I usually find what I need and it is super easy to search. Much better than running around in a brick and mortar establishment trying to find what is wanted or needed. Returning is effortless in 9 out of 10 times, just notify seller and print return label, it’s that simple.

I like the fact that I have so many choices and also that I can get my products shipped so quickly. I absolutely love the free shipping. Also you can send presents and not send the receipt. I had to return some items and it was absolutely no problem. Amazon makes shopping fun and fast. I will definitely continue to use Amazon.

Amazon has an independent delivery service, you have to hope you get your packages on time. In my case the tracking showed out for delivery, but was not even on the truck.

We ran into a problem with porch thieves. We reordered and the shipment went to a lockbox. Again the package had been opened but this time, the goods were still there. Clearly someone had opened it to steal something and changed their mind. I think there is an organized crime side to Amazon shippers. Amazon were good about it, I was not charged for the stolen goods and the police were involved. The word diamond was on the invoice. Industrial diamond, the thieves pry did not understand that part. Amazon backup was excellent.

I used to think Amazon was a great place for discounts but now I'm finding there are an awful lot of knock offs or misleading information. You're playing Russian roulette when purchasing an item from Amazon. I don't trust buying things like shampoo anymore, who knows what's REALLY in the bottles. I've received broken, half of order or fakes so often that I feel it's only safe to buy a book maybe.

Amazon was cheaper on **, than Costco, just went to store, I'll get the box Monday. Another item was nasal spray, Kirkland brand, they didn't have it in the store -got it at Amazon again, delivery Monday.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for years. Never had an issue until about a month ago when they refused to allow me to post feedback on sellers I purchased from. At first I thought it was a computer glitch. I called customer service and found out they deliberately discriminated against me. When I questioned further they said I accepted graft/gratuities from sellers to post false positive feedback about a product. When I further questioned I was stonewalled stating their decision was final. I to this day do not know who what where or when this Lie against me was perpetrated. I wrote the CEO still no answer. I feel they are violating several of my constitutional rights (freedom of speech and due process) and I am considering starting an action against them.

I enjoyed my whole experience shopping on Amazon except one thing. I noticed concerning the sell of "HP 635" accessories. I noticed companies would intentionally provide false information in their product descriptions to increase sells on components such as power cords, batteries, and laptop replacement screens.

It was difficult today, in fact I never figured out, how to take advantage of a 30% off promotion by purchasing a qty of 3 items. The item I ordered, the seller would only let you buy 2 and I couldn’t figure out what other items would qualify if any. I’ve had this happen several times. I appreciate most things about Amazon but this feature needs to be clearer.

As a senior shopping on Amazon make like so much easier! This is true of larger items, Deliver to the door, and I don't have to load, unload my car. If something needs to be returned I can call UPS and they pickup. Easy peasy!

My $99 air spray makeup kit arrived already opened. The round tape seal was cut open. It was in the actual box it comes in when you walk in a store and buy it off the store shelf. The personal "delivery van" looked like my neighbor's daughter's van.

I have been a Amazon Prime customer for several months now. I have seen a decline in the quality of their service including products arriving in poor condition with the packaging completely torn up and missed delivery dates. I recently preordered an item and then later received an email stating there was a delay in my order. When clicking on the item page, the item was listed as "in stock." I contacted customer service asking why my item did not ship but is listed as in stock. They sent me a long email talking about their shipping process but never answered my question. They gave me the option to cancel my order but never gave me an estimated delivery date. I emailed customer service again and was direct in stating Amazon did not answer my question and that I need an estimated delivery date in order to make an informed decision if I need to cancel my purchase or not; as suggested my customer service themselves.
Amazon replied stating they had no additional information to share. They then gave me an estimated delivery date about one month later. I canceled the order because of the timeframe they provided and noted the item was no longer listed as in stock online. However a few days later the item was again in stock despite being told by customer service my item would not be available until several weeks later. I was very frustrated. Amazon is very inconsistent. They have offered me refunds then charged me again. They have offered me credit towards a future purchase however the credit was never put into my account. I have canceled my Prime as result of all of my recent issues with Amazon and will second guess all future purchases.

I was a huge Amazon fan for a number of years and have ordered thousands of dollars worth of product in the past. I even recently signed up as a vendor. Was trying to log into my account one day and the two-step verification was sending a code to my old cell phone (I'd recently moved and hadn't changed it with Amazon yet). Many emails and several phone calls later, after going around and around in circles and spending hours on what should have been a simple fix on their end, they didn't follow through on the last phone call they promised from an "Account Specialist." That was the last straw. I handed them their walking papers, so to speak.
The Amazon experience used to be such a good one but now they dump packages on your doorstep and their customer "service" is horrendous. A friend mentioned she was thinking about getting Prime and I told her to run away, far and fast, so she did not. Reading all these reviews I think I served my friend well. In my opinion, Amazon got too big and lost sight of Jeff Bezos' original vision of the "customer experience."

I wonder if Amazon and other companies like it really did help with the demise of Toys and Babies"R"Us. Can online shopping really be replacing the local stores? I have a son who is incarcerated and books are a positive way to pass the time. Amazon not only made it simple to order and delivered to his prison but they have a great used book inventory with new or older books at amazing prices.

I started shopping with Amazon around 5 years ago, and I didn’t join Prime immediately. I wanted to try the experience first. It took a few months and then I joined and I haven’t quit. They have been a wonderful company to deal with. They have taken care of me in many ways. One way they helped was I purchased a pair of speakers for a gift and I purchased the wrong ones, and I didn’t notice that there was no returns on this item. I called them and they told me they would deduct the charge and to keep the speakers. When a few of my Prime items didn’t arrive on time they gave me a few months of free Prime. I think a lot of brick and mortar stores should follow a lot of Amazon's procedures that would keep the customers coming.

I prefer to shop on Amazon.com more than I would say eBay. Products are easier to find and a little cheaper. If have Amazon Prime I get two day shipping. And if I ever have to return item or it gets lost in the mail Amazon is real fast to either get me the product or my money back. I have never had a problem with their customer service.

Trusted to get the right part but got the wrong part which was cheaper than the part I ordered and not as good. Would not refund the "over" pay for the wrong part unless I sent it back. It was a heavy part and would have cost a lot for the postage. So had to keep it and lose my money.

I love Amazon, but what I don't love is when something you order regularly goes off of Prime and then is sold by third-party vendors. The price suddenly triples or quadruples to an exorbitant price. Also some of the vendors they use lose packages, or deliver to the wrong places.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for over 10 years and for most part I have been very happy with their services. However for past year, Amazon have been using Amazon logistics for most of their deliveries. This company is nothing short of a nightmare, even though I am a Prime member, they NEVER deliver products on time (usually 2-3 days late), for every single delivery, I have to call them and spend 30-40 min on the phone to locate a package. Or simply the driver lies about delivering a package. Amazon logistics is incompetent, and it seems Amazon customer services cannot help you with their own delivery problems. As the result of this, I am going to stop ordering from Amazon until they resolve this issue.

For over a year now, we have put up with Amazon's inability to keep its Prime promise and deliver according to their stated delivery date (after shipped and confirmed in emails they send). When you call to register complaint of non-delivery, they make excuses and expect the customer to wait. Don't think so! I order a product, they take my money, they owe me the product. Instead of resolving the problem, they blame the carrier or throw refund or Prime extension and THEN they tell you to 'reorder'.
Why would I reorder when they failed to deliver multiple times. How about just complying with the law and deliver. No ethics, just push people around because no one will sue them and keep them in line. Unacceptable! Their reps are incompetent, cannot listen, are rude (they ask you a question and never allow the answer- they always interrupt as if THEIR time if more valuable). NOT!! At one time they actually followed through with their 'customer centric satisfaction' mission. Now, they don't give a **! Investigate, reprimand, Fine Amazon.

Anything you want you can find in with Amazon Prime. In two-three days in rural America you have it at your doorstep. If you change your mind you can return it and refund is not questioned and very quick. Lots of reviews posted, so very seldom do I return anything.

Amazon carries most of what a everyday customer is looking for except for certain foods. Most of the products they have is what you would buy out of the store but they also have customer view of the products they have purchased. The best one to look at is to look at the lowest stars. They give honest views. Look at what you are buying with those views and you know if you are getting what you expect to get. If the product have Amazon best buy does not mean it's the best.

Charging customers without their consent $100 plus tax for PRIME when buying a fifteen dollar item is highway robbery. My bank removes this fee and I will no longer purchase anything at Amazon.

I have to say for the most part I’ve always been very happy with my purchases through Amazon.com. The ease of returns is definitely what brings me back to the site. I do most of my Christmas shopping online at Amazon.com. Amazon Prime offers free shipping which is definitely helpful and with the money. I like that I can order on Amazon and ship to a friend or family member at another address. All in all I’d say the experience has been very good. However, I do stay away from their food shopping because you have to join a club in order to get the prices. I find that if you don’t join the club the prices are pretty expensive and definitely not a bargain.

When I place an order on Amazon, they send an email out ASAP. So I can check to see if I need to change my order. Then when my order is ready to ship they send another email confirming it. I receive emails and texts that track my shipment at any time and when my order is on the way to be delivered Amazon tells me when it will be at my home. Amazon gives the best prices and the best follow-up of any online site.

In my last 14 orders, 9 of them were late. I was offered a one-time deal of an extra month added to my Prime account. Their position is they shipped it out next day. My position is that I don't contract with the shipping carrier, they do. I don't offer Guaranteed Delivery, they do. I have just given up. Took my Amazon Wish List and was able to find most of the items on it through Walmart with comparable prices so I have switched to Walmart for now. I know others experience the same problem. At the very least I think they should have to stop falsely advertising Guaranteed Delivery dates since they cannot reasonably fulfill that promise.

I am an Amazon Prime member and whenever they use USPS as the carrier my shipment is sent to a post office and not my home. The Amazon tracking says it was delivered to my home but it was not. This has happened for my last 20 orders and I have tried to resolve this with Amazon but it seems hopeless. Before when my orders were shipped with UPS, FedEx or OnTrac I never had a problem and shipments were delivered to my home. I am retired and seldom drive. Recently I had surgery and it's very hard to get around. When my shipments are sent to a post office I have to find a way to get there and then I have to wait in a long line. I can not do this anymore. I wish Amazon would go back to home deliveries with UPS, FedEx or OnTrac.

The only thing I don't like about Amazon is that every small food item is an add-on. I can't get to the store. I need to order my food. Maybe I just want some M&M's or a bag of chips. Also Amazon Fresh has a subscription fee for Prime members. Don't we pay enough? I won't use it for that reason.

Amazon provides easy ordering and quick delivery. Products are usually name brand so comparable to products available locally. One of the greatest benefits for shopping from Amazon is that you can find just about anything you want. But the one caution is to check prices as Amazon is not always the best price.

The main problem with buying online is clothes and shoes sizes, they vary so much even with the same brand. The reviews are very helpful in this regard and Amazon is usually easy to do returns but you have to read the return policies. Sometimes it costs and the cost is more than the item cost.

In the many years I have dealt with Amazon, I have only had two problems. In one instance, a vendor sent me the wrong item. In the second instance, the shipper sent my large screen TV to the wrong end of the state and it did not get here when I needed it. In both cases, Amazon handled the refunds promptly and courteously. Outside of that, they've been exceptionally good.

The main beef I have at this point is the habit of Amazon to keep your credit open for their use. I subscribe to Prime and nothing else. They have charged me for apps I don't use or want to pay for. My advice just assume you will be overcharged by Amazon and adopt a no open card policy, Amazon must get my approval prior to payment. And if they charge me for something I did not order they can argue with my bank.

I did that, within 7+ hours, and then the outrageous shipping showed on my bank account. This has happened numerous times and to many friends also. I called and explained and the chat operator said she would issue a ONE TIME refund. Not good... I consider this a "Bait and Switch" scam and wonder how many others this has happened to.

Ordered 4 carry-on travel bags, that were listed as brand new. NOTHING indicated they'd ship directly from manufacturer (which of course is crap made in China). Ordered in what should've been plenty of time to arrive, prior to trip they were needed for. Shipping took 4x longer than stated, finally arrived but was shorted 2 of the bags. One was definitely used and in poor condition. Amazon does not assist in dealing with these vendors they find. And the vendor did not have staff that had any kind of ability to communicate in English.

I have been ordering from Amazon for many years. I have Prime which makes ordering & delivery simple. Whatever I order & whenever, item(s) are delivered promptly in 2 days. There are few items that do not fall under Prime or are being sold by an outside vendor so it might take a couple extra days. They send an email when order has been received, when order has shipped & when order has been delivered.
In their email you can also track your order. Returns & exchanges are simple & prompt and always followed up by an email from them asking for assurance that process went well. Prices are good & comparable to store prices & sometimes lower. They have markdowns & sales. Amazon has made shopping for me so much easier. It beats going around from store to store trying to find an item I am looking for and go home empty-handed. Browsing online is definitely the way to go.

Shipment of hair product April 20, 2018 - I received a package today that I ordered for my son and it was thrown on my porch like they were tossing a newspaper, no one ever rang the doorbell or even put inside my door. The ordering was easy. But the actual product is still a mystery. I was guarantee a workman to come to my house to assemble the headboard. I paid extra for the assembly. When the headboard arrived I called the number for the man. He refused to come. After much back & forth the headboard is still laying in the middle of my room unassembled. I don't remember getting a refund. If my arthritic body couldn't put it together then, it surely can't now!

Like another reviewer on this site, I’ve come to learn that there may be a lot of reviews that people don’t see because Amazon screens them. My positive reviews are usually always posted within minutes, but as soon as I write a negative review, it suddenly violates somebody’s rule and cannot be posted. All of my reviews are written in the same format, and I give detailed information. I use proper punctuation and no foul language. However, Amazon always find a reason not to post them without ever telling exactly why. They just send a generic message in response to my negative reviews as to why the reviews cannot be posted. I will not be renewing my Prime membership as a result.

Time & time again when an item is out for delivery with Amazon's delivery service, versus UPS, FedEx or USPS, the items show as delivered when they are not. Contacting customer service does not help at all as they are "reading" from a script rather than trying to resolve any issue.

As a 3rd party seller I'm forced regularly to accept returns even when Amazon wouldn't accept them based on their policy. The emails I receive are threatening me that they will charge my account anyway even after I point out their policy. The items I'm selling are expensive electronics with a much lower resale price as used. Meanwhile I have to cover my loses myself. Since I'm paying Amazon insane fees shouldn't I have rights as a customer too? Amazon policy for returns of computer part and electronics is 30 days "after purchase".

Amazon.co.uk is a fraud. Hello, People, help me, I feel very frustrated with Amazon. I opened an account, didn't realized that I chosen a business selling profile with monthly billing, and attached my bank account and bank card. Next, I tried to provide all documents, but didn't passed of course. They were unable to verify my account and didn't activated my seller account, but they started to bill me each month. First frustration came, when I was unable to remove my bank card. How is that possible? (It is a trap.) I tried to switch to Individual, but I was unable to do that, each time they sent me a notification that I must choose proper Entity (Felt like they push me to choose Business and not Individual).
It took a long time with their poor support to finally switch it. But, even after switching to Individual, unfortunately, they don't refund my money back. I asked them to close my account and return my money back, but this time they require to verify me as Individual, and also they can't verify me, because they require documents that I don't have, because I live on an address where all bills come to the house owner, not me. They don't accept my ID document with address proof. I feel like I am trapped with them. I need them just to close this account and return my money back. The most unfair question that comes to my mind, Why they don't first verify an account, activate it, and then bill that account for services they provide?
If they can't verify an account and as a result, are not providing services, then they should not bill that account. It's stupid and it is not correct to bill someone for something that he/she is unable to use. Also, it is not correct to entrap your bank account and card, and you to not be able to remove it. I wonder how they quickly approve your bank account and bill it, but don't approve your Identity. Please, people, suggest what to do, because I don't get proper support from them.

I set-up an Amazon payments shopper account on 3/22/2018, my e-mail was verified, my bank account was verified, and a message stated that my identity was being verified and that it would take up to 24 hours. It is now 4/15/2018, I contacted representatives eight times, I have been told that they are sending a message to Technical and to wait 1-2 days. So, for some reason I am being refused service, I canceled my Amazon Prime account, I was going to replace my Fire TV Stick, but I will be going with a competitor.

I published several books last year with Kindle Self Publishing. Amazon had not upheld the author agreement in various ways. Firstly my books weren't listed on the website when first published and were therefore did not appear in the "released in last 30 days category" and were therefore unsearchable. This was explained away as a being due to a technical error that was supposedly being fixed. Then of the 8 months they have been published - royalties were only paid on 2-3 occasions. Though those titles are listed as bestselling on my author page. And despite the fact that one had been consistently rated in the top 2000. And despite a graph indicating continuity in paid sales whereby they offered an inadequate explanation for this discrepancy.
Furthermore, they have uploaded the incorrect manuscripts on the product page despite proof that I provided the correct one. They attempted to explain this away as being due to formatting issues when the format on any of my books has not changed in the last year (on any of the books - including the most recent one where limited royalties have been paid) and despite the fact that they have a review process which could flag this up before it ever reached publication stage. Yet no mention was made of such issues in the last year of all the books being published. Further to this they stopped ranking the book so that the ranking would no longer affect the paid sales I am owed. Lastly, on several occasions they also changed the prices of my book without my consent and then tried to lie about this by saying it was due to currency changes despite the fact that the screenshot I sent showed the website as being Amazon.com and the books were listed in dollars.

I will never order from Amazon ever again. I signed up for fulfillment by Amazon thinking I could use it to sell my used books with the shipping/packing on their end. Nothing in the signup process said there are books requiring special permission to sell. I paid the $39.99 online to register for FBA, Amazon charged me $39.99 twice. Amazon said I could not be refunded their overcharge until 13 days later when I called their customer service. Their customer service reps emailed me saying I would get refund in 3-5 days. When trying to list my used books to sell (some of which are $30-60 out of print books from 2003-2008) their seller central site said I did not have authorization to sell my used books (which have been in a closet since I bought them at used book stores).
The site also would not let me list items for FBA making them only fulfilled by seller, worse after trying to make listings my account showed no item listings for sale. I called customer service several times to close my seller account since I never received the FBA service that was promised. Customer service kept making excuses not to close account saying my refund would take 90 days, and they kept saying different dates of 3-5 days to 13-14 days for an electronic refund. I told them to close the seller account and that I will not sell on their site due to these problems. They said over the phone the seller account is closed. However they have not sent an email verifying that and I am getting emails from Amazon saying that the items I could not list have now sold and that I should ship them.
I am not selling or shipping any items or accepting money for items sold due to Amazon's customer service saying my account is closed and not to log into it anymore. In the meantime I have been working with my bank to freeze my account and file a dispute. This nightmare has been with Seller Support through the Amazon Catalog team.

Just recently had an order delivered from Amazon by their new Amazon service and the deliverer decided instead of leaving it at my door, they decided to leave it at another location the driver thought was a "safe place" as in according to Amazon's delivery supervisor because of recent packages being stolen. Not only did I not get my package but I had to go walk down to the "safe place" to find out it wasn't there either. This would have never happened if Amazon just stuck with the USPS or UPS.

While Amazon's new Subscribe and Save program looks enticing and could save you money it is far from easy to use. It took me hours to scroll through and find eligible products even though they supposedly offer a specific subscribe and save search engine. And also wanting different baby foods each month was a ton of time to figure out how to set it up that way. It often will not let you add to your order even though it tells you you can and even if you're before the date they list as the last day to modify or add to the order it will just start a new subscription which then of course makes you order at least 5 products again to get the maximum discount even though you may have already met that requirement in the order you created.
I've had an entire months subscription order disappear with no explanation as to why and no notification from Amazon to me that it was canceled or changed. I have called customer service more than 7 times with issues listed above and more and have not received any solution to the problems and even when it created the new order causing me to miss the discount I should have been receiving and for products to be delivered a week or more after the order I had expected to receive all they could do was tell me they didn't know why it happened, couldn't fix it, and their solution was to offer me a $20 gift card which is worth far less than the savings that I would have received on the order.
So if you're looking to save money and streamline your errands as a busy new mom subscribe and save seems like it COULD be a good way to do that but after a closer look it's simply a big hassle and isn't reliable. Also they tell you it will be billed on the date you've selected for shipping which is not true. They ship at will any time within a week before or after your selected shipping date so if you're budget billing beware. Simply put I'm irritated and don't have what I need for my son... Subscribe and save... Not worth it.

I purchased a BRAND NEW comforter, it was sent like someone else returned it completer with bugs, which I will upload pics! I started from 9:30 am to get help by 2 pm. They treat customers like garbage as well! They don't even care to explain why an item was sent in this fashion? The comforter had cat hair all over it. You can see it before it was even unpackaged??? Look at the photos. It's bugs. My house is spotless, Amazon you are disgusting to send a paying customer a comforter in this manner especially when it was almost 100 dollars! Never again Amazon and your customer service, is a joke, I will be getting rid of my Amazon credit card and the account.

I don't know what happened to Amazon but they lost my business for sure. I purchased a Kreg router table top for my boyfriend using his card on my Amazon Prime Account. Got a confirmation saying everything went through. Then 2 days later, the day we were supposed to receive the table, I get an Email. "We are sorry but your payment didn't go through." What???? So I call and the lady says the payment in the amount of $________ wouldn't go through. I said, "Hold on. It was only supposed to be $________." "Oh we charged the card this amount too for your Amazon music subscription."
I was furious for one I had just signed up for that two weeks prior with my card, and it specifically said 3 month Free trial. After that you are charged the monthly fee. The lady on the phone said, "I will give you $10 Amazon credit, you can use next time you shop." It was a nice gesture but I still wasn't happy. When I went to use the credit it was hard to even find anything to use it on.
Three days later we finally got the table from Amazon. Reluctant to use Amazon again, my boyfriend wanted a set of Dado blades be and they were cheapest on Amazon. We again used his card and ordered the new set of blades. We received them three days later. First thing we noticed was the blades were already used. On top of that the product was poorly made and chewed the wood up. I started the return process and mailed the blade off. It took Amazon 16 days to process the return. That is totally unacceptable. On top of that they told me my return amount would be $126.04 and my refunded amount was $63.01. After calling and getting nowhere I cancelled my account and am done with them. I guess the more they grew the worse they became.

Computer monitor ordered on a Friday with a stated delivery date the next day, Saturday. No delivery. Told the delivery would be Monday. No delivery. Told the delivery would be Wednesday. No delivery--for the third time. When I elected the option to cancel, I was told that I couldn't cancel and that I would be advised when my order shipped and when I would receive it. I relied upon the date that AMAZON gave me, i.e., it was not a date that I had any part in selecting, and that date/information as given by Amazon was wrong 3 times. It's absolutely absurd that they should not allow an unconditional cancellation when they gave me an incorrect date THREE TIMES and STILL cannot give me a date (based upon my experience so far, why would I believe them even if they DID give me a new date).
So, as a result of Amazon's failure to deliver as promised, the customer--if he chooses to buy the product elsewhere--is placed in the position of having to deal with the nuisance of not accepting the product if it's subsequently delivered, and hoping that the cost is promptly credited to his account as the charge is assessed at the time of shipment. This is unreasonable and awful customer service. Who would buy a product from a seller if the seller was unable to give a date of delivery which could be relied upon by the buyer? Had I not been mislead by Amazon's information, I simply would have bought the monitor from Best Buy, Fry's, or from the manufacturer of the monitor on its own site. Sure glad I'm an Amazon Prime member. And, from here on out, Amazon will NOT be my 'default retailer'.

Order did not reach and I was in tension since my daughter exam book order was placed but not delivered since 20 days now. But it is very difficult to contact customer service and customer service is useless and without answering the query they will leave the chat half away and disconnect. Pratima and Ammanna both could not answer my query and there is none responsible for our order. They take money but not bothered whether we receive order or not.

I like shopping on Amazon just fine, long as the packages are not delivered by AMZL_US, which is Amazon's own delivery service. AMZL_US is really lousy. It lost my packages quite a few times now. And they keep delivering our neighbor's package to us, no matter how many time we've corrected them (despite the obvious door sign) and made official complaints to Amazon. Sometimes, because of the package losses, the 2 day shipping end up becoming 2 week shipping because of replacement. AMZL_US is really jeopardizing Amazon's overall quality, yet there doesn't seem to be any improvement.

I returned an antivirus that I didn’t end up using. Brand new, untouched, and in a timely manner. I was told the restocking fee was noted on this item so instead of $20 I got a dollar back. I told her the time of sale it was not clear the restocking fee if the item was untouched and brand new. I didn’t want to waste my life arguing and just told her I would never purchase again from a company with so sneaky ways to keep your money and the item you return. How is this even legal? And there’s still people who play their game and buy Amazon. A lot of time on their hands I guess. Never again.

I have been a loyal and happy Amazon Prime customer for years. Fast shipping used to make the fee for Prime worth it. Not anymore. In the past year, I've had "guaranteed shipping dates" moved to days later. Or it is "out for delivery" the whole day only to be changed to "undeliverable" until the next day. Several times "undeliverable" meant that the guy who was delivering to my neighborhood got tired and lazy and called it a day. Never due to any weather-related or signature needed type of issue. When you call "customer service" they are completely unhelpful. Sympathetic yes, but unhelpful. I have tried to be understanding and patient, but this is just happening too many times to be reliable and I can't justify paying for the service anymore. Ending my business with them today.

I bought a Amazon Fire Tablet from Amazon for my disabled brother. While I was setting it up, I have to put in his debit card number. I called Amazon to make sure they would not charge him for Amazon Prime as he is on a fixed income and cannot afford it. They said they would not charge him. Today they charged him $104 for Amazon Prime and refunded it but it will not go back to him for 10-14 business days. He has no money to eat until then. They said they were wrong to charge him without his permission and would give him $5 compensation. I am mad. They will not help us any further.

Amazon drivers lazy and worthless! I live at an apartment community that doesn't accept packages and have several items of mine left by the mailboxes which is are exterior where someone could steal them and only got them because of honest people that live there. It frustrates me that I pay for items to be shipped and DELIVERED to me and the delivered is not being done. I understand most communities take them but if one doesn't you should be bringing them to the doors. I will not waste my money on Amazon anymore as there is no guarantee I will get what I paid for!

So I placed an order with PF Chang’s through Amazon Prime Now and when my delivery lady got here she called so I headed downstairs. By the time the two minutes that it took me to get downstairs I get a text that she canceled — I called customer service and they promised me a new meal free of charge because I told them I was going to write a bad review online. — An hour later same lady shows up that left me before with the same meal all soggy and not very warm and this morning I checked my bank account and they charged me for it. I filed a complaint with my bank of course but I won’t have those funds for up to 10 days! It’s like are you trying to pull on on me?? Because I fight back!! So much effort!!

I have been an Amazon customer for many years, and have had no major issues until now. I went to their site this morning in order to make a payment. I had a problem signing in, and it took me quite awhile to get to the site. I was very careful to choose the correct spot to select the payment amount. However, when the site confirmed the amount, it chose the whole balance instead of the payment I selected. When I tried to cancel the payment, it informed me that I would have to contact the service center, which I immediately did. I explained the situation, and was told it could not be canceled on their end, and I would have to contact my bank.
When I called the bank, I was told that a debit card transaction could not be canceled, and I would have to wait for it to clear and I would then have to call the company to reimburse my money. I was also told that the company could call, fax, or write them with the info, and they could then help me. Of course, Amazon/Chase refused. (I talked to about SIX people there, many of whom I had trouble understanding). I then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to a U.S. rep with whom I could more easily understand. He said he would send me a letter, but it would probably not get to me in time to help. I cannot understand why there are no safeguards on situations like this. It causes me pause when I use my debit card. This could have been my other Amazon card where my balance is HIGH. I could have been left with little money to pay more bills or even groceries. This almost makes me want to go back to checks.

Having call centers in foreign countries has ruined Amazon’s customer service. I have had to spend hours on the phone to try to solve something and nothing gets done. I get passed around to several people & have even been hanged up on. Amazon is not standing by promises even though I have written emails to prove my position. I have used Amazon for a long time & place a lot of orders & I can’t stand dealing with their customer service overseas any longer.

When trying to solve an issue you spend all of your time speaking to someone who may or may not understand what you are saying and who you may or may not understand. If the issue requires research on Amazon's part you end up dealing with a new person every time you have to respond to an inquiry. It is very annoying. When I purchased the item it did not say it was not returnable, but when I tried to return the item it said it was. That is not something you want to find out after you purchase an item.

I've decided to end my business with Amazon, and it's worth noting that I gave them many opportunities to fix the problems I've had with them. Way too many times, more than I can count, I've had to speak with customer service in chat and on the phone. Because the employees speak little English, it is a constant battle of repeating myself over and over just so they can understand why I'm contacting them. Always, they get the wrong information and I have to connect with at least 2 more reps to just get them to hear, listen, and figure out why I'm contacting them.
I've been lied to, far far far too many times about when orders would be shipped, when I can expect a refund for the many orders I've received that arrived damaged (packed broken, not during delivery), and having to continuously expect their rules for protocol. I hear how very sorry they are for what they call an inconvenience, when in actuality they screwed up... enormously. The whole aspect of being sickly and pretentiously polite is nothing more than false concern for anyone. I'm done. There are far too many other sites online that are truly happy to do business with people. None of us have to bend to Amazon's ridiculous code of ethics. I'm out and it's the best choice I've ever made.

I have placed an order of many items and when confirming, it was said it was only one shipment. I have cancelled many products to get it in only one as the place that is receiving it charges $10/package. A week after completing the purchase, it has changed into 8 different shipments. Amazon Customer Support chat says "we charge you once the shipments are shipped out of the fulfillment center. We charge you then and then only it is when it is decided how many shipments are made." So that means that the information they give when completing the order is not true and you have to guess how many you are receiving. It is hard to understand. They do not have the information of where the product is located in the moment they show the product available in the website.
They said they have limitations on this, but I do not understand as limitation when Amazon has not informed me correctly how many shipments it was going to be sent before I finishing the purchase. Of course it is impossible to have all items in the same place but the information of how many packages was WRONG. This is not a limitation, it is a mistake as the information was given. I have only completed the order with the information it was given to me, otherwise I would have cancelled products costing less than $10 and paying another $10 only to get at the hotel.

They are tricksters. Tricking you when issuing a refund to put it on their own gift cards rather than back on your debit card and into your bank where it came from. And if you make a second purchase after a refunded one and the second purchase was also the incorrect clothing size. And you want a refund and choose 'Original payment method' thinking it would be your debit card. They weasel the money onto yet another of their 'Gift cards' even when you call and say you want it back into your bank. To where you have to have your own bank dispute them in order for it to go back into your bank.

I didn't bother much on that. And then now the account been removed for "no reason". The CSR themselves do not know the reason. Plus Amazon never says the reason either. It's like "cause I can, I will". Not a good attitude.

I bought a leather couch on Amazon for $700.00. Two days later they lowered the price by $69.00. I emailed customer service to see about a refund. They told me that they do not price match. When I told them that price matching was when a competitor offered the same product for a lesser price and they matched the lesser price. They said it was the same thing, which it was not. I tried to cancel the order. They said it had already been shipped and the only thing that I could do was refuse delivery and pay for return shipping. I called the distributor and they said it had not been shipped. I tried to talk to someone else at Amazon and got the same price matching answer. I tried to talk to a third person but they said that there would be no more discussion about my issue and that if I did not like that I could quit using Amazon (I had an Amazon Prime membership).
I told them that that was fine with me. They then told me that I would not receive any membership fee refund (even though I had just renewed my yearly membership two month earlier) and that I would not be allowed to do business with them for two years. I told them that was fine and I did not want to do business with them again in my lifetime. I had already spent more than $7000.00 with them and if they wanted to lose me as a customer... fine. Then they hung up on me. They are thieves and Jeff Bezos is trying to take over all commerce in the world. Jeff Bezos is a demon. Avoid amazon.com at all costs. try Wal-mart online or order direct from the distributor, it might take a little longer but you won't be supporting Jeff Bezos' effort to take over the world. Also, did you know that Amazon will not post a review that criticizes them or their company. They are useless and evil.

Been with Amazon for 5 years and prime. Went to make a order today and couldn't log in. Called Amazon and was told my account has been banned. They had no idea why and only offered me a email that was the only way of contact with the department that handles the situations like in my case. I have no choice but to wait. So I decide to research my issue with Amazon and WOW... I see I'm not the only one this happen to. Looks like thousands of people have the same issue. And still charges me for Prime WOW. So ban my account and still charge me 99 dollars for Prime. Amazon get rich and becomes a bully. Great going.

I have been a member of Amazon since 2011. Never had a problem until 3/29/2018. Suddenly no account associated with my email. They just now decided I broke the review guidelines, according to the email I received today, (I have not done anything different) so they pulled all my reviews and closed my account. Each time I contacted Amazon I was given a different reason, I really don't think anyone knows what is really going on.

Nov. 2017. Tried to cancel my subscribe and save orders online. They replied that I didn't have any such orders. Made a call to their customer service, which was a guy speaking very broken English with a nasty/nice attitude and giving the impression that he couldn't understand what I was saying. Now five months later, after a lot of attempts to get rid of them... including disputing charges, asking Amex to block them and changing my credit card number, there are still charges from Amazon on my card for Kindle and Audible. Spent an exhausting hour on the phone with them this morning. Amex required me to get a cancellation number. Although their "account specialists" said they would remove and refund them, they refused to give a cancellation number. Tip: Jet.com customer service is in the USA and very courteous.

I have been an Amazon customer since they were a private company many years ago. I buy everything that I need from Amazon. I had no problem return any time in the past. I have recently purchase a Makita Blower by mistake and it arrived at my front door while I wasn't home. I tried to contact Amazon to return this item but Amazon refused return because they said this is hazard material. If this is hazard material why would they sold it to me and ship to my resident. I made it clearly to Amazon customer support that I didn't even open the shipping package. I don't understand why I can't refuse this package that they left at my front door.
I spoke to several managers at the call centers and none of them care or reasoning. I would like to share my experience all the Internet and hope that no one else ran into the problem. I wished I didn't use Amazon gift card to purchase this item. If I use my credit card to order this item then I can file a dispute with my credit card company for this unreasonable return policies and scamming the consumers.

It is very disturbing to find that Amazon does not have a phone number available to customer from their website. When you do a search it only leads you to a list of options to choose from, and if you go through the list they still not list a phone number to contact them. In order to find a phone number for Amazon customer service you have to open another browser and use a search engine. Only then can you get a phone number to Amazon's customer service. That's pretty customer unfriendly. I won't use them again unless they are the only retailer that has a product I want.

Why is Amazon closing Prime accounts without notice or warnings? I called customer service and get no answers. I emailed customer service and they say will get back to you with 6-12 hrs and nothing. Everything is hush hush, then I find FB posts in various groups that this happening to several thousand people. Why can't I find anything from Amazon or any credible sources? Nothing in the news? How do I know if private information has been compromised? I have not done anything to violate any terms or conditions of membership either, I know this can happen to customers who get refunded for products they review but I haven't received anything free or reduced for good reviews.
I did join FB groups for reviewers, thinking that I would like to start reviewing items and testing products. I've only been a member in these groups less than 6 weeks. I've only looked at these groups, I have never ordered anything from sellers using any codes or received anything free or reduced for any reviews. I have never promised a review or violated anything. I'm just a member in groups so am I being targeted? I'm thinking Amazon planted spies In these groups anyway so I wouldn't trust these so called sellers. I shouldn't be penalized for reading comments. All Amazon would have to do is look at my account and realize that I haven't given any positive reviews. So I don't even know if it's connected.
I recently gave a bad review on a product that didn't work, that I purchased an extended warranty on because seller wanted me to pay for shipping to look at it and fix it but the costs of shipping were more than the cost of me buying a replacement. It was just not worth it and I voiced it in review. Am I being penalized for that? Another issue was that Amazon sent wrong products to me for an order. They did send replacement but now I returned wrong products and I can't even track it because they closed me out. I've had my Prime account for over 10 years and still had several months to go and now my account was closed. I just want answers and to know what Amazon is doing to fix this issue. I would like to resume ordering. Who do I need to contact for further investigations? Please help!
