This was an awful experience! I ordered online a full, beautiful flower arrangement. What arrived looked nothing like the photo. What I got looked like a 10-year old project of used flowers, none fresh. Stay clear!!

This company is worthless. Looking at the comments from other customers on their page, apparently they were unsuccessful in delivering Mother's Day flowers to anyone. Complete crap. I spoke to upwards of 6 customer service representatives this week via phone and email, and I was ensured numerous times that my flowers would be delivered no later than 9 pm on Mother's Day. DID NOT HAPPEN!!! I spoke to a manager today and received a full refund which I will have to wait up to 10 business days to receive. I was told that they could not contact the Florist for at least 24 hours!!! They said they did not know if or when my delivery would ever happen. Are you kidding me? You have one job! Complete ** show!

I ordered a bouquet that was pictured with multiple colored flowers and greenery. What was delivered was a BOX (not in a vase) of only white roses (no color). One was missing and broken. There was no note with message either!! I complained and they offered $10 store credit. BEWARE. I should have read reviews first and just lost $100!!! WORST EXPERIENCE and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I thought I was buying these flowers from a real florist. I paid $96 with service fee and my other-in-law received her flowers with a Safeway invoice. The flowers look like they were $20 from the Safeway florist. I thought these were coming from an actual florist. They were delivered by some random kid in an old car. I asked for a bouquet that was advertised as lavender colors etc and what was received were 6 purple roses that were already opened and looked like they are about to start wilting and a handful of Lilies that I did not want!! Their smell is too strong and since when are Lilies lavender. I specifically chose the lavender bouquet.

The flower group I ordered included lilies, roses, large mum like flower and other little blooms. The flowers were discounted, the delivery was free with a coupon, then there was a $19.99 service charge because I wanted it delivered that day. I was Ok with this. Later I received notice they would have to deliver it when possible due to Covid-19 and they would upgrade the flowers and give me $10 credit with Avas. Once again I thought OK. Well they delivered the flowers, the flowers were not an upgrade, they looked like a $12 Walmart bouquet, no vase no water and my niece was scrambling to get them freshened up before she sent a pic. and thanked me.
I was quite disappointed in the service. The flowers were substandard for the $58.58 I paid!!! The flowers were not upgraded, and I would have been happy if they were nearly as lovely as the picture they presented for the so called Jumping for Joy Bouquet in my original order!! I will not give them my service again and will leave bad reviews, which I usually don't do!!!

Just as everyone has stated before, the flowers that were delivered look NOTHING like what we purchased. They look like a cheap version of what you can get at a grocery store, and even those are better. I wrote a complaint on their website which of course lets you write the bare minimum for what the issue is. A representative called the next day. I informed them of the issue and stated I would email them photos so they could see the huge discrepancy. So far I have heard nothing back but from the reviews I've been reading online, they have a horrible reputation and provide nothing in return for dissatisfied customers. Last time I will ever purchase through this company. Wish I would have seen these reviews before we paid the ridiculous amount of money it costs through them.

I ordered flowers and a card on May 4th for an important birthday party on May 5th. I paid extra to insure they would arrive on time. It is now May 9th and still NO FLOWERS! I have called and e-mailed Avas flowers numerous times only to be ignored or put on hold fora lengthy time. After numerous attempts and 3 conversations I was told my order would not be refunded and the flowers will be delivered today. It's 4 days PAST the important day and my gift never arrived. I will NEVER use this company again and suggest no one else do either. VERY UNHAPPY.

I had to cancel my order on a very last minute and Avas had online customer service page where I could change/cancel my order! What a great technology they had. I thought I would end up waiting for hours getting a hold of customer service rep. https://www.avasflowers.net/customersupport. They had this page and I was able to cancel my order without talking to a person at Avas. I love this and all the eCommerce sites should have something like this. Great technology Avas! Will definitely give my business in near future.

I wanted to cancel my order after reading all of the atrocious reviews--there is NO WAY TO GET TO TALK TO AN ACTUAL PERSON! I was hung up on by their automated system, their email says it is not monitored.

I normally don't write reviews on companies, and in the rare occasion I do, it's almost always never a good thing. That said, I recently ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother for Mother's Day. A simple $40 flower arrangement that I thought she would enjoy (since she loves flowers and is one with a green thumb). Well, apparently, once I submitted my order, not only did I get an additional shipping fee of $30 (despite the $9.99 coupon discount), but I never received an email confirmation of my order, although while I've tried to track my order online periodically this past week, it said it was scheduled to arrive today, 5/8/2020 (but because Mother's Day is a popular holiday to be giving/receiving flowers, I understood that my mother may get them later this weekend...hopefully in time for Mother's Day).
However, today is the 8th, and still no email confirmation nor notice that the order is on its way. (Not to mention, silly me assumed when placing the order, this was a local vendor and didn't thoroughly read the location of where it was, which is why I will place 5% of the blame on this gift fiasco on myself and be nice enough to give this company an additional half-star rating, if that was possible.) After frustration of no updates from my order and reading previous reviews on here about this vendor, I tried to cancel my order online, but apparently, my request was repeatedly denied, and I kept being referred to calling customer service. So I did (twice), and both times, customer service ending up hanging up on me!
I've worked in customer service for years, and I understand how difficult it is to satisfy customer's needs (especially difficult ones), but hanging up on customers and brushing off customers' complaints/issues (even if the call volume is high) guarantees a customer not coming back. In my case, I've learned (the hard way) to never do business with Avas Flowers EVER AGAIN! They're nothing but scammers and fraudsters, and they make their products overpriced by jacking up the shipping costs. I'm surprised with how many negative reviews I've seen on this company, that Avas Flowers still exists. Guess I know now to be careful on my online shopping search when ordering flowers. Shop local, y'all, and don't give in to Avas Flowers!

I placed an order that arrived late and was nothing like what was pictured. I paid 5 times what the item they did deliver was worth and I have pictures to prove it. When I called back to talk to them about it, I got an recorded "no one is available to take my call" message.

Google [your city] florists. Chances are Avas Flowers will pop up with an ad bragging about being the number one florist in that area. False. They are an online only company who contracts out with local florists. Flowers are always late if they ever show up at all. Rarely do families get anything close to what they ordered. Customer service is an absolute nightmare. I am a funeral director, often families are tricked into ordering through Avas only to be heartbroken when their expensive flowers show up to the funeral home a day or two after the funeral. When Avas drops the ball, I am left to pick up the pieces, often buying flowers myself from florists I trust in order to make it up to them. Absolutely unacceptable.

I paid for the special delivery date. I was notified that the flowers were delivered at end of the day the day after the birthday. I called 3 times and scheduled a return phone call. I never received a call back. I sent 3 emails, never received an answer. The flowers arrangement were not the as described. I paid for the large size. They were a medium size.

I ordered a plant and flower arrangement, plants were nice but there were no flowers. Using their online customer support was difficult. After many tries I was able to submit a complaint not in the right topic, nobody responded. Several days later I was able to submit a complaint and it was answered. I was asked to submit a picture which I did. Then a week Or more went by with no contact. I contacted them again to ask what was the problem. Then I was told that a refund would be issued. I received a partial refund of under $6, I wanted a small flower arrangement. I was not happy with the resolution, and less happy with the difficult complaint process. I think if I did not contact them again nothing would have been done. The plants were very nice, but I wanted flowers. Do not plan to use them again.

Pd for the medium sized Dreaming Tuscany total 75.00 and the arrangement delivered had none of the flowers pictured in the arrangement. Much cheaper flowers delivered. Sent pictures and email to ** and no response. Have pictures. Do not order from this company. Will also lodge complaint with Better Business Bureau.

They advertise as local, and publish fake review and ratings from Google, etc. They are not local, deliver days late, do not cancel when they don't deliver (their CS online and phones just send you in loops), finally sent a pathetic arrangement that was nothing like I ordered and never responded to email requests or complaints.

I paid $85 for a bouquet that look like a $30 bouquet. Very hard to get ahold of customer service. Finally got ahold of somebody 3 days later and they gave me a $10 credit to use within a week.. Ordered because it was near my sister's house. Very poor ratings.

I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday. Didn't find out until I called that they weren't going to deliver on the day I ordered them to. Then I get a email stating they couldn't send the bouquet that I ordered and would send similar one. My mom finally got the flowers 2 days later and they were nothing like I ordered. Would never use Avas flowers again.

I ordered flowers for my sisters birthday. I ordered the “as shown size“ Floral Harmony Bouquet and a card. The photos of the product online and what was received was not the same. The arrangement was smaller in size and looked completely different with front and rear views. So disappointed with the service. Spent over $80 dollars. I do not recommend this company at all.

I ordered a a cute, colorful birthday bouquet for my daughter's 18th Birthday. Instead she got a dozen roses, in a box, that she had to assemble herself. Plain and boring. Not at all festive. I had to call them, sit on hold for 15 minutes before speaking with someone who tried to tell me I ordered roses and carnations when I know it was roses and lilies, meant to be yellow, orange, purple and green. And I’ve NEVER had an arrangement sent that the recipient had to arrange themselves! Terrible business. Stay away.

I ordered from Avas Flowers for a friend's birthday. I ordered a large bouquet of roses mixed with white lilies, mylar balloons, and a card. The photos of the product online versus what was actually received, was absolutely not the same. Not even close to be honest. The flowers were droopy and the bouquet included red roses and one hydrangea. On top of that, she did not receive the balloons or the card. This company promptly withdrew the money for my account but could care less about their customers or the service they provide. I spent over $100 for something I could have bought at Walmart for $10. Seriously disappointed and I will NEVER recommend their service.

Very disappointing! I placed an order that cost over a $100. I ordered a beautiful white yellow, blue and white arrangement in a blue vase with a medium teddy bear and a “it’s a boy” balloon. What was delivered was well worth under $20 and it looked like it came off a grave after a few days, just completely horrid and ugly. There were a few white and lavender flowers mixed in with a lot of greenery in a blue Easter looking basket with a small bunny rabbit in a clear trash bag and a deflated balloon. Very sad and disappointing! Never again!

I ordered flowers for my daughter for Valentine's Day and wish I would have researched this outfit first! What a mess. Flowers never delivered then told they had confirmation from the delivery people, she never received them. I sent emails and spoke over the phone with people I couldn't understand and they told me they were resending her flowers and I can tell you that never happened. They just wanted to get rid of me. So I'm out over a $100 and will never suggest to anyone to use Avas Flowers. Lesson learned! Please use a reputable company with good reviews not this outfit.

I placed an order for a funeral arrangement, paid the rush delivery fee to ensure arrival. I requested delivery by 11am, it was delivered after 3pm! The lily plant was ok but the red and white heart shaped arrangement was anything but what I ordered and no sash was placed which I paid 10.00 extra to have. They don't answer the phone and are avoiding their customer's requests for rectifying the situation. DO NOT ORDER!

I ordered flowers to be delivered from Avas after my wife insisted use them as flowers that were delivered to her recently were beautiful. So I placed my order, but then I read the latest reviews here - mostly negative - and was about to cancel my order before charged my card, but decided to keep it. Glad I did! The flowers that were selected and arranged were beautiful, well received by the person I sent them to, they were delivered on the day I wanted them and even earlier than the scheduled time. I didn't like the $17 service fee tagged on at last second on order, but the overall price was only a little more than if I went with a local service and paid their delivery and service fees. Everything went great, don't know what was up with the other recent negative reviews - my order and the arranged flowers couldn't be any better.

I ordered flowers with a promised delivery time of before 2:00 pm. The company charged me extra for the "guaranteed" delivery. They never delivered the flowers. They don't answer their phone, and their website is a dead end. This company is nothing more than a scam.

I ordered the DELUXE Ruby Red bouquet to surprise my daughter for her college acceptance. I had read other reviews that seemed very positive. I had asked for some white accents be added to complete the school colors. That went ignored. When my daughter sent me a picture of the bouquet - it quite frankly looked like any standard size bouquet, certainly not the DELUXE size I ordered. With tax and the "service fee" of $17.95, my total came to $88. My daughter also told me that there were several artificial flowers in the bouquet. I tried calling immediately -- what a nightmare trying to get someone. So I sent an email. I received a strange call saying "could be spam" and answered hoping it was Avas. It was, but a recorded message wouldn't let me connect. I then received another email saying the tried to call me and to call them back. Then I got a text asking for a picture of the bouquet.
I sent it immediately and called again, this time getting a recording telling me to leave my number and a requested time for them to call me back. I scheduled it for that same day between 2-2:30 pm. NO CALL. Big surprise. Today, I received an email telling me that it has been decided that the bouquet met the size and quality requirements that they promised and that they 'regret' any inconvenience. I guess that's it. No call, no customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I ordered a sympathy bouquet for a loved one on 4/28/2020. The arrangement was $74.99, I paid the extra $9.99 for GUARANTEED same day delivery by 2 pm. After taxes, my order came to $106.00. Fine, I had no issue with that. They charged my credit card almost immediately. Then I get an email a couple of hours later saying that due to the COVID-19 restrictions, my order would not be delivered by 2, but would be delivered by the end of the day. Again, fine. A few hours after that, another email saying they could not deliver today again due to restrictions, but would credit me such and such and deliver on 4/29. Lo and behold, this morning 4/29 another email... Another delay. Then another email saying they needed to speak with and to call the number on the email, yea sure. I call the number over and over again, it disconnects on the first ring. A couple hours later, another email... Delivery not happening until tomorrow, 4/30.
At this point, I have had enough. I want to cancel my order. I wasn't able to do it online like they say you can, so I call in. On hold for 35 minutes, no one picks up. Finally I put in my phone number for a callback. All I want to do is CANCEL the order and get my money back! This company is horrible. Their customer service is rotten and they can't give accurate information on delivery. Absolutely ridiculous. I get the issue with Covid and I understand there are some restrictions. STOP TAKING ORDERS AND MONEY FROM PATRONS IF YOU CANNOT FULFILL THEM! Absurd. I would have been better off grabbing a bouquet from Stop and Shop and having it overnighted by UPS. DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS.

I ordered a floral arrangement online priced at 42.99 with roses and lilies. It was a birthday gift for our daughter in law. Their website listed the town that they had local delivery so I thought great, next day delivery. Wrong, they had a code for free shipping but they snuck in a 17.95 charge at the end of checkout. Next thing I get a email confirming delivery 2 days later!
What my daughter in law received was AWFUL! Looked like a bundle of flowers you can buy at Walmart. They did not notify me that they didn't have the arrangement I ordered, when I went to the email confirming delivery it showed "red mixed floral arrangement, 24 stems", what was received was all yellow and white garbage flowers. Arranged for a new arrangement, requested what I originally purchased to be sent, it states they pick up the flowers for return and deliver new ones. I don't see how, my son said they came UPS! Supposedly they will notify me when this is going to happen, not holding my breath!

Ordered flowers for same day delivery. Flowers delivered on time but they were cheap, ugly and looked nothing like bouquet I ordered. To make matters worse, I was charged 50% more than the price quoted. Bottom line, worst experience ever with a florist. I’m seeking a refund and customer service process is a nightmare as well.

Avas Flowers delivered a Small Size product with noticeable lack of design, although my order was for a Medium size. Their product did not match the be portrayed in their website. Also, due to Covid-19 they are using this to substitute flowers that are not even close to the ones in the order. I will NEVER recommend not purchase any arrangement from this company again.

The flowers we ordered for my daughters birthday were pretty and delivered on time. However, the bouquet smelled SO strongly of cigarette smoke (of which she is violently allergic) that she had to leave it outside. This is unbelievable in this day and age that someone would deliver something that's supposed to be sweet smelling that is so contaminated as to not be useful.

I received a floral arrangement on 4/24/2020 as a gift. They were shipped from New Jersey to Colorado with no water, overnight delivery. There were a dozen red roses and a sprig of yellow asters (I think). As I tried to remove the roses gently from the box they were shipped in, the rose petals starting falling off in masses. The yellow asters looked very malnourished. That doesn't surprise me - no water for overnight delivery - are they kidding. Of the 12 stems of roses I received, I was only able to save 6 stems.
At 4/27/2020 (3 days later) there are only 2 stems remaining; the other 4 stems had black spots on the stems, and the few leaves and roses were drying up. The yellow sprig was done, no chance for recovery no matter what I tried to do. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday I attempted to contact Avas Flowers and it was impossible to do so via phone and website. Save your money. NEVER use AVAS FLOWERS. I certainly won't. So sad, I received a gift and the company that sent them is plain and simply disgusting.

Company Unilaterally changed the delivery date (ordered on 4/23 for delivery on 4/24). Customer service is HORRIBLE. Your website customer service is clunky and difficult to navigate. Calling your toll free number subjects the caller to 5 min of a lecture to use your website (who sent you to the 855# in the first place). It is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel an order online and via your 855 # w/o talking to an agent. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an agent. When answered the agent needs to "check the order" to cancel same. Another long wait.

I ordered an artistic arrangement through this company, selecting the most expensive sized arrangement, which was $90. I received a text and email telling me when it was delivered. I called my daughter only to find it wasn’t delivered and ruined the surprise. When the flowers arrived 2 hours later, they were a total misrepresentation of what I paid for - it was a small arrangement with 4 roses and 4 carnations. It looked like a small arrangement you’d pick up in a grocery store. I called and spent 40 minutes on the phone, most of the time I was put on hold. I never received an apology. I will NEVER order flowers from them again!

Confirmed w/ sales rep the day I needed the flowers delivered before placing order. 10 minutes after ordered the delivery date was pushed back 2 entire days. Defeated the entire purpose of the delivery. Now can’t get through to anyone, besides the auto system even after asking for management. Must cancel within 24 hrs of ordering and of course they’re closed tomorrow. Funny how they can answer for orders but can’t help canceling those orders. Online cancel doesn’t even work at the moment as well.

Please do not order from this florist. The arrangement did not look even close to what I ordered. It was late by 3 days and looks like something I could put together by buying a bouquet at a grocery store and putting it in a vase. I was told they were going to be a day late but not 3 days late! Additionally, they were going to "upgrade" the arrangement due to the delay. Yikes!! I will try to attach photos so you be the judge. Imagine what the "regular" order (not updated) would look like. I feel so embarrassed that the recipient received such an arrangement from our department and 3 days late. I will find another florist or send a gift card.

I ordered flowers for a relative in hospital. I phoned the company and spoke to a representative to confirm the order would be delivered same day and was told yes, before 7PM. Around 6PM I received a phone call telling me that the order could not be delivered before Monday. I told them i needed to cancel the order and got the runaround. It took 4 calls, 3 separate representatives and several hours before they agreed to cancel my order and issue a refund. Horrible experience. I would never consider using this company again. Bad, bad, bad.

On 04/24/2020 I reached out to Avas Florist at ** because my son and his siblings unexpectedly lost their dad a few days ago. The company website and phone number implicated that they were located locally in Snow Hill, NC. I called the number above before placing the order and was given the impression that they were local and was told that the order would be delivered the same day (04/25). I placed the order online a little after 10am on the same day. Around midnight, my son advised me that nothing was ever delivered. I checked the website for an update which stated that the order was received (based on the shipper or florist information). I then called to see if there was any automated information and the automated system stated that the order was scheduled for re-delivery.
On 04/25, I called back around 9am from my cell which is the number used on the order, no one seemed to answer the phone but as soon as I called from my dad's number which is also a 252 number all of a sudden my call is answered. The first lady that I spoke with told me that she couldn't help me and that I would have to be transferred to Customer Service. I finally spoke to "Roy" who stated that he could not cancel the order and that all he could do is contact the sender. When I asked who the sender was he stated that he could not share that information which is totally bogus. They are engaging in deceptive business practices and this has to stop!!

If I could do a minus star I would of!!! I ordered sympathy flowers to be sent to a co-worker. I paid $103.35. They said they delivered them yesterday, the recipient "never received them"! I emailed the company, called no less than 14 times, they tell you they will call you back but they don't! Then I found out another co-worker sent the same person flowers from the same company Avas flowers. She also got notified they were delivered they never were!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Unless you have money to throw away!!

Ordered flowers and candies for my mother in law 2 days in advance. Flowers were $64.00 and candies $30.00 according to the ad. Got bill for $124.00 with nothing itemized. Flowers were delivered without candies. My mother in law said they were nice. She is older lady and does not use camera. And she is polite person. So I can not say what flowers really looked like. Calling to find out about candies took me over an hour through enormous amount of automatic tellers. Finally got to the rep and was explained, that they run out of candies and refund will be issued. After that got an e-mail, claiming refund for the half of the price of those candies. Started calling again, but got nothing but suggestion to leave convenient time to call back. Nobody called of course. Do not see any refund either.

I would not recommend using this company to anyone. I recently ordered an arrangement for a family member who lost their mother. I paid over $80 and the arrangement that was sent to them look like it was maybe worth $30. I contacted Avas flowers and they informed me that it was within the guidelines. Don’t waste your money or your time ordering from them.

$128.00 down the drain and a pissed off girlfriend. I should have known better. Don’t use this business. It’s a scam. I ordered paid the rush delivery fee even bought the premium package for 78.00. No flowers no customer service to get ahold of. It’s a total loop for customer service. It’s just a way to skim money from people.

I ordered Avas flowers for my father’s funeral. I ordered a week ahead of time, spoke to a customer service rep and they assured me there would be no issues. I ordered a very large bouquet and requested delivery the day before to make sure they arrived on time. They never arrived and I received zero notifications. I purchased flowers for a sick friend and used a coupon that offered a discount and removed the delivery fee. At the time of the order the total itemized charges were around $63.00. When I checked my account a few days later I had been charged $84. I attempted to reach a customer service representative but it's an all automated system. They offer a call back option but never called back. Do not use this service.

I ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday to be delivered the next day. I received an email the date of delivery, that the flowers would not arrive until two days later! I promptly picked up the phone to call and cancel the order, which was less than 24 hours after ordering, to be told it could not be cancelled. I was offered a discount of $6.99 on a $100.00 order! Seriously! Well the flowers arrived at the end of the day, 2 days later, by UPS in a box! They were nothing like I ordered. I could have picked up this bunch of flowers at a local grocery store! Now, I cannot get anyone to answer my emails or phone calls! Will NEVER use this company again!!!

They advertise for same day delivery - I chose NEXT day, however it took them 3 days to deliver. My online order was a pachira plant, and they delivered a bonsai. They are nothing alike. Terrible bait and switch. Can’t deliver on anything you pay for.

I recently ordered flowers to be delivered for my MIL's birthday. Due to the global pandemic, many local florists were closed and the larger flower delivery services were honest in saying they couldn't make a Monday delivery because they normally work with local florists. I finally came across Avas Flowers, which on their website, listed a local phone number and the same city that my order would be delivered to. They offered "free delivery" but added on a $20 service fee, which seemed steep for a small town florist delivering to a neighbor, so I called to see if there was a way around that. They answered quickly, CONFIRMED that they were indeed a local florist, and proceeded to push me through my order ("to help and be sure nothing would slow down my order processing). $80 later, they guaranteed my delivery would be there on time.
Come delivery day, my order was JUST BEING SHIPPED from FLORIDA (to upstate NY). Far from local. I tried calling repeatedly to no avail. Eventually I opted for the "schedule a call back" option, which they never followed through with. I gave them an hour grace period, and then called back. It rang/was on hold forever and eventually the system said they were closed and listed their hours (that did not conform to the hours they offered to schedule my call back). So I called again many times this morning. One of my calls was answered after a long wait time, only to be transferred to someone else, I was on hold again, then the next guy said he was going to "look into it" while he put me on hold forever, only for them to DROP MY CALL. I called back again and after waiting it out, the only option they gave was the "schedule a call back" again. I ignored that persistent suggestion since they don't follow through and my call was dropped again.
This company is the biggest scam. They lie about their location, they make false promises, they offer pseudo-coupons when they're actually overcharging for everything, and then evade phone calls by unhappy customers. I spent well over an hour trying to reach customer service and have not gotten any closer to resolving my issues. Absolutely ridiculous!

On 04/20/2020 I ordered a bouquet of flowers and a birthday balloon to be delivered the same day. The additional charges DOUBLED the final bill. Flowers and balloon did arrive.... But flowers were not a bouquet but a WHISK, and some flowers in the bouquet shown were missing. This arrangement has never even passed by a florist. Miserable!!!! Don't EVER use this company. I am complaining to Better Business Bureau.

I ordered an on sale $39.99 flower arrangement on 4/18/2020. I was assured it would be delivered the same day. A received a receipt for $61.78 which included a $17.95 service fee! The next day I received an email thanking me for the order and saying the flowers would be delivered (by UPS!) on 4/21. I tried calling customer service many times to complain and cancel my order. On one such call, I left my number for a call back which never came. At one point, I got hold of a manager and gave him the order number. He said, “I will check on this and be right back.” I waited and waited and then a recorded survey came on asking if I was satisfied with the resolution to my problem! When I answered “no”, it disconnected me. Do NOT use this company!

In ordering a 52.99 Peace Lily for sympathy was told it would arrive 4/18 by noon & didn’t arrive until 8 pm! The plant was NOT in bloom and the bud that was coming up was small & it was filled in with another flower. Trying to reach them was impossible! NEVER again!

Ordered flowers last night for delivery to my daughter today. I got a call about 2pm indicating that the house number I provided was incorrect. My daughter recently moved so I wanted to re-verify her address. I asked if I could call back in a few minutes. When I called back, I got put into a NEVER ENDING loop of voice prompts. Not sure how but I FINALLY was able to leave my number on a line that told me I'd get a call back between 4 and 4:30pm. No one ever called. There's no phone number to call. No way to log a concern on line.
The website has a link called "where's my stuff." When I input my order number, it responds that my order is important to them. Hmmm. Turns out, the address I provided was correct. I don't have the invoice they promised, despite asking for a second and a third copy, checking my spam folder, etc. Still hoping for a call back or confirmation of delivery but I'm not hopeful. It's 6:50pm and they stop delivering today at 7. I'm wondering if or how I can even contact anyone to get my money back.

I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers for my Step Mom's Funeral! I ordered on a Tuesday with delivery suppose to be the next day by 12:00 PM. Here we are on a Friday.. No Flowers...and everything is over! I tried to call them several several times. No one came to phone and had to hold for long periods of time with no response.. I sent email after email with my last email probably not being the nicest. Finally some guy called me this am to apologize about not delivering the flowers and wanted to know what I wanted to do! I ordered flowers on Monday 4/13/2020. Spoke to representative to make sure my order would be definitely delivered same day. Salesperson said they would be if I ordered a bouquet tagged “Same Day” which I did. Even confirmed with rep the one I wanted and was told yes they would be delivered same day. At 4:30 I received an email that flowers would be delivered the NEXT DAY! I called to speak with someone again. Told they couldn’t guarantee same day. I tried to cancel my order since the recipient would not be home to receive the flowers and I didn’t want them left outside because the temperature would be 30 degrees and they would freeze.
I was offered upgraded arrangement and $15 credit on a future order which I declined and again asked to cancel and issue a full refund. I was told my order would be canceled and I would get a cancellation email but I could not get a full refund as they charged me a “service fee” of $19.95 that would not be returned. Never got the cancellation email or credit to my credit card.
Next day I received another email that my order was delivered successfully at 5:00pm! (Mind you the order was canceled). The flowers were never delivered and the recipient has a ring doorbell and no recording of a delivery ever happened. I have called 4 times to complain and inquire only to be transferred then disconnected. I went to the website to inquire on their online services they tell you to go to and clicked on “where’s my stuff” and have not gotten any response after 2 inquiries. I called my bank to see if I can do anything to get my money back since I paid with my debit card and have not been able to get anywhere or response from company. They are looking into it for me to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND THIEVES.

This company is a scam!! They are a third party vendor not a florist!! They charged me a same day delivery fee... and a processing fee. Flowers were never delivered! Took multiple calls and multiple emails to finally get a live person. No explanation on why flowers weren't delivered and they couldn't deliver. Offered to refund my money but would not give me my processing fee back.. so they made $22 to do absolutely nothing!! Peeved beyond belief. These people should be shut down! I believe the whole intent is just to get the $22 to process absolutely nothing. Attorney General should investigate this company!

I ordered a large arrangement of roses, lilies, and carnations for Easter to be delivered to my mother. I paid a rush processing fee so it would be there on Easter. The total was $104. However, the arrangement arrived 4 days late and was absolute garbage. It was 12 poorly arranged roses and one carnation. It looked like a toddler made the bouquet. The most frustrating part is their customer service phone number redirects you to use their online customer service page, so you can submit a complaint then be ignored.

I ordered Easter flowers for my 94 year old mother, since we could not be with her due to the virus, even paid rush delivery and they never came. They said they would take off the rush charge, but still billed me for it. I asked 3 times for a receipt to be sent to my email, never arrived. They have charged the account with no flowers. I ordered flowers for my son and his family for Easter on April 12th and contacted Avas flowers. I paid with my credit card and received the receipt stating delivery would be by 7 pm on Friday, April 10th. There was a notice saying because of the virus, delivery might be a day late. On Saturday I got a notice that delivery might be late. I was thinking okay it will show up on Easter. Then I looked up my account and order and it said delivery will be April 14th. I called and nastily was told there was nothing they could do about it and it will be delivered on the 14th. On Monday I got a notice that the flowers wouldn't be delivered at all and they will credit my account. Never use the company!!!

Ordered 2 Easter arrangements to be delivered to the same address. By 4:30 not delivered, tried to call. No answer. Went through their website to receive an email that it was delivered at 5:08, called recipient. Checked at 5:15, no flowers. They never delivered. Website states Services xzy implying they are in xzy but they're not there in NJ. Placed an order on a Friday night, Called Sat to confirm delivery for Sat. After numerous dropped calls and failed call backs Was told order was being worked on as we speak and would be delivered today. Later checked website to check delivery status. Website said flowers delivered, by could not confirm delivery since it was by UPS/Fedex. Really couldn't confirm UPS/Fedex delivery.
Spoke to my Granddaughter on Sunday for her 20th Birthday... Asked about the flowers... She said nothing ever arrived. Called Monday. Again dropped call and computer runaround before I spoke with someone. Only reason for no delivery VERY BUSY. Person I spoke with sounded like they were in a break room with 10 people, and not a call center. Lies, false information and fraud. Their phone messages says "One of the best Florist in the country." Can't say I've ever seen worse reviews for a business! Just cancelled the order. Now let's see how long it takes to get my money back.

I ordered flowers for my aunt’s 92nd birthday during our state’s stay home quarantine since I wasn’t able to be with her at her assisted living location because they weren’t allowing visitors due to the Coronavirus. I ordered them several days before the delivery date to make sure they got to her in time. The day AFTER the flowers were supposed to have been delivered I got an email telling me what I had ordered wasn’t available and asking if substitutions could be made. I received the email very late in the day and I responded as quickly as I could. That was on a Tuesday afternoon. Tonight on Saturday night I just received another email telling me they were unable to find anyone to fill my order!! All week long I assumed my aunt received my flowers! I did receive a refund but immediately asked to be removed from their email list because this was unforgivable and a very poor way to do business!

I’ve never been so frustrated with a company in my life. I ordered a flower arrangement for my aunt's 70th birthday for almost 90$! When it was delivered it was not what I ordered at all! I understand it’s hard with everything going on but they should’ve informed their customers. They would only give me a 20% discount on the flowers that I wouldn’t even buy from a grocery store! I was on hold for over an hour and nothing was handled. I am beyond dissatisfied with my order. Will never order from them again! Since we cannot visit due to stay at home order, we figured this would be perfect to brighten her day. The plant they sent was a cheap plant with no yellow flowers In It or any flowers to that fact or any color they could of substituted. I pd $70 for a cheap ** plant with no character. I ordered an $80 floral arrangement with a balloon. Delivered a day late, which I was ok with but it wasn't remotely the arrangement nor quality that I ordered and paid to receive. I ordered a mixed arrangement with sunflowers, pink roses, orange lilies, lavender stock and green hypericum berries with a birthday balloon. They delivered 9 unopened sunflowers. Nothing else. No roses, no lilies, no lavender, no green hypericum berries and no balloon. I emailed them my complaint and they refunded the $6.99 missing balloon. I called, and after many phone trees, waiting on hold - got a customer service rep who said - "We emailed you with a credit to your account (of $10.00)" - but that was because the order was a day late that they sent PRIOR to the delivery of the embarrassing arrangement. Shaking my head. Don't trust this vendor with your money or your expectations of good customer service.

I googled a local flower shop and Avas Flowers came up first. I clicked on the website and it looked legitimate. I ordered flowers for same day delivery for $73.90 and they charged my card immediately. I received an email saying they would be delivered by 2:00 PM. The flowers were never delivered so I called customer service three different times and every time they said they "had to call the designer" and put me on hold. The designer never answers the phone and so they said they would call me back. This place is a total scam! I never received what I ordered and ended up having to order somewhere else. I am literally on the phone AGAIN with them right now... Already waiting over an hour (this time and curious how long they will keep me waiting) for them to check my order from over a week ago that was said to have been delivered that day (I received at text it was delivered at 8pm) and was not. I called the next day... That said they would deliver that day (a day late) and call me back. Never delivered; no call. I can never get through and keep being transferred. I have already spent over 2 hours the past week on the phone for this one birthday arrangement. I think they just take your money. "Free delivery" but over $30 in processing fees. When I ordered, credit card was charged immediately. 1. A few days before delivery of the "birthday bouquet" I received an Email offering me "condolences on my loss" and explaining they could not deliver the one I ordered. I agreed to let them create a bouquet of their choosing, stressing it was a birthday, not a funeral! 2. The flowers were not delivered as promised on the birthday. I only learned of this through a relative since they were to be a surprise. No notice from company. 3. I called and they promised to deliver and credit my account with $10. On 3.26.20 I ordered an arrangement for my daughter. What was purchased and what was delivered were very different. I emailed them since that was their method of communication to let them know I was not satisfied. I received an email the next day asking for a photo of what was delivered so they could look into it. Four days later they sent me an email that stated I was being refunded $10 with no explanation of how they determined this. No personal contact was made until I called to get answers.
Finally spoke to a rep who was able to tell me how they determined that amount and offered me a $15 store credit. I turned it down. I won't give them another shot. I didn't want a credit nor a refund. What I wanted was for them to deliver what I paid for. I know some substitute will be on occasions but this was totally off. I ordered a medium size Purple bouquet with roses, baby roses and pretty purple filler in a nice tall vase. What I recieved was a mix of uncordinated color flowers in a short stubby vase. I wish I could post a photo of both arrangements. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

This place ruined my birthday! My boyfriend tried to have some flowers delivered to me at my job for my birthday, he asked around what time they would be delivered so I knew when to meet the delivery person and was told at 2 PM. My boyfriend wanted to confirm this since I only work until 5 PM and he didn't want me to miss them and was promised by the employee that they would have them here by 2 PM. Well time rolled by and no flowers. I called my boyfriend to see what happened, not to mention I have been sitting at my desk watching my front doors and waiting for someone to walk up with my flowers all day and to my surprise NO ONE shows up!!
While contacting the location my boyfriend is given the runaround about his delivery and told that they should have shown up a while ago and said they would look into it and call back. They called back after trying to contact the florist and told my boyfriend that no one answered, so just to end this disaster he asks to cancel the order and for a refund... and of course THEY CAN'T. He was told that they had to speak with the florist to do that and they only work from 2 PM to 7 PM, so my boyfriend is trying to confirm that he will get a callback and his money returned but can't get that since apparently the employees here at Ava's Flowers know nothing and can't help at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and I would hope this business learns some better practices soon before ruining, what are suppose to be special days.

I wish I would have read these reviews first. In short, I ordered a plant, balloons, mylar balloons and card for my daughter who had a baby. I got an email to call them so I did. They are out of the plants, balloons and want to substitute all of it. I decided to cancel the order. The guy then tells me I have to pay the $15 service charge regardless.??? Really, they didn't do anything but cancel my order. The guy was a jerk and spoke poorly and was hard to understand. Crap for service especially in these hard times going on. What a rip-off. PLEASE order somewhere else, there are better places. I don't know how they got the reviews they show on their website, probably 'self' planted.

I live in California and thought I was ordering from a local company. Avas is in New Jersey. Flowers I ordered for rush delivery were not delivered. I called them to ask for a refund since my friend was not at the hospital any longer. When asking for a refund, on my call to New Jersey, the operator for Avas had to go back and ask the flower designers if they had sent the flowers yet, from New Jersey! Spent $125.00 was reimbursed $91.00. I think you understand what I'm saying. Be sure to place your order at a florist close to where you want them delivered.

Terrible service. Constant upcharges. Pictures are not the same as what is delivered. Cust service does not Exist. A real take the money and run. They realize that the person ordering usually does not see the delivered product and they take advantage of this, I have seen the flowers that were delivered and was embarrassed, They offer a small discount to lure you back. But I would rather pay more or I send a gift card to an internet store instead of sending flowers.

I ordered over the phone while viewing the website description. I upgraded the floral arrangement for my dear aunt's 90th birthday. Flowers were delivered as promised however, they were flowers put in a vase only...NO ARRANGEMENT AT ALL to make them look pretty. When I complained and sent them a picture they just kept saying “we followed the recipe”, basically, x amount of Lilies, x amount of roses, etc. I was offered a 10% credit and $20 store credit....wow! I’ve had six calls in succession since I cancelled my order! I wanted to send flowers to my 80 year old mother who just had surgery but due to corona virus shut down, I was not able to see her. So, since I’d used a wonderful florist in Chico, Calif before called Avas, when I did an internet search I thought this was that shop. Oh how wrong I was!!! I had trouble with them from the start! This is a call center ordering hub. But their employees have a script that makes it appear they are at the shop you think you are calling. I had two useless calls with operators that finally, after being asked directly multiple times where they are located, finally admit one was in New York and the other was in New Jersey... basically just telemarketers that say they are in the ‘main shop’ and are talking with ‘their designers’. It is a sham, I later learned.
So, finally I get an arrangement ordered. Very shortly thereafter I decide to cancel, after I got in contact with the real ‘Ava's’ in Chico CA, (they had to change their name due to complaints about THIS company and being mistaken for this horrible ‘service’. Ok, so, I try to cancel. The web site wouldn’t let me cancel, saying I had to contact a representative!! So I call the number listed... after being on hold for 22 minutes the first time and the call cut off, then being on hold the second time for 24 minutes and the call cutting off, I requested a call back. The soonest call back was going to be in over 4 hours. But, if I don’t stop the order and delivery of flowers, I have to pay for it. So, after consideration, and me spending more than an hour just trying to cancel, I called my bank to stop charges. Since the charge on my card was ‘pending’, they could not stop the charge. So I ended up canceling my card!???
But wait, it doesn’t end... I got several call backs from the company hours after attempting to cancel the order, only to have the calls drop before I could talk to a person. After about 5 of these calls, I stopped answering them. Then this morning, 3 days after this fiasco and horrendous shopping experience, I get yet another call back. Avas is horrible. Do yourself a favor; when you want to order flowers, search for ‘local florist’ near where you want them delivered! That’s what I did after canceling this order.

Just a friendly caution in light of my experience. The arrangement I was told I would receive was mostly greenery, nothing like the picture on the website. It was the wrong size and arrived a day late. The card had the recipients name spelled incorrectly. I have spoken with multiple representatives over the past day and was given $10 off the order which I don't think is nearly enough considering. I would not recommend them.

I ordered flowers to be delivered by AVAS Flowers on March 13 with delivery on March 14, 2020. I selected a design with pink and purple flowers with a card. I picked a small display and charged the purchase to my credit card. The flowers that were delivered looked nothing like what I ordered. I called and complained and was told someone would call the next day. I didn’t receive a call or an email. I called again on 3-16-3020 and was told they would resend the e-mail but I never received the e-mail and it wasn’t in any of my folders. Not only were the flowers a large disappointment but I was embarrassed by the flowers that were sent. The greeting card that was included wasn’t even signed with our names. Ordering flowers from out of state shouldn’t be this hard nor this disappointing. Would I use this florist? Not for anything.

Received flowers, 2 ugly bouquets instead of 1 nice one. They false advertised, I received the wrong colors and completely different styles of bouquets. You will not be pleased or satisfied ordering from here.

I would call a local florist in the town you’d like to order instead of using Avas. They guaranteed same day delivery, and then I got an email confirmation that the flowers were being delivered the next day. When I called, they explained it was because it was close to their cut off time, so tell me that THEN! Give me the option to not order. They also asked for my message, and I discovered they charged me $4 for a greeting card, never asking me if I wanted an actual card. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT order with them.

I tried to go online to have a bouquet delivered for my company to a client, but I found out that deliveries for next day were only 2pm or after. So, I called to put in my order. I specifically asked if a delivery could be made first thing (8 am) the next morning and I was assured that this could be done. The person that took my order had a very thick Indian accent and he was difficult to understand. He seemed to know the product/bouquet I was talking about and he read my card message back to me correctly, so I felt confident of my order. My credit card was charged right away.
The next morning it was not delivered. I tried to go online to find out when my order was going to be delivered, but no one answered my request. I finally got a call at 4 pm that day saying that they had not delivered the bouquet yet, AND my original order had been changed. I told them that the business I was trying to get the flowers to was closed now and they would have to deliver them on Monday.
I requested a discount for not being able to deliver when they said they would and not having the product I ordered. The person on the phone told me that delivery times were not guaranteed, even though the first person I spoke with told me it could be done at the time I requested. She offered me a 15% discount. When I told her that was not enough, she said that was all she could do. The flowers were eventually delivered on that next Monday morning, BUT no card was attached! The client called us to ask if we had sent the flowers. How embarrassing! I will NEVER order from Avas Flowers again.

I want you all to order from Avas Flowers...you wont regret it...I am from out of state and needed to order flowers for a memorial. I had no idea where the memorial was located or what the location was like. To make a long story short I had them delivered before the service was scheduled and nobody was there to receive the flowers. So they didn't deliver them..(they couldn't) Avas called me and worked very hard with me to deliver to another location or for a future time. Avas Flowers has my back...thank you Avas.

I ordered a birthday bouquet for my mother's birthday and it supposed to have been same day delivery by 7pm. At 4:32 I received an email with a tracking number for UPS. I immediately called to see what was going on. I was told that they notified me at 9:11 that no local florist was available and my bouquet was not available. I never received this email. They substituted my order to a dozen of assorted roses. When I complained. They said that their policy states they can substitute to a similar item. However,the substitution is not remotely close.
They offered me a 10% off next order. I informed the rep that it would not be a next order. She offered a partial refund and stated that the 15.95 shipping cost was not refundable. I stated that it should not be a shipping cost on a same day delivery. By now she was annoyed and said "at least you are get a dozen of roses for s15.95". Really! I could've went to Wal-mart and paid the same thing without a headache. Lesson learned. They don't deserved your money and business.

Funeral arrangement was ordered on Thursday for a Saturday or Sunday delivery by noon. Well I checked my email before I went to the funeral home to see if they were delivered and it said that it had been delivered. Imagine my surprise at 4pm when we arrived that they hadn’t been delivered. Inquiring with the funeral director, he said he hadn’t seen any flowers delivered.
THEN trying to call or get ahold of anyone at Avas Flowers is like trying to climb a mountain...extremely frustrating. Then when we did get in contact with someone (Victor) and that’s after trying the online system (which stinks). We told Victor our situation since now it is 5:30 and still no arrangement. So we wanted to cancel it. How do I put this...Victor was the most uncooperative, non customer friendly, and smarty pants attitude person I have ever dealt with any customer service. Long story short...I don’t know where this delivery person went to but the flowers showed up at 6:15 (viewing was over at 7). Disappointing...you better believe it. Upset...you bet ya. Ordering from Avas Flowers again....NEVER!
Victor called us back and said he would credit our $118 bill with 25% off. We’re filling a complaint with our credit card company. Not only were we very disappointed with the service from Avas Flowers but with their customer service...if you don’t have customer service....you’re not a very good company to deal with. Especially a first and last time customer! Pay heed...don’t be impressed by Avas Flowers flowery website...it’s all a bunch of fertilizer.

Placed order on 3/6 and inquired several times on call if the delivery would be made same day. Was assured it would be. Requested extra lilacs to be added to my order. I paid additional fees for the lilacs - total $105.88. Was not delivered on 3/6, called and spoke to manager who was going to upgrade and have delivered first thing 3/7. The arrangement delivered was nothing like what I ordered nor was it upgraded. There wasn’t a single lilac on it. The arrangement delivered was multi colored roses and carnations. No ribbon. It looked like it had been thrown together. I was embarrassed over the arrangement. There is no way to rectify this with the recipient. CSR and manager need further training on customer service and communication. I will never use this floral service again.

I can't think of one good thing to say about this inept, unorganized, unprofessional company. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT place an order with them! I would give them zero stars if possible, they don't even deserve one star. Our closest friends who reside in a different state had a death in their family. We could not attend the funeral, so we wanted to send a floral bouquet to let our dear friends know that our thoughts were with them. We contacted Avas on Thursday before the showing/burial on Monday. There was plenty of time for Avas to process the order correctly. Two weeks later, we get an email from Avas asking us to contact them regarding the status of our order and delivery. They NEVER delivered our large, deluxe pastel floral funeral arrangement that they were charging us over $125 for, plus fees. They offered to give us $50 credit and send a plant, which was totally unacceptable.
After asking for a Supervisor, (which doesn't exist) and talking to 6 so called customer service reps (who have no idea what service is) I finally was refunded in full for my order. The funeral home I was dealing with kindly tried to tell me not to use Avas, but I liked what I saw online and went ahead with them, which was a HUGE mistake. When you deal with their customer service department, they are not in the local flower shop you are calling, so beware of that fact. Just beware and be advised, you DO NOT want to use this horrific company.

We ordered flowers on Saturday, 2/28/2020 for our dear friends funeral to be delivered by noon on Monday, 3/2/2020 for the wake that was to begin at 4:00 PM. While we were at the wake, I received a text from AVAS (5:30 PM) stating the flowers were delivered. I also received an email stating the same as the text except to say they were delivered at exactly 5:23 PM. Problem is, no flowers were delivered to the funeral home and we didn't leave until 8:15 PM. The staff and owner made three separate searches for the flowers and. Our friend was the only funeral so the flowers could not have been mixed in with someone else. When we arrived home, I immediately went on my computer to verify our original order and notify AVAS about the missing flowers.
On Tuesday morning at 8:10 AM I received an email from AVAS stating "We understand your frustration and apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. We rely on the information provided to us by the delivery drivers and pass that information to the sender as soon as we receive it. We apologize for any discrepancy and are looking into the matter. Sincerely." After the staff made yet a 4th search for the flowers I replied to AVAS at 8:50 AM "We are at the funeral home and are leaving for the church. Please credit our account for the total purchase amount. There is no reason for this to have happened and we are embarrassed. Thank you." The funeral began on Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM at the funeral home and proceeded to the Basilica in Boston at 10:00 AM, ending at the graveside around 12 noon.
On Wednesday, March 4th (the day AFTER the funeral) I received two calls from two different ladies at AVAS, 11:14 AM that lasted 1.04 minutes and 11:18 AM that lasted 1.23 minutes. On both calls the caller stated that the flowers were delivered on Tuesday, just after noon, "per our order." Needless to say, I gave both of them an earful and thankfully for me, I was at a restaurant having brunch with my wife and kept myself composed. I told both of them how embarrassed my wife and I were and that I expect my account to be credited immediately. I even gave the second caller 1 hour to process my credit or I would take them to small claims court without any further notification.
To say I was appalled that AVAS would try to change the terms of our agreement to cover their own ** would be an understatement. These flowers were for a funeral and AVAS could have cared less about their failure to perform. In closing, I think back and wish I had looked at all the horrible reviews before ordering from AVAS.

This is my second (and LAST) time ordering from Avas flowers. My previous delivery about 6 months ago was a day late. This delivery was three days late, and they claimed it delivered when it hadn't. I called customer service three separate times to confirm delivery and was told they were having issues with the florist. I told them this was unacceptable, and was now several days late for an anniversary. I asked them what type of compensation could be offered and was told 10%.
I asked to speak to a manager, and was put on hold for several minutes then told that no one was available. I told them anything less than 50% off was unacceptable. I was then told that they would never happen and was not allowed to speak with management. I cancelled my order, which was promptly refunded - the only good thing I can say about their customer service. They take forever to answer the phone when you call, and they seem to avoid person to person interaction at all costs. If you want your delivery on time, I'd avoid using Avas Flowers.

There's hidden fees, the total comes up then you enter your card information and after submitting for they had on a hidden service fee of almost $20! They say you can cancel, but they still charge you the service fee. The customer service line took forever to get through and they dropped my call. Very unhappy, will no use this flower company ever again. BEWARE of bogus add on costs that you aren't aware of until they charge your card.

The picture on the web was far more dramatic and impressive than what was delivered. Ordered this for a male college friend. Chose this bouquet Because it did not have much pink. But the delivered flowers had red roses and large number and big pink carnations. Only two variety. Looked totally different. Now I am praying that he didn't misinterpret and think that I was disrespectful.
Additionally, while placing order they said it will be delivered before noon. But in the order itself it showed after 2:00 PM. Not after 10 minutes placing the order I called back to get this corrected. But now I have to go thru different group. Order takers don't deal with cancelations. There they tell me they will deliver the message to flower arranger. So I request them to send the updated order with delivery time change. They say they CANNOT!!!?
I ask them why, they don't have an answer. I asked them when if I want to place order for a bigger arrangement. Then they say they will cancel the current order and then re-issue new order and send confirmation!!!. But they can't update an order or cancel the one already placed!!. I am consistently disappointed with flower companies. They are the new car sales men. They shame car sales men. My suggestion is to stay away from this company. Only positive I can say is... Bouquet was delivered on time. But is it a blessing or a curse... Delivered a pink arrangement to a man ????

I don't know what else to do. I've paid $170 to Avas for 24 roses upgrade and a red vase with a big box of $35 chocolates delivered.. I got a box with six chocolates I could have got for $5 and one dozen roses wrapped in plastic in a cheap plastic vase .. I've got pictures. Wrote the company four time. No reply / it's been two weeks .... I've called. They offered me 5% money back I never received .. This is full time robbery and I've got pictures what showed up .. It hard when you buy stuff for someone else. You're just not there to see what they received. Sometimes you never know .. It was truly heartbreaking. I could have bought it all for myself for 20 and I'm not exaggerating one bit ... :)

I got up at 6 am to order flowers for my girlfriend on her birthday, as I was leaving town - I wanted to be sure to get delivery while I was gone. Delivery was for 2PM - I paid an additional $17 service fee to make this happen. Total price was over $86.00 for a medium bouquet of flowers. At 3 pm I got an EMAIL - not a phone call - saying that they were unable to get the flowers put together and did not deliver them and they would deliver them 3 days later!! So now - my girlfriend would not get her birthday flowers and I would look like a jerk!! I had to call the phone number in my email to get any service or answers - the phone went straight to HOLD and I had to wait almost 5 minutes before anyone answered.
I had a rude customer service agent who finally agreed to cancel my order because they could not do their job and deliver the flowers I had ordered. Her birthday was today - not 3 days later, and they couldn't even call so I could get someone else to deliver. By 3pm it was a little late to get same day delivery! Now I have to wait at least 10 days to get my refund. What a joke - I will never use this company again and will never refer them and I would tell you to run away from these bunch of fraud flower pushers!

Flowers $115 but look like a supermarket bouquet. First, the ads show samples of full, beautiful flowers for $49.00 but I wanted a big bouquet for my physically ill sister on her birthday. The person who took the info could not spell and had the wrong address so the flowers were not able to be delivered on her birthday. The delivery man was very nice but by the time they corrected the address, it was too late. The flowers were delivered the next morning but I was so disappointed. A small bouquet with the cheapest flowers, not all red and purple, as asked, and a rip off for the money. I live across the country and had to rely on florists in the same city. Go elsewhere. I agreed to the higher price but the flowers were cheap. So disappointed.

Ordered deluxe Gourmet Basket for girlfriend for anniversary. She received Kroger's saltine crackers, Stacks potato chips! She was too embarrassed to tell me what was sent until I pressed her for details. When she sent a picture, I was very much disappointed. AVAS said they won't do anything as the order is more than 24 hours old and the basket contains perishables. I didn't realize crackers and chips were perishables.

I called Avas Flowers at 2:30 to order flowers for my best friend. They said they could guarantee delivery same day. When I got home from work 5:39 called to confirm order. They could not find order then I gave address. She said, "Oh he entered your name and phone number and email wrong," but they did charge my card.. She said, "I'm so sorry but it will go out tomorrow." I said just cancel it and she offered me a 10% discount for next time. I said there won't be a next time. And she tells me it will be 7 to 10 days to get a refund. Really bad service.

I never write reviews but am irritated enough to spend the time to warn other potential customers. I am giving one star because they actually refunded me when I asked to cancel my order. I ordered a sympathy bouquet that needed to arrive on a certain day. I was excited when they had same-day service, so I placed my order. An hour before the scheduled delivery, I received an email asking me to call them regarding my order. Granted, they had my contact information. After 20 minutes back and forth, they guaranteed my order would arrive 2 days later and would be a larger bouquet. On the day of delivery, I received a voicemail from Avas - also giving me the wrong return phone number, telling me they had to delay my order delivery one more day because their “designer” couldn’t get it done. This is ridiculous! If I had known 3 days earlier, I would have just ordered from 1800 Flowers or someone else. Please do not purchase from them!

Also in the form it asks if it’s a business or residence. I was having them delivered to her place of work which is a city office. In the special instructions I indicated the flowers must be delivered before 5:00pm. Their form took all of my information along with my money and I am thinking this is going to be fine. The next day (Valentine's day) I get a notice that the delivery is going to be made on a Saturday. So I call their number and try to cancel the order because the city offices are closed on Saturday and the option to cancel is not accepted.

This site is a company that implies that it is local and family owned. The call center must be in some foreign country. Everyone I talked to could barely converse in English. I placed my order by phone call and they promised me and confirmed delivery the next day. I had placed my call before 10am the day before. They messed up my email confirmation. When I called to check my order the automated greeting said my order would be delivered in five days. Not next day as we discussed, triple confirmed and paid for. They have set up a site that implies it is independent, local, and family owned. Closer inspection shows many of their floral offerings are the same identical bouquets of other sites. What a scam. Multiple sites operated by the same group. Canceling my order was difficult. Also going to report this company to the Better Business Bureau.

My Aunt in Wisconsin wanted to surprise me with a flower delivery because I've been sick and she wanted to cheer me up. She called me last night and asked if I got a delivery and I told her I did not and had no idea. She was really upset because she called them that day and said they are get well flowers and the lady apparently said they would make sure to get them out right away that day. I called this morning to see what was going on and after multiple attempts through automated voice services I finally got through to someone. The lady on the phone said no one was home yesterday and they couldn't deliver them. I was home sick all day on my couch and no one knocked on my door so I was a little confused.
I also asked her why no one called my aunt to let her know they weren't able to be delivered and it was supposed to be a surprise. She said someone should've called her but apparently no one did. I just said no worries and she said someone could deliver them today and asked what time works. I told her any time after 3pm cause I might have doctor's appointments this morning. She confirmed for them to be delivered after 3 and that was that. My flowers ended up being delivered at 11:30.. I was glad that I was home to get them. I receive the flowers and they have a Happy Birthday balloon attached to them.
I told the lady on the phone several times that I was sick and they were get well flowers and my aunt told the lady on the phone the same thing yesterday....yet they sent a happy birthday balloon? Lol, I just don't understand how a company can get so many things wrong. We had a good laugh about it but we are just not even sure how they could mix that up. My sweet aunt didn't see the reviews before buying the flowers and just wanted to do something sweet for me. But we will never use this company again!

Easy to order and pay for. That's all. The flowers I ordered were never delivered, despite me receiving a delivery confirmation email (with no delivery time stamp on it, by the way). When I issued a complaint through their website, I was given a 10% refund, which was unacceptable. After several calls to customer service through a terrible phone routing system, I managed to get an email from them today claiming a full refund was being processed. We'll see, as I'm reading reviews that indicate no refunds have been issued in a timely fashion lately. Don't waste your time on this shoddy, disorganized "business". They're simply awful in every capacity.

I found this company online the day of my Mom's birthday. According to the site they indicated they were a local, family owned and operated business in the town my Mom lives. I proceeded with the order which was processed at Noon LOCAL time. I selected same day delivery and expected everything to be as such. I received email confirmations, etc. By 6pm Local time I received an email saying the order wouldn't be delivered until the following day. This is a complete fraud and I blew it on my Mom's birthday. Eliasen I was convinced this company was the real deal and would do what they said. Nope. Huge failure and fraud.

Would give ZERO Stars if given that option. Had 100% the same experience with all the other Valentine's Day orders that have been already shared here by others multiple times. AVAS took payment, confirmed order, confirmed delivery in the AM on VALENTINE'S DAY, then emailed cancellation after 5PM - too late to recover with a replacement gift from elsewhere. Very Disappointing and very embarrassing for my son to have nothing show up on a promised delivery to a new girlfriend of 3 months... You can't "Unring that Bell"!
To make matters worse, AVAS states a refund "has been processed" but will take up to 10-days to get his money back. He has not seen anything yet and I have no confidence he will, which will then escalate this complaint to a criminal complaint because the way AVAS operates appears to border on criminal activity needing a closer look by the FTC. Particularly when you profile their lack of response and total avoidance of any accountability. They have yet to respond to an inquiry email from us sent that same day (Feb 14), and I too had no success via the customer service phone #.
One can only speculate this is just an unethical REFERRAL SITE that promises the world while other reputable, honest vendors refuse your money because they cannot fill the order on a busy holiday. AVAS must just takes a stab at the 2% chance if they string you along long enough they might find a vendor to ultimately step up and fill your order and they get their commission for doing nothing... On the other hand, in the 98% chance no vendor comes through it is no skin off AVA's back, in fact, they actually get the benefit of skimming off the large sums of dollars they are holding in unfulfilled orders for the 2 weeks before they return it to the rightful owner. As they say, a snake-oil salesman is born every minute, probably every second on the internet! Can only hope the FTC can save as many unsuspecting consumers as they can as fast as they can from "Vendors" like this!

I ordered flowers for Valentine's day. I added that they could be there as late as Monday. They hadn't come by Monday but I didn't realize that. I assumed my sister got them. Today, I saw an email that my order was refunded on Friday, Valentine's day. It wasn't even the date I allowed for delivery. They didn't call me to let me know so I could have had the florist make anything she had. I called today and asked why nobody called and I was brushed off with a, "Too bad, you're refunded so there isn't a problem". They felt there wasn't an issue that they didn't honor the order. The supervisor Seth told me I could order again, at full price. I was beside myself. Needless to say, they were awful all the way around.

This company is a fraud in my opinion. I ordered flowers way before the 2pm local cut off time and was guaranteed delivery by 7pm. The flowers never arrived. My friend had surgery and her boyfriend stayed home with her the entire day to ensure he would be there for delivery only for nothing to ever get delivered. I had to place an order with another company because I could never get through to this company. The next day after struggling with their phone system I reached a rep who didnt understand that I wanted a refund and to never do business again. I am currently on hold and have been on hold for 20 min while he seeks authorization for a refund.

I ordered a dozen red roses that were advertised at about $67. The lady on the phone asked what I would like the card to say and what color of a ribbon I would like. She then told me that my order would cost about $115. She never mentioned that the card and ribbon would be add-ons at extra costs. The classic bait and switch. I told her to cancel those and I wanted the order that was advertised at about $65 for a dozen red roses. Then she quoted me a price of about $95. I asked what the extra $30 was for and she said it is a mandatory fee. Again classic bait and switch. The lady said that they would include 2 extra red roses and I asked how much for those and she said that they are a free gift from Avas Flowers. THEN the order arrived. NOT what I ordered. NOT a dozen red roses, 6 red roses and 6 pink roses, no free 2 red roses. Total bull. Avoid Avas Roses at all costs! They are crooked!

BUYER BEWARE!! This place is a complete and utter scam. Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, guaranteed same-day delivery also paid an extra $20 for delivery before 2, delivery showed up 3 days late and the order look like complete **. Tried calling to cancel order got hung up on every time by an automated machine, tried canceling order online and all I got was, "We are unable to process this request." Long story short I paid $150 for very poor quality flowers in a very quick, cheap arrangement and they delivered 3 1/2 days late to boot.

Avas Flowers is obviously a schlock contracting service with no actual flowers. They chose a schlock florist to fill the order. Use a credit card you know will back you up when you have to deny the charge. Searched for flower delivery near my zip code. Avas came up. I thought I remembered an actual Avas flower shop nearby. I was misremembering. Ordered flowers from Avas morning before Valentines Day. They took the order online with an implied same day delivery. Website stated not guaranteed, but I figured they would get here V-day. At last stage of placing the order, a $20 service fee got thrown in.
Night of order got an email stating they were delivered. Went to website & messaged not delivered. Reply was they were delivered. Called. After long pre-recorded message, got "no one is available to take your call." After multiple online messages & emails, got a phone call day after V-day from woman with Indian accent asking why I reported the flowers delivered on V-day. Obviously had no clue what was going on.

I ordered about $500 worth of flowers from AVAS last week for Valentine's Day. For my Fiance, my Mom, and two Daughters. I received an email from AVAS late Friday night canceling my order for my Mom. My Fiance and one daughter's flowers showed up three days after Valentine's Day. My other daughter's flowers have still not shown up. They agreed to deliver them on the 14th. They lied. Try to get through to customer service with this company! I left messages for callback... nothing. They simply don't care. In my opinion, they stole from me. Please, please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

Avas Flowers is the worst florist I've ever dealt with. They do not deliver as guaranteed on the invoice when you receive your confirmation email. I placed an order to be delivered on Valentines Day. I paid, received an email confirming delivery by 2pm on February 14th, and my wife did not receive the flowers on Feb. 14th. I then received a 2nd email explaining that due to the flowers I requested being out of season, they have chosen to send my wife a different bouquet, not of my choosing, and give me a $15 in store credit.
I attempted to go on-line and cancel the order, but was advised that I couldn't do that on-line. So, I called customer service to speak to someone, but was told by automated service that a customer service assistant was unavailable at the time and the automated system hung up on me. I attempted multiple calls back to customer service with the same result.
Fast forward to today. I was finally able to get a hold of someone in customer service, and he advised me that due to the busy Holiday they couldn't guarantee that my flowers would be there on Valentine's Day, although my invoice and Confirmation email said they would. I requested a full refund and he advised that the flowers were scheduled for delivery today. I advised him that this was unacceptable and wanted a full refund. He said he could only give me a full refund if the flowers weren't delivered today. I asked to speak to a supervisor.
Supervisor got on the phone, which sounded exactly like the person I was speaking g to before, and he said that he can issue a partial refund, but I would have to pay the service fee. I told him it is 4 days past the day I requested the flowers for and that this was unacceptable. I demanded a full refund to which he placed me on hold, and then hung up. I am disputing this transaction with my bank and seeking legal action against this company. I wish I had read the reviews on Consumer Affairs before ordering, because I never would have order from them with so many 1 Star Bad reviews. STAY AWAY FROM THE ILLEGITIMATE COMPANY!!!!

I have ordered flowers for 40 years and have never had this happen! I ordered flowers for hospital delivery the day before Valentine's. Bad timing but you can't help when someone has surgery. They assured me online that they would be delivered that Thursday afternoon. Friday I get an email saying that due to a circumstance beyond their control, they could not make the delivery but it would be delivered on Monday. Well, a phone call would have been preferred but I am a nice person so I went online to change it to her home address for Monday. So Monday I get an email saying the order was cancelled, they could not fulfill it and were refunding my money. What florist does this??? I am new to Huntsville so I did not know this was not a local florist but rather a big company in NJ who could care less. Never again.

I ordered flowers for my mom on her special day. I received an email confirmation and text message stating that the flower arrangement was successfully delivered. I called my mom to see if she liked them and she informed me that they never showed up (ruining the surprise). My little brother looked everywhere and even asked neighbors if it had accidentally delivered there, nothing. The next day I spoke with a customer service representative and the lady confirmed that it was delivered and signed for. Once again my little brother looked everywhere, nothing.
On the 3rd day, Avas Flowers called me and said they're sorry but the flowers were never delivered. I tried to get a refund since it was pointless to deliver them at that point and they refused to do so. Once the flower arrangements showed up to my mom's house, the vase was cracked and there were a couple roses in the vase, nothing remotely close to the picture online. I called again and customer service said management would return my call, they never did. When I called again they told me it was past 24 hours and couldn't do anything to help me. Worst customer experience ever. My recommendation is to NEVER purchase anything from Avas Flowers.

When I finally got some semblance of a response I was told that the flowers would now be delivered on Monday. I tried to cancel to no avail. Finally, informed me via email that they couldn't fulfill my order and refunded me in full, however, days later, I still have not received a refund.

I had placed an order on Thursday Feb 13 2020 to have flowers delivered to my mother for Valentine's Day, Feb 14th. She lives the next town over. I was told the flowers would be delivered the next day no problem... They NEVER were delivered. On Saturday Feb 15th (2 days later) after repeatedly calling and emailing this company with NO response I received an email saying my order was cancelled???? NO explanation, NO phone calls or emails. Just cancelled. This is soo wrong... I will NEVER use or recommend this place. It's a joke. I Wasted $79.00 for NOTHING BUT AGGRAVATION.

Try to call them today and they will not answer their phones. I did reach out on Facebook and they assure me I will be refunded. We shall see. Shady company. Do not waste your time and money.

Horrible. I ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day and they didn’t make it in time like they said it would and can’t call them because the number just hang up on you. And fins got in touch on Monday since Friday and went to transfer and they hang up. Also Friday I tried to cancel order and it said to contact them which you can’t. The flowers were delivered to my wife on Monday at one o’clock. How embarrassing to get flowers 3 days after they guaranteed delivery. Don’t use these fake ** people.

This place is a total scam. I Ordered 3 dozen long stem roses with a card and balloons and they attempted to deliver a dozen short stem, no card, no balloons. When I turned away the driver, I immediately disputed the charge. No Avas Flowers is stating they delivered, which they didn't, and they are refusing to refund the charge. Be warned, this company is a scam!!!

I almost ordered online for same day delivery on Valentine's day. Just before I put my card# in I called to verify. I had a local florist that could guaranty but they only had multi color rather than red roses. I was vehemently promised the delivery would take place by 2:00 as the recipient got off work at 2:00. As soon as we hung up I got an email confirmation of the order and it said NO GUARANTY of delivery on holidays. It could be delivered up to 4 days after. I immediately picked up the phone and called the customer service number, which did not work. Finally I spoke with someone in sales (funny how their phones work). He promised he noted the file and escalated it to a manager. Still no resolution. I was told to call back on Saturday and it would be resolved.
Saturday I called and did get customer service. The lady could barely speak English and promised to do the refund. She kept putting me on hold and only wanted to know if I was happy. She said she would email that it was cancelled and the refund processed. I never got an email. The next thing I got was a delivery confirmation for Saturday. She was not even scheduled to work over the weekend and I do not know if they were even delivered which is a moot point because they were supposed to be CANCELLED. I called again and was promised it was cancelled. Still no email. I called my credit card company to file a dispute. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I WILL NEVER advise use of AVAS (The local florist - HAHAHAHA). Yes right! NEVER. HORRIBLE... DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Let me share with you my experience with Avas Flowers. Back on February 7, 2020 I was browsing online looking at the local florists in my BF's hometown, but I realized it was too late to have any flowers delivered on Valentine's day. (My mistake, should have ordered earlier than a week before.) So as I kept Googling, Avas Flowers website came up, and upon clicking into it, it appeared as if Avas Flowers was a floral shop in my BF's town, and even had a map to prove it! So I found a proper arrangement made of his favorite flowers, and I was able to choose the delivery date as Valentine's day! I was super happy and quite excited to send him a Vday surprise!
Now here's when it all went downhill. Within 5 minutes of placing my order, I received an email from Avas Flowers stating "Due to high demand, the arrangement you purchased is out of stock & we will be upgrading you to 2 dozen roses in instead. If you would like to further discuss this resolution please give us a call..." Honestly, I didn't think anything of it because I saw the word upgrade and thought 'Okay, that's fine.'
Then the following Monday (Feb. 10, 2020) I received an email saying that my order had shipped via UPS. I was really confused because I was under the impression that this was a local florist in my BF's hometown, but upon doing some research I found out the real warehouse was in New Jersey, over 1,300 miles away! Now at this point, I was really confused because of the way the website was displaying false information, but seeing that Vday was only 4 days away, and I live 8 hours away from him, there was nothing I could do. So I let the cards play out.
Skip ahead to Thursday (Feb. 13, 2020), I receive an email notification from UPS stating that the flowers were out for delivery. "Delivery!?" I immediately felt slight panic because I placed my order and chose Vday specifically. Upon looking on their website, they had changed my shipping date to 2/13 instead of 2/14 but I didn't notice originally. "Well, that's not what I wanted, but I can't do anything." So I texted my BF and told him a surprise would be delivered today, so keep your eyes peeled!
A couple of hours later, I received a photo from my BF of a bright red bouquet of roses in a vase that he had just got. I thought they looked great and he was super happy! End of story, right? WRONG! Later that night we were Facetiming and I had informed him on the back story of those flowers and he informed me that actually, what he didn't show me in the photo was that when he had opened the box of flowers, that half of the bouquet had actually wilted and fallen apart in the box, but he didn't wanna say anything and make me feel bad (which it didn't, because it wasn't my fault they were wilted and broken, but I digress.) Skip ahead to Saturday (Feb. 15, 2020) (2 days after receiving the flowers) and he sends me 3 photos of his bouquet and the roses had wilted, a lot had fallen apart, & they began putting off a putrid smell that was very displeasing. This is when I had enough.
I emailed Avas Flowers explaining what had happened and demanded a refund because of the expectation not being met from the product they were selling on their website compared to what my BF had received. I received a response on Sunday (Feb. 16, 2020) asking me to call to resolve the issue. So I did, and in short they stated that they would not issue a refund but would in turn re-ship some more flowers. I replied back demanding a refund because "I do not want more flowers, I want my money back because you did not properly supply what I was initially sold, and if you can't help me, please direct my call to a supervisor who can help me."
I was then placed on hold for 15 minutes followed by being hung up on by their automated hold system. I immediately called back and asked to speak to the supervisor. The rep on the phone stated that she can't issue a refund but can only re-ship, and if I speak to a supervisor they will say the same thing. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. The rep put me on hold for another 10 minutes and came back stating that she can issue a refund for half of the original order. I was livid at this point and demanded a full refund and to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold AGAIN for another 10 minutes and came back saying that she will issue a refund for the full amount, and apologized for the mistake in the order.
So with all that being said, I recommend that you, DO NOT order from this company. From the other reviews on here plus mine, I believe it is safe to say that this company is not legit, and will not able to supply any type of flowers except roses, and you will not be guaranteed that they are high quality. Save your money and use a local florist, even if you can't get the flowers delivered on your desired day.

I am a repeat customer for Avas Flowers' delivery service. Don't be fooled by the bad reviews. Their webpage is clunky, like it was made by a A-high-school student. But it's for ordering flowers, not plane tickets, so whatever. My deliveries have always gotten where I needed them to, and on time. Their chocolates are kinda meh, but it's the thought that counts, right? Also, they deliver to military bases.

This place is by far the worst place I have ever ordered a bouquet of flowers from. They will scam you into believing that your flowers will arrive on a specific date and then not deliver them. Instead they will choose another day to deliver them. Then when you try to get a refund they say that they don't issue refunds. Buyer beware!!

We ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. They advertise same day delivery. Yet no flowers were delivered. When we checked the status of the delivery on February 15th, it said on the website that it was out for a delivery and that there was no delivery status available. We called customer service and you never actually get to talk to a real person. Instead after a long hold, it said the only way to talk to a customer service Representative is to choose a callback time. We chose a callback time YET nobody called us.
On February 16, which is today, we called customer service again and were given the runaround (press 1 for blah blah, press 2, etc) and never actually spoke to anyone. When we checked the status of the flower delivery it now stated that it was delivered on February 14. Yet yesterday on February 15, it read the status as out for re-delivery. This is a scam. I’m wonder If this is even a real business. I’ve written to them on Facebook and nothing - please don’t waste your time and money and frustration.

My husband ordered flowers for our daughter online. He discovered later in reading the confirmation email that the date had changed and that the delivery address was not correct. He contacted the company and modified. The flowers were not delivered on 2/14. The flowers were delivered on 2/15...to our address, not our daughter's. We live almost 1000 miles away. We called and emailed the company numerous times. Upon finally talking to someone the afternoon of the 15th, she assured us that the mistake was theirs and that flowers would be delivered to our daughter by the end of the day on the 15th. They were not. We spoke with customer service today. The agent was lacking manners and stated that there was nothing further she could do. Worst customer service I have encountered in quite some time. Shop elsewhere! One star was generous!

Extremely dissatisfied with this company. I placed an order for 4 different sets for flowers for my adult daughters (out of town) late for Valentine’s Day. I certainly understood it my order was late in the game (on 2/13) but this site was the one the “guaranteed” they would get deliveries made on Valentine’s Day. Indeed, the ONLY reason I ordered from them and paid their premium price (compared to others) was the ability to get them timely delivered.
Not one of the them was delivered on time. In fact, one of them that their own site still says was to be delivered yesterday still has not been delivered. I don’t really care about the store credit they offered on only 1 order (They won’t be frying my business again) and the fact that 3 of the 4 were delivered late (today), I’m upset that they even suggested they could timely deliver when that obviously was totally false. The other sites I considered today me they couldn’t promise delivery and that’s the whole reason I bought these items. The reason the day was a big deal to me is that I wanted to provide my adult daughters with valentines flowers because their older sister had died in the last year and when they were all kids, I used to do valentines flowers every year for all of them. Shame on this company. They misrepresent and don’t live up to their word. Learn from my mistake in ordering from this company. Don’t do it.

Received an email stating flowers were delivered when they weren't .. Customer service obviously offshore - trained to apologize but do nothing. Of course flowers were for Valentine's Day.. Delivery was supposed to be for Feb 12.. After complaining they said another arrangement would be delivered next day. Received a call Saturday night at 10pm the 15th saying delivery would be Monday or Tuesday. Then received an email saying that delivery is NOT guaranteed for major holidays. Again it’s Valentine day’s ordeal. You buy flowers, you hope they will be delivered on time. And you are wrong. Yes it’s written in the fine scripts that they can’t guarantee delivery on holidays... well guess what? February 15 is not Valentine’s Day. (It hasn’t been delivered yet and now it’s February 16 almost). I would suggest not to use Avas flowers if you are buying flowers for a holiday... and/or any other time for that matter...The best thing about this issue is the customer service phone number they supplied is either disconnected or not working! I ordered flowers on 2/10 to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. As I am in Ct and the delivery was in Hi, I checked at 9 pm EST and learned from an email that they canceled the order and refunded my charge just hours prior. No reason, no anything. I would have at least expected any excuse, “we need to substitute, we will del a day late”, nothing. I called the florist that they were going through and as far as I can tell, the florist never received an order. Forget about calling Avas Flowers, they have possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced, or should I say customer nonservice. In retrospect, my fault for not reading reviews beforehand, unbelievable how bad this company is. I guess I’m lucky they refunded my charge account.

If I could give this place -1000 stars I would. Ordered my daughter flowers for Valentine's Day and nothing showed up. Tried to contact the service department and got a recording and then “sorry all agents are busy goodbye”. If you cannot fulfill the deliveries then don’t take the orders. Had to dispute the charge through my bank because I still can’t reach customer service. I would absolutely recommend that you DON'T use this flower shop. They shouldn’t even be in business. Sad part about it is I ordered way in advance so my daughter could have a wonderful Valentine’s Day. What a real disappointment.

Believe it or not, my flowers were not delivered.
These were for Valentine's Day. The customer service representative directed me to their Holiday Delivery policy which states that they cannot guarantee delivery on a holiday. I just went through the order process again after the fact and this information is not available to you throughout the order process, only after you've placed your order, and don't receive it, do you find this information. This is a dishonest company.
After much time on the automated system, I finally spoke with Victor who told me the flowers were attempted to be delivered and they reached out to the recipient's phone number. This is not true, no one reached out to my wife, as can been seen in her call and text history. I tried to cancel the order but they say since we weren't there to receive it there's nothing they can do. But the product was never delivered and no one reached out to us. This is a scam and they're stealing money from people. They delete all comments on their instagram posts from people like myself trying to simply get the product they paid for.

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife on Valentine's Day for $100. The delivery day was open for selection and they say same day delivery. The flowers were never delivered! I tried to cancel online and it wouldn’t go through. It said to talk with customer service, so I called. I went through about 10 minutes of departments etc. I never talked to a person. Every time it said push this to talk to an agent, it said I’m sorry, no agent is available and hung up. The website has many links but you get back in a circle back to the phone number. Worst company for flower delivery! I’m out $100 and my wife is mad at me. If you want flowers delivered, talk to a local florist in your area directly. Trust me, don’t deal with online third parties. Especially this crap of a company! Someone needs to shut them down for fraudulent activity!

Worst florist experience ever. Sounds like a sale and free delivery then they hit you with last minute huge service fees and other hidden fees then they never delivered the flowers and never told me they would not until it was too late to make other arrangements. Bad enough to be charged $70 for a $15 plant but even worse when they never even deliver it or let you know it will never arrive. Ruined the holiday. Worse than not ordering flowers at all to take the time and expect it is taken care of then find out after the fact they dropped the ball with no heads up. As most other reviews indicate this is a very bad business and should not be used or allowed to continue to conduct business. Even try to scam you into so called offers of up to $100 free after your purchase which are magazine sale scams and the like. Lowest of the low and worst of the worst in the flower business or any business.

I wish I could just post pictures to explain my experience of the service I received. I sent flowers to my mother on Valentine's and I when I seen the flowers she got I immediately felt like I was robbed, not once, but twice because I also had flowers sent to a girl that I like and if my mother got that crap as the Deluxe package I can't even imagine what the girl received. That's if the girl even received them because work the morning shift and the confirmation was sent after 5pm.
I paid for delivery before 10am for that very important reason; keep in mind that this is VALENTINE'S DAY and my order was placed on the 10th, so that's 3 days in advance, no phone calls or nothing. This is quite the first impression to be putting on a potential future wife. This is my first time taking time to give a review (Good or Bad) and I wouldn't order from this company again even if it was free. The people placing my order were the only good experience from this, but it only makes it feel like it was apart of the robbery. My mother seen the picture of the flowers she was supposed to have gotten and said, "Wow son I understand your point." She sounded like she would've been happier with just the picture. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

This is the worse flower service I have ever encountered. Totally ruined my wife's Valentine's Day. I ordered the flowers on the 13th to be delivered on the 14th after 2 pm. On the 14th with no correspondence. I called customer service and all I could get was "don't know". I then changed the delivery address and 20 minutes later received an email that the arrangement I ordered was not available and that I would get an in store credit of $15. I make 300k a year. I could care less about $15. How much is the let down my wife of 26 years. You people are the worst. Can't get through to customer service, customer service does not know what's going on. Updated on 02/17/2020: Update to my last review. The flowers were not delivered on 2/15 I called them and they said they tried to deliver to my wife but no one was home. I said that's strange because she's in a hospital and they are open 24/7. Then the guy "John" said oh wait they tried to deliver on 2/14 but they couldn't find the residence. Again I said, "Well it's a huge hospital. I'm not sure what you're saying. In addition I provided you with my wife's phone number and no one called her." I then said, "My receipt says delivery 2/14, your email says 2/15 and now it's 2/16 and still no flowers." I told him, "I wanted my money back," and he hung up on me. I called my credit card and disputed the charge. 5 hours later the flowers showed up at the front desk. Never I repeat never use this company!!
Original Review: This company is a scam. I paid $120 to have flowers delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day in Florida. The flowers didn't arrive on Valentine's Day. I called the company and they repeatedly hung up on me. I called the support line and they said that no one was there to take my call and I was disconnected. I called the sales line and was hung up multiple times by a variety of different people. The order form clearly stated 2/14. Today when I checked the website my order was still listed for 2/14 but the delivery date was posted by them as 2/15 which is obviously not what I ordered. When you call for help they hang up on you after waiting on hold for 15 minutes multiple times.

He contacted customer service. Was told driver said he’d deliver by 4 pm. That hr came and went still nothing. Then was told the order was to be delivered the next day.... Still nothing. Next day being told it's to deliver Monday after Valentine’s which is pointless by then. Tried canceling the order since being lied to and given the runaround and told there’s a $22 fee to cancel. I ordered a bouquet delivery online to be delivered to my wife's place of business, a local surgery center. The ad made it sound as if this was a local, family owned company that offered "free delivery". I ordered the bouquet to be delivered on Valentine's Day. My wife enjoys the attention from her co-workers when she gets flowers at work. The order was placed on the Wednesday before V day. When I got to check-out and entered the Free delivery code they credited the fee but, when I asked for a delivery before 2pm the site indicated a "rush" fee of $9. OK, so I went forward with the check-out because I had already spent 20 minutes filling out all of the info and CC number, etc. When the final total came up, the $9 "Rush" fee morphed into $19. So, now the free delivery, "lower priced" deal ends up at the same cost as the other national flower rip-offs.
AS it turns out, they delivered the bouquet at 4pm WEDNESDAY instead of before 2PM Friday(V-Day). My wife wasn't there when they delivered it and it sat there until she came in a day later. I tried for 1 1/2 hours to navigate their customer-no=service website to no avail. The site would not accept the order number. Then I tried phone. Five times I was redirected to the same menu that wouldn't accept the order number. I then made three separate calls to the "sales" line in an attempt to speak to a human. They actually said to me "better early than not at all." I could have lived with the early delivery had they not been so smug and hard to contact but I DID want a refund of the extra delivery charges, After another 30 minutes on the phone, I was offered a credit for future purchase, like I would ever do business with them again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I'm disputing the charges with VISA now for a full refund.

This company tells you if you need to cancel it must be done within 24 hours or you cannot get a refund. Then they say they will deliver within 24 hours but don't actually deliver until 3-4 days later. That way when you call to cancel it's already PAST the 24 hour cancellation time. The local florist who finally delivered told me Ava's takes $25 off the top immediately and then orders something of less value than what you are paying for. Then, the local florist puts it on the back burner for delivery because it is always a lesser price order item. The quality you order from the Ava's picture will never be the same as what is received. LESSON - When you order flowers, be sure to look up the local florists in the area you are sending to and be sure you're calling a local PN not an 800 or other toll free PN. You will always get a reputable florist when you do a little research and shop local to the delivery area.

If I could give half a star I would! I ordered flowers for my niece on Friday! Saturday I got an email saying they were delivered! They were not! I called and they said they were delivered. When they checked she came back and said they don’t deliver to that area! Why couldn’t they tell me when they took the order! Fast forward to Monday am.. still no flowers! I call again! They sent the order to another “designer” but wouldn’t tell me who! I tried to cancel the order they wouldn’t let me because so much time has passed since I placed the order! EXACTLY! And still not delivery!
They guaranteed they would be delivered Monday! Again no delivery! I call again Tues am. They can’t get ahold of the “designer” but will call me when they do! They never called back! 1:00pm I call again! They again say they will be delivered today! For my trouble they gave me $20 off my next order! Lol I told them keep it I will never order from you again! I told them if it had been for a birthday I’d look like an asshole sending them a week later! So much for same day delivery! 5 days later and still no flowers! If they don’t get delivered today I will be having a meltdown!!!

Did not get what I ordered! I ordered a plant basket from Avas flowers for a funeral out of state to be del. on 1/24. Their reviews looked good. Got a call on 1/25 what I ordered was out of stock. Offered me an orchid. I said NO. Orchid was sent anyway. Email just said item delivered. Found out and called. Told I was too late for a refund. Offered a plant or 20% refund. Not Happy!

It seems everyone reviewing this Florist has had the same issues... not getting what they paid for, extremely poor customer service and little to no accountability for either. You may think you are ordering from a local florist but that couldn’t be further from the truth. No reputable local florist would risk their reputation by providing such abysmal service. All the reviews are eerily similar so my bad experience was not a fluke. It’s their standard operating procedure! Buyer beware. No matter how good the deal looks it is a rip off!

Somebody I know was trying to do a very nice gesture. Flowers were delivered as ordered but were dead an two days. I tried not to call the person who sent them to me because I felt bad to ask them to call and I couldn’t get an order number so I finally called again and they said it was past 24 hours. She was rude. Couldn’t even understand her. I asked for a supervisor and she said have the person who sent them call and hung up on me. I had brain surgery. What nerve to upset a customer under these circumstances. Someone should have come to the phone to resolve this matter. I’ll never use this company. I am filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Ordered Thursday and selected a Friday Morning. They emailed me twice telling me to call about details about my arrangement. And when I called I was told “they have other things to do.” Delivery will happen Saturday morning property. 2:00 Saturday and the flowers are still not delivered. There was a death in the family and flowers were the least I could do.. The least you could do is to deliver when you say you will, not once but twice. Offered me a measly 6$ for my inconvenience will NEVER order from here again, I should have read the reviews.. Do your research and don’t get burned like I did. Thousands of people have 1 star reviews I see why. Thank you Avas for letting myself and others down. The flowers weren’t cheap either.

I went on Avas website and ordered a "Happy Birthday" arrangement for my boyfriend. This included the "You're An Angel" flower set, a card, and a "happy birthday" balloon. This altogether costed me $65. On the site, I was told I would receive same day delivery to the address. However, after placing the order I went to track it to see how long it would be until it got to its destination. The site then said that it was not scheduled for delivery until today (the 8th) when it had previously told me, before paying, that it would be delivered yesterday (the 7th). I instantly went to their online services to try and cancel my order. I tried three times and was told that my request could not be completed at that time, each time. I was at work and could not call their hotline yesterday so I did today. I called and had to listen to 10 minutes of automated messaging before I talked to an actual person.
When I was finally able to talk to an actual person they told me my request could not be completed because the arrangement was already made and was scheduled for delivery before 2 p.m. today. I informed the woman that nobody would be at that address because it is a daycare and they are not open today. She then said "Sorry" and told me that I could not cancel my order because it had already been made. I then proceed to tell her that I was unhappy because I had tried to cancel my order less than an hour after making it the previous day and was told the same thing. She continued to say "sorry" and basically tell me there is nothing that can be done about it. She said that the arrangement is getting delivered today before 2 p.m. to the address I put online. Upon reading other reviews, I doubt this will happen but we will see. Overall, my experience has been a pretty big headache and I would not recommend ordering from Avas.

I ordered flowers from Avas on Feb 5th 2020. The agent said that the flowers would be delivered that afternoon, the flowers never were delivered. The next morning in conversation with the avas agent I was told that they would be delivered for sure by the afternoon on Feb 6th, again the flowers never showed up. When we called to find out what the story was we decided that we wanted a full refund because there was no delivery. The agent hung up the phone on me.
So I called my credit card company to ask them about disputing the charges which they are in the process of doing now. Even though avas flowers does not know of the charges being disputed the flowers still have not been delivered. It is now Friday Feb 7 at 6:00pm. Even though there is a policy of 100% guarantee if not satisfied, the avas people could care less. MY BEST ADVICE TO ALL IS NOT TO PURCHASE FLOWERS FROM AVAS FLOWERS.COM. I ordered an arrangement for my mother's birthday. The shape of the arrangement was very compact and the colors were purple, which is her favorite color. What she received looked nothing like the picture. I understand that flowers may need to be substituted, but that they said they try to keep the basic shape of bouquet the same shape. This was no where near the same.
When I complained this is the response I received: "Upon reviewing the arrangement that you ordered and confirming with the designer, we have determined that the flowers sent are within the recipe and guidelines that the bouquet called for, in the size that you ordered. If any minor substitutions were made, they fall within our Substitution Policy guidelines. Therefore, your order meets the product description. Please note that due to perishability, seasonality, and natural variety of flowers, the photo displayed on line a depiction of an arrangement that we will make as similar as possible with the same look and feel rather than an exact representation. In addition, our Product Description located next to the photo also states this so as to ensure that our customers’ expectations are properly met." They gave me a 20% refund and said sorry. Wish I had read the reviews before using this company.

I never write reviews but I was so disappointed & upset I just had to. I ordered flowers a week before they needed to be delivered to ensure no issues. The day of they were never delivered. I was not notified & only found out once I called them to see what happened. They had no answer for me, stated that their "flower design" shops were closed & best they could offer was to try the next day. Okay, fine, fast forward to the next day & my family member has still not received them. I called @ 11 am to get status & was told they can not reach the "flower designer". I called again @ 2 pm and again @ 4 pm & was told the same thing every time. It was a birthday for a family member that is suffering from a life threatening illness & may not get another birthday & I can not get that day back & the small part I did to try to make it special was ruined by this company.

I choose Avas Flowers because I was looking for a florist that was local in a small town and that could offer one day service. Avas website alluded to both. I ordered a $100 bouquet on Saturday. Website said it would be delivered before 2pm. When I arrived from out of state on Saturday evening the flowers had not been delivered. My receipt of order on the computer said delivery could not be guaranteed. I then assumed delivery would be on Monday, the day of the funeral. On Monday morning I attempted to call Avas to verify delivery to no avail. I tried to email and the email was rejected. The flowers were delivered on Tuesday afternoon. Family and guests were no longer gathered having departed Monday night. Flowers were locally donated for which I am thankful.
My word of warning for customers of Avas Florist... Be sure in the midst of your distress, that you have ample time to explore the fine print.... I did not find it until I was exploring where I could leave a complaint. Point being not all information if readily seen when placing your order. Be aware that because the site will accept your order and date of delivery does not necessarily mean that will be done. You need to find the fine print to learn of what the real delivery time will be.
Bottom line is that they will accept any order and date and your money and in the end it is your tough luck if it does not meet the parameters. I give Avas Florist one star because they did call me after I left a note on their website on Wednesday of my dissatisfaction. Will I ever order from them again.... Absolutely not. Order should have been rejected since they could not deliver and phone call with message availability and email should have been possible. In the end, dealing with a call helpline that I'm not even sure is in the U.S, but what I do know they were not equipped to handle a difficult situation. Their resolution was a $10.00 credit. Insulting!!!

I paid 80$ for a bouquet on Avas Flowers. The driver didn’t try to find my wife. We had to drive 10 miles to pick up a tiny bouquet that looked nothing like what I paid for. I called them and said I wanted a refund because not only did the driver blow the surprise but I didn’t get what was advertised. They called me and told me they would discount a future purchase but the florist followed the instructions. I didn’t even have words. I have pictures to show how much different it is. After arguing they said they would refund 15$ on an 80$ purchase they ruined. Shop somewhere else.

Website promised same day service in my area and I placed an order and received a confirmation that it was scheduled to be delivered that day. After repeatedly checking the website with my order number there were no status updates. I tried calling but it's all automated and no one available to speak with me. This morning I checked status again and it still said no status update and a new message appeared that I could submit an inquiry as to the whereabouts of my order. So I submitted an inquiry and an hour and a half later I received a call that my order was just delivered! The woman on the phone said I had missed the "cut-off time" yesterday even though no cut-off time was listed on the website and the email confirmation I received confirmed that my item was scheduled to be delivered the same day. At no time did I receive a call or an email with a new or rescheduled delivery date.

Monday 2/3/2020 I ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered same day to my girls place of business. 1 dozen long stem roses, the greens stuff, baby’s breath a bow and a RED vase. $107 Dollars. The lady who took my order was great. Then the mess began. Avas did not meet the delivery schedule and couldn’t give me answers. Finally talked to someone Tuesday morning and she seemed agitatedly while I had to give the special instructions again.
When my girl received the arrangement she took a picture and sent it to me. Thanking me. (I will never tell her this story). Problem is; what she received was HALF a dozen roses, the green leaves, NO baby’s breath, NO bow and a CLEAR vase (not red). I talked to two different customer service reps at AVAS and both said they’d get back to me. One insinuated I was not telling the truth. From now on I will never purchase or trust these large companies. I will call the local florist directly. I feel cheated out of $107 dollars.

I ordered flowers for a memorial service on-line. I paid a $16 service fee to ensure the flowers would arrive to my Mother-in-Law's memorial the next day. The flowers did not arrive. I called customer service three times because the customer service rep disconnected me twice while trying to track down the order. Each time you have to listen to a 5 minute pre-recorded message about the business. They offered to refund me 10% of my order ($7) for my inconvenience (less than the service charge for the next day delivery) and did not get the flowers to the memorial. Worst customer service ever!. I ordered from AVAS because they had good review and were family owned and local. I will never order from them again. Buyer beware; the good reviews are not accurate. I'm sticking with FTD and Teleflora next time (which were both cheaper when I was looking for flowers).

I ordered flowers online thinking I was dealing with a local company. The website is very misleading. I ordered the flowers on a Thursday requesting next day delivery. I received an email the next day telling me there was an issue with my order and to call. I called and they told me that there was an emergency with the local florist (this is when I find out I was not dealing with a local company), and my flowers would not be able to be delivered that day. I then received another e-mail telling me that my order would in fact be delivered that day.
Flowers were not delivered Friday. Friday evening I receive an email telling me sorry about the confusion and they will deliver the flowers the next day, and they are giving me money off my next order. The next day (Saturday) at 11am I receive an email saying my flowers have been delivered. They were NEVER delivered. I start calling and emailing that night requesting someone talk to me. I never hear back. Monday I call and they tell me they will contact my local florist and find out what is wrong, said they will send an email. This never happened.
Needless to say two days of arguing and trying to reach someone who can help and they end up sending me an email with a picture of a signature trying to prove that the flowers were delivered. Little do they know the name on the flowers was for a child. A child that has broken her leg and is not walking, a child who cannot answer the door let alone sign for flowers. This is fraud. I am beyond upset. I gave them two options. One is to actually deliver the flowers or give me my money back. They will not do either. Worst experience I have ever had with a company. I went online and read the reviews AFTER it was too late, but there are pages and pages of terrible reviews. I have started with the BBB. I have never written a complaint in all my years of doing business with various companies. This is a first, because this was the worst!

On 1/31/20 I ordered flowers to be delivered on 2/1/20. They sent an email telling me they were delivered when in fact they were not delivered. The person was home all day so It wasn’t like she went out and missed the delivery. I sent them a notice 3 different times on 2/2/20. Again sent notice on 2/3. They finally called me with no explanation and assured me it would be delivered on this day. They did not deliverer the flowers. I called them and once again they assured me they would be delivered 2/4. I will never use Avas flowers again. Not even sure they’ll be delivered at all. Daughters flowers never delivered even though I received a confirmation e-mail of delivery. Called SEVERAL times to receive a credit refund. Each time, different 'make believe' supervisor gets on phone assures me it's being taken care of. Silly me (my big mistake) to assume because they popped up first on internet search they must have been reliable. NOPE. Last phone call I made today before phoning my bank, I was left on hold for over an hour, finally, someone must have thought I hung up. NOPE, I was still there but now I could hear the conversations in the background. A lot of unrecognizable chatter and children running around making noise. If you go to BBB, there is an ACTIVE ALERT on their site regarding AVAS. RUN!!!! Change your credit card number ASAP if you have provided it to them. If I could have chosen a negative -5 star I would.

Just a warning to all. When you order online they show you a total cost. Then AFTER you enter your billing info and agree, they add a $17 service fee that is not disclosed prior. When I called to immediately cancel the order I was told they would cancel but still keep the service fee because it was for keeping the flowers "fresh" and for the same day delivery, which was not a requirement. They eventually offered a 4 dollar reduction off the fee but it was not processed. After fuming, I called back find out why they couldn't cancel it completely. That agent offered me $8 reduction in fee. Then I got lost in an eternal hold pattern. I have no idea what the flowers will look like. Perhaps they will be half dead to reflect the discount. The third agent agreed to the same reduction based on a next day delivery. This company is just a service center frontman. You should deal directly with a local florist by just calling them directly. You'll be happier.

I placed an order for a bouquet to be delivered to a friend whose grandmother had passed away. Received an email stating the bouquet I wanted could not be delivered due to flowers in the arrangement were out of season. They were going to substitute with a different bouquet which I did not like so called them to select a different bouquet. I made a another selection to be delivered. My friend received a completely different bouquet than what I had ordered. The flowers were not well arranged, looked like someone just stuffed them in a vase to be delivered. The most hideous arrangement. I called to complain. The flowers I ordered were not the bouquet delivered. They stated there was a mix up in the order and would have my second selection delivered today and I would not be charged for both bouquets.

Ordered a plant for my niece and nephew on January 17, 2020 who just moved into their new home, wanted so much to surprise them, little did I know the plant never was delivered... I received an email from Avas stating they attempted delivery which is untrue as both my niece and nephew were home. So again they attempted, the 2nd delivery on Saturday the 18th both were home and Avas stated they put a "we missed you note on the door"- untrue...
1/23/2020 I called and was given the address and name of company they outsourced for the plant. My nephew went to pick it up at the address they gave. The florist MOVED! So I call again today January 29th to only be told by customer service rep they are still going to charge me as they attempted to deliver twice! I just wanted to Cancel the order and be refunded, Ask to speak with a supervisor and was kept on hold of 30 minutes and rep returned and said the supervisor was busy... What!! They don't even deserve 1 star.

I ordered a plant two days ago, the charge was deducted from my credit card, but no plant has been delivered. I have tried to contact the company by e-mail, but have no response. I have spent hours on the phone (three calls yesterday and so far one today) and have been told they would get back to me. After plowing through maze of transfers I spoke to Ivan, who transferred me to Sebastian, then Sebastian transferred me to Ivan, back and forth with long waits on hold in between. So far I am still charged for an undelivered plant.

My best friend died. Her favourite colour is purple. I ordered from Avas Flowers only because they have a purple pleasure bouquet and I sent this bouquet to her 13 year old daughter. The flowers were delivered as promised. Her daughter sent me a photo of the flowers. They were pretty, but they were not purple. They sent me an email asking about my experience. I typed exactly what I typed here. They responded with, “since your response wasn’t within 24 hours we will only give you $15 on your future order.” The flowers you order in the photo are not the ones that will be delivered!

I ordered a bouquet to be delivered. They asked if I wanted to get a specific delivery time. I asked for 10:30am. No problem. Day of delivery...11:00 not there. I call to find out what is going on. They tell me it is on the truck. At 2:30, still not delivered. Recipient is ready to go home. They tell me, "We don't guarantee delivery times." I went off. Cancelled charge on my card. Short notice order delivered on time as requested. But flowers did not mix photography of what was order on website. Flower vase pictured was purple, but what was received was pink. Accent arrangements was purple in photograph, but what was delivered was pink. I was NOT HAPPY with the arrangement by Aunt received, because it was not purple as in the photograph I ordered online. I bought a funeral arrangement to be delivered 2 hrs from my home. I arrived at wake at 5 pm and saw awful flowers. Dead flowers, didn’t resemble online photo at all. Instead of big white pom pom mums, there were very small 3 to a stem size ones. Very few other small flowers. You saw mostly green ferns shoved in there. Instead of the triangle shape, there was no shape. It looked like a child put a few old flowers into some foam. The next day I drove 2 hrs back for funeral. On third day I called Avas and told them I have a picture dated the day of the delivery. They told me to email it. I did and they said, "Sorry you are outside the 24 hr complaint window." They gave me a $15 credit for next purchase. I definitely will not be purchasing from them again.

Updated on 01/23/2020: So I wrote a review yesterday very upset and disappointed in the service as they guaranteed delivery and it did not arrive and was not rescheduled for re-delivery until two days after the actual birthday, turns out it showed up a day late and I was sent a photo of the little girl with her gift and even more disappointing was it was not the teddy bear and rose I paid for but a whole other arrangement of flowers.
Original Review: I ordered a teddy bear and rose for guaranteed delivery for a young lady's birthday and they never arrived so I called, and the best they could do was set up delivery again for two days later. Meanwhile it's really sad that she didn't get her surprise nor did they want to refund even a portion of the cost without me having to talk to 3 different representatives.

I am Working out of state and not Able to make it home from my 27th anniversary. I ordered flowers because they came up 1st on the search review. I ordered these flowers 10 days before my anniversary. Never received an email update nor a phone call. I called them 3 × to make sure it was set up. The flowers were to arrive at my wife's work. The day of delivery I called 3 × to get a status update. Not once were they able to give it to me. At 7:30 the evening of delivery nothing has arrived. They told me though probably arrive tomorrow no big deal. Really? No big deal says my 27th year anniversary. I'm thousands of miles away and there's nothing for my wife. Very disrespectful, uncaring and absolutely not a local company! The worst experience I've ever had. Do not use this company if you have a timeline.

I ordered a plant for an employee who had a death in the family. They assured me next day delivery. When I spoke with my employee a week later he said he never received the plant. I called the company and was told that the plant was to be delivered that day. There was an issue with the designer and therefore unable to fulfill the order. If I had not called they would have kept my money and never delivered a product. I used them once before and I did not check if they received the item, I did not receive a thank you card so I'm now assuming that could have been the same scenario. I will never order from this company again.

I ordered a nice satin and lace cross with pink roses and was told this would be done and would include small amount of baby breath and greens and delivered within 1 hour before viewing and service. A small heart no trim with various colored flowers were brought to funeral home 20 minutes after service began. I called Avas # and was told they would get with florist on phone to see what happened and I never heard back. Also they charge a $18.95 charge to ensure freshness of flowers???? An advertised 42.99 arrangement wound up being $72.96 from my bank account. Think they are horrible. Will never use again and would recommend no one else too either!!! Will report to BBB as well.

Ordered baby flower arrangement over $100. on Sat. 2/18 to Oshner Hospital New Orleans. Received notice they would be delivered Sunday 2/19. The flowers were not delivered Sun. Received notice that they were delivered on Monday but they were not there when the recipients left the hospital at 4:00 pm, Now it is Tuesday, they are home, and as of 6:00 pm, there are no flowers. Called to cancel order and receive a refund and am told they can not confirm that flowers were not!?! The momentum is over and I just want a refund! I don’t care where the flowers are. I normally perform due diligence on companies before I order online. In this case the companies generated reviews were all positive but after my terrible experience upon further review the social media reviews were more in line with my experience. I ordered a combination flowers and premium food gift basket to be delivered to my fiancees hospital staff. These gifts were sent to brighten and honor the efforts of medical personnel who perform this never ending task of caring even a more critical task over the holidays. The premium food basket was supposed to be meat, cheeses, fruit and crackers of a premium quality.
Here is what I received: It delivered in a basket bought at a Ralph's supermarket. It contained Kroger brand cheddar cheese, Ralph's brand crackers and oranges, apples and pears; with the Ralph's sku tags still attached. More upsetting; a greeting card I requested that had no greeting but for some terrible ridiculous reason had instead some typing showing the price I paid for this ridiculous poorly assembled gift that was probably worth 80% less than what I paid for it.
Lets not forget the premium bouquet of flowers; They never arrived!!!! When I called AVA's to complain I was told that they indeed delivered but when I talked to the front desk person who I know, she indicated that no flowers were ever delivered. Embarrassing and terrible experience. I complained to my credit card company and to AVA's and in the end instead of receiving a full refund as I requested I received back; are you ready for this...$3.93!!!! Oh... and the flowers arrived 3 days later!!!! My suggestion based on this experience and written and picture taking proof of this horrible experience is do not buy from this vendor ever, period!

I ordered a birthday arrangement with a balloon on a Saturday afternoon for a good friend's 60th birthday on Monday. The company was recommended to me, and their website said "Same day delivery". Monday AM, I received an email requesting I call, there was an issue with my order. I was told they couldn't provide the exact flowers I ordered online and would I agree to a fairly close substitution, which I agree to. Tuesday morning I had to call the company because my friend never notified me about receiving her flowers. I was put on hold 6 times and transferred 7 times, before I was told there had been an issue with the delivery truck and the flowers were never delivered.
When I asked why wasn't I notified of this, they said they weren't notified either and it was out of their control. I was given a 15% discount, an arrangement upgrade but couldn't be delivered until Wednesday. I agreed to this, but told them I would never use their services again. The upgraded arrangement was very nice, but it was 2 days late, and a total lack of communication.
