    I work at an apartment community in Dallas, Tx. We have several residents who order from Amazon on a daily basis, including myself. Typically the ordering process is easy and you get your packages quick. Since hiring independent contractors to deliver these packages, the overall laziness is quite shameful. We have parcel lockers that our residents pay for for a reason. They know their belongings are secured and they can pick them up at any time.

    However, when they come to deliver the 10plus packages into the office and we politely tell EVERY SINGLE NEW CARRIER that comes in (because there is not a system set in place with delivers apparently) where to deliver them as well as their code... there is either the carrier comes back after being gone for 10seconds to say it's too full or so and so is not in the lockers (I work here... I would know who is or who isn't) OR my personal favorite... we let them know where to go and the code and they walk to our open mailroom and drop all of the residents' packages on the ground.

    Packages that people spent quite of bit of money on and trust Amazon to deliver these things to them. There has got to be something that is done to correct this issue. It has come to be an everyday thing and it drives us to only tell everyone how awful Amazon is when it comes to the delivery portion. I'm sorry with how long this is, but I think that if you are going to hire someone to deliver things they should not just throw tons of packages in an open mailroom or come dressed in their PJ's to present a well known establishment. I am clearly not the only one having this issue as I see several reviews across the nation that are having these same problems.

    I have been a long-term, regular Amazon customer and was very happy with amazon, but recently their delivery service has been a real headache! Amazon delivery agents have strange looking private business vans and they do not call or knock on the door, they just leave the packages in the porch. I have lost 2 packages already! FedEx delivery is also doing the same for amazon packages - they just leave them in the porch and it is gone by the time we realize and get it. I have stayed at home specifically because I was expecting a package and there was no knock, no call, nothing. I have to keep checking my orders all day long and rush to get it from the porch before someone steals it!

    This is a real headache as a customer. I do not want so much stress because amz can't get their delivery right. I have called amazon and reported this issue and the rep said the issue will be reported to the respective team. But the next order was abandoned in the porch! Amazon doesn't seem to understand that cheap delivery means customers pay the price by losing their packages. I have decided to just stop using amazon.

    Amazon allows third party sellers to get by with false advertisement. For me I won't use Amazon again, but if you must do not order from other sellers. In my case I bought what was supposed to be 14 cases of pet food from Lucky Vitamin. I received 14 single cans. Do you want to pay twenty dollars a can? Amazon said they would question the seller. A week later the seller has yet to correct their page and Amazon does nothing. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON.

    I ordered 4 tires. Two arrived. Then I got an email from Amazon saying the place they get them from ran out and no more were available. But the next day the 3rd arrived, so Amazon itself doesn't know what it's talking about. Then I didn't know if the 4th would arrive or not, so after waiting more than a week I realized it wasn't coming so I had to order it from Walmart.

    There was a time when Amazon was the place to buy, sight unseen. Great prices and awesome customer service. No more. A. Their prices have risen over the past few years, to the point where you can often find better prices at Best Buy or Staples, or Walmart, and most important. B. Their customer service has gotten pathetic. They have cut reps and farmed the rest overseas. Useless canned scripted responses that show no understanding of the problem and lies and BS from this company is all you get. Every issue requires many communications, back and forth, and often BBB and AG complaints until you get it properly resolved. They don't pay their sellers what they owe, and lie and steal. Just a lowlife shady operation now.

    I ordered eclipse glasses on Aug. 10 with 2-day shipping. It is now Aug. 19, the glasses have not arrived, and I checked my order, and now the glasses are due on Aug. 22, the day after the eclipse. When I contacted Amazon, they said they had a problem with the glasses and were reordering them. They are not even in stock. If I had known they were having a problem getting the glasses and shipping them to me, I would have gotten them at the Academy of Science in San Francisco, of which I am a member. At this late date, they are all sold out.

    Overall, my experience has been good. But I have been price comparing, and I don't think Amazon has the best prices that I once thought they had. It is also hard to get anyone to talk with when you have a problem, but they are good about returning items. It's a very easy process.

    I order a lot of products from Amazon. A wide range of things, from makeup, to fishing line, to sandals, to dog collars, to well you get the idea. In general the sellers are wonderful to deal with and as long as Amazon just does its normal routine function, it's wonderful too. The problem is when there is a problem. The first thing most people do, me included is go to the FAQs and try to find the answer. I don't seem to be able to find an answer to the majority of my questions, at the bottom it asks if you found what you read helpful, yes or no. If you select no, then you can write down why it wasn't helpful and submit it. Most sites would then take this information and help you.

    Amazon takes the information and tells you that they will NOT help you or get anyone to help you, they will just contemplate your information. Eventually you may stumble across where you can send an email, live chat, or phone for help, I have done all three. They lie. You don't get help, you get teenagers who were probably playing video games and you interrupted them. The last thing they want to do is help you! They will tell you and promise you ANYTHING just to get you off chat, phone, stop emailing! It will be weeks anyhow before you find out, they don't care.

    The best thing if you have a problem is if it is a problem with the product or something similar, something the seller can fix for you. 90% of the sellers are hungry, eager, new startups and they need your business. Bypass Amazon and deal directly with the sellers if possible. If it is an internal problem I have found calling to be the best option, always. The last time I had a problem I met the best customer service person ever! I have no clue what she was doing at Amazon. When they sent out their follow up survey about my service I let them know that this lady should be the trainer for every customer service person they had and she needed a huge raise. Amazon is great when everything goes right. Amazon is hell when even one thing goes wrong.

    I have had the most horrifying week trying to get a package from Amazon delivered. Stonewalled, lied to, insulted and talked to like I am a retarded 2-year old! Most of the Customer service reps do not understand or speak basic English! Sentences are pasted repeatedly outside of context and questions answered the same way. I am disabled and I was told to go fetch my package right after I informed the Customer Service Rep I am disabled and that's why I order online for home delivery. They refused to redeliver or deal with UPS and only offered a store credit as a refund. Why would I want to order from them again to go through the same hell! As of this moment, Amazon stole my money and the arrogance with which I was dismissed is appalling!

    I love Amazon and I usually find everything and anything I'm looking for. They seem to know what I may like and show me as I'm looking or send me emails. I've also found things I didn't know existed. I have always had timely shipments or gifts sent without issue. The prices are good but shipping can be a hassle on some items but can be reduced if you buy more even at other shippers. If I want something bad enough, I’ll buy an extra item I was saving for later to avoid shipping charges that would have been higher. I love that I can save thousands of items for later and keep them operated by groups such as shoes, gifts and decor for home. I can also breakdown by rooms or by names of friends and family.

    I've had an Amazon account for ages. For the most part, I have been entirely pleased. However, a recent experience changed that. In 2016 I purchased a "Certified Refurbished" Seagate external drive from the PrimeDeals seller, which is an Amazon account, I assume. After the 90 day warranty point, the drive failed. I contacted Seagate, who said the drive was never intended to be resold. In fact, they consider them defective. That came directly from Seagate after they traced the information I provided. Every note on the seller's page indicates that Seagate has certified the drives. The seller is Quantum Networks. Beware of any "refurbished" items sold by Amazon, particularly from this seller.

    I have been an Amazon customer for a number of years and have spent thousands of pounds with them. Last week I ordered some seat covers for my Lexus RX450H. When they arrived the quality was poor and they were miles too small. When I asked to return them I was told that I would have to bear the cost of the return postage, well this is totally unreasonable as the items weren't as described and unfit for purpose. So I don't see why I should be out of pocket when I purchased the covers in good faith, Amazon have been no help under their A/Z guarantee which as far as I can see doesn't exist, when I tried to review the seller and the item giving my experience with the transaction, it was refused as I don't think Amazon is prepared to print negative reviews about themselves online. I am looking into suing the seller for the return postage as a matter of principle as I am not prepared to be bullied or conned.

    I usually don't have too much of an issue when dealing with customer service, however today they told me it is no fault of their own that 2-day shipping can take 2 weeks to actually be delivered. It doesn't matter if it says to expect it next Wednesday, it can take however long they want as long as the product takes 2 days to ship from the time it has left their facility. So, if they take a month to hand it to their delivery team, then expect the product in one month and two days- that's what your prime membership buys you. Seems like false advertising to me.

    I love Amazon. Great prices for everyone and large selection of products. But Amazon needs to improve their sizing chart for women, men and children. Their sizing charts are out of date. Most companies are from overseas. Their sizing is different there, than sizing in U.S.A. Trying to found the right size in girls for my granddaughter is very hard. My granddaughter is size 7 USA. She is small also for her age so getting the fit needed is hard sometimes. The product sometimes comes too small or big. I notice a lot of other people have the same problem. I wrote Amazon on the problem but nothing has changed.

    I appreciated most of my shopping experience with Amazon; however, when it comes to the individual market sellers, there had been quite a few problems with my orders. Not enough accountability were held to give me confidence to order from the market sellers because I could not tell who is going to be reliable. Also, the shipping company, OnTrac, has been a big problem and Amazon continued to use its services even after reading many complaints about its horrible and unreliable services.

    I created an account with ConsumerAffairs SOLELY to publicly state that Amazon has the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I wrote this review on their website for a gift that was never delivered and it took all of 10 seconds for me to get an email back that, "Your review could not be posted." So I will just have to do it here! This item (Graco baby dream glider) was registered for as a gift on my sister's baby registry and my aunt received email confirmation that it was delivered back in July. Well, it wasn't. Never was.

    And now a month later, after countless phone calls to try and recover the lost item with people who cannot understand how to spell my name, zip code, and don't know how to transfer calls with people who CAN understand, (which means you have to just hang up and call back) and many emails with snotty service representatives who tell us to return the item (which cannot be returned because it was never received in the first place), our status is STILL UNRESOLVED from Amazon. This item was over $200 and my aunt is not wealthy, but they aren't refunding her yet. Amazon denies responsibility for the problem, writing off to "third party vendor".

    The third party is nonresponsive, we had to contact them via email (there's no phone #) and wait for 2 days before Amazon would take further action. So we did that, and THEN Amazon tells us we have to file a claim with them, which they now tell us will be 1 more week for the 3rd party to not respond AGAIN, and then 3 MORE WEEKS for Amazon to issue my aunt her refund!! This is UNREAL that a company this sleazy can have achieved the size it has today. They are just keeping people's money in way that is dishonest and deceitful when we the consumers did absolutely nothing wrong. Cut your losses and shop local with people who actually care about your experience. Life is too short for this stress and nonsense! Will NEVER shop with Amazon again if I can help it. And find every other online venue I can to state the same.

    I am a Community Manager at an apartment community and for the 2nd time in the past 2 weeks Amazon delivery person left our resident's packages outside our leasing office because they were too lazy to deliver them to their customer's door. One delivery person literally stated that he is not delivering in the rain and that these Amazon customers can come outside our leasing office and fight for the packages. Ever since Amazon started using people off the street to deliver their packages the delivery service is awful. They are dressed unprofessionally and act rude. Also to try and resolve this over the phone is impossible. I have been transferred 4 times and didn't get anywhere and was not taken seriously. I am very disappointed in Amazon for letting this happen. Every single day they try to bring tons of packages into our leasing office without attempting delivery. P.S. Amazon we do not get paid to do your job.

    I order from Amazon frequently. The only trouble I have ever had was the keyboard stand I ordered when I ordered my Yamaha Keyboard. The Keyboard Stand was by Knox Keyboards and did not have the parts needed to assemble the stand. I reported it, and was offered another Knox Keyboard stand. I don't want that kind because they have gone out of business and there is no reason to think the next stand would have the right parts included for assembly.

    Amazon is amazing. For me, it's the ultimate convenience in shopping. I don't have to leave the comfort of my home and they deliver the goods right to me. And you can track the product online so you know exactly what day to expect it. There are some items I wouldn't even know where to find in stores or which store to go to but I can look it up on Amazon and usually find it. My pet food is cheaper on Amazon than in PetSmart and I don't have to carry the product into the house because they deliver it right to me. And such a variety of products - they have more variety than the stores and each product has reviews about the product so you can get the details and the general feeling about the product from consumers. Those reviews really do help me determine which product to choose. Amazon is one of the most convenient things about modern shopping.

    Amazing to place an order through Amazon, have it confirmed and the next day to also have it canceled by the vendor (not Amazon). Reason: Technical Problem. Oh, right, technical problems... like what? Post office was too far away? Nobody know and the vendor won't respond and Amazon says it's 3rd party and between the mysterious vendor and me. This is MY kind of business: profit without responsibility. Yep, we can and must do better than the jungle river.

    Last week a made a order to be delivered in a Amazon Locker, since I could only collect on Saturday 19th. I placed on Thursday so on free shipping should be 5-8 business days to arrive. For my surprise Amazon is so efficient that my package has been update to deliver Tuesday 15th, with 3 days window to collect on locker I would not be able to reach, so I get in contact to Customer Service to reschedule the deliver to Thursday. That was yesterday and today for my surprise my request has been deleted from order details, and my order has been delivered already on locker. So, by Wednesday it will be no more there. I contact CS again, they did not explain why my request has been not taken and can´t do anything because the locker! Department can only reach by phone and at the moment I am outside US.

    I ordered a book on Amazon by a third-party seller. I received a three week window in which I would receive the book. This window kept changing every time I checked. I received no tracking information until I complained to Amazon and the seller. I received a tracking number with no estimated arrival date. The only information indicated was the item was in transit. I complained to Amazon and received an e-mail from a customer service representative assuring me that I would receive a refund and that he filed an A-Z claim for me.

    The next day, I received an e-mail from Amazon informing me that the claim was denied. I spoke to a number of people at Amazon and no one would take responsibility for the promise made by the customer service representative. I was told that I can re-file the claim only after the supposed date I am to receive the book. Amazon will not take responsibility for false promises made by their employees and shady practices by their third-party sellers.

    I purchased an expensive router, with Amazon as the supplier, with free shipping. I live in Southern California, which is close to Amazon warehouses. Shipping Details: Thursday August 10, 2017 ordered item during night. Friday item not shipped - expected delivery date not shown. Saturday item not shipped. Tracking showed: Shipping date: Wednesday August 16. 'Expected' delivery date: August 17 to August 19. Item on hold from Friday August 11 to August 16. SIX DAYS ON HOLD!!!

    I investigated changing the order and delivery alternatives. When reordering, there was an option for the item to be delivered SAME DAY for $9.98. I reordered the item (at 11:30 am Saturday) and canceled the previous order. Item is now 'out for delivery' at 5:50 pm on Saturday. Obviously Amazon is deliberately holding orders to penalize customers for selecting free shipping, and encouraging customers to pay for 'expedited' shipping and/or encourage Amazon Prime.

    Deliberately holding orders to make customers wait, so that Amazon can increase profit is deceptive (as they do not explain this when ordering), bad customer service, unethical, and manipulative. Suggestion: Use Amazon affiliates when ordering products, if prices and terms are comparable. Alternately use a more ethical alternate supplier, that cares more about their customers. Do not get bullied into Amazon Prime for $10.99 /month or $99.00/year. Purchase the subscription service only if you actually want it.

    I ordered an item and chose free shipping. I noticed the item did not leave the warehouse and ship out immediately. In fact I watched it for 7 days and the in-stock item never moved. Customer service stated they did not need to ship it by a certain day and they only needed to be within the estimated time frame for delivery. Very slow shipping took 9 days to ship from 90 miles away. Amazon waited to the last day to ship and it was in stock. I guess you have to pay a $100 to get good service with prime account. But not from any other vender. The item was about the same price all over the web. I'll think again before ordering or I'll just have to pay for the concierge service like my doctor tries to push on me.

    Amazon used to be a great value with their 2-day shipping policy for Amazon Prime. It no longer is worth the price however as other stores are offering the same for no charge at same price. I'm keeping Kindle Prime and saving money.

    Ordering on Amazon is always easy and convenient. When I run across an item I might want I often go look for it on Amazon. There are many categories and I have a few credit cards saved. I like one click ordering where I can use the same address and credit card and order quickly. The return process is easy for a majority of the sellers. However it is hard to get a hold of customer support.

    I have been ordering from Amazon for several years and my experience has always been great. The items always arrive on time, in good condition and at a great price. Once, I received a CD from a reseller that was damaged and I was offered to swap it for a new one at no cost for shipping or replacement of the CD. I love Amazon's Prime membership because I can get items in two days without paying extra for it. The monthly fee is very cheap and also allows me to access free music.

    I also subscribe to Amazon's Cloud service. This is better than others that I have tried because of the reasonable charge for unlimited space. At first, I was wary of uploading personal data, but I have had no problems. Files and folders can also be synced to files on my hard drive, but I prefer to use Amazon Cloud only for backups. Overall, I find Amazon a great deal and a large collection of many items. I mostly order movies, TV shows, and software from them even though I know they offer many other items.

    I have been using Amazon for years, and it has been pleasant overall. Once, a show, that I purchased as a bundle to get the next day from when it first aired, was not available. I called Amazon, and they said it was because it was not given to them from the network. They quickly credited me a few bucks. But, more importantly, the representative admitted the error and got the ball rolling to contact the network and really solve the problem. He seemed thankful for bringing this to their attention. It felt nice to be heard and understood. It was also nice that this person had a next step action plan and put forth effort to help make up for the situation. I appreciate how this situation was handled, and I'm thankful for Amazon.

    I have spent 5 hours to get someone to help me with an issue on their website. All my subscriptions were cancelled because of an "invalid shipping address" although it is the address that my items have been delivered during the last 5 years. Then, every time I call "customer service" I end up in Philippines and 99%of the time they have no idea what to do except for hanging up. This takes me to my next point: employees claim Amazon prohibits them from giving out their ID number, or name, or reference number or anything to identify them in case a customer wants to report them. After all, Amazon wants your money, not to hear about underperforming employees.

    Additionally, Amazon's message "center" allows customers to receive emails from Amazon but customers cannot reply because there no reply button. Please, please, if your membership is ready to expire do not renew it. We are lucky there are still plenty of alternatives to shop at least at the same prices if not lower. By giving business to Amazon, we are endorsing their assault and complete disregard for customers.

    I used to be an avid user of Amazon and Prime services, and really enjoyed my membership. The shipping was fast and accurate, and prices have always been competitive and reasonable. Over the course of the last 2 months, however, their service has gone completely downhill. I've placed about 6 orders within the last few weeks, and each and every single order has had an issue of some kind. The first problem I faced was with delivery. Items would be delivered to the completely wrong address, and my husband and I would have to actually walk around the apartment complex, searching for our package.

    The 2nd problem I faced, was with an order never arriving at all; even though it was labeled as delivered. This resulted in a duplicate item having to be shipped to me, which made me have to wait longer. The 3rd problem I've faced now is receiving the COMPLETELY wrong item. It wasn't even CLOSE. I'm done with Amazon. Until the time comes when I absolutely must order something from them, I'm not going to be utilizing their Prime service, nor their basic store ever again.

    Amazon offers most anything you are looking to purchase and usually at a fair price. I will not spend the money to join Amazon Prime, but they often offer free shipping on certain items and shipments are received on time. Exchanges and/or refunds are usually very easy to make.     Until about two years ago, I would have rated Amazon a 5 but over the past two years, I've become increasingly plagued by false advertising, phony-baloney products and incredibly poor support from Amazon. A good many of the favorable "reviews" have proved bogus and my own negative reviews never seem to show up on the listings. And... Despite all the hype about getting the product "almost overnight", the majority of my purchases arrive weeks later (sometimes months later) or vanish altogether, even though "item delivered" is posted on the order site.

    It's rare I have a bad experience and it's one of the best online sites. My only issue is with writing reviews. I have contacted Amazon with this problem I know just doesn't affect me. We all have a bad experience or product time to time. The thing is I'm an honest reviewer and sometimes my reviews went lost because they say it's "profane" which quite honestly I don't review ever using profanity.     Viewing products in Amazon.com is easy. There are good descriptions of products however they are not always as good as described. They do refund your money minus double shipping charges. If you buy from them and not through a third-party you're OK but not always through them can you buy. The shipping charges added makes prices over what you can buy elsewhere. After finally connecting and "texting" with someone, they couldn't help. Shortly after we were "disconnected", and had to start over.     I ordered a new textbook for my son's college Statistics class and paid $186.44. What I received was a used textbook. How do I know it is used? The cover had marks all over it. The inside cover had a My Stat Lab label affixed to it with the access code scratched off and revealed, rendering the access code useless. Plus a copy of the previous owner's return label was in the back of the book complete with UPS Tracking #**.

    I am totally shocked, disgusted and disappointed that such a reputable company as Amazon would try to deceive a customer like this. I've been an Amazon Prime customer for years and even have an Amazon credit card through Chase. And unlucky for Amazon, JP Morgan Chase happens to be my employer. I should have been charged the used price of $90.02. The deceptive nature of Amazon has made me infuriated. Like they don't already make enough money. If this issue is not rectified I will initiate a chargeback through Chase for the full price and I will keep the book. Shame on you Amazon. But you didn't fool me.

    Prime shipping is a joke - false advertising. Ordered an item that said next day delivery (order by this time and receive next day). Placed order on Wed and expected it Thurs... it didn't arrive. Checked tracking and it says will receive on Monday... not even Friday. I called to complain and the rep tries to tell me (that's the suggested time) not even the true delivery time. I explained that they are false advertising!! I told them they need to take those promised delivery windows and change it to (best suggested time). I even typed in the item in again and it shows - receive by NEXT DAY. That's B.S. If I wanted to get that kind of response I would have ordered from eBay. You should not be showing a delivery window time if you can't guarantee it. This is also the reason I canceled Prime. I think I will just go back to eBay... with NO FEES.

The availability of products are well noted in description and very informative.     I have been a customer of Amazon for many years and a Prime member for quite a few of those years. I find that Prime is a seriously good value with the free two day shipping and the amazing programming on Amazon video as well as the other services that go with Prime. Whenever I have had a problem... which is very rarely... I got the best customer service I had heard about. One time it was when an episode of the Walking Dead did not appear on the right day... The email I got (which I hate to say I deleted accidentally) stated my download would appear shortly but if it did not the zombie apocalypse may have happened and I might want to buy one of these... with a link leading to a crossbow of the same type used by Daryl Dixon.

    Another time when an item did not arrive on time the agent patiently without annoyance connected a call to UPS and the USPS at the same time. Very recently I forgot I had put a gift for my Dad on a payment system and was puzzled when a month or so later I got an email about the first payment. I called customer service and the agent helped me remember my order. And they were nice and chatted with me. Amazon might be a monstrous business and a story I once heard about the life of department managers bothered me (how it somewhat required people not in relationships due to the long hours and requirements to be available at almost all times to talk to employees overseas in different time zones).

    The story might have been an attempt to chip at Amazon's monumental presence but I am guessing it was real. The Prime day of 2017 was a lot better than 2016's. I was actually able to wait for and buy a few things without them disappearing before I could add them to my cart. I cannot help but feel warm feelings towards Amazon... I love my Fire TV and my Echo. I love how I can subscribe to HBO NOW or Starz and just click my subscriptions on or off.

    I subscribed for Amazon Prime hoping I could watch movies and TV series for free just the way they are included in Netflix membership. However, none of my desired programs are available for free streaming in Amazon Prime! I either have to rent or buy them which is absolutely ridiculous. What did I exactly pay £79 for? I could buy or rent them without having a membership, couldn't I? I do not recommend Amazon Prime to anyone as all you will get is bunch of crap films and books you never want to watch or read. As for next day free delivery, it does not apply to all products and you have to pay the shipping cost of your purchase as usual. All in all, Amazon Prime membership is an absolute rip off.

    I am going to tell you what happened and you can judge for yourself. I had just applied for an Amazon store card so I purchased a TV with it which was just under my limit. I signed up for a 30-day free trial of prime membership. Later I order some other things for the TV on a different card. A couple days later I received the wall mount in the mail. At this point I found out that the mount as well as all the other things were charged to my Amazon store card and that the TV I bought first was having the payment declined. So I spent 3 days on the phone with Amazon to get things straight.

    After being on the phone so much and being tossed around by customer service, I thought everything was all right. Come to find out the day after all the calling, I found out that the whole snowball happened because Amazon charged $99 for prime membership to my store card. And as I said, I had a 30-day free trial. Anyway, I had to cancel the TV and 4k Blu-ray player and I am returning the wall mount and the new movies. In conclusion - I was excited about a whole new entertainment center and I ended up with none of it.

    I placed an order on July 29th for a product that I needed for a vacation starting August 3rd at 3 pm. The product is sold and fulfilled by Amazon. It was scheduled to be delivered on August 2nd by 8 pm. At 8:05 pm on August 2nd, I checked the Amazon website - it still listed that the product would be delivered by 8 pm that day. I copied the FedEx number and pasted it into a FedEx tracking website where I found that my package was in transit. I called FedEx to find out exactly what was going on. The nice person there told me that Amazon had printed the label on July 31st, but did not have the product available for pickup until August 1st at 6:30 pm. My package was now half the country away in Chicago and not expected to be delivered until August 3rd by 8 pm.

    I called Amazon customer service next. The person there at first was very helpful and asked me to add the address of where I will be on vacation to my account, and he would have the package sent there. I spent an hour on the phone, and at the end was told that my package could not be rerouted. So now it will be delivered to an empty house where it will sit for my entire vacation instead of being on vacation with me where I need it. I asked to speak to some kind of Amazon customer retention specialist to discuss why the disconnect in communication is present. I was told that his department has NO OPTION for forwarding a customer on to talk to someone. In other words - too bad, you're out of luck! He could send my feedback, but I would not necessarily get a phone call or email from anyone. This is not acceptable to me, and getting a refund/being able to return the item does not solve the problem.

    I have been shopping online with Amazon since 2001 and have placed nearly 500 orders, many of them for dozens of items. In recent years, my number of orders has ballooned as more and more products become available - this year over 50 so far. I have noticed that the "prime" designation no longer means two days and that the delivery dates are no longer good faith estimates. This is not the first time that I have expected an order just to be disappointed at the end the night. The customer service I receive from Amazon has been steadily in decline over the past three years. There is a systemic problem here, and I can't believe that Amazon would rather lose my business than address it. But, that is exactly the response I received from customer service.

    There is NOTHING they can do. Really? I'm disappointed and will no longer purchase anything from Amazon. My prime membership is cancelled. I'm tired of receiving customer disservice. P.S. today, Amazon says my order will be delivered between August 3rd and 9th, and to contact them on the 9th for options if it isn't received. FedEx says it's out for delivery on a local truck. Talk about lost in translation!

    I can find almost anything I want on Amazon. I recently had a product that the manufacturer didn't honor their warranty. I called Amazon customer service, without a question, they refunded my money, after 9 months. You can't ask for a better company to do business with.

    I have been a loyal customer at Amazon.com for 7 years. Never complained, never asked for help, never missed a payment on the Amazon.com credit card. I have purchased thousands of dollars of stuff over the years and I have been a Amazon Prime member for all 7 years. In June, 2017, my Amazon.com account was hacked. The person who hacked it used my Amazon store card to order a $400 item. The person used my billing address, but used a different address for delivery. A state across the country from myself. I would not have known this fraudulent charge happened if it were not for UPS sending a delivery confirmation to my email address.

    I immediately contacted Amazon.com customer service and to this day I have not received any help from them. I have the invoice from Amazon.com with my name and an entirely false shipping address. Amazon has the same invoice! All I get from them is that I need to change my login password. I am outraged and do not know who to turn to. I have closed my Synchrony Bank account (Amazon.com store card) and I have spoken with them too. The bank says Amazon has to send them a credit and they will remove the charge. I have not logged in since the day I was hacked! I will not ever purchase anything from Amazon.com again! I also asked them for a refund of my Prime membership ($99) which I had just paid on June 12, 2017. Nothing has happened. I cannot believe this is happening to me. Can anyone help me? I have the emails from Amazon.com and the invoice of the fraudulent charge. Who else can I contact? Thank you very much.

    Approximately 1 month ago an Amazon delivery truck was in my apartment complex's parking lot where my car was parked. In a parking spot at that. He was careless in the way he was driving and backed right up into the front end of my 2017 Honda Accord. He did not once apologize but rather stated that he simply just did not see it. He was arrogant and displayed not a single ounce of remorse for having caused an avoidable accident. Since then, Amazon has done little in the way of helping me resolve this issue. Clearly, I need my car serviced as half of my bumper is hanging off the front end. Because this is a 3rd party driver - meaning, he is employed by a delivery company that has a contract with Amazon - Amazon corporate now states that there is nothing they can do about the situation as it does not involve them directly and we need to speak with those involved on that company's end. Fine, I can deal with that.

    EXCEPT - they are not responding as they should in this case. It took three weeks for that location to contact me. I have provided them with estimates for the work that needs to be done and they assured me that they would be expediting payment to me so that I can go about getting the car repaired. This was 1 week ago and still no payment. I work for a company that is not nearly as large or recognized as Amazon is and when we come across a situation that would leave a bad taste in a customer and/or potential customer - we are going above and beyond IMMEDIATELY to rectify whatever situation and ensure excellent customer service.

    I am embarrassed for Amazon - that they would so easily wipe their hands clean of this because it did not happen from their corporate office - yet this office brandishes your company name. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON - I am a loyal customer and will now refuse to do business with a company that takes no accountability for their actions and or those who brandish their name.

    Today I placed a order on Amazon.com. Using a Amazon gift card. Alas, when I tried to use my other gift card, I find could not complete my order. I spoke to four different representatives, all to no avail. Apparently one cannot use two different GIFT cards to pay for their order! They will gladly take your personal credit card of choice and, ONLY another Amazon gift card. Which more than likely will be more than the remaining balance. So you are force to buy a another Amazon gift card (more than likely of a greater amount) to complete your transaction, or use your credit card and please remember to delete it on your Amazon account. Because, I can guarantee, you will be arbitrarily charge for something - anything down the road! They will contact you even.

    This process has made it very uncomfortable for me and I will think twice before I shop on online again. Especially if you've been saving your gifts cards to finally buy the things on your wish list etc. I had a specific budget, and did not plan on spending more. Now I'm forced to do so. Amazon payment methods are not customer friendly and only caters to them making a extra buck! To conclude it all - my balance will remain until I can get to a store that sell them, and purchase a Amazon gift card. Indeed, I'm upset for good cause. I have to go out of my way to shop on Amazon and then put up with being talk-down-to and blatant sarcasm. I think any reasonable human can agree that this is not indicative of proper customer service to say the least.

    I have been trying to resolve this issue with Amazon.com for over a month now and I cannot get anyone to help me on the phone or email. All I get are calls from a non-native English speaking reps who tell me they can't help, but a representative will email me in 24 hours. I either do not hear anything, or I get an email that has nothing to do with what I am complaining about. Because of their decision to block my seller account- I have lost access to my audible and Kindle.

    They accused me of doing Fraudulent activities, yet I never even got to list a product or sell anything! They have no proof that I have committed any illegalities as they claim- in writing no less. I requested they reinstate my personal account or refund me ALL of my Kindle downloads, Audible account, and prime membership fee - and must give me access to my pending orders or cancel them and refund me the money.

    I have always enjoyed shopping with Amazon, but cannot believe the way I am being treated because their incompetent staff doesn't know how to read or understand a document in Spanish- and is claiming I am committing a fraudulent act and illegality- just because we wanted to sell on Amazon? That's some fabulous customer service. They won't say what the Fraud is and apparently, they do not have to tell us! I am tired of calling and writing. PLEASE end this nightmare.

    It was a second time in row that I have seen Amazon don't delivery their products on time. First time it was with my friend now with me. I have ordered a phone of worth Rs 28000/- they took time of 5 days to deliver the same. Expected delivery date was 29th of July by 08:00 pm. I was expecting that it's good amount of time to delivery a product as I have received many international products in span of max 4 days time. It surprise me that no one came till 05:00 pm of 29th July then I called at customer care for any update. They told me that "we're sure your product will get delivered by today" but what exactly happened it didn't deliver till 08:00 pm then once again I called up at same number to check the status. There was an executive by the name of Bhaskar. What an irritating person he's.

    Firstly he didn't get my data which is linked to my number and asking my email id, I told him that I have not registered with my e-mail id I have used my number for registration. Despite for getting my message he kept asking for my e-mail id for approx 7-8 times. Then I think of to speak someone else may be senior one. I asked him to transfer the call to supervisor he straight away denied that there is no such permission to transfer the call... Totally a dumb experience... It's clear that I'll never going to order anymore with Amazon. But please let me know when my order reach to me. It was my sister birthday which you all have spoiled completely.

    I've been a customer with Amazon for many years, have also spent money to join prime and spent thousands of dollars ordering for my business and personal needs. They finally upset me in the way customer service handles issues and how they treat me as well as the prime being a waste of money because they don't deliver within two days or they find an excuse not to deliver and I've made complaints to my post office as well. Nobody speaks English in customer service. They outsource to other countries who have no people skills when dealing with customers and they could care less.

    They have finally lost me as a customer and they don't care. They do nothing to solve issues or keep you happy. Well you finally lost all my business Amazon. I get deliveries 3 to 4 times a week so that tells you how much I spend. Their policies with third party also suck!!! Corporate needs to clean this place up but again such a big company and they don't care about the consumer.

    Took too long to deliver first box (ordered vitamins), was on vacation so had to cancel order. Now 2nd attempt to deliver (vitamins) and the box was delivered as promised but... I received 2 books and some locks that I have never seen or ordered in my life and the box was addressed to me. Amazon's response was, "um, oh, sorry about that". No attempt to find my package or offer a solution. Never happened to me after years of ordering so really baffled. Nice job Amazon, hope your customer service does not remain this horrible!!!

    Well, I can't comment on the product I ordered because they haven't even sent it out yet. This is my review of their shipping practices. Typically, when you are told something takes 7-10 days to get to your door, it's because it has to make numerous stops on the way, coming from far away. I just noticed on my tracking information that they intend to wait 7 days before they even ship it. I am pretty sure there will be some reason it won't be here within the 3 days. They leave themselves to fulfill their promise to get it here by then.

    I refused to sign up for their 'prime' service after reading the reviews about how their shipping time is always beyond what they promise for the extra 10 bucks a month they pilfer from you. This is the first time I noticed WHY my packages never arrive on time from Amazon. It's because they wait until the earliest day they promise it'll get to you before they send it - which means they are lying about the "7-10 day" shipping. There is no way anyone is going to get their package on the same day it is shipped, so they should just tell people 10-14 days. The 7 part of 7-10 is absolutely a lie.

    I am Amazon Prime member. I bought things all the time. Lately, the issue that is concerning me is things read Prime. When you order them arriving day is almost 5 days instead of two. When spoken to a rep they give me all this runaround but never resolve my issue. Ended up canceling them. I was told the item is not available. I went and order the item again from Amazon, I paid 1 day delivered then all of the sudden the item is available to be guaranteed delivered in one day. That proved my theory "Amazon is doing scam to their prime members."

    I have had the worst experiences with Amazon recently. They are getting worse all the time. The Marketplace sellers are not verified or vetted by Amazon. I happened to order from one who never sends anything to the correct addresses, another whose product description was so far off it was laughable, another who sent the wrong items, and others who never sent anything at all. And watch your "subscribe and save" items. While I expected the price to go up after the first order, they've been going up BEFORE the first order was shipped. So the prices I thought I was getting the items for were doubled or tripled before I even got my first order. At least I found out in time to cancel, but it's really disappointing, and I'm sure, illegal.

    On July 15, 2017 I purchased a pair of Bluetooth headphones. On July 17, 2017 my American Express card showed a hold for the total amount of my purchase. On July 21, 2017 I received an email stating that my credit card was declined. Immediately I called Amazon to find out why they were again trying to charge my credit card for an amount they had already charged my card earlier in the week. No one knew why or what was going on but I was assured that the problem would be researched and resolved. Again on July 22nd my card was charged from the headphones which was now flagged as a fraudulent charge.

    I again called and spoke to Chris who was of no use had no idea what she was talking about and tried to tell me that the bank reversed the charge which I already knew was not the case because it still was listed as on hold with my bank waiting for Amazon to take the funds. I ended the conversation with Chris and called back and spoke to Michelle who researched the order to find out that some OFS department of Amazon had canceled the order but never sent a removal to American Express. They then placed the order again and charged the card a second time. Michelle thought that she had fixed the issue but yet again today a charge was placed on my card. I have not received the product. I have not received my money back. I have nothing except an account that is $42.96 less.

    Up until recently, I had great experience with Amazon, almost everything I ordered would be there (and I buy most of my stuff online). However, lately Amazon has been screwing up every step of the way. Starting with 3-4-5 days needed to ship the order, messed up deliveries - tracking information is totally inconsistent, it may say that the item is shipped from the destination, then no updates for days, then it turns out it would be delayed for unknown period of time...

    Next, I accidentally noticed that Amazon is playing with prices depending on who you are. No kidding. I placed two orders, both deliveries were messed up (still waiting...), that's when I looked into order details and immediately noticed that prices tend to drop IMMEDIATELY after I place the order. More than that, prices are sometimes higher when I am logged in vs anonymous. I talked to their customer service - "no, we don't do profiling". Like their bozo would share corporate dirty tricks with low level employees. To make it short, from now on, I am taking my business elsewhere.

    I have been ordering items on Amazon for years with no issues, until recently my order always shipped within a day or two. Lately all my packages are delayed up to 7 days before shipping. My mother has Prime. She recently ordered a product I ordered the day after me and received her item the next day where my item was not shipped for 5 more days. These tactics to get you to subscribe to Prime are disgusting and only make me realize I no longer need to use Amazon for anything. I do all my shopping online tens of thousands of dollars a year personal and business. Fyi all my items were being fulfilled by Amazon Distribution Center 45 minutes away from me.

    I received a survey from Amazon because I placed an order. I completed the survey then was offered to purchase several different products and pay only shipping. I fell for it and ordered the face cream. I did not finish my order before my phone started to ring, people in and asking me to purchase more of this product, I said NO and I never confirmed my order.     I purchased this self-balancing scooter in Dec 2015 and didn't receive the item till January 2016. Months later the item no longer worked. I contacted Amazon and they put me in touch with the 3rd party. The 3rd party knew they had manufacturers defect with this item. They mailed me a month later the replacement parts and sent me links for the instructions. The links they sent me didn't work and the replacement parts and wiring were not matching. I asked Amazon to take the item back and because of the length of time going back and forth they said it was too late. I purchased this item not from the 3rd party and purchased it thru Amazon. This is a complicated electronic item and replacement items should not have to repair the item by the buyer.

    When trying to purchase things that I have purchased in the past, at the same address, I'm finding they have quit delivering some of those things, and they are impossible to find locally. There is no place to click and find a customer service representative. I have hearing problems, so don't do phone unless it is an emergency... Therefore e-mail is better for me. The lack of contact and the no longer shipping of products I've bought in the past are the problem. No recent order # but I did recently purchase a weed whacker and I'm happy with it, but can't get the lights or other things I've had shipped in the past. Alaska is NOT a foreign country.

    In the last month or so I have had 3 deliveries not come as guaranteed with Amazon Prime 2 day delivery. The carrier indicated they had delivered two of the items - so we searched and no delivery. Then the carrier would deliver 1-2 days later. At first I figured it was an isolated incident so I did nothing. The second time I contacted Amazon to let them know. They said all the right words and offered me one free month of Amazon Prime. This last time I paid more to get it delivered in the two days. It was available cheaper from another seller, with free shipping but would take longer to get here so I opted to pay more as we needed it before leaving on vacation. The website and the order confirmation email said it would be here in two days. The carrier then emailed us and said it was on its way - but would arrive a day later than expected. No explanation, no apology.

    I contacted Amazon and after 5 emails later I felt no-one was actually reading my emails and they sent back the best "automated" response they could find. I ended up dealing with 4 different people and no-one actually "got it." They called it an isolated incident - even though I explained it had now happened three times in a short period of time. Maybe Amazon needs to take a good look at these carriers. It would help if Amazon would set up a practice where one service rep deals with the complaints from the an individual regarding the same order so that the issue can be fully understood and dealt with.

    I'm a Prime member and Amazon has the worst shipping. First off, who wants to sit around on a Sunday for a package... really 8 pm at night? It's 9 pm and still no delivery... they do not have reliable drivers to deliver their packages. I'm at work at 5 am. There is no way I can wait for a midnight package which most likely will not be delivered today anyways. I'm starting to think that eBay, Jet and Yugster might be better ordering options at this point... at least they update the tracking to know what is going on! A very unsatisfied customer!!!

I appreciate that I can add items to my cart from any computer or location and they are there when I get back to place an order. Amazon Video is superb, so many choices.     Amazon is Amazing!! I've been a Prime member for quite some time now and I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Anyone new to the website should know, I'm praising Amazon not the other sellers that attach themselves to the website. Always ensure that you are looking at Amazon Prime options. Don't be fooled by what appears to be a lower price by other vendors. Sometimes, their S & H fees are more expensive than the product you're thinking about buying. Also, download the free Amazon app. When shopping for anything, do a quick check on Amazon for the same product. I've found that 8 out of 10 times, Amazon had a better price. The few times I've seen a better price than Amazon have been items on sale from Costco.

    As I buy tons of things from Amazon. There were 2 items that were defective. The first was a wrought iron gate which arrived all bent up. It was too heavy and cumbersome to return. I had it fixed instead at a cost of $60. (It was also the wrong color and had to be painted). Amazon never responded to my written requests for help. The second item was a vacuum cleaner (Bissell) which did not work. I wrote them 3 times and never received a response. I am disabled and could not pack that up and get it to the post office or return it in any way.

    When Amazon never responded after 3 times, friends suggested putting a complaint on their Facebook page. After a runaround, I finally got an answer to them (at first their link did not work at all) --- and then they had the gall to tell me they would do nothing because I waited too long to advise them of the problems. Their trick is to not respond until you have missed the deadline, since they won't answer your requests for resolving the issue --- until after the deadline has passed. It is consumer fraud.

    They totally ignored the fact that I had contacted them numerous times right after receiving the defective items. They just simply denied that they ever were notified. They do this trick to avoid resolving consumer problems. I am on disability and cannot afford to lose the money I spent on the vacuum and the cost of repairing the defective gate. This is really a disgusting method they have to get out of taking care of defective items. You would think they would want to keep loyal customers but they have so much volume, they couldn't care less about customers.

    So Amazon Prime looked good and decided to try out the 30 day "free" trial. No indication that it anything but free for the first 30 days. I fully understand that after 30 days they can charge a 10.99 monthly fee. Imagine my surprise when my credit card was billed the next day for 10.99. So much for free! The effort to refund the charge is not worth the 11 bucks. Imagine if this was done with 1 million customers. A classic bait and switch. Leaves me feeling like I've been conned and am willing to pay full shipping price on the regular Amazon service just so these crooks don't have access to my credit card. Disgusted that a large company can do this with no repercussions.

    I love shopping at Amazon because my kids have wish lists, and it makes things so much easier. Also I can have the gifts shipped without having to deal with the post office lines, etc. Amazon also has choices, so you don't have to have only one price on an item. Many have several choices, the gifts have always arrived on time and in excellent condition. In some cases they can be gift wrapped and have a card included.

They've made sure that I was completely satisfied and my concerns were addressed. Returns to shipping issues have been resolved always in my favor. I shop from Amazon for major purchases to dog treats. I am very pleased with the quality of their products and the service provided from Amazon. I have been a customer now for 6 months, I applied for the Amazon credit card which makes purchasing a breeze. They send emails when you purchase and when it ships. I purchased the Brooke Lewis spiderman fidget spinner for my grandson. And used the tracker to track my order. It kept showing it was almost here then dropped out of sight. I tried to contact the seller and Amazon states they are out of their platform. It's not the money. It wasn't much. It was the look on my 6 year old grandson's face when I told him that it wasn't coming. Oh I bought a different one for him. It was the principle. Thinking twice about ordering from Amazon again. Can't trust the people that sell from them. It doesn't rate 1 star but Amazon would not allow me to send this until I rated it.

    I have only once had to contact Amazon regarding a purchase that was not received. It was not the fault of Amazon, but something happened at the facility handling delivery... maybe lost or stolen. Amazon quickly credited my account in full and asked if I wanted a replacement. Any gift cards I have received are easily applied to purchases. Confirmations of orders are within seconds. I always receive items in excellent condition, aside from a couple coming from another site, selling through Amazon... but those were acceptable. Best shopping experience ever. Find things I can't find anywhere else!

    This company offers a multitude of merchandise. They pay very close attention to customer feedback regarding products. Returns of merchandise that is defective is done swiftly and without a fight. Their prices are competitive. They offer free shipping with Prime membership. They also offer other benefits with the Prime membership. I would rather have the merchandise on my front porch than go to the mall.

    I've been ordering a little more and it's worked out great and if there's any problem it gets fixed right away as it should. I've been dealing with La-Z-Boy for 5 months and it's like pulling teeth and spending a lot of money. Amazon is pretty reasonable and that's a good thing. Keep up the good work.

    Horrible delivery unless you are a Prime member. Amazon used to deliver orders in a timely manner. Now, if you are not a Prime member your order sits on the back burner until they are good and ready to ship it. They lie about the ship date and I'm pretty sure the items ordered are just sitting in a section at the warehouse marked "not a prime member" so they will take the longest time possible to get it to the customer. I've seen this multiple times and that's why I use eBay every chance I can to avoid shopping on Amazon.

    I paid Rs 499 and became a Prime Membership to get Free one-day or two day delivery. I ordered a product under prime membership on 10th July 2017 and it was under Guaranteed two day delivery which was dated 12th July 2017. On 12th July afternoon when I called the Courier Agent he says it's raining at his area and he cannot come and will deliver the next day. When I told him that am a prime member and it's under guaranteed two day delivery then he said fine he will come come and deliver the parcel by 7 pm. The address which I mentioned was of my office and 6 pm it gets closed. I thought of waiting outside my office till 7 pm but I wanted to double check with the courier guy before waiting till 7 pm. When I called him for the 2nd time I realised he had deliberately made his number not reachable. I tried calling him for next half an hour and it was not reachable.

    Then I spoke to a customer care executive "Shabnam", she escalated the issue and took the ownership of delivering the product by 8 pm and told me to wait till 8 pm. She fooled me again and I waited till 8 pm in front of my office. After reaching home I contacted another executive Mahanaz and at 9:40 pm she is promising me that the product will be delivered by 10 pm. I didn't understand what's wrong with Amazon? Is this your new way of fooling customers? First you fooled me with RS 499 prime membership and then by making me wait till 8 pm on the road??? Today on 13th July you are telling me that I will get my parcel by 15th July due to delivery in wrong courier station? This is height of cheating and fooling your customers. You guys are so inefficient. Neither your customer care executives are truthful as they over commit and make fake promises nor your delivery guys who doesn't know the benefit of prime membership.

    I bought a desk top tower and the product did not work; but the issue was resolved immediately. I did not have to pay shipping to return the item. This was a few years ago so I cannot recall the name of the company. They were willing to replace the item; but I chose to buy hands-on. I have made book purchases. No problems, returns are easy depending from whom you buy. I like that you can read reviews before buying. Amazon offers many discounts and promotion. I have not try any of them; but it does not mean that I will not; so far happy customer.

    I'm now up to 7 late deliveries on Amazon Prime in 4 months. Each time I'm told to just wait for it to show up, offered a refund or a replacement order. If we are paying $99 a year, what good is it if our orders take 3-10 days to show up. After the 7th late order, and after canceling my prime renewal, I got a refund of my order and one free month of Prime. If you are experiencing the same issues, please let your voice be heard. Otherwise we are giving these guys $100 a year for the same delivery times we can get for free on eBay, Walmart, and other sites.

    I booked Lenovo Phab2 Plus in Amazon. After 3 days product reached destination (checked in tracking option). Immediately I received msg from Amazon courier item undeliverable. Immediately I contact courier boy & said without any notification or any information how can you say undeliverable? That courier boy shouted on me & refuse to give the product. This is very bad service by Amazon courier. Later I contact customer care, they give some option like re order the product. Now they are telling out of stock of that material. "So we are refunding your amount." How worst this. Their problem but I am suffering. So I suggest don't buy from Amazon. Flipcart & Snapdeal are very fast & perfect delivers the product. So worst service. Don't buy from Amazon.

    I'm reviewing Amazon. (Funny, Amazon wouldn't approve this review) I ordered this watch with a screen protector and rose gold colored watch band. So excited. Until... I looked at my bank account. One charge went through. A second charge is being held for 3 to 5 business days for an authorization hold. So, I now have no money for 3 to 5 business days. Had to cancel an appointment today. Supposed to go take my son to the dentist on day 5, so I hope it's back in my account. Amazon said it was because I used my card as a PINless debit card. What?? I did not have an option to choose how they ran it. They said this always happens. Huh? Never happened before, so my definition of always and Amazon's definition are totally different. I called customer service, and they looked up my account without my order number. They couldn't help and were rude.

    So I called the bank, because Amazon said it was the bank. The bank said they would put the money back if I had a 3-way call with Amazon. Ok, called Amazon and gave them my phone number, you know, the one they send text alerts to. They said it was not my account. Really? Then they said they could not help me without my order number. Odd, the first customer service person must have defied physics and was able somehow to help me without the order number, or... the second one lied. Ok, on to call number 3 after I looked up the order number. I finally got a human who, after many, many, many questions told me about the pinless debit card thing and said they'd send me a form to "opt out" of using it as a pinless debit card. Really? Who would opt in to using it in a way where double the money comes out of your account?

    Two out of 3 agents were rude. Agent 3 only decided to try and help after I told them I will make it my life mission to make sure everyone knows about this pinless debit card thing so that no one else is sitting around waiting for 3-5 business days for their money to come back. All of a sudden, he was helpful, until we got disconnected. Nope, he did not try to call me back on the number on my account or the number I called from. I can't remember this ever happening before, but I generally don't buy anything over $100. The agent actually said, "It's a shame when some items have a huge price." I'd agree. The watch on Amazon is $93. When you add a band and face protector, it's $113. The watch was listed as guaranteed same day delivery, but all of a sudden, it was to be delivered a day later.

    At a store called Bargain Hunt, they have a watch for $54. Yep, half the price. So, Amazon, I'm going to be a Bargain Hunt customer. I like shopping and getting out in the real world. I also like being able to go to the store and speak with someone if I have a problem. I like nice customer service people. I like something for my trouble. I like seeing people and shopping. So....I'm ok with not doing mail order. Fingerhut is just a more expensive option than Amazon. Amazon is guaranteed to have glitches from time to time. They should also be guaranteed to be polite and do what they can to prevent them. No option for me when I updated my card information to opt out of it being used as a pinless debit card. Won't be buying things anytime soon from Amazon. I'm also cancelling Prime.

    Why pay monthly to get free delivery when I can go to the store and have it instantly for less with nicer customer service people and without some bizarre hold which causes issues for 3 to 5 days. I'm a lecturer at a university, and we don't get paid a lot, but the job is awesome. However, Amazon does not seem to appreciate teachers, because if teachers order online like everyone else, they get a 3-5 day hold which causes them to have trouble if they bought something with a "huge price" like $100. What if I had bought jewelry or furniture? Double charged temporarily on a $1000 ring would be no fun waiting for the authorization hold to come off. Yep, the bank is holding it. Yep, I know Amazon isn't. Yep, I know Amazon is why they're holding it. Yep, I know Amazon does not care. Yep, I'm going to be doing a lot more shopping in person. Look up your local Bargain Hunt. Awesome store! Awesome people!

    This is regarding the slimy marketing tactic Amazon uses to trick customers into paying for a membership upon checkout without authorizing credit card payment or confirming the subscription amount being charged. Upon checkout the prompt asking to save money by signing up for Amazon Prime pops up, when a customer clicks to save and sign up. It is expected that we will be promoters to a page that gives us the price and also confirms the credit card authorization, but instead, they never confirm or give the customer notice of the price of the subscription or the instant and automatic charge to your card. This is very deceitful and inconvenient for struggling and low-income people who were not warned about the charge and never given an opportunity to confirm the amount or the proper card to debit. There are no details provided that give the customer notice about the subscription.

    A very obvious, sneaky tactic to deceive customers out of their hard-earned money. As a single mother, full-time student, who is unemployed and living with my sick mother who has cancer, the 3-5 business days that I have to wait are a real inconvenience to me and I have to ask my sick mother who is undergoing cancer treatments for money to hold me over the next few days because of this charge. There are many other people who I'm sure are affected by this sneaky charge who have similar circumstances as mine. I told them about this when it happened to me last year, and got the same scripted, dishonest answer. They claimed that it was a mistake and they would give feedback to the programmers to improve the page. One year later and same slimy tactic is being used so all of that is discredited.

    Amazon is a pimp. They are a great place to get good products but they prostitute others for their behalf and then abuse them. Let me explain... Did you know that many of the products sold on Amazon are from other companies who own their own products and list them on Amazon? Some of those businesses ship their items to Amazon who stores them in warehouses and then ships them for the seller, charges 25% or more to do so. Let's say a product sells for $100. Amazon charges the third party seller $25 plus shipping fees over and above the low shipping rate that they charge the buyer. The 3rd party pays for the extra shipping fees out of their profit.

    Now, for a private seller like me who uses my basement to store and ship my own items, Amazon charges about 14% plus I pay the extra shipping costs not covered by the very low shipping price they automatically charge the buyer. An item I sell for $100 will yield $14 for Amazon and all they did was provide the website--no shipping, no customer server, nothing. The $5.95 shipping that they charged the customer doesn't come close to covering the actual shipping charge I had to pay of $14.90 or more.

    So, here is the problem: Amazon evaluates my sales performance based on certain metrics, or scores, such as, how quickly I respond to customer emails, how many times I cancel an order, how many returns are made from my sales, customer feedback on either the product or the service given, and more. I work very hard to provide same day shipping, instant communication with my customer questions, and the lowest price on the internet on every product I sell. I run this business out of my basement and depend on this to pay my bills. But in March I had a customer by 5 of the same item and then request to return it due to being sent the wrong product. That was my fault and I gladly offered the customer an immediate 50% refund if they wanted to keep this item which was almost identical to the one he intended to purchase OR I would give a full refund once the item was returned.

    Unfortunately, the buyer never responded back which made me think he changed his mind. I sent two emails to the customer asking what they wanted to do--keep or return--NO ANSWER. A few days later I was given a final warning by Amazon that they would take serious action if I did not provide a full refund. I immediately sent a third email to the customer who was in possession of $450 worth of the product he had bought but not returned. The customer told Amazon that I never answered any of their emails. I, on the other hand, could demonstrate to Amazon that I had never received any response from the customer as the Amazon site shows all communication between customer and seller. One day later, my privileges to sell on Amazon were suspended, pending an appeal by me with a plan to remedy the problem.

    Not only did I explain that the terrible metric score for too many returns was due to five of the same product by the same customer at the same time, but that there obviously is a problem with the system because neither of us is getting emails from the other. That was March 28. It is July 11 and after hours of speaking with NON-ENGLISH speaking customer services reps who use American names like Nancy and David yet can't understand me nor I them, there is no communication from Amazon. I have lost several thousands of dollars in lost sales due to hundreds of items of inventory sitting in my basement without sales. I have spent countless hours on the phone, writing emails.

    They NEVER respond, never follow through on their promises and NO ONE KNOWS how BAD they really are because MILLIONS buy products that belong to someone else, are shipped by other people, and Amazon makes billions. I used to LOVE Amazon for getting my products in front of thousands of potential buyers, but once the seller--nameless, faceless, voiceless--has a problem Amazon is invisible and uncaring.

    If I had a lot of money, I would take an ad out on Super Bowl night and tell everyone how bad Amazon is at abusing people like me. I would want the world to know that we need a voice against this abusive type behavior that squashes the little guy and ignores their pleas. Ironically, Amazon last year made about $7,000 in seller fees from me. This year, they have made about $300. I sell on eBay with PERFECT 100% feedback with 761 feedbacks since 2002. eBay makes about $1,500 per year from me and I have NEVER had a problem with selling with them. If Jeff Bezos and his megalith company actually cared about their sellers they would develop a way to listen. Of course they have the technology but they simply don't care.

    So basically I'm reviewing Amazon on here because Amazon is like a tediously frustrating coworker, in that it's basically impossible to give it any kind of constructive feedback at all. I bought several items at once, a couple (almost a few) weeks ago! I was lured in by the prospect of 'free shipping'. Unsurprisingly, shipping was not free–as I live in Australia. Although I should mention that I was certainly surprised by the excessive cost of it all. Nevertheless, I proceeded with my purchase–the allure of cheap goods was too much for my feeble mind to resist. I was frustrated, however, when my consignment was split into three separate packages–and I was told that it could take up to three weeks to deliver my goods. Again I persisted with my purchase, thinking 'surely that's just for safety. No postage takes that long...' The first package arrived within a week. The second about a week later.

    And now I'm frustrated, because it's coming up on three weeks, and I'm still waiting for my final package. The frustrating part? Two of my items shipped out of the same airport. One landed two days later. This third package has been scanned as departed, but that scan was a week ago and I'm still waiting! How can one item take two days, but the other takes a week... out of the same airport?! For a company as large as Amazon, I'm really expecting either a better or cheaper service. The current standard cannot possibly be justified. Oh and as a side note–my second item was a tie. A single, neck tie. I've literally had laptops delivered in smaller packaging. I couldn't believe my eyes when I received a large box for a single... damn... tie. Why Amazon, why? To remind us of the deforestation occurring in your namesake? So unnecessarily wasteful!

    I tried to become a seller on Amazon. According to Amazon own policy, they claim they will not charge the new applicant bank account until the applicant is approved to sell on their platform. They went ahead charged me $39.99 immediately while I wasn't approved. When I contacted them, they quickly approved me and then within hours suspended my application. When I pressed them why, they sent me a list of unrealistic items to provide to get approved.

    These people don't even know the basics of business organization. For instance, as a sole proprietor of my LLC, I can legally use my SSN and personal bank account to conduct business. It was futile to explain that to them because I kept on receiving the same automated response asking me to provide a list of documents that don't pertain to my type of business classification. Even after I expressed my desire to totally cancel my application, they kept on sending me the same list of requests ignoring my demand. I think that Amazon is purposely doing this to swindle $39.99 from applicants, "free money" for absolutely nothing, i.e. an automated scam. Beware new sellers!

    When I first signed on to Amazon I was very excited about the products that they sold. I even signed up for Amazon Prime because I thought it was helpful to get the free shipping. For the past year I have made purchases of different clothing items which are almost always shipped mainly from China and their products are almost always bad or cheap material, poorly made, and cut at least two sizes too small. This is deeply concerning for me being an American who shops and wears American sizes. I would prefer to buy American based products and purchase clothing that is fit American style.

    Then when I try to return it the company will never offer a full refund but a 30% refund with me paying the shipping when my Amazon Prime shipped it to me for free. I honestly don't mind paying return shipping but at least give me the full refund. This is very disappointing. I will be cancelling my Amazon Prime membership and I am strongly considering boycotting Amazon altogether. If you are an American based company you should at least sell products that are sold in the United States.

    Just be careful when using third party sellers. Their warranties are not as good as purchases made from amazon. Be certain to read all warranty info from third parties, the A-Z investigation isn't always what it seems.

    I have bought many many things from Amazon.com. I live very rural and it is so convenient to have whatever I need to be delivered to my door. Sometimes within 1 day. I have bought everything from toilet paper to bookcases and pet products. I will definitely continue to shop at Amazon!!

    I love shopping on Amazon!! I have Amazon Prime so there is always 2 day shipping for free. The variety of products available is extraordinary. I have never had any problems with the app which is a great thing. I did all of my Christmas shopping at Amazon and am not likely to return to in-store shopping much anymore!!

    Amazon has always had any product I am looking for and usually other matching products. I especially like the choice of buying new or used. The descriptions give me the info I need to make the right decision. I have not had a bad experience. Make sure you look at all the suggestions to find your best value. I have also always received my purchases promptly. Amazon is the first place I look when buying online.

    I love everything about Amazon! I am a 73 year old handicapped widow. I appreciate having a simple easy internet site that meets nearly all my needs without having to travel 50 miles plus to obtain needed items for household and personal needs! Prices are good, products are of high quality and Prime shipping is wonderful. The Prime movies and TV shows are worth more than the Prime membership. I love the way everything is set up when searching for programs. I download music for free plus the 2 day free shipping. Amazon is my go to site when I am looking for products. Love to walk onto front porch in my night gown and bring my packages inside!

    Usually I love Amazon. But their tech support is dismal. I bought a Echo Dot, and wanted to link it to the existing Spotify account in the house. They couldn't get their head around this, and we spent a long time dealing with whom the account is registered under. End result - I still can't connect. And they claimed they "helped" me.

    I like that you can find a large variety of products on Amazon.com and that the desired items can be found at a multitude of different prices. I have always been able to find the products I have been looking for, and at reasonable prices too. But I dislike how sometimes purchased items take much longer to arrive at my house than they were supposed to. Also, I have heard of people getting scammed through Amazon, and not receiving the advertised products. But overall, my experience using Amazon was quite positive!

    My grandchildren and I love the hammock. Buying it from Amazon was easy. It was also delivered fast. All parts were there and assembly was easy. It was one of the best buy!!! It hangs well, doesn't hold leaves that falls from the tree and it folds up into itself which is a very nice feature.

    I'm a Amazon Prime member, but prior to that I received excellent service. I upgraded because of the great benefits of a Prime account. It's more than paid for itself. Customer service via email and phone has been good. Shipping always on time as promised. Returns credited immediately. I can find almost anything I need on Amazon. I check there first. Couldn't be happier.
