Amazon is my go to for online shopping. We buy everything and have also returned a few items without a hassle. We have purchased everything from college text books to food items. The one concern I have is if you buy something such as toilet paper in bulk from Costco. The same toilet paper on amazon may seem to be the same or better deal until it arrives. The quality and amount is not the same as it would be if you purchased from Costco. At any rate Amazon for the most part is great. I just recently used Amazons new service Amazon Prime Now. I paid the extra $7.99 for 1 hour delivery. If I didn't want to do the 1 hr it would have been around 2-4 hour delivery window for free being a prime member. The items showed up within the hour. No problems. Cons on that is the delivery person expects a tip. I understand and don't mind tipping. I always tip more than 20 percent. But this does add to the cost and that is a con from my perspective.

Ordering from Amazon has always been a positive experience for me. Items have always been received when expected. I had one problem with a merchant not crediting my account for a returns item. After 2 months I noticed my account had not been credited so I contacted the merchant with no response. When I contacted Amazon my account was credited immediately. I did have the receipt from the post office when I mailed the product back so it was able to be tracked back to the merchant. Always keep receipts!!

Amazon is easily the most customer friendly business on the planet. Amazon thinks, eats, and breathes customer friendly. The prime membership is simply amazing. My wife and I have been able to make a much more educated purchase than ever before. The customer reviews and the two day shipping make buying confidence at an all time high for me. Many times I find a little lower price somewhere else, but not enough to make it worth it. Amazon rocks this world.

I live in a remote area in Georgia, 25 miles from any major shopping stores. I began using Amazon in July of 2010 and have not had any problems with on-time delivery or product quality. If I was not satisfied with a particular product or misread the description of the product, I had absolutely no problem with returning that item. Right now I am waiting on 2 items that I've ordered and have been kept aware of their delivery date. I'm very happy with the many items I've received and kept from Amazon and their affiliated suppliers.

I love shopping on Amazon.com. It's very simple to use, fast shipping, good quality products, and I can usually find just about everything I need or want right from the comfort of my own home; or by downloading their free and easy to use smartphone app. They have something for everyone! You can even make a registry on their site and share it with friends and family so others know what to buy for you for birthdays, baby showers, holidays, anything! Speaking of Amazon, I just received a package in the mail from Amazon as I'm typing this! How exciting, it's like Christmas. Haha. Wonder what it is? Time to check my mailbox! Can't beat the free shipping options on so many of their items.

I have used Amazon.com's services many times throughout the years. I really Love Amazon Prime! This is the best option for those who need specific items not sold readily @ local merchants. I have had a recent experience of purchasing a vacuum through Amazon Prime. I purchased the vacuum through a secondary merchant with the Free 2-day shipping option. The vacuum worked great for one use, then the button stuck in the 'On' position. I was able to return the item in the same box, print a shipping label and was refunded within 24 hours! I then purchased the same vacuum through an Amazon fulfillment warehouse. Received it in 2 days and it works great. :) Would highly recommend Amazon & Amazon Prime!!

As an aggregator and sourcing agent for online services, Amazon provides exemplary service. The only difficulty with their site, from my point of view, is the difficulty of distinguishing the differences (other than price) between the sellers. Shipping policies (e.g., who can ship overnight, via Prime, and who doesn't) is a challenge to navigate, at least for me. As to Amazon's service, they are first rate. I had difficulties in understanding shipping policies and contacted them on an Sunday afternoon at about 3:00 PM, not expecting anything but an email the next day. I received a personal call about 20 minutes later asking how they could help. Impressive.

I am a big fan of Amazon. When we first moved here in 2007, the closest store was about 15 miles away and I quickly realized the value of Amazon Prime, that delivers boxes to your home via UPS (or other sources). I saved a lot of money and time using their service and their shipping is always fast, efficient, and excellent quality to protect the product. Their prices are very competitive with brick and mortar stores and their return policy is very easy and convenient (they send you a return number and you take the device to the closest UPS).

That said I rarely return things, but their process works well. Amazon also keeps track of your purchases so you can quickly check to see what served you well or alternatives if those are no longer available. The whole experience with Amazon has been a pleasure and I turn to them first when making a purchase - to compare prices and read about a product initially (as well as customer comments) but I usually purchase from them as well. My time is valuable and having something delivered to my door is a very positive benefit.

I signed up for the Amazon Prime Membership to save on shipping charges and it was worth it. The response time for Prime merchandise is phenomenal! Returns are quick and easy; and, I only had a problem with about 2% of purchases, i.e., defect in product. I have not had any problem in receiving the wrong item. It is very difficult for me to physically 'go shopping' so I do a LOT of shopping online. Amazon is the absolute BEST at what they do. I stick with the Prime products whenever possible and the service is amazing!

Amazon is a well organized company - their Amazon Prime is an outstanding service. I like it for the convenience and value. I even order birthday/Christmas gifts there. The few times I had a problem with a product, their customer service was excellent - just download the return label and have UPS pick it up. Amazon replaces or refunds immediately. I don't particularly like shopping at malls and really prefer the online retailers. I probably order from Amazon at least twice a week.

I purchased through Amazon and was deceived by their advertising. I had researched the items I was purchasing and would not buy because the cost in US dollars was too high. I finally found the items I wanted quoted in Canadian dollars. The invoice also reflected Canadian dollars NOT American. However I was charged American dollars. After much emailing back and forth I finally gave up as they did not reply to my last email. They said my purchase would be converted to American dollars upon checkout. It was not.

Because of a disability, I'm not able to shop for too long at one time so ordering from Amazon has been an advantage for me. In several years of using Amazon, there have been only a few minor mishaps, which were caused by UPS (package left at the wrong apartment building once), and were fixed in a short amount of time. If an item I ordered is no longer available, Amazon informs me by email. I'm able to choose gifts and send them directly to the recipient without shopping on foot and having to make an extra trip to the post office. Most of the time, the shipping is free. If I want something sooner I can ask for an item to be expedited, but the free shipping usually only takes two days. If an item ordered on Amazon is sent by another company, it may take longer. I am informed by email of the status of my order, and I can check on it any time through the Amazon emails. I highly recommend ordering from Amazon especially if time or health is an issue.

I have never had a bad experience with Amazon. One time I had ordered a KitchenAid mixer as a wedding gift for a cousin's wedding. I just figured everything was fine. I never got a thank you note from my cousin but I didn't want to complain. However about a year after the wedding I happened to mention that I hadn't gotten a thank you to someone who in turn mentioned it to a relative who told their parents. The parents replied that my cousin didn't get a mixer from me. So when that got back to me I called Amazon. They looked into it and said it had been reported as delivered - left on porch. So we figured it was stolen off the porch. Although it had been almost a year, Amazon still credited my cousin's Amazon account the cost of the mixer so they could purchase one. So I really have faith in Amazon.

While I enjoy the use of Amazon Prime, I find that the membership does not always have the better price. I often find that I pay less purchasing from vendors Amazon displays with price comparison, including shipping costs. I do not like purchasing from non-domestic sellers. Specially China; products are often copies of originals and quality is often incredibly inferior, and take weeks to arrive. While I try to avoid making such purchases, regulations (NOT Amazon's) make it difficult to find out I have purchased from overseas until the item shows as shipped.

But, buyer beware whenever it's an unknown company and whether you need the gift(s) for a special occasion by a specified date. I ordered 2 Christmas presents on Dec 2nd but did not arrive until Jan 12th, only to find out they were international companies. Know the facts, definite delivery dates, and guaranteed items. One item wasn't what was only a partial order but the item delivered showed a different photo. If this happens, demand a refund or use VISA to back you. Have never been disappointed with Amazon purchases. They keep you informed of expected delivery dates and so far in at least a dozen orders it was accurate. As a Canadian it's advisable to order through Amazon.ca rather than Amazon.com because with the exchange involved, you could be very disappointed in what you pay compared to what you expected to pay. It's easy to order from the .com side without noticing you've done so, so again exercise caution before you purchase and only browse the .ca address.

This is by far the best way to shop. When I have a need, rather than go shopping and guess if they have it or not, I search for it on Amazon, where I always find what I need and more. There I get many stores selling that product, in the United States as well as outside the country. I can compare prices, including shipping cost, read the product reviews, and learn further about that product without driving to one store at a time, driving, parking, wasting gas, time, and energy. Also I base my selection on the reviews of the company (seller). Once I read the reviews and compare the pros and cons and prices, I may place an order with the company of choice, and my package is on the way.

I am not an online shopping addict, although I love being able to fill any need by searching any products online. Then I get a notice on my cell phone when the product is shipped out, and what day it will be delivered. Amazon is the most ingenious idea someone ever had, has saved me a lot of money, time, gas, and energy, not to mention what I can learn about products by reading the reviews. There is none better.

I shopped with Amazon since the early days when they sold nothing but books. What they have done with the Amazon brand since then is nothing short of amazing. True, you do give up personal attention and interaction when dealing with an e-commerce giant, but I cannot recall a single order or product problem that could not be resolved with the various online tools they provide. Like Walmart, if people don't agree with Amazon business practices then no one is forcing them to shop there. I absolutely love Amazon because their website is easy to use. They offer free shipping after you spend a certain amount, and I have ALWAYS received my purchases earlier than promised - EXCEPT when it is through another retailer through their site. But that is a chance you take when there is something you really want. I do not like this about Amazon. I am finding that a lot more items are offered from independent vendors, which costs shipping rates that are, in my opinion, pretty steep or more than I want to spend. I have gone to other sources to place orders quite a lot in the past year because of this.

Although their website can take some getting used to in the beginning, I have found that there is a method and it is a good one for the scope of their business. Every time I have called or chatted (which is an option I absolutely love!), they have resolved my problem or issue quickly. Overall, I do like Amazon; I can almost always get what I want if I cannot find something I want to purchase anywhere else.

Amazon is quite simple to use. When my merchandise has been faulty, there is a number to call and speak to a live person or an online email or place to put that the merchandise needs to be returned and the reasons. I was given so many days to return the device and a choice to have UPS come and pick it up. I received my new item before I sent back my old item. I was emailed a label for attaching or the UPS person already had one. I paid nothing for the replacement. The replacement came within 3-5 days. I also one time never received my second hand item from an independent seller on Amazon and was refunded.

I have used Amazon for years and have never been let down. Not that a purchase or two has not turned to be a bad product, but, the online purchase process has been good. My tip is to look at the reviews before buying, and ask questions, and if there is not enough detail on the item, do not buy it from that seller. Also, prime or not, look at where the product is shipping from. Nothing from China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, etc will arrive in two days, maybe not even in five. Schedule accordingly.

I have noticed lately that there are more and more low-quality third party sellers on Amazon, and they tend to overwhelm the search results which can be frustrating. I've had several experiences in the past year where my search results have displayed blatantly counterfeit products from third party sellers based overseas, with very misleading descriptive text. Amazon is still the online sales leader. Growth and on-time holiday deliveries are the biggest challenge. They have fair to competitive prices for most product offerings but tout their deliveries, which normally beat their deadline. In effort to make a high volume of Christmas Eve deliveries, 2015 proved too big a challenge with numerous deliveries with their partner UPS missed the "promised" delivery date and the changes to the delivery date were not acknowledged until the time they were due.

Kudos to Amazon for letting me know my December 24th 8:00 PM delivery was being rescheduled, but I had that figured out an hour earlier. UPS was so overwhelmed, they dumped orders off at the local Post Office in the last few hours. Probably had too many other orders direct from customers they felt more obligated to deliver on-time. Also had a gift basket miss its targeted delivery via UPS because it contained wine and could not be dropped off, but I also heard FedEx delivered late this past season.

Its "best effort" 2-day. I've waited up to 5 business days for a prime item, and the response from customer service is basically, "These things happen". 1-day shipping is a gamble at best. I ordered something I really needed the next day, and the ordering page said if I order in the next hour I would get it. I ordered the item, and paid an extra $7 for next day shipping.

When it didn't come the next day I contacted customer service. They said that the e-mail I received confirming the order told me that the item wouldn't be coming the next day. They said that this can happen, and I should read the confirming e-mails. I objected, but again they just said "These things happen", and I wasn't given any type of refund (this was my real objection - they should have at least refunded my premium shipping charge.) My error for not reading the confirming e-mail. So, if you understand that you are paying a premium for fast shipping, and that "fast" sometimes can be "almost fast", then Prime is a good deal. Kudos to Amazon, however, for making the ordering process as painless as possible.

Buying from Amazon is cost-effective and simple. The price is very reasonable. The delivery is acceptable as I live in Southeast Asia. The goods I purchase are books, children toys, stationeries and light electronics. The existence of Amazon really helps me as I could save from 20 to 70 percents compared if I were to purchase the goods from Singapore. The only problem I have with Amazon is not because of the Amazon itself. The Singapore government restricts the purchase of up to Sing dollar 400 for no tax. Above that value, the tax import of 7% will be imposed. This is no good at all. I keep my shopping up to Sing Dollar 400 for each transaction with Amazon. For a foreign country customer like me, sometime it gets a bit difficult to buy some things from Amazon that does not deliver to foreign country. Things like portable scanner, mobile phone, printer, laptop, or gadget, most of them cannot be delivered to a foreign address.

Therefore, I have to set up an account in the US for my delivery address. For this purpose I will be charged logistic from the company I set up the address and storage. The only problem I have with buying books from Amazon is I cannot really look at the content more than few pages (sometime even not able to pre-read few pages at all). So if I really want to buy some high price books (above US 20/30) then I look at the library first or look at review people have (even sometime book review can also be manipulative). So far, my experience shopping with Amazon is reliable and I had no problems at all. Once they sent me wrong books and I did not need to return but they send me again the right ones. They respond quickly and without hassle. I recommend you to be a customer with Amazon. Really, it totally save you a lot of money and less time to go around.

Every few months I have to order Sterile solution for a Sclera Contact lens, as well an inserting tool and this is the best place for both. I am able to order from 2 different companies along with any other items I might be purchasing and have them ship at the same time for free. It might take a little longer than normal shipping this way but I have never paid for shipping with Amazon as long as my purchase is $45 I think. I have always added something else to my order so this has never been a problem and I always order well enough in advance that this longer wait time is not an issue for me.

I think my longest wait time for delivery was about 10 days (some holiday and weekend played a part). I tried initially to use Wal-mart for the prescription of the Sterile Solution and they did not carry it. Leave it to Amazon to have almost everything you could need or want. My only complaint is that you really need to compare sizes and cost with your local Wal-mart store because I have found Amazon to be overpriced on things from Lysol & Cottonelle, to name just a few as well having to pay taxes and shipping.

I gave a good rating to customer service, because anything less would imply that there was a problem, when in truth, I've never had to call their customer service. I've never had any problems that required it. I do occasionally order from some of the others on your list, but mostly I stick to Amazon. It is comprehensive and trustworthy. I have read that other retailers accuse Amazon of unfair practices, but I am not another retailer, I am a customer; and from my vantage point there are no problems. They see to my needs; and if they make money off of that, all power to them. I live in a small town and there is very little variety of goods available. I HAVE to shop online if I want anything out of the ordinary, so this is not just laziness on my part. I like the fact that Amazon can usually supply me with what I need. Occasionally I use eBay or Wal-mart or specialty suppliers, but I generally look on Amazon first.

Most of my orders have taken a long time to arrive. They use huge boxes for small items or just a few items, with terrible packaging & shipping (tossing all the packaging on top of all the jumbled items, not sealing boxes correctly so that they were partially open, packages left upside down, packages left out in the rain so rain seeped in and ruined everything inside, shipping perishable items to Phoenix in the summer with nothing to keep them cool, etc.) At least one item per order has been defective, of poor quality, and/or broken.

When there's a problem, you have to deal in writing online with the actual seller, not amazon, & the last 2 times the sellers were from Asia & their English was unintelligible. Customer service is occasionally great but usually atrocious. Sometimes techs don't even know the products or policies, have thick accents, put you on hold for very long periods, both by phone or chat, & disconnect/end calls & chats when they are confused, even though they haven't helped or answered questions yet. They are NOT always the cheapest, & they don't do price-matching. I've seen even inexpensive items that were several dollars more than on other sites. I could go on & on. I keep ordering from them because I am disabled and can't go out shopping, they carry many products, they have free shipping if you spend a certain amount of money (which also forces you to spend more), & I am stupidly optimistic.

Living in a remote part of US I use Amazon more because I can get items I can't find in limited shopping areas here. Amazon gives me multiple choices of same type items and multiple prices. Shipping is reasonable though I'm not quite sold on "Prime" yet and don't use it. Multiple items generally ship at the same time provided Amazon is filling the order. If a mistake is made Amazon is swift to address/fix it no matter if the item is not fulfilled by them or a private seller. Private sellers are held to a high standard by Amazon. A recent order I received in November was missing one item I just discovered a few days ago. I called thinking the time frame for reporting the missing item would cause me problems in getting it but I got no hassle and received the item within three days. Shipments from Amazon almost always arrive at the appointed time frame.

I reported it immediately and I just heard from the seller. They want me to take a picture and send it to them but I don't know how to send it so I will make do with the 2 broken shelves but I was a little disappointed with Amazon. The plastic shelves can't be used for anything else so why can't they just send them to me. Amazon needs to be more careful picking their sellers.

At the time of ordering it as usual showed a delivery time of Wednesday. Now it shows Friday. After calling them they suggested I should hope it gets to me sooner, which is a possibility. My partner and I are the only occupants of our home, and nobody besides us has ever been given our account information.

If Amazon has experienced a data breach, then they should have reported it to those affected in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. If it is an internal glitch that keeps triggering bogus "purchases", then they need to resolve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?? A year ago I bought an iPad mini. I got it, powered it on for 20 minutes before it stopped working completely. It had some hardware problem, I guess because it was from some sketchy 3rd party selling on Amazon. That was $200 dollars down the drain. I complained and tried to get Amazon to return it to the buyer (IT WAS AN OPTION FROM AMAZON'S SITE)... I don't recall what the option was. I'm not even going to bother looking it up again. Honestly, I doubt Amazon tried to do anything. Today the iPad sits lifeless on my shelf. Yesterday I clicked "cancel order" because I no longer wanted something I ordered. Amazon said it was too late. This has happened... I dunno, a dozen times in the past? I get the feeling that Amazon doesn't care about their customers. Why put the option there, if it's not really an option? It's like, did they even try to cancel the order???

Finally, another thing that happened... I had ACCIDENTALLY signed up for Amazon prime and got charged for $50 dollars last month. Which put me in the negative for my bank account. Sure I got the $50 dollar back like everyone else that happened to so far--it's an automated message and process if you call them. You know what I didn't get back? The banks overdraft fee. Thanks, Amazon. Which I probably will get again because I couldn't cancel my last order "in time." I am completely done with ordering from Amazon. They have the WORST customer service skills.

That said, 2016 has brought a huge increase of late deliveries and more products are posted as 3-5 day prime delivery and less two-day delivery. I contacted customer service and was told only Amazon fulfilled orders are Prime eligible. So I cited a current order that was sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

I ordered on Jan 8 and instead of getting a notice of any delays, I found out after wondering why I didn't get my order within two days. My order was not yet shipped and wasn't expected to ship until Jan 12 - all without a notice of any kind. Now the product is listed as 3-5 days delivery. Most of my 2016 orders have been delayed without warning. Approx. 6 total. In short, Prime two-day shipping is a fraudulent claim this year. I've been cancelling more orders as a result if they fail to ship and deliver as promised. VERY DISAPPOINTED given the additional $99 fee. I'm ordering elsewhere these days.

I had picked out 5 items for purchase from Amazon with a total of $97 and some change. I bought a prepaid card and loaded it with $120. I purchased the items and Amazon told me the sale was good and what days I would expect 2 different shipments. A week later I look at my account and find out that 3 items were denied for insufficient funds. I later learn that if an item costs 12 and another 24 that the vendor will, as they put it, "put their arms around" more money than the sale causing the other items to be denied for insufficient funds. I called the credit card company 2 weeks after this fiasco and find out that there was a charge for 12 and 24 and 27 dollars. Looking at my account however I find no charge for 27 dollars.

I call Amazon and after speaking to several people I find out that they can kind of see where my $27 dollars may be hanging around in their computer. Meanwhile I'm even more irritated that because of all this activity my card company wont authorize $1 that Amazon wants to "put their arms around" for the free 30 Amazon Prime account. So now Amazon Prime says after 3 days of my free trial that I'm being denied my Amazon Prime benefits and that I need to update my payment information. I have always loved Amazon but they should not be allowed to "put their arms around" more money than the bill and shipping thereby screwing up anyone's order. Now I've been on the phone for 2 hours trying to have my Amazon Prime benefits restored so I can "put my arms around it." I have been an independent seller since the 1990's with other online company's. The process they have for reviewing you as a seller is pathetic. Amazon is a company that wants full control of everything from the sellers who they ban for the smallest problem, with no reliable review system in place to fight once they put you on a bad sellers list. Furthermore if you buy a product when Amazon is the seller (Amazon actually sells stuff too) and competes with their sellers - you can't leave a bad review when the item is bought from Amazon as they set it up that way. They also ban buyers if they deems you a bad buyer as well. Furthermore I know someone that is a vendor to Amazon the company and they demand the lowest prices to the point where the vendors have trouble making money and some vendors walk away from them.

When you're a seller and you get banned from Amazon if banning you or your company wasn't enough from Amazon they go a step further and ban family members from the same address and people even in the same bldg as you live. When you try to follow up they answer you the first time or two then they just stop replying to any messages. If that wasn't enough then they hold your funds for 6-8 weeks or more to make sure that all the buyers are satisfied. All in all this experience of selling on Amazon was the worst. Then they bought the web address Amazon sucks so people can't leave reviews there. If you're a seller stay away, because when it collapses you're left with inventory and they don't care about you or your company.

Covered by 1-yr warranty". In Nov. 2015, we started having problems with the phone (could not call or text), we contacted AT&T, our network provider, and they tried to address the problem. However they said they could not fix it because it was not the problem with their service. We called Apple but they said that: "The phone is out of Warranty because it was purchased on June 27, 2014, not December 16, 2014, and the phone was not new, it was a replacement phone." I have to say I was extremely shocked to learn that the phone I bought on Amazon was not new as I was led to believe when I bought it, and it was not under warranty as it was stated in the receipt.

I contacted Amazon on December 15th 2015. Amazon customer service staff said that they would contact the company about the problem and if we don't hear from the Dealer in 48 hrs, we should contact them again (Amazon sent me a copy of their email to the Dealer). I did not hear anything from the dealer so we contacted Amazon again before Christmas. Amazon staff said that they will contact the Dealer again and if the Dealer won't respond, Amazon will reimburse my money.

After Christmas, we contacted Amazon again as we did not hear from the dealer. Amazon said they will investigate the case. On Jan 6, 2016, we contacted Amazon again and they said that we will hear from Amazon about the result in 24 hrs. This morning (Jan 7, 2016, we received an email from Amazon and it stated that "I'm sorry to hear there was a problem with order ** from Better Deals FASTER. Because the order was placed more than 90 days ago on March 16, 2015, you aren't eligible for reimbursement under the terms of our A-to-z Guarantee. I really apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." The answer from Amazon is unacceptable and incorrect. This is an indication that the investigation department never really investigated my case.

Yesterday (Jan 7, 2016), I talked to Ms. Belen **, a supervisor of the CS dept. and again I had to go through the process of explaining my problem. She advised me to file a complaint and I did. She also told me that Amazon investigation dept. will contact me in 24 hrs. I did not hear from them so I called them again on Jan 8, 2016. I have a Prime Membership so as long as I purchase from a Primer sellers, then no shipping. I have NOT had a single problem with delivery or delivery time -- for any item shipped in the USA. Overseas, yes, I had a problem -- never received what I purchased once, and another item took a week longer than expected. However, those are problems that is not in Amazon's control, so it is not their fault.

So, when shopping, I have learned to always buy from sellers in the US with a preference to "Fulfilled by Amazon" (meaning it comes from their warehouse rather than from the seller) and also Prime sellers. Only non-Prime if I don't have any other option. I see so many one-star ratings listed and there are many of them that sound like they just don't understand who is responsible for what and have nothing better to do than complain - even if they don't have anything legit to complain about. I love Amazon and will continue to use them on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis.

I emailed the co. and requested a shipping label & refund for the above reasons. I rec'd a reply which says in part: "Your RA # is being processed by Graham Field which takes anywhere from 2-3 business days, and they do have a 25% restocking fee."

I emailed them back regarding this fee and that I threw the box to the garbage where it belongs. This item is very heavy and I don't see how a senior or someone with severe arthritis, like me, could possibly lift it or put it in a car or push it. It appears that the numerous complaints against Amazon and its outside vendors are accurate. I wrote this review on Amazon's page and they emailed me back stating that they would not publish it because it's "offensive" and that I wasn't clear about the shipping and quality of the product.

I have used Amazon's product Kindle Touch book reader, model DO1200 IC 960DA-1013, very briefly for several years. After numerous problems, I went to Nook reader which has been working perfectly. Few months ago decided to put in use my useless Kindle but it did not let me register at all even though I used my active accounts which I used to register my 2 phones. It did not give me chance even to open new account. Always the same arrow message appears. After chat with Amazon's rep a month ago received the promise for fixing the issue. Nothing happened since then. The only positive thing about the work of Amazon's customer service was that they were polite.

Then I contacted Amazon for this reason and they refund the amount but one day later my account was closed and I never used my money. I contacted and they said, "We closed your account because you reported an unusual number of problems with your orders." But is not true. Am a customer since 2013 and this was the first time that I ask for a refund. Now I have 425 dollars on my gift card balance but I cannot used because my account was closed. What I can do because they said this, "Your unused gift card balance is no longer available. We may not reply to further emails about this refund request."

This month I placed 5 orders, none of which has been received. While I talked to customer service, my issue was never addressed properly. One of them was even rude, saying that "as an online company, we are the one who loses money, coz we did send out the item." But what's the point of doing business if you send out the items but the customer couldn't receive it and had to request a refund? Also, I hate to the guts that they promise 2-day delivery but always can't meet the promise. Even though they just extended my Prime I still decide to cancel my membership coz I don't want to deal with this hassle EVER, EVER AGAIN!!!

Amazon Review Department would not post my negative review of the delinquent delivery of a gift card. They said that as it was a delivery problem rather than product problem (isn't delivery of a gift card a product problem?), I should rate it on www.amazon.com/feedback or www.amazon.com/packaging, neither of which includes gift card orders for review or comment. There was nowhere to report one's negative experience--a shrewd form of censorship. When I asked for further guidance for reporting such a negative experience, they never responded.

In the past, I had no problems with the delivery of a number of Amazon gift cards, but this one took one week for a so-called overnight delivery card to be received. It was a gift received late. Not good. Although USPS verified that I had the correct address and zip code, they said that the card was forwarded to the wrong post office by the card company. It took two phone calls to Amazon, who in turn called the U.S.P.S, to rectify the problem. It cost me about 45 minutes of time for each phone call. I hope this isn't a trend. If so, it's not worth the time or effort.

I ordered a VR headset that was Prime free same-day shipping. I ordered another item to make the minimum ship total. I was asked to pay for same and one day so I chose 2 day free shipping. The 2 day shipping on the headset would take 4 days instead of 2. I spoke to a customer service rep and asked why I couldn't get the same or next day free shipping. She said I did not qualify by my shipping address. That was not the case. I figured out later that the 2nd product also needed to be same day. That was my misunderstanding but the representative could not simply tell me I did not qualify based on the second item. I also asked why 2 day shipping would take 4 days. She could not answer. I asked to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor stated that item will be late due to an error in inventory. The item is listed as in stock and fulfilled by Amazon. The item is actually not in stock. I asked what are my options. She said there is nothing she can do. At one point I got absolutely no response from the supervisor and had to ask repeatedly if she was still there. With no recourse and feeling cheated that I paid into a Prime membership that does absolutely nothing for shipping, I cancelled the order. I requested to cancel Prime membership and was told there is no refund on membership.

Loyal customer since 8-2007. This past month Amazon has refused to honor the rewards points that I earned on a credit card sponsored by them. They would not honor my banks debit card, even though it is an active and valid debit card. They would not send me the $10.15 that I earned selling books on their site, until I deleted my bank debit card from my account. And now I did not receive my most recent order placed with them because now I have to sign for deliveries from them. Never had to before. Not if Amazon was the seller and in this case they are.

It's a damn soap dish and some yoga pants. Now I have to leave work early to get to the post office to pick it up. What could be the reason for this abominable customer service? Oh wait... I'm not a PRIME member. Today on amazon.com you have to pay $99 Dollars for the privilege of getting good customer service! Amazon used to be the first place I shopped, now it'll be the last. Maybe never! There are lots of other sites to choose from, and they don't require an annual subscription to get good customer service. I really do think they don't care about me as a customer because I am not a prime member. Thanks for letting me vent.

I've been a loyal Amazon Prime member for years. I've personally recommended dozens upon dozens of people to purchase Prime and I'm sure I've raised thousands of dollars for Amazon. However, after dealing with so many issues with Amazon this last year, I can no longer recommend them. One issue I had was how a package was supposedly delivered to my front porch, but the Post Office had no record that it was delivered or that it was out for delivery. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund after getting into an argument with the customer service rep and finally speaking to a manager.

The biggest issue I've have is that I purchased Prime for the "free 2-day shipping". For years, there were no issues. However, in the last year, I've noticed a tremendous decline in orders shipping on time or being delivered on time. The crazy part is that Amazon built a gigantic shipping facility just 20 minutes south of me and yet, I can't seem to get orders delivered to me within the "estimated" 2-day shipping window. I have since canceled my Prime membership and will just start ordering from Walmart or going to an actual brick and mortar store. Amazon is no longer worth the price anymore.

I was in the area of the Lockers working when I received a message from amazon saying Package was Undeliverable. I called Amazon and spoke with a customer service rep. He said "no", he got notice that it was delivered, then about 4 minutes later he said, "oh I got another one", saying it was undeliverable. He said he would transfer me the locker dept. When I spoke to them, they only talked in circles with no answers as to why. I was upset, asked them what I was to do. They couldn't give me a reply. I hung up.

About 10 minutes later I received an email from them that they had canceled my order and issued me a refund. So then I had to sign up for Amazon prime $99, and reorder in time to get for Christmas. I reordered, but also order an Screen Protector for my new Note 5, which Amazon had on its site saying it was for the note 5. When I received it and put it on it did not fit. A few days later I called to make a formal complaint about the order with the lockers and about wrong info about the Screen Protector. I was told they was no in the US I could speak to about the lockers only people in Africa. I said I wanted to make formal complaint on both items.

2 days later, I received a email from Amazon saying my Account was in jeopardy of being cancel for having more than normal returns since 2008. I had not return anything recently. This was only sent after I had informed them I wanted to make a formal complaint. I called them asked them to speak to a account specialist and they refused. I asked 4 time to send me a list of the returns items they was referring to. They have refused. Long story short, they tried to blackmail me because I was making a formal complaint. So the 3rd party vendor answered and told me to send it back, assuming I would own my own dime. (I have spend several thousand dollars over the course of me being a prime member). And this was the first issue I had... so I told them to create me a return label. They did so I sent it out on the 10. Guaranteed for me to get a new shipment once the product gets to the vendor. The product made it to the vendor on the 23rd and yet I have not heard back from them. Every time I call Amazon they tell me they are sorry and sorry and sorry. But nobody sent me the product. And this thing about reimbursing me would make me happy was wrong. Because I ordered the item for a reason. I will never purchase from Amazon, because they are too incompetent to come up with a solution or send me my product.

If I wanted my money back I wouldn't have purchased it from there. It is disappointing that a company that size of Amazon can get away with such poor business ethics. And don't hold their 3rd party accountable for their action... I had never had problems before, but now it looks like Amazon lost a good customer (probably not good enough), over a 29 dollar PS4 stand, and over one of their vendors (Ortz).

Amazon did not suspect anything. The reseller was asking to contact him by email before placing the order. I did send him an email telling him I wanted to buy the product. He replied back telling me that Amazon will soon send me an email asking for my information so that they can place the order. Soon after, I received an email from "Amazon.de" asking me to make a money transfer to a specific Bank account with name: Amazon payments. I examined the email carefully since I am an it person (and Ethical Hacker) and I realized that the email wasn't coming from Amazon but from a fraud. I immediately forwarded the email to Amazon and they answer back telling me not to proceed with that order since they have just realized it was a fraud.

According to my opinion, Amazon should have realized that this was a fraud from the very first second, by just looking the price. It was offered by this crook, half the price. Impossible. What if I knew nothing about fraudulence and IT? What if somebody else was trying to make that purchase. He would definitely have got in to his trap. Amazon made a mistake in this case. Amazon was cheated by a crook. The crook was unveiled by me and not by Amazon.

Amazon shipped a 2 lb plastic bottle of lotion and a 1 lb thin-foil bag of powdered spice together, in one large box, without any protection... along with a few other items that were in their own cardboard boxes. The lotion bottle had a pointy spout on it. The lotion collided with the other contents during shipping (we assume) and cracked open, spilling out onto the other items, and the spout punctured the foil bag.

First, we wrote in to Amazon via email; we received a reply saying "Sometimes things get damaged during shipping... We will pass this info along to our shipping department. Thank you for shopping. We hope to see you back again soon." We wrote back in again. We received another reply saying "we can offer no additional insight into this matter."

We tried having Amazon call us. The phone rang within a few seconds. We were hopeful but then the person who answered got us into a constant loop of asking the same questions and then putting us on hold for 20 minutes. This went on for over an hour! We ended up hanging up after waiting on hold for another 30 minutes. We then tried chat... similar experience: the rep kept asking the same questions and not answering any of ours.

This is all because Amazon cannot competently package items. We do not have these problems with any of the other companies we buy similar products from.

We were so frustrated, we are seriously considering cancelling our account!!! We've been customers for over 10 years. Never have we had such a bad experience until recently. Definitely going down, down, downhill... and they just keep getting bigger and wealthier.

Amazon charged return shipping for an exchange for a garment that was not properly sized, they have a "new" policy and claim it's well advertised. And waited. And waited. I began sending emails to both Amazon and the company that filled the order in the 3d week of November+-, then every week -9 days till today, Dec. 28th--no book, no communication from either. Today, I gave one last try at emailing Amazon, and it came back "permanently unsendable". That was it: I have unsubscribed from their emails, which I am sure they will continue to send, as it seems they can "permanently send" to ME, but that amenity doesn't go in reverse. I needed that book, planning to use it to research composting toilets for my property. I'll find the book but worse to me was that they didn't acknowledge my emails.

An update to this is that, in checking my order number, I found a note in tiny letters near those numbers that "my claim had been resolved and money returned to account"; now I will need to go back and see if I actually got my 22.84 back on my credit card statement. But because I wasted so much of my life with this problem and still have no book, I give one star.

I am 59. I've been purchasing from Amazon for many many years with complete satisfaction. I order large quantities and spend thousands of dollars every year on Amazon. Now it seems like everytime I try to purchase the same item again, Amazon has reclassified it as a "Prime" members only product. This has been a regular occurrence. As a result, I've been forced to go to Walmart's website, where I was pleasantly surprised to learn they offer a majority of the same products for the same price or less as Amazon. Free shipping on orders over $50 dollars which is not a problem with me.

I never need my shipments in a rush, so I always used Amazon's free shipping. I've noticed that free shipping takes much longer now with Amazon than it ever has for many years. So it appears that since I didn't buy Prime when Amazon started their new "Increased days for delivery on free shipping orders" they decided to reclassify the products I order as "PRIME MEMBERS ONLY". So Amazon is trying to force me to purchase Amazon Prime for $100, by reclassifying the items I regularly order as Prime members Only items. As a result, I'm now buying the majority of my products from Walmart's website and many other websites at or below Amazon's price.

There are many others out there selling at or below Amazon's prices with free shipping. Save yourself a $1000 over the next 10 years by not buying Prime. I've owned and managed several companies. I always find it interesting when fools devise programs that punish and run off some of their best customers, by attempting to force them into a program with a fee. THINK PRIME!!!

There was no order because Amazon pop up said the item in my cart was a Prime members only item. So when I selected Buy Again, to purchase a few more cases of Sparkle Paper Towels, Amazon advised me that items in my cart would be moved to Saved for Later, because it was a Prime members only item. So I couldn't reorder this product, until I purchased Prime!

I've ordered items from Amazon Prime, clearly marked as Prime, with a two-day delivery option on the product page, only to be told that they would arrive in a somewhat longer period of time ... after the order was placed. Amazon apparently has turned a guarantee into a wish and a prayer, at least for the holiday season. And they aren't particularly apologetic about it. Count me as a dissatisfied customer.

They put me on hold for over half hr at several different times, just kept me waiting on the phone, then came back, I told me they can't refund me... It's Christmas, have no more money to repurchase a gift, so I have to disappoint a child on Christmas day. Thank you AMAZON WELL DONE!!! Even spoke to a supervisor who claims his name is Marvin, but no other information, so OK MARVIN!!! Who didn't want to hear me just wanted to say what he thought I should do... It's disgusting how this company steal hard working people money with no remorse. I guess that's how Amazon owners got his billions by robbing hard working people like me.

We have been Prime members for several years now and have never had a problem getting our 2-day packages on time, until December of this year. Any item I ordered up until December came as promised. Since December 1st, I have purchased 22 items for the holidays. Twelve of them have been delivered in 3-4 days if not more, even items we paid $3.99 more for next-day shipping. Over half of our items have been delivered by USPS, which everyone knows is the slowest shipping method.

I have had every next-day delivery charge reimbursed because the product was received in 3 days. As I'm typing this, I have a product that was ordered on 12/16, Prime GUARANTEED delivery of 12/18. The product hasn't even shipped yet and it was in stock and did not say 1-2 days extra processing. So how are they going to deliver my product today by 8:00 p.m. if it hasn't even shipped? This is a present for a Christmas dinner on 12/19. I also have an expensive item with a delivery date of Saturday, 12/19 that was taken to the post office just this morning (12/18).

There is no way it's going to come from New Jersey to Indiana in one day. I try to be kind to the customer service reps because they are just the individuals answering the phone. I have emailed Amazon directly regarding this concern and have not gotten a response. Once you've purchased the product, the company doesn't seem to care about upholding their promised delivery times.

Once I have these items in hand, I will not be renewing my Prime Membership (which is $99), will not order from Amazon again, and I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I do warn anyone who is thinking of becoming a Prime Member to carefully consider this before doing so. I am not the only one with complaints and Amazon doesn't offer any apology or take steps to correct it. The lack of customer service is really disappointing. We spend thousands of dollars yearly on their site, but I will now gladly give that business to local shops.

I had not received them on the 13th so I looked on the Amazon site and now it said the 14th they would be delivered. Again no cards. Looked on the site and now it said the 16th and it was December 17th.

Called their customer service and I could not understand the first one so I asked to talk to another. This one was a little better, explained the problem. He said he would do an order replacement and it would be delivered by the 21st of December? Wait, the cards on the original order said 1 day shipping? So I said I would like them to be shipped overnight, seeing I did not receive my original order on time and December 21 was getting too late. After being switched to different departments and waiting for 10 more minutes, they actually hung up on me... I am very disappointed in Amazon and their way to handle these types of situations - normally, their service is good...

Long time customer. I bought Prime membership last month. Placed an order for a camera my daughter begged for. $79.00 for camera, and $40.00 for film. Was told the camera would be delivered today, Dec 16, 2015. Instead, I receive an email stating my payment was denied for camera (mind you I already received the film for this). I already paid for the camera, and my bank account was debited for it on 12/10/15. So, I chatted with someone, who obviously was not from the U.S. She told me they made a mistake and would subtract the payment from my account again.

She told me I should receive the camera late next week. When I told her it was supposed to be delivered today, she told me I was wrong and I agreed to the delivery date of 12/23/15. This, while I was holding the confirmation email I received stating it would be delivered today, 12/16. So, single Mom here, on a tight budget, will not be able to give my daughter the one big gift she asked for on Christmas. Was also insulted by being told that was the delivery date I agreed on.

Also stuck with $40.00 worth of film, for camera they cannot deliver. I am so upset, I do not even know what to do, I honestly just want to cry! After being a loyal customer for years, to be treated this way is just inconceivable, and unforgivable. I will never, ever order from them again. I do not even know when they will issue me my full refund, for me to use to scramble and try to find the camera elsewhere. One week before Christmas, no gift, no full refund, no idea what to do. Just ruined my whole Christmas, now I am going to go, and honestly cry. This is just so unfair.

We have been with Amazon for about 3 yrs now. My wife is disabled and is basically bed ridden. She loves her books and computer and TV, but we are going to have to find our things some place else. She has had to call customer service several time over and more. If it is not one thing it is another. There are really never any real answers as to why packages are not sealed and insulated right and many things have come damaged. That is the only thing she ever calls for, but then they will give a concession and then blame her for taking money from them. She doesn't ask for anything but is offered it and then it is used against her, and in turn against me as it is my money too.

Back a year or so ago they sent several pieces of cast iron skillets and pans in one box. She got hurt trying to lift it from the driver of UPS, and when she opened it, all 5 of her books were just pitched into the box with the black skillets and a brush for cleaning the pans. The cover was off the brush and every book was tore to pieces in that box, nothing to protect paperback books. This past summer we had a third party send us 2 roaster pans for chicken, both were broken in the same spot on the same handle and we figure he was getting them from the garbage at Walmart as they each come in a Walmart box. After the first we wanted a refund and they sent another broken pan. We could have been cut on as it was sharp and both being the same. Walmart must have got a batch and pitched them and this guy got them and shipped them to us.

Now books coming late and no way to track them on one set lately, and then I get told after 2 days of my wife calling and not getting through, and then calling the phone co. that we are not allowed to call there anymore. Do you think that we will stick with a company who won't provide customer service when a person has 52 orders in the last 6 mos? I have already started to look around to see who I can find to order from. They said this phone thing is for life and that my wife made too many calls there. Well, the only time we did is when they ship crap out and don't check it or it is damaged in shipping and also I admit I have had to call them too much and I believe that this is a blessing in the long run. They are not customer oriented at all, not at all.

She is disabled and they have been told that and still they are going to take phones away so that she has to try and use her body to sit up and type a long note to them and never know when she will get an answer. This company is going to bust one way or the other. They do not take care of their customers and I have heard so many bad things about them that it makes me want to run the other way. For God's sake, just help the customers and they won't be on the phones all the time. The lady who turned me in was so obvious about it and I have her name. She was distraught as I ask for her manager and he fixed the last order and it come right as he said it would, but she is the one who got the phones off. I had hardly hung up with him and she had a letter in my email for me, and she was not too pleasant and telling me that she was sorry she could give the concessions I wanted.

I never ask for any CONCESSIONS. I ask when the order would be in. I have prime and it had been sitting there for a week. The manager like I said, he knew what to do and we did it and they came here today, and I even kept half of the first order after HE told me that I needed to reorder as the book was tied up because of nonsmoking patches and they were not in stock. She didn't care, she was just ticked because I ask for him and he fixed it. Don't go there and especially for anything expensive or important. You will have problems and then the phones taken away and they lied to me and would not tell me to start and then I called back for her and they said what was going on. What sneaks. I am contacting an attorney and the Attorney General in our area. I have had it. This will also be turned over to the Better Business. I have had it with her being upset over all this stuff. Her health won't take it much longer.

This is regards to my latest order with Amazon. I have a complaint about how you are trying to trap the buyers. I had placed this order and on checkout I was shown this message- "YOUR COST WOULD BE 52$ INSTEAD OF 82$. If you apply for Amazon Rewards Visa Card Now and you'll get an Instant 30$ off." Now if you understand it in english that means your current order will be 30$ off when you apply for the card. And I fell into the trap, I did apply, it opened up a pop-up, it discounted me 30$ dollar but when I came back to my main screen, my order was still pending or 82$ not 52$. I placed it to try and see if I get an "INSTANT" 30$ off. Which from what I understood by now that you'll get only when you buy your second order, you can use that 30$ card later not an "INSTANT" off as they mislead you.

My concern is why is misleading language used on checkouts. Why is that "INSTANT" off. And I really don't want this card now. You can keep it. I contacted Chase but they say they don't cancel once applied. They even had a hard inquiry on my credit score which affects my score badly. I am really really not satisfied with this way. Please stop misleading and let me know how do I cancel my Visa card application without my Credit score being affected. And when I call Amazon care they say Chase will give 30$ off. Chase say they don't do it, "Amazon pays you gift card." What a fraud. They won't cancel your card, won't give you off. What a poor way of earning money and business. I'd rather stick to other online stores. Thanks Amazon for forcing this card on me for nothing.

This letter is written to lodge a complaint about the Amazon Store Card account. I was charged interest of $213.06 on my last statement. I contacted the Live Agent and was informed that it was because my special promotion financing had expired. Several things stand out as wrong about this transaction. First, this took me over my limit. Second, it was never made clear that interest would be charged in a lump sum for all the months that I had been paying on the account. How am I supposed to pay just on that special promotion financing separately from the rest of what I owed? I never encountered the word deferred until this huge amount of interest was charged out of the blue.

This fact should be made much clearer. In fact, I don't even really recall that I requested the special promotional financing. I'm sure I did by complete accident but it was not ever something that was in the forefront of my transaction. Over the years, I feel that I have made many, many purchases with Amazon. I will not ever use my Amazon Store Card account again if I can be so easily tricked into believing that the company actually cared about the customer, instead of the money. According to my account, it looks like this will happen again, several more times before I have paid off this corrupt account. Twice I have been told that if I would just a huge payment of $606 then they could take care of the upcoming interest charge.

If I had that cash sitting around, I would not have to depend on the Amazon Store Card. Again, I will repeat that this should have been made clearer because I certainly would have paid closer attention to how I was paying. When I click pay with Amazon Store Card, I just assumed that it would be a regular transaction. I have mistakenly charged orders to my Amazon Store Card because it was defaulted and on a tablet or phone, it is not clear that the transaction is about to be completed until it is too late. I wonder if this is what happened and that's how I got this special promotional financing extra special mess over the customer deal, because I truly do not remember requesting any special promotional financing. It is a sad time that credit accounts take advantage of the working poor.

I have been a member of Amazon Prime since the very beginning. I of course have been thrilled with all of the awesome additions to Amazon Prime such as Prime music and video but as far as Prime shipping? NOT SO MUCH!!! When Prime first started, it was all about the free TWO day shipping and nothing else. There were no other benefits at all. Now that they've added all this extra stuff, the shipping has taken a back seat. I know that I'm lucky in the sense that I signed up when the cost per year was at a fantastic price and now would be paying a ridiculous yearly fee (which by the way they could have tried raising the price in MUCH smaller increments... But no, they took the offensive route).

Now that they have all these additions to Prime, they seem to think it's perfectly fine to relax on their shipping. So more often than not when you go to purchase a Prime item, you'll see right next to the word "Prime" "BUT MAY TAKE 1-2 DAYS FOR PROCESSING. Um, I'm sorry, so what's the whole point of buying Prime items now? Not only do you see the note about the extra processing time now, but in general Prime items are more expensive than if purchased from a regular person or company (a Prime item is anything that's "fulfilled by Amazon"). That's ON TOP of the YEARLY FEE I ALREADY PAY!!! So now I'm stuck waiting on one of those "Prime" items (which happens to be my daily caffeine drink that I'm now going without) and what recourse do I have???

Day 5 of waiting has now come and gone and I've got nothing to show for it. Someone might say something about the weekend but Prime items are delivered 7 days a week! How is it ok to change the shipping terms on us? Now I'm lucky if I can get a Prime item within a WEEK!!! I mean, it's the entire reason Prime was started in the first place!!! HOW IS THAT FAIR???

Here is a copy of the report being filed with the MD State Attorney General. "On Friday, November 27th, 2015, I attempted to purchase a Motorola Nexus 6 Unlocked Cellphone, 64GB, in Midnight Blue for the advertised Black Friday sale price of $199.95 on Amazon.com. When I attempted to add this item to my online shopping cart, the advertised price increased from $199.95 to $459.95.

Confused in regards to this pricing discrepancy, I contacted Amazon customer service via telephone. I was informed that, if I added the item to my cart for the price of $459.95 and completed the check out process (i.e., ordered the item by charging my credit card), a customer service representative would adjust the final sale price and honor the advertised Black Friday special pricing of $199.95. After being provided improper package tracking information and noticing that the price had not yet been adjusted under my online Amazon account, I contacted Amazon for a second time on 12/1/2015. Customer service representatives again assured me that my credit card would only be charged $199.95 for this item.

On 12/3, I received the phone from Amazon and activated it. However, on December 6th, 2015, I noticed that Amazon had incorrectly charged my credit card for $459.95 plus tax ($463.94) and did not honor the Black Friday sale price as promised. After spending approximately one hour and twenty minutes on the phone with Amazons customer service to resolve this issue, I was offered only one of two potential resolutions: 1) Amazon could credit my account $150 (not the full $260 owed) or; 2) I could return the item, at my own cost, and may not receive a full refund due to the fact that the cell phone had been activated. I refused these offers, as I did not feel that it was fair for me to financially suffer for Amazons own customer service blunders and obvious lack of internal communication.

On December 7th, 2015, I again contacted Amazon.com, this time via email, and was able to acquire a return-shipping label, but no promises were made regarding my refund. I am currently in the process of filing a chargeback/dispute with my credit card company in order to ensure that I receive a full refund as I authorized a charge of $199.95+ tax, not $463.94. I am in the process of returning the cell phone using the mailing label provided by Amazon (UPS tracking ID: **). After chatting with several other Amazon customers via social media, I found that I was not the only person to have this issue with Amazon not honoring Black Friday sales pricing. I am considering consulting with an attorney over Amazon.com's unethical (and potentially illegal) business practices in the state of Maryland."

There is no reason for them to not complete their contractual obligations successfully. I would welcome a place on the Amazon site where I could leave a carrier comment. There isn't one. Not one at all. I can comment or leave feedback as a seller, for a seller, regarding a product, regarding adequate packaging but there is no place to make any sort of suggestion or engage in dialogue with Amazon.com regarding carrier issues or any other issue one might have with the company itself. Is this a marked oversight or deliberate unwillingness to hear customer opinion/consider change? What I do know is that it is beyond frustrating.

I informed them I needed it by the 9th of December for our Christmas with family. I also informed them we were leaving the state on the 22nd for the holidays. My son was to get this for the trip so he could play games. I then asked for a comparable product or an upgrade so we could have this in time for Christmas. They said they could not. I told them I was in customer service too and they needed to take care of the situation.

I got transferred to a supervisor and was informed that they actually never shipped the product. One of their people created the shipping label but never sent it out. Their fault. He still wouldn't take care of it by getting me an upgrade. He said they would lose money. I said they were going to lose a lot of money by me not buying anymore and letting all my friends know they shouldn't buy either. He didn't get that at all. They are terrible customer service and terrible business people. They don't understand basic economics. They don't want to "lose money", even if it's their fault, by eating $75-100 to take care of their mistake. They would rather lose hundreds and thousands of dollars now that I and my friends will not be buying from them anymore. Like I said, they don't understand economics.

So called supervisors are doing fake promises. Is that legal? Is that ethical? Those are rhetorical questions as guaranteed denotes a promise. In this case, a promise of return service.

I contacted the customer service dept. Guy named as AMIR on 30th Nov who advised me to wait for 48 hrs pick up will done. Unfortunately no one has turned back. Then again I got call from AMIR on 3rd of Dec stating that he will initiate the refund right away and will receive the confirmation in 24 hrs. But I didn't get any confirmation email so again I called amazon. Some RAM has picked up the call and said stupid to amazon. He said "I'm disconnecting the call because you are using rough slang." Grow up people. I was told, THEY CANT DO ANYTHING. Interestingly, the I need courier the product. "Why didn't you said the same at the time of delivery?" And with great enthusiasm he comments, "we cant do anything" and hang up the call. Why am I not surprised?

Why does our government allow big business the legal right to cheat their consumers? Why is McDonald's liable for meeting my demands at the time of payment for service when Amazon is not held to the same standards? I don't pay for a burger today and get it tomorrow. I have been having issues with Amazon for the last year or so. Recently, I was not refunded for a Kindle book, although they took the book back. They are withholding my promotional balance I was promised. And they are not fulfilling my 2 day prime membership delivery. I have been a prime member since 2001. 95% of the time I have no issues. But that 5% makes me give a 1 star review.

Now, I am aware that it is holiday season. I am aware that there maybe snow by some of their warehouses where they ship from. But, does this make them not keeping their end of the delivery fulfillment okay? No. Do you credit me a refund for the month I do not get 2 day delivery? Nope. I call customer service, chat, email. Always the same "this is not what we would want you to expect, we take customer complaints seriously, we value customer service, blah blah blah." I know that the people I talk to have no real authority on what is going on. So, maybe the CEO sitting on his big bank account will read some of these reviews, and remember that it is MY MONEY that help make him his money, when he started out of his garage years ago.

I had ordered an item (Order# **) on 24th of November 2015 from Amazon India App. The delivery was expected, as per Amazon tracker, on 2nd of December 2015. When I didn't receive it on 2nd December, I called up the customer service and no one actually knew the root cause of the issue but just kept promising that the delivery would be done in 1 or 2 days.

In parallel, I had written an email expressing my concern for which I got a response mentioning that "the order is probably misplaced and a refund can be provided in some days. Do I wish a refund or still want the order delivered?" I asked for the order to be delivered whatsoever, as it was a gift for my Mom & Dad's Anniversary (which you guys have messed up). Till date I have no appropriate response after me calling the customer service 3 times. I stay in Muscat, Oman and every time I have to make an international call to know the status.

There are so many better competing services in India who will give much better customer services than this. Does even the AMAZON CEO, India know where is my order and when would it be delivered? I doubt. Furthermore, how are you going to compensate the time, efforts and money I have been spending on tracking your order as your customer services are not good enough. This probably is my last buy from Amazon India.

I decided to return the item and of course, Amazon charged me $6 for the return and refused to give me my $5 credit back to use on a different purchase. There is no customer service at Amazon! After four phone calls and 45 minutes, I received the refunds I was due. Thank goodness there are now other companies that appreciate their customers. I plan to make use of them.

Orders placed with Amazon using prime shipping are not received in two days as promised. Deceptive advertising by Amazon indicates that your item is available and will ship within two days. Once you pay for the item and receive an email confirming your purchase, you will then find out that the item is actually not in stock and therefore, cannot be received in two days. I have also had issues with the item being in stock, but the vendor could not get the item to me within two days even though it was eligible for prime shipping.

I had a complete blind faith on Amazon when it came to any products. I have lost my faith not because of Amazon but because of the partners they choose. I was so frustrated after I bought this laptop and another product because USPS claimed it to be delivered and it never was. Every time I called them they would lie to me that it was delivered when it wasn't and my order cart displayed delivered. It is not a small amount to not get worried about. And even though Amazon takes full responsibility of things nobody like to be lied to. USPS lied to me on every call. They said they mentioned they delivered the parcel to the leasing office. And much later just left it in front of my door.

Although Amazon was a good support, the frustration and tension that kept building because two missing packages, one involving such high cost, was really not pleasing. I actually scrapped my plan of buying some more gadgets from here and am consider buying it from elsewhere, thanks to this experience. Hope you chose your partners well or you might end up losing your fans.

I will never buy a thing from Amazon ever again. Out of the set of Debbie Meyer's 32 Piece UltraLite GreenBoxes - Green that I purchased, a tab on one lid broke the first time I was using opening it (I'd put peas in it the day before), broke. Amazon's supervisor's solution was for me to send the entire set back, even though more than 1/2 was in either the freezer or refrigerator. I was being asked to empty contents, clean, pack and pay for shipping to return, so the whole set could be returned, merely because of one broken lid. Are they insane? That is their actual policy. And this is after being forgotten about on hold for over 1/2 hour and hanging up and calling back and asking to speak to another supervisor, again.

I don't expect this review to be published because Amazon is a fascist oligarchy and losing my business means nothing to them. I like this set, was/am very happy with it. The lid on one was defective and they refuse to replace the discrete item. The whole set has to be returned to be replaced. I have spent so much money on Amazon, and if they want to lose my business over a broken tab that is their call. To review the product, otherwise, I have loved the containers; I view this as a defective lid. This whole matter could have been handled so much differently. I am appalled at the treatment I received this evening trying to take care of such a seemingly simple matter. Wow. Wow. We are in dangerous waters. This really should have had a very easy resolution. Amazon is acting like a "take it or leave it" oligarchy.

I am buying stuff from Amazon.com from last 4 years. I like to explain my complaints in points which are as given below:

    1. In 2013 I purchased a TV from Amazon. And after waiting couple of days, I came to know that order was lost from Amazon's Inventory. Then Amazon sent me another TV. I received that TV and when delivery guy switched on that TV he saw there was defect on the screen and I took the picture of that screen and sent it to Amazon. Then again I received the TV and there was only one delivery guy came to deliver the TV and he just thrown out the TV inside my house. It's 70 inch TV not a joke and when he opened the TV I saw many scratches. But that's fine I accepted the TV. And after few days TV stopped working and my 3400$ are wasted. Then after few days I received an email from Amazon that my account is having too many returns. I was surprised. I buy the items and sometimes I return them because they are not performing as expected.

    2. I have purchased more than 1000$ value movies and also their unlimited storage. But after they have closed my account I am not able to access my unlimited storage. I have done many complaint about that and they always says that they are working on it. And on their unlimited storage I have my very very critical data. And I am losing $1000 per day because of their irresponsible behavior. Also I will attach the email I received from them.

    3. They closed my family member’s account without any reasons. And the good thing is she purchased only one item from them after one year. And Amazon says that her account is related to me. What a harassment Amazon is doing these days. I was shocked when I came to know that. Also I came to know that she sent them her passport full copy just for identity confirmation but they are not listening to her. WHY AMAZON WHY??? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU???

    4. They closed my father’s account too who never purchased any item from Amazon and as I know he has his separate needs. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON. But that’s fine I will be most happy if some other company will come in your competition. Most of my family members use my computer because I have only one computer in my house. Reay I am very sad with this kind of behavior.

I have been a loyal Amazon customer for about 3-4 years now. When Amazon Prime came around, I signed up and often would get a student discount because I am a student. However, my relationship with them is turning sour and they are literally skating on thin ice. This morning I found out that I was charged for Prime Membership again when I submitted them my student enrollment proof. I did this about two to three months ago and did not receive the proper transaction. (I was supposed to receive a partial refund from the normal $99 fee.) Now they charged me again for another year without my approval. Either they are completely incompetent or sit in front of the computer daydreaming about money.

The second blow came last night. My sister ordered a couple of items that qualified for same day delivery. I waited until past 9:30 for the package and it never came. I checked online and it said it was delivered and signed by "FD." This is completely irresponsible and the delivery company happens to be Ontrac. I have had issues with Ontrac in the past as they would stall out deliveries. Overall, Amazon is skating on thin ice and I am serious about not shopping with them anymore as they are completely negligent and their customer service is one of the worst there is. I have worked customer service and know how to deal with the issue when I am given one. They need to reevaluate their customer service if they want to know how to keep customers. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB about this and this has gone far enough.

The text books I rented were fine even though the kindle program on my computer is a little clunky. The problem is, the text books were only rented for 90 days. Maybe I missed that when I first rented the text book. I also rented a physical text book and its due date is not until after the semester is over.

EVERYONE knows a college semester is 16 weeks long. I guess I assumed Amazon knew that as well. So, to add to the stress of finals, my textbook ran out two weeks prior to finals. So I would have had to rent the text book again. Luckily I found ecampus.com. My 90 day rental through Amazon was approximately $38.00, The same etextbook rental was 180 days through ecampus is $45.00. Twice as long for $7.00 more. I order on Amazon, books, toys for grandchildren, printer ink, phone batteries, nothing else, obvious from my order history. One day an order of Visine shows up in my mail. My wife and I both wear contact lenses, you cannot use Visine, it is not recommended. If I wanted Visine I would go to local store and order generic, not $6.23 bottle online. The company had my order, obviously, though I did not place it, at least knowingly. Amazon has a one-click order option I had activated by ordering free ebooks on my phone. It, unknown to me, activated that option on all my devices, as in the PC at home where I order all my online money purchases. I have alerted Amazon to this problem.

Maybe that is how this order occurred through my PC, or when these things pop up when you order something saying other people have ordered this when they ordered what you ordered and six things pop up for you to add to you order, I don't know exactly how, because I did not knowingly order Visine, but it happened. But it was also obvious it was a mistaken order. A decent company would see that and send you a prepaid postage label but not Pharmapacks, they send you a return label, but you have to put the postage on it. I went through the extensive process of trying to get the problem resolved to my satisfaction, i.e. a prepaid postage return label. Parmapacks sent back same computer generated response over and over and finally said file a A-Z complaint with Amazon, almost as if saying "screw you we are not going to make this right."

If I had ordered from this company ever or had ordered even one item like Visine, I could not make this complaint, at least not in good faith, but it is obvious this is a mistake, mostly not of my doing. But Pharmapacks is not interested in future customer relations with me. They have nothing to worry about there. I want simply to warn everyone of these two situations that could cost you time and money. The Amazon one-click order option and Pharmapacks return policy of "You don't like it, you want to return it, no problem, buy the stamps and lick them and stick them on the package and go to the post office and return it, that's all on you customer!" I am sure they have some satisfied customers but if this happened to me it has happened to others. Just think twice about ordering from Pharmapacks if you like to be able to return things free.

I just opened my Amazon.com account after seeing how happy my husband was with his. I had my account for less than a year when I placed my first order a month ago. I ordered 3 cell phone cases for my household. Since my husband didn't want his, I returned it. However, I kept the other two. I was also approved for an Amazon store card with my first order. Two weeks after placing that order and return of the One cell phone case, I ordered a set of van mats and paid for express shipping so the mats would arrive within 2 days. The mats did not arrive within the 2 days and I contacted Amazon to inquire as to why, they contacted the shipping company and the seller sent the package late. Amazon told me they would and they did refund my express shipping charge. 3 days later my package arrived.

After this I decided I was going to upgrade to Amazon prime. The next day before I upgraded, I got an email from Amazon telling me that my account has been closed due to returning too many items and that my other accounts have been linked and are closed as well, meaning my husbands account was closed also. I later found out from him that day that his account was closed a few days before me and they said he had made too many returns and this violated their return policy.

When I contacted customer service they took an over the phone report and stated CIS@Amazon.com would respond to the issue. Well they did and their response was "After careful it has been determined that your account will remain close due to you violating the terms of Amazon's Return Policy and all accounts associated have been linked and closed and you will no longer be allowed to purchase products from Amazon.com." Here is Amazon's return policy and nowhere are you given a specific number in which you are violating a return policy: Amazon.com Return Policy - Items shipped from Amazon.com, including Warehouse Deals, can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment in most cases. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them.

So I wrote back and forth with them letting them know that they had the wrong person, all to no avail. My account remains closed and once I pay off my balance of a very generous credit limit, I will close the credit account, because the credit issuer says I can only use it for Amazon.com. I believe that Amazon fraudulently closes accounts because they know there are no consequences for their actions. Especially since it is free to sign up unless you pay for Prime. Even when I called their corporate headquarters here Seattle, they wouldn't transfer me to any department heads. They referred me back to CIS@Amazon.com. Why is this being allowed and why haven't they been exposed?

True Amazon is not the only retailer out there, however they are the only ones out there locking people fraudulently out of their accounts without doing their due diligence and PROVING that they are in the right for closing these accounts. Plus, since when is it a crime to return a retail item to a retailer within their own 30-Day Return Policy.

Amazon recently lost my parcel, despite claiming they had delivered it. When I notified them, they sent replacements for my items but left three out. I emailed them again, and they sent one of them. As for the other two, I ought to order them again - except one is an add-on item, so it automatically drops out of my basket unless I spend 20. Is this a calculated strategy to milk me some more? When I pointed it out, they showed no interest whatsoever. I have been a customer for decades and was shocked at the treatment.

They sent one link to my personal email address and asked me to follow the link for the payment which I did and I got payment confirmation message. Later I called customer care and explained previous experience where I got incorrect pair of shoes instead of the one I ordered. Then the customer care confirmed that I will receive the item and colour which I order. Next day when I checked my orders there are 2 entries and I called customer care and they confirmed that they have received only 1 item and payment only once. Next day I received the item but with different colour. I called customer care and gave left and right. They are very irresponsible people. Argued for almost 1hr.

Next day again I received same pair of shoes. Again called customer care I was about to receive one more order along with shoes, so asked her to make sure I get order only once and asked her to cancel the second order. She pretended as if she did everything. Again today I received the order 2nd time in spite of informing. Once again I called customer care, she then initiated the refund. There is no forum to raise complaint for their repeated mistakes. No idea whom to contact and where to register complaint. No one is there to take action against them. I don't know raising complaint here will be actioned or not.

Both items were received by Amazon over 12 days ago and order indicates refund will be processed. Continue to look at credit card statement and no refund. Called Amazon today and it is in queue ($470 item) for refund and once it is processed by billing will take 2-3 business days to be applied. I suspect that there is some cash flow game going on here where Amazon is conveniently slow to refund even after twice they have delivered damaged merchandise. No real customer service here and no looking to go the extra mile to keep a customer. I am a good customer.

I was dumbfounded so naturally I asked for my prime membership $75 to be refunded along with the 3 products pending return that I sent out the day before. They have told me multiple different stories and scripts that they were never wrong and once I provided the information that proved their wrong doing they sent me this...

"As informed earlier, we have closed this account because you have consistently returned a large number of your orders. I am mortified, they have stolen my money and made accusations. When reviewing their policy it deems them in the wrong with nothing about "too many returns". They actually write about how great their return policy is. I don't know what to do other than try to dispute the charges? Help. Amazon made its name by fast order processing and free shipping option. Later Amazon introduced additional services, such as "Prime" and "Same Day Delivery", where for additional cost its customers get a chance to receive the order on the same day or within 2 business days. So now Amazon processes those "Prime" orders within a day or two leaving non-prime orders to wait. As a result, the processing times for free shipping orders grew to 4-7 business days. For years American retailers reserved extra long times for shipping blaming USPS and other carriers for poor performance. But with Amazon now it's the opposite: your free shipping order stays unprocessed for 4-5 days and then it gets delivered in a day or two, depending on how far your destination is from the closest distribution center.

I placed 2 orders through Amazon on the same day. One order was from the Amazon itself, another was from a third party seller. I chose free shipping option for both orders. Order from a third party seller was shipped the same day and successfully made it to my house 3 days later. Order placed with Amazon remained unprocessed for 4 business days. I even called Amazon for status update, but that didn't make much of a difference. San Antonio Fulfillment Center, where my order was supposed to be shipped from, did not have any plans for speeding up the process. And Amazon representatives kept bragging about the great "Prime" membership, which entitles me for free 2 days delivery. They couldn't explain how that 2 days delivery time would affect long processing time that I experience, but they continued their sales pitch. It is difficult to earn customer's trust, but easy to lose it.

I've had a great experience with Amazon here in Germany so far. It's now been about a year since I created an account, and 99% of the time everything goes without a problem, when things do come up (such as a defective product), they have always quickly and fairly resolved them. On more than a few occasions there have been delivery problems (some that went as badly as possible), but these can only be blamed on DHL, I'll save that for another review I need to write.

The products are packaged well, and despite some very occasional random downtime, the site works wonderfully. I always get exactly what I ordered and often for less money than anywhere else. Being an American in Germany, it also allows me to find products I want which I can't find in any brick and mortar store. When it comes to third party vendors, I think Amazon.de has done a good job of expectations, and by allowing open seller reviews, we can feel comfortable knowing who we are dealing with. So, all in all I can only review them positively, and hope it continues to stay this way.

With retail stores closing all across the country, buying on-line becomes ever less an option and ever more a necessity. So-called "sponsored sellers" have emerged as a sub-trend within this trend. Whereas primary sellers like Amazon and Home Depot maintain inventories and ship from, or offer local pickup at their own facilities, they are merely ad agencies for sponsored sellers, who often are not even disclosed. Thus, primary sellers become mere fronts for unscrupulous third parties who can't even be reviewed. Problems with hidden sponsored sellers include every complaint from selling cheap rip-offs of brand names, to changing delivery dates to months longer than advertised, to sending empty or partially filled packages and reporting products as having been shipped. The only protection against these and many more abuses by sponsored sellers is to buy only those products which the primary sellers plainly states are sold and shipped by itself.

I have been an Amazon customer since 2008 without any major issue. However after dealing with a third party seller, I have decided to stop doing business with Amazon. The decision to stop dealing with Amazon even though the problem is with a third party seller is because the standard for those companies should be the same as it is for Amazon which it's not.

Let me state that this issue deals with cancelling an order which I have done one time prior with no problem with an order that Amazon was selling not a third party seller and that is the issue. My problem started when I ordered a closet system from Amazon on a Sunday morning and then cancelled the order around 2pm that same day. I followed all directions for cancelling the order with the seller and followed up on Monday morning by making a second request to cancel the order. It was during this process I noticed that Amazon basically states that if you buy from a third party "good luck".

On Monday evening I received an email from the seller that my item was shipped. According to the tracking info fedex was not notified to pick up my order from the seller until about 6pm Sunday evening and fedex did not pick up my order until Monday morning. I contacted Amazon customer service by email and phone and was assured that they hold their third party sellers accountable and notified the seller of my issue. After all of this I received an email from the seller that they did not receive my cancellation until after the order was shipped which is not true.

Amazon customer service advised me to request a return label. The problem is that the closet system weighs over 100lbs and there seems to be a question about who will pay the return shipping charges and how will the package be picked up. The seller has not responded to info regarding a paid shipping label. While Amazon customer service said they would file an A to Z request they keep finding excuses to do such. In short no customer should have to adopt a buyer. Beware when buying from Amazon. Trying to figure out if the item is safe to purchase or not. No more Amazon.

I do not write positive or negative reviews without evidence & reflection. I am NOT a 1st world problem crybaby with a keyboard. I have purchased over 24 items from Amazon. YSK sells and supplies other sellers (or puppet accounts) on Amazon. I had spotted them selling several counterfeit & fake radio transceivers so I trusted Amazon A-Z guarantee and bought a few. This item was listed KENWOOD UV-N98 Professional FM Transceiver. Kenwood never made such an unit.

I reported several counterfeit items to Amazon, they did nothing.

I had contacted the seller several times asking for authentication, so they had fair warning. Placed the order and seller sent order into limbo (shipped but not shipped). Amazon stepped in and credited my AMEX and froze the selling of THAT counterfeit item. Amazon should investigate further and banish this seller & supplier from Amazon. Including their puppet accounts. They also sell counterfeits under other distributor accounts Terminal Click, L&F Home, Yasheng, coolamaze. Here is my public wishlist called Counterfeits: **.

Updated on 11/03/2015: After being frustrated with Amazon not removing counterfeit transceivers I decided I'd buy one and press the issue with the A-Z guarantee. I gave the seller opportunities to show if item was authentic, they failed. In fact they shipped a different counterfeit. Kenwood never made an UV-n98 transceiver, but you can find hundreds of these counterfeit fakes on FocalPrice, GearBest, Everbuying, eBay. On Amazon many counterfeit transceivers are coming from a supplier called YSK that has satellite sellers or sock accounts shifting product around. I received the Indonesian counterfeit Tk3307 radio. It has mismatched serial number and a fake UPC EAN bar code. It failed many tests, drop, battery, waterproofness. Content it was counterfeit. I gave it a quick bath to put it out of its misery. It drowned. I filed a claim with Amazon and gave them links to Kenwood documentation warning of counterfeit. I received a full refund to my AMEX.

The seller then blamed the supplier. Amazon did freeze the selling of this counterfeit but not the others. The seller and supplier were hawking. Amazon did block my factual review of the seller and product. My product is live today but for how long I don't know. Amazon should allow factual reviews of sellers. The seller has been in computer business for about 20 years and should know to check authenticity. I did try to buy more other counterfeits from the seller but they cancelled my orders and shifted the counterfeits to their other shell / sock accounts. I purchased from there and they cancelled again. I plan to rid Amazon of YSK and their associates. I do not write positive or negative reviews without evidence & reflection. This raises a few issues about Amazon. in: (1) If I had kept the refrigerator, they would be running behind me and would have accepted any of my proposal as Refrigerator was almost 3 times the cost. (2) Because I returned with honesty the refrigerator they are now citing system problem in fulfilling my order. Is this the customer service that they are famous for? (3) Since the payment was done by Credit card on EMI now I have to bear the interest without buying the product so instead of Amazon appreciating my good gesture they are punishing me. What a useless company-I must have bought more than 200 items from Amazon, but now I have removed their App from my mobile and PC. Poor customer service from Amazon asking me to wait till 5pm and later mentioning that it would be delivered by 23rd but even after continuous follow-up nothing was done. Product got delivered on 24th Oct in poor condition. Amazon has no regret for delaying the delivery. Common answer is:

    1. We have taken this on high priority.
    2. We have contacted courier partner.

    3. Courier was unable to find address. (Then how they managed to deliver it today without call)

Customer service trying to settle the issue by offering to compensate the difference in price if any. Something strange mentioned by courier was this Courier was put on hold by Amazon and indicating the sticker. I am amazed with wonderful customer services of Amazon. At the end what I receive is used product or unfresh product with scratches inside the container. How much should a customer suffer because of poor service? Please help. Image attached. I ordered an HP printer from Amazon. It was shipped USPS. Printer shipped in box 2X size of printer. Only padding was a few loose pieces of newspaper. Printer shipped with ink cartridges already installed so when arrived inside of box as well as inside of printer full of wet ink. Box arrived smashed with printer actually sticking out of the box. I contacted Amazon many times. Ended up cleaning out ink and repaired cracked paper drawer and receiving drawer with epoxy. I figured I was RIPPED off and stuck with damaged printer. Then I contacted Amazon one last time and they refused to do anything because they said I "altered the item"!!! After almost a month of contacting them with no resolution and now this??? I closed my AMAZON account. NEVER again will I buy from AMAZON!!!

Ordered a desk through Amazon. After partially assembling the desk realized it was broken. Call to Amazon. They sent a replacement. Again the desk was damaged although couldn't find that out until the desk was out of the box. Called Amazon. A third one is on the way. I don't want another one. This product is JUNK. I am now charged for 3 desks and have to fit the first two back in the box, after disassembling and take to UPS, all three boxes in order to get a refund!!! No compensation! A waste of hours of time for their junk. They could care less what you have to go through. They have your money and if you want it back you have to do what they say. Never again Amazon. Done with your junk!

I never received the item. It was advertised as used for $1,307.00 with some cosmetic damage. I received a different more expensive product, TVS-871, which was prompted returned. Repeated calls to inquire when and if I was going to receive the QNAP TVS 1271u-rp fell on deaf ears. Never heard so many excuses. Was even told to go on eBay to purchase this item. Customer service contacted Warehouse Deals to find out if the item was in their warehouse. Never heard back from anyone. I don't believe this item priced as used for $1,307.00 ever existed. Called customer service to file an A-Z claim and was told I could not even though Amazon's website's rules indicate I could file a claim. Disgusted with the entire situation. Good-Bye Amazon.

4 day night/daymare. Too much happened but I'll just say, Amazon USED to have the BEST C.S. around, not anymore. I talked to 4 people today about ONE order, and I wanted to say to them "NEVER start a sentence with 'Unfortunately'. Nothing good, ever comes after that..." Just DO YOUR JOB and listen to the customer.

I ordered dresses from Amazon and paid $91.95. I selected Amazon's free shipping and free returns. What they sent was 100% different than what the picture they posted looked like. I emailed them for a pickup/return. I WAS told to pack the dresses in the packing in which I received them and take them to my post office and send them back. I asked why I had to pay, they said even though I ordered them through Amazon, Amazon was 'the middle person.' The vendor that sold via AMAZON does not offer free shipping/returns. I wrapped all 3 dresses in their original packing and paid about $11.00 to return them and emailed them copies of my P.O. receipt. They emailed me acknowledging the receipt and I would get my refund.

About a week past, I emailed about my refund and was told I would see it in my bank account in 3 days. I discovered they only posted $25.00 and asked them why. They said I only sent one dress back. I told them if they received one, they received them all because I packed them all together... what liars. I continued to write them over and over. They posted another $19.00 in my account. I wrote them several times that they owe me all my money. They ignore me. Just imagine how much money they make by shipping out any piece of crap knowing their customer will not want it nor can they make a giant like AMAZON give them their money back!!!

Prime member for years. Became unhappy when Amazon started "skirting" their delivery times. Used to be you ordered today you got today. Then they started the trick of 2 day once filled. Despite their confirmations after you ordered that you could expect the package on such a date (today)... Now the scam is even though they send you a confirmation email with a GUARANTEED delivery date... it's a lie.

Have order placed Oct 15th 2015 for 6 items of which I received a confirmation email of GUARANTEED delivery of 4 items by Oct 17 and 2 items Oct 19. Because of Amazon's recent shipping issues I have started to screen snap all orders... Waited all day on 17. No items.... Then at end of day receive notice from Amazon that all 6 items will be delivered on Oct 19. Called Customer Service and whole the gentleman was nice, essentially it boils down to Amazon is NOT trustworthy in their shipping "guarantee" and yes, they may try and pacify you with a free month of Prime but the bottom line is they essentially are breaking their contract with us and really just don't give a hoot. If they did or even were trying to operate as the once reputable company they were they'd fix the dang shipping scam and (barring natural disaster) MEET THEIR SHIPPING GUARANTEE! Either that or make the order free.

And to add insult to injury... to not even have the class to notify a customer if there was a fulfillment/shipping problem during the days before the guaranteed delivery date and wait till the end of the missed delivery date to send some flip notice the order will now be delivered 2 days late is absolutely some of the worst business practice I have even seen. Maybe it's time we start complaining to the BBB or our states fraud division... 'cause IMO this is starting to be a bait and switch fraud game.

I order a lot of things from Amazon, both for personal and business reasons. I had an event on Oct 17th that I need items form. I purchased the items on Oct 3rd and waited. I was charged by Amazon for the items, and I waited. I eventually made a second purchase for a customer on Oct 10th, still no shipping confirmation from Amazon on the first purchase. I finally received a shipping confirmation stating that both purchases had shipped on Oct 12th and delivery would be by the 15th, two days before I need the items in the first purchase. I told my customer that their item would be in on Oct 15th as well. I waited.

Oct 15th comes and goes, no shipment arrives. I check the Amazon website and it still shows my items out for delivery on Oct 15th, but it is now Oct 16th. I call UPS, they don't have the package in their system, even though Amazon shows that the package was received by the carrier in Fort Worth, TX on Oct 13th and a tracking number generated.

I call Amazon, they have no idea where my items are. I ask to cancel the purchase of the items that were for me personally because I needed them on Oct 17th and now I had to wait an entire month for the event to take place again. Amazon can't cancel the order, they can't give me my money back, even though they have no idea where my items are. They have to wait for the "deadline". I told them the arrival date had come and gone, so when was the "deadline"? I was told the "deadline" is Oct 17th. I asked Amazon what they could do for me then, they said they could not say until the "deadline" was reached.

Amazon told me they would call me on Oct 17th. I had to cancel out of the event that takes place once per month because I did not have the items I purchased from Amazon. I also had to call up my customer and advise them that I had no idea when their item would arrive, which is very bad for business, especially since it was not my fault. Since I purchase items on Amazon as part of my business, I now must worry about this happening in the future. I will have to confirm every shipment confirmation I receive, a big hassle, or purchase items from someone else so it does not disrupt my business.

So sick of Amazon sending packages through USPS! When you live in a rural area like I do, USPS gets to decide whether or not they 'want' to deliver the package, even when you've paid for 'guaranteed' 2 day delivery! This is what the USPS counter person told me the last time I had to pickup a package AT THE POST OFFICE 3 days after the 'guaranteed' delivery date and I quote: "We get to choose to deliver if it doesn't fit in the box. #1. If the mail carrier is new or a sub and they don't know where the house is. #2 If they can't see the house from the road. #3 If the house is more than 1/10th of a mile (528ft) from the mailbox. #4 If they are running late on delivery time. And #5 If the package needs a signature."

So to that response I said "so in order to get a 'guaranteed' delivery TO my home, I need to AVOID USPS completely," and she said "YES MA'AM YOU DO." Seriously??!! I've had enough! I'm going to start AVOIDING Amazon, because I can't avoid USPS using without having the ability to choose a carrier! Time to go to other website dealers or just make purchases at my local stores again!! So sick of this crap!!

No stars if I could. Amazon banned my account for having too many delivery problems. Tell me what's Amazon's excuse for bullying their customers whom by the way put money in Amazon's wallet for something the customer has no control over? I am going to do an investigation on Amazon, look into how Amazon has bullied customers and sellers and anyone else Amazon has ever bullied. I have lawyers in the family who were in military law and are respected by 3 different politicians. Amazon, you have bullied the wrong person this time.

First off I rarely get my packages from Amazon THEN I GET BULLIED FOR IT!?! What the ** is wrong with your dumb ** Amazon? Huh? All the ** money and power gone to your head and think it's ok to be a cyber bully? You ** could wipe your ** with $100 bills but it isn't enough so you bully customers for your mistakes!? Well you have cyber bullied the wrong ** person this time **. You should be grateful I even stayed with you considering how I almost never get my god ** packages. I can and will go after you for cyber bullying and looking at all the articles I found online about Amazon being a cyber bully, it won't be hard to do.
