Amazons products and prices have suffered since they have increased the amount of third-party sellers. These individuals often price their products above market value, I don’t shop at Amazon as much as I use to; probably 30% less than 2 years prior. It’s becoming easier to find better online deals with similar free shipping incentives elsewhere. However, their customer service reps are phenomenal and always promptly correct any issues I have had.

I've been ordering online from Amazon for many years and have had little to no problems with ordering, pricing, shipping, or returns. The site usually has what I want at a good price. And let's not forget Kindle!

I purchase quite a few items from Amazon and have nearly always received good value, good prices and reasonable delivery times. If there are any problems these have been resolved quite well.

I have never had a problem that was not resolved ASAP. Wish all customer service was like Amazon. Also, their inventory is amazing and priced below most retailers all from the privacy of your home or work!

Yesterday I placed an order with Amazon and the checkout would not let me use my Amazon charge card unless I agreed to sign up for Amazon Prime which you have to pay for. I liked the Amazon charge card because you got 3% back on purchases but now I won't be using it because the Prime (a $99 a year charge, if not more now) is not worth it to me. I don't shop there that often. It a shame that these enormous companies are still trying to get more money with things people don't want. They are doing great financially so why would they jeopardize losing customers. I will be looking for other places to shop. I have a $3.94 credit in my Amazon charge account but now I can't get it. Hope they enjoy getting that windfall - have a coffee on me.

I signed up for the Amazon Prime card, not realizing the bank behind it would be this—to me completely unknown 3rd party company—called Synchrony Bank. They sent the credit card to me in the mail while I was away on a month-long business trip, so I didn't have access to the card. I missed the first payment because I even forgot that I opened the account at all. Furthermore, when you open an account with Amazon and then you get a call and see "Synchrony Bank" on your caller ID, you're inclined to not answer as it looks like a telemarketing call.

As a newcomer to Amazon Prime, I've become wary of Amazon's hired delivery service based on what I have witnessed. Two orders I placed in April never arrived. However, I believe that what I had observed upon the actual delivery time seems to indicate Amazon does not vet their Amazon delivery crew. When I placed the orders, I made sure to be in my home to receive the packages or hear the doorbell to sound the assurance of a delivery made. At the time of each delivery I saw that a white van, which looked like a retired USPS van due to no visible USPS markings, was sitting outside my front window... for some time. The person in the van never got out to place the packages at my door. However, I noticed that while he was sitting in the van, he was able to verify through the Amazon electronic connection that he had indeed arrived at my address. In other words, he made a "certified delivery".

Easy to shop and very easy returns. When I need to call customer service, they are very easy to get your problem solved. Also easy to contact sellers through the site.

Amazon has lowered its standards considerably! Items are not as represented, Amazon credits Amazon account not your credit card used, delivery is horrible. Extremely disappointed in Amazon.

Every so often Amazon sends me emails offering items that match what I have purchased before. They will send me great deals on facial care products at very good prices. Always, I order and the product arrives within 1 week.

Sometimes the prices seem to be about a third more than they should be. Don't enjoy getting so many shipments from a single order. Lots of package waste. Two day shipping has gone extinct, at least 3-4 nowadays. Do love the ability to find oddball things though.

Amazon has most of what I need at an affordable price; and they deliver on time. Their customer service is very good too. Their billing is spot on. Can't ask for more than that.

The trouble is, you don't always know exactly what you are getting. To ship it back costs money so it is not always cost effective to return. When I know the product well, I can often get a better deal online with Amazon. But then I bought a outdoor mat that I later found out I could have bought for half the price at the local hardware store. Then there is the barbecue mat that left this huge black stain on my deck and the company was not helpful. It's great for gifts so I don't have to ship them to the post office. It's great for books too. So my reviews are mixed. Buyer beware.

My shopping experience with Amazon has been great. If you should need to return an item, they make it simple. I place and order with them for items that I cannot find immediately in local stores almost weekly. Their selection of merchandise is great and this is also a great place to check for pricing. I do not always find they have the best price, but this is rare.

I love Amazon shopping. I have a tough time with their website filters, though. The upper right controls suck. As in, I have given feedback over 5 times that when I search and get 100 products back then try to use the upper right filters, it brings in products that aren't relevant to the search crit. It totally changing the product pull! Like Luggage search brings back Pampers Diapers when I filter by Price Low to High. DOH! I leave feedback all the time but I never see it fixed. ALSO - competitive sources list the same product at vastly different prices. AND I can often find a better selection and price outside Amazon. So it's worth being careful on Amazon to 1. Make sure you are finding the lowest price among competitors. 2. Getting the best selection AND PRICE but searching Outside Amazon. On a good note, I LOVE Subscription options so I can get products I use regularly shipped right to my door all the time on time. Great company.

Amazon is the number one only shopping store for me. From placing the order to the arrival of the product Amazon gives you truly the best shopping experience.

Whenever I am shopping for a product I Google it first and more often than not Amazon has the best value or price. Add Prime membership and I don't have to worry about purchase totals. Cannot get any better.

I can find many products that are much cheaper than other sites. We also love the ability for recurring orders. The app and website is easy to use as well. Each order has a shipping number and I can track my packages.

Generally, my go to online retailer. Prices on Amazon are almost always better than competitors and if you pay the annual fee for Prime, shipping is free. Returns are very easy but shipping times can be variable, occasionally misleading, even with Prime. Customer service is changeable depending on the representative.

Working with Amazon has been a great experience. Ordering, returns and dealing with extended warranties were very easy. I broke the screen on tablet and they sent me full amount of purchase and I was able to buy a new one.

I have ordered goods or products from Amazon, for over 20 years. Their service and product just keep getting better and better. They do so many things well. I purchased an Audio Receiver a few months ago and because a misleading info the sale information about a Bluetooth headset connection that require the purchase of their brand at $900.00. I wanted to return the unopened Rec. As the last word was the manufacturer. Was impossible to return it. I still have it in his box. $599.00 lost and Very unhappy wife.

First of all... amazing that when you call Amazon, they cannot find you in their computers unless they manually type in name, email address, mailing address etc. How amazingly archaic and inefficient. Here I am assuming the computer recognizes my phone number and can pull up my information from that... NOT. Secondly, I ordered a item... Amazon could not tell me when it was going to arrive so I contacted the seller who told me that Amazon sends it, so contact them which it did. Amazon could not tell me a carrier and therefore a date of arrival. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Because of this, I now have to drive 2 hours to get the item tomorrow.

Amazon is a very well know for online shopping, I did some comparative shopping and found the best prices on Amazon. They had no hidden fees and I trusted giving them my information. The website is designed very well and is easy to use and understand. The product was shipped to my house very quickly. It only took 4 days. I was very satisfied with Amazon and will be using it again.

Amazon Prime's annual "fee" is a subtle loan. When paid in monthly installments the billed amount is higher than 1/12 the advertised fee. At $99.99, the monthly amount on my Visa should have been about $8.55. The billed amount was $10.99. I don't remember seeing a disclosure of an APR for monthly fee payments, and that little bit of excess is also counted as part of a "purchase" on the Prime Visa. If you are not paying your whole Visa Bill each month, you are paying interest on the interest for the privilege of being a Prime member. If you are not buying SOMETHING at a substantial savings each month, you are just throwing away the value of your membership for those months while lining the coffers of both Amazon and Visa.

You can't beat Amazon for returns with a valid reason. No hassles and free pickup for returns. I spent $3 more by not using their recommended plumber.

I am amazed how quickly items are processed and delivered. I joke with my friends that you hit your enter button and go to your front porch and pick up your item.

I started using Amazon after I joined a survey community that rewarded participants with Amazon e-gift cards. I started shopping at Amazon after allowing my gift cards to accumulate. Went online- found what I wanted. Ordered that item- It was to be mailed within 7 to 10 days and arrived in 6 days!!! That’s awesome! This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered something and the service was outstanding.

Amazon always has excellent customer service. Prices are very good. Prime membership does have great benefits. Returns are easy and refunds are done rapidly. Highly recommend.

Ordered 3 blouses... 2 of them were not even what was pictured. Cheap material and terrible fit. ENDED UP DONATING THEM BECAUSE the cost to return them was more than the cost of each blouse... Which of course they all needed to be sent in different packages to different addresses.

I would like the credit card numbers to disappear from their page once the purchase is made. Amazon is squirrely. We went in last December to make orders under one credit card number. We succeeded. But when we signed on again, Amazon picked up another credit card number to pay the purchase, without us changing the card number to be used for the purchase. The wrong card was used, and after a lot of fussing with our friend, we had to pay him back. This is my beef!

We ran into a problem with porch thieves. We reordered and the shipment went to a lockbox. Again the package had been opened but this time, the goods were still there. Clearly someone had opened it to steal something and changed their mind. I think there is an organized crime side to Amazon shippers. Amazon were good about it, I was not charged for the stolen goods and the police were involved. The word diamond was on the invoice. Industrial diamond, the thieves pry did not understand that part. Amazon backup was excellent.

I enjoyed my whole experience shopping on Amazon except one thing. I noticed concerning the sell of "HP 635" accessories. I noticed companies would intentionally provide false information in their product descriptions to increase sells on components such as power cords, batteries, and laptop replacement screens.

I find that purchasing on Amazon is very easy and that making use of shopping list is a must. I don't buy anything without looking over the reviews. I have been an Amazon Prime member for years. Never had an issue until about a month ago when they refused to allow me to post feedback on sellers I purchased from. At first I thought it was a computer glitch. I called customer service and found out they deliberately discriminated against me. When I questioned further they said I accepted graft/gratuities from sellers to post false positive feedback about a product. When I further questioned I was stonewalled stating their decision was final. I to this day do not know who what where or when this Lie against me was perpetrated. I wrote the CEO still no answer. I feel they are violating several of my constitutional rights (freedom of speech and due process) and I am considering starting an action against them.

I have been a Amazon Prime customer for several months now. I have seen a decline in the quality of their service including products arriving in poor condition with the packaging completely torn up and missed delivery dates. I recently preordered an item and then later received an email stating there was a delay in my order. When clicking on the item page, the item was listed as "in stock." I contacted customer service asking why my item did not ship but is listed as in stock. They sent me a long email talking about their shipping process but never answered my question. They gave me the option to cancel my order but never gave me an estimated delivery date. I emailed customer service again and was direct in stating Amazon did not answer my question and that I need an estimated delivery date in order to make an informed decision if I need to cancel my purchase or not; as suggested my customer service themselves.

I was a huge Amazon fan for a number of years and have ordered thousands of dollars worth of product in the past. I even recently signed up as a vendor. Was trying to log into my account one day and the two-step verification was sending a code to my old cell phone (I'd recently moved and hadn't changed it with Amazon yet). Many emails and several phone calls later, after going around and around in circles and spending hours on what should have been a simple fix on their end, they didn't follow through on the last phone call they promised from an "Account Specialist." That was the last straw. I handed them their walking papers, so to speak.

I love Amazon, but what I don't love is when something you order regularly goes off of Prime and then is sold by third-party vendors. The price suddenly triples or quadruples to an exorbitant price. Also some of the vendors they use lose packages, or deliver to the wrong places.

I started shopping with Amazon around 5 years ago, and I didn’t join Prime immediately. I wanted to try the experience first. It took a few months and then I joined and I haven’t quit. They have been a wonderful company to deal with. They have taken care of me in many ways. One way they helped was I purchased a pair of speakers for a gift and I purchased the wrong ones, and I didn’t notice that there was no returns on this item. I called them and they told me they would deduct the charge and to keep the speakers. When a few of my Prime items didn’t arrive on time they gave me a few months of free Prime. I think a lot of brick and mortar stores should follow a lot of Amazon's procedures that would keep the customers coming.

Ease of shopping is great but their shipping charges is ridiculous that sometime it cost more than merchandise unless you are Prime. Do not order often to join so we pay for Prime members and order even less.

I wonder if Amazon and other companies like it really did help with the demise of Toys and Babies"R"Us. Can online shopping really be replacing the local stores? I would shop Amazon more if I could have instant delivery at a decent price, but with three Prime discount, next day and two-day delivery aren't that bad.

Trusted to get the right part but got the wrong part which was cheaper than the part I ordered and not as good. Would not refund the "over" pay for the wrong part unless I sent it back. It was a heavy part and would have cost a lot for the postage. So had to keep it and lose my money.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for over 10 years and for most part I have been very happy with their services. However for past year, Amazon have been using Amazon logistics for most of their deliveries. This company is nothing short of a nightmare, even though I am a Prime member, they NEVER deliver products on time (usually 2-3 days late), for every single delivery, I have to call them and spend 30-40 min on the phone to locate a package. Or simply the driver lies about delivering a package. Amazon logistics is incompetent, and it seems Amazon customer services cannot help you with their own delivery problems. As the result of this, I am going to stop ordering from Amazon until they resolve this issue.

For over a year now, we have put up with Amazon's inability to keep its Prime promise and deliver according to their stated delivery date (after shipped and confirmed in emails they send). When you call to register complaint of non-delivery, they make excuses and expect the customer to wait. Don't think so! I order a product, they take my money, they owe me the product. Instead of resolving the problem, they blame the carrier or throw refund or Prime extension and THEN they tell you to 'reorder'.

They canceled my product without my knowledge and when I called customer care they are talking like fools and started telling me story of vendor that this product is not available at that vendor but what I will do with that, I want my product... I don't want to know the problem. I want my product. First they want to trap in website problem. This is happening with me Second time. Worst Service provided by Amazon ever. He should stop his marketing in India. If you cannot provide then you should stop giving service. Second time I called to customer care she was put my call on hold for 5 min. without any information.

Amazon stand behind their products. I order a lot of product from them. Whenever I have any issues they are always there. I have only 1 issue with a seller that they didn’t resolve.

Charging customers without their consent $100 plus tax for PRIME when buying a fifteen dollar item is highway robbery. My bank removes this fee and I will no longer purchase anything at Amazon.

I love Amazon because they back up my purchases 100% if it doesn’t meet my expectations. Great customer service whenever I have had any issues with anything I’ve ordered.

I have ordered many items from Amazon and have never been let down yet. With Prime most items are to your door in 2 days or less. If you should run into a problem they are prompt to take care of you. My go to place even on hard to find items.

I have ordered from Amazon dozens and dozens of times over the years and have never been disappointed with what I've ordered. The time it took to get my products has been spot-on from when I'm told my stuff will arrive and I've never had a damaged product either.

Anything you want you can find in with Amazon Prime. In two-three days in rural America you have it at your doorstep. If you change your mind you can return it and refund is not questioned and very quick. Lots of reviews posted, so very seldom do I return anything.

I have to say for the most part I’ve always been very happy with my purchases through Amazon.com. The ease of returns is definitely what brings me back to the site. I do most of my Christmas shopping online at Amazon.com. Amazon Prime offers free shipping which is definitely helpful and with the money. I like that I can order on Amazon and ship to a friend or family member at another address. All in all I’d say the experience has been very good. However, I do stay away from their food shopping because you have to join a club in order to get the prices. I find that if you don’t join the club the prices are pretty expensive and definitely not a bargain.

The vast majority of my purchases on Amazon have been excellent. Items are consistently correct, packaged well and arrive as promised. Value is good. However, when there is a problem it is a little hard to contact customer service, but once contact resolution has been reasonable.

Amazon carries most of what a everyday customer is looking for except for certain foods. Most of the products they have is what you would buy out of the store but they also have customer view of the products they have purchased. The best one to look at is to look at the lowest stars. They give honest views. Look at what you are buying with those views and you know if you are getting what you expect to get. If the product have Amazon best buy does not mean it's the best.

Amzon.com is most of the time the cheapest to get a range of goods delivered to your doorstep in a timely manner. Any disappointment with your purchase in most cases you get a full refund. Really can't wait for same day delivery.

I have had good shopping experiences so far with Amazon. I was not dazzled on one purchase and another fell flat but both refunded my purchase. I did not have to return anything. Being overseas the shipping is fantastic. Now if I could get my stateside shoes they would be amazing.

When I place an order on Amazon, they send an email out ASAP. So I can check to see if I need to change my order. Then when my order is ready to ship they send another email confirming it. I receive emails and texts that track my shipment at any time and when my order is on the way to be delivered Amazon tells me when it will be at my home. Amazon gives the best prices and the best follow-up of any online site.

Great values and quick delivery, even on Sundays. I've experienced no issues or problems over the past several years that I've used Amazon. It also helps that they have a distribution center in my region of southeastern Wisconsin.

In my last 14 orders, 9 of them were late. I was offered a one-time deal of an extra month added to my Prime account. Their position is they shipped it out next day. My position is that I don't contract with the shipping carrier, they do. I don't offer Guaranteed Delivery, they do. I have just given up. Took my Amazon Wish List and was able to find most of the items on it through Walmart with comparable prices so I have switched to Walmart for now. I know others experience the same problem. At the very least I think they should have to stop falsely advertising Guaranteed Delivery dates since they cannot reasonably fulfill that promise.

I am an Amazon Prime member and whenever they use USPS as the carrier my shipment is sent to a post office and not my home. The Amazon tracking says it was delivered to my home but it was not. This has happened for my last 20 orders and I have tried to resolve this with Amazon but it seems hopeless. Before when my orders were shipped with UPS, FedEx or OnTrac I never had a problem and shipments were delivered to my home. I am retired and seldom drive. Recently I had surgery and it's very hard to get around. When my shipments are sent to a post office I have to find a way to get there and then I have to wait in a long line. I can not do this anymore. I wish Amazon would go back to home deliveries with UPS, FedEx or OnTrac.

Amazon is the best place to find items I need at a reasonable price and quick shipping which I love. I also like that all the items I have ordered are packed well.

Ordering from Amazon is simple and easy. Returns are easy and never had any problems with ordering, delivery and customer service. However, I do wish that they accepted PayPal, I prefer to use PayPal instead of entering CC information.

One of the greatest benefits for shopping from Amazon is that you can find just about anything you want. But the one caution is to check prices as Amazon is not always the best price.

Price, availability, service and convenience are the most important four factors that drive consumer purchases. When places don't carry much merchandise I often don't return unless it is a specialty item. Amazon has a full selection of everyday products.

The main problem with buying online is clothes and shoes sizes, they vary so much even with the same brand. The reviews are very helpful in this regard and Amazon is usually easy to do returns but you have to read the return policies. Sometimes it costs and the cost is more than the item cost.

I've only had one problem. I wanted to order a loft bed from Amazon and the only way it could be delivered to my address if I was a Prime member. Which I think that is ludicrous. Other than that excellent service.

The only thing I don't like about Amazon is that every small food item is an add-on. I can't get to the store. I need to order my food. Maybe I just want some M&M's or a bag of chips. Also Amazon Fresh has a subscription fee for Prime members. Don't we pay enough? I won't use it for that reason.

I absolutely love Amazon. They ship so quickly as long as it is made in the states. They also stand behind every order. I had an issue with curtains being cut too short. Amazon stepped in and refunded my whole purchase. They are responsive and courteous in every respect.

I needed a leather backpack and had looked everywhere local. I found a HUGE selection on Amazon and was able to get questions answered by people who had ordered things. I found one, sold by a start-up company that was perfect. They answered my questions and I ordered it. I LOVE IT!

Amazon customer service is excellent. They solve the problem promptly and instantly. I have not had to waste weeks or days for a decision. And their return policy is quick and easy.

In the many years I have dealt with Amazon, I have only had two problems. In one instance, a vendor sent me the wrong item. In the second instance, the shipper sent my large screen TV to the wrong end of the state and it did not get here when I needed it. In both cases, Amazon handled the refunds promptly and courteously. Outside of that, they've been exceptionally good.

The main beef I have at this point is the habit of Amazon to keep your credit open for their use. I subscribe to Prime and nothing else. They have charged me for apps I don't use or want to pay for. My advice just assume you will be overcharged by Amazon and adopt a no open card policy, Amazon must get my approval prior to payment. And if they charge me for something I did not order they can argue with my bank.
