For a couple of times, I received shipments from Amazon (shipped by Amazon) with absolutely no padding materials -- no bubble wraps, no crumbled up paper -- to protect the fragile boxes holding the products I purchased. As such, the boxes got crushed up -- not good, especially when these items were gifts to be sent out. Complained to Amazon. Following shipments were a little better -- with bubble wrap. But at times, the one-layer wrap was still too flimsy that the shipping box was crushed. Luckily, the items inside were not fragile.

DO NOT RELY ON AMAZON FEEDBACKS FOR 3RD PARTY SELLERS. AMAZON FEEDBACK DEPARTMENT CENSORS NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS. I wrote this negative feedback about a third-party seller, ELECTRONICS PRIME LLC, on Amazon. The next day, I saw that this feedback was removed as inappropriate. I contacted an Amazon prime supervisor, and he restored the feedback. The next day, the feedback was removed again. I contacted another Amazon supervisor, and he restored the feedback again - a second time. The day my feedback was removed, I also noticed that another negative feedback from another buyer had also been removed.
As a result, this merchant only has 5-star feedbacks, some of which contained less than positive wording, but were retained because they were rated 5 star. I asked the Amazon supervisor why my feedback was removed and he said that the Amazon Feedback Department handles this. Is Electronic Prime LLC working with someone in Amazon Feedback to either modify negative feedbacks into positive, or to delete negative feedbacks entirely? Amazon proudly vaunts its feedback feature to help customers decide whether sellers are reliable. If negative feedbacks are removed and existing feedbacks are changed, then no one can rely on Amazon feedbacks for their purchases.

I bought an unrenewable Sims 3 Night Life expansion pack. I didn't want an expansion pack, but Amazon is always tricky about that stuff. It didn't say expansion pack on the original title I was looking at. When I purchased it I realized I had thrown $20 down the drain. Also even if I had the Sims 3 game that I need for the expansion pack to be of use, I couldn't use it because I have to download Origin on to my laptop first. I am so disappointed that I was so excited and spent $20 on something that I can not use.

Was randomly charged over 100 dollars for Amazon Prime membership on my debit card at 1:00 in the morning without my immediate consent. I realize that the terms and conditions I agreed to probably justified this, but nobody reads over that stuff, and Amazon knows it. It's misleading and they know it is. While I will probably be getting my money back, this is a huge pain in my ass and just another thing I have to deal with.

I purchased Amazon Prime to gain the benefits of watching TV shows I enjoy for one yearly price. I noticed that shows I like and watch regularly are suddenly pay per view rather than part of the Prime experience. One specific show my wife and I are watching is "Alpha". Today we went to watch another episode and found that now suddenly they are charging for each show. Amazon lured me in to Prime and then began to switch shows I enjoy to pay per view. On a related note there are rarely any new shows or movies added. I have seen a few but they tend to be 5 to 25 year old shows that they must have scored on the cheap.

I bought a computer in May 2014. After several months, I had major problems. I got a call from a man stating I had computer problems. I paid $400.00 for computer repairs. Also, I sent a request to Amazon to request financial money on my computer purchase and they would NOT accept my request!!! The computer repair reviewed it and found there was problems on this computer from August 2013! Several months passed and I started having problems with the computer again. Then I got a call from another group offering computer assistance. I was told that the previous group cannot repair the damage and I had to pay $299.00 to fix the computer. This has been the worst computer!!!

On 4/5/2015 I purchased Spectre HP Envy for 958.44 from Amazon that was suppose to be brand new with the seal not broken. The computer came broke. I contacted Amazon and the seller multiple times. Now let me go into detail about the damages - the screen was cracked from top to bottom! Due to poor notation and representatives not doing their job, I'm still currently with the computer and have had to get it fixed on my own. Now had the first 5 representatives done their part I wouldn't be in this mess. The correct thing to do was to issue a exchange or refund and I would have given back the computer, but no I was told there was nothing they could do.
Apparently since the representatives did not record all of our conversations I did not qualify for the a-z guarantee because I did not call within the first 14 day but I did call. So I called them again on Sunday 5/18/2015 and explain that this is getting ridiculous, I've been calling since the computer has arrived at my door! So I was told that they would make a one time exception and refund me my full amount 2-3 business days. It's 5 business days later and I have yet to get my refund!
I called today five days later from this conversation and I'm being told that they have to see if I qualify again. I think this is unacceptable. I'm still dealing with issues with this computer and Amazon has to make this right. I keep being told that they will call me back and that I will here from a supervisor and days go by and no phone call or email, I have to continue to harass them. I've been calling for a little over a month now since I bought this laptop. Not to mention the laptop hard drive is also damage. So that was another issue I had to fix. The best part, this computer still does not work properly. It's is currently 5/22/2015 and no one has solved my problem!

Then I used my office VPN internet. Next day my account is closed due to breach something. I have contacted Amazon 20 times through mail, just they don't respond, they aren't even bothered about it. This how Amazon does business joining with Nigerian fraudsters on US soil. I have filed claim but they don't care, they don't even call. "After 90 days, the hold will be removed and any remaining funds will be available per your settlement schedule. In addition, balance and settlement information will be available in the Payments section of your seller account. If you have questions about these funds, please write to payments-funds@amazon.com." This is the message that Amazon sent me a message today and basically informed me that they will be keeping over $1000 that I earned until they deem appropriate due to policy violation. In other words, all the money that I invested for the inventory used to place on Amazon is tied up. This is over $700 that I spent on items that all my customers have received. Be super cautious.
In addition to earning their fees, they are probably earning interest on your hard earned money or using it to operate their business and further scam others. People usually assume that they can sell their items online and earn a decent living. Apparently, not on Amazon. I will never use this company again!!! They waited until I sold over $1000 in merchandise before noticing that I had violated their policy. All the items that I listed were listed with item, templates, and descriptions of items that are currently being sold on their site. All my inventory has been removed and my account is basically frozen. Just keep in mind that they will use any excuse necessary to justify their cause. Since this has occurred, I had several people tell me that the same was done to them.
I'm really disappointed in Amazon. I have been purchasing books from them for years. I will no longer support a company that uses such underhanded tactics to keep your money as long as possible. They also kindly reminded me to fulfill and ship any orders that have not already been shipped and respectfully satisfy any obligations that I may not have already taken care of. Do you see the irony in that? I would understand if they had removed my listings and closed my accounts, but to use a policy violation as a pretext for keeping my money? Really? Wow!!!

Amazed at pathetic response of Amazon.in. I ordered Dell Byte Corseca Bluetooth Headphone from Amazon.in during whatteydeal offer. I received a message from Amazon.in that it will be delivered to me by 13/05/2015. I got a call from courier guy on 12/05/2015 at 12:30pm and I requested him that if he can please come before 12 noon as after that I am in office or he can come to my office that's within 4km radius. He said "I have 80-85 deliveries, won't come to office, will deliver you tomorrow before 12noon."
Next day I received a wrong number and name (came to know after calling on that number at 12noon) from Amazon.in and again I got a call from courier guy in evening when I was in office. Again I told this guy the same thing and response was same. Later I received a message that "Addressee was not found so your order is being returned." So, I called customer support and that guy assured me that I'll receive this package before 12noon tomorrow. He will personally look into the matter.
However, when no one came till 12noon I called customer support again another guy picked and assured me someone will come till evening. But no one came or contacted that day. Again I called Customer support someone else received it and again I told the whole story. Now this person also assured me that "you will be receiving it before 12noon tomorrow." Next day, on 15/05/2015, again I received a wrong name and number of delivery guy. Didn't receive product till 12 noon and again got a call from courier guy in evening... again same story...
I requested this guy again that please come tomorrow anytime before 12noon and he assured me about the same. I talked to customer service again and reminded the issue again and got the same assurance for tomorrow. Next day in morning at 7:30am to my surprise I received a message that "your product is returned." I was deeply agitated. So I called customer support again and I was told that "you will have to order again. We can't do anything." Date was 16/05/2015.
No one listens in Amazon.in: I have the names of people and their e-mail correspondence with me as well. No single executive took the accountability but everyone said in the end of the call that "you don't have to call again." Every time I found myself talking to a new customer support executive. Have their promises in written. One of the guy from Amazon.in escalation department wrote me a mail that we have given 250 balance in my account that I can use in my next purchase. I won't do next purchase ever from this site so please keep that 250 to yourself. What's the point when I didn't get what I purchased, next time will happen the same. I had the worst experience of my life with Amazon.in. You guys are so smart that you are telling me to order this product again, which I was getting in INR 1107 at that time will have to pay INR 1350 now... thanks people from Amazon.in for giving me this experience. :(

Yes, today received a letter from Amazon saying my account was suspended, please note I haven't been no more than 15 days. And I've have gross over 3000 dollars in sales - meaning my products are out to customers without being paid. Plus Amazon has took their selling fees over 400 dollars and telling now the first payment was due on 05/04/2015. But when it came time to pay, they waited pay day and say they’re doing something call roller, bs. Ok with that said, they then told me I would be paid 05/18/2015.
So now the today they tell me since I have a A-to-z claim they are suspending my account and I have to wait 90 days, and pretty much there's nothing I can do but wait til 90. And I have wait just in case a customer don't want the product they refund them, and I'm out of my product and my hard earned money - considering there are so many Amazon buyer scamming selling all the time. The moral of this post is Amazon owe me a lot of money and they are not going to pay til they want to but they took 400 and something from for listing fees, and I'm out of everything. I really thought Amazon was a trusting website, boy was I so wrong.

They were terrible, nasty etc. I even contacted Jeff Bezos CEO. He did not care either. Just gave it to some flunky. They don't give you answers or another chance. Mr. Bezos could care less. When you are in the top 1 percent in money he could care less. It's the people like us that made that guy rich. He does not care either. I have asked many times to be given another chance. If I qualify for "free shipping" because I purchase more than $25.00 worth of applicable items. It's just plain rude that they wait (3) days to even begin to fill the order. The worst part is, they hand it off to our local POST OFFICE, from UPS, and they think that "deliver confirmation" means we got the package. More than (5) times, I received an email that the package was "scanned & delivered", when I got nothing. Hard to prove you did not get anything. I stopped my mailman then filed a complaint, online about the USPS deliver confirmation scam. Funny how even the supervisor said, "I spoke to your postman, and he specifically, remembers delivering to your house". THREE days later, he shows up with my package, and a lame apology. "I thought you delivered this already?"... "Sorry, we found it in the warehouse". Why is it in the USPS warehouse? Are they selling our stuff on EBAY? What is that for an excuse?
THEY LIED to the company, telling them "she got it". I just think that there is NO SERVICE anymore. I took a picture of a package that was shipped from AMAZON, and no I still did not purchase "PRIME". There was no tape, and big gaps at both ends of a HUGE box, that was suppose to have an eyeliner in it. It fell out, and I had to go and file the complaint to get credit, AGAIN. Why put an eyeliner in a box bigger than a shoe box? NO TAPE, and your shipping staff, thought I would get the eyeliner? No common sense. The last order of numerous books and other vacation items, sat for (3) days before they filled it. Now, it is going to take (10) more days, to even get it! That is more than (2) weeks, for a $90.00 order, that qualified for free shipping. It's beyond stupid. I am hitting the local used bookstores and buying eyeliner from stores that have it in front of me. Amazon is chasing customers away. Bully for you!

Do NOT order from Amazon! I placed an order for a king size memory foam mattress (2-day shipping) one week prior to my parents' arrival, so I can lay the bed flat and let the smell dissipate and get the bed ready. On the day before their arrival, I noticed something went wrong on the tracking page, and I called customer services only to find out that it was NOT SHIPPED OUT AT ALL! Amazon replaced the order for overnight shipping so it could arrive on the day my parents get here.
AGAIN the bed failed to be delivered on time even though I was told that it was a guaranteed shipping! And NOW THE COMPANY PUT US INTO A SITUATION WHERE MYSELF, A 37-WEEKS PREGNANT WOMAN, OR MY 65 YEAR OLD PARENTS (who had just traveled over 15 hours to get here) HAD TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR WITHOUT A BED! What's worse? When I asked for a possible refund for their failed job, they recalled the FedEx shipping to return the bed instead of delivery!
I was a prime member for years, and two-day shipping or guaranteed shipping is what I paid the service for (and the company's competitive edge over other websites), but Amazon FAILED us miserably! I cancelled the prime member immediately after this chaotic and traumatic experience. This is not a company worth paying money for!

I sold a Television recently on Amazon. The Television was in perfect condition, not a blemish on it. I delivered it to the buyer myself, powered it up, shook hands, and signed the invoice accepting delivery. Two days later, I receive an A-Z claim from the buyer claiming the TV was broken and damaged in shipping, which is almost impossible since it was not shipped. I immediately appealed the claim requesting proof of damage and explained how the TV was delivered, not shipped. The picture I received was a completely demolished TV along with parts and pieces from the TV in the background. It had clearly been tampered with.
Fast forward 2 weeks, I'm still waiting on Amazon to provide some insight on what to do with this Claim. I am receiving non-stop emails from Amazon and the buyer requesting a return shipping address and to refund the buyer upon receiving the return. I explained over and over to Amazon that I would not be doing this considering the proof I supplied of the delivery and the photos which clearly showed tampering of the TV. Another week goes by and I receive another email stating it's my last and final chance to provide a refund / return authorization to the buyer.
Meanwhile, the A-Z claim is finally updated and states "The claim was resolved. Buyer claim denied." When I called Amazon, they told me it was not resolved and that it was still under review. The following day, the claim is updated again showing that it is now waiting on the seller to refund the buyer, yet it still says that the buyers claim was denied. How does this happen? I have called Amazon several times. I have emailed the seller support email address several times. No one seems to know what is going on and no one from Amazon responds. The Amazon website says something totally different from what the rep says when I call in and they are dumbfounded, unable to provide any information or help whatsoever. There is no way to talk to anyone in the claims department and there is no way to stop the emails demanding the refund.
Please Amazon, get this figured out! I am not about to lose out on a $2000 TV that I sold because you guys can't get your systems and personnel working together. Then they told me, I already closed that account, I need to go to my bank to figure out, but I even do not know the bank name and never open an account - is that will be a ridiculous instruction to me? It is only $32.15, not big deal, but I do not think this is a single issue happened to me only. Amazon has to pay attention to their accounting department. Apparently, the money is on the way to someone else but not my account.

Amazon has a great shopping experience. Lately I am beginning to rethink that. It is about 50/50 the merchandise I keep, and the rest shipped back. For instance I received two cases of lindt chocolate truffles, one ok, the other opened and retaped. This is a food item and if I were in any other retail setting I would not buy anything that is opened and retaped. It is quite possible that Amazon makes its profits by hyping sub-standard products, and/or things that are about to expire. There have been some instances where they were very coopertative with returns. I have health issues which keep me at home. I must really investigate other websites that are quality focused on all of their business policies. I am using your site to vent my frustrations with this company, but this is not a legal matter. I think I can live and learn where they are concerned. The opinions stated are mine.

Amazon.com bans millions of buyer and seller accounts for following their policies. One day they decide to ban your account because you sold something and whiney consumers return it. Buyers get banned because Amazon never packs its products well and they all get damaged so they have a lot of returns and they will get banned. Amazon.com has the worse customer service, they treat you like an angel until they ban you and then treat you like a monster and you're worthless. Their account services are a joke and sound like robots, you can never talk to anyone, even corporate doesn't do anything. Eventually, Amazon will have banned all their customers and won't have anymore business. They need to return to the little book store they used to be.

On Friday, April 17, 2015 before 8:00am, I placed 2 orders and paid additional money for next day delivery. Late Friday evening I received an email from Amazon that the items would be delivered at 8pm Saturday evening. As luck would have it, the items did not arrive. I contacted Amazon's Customer Service department shortly after 8pm Saturday evening. I spoke with a first line representative, a supervisor and manager to explain that my shipments never arrived which were gifts for my niece's birthday party on Saturday. I also explained that my niece waited all day to receive her gifts and was excited about her special day. All 3 Amazon representatives told me that the delivery date and time were estimates, and that the items would arrive on Monday, April 20. Nowhere did it mention that the overnight shipping was an estimate.
The reason I asked for a manager is because the supervisor also said, "sometimes we get disappointed." This was unacceptable! I told her that adults understand, but children do not. Children are kids for a short time and look forward to birthdays and holidays. Had I known on Friday morning when I placed the order that delivery was going to be at 8pm not earlier in the day, I would have cancelled the order. Such information was sent via email late Friday evening and should have been noted during the ordering process. A delivery time should be available when an order is placed.
Additionally, when the packages did not arrive by 8pm Saturday evening, I only learned by calling Amazon customer service that the packages would be delivered on Monday. Amazon did not take the initiative to notify me of the delayed deliveries. Had I known that the guaranteed delivery date which I paid additional shipping cost for had changed, I would have gone shopping either Friday or Saturday with my niece for her gifts. The Amazon representatives were insensitive to the situation and made excuses for the company. Their generous offer was to refund the guaranteed overnight shipping cost. Meanwhile, I still have no gifts for my niece. To say the least, I am extremely disappointed with my overall Amazon experience.

I committed to buy a Little Giant Biofilter that was sold by Amazon.com. The listed retail price was around $1600, which is an over-inflated price. It was selling for $148.00. I received an email confirmation and it said the estimated shipping date was several weeks away. Several weeks passed and I received another email telling me there would be a delay in shipping and did I still want the item. I replied with, YES, and I got another estimated shipping date. In the meantime I spent money getting plumbing and parts to install this item and I passed up several great deals on similar filters because nothing to this point led me to believe I wouldn't receive it, obviously they were working hard on their end to get this to me because they kept in contact with me.
So 2 months later I received another email saying there was a mistake in the price and they cancelled my order and they also pulled the item from their site. It was no longer available at any price. This raised many red flags with me. If it was a mistake in price then why isn't it listed with the correct price and why did it take 2 months to let me know this. I am one of many people on my pond forums who had the same experience, yet a few did receive a different model of this same filter for $69.00 the month before and some people were made offers for a comparable filter for $148.00.
I was offered nothing, even though I got strung along and deceived for 2 months. It was much more than a disappointment or inconvenience. I spent money specifically for things to install this filter and lost out on other deals on similar filters. So far I have received form apology letters from people who most likely don't even live in the US. If in fact a mistake in price was made, I could accept that if I had been told within a day or so of placing the order, but 2 months is inexcusable.

After dinner I went to purchase it but the price had been increased by $100 to $1,099. They went too far in using information about me (I placed a TV in my shopping cart and once I put something in my shopping cart, I usually buy it) to raise prices on me. Once an item is placed in a shopping cart, they need to honor that price for a reasonable amount of time and let the consumers know how long they have to buy it at that price. Until then, I will not be shopping for "big ticket" items from Amazon. My order history goes back to 1998, in 2014 I placed 105 orders with them. The problem is they are not located in the USA. First I have a problem with companies that do not support the country they are based in. Our economy is bad enough especially when these companies don't hire the people in their own backyard. Second thing is people not living here do not understand how our country does things.
This is the second time I have spoke with amazon's customer service and they had no clue and would keep saying the same thing over and over again. When I would try to explain that's not the way we do things here, they keep repeating themselves. VERY VERY frustrating and a valuable waste of my time. In April of 2015 after getting my disability check I placed an order with Amazon for a jacket and 2 pairs of shoes and while checking on the prime membership somehow got charged for the prime subscription. But I put in my updated debit card on my account and placed my order. The next day my sister checks end on her debit card and noticed her balance wasn't right so called her bank to see what happened. They told her the several charges on it from Amazon which she has never shopped from ever. So I went to my account on Amazon and sure enough the last 4 numbers didn't match mine.
So they turned out to be hers. I never gave her credit card number as I didn't know it and had my own card and money so though Amazon didn't have any answers for me their computer must have scanned her card which she had let me use 1 time to buy a 99 cent Kindle e Book several months ago and charged her card without asking or verifying anything for my items I guess totally ignoring my card information on my account. How can this happen? And is this legal? And yes she's getting refunded after sending everything back but that takes time to get it placed back on her card and it's too aggravating to have to do. I will never buy another thing from Amazon again!

I ordered a book and was very careful not to click the gigantic and irritating Amazon Prime button. I commented to the people in the room how much I disliked them trying to trick me into clicking. Yet somehow they interpreted my "no" as a yes. The buttons were very close so it's possible my finger missed the right pixel. I only found out by accident: their email said "your free trial membership" - I get a lot of emails and thought I could trust Amazon, so I naively thought "free" meant "free". But the hard sell made me suspicious, so I read the smaller print and found they planned to take £79 off me. I cancelled (not an easy process) but they did not send an email to confirm. All I have is a screen that says I will not be charged. But they have tricked me again: what else are they hiding in the small print? For years I have trusted Amazon, but no longer.

I never thought that a company LIKE AMAZON who got the reputation of best company in the world has got these much flaws in organizing and serve customers like me. As you can see I am guy who made enormous purchase $2000 in just 40 days gap. If you check what happened in my case you will understand the flaws of the company which can hamper reputation of company especially when dealing with customers like me who is based out of many places and have contacts with many people in the circle of the world.
And coming to the point I deserved to get refund of 5200 INR which is related to the purchase of above mentioned order. For all this there are proof: 1) phone call from SR customer care lady from Washington; 2) the chats which I had with almost 15 customer care guys, a chat with one named ** who is more informative chat and who again confirmed on my refund status and whom again confirmed that I need to take delivery and I will be paid by Amazon a refund amount of 5200 INR.
Last but not least, I will explain this case to you as you are respected guy and holds a major position. I had ordered Ferrari watch from Amazon and from third party seller WATCH WAREHOUSE (who is very rude and don't know how to behave with customers, you can check their responding mails and their attitude which is reflected in the mail like "just buy the product if you want", the attitude which they keep). I had ordered this and payment was made and was waiting for the product, and again to my surprise I got a call from customs that I need to pay charges again of 5200 INR for this product.
All these information was hidden while paying and they are justifying telling that they had sent a mail about customs charges. Please note the flaws here. It's just like insurance companies selling their product keeping all relevant information hidden while paying. It was not mentioned while paying at least mentioning + customs charges of respective country. It was not highlighted in the mail also, just written in small letters which was unreadable. My question is: 1) when you can mention product charges and delivery charges in payment pages as big letters, why can't you at least mention + customs charges there unlike sending mails as small letters?
I had explained all these to SR customer care lady from Washington and she agreed the mistakes here and promised that I will get the delivery of product and I need not pay any more money as it is an isolated case and they will take care of it (check phone for proof). And thus agreed upon again I had taken the delivery by paying 5200INR and if I am not wrong a guy named ** made uploading arrangements for uploading refunding bill and promised me that at any case I will get the refund. Please check, all these have proofs. So on that day I took the delivery by paying the amount and he told he made all arrangements to get my refund back. Now when I'm checking with them they don't have any idea about it and I need to explain from chapter 1.
I am fed up of this and either get my refund after this mail or else I will go for viral publicity to make everyone aware of this hidden charges and stop dealing with Amazon completely, and I hate to do that. So please get my refund ASAP, please. If you hadn't agreed upon the refund I wouldn't have taken delivery at all and overall I have to pay huge cost almost 40% of product amount as customs.
One thing to mention here is that I had explained all these to almost 15 customer care guys; the bad thing is that each and every time customer has to explain from chapter 1. There is no system as such like latest info or summary is passed on to next session or improvements on further case. I was really annoyed on this. Now they are still making me fool out of this telling all irrelevant facts. Please get my refund amount to my account ASAP so that I will have good time Amazon for very long time. Thanks.

"We are sorry... We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
While selling they have informed me that it has worldwide warranty, but when we spoke to India customer care they informed us in writing that this product is for USA sale and use only and can't be used in other countries. I was shocked to know, if that was the case why it is sold in other countries. Are they dumping the outdated model in other countries and looting the public money by cheating? They don't even have the service center to repair also and once you buy you will never get service/replacement and you will have to throw it in dustbin.
Kindle Tab comes with a one year warranty, and we have been writing to the company for last 3 years, but the company is having a short term vision to dump the outdated model in other countries and make money in this competitive world by selling at lower price. And my humble suggestion to the childrens and their parents that you should never go for a Kindle Tab, instead pay some more money and go for a Samsung Tab. It was a sorry face to me in front of my child to whom I have gifted a KINDLE FIRE TAB as a birthday gift, which I will never forget in my life and request all the buyers to be alert, as I have treated this AED 899 as donation to the CEO & Management of AMAZON KINDLE FIRE TAB.

Amazon.com created an invalid return request for a buyer and allowed false claim to steal money from my account. I am 5-star seller and work hard to provide the best products and service Amazon seller center. Recently Amazon.com created an invalid return request for a buyer who got a 100% brand new factory sealed Braun shaver and used it for more than 3 months. Both Amazon.com's and my return policy does NOT allow returns beyond 30 days. And there is no issue with the shaver at all. The buyer claimed that the shaver did not work at the beginning, then changed his story to that the shaver does not work to his satisfaction after 3 months of use.
I helped him to contact the manufacturer Braun for warranty service because whatever manufacturer's warranty needs to be done with the manufacturer. But the buyer refused and insisted to file an Amazon A-Z claim and Amazon did not allow me to dispute this claim, and simply deduct a large amount $ from my account. Amazon did not even refund me any of the sale's fees and shipping costs Amazon charged me on this sale. Amazon.com simply stole money from an all 5-star seller and did not allow any communication and said that their decision (to steal my money) is final.
The claim against me was an NOT a valid A-to-Z Claim to start with according to the conditions set by Amazon.com. There are 3 necessary conditions to file an A-to-Z Claim per Amazon.com. This claim did not satisfied conditions 2 and 3. So it was an INVALID claim to start with. The claim was "item not as described". The item description is 100% the same as the item and the seller even offer FREE expedite shipping to the buyer for no extra cost. The buyer used the product for more than 3 months and changed his mind and wanted for a return. The seller explained in deals with patience and took the initiative to help the buyer with manufacturer warranty service. The evil buyer refused and wanted a refund because he still need to use the shaver and cannot wait for the mailing to and from the manufacturer.
The return request was way outside of both Amazon's and my return window. The return request should not even be allowed from the first place. It's against the industry ethics and good professional conduct to treat sellers with all 5-star ratings like this on Amazon.com seller center. Amazon even took all the sale fees and profits from this sale and the shipping costs from the seller, so basically the seller double lost the item, the sale, the Amazon fees, and the shipping costs. This whole thing is simply WRONG by any standard. I am sure a lot of media would be interested to report this. And I also reserve the right to proceed with other channels besides media.

It cannot find some programs it says it has and sometimes is unable to perform even the simplest tasks. I tried to return it but uShopMall said they could only return half my money. ** no!!! I ain't giving them this junk back for half price. Oh, and I would have had to pay return shipping too.
I complained to Amazon believing they would take the side of me, a customer who helped to pay their bills. But no! They sided with the vendor who ripped me off by selling me junk and said it's my problem. I told them to close my account because I won't be back. I would ask our joke of a government for help but they would take the side of scammers and rip off artists like they always do every time it's American citizens VS. Corporate America. ** 'em all!!!!

Placed an order last week. Balanced the checkbook tonight. Found multiple charges that didn't match anything, as well as a couple refunds by Amazon. My order was split into $154.21 and $6.83. Total weird, charges totaled up to $252.24. Refunds totaled the amount of the difference. I also was missing an order amount that was marked paid but was not reflected on my account. I spent a couple hours chatting with customer service about what was going on. Finally towards the end I got a 'well it looks like it was canceled 3 times'. Canceled? What was canceled? My order? Did I do that? Was this an internal issue? Asked to talk to a supervisor because I felt I was getting the runaround w/ this guy. He gives me the runaround further trying to get a 'why'.
I finally get someone on who says 'this is what we have and you're wrong or missing something'. No, almost $100 was charged onto my account for no apparent reason, I was never notified about cancellations (which she then said my card had been declined multiple times....never got an email or other kind of notification about this), and I never got an explanation why it was charged MORE than what I confirmed in my order BUT THEN was refunded. It wasn't multiple charges of the same amount--that could possibly explain it, I would assume.
I'm mostly irritated that I was told to go to my bank and find the charge that way and that I couldn't follow up with anyone specifically, just through the chat or general communication. I'm angry because I had money gone in my account for a day I didn't account for. I was lucky I had that money in there. I feel like my account was being used maliciously.

I have ordered from Amazon in the past with no problems. On this order I expected to receive a notebook, a mechanical drafting pencil, matching pencil lead, and a video cable. I received the items in an unsealed cardboard box that matches the shape of the notebook. The mechanical pencil was missing. It is easy to see what happened. Amazon probably shipped it unwrapped just like the notebook was and it slipped through the sides of the box that weren't sealed. The UPS man probably has it. This was a mistake on whoever packaged this order. I contacted Amazon customer service about it and they are sending a new one.

Amazon are full of empty promises. I have been purchasing through Amazon recently backed with the confidence that their A to Z guarantee had my back if something went wrong. Well something went wrong when I purchased an item from a third party seller. After about 10 chat sessions with support, several emails and a package that was returned with the tracking showing it was delivered to the recipient, my claim gets denied saying that the package was not received. Firstly the seller sold me and a couple of others products then disappeared offline with nothing else for sale. The product was sold as "new" but was clearly not. The product was a mobile phone with no manuals, no warranty and documentation for another model in the box that also belonged to another phone. But still it's my fault apparently.
After almost 2 months, I receive an email saying that Amazon tries to promote a fair marketplace for buyers and sellers. I'm sorry but in this whole ordeal, not once has there been any fairness towards me "the buyer." Not that this will go anywhere anyway since as someone else has said, no one in support speaks English and after the loss from this package alone, I refuse to call their support center and spend more money seeing as I am in Australia.

Three days after I strongly and successfully REFUSED USPS delivery of a package from Amazon for several reasons, including customer satisfaction, the Delivery Status page on the website indicates that the package was delivered (Left on the front porch) by USPS. The VERY concerning aspect is that the Delivery Status page on the website originally indicated that the package was Refused (did not want)... BUT was changed to 'Delivered' a few hours later. This was obviously 'manually' changed by someone.
This is an unacceptable situation because amazon could continue to bill me for a package that I DID NOT RECEIVE... which could lead to a detrimental mark on my payment history. How can this happen? And WHY?? Is the question... obviously $60.00 is not an enormous amount BUT it’s the principle of the issue which concerns me. Please review this situation and contact me if you need additional information.

Amazon is looking out for the interests of their high $$ sellers, not the consumer. They did nothing to help resolve a purchase with a seller and even blocked my reviews of the seller so I could not even warn the public about doing business with this seller. The public has the right to know how a seller handles their customers. And, if information is not made clear on their (Amazon) website, then Amazon should handle that dispute honorably. I was confused and thought I was getting a different product. The seller, Shutter Shack, charged me a 50% restocking fee, which is basically robbery, PLUS the shipping charges.
All I wanted was to exchange them and have that restock fee removed. I ended up spending $300 (restock fee and shipping costs) for cabinets I spent $427 and have since returned to the seller. I ended up with a little over $100 back in my pocket. That is highway robbery and unethical. I am very unhappy that Amazon did nothing for me, the consumer, and did all they can to help protect Shutter Shack. I will not buy from Amazon anymore.

I have bought numerous items from Amazon.com. In a way it is not just a store, it is THE store. You can find just about anything there. Specific brands, all the latest hardware, specialty items.. electronics, food, survival equipment, camping gear. It's all there most of the time. Their services are also quite reliable. Many items listed on Amazon.com are actually sold by third party retailers. When dealing with these retailers or "e-tailers" you are going to have a hit or a miss. The hit could be that a 3rd party Amazon.com seller is willing to offer discounts in order to compete with Amazon.com themselves, or that they are easier to communicate with and more likely to accommodate you (see example below). The miss could be that they are a young dreamer who is trying to capitalize on internet retailing and doesn't know diddly about how to conduct business.
When dealing with Amazon, you have the benefit of doing business with a successful and reputable conglomerate, but as I like to say: the door swings both ways. Amazon will likely have what you need whereas a 3rd party retailer will not--that is they have greater selection. They are also more reliable, or at least faster, in getting the items you pay for to your doorstep on time. However, in very specific instances, Amazon.com policies are atrocious. I will break up my review of Amazon.com into two parts: the first being my miraculous stereo transaction, and the second being my recent experiences trying to buy a television--or "Pro's" and "Cons".
Pros: Recently I bought a pair of hefty studio monitors via Amazon.com. In laymen's terms: I bought a fancy stereo. Amazon.com (the 1st party retailer) listed a price of $500 for the stereo, whereas a 3rd party seller, in this case: a small anime shop in Texas, offered the speakers for literally half of that price. Beyond the immense deal they offered, the 3rd party seller was also more accommodating than Amazon.com as a 1st party seller.
I live in a rural town. Therefore I only get mail from a P.O. box. USPS, UPS, and FedEx cannot and will not officially deliver any item to my residential address--to them it doesn't exist. Beyond that, my home residence address is not recognized by any database but Google Maps. To make matters worse (much worse), heavier and larger items WILL NOT be shipped by Amazon.com (the first party retailer) or 9/10 other retailers to my P.O. Box address under any circumstances. I found one reputable retailer that would ship a large item to my P.O. Box, and for shipping charges they wanted $100. To top it off, being that I live in Nowhere, USA, Amazon.com and the internet are often times the ONLY places in all possibility that I will find many, specific, specialty items.
On top of offering the stereo to me at half price, I was able to contact the seller and almost immediately get a response as to whether or not they could/would ship the stereo to my P.O. Box. This would mean shipping it through USPS, as no other service officially can deliver to P.O. Boxes--and if they do the service is slower AND more costly. The seller agreed to ship the stereo to my P.O. Box via USPS without a word, and even paid for shipping thrice as fast as Amazon.com would have even if I had paid $500 for the stereo. What an amazing Amazon.com experience that was.
Cons: On the other hand, we have the situation of my trying to find a television. Around here, your closest shopping options (within a 100 mile radius) are a barren, out-of-state K-Mart and a Walmart that is nearly two hours away round trip. Mind you, even if the latter option of going to Wal Mart is taken, they are still a middle-of-nowhere Wal-Mart, and their selection is accordingly barren. So in looking for a TV, I of course want the best picture quality and size that I can get at a decent price--of course, I check the internet and I check Amazon.com.
Lo and behold, Amazon.com has a selection of televisions that is five to ten times larger than Wal-Mart's, and even on the latest and greatest brands and models their prices are generally 25-50% cheaper. There is just one hitch that I caught on to. Amazon.com would NOT ship these Televisions to a P.O. Box... no matter what. Not for $500 or $5,000, not if you beg them and cry at their feet and kiss the ring on their fingers--they will NOT ship a television to a P.O. Box address--EVER. I am still slightly offended by that.
So, I thought: hey, I'll do what I did when I looked for speakers and buy from a third party seller who will ship the TV to a P.O. Box, after all, surely they would be more accommodating than the big A conglomerate. Wrong. What follows has been the worst Amazon.com experience I have ever had, and one of the worst online transaction experiences ever as well. On I went assessing third party seller options. Seller after seller would not ship a TV to a P.O Box. I didn't even have to ask them. With a given TV in the shopping cart, after I pressed the "checkout" button, I would immediately be given an automated message that said the seller would not ship the item I requested to a P.O. Box address. Finally, miraculously it seemed, one seller did not give me the "WILL NOT SHIP TO YOUR PO BOX" message. It seemed the bargain of the century: $300 for a 40", 1080p, LED TV from one of the leading TV manufacturers: Samsung. And the seller even offered free shipping.
After a day I check on the order and get the message "Preparing for Shipment" much to my delight. Then, the next day after that, I get a dreaded email. That message tells me that the seller backed out on the deal. Amazon.com's automated message had also informed me that I would be refunded in 1-2 business days (I expected to be refunded immediately--after all, my payment reached them immediately). It has now been about three business days by my calculations and I still have no refund in my account. My guess is that the seller just doesn't care because he already has my money, and Amazon doesn't care too much either. I will wait one more day, and if no refund is present in my account than I will contact Amazon.com.
The seller who offered me the right television for $300 probably uses UPS Ground or Fedex for whatever reason--maybe because it's cheaper--maybe because it's familiar--to my knowledge, out of habit. Neither of those services will officially ship to a P.O. Box whatsoever. My guess is they chickened out and didn't even bother reading into the matter. One google search would have determined that USPS does in fact ship just about any sized item to a P.O. Box at no additional cost. But they simply turned me away because my address is different from theirs--and to boot, it appears they kept my money, or are at least taking their sweet time returning it to me.
Thus ends my lengthy review of Amazon.com. As a first party retailer they offer superb selection, great reliability, and only one apparent draw back to me in that they do not ship larger items to P.O. Boxes. Therefore, rural residents may have an issue or two with them, but most people should love them. The 3rd party retailers listed on Amazon.com have varying quality of service(s). One may give you the deal of the century. Another may give you a proverbial slap in the face, spit on the ground, and get away with doing it to others just like you while making money doing it.
Generally though, any household item can be found at Amazon.com, even if it is a specialty product costing upwards of thousands of dollars. For things like cars, guns, machines, real estate, etc. you will still likely have to use go through the "old fashioned" channels. Overall I give them a score of 8/10. Hopefully they will get in touch with their small-business roots and offer more competitive pricing as well as accommodating customer service. Still waiting on that refund, Amazon...

It has been 93 days since Amazon suspended my account for 10 pictures that were in violation. The violations were men's dress shirts showing only the front photo and not the entire shirt. When you search the same style of shirt on Amazon, they themselves sell the same shirts with the same front-only photo. My guess is that it was not really the photos, I was not making them enough money. There are far worse pictures than my own. I think that it is horrible business practice to hold on to a seller's money for 93 days, especially since they say that it will be released after 90.

After receiving some kitchenware from a third party seller through Amazon, I returned the package unopened to the seller - wrong items. After waiting several weeks, I checked the tracking number for the return. The tracking number showed that the return had been been promptly delivered "in or at" the seller's mailbox. I contacted the seller, who denied receiving the return.
I filed a claim with Amazon's Guarantee A to Z Program. Claim promptly denied because I had not requested a proof of signature when they mailed back the package with USPS, despite proof from the tracking number that the package had been delivered to the seller. Of course, when I initiated the return process with Amazon, I was never informed that a signature for delivery was a requirement.
So by that logic, next time anyone gets a delivery from Amazon, all you have to do is claim you never got it and demand a refund. After all, without a signature from you, how can Amazon prove the package was delivered?

I let them know immediately that I needed to return it and said I was more than willing to pay the shipping back. But then they said to me that they would not accept it because it was not in the original box. I asked them what they were referring to because when the freight company delivered it to me they showed up at my door with the dryer on a dolly (the dryer was taped-the door-and had some cellophane strips on it) and they had a belt around it. We live at the top of a steep narrow driveway so the delivery crew had apparently unpacked the dryer from the box and left it on their truck. When they brought it inside the delivery man looked at the connection and told me I had the wrong dryer and needed to return it. He said the seller would contact me. I didn't hear from them for a couple of days so I contacted them by email.
As I said, they proceeded to tell me that they would not accept the return because it was not in the box. I went round and round with them and finally contacted Amazon. Amazon told me that they would accept my return for a small restocking fee. I explained to Amazon that their "small" fee was $525.00 which was crazy! Especially since the only reason, according to evVive's policies, that they even charge a restocking fee is if the order has been opened-which again takes me back to the fact that I had no control over this!
When I contacted Amazon AGAIN to explain that they emailed me back and said, "Now the seller will NOT take back your item at all because it is more than 15 days," according to their policy when I have referenced the email stream that has been going on for almost 2 months!!! Complaint Type: Refund / Exchange Issues. Description of Complaint: Beginning January 29, 2015 I purchased several items from Amazon.com. Having ordered online from overseas due to my employment, I expected to receive the items prior to my trip home in Richmond, Virginia. Then, when I arrived home and found that some items hadn't arrived, I contacted Amazon. They advised that my account had been suspended, due to suspected fraud. After assuring Amazon that the orders were in fact legitimate, they re-instated my account (an email was sent from Amazon stating this), or so I thought. In fact, they did not.
What I found is that, in an attempt to return some items, I could not see my order 'history' online, and therefore I was at a distinct disadvantage at getting Amazon to 'authorize' the returns. In total, I count thirteen (13) emails between 29 Jan and 16 February 2015. What's troubling is that upon notifying Amazon that something was amiss, they have not rectified the situation, nor restored my ability to make returns. Moreover, they have not stated 'why' they suspect 'fraud' was committed, but they did not accuse me. It's more that the transactions looked suspicious, without provided detail.
Desired Settlement: Refund. Desired Outcome Description: Because of the above, and the lack of immediate recourse, i.e., instructions on returning the purchased items and resolving why my account was suspended, I will have incurred out of my own expenses, the cost of returning those items purchased, without knowing if I will get reimbursed. Amazon (and their Customer Service) representatives give no timeline on when my complaint will be addressed.

I placed two separate orders for two different items in December of 2014 that were expected to be delivered in December of 2014. The items were never delivered, despite the tracking information for both of the packages showing that they were delivered - I never received the items. I tried multiple times (I ended up contacting Amazon customer service 6 times regarding this issue) to resolve this issue with customer service. Each time, I was told that I would be contacted by somebody within (blank) business days (usually 1-3 business days). However, I was NEVER contacted by the team that I was supposed to be contacted by, nor was I followed up with by the customer service rep, even though they said they would follow up by a certain date.
When I contacted the company final time, again they tried to make me wait (blank) business days, which I wasn't going to settle for, because I knew I would not receive a response; instead, I chose to turn to my credit card company for help, since I knew I would not get any progress made with the Amazon customer service team. I filed transaction disputes with my credit card company for each of the two charges on my account, stating that the items were never delivered. Several weeks went by and I thought everything was settled, but I then was contacted by my credit card company saying Amazon had rebutted the dispute, with their response being that the tracking information showed the packages were delivered - this was already known.
I fully understood what the tracking information showed, but I still never received the items. Now, my dispute with my credit card company, which I was forced to go through because Amazon.com made no efforts to help their customer, is at a stand-still due to Amazon's lack of clarity, lack of support, and lack of care for their customers.
Now, after many years of being a loyal, paying customer to Amazon.com's Prime membership, I received an email saying that the company has closed my account on the basis of me requesting too many refunds. However, this is nowhere near the truth. The only source of refund requests comes from a fault in the company itself. Amazon.com did not take appropriate measures to ensure that I would receive the items that I paid for, such as is the case above. Obviously, since I paid for the items, I expect either the item I paid for or my money back so I can order the item from a merchant who WILL ensure that the item gets delivered to me.
So, when I contacted Amazon.com's customer service department, they offered to provide me a refund for the items that the company did not ensure successful delivery of, and I accepted the offer. For the company to now say that I am at fault for accepting these offers is completely ridiculous, and it truly shows how little they care about their customers, even the loyal Prime-paying customers who have dumped thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars into their company.

On placing an order of 3 products on 11th feb, i was given an option for a 2 days delivery. So the estimated delivery date was 13th feb 2015. The products were split into 2 shipments, one of which showed to be 'delivered' on 13th feb on my shipment tracking page, but the products weren't delivered at all and i had to place a replacement order (hoping if not on time, at least they are delivered some day). The second shipment guaranteed for the same date (13th feb) is still not delivered and all the delay in the delivery despite contacting the customer service representatives for 2 days and cross checking if the delivery process is smooth and the products will be received on time. Also, i wasn't notified about the delay of the delivery. I don’t think the company even has a policy to notify such issues to its customers.
As a customer I’ve had an extremely unpleasant experience with both the orders i placed in the last 5 months (first one being more confusing and unsatisfying). Although the number of products offered by the company are infinite (which is impressive), the fact remains still that the company has to work upon its reliability factor. After the second unpleasant experience i don’t think i would like to order anything with amazon. Sincerely, An unpleasantly dissatisfied consumer.

On Thursday February 12th I ordered a book from Amazon prime. I pay for Prime which offers two day shipping for free. I needed next day shipping so I paid an additional fee. The book was listed on the order to be delivered on Friday February 13th by 8PM. It was not. While I was on the phone with an Amazon representative (whose English was abominable by the way) a message popped up that the item would be delivered next business day as it was "delayed." No kidding. This was received at 1pm on Saturday the 14th. I was then connected with UPS who said that they received the order to be delivered via ground.
I called Amazon again and asked to speak to a supervisor who blew me off saying there was nothing they could do. I get they are a huge company. I am/was a good customer, I spend hundreds of dollars on books a month but they could care less. I am out of luck as I have no gift for my husband for Valentines Day. I won't be ordering from them again, they are just not reliable. They offered me absolutely nothing, not even a refund on the expedited shipping. The reps don't speak English clearly either.

This post is in regard to a 3rd party seller on Amazon.com Marketplace - Melea's Things. The seller just launched her site because (in her own words) she shops too much, needs to pay bills and is trying to sell some of her compulsive purchases. I purchased a Williams Sonoma Message in a Cookie Cutter Kit. She was prompt in her shipping, but when I opened it, it was missing items. I contacted her immediately to see if the pieces had somehow been left behind. She apologized and said she had never opened the box and had bought it from another seller. She told me she would give it to me for half the cost ($35.00), but I said no because it was incomplete. I am always borrowing my friend's and was hoping to get my own because we get in a crunch during party time for classroom events. I put it in the mail and returned it to her.
The seller sends me an email and says ok but is charging me a restocking fee. I questioned her about charging a restocking fee for an item that is incomplete. She then sends me an email and said she discussed this with her boyfriend and the two of them remember seeing the items in there even though she told me she had not looked in the box when she bought it. She also accused me of taking items out of the box after she admitted she never looked in it because she never did the project she purchased it for. I contacted Amazon.com to file a complaint immediately to have this seller investigated. BUYER BEWARE - she is unprofessional and inappropriate in her communications. She was not supposed to contact me and since then I have received additional emails that are completely appalling.
She said she would have given it to me for half off and then for just the restocking fee after I had already sent it back, but I was being difficult. She completely missed the point that this product is useless without all of the items because it is a complete system. I told her if I had just wanted a heart-shaped cookie cutter, I certainly would not have paid $69.00, and then accuses me of being a pain about a restocking fee. Again, completely missing the point that she advertised a brand new unopened product, but it was incomplete so I was questioning how she would charge a restocking fee for an item that is missing pieces. Then she proceeds to attack my children (who are 7 & 4 by the way) because I said they are the ones who are missing out on this because the product was for them (for their school parties).
So, long story short Amazon is working with me to refund my money because the seller is incompetent and will be investigating her. I have bought hundreds of products thru Amazon since it's inception and have never had an issue. So if this is the new generation of sellers, they will be detrimental to Amazon's continued success. Just do not purchase from Melea's Things. The seller is too green and unfamiliar about product quality control and customer service.

Amazon.com are a bunch of liars and thieves!!! I tried to buy a Christmas gift for my boyfriend on December 12th from Amazon.com. It was a NoNo hair remover which sadly, I never received! I made a split payment on it, paying part on a gift card and paying $93.46 on a Capital One credit card. Since I never received the item, they said they would refund me with their A-Z Guarantee. The part that was on the gift card was refunded, but the $93.46 was never refunded! I don't care how many times they said they did it! They have their "documentation" that they paid me back, but I swear on my life that I never received a credit for $93.46! How can they have all this documentation that they did it and yet I never received it???
So I turned to my credit card company, Capital One, for help. It turns out, to my amazement and to my dismay, that they support their so-called "documentation" claims, when they themselves can see that they never credited my account!!! What a bunch of liars!!! Someone here is really pulling a fast one! All I can say is I wish all the bad karma in the world to whoever is stealing from me!!! It really sucks! I'm on disability and I really need the money!!!

The "specialist" I ended up talking to treated me like I was brain-dead and kept saying, "Let me put this in simpler terms you can understand better." On top of that there is no way to make a complaint to Amazon corporately. We should at least be able to send in a written complaint about the company policies and service if we want.

I ordered a 'southern cured ham' on Amazon. When I received it (late, but that's a collateral issue), it was labeled "Ready to Cook", but contained no instructions on how to cook. I thought I had ordered a 'fully cooked ham' but it was Christmas Eve and seller was closed. So I proceeded to follow standard instructions from a web search: so many minutes a pound at a specified temperature. (I have all those particulars, but had such a bad experience with Amazon A to Z that I've dreaded dedicating any of my life to trying to re-engage them. If you can help, I will provide then in response. Seems irrelevant as I followed available standard instructions).
When the ham was 'done' per those instructions, the 'ham' consisted of a massive 'chitlin' skin, a roasting pan full of rancid grease, and a rock-hard inedible mass of petrified ham. I have since learned that a cured ham of the sort I ordered (Phillips Brothers, Ashford, NC) is to be washed and warmed, not 'cooked' as per the label. Counting expedited shipping to get it several days before Christmas (not actually accomplished -- everything was jammed -- Christmas shipping), something in the $200 range was just wasted --because proper instructions and information for what 'Ready to Cook' required of me was not given.
When I contacted Phillips Bros, it offered 2 slices of ham and a couple of other things. I replied that was totally unacceptable, and their response was in return was that they would just go through A to Z. A to Z's final determination was that since return would not be accepted by Phillips, Amazon would just refuse to proceed on my behalf. Another odd thing in this transaction was that I purchased it from a 'southern delicacies shop' but it claimed it was acting on behalf of Phillips who did all the order processing. Again, if you can help, even if it is only by republishing my experience, I will do the nasty task of reviving this whole experience, including all correspondence with seller (S) that I can. I am a physically grossly disabled person, so please be patient.

Amazon finally resolved my issue and restored my account.
Original Review: Feb. 7, 2015
I spend thousands a year with Amazon. It's income tax time, I bought over a grand of jewelry. They put my account on hold pending verification of CC statement and I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. It has now been 5 days. Customer service can't do anything but they filled out a ticket for an account specialist to contact me within 24 hours. Within 24 hours the order was removed from my sight and still no contact. I couldn't even believe that they won't even email me to let me know they're even definitely not taking the money. I would hate to seek the products elsewhere and buy them only to get charged by Amazon weeks later without any prior communication or resolve.
I then began to read other blogs where emails were sent to customers telling them their account was suspended for the same and quote, "they don't have to give an explanation". I've also seen posts about that happening to Kindle accounts with all of the purchased apps and books gone. I'm so shocked at the lack of just one simple call or email for resolve and customer service from a company in which the customers have made you this large! I can't provide the order # as now I see why they erase them.

I tried to cancel my Amazon Prime membership a few weeks ago due to a price increase that I did not agree with. I first cancelled online and assumed I would not be charged for another year. A few days later my credit card was charged without my permission. So I called customer service this time to figure out what happened and to get a refund. They did not give a good reason as to why it happened, but they were happy to issue the refund. I gave Amazon the benefit of the doubt and didn't think twice about it.
A few days later my credit card was charged AGAIN. Now I'm raising an eyebrow and wondering what the heck is going on. I called to get a refund and they gladly gave the money back, but again did not have a good reason as to why my card was charged. Now in my head I'm thinking: "wow they really screwed up, but there's no way it will happen again". Well... not a few hours later my card was charged a third time without permission. I was getting quite agitated at this point and immediately called them to get a refund. This time I demanded an answer as to what was going on and warned them this better not happen again. They told me that the last two representatives that handled the issue before did not process the order correctly (pretty lame excuse).
At this point I'm seriously considering cutting Amazon off completely. I can't have some company randomly charging my credit card without permission. However, I have used Amazon for many years and enjoyed the service, so again I assumed they would correct the situation and we would get past this. To my great dismay, my credit card was charged again today.
I called again and this time demanded that all my information be deleted from their website. I told them that I would not have anything to do with Amazon in the future. In my eyes this goes beyond a couple mistakes, it is theft. I’m writing this review to warn people that there is either something deliberately going on at Amazon or their customer service agents are extremely incompetent.

I contacted the seller first, no response, I contacted him again no response, I then contacted Amazon and was told because they are a 3rd party seller there is nothing they can do. I wanted my money returned and the seller removed from selling. I read the reviews on this Miller Liquidations and found NO ONE HAS GOTTEN ANYTHING THEY ORDERED. I then checked the tracking number that has been sitting in the sent position on the Amazon Tracking timeline for 43 days never changing status. The tracking number is fake.
So again I contact Amazon and state this.. So Amazon let me get a clear picture of where you stand on this. I can set up a store front, steal pic off the Internet of items I want to sell on Amazon, price them very low, since I don't have the items anyway and do not intend to ship them, I can do this. I signed up to sell as a professional on amazon on the friday - within seconds as i wanted to sell watches (paypal receipts, proof of purchase and i pay uk tax on this business so books available to see if wanted) i was SUSPENDED. I clicked on the "restricted" section as watches for some reason are a restricted item. I have been an ebay seller of these quirky nurse watches that i hand customize (yes, every person should wear one!) but i've read so much negative feedback about ebay that i'm sure it's only a matter of time before i'm kicked off that site (even being a power seller, top rated seller and 99.9% feedback on almost 8,000 feedbacks). I’ve tried a web-shop but that doesn't get the notice that ebay does. So, enough about ebay and back to amazon.
I've checked the sellers that sell watches and couldn't believe that the same cheap rubbish being sold on ebay with NO limitations is being sold as RESTRICTED ITEMS on amazon for anything between £10-£40 per item. Are people that dumb that they think because its amazon its better quality than ebay? Anyway, i input all my details and up pops ACCOUNT SUSPENDED. So i waited 3 days and now they have blocked me completely. They did deign to send me an email stating i had been linked to another account so was suspended - 'SCUSE ME? I’ve NEVER in my 99 years EVER SOLD ANYTHING with amazon - I've only ever bought 4 items from amazon, paid immediately and left 100% positive feedback!
Because i'm now permanently blocked with no facility to reply to them or ask them anything more, it rejects my password every time even when i get the link to reset my password - if i wasn't crying i'd be laughing at the 3rd email i received today instructing me on a video tutorial as a seller as i'm "almost there" - wherever "there" is meant to be! I can understand copyright and protection against shady sellers but i have proofs! If i've said it once, i'll say it again, WHY OH WHY is there only ebay and amazon as major selling platforms? I advertise on etsy and I offer but they just don't get the sales or the look-ins. a web-shop is a waste of time (even tho’ i've reset mine up again) because unless a million users click on your site you are so far down Google’s list that you'll never get seen. I for one would be prepared to put up some dosh to anyone that could start a site to rival amazon and ebay.
Ebay because it puts the buyers before the sellers and doesn't require the buyers to send proof that an item is "not as described" so just refund even if you know they are lying. Amazon just doesn't want your business at all! I know at the end of the day all they are worried about is their profit margin but didn't the Co-Op start because the staff put their money into the business and therefore we’re all part owners? Can someone do something like this? I can type fast and do what i do on the pc but there must be some entrepreneur out there that can devise a program and help us disgruntled ebay / amazon sellers? I’m actually beginning to think that ebay/amazon are one of the same.

I received an email from the seller before the unit was delivered saying they were sorry they had missed the sale.... having already received an invoice from Amazon..... so I didn't know whether it would arrive or not. I imagined going through all the hassle of trying to recoup the funds although eventually it did arrive. I think it's about time Amazon was taken to task for allowing false advertising on its site. Mind you as it's purported they don't pay their fair share of taxes. I doubt anything will happen.... so what do they care imho ZERO.

I have now warned friends & family to check that Amazon have not illegally defrauded them in the same way. The fact that an automatic refund was instantly available when I canceled leads me to believe your method was underhanded & illegal. I know I am not the only Amazon customer to have this very negative experience. I am very disappointed with Amazon & will consider shopping elsewhere online from now on.

When I went to cart, I was able to see the phone added. Now when I clicked on proceed to checkout, it displayed me a message saying, "You are not registered to purchase this product. I have all the proofs with me to prove my point. This was a clear glitch from Amazon. I want the phone delivered to me in any case. When I called to the customer care, the person there (Name: Suresh) told me that, "You will not get that phone." When I asked him to transfer the call to any senior person, he denied. Beware of Amazon!! I am a loyal Amazon small seller merchant. Out of the blue they suspended my account. This is a financial tactic to hold the seller's funds for 90 days or more. In my case they have held $10,144.00 for 92 days so far and I have not received payment. The money belongs to me and they are obviously using it to fund their horrendous losses in the past few years. I urge anybody in this same situation to contact their attorney general and encourage them to file charges against Amazon. There is a class action lawsuit in California and the attorney general of Washington state is investigating the complaints. Don't become a victim!!

I've purchased a ton over the years and they are a huge company that is so systematic, they don't care about your issues. I had to return a defective item and the accessory I also purchased. They paid for the defect shipping but charged my return shipping for the other item. Never mentioned it to me. It was only $7 but it was annoying. They also sometimes cancel backorders after months of waiting which B&H and Adorama don't usually do and now I'm behind on the backorder on their sites (I don't multi-order...yet). Sigh, they don't care if you're messed over by their policy once in while but it is annoying because years ago I used to call with questions and they were awesome. Now they're too big for that. Still one of the best but wish they still cared for the small businesses that spend less than $25,000 a year.

However if any of you wish to call and ask if they deliver here they will tell you yes, just like they told Amazon. Amazon sends robot letter with apology and tells me they will reship FedEx...Yeah!!
FedEx comes to my door here. I wait, when I get shipping info it is again UPS. I call this time and am told that Amazon has no control over shipper. Who believes that. When I returned it to Target, they said they would put it back on my AMEX card. I do not have an AMEX card. Turns out, a 3rd party took the order and simply went to Target and had it sent to me. If I had not been paying attention, the charge would have been refunded on THEIR card, NOT MINE!! Anyone who is thinking of selling Amazon I would strongly recommend you do NOT! We have sold on Amazon for 5 years and year on year we have increased sales by at least 20% and in 2014 our turnover through Amazon was in excess of £500k, which amazon pocket a nice £100k. Our busiest ever Christmas and there is a nice sum of money sitting in Amazon's account over £50k.
On the 22nd of December I receive an email from amazon to say all of my accounts have been suspended. We also sell on amazon.fr, .de, .es, .it. The email did not state the reason why. I called them to which they told me I cannot speak to anyone and nobody can help me, and that I need to email them. So I emailed them and received a response 7 days later. To which they told me ONE customer has reported an item as counterfeit. The item sold was £25. So they are holding over £50 one month on.
They have still not released my funds. I have provided them with invoices directly from the manufacturer. They have emailed me to say that they need to keep the funds for 90 days. Due to this we have no option but to liquidate the company and ruining my relationship with all my suppliers. It is going to be very hard to get back up from this. THANKS AMAZON. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER SELLING ON AMAZON THEY WILL DO THIS TO YOU TOO!

Amazon is a fraud website. They make up issues and try to hold on your money. I had a technical issue on my account on 1/6/2015. It was not my fault, but Amazon they blocked/suspended my account for not shipping the items. How can I ship something to someone if I don`t have the address and the seller's name? Now they are making up issues, do this, do that, send feedback request to buyer, provide information where you got the items from, how long you have been selling, are you selling anywhere else.
I am sure Amazon does that to many other people so they can keep the money for them self. It also happened to 3 of my other friends. You must be spending the money on stock or something elsewhere. They create issues on your account and keep a hold on your money for 90 days. I would never ever recommend anyone to sell or buy anything on Amazon. You really don`t want to see anyone go through the same pain as me and my family is going through right now.
I am very disappointed with Amazon. On Saturday there was a technical issue on my Amazon seller's account. Amazon blocked or suspended my account for poor performance; saying no tracking number added and I didn't ship items on time. I have proof of every single item that I ship. I ship items twice a day so customers can get their items on time. I have to go through so much to get my money and my account solved. I am new to this Amazon selling; still learning. But if I knew this was sooo much pain for me and my family, I would have never opened an account. I will never ever recommend anyone to sell on Amazon. I have never experienced such a worst and careless customer service before I bought something from Amazon.in. I don't know how they claim themselves as "CUSTOMER OBSESSED" company. I am writing this, after 3 incidents happens with me by Amazon.
Incident 1: Bought 1 TV tuner card. Prepaid through card. Delivered an disputed item. Requested for return/refund. Nothing happened after 10-15 calls, 5-6 emails. Finally got refund after 32 days.
Incident 2: Ordered a dinner set. Cash on delivery. Delivered after 8 days (2 days after the expected date). Luckily checked in-front of the delivery guy and found 4 pieces broken. So returned there it self.
Incident 3: Bought a cosmetic product. Prepaid through card. Not yet delivered from last 10 days. Everyday I am receiving sms saying that - "shipped via Amazon Transportation Services Pvt Ltd., India, could not be delivered as no one was available to receive it." Though I am at home and my number is available for contact. I have called their customer service and provided an alternate number (four times to different executives) but still no resolution.
At the first incident, I thought maybe they missed for some reason. I blamed Indian roads for 2nd incident but after this 3rd incident, I am sure that Amazon is actually a very careless company. Their attitude towards customer is not right. They feel, they can acquire as many as customer because they have money to burn in TV and online advertisement.
My honest suggestion to you all folks, don't buy anything from Amazon. Their brand is gimmick and made on money not on service and commitment. End of the day it is our hard earned money which this type of company won't mind to take away and wash of their hands from responsibility. SO BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM AMAZON.IN.

After days of trying to get help I received a call back from Amazon stating they would pay for the book and all shipping charges. However I had to pay for the book first as it was not a book from Amazon but another vendor. I received this in writing via an email.
I reordered the book at over double the price and then within hours Amazon told me they would not cover the cost as stated in the email and verbally. I was told they would issue a credit but that it could not be used to pay for the book I ordered, only items originating from Amazon. They refused to do a refund. I had to contact the vending company myself and cancel the order. In order to resolve the issue I had to contact the Better Business Bureau and the state of Washington consumer protection division. I was told to write the CEO a letter and he would get back to me. A lie again. I heard from a person in the executive office stating they would credit my account after Christmas. When I attempted to respond to the email I found that I could not reply as the return email address was invalid. This left me no way to communicate with the person sending the letter. I never received a replacement book. Amazon could have simply replaced the book and sent it on time for Christmas.

I am not sure if my complaint has actually been resolved. Only time will tell. I had a fairly large order that didn't arrive in 3 days let alone 2. Under " contact us " I decided to write rather than call since calling has never done much good.
I got a reply very quickly and was offered an extra month of Prime. The 4th day rolled around and still no package. I wrote again but a bit stronger letter to say the least.
I asked why we are expected to review our items we buy and service from vendors we get but can not review Amazon itself. That is not right and a bit hypocritical.
I also stated that these items were bought on the Market Place and how did they expect me to give that vendor and honest review since the 1st question asked is did you receive you items on time. Am I suppose to lie or not review them at all ? Either way you are doing a disservice to the vendor and myself. The vendor has a 100% rating and I am not ruining that rating due to Amazon's mistake.
I got an immediately reply and I think it was from a supervisor. She said you write powerful letters but have valid points. :) She made a very good credit to my account. When I went to pay my bill, I had ordered the blu-ray box set of Deadwood, and she had marked it down a good deal also.
Since then I have had no problems at this time. Like I say only time will tell. The moral to this story is don't waste your time calling. Write them and convey your displeasure. It may or may not work as it did for me but it sure beats talking on the phone to get nowhere at all and they do ( or did for me ) respond quickly. BTW she did state specifically why the package was delayed. This what customer service should be. Stand behind your products and your service.

I have had a Prime membership for several years. In all that time I never had a problem receiving my orders in 2 days. The complete orders were normally all in one box or 2 if larger products. Not so in 2014 or so far in 2015. If I order 3 items I will get 1 or 2 of them in 2 days and the other(s) on the 3rd or 4th day. This has been very consistent. If I order 1 item I will get it in 2 days as promised.
When calling Amazon they always have the same reply "If I don't receive an order on the second day it nearly always arrives on the 3rd". Well Duh, I don't pay 79-99.00 a year for 3 Day delivery especially when it happens as often as it does. They go back to, "I am sure you will receive it on the 3rd day. If not call us back". Why? It will be the song and dance.
If you will notice on the checkout page where your items are listed it clearly states "Guaranteed Delivery Date" by each item. Yet 5 minutes later when your order confirmation hits your e-mail all of the sudden it says "Estimated Delivery Date". There is no "Guarantee" to it. There is a big difference between Guaranteed and Estimated. That folks is what is called Covering Your Butt!
Today's shipment I got 3 out of 5 items. All were shown out for delivery with UPS as in the past. Since this is happening more times than not when I order more than one item from now on if I buy 3 items or 10 I will order each and every item separately. Yes, it will be a little extra hassle but I will get my orders in 2 days again and make them stand behind their promise. They sure won't do it any other way.
I will then cancel my prime membership when it expires since the 2 day shipping is all I use. But I can sure live without it. The highest priced items I buy most often is dog food and treats. There are 4 online companies (that I know of) that are as cheap or cheaper than Amazon and if you spend 45.00 you get free 2 day shipping anyway and I easily spend that amount. There are plenty of places you can get free 2 day shipping on just about anything and these places know their biggest competitor is Amazon and they are going out of their way to meet or beat them on pricing and shipping.
I might add I have yet to get a late order, damaged order, or poor service with any of the ones I have done business with. Amazon is not the begin all and end all they would have you believe.

However, I see a couple mentions of accounts getting closed after complaints or returns. Is that how it works? Should I expect to have my account closed soon? I received a bunch of packages over the past 24 hrs, and almost all have either damage, or are clearly used (and filthy) when I bought them as NEW. I am wondering if Amazon gets such low prices by selling returns and refurbished as new. I found this to be true at brick and mortar establishments such as Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I am writing once again to complain of the shocking treatment I have had. Firstly your way of thanking me for being a loyal customer by giving me 2 gift certificates for other people that sign up to instant video. I would never recommend anyone to instant video. I spoke to a couple of your "advisors" about instant video and was basically told that I was lying and the quality between the free streamable videos and the ones that you rent are exactly the same. This is not the case and the issue remained unresolved, with me and my family actually switching providers yet still paying the monthly fee.
I had an issue with prime last year where my bank account was debited for an unauthorised subscription to prime for £49.00. I did get this amount back but it was not as instantly as it was taken. I believe the refund had to be requested then, authorised and then processed I think in total 5 business days. So when I checked the balance of my bank account on the 30th December and discovered there had been yet another unauthorised payment to prime this time for £79.00 I was well within my rights to feel robbed and let down again!!! I contacted my bank who instructed me to check my account and cancel any memberships or payment information I have with you. So when I went on to the so called help link and it revealed 1) I had no prime membership, and 2) you currently hold no payment details for me I was a bit astounded as to how these wrongdoings are taking place.
I contacted my bank again who called Amazon customer services on my behalf. I was frankly disturbed when I had to join the call in a conference call with yourselves and my bank as the advisor could not find any account for me. She was very unclear and impolite and kept moving the mic around so the sound of her voice was at times inaudible. It was a very uncomfortable telephone call. I informed her I am 28 weeks pregnant and didn't need the stress, she did not acknowledge this or offer empathy or comment. The outcome of the whole process is that once again I am out of pocket with Amazon only this time you managed to rob me 5 days after xmas. The refund should be in my account in 3 business days but as we have bank holidays etc. I am estimating this will be approx Tue or Wed at the earliest.
I was told at the end of the call I hope this problem didn't spoil my new year's mood. To be honest being left with no money the day before new year's eve did spoil my mood. But what a patronising thing to say. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I am still waiting for a delivery of my daughter's xmas gift ordered Nov with an estimated date of no later than Dec 11. It still has not arrived and communications with the seller have been abrupt and unresolving. They should state stipulate est delivery if they can not fulfill it, regardless of time of year. I am informing you now I DO want compensating, and will be interested to learn how you intend to do this, and mark my words if it is not deemed suitable I will be seeking legal advice, and spreading the word of my unfortunate experiences through local newspapers, the national press and social media.

Then they tell me they will tell me the answer on the 25, then nothing until the 27th. I could tell they wanted to hold two weeks pay back. I said "I can't have you not pay me when due on the 27th." I am a single (widow) mother who begged and borrowed to keep inventory in stock for the Christmas rush. I had to buy bags, labels, paper, ink, basic stuff. Now on Dec 23 I call to inquire about my order and was extremely rudely informed that this situation was my fault because the 5 to 8 day policy started from when they decide to ship, has nothing to do with when the order was placed and I wouldn't receive any of the items before Christmas because I used the "cheap shipping option”, and they could cancel part of my order but my money would not be refunded until I received the items and shipped them back to amazon. Wow that’s quite a scam!
In the meantime, no funds to buy gifts for my grandkids or any of the family for that matter. My doctor told me to make this Christmas special because I most likely won’t be around for another. Showing up empty-handed isn’t what he meant I’m sure, so what’s next? Ooh, I forgot to mention that the rep I last spoke with was a management member and really proud of his promotion from fry-cook, and is so holy he decided to hang up on me, no accident. He made it clear that my problem was mine not his and did not want to deal with this or me.

I listed 2 comforter on amazon and they both sold. The buyer who brought the second comforter had the post office attempt to deliver the item only to leave it sitting in the post office for 5 days with the tracking information showing item to be picked up. To make a long story short the buyer contacted amazon on the 5th day and told amazon that the item was damage even with the package sitting in the post office and claimed that the post office was looking for postage due. I prepaid for the shipping on amazon so after emailing the buyer to get the exact damage of the item she then emailed me back and said, "Well the item was not damage."
I told her that I needed the item back to assess the damage and that I would be charging a restocking fee along with the cost of the shipment cost and I emailed the buyer and told her that she never responded to me then another 4 days passed and she filed an a-z claim against me saying the item was different from the listing. Again, she never laid eyes on the item. It was still sitting in the post office and I responded to amazon within the 7 days and still they sided with the buyer and they charge my seller account. How can amazon side with lying buyers.

I just created a seller account in Amazon. One of my friends is an expert in Amazon so I asked him to tell me anything he knows about listing and the rest. I signed in with his computer and he told me so many things. Day after this, I got an email from Amazon telling me that "We are writing to let you know that we have removed your selling privileges, canceled your listings, and placed a temporary hold on any funds in your seller account."! I knew my friend who I got help from had a suspended account with Amazon before so I thought as I signed in from his computer day before, Amazon thought this account is for him too so closed it. I appeal it and told them all story about this, but they answered me: "We are unable to provide detailed information on how we link related accounts. However, we have thoroughly reviewed our records and confirmed that we have significant evidence that your account is related to another previously blocked account."
I called them and talked with customer service. They opened a ticket about this issue and promise me that someone will call me in 48 hours to talk about this issue, also I got an email address from them so I can send an email to them too (No one called me as 10 days passed since then). I wrote another email to them mentioning all things that happened and telling them that I'll be ask any question or provide any documents you want to solve this problem. The day after I got this answer: "We regret we are unable to provide further information on this situation. Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account may not be answered. The closure of this account is a permanent action. Any subsequent accounts that are opened will be closed as well."
They don't even care about what are you talking about. I've never had a suspended account with Amazon so they shouldn't remove my seller privilege. I always sell and buy stuff from websites but my friend told me Amazon is really good too. Experience Amazon just for 10 days taught me to not using it neither for selling nor for buying.
At first, Amazon was a website to let people list their items for selling, but in recent years Amazon found out it is much profitable if Amazon list items themselves and just let people buy stuff, that is why they don't care about people who want to sell items on Amazon. Actually they don't need lots of sellers, they just want buyers! I am so disappointed with Amazon and will never use it. End of story.

I would like to start by saying I've spent over $15k on Amazon over the last 5 years and I told everyone who would listen how great Amazon was. I would like to apologize to those individuals and retract my statement for the following reason: My bank failed to complete a transfer request into my main account which left me with no time to wait another day for another transfer as the purchases were Christmas gifts I had to wrap and ship before Christmas, so I set up my checking account from that bank to complete the Amazon purchase. After which, my bank sent the transfer even though online, there was no pending transfer and all the money was still in my account. Amazon uses a 3rd party company (TRS) to guarantee payment so only a portion of my items arrived. So until TRS contacted Amazon stating the issue has been resolved, my account would stay on hold and since they can't see my account, the status of the other ordered items was unknown. The same day of notification from Amazon that there was an issue, I went into my Amazon account and changed the payment method for all the items.
Then the Amazon rep brought TRS into the call on Thursday (12/18) and I offered a credit card to clear those items. That wasn't an option. It was stated the items had to be resubmitted through that checking account on Fri. 12/19. So I transferred the money back to the original account. On Friday, I drove to my bank and they apologized and refunded the fees they charged me and faxed a letter to TRS claiming responsibility for the mistake. I then contacted TRS again to ask why the items haven't posted. I was told the person who could check didn't have a telephone. Really? Nor could they confirm the receipt of the fax (They only have a hard fax machine so the paper fax was misplaced). I then brought my bank manager into the 3-way call and she again confirmed it was a bank error and offered to send the fax again which she did. After 2.5 hours on the phone, we were given the person who didn't have a phone and she confirmed it was bank error and had the fax but couldn't contact Amazon until I provided proof that the items were cleared (that call lasted 3 hours and 5 minutes).
Later that day, the items never posted. They didn't post until two days later on Monday 12/22. I contacted TRS rep and sent the proof of posting. She forwarded the request for release to her manager and Amazon at 9:00 AM. At 11:30, I called Amazon and the account specialist also didn't have a phone and they had no way to contact them. They could only send an email and wait for a response. On the first call, I spoke with a 1st level supervisor who wouldn't transfer me to her manager and was rude and she disconnected the call. I called back and got the supervisor's manager and while on hold, I called on my second cell and also got another supervisor's manager. One of them was unable to help me. The other one - Rod ** - was able to contact the specialist who was supposed to be in a vacuum and unreachable. Rod stated they had received the request from TRS and I would be receiving an email that my account was no longer on hold (that call lasted 2.5 hours).
I called amazon at 4:00 PM requesting that my account be released. However, no one is able to see an account that is on hold except the specialist in the vacuum that is unreachable by any human. I brought the TRS rep into the call and she confirmed all was corrected and the account should be released, but to no avail, because the vacuum people had to release it (that call lasted 1 hour 45 minutes). Tuesday morning, my account was released and the order for the remaining Christmas presents had been canceled by Amazon even though they were paid for through my regular credit card that has been on file with them for over 5 years. I tried to reorder but they wouldn't arrive in prior to Christmas, even with 1 day shipping. I will NEVER use Amazon again, I found some of the same items Amazon offered on the sellers website for the same price and they promised to deliver by Christmas eve. The other item, I found on Overstock.com for the same price with free shipping and guaranteed to be delivered on Christmas Eve.

I recently bought a Sony Clock Radio from Amazon UK. It has a back-up battery which was dead on arrival - obviously a regular problem of stock that has been "on the shelf" for a few weeks, as the user instructions from Sony explain that the supplier will replace the battery FOC as a warranty claim. Except Amazon explains the only remedial process is for me to return the original item (in total) and they will send a replacement. But how does that help since the replacement will probably have the same problem! One could carry on replacing the product many times until maybe one clock radio would finally arrive with a working back-up battery?! In fact Amazon could send me two (!) new batteries for less cost than their paying the return postage on the product - but Amazon says they cannot do that!

I placed 135 orders with Amazon, over a span of a few months, and recently received a few boxes that had been very poorly packaged. Until this time, I had not returned any of my orders. However, I assume due to the Christmas season getting busy for them or something, some of the boxes were not packed well, and the items inside were ruined as a result. Also, there were a few items that they sent that were not as described on their selling page (i.e. used instead of new, when we paid for new, etc). On these orders ONLY, I requested returns. After authorizing the returns, sending UPS to collect, and refunding my money, Amazon sent an email stating that they were closing my account due to "policy violations". I can only assume they were referencing my returns, since that's the only thing I had done differently than the preceding months.
In the span of six months, I spent close to $7,000, so I am not sure why they have issue with a few hundred dollars - especially since the returns were sent back for valid reasons. I requested that Amazon reopen my account, but they refused. I then requested that they at least send me a copy of my orders, so I could track the ones that have not yet arrived. They refused.
They told me that they could send information on any orders, but that I would have to provide the order numbers or item names. This is quite impossible, since they won't let me access my order history! There are too many orders to remember which particular items and order numbers I need to send them. Now, I have no way of tracking my orders, to be sure they all arrive safely, and also to be sure I remember all of what I've ordered that needs to arrive. Totally unfair and they are completely unwilling to even open the account for a few days to allow this.
When I asked them why they were closing the account, they just gave some sort of nebulous response about how they can't tell me what caused them to make their decision, but that my account was linked to another one with the same last name that had violated their policies. I have many relatives who have Amazon accounts, and don't understand how what any of them did or didn't do with their accounts has anything to do with me and my account, but am angry at being treated this way unnecessarily.

Beyond irate right now! Placed an order with Amazon for Little Tikes indoor N outdoor bbq on December 16th and it originally stated that it would arrive by December 24. Go to check order status today because I had ordered numerous things for my 19 month old for Xmas and already received some things. NOW the shipping date on the BBQ was changed from Dec 24th to arriving between Dec 24th and Jan 2nd. I tried to upgrade the shipping method to expidited (not even upset at this point about the shipping change that I was unaware of because its christmas), it takes me to the shipping page and only gives me the option of "standard shipping" which is what I already had originally and the page had a confirm button. There was absolutely no warning given that even though the shipping method was staying the same that the dates would change. I hit confirm because there was no back or cancel button. It changed the shipping date to Dec 26th to Jan 2nd. EVEN THOUGH THE METHOD WASN'T CHANGED!! I call Amazon customer service and of course get someone in another country. They try and upgrade to expedited and couldn't. So I asked for my order to be out back to Dec 24th to Jan 2nd instead of the Dec 26th to Jan 2nd.
I was told that this cannot be done because I already updated the order - even though nothing changed. I asked for a supervisor - they told me same thing and that essentially when I hit confirm I was put at the back of the line. I asked to be transferred to a rep in the United States. Talked to a member of leadership management or some BS and was told that they couldn't do anything as well. This is a choice that Amazon makes with having this policy - a choice and when it's a choice they can change it and they refused. My shipping method did NOT change and there was no warning before you hit confirm that even though the shipping method did not change that the dates could change.
Seriously thinking of talking to a lawyer base on the principle of the matter and I am sure that there is a lawyer out there that wants a suit like this that could turn into a class action suit and cost Amazon money. This is a misleading policy that needs to be changed and the only way to compel them to change it would be a lawsuit because they are so big. It's a shame because I am a Prime Customer and so is my husband. But I think that is going to change. I ended up canceling the order and buying the product somewhere else and I will have it by 12/24.

I asked to speak with someone else and she said there was no one else. When questioned on that, she asked who exactly I wanted to speak to, and I told her a supervisor. They had just realized that there was 81.58 Euro ($99) charge on their card for amazon membership. They had called the bank who said one of them must have signed up for membership and told them they paid 60 Euros ($79) the year before. Distressing at the best of times to throw money away without realizing it, but more distressing for senior, in part because of limited income but in part just a demoralizing sense of not being on top of things anymore. The only number I could find for Amazon Customer service was a 1-888 number, which they cannot dial form Ireland. So I did.
What transpired was a heartwarming tale of goodwill. Eva patiently spelled through every email address I know of for my Mom and/or Dad. We found the one that was registered with Amazon and at the end of the 20 minute call, they have a full refund pending to their visa account, for this year's membership and for last. They have their money back in the bank and they feel on top of things again. I cannot thank you enough Amazon, or Eva. I am surprised and impressed by the lack of red tape, the ease of processing the request and your corporate policy that allowed Eva the discretion to assist us in the way she did. You made my parents' day, and for that I am truly thankful. On one of their trips, or perhaps even.

I made a purchase of a plant that I wanted and was hard to find on Amazon.com, and they took payment information from me which included my card number etc.... However, I placed this order around an hour ago, and the charge is still not showing up on my card as yet. Is this a bad thing, or are they just slow to process an order?? Can anyone please explain this to me, and thanks in advance!!
