"I received two relatively inexpensive items that I didn't want from two separate orders. Amazon gave me one return label for both products. I packaged and returned the items, received my refund, and believed it was finished. Weeks later, I received an email that they hadn't received one of the items. I checked online and both items were marked as received. Weeks later I received another email that Amazon hadn't received one of the items and was charging me for it. Online, the status of that item had been changed back to "In Transit". Tried to contact a customer representative. It was difficult to find a way, and I never got through to anybody. I haven't got all day to wait and fight with them over it, so I guess they'll keep the thirty-something dollars, but they'll never get another order out of me."

I have been ordering from Amazon forever it seems. I just purchased 2 Honda Generators and a lot of accessories for them. Some of my orders to my home are for thousands of dollars and I get a little nervous when UPS drops my generators without ringing the doorbell! That’s not AMAZON'S fault of course. Amazon does a fantastic job of speedy, very easy ordering on their website. The site is a work of art in that it just works right every order I place! I love Amazon and I think Jeff Bezos is under appreciated!
Talk about how easy it is to return….say a pair of shoes that don’t fit right….just put them back outside your door and they are whisked away back to Amazon and you are refunded immediately! Amazon prices must be scrutinized and compared to get the best prices. But I pay less than I would in person at the stores with Amazon Prime 5% back, discounted prices on top of that and free shipping and really fast delivery times! FANTASTIC. I saved hundreds of dollars on my Honda Generators, what a pleasant surprise! Plus I can buy extended warranties on my generators, accessories and extended run fuel tanks etc etc.
Thanks to Jeff Bezos for developing online shopping to such a high degree of integrity! Love it! That Prime membership, comes with free movies, music wow! I can just go on and on. CUSTOMER SERVICE reminds me of Apple Support, FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! They actually help you, can you believe that in this day and age! Try calling AT&T, or Western Union, or your bank! Haha. Amazon RULES online commerce. Try it if you have not, you will be very happy.

I was a Prime member for years. I purchased a vacuum that broke right away. They sent me a replacement and let me return the broken one through Kohl's. Then the replacement broke the same way the first one did only it took a few days past the 30 they allow you. So now I could no longer return to Kohl's, although they said I could, but Kohl's couldn’t process the code they sent. When I drove the twenty miles to return it there. Then they were also going to charge me a restocking fee.
I didn’t feel that was anyway to treat a longtime Prime member. Meaning prime tv and the works. So, I said if this is how it’s going to be just cancel my account. The tv sucks anyway. More and more you have to pay to watch anything good in addition to the fee you already pay. So they did as I asked BUT IN THE MEANTIME I had a couple of orders in the works and one was incorrect when I received it. When I tried to login I could not. When I phoned They said my order number didn’t exist. Basically calling me a liar. I guess the Amazon charge in my credit card that I’ll dispute is a figment of my imagination. My advice stay away from AMAZON!!! There are better safer ways to shop and much better tv elsewhere?

I stupidly tried yet again to order some items through AMazon since they were on sale. 1 of 3 arrived damaged, tried to return it. Missed USP since I got covid and ended up in the ER and was admitted. Came home 4 days later with the items completely smashed and glob everywhere with pieces of glass and 3 out of 5 people (including supervisors) wanted me to mail that back in order to get a refund. They wanted me to commit a federal crime by mailing broken glass intentionally to them. A local officer I called even said to them that I am not allowed to do that. They then wanted me to go wading through dumpsters to take pictures of the items. This was not even 50.00 worth of stuff and I already have covid and this is how they treat you! We did find one small bag with some of it in it so sent those pictures but they won't do anything since it's not all 3 items. It's a disgrace and I can not believe how low they have sunk! NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Now that this company has managed to climb so high up it's a shame their employees are doing everything they can to bring it right back down. Treating customers rudely, ignoring customers, not following delivery instructions and putting it wherever they want if they deliver it at all. The CEO REALLY needs to take a hard look at what's going on before it way too late! They think that got me the most was telling me to mail shards of glass and goop to them when they aren't even allowed to accept makeup or lotions back for sanitary reasons. And what sucks is nothing will happen to any of these clowns! Including their supervisor who you can barely understand.

My daughter on my behalf placed an order on my account. It was a large order and as such Amazon put a hold on my account until we uploaded a copy of our credit card statement with our name, address and last four of the credit card. We have done this now three times. Each time they send a no-reply email saying what we submitted was insufficient. you have to hunt on the website for a number. I have called twice trying to get them to take my account on hold but nobody can help. They keep saying I need to upload the document, which I let them know that I did and I know they received it because I got an email stating the document was insufficient even though it is exactly what they asked for. They will not allow you to speak with a supervisor and the front line people do not know how to solve the situation. I wish I could give zero stars.

I am not a heavy user of Amazon. Mostly because the quality of goods that aren't from a big brand supplier are questionable. I recently had my amazon account hacked and amazon proactively locked down my account but not before allowing one of four transactions progress to shipped. This resulted in >$1000 being charged to my account. Amazon are not taking resolution of this seriously as my financial institution have determined amazon should be responsible for the refund. It looks like amazon would prefer to make revenue on cybercrime and fraud than support their customers with timely, clear and relevant management of these cases in stressful times. It appears amazon sees more profit in supporting organised crime and probably facilitating money laundering or financing terrorism than it does in legal businesses and legitimate consumers. Disgraceful.

I was trying to place an order for some books with gift cards. For some reason, I couldn't access the shipping page, so I called Amazon customer service. The rep was rude and was trying not to answer my question. Eventually he told me to use a dummy credit card (not a real credit card) and this would fix the problem. He even sent me a link.
I did what he told me and it fixed the problem with the shipping page and placed my order, paying with the gift cards. Then I got an email saying my account had been frozen because of the dummy credit card. I called amazon again to tell them what happened and they just told me to create a new account. I asked about the $100 on my account and they pretty much said too bad. I asked if they could credit my new account and they said no. So because of bad advice on their end and a glitch in the system I am out $100 and wasted hours trying to rectify the situation. I feel like I have been robbed.

The Low Quality of the Items was Unbelievable, Pocket flaps that were sewn on were over sized and not centered, Tags were FAKE. (I verified this by Contacting the Real Manufacturer of the Items being Counterfeited, and it was CONFIRMED that the Items were FAKE!)
2. Six Amazon Customer service Reps Disconnected from their Live Chat Feature, because they didn't want to deal with my Questions about Shipping issues. (I wasn't nasty about it.) they just Disconnected because they didn't want to deal with it. the seventh Customer Service Rep, flat out Lied, stating that they had Contacted the Shipper, I know full well this was a FLAT OUT LIE, because of the following: The Shipper's Office is CLOSED on Sunday, and I contacted the Shipper on Monday, and they Confirmed that Amazon Customer Service DID NOT CONTACT THEM.
3. Amazon has blocked my Reviewing the COUNTERFEIT Items, so they can sell more of the fakes to more unsuspecting people.
4. Customer Service is NO Help at all! Return Labels were for a shipping company whose closest office is over an HOUR AWAY. (They Could have offered me a Canada Post Label, but REFUSED to Do so!)
5. Cannot get my Money back, I had to get an Amazon Gift Card to Order these Items, (Paid Cash for it) Now I have the Cost of the Items stuck on an Amazon Account that I have no way to recover these funds to replace the Items Amazon tried to SCAM me with. Amazon drivers can't read, every time always past strict times of business closing. In my delivery directions it says this is a business and only open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and every time they deliver past 5, missing a lot of packages. Even have it in the address line of delivery hours. Amazon don't care of the many complaints as they still deliver late. I will create a site just to post all the complaints for amazon, maybe if people stop using them things may get better. I use them very little now, where I use to use them all the time. I will not renew membership next time, as well as send bad remarks about amazon and help people find better places to go.

After multiple calls to Amazon and opening an investigation through American Express I was issued a credit. Amazon followed up with a call. It should not have taken all of this but in the end I only lost my time and some sanity for a few weeks. I would not say I won't use Amazon again but my orders will be limited to lower cost items and I will do my due diligence to check reviews and ratings of any seller. Most likely I will stick with orders sold directly by Amazon and avoid third party sellers. I have had good experiences as a whole with Amazon so this is an outlier.

I purchased a $ 2,200.00 camera through Amazon prime. I thought since this was a prime order that Amazon would cover me if anything went wrong. Bad mistake on my part! Turns out the seller was a complete fraud and they sent me a cheap kids bag of some sort. No camera. I immediately called Amazon and set up a return. I tracked it each day and confirmed delivery to their returns department. After over 10 days I still have not been refunded. I have called Amazon every day and they are no help and will not refund my $. I also reported as fraud and American Express is investigating. This has been my worst online purchase experience ever!
FYI, the seller ripped off many other Amazon customers and has a 100% negative feedback. Amazon knows this but will not back up the customer whatsoever. I estimated over 50k in stolen money from various customers. It's really unbelievable. Also, Amazon deleted all my return information from my account. They also delete any negative reviews that I post on Amazon. Luckily I have documented this information well and still have copies. Stay away from this company. Since management was changed it is complete crap show. Buy direct. I have had great experiences with other online sellers and my prime account will be no more!

Then today I received an email from Amazon saying they could not post my review with pictures because it belonged in the Feedback section and not the Product section. Well, we all know the only way to post it in a spot where customers will actually SEE IT is if we post it into the Product Reviews section! Amazon received my items back and refuse to give back my refund. The chat customer service are like robots, they all repeat the same identical message back to you. Customers cannot put a “real“ negative review or it will not be posted. Amazon Prime is worthless. Your items are delivered to the wrong address or not at all or up to five days later. Your items that are sent by Amazon look used or returned. I canceled my Prime and it seems like now they refuse to give me my refund. Now Prime is over $16 per month. TERRIBLE COMPANY WENT DOWN BIG TIME. I have had Amazon’s third party sellers trying to pay me to remove a not so good review not once countless times through my personal email. The absolute worst company, they are scum. I’ve spent all day dealing with them. I had a big order broken up into 2 shipments, both coming via Amazon delivery. Neither came and they refused to refund. I’ve had to file a dispute with my CC. This is just terrible, they used to be great but now they think they can get away with treating customers like garbage. They wouldn’t even properly investigate my claim because if they did, they would see that their dumb drivers mishandled my orders. First order marked delivered to mailroom instead of front door. I can’t find it in the mailroom and the Amazon van guy I flagged down said he didn’t have a delivery for me. Their customer service tells me that it was marked delivered by mistake and I would get it next day with the 2nd shipment. Well next day the 2nd shipment is marked delivered but doesn’t say where and nothing is here. Customer service chat was atrocious!
I drove down to an Amazon customer service center and spoke with 2 supervisors. They could see by GPS history that my 2nd shipment was delivered a mile away from me to a different apt complex. The other, they say delivery wasn’t attempted and it was simply marked as delivered. I went to this other complex where they said it was but it wasn’t there. Mine wasn’t there but there were several packages there that belonged to people from my complex! After explaining things multiple times to their customer service and being asked to file reports for them to “investigate”, I am so fuming mad that they REFUSE to refund or replace. Horrible horrible garbage company. I WILL get my money back regardless, thankfully, I used a CC.

Like many on here, I decided to cancel my Prime membership after 20 something years. It's clear that Amazon has no concept of managing their supply chain and are so deceptive to customers, it's amazing how they get away with it. They increase Prime membership yet the majority of product takes several days or delivery AND if you find the same product with 2nd day delivery, it's marked up significantly higher than the same product with several day delivery. So, we are paying higher cost for membership and then higher cost for product to take advantage of the membership. Go to Walmart - less expensive, better product availability, 1-2 day free shipping. Amazon is horrible!

While Amazon is a good company, they presuppose, with their "topics and answers" list that they are so a great company that they know everything that the customer needs in response to an order question. Should an order be late, as in my case, (after promising a certain delivery date if I ordered a product by a specific time slot), my options for recourse with the late order is to wait an additional 3 days to see if the product arrives, and only then I may choose to cancel if I desire to do so.
As a Prime member whose pays yearly for their "2 -day delivery" promise, this is woefully unsatisfactory, especially when the onus for shipping details on the order is pushed by Amazon into MY LAP to follow up directly with the shipper to find out why the shipment that THEY arranged with him is late!! They effectively "shield themselves" from customer inquiries into such orders by not providing any direct live web interface method with their company. This fact will weigh heavily upon any future decision to continue my membership with them!!

I've been Prime member for that past 18 years (since 2004) and I just cancelled my membership two days ago along with Amazon Store Card due to overall experience at Amazon.com where you no longer can trust Amazon as company or their Customer Support that has been outsourced to India. Let me explain why. I don't know if you've noticed over the past few years (5 years) Amazon products quality in general dropped drastically from being best place to shop to a place that start looking like China retail site.
Amazon has been caught posting an insane number of fake reviews for their products. I received many products marked as "Brand New" that were either open-box or renewed items. My problem that you no longer can rely on reviews, as they fake and don't represent actual product quality. In the past 3 years I've returned more products than in 15 years combined, just imagine that for a second. Their customer support has been outsourced to India and other countries where representative literally don't care about your problem.
Amazon Store Card experience become final nail in the Amazon coffin. I will never shop on Amazon again but let me also explain on what happened. Amazon Store Card mobile app and online site are literally not functioning properly. After making a purchase transaction is not getting reflected on your account for up to 5 business days, that's the whole week guys! That's doesn't stop there.
When you try to make a payment, your payment is not appearing as pending transaction for up to 3-4 business days, where app still showing your balance as unpaid even after confirming that they successfully received your payment. Again, it doesn't stop there. They are using Synchrony Bank that falsely advertising everyday 5% cashback with qualified Prime membership. I've never received any cashback. Next when you cancel your account due to not properly functioning app, Synchrony Bank will report your cancellation to all main credit agencies that will hurt your credit score.
Amazon other products like Amazon Prime Movies become total garbage selection, where if you want to see some decent movie, you have to rent it, buy it, or subscribe for another service. Amazon Music is another money-making machine that on top of your Prime membership on every single use will try get you subscribe to Amazon Prime Unlimited service with crappy sound quality, and if you want HD audio quality you have to pay extra. If you don't pay attention for everything you buy at Amazon, you end up like me literally spending thousands of dollars per month. I AM DONE WITH AMAZON! Amazon become like eBay where you get 50/50 chance of getting what you really want and at the end you also end up paying pretty insane price to get all of the Amazon-paid services. From best online retailer you've become TOTAL GARBAGE COMPANY with ** services and customer support. GOODBYE AMAZON!

All items were me - they were gift cards to Amazon for a program we are doing. They canceled all. I was in Mexico at the time - not sure if it was the location that freaked them out. I have explained over and over and over and over that it is me. They refuse to turn my account back on. Every time I call, I'm told that there is no email or phone number they can give out to "said department" - CS has to generate an email with them. CS doesn't even have a phone number to them. Right. They've emailed a couple of times with a format email telling me I have to get a new account, because they deemed someone hacked into mine and placed an order. IT WAS ME!!!!
They finally send an email saying if I really want to get back in, what I have to do - starting with resetting my password. I've explained over and over that I get a notice every time I try to do this - saying they've closed my account and they won't allow the password to reset. Not only did my Prime renew days before this happened (NO ONE has offered to refund this, so I would have to pay for it again - even though I've asked). I have numerous items I have to return and now can't because I can't start the return process. To say their CS is beyond the lowest most pathetic thing I've ever experienced is putting it mildly.

Amazon charged me an item had been returned through UPS! Called to confirm Amazon admitted that it should never charge me back since the item was dropped off at UPS store. But this was second times happened to me and Amazon still didn't fix this common issue?! Amazon an average sale is $950 million a day, let say 0.5% fall in this error = $4,750,000; if 95% of customer didn't bother to check their statements = $4,512,500 was overcharged by Amazon a day!
Amazon will not know this error unless customer called to compliant, then they just refunded the overcharged! But why it is so hard for Amazon to fix this issue? Was it very hard? No, I'm an IT professional, the programming is so easy to fix it: If warehouse received return item = No; then charged customer back (this is what Amazon code now). Should change to the following: If warehouse received return item = No; then if return received in UPS = No; then charged customer back else = report to UPS missing items.
As you can see, the programming is so easy to fix such logical errors, but why Amazon still didn't bother to fix it? Because Amazon can make over $4,512,500 a day without any penalty, so why not? If this is not call scam, then what should it called?

Amazon waste my time and I need my orders, although they try to make me happy with 5 dollars credit offer. I said this is insulting whenever people talk about humanity and customer's respect, but they still tried to buy my waste time with 5 dollars gift card. I just disappointed because feels like Amazon already grows up and don't need to respect or responsibility about customers.
Even Worse than that is customer services that act like robot or some technology without any understanding. I recommended to send me my order after at least another two hours chat with customer service but they passed me to the other person and it repeated several times and each time they asked me to explain again my story. I’m so tired of calling Amazon regarding their delivery companies. They try to redirect me to these companies and it’s futile. Amazon is responsible for making sure my packages get to my door. That’s why I pay extra to use their site. The only company that does bring to me is the one being evaluated each delivery. I feel as though I’m being punished for living in an apartment. Too many lazy delivery guys will leave my packages at the entrance to my building. That would be equivalent to leaving a box at the end of someone’s driveway. I’ve had young men leave extremely heavy boxes for me to drag home. Even if I catch up to them they say they don’t care. I’m a 60 year old woman with back and neck issues from working hard all my life. Amazon you’re responsible for ensuring my items arrive to my door!!!

90% of my orders are late. And when speaking to customer service they give you the run around. My most recent order I paid for Express shipping to have it arrive the same day. Had me waiting til midnight. When I spoke with representative via chat they could not spell too and when I said I didn't understand what they were meaning the ended the chat, then I called spoke with a few CSR's then a supervisor who offered me a refund and said, "Your product will still arrive. Don't worry about returning it." I agreed. When I checked to see if there was a shipping update and instead the order is no longer even being shipped. It was canceled. Altogether the false advertising their doing with there shipping and lying to customers just to end the call.
This company is just poor with skills. I don't know who is training their agents and I not accepting English is not the 1st language as a supervisor tried to use in regards to poor spelling and a full conversation that looked like a bad rap song and rudeness. But again this is not the first time I delayed delivery. But the 1st time a rep had misrepresented what was a solution which caused a bigger problem. When speaking to more agents I was asked, "Can't you go to a local store and purchase." I was completely blowed away you would suggest your competitors. First It is hard to find the real customer support phone number, neither find the Amazon support email.
On March 5, I called a customer support number (found online), auto voice, no one answer the phone. But a few minutes later, I got phone call from one of the following: **, calmed to be Amazon supporter, they knew my phone number… Later on I found that they are Scammer who maybe have inside connection with Amazon tech support, so they got my contact information “on time” and with the "help" of Zelle which cause me lost a fortune. Now we are the tenth (still not arrived at this time) and when I look at the location of my package it seems to not have been shipped yet. And on the 13 I can ask for a refund so the feeling I have right now is that they get money without sending me my items. So it feel like a big ** you to me, there is NO way to send them emails only a phone number. What a awesome company (sarcasm). So I'm gonna talk to Amazon about this. Well I learned a valuable lesson today. I am selling all my Amazon stocks. This is a huge risk factor waiting to happen. My chat agents kept dropping my chats even the supervisors. They did not care about my situation. They treated me like a joke. It was a horrible experience. They offered me a 5 dollar credit. At this point I think it's time to go back to shopping at Walmart. At least they pretend to care there. But the whole situation boiled down to this. I have my daughter coming in town that I have not seen for 4 years. I had a special movie night planned with 3d. I brought everything I needed and made sure I selected the option that said. Next day guarantee. They changed it to 3 days away. I chatted with the agent. It was horrible. I have screen shots of the whole situation. The biggest problem for amazon is they need to be careful who they disrespect. Because they never know who are stock holders.

This is specifically concerning Kindle, Amazon's book producing for authors and selling service for readers. I've been buying and selling books on Kindle for years, usually with little problems and customer service did a good job helping me if I had problems, until now. KDP is now shutting out authors from Kindle who have been on KDP for years and now closing their accounts, creating lies as to why you are cut, with no proof. There is no allowance for fixing unknown mistakes, or providing evidence as to why KDP is closing their accounts. They just send an email stating you can no longer submit books, receive royalties, as KDP will confiscate them, sometimes thousands of dollars owed authors, all of their books gone from Kindle, and they can never open another account again. This doesn't make sense whatsoever. Have out of control robots taken over???
It seems Amazon is going off the deep end experiencing more problems than ever, especially now with employees wanting to unionize, despite getting better wages and benefits than they could get in another warehouse job. Authors Beware, you can be cut from Kindle for any reason, but they will make up reasons without proof. There are other places to create books, that I am guessing won't cut you out or steal your hard earned royalties. Readers, who knows, you may not be able to read as many great books anymore, and maybe be cut next.

I ordered thousands of dollars worth of home decor when my income tax return came this year. My kiddos and I had moved into our new space in September and had been anxiously awaiting the measuring, ordering and planning. I ordered a few vintage tin signs for my kitchen. They continually said they would be "delivered by 8 pm tomorrow". There was no tracking info, just that it was being sent from an international mail carrier. I didn't make it an issue until things I had ordered started showing severe damage or just never showed up.
I utilized the chat feature online which continued sending me from seller to Amazon and back again. I sent an email and received a response telling me they were so sorry and they were reimbursing me for the 3 signs. They said not to bother sending them back, as it was their way of making things right. I was thankful and once the signs finally showed up, I returned to the product page to write a review. The shipping and tracking were less than reliable but the signs were great quality and couldn't have been more perfect.
Logging in a few days later, I noticed I had a message from Amazon. They had shut my profile down and erased ALL reviews I had previously shared. I thought it was a mistake. I utilized the chat once again and was ASSURED that the problem was fixed and my account would be reactivated within a few days. FIVE MINUTES after the conversation in chat, I received an email stating that they were holding steadily by their decision to suspend my account and suggested I read their policies on review etiquette. I read it, but still asked them to explain what I had done specifically.
The email I got in response blatantly and outright accused me of "having relations with international third-party sellers by trading the promise of free products for glowing reviews". Overall I am satisfied with my experience at Amazon, but two areas of major improvement needed. First is the product reviews and pricing. There are thousands of positive reviews for so many items, and it's clear that the reviews are bogus or not really associated with that product. There needs to be a way to only view products sold by Amazon directly, because many market sellers way overprice items that can be purchased cheaper elsewhere (like Walmart, Target, etc). The second issue is they make it too difficult to get help when there's an issue with an order.

Amazon is now buying items showing as the seller as opposed to the seller they actually buy from. That leaves a buyer with no recourse to get additional specifications on those items before you buy. Despite them showing returnable, refundable and replaceable, you also do not have access to the traditional amazon A-Z guarantee hence returns are a problem.
I bought a bed topper for a good sum of money and it is entirely too soft. I previously bought one that showed the actual seller I was granted a refund without return in April 2021). They suggested I sell it on Amazon (I have no box to ship it in and am unable to handle it being physically handicapped and homebound. What makes that an option for me?)
They also suggested I contact the original seller (lucid) but could not give me an address to write to and told me to use my search engine! Note there is no guarantee they will help me as I did not buy it from them). I am a decades-long Amazon customer and have had a fair quality of life because of it. Here is why I deleted my account, and will no longer use Amazon anything. If you review a product, and they don't like your review, they will flag your account to delete all your reviews past and present. They will then prohibit you from reviewing anything you buy on their site. As an American, I have a problem with a vendor taking away my right to speak on my experience. I purchased that right when I bought your product. My reviews were never vulgar nor offensive. Amazon simply didn't care for the rating. That simple. Cancel Culture in this country is our demise. Hello there. Here is my summary of events that happened and the reason why I’m disputing the charges from Amazon in the amount of $xxxx. Amazon offered me a return label through their website on 11/11/2021. I printed it out and brought my AirPods pros with their packaging to UPS for shipping using the Amazon provided label (Also on 11/11/2021). Amazon received my package on 11/15/2021. I received an email Nov 23rd that “the returned item we received was incorrect”. They did not include any item name, description, or reference number.
Confused, I wrote them back and also called them to see what was going on. Through my calls with the “Customer Service” department (which they completely differentiate from the “returns department”) I was informed that the shipping box I sent back to amazon had an empty package inside. I assumed it was some sort of mistake and I could talk with them to get to the bottom of it. After countless emails and phone calls, I was told that it wasn’t that the package was empty, but the wrong item was in the package and they “disposed” of it. What?? Is what I was thinking. After much more back and forth through emails and phone calls, I was told, no, the package was in fact empty, and then again it was the wrong item in the package, and then that the package was empty and then that it was the wrong item in the package and then again that it was empty... this loop never ended and I’ve never gotten a straight answer.
Customer service told me they can only read me some basic notes from the returns department and then I need to respond to the email from the returns department and they will get back to me. I was told this again and again and I responded to the Returns Department email again and again asking for them to look into this and clarify exactly what they are saying happened and provide any information they can about this. They basically stonewalled me and continued to send me a generic email saying “if you would like to appeal this decision, please reply to this email.” I replied again and again and again. I couldn’t get them to talk to me at all. I asked for clarity. I asked for them to investigate internally and provide me any information they can. They wouldn’t respond directly to anything I ask, or requested. I also asked them to start a claim with UPS so UPS could start a claim and investigate as well. They didn’t respond.
I contacted UPS directly and attempted to start a claim to investigate this and was told that they are happy to do so, but Amazon has to be the one to request it since they are the actual customer of UPS. (Amazon hired UPS to ship the return.) They said Amazon had not contacted them in any way. I called back into UPS multiple times to see if I could start an investigation other ways and was told again and again that they are happy to do it but Amazon would have to authorize the claim for investigation. I even requested they look into simple fraud and I reported it as such to them. They said their hands were tied and they could do nothing unless Amazon authorized it. Meanwhile, Amazon continued to give me generic response after generic response and nobody would respond directly to my questions.
Finally I got someone from Amazon customer service on the phone who said they would “be honest with me.” They said their hands were tied and it was entirely in the returns department’s hands. They said they thought there was ZERO chance that the returns department at amazon would authorize a claims investigation with UPS. Obviously I was very frustrated with all of this and looked into it further. I found that my drop-off receipt showed that my package weighed .9 lbs and the delivery receipt showed that it weighed .6 lbs. I pointed this out to Amazon through emails and phone calls. I also pointed it out to UPS. I filed a police report in Brooklyn for the police to investigate as well.
I am beyond frustrated that someone stole the headphones I returned using Amazon’s vendor and Amazon not only is keeping my money, but they refuse to investigate it internally or communicate about it OR authorize UPS to investigate it which they are more than willing and ready to do. Something very fishy is going on here and someone stole the headphones or threw them away and refuses to take accountability or look into it. Bottom line: I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with Amazon and their lack of any real customer service or reaction to them or their vendor losing my return and them keeping my money.

Overall if you need something and can't find it, go to Amazon they have just about everything. Usually it is cheaper than anywhere else. But remember that you get what you pay for. It's extremely important to read the description and the reviews. But you also need to remember that just because one person has an issue, doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Amazon has a really good refund policy so that you don't get taken by shady people. Yeah I have received junk but the overall quality has been awesome. Most products have a 2 day delivery time. Just make sure you check to see when the delivery date is. I think way too many people get hostile because they don't read the delivery date.

Although many posted reasons for Prime delivery failures appear reasonable and fair, I feel they’re more like making excuses for intentionally not complying with the Prime-Delivery agreement we members originally signed up for. Over the last few years I noticed a slow progression from their original 2-Day delivery to 3-Days, then 4 and now as long as 7 to 10 days! This is what many call a scam, or a con, but at least it's a Bait & Switch. Who needs to pay extra for Prime Services if they’re going to renege on their agreement with us and consistently deliver Prime products late as if they were on the standard plan?
Besides do you know that according to Amazon’s own shareholder data, Amazon collects $3,000,000.000.00 dollars in Prime Membership fees every year! That’s right…. $3 Billion Dollars a year without delivering on what they had agreed to do with our money in the Prime Membership contract. There should be a rule that every time Amazon fails to deliver on their Prime Membership Agreement, (minus sincere reasons) they must post a membership-fee refund or credit for that entire month! Then you’ll see how fast they’ll STOP playing games making excuses for being continuously late... heck they're being paid enough!

I use Amazon.com on a regular basis. The delivery options are fantastic. They give you a choice of days, where to place your deliveries at your home, and where to deliver your packages if you're not going to be home. I also like the follow up email with picture of the delivery. If there's a delay with your delivery, you are given the option of a replacement or a cancelation with a correction on your account. Concerns are handled in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. The tracking option is a welcome plus because of the detailed information. I can find everything I need on Amazon.com. Although Amazon's support was extremely limited when my item was not delivered, all of the agents that I spoke with were nice, well-mannered, patient and acted professionally. It's not their fault that they are limited in what they are able to do. After all, they are not able to contact logistics directly. At least, I received the item the next day, and maybe the agents had something to do with it. Also, I was very happy with the quality and value of the item. Therefore, I feel that it's only fair that I update my star rating here.

Item I ordered 6 days ago arrived at an Amazon Facility IN MY CITY at 1 AM, at 2 PM it got listed as "Delayed in Transit", and now the delivery status is listed as 1 to 4 days late. Destination is an Amazon locker that closes at 11 PM. My package has been in my city since 1 AM on the promised delivery date and it cannot be inside the Amazon locker by 11 PM??? Very suspicious!!! I can no longer trust and rely on Amazon.com. I Spoke with 5 different agents and not one of them could get a hold of Amazon logistics to find out what really happened. Amazon customer service does not have a way of contacting their logistics/drivers other than ONLY BY EMAIL. All that customer service can do is say "I'm sorry." Meanwhile, if their driver decided to go to the beach rather than delivering, I'm the one who had to pay for it, and the driver got away with not doing his job.

Been using Amazon for years. Since Covid company has gone downhill fast. More mistakes less customer service to impersonal. Website no longer user friendly. Stupid automated computer trying to guess what you need. Refunds became a nightmare. Delivery times are inaccurate. Used to order get fast on time delivery with a smile. On the rare occasion there was a problem a human went over and above to right the wrong. Now mistakes are a given and good luck getting thru to a human. If you do be ready to battle for a proper resolution.
Examples are packaged liquid, in box with other items, shipped where the spray pump squirts out every time the box is shaken or lid wasn't screwed on tight enough. Now drive 45 mins to UPS to return a half empty bottle of Shampoo in order to get a refund. Bet your sweet cheeks I am sending it back in the same wet dripping box it came in and no I didn't tighten the lid. Seller sends 1 item instead of 4 you ordered and paid for 3 weeks late. No problem. Spend 20 mins online going thru the robotic response. Finally get a CSR who sends seller a message with 48 hrs to respond. 48 hrs later call back and you're told, "We will send seller a message with 48 hrs to respond". Repeat 48 hrs later. Check on orders get delivered today. End of day states delivery next week. Not what was advertised. Too bad we will change the status again tomorrow.
Leave instructions to leave pkg at the gate. Come home and if it was delivered it's in the porch and your dogs are running thru the neighborhood. My favorite is it was left at gate, on porch or near mailbox. NOT 20 mins later you find it in the horse pasture. Or better yet it's frozen goods and you're going to have a friend get them in the freezer while you're at work. Come home since no delivery stated to melted ice and food thawed. Blame Covid, lack of employees, upgrades to system whatever you want but went from a solid 10 on a scale of 1-5 to a minus 20 in under 2 yrs. So disappointed two day delivery went from getting it in two days to getting it two days from shipping (which might be weeks) to you may get it, you may not. The convenience is gone. Will trade Prime membership for gas to drive to Walmart from now on. At least it's in my hand and I can speak to a human to get a problem resolved. So sad how much this service has deteriorated.

HR is not a good "rep" or customer service person for this company. I had purchased an item in a certain size because it's the usual size that I wear in all clothing, I couldn't fit it so I sent it back because it still had the sticker on it in order to keep it sanitary. I then purchased a size larger and it still didn't fit but this time the sticker was removed and coming off. So I wanted a refund in order to purchase another design. I didn't want to send this one back due to it already being worn during trying on.
Vishnu responded with "FIRST OF ALL (which is already a disgusting tone) you ordered and chose the size so it's not on our end. It's on your end (which I agree I did choose this size after first trying the usual size that I fit, found that this product runs smaller than usual so be leery before purchasing on Amazon to begin and end with). It was very deeply disturbing the response that I received from someone who is supposed to represent a company/business in a professional manner. He was very unprofessional and so hope that he/she is reprimanded and really is fired to be honest because they really made me feel like a devalued consumer. I have had numerous issues with Amazon not upholding their part of the terms regarding my Prime Membership. Specifically the 2 day shipping/arrival guarantee. I can not begin to tell you how many times I have had to contact the member services staff only for them to be uncaring and unprofessional about issue resolution. Sending emails to jeff puts me in touch with their Executive Relations staff. Most of the time it is a waste. They come up with almost every excuse in the book as to why they can not honor it. Sometimes going as far as to actually blame me for not knowing the terms.
Their solution has always been to offer me a Amazon credit (which in its own right is a joke because you can only use this credit for items sold and shipped by Amazon themselves.) No, I do not want your useless credit. I want you to honor the terms of your membership agreement. 2 day shipping means that you, Amazon, must select the proper level of shipment service with UPS that will guarantee that I will receive it in 2 days. That is what your 2 day shipping guarantee means as it applies to Prime Members. Otherwise, what is the point of having a Prime Membership. NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY in this company understands that concept. The last correspondence I received from them about this issue even said, "further inquiries won't receive a response."
How would that make you feel hearing that if you were a member? If you said "not valued," then you're not alone. If Amazon treats their Prime Members this way, then maybe all these horror stories I hear from their employees and ex-employees are starting to sound true. I can just imagine what it was actually like for the employees who had to endure or parished in their warehouse in Illinois that they didn't provide tornado shelters for. I'm willing to bet the stories being told about that are true. Amazon USED to be a great company. Not anymore and it seems that Bezos probably doesn't even care anymore. I have two Amazon Prime accounts all being used by my immediate family and we never had problems. Generally speaking, I only purchase off Amazon if I really need something as I’ve decided to no longer give Amazon more of my business for two reason: 1) I became a seller on Amazon and it was the biggest nightmare of my life and 2) they have banned my regular buying account from ever posting reviews.
While there are decent sellers on Amazon, nearly 70% of them are sellers from China whom Amazon still allows to harass buyers, allow them to continuously post fake reviews, fake their metrics, fake their ranking and overall, sell cheap quality products with ugly branding. They’re all the same products but with different logos and a gibberish name. Sellers from China do not pay high duties like USA sellers and they also do not pay taxes or contribute to USA’s economy! This allows them to siphon money, cutting off the middleman and offering customers poor quality products (with poor quality control) at low prices which many customers now are accommodated to so retailers cannot compete. The sellers are foreign millionaires while USA-based sellers on average, making $10k a year with a lot of work. These foreign sellers are also aggressive against honest USA sellers.
Selling on Amazon was a complete nightmare. It was complicated and extremely expensive. It was much easier to invest in a different business model. Advertising fees are high, Amazon’s selling fee percentage is high, everything is confusing and poorly done. Seller support is a nightmare and they have too many bugs. If a customer decides to rip a seller off, the seller is out of pocket for the entire item. Amazon has full control and very rarely actually help sellers (who are the ones that make them money). You will pull your hair out dealing with anything regarding selling on Amazon! Once your product drops below 4-stars, it will barely sell, which shows that 4.5-star products are not truly rated honestly. They’re faked because Amazon doesn’t let you sell with low ratings so many sellers fake it yet Amazon punishes fake reviews.
Amazon will ALWAYS be run by Chinese sellers and will always have counterfeit products and fake reviews. While Amazon has tried to crack down on this, they have banned numerous innocent buyers from contributing reviews due to the poorly implemented bots that flag anything you’ve done unintentionally. I’ve been permanently banned as a buyer and reaching customer service was a nightmare as they always give canned responses or won’t tell you what you did wrong.
I can no longer write reviews, my previous reviews for the past 11+ years have been deleted, I can no longer ask product questions and my entire family was also punished. Ironic, as Amazon offers a Vine Reviewer program, where Amazon incentivized reviews to get their OWN branded product ranked high. This Vine reviewer program is also available to sellers but you have to PAY then give away your item for free potentially getting a few Karen-like buyers who will give you a poor rating because they didn’t like your product or they give 5-star ratings for high-ticket items that they didn’t pay for. Extremely shady!
Stay away or lower your contribution to this company. They’re an aggressive monopoly. I’ve never been treated so poorly as a merchant and a buyer and trust me, I sell on a lot other platforms with very few problems and I buy on other websites where they don’t flag me like I’m some sort of criminal. Don’t let some “amazon guru” tell you selling on Amazon is easy money, it’s not. If it was, they wouldn’t be selling a course about it. Adding to the fact they treat their employees poorly. Amazon overall is a bully and I hope more people will see it and stop buying from them!

I contacted customer service and followed their instructions. They told me to send the graphics card back to Amazon. Upon receiving the graphics card I was told that I won’t get the money back because it was a different card. However, I don’t have another card, I returned the only card sent to me by Amazon. I was refused a refund and the card I’ve returned was disposed. I stop ordering from Amazon again.

First many years ago I set up an Amazon account and pay the monthly fees to have the 2 days shipping on products ordered, however, I no longer get 2 day shipping though I am paying for it. Second, I had a large order and decided to use one of their payment options with a company called Affirm. After approval I tried going to their site to set up my payments only to never be able to get onto their site. Continuous searching I finally found where you could send an email to their customer support which I now have done 20 times only to get an email back that I had to sign onto their site to read their email response.
I wrote a report on Trust Pilot and their customer team responded with a phone number. I have never been able to sign on to this account. I called the 855-423-3729 number as suggested only to go through the same nightmare as I had on the AFFIRM site. I demanded speaking to a manager and the only solution to this issue was to pay off this loan in full today, at which they will not accept a credit card to pay their account off only your bank account. They are highly suspicious and incompetent. This company needs to be investigated and I recommend if you want to keep your credit intact DO NOT GET A LOAN THROUGH THIS COMPANY! I found horrible reviews online about AFFIRM and cannot understand why Amazon would allow this to happen to their customers and why they continue to do business with a company that is ripping off their customers and ruining their credit.

My family and I have two Prime memberships. Overall, my experiences with Amazon have been positive and we have given the company tens of thousands of dollars in business. I do understand that the pandemic and the shortage of qualified labor can result in less than perfect results, but packing fragile merchandise in unpadded envelops is totally unacceptable. In the last two weeks I received three shipments packed in envelopes and in each case the product was damaged. Amazon needs to fix this at once.

I immediately notified Amazon and after a week had not heard from them. I called and then they started a claims. I was just notified because I don’t have cameras showing them doing the damage that my claim was denied! It doesn’t matter I witnessed it. So, due to their driver’s lack of attention, I’m having to pay to repair my yard. I will no longer be using Amazon. What happened to a company taking responsibility for their employee’s screw ups?

Over the course of the last year, I have been using Amazon for a lot of purchases. Up until recently their service has been good. I am not sure why Customer Service from Amazon as well as other retailers has gotten so bad. No one listens to what is being said to them. They all seem to be reading off a script. Being told something by one customer service rep is never followed up or the same information if a second call is needed. They always have a different answer.
The days of the customer being right is no longer. I believe it is time for these companies to offer courses in respecting their customers and not telling different stories each time we call. For the times we need to call, AMAZON you should make it easier for us to do so. Your website takes us around in circles and we never get anywhere. I finally googled Amazon Canada, got the 800 number only for it to be in the US. I asked the person on the line for the number, they said they didn't know it, but would transfer me. Hmmmm.

They restricted my access since the very beginning and lie about why I’m unable to place orders now and lie in their responses to every complaint I’ve ever filed with the BBB & attorney general. Despite proof of absolutely everything they continue to ignore it and let their employees taunt and torment me and intentionally mislead me and I’ve been threatened and harassed for 11 months and if they could less I’d be surprised. I talked to a representative trying to understand where my order was and he was extremely rude and he told me people like you are the main reason our country is not making it and he told me that if you had brains you would have tracked the order yourself.
I was so upset I asked to speak to a supervisor and he denied him saying anything and told me we will listen to the call and call me back and I never heard back from them. Three days later, Amazon sent me an email that they are shutting down our account for misusing Amazon. They stated someone flagged my account and that's why it shut down. Who run this place? I have recently been ordering more from Walmart because I receive my items in 2 days (free shipping), and no extra fee. I have complained 2 different times and nothing has been done. If they can't get items shipped in a reasonable time, they shouldn't charge $130/year for free 2 day shipping. I purchased a product on Amazon for $495.00 and 3 days later I just happened to look at it again and the price had dropped $75.00, I called the support line and was told only that they do not do price guaranties! But not that I could return it for reason: 'better price elsewhere'. I was very disappointed as honoring price change refunds within 3 days of purchase is generally the norm at local retailers I deal with. So I decided that I would just return it and go buy it locally to not support this unfair practice and when I saw that there was an option to return it because: 'better price elsewhere' I took that option for the return. Amazon makes you pay the shipping when you return something for the reason 'better price elsewhere'. This cost me $18.53.
After trying to find the item locally with no luck I decided to just go back to Amazon and purchase the item again for the much better price. So the lesson for me is that Amazon won't tell of this option when you inquire, but it is there, I sent the item back and that cost me a little but the better price more than made up the difference and I laugh now about how expensive this has to be for Amazon to handle the return item and the new shipping labels all over it, get it back into their supply chain and to send me another item, it would have saved Amazon and me much more to honor the price after 3 days and just refund the difference. This is a bad policy and a lot of people are getting ripped off due to it as Amazon will not volunteer the information about how to return the item for: 'better price elsewhere'!

It offered a $15 gift card if I submitted a 5 star review on the product. I purchased the product based on reviews that I now know were inflated which is not right.
When I submitted my review about the offer of free money for a good review Amazon would not publish it as it wasn't entirely about the product. I was only trying to warn other consumers not to trust the reviews but I guess Amazon didn't see that as a valid reason to post it. On Friday 10-29-2021 I checked the tracking on Amazon, they said that they ''attempted delivery at 06:28 a.m.'' that is false because I was awake. No one rang the doorbell or knocked on the door. I've contacted customer service and I've been given the run around saying that it will be delivered on Saturday, no one delivered anything. They delivered another order that I purchased but not the gift card.
The gift card is to be given as a gift for someone else. Customer Service relayed to me each time I chatted with them via Amazon Chat that "they would arrange a report to delivery management to review the conversation and this issue for each report they receive will be investigated and the appropriate action will be taken." There has been no follow-up or when to ''truly" expect my order.
They have delivery drivers that falsely state they've attempted delivery when they have not, and what I don't understand is why they won't just didn't leave the gift card package on the porch like they've always done the previous times? Even the other gift card I purchased on Thursday they left it on the porch along with the other orders as they always do. I pay for an Amazon Prime Subscription that does not deliver, they claim that I would have my card on two specific days and it has not been delivered. I feel that they're giving me the runaround and playing games with me. All I ask is to receive what I've purchased and if unable to deliver on those promises then they should clearly state that. They have taken $100.00 from me which is for a gift card and will not deliver my item and something should be done about it.
Amazon makes fraudulent claims when it comes to paying customers receiving their packages but does not deliver. They will pretend that you will receive your items that you've ordered as promised by giving you false hopes by stating that "the order is out for delivery and you will receive your order today" then after 2 1/2- 3 days after they've gotten your hopes up with empty promises from waiting.... then they will say "we don't have any updates on the status of your order, will give you a refund." I do not want a refund, I just want my order as promised. That is Amazon's way of skirting responsibility. I used to brag about how good Amazon's customer service used to be, not anymore. The Customer Service has went downhill, and I'm not going to continue to pay for Amazon Prime that doesn't deliver on their promises, but instead recants on what was said.

I used Amazon as always to send a package that was a gift for a friend. I rarely have issues outside of an occasional rep not knowing what they’re doing when they try to help you, or a postman is in over his head around the holidays. My problem here is Amazon using its own tracking service. It was never good and screams yes Bezos is cheap as hell and wants to fly more anatomically shaped rockets into space. The problem is you cannot track any item shipped by them all of a sudden. Their tracking app says you need to log in. It says go track it from any app or site associated with them. You do that and there’s nothing but what you already know on your order's page. This is shady big time and incompetent.
I asked several agents to locate the package or merely give me updates through text or update their info. I cannot even find it on any site that says they have their info. This is unlike any normal carrier service. At least let me see current statuses of the package. This is normal with every shipping service even the pathetic DHL or UPSMI. Regarding logistics or parcels app they redirect you to the Amazon site. Useless and obvious misdirection because they don’t update packages anymore or dont know how to properly set up a tracking website or app.
Each agent either misled me about this or didn’t know themselves. Two outright lied to me and another was as confused as me being why he issues me a refund because he knew it would be late. This never happened before, even with their crappy personal shipping. In the past, I was able to track even their packages on a site but now nothing. USPS and UPS which they usually use fine as usual tracking wise save for an occasional non updated scan but info is up. Here you get a tracking number vaguely saying shipped from Amazon and that’s it. No status updates of where if is, nor updates you can receive. Nada.
This needs to stop and is quite alarming. I was issued a refund that was quickly rescinded by another agent who conveniently said the other agent was at fault and gave me a promotional credit only because of the other agent caring and feeling bad for the mess. He said it’s out for delivery so all you can get is a courtesy credit. Tracking says nothing but shipped by Amazon and shipped. No updates? Out for delivery nada on their useless order page. Was fine before when using USPS or UPS but with their shipping info you get jack except what anyone would know in their standard order page that now conveniently is never updated. Why?
Essentially, It’s now lost when it was supposed to be delivered Friday and they say Sunday now but do not know where it is and won’t even let you attempt to find it. Unacceptable and shady. Another misleading agent covering up for their horrendous personal shipping and now it says on my order page hours after his lying messages that if one wants a refund do it on Sunday if it doesn’t arrive. In other words, they seemingly already know it’s lost.
Thankfully I received promotional credit but a gift for my friend on her birthday. Being delivered evidently is impossible now even when ordered 4 days before it was to be delivered that day. Fix this mess and next time use USPS or UPS like the rest of us do. Logistics or whatever you used (which you don’t even exactly know or will not say) is a disaster. My one star is for the agent that issued the refund because he knew they messed up. Total disaster and feels like a sign of things to come. For Xmas, order early and pray.

I’ve been a long time buyer from Amazon and I have never once had such a horrible experience with customer service! I purchased a gaming PC in January from a 3rd party seller that I later learned was damaged. Contacted the seller and the manufacturer and never got any responses so I contact a rep to request a partial refund acknowledging that I was past the 30 window. The rep approved the request and sent me the label and the shipping instructions. Seller tries to deny it stating they’d send the pc back if attempted.
Pc gets sent back while I’m at work and is received on the 9th of September. It is now October 11th and the seller has not issued a refund or returned the PC like they said they would. I Contacted the seller and another rep who told me that I could file a claim and receive a partial refund if the seller didn’t respond. They even offer a refund from another order as compensation.
When they didn’t respond two days later, I contact another rep and ask to go ahead with that claim like the other one stated. They tell me that I can’t because it’s past the 90 day mark and tell me that regardless I shouldn’t have sent the item back. So that warrants me losing $565 AND the item that I paid for, even though I received authorization to do so? Okay. I told her that the first rep that I spoke to told me that I could which she doesn’t acknowledge. She tells me that all she can do is email the seller and ask them to either refund me or return the PC. I ask her what my options will be if they don’t, and she says “there are none. There’s nothing you can do because you shouldn’t have sent the item back”. It’s been four days and like I predicted, no response from the seller. I’m not even sure she actually emailed them. At this point, I’m sick of being given the run around.
And I find it funny that ANY time I try to bring up or question why I was given approval by other reps, or ask why and how the refund request got approved, also by an Amazon rep, if I was never allowed to do so, nobody wants to answer the question or acknowledge what the previous reps said. They’re fully aware that they’re scamming people and it’s honestly disgusting. Once I get this resolved, I’ll be sure to delete my account and never make another purchase from their site again.

I have been shopping on Amazon since 2012 and have enjoyed shopping there until now. Amazon recently informed me that there were unusual activity* regarding my reviews and they would remove them. I then contacted Amazon and asked them to clarify and give me more details as I was absolutely dumbfounded by their accusations. Like most Amazon customers, we write product reviews just to help others to make informed purchase decisions.
To my surprise, they refused to provide any specific information and seemed to escalate the situation further. They replied: ‘As a result of your inquiry regarding this action, we reviewed this case and our decision thoroughly and have come to the same conclusion. We will not restore this account's ability to contribute with Community content.’ What it meant was they removed all my previous reviews and banned any future ones. What really disturbs me is Amazon accusing me of wrongdoing and violating their community guidelines that I had no idea about but refused to provide any evidence or information.
I then appealed my case again and sure enough they sent me this: ‘The email you received on 09-29-2021 was sent to you in error. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.’ They said they would restore my account's previously contributed reviews but as of this moment they haven’t done that. I am truly shocked by Amazon’s ‘strong arm’ approach that they could accuse anyone without providing any specific details, even though they weren’t sharing any information with other parties but me. This incident has caused a lot of confusion and frustration on my part. Customers who take the time to write reviews deserve better treatment than aggressive form letters sent out by what seems to be a robotic customer service centre.
Anyway, I am done with writing Amazon reviews and will better make use of my time.

This makes the 3rd time in just about a month that I have ordered from Amazon and given a delivery time only to go check the status and find it has been changed. The benefits you pay for by having Amazon Prime are untrue. You pick your delivery date and they get it to you when they want and then you are expected to wait at home all day to get your order because they just leave it at the door. Amazon Prime isn't worth it, and calling customer service isn't any better. Just excuses after excuses. Walmart's version of prime works much much better and I get my stuff when they say I will or they contact me to let me know why there will be a delay instead of just changing it online and you happen to see it if you check otherwise you don't know they have changed it on you. Worst customer service ever!

I've been shopping with Amazon for about 10 years. Most of the time, I receive my order by the delivery date. Of late, I've experienced unfilled orders, late deliveries and once, I never received the purchase. Amazon refunded my purchase in the form of a gift card. I was given an option of gift card or refund my credit card. I chose gift card because it would've taken several days to receive the credit back to my card. Normally, if Amazon delivers the purchase, everything is fine. However, if they use a third-party shipper, i.e. DHL, FedEx, I might get it about a week to 2 weeks after ordering. Overall, I will continue to use Amazon. I use them mainly because they have products that I can't find anywhere else and a better prices. As a prime member, shipping is free. Years ago I would recommend Amazon to anyone. Now, I'm not too sure. Customer Service should be improved.

Normally on Amazon if something doesn't work out or it isn't what it's supposed to be it's a simple and easy return. However recently I ordered something and was told as I have been in the past to bring my UPS code to ups store, return it and in 2 to 4 hours I would receive an Amazon gift card credit which I chose. I did as they asked within a couple hours and I never received the credit. When I called the next day I was told "oh this is a 2 to 14 day return process for this item" which annoyed me because the item I returned Was a blanket cover and now my down comforter did not have a cover on it and I can't find one conveniently locally in retail so I reluctantly agreed although what else could I do, to wait the 14 days at which time I was told if I did not receive the refund and the item had been received by them, that I would get a full refund on the 14th day.
It's 20 days later, I'm still waiting for a refund as it is confirmed that they received the item in fact they received it 2 days later. However their customer service department has not processed the return and I'm sitting here without a credit and customer service messenger or phone Is useless and they're telling me that I have to wait to be contacted by them. Seriously? Terrible customer service. I feel like they took the item back and will not ever give me this refund. I can't help but to feel I've been scammed.

I bought a 4 pack of my favorite cookies so that I could give some to a friend who had never tried them, but they arrived in a paper envelope. Two of the boxes were crushed in multiple places; but when I tried to return them, I was told that "This usually doesn't happen" and that there would be no refund because "the item is still usable". I felt like they were calling me a liar, so I sent photos of the boxes and the envelope. I was more insulted that they told me that the cookies were "still usable"; if I had seen these boxes in a grocery store, I would have left them there. The fact that they expected me to just suck it up only pissed me off; if I wouldn't accept it in a store, I'm not going to accept it online.
Also, items that can be smashed during shipping should be placed in a box, so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again. After complaining loud enough (I tend to complain when I pay good money for something and it's not the way I expect it to be), I finally got offered a refund. In the end, I will probably keep one box, give one box to my friend and give the other two to kids in my building. Lesson learned; don't buy food from Amazon!!!!

I decided to return the watch, I went to my Amazon account to request a return authorization. I was informed that there was a procedure that I had to follow and I was provided a website that I had to go to. I went to the website, I answer some questions and at the end, I indicated that I wanted to return the item since it was not working as advertised. I received a response directing me back to Amazon customer service.
Back at Amazon customer service, I inform the customer service rep that I was directed back to them and they responded by again telling me that I had to go through the site that I was provided and that they needed to receive a response from that website. There was no limit to joy until they realized that the phone was not in the box. There was Type-C charging, instructions, a case, and there was no phone. After that, I carefully checked the box, but found nothing. This caused me a lot of bewilderment - is it possible that the largest company in the world can deceive its customers.. I began to write and call in support, but they could not help me - they said to call the police.
When the emotions moved away, I drew attention to the package, there was written weight - 0.4 kg. I put all the parts back in the box and put them on the kitchen scales. And what I saw was 435 grams. That is, the phone was not from the very beginning of packaging and delivery! I later explained this to support, but I was still sent to the police. Once even the consultant said goodbye and, without finishing the conversation, he hung up! Obviously, this is an internal Amazon case and the police will not solve anything, but I still turned. Amazon USED to be a good company with good Customer Service but it is absolutely AWFUL now. Four days ago I got an email from Amazon notifying me that an item I ordered had been delivered though in actuality it WASN'T. Consequently, I called Amazon to let them know and get my payment refunded. I asked for an email documenting the phone conversation I had with them in this regard and was led to believe that the situation would be resolved the next day. That was not the case and I went on to call Amazon REPEATEDLY FOR DAYS and every Customer Service Representative I spoke to gave me a different story but all promised that the problem would be quickly resolved and my refund issued in very short order.
I got numerous emails from Customer Service Reps who all said they'd not only resolve my situation but would call me to make sure it of this but NONE OF THEM EVER CALLED ME! Today when I called the Amazon Customer Service Rep told me there was nothing she could do because the situation was now in the hands of their "Special Investigations Unit" and that she could do nothing to help me, despite all the promises that had been made in the multiple emails they had sent me. To make things even worse, this Rep told me that I could not speak to anyone on the "Special Investigations Team" because they don't accept phone calls from Customers and might not accept emails from them either.
I then insisted on speaking to a Supervisor and when I was connected to one I immediately asked why I was sent so many Customer Service emails saying the situation would be quickly resolved rather than telling me I'd have to wait for some "Special Investigations Team" to finish looking into the matter. The Supervisor refused to answer this and said that there was nothing she could say and that I'd just have to wait for their "Special Investigations Team" to finish investigating! And how would I know when that would be I asked, and she responded: 'They'll email you. You can't contact or talk to them on the phone". What if I don't get their email, I inquired, the way I never received any calls back from the Customer Service Reps who promised to phone me? And how did the Customer Service Team SUPERVISOR respond to this question? SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!
This UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL behavior - particularly coming from a Customer Service SUPERVISOR - is INEXCUSABLE but it's thoroughly consistent with what Amazon as a company has become: a bloated, DISHONEST and DISREPUTABLE behemoth that has no integrity and absolutely no regard for its customers. Amazon's "Customer Service" (which should be called "Customer DISSERVICE") is as despicable as the company itself now is and no one with intelligence and self-respect should continue to do business with them.

Similar to a story I just read about an account being LOCKED, my acct was closed because I was initially told that I received credit for items that I did not return. I questioned them as to what specific item did I not return and was given credit...because there was none. Then the story changed to..."Well we were just making sure that you are getting the service you expect." A few months went by and I purchased and return an item because it was poor quality. Well that's when the fun began. I received the same email that originally said that I received credit for items that I did not return. Again, I questioned it and asked them to tell me ONE item that I did not return. Then came the email that apparently I did too many returns. As a result of that, my acct was closed.
Since when is there a limit on the number of returns a customer can do? I again questioned the logic of this. Amazon, like many other online businesses do not have store locations where customers can go in and try merchandise for size, quality or comfort. So is a customer supposed to keep an item whether they want it or not? I never asked for anything out of compliance with Amazon's return policy. I tried to appeal the decision and was told that my account will stay closed. It seemed that the specific individual was personally watching my account.
I called customer service and was told that there is nothing they can do. I spoke to a manager who apologized and understood my concerns but could do nothing. She suggested that I can open another account. I did that and lo and behold, the Amazon police shut that one down too. It is unfortunate that honest paying customers have to be treated this way. Like the previous account holder who was LOCKED out, I have had my acct for over 20 years and have faithfully paid for every single item or service I have had with Amazon. To be treated this way is shameful. Amazon should not have dishonest people working there. I will be reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection agencies as well as all social media.

We've complained about this three times now in the past year. Tried talking politely to a driver once and got glared at.
Calling Amazon is a joke. You get connected, always, to people in India, not in the US, and they put you on hold while they "check things". Then you get told that they can only help you if the driver delivered YOU a package so that they can identify him. This is nonsense. As this driver's actions did not relate in any way to my home, account, or any order that I had placed, I advised the calltaker that I needed to file a complaint as if I did not have an Amazon account. I had the location, time of day, vehicle description and license plate of vehicle, and description of driver. It is difficult to find quality products in any category, they seem to all be cheap knock-off products with innumerable problems, ranging from poor quality to wrong products sent to customer service that can't be reached. Just this year I had two instances of discounted products never arriving, and I got an email the day it was supposedly arriving saying that the item was cancelled/unavailable. The first time, they sent me a replacement, but the second time, they told me they couldn't send the replacement for "technical" reasons I couldn't get to the bottom of even after half an hour on the phone. The item was still in stock according to the web page, but now more than double the price.
I've also ordered a couple items, and gotten a different item shipped. I attempted to return the item for replacement, but Amazon states that the item can't be returned. Following the link for more information leads to a circle with no answers, and I still can't get the product I ordered. The reviews are being gamed for tons of products, you can't trust star ratings or even reading through the reviews anymore. Even fake-spotting apps and extensions are becoming useless. I am an Amazon customer since 2002. The customer service used to be exemplary. It has progressively become unprofessional, no solution-contact us many times retailer. It is very sad, as far as I am concerned. I will make my purchases elsewhere going forward as it has become so hard to know how the purchase, cancelation and/or refund will work. The processes change and the employees themselves do not know what to advise so all of them say something different. Very poor experience!

8 months I have charges from Amazon so easy to overlook 13.77 per month. I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT. Amazon said too bad they couldn't help me call my bank. Wouldn't recommend. This is theft and this company knows this happens and doesn't care to make corrections.

Amazon no ** supervisors. Few ** shoppers has earned them. The first place we need to dethrone because without the people they don't exist...yet with that much wealth no one should be hungry sick or deprived of any healthcare... This whole racially motivated situation has prevented me from getting my grandkids the rest of their school supplies... Amazon started off in Jan by allowing a inside worker or a outside hacker steal 60 dollars out of my account... My bank got that back for me... 2 months later $500 was stolen from my account for a amazon trade in...and amazon refund my money nor would they close the account. They kept it open. Wouldn't transfer the funds anytime. I put bank info into that account my account would then be exhausted...
Amazon never gave me my money back. They used every excuse in the world not to... My bank ended up stopping the claim as if I was the one doing fraudulent activity...yet they still would not give me money back.. For 30 days I called and called about my check they was stolen from me. Making me late for work for break even putting customers on hold because that was all I had, and kids were hungry and I needed my car out of the shop...all because of some trade in cards illegally added to my account would steal money from my account if I tried to purchase a item. Only compensation was a buy from amazon ship from amazon gift card promotion which limited my spending yet 400 dollars was stolen from me and they were not giving it back and didn't give it back... All amazon was apologize and treat me even worst as time passed...
For a whole month I'm upset because that money caused me to lose my car and eventually my job because of the multiple times I was late speaking with the CSRs about my paycheck which never got refunded... I became irritated about my money that I had worked hard for 2 weeks for and it stolen within seconds after I purchased 2 pair of glasses and seconds later my whole bank account was drained. Wrote BBB. Wrote everyone I could yet I could not get my money money back. Lost my car because the mechanic added 50 dollars a day... Finally they make me settle for the promotional buy and ship by amazon gift card and I was pissed but what could I do being the wealth greedy owner is the cop and the robber...And still would not give my money back. Ended up losing my job because I was being late talking to amazon during break. All they would tell me is they are sending a message and someone would call me back...
Now 4 months later amazon is back on their race to make my race suffer... Refuses to refund 6 items I sent back on Aug 1st... a shirt that a too small... a tarnished bracelet... a heavy iron 2 DVD burners and a pair of glasses... It is now the Aug 12th and this is a part of the reason why amazon is so wealthy. They take your money and your item and sell your item you sent back. Might give you a refund, might not and it will be a lesser amount. I was told that my refund would be uploaded in 2-3 hours on Aug 1st when I took my pkgs to UPS... After 10 calls supervisors hanging up on me...saying I'm lying then I'm told I'll get refunded once amazon receives the pkgs.
Still no refund. Next lie is I have to wait for 3 weeks. That is not a way to treat older customer who is on a fixed income, lost his car to amazon in April, finally got a new one and still being lied to and treated so un-American that I really think they have notes written on me and they are racially profiling me...treating me less than a man lying to me and not honoring what the first CSR told me and which was the same way the UPS lady said she gets refund on her packages and that was take them to UPS and receive the refund in 2-5 hours. Her name was Laura and they can listen to the first call...
If I'm not treated with more respect then I feel this website should reconsider the treatment of their customers and I never spoke with any ** supervisors only 2 reps. Rest are other nationalities. But what concerns me is how is it that I have to wait 3 weeks for a return nor did amazon ever refund my money...and my account was breached last night. I told 3 employees and a supervisor and they ignored me...
If I was in a light shade skin they would have sent the firetrucks, the army, navy, air force and marines...and I have even more speak about how I'm being harassed in my email...as if I didn't return some pkgs but they were taken and boxed up at UPS...yet I'm supposed to start my shipment when they get to amazon yet the shipment isn't my concern after it was dropped off at UPS...it became their responsibility... But being I'm a ** male...we still are hated just as our mothers, fathers and grandparents were but they wanna be just like us...
Please someone assist a older ** male that knows he is being used and lied to and treated very unkind by a wealthy greedy company who I can't beat because I'm on a fixed income and I had to save up my last just to get another form of transportation, still no job, both that amazon caused me to lose... And I don't want to have to go on IG or Twitter to get attention just because I wanted to get my refunds so I can buy my 2 granddaughters some school supplies... I've called everyday since the 1st and I'm owed compensation for all this I been through from car to job these refund that amazon refuses to credit.....
I used to think amazon was best until they allow someone to breach your account. Could be a hacker. Could be inside job...never know but I do know they will change the policy at any given time and it's nothing you can do about it.... Even this video tells their refund policy never have I had to wait almost 3 week so people if you are darker shade expect a few issues and unexpected policy whenever they want to...and I can't do nothing about even this video tells their policy on this page... Mine was done by gift card and debit.. No one goes through this process... Feels similar to a police following around a store for no reason...
