Be very careful when handing your credit card info over to Amazon. I called them after discovering charges for services I wasn't using like Prime and movies. The charges were on my card but not associated with my account. They said they would turn it in as fraud. When I checked the next month there were more charges and Amazon gave me the same response. By the third month I was over $100. into this. At this time Amazon decided it had to be a friend or relative using the card with my consent. When I assured them it was not they said I would have to take it up with my credit card company. Amazon knew who was using my card, even giving me the initials of the person, but would not identify them. Would not prosecute them for the theft or allow me to do so.

When I told them I was not authorizing the use of my card for ANY account they told me they wouldn't accept that unless I could identify the account that was using it. The solution was the inconvenience of multiple chargebacks and canceling and reissuing my card. I still have no idea who was using my card or how they got the info. They were able to use my card for hundreds of dollars of services and they walked away without so much as a slap on the wrist. Please keep an eye on your statement because Amazon will absolutely protect the thief.

Amazon is now using chatbots instead of people for customer service. The chatbots have very limited function. There is no way to get to an actual person if the issues is not something the limited chatbot can handle. Just another way that Amazon is part of the race to the bottom economically. I have sent info to the seller of my items twice. Once in September and again in October. Of course, no one at Amazon follows up on these issues if you don't get a response. You just get to spin your wheels and waste time with a limited function chatbot. As a general rule, I try to avoid ordering from Amazon because of terrible service if there is a problem.

A delivery driver added “suite 1” to my address. I have no idea why. When ordering I am given the option to accept the incorrect address or edit it. Editing it does nothing. I am just brought back to “the driver fixed your address”. I chatted with support and they were unable to fix it, finally saying “I added a note to not use suite 1” to your delivery instruction. 1st of all that removed the helpful instruction I already had and 2nd THAT'S ABSURD! After several “escalations” in the chat, I was told that the issue is fixed and I will be see it in 24 hours. Okaaay. Chat was closed, no way to contact further. I asked for a complaint form and was told “no worries, I’m documenting it”, 2nd request for a way to file an actual complaint and I was given the product review guide.

I have been a loyal customer of Amazon for years & there were times that something went wrong but they corrected it. Over the past 2-3 years, something has changed & things are getting worse. Yes, Covid hit & that created problems everywhere, but Covid isn’t a big issue anymore so they can’t blame that. I am a prime member & there has been a few times where I had ordered things same day or next day since their site offers it, but many times I have been told my delivery is running late.

On a couple of deliveries, I got a notice that my package(s) were 10 stops away so I watched the tracker so my package wouldn’t sit on my porch. On the 1 stop away notice, I waited, and nothing was delivered and there wasn’t a notice sent. I had to go into my orders where they told me my packaged was running late & I would receive it within 2-3 days. SERIOUSLY? To talk to anyone at Amazon, you have the choice of having them call you which isn’t quick or doing a so-called live chat and the reps treat you like you are a criminal.

If my package is late or not delivered that isn’t my fault. Love when they tell people to prove they didn’t receive, how are you supposed to prove that? Yes, there are people out there that say they didn’t get it when they did, but many people aren’t like that, and I am one of them. I pay for Prime; I order things and I expect to receive them within the range of time I am told when placing the order. It is frustrating & something needs to change.

This company obviously cares little about me the little senior and would rather squeeze us than love our business and loyalty. So be it, me my family and everyone I can tell will start using other providers like eBay, etc. Thanks Amazon for destroying your customers and putting a sour taste in our mouths. No fun shopping with you after years of loyal patronage.

I dropped my return off at the UPS store on 09/15/2023. As of today the site was still saying that my product was not received as of yet. I spoke with a customer service rep on the phone. She stated that she can see it was return. I would have to wait another two weeks before receiving my refund. I asked why I had to wait one month for my money to be refunded. She stated, "It's not a month. It's another two weeks." I stated, "I returned the items 2 weeks ago, you are telling me I have to wait another two weeks which is a month." At this time I was told it was because they haven't received the product yet. I stated that was impossible because she just told me it was received and I only live 1 hour from 6 warehouses and UPS doesn't take two weeks to deliver and she had just told me the system stated it was returned on the 15th of September.

Was then informed that they will not give me my refund before the 15th of October and they couldn't just send me the items in a new size because they don't have that option and there was nothing they could do. I have been patiently waiting to reorder the shoes in a different size but am not going to pay again when am waiting for them to credit my account. I buy a huge amount of items from Amazon, but after dealing with this I am thinking I will find a new online retailer.

Well tracking showed arrived/delivered. No package delivered/arrived at location or office. Contacted customer service chat. They had no proof of delivery and ended up with the conclusion of a missing package. Gave me a few options ...When I asked for a different option, they proceed to tell me ..."Oh we're sorry. 10 days' worth of orders are missing from my orders page. A return is missing, and I think others from more than 10 days, customer service said they have passed details to another support group.. Customer service is not capable of servicing the customer. I kept the order numbers, and when I look by number, I see a message saying that they suspect my account is being used by someone else, and I received an email saying they would call within 10 minutes to verify the order was from me. Never received a call. Called customer service on that issue. Got the run around.

Customer service cannot help, will forward details to someone else, but turnaround is 24 hours. The item was an e-card for a birthday for someone in hospital with a major issue. I am in Amazon Limbo. Amazon has no customer service. Bottom line, they will take the money, but if there is an issue, it's not their department. I tried Amazon Complaints, but all that gets you is a message to call customer service.

I am a 73 year old male with moderate hearing loss. 12 years ago I purchased my first pair of hearing aids for a little over $5000.00. They definitely helped at first but a year or so later they didn't. So, I continued to wear them since I paid out all that money until I realized they were useless to me. So, I saved up some money and along with my insurance company I bought a new pair, these cost me $1850.00 out of pocket, plus what the insurance company paid. They were supposed to be top notch. From the beginning I noticed I heard things I usually heard much louder and still missed the things I couldn't hear before. The company was great to adjust them but I never could say they were a great help to me, but I wore them for several years. Then I read about the OTC hearing aids vs the hearing amplifiers.

I checked on Amazon as I usually find most of their items good and they have a great return policy. I ordered a pair of LENTORGI (receiver in the ear) hearing aids. They offered a coupon and they were around $175.00. They are rechargeable and come with a great little case and full instructions. The hearing aids were the smallest I ever had, and fit perfectly in my ears. For the first time in well over 10 years I can hear everything and the sound quality and clarity is no less than amazing. So for me, the OTC hearing aids were far superior than the ones I paid thousands of dollars for. I am sure it depends on a person loss of hearing, but for me these are the best.

Sadly, Amazon no longer provides the quality customer service they once did. I've had several orders never delivered and they always ask if I "checked neighbor's homes" etc. This is not my responsibility. My last missing order actually says the driver handed it to the resident. I live alone and was at work at the time of the delivery. They insisted that I need to wait another 24 hours to see if it mysteriously shows up. If it was still coming why do I have a tracking that says the delivery was handed to me? They are also very inconsistent with delivery times. When you call customer service they just don't care. This company is not standing behind its products or deliveries. It's time another company jumps in the game with good customer service.

The card that gets charged for my Amazon Prime membership expired and I had unfortunately not updated it to the new card in time, so instead of amazon contacting me by phone or email, they charged a random card that I had used to purchase something a long time ago. That card is linked to a checking account I don't really use anymore so I was overdrafted and got a $30 overdraft fee from the bank. The bank wouldn't refund since the prime charge was legitimate so I went on to amazon's online customer service chat to see if they could help. One woman passed me to a supervisor named Fatima. Fatima apologized and said that she would refund August's charge to the card that shouldn't have been used and to make up for the $30 bank fee, she would refund me for June and July's charges as well.

Obviously I was at that point a happy customer, until... Two weeks later and not one refund had been received. So I call this time, instead of using the online chat. I don't know the name of the man I talked to, but after placing me on hold twice, he lets me know that even though HE COULD SEE the convo I had with Fatima, he couldn't honor her promise because it was "against policy". I can't believe he was able to see the convo I had where a supervisor stated that she'd refund me and was still unwilling to resolve the issue. I was so disgusted I cancelled my account with them. Honestly, I hardly watch anything on prime video nor do I really order anything anymore, so my membership won't be missed. That company doesn't deserve a single dime from anyone if that's how it's going to operate.

I made a purchase with Amazon online on May 18, 2023 – order #**. The order included different shipments and were to be delivered at an Amazon locker located at Amazon Hub Locker - Sweater Map - 11599 W Colfax Ave - at 7-Eleven - Lakewood, CO 80215-3707. (1). The shipment was supposed to be delivered on May 23 (2) but was anticipated by Amazon to be delivered on May 20 (3), a date I was not in town to pick up the items. Indeed, the items arrived earlier than expected and were supposed to be picked up by May 23, with Amazon informing that it not picked up, they would be returned for a full refund (4). Noticing the delivery, I requested that the items be held for an extra couple of days (5) but was informed that the items had already entered the return process (6).

That same day (May 24, 2023) I received an email from the associate Dylan saying that the package was marked as undeliverable and would be returned to Amazon Returns Center, asking me to wait up to 30 days to be processed (7 and 15). So I waited for 30 days and as no refund was provided I contacted Amazon once again and chatted with Shubham when I was assured a special department was tending the request and I would be contacted by email (8). On June 22 I received an email (9) and answered back with an incident report (10). The reply from Amazon (11) was I should wait again until the item are scanned by FC.

Since that date, I chatted with associates innumerous times (12) – with more than 30 pages showing the chat history. After a while and with different answers, I started getting emails that my claim would not be considered as it was submitted more than 90 days after the promised delivery date (13). This started Aug 18, 2023, even before the claimed period. When checking the current tracking number of the order ** Amazon says the item was undeliverable (14-15-16). The situation is absurd as Amazon anticipated a delivery date, did not attend to my initial request of holding the items, arranged for the return from its own locker and using their own return service and is claiming my request was started after a supposed due complain date when it was not. The company has been acting wrongly since the start of the problem and has not held to its part of honesty and reasonability. The refund of USD531.76 is still pending.

As an Amazon customer I can tell you that their Prime membership is a lie. The items I'm supposed to have delivered in two days are never on time. Many of the sellers go out and buy an item for cheap then jack up the price and sell it to you. For example, I've seen many dollar store specials being sold on Amazon for 10-15 dollars. You're being robbed! I have been a reviewer for Amazon for years. We are given an item for free, only if you leave a detailed five star review. You first buy the item out of pocket, then when you're five star review is verified, you will be reimbursed. I stopped reviewing for them when I got an electric razor for women. It actually pulled the hair so badly that I had multiple blood spots on my legs. I tried being honest with my review and Amazon deleted it.

I wasn't willing to give this item a great review and lie when it was so dangerous. So I stopped giving reviews. Support the smaller businesses online please. Quit using this company that was built to manipulate and rob you. We're all way smarter than this. Check the prices next time you go to buy from Amazon, then check the reviews of your items elsewhere. Many places offer free shipping so that ridiculous prime membership fee is a joke.

The three were auto-shipped by Amazon but each with a separate order but in a common bag. I finally got two of the charges reversed by Chase, but the third--the hair dye--remains an open dispute. There is no image option here or I could show what the interior of the shipping bag looks like with the exploded hair dye.

I've deleted everything from our subscription list. And now that I know the categories of items that are nonreturnable and nonrefundable (virtually all consumables, OTC drugs, and health and beauty aids), I'll not buy again. Further, since I have Prime, I have no minimum order, so I'll not order two items at the same time and Amazon can pay Chase a transaction charge for each item I buy. The Amazon truck can just come to my house every day. However, the big change will be reinstating my Costco account that I allowed to lapse during Covid.

Please be careful with Amazon and their MacBooks. I purchased a MacBook from them that was just opened by the person recently. The MacBook would only turn on when connected to the charger. We took the MacBook to Apple and they explained to us that the serial number on the MacBook had previously been registered and that the MacBook was out of warranty. They also indicated that the MacBook was refurbished and not brand new as indicated on Amazon's website.

I contacted amazon with the information. The first rep agreed to return the MacBook and refund credit card. I explained that I no longer had the credit card and would like to just exchange the MacBook. The rep came back and explained that they couldn't return it because of the time that had passed after talking with a supervisor. I questioned this because at first it was ok and now it's not. I spoke with many different reps and now all of a sudden no one wanted to help. I am out of $899 with no working device. Apple is asking for $400 just to look at it. Amazon refuses to stand by its mistake and it's a shame. Please do not order laptops from amazon because unfortunately they will not stand behind their products nor will they be honest about the product being refurbished versus being new.

I ordered a toy for my son, who is autistic. This is relevant as he expected it to come overnight and was very excited. It didn't come. I figured out how to contact customer service, which is a pain in and of itself. I complained that it didn't come, but they say they "escalated" it and it will arrive tomorrow by 8:00AM. All day my son is upset. All day he is waiting for the package. Anytime a package comes he gets excited and then is in tears.

I wake up the next morning and look outside. It is not there. I call again. I ask them to be honest and tell me if they lost it. We could have cancelled and gone to the store or I could have even re-ordered as it was supposed to be available same day. The guy says it is on a truck and will be there by 8:00AM. He said the truck had mechanical issues yesterday. 8:00AM comes around. It is not there. My husband calls. Turns out they lost it yesterday. So, they lied to me. I called them up to complain because my husband was over it by the time he was through talking to the person. The lady asks if I asked my neighbors where it is? No. You guys told me it was on a truck and then said you lost it. For all I know, your third party delivery person stole it. No real solution offered. In the past, this would have been resolved yesterday.

I buy a lot from Amazon. Like a lot. I don't normally contact customer service either. This experience was the straw that broke the camel's back. I am greatly going to reduce how much I buy from them in the future. We cancelled all our subscribe and save items. I will do in person shopping. I am not going to spend $10,000 plus a year with a company that doesn't value their customers at all.

Now instead of offering their customers a printed label, they are requiring people to return items for them to a UPS store, etc. When an item is damaged, the customer should not have to go out of their way to return the item. A label should be able to be printed so the item can be picked up by UPS.

I ordered this printer 4 days ago with a 2 days delivery from Amazon at a good price (-21% + 50$ added discount). I am a loyal prime customer since 8 years, at least, with a lot of purchases. As I was supposed to provide the 1-time pin code to the driver for delivery of this amazing printer, and the tracking was showing delivery between 2 pm and 4 pm initially, I had organized my day to stay home. At 4pm, I was "next stop" on the map and the driver was 2 blocks away from my house. At 4.30 pm, not seeing anybody, I checked again, the driver was still at the same place and the delivery moved to 7 pm, while he was still 2 blocks away….

At 5.30 pm, I see now the driver is in Simi Valley, CA at an Amazon center location, 30 miles away from my house. I phone the customer service, who literally just says what I can read on my screen…. So not useful at all.

The day after I go to this center in Simi Valley, CA where they tell me to go complain in Chatsworth, CA as they cannot help locally. Well ….the driver obviously stopped here and had the printer loaded in the van there. So why cannot they help? Being now in Chatsworth, we check, and printer is tagged as "missing" in the system. We phone together Amazon customer service over the phone, same thing again, not useful at all, we are even told it is not missing and it will be delivered this same day for sure.

Now today Saturday 07/29/23, same status as 3 days ago. The information are not even updated on the tracking. I phone the customer service where I am being told to wait until the 11th of August (in 15 days) to ask for a solution if I have not been delivered in the meantime. After saying I didn’t agree, I did ask to speak to a supervisor, who finally told me literally "I cannot do anything else and I will hang up", that he did while I was continuing speaking.

I phoned again 2 hours ago, after having selected "cancel this delivery", and spoke to another lady to whom I explained the whole story. This lady, this time, was courteous but told me she cannot tell me anything about this sad situation and will escalate the issue….and I cannot even order another 1 at the same price that I ordered! Now if I check the delivery status, informations have magically changed: I can read that I refused the delivery because the order was canceled before. What??!!? So now Amazon is changing the storyline?

To summarize, basically my printer was loaded in the van, the driver stopped 2 blocks away for a while and for any reason it did last, then he decides not to deliver me and goes back to the Amazon center 30 miles away. The van stays overnight and suddenly the printer is missing, but in the end, it is me refusing delivery because the order was canceled!?!? Something is definitely wrong but it is being cover-up obviously. Leaving aside the fact I was hang-up by an Amazon associate representing the management, and all other associates telling me what I could read!

As it is not an isolated case, aside from huge money losses (and in this case how is it handled with Epson…), it says a lot about the "Customer experience" or "Customer centricity" mindset being practiced at Amazon:

    - customer being held hostage if the ordered item has suddenly disappeared
    - customer being hung-up if not satisfied
    - customer unsatisfied left unsatisfied
    - customer is not a priority, Amazon decides to hang-up as they don’t have any solution, and decides that you have to wait the period of time they decide

    - customer is being handled by low-cost countries personnel, just repeating what they learned and not customizing their answer to your own concern. In the end, the service is more expensive, being paid for…..nothing except providing informations you already have on your screen.

Obviously, Amazon is not set to handle expensive orders/ items that can suddenly disappear, and for which you can be held hostage for a while. I know now that I will prioritize Amazon for cheap items but not for pricier ones where I will go in a store, or order straight from more serious companies (Best Buy….). It was not like this in the past, so Amazon has taken definitely a wrong turn, probably being the result of short-term cash-only oriented decisions. But this is another story….

I was a prime member to Amazon for years. I ordered almost everything off of Amazon. After years of ordering and thousands of dollars spent, I no longer support Amazon. My first negative experience was an order I place and never received. Contacted customer service and requested a refund, as I needed the item for a party. It didn't arrive and a replacement wouldn't get to me in time. They said they would open up a claim. I was annoyed to not receive my refund right away but continued ordering as usual, thinking this was a one time issue. Made another few orders and UPS had me sign for one of the boxes. The box contained an item I didn't order. Confused, I went to my orders and realized an item I did order, said it was delivered and I had not received it. That tracking matched the box of the item I did not order.

Get to customer service again and this time I beyond annoyed, as this is the second order within 2 weeks that I did not receive in time, for my needs. I call to complain and get a refund. Amazon required me to waste my time and gas money to return this item I did not order, to get my money back. I did and supplied the tracking number and they still would not refund. Then I also get an email that my claim was denied for the first item. When on the phone with customer service over this, they hung up on me, more than once! I was told something different from almost each representative.

Amazon customer service used to be great. I never had a problem before this, that wasn't solved quickly and kindly. I am very brand loyal. I will never be using this company again, urge others to save their money and time by avoiding them as well. Amazon is not the same as it was. I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I won't get my money stolen and then hung up on!

Most recent gaff is that they keep sending me updates on the delivery date on an order I received weeks ago. They repeat it for the same order, so I'm guessing they'll keep updating "delivery" forever. Still, have to check to make sure it's the one I already received. Contacted customer service bot (or maybe it's a real person, hard to know) each time, but I'm still getting the emails. It's funny how my daughter can get an order to her house in two days and I live 50 miles from her and if I order the exact same thing it takes over a week to get to me and I am a Prime member. The thing is I complained to customer service and when I was getting my orders in two days they suddenly went to taking a week. Amazon has no problems still charging me for my membership even though they refuse to fulfill their end of the agreement. That is nothing more than stealing. Amazon has joined in with the rest of these big companies and could care less about customer service. So what if a customer stops shopping, they will never notice.

I asked customer service which warehouse my order is being shipped from and they said they didn't have that info. Yet last night I had a customer service rep tell me. How could she tell me if they don't have that information. The thing is, the rep that told me last night said I was shipped from the same warehouse as my daughter was. That tells me Amazon has marked my account to be shipped with a big delay in retaliation for me complaining. No other way to explain it considering I use to get my orders in two days and all of a sudden it stopped and add in the fact I am shipped from the same warehouse as my daughter and she can get the exact same order in two days. To hell with these big companies offering all these big discounts only to stop giving them and end up lying to their customers.

Over the past 4 weeks I have been told no less than four times they were giving me a promo credit of $10 and was told that again tonight. My thing is when they give this to you it can never be seen by the customer. They say it will just show up on your next order that Amazon sells and ships. Well over the past four weeks I was never given credit from the promo money and when I asked the rep tonight what was my promo balance he said just the $10 he just put in there. That is why Amazon does not let you see the balance because most of the time it is really never given like they told you it would be and if for some reason they do they hope you forget about it and eventually they let it just disappear.

Wake up folks, Amazon could care less about their customers. They will do what they have to, say what they have to just to get as much money as they can from you in exchange for as little as they can. I myself am talking to an attorney to see what I can do for Amazon refusing to live up to their end of the Prime agreement.

The scammers were having gift cards delivered to our home, to be picked up by someone.

Twice, twice I say Amazon told us they will not be delivered! While at work yesterday... Guess what... Amazon tried to deliver the package. I watched the driver ring our bell three times. The driver stood on our porch for a while, as he was on his phone texting someone, who was he texting?? We have never had a delivery driver ring our bell three times. What is going on here? We became prime members years ago because of the convenience of online shopping, free shipping, and easy free returns. A few years ago they started raising the price and shipping away at our benefits. Now they are awful. Are awful. We pay all this money and have to drive miles and miles to a Kohl's or Whole Foods for free returns. I even had a damage item I needed to return and they charged me for a shipping label. Their decisions are petty and not customer centric.

They're offshore. Call center has customer service reps who behave like robots. They are scripted beyond repair and dealing with them is miserable. I had an issue that was escalated and spoke with three different supervisors who were even scripted. It was ridiculous and I got nowhere.

Their delivery drivers walk through my grass and flower beds. I have reported them numerous times and all I get is smoke up my butt from that offshore customer service. They are taking on vendors who are also offshore and produce very cheap and low quality products. Each product I have bought outside of their fallen apart where I have returned because they are just crappy. After several complaints to Amazon to have them pick up the item, they finally did, but after waiting more than a couple of weeks to see my credit, it never appeared. So when speaking with Amazon customer service again about the status of the return, I was informed it finally was received and would be credited back to me once it was checked after a week.

About a couple of weeks later I called again about my credit and was told that they would give me a merchandise credit, though I previously informed them to refund my credit card. After several attempts to remedy my issue, I gave up and turned it over to my credit card company to dispute the charge. I’m very reluctant to continue my business with them, especially since my purchase was not as advertised, nor was it the first time an item didn’t meet expectations of the advertisement.

I have ordered a lot of things from Amazon. I have to say they are the biggest liars in the online shopping arena. I order things that say it will arrive next day and have waited months to get things and some have never arrived. Customer service is a joke with this company. I had an order I was waiting for and I checked my account, it said it was delivered. I went outside and looked around to find absolutely nothing there.

Requested a call from customer service and was given the runaround by a lady who kept saying “Sir your package was delivered.” I had to repeat myself at least 40 times telling her, "You did not deliver it to the right address then because I am at the shipping address and it is not here and was never delivered." She even had the guts to ask if I wanted to order it again (and said I would need to pay for the items again) to which I lost my mind and asked, "Why would I pay for it again, you did not deliver the first order." I had to explain that Amazon took my money and delivered no product and explained to her that is theft.

The lady wasted over an hour of my time arguing with me and promised a credit to my account for my troubles. Never got the refund and never got the credit for my troubles. It is pathetic that the executives at Amazon allow their second-rate joke of a company to function like this. I am done with Amazon and will never order from them again. I will use their joke of a site to find what I want and figure out who makes it and buy direct from them. Most companies will even beat the price listed on Amazon after you contact them and explain why you want to buy direct from them and cut Amazon out of the picture.

Updated on 06/03/2023: So I have been requesting my refund from Amazon since May 5. I’ve called about 10 times at this point and every time I’m told my refund is being processed again and they will make sure to contact a supervisor and my money will be back in my account. Well it’s June 3. I called again today. No money still. Now it’s another 7-10 business days my money will be in my acct so I’m guessing in 7-10 days I will be calling again to see why my money hasn’t been returned. And I can’t forget to mention when I called today the First Lady who answered my call was rude and soon as I asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me and locked my acct. So when I called back the gentleman who answered unlocked my acct. and said there was no reason for her to lock my acct and that he would note it to the supervisor.

original Review: I ordered a product from Amazon.com. It did not work like they said it would. I sent it back on May 5th 2023 which was two days after receiving my product. Got my receipt that the product was returned and I have called 4 times since May. 9th 2023 to see where is my refund and every time I'm told it's being processed that the refund is stuck in their system. How does that even happen. Called again today. Spoke to a supervisor who said he is taking care of it and has to write a new ticket to a different department but offered me a credit on amazon that I could use immediately for my refund amount in which I declined so he said it would be what do you know another 7-10 business days to see my refund in my account that was supposed to have been in my account on May. 5th 2023 and it is now May 26th 2023.

I have spent a lot of money on Amazon and have had some good product. Some not so good but I must say the last year Amazon is terrible and you can never just get an honest answer from anyone. It's always, "I'm not sure. Let me place you on hold" and you wait for a very long time just for your issue to not be resolved but at this time I'm not taking a loss on any more of my money so if they don't refund my money soon I will be contacting an attorney as I have every email from where I have had to keep calling to get my refund and they email me back to say my refund is being processed. At this time I don't think I will be ordering from them for a while.

Ever ordered a product from Amazon that said it would be ready (and delivered) next day? Ever had that NOT HAPPEN as advertised? I am getting quite sick of it actually, as are many of you. Now, their new method is "item needs approval." Let me explain how it works - They throw a teaser out to see how many people will click the bait, then only send a few out (predictive ordering) - then they notify everyone else there has been a "modification" to the shipping times - which effects delivery (in the middle of the night, so you don't get it right away).

Well, if you are as tired of it as I am, there is hope. I am having my attorney family member look into a "LEGAL LIABILITY" for breach of contract. Let me explain how this works. Amazon (or subsidiary) advertises a product they do not have (or they over sell). Customers then order (and pay for the product in good faith that the contract will be completed as offered). The act of paying is indeed the acceptance of the offer of the contract. Now, Amazon is IN CONTRACT TO HAVE THE ITEM DELIVERED WHEN PROMISED, REGARDLESS OF BAD WEATHER OR UNEXPECTED HICKUPS ON THEIR SIDE. Failure to fulfil that contract is called "BREACH of CONTRACT" and while Amazon (and others) would like to ignore the penalties, and just offer cancelation of the product they can no longer deliver, it's a bit more complex than that.

Time is of the essence- and oftentimes Amazon was chosen because of their (FALSE) advertisement that they can deliver the specific product at the specified time (WITHOUT DELAYs). So, in the situation above, if someone has RELIED ON THAT CONTRACT (the act of paying in advance can often be legally enough to relied on the contract), then Amazon (or which ever company) is now liable for the product (and time) they have sold (under contract). The breach of that contract can include things like loss of business, or time, delays in business due, cost of replacing/finding an alternative because they are now in "breach" of contract.

They are also likely liable for any and all cost associated with making the situation whole again (fancy way of saying legal fees associated with collecting the money in a timely manner), WITH INTEREST BY THE WAY - REMEMBER, THEY TOOK YOUR MONEY INSTANTLY, THEN COULD NOT DELIVER). Then lastly, there can be several large penalties called "punitive" damages. (Again, a fancy way of saying, to prevent you from thinking you can run your business like this we are going to give the person you are in breach too a bunch of extra money on top of what they are due, just to prevent you from doing the same thing in the future). These fines or fees can be quite significant.

So, the real trouble is, going to an attorney, finding someone that wants to take the case, then won't charge an ridiculous fee, makes this quite difficult and complex. So, companies like Amazon keep lying and breaching contracts because for the bulk of the population there is little that can be done. However, in this particular instance - I have an attorney who is a relative, who sees this happening on a VERY CONSISTENT basis, and they TOO are tire of not only AMAZON, but other businesses that BREACH contracts. So, stay tuned, we are investigating how to make AMAZON completely liable for LYING ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY HAVE, AND WHEN THEY CAN GET THEM TO CUSTOMERS. It really wouldn't be this much of an issue if we didn't PAY FIRST - and that will make all the difference.

To be honest - we've all had it happen and are fed up - we only need find but 1 judge who has either had it happen directly, or to a family member (thanks why congress passed a bunch of laws a few years back directly targeting bad business ethics in banking by places like Bank of America - who....has had nothing but financial trouble since). Amazon will not allow me to post this similar post on their site, so I am coming to here to ensure the post is seen. If you do not like this review - or you want a better one - DO NOT ADVERTISE PRODUCTS YOU DO NOT HAVE IN THE USA OR CANNOT DELIVER BY THE TIME QUOTED. It's really simple - tell me (us) WHEN YOU CAN DELIVER IT, THEN DELIVER IT BY THAT TIME AND DATE.

I, like so many of you, am tire of business making promises they cannot keep, then allowing them to skate on accountability. That seems to be the missing component in society today, let's rid the world of "Californication" (As the Red Hot Chili Peppers call it). Let's bring back accountability. I am tired of the "Twitter style" shadow banning, and I think AMERICA is too. The difference is now I can do something about it, not just with words, but also legally (and I am).

Buying from Amazon is increasingly a gamble and when you buy something falsely advertised by a seller they will reject your truthful negative feedback claiming it somehow violates their guidelines. Shame on them. This has happened multiple times to me. Example: I recently purchased a product based on its description of features including pictures in the advertisement that indicated the product had certain features. When I received it the product was completely different. When I posted this in truthful feedback with pictures and nothing profane or anything like that. My feedback would have protected other purchasers from being duped by this false advertising. Yet Amazon rejected it. This just shows Amazon has no concern for the people who buy their products and cares only to protect the increasing number of shady vendors on their site selling fakes and falsely advertising their products.

Here is what I wrote. You be the judge if this should have been rejected. "This is for the 40A 200W 5V version. description is FALSE! See the pictures. Says "... there isn't fan inside the case, silent running. Metal case with many holes makes heat dissipation more efficient." Well that's WRONG. What I received is a solid metal case with a noisy fan in it. The product is not as advertised."

I'm now only buying big ticket items from Amazon, and things that aren't available at the other site. My last two Amazon orders have been completely messed-up. One was never even shipped. I finally called them and they canceled the order then sent me "a replacement". They weren't sure what happened.

The order I received today was a nasal rinse starter pack. It arrived timely but was completely missing the salt solution; they were supposed to send me 30 pods. It's unusable without the salt pod. Today I realized..."why am I still paying for Prime?" Terrible customer service and sloppy orders, and when I call in for help those people can barely speak English. Also, there is no timeline guarantee anymore, and since my items are spendy I will get free shipping anyway! They no longer allow us to review their customer service on their app, we can only review "verified purchases." Amazon is failing quickly.

Whenever I have a problem with an Amazon order the customer service agents always tell me "It's a 3rd Party seller, we will reach out to them, if we don't hear from them in 48 hours you need to call back." I'm a collector of watches and have purchased many watches on Amazon. I recently purchased a "supposedly" Limited Edition watch which has the serial number 0001/1977 on the back.

(Two major problems with this purchase), I found the same watch model with the (same serial number) on another (reputable website) at 4 times the price, this told me the watch I purchased on Amazon is COUNTERFEIT and also explains why the watch does not run properly. I have purchased dozens of watches on the other website therefore I'm confident they are selling the REAL watch. Amazon and the 3rd party seller have refused to refund or explain how Amazon and another major website can sell the exact watch with the same serial number, and not investigate the FRAUD.

Finally I called Customer Service (not sure where they are located but pretty sure not in the U.S) and they tell me the product must be lost in shipping! So they are going to credit me the amount. Meanwhile I have two other orders that when ordered showed next day delivery, but now are 5 days and counting! I asked Customer Service about my other order which was placed on 4/5 and is showing to be delivered today. Nope! His screen shows it arriving on 4/14! What is happening with Amazon? I do not know what is going on with Amazon, but I received a wrong item, would not let me return or replace, charge me the amount for the product I ordered (the one received was $20 cheaper). Amazon assumed I would just accept it. Ended up having to call customer service, which is fun! Then, I received an email that had both of the items being delivered, were wrong. Had to call customer service, again. Finally, I have had an order "in process" for over a week now, and would not let me even know if it's in stock or let me cancel it (I found the same thing, less expensive and I have already received it). Again, a call to customer service to get it cancelled. Previous products I have gotten were supposed to be new, but it was obvious they were used. One item was my face wash, which is a white lotion. I received a bottle, the box was open, the security cover gone, and the bottle was filled with brown liquid. Ew. Seriously, go somewhere else.

I contacted support first through chat and I uploaded screenshoots of the conversation. I was told if I purchase a different model for 99.99 that I would get the item listed above. I called to confirm and I was told that's not true. For the most customer service oriented company in the world they miserably failed. This was obvious false advertising and Amazon was aware of this. I spent 4 hours on the phone getting hung up on etc...

Eventually they issued a 100 credit which is still shorting me by $64.99 from the advertised price of $99.99 I was also told that an item I returned via Amazon gift card credit would take 2 to 3 hours to process back to my account once I dropped it off at an Amazon fresh location. This was also a lie and the customer service representative told me it won't be available until 4/20/23. This is 2 weeks to refund me an item I delivered to their location for an Amazon gift card. I live in Seattle. Why would it take two weeks? I looked on their website and I confirmed that it only takes 2 to 3 hours to process a gift card during a return. This company has humiliated me. I use Amazon.com daily. I purchase so many items my neighbor thought I ran my own business and needed daily supplies. Therefore I am torn on wether or not to stop using Amazon and switch to my stores locally. Amazon has a serious issue with deliveries. They deliver to wrong addresses, state a delivery time then do not deliver at that time, tracking will say package is four stops away then just switch to “package is being shipped back to merchant”, delay shipping, lost or broken items in shipping bags or boxes, and call for some deliveries with no explanation why.

Amazon would be perfect but this is a major flaw that I believe will begin to affect Amazon's customer base. I believe they stopped caring once they became so large. You can never reach anyone who you can understand, They will never give you anyone to contact that is not a customer service rep. I think Jeff Bezos and Mr. Jaffy forgot how they became the world's largest online retailer..it was your loyal customers! It not the staff and worker's fault. I still giving 5 stars and mostly thumbs up depends on what happen. I still do not like how the workers are treated. I hope someday it will be better for them.

My issue was one of my deliveries was very late. It was supposed to be on the Mar. 13. It was delayed. It wasn't shipped yet. So the order said it was very late. It came on the Mar. 17. Of course I give the delivery man a thumb up. One day later on the 18 I thought there was a discount for a very late delivery. No. I got $5 back. It like I was charged at full price. They taken out $105.45 out of my account. They make that kind of money I mean a lot yet this happens with a policy. No wonder there's more negative views then positive. And the ratings, less rare positives and more negatives. With the way things going I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon doesn't make it big in the future. After this experience for one of the little people I don't think I'll ever see full stars for Amazon. My first review about them yet it's a bad review. Or is it that they just don't care. In the end after hours of effort you will get a refund but they no longer offer any solutions other than just tell you, "Sorry. I have filed a previous complaint against Amazon with the Washington state AG's Office a year ago, & they got another complaint filed today. Their distribution centers continue to override USPS de-prioritization requests, loading flat-rate boxes full of heavy items, to then have the local post office refuse to deliver their packages to me due to size/weight concerns. I have severe health concerns and cannot drive daily to the post office to stand in line for 20 to thirty minutes and risk contracting Covid, FLU, &/or RSV. Just this week, the post office refused to deliver one package, threw another in a neighbor's yard in the rain, and threw another behind a vehicle in my driveway. Clearly, they are behaving in a passive aggressive manner to get me to stop ordering from Amazon.

I reported it in Amazon chat and was treated disrespectfully by (Dinesh **, Febin, Aashish **, and especially Neha). Neha said I should pay for a post office box, and travel to and from the post office daily, even when Amazon drivers, FedEx, and UPS all deliver in my neighborhood daily for Amazon. She refused to forward de-prioritization concerns to higher ups and refused to chat further after she and her team wasted well over an hour of my time playing games. It was bad enough that Amazon had been fraudulently charging me twice for Prime membership (monthly and yearly), but now they are refusing to honor their prime membership agreement by refusing to make sure packages are delivered to my home like they do for others in my neighborhood.

I have stipulated front stoop delivery in my delivery instructions, and stipulated that there is a huge Rubbermaid box on my front porch for packages to be placed in to keep them dry during rain storms. I have also stipulated not to use the USPS. I have reported USPS issues to the postmaster general multiple times within the last several years. Clearly all this has done is make the problem worse. The India service teams won't let you speak to someone in the US. They refuse to correct shipping issues and will not forward concerns to distribution staff to permanently remove the USPS as an option for the delivery of my orders. They wear you out with multiple transfers to their friends sitting next to them and snicker as they try to work you up further so they can hang up on you. They are truly unprofessional. It often takes 8 or more calls to Amazon to get any resolution.

I got an open, empty mailer today from them, and it took 5 calls to get someone who'd address the issue. The individual who delivered the item took a picture of it as proof of delivery, and the mailer clearly was open and empty in their picture. SMH! I'm hoping the attorney general's office will assist me in getting packages delivered to my front door. Sitting on the phone with the India team is frustrating. They won't forward concerns out of their little group, are poorly trained, and aim only to get rid of you as quickly as they can by hanging up on you or transferring you to everyone in their call center, trying to get you to hang up on them. Since the USPS is not happy delivering locally, it makes sense not to use them for shipping. In the past the USPS was de-prioritized, letting Amazon drivers, FedEx, & UPS deliver.

All was fine for awhile until someone at a distribution center overrode the de-prioritization. Then it takes filing a complaint with the AG's office in Washington State to get it put back in place, because the India team won't forward these issues to distribution logistics. Clearly a big part of the problem is farming out customer service to people who are in another country, not well trained or supervised. Their only goal is to get rid of you fast. Agitating people further seems to be their go to move to end calls quickly. They truly don't give a hoot about assisting anyone, period!

It was no mistake, they offered the refund although I said I would be happy with a credit because they knew they were going to cancel my prime membership. After I discovered this, I called back obviously. I said specifically I did not want to cancel my membership, the first representative told me that I would have to re-subscribe. I have an annual plan that is up for renewal this summer. Effectively telling me I would need to pay the subscription fee again.

I bought a product that said it was eligible for return. Sold by NUSApure and shipped by Amazon. When I had a problem with the product Amazon referred me to NUSApure and they referred me back to Amazon saying that they do not interfere with the process. So Amazon is selling the product saying that it's eligible for replacement or refund when it's really not. I just want customers to be aware that when they purchase something they may not be able to get their money back if there's a problem.

Amazon requires email authorization. My email address was deleted by mail.com so I had no way to receive the security verification email. I always considered Amazon to be the best in customer service, but this time I was extremely disappointed. Since mail.com was being so difficult, I thought if I called Amazon it would be easy to let them know what happened & change my email address. Wrong! I was asked security questions like what were the last 3 things in your cart & what's your last 3 purchases on a account I hadn't shopped on in over a year. When I couldn't answer those, I was told all he could do is help me create a new account. If I wanted a new account I would have created it by myself.

I enjoy shopping online & I like to look back at my lists & past purchases. However Amazon offered me no help in getting back on my account & proved to be just as helpful as my ex email provider. Not at all! This is absolutely crazy to me, because Amazon could of simply offered to verify by address & perhaps sent something to do it by mail. They know where the customers live! I have never written a bad review on Amazon, but why lock a customer out of their account if they still want it? I thought Amazon was all about customer service & making the customers happy. I was really hoping Amazon was going to help me get back into my account & not treat me the same as other businesses who go don't value their customers. Sadly, they're becoming just like everybody else. I would give them no stars on how they handled my issue. As a customer, I'm not at all happy.

If an Amazon driver claims he delivered your package, he may be lying. Amazon used to be reliable; not anymore. Three times last week they pulled that “delivered” caper on me over four items I bought. Yes, 4 items “delivered” in two sets (and each set “delivered” two more times.) Among them was a cabinet too big for a casual porch pirate to steal. Here’s why the incidents were no accidents. I’m sorry this note is long, but I want to leave no room for doubt.

I live in a complex of more than 1,000 apartments, which has a large package office manned all day, every day (including weekends), located right at the main (Leasing) office, and prominently marked. Yet Amazon drivers apparently ignore the package office and claim they left my packages at my front door, or that they actually gave it to me (a really brazen lie.) The nature of that lie (below) clearly shows deliberate action. On 01/25/23 their tracking note said, “Your package was left at or near your front door or porch.” It wasn’t. After two days I thought they had made a mistake; I called Amazon and they re-ordered all 4 items.

On 01/28/23 Amazon driver called me at 11:30 am, saying he was “at your front door with your package.” Because of the earlier incident, I asked him “Are you sure you are at the correct building, number so-and-so?” (Our building numbers are written in clear, white, foot-high lettering on the bright-blue awnings.) He said he was sure. I rushed down there, arriving in less than one minute. (I live 30 yards from our front door.) I checked around our building; no man or truck was anywhere in sight.

Just six minutes after he called me, I called him back, and found he had used a one-way Amazon phone that accepted no calls. His phone just directed me to contact Amazon. I did, right away, and asked “Jagjeet,” “Shanice,” and “Daniela” in succession to call that driver and connect us so I could get my package. (I still thought the man had made a mistake!) They refused to call him. Daniela, a supervisor in their Logistical Support unit, only offered to refund me and to write a report.

Daniela asked for my order #. As I looked in my Amazon account to get it, I was shocked to see the driver had noted for tracking, “Your order was delivered. It was given directly to a resident.” (If he meant he gave it to me, that was a clear lie; If not, to whom did he give it?) I read that message out to Daniela, who noted it. She later emailed me to say that she had submitted her report. Not relying solely on Daniela I also sent email to Amazon describing the experience. The next Monday a “Vamsi” responded, saying he was from the Amazon Executive office. He and another executive (“Gladys”) promised to investigate. Two weeks later, I’ve heard nothing from them, in spite of my follow-up to ask for info. And they have made no refund to me. I’m suing Amazon in a Small-Claims court. I’ve also reported them to BBB, FTC, IC3, and my county’s Consumer Complaints Commission. I shopped at Amazon for 25 years. I’m done with them. Reader, beware!

Recently in the last 3 months ordering from Amazon is a complete nightmare. Slow deliveries, wrong items, apologies (you know they aren't sincere just repeated dialogs) and charging for returns because they weren't able to fulfill an order. On top of that when they make a mistake they want you to deliver the product to the carrier which in this case is miles away for a shipping mistake they made or if you ask for them to pick it up because it's their mistake they will charge you $5.99 on that and claim you no longer need the item or return shipping pickup.

At some point because of the circles customer service puts you in to no resolution you get livid and they expect you to be calm and courteous all the while they basically rip you off. Yet if you get livid with French and colorful words they send you notices that you violated their terms of use all the while screwing you over by actually not fulfilling orders, deliveries and customer service to which I might add that they are a market place and that pretty much sums it up. Lack of service from a service provider, breach of terms.

I have also learned this is at the discretion of the agent you speak too. For instance late night will go to a different call center across the world. When you call you can tell by how they confirm your account. I decided to call back 10 hours later and how interesting I was able to get the refund but the last agent from a different call center quotes a policy that is clearly "flexible". I was sold a used item: The advertisement said NEW, and I reported, to Amazon customer support, and the customer support Mishandled the whole problem. The reply I received said it was not delivered, and said to donate it? And gave me $31.97 refund added to my Gift card with a stipulation I that I must only use it to buy from the same seller, and I could not find anything worthwhile, so I found another Item that was very similar. I then contacted Customer help online chat, and kindly ask if I could buy a similar item and can I use my Gift card to buy the item, they replied. It is my gift card I can buy anything I want. I said OK. Then they ask me I wanted to transfer the money back to my bank, and I replied "NO" and they kept repeating the question, I ask, "Am I chatting with a machine or a real person," in reply they, "Yes real person," and I said I do not want my money transferred at all, and want it to stay on my gift card. They said OK.

Then I went to use it on a different item only to find my gift card empty. I called them to explain. The first call they hung on me. The 3rd call I got ahold of someone who could not speak English very well as usual. So, I tried to explain and the man kept interrupting me talking real fast. I ask him to let me finish what I have to say and told him I need my money returned to my gift card. He got angry and said he is not authorized to transfer any funds, I tried to explain and he hung up, so I called again and got the same answer, and they said, "I am sorry but I am not authorized to transfer funds." So, I myself reloaded my Gift card using my bank Visa card so I can buy what I want, and I proceeded to buy something else I needed and my gift card was denied because I was 38 cents short so I added more to my gift card and bought it.

I then called my bank the next day and ask if any refund from Amazon and no, so I went back to online chat and requested a phone call, and a man who also did not understand English started to ramble that I was wrong, he said he saw there was fund in my gift card, "So I see you have refund on gift card (I explained I reloaded it)." I ask him to slow down because I could not understand a word he said, he hung up. So at that point I was upset because I was informed another item I ordered that I need most was told it was out of stock and I willing to wait for it with no expected time of delivery, at first I said OK, and went to buy what I need and went to same seller that I ordered it from, and it was not out of stock, and after I already waited 11 days, I added more to my card and ordered it with my gift card. I then I called my bank to see how much my checking Balance was, and it was only $112.00 left.

Being there is still many days till the first 02/01/2023, I found something wrong, there was money missing. So I called again said I need my money to refill my prescriptions so if she could see if the fund could be added back to my bank account or my Gift card so I can cancel my new order and use my gift card to reorder and she replied She not authorized to do so. And we said goodbye. She could speak English so I took advantage of the thought I could ask about an order I just received that came with a missing part, in her reply she said she would give me credit of 10 dollars on my next order and it had to Amazon Basics, so I found something I needed and had reload my gift card to buy it to find she only added 5 dollars. I added more and decided to buy it.

I feel I have been lied to and if no one was authorized to transfer my funds I feel they broke the law for transferring the funds. The manager gave me on my gift card. They also denied me to talk with a manager. I bought 39 items and a valued customer with Amazon Prime with Firestick. And if I cancel I will not be able to use my firestick as I was not able to in the past when I had to get a new Visa card, and found out Amazon cannot prevent from using Tubi or YouTube, yet somehow I was unable to watch anything. Now I want out of this mess and may want to cancel my prime tv later when all my late orders are fulfilled and delivered.

Now I have spent the last 3 days trying to get amazon to help me. So sorry again. I am reporting Fraud and an illegal money transfer from my gift Card to my bank without my consent. There is so much more but I feel there will not be a limit of how many letters I can add here. What I say I can prove with emails I received. I also noticed every time I call and they want me to read what the manager said, my email as stacking up to I could not find it and before I found you again, I had deleted well over 1000 Amazon's advertisements each time I called, so I deleted them so I could find important ones.

I do have ADHD and other LD's so please excuse my spelling and grammar; it has taken me 2 hours to fill out this form. I have spent so may days trying to get them to understand me and they still talk so fast. I cannot understand a word they say, and keep stating there is no manager around to talk with so they are covering up that they illegally mishandled my personal funds. I am too tired to add any more at this time.

I even received one order (vitamins) where the envelope was EMPTY and looked like it was never sealed. It's been pretty aggravating...

I have been a Prime member for many years. Their price went up, yet their service is horrible. I always purchase using the prime selection because I paid for it. The item will show delivery date as tomorrow. AFTER I paid, the tracking says 3 days - it was an ink cartridge - what is hard about that. I ordered a dart board (toy - no sharp objects) for my 5 year old. On the 22nd, expecting it on the 24th. It showed up on the 28th. When I called them, "We're sorry" from everyone including supervisors, yet no remedy. So, my warning if you pay for prime and expect a certain delivery date, check after you paid, and see its later, then cancel it immediately. Sooner or later Amazon is going to get the message. You can't charge more money for something you are getting worst at doing.

My son purchased a quilted blanket for his sister for Christmas. He made the mistake of purchasing a King/Cal King instead of a Queen/Full. We attempted to exchange the item for size, but was only given the option to return and repurchase the item. When trying to repurchase the item, the price showing was double what we paid for it. We contacted customer service to see if they would adjust the price to what we had originally paid for the item only to be told that they could not do that. We asked to speak with a supervisor and were transferred to someone on the leadership team. We explained the situation again and again were told that we could not exchange the item and that they would not adjust the price on a new order. We asked to speak with their supervisor.

At this point, we received a phone call from "the" supervisor. A man who said he was the end of the line and could not transfer us any higher. He refused to help us in any way. He said the only thing he would help us do is return the item. If we did not want to pay the higher price, we did not need to reorder the item. We questioned why every department store small and large could exchange an item for size at the price originally paid for the item, but a company like Amazon could not even adjust the price of the new order to match what we originally paid. "The" supervisor was nasty and we were told if he could not help us return the item, then he could not help us. To me this is absurd!

Customer Service is the department that is to attempt to help the customer. This was a simple exchange that they were completely unwilling to help with. Beware of buying special deals with Amazon as I feel this is a money grab they have going. Buy an item at a good price and when you try to exchange it due to a size issue, they tell you they can only refund you the price you paid. Then you must buy the item again at a much higher price. Incredibly poor customer relations if you ask me. Shame on you Amazon. TLB/JTL

I use not only Amazon but Walmart, Target and King Soopers (part of Kroger). Those other 3 are killing Amazon in getting things out fast and being delivered quickly. The normal Amazon delivery is about 6-11 days now. The others, 2-4 days. I even tried their "Prime" again and it made no difference. 6-11 days. I don't know if Amazon is that short of help or just have bad help. I am now shifting more of my needed items to the other 3. I would give Amazon less than one star if I could.

I would make good size purchase amounts for Business orders. So when I would make like a $200 purchase, on top of that there was a hold for the same amout. Because of that, I ended my subscription. I purchased an item from Amazon, when we opened it up we were able to see that this item was way too small for our granddaughter to use at all. We immediately asked to return this item, and we were told we would have to pay for the shipping as This seller is a 3rd party seller. On the listing for this item, there is not one word telling buyers that if you need to return you will have to pay Shipping, plus 25% Restocking fee, plus Insurance, plus signature confirmation. This item Cost us $379.00 to return it will cost us a bit over $650.00. Amazon will not help us in any way. They say we must go through their new A-Z warranty, which is a big fraud in itself in my beliefs. This so called warranty is just a ploy to have customers think they are helping? When in fact the only people they are helping is their 3rd Party Sellers. PLEASE< PLEASE do not buy on Amazon from any 3rd Party seller.

I cannot imagine any store saying you cannot return something, anything because it is smaller than advertised? I believe almost anything could be exchanged at almost any store. NOW EXCEPT AMAZON. I appealed their decision to deny me either 3-4 times, oh yes, there is not a phone number where you can reach any live person to talk to, you just get what looks like a computer generated response, every time you appeal, This is one of the responses I was given:

"Please return the order to the seller at the following address: -- Return address : Alex **." We recommend following these best practices to be sure that the seller receives your package:
-- Include the order number and any return authorization number on or inside the package:
    -- Insure the package.
    -- Use signature confirmation.
-- Provide your return tracking number and ship receipt to the seller.
-- Ship items via USPS when the seller's return address is a P.O. Box."

All at our own expense, as I said before of a cost of almost $650.00 to us.

I do need to add a fact: On one of the phone calls to Amazon, I happened to get a very nice agent, name Annish. He said, "Please give me a few days and I will get this resolved for you, I promise you a call back." Well I was driving on the road and the phone rang, it was Annish from Amazon. He told my husband and I that the refund was just approved and we should see it within 3-5 days. I was very happy, I thanked him for his work and I asked for an email confirmation as I was driving right now. He said no I cannot do that because of something jumbled that he said, I ask for him to say it again, and then he said, "I am sorry. I must hang up now."

Wow. We have it all worked out well before the 5 days were up, we got another denial, so we filed an appeal explaining what had happened with their employee Dinnish, they ignored it and denied our claim again. Now the story really gets strange, we say to each other my husband and I, well they are forcing us to keep this item and lose our money. We said, "Well now what, we can try to sell it for like $200." My husband says, "No, you know what. Let's give it to a charity or something like that." We discussed and my husband said, "Our Nephew! They are a young couple just starting out, Just bought a small house and they have a new baby girl. What better could we do with it than give to a young family that would really appreciate the gift for their daughter."

So we agreed, it was Christmas eve and we were invited to his mom's house for the evening with many others. So we decided to put the thing together and bring it over that night with a giant bow on it for her. Okay good. We know now what to do with it. We start to take out the pieces to put it together {which we never did, because we noticed immediately, looking at the body that our granddaughter could never fit in this}. Again we start taking out the pieces, looking for the instructions, and now guess? The box does not have a battery inside and the wiring was all cut like ripped or something.

Okay back to Amazon on the phone, pushed to get a supervisor. She was very nice, but said she could do nothing about it except we have to send it back. I then explained the costs associated with doing that. She says again,, "Amazon will not allow anything over the A-Z warranty. I am sorry but I cannot help you, Amazon will do nothing for you!" But she said, her advice is to "Contact your bank and get them to force the refund."

So I guess this is what we must do, we are stuck with a 400 dollar ride on with no battery and ripped wires. As well Amazon will do not one thing to help us. Also the third part seller's name is: worldwidetraders on Amazon, please do yourself a favor stay quite clear of this seller, and beware of any 3rd party sellers on Amazon. We have tried everything to be as fair and possible, including before disputing the charge with our bank card, I called Amazon one more time. Told the story for maybe the 10th time, and again no help.

I have been a Prime member for many, many years. When Covid hit, I was patient with the extended delivery times. Since then though, I have not received anything in two days or less. That was my reason for joining prime. If you cannot deliver on a service I am paying for, that service should be discounted. I have had 6 items just this month that were "undeliverable" and returned to Amazon, as well as some before that. This is unacceptable as I've been getting other pkgs delivered almost daily. The money has been refunded but the cost increased on several of the items between the first order and when I went in to reorder. I feel that this is a way they are scamming to get more money.

I have been so upset by all of my items not being delivered that I have canceled all of my subscribed orders and will be canceling my Prime when it's time to renew. There is no point in staying with Amazon when I am no longer getting the benefits of cheaper products or hassle free two day deliveries. In November of 2022 I all of a sudden couldn't log in to the Amazon account I've been using since 1998. When I attempted to log in the site was telling me an account with that email address didn't exist. I called Amazon support to hopefully get it resolved so I could log back in and access all the movies I had purchased through Prime, wishlists I had put together over years of researching the products I placed in them, etc. Through providing several Sale Confirmation Numbers I had record of in that email address discovered that the email and password to the account were changed. I didn't change them and I had while they gave me a hint that the email started with an R and ended with a 4 - I never did and don't currently have an email that starts and ends with those characters. The account was compromised (stolen).

I was told by that support agent in November that she sent a message to another department that was able and going to completely shut down the account and remove ALL of my information from it that was still there including 2 of my refillable cards that I use for email purchases. I don't keep a high balance on those cards so I wasn't too concerned with having those card accounts closed and getting a new card issued. I should have because I discovered yesterday, about a month later in December, that I have 2 charges that amounted to around $9.00 that went to Amazon MarketPlace (Prime).

Long story short Amazon told me that Amazon couldn't access an Amazon account to do anything. They couldn't access an account on their system in their database to remove my card information from it or refund the money and they wouldn't give me any kind of reimbursement like a gift card - they wouldn't do anything about it claiming they couldn't do anything about it. The card companies, thankfully, are doing something about it. I did close those card accounts and I'm getting new cards.

After over a decade of being an Amazon customer this isn't the first time they robbed me blind. Last time they did it what they did was 6 months after I cancelled a Prime membership because it was nonsense: It took 14 days to get small packages with the "exclusive 2-day Amazon Prime shipping". All was good for 6 months after I cancelled prime. I had gotten several packages without any issues, etc. Then all of a sudden I have an almost $300 surprise charge for several months of Prime membership subscription that I did not authorize, didn't ask for, and did not want.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with Amazon.com's joke of a fraudulent-allowing operation. They're thieves and they're supporting thieves. The worst part of it is there is no alternative that's equivalent to change to. I lost hundreds of dollars in the movie purchases I lost access to, that some thief is now enjoying because they didn't really close the account since they admitted there was recent activity (purchases) on it that shipped to an address that is unknown to me. I lost but hopefully will get this almost $9 back when the card companies disputing it but that doesn't come even close to resolving my losses Amazon refuses to do anything about although it was their system that failed to secure an email and password. They treat their long-term customers like garbage.

I ordered 55 gift cards for a the staff in my department at a medical facility as Christmas gifts. They were organized as 3 batches by Amazon (2 batches of 20 and one of 15) but only two of the three batches shipped, and the other was listed as delayed (when originally ordered they did not require anyone to be home to receive the shipment). I contacted customer service who assured me the third batch would arrive within 24 hours. It did not. I contacted them again and they assured me someone would get back to me to sort this out. They did not. On the third call they connected me (after much discussion) to someone who told me there were two options: either way they would cancel the loss (on their end) cards, and I could either have the funds refunded to my credit card (with a 5-6 day lag to credit the funds) or they could apply it (over the next 4 hours) to an Amazon Gift card credited to my Amazon account.

I was assured by the Amazon representative that this latter refund could be applied to a reorder of the cards. What they would not do (but what would have made the most sense) was cancel and reissue the lost cards. I chose the method of applying the funds to my Amazon account. HOWEVER, when I went back online to reorder 20 cards, first I discover they now required that someone had to be home to receive the cards, AND they would not allow the funds put into my account to be used for gift cards. I again called customer service and was told I would be called back but did not hear from them and so called back again at which time I was put on the phone with a 'manager'. This gentleman confirmed that the money funded back to me could not be applied to gift cards, and that the cards could not be reissued but would have to be repurchased.

All he could do was cancel the 1000$ 'card' credited to my Amazon account and send the refund to my bank card. I would then need to reorder the gift cards (with another 1000$ from my credit card), and by the way, for my trouble he wanted to give me one month of Amazon on the house (really?!). The story should have ended here, but it did not. It appears the person in customer service who put in the cancelation of the lost cards, applied that cancelation to the batch of 20 cards I actually received rather than the one that was lost, so more than half the cards I had (20+15) were now empty/cancelled. And of course I did not discover this until cards were distributed and could not be used. So I paid for 55 cards of which at most only 35 work (not all the cards have been tried yet).

I have already been on the phone with 3 people in customer service today over 3 hours with another promise to have someone call me back (still no call back) and I still have not been able to reach anyone at Amazon who can make this right. They now tell me I have to wait another 48 hours to get refunded for the cards they cancelled or if that does not happen another 30 days for a dispute on the cards. Not only have I not gotten what I paid for, I have lost several hours on the phone trying to get this fixed, and people I really care about have effectively received coal in their stockings at exactly the time you want to let the folks who work for you know how much you care about them. If you want good customer service, DON'T EXPECT IT FROM AMAZON!

I am sure once you get it you have to waste more time by sending them proof that their crap fraud system is broken. This is what happens when you trust trash like Mark Zuck and Jeff Bezos that drop their company to investors or sell to India customer support to show you how much they do not give two craps that you put 10 plus years into making them rich.

Then they get mad when they get sued left and right. They are about to have to settle out with me in a minute as well. I am going to really hit their pockets hard. I run my own e-commerce site and have never done this to my customers. Never penalized the legit customer for them having bad coding skills in the fraud department. All that money was stolen from good people (customers) to get kicked or blocked from their own accounts. Someone needs to really talk about jail time for crap sites like this. Ex Owner and all staff put them all in jail for aiding and abiding by customer assault.

Amazon is going down the hill and getting worse in everything. I recently ordered a few items from Amazon a few days ago and I never heard from the sellers. They didn't send an email to confirm the shipping of the items. When I check my account, there is no indication that the items have been shipped. Very slow in shipping and very bad in customer service.

This was probably the most horrible set of experiences that I have had online shopping. This company made online shopping a nightmare. I had to worry about my order actually shipping, then I had to worry for weeks about getting my money off an authorization hold with my bank... For product I never received. I am canceling my membership. I will never use Amazon for ANYTHING. I will not buy or use any Amazon sponsored or supported products. I will not listen to Amazon music. I will not purchase or use Amazon based products. I will not use Amazon streaming service... and the list goes on.... You have been replaced by Walmart... That is what happens when you stop caring about your customers and outsource your call center to India.... Walmart has stepped it's game up... YOU ARE LOSING AMAZON.... YOU SUCK!!!!

    Here we go:

    - Appalling and nearly unreachable customer support
    - Consistently late deliveries for Prime members
    - No updates for late deliveries
    - Disgusting anti-competitive practices that systematically put sellers out of business, like establishing cheaper supply lines and engaging in price dumping to corner a niche and muscle out competition
    - Ghastly hardware. Outside of the Kindle, it's all garbage: Alexa, Echo, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Dash buttons... It's a cavalcade of failed products.
    - Convoluted food shopping experience (is it Whole Foods? Is it Fresh? Is it Bristol farms? Does it go in the same cart? Will it be delivered together?)
    - Endless sneaky, trashy, old school web tactics to trick you into subscriptions, like defaulting back to "subscribe" if you go back to a page in which you had already selected "buy once"
    - Prime Video has the most embarrassing catalog of all video services and worse UX than an airplane booking service.
    - Amazon Music is the most broken application of them all, with impossible UX and an endless list of problems both on PC and Android.
    - Web design straight out of the 90's
    - Draconian employment practices, with employees forced to pee in plastic bottles because they have no time to go the bathroom and meet their impossible time quotas

    - An owner, the second richest man in the world, who doesn't pay taxes. Let that sink in for a second. This is how we pay for freaking schools, firemen and roads, Jeff.

I needed an item today. It said free delivery TODAY if I met $25 of other qualified items. I did, more than $25. Checkout said something like "Congratulations. Order will be delivered by 10PM today." Confirmation email said it will be delivered TOMORROW. I rechecked the item, which NOW said delivery tomorrow. It had been changed. "Customer service" said there's nothing to be done: She couldn't see where it said Delivery Today (because it was no longer there.)

I applied for an Amazon credit card issued by Chase. I responded to an ad by Amazon stating that the card would give you among other benefits, a "10% back for purchases at Whole Foods Market with an eligible Prime membership". I have a Prime membership. When I received the first statement, there was only a 5% back on Whole Foods purchases. The Amazon supervisor I spoke to, first told me that it was impossible and I must have misread the ad, then when I told her that I had taken a screenshot of the ad, told me she did not believe it and asked me to send it to her by email.

After I sent it by email and she acknowledged receiving it, but told me that they would not honor it anyway. The answer I received made me believe that the employee was well aware of the false advertising going on, and also well-trained on how to respond to complaints. This could have affected millions of consumers who applied for the Amazon credit card after reading the ad. It seems that Amazon's strategy is to take advantage of its dominant position in the market and get away with false advertising to make consumers apply for its credit card, without honoring the ads ...

I spend approximately 6 to 8k dollars a year either from shopping or from subscriptions on Amazon.com. I have been noticing the declining reliability in Amazon's delivery service for almost a year now. Either your delivery shows up late, (not including the orders that keep getting pushed back from 7am-11am arrival, then 2-6pm arrival to 5-10pm), shows up at a wrong address (my households orders continuously get delivered to my neighbor) or doesn't show up at all.

Amazon offers the kind "we will give full refund" but says gift card refund would be available in 3 hrs vs actual refund in 2 to 5 business days. Smart business practice because obviously if we are shopping online on Amazon then we clearly need the item yesterday. So, we have reorder the item with our gift card refund and wait another day when our prime membership was to ensure next day. So, what are we actually paying for???? I have grown to have a love hate relationship with Amazon.

I truly hate Amazon and everything they stand for, however being the only company that will deliver in approximately a day or 2, I'm limited with whom I can do business with. So, delivery is my main criticism but honestly, Amazon disappoints is so many areas I'd have to write a 5 page article to cover everything. For example, allowing inaccurate and deceptive details on products, makes canceling subscriptions a confusing multi-step action otherwise its not canceled, automated service that makes chatting with live person nearly impossible, and rude customer service from people in foreign countries who barely speak English (and quickly hang up on you). I rarely write reviews on huge corporations like Amazon because I'm just waking my time. Monopolies like Amazon can care less about their customers because they have so many, however service all around has gotten so bad that I write this hoping something will change.

BUYER BEWARE: When Amazon says you can get it delivered tomorrow they really just mean "we'll deliver it whenever we feel like it." Amazon Prime is now a bait and switch. You will not get your items when promised. When you contact them about it, they will just parrot what the virtual assistant says, even if you talk to a manager. And they just laid off thousands of employees before the holidays? Honestly Amazon is the absolute worst which is a shame considering it was a brand that built itself on customer service first and now operates like some sleazeball fly-by-night website your bank should be calling you about whenever you try to make a purchase through them. Their delays are literally costing me money. I want compensation, not to be bullied with claims that they'll refund or replace the item but it'll take longer (aka ** and take it). Amazon is a NIGHTMARE.

I have 5 cloud cams installed which retailed at $120+ each and they've worked well for us. Amazon sent an email stating that as of Dec 2 they will no longer support these devices or their companion apps. They offered to replace with blink mini cams which have been retailing at $30 each and they currently sell them on their website at $15/camera when buying 2 or more. So they're replacing my $600 worth of cameras with approximately $75 worth. At first that didn't bother me. Upon receiving the cams I installed the 1st one and immediately realized how inferior those cams are to the cloud cam. The blink mini covers half of the wood when cloud cam gave me full room coverage. This might be due to the limitation of the cameras tilt angle. The app features are lacking and is in no way comparable with cloud cam app.

The cables that come with the blink mini are also short so I'd essentially have to spend more money purchasing longer cables to match what I already had. I put the 1 camera back in the box, with the other 4 still unopened, made multiple calls to Amazon and was given the run around until I finally spoke with 2 different people, one of them being a supervisor, and was told there's nothing they're willing to do. I asked if they could replace them with the blink wireless cam since it is only few dollars more but still significantly less than what cloud cam cost, they said no. I asked if they would take back their blink mini cams and give me an equal credit to put towards other cams and I pay the difference (even though I don't think I should be paying anything) but still a hard no.

They instructed me to just "dispose of the cameras" and said they will not be offering me anything instead. I'm surprised by Amazon's way of handling this considering the amount of money I spend with them throughout the year. Being prime members for over 14 years, my family and I have DAILY orders coming thru from Amazon. We also have been paying for additional services as well as cloud cam subscription to name a few things. At this point, we have decided that Amazon will no longer be our go-to site for purchases and will first shop around before buying from Amazon. We also will no longer be renewing prime and won't use the Amazon credit card we have.

I’d ordered an electronic device which was not working when it arrived. I contacted Amazon immediately. Amazon told me to contact the manufacturer who proceeded to tell me they didn’t sell thru Amazon. I’d sent a copy of the purchase order. I continued contacting both parties and today was told that it’s beyond the 30 day time frame with which to return the item. Utter **. I’m contacting authorities, BBB and attorneys as I feel I’ve been unfairly targeted. Sad when a company won’t take responsibility and $119 is worth more to them than their customers.

Amazon refused to refund my money and refused to give me back my returned merchandise claiming they destroyed it, First: I never check my email for messages, I always looked at my Amazon app which stated that my return was on transit only when in fact they received it 14 days prior, I didn't see the emailed message, otherwise I wouldn't waited that to contact Amazon customer service, to my surprise when I contacted Amazon customer service, I was told that my return was received and my item was dispose of without any evidence provided to me to prove either way whether the item was the correct item or wrong item.

To add more insult to injury they informed me that they disposed of it instead of returning it back to me. Even though the item returned was the item received from Amazon, but now Amazon have the burden of proof by sending me back the item was delivered to the Amazon return center and according to them it was the wrong item. It was theft in the first degree to have to pay $421.88 for something I don't have. In conclusion don't believe what they tell you.
