and spoke with a representative who told me they contacted and delivery person and he is in route to deliver the the bouquet. It is now 5:05pm and still no delivery showed up.
I called back and was told the same this I was told 9:30am this morning that the flowers are in route. 8hrs later and still no delivery. We asked for a refund and was told they cannot issue a refund due to flowers being on the delivery truck :-|. This is clearly a fraudulent company!!! First we were told it was delivered, then we were told it is in route and 8 hrs later it is still in route!!! We no longer need the flowers as graduation has clearly passed. There is no way to track the delivery even after being told it was being delivered by UPS. Lies after lies after lies after lies!

The website is easy to navigate. I've ordered flowers from Avas many times. The pictures on the website accurately show the flowers that are delivered. I've always been always been very pleased with the arrangements. The deliveries are on time and they were even able to make a last-minute delivery on a Saturday for a hastily scheduled funeral. I strongly recommend this florist to both friends and family.

DON'T DO IT. Don't even think of using this Company for any flower delivery. I ordered a floral arrangement for my brother-in-law's funeral at 11:35 am on December 13 for delivery before 12:00 Noon on December 14. Flowers were never delivered. I called to see why and they told me they could not be delivered in time so they could try to resend to a different address. I also got an email at work on Monday that there were several attempts to get a hold of me. Absolutely not - they had my cell phone and did not call me at all. Are you kidding - you missed the funeral - NO I DON'T WANT THEM DELIVERED TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS. Refund my money immediately. Despicable behavior. DON'T DO IT! Also, I ordered a 37.99 arrangement that ended up being 76.00 after taxes, card fee, and some kind of unheard of service fee.

I ordered online far in advance of the delivery date to assure that they could fulfill the order. On the delivery date they e-mailed, had lost the delivery address, and just realized that they didn't have the model available that they had promoted on their website. When I called back they said that they didn't have the arrangement and couldn't get it there on the planned delivery date, or the next day. Unacceptable. I cancelled and called another local florist, Baylor, and had a lovely customer service experience.

I ordered via phone, a $100 Christmas arrangement for my Mom 12/12, which was to delivered 12/13. Order was confirmed via e-mail on 12/12. I was informed via e-mail on 12/13 that order was not delivered because "the exact blooms selected were unavailable". I contacted Customer Service the evening of 12/13 & tried to cancel the order. They informed me that if I canceled the order, the florist would still charge me for the flowers they had not delivered. Agent then tried to tell me they tried to deliver the flowers, but no was at home. My Mom is a shut in. They had her phone#. No one called her, no one knocked on her door. I asked again to cancel the order & again was refused, unless I wanted to pay cancellation charges. I will never use this company again!! they are just a clearing house for florist. Next time I am order flowers directly from a local florist.

My mother-in-law sent me flowers because I had broken my foot. She was told that the flowers would be delivered the next day. Five days later I received the flowers, however they were left at my front door overnight in the cold and froze. Never ever ever use this company!

I ordered flowers on December 10th, to be delivered the next day. When the person didn't receive the Arrangement by the 11th, I called and they told me they were having trouble contacting them. I then called the second day to be delivered and customer service told me that the Arrangement wasn't in good shape, so they ensured me that, they will deliver them on the 3rd day by noon. I called today and they are telling me I made an arrangement for them to be delivered December 17th. This company should not be in business with all the bad reviews they are receiving and are promising something they can't deliver. I've never had such horrible experience with only delivery of flowers. RETURN

We ordered a very nice and quite expensive floral arrangement to be sent to a family member who was recovering from surgery. She lives in a different state than us and had no idea they were coming so of course she was extremely thankful for the flowers; just assuming we had sent her a regular floral arrangement. She sent us the pictures of what she received and on our end we were extremely disappointed in the delivered product. It looked like a cheap version of what the pictures online showed of the display we ordered. I'm not sure if maybe this time of year since it's cold, flowers and plants are slim pickings?
It didn't even have the primary flowers in the arrangement pictured but very little detail and accent work. Honestly an elementary school kid's hand-picked flower arrangement on Mother's Day would be so much more impressive than what was received. We also requested for a Balloon and card to be sent with the floral arrangement and both were not received. We would't have even known they didn't send the ordered items if our family member didn't send the picture with the thank you to us.
We called Avas Flowers and were basically told SOL on your order; here's $25 credit to use on another order. We definitely will never use this flower delivery service in the future and will also advise against them to anyone we encounter who may be thinking of sending flowers to someone. We have many friends and family members with military ties so we will also be passing the word to them as well. Save your money and order from someone else. If you want to spend good money on a $10 flower arrangement then use Avas.

Very disappointed. My friend had her 60th birthday. I order what looked to be a wonderful over the hill basket costing over $150.00. Not a big deal for a dear friend. Even asked for it to be delivered the day BEFORE her birthday to make sure it would make it on time for the big day. Still 4 days later and it shows up on her porch!! What a scam, so nothing special for my friend on an her important day (can't get that back!!) and she sent me a picture. I don't normally write reviews, but felt others should know. I called Ava's to receive same day delivery to my daughter who is going to college 8 hours from home. It was finals week and she had learned her dog at home had been hit by a car and died. Was sending to try and cheer her up. Wanted quick delivery because she would be heading home in 4 days. I called and was told they could do same day delivery, so proceeded with my order. The gentleman taking my order may have had a language barrier, but can't say for sure, but it took almost 25 minutes to take my order and then he had to redo it, because he didn't tell me that the message I was sending he put on a full greeting card which was 4.99 extra, so he had to start over.
After he was done, I reconfirmed it would be delivered the same day and he reconfirmed by 7pm. It did not get delivered by 7pm! Not only that, but when I finally confirmed it hadn't been delivered, I called back and the VERY nice guy (different than the first), apologized and said that he would check and send me an email shortly with if/when it would be delivered that day.
An hour later, I had not received an email, so I called back again and got yet another person. A girl this time who was very nice as well but after 15ish minutes on the phone she told me it wouldn't be delivered that day either, but the next day by 7pm. My daughter was coming home that night! I canceled my order, but she then put me on hold for a minute or so and then came back on and offered me a 20% discount to continue with my order. Needless to say, I declined. All in all, the service was friendly, but execution of order was awful as well as any lack of follow up to let me know the order would not make it on time. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I ordered flowers on 12/11/19 and was promised they would be delivered the same day before 3:30! My recipient never received the flowers and the customer service agents are ignoring what I am saying and not fixing the issue. Instead constantly keep repeating it says it was delivered at 4:30!! My recipient couldn’t have possibly gotten it if they leave the office at 3:30! I have asked my recipient have they received any flowers and the answer is NO! Now I have to take this to my bank to back a charge out with no service! Please do not order from this company!!

Not only was customer service rude....they never delivered my 200 dollar floral order to my aunts funeral. Disgusting business practice. I would never use this business for anything. I was embarrassed...humiliated and disgusted with the fact that the flowers never arrived to the funeral...that I was taken from my family and grieving time to go outside to call the rude disgusting customer service department to see where the flowers were. I was looking for a local florist to deliver flowers for to my mother and was directed to Avas online. I ordered a $64.99 (deluxe) arrangement with free shipping, but was charged an $18 set up fee on top of the advertised "sale" price. When I received a picture of the "very pretty" flowers from my mother, I was disappointed at how unlike the flowers I thought I had ordered they were. I immediately called Avas, sent a picture of what I ordered and the photo my mother sent me, waited almost 6 days without hearing anything and had to call to follow up. I was told that Avas had a picture of what was delivered, it was in their specs and they were sorry I was disappointed.... What I ordered.

Picked out a specific plant for my uncle in nursing home, checked first to see if it was available as other florist could not fill, paid $63. What was actually delivered was a pot with two poinsettias and some greenery, something that could have been purchased for under $15 in a grocery store. I'm out of state so I obviously had to wait for a visitor to tell me what was delivered, Avas Flowers tell me I waited too long to say anything. They are giving me a $15 store credit to a store I will never use again. Wish I had read the reviews first.

I have ordered flowers from Avas Flowers in the past online and never had a problem with the delivery. This time I ordered flowers for my Mom as she had to put her dog to sleep and they were suppose to be delivered by 1pm or around then would be fine. I kept checking all day then at 6:40pm I get an email saying they were delivered - BUT they were NOT delivered? The amount of time on hold then getting a human was horrible! They got delivered the next day in the am but I had to keep calling and then was told I would get 10% Off and didn't even get that? So online is fine but the "Lack of Customer Service or Accountability" on the phone and the follow through was not good.

I have never had a worst experience of service ever when dealing with online purchasing. They didn't have the flowers we ordered so we cancelled the order and they refused to give us a full refund. We had to pay 15.00 for a cancellation fee when it was their issue. I talked to 4 people none of who had any idea of what was going on so I had keep repeating myself. The amount of wasted time and energy was appalling and through the entire experience they took no responsibility. I will never use their services again as they are totally unreliable.

Ordered flowers for my Grandma who was in the hospital. They arrived on time, however they were NOT the flowers that were in the picture. There was only about three flowers sent and they didn't even get delivered in a vase!! Avas is refusing further contact, they have been putting me on hold and then hanging up on me! One representative even told me "oh yes, that claim number has already been taken care of." Excuse me?? I have yet to receive a refund, heck not even an apology! My friends father was in the hospital in Texas. I live in Michigan. I wished to send him some flowers so I went online to locate a florist that would serve Beaumont Texas. I came across this company and ordered a mid sized arrangement of flowers that came with a discounted price of $55. The website mentioned free delivery. I think I was under grief when I ordered them, because they charged me almost $30 in taxes and delivery fees. With my friend sent me the photo of the flowers, they were nothing like what I had ordered through the telephone representative. I reached out to this company and they got back to me saying that the flowers were fine. They did not owe me anything. But then they offered me a $24 in-house credit. I live in Michigan, and chances are slim to none I would ever need to send flowers to Texas again. I objected to this arrangement and they told me that the flowers were good and that the judgment was not for myself.
I don’t understand a company doesn’t stand behind their name. I am glad that my friends father got to see them before he passed two days later, but even the photos I’d sent did not sway this company to do anything that resulted in good customer service. This is a total rip off. At most the flowers were worth about $20, and I have seen better in my grocery store. The flowers came with the arrangement name of Tuscany, and they look beautiful online. They were probably a third of the size, and nowhere near the same amount of blossoms nor the color or quality that was shown in the photographs. I realize florists sometimes need to make substitutions, but when they do, often they make sure at least it is beautiful. I feel like I have been totally ripped off and I am angry that they will not do anything about it. Do not buy flowers from this place nor anything else they peddle.

My husband ordered me flowers to be delivered to me on Thursday morning and contacted Avas Flowers several times to find out why they still had not delivered. He was told they would be delivered before 2:00pm the same day. They were to be delivered to my work. I get home after 5:30pm call Avas back myself at 6:05 pm and they read me the address which was someplace in a total different state! So we were told they would be delivered the next morning before noon. I had them read the exact correct address.
The next day Friday 1:00pm and still no flowers. We are being told they cannot tell us what local florist is delivering the flowers or what time except it would be sometime before 7:00pm. Unacceptable. So they then say that my husband has to call and request a refund and cancellation. So my husband calls and they then tell him, it's being delivered as we speak. It's now 2 hrs. later and still no flowers! Unbelievable. Highly discourage anyone from using this service! Terrible customer service also!

This company is a fraud, its website is totally misleading, and it should be avoided at all costs! A relative almost 500 miles away was a couple days out of hip replacement surgery and feeling down, so I did a search for Glendive, MT florists via Bing, and Avas Flowers came up second, promising "Send beautiful flowers delivered locally in Glendive...Same day delivery." Having no knowledge of local florists in Glendive, I ordered a small arranged bouquet of white daisies and peach carnations through Avas website and received email confirmation that the bouquet would be delivered on 11/29/19, that same afternoon. Total cost for what amounted to a $25 bouquet ultimately delivered by the local florist -- $52.94.
Later that day I received an email asking me to call an 877 number regarding a problem with my order. In the meantime, I did some research (which I should have done before placing the order -- lesson learned!), and discovered that Avas Flowers is located in New Jersey. I called the number and spoke to Michael and told him I wasn't interested in shipping flowers and that I wanted to cancel if that was the case. Michael assured me they worked with a local florist in Glendive but that because of the long Thanksgiving holiday, the flowers could not be delivered until Tuesday morning, 12/3/19, and to compensate me for the inconvenience, they would upgrade the bouquet to roses.
I was not interested in roses -- my relative would have thought I was nuts, and I told him I wanted the original bouquet as pictured on their website, to which he agreed. I contacted my relative on 12/4/19 to see if the flowers had been delivered, and they had not and provided me with the name of the only "local" florist in Glendive, MT. I called the local florist, and they had never received an order from Avas Flowers. I then called Avas Flowers and told them I wanted the order cancelled, speaking first to "Rose" who kept repeating over and over that she was sorry but could do nothing for me, since the flowers had already been "shipped."
I asked to speak to her supervisor, and "Seth" came on the line and repeated the same thing. I explained to him that shipping flowers to Montana in the winter is ludicrous and that they had assured me they worked with a local florist in Glendive. Seth was adamant that the flowers were well packed and would arrive beautiful, having been shipped on 12/3/19. I told Seth that was unacceptable and I wanted the order cancelled, that I would dispute the credit card charge (which I later did) and hung up.
The flowers were ultimately received after 7:00 p.m. MST on 12/4, having been shipped via UPS from Miami, Florida on 12/2/19 and were almost frozen, having been packed in nothing but a cardboard box and tissue paper. Additionally, the bouquet was nothing like what I had ordered and included the roses I specifically said I did not want. Basically, the shipment was a bouquet "kit": Dead flowers and a cheap glass vase "locally" delivered by UPS from Miami, Florida to Glendive, MT at least 6 days late!

I just ordered from Avas for the first time and my experience was perfect. I ordered 20 premium poinsettias, 10 white and 10 red. They are huge and gorgeous. I placed my order at 11:03 AM and they were delivered about 5:30 PM. I did not set a time. I just wanted them the same day. The delivery driver was courteous and placed the plants where I wanted them. I would use them again. We are very pleased. Also, this was for a business and our lobby and conference rooms are gorgeous. Great experience.

I ordered a beautiful plant arraignment for my Grandmother who had hip surgery on 11/26/19 and the arrangement that was sent was nothing close to what I ordered. When I contacted customer service they asked for a picture of what was sent to her and after I sent it to them they simply just said basically that they could not refund me or send the correct arraignment because the arrangement was within the recipe and guidelines of the bouquet that was called for. I ordered a plant arrangement and they sent an ugly dying flower arrangement. My grandmother passed away this morning and she was not able to get what I ordered for her. I have never ordered from Avas Flowers before and I surely never will.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my hospitalized great-grandmother on Monday, December 2nd- they were to be delivered on Tuesday, December 3rd. I received an email at 1:44 pm on the 3rd saying due to seasonality and availability, the exact blooms were unavailable and they could not do delivery until the 4th. At 2:04 I received a text and a second email that said "Our system indicates that your order has been reported as successfully delivered! This order was delivered yesterday at 2:30 pm." Well that makes no sense because that was before I even placed the order. I checked with family and confirmed that the flowers were not there, and then called Avas Flowers to speak with their customer service to try to figure out what was going on. I was transferred, spoke to a woman for about a minute, and was put on hold for almost 40 minutes until a survey came on that then ended my call.
I responded to the email to express my frustration and ask for help but still have received no reply- instead this morning I received the same email that said the flowers couldn't be delivered on the 3rd. The flowers were finally delivered today (December 4th) and they were not what I paid for. I ordered the Large size of an all-pink bouquet in a pink vase and it looks like someone did a poor job copying a picture of the "As Shown" size and put it in a plain clear vase. I submitted a complaint and feel that my experience warrants a refund but given my previous experience with their customer service I highly doubt I will even hear back from them. Do not order from them- find someone else.

I placed an order with Avas flowers for a funeral on Saturday night for flowers to be delivered by Monday morning. The flowers never made it to the funeral, but I received a text from Avas asking me to give them a call. When I called them on Tuesday they just needed to verify the name of the recipient. I asked them to cancel the order since the funeral was over. Alex was very nice and professional. He apologized and showed sympathy for the loss of our family member. I was given the full refund. I was told it would take up to 7 days for the refund, but it only took 24 hours. I would order from them again.

I ordered flowers yesterday afternoon for delivery that day. I was not told that it was not delivered yesterday until today when I was also told that my recipient would not get exactly what I ordered. In addition to the cost for the vase and flower arrangement there was an additional $18 charge (on a $37 arrangement) for handling and delivery. Spending that amount of money and not getting what I ordered and not getting it delivered on time is unacceptable.
The company offered me a $15 credit to be used only on another flower arrangement. I would not want to repeat this experience, so the credit is useless to me. In an effort to learn where the flowers are and when they would be delivered, and then to lodge a complaint with the company, I navigated the web site without success (circular process) and now have been trying to work with a representative on the phone. He says he cannot give me a delivery time, cannot cancel the order and cannot refund my money.

I normally do not take the time to write reviews on a company unless the service is exceptional or horrible. Unfortunately, with Avas Flowers it was the latter. I ordered flowers for same-day delivery on December 3. I talked to a guy named Juan who assured me that it wasn’t a call center but his flower place was in Hollywood and he would deliver the flowers the same day. The price of the flowers are $59. At the end the total was over $80 and I asked why and it was all these ridiculous charges. I also got a cyber deal for free delivery but there was an $18 service charge. Juan did take $10 off for me.
The flowers were never delivered and I called the service department who sent me to another service department. I then waited on hold and when somebody picked up, Ruth, she told me that it wasn’t same-day delivery. I explain the entire situation and she said they will call me back within a half an hour. I never got a callback. Once again called and waited on hold. This happened three times with me going in circles with people who would not give me to a manager. After the fourth call and two hours later I got a manager. Ivan after realizing that the flowers had just been delivered That morning on the wrong day he said he would have to listen to the sales call. Finally! He heard Juan lie to me about their location in Hollywood and lie to me about same day delivery.
Instead of offering my money back, He apologized and said he was sorry one lied to me especially since he told me the flowers would be there in 2 to 3 hours. He told me he would apply his discount to make up for it. I expressed that the event was over and it doesn’t matter now. Then he said he would give me 40% off and I asked again for my money back. Then he told me he would have to go and pick up the flowers that were already delivered to give me my money back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I said please pick up the flowers and give me my money back. Now, I have to go to my clients explain what happened and apologize and deliver the flowers on my own.

Be careful! Spent $115 for a green plant in a white ceramic planter. The recipient received a cheap mum flower in a cheap basket. I live in Arizona and the gift was sent to North Carolina. Two days later I received a picture of the gift and saw it was totally the wrong thing, and a much cheaper thing than I had ordered. Called them. They said I only had 24 hours to register a complaint so I was too late. Really??? They saw the picture and it was more than obvious that they had ripped me off. They claim to be a local florist but that is a lie. I have no idea where this "half dead mum" came from, but it was not "local" in North Carolina. I truly believe they calculated that I was so far away from the delivery house that I would never know that they sent a cheap, cheap mum. I don't believe they deserve one star, and I believe their company is dishonest and is stealing from the customer. Save your money!!

Please, please, if you're reading this use any other flower delivery service. You're better off throwing your money, time and flowers out a window than using Avas. I ordered flowers for a sick friend in NYC... After two days and 3 calls they left flowers on the reception counter and left and my friend was already discharged hours before. Now that may be the local flower store issue but the next 13 calls (yes, I said 13 calls) to Avas were a nightmare! If you lucky enough to get anyone who understands English, they put you on hold for 15 min and then disconnect you.
They say they put notes, where do they put them who knows because you have to explain the issue over and over. I wanted my money back but only received a credit, which I didn't want to ever talk to them again but I went around again and again getting them my friends home address, put on hold, disconnected or given to a supervisor who didn't understand and told me my flowers were delivered already. Really it was worse than a nightmare about falling from a plane! Wish I could share this across the internet so they never make another penny and close their site.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to a family friend- they did not get delivered on the correct day, even though I got an email stating that they had been delivered. I got credited $15- so I tried to get another delivery a couple weeks later. The $15 did not go through, so I had to call them. The worker, Diana, stated that she had to give me her discount because the credit still didn't go through but the price was much higher than it was when I was doing the order on the computer- I think I may have gotten $5 off, which is ridiculous. And the flowers STILL DID NOT GET DELIVERED ON THE CORRECT DAY!! I'm so done with this company- two strikes and nope!!!

I ordered flowers for my father's funeral via telephone. Customer service assured me that the flowers would be delivered by 10:00AM for the funeral service. The confirmation email said delivery would be before 12:00 noon. I immediately called customer service and they again assured me that the flowers would be on time for the service. They even sent an email ensuring the flowers would be delivered prior to 10:00AM. They did not deliver until 11:30 when the service was almost over. I ordered a flower arrangement from them based upon the picture in their web portal. What was pictured was full of colorful flowers, what was delivered was literally half the size and mostly greens, not flowers. Clearly bait and switch. I contacted them about this and they said if I read their policy it allows them to substitute and make changes as they see fit. Basically, doesn’t matter what you order, they decide what you get. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter in law, I realized I was ordering later than normal but was assured if I paid an additional 16.00 it would absolutely be delivered that day. When it wasn't I called customer service to get a refund for that 16 dollars and was told that was for something else not guaranteed delivery. I specifically repeated back that the 16 dollars was to guarantee delivery that day. "Oh yes" The flowers are supposed to arrive today. I am praying they are worth the 85 dollars I spent on them. I recently ordered flowers for a co-worker's father's funeral. It was done long distance so we relied on the online photo. Big mistake! The only thing the flowers that were delivered had in common with the picture was the color. We expected a similar white vase, not the black plastic bucket. There were no greens and no ribbon. When I called I was put on an extended hold then told the flowers met the recipe. Not sure what that meant but take my warning, Save yourself embarrassment: CALL ANYONE ELSE! NOT AVAS FLOWERS!

I order a medium arrangement basket for a funeral. I received a huge basket. I asked for white ribbon. They put red. I asked for 5 o'clock delivery. I got it at 1 o'clock. 1-star rating is too generous. Avas Flowers is BY FAR the WORST flower delivery service I have ever used! I ordered an arrangement to be sent to my ill grandmother same day and spend over $70. What was delivered was appalling and it was delivered late. None of the flowers I ordered were used in the arrangement and it came in a box with no vase even though I purchased a vase. The color palette was not even correct. When I emailed customer service to complain, they told me that I would have had to make a complaint no later than 24 HOURS POST DELIVERY. Seriously?!?! That is not even a reasonable timeframe. Just don't bother wasting your money here.

I am sharing about a floral arrangement that I purchased for my grandmother. I specifically bought a large for $70 from Avas Flowers. To my incredible surprise when I saw my grandmother's flowers it was what we would purchase for $10 at a local grocery store. It look nothing like the picture. I even bought a $10 arrangement from a grocery store. When I got to my grandmothers and I put it next to the ones from the floral delivery.
I contacted Avas flowers and told them that I was disappointed with the size. They also promised me same-day delivery and they delivered two days later. For the same day delivery, they even lied and said that the flowers were out for delivery. However, I know that the local floral shop that made the arrangement is not even open on Saturday. So they actually lied. Avas Flowers Insulted me by offering me 10% off my next order. Going forward, I would never order from them again. If this was a large, I think the small would probably be two carnations!

I ordered 60th birthday flowers & big Gourmet Basket to be delivered on 21st Nov from Ava's flowers for which I paid $.166.08. They delivered on 20th instead of 21st and the Gourmet Basket had only half the items which was promised to deliver. They messed up the dates and the Gourmet Basket. They made a mistake and they don't want to rectify it even when I had brought it to their attention on 20th. Worst and rude customer service. I would never recommend placing orders with them. I attempted to order through the Avas Flowers website so that I can use my 20% off code. After entering the code, the discount was only for 10%, so I contacted their customer service department. My order subtotaled $48.98, not including their $15.95 service fee and $4 tax. After the rep supposedly got done “taking care” of the 20% discount, my total came out to $63.42. I then asked where is the 20% applied and after being put on hold a few times, I was told that the arrangement I chose was already 20% off.
I disputed that my coupon should apply, to which the manager got on the phone and said they don’t give out 20% coupons. I mentioned that I received the coupon card with my flower arrangement 2 months ago and it states “20% OFF YOUR NEXT ORDER”. The manager didn’t believe me, so I told them to cancel my order. The manager also sounded like the rep I was initially speaking with. Fishy! Also, their service fee as stated on their order page isn’t $15.95, but according to the rep I spoke with, it’s $18.99. I am not happy with how they handled this. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Poor customer service!!!

I am saddened that this company has not shut down! I ordered flowers online three weeks in advance. First I did not receive an invoice, I requested one online, I immediately received an order number and nothing else. I called them on delivery day because my flowers did not arrive by selected day. I was hung up on, lied to and placed on holds and my flowers were not delivered. In all my years of ordering flowers, I am shocked at their lack in customer service and lack of sincerity. My invoice was changed. I made a dispute with my bank and they refunded my money as they investigate this inept company. This company is stealing. Run from this company.

I ordered 6 red roses and 6 white roses for my 92 year-old widowed mother in remembrance of what would have been a 75th wedding anniversary. The delivery was made after 5 p.m. My mom lives in an apartment complex for seniors. She was on the phone when the delivery person buzzed her apartment. She automatically pushed the button to open the door and then panicked not knowing who she allowed into the building. The next day I saw what was delivered and was very disappointed. There were 12 red roses stuck in a vase. The vase was pretty but there was no filler of baby's breath or other foliage. Just the roses and a ribbon. The red and white I requested had significance that was totally lost. I was charged $90 for what I could have gone to Walmart and done for less than $10. I will not use or recommend Avas again.

This is the most horrible flower shop/warehouse ever..It's actually a warehouse that's located in New York/New Jersey that scam people out of their money. They false advertising by saying it's a guarantee same day delivery. Nothing but lies...I ordered flowers on 11/20/10. I haven't not received them. I received an email saying that the color of flowers I ordered are not in stock & that the delivery truck for the flowers are booked up but yet in still they couldn't refund my money..I was told If I canceled my ordered they would take so much percentage out of my order. The flowers I ordered were $39.00. My card was charged $66.00. I ordered flowers for my girlfriend on Wednesday 11/13. No phone calls, no emails that the flowers had been delivered. The website tracking status marked that the flowers are delivered while my girlfriend said she had not received anything. I called the company the next day and asked them what happened. They said that the florist made an attempt to deliver once but not successful but they did not understand why it marked delivered when it was not. They told me that I needed to wait 3 hours for the possible solution from the florist. => I did not receive any calls or emails by the end of the date.
I made another attempt to call on Monday, today, and asked for the refund. First they said the same thing that the delivery was attempted. 5 min later, they said they couldn't get hold of the florist to verify. 10 min after, they said they delivered 3 times and it was last attempted on Friday which was not the day I ordered it for. 1 hour conversation with multiple answers that not matching at all. Do not order and trust anything from this company! The person I talked to saying his name is Cesar and he is the executive of the customer relations. Not acceptable!

The first arrangement I ordered arrived on time and looking great. The second arrangement I ordered was the very same arrangement as the first but larger, so paid more money for it. The second arrangement arrived and was much smaller than the first and was not as vibrant. The flowers were suppose to be bright yellow but looked like little balls of green instead. Contacted the company & they said they could do nothing because I should have contacted them within 24 hrs of their arrival, which was impossible since the funeral was out of state. They said they would give me a $15 credit toward my next purchase but what good does that do me. I'm unlikely to use them again because of the service and the fact that they didn't try to correct their handling of the problem.

So I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on 11/17. It is my friend’s wedding Day, their emailed says that it will be delivered before 7:00 pm so I called and made sure to deliver it before 11:00 am or cancel the order and after staying about 15 min on the phone they said it is guaranteed. What happened is they delivered it on the 16th but that is not the issue. I Called and stayed 37 min on the phone with them trying to tell them that the vase was changed. It looked so cheap and it is not the same bouquet. I wasted too much time with them but they kept repeating themselves saying that it is the same flowers and they will refund me only $4.00 for the vase. Honestly I don’t want their refund but they are fooling people with the way the bouquet looks online and the delivery is totally different.

My mom lives 450 miles away, and we could not attend her 81st birthday party, so we ordered a huge bouquet of flowers and a bunch of balloons to be delivered on the Saturday morning before her party. The delivery never showed up and we never received any call saying there was an issue. When the order had not been delivered by 4:30, we started making calls to Avas Flowers to try to find out what was going on & where the flowers were. We kept getting disconnected by their "customer service" system when we put in the order number or phone number (the only 2 options).
We finally connected with someone when we called their "sales" phone number. We demanded that they connect us directly to an operator in customer service. The CSR put me on hold to investigate... for 15 minutes! When he finally came back he said "we have been trying to get ahold of you to reschedule the delivery for Monday afternoon." My response was, "No you have not! ...And Monday will not work because her birthday party has already happened today!" I then told him that we wanted our over $100 returned immediately!
The CSR's response was, "I can offer you a discount!" To which I replied, "Yes, discount me the total amount of our order in the form of a total refund!" He paused, so I said it again, "Just give me a Full Refund! NOW! ...because you missed the window for my mom's birthday party!" So he put me on hold for another 25 minutes... then the phone system started doing a customer survey, to which they got all negative responses. When the survey was done it hung up on me. As I started to call them back, my wife received a call from them to say that the refund had been processed. We did get an email saying it had been refunded. At the time I am writing this, the money is not in our bank account yet. Here's hoping that the full refund actually goes through.

I would not recommend Avas Flowers. I assisted my future daughter-in-law who was getting married in Cambria California on 10-12-19. I ordered corsages and boutonnieres from Avas Flowers to be delivered around 10:00 am on 10-12-19 to the venue. I did this several weeks in advance of the wedding and also emailed pictures of what she wanted. I live in Bakersfield, California and was not familiar with any florists on the Central Coast.
The morning of the wedding at 9:30 am, I received and email from Avas Flowers that they could not do the order as some of the flowers were out of season but they could get them done by October 14 and would give me a credit. I called them immediately and they said they couldn't do what we ordered but could they make substitutions which I agreed to. They said they could get the flowers to the venue by 2:00. I called back at 11:00 to confirm and then they said they couldn't do the order as they could not get in touch with the designer. I was very upset! I gave the phone to my daughter and my mother and I went to Vons. They were so gracious and filled our order which we picked up at 1:00 for the wedding at 4:00. Avas Flowers is very unprofessional and I would never use them for any event. They did refund my money.

I googled florists in the area. I wanted them delivered and as other reviewers have mentioned their ad comes up first. The webpage is very attractive, well designed, and easy to place the order. The flowers were supposed to be delivered the same day before 5 PM. All was good, I received an email confirming they were delivered at 4:03. I thought life was great! I called my girlfriend and we chatted for a while and she mentioned nothing about the flowers, so I asked and she said she was there all afternoon and there was no delivery. I called AVAS and they said it was delivered and signed for by the recipient !!!
I chase this down for 2 days, and the delivery person calls and says yes, she delivered it around 8 PM and some guy outside the condo signed for them!!! No professionalism, never a call back from AVAS. They are a POS organization, total fraud I am sure. I am letting VISA take care of this, as they refunded my purchase immediately and will investigate. Don't waste your time with this company as all they do is basically co-ordinate your purchase with some local flower shop you have no idea.

Ordered flowers for a co-worker's family funeral. They didn't get delivered at all. I ordered them two days prior to the funeral date and got an email on the day of the funeral stating that a "customer ticket had been generated." When I called to see what the email was about, they told me they couldn't deliver the flowers and needed a new address. I said "you do realize this was for a funeral, right?" Avas Flowers was the worst flower delivery experience ever. The flowers never arrived for a milestone anniversary despite repeated calls to customer service asking when the roses would be delivered. It was getting late and they still had not arrived at the destination. Each time we called, the reps at Avas lied and said they checked with the “driver” and the flowers would be delivered any minute. They assured us they would get there on time. Well, they never arrived. Turns out they never called the “driver” at all. They just made that up. The roses were never delivered.
The next day we decided to contact a flower shop in the delivery town that we suspected was the shop that Avas was subcontracting to deliver the flowers, Buckeye Florist. We were right, it was them. We resubmitted our order again directly through the Buckeye “Florist” who it turns out has no store, only a phone number but no apparently no flowers. The owner of Buckeye Florist said that Avas Flowers subcontracted with them but the roses hadn’t come in yet. What? It was already the next day and they didn’t even HAVE the flowers yet? So we waited all afternoon checking in with Buckeye Florist several times to see if the flowers had “come in yet”. Finally very late in the day the flowers arrived at their destination one day late. If we hadn’t made all the phone calls that we did, I am certain there would have been no delivery at all.

My boyfriend ordered me some flowers for after a very serious surgery and my experience dealing with a gift bought for me from Avas Flowers was more than unsatisfactory. I actually decided to call and check on the delivery status myself after my boyfriend told me where he ordered from. I was home the entire day following my surgery so I knew I'd be here for the delivery but the flowers did not come. The website repeatedly advertises same day delivery and great customer reviews but this was just a lie to trick new customers. The flowers didn't come until the next day close to 5pm and I was assured they'd come by 12pm that day.
I had spoken to a customer service rep named Tony as well as a executive of the company named Seth. They were absolutely no help and all they could say was sorry. Their driver didn't come in so only one person was able to make and deviled bouquets. The flowers arrived with some dead and without flower food. I am beyond disgusted with the customer service. Not to mention I called a day in advance to change the bouquet to a different style and they just gave me the run around. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

On 11/08/19, I ordered flowers via the website. I requested delivery to the funeral home on 11/10/19. I received a confirmation stating the delivery would take place 11/10/19 or 11/11/19, I could work with that, considering the short notice. On 11/10/19 I checked the website to see if the flowers had be delivered, nothing indicated delivery. I called the 800 number and was unable confirm delivery. I was transferred and was prompted by this automated voice to provide my number and someone would call me back. I received a call back and the line disconnected.
I called 11/11/19 and spoke with a customer service rep. It appeared to be an off-shore location. He explained the delivery did not take place because they could not find the flowers needed to complete the arrangement. I never heard of such. I asked why wasn't I notified, he could not explain. I told him the arrangement was for a loved one whose burial was at 10: 00 am est 11/11/19 and it was too late to send flowers. He asked me if I had an address of a family member where they could send to today or tomorrow. Why I would I send a funeral arrangement to the family after the service?.. Are you kidding me. I got a refund. This is the worst I have ever seen. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY, THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU!!!

Company is fraudulent in their advertising first of all so you have to understand that before you order. They advertise that they are a local florist and have local brick and mortar shops. They do not. My flowers are around for my wife’s birthday and were late in arriving and the flowers looked terrible. One side of the flowers look like it had been crushed in the door. The flowers were dead within 72 hours. I have contacted Avas numerous times and given them several chances to fix the issue. I am posting these messages on social media and other outlets. Very disappointing and my wife it was supposed to receive the flowers is disappointed and we will never use this florist again. Buyer beware.

I spent at least 40 minutes putting my order in for flowers to be delivered last Thursday, November 7th. The reviews on their site are very positive. Wish I had seen these reviews???? They failed to deliver the flowers Thursday, after promising they would. I spent another 45 minutes on the phone after their unending prompts. Only to be told they weren’t sure when they’d be delivered on Friday. ☹️ The flowers didn’t arrive until after 4:00 on Friday. My sister sent me a picture..the bouquet was NOTHING like what I paid $75 for. Basically a $8.99 WalMart bouquet in a $1 Dollar store vase, with no bow.
I called and spent another hour on the phone with a rep who said she would delete the delivery charge (which they didn’t), and would send me an email. Of course heard nothing. Called back. Ordered a upgraded deluxe lavender spray $160 flower. Delivered nothing like pic, sloppy handwritten card, 8 small pink rose buds full of nothing but filler. On 11/6/19 at noon, I called the 800 number listed on the website - 877-638-6619 to have flowers delivered same day as advertised for my Aunt's birthday. Since I had not heard from my Aunt, (I know she would have called or text me to thank me for the arrangement), I checked my email at 10:00 a.m. the next day, 11/07/19. Unfortunately, I received an email dated 11/06/19 at 4:07 p.m. stating that they could not deliver my arrangement and would be doing so on 11/07/19 and would be giving me a $ 15.00 refund for inconvenience. When I stated I did not want the flowers any longer, I was put on a brief hold and of course the flowers had already gone out today. No voice messages, no phone calls.
When I asked why someone didn't immediately call me about the issue, the customer service rep Able told me they try to find another florist to make the delivery. I stated I should have been notified and I should have been the one to decide if they called another florist or not; or I could have called around myself! Able did give me a 17% refund of my original $77.79 purchase, but I am extremely disappointed that my Aunt did not get her flowers ON her birthday!!!!! Unfortunately, I would not recommend this florist and will never use them again.

Do not spend your money here. I ordered an arrangement for my daughter for her Birthday and at 3:00 in afternoon the day it was supposed to be delivered and was told they would not get it there today, after paying for expedited delivery. After calling customer service, having to explain the situation to 2 different people, and being on the phone for almost 35-40 minutes, I was told they would do their best to get it delivered on the day I paid for. They did offer me a refund but would have to wait 7-10 days to get it. BS. They didn't have any problem taking my money right away. Well, the flowers get delivered a day late and do not look ANYTHING like what I ordered. Additionally, I ordered a full size greeting card I paid $4 for and got a regular card you can get free at any florist.
So once I saw the picture of what she received, I called and after being on the phone again 2 different people, I had to email them pictures to be told they would not do anything for me because I accepted the flowers being delivered that way when I did ask for a refund. Total crap. I have been in sales for 35 years and would NEVER treat a customer the way I was treated the last two days. Hey guys, guess what, the customer is ALWAYS right. Sales 101. If you don't deliver to the customer's expectation, you do whatever you can to earn their repeat business. I guess this Family Owned Business does not care about repeat business of their customers. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy anything from these people.
Not only did they not give me what I requested, they tried to insult me with a 10% discount and never even refunded me for the card I paid for and did NOT receive. What I ordered vs what I received. Not even close to what I ordered. Maybe a full size bouquet but not the right colors, similar, what no full size card. You pick out a bouquet based on how it looks. To send something that doesn't even look close to what you ordered, and then call it an upgrade, is just not acceptable.

I picked Avas flowers only because Ava is my daughter's name. My best friend had watched my older daughter when I was in the hospital having my baby. I wanted to do something really special to thank her and have flowers sent to her house. I went on avas flowers website and picked the perfect bouquet, the Tuscany one. When I ordered, it said it would be there the same day. I got a phone call late that evening from Avas flowers with them telling me it wouldn't show up that day and I had to break my surprise to my best friend because she was waiting.
They ended up showing up the next day and did not look like the bright Beautiful bouquet showed online. When I contacted avas flowers and sent them pictures as requested they found that it suitable hand any flowers at that were substituted were appropriate per their policy. I was very unhappy and I felt like they looked cheap and didn't which didnt express my gratitude to my friend. I will never ever used avas flowers again even though they gave me a small credit. The will not refund my money nor send another arrangement.

The anniversary of my uncle's passing was coming up and I wanted to order flowers for my aunt to be delivered on the anniversary "day" of his passing as I knew my aunt would be sad & I just wanted to brighten up her day just a little. So this was very important to me and had ordered the flowers a week prior. The day the flowers were to be delivered, Avas Flowers had called me to say that the flowers couldn't be delivered until the next day. I told them this was unacceptable and explained the importance of the flowers being delivered on THIS particular date. The gentleman "laughed" and I was irate!! Let me remind you that their website also says "same day delivery." So I said "why not put me in as a same day delivery?" He said they couldn't, and, without an explanation, told me to "take it or leave it." I also made a written complaint with the actual company and they NEVER responded. I will NEVER order from this company again!!

I wanted to send flowers to a friend in Vermont for her birthday. I Googled florists in the town where my friend lives. Avas Flowers came up first. Their ad gave the appearance that they were a local florist in the town and that the delivery would be handled locally. Because I was in a hurry that day, I quickly placed an order for a bouquet that was to be delivered in two days on her birthday. Later inspection of the fine print indicated that they are based in NJ.
They sent an email which, for some reason, went to my spam folder stating that the flowers that I ordered were not available "due to the seasonality of the product." (If it's not in season, take it off your website or note the months that it is available!) Furthermore, the flowers that were being substituted were not going to be shipped until the day AFTER her birthday.
I am still sitting here fuming as the flowers have yet to be delivered and I wonder about the quality of the product when (if) they finally arrive as they are being shipped by UPS. My friend is too nice to tell me if the flowers are of poor quality. Lesson to be learned: stick with FTD or 1-800-Flowers and avoid this company like the plague!

Do NOT do business with this company! I ordered flowers for a family funeral days in advance of the church services in Bucksport, Maine. I called twice to speak with agents to be sure they knew what time to deliver to the church on the day of the funeral. They would not reveal the name of the local florist nearby in Ellsworth, ME for my additional follow-up but assured me the flowers would be delivered on time. I requested and received an email from them confirming they would deliver 30 minutes or more before the start of the church service.
The flowers NEVER ARRIVED! I was devastated! I was the person responsible for ordering the main spray of flowers on a stand to be placed at the front of the church. When I spoke with them following the funeral they offered NO REASONABLE explanation for not delivering the flowers. Said something along the lines of they were unable to secure arrangements with a local florist. They did not show appropriate empathy given the situation and it was hard to understand the supervisor on the phone given his strong accent. I believe now that I was dealing with an off-shore company. Very misleading as they came up at the top of the list on a Google search for flowers in Ellsworth as the "#1 Florist in Ellsworth."
As resolution, they offered to deliver an arrangement to a family member at 15% off my original order. Really??? Days after the funeral they would keep my $139.61 for a large funeral spray and send an arrangement days after the funeral at a 15% discount! They should have provided a full refund AND offered to send a large arrangement or fruit basket to the family - at a minimum! In my personal opinion, financial compensation of $200 or more, above a full refund, that could be applied towards the family's expenses would have been a more appropriate gesture of apology considering the emotional impact caused by their failure. Warning!!! Do not do business with this company. I have alerted Google Ads and will be writing to the local newspapers and Chamber of Commerce. Please suggest any recourse I may have and others I can contact to report them.

After you order your flowers for same day delivery and pay special handling charges they charge your credit card but don't deliver. Once you get an invoice it THEN states "delivery is not guaranteed". What did I pay for? Avoid this company at all cost. Support your local florist instead!

I try to support local florists whenever I can but sometimes smaller towns don't have local florists. I found Avas Flowers online, spoke to a man who was obviously in a call center/noisy environment and that should have tipped me off. I ended up on a 17 min call. We discussed the price range I wanted, the type of arrangement & message, and address etc. Then the total was $30 higher than what we discussed. He said there was no delivery fee that it was all taxes. I said NO. He offered me his employee discount of another $4. I said NO and told him, it was a rip off. Now I look at reviews for them, I'm not alone. I'm glad I hung up because I'm convinced the flowers would certainly NOT have arrived today if at all! DO NOT USE THEM! Don't believe the home page banner of satisfied customers.

I was in a hurry to buy flowers for family member. Based on the google service ad, they appeared to be local. They aren't! They advertised that day 45% off and free delivery. After giving them all your info on the very last screen the charge $18.95 for service and handling. That is very misleading. I tried to cancel online immediately and the online system wouldn't cancel within 10 minutes of ordering, so I called customer service. There are way too many buttons to press, too many messages to listen to before you can get someone on the line. Once I finally got someone on the line, they refused to refund 100% and would only refund $41 of the $59 charge. So even if you cancel immediately, they get roughly $20 for "providing the service."

I ordered two flower baskets to be delivered to a funeral service on October 18, 2019 and was told they would be delivered between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. At 3:30, they still had not been delivered. I called to ask why they were not delivered and was told they were still working on the order. I had a complete OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE. They asked for the home address and said they would deliver to the house. I said ABSOLUTELY NOT. I want a complete refund! I was told it had been submitted and to allow 7 to 10 business days. This florist was the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service was absolutely the worst and made it a terrible experience trying to order simple flowers. Avas florists & I agreed on $70 arrangement. Unaware it was a corp.phone#. A vendor in recipients zip code was used by Avas. Avas lied to the vendor, lied to me. Sent the lowest $ bouquet. SCAM! SCAM!

The flowers were less than grocery store quality. After sending them a picture they said they were within the guidelines. These were for my anniversary. Never again will I use the company. Try Kroger or your local store instead.

I ordered flowers from https://www.avasflowers.net/ on Friday, October 25, 2019 for a delivery date of October 26, 2019 for a visitation/funeral. The visitation was October 27, 2019 and I noticed there were no flowers. At the funeral on October 28, 2019 there were still no flowers. When I returned to work on Tuesday the 29th (today), I see that there is tracking from UPS saying that the delivery will be there by 4:30 p.m. today. After the event is of no use. I called to see if the order could instead be re-routed to a home address. They said they couldn't since the item was already on the truck but they would offer me 20% off of my next purchase. I said "no, I'd like to get a refund."
He told me that he could not do that since the flowers were already in route for delivery. I told him that the funeral home was closed and would not be able to accept the order so I demand a refund. He then offered me a $20 refund on a $110.00 order. I did not accept then he offered me half of a refund. I told him I expected a full refund. He put me on hold for a while to speak with a supervisor. Once he came back on the phone I was offered no refund and 10% off my next order. I hung up on him and received a call back about 45 minutes later stating that they could offer me a full refund but not the $15.50 service charge. I asked why I am being charged a service charge when I'm clearly not receiving any service. I have all confirmations of when the order was placed and set to be delivered and have the tracking showing today delivery. Soooo, now I will be disputing all charges once my credit card statement arrives.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FLOWERS AGAIN FROM ANY FLORIST! This is the second time they have not followed through in the death of a loved one! They simply don't care as long as they make their money. Better off sending a card and a check to the families favorite charity.

Ordered flowers for out of state funeral, they sent a completely different arrangement then I ordered and sent a card with misspelling of simple words example from was spelled form never used the word family after deceased name added to many names. When I called the company they kept me on hold for long periods of time. Wanted to send out new flowers, problem it was a one day funeral. Asked for 50% refund. They refused. Anna the manager didn’t even apologize and was quite rude. I actually waited on hold 25 minutes before she answered. They refunded me 13 dollars of the 166 dollars the arrangement cost me! This company should not be in the service business, I would never do business ever again. Terrible bait and switch operation. Not wanting to satisfy a disgruntled customer. I’m thinking of going to small claims court.

They came up when I googled Smyrna GA but evidently they are not really located there. I ordered a bouquet sent to a relative. The sale price was touted as $59.99 and free delivery. There was a $17.95 service fee they tacked on that I did not see till I got the notification from my credit card. This is almost fraudulent. I will never use them again and I advise others not to either unless they want to pay more than expected. Since I did not see the bouquet, I can only hope the flowers looked okay.

I found out that my very best friend's young brother passed away yesterday and wanted to send flowers to my friend. I looked for a florist in Upland and chose Avas thinking I can call them and ask and pay for an exquisite bouquet. I chose the Luxury grade artists design basket. I even attempted to call them to upgrade and the call center was in Jersey. I have known that this is NOT a local florist. I was on the phone w/ the customer service rep for 1 hr just to make sure I get a respectful basket and was told they would send me a pic before going out. I just received a picture from my friend and I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO EMBARRASSED! They sent a 25 dollar grocery store grade autumn basket. THIEVES!!!

I bought over the phone a LARGE DELUXE AUTUMN FLORAL BOUQUET (paid over $120) to take to one high end event and I was planning to hand it to the Hostess. I am sorry I cannot upload the picture here so words would be totally unnecessary. For a Deluxe bouquet they could have used waxed floral tissue or fabric floral wraps or even non woven floral tissue the least. But they just used one sheet of regular GREEN tissue paper! There are other costly design papers used for wrapping but not even going there.
Furthermore the lady on the phone told me that the Deluxe had more roses and more liliums instead of filler flowers and greens. It had 3 roses and three liliums, one of them ended on the floor of the Mansion as soon as I walked in. This was a once in my lifetime event where I received an award from a State Governor and his First Lady. I also asked for a white card-but instead I received a small card with my name and the hotel address (where I was staying) stuck in a plastic stick. It looked like a $5 supermarket bouquet for such an event.

I ordered a get well arrangement early on Friday morning to be delivered the same day by 7 PM. It was not delivered. There was no communication. Do not use this florist as their communication is horrible- however they did issue a refund after trying to get me to take 10% off as their apology for not getting the job done.

As a military member, I tried to set up an automatic monthly delivery of flowers to my wife while deployed. I paid upfront for 6 months of flowers and a card to be sent on my behalf. My wife received 2 of 6 deliveries even after I made repetitive phone calls and sent numerous emails to try to figure out what was going on. Every time I called they would blame the previous representative I talked to for some clerical error and promised the flowers would be delivered by a date that would come and go without a delivery. Since September they refuse to respond to my correspondence and have yet to refund me for the 4 months of failed deliveries. Never will I use this company again and if I were reading this as a potential customer I’d avoid giving any business to this company. They have no loyalty to customers and don’t deserve your business.

I too thought I was ordering from a local florist. I ordered flowers on Wednesday to be delivered Thursday. Today is Friday and still no flowers. I also received a message that the flowers for my arrangement were unavailable and they would substitute. If I had wanted flowers delivered in a box I would have ordered same. I’m furious!

TL;DR support local florist not these guys. Ava's Flowers claims to be local and 5-star rated. I should have read reviews first, but I was in a pinch. They are essentially a flower broker. They outsource to local shops and take a cut. PLEASE do your research and order from the local florist themselves and put these people out of business, I wish I had.
When I ordered I was under the impression they were local so I spoke casually and didn't bother to give city or state at first. I attempted multiple time to explain to them the type of arrangement I wanted and if it was possible in my price range. The guy on the phone just kind of ignored my requests to have red, white, and blue as well as if possible Casablanca lilies. Had he simply acknowledged that it may not be possible I would have changed my request.
My order came out to almost double what I told him my budget was and after the order processed I got a confirmation text. He has misheard my email, so I attempted to change it online to no avail. About an hour after I placed my order they called to say they didn't have blue flowers and could make it with red, yellow, and orange (clearly the same as red white and blue). Still thinking I was dealing with a local shop, I said that was fine.
A little later I called to change my email and ask for a status and was put on a long hold (obviously because he was calling the actual florist). They had attempted to delivery but he had misheard and not confirmed the recipient's number, so I asked if I could have the number of the florist to change it ASAP. He said it was against their policy, and told him to call them immediately to change it.
The flowers were eventually delivered, and were beautiful (although not at all what I asked for). She opened the card and the "from" was misspelled because he had again, misheard and not confirmed. All in all, it was a needlessly stressful experience brought on by this company. I was very fortunate to have a WONDERFUL local florist that treated my order well once they received it. I will be using that florist again and cutting out the middle man.

I recently ordered flowers from Avas Flowers and let them know exactly what I wanted. The rep even asked if I had a picture and I said no but if you look online you will see. She did and even said they would try to find a wooden vase as was in the picture. When flowers arrived they were nothing like I had asked for. The only thing similar was that they had sunflowers. While I understand they might not be able to exactly replicate I would think the vibe would be similar. Very disappointed as I could have ordered from FTD and paid about the same. The flowers delivered cost $77 and looked like I could have gotten them from the grocery store for a lot less. I did try contacting customer service but they were not helpful. Said it fell within their substitution policy even though I sent them pictures of what I wanted vs what they sent.

Ordered flowers at 9 AM for delivery after 4 PM same day. I received an email at 4:28 PM saying the flowers were delivered to my ill father out of state. Talked with my father the next day, and the flowers were never received. He said he was home all evening, and received a phone call that they could not deliver till next day. He told delivery person he would be in the hospital all next day and would not be available. I talked with home office and told them about the email with delivery confirmation. I told him I wanted to cancel the order, But they told me they would Only give me a partial refund. I’m contacting Chase Banking to protest and do not recommend doing business with this company.

Ava Flowers is a ripoff. Needed delivery by 3PM. Didnt get there until after. No refund issued. Whole experience was horrible. Happy Anniversary, NOPE!! Bunch of idiots on customer service after you finally do get to someone. Wasted my time and money. Now I have to file a credit card dispute. Don't use them!!!! Grow your own flowers they will arrive faster!!! Company sucks!!!

After ordering, my friends family received a completely different plant that I had ordered for a friend's funeral. Paid $75 and received a peace lily you can buy anywhere for $25. Very dissapointed. I reached out to them several times, after sending pics etc. nothing.. I would give them a 0 if I could. Totally lost faith in florist. If you go to their website you see great reviews, because from my understandning they monitor it, and only put the good ones.

I ordered floral bouquet for a funeral to be delivered. They completely botched the card to the point that it was not clear who they were from, and they did not put WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY as I requested, misspelled the family name and did not write what I asked, after I reviewed it with them several times! Floral bouquet was cheap flowers and gaudy looking and they would only offer $20 off my next order, AS IF I'D EVER ORDER AGAIN - REALLY?? A $109 BOUQUET ended up being $149 and the picture of it made me furious. Don't order from this company - I should have hung up when I heard several conversations going on on the other end of the line. Not anyone you EVER want to order from.

DO NOT use AVAs Florist. I ordered an expensive Peace Lily plant for a funeral service and asked for it to be delivered by 10 am as it was a short service at the funeral home. I rec'd an email back stating it would be delivered by noon so I called Avas and personally spoke to a rep who told me she could guarantee a before 10:00 delivery to the funeral home. I rec'd an automated email stating it was delivered at 4:06 pm after the service was over and the family had returned home. I confirmed with the family that the Peace Lily was not at the service. It takes forever to even get through to customer service and spoke to an idiot named Max who told me it was delivered in the morning and that the email I rec'd stating that it was delivered at 4:06 was the time the driver actually got to update the status and wasn't the delivery time even though their email said "ACTUAL TIME OF DELIVERY."
The funeral director was wonderful and confirmed with me that there was no Peace Lily delivered the day of the service which was 10/19 either in the morning or at 4:06. HOWEVER< he did call me on Monday morning (10/21) and said that there was a small glass vase with 5 fresh cut flowers outside the door of his funeral home that had a simple card that said Kathy, Rick & Dan - even though the card I wrote online said much more than that and had the correct names. This place is nothing but pure crap and a rip off. I BEG you do not be a victim of theirs.

When I realized the company added a $17.95 service fee after the order was processed, I called immediately to cancel. I was told I could cancel but the $17.95 fee would still remain. This company is beyond deceptive. I cannot even imagine why they are still allowed to process anything with all the negative reviews. Total rip off. Stay far far away from this one....

I ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral and was assured that it would be delivered prior to the 945AM services. I ordered this on behalf of my family for our friends funeral. Imagine my disappointment when we arrived at the services and did not see the wreath I ordered, I was very embarrassed. I called Avas flowers customer service to find out what happened and they said the vendor delivered them at 12pm. After arguing with the rep they refunded me all but $50 which is what they say the material cost. I will never use Avas Flowers again. I believe they are in a business that requires a high degree of customer service and they definitely dropped the ball with this customer.

I got duped thinking I was dealing with a local florist. My fault - If I would have read these reviews first I would never had these issues. Today all of their phones are screwed up!!!

I ordered these flowers ten days before my requested delivery date. The flower were not delivered on the date promised and I was not notified until that day that the flowers would not be delivered until three days later, after the birthday. Also the arrangement shown was not the arrangement delivered. A lame excuse was made that the particular flowers, pink roses among them, were not available; again I was notified of this on the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered. The name of the bouquet that I ordered was called "Pink & Ivory," and a great many roses were pictured. There were no roses in the arrangement delivered and only three or four cheap pink flowers and a bunch of white daisy type flowers. This was a very upsetting experience. Not only was the surprise spoiled that this was supposed to be, but the flowers were not as represented. I would never use Avas Flowers again and would advise anyone to avoid this company.

I ordered flowers for my sister's father-in-law that passed away. When I told the guy I wanted a white bird, he said they couldn’t do it. I told him I was going to keep looking. He said hold on. Came back and told me they could do it. That was so I wouldn’t go somewhere else. My order was delivered with no white bird and nothing like the arrangement I chose. Claimed my response took too long and there was nothing they could do. Also that they found my email in a spam folder. This company is horrible! Do not do business with them! I ordered (2) flower arrangements for my uncles funeral. Both arrangements arrived wilted with incorrect cards on them. Few days before delivery, I called their customer service on three different times to make sure they have the correct names on both cards. The flowers were not what I wanted and they were wilted and did not look fresh, and I was totally embarrassed in front of my entire family. I will never ever order from them and again and will encourage others not to use them. Scam company ripping people off.

I ordered SAME Day Flowers to be delivered to my 5 year old niece who just had surgery. On that SAME day, they notified me that they didn't have the flowers I ordered but would send pink roses. Still no flowers...2 days later they call me as the address was wrong. Gave them the correct address. They stated they are currently being delivered. 2 days later...still no flowers. I email to get a refund. They call me back to say they can deliver the flowers now. Yeah, really? No, I will take a refund. Make that a partial refund. So, they made out with $20. Great company, order from them if you don't want your order delivered and want to donate $$.

I was very disappointed with Avas Flowers. I selected a bouquet that had "Free Delivery". I entered all the info to complete the order. AFTER I entered my credit card info, the price changed. A "Service & Handling Fee" of $15.95 was added to my order. I cancelled the transaction and ordered from another florist who had a Delivery Feel of $11.95 with no hidden charges.

Do not do business with Avas Flowers. We ordered three arrangements and not one was correct. They advertise that they are a family business, but they only take the order and send it out to another florist to complete. What we received looked nothing like what was pictured. The Lavender spray had very few lavender flowers - mostly white and did not have the additional darker purple flowers we requested. Ordered a Heart-shaped wreath, received a round wreath with no banner. Again few lavender flowers. The 3rd arrangement was a vase of lavender and purple flowers - what was received was a pink bouquet. None of the arrangements had the cards attached. Did not need this on the day we buried my son.

The flowers online looked so pretty I ordered and paid for two of the same arrangements. The one I received was nice but I spent the next hour trying to track the second one. At first I was told it was going to be delivered then I was told it was a mistake I had to understand. I paid for two and requested a refund for the undelivered arrangement. The customer service rep was very rude. I will never order from Avas again and encourage no one to. They turned a happy day into a nightmare. Beware.

I ordered what was supposed to be a beautiful vase of all white flowers for a funeral at a cost of $100.92. What was delivered was a case full of greenery with 6 flowers, half of which were dying. When I called customer service and sent pictures, I was told the "recipe" was correctly executed with 2 roses, 2 carnations, and 2 Lillies... for over $100! After 3 days of phone calls I was offered $10.

I ordered flowers for a funeral. At the funeral, I found the flowers but the name on the card was not my name. I called customer service to explain the error and request they send a correct order to the home since the funeral was over. They explained that the flower order was correct. It was just the card that was wrong so there was nothing they could do since my flower order was delivered. No matter how much I explained they made a mistake, they did not want to correct it. They said that since it was just the card that was wrong, they would refund me the $4.00 for the card. They also offered me a $15 credit for a future order. I refused the $15 credit as I will NEVER order them them again. They also offered to call the grieving daughter to tell her the flowers were from me. I refused this as I found the offer extremely tacky.
After over 1 hour on the phone (and many times on hold), I gave up as I was not getting anywhere with them. They do not care about their customers or making things right. I did write a review on their website that I doubt will show up on their website. Never order from this company. You will be extremely dissatisfied! I did not want to pick a star rating but that was not an option. Unfortunately I had to pick 1 star.

Do not use this company. I think they are a scam. I ordered flowers for a funeral to be delivered before noon. I get an email at 12:14pm after they should of been delivered saying something was lost in spam and they needed me to contact them. I contact them and they said they didn't have the flowers. The company I work for also used them for flowers for the same funeral and received the same message. Customer Service could not give me the number to anyone at a corporate office or anyone else. They said they were the only ones who would be able to help or take a complaint. If anyone decides to use this company be very careful and make sure your flowers get delivered. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worse enemy.

My brother passed away a few weeks ago and we had his memorial service last weekend. We had several flower arrangements. We receive an arrangement and my first and last name were misspelled and no name of the person who sent the flowers. I called the local florist who made the arrangement, they told me there was no sender name on the order and the misspellings were what they received. They gave me the number for Avas.
The first customer service representative could not figure out who the sender was and hung up on me. The second customer service representative I contacted I asked to talk to a manager but she insisted on helping me and still can't figure out who sent the flowers. I asked to talk to the manager so now I have a manager on the phone 25 minutes later she can't figure out who sent the flowers. I called back the local florist and 2 days later she figured out that my cousin sent the flowers. If I could give them 0 stars that would be overrated.

I ordered flowers for my moms birthday on 10/1 to be delivered by 10/2, her birthday is on 10/3. The order did not get delivered 10/2 because they didn’t have the arrangement. Rather than call, I received an email that went to my junk mail. I called them on 10/3 at 8 am and stated that it had to be delivered that day by noon, otherwise my mom was going to be gone. I was told that they could definitely do that but it’s an extra $7, fine I pay the money.
It was not delivered on time and my mom did not get the flowers on her birthday. I spent over 90 minutes on the phone with customer service trying to reconcile the fact that I paid for a service that was not delivered in a timely fashion. Nothing. I ended up paying $80 for flowers that were not delivered on time but they think that’s okay because she got them the following day. This company gives no control to their customer service reps and blames everything on their contract delivery service, which will get you nowhere. Stay away. Horrible customer service.

On 9/23/2019 our office contacted AVAS flowers at approx 12:00 pm to have a same day order. We were placed on hold and told by that rep that the flowers were available for delivery the same day before 4pm to arrive to an event. I requested the flowers be delivered on the same day before 4 which they agreed to do saying that it would be there and the arrangement would be beautiful and that they checked and the flowers were available.
Two days later we did not receive a thank you from the business and then researched only to find an email for 4:31 pm on 9/23/19 stating that they could not fulfill the order until the next day. They advised that they are offering $15 in store credit points for the inconvenience. I called today to discuss the matter - spoke to rep Jocelyn who offered $10.00 and then supervisor Ceaser who offered $15. I also requested a person beyond a floor supervisor and the rep named Ceasar refused stating that he is the end of the chain to speak with.
Desired Resolution/Outcome. Desired Resolution: Refund. Desired Outcome: Full refund needs to be issued. Rep Jocelyn hung up on me and Supervisor Ceasar refused to go beyond a 15% credit. Either full refund is to be issued due to the fact that the vendor over promised and under delivered on the agreement. The vendors email was not seen until after the fact and the vendors email did not go out until after the promised delivery time of 4pm (email sent 4:31pm) additionally - florists are closed by this time and unable to receive and fulfill same day orders for same day delivery. Even if the email was seen at 4:32 pm we would not have had enough time to set up a delivery with another florist due to the times that floral shops close and being that the event also started at 5pm for which the flowers were needed for, not the next day.

I ordered birthday flowers to be delivered to my mother 1 week in advance of her birthday. This is my first experience using Avas Flowers. I immediately received a confirmation email and my Visa was charged for the full order. 4 days after my mother's birthday, I was informed by my sister that no flowers were delivered. I called the Avas' helpline and and spent several minutes navigating through their auto attendant until I finally got a human voice. I was put on hold for a few minutes, then she came back and said "they have no yellow flower so they could not fill order. You want order now?". I was not contacted by phone or email with any suggested substitute. They just parked my order. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Avas Flowers sucks!

I would not recommend this company at all. I ordered flowers today around 2 p.m. I asked the representative, "Was it too late to get flowers delivered today? She said, "No they could be delivered today." I asked her, "Are you sure because I do not want them if they cannot be delivered today." I was unsure if my sister will be home on tomorrow to receive them. I wanted to send some flowers to brighten her day. Today was a very significant day for her. The representative assured that they could be delivered today. She placed me hold and contacted the designer. She came back to the phone and said they will be delivered today. So I paid the $68. She said that I would receive the confirmation email after the call but she could give me my confirmation number over the phone.
After the call, I opened the email and it stated FLEX delivery. Deliver today or tomorrow by 5pm. In small print it read there is no guarantee that it could be delivered today. I called back to tell them that the invoice was incorrect, that I specifically said today 10/7/19. The lady said, "No worries. All invoices say that but it will be delivered today." I said, "No I want my invoice to reflect exactly what I ordered and requested which was delivery on today not flex delivery." She sent me over to customer service. Then they said there is no guarantee that they will be delivered today. That's why it is printed as flex delivery, but, that she will call the designer.
She came back to the phone and said that they cannot be delivered today because the order was placed after cutoff time but they could deliver them on tomorrow. I said no, I would like a refund because I asked several times for them to be delivered today and was told several times they would be. I asked first representative, "Was it too late," and she said no, not at all. Then customer service went on to say, "I'm not sure that we could give you a refund because it states flex delivery on your invoice which means they could be delivered today or tomorrow."
At that point smoke was coming out of my ears. Very calm, I said, "Ma'am that was the initial reason for this call because the invoice does not reflect my conversation with the representative." I said I recorded the call. I specifically said I did not want to place order if they cannot be delivered today. She placed me on hold and then came back about five minutes later two say they will be issuing a refund that will take 10 days to process. I don't believe I would have gotten a refund had I not said I recorded the call, which I actually didn't!! Lord forgive me, BUT I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. LIKE MANY OTHER SAID I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. LIFE LESSON!!!

I wanted to send my daughter a bouquet to her new place of employment. I chose Avas Flowers because the map showed their location close to her job. The deceiving ad looked like they offered a large discount and free delivery. I tried to order online but it was showing delivery charge. So I called them. I waited a very long time for service and it sounded like someone from another country. He said that for the price I wanted I would have to order the small size. I did not want what would be a mere handful of flowers. He then put the order in for medium size with a simple floral card, for about $65. I then looked online for my order. It was changed for small, including a bow and full size card which I did not order.
So again I waited on the phone. Finally the woman said she'd have to review my entire taped conversation. After a very long wait, she unhappily changed to a medium bouquet, no bow and the simple card. I requested that the flowers be delivered early in the day. The online confirmation said by 7 pm. Again I had to call them to tell them she wouldn't be there after 5. They checked with the designer and said she would have it but could not give me a time.
Well they were delivered about 3 PM and my daughter sent me a picture. I was so disappointed. They were the same colors as the sample I selected but there were only about 8 stems. I was embarrassed and spent way too much money. I called to complain. I filed an email complaint and received several emails back saying they would speak to the designer and also get back to me within 5 business days to rectify the situation. That was about 3 weeks ago and I have not heard anything. Nor do I expect to at this point. I should have made my own gorgeous arrangement and had it sent via Uber for a lot less money and aggressively re aggravation.

My family wanted to send flowers to the memorial service for my uncle in a small Montana town. I was assured that this company could get the flowers there for the service to represent our family. I ordered them 10 days prior to the memorial service. The salesperson on the phone assured me that they use local florists and could get the flowers there. The day of the service I received an email telling me they could not get the flowers there. The excuse they gave was there was an issue with the flower design. I called ** on their excuse. I had to tell me Mom that our family did not have flowers at her brother’s memorial service and got my money refunded. Beyond unacceptable.

I ordered a planter with some flowers in it. It was supposed to have a ribbon around it and a banner. I was charged extra for both and it did not have either. I ordered a medium size and it could not have been any smaller so it must have been the small size. Finally some of the flowers in the arrangement were already wilting and dying and they had never even opened. I have called now 2 times and still have not received any money off the price. This was a complete rip off so beware.

My aunt's 70th birthday is tomorrow, October 5th. I ordered a large arrangement of daisies to be delivered today so she could start enjoying them before her birthday. I placed the order a week ago. This afternoon at 3pm, I was left a vm stating they don't have daisies! When I called back, they said they could replace with other flowers. I told them that wouldn't work and I wanted a refund. They told me they couldn't do refunds the day of delivery. I advised I would have cancelled sooner would someone have called me yesterday, the day before or the day before that to let me know they would not have daisies to fill the order. I could have made other arrangements if someone would have called me anytime within the last week.
They insisted they couldn't refund me and offered me 10% off...for an arrangement I did not order. I assured them I was not paying for a product I did not order. After 45 minutes and speaking to 3 different people, I received a refund but my aunt won't have daisies for her 70th birthday. This is poor planning and poor customer service on their part.

I Placed an order, gave credit card info, etc., after correcting the person who got everything wrong when taking the order repeating (both recipient's name, and my name, wrong message on card) everything was wrong!! (It seemed like a joke, he kept telling me about what a bad day he was having!!) After being assured everything was correct, I call the next day because I never got the e-mail confirmation that was promised and they have NO record of any order. Said, "Please hold" and they'd check (left me oh HOLD for 20 MINUTES, I had to call on another phone to get their attention that I was still on hold!!! The guy Manni ** promised he'd look into it further and would get back to me within three hours. What a surprise, I never heard from him. I had to call my credit card company to note possible fraud. My mistake, I should have just hung up the phone when the person got all my info wrong.

I do not typically write customer reviews however I feel it necessary in this case. I ordered flowers from this company for my girlfriend. Come to find out from her a few days later that the arrangement they sent was completely wrong and poorly made. I called the customer service department expecting to receive a refund for they failed to deliver the flowers I ordered. Instead they proceeded to tell me that beyond a 24 hour window no refund could be issued. They then attempted to offer a discount on my next order trying to sell me rather than address the issue. Avas Flowers is simply unprofessional they failed to satisfy me as a customer every step of the way. Do not buy flowers from these people.

Unbelievable the way this company works. Pictures shown on the website is not what gets delivered. Customer service is a slow incompetent system. They say "call customer service." When you call they tell you "do it online." When you try online on any option you choose, you will get this message "we are unable to complete your request at this time, blah blah blah".
Flower arrangement was not delivered on time at my wife's work. It took forever but finally contacted support and they said it will be deliver at my home address. Arrangement was still delivered late at my wife's work, not my home address and it was way smaller than what I ordered online. I paid for a pink vase and got a clear. Bought chocolates with the flowers and there was no chocolates delivered. Unfortunately I had to leave a 1 star rating because it won't allow me to leave no stars.

Please advise customers that this is not a locally owned business. I ordered balloons at 1:00 Chicago time for Seattle (11:00 am). I received confirmation that the order would be delivered prior to 7:00 pm. They were not delivered. I called the following day (irate) at 9:00 am Chicago time, and was told I would receive a 20% discount and the order was on its way 6:00 pm Chicago time (Seattle time 4:00 pm) the second day- balloons not delivered. Called back. Told them to cancel the order and I was told that the company is in New Jersey and I had in fact ordered them after 2:00 pm. Now, the website says that Avas is a local Seattle florist. Do not order from this florist! I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order with them. Turns out the reviews I did see were a scam and written by them! I don't know how they can get away with this. I ordered a plant arrangement for my niece's 40th birthday and wanted it to be extra special. Otherwise I would not have paid $100.00 for it! They were supposed to include a full size card, balloons, and a big pink bow.
When I went to see her a short time later I could not believe what it looked like. The arrangement looked nothing like the picture on their website and none of the extras I paid for were included. The plant looked like something you could pick up for about $10.00, if that. So disappointed and a complete waste of money. I feel sorry for all the people who have ordered through them and thought that they were sending something nice, and the recipient probably got something really crappy! Also, when I tried to call them about this order all I kept getting was put on hold and then hung up on. Obviously they do not care about customer satisfaction, once they get your money. Place this order yesterday 9/26 garden basket. Received 9/27 at 3:30. They were beautiful. My only concern is I never received a confirmation in my email, I have asked twice for an invoice to be sent to my email and still haven't received one. I ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend who was having surgery. I placed the order on 9/24/19 in the morning for a 9/25/19 delivery, assuming it would be early to late afternoon. On 9/26/19 at 11:43 a.m., I received a call requesting the home address of the recipient as she had been discharged from the hospital prior to delivery. I asked when the delivery attempt had been made and was told 8 pm on 9/25. My friend had been discharged an hour before. So I gave them my friend's home address thinking the florist would deliver to them to her.
At 2:56 PM, I received an email which said: "Great news! Your order has already been processed and will be on its way to be delivered on your requested delivery date. For all status updates on your order, please use the tracking number we have listed below. Thank you for choosing Avas Flowers." The delivery date is 9/27/19; not only is 9/27/19 NOT my requested delivery date, the flowers are being delivered by UPS. I was not told by the customer service person that the flowers would be delivered by UPS and not until Friday 9/27. If she had told me, I would have cancelled the order and got the flowers myself. OH, maybe that's why she didn't tell me. I will never use Avas Flowers again, nor will I recommend them to my friends and family. Such a disappointment!

I ordered a bouquet for someone in the hospital. I chose the upgraded size to match what I saw in the photo. When the recipient sent me a picture of the flowers she received I was embarrassed. These flowers looked NOTHING like the picture. There was easily 4 times less the amount of flowers that were shown in the photo on the website. The vase looked almost empty!!! I paid almost $80! When I contacted someone about my poor experience they said the flowers delivered met their guidelines. Absolutely unacceptable. Unhappy customer. Embarrassed sender. Will never use again. And the customer service is sketchy to say the least. They told me the florist would only issue a small credit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. So many mistakes, zero customer service, apart from the repeated "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience". The flowers I sent for my aunt's birthday sat all day at a front desk. Over one hour spent tracking it, revealed that they had the wrong date, the wrong email, and dropped off the arrangement as if it was a flyer. MY aunt's birthday has come and gone and she still doesn't have the flowers. If you care about quality or having confidence in what you send for a special occasion, DO NO USE THIS COMPANY. Ordered flowers Sunday, 9/15. Didn't expect them to deliver, which they did not. Expected Monday delivery, didn't happen. They said they had attempted to contact me (they didn't) about not having the parts of the display I ordered. They were going to get in additional product on Monday, but not for the arrangement I ordered. I authorized a change. Said they would deliver today (Tuesday). I told them my mother might get moved to rehab center by today (Tuesday). Said they would check with Hospital before delivery. Not an issue because now they say they will deliver tomorrow (Wednesday).
I'm glad my mother survived the surgery because the florist would be late for a funeral. Will never use this Florist in the future and will never use a florist who is linked into a national marketing coop or whatever the arrangement is. If they don't make delivery right tomorrow I will cancel order via my credit card company and order from a more "local" florist. They should be ashamed of their service given that many people rely on florist to be honest and trustworthy in delivering services in times of great despair.

I order flowers for someone In Pa. while I was on an extended vacation in Alaska. I ordered "Dreaming of Tuscany" with a yellow bow. There were some extra charges and I was billed $86.32. A couple days later I received a thank you and a picture of the flowers. There were 3 pink roses and some deeper pink flowers and a very large pink bow. I called the company the next day when I had cell service available. I was told they could not do anything because I waited to long to call them. I was hung up on several times and they said they were very sorry and made me wait for a long period of time for them to answer me.
I finally talked to a supervisor and he told me to read the contract. All I had was a copy of the receipt online. It did say if the flowers are not available they will make substitutions as close as possible to what is ordered. What was sent was not even close. I don't know the value of the flowers they sent. The supervisor sounded like he had a script to answer any complaint. They gave me an $18.00 credit that I will probably never use. We ordered an arrangement of pink carnations, red roses, white daisies and purple filler flowers. They sent an arrangement of white daisies with 6 orange carnations. We called them and they read what we ordered and was told that they would send out another one. We received an email later saying that they can't replace it. This went on for a while with 2 people saying that they would correct their mistakes and the others saying no. The conclusion was that they won't replace them but they would send out refund for partial. Not solving issue. Should have refunded all since we didn't get what we ordered.

I ordered flowers to send to my Sister in Law who had been injured in a car accident and was in a hospital in Wyoming. I placed the order on 9-12-19 and missed the cutoff time for same day delivery by 5 minutes. The order said it would be delivered either that day or the next day. The next day I had a phone call from an unfamiliar number which I did not answer, no message was left. I received a call on 9-14-19 where I was told they could not deliver until 9-17. I told them to go ahead and after hanging up I changed my mind and tried to call them.
I was told to go to their website. I had been there before and it was of no value. I tried again and went to the cancel link and was told to call them because it couldn't perform the function. I called them again and finally got a customer (no) service representative who told me he couldn't authorize the refund because UPS had the order (why couldn't they deliver for 5 days?). He tried to talk to a supervisor who was occupied and said the supervisor would call me later that day or the next day about authorizing a refund. I located a local florist who delivered the flowers within 4 hours. I should have gone there the first day instead of waiting two days.

Totally the worst customer service ever. Ordered for a remote location in TX. Was contacted one hour before closing that they could not make the bouquet ordered online. Gave them a break because the location was remote. Then got another call to tell me the driver could not deliver the arrangement today. He would do it tomorrow (Saturday) and oh, by the way, they close at noon tomorrow! Like WHAT am I supposed to do with THAT INFORMATION?? DOES this mean IT IS NOT GOING to get DELIVERED?
Then, I get another call for a customer survey, REALLY? Was told that they would add extra flowers to the current arrangement since it was delivered, for FREE. I paid almost $70 for this arrangement to have FRESH flowers and now I am going to get EXTRA for FREE... NOT! I will never do business with this shoddy customer service organization again and I think that I am due a complete refund for this nightmare that is currently not over. I purchased an upgraded flower bouquet from Avas Flowers.
2. The flowers delivered were not similar to what I ordered. I ordered purple and white roses and received pink gerber daisies and filler leaves.
3. I paid for an upgraded arrangement and the arrangement was sparse when it arrived.
4. Customer service offered a 15% credit for the late delivery. When I called to describe the sparse bouquet, they would not provide another credit.
So many issues for one order. Save yourself the trouble and do not purchase from this company. I do not recommend their services.

****Please read this, I hope no one else has to have this terrible experience with Avas Flowers. I had ordered $100 worth of flowers to be delivered to my sister at such a happy time of her life (she was expecting her first child). Over night and the following morning she started to miscarry and I quick called Avas to cancel the order (at 10 AM), as it wasn’t supposed to be delivered until 6 PM anyway (as both her and her husband work during the day). What ensued was over an hour phone call (mostly on hold) with customer service informing me that I could not be refunded as they had already attempted to deliver the flowers (8 hours early). Moreover, they offered to redeliver the flowers to a different address, if I paid another 20$ for delivery cost. Even asking for store credit to purchase a different bouquet at a better time was not allowed.
Ultimately, the flowers were never delivered and I was not able to be refunded, all while my family was in the hospital and having one of the saddest days. So unfortunate that the company chosen to help us celebrate in turn made us feel worse in times of sorrow. We are completely understanding that cost were involved to the company far before the miscarriage happened, thus not asking for a full refund, but a little consideration of other people’s circumstances and being willing to adjust in times of hardship would have went a long ways. I would highly suggest finding a different florist, maybe one with a little more empathy.

"I had a terrible experience with this company. I paid for a premium bouquet greater than I would at any local shop and what was delivered was an embarrassment. I talked to Andrew when I put my order in. I was not emailed or cell phone called that the deliver driver was ill and could NOT deliver the order so the order was delivered 5 days later, I would have gone to a place that could deliver in a timely fashion.
Here is what transpired, I called Avas Flowers late Friday when I found our they were NOT delivered and talked to Abraham who then informed me they would be delivered asap and upgraded. So on Tuesday when they were delivered - it was NOT what I had ordered, but roses which is a flower the birthday girl detests! The roses were sad and a bit discolored, also the mylar balloon was very deflated! I only found this out when she called Wed night. So I called Thurs morning early to let them know it was terrible, David said we could NOT have to re-delivered because it was past the 24 hr delivery time! I asked why was the order changed without my knowledge and he said he did not know why.
A $24 credit was given on a $97 dollar order. I did ask David 2-3x to speak to a supervisor before the $24 dollar credit. At this point I was done, I said thank you for the credit and asked one more time to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold and when he came back was told the supervisor was not there/not available and would call me in about an hour. I gave him two (2) phone numbers. It has been well over an hour and I have heard nothing".

Ordered flowers on a Sunday afternoon for Tuesday morning funeral. The Monday was a holiday. The email confirmation gave a delivery wrong delivery time so I called Mon. morning and they confirmed that it would be delivered by 9 am. They tried to contact me later that day but we were on the road and could not get emails. I was dismayed that flowers did not arrive at the church and tried to call Avas but only got long messages and could not get a person. Had phone message when I got home to contact them. He said that they could not find anyone to deliver the flowers because Mon. was a holiday.
I was annoyed but could understand the problem. However they would not refund my payment. I would have to cancel the order that was never filled and pay a fee. They said they would deliver a nice arrangement to my brother's home the next morning even though he did not really want it. It got delivered at 3pm the next afternoon but was nothing special. Very disappointed that I had to pay for flowers that I no longer needed since they never completed the original order.

Late delivery (and for a funeral), inaccurate delivery information provided by phone, and the arrangement (when it finally arrived) was not even SIMILAR to what was ordered. They said "confirmation was sent to me in error." When I complained and provided all the details, they offered no recompense. Check out their fine print on their website: apparently they can substitute ANYTHING (even if not of comparable value) and can be late. Have been ordering flowers for over forty years and have never had a disaster like this one. If I could give fewer than 1 star, I would.

I ordered the Sunset in Belize bouquet (a colorful bouquet of different types and colors of flowers). I paid $6.99 extra for a mylar balloon. The flowers that were delivered were plain roses in the same color. The $7 balloon was a 6 inch, half inflated balloon on a stick. Delivery was supposed to be the same day, but the flowers weren't delivered until the following morning. There was "free" delivery, but I got charged a $17.95 "Service Fee". Very disappointed. I will never use them again and will make sure everyone I know hears about my awful experience.

I went on line and googled florists in Neenah, WI. Avas came up as the #1 florist in the city. There were good reviews on their site. I filled out an order online for an azalea plant that was in a pretty white pot with some navy blue designs on it. It showed a beautiful plant full of flowers. My relative received a plant that was not an azalea, it wasn’t a blooming plant. It looked sparse and was in a plain clay pot. The $42 plant ended up costing $67 as the delivery was free but they charge $20 for service and handling. I would never have bought it. It looks like something they had on hand to get rid of. I filed a complaint over 3 days ago. I received an email back that they would have an answer in 24 hours. I’m still waiting.

I just had a horrible experience with Avas Flowers. I need flowers delivered on a specific date (add in reason for dramatic effect: for my recently widowed mom who was alone on her birthday) so I was searching local florist and was directed to Avas on the front page of the website it that had the words same-day delivery to Traverse City - so I thought I was at a local florist. FYI: I did not need the same day delivery but after reviewing all my communication from this company I did notice wording at the bottom of my receipt that the delivery day is not guaranteed. I just happened to notice two emails in my spam from Avas saying the flowers I choose were not in stock and to please call which I did 3 times, each time I received a message that said, "Thank you for calling" and the line disconnected.
I tried reaching out through the website but the only choice you have to submit a request to be contacted. Flowers were of course not delivered. I tried again this morning, was again disconnected, however on the next try I did get through. The opening message is to please check your spam email and to try and contact them through the website to resolve your problem bc the wait time is 20 minutes. It took some doing but I finally made it through the menu selections to a human. Where the first thing I was told was that they sent me an email saying they did not deliver to Traverse City which is why my flowers were not delivered. I reminded them of the website which states same-day delivery to Traverse City. The next thing he said was opposite of them not delivering to Traverse City.
He told me that Shannon sent me an email saying they were not able to find my mom's house bc the zip code was incorrect. Zip code was correct and I never received that email from Shannon. At this point I said, "I wanted a refund" and he put me on hold for quite a while and came back and said, "Good news, we are only charging you X amount" which was the exact amount that I paid, then he said we will waive the delivery. Reminded him that delivery was free on website, then he said they are giving me a $15 credit to order from them again and he would waive the service fee of $10. I said that was not acceptable and he said they had upgraded my mom's flowers - but I had purchased the upgrade.
I kept pushing for reimbursement and he told me that he could not bc the flowers were already out for delivery and it was too late bc I had not called them back yesterday. I explained that I had called, he said they have no record of my calls. He also put me on hold twice to call my mom and apologize. I was texting with mom during this and no calls were made to her. My reimbursement was refused. So far the flowers have not been delivered. Do NOT use this company.

Ordered a flower arrangement and gifts for my mothers birthday to be delivered Aug 31. Now it’s over one week later and they haven’t been delivered. I called 5 X daily since missed delivery day and instead of this company saying they couldn’t fill the order, they would make up excuses and tell me they will be delivered in a couple hours. I’m writing this review on Sept 5th and still no flowers delivered today. This is really a scam. I reported to the BBB as well. Looks like other customers had similar issues.

I place an order a week ago to deliver an orchid to my aunt for her birthday...She’s in her 80s. At the end of business on her birthday, I get a text to call Avas. I call and was notified that the local florist didn’t have orchids and they would like to deliver a kalanchoe. Of course I’m at their mercy and the guys confirms that it will be delivered today. I track online and see that nothing is happening so I call again and this time, I’m told it would be delivered the following day. And for my inconvenience, they offer me 10% off my next order.
I ask to speak to a supervisor and I’m transferred to someone who said that’s all they do. So...I paid for an orchid, I’m offered a kalanchoe and the delivery is the next day and they do nothing. I cancelled the order as I can do business with such a poor organization. Please check the Better Business Bureau...There are a ton of complaints about this company. Shame on me for not doing research before placing my order. This is a horrible business do give money to. Buyer beware!!!
