I have been an Amazon Prime member for many years now. I have never had such bad service as I have since covid started. I pay for services in a contract that I should be getting. Obviously prime membership fees have gone up over the years, but unfortunately the service has declined. The drivers don't leave packed where the instructions state. Heck, I've come home to find out they left them 4 or 5 houses down. Many items shouldn't get wet, so I instruct them to be left around the back "under the covered area". I find them on the front uncovered porch.
Call customer service I dare you. They don't care. "I understand how you feel", no you don't. Your item aren't ruined because of illiterate drivers that shouldn't even flip burgers for a living. Everything that can go wrong will at Amazon.com anymore. I have canceled my membership and give things in other online or in store locations. At least I get it when they say I will or I have it hand when I walk out.
My favorite online shop spot, it has everything from personal products, to vintage items to auto parts. I like being able to check ratings and reviews by other shoppers. I also like the support received when needing to exchange or return an item.
Hello there. Here is my summary of events that happened and the reason why I’m disputing the charges from Amazon in the amount of $xxxx. Amazon offered me a return label through their website on 11/11/2021. I printed it out and brought my AirPods pros with their packaging to UPS for shipping using the Amazon provided label (Also on 11/11/2021). Amazon received my package on 11/15/2021. I received an email Nov 23rd that “the returned item we received was incorrect”. They did not include any item name, description, or reference number.
Confused, I wrote them back and also called them to see what was going on. Through my calls with the “Customer Service” department (which they completely differentiate from the “returns department”) I was informed that the shipping box I sent back to amazon had an empty package inside. I assumed it was some sort of mistake and I could talk with them to get to the bottom of it. After countless emails and phone calls, I was told that it wasn’t that the package was empty, but the wrong item was in the package and they “disposed” of it. What?? Is what I was thinking. After much more back and forth through emails and phone calls, I was told, no, the package was in fact empty, and then again it was the wrong item in the package, and then that the package was empty and then that it was the wrong item in the package and then again that it was empty... this loop never ended and I’ve never gotten a straight answer.
Customer service told me they can only read me some basic notes from the returns department and then I need to respond to the email from the returns department and they will get back to me. I was told this again and again and I responded to the Returns Department email again and again asking for them to look into this and clarify exactly what they are saying happened and provide any information they can about this. They basically stonewalled me and continued to send me a generic email saying “if you would like to appeal this decision, please reply to this email.” I replied again and again and again. I couldn’t get them to talk to me at all. I asked for clarity. I asked for them to investigate internally and provide me any information they can. They wouldn’t respond directly to anything I ask, or requested. I also asked them to start a claim with UPS so UPS could start a claim and investigate as well. They didn’t respond.
I contacted UPS directly and attempted to start a claim to investigate this and was told that they are happy to do so, but Amazon has to be the one to request it since they are the actual customer of UPS. (Amazon hired UPS to ship the return.) They said Amazon had not contacted them in any way. I called back into UPS multiple times to see if I could start an investigation other ways and was told again and again that they are happy to do it but Amazon would have to authorize the claim for investigation. I even requested they look into simple fraud and I reported it as such to them. They said their hands were tied and they could do nothing unless Amazon authorized it. Meanwhile, Amazon continued to give me generic response after generic response and nobody would respond directly to my questions.
Finally I got someone from Amazon customer service on the phone who said they would “be honest with me.” They said their hands were tied and it was entirely in the returns department’s hands. They said they thought there was ZERO chance that the returns department at amazon would authorize a claims investigation with UPS. Obviously I was very frustrated with all of this and looked into it further. I found that my drop-off receipt showed that my package weighed .9 lbs and the delivery receipt showed that it weighed .6 lbs. I pointed this out to Amazon through emails and phone calls. I also pointed it out to UPS. I filed a police report in Brooklyn for the police to investigate as well.
I am beyond frustrated that someone stole the headphones I returned using Amazon’s vendor and Amazon not only is keeping my money, but they refuse to investigate it internally or communicate about it OR authorize UPS to investigate it which they are more than willing and ready to do. Something very fishy is going on here and someone stole the headphones or threw them away and refuses to take accountability or look into it. Bottom line: I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with Amazon and their lack of any real customer service or reaction to them or their vendor losing my return and them keeping my money.
We use Amazon for many items. Cost is generally low, shipping free and fast. The returns are easy. I understand that returns can be taken to Kohl's as well. Also enjoy the streaming programs and free music.
Amazon used to be reliable and fast but the last few orders I posted still not shipped in OVER A WEEK! They do not respect the 2 or 3 DAY shipping promise at all even when you pay for Amazon Prime!!! Customer service is a lot worse also and I will not be buying much from amazon in the future!
Overall if you need something and can't find it, go to Amazon they have just about everything. Usually it is cheaper than anywhere else. But remember that you get what you pay for. It's extremely important to read the description and the reviews. But you also need to remember that just because one person has an issue, doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Amazon has a really good refund policy so that you don't get taken by shady people. Yeah I have received junk but the overall quality has been awesome. Most products have a 2 day delivery time. Just make sure you check to see when the delivery date is. I think way too many people get hostile because they don't read the delivery date.
Amazon may be a large company but their service is amazing. Prices are good and delivery is quick and dependable. The fact that you receive a picture of how your delivery was placed and with the time and date is exceptional. Grateful for their consideration of people's needs!
Although many posted reasons for Prime delivery failures appear reasonable and fair, I feel they’re more like making excuses for intentionally not complying with the Prime-Delivery agreement we members originally signed up for. Over the last few years I noticed a slow progression from their original 2-Day delivery to 3-Days, then 4 and now as long as 7 to 10 days! This is what many call a scam, or a con, but at least it's a Bait & Switch. Who needs to pay extra for Prime Services if they’re going to renege on their agreement with us and consistently deliver Prime products late as if they were on the standard plan?
Besides do you know that according to Amazon’s own shareholder data, Amazon collects $3,000,000.000.00 dollars in Prime Membership fees every year! That’s right…. $3 Billion Dollars a year without delivering on what they had agreed to do with our money in the Prime Membership contract. There should be a rule that every time Amazon fails to deliver on their Prime Membership Agreement, (minus sincere reasons) they must post a membership-fee refund or credit for that entire month! Then you’ll see how fast they’ll STOP playing games making excuses for being continuously late... heck they're being paid enough!
I love the convenience and selection provided by Amazon. I use them often. Makes it easy to get just what you're looking for at the best price and the items ship quickly. Amazon allows a wide variety of choices, where a store may only have one or two to chose from, it saves me time and money.
I use Amazon.com on a regular basis. The delivery options are fantastic. They give you a choice of days, where to place your deliveries at your home, and where to deliver your packages if you're not going to be home. I also like the follow up email with picture of the delivery. If there's a delay with your delivery, you are given the option of a replacement or a cancelation with a correction on your account. Concerns are handled in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. The tracking option is a welcome plus because of the detailed information. I can find everything I need on Amazon.com. I highly recommend Amazon.com. Happy shopping!
Although Amazon's support was extremely limited when my item was not delivered, all of the agents that I spoke with were nice, well-mannered, patient and acted professionally. It's not their fault that they are limited in what they are able to do. After all, they are not able to contact logistics directly. At least, I received the item the next day, and maybe the agents had something to do with it. Also, I was very happy with the quality and value of the item. Therefore, I feel that it's only fair that I update my star rating here.
Item I ordered 6 days ago arrived at an Amazon Facility IN MY CITY at 1 AM, at 2 PM it got listed as "Delayed in Transit", and now the delivery status is listed as 1 to 4 days late. Destination is an Amazon locker that closes at 11 PM. My package has been in my city since 1 AM on the promised delivery date and it cannot be inside the Amazon locker by 11 PM??? Very suspicious!!! I can no longer trust and rely on Amazon.com. I Spoke with 5 different agents and not one of them could get a hold of Amazon logistics to find out what really happened. Amazon customer service does not have a way of contacting their logistics/drivers other than ONLY BY EMAIL. All that customer service can do is say "I'm sorry." Meanwhile, if their driver decided to go to the beach rather than delivering, I'm the one who had to pay for it, and the driver got away with not doing his job.
Layout of the website makes ordering a breeze; product descriptions are outstanding and I love the similar product option. If returns are needed, it is so easy (1 or 2 clicks to obtain approval) and then simply drop off the return at a UPS store.
Almost everything you search for has many different people selling that object. Make sure to check things such as shipping because they offer different deals. As well as return and warranty information because they are individual companies all under the name Amazon.
Amazon.com is great for researching products, and selections of products. I really like checking other customers reviews about quality, and fitting by brands, and items. So you know if you need to order a bigger size, or smaller size. The customers service Representatives are always a big help, with refunds, getting damaged packages, missing orders help. The delivery people are sometimes, great, and sometimes bad. Mostly great, a few bad.
Been using Amazon for years. Since Covid company has gone downhill fast. More mistakes less customer service to impersonal. Website no longer user friendly. Stupid automated computer trying to guess what you need. Refunds became a nightmare. Delivery times are inaccurate. Used to order get fast on time delivery with a smile. On the rare occasion there was a problem a human went over and above to right the wrong. Now mistakes are a given and good luck getting thru to a human. If you do be ready to battle for a proper resolution.
Examples are packaged liquid, in box with other items, shipped where the spray pump squirts out every time the box is shaken or lid wasn't screwed on tight enough. Now drive 45 mins to UPS to return a half empty bottle of Shampoo in order to get a refund. Bet your sweet cheeks I am sending it back in the same wet dripping box it came in and no I didn't tighten the lid. Seller sends 1 item instead of 4 you ordered and paid for 3 weeks late. No problem. Spend 20 mins online going thru the robotic response. Finally get a CSR who sends seller a message with 48 hrs to respond. 48 hrs later call back and you're told, "We will send seller a message with 48 hrs to respond". Repeat 48 hrs later. Check on orders get delivered today. End of day states delivery next week. Not what was advertised. Too bad we will change the status again tomorrow.
Leave instructions to leave pkg at the gate. Come home and if it was delivered it's in the porch and your dogs are running thru the neighborhood. My favorite is it was left at gate, on porch or near mailbox. NOT 20 mins later you find it in the horse pasture. Or better yet it's frozen goods and you're going to have a friend get them in the freezer while you're at work. Come home since no delivery stated to melted ice and food thawed. Blame Covid, lack of employees, upgrades to system whatever you want but went from a solid 10 on a scale of 1-5 to a minus 20 in under 2 yrs. So disappointed two day delivery went from getting it in two days to getting it two days from shipping (which might be weeks) to you may get it, you may not. The convenience is gone. Will trade Prime membership for gas to drive to Walmart from now on. At least it's in my hand and I can speak to a human to get a problem resolved. So sad how much this service has deteriorated.
Amazon status was confusing on a product, but they would not respond. Had to contact original company. The original company said they will talk to Amazon, since they can not do anything about what is displayed on Amazon.
Amazon continues to exceed my expectation with their service. I have been a member of Amazon since 2003. Nineteen years past, I continue to experience outstanding service. Other businesses should learn from Amazon "the meaning of customer service."
Chose a 2022 calendar from the main screen at $6.48, marked down from $9.99. When adding it to the shopping cart, the price increased to $9.99. Sent a screenshot to DEEPAK in Amazon's Pricing Department and he steadfastly refused to honor the advertised price or even offer an account credit of $2.51, stating that Amazon prices were "dynamic".
I had a number clicks by a competitor on my ad for Baby Cakes a Very Tiny Heroine. Clearly they were trying to use up my budget. I asked Amazon to investigate and told them that until they resolved the issue I was pausing my ads with them. I never heard back and they have charged me for these fraudulent clicks. Google is on top of fraudulent clicks. They remove them before I have ever raised the issue. Not so with Amazon. Atay away from their advertising as competitors will just click endlessly to use up your budget and you will have wasted all of your money and Amazon could care less as they still get paid since they won't investigate, or if they do there is no follow up with the customer.
Amazon has it all; black market dealers, scalpers, con artists, child labor, etc.. The days of a trusted retailer are now gone. Ignore this company and buy products direct from the source. Any company worth its salt can sell to you direct, and has no need for Amazon.
I'm reporting my 2nd claim about this company as my account got hacked again for the 2nd time. This company seriously needs to be rebuked like Wells Fargo did and other companies like that. Amazon is a terrible company. So many customers get scammed and hacked. I don't see how they are a service. Do not do business with them! You will eventually get hacked and Amazon won't do anything about it. I'm finished doing business with this company if you can even call yourself a company allowing hackers to breed in your company like flies on poop.
On Dec 29,2021, I was seeking assistance for an item I ordered on Amazon. A very nasty, snide, downright rude "rep" by the name of Vishnu responded in a very negative way. HR is not a good "rep" or customer service person for this company. I had purchased an item in a certain size because it's the usual size that I wear in all clothing, I couldn't fit it so I sent it back because it still had the sticker on it in order to keep it sanitary. I then purchased a size larger and it still didn't fit but this time the sticker was removed and coming off. So I wanted a refund in order to purchase another design. I didn't want to send this one back due to it already being worn during trying on.
Vishnu responded with "FIRST OF ALL (which is already a disgusting tone) you ordered and chose the size so it's not on our end. It's on your end (which I agree I did choose this size after first trying the usual size that I fit, found that this product runs smaller than usual so be leery before purchasing on Amazon to begin and end with). It was very deeply disturbing the response that I received from someone who is supposed to represent a company/business in a professional manner. He was very unprofessional and so hope that he/she is reprimanded and really is fired to be honest because they really made me feel like a devalued consumer. I do not want to do business w Amazon anymore due to this very unpleasant experience. I recommend if anyone ever gets Vishnu, request better customer service. Hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Placed an order For M11 in exchange for Resmi Note 9. The exchange offer was good. It was supposed to be delivered on 26th Dec. At 17:19 got a message that address incomplete. I received 4 Amazon deliveries on 26th December at the same address. Called customer care. They assured delivery will be completed next day. Next day two deliveries with same delivery agent was marked. One was mobile and another item. After calls got the number of delivery agent. On contacting him he flatly refused that he has any mobile delivery for me with him.
Called Customer care in afternoon and was told that order handed over to some other agent. In afternoon got call from Amazon and a customer care agent and She enquired the health of product to be exchanged and also how old it was. In evening Amazon again called and gave number of same delivery agent as given earlier. Called him at least 15 times. He didn't lift and after some time got same message address incomplete.
It was now clear Amazon did not want to deliver the order and was playing with my time. I called and requested Amazon to specify whether they will deliver and again got same old reply. Finally I cancelled the order since I then I called back Amazon. The tone of the agent indicated that Amazon wanted the same. Felt really cheated by Amazon. Lost offers on Christmas in Flipkart and am now thinking of ordering thru Flipkart. At least they don't behave like this.
First my order never showed on my account info with Amazon, like it never existed, then they sent a kids jacket to me that I ordered 4 XL, return address on package was suspicious, not listing who it came from, then I entered the return address on to Google search and it came back with multiple scams, and incorrect orders received by people at this address.
I have had numerous issues with Amazon not upholding their part of the terms regarding my Prime Membership. Specifically the 2 day shipping/arrival guarantee. I can not begin to tell you how many times I have had to contact the member services staff only for them to be uncaring and unprofessional about issue resolution. Sending emails to jeff puts me in touch with their Executive Relations staff. Most of the time it is a waste. They come up with almost every excuse in the book as to why they can not honor it. Sometimes going as far as to actually blame me for not knowing the terms.
Their solution has always been to offer me a Amazon credit (which in its own right is a joke because you can only use this credit for items sold and shipped by Amazon themselves.) No, I do not want your useless credit. I want you to honor the terms of your membership agreement. 2 day shipping means that you, Amazon, must select the proper level of shipment service with UPS that will guarantee that I will receive it in 2 days. That is what your 2 day shipping guarantee means as it applies to Prime Members. Otherwise, what is the point of having a Prime Membership. NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY in this company understands that concept. The last correspondence I received from them about this issue even said, "further inquiries won't receive a response."
How would that make you feel hearing that if you were a member? If you said "not valued," then you're not alone. If Amazon treats their Prime Members this way, then maybe all these horror stories I hear from their employees and ex-employees are starting to sound true. I can just imagine what it was actually like for the employees who had to endure or parished in their warehouse in Illinois that they didn't provide tornado shelters for. I'm willing to bet the stories being told about that are true. Amazon USED to be a great company. Not anymore and it seems that Bezos probably doesn't even care anymore. Well maybe he will care when there is a class action lawsuit against him and his company for not upholding their end of the terms in their Prime Membership agreement.
I was sent open medical supplies multiple times and told not to return them to trash them and then they sent me an email a month later to return it or I would be charged. I order a cream and paid for expedited shipping to get it the same day, that expedited shipping fell off and it won't arrive until the following day. There was no sympathy from any employees when I chatted to get it when I requested it. They essentially blew me off. I called in to cancel everything associated with my prime and the employee was nice but ultimately not helpful. This was my last order with Amazon and I will never buy anything from Whole Foods either.
I ordered a bike for my daughter worth almost $500. After two days of not receiving a tracking number, I started calling customer service. They assured me it will arrive on time. Now after calling the third person and getting frustrated they told me it was out of stock. Amazon keeps your money extra days in their account, this I illegal... FROM NOW ON I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT A SMALL BUSINESS...NO MORE AMAZON FOR ME.
I ordered TRENSYGO I Love You to The Moon and Back Necklace 925 Sterling Silver Moon Star Infinity Heart necklace for my daughter-in-law from my grandkids for Christmas. I looked today and it says the item is undeliverable and was sent back to the facility. I contacted Amazon for a refund today so that I could reorder the item so that it was here for Christmas and they refuse to give me my refund today. I used Afterpay so when they issue this refund it's going to go to afterpay and not to me for me to be able to order the item again.
I have Prime and it was Amazon that was delivering the package and it was because of them that the package was undeliverable so I believe I should have been issued a refund today so that the item could be reordered. Customer service explain to me that it would take up to 14 days for me to get my money back and on the product it says 2 days so I need my money so that I can reorder my daughter-in-law something and because of Amazon she's not going to have anything for Christmas from the boys.... This is very unacceptable and I think I'm going to cancel my prime membership. Now I don't even want to use Amazon anymore because of their customer service and not being willing to help their customers get their money so that they can reorder items for their family.
They are yet to process my refund for the items that were sent back to them! The issue has been brought this to their attention, despite them knowing about it they have are taking their sweeeet time to process, but other things right gets to them if you know what I mean!!!!
I ordered an item and it stated that the order did not go through. I have been customer for years. There was plenty of money in account. Ended up locked out and having to go through collection. Paid Amazon and its collection service extra money to unlock my account and the account is still locked. It’s a scam and this has been happening to many people. It’s a money making scheme which is very sad given that Amazon used to care about customers. I have then called back and deactivated my account for good. I argued for hours about my videos and those are apparently theirs as well after giving my money for each video. I ended up using a software and backed up all of my purchases onto a computer hard drive. FYI Amazon those are my videos purchased with hard earned money. I do not recommend this website. Also most products are resales from Alibaba.com. Go do the research and purchase for way cheaper directly from distributors.
