I use to enjoy Amazon for the high quality items but recently that has all changed. A lot of China junk has saturated Amazon.com and as I did more and more of Amazon I realized how many items I was tossing out. I only purchase from here if I can't find it anywhere else. Otherwise I tend to purchase it locally. I was shocked to learn how much sellers are allowed to increase prices. A standard bag of cat litter can be purchased from a local store for $18.00. Amazon sells it for $50+ with weight shipping. Wow price scamming.

Our Amazon account got hacked and this hacker purchased 4 Amazon gift cards sent to themselves. Amazon immediately caught it and told us to change our password, which we did. We also cancelled that particular card and thought everything was ok. Three weeks later we get an email from Amazon saying that our credit card company had denied the charges (DUH) and that our Amazon account was closed until we paid the $500. Even though they knew it was fraud, and told us to change our password they are still requiring that we pay it. WTH? Not only that, I can't even log into my account to see what orders are pending, cancelled, etc... I have called at least ten times and they keep telling me the fraud dept will call me back and they never do. This is literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. EVER! It's been a month and my account it still locked down. I can't see my wish lists or anything, it's outrageous.

I was recently awarded what Amazon calls "promotional certificates" for $40. I was satisfied at the time as the $40 was a reasonable settlement. I went to purchase some items and noticed I could not see any "promotional certificates" of any value any place. After some research I was told it was available at check out. Okay that works great for Amazon but not so good for their clients. How do you know the so called "promotional certificate" has been applied, How do you know where you can spend it. How can you track it? How do you know Amazon ever issued the "promotional certificate"? How do you know it is not a scam.

They tell you you get this great "promotional certificate". Oh but you can't use it on most items, you can't see it anywhere unless you buy something and check out and you can't track it. This is a simple programming change that Amazon needs to make. If they truly are issuing and tracking their "promotional certificate" then they can easily provide that detail to clients. Please Amazon fix it.

Email them about my issue and they ask me to contact them via a number provided in their reply. I tried the number but it was not in service. Hence I replied and told them about the invalid number, at the same time provided them with my mobile so they can call me at a convenient time. However I did not receive any call from them. The whole conversation above repeated thrice via our email exchange. Frustratingly they always reply me with the same automated reply of calling an invalid number and leaving a number for them to contact me which never happened. Till now, I have yet to get an answer and this is disappointing for such a big company. Why bother having a customer service team when they don’t even bother reading their customer email, not just once but thrice.

Very incompetent. I am a Amazon Prime longtime member and Amazon has never missed a payment withdrawal for this so called service. This week, on Sunday I ordered a Computer and with Prime, it was scheduled for arrival in two days, Tuesday. I changed from PayPal to my business credit card - which Amazon made easy - just click on credit card and enter the information.

It appears that someone in Account Management flagged the change from Paypal to a credit - and held the order for credit card verification. Now to this point, it is not unusual to check for fraud - but the incompetence from this point on is as if I was dealing with a overseas 3rd world vendor. The order tracking information indicated that the item would be shipped in the 2 day window - to arrive Tuesday. I called to inquire about the item Tuesday afternoon as it was not received, and the tracking information said not shipped - scheduled, to arrive Tuesday PM. After 45 minutes on the phone, all they could tell me is it was not shipped as it was “in review” - whatever that means.

They attempted to reach an Account Manager - which required about 30 minutes to access. All that I got out of this is - he’s the order was held - no, they did not know why - did not know who held it up - probably due to the change from PayPal to a credit card. I was told they need to contact the bank to verify the... - no one knew what. Now I deal with taking credit cards and know it is a 30 second process- simply enter the card for verification and the response is immediate. So no one at Amazon (remember I am a long time member of Prime and have continuously purchased goods through the Amazon Prime app) would act - until I complained and then they said, "OK, we can send the item in 2 more days," as if they were entering the order for the 1st time.

They apologize and offered me a$20.00 credit... what a sad way to treat a customer. I cancelled the order, bought the same item on the spot at Best Buy and want all to know - do not trust Amazon to look after you - and know that they are incompetent when you make a simple change to... anything out of their normal operating procedures.

The Amazon customer service team is hopeless. I contacted them thrice regarding a package that showed delivered on my account but was not delivered. I contacted them thrice and I had to keep explaining the issue to them where they could have checked my previous conversation regarding the issue. A person named Antony (if that's his real name) without checking the shipping details said that the package was missing and I should check with my neighbors whereas the previous day another customer care person told me that the package was running late. These people clearly have no connection with each other and are not doing their job of helping customers obviously. I buy tons of stuff from Amazon and this is least expected from their end.

Since they charged me the $39.99 for it, I contacted Amazon and they said that my account has been suspended, and I can’t use it. I asked them to return my money back and they wrote me that they will. But it has been a month already and they never returned my money. I contacted them several times by phone, email and nothing works. All I hear is that the transfer of $39.99 failed to initiate. I paid them from my debit card which was the biggest mistake. I use to like Amazon, trust reviews, experienced good customer service, but lately I'm finding things to be a bit odd. After a brief 6 months of Prime, we canceled. Not one package arrived on the expected date. It was either late, or lost, and forget videos, the selection is old, and everything seems to be "a la carte", not a big deal - however 2 day delivery was for us. Now, as in the past, we've wanted to review products good and bad. I like reviews because I'm a huge product researcher before I buy. We've noticed that our reviews are either posted immediately, 1 out of 7, or rejected because it did not meet Amazon's guidelines for reviews, or it's completely lost in cyberspace and nothing was posted. This has happened over 20 reviews, and only 3 have made it, 1 which Amazon said, "For writing your review we've chosen to gift you $3 toward your next purchase."

This made me even more suspicious of their review practices. Today, after writing 4 more, 1 immediately published, a 2-star book review, I find it safe to say, I'm not sure the other 3, (one which was an Amazon "choice", distributed by them which failed me today after 6 months of use), that they will ever be published. Since the oddness of reviews, I've started to directly purchase my products locally or with the vendors directly, I can wait the extra days if I plan ahead. My gut does not trust the retailer, if you shop enough there you should see the patterns evolving...like so many other business giants, buyer/user beware, something is going on.

Don't fall for the Amazon Prime scam. They "guarantee" 2 day delivery and give you a "guaranteed delivery date" that is almost never actually correct! I paid for prime and only about 3 out of 10 deliveries were on time. One of them didn't even show up and they will not refund me or replace the item even though it was the carrier's fault. They have to do their "investigation" into the carrier first. I have a very busy schedule and don't have time to be hanging around waiting for something that isn't my fault. If you want to order something and expect it to come when it says it will then you should probably use eBay. Amazon is a joke!

It's easier to say no than say yes, a no means they don't have to do anything, a yes means they have to get off their butts and do something. And dumb companies like Amazon keep paying them to lose customers for them. How smart is that?

First I ordered an item with free one day shipping but then they tried to charge me $35 for the shipping. While customer service waived the fee they still didn’t ship the item for two days making it a late arrival. No apologies! My next order was missing items, 4 piece sheet set was missing pillow cases so they either sent me a used item or a returned item. No quality control anymore. Plus they never responded to me as to what I should do with them! Return or reshoot!

Within 20 minutes Amazon had issued me a total refund of the items and changed my shipping preferences going forward to ensure I receive ordered items going forward. So I want to return to seller but he issue a return shipping label which I have to pay for it. It was not prepaid. The international shipping cost was so high for that packet compare to dress price. So I again contacted Amazon. They said we cannot refund because it's from third party seller. So finally I did not get any resolution. So think 100 times before ordering with some Chinese junk vendor through Amazon or forget your money. So just think that you did a charity to multi billion dollar company.

I use to be a HUGE Amazon fan, but the last couple of years their service/support has tanked. I've had MANY issues with late, broken or missed deliveries, but that's as much UPS and USPS's fault as Amazon's. It's their "customer" reviews have become worse than useless. I would conservatively estimate that 50% of all reviews on Amazon.com are fake. Word for word duplicates reviews, reviews that are for different products, or "customers" that only have 1 or 2 reviews. Worse, Amazon prevents new reviews of c.r.a.p. products, but LEAVES THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS UP! Then if you aren't careful, you end up with something totally unusable that can't be returned. I've been reporting the problem for years but it's only gotten worse. I've switched to buying as much as I can locally because Amazon just can't be trusted.

I spoke to quite a few people and got the runaround then was hung up on when I asked for a supervisor. I have been a Prime member for a long time and always felt the company did right by its customers. Now it seems things are changing and they are no longer that same customer orientated company. My advice - don't waste your money on Prime. You can get two day shipping elsewhere for free and less drama.

The worse company in the world. They didn't use to be like this. I'm boycotting Amazon and Twitch. They are useless and think they are too big to fail. Keep that attitude and I will smile while you useless company implodes due to your cocky BS. You know Wal-mart offers free two day shipping for free. I know they're not much better but if they cause Amazon to fail I'm supporting them. I have never had the runaround like I have had since the 23rd. It all started because my son is a Twitch streamer who we so desperately try to support. Slim_ps well me and my wife both have Twitch accounts we use to watch his stream. I spend hundreds a month trying to get his stream going. I had spent 75 bucks from the 21st of February to 28th gifting subs, buying bits, etc.

I purchased $20 worth of bits on the 22nd for my wife to use on his stream. The 23rd they was gone and we was not sure what happened to them so I contacted Amazon who gave me misinformation and a number to call that was not affiliated with Amazon at all. I complained. A guy called me and said he was sorry and he would give me 15 bucks on my account for the misinformation as it was never a policy to provide numbers to organizations outside of Amazon. He then said he would help with the Twitch issue and came back and informed for some reason he could not. Which I was ok with. At least he was honest with me.

Well the 15 bucks was not applied and not only I had been working to get this resolved since the 23rd of February with useless communication after useless communication and here it is 1st of March. So I decided to call and request a supervisor after 10 minutes. He comes on only to say he can do nothing to help me. He would have to get Twitch on the line (For those who do not know Amazon owns Twitch). So he transfers me and the Twitch guy tells me he can't do anything since I used PayPal to purchase the bits which really pissed me off because I used PayPal as payment method only. I purchased them through their site. So I got upset and he hung up on me.

So then I was really upset and called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. His name was Josh ** and he was a complete jerk. I told him I wanted to cancel my Amazon account as I was tired of the BS and he didn't even care. He was like it was another day and I did not matter. Now I have been an Amazon Customer since 2002 so I helped build their brand. You could tell he was being upbeat about just to show I was nothing to them. That really ticked me off. Then he of course tells me how I will lose all these benefits including the $25 gift card I have on their site and that is nonrefundable.

So of course I had to spend that or lose it so I did and he makes sure to include in the email how if I continue to cancel my orders will be cancelled. So as soon as I get that order I'm cancelling my account and I will never shop at this place again and will not be able to continue to support my son on Twitch. I hope they keep this attitude up because we all know that no company is too big to fail. Not even Amazon and they will see soon enough. Useless company with useless people hiding behind their current status. Should be negative 10 stars!

Let’s start by stating that in the last six months of my account, we had 266 orders. Yep, you read that correctly. I had my account since 1999 when I started ordering college textbooks from Amazon. By last year, I would guesstimate we were spending perhaps 10K a year. I never totaled it because we purchased so much through it - toilet paper, groceries, presents, you name it. Christmas 2017 is when things really started going south. I was shocked at how many “new” items I was receiving for a Christmas were arriving used, dirty, not as advertised and/or smashed. We were having to send half of our orders back. One DVD took THREE times to get one not broken! I still continued on...

Forward to most of 2018...more of the same. Here’s a clincher of a sample. I was Christmas shopping early. I bought a 3-story fire escape ladder. (Yes, I realize this is a strange present :)) It showed up in a box that appeared that it could have possibly been present in one of the world wars. Beat to heck, ladder looked like it might have been partially extended. So, I return it, after much pain in the butt interaction with their “customer service” staff, and a replacement is sent. Replacement comes and the bottom rubber pieces that stabilize the ladder look as if they were used/scraped across concrete. The whole ladder looked used, box worse than the first. I thought returning the first was difficult. Ha! Well, when trying to return this and just get my $85 back, the rep actually asked, “Yeah, it look used, but you can still use, right?” Sure, dumb**. A fire safety ladder. I’ll reuse it.

Well, they had received the first one back but never marked it as such. Luckily, I had the tracking receipt. They did NOT want to refund my money. As I’m reading everywhere, “We’ll give you gift card balance”. No, you stink anymore - I do not want to shop your site and guarantee myself more disappointment, lost time and money.

So, finally in November 2018, I started getting warnings about my reviews “violating guidelines”. Good luck getting out of them WHICH guidelines you might be violating. I knew they weren’t permitting any lower star reviews and deleting seller negatives (you can see this when high volume sellers have 80% one day, next day 99% or similar), but thought that was just to swing opinion to buy subpar Chinese crap they are peddling in droves. Oddly, the warnings commenced right after I started reviewing conservative books.

A few I referred to having been a former Liberal/Democrat, but did not bash anyone in any way. I’ve heard dissenters can report your review(s) en mass and you get flagged. Perhaps that is what occurred. So after, “if you don’t correct your activity, we will delete your account”...well, I lost 800+ ebooks, close to 100 audiobooks, etc. Moral of the story: Don’t put your eggs all in one basket. I’m three months Amazon free and it’s rather awesome! I’m back to shopping almost all local brick and mortar.

I ordered a book on February 21st, 2019 and six days later I've still not received it. I would be fine even if I received the item today. (The sixth day) I've ordered products from other companies and have received the items much more timely. Receiving items in a timely fashion clearly communicates to me a company appreciates my business. A company that don't focus on getting items to customers in a reasonable timely manner communicates that they don't appreciate my business. I'm sure Amazon wouldn't appreciate it taking over six days to pay for products. Of course they make it so payment is made upfront.

Anyway, if you want a better chance to receive products in a reasonably timely manner order from anyone other than Amazon. Unless you plan to pay for Amazons two-day delivery which I'm guessing why my order is taking over six days standard shipping to get here. Amazon thinks discourage me and I'll pay more for their two-day shipping. Not going to do that. I hope this helps others make informed decisions before ordering products.

They are probably slowing it down for me to try Prime because they ship items faster but they just don’t care how fast things ship. Hopefully this gave a few helpful suggestions.

Of course in law this is wrong as in contract law it is not possible to introduce a third party into a contract after the event.

As nothing had been delivered how could I possibly know who the carrier was! When I explained this to Amazon customer service the agent became abusive. I hung up. Later I spoke to another Amazon Agent who agreed, and confirmed by email, that the cooker was not delivered. However, unless I Reported the matter to the police Amazon would not refund me.

Ok I asked Amazon who was the carrier as without that I have nothing to go on. I hit a blank wall, so I asked Kitchen Kapers who supplied the thing... Again nothing. No one wanted to be helpful. After much telephoning it was obvious to me that for whatever reason Amazon was not going to help. I really did not want this hassle. I explained to Amazon that MRS ** was not well and that I was recovering from a heart attack and we both could go without all this.

For some reason Amazon kept bothering us implying I was making a false claim. How could I possibly do that as to do so I would have to signed for the grill, which I had not. They hassled MRS ** until I told them to keep the purchase money and we bought another grill. Not quite the same but sufficient. (photos and receipts available).

Doing this. Telling Amazon to keep the money has left me free to be as critical as I wish, especially as an AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE STATED I WAS MAKING A FALSE CLAIM (name supplied by request). It`s about the book "HABLAR EN CUBANO" of my authorship (I can prove that I am the author with the originals of the book), which has been uploaded to the Amazon sales platform without my authorization by the Editorial Hispana. This Editorial Hispana is receiving the economic benefits of my book, resulting from the commission of each book on Amazon, and I have not received a dime.

I granted Editorial Hispana the right to EDIT my book HABLAR EN CUBANO, but not to PUBLISH it in any sales platform. They, however, took that right without my knowledge and my authorization. I want Amazon to immediately stop selling the book to prevent that Editorial Hispana continues stealing my copyrights, but Amazon has not taken any of my claims into account.

At end of Jan, I was charged R148 for the free trial, but no payment has reflected on Amazon Prime account. So I complain but because the amount reflects in my bank account and not on Prime, I was told they can't help me. I cancelled the trial long before the end of Feb. Again an amount has been deducted for Prime and is not reflecting on Prime!

The 3rd day they said it would take 2 days to correct the problem. In the interim they have frozen my Prime TV account, my Kindle account and my Amazon account. For a company that claims to be customer centric, their service sucks!

I would love to create a replacement right away; however, I see that the item was ordered from (GeeKee Direct), a seller on our website. Because sellers inventories are constantly changing, we can't replace items sold by them that are Fulfilled by Amazon." So I went to Amazon and picked another set of earbuds from a different supplier since "we can't replace items sold by them."

Once the order was placed I received another email. "I've checked the details of order. Upon checking I've found that you have place the order for the same item but is sold by "Tranya" on our website which is different from the previous vendor. In this case we are not able to issue you a refund for price difference." I followed their instructions exactly and they back out. Now this is a price difference of $10.00. No big deal but if you say you are going to do something follow through. Is this $10.00 going to hurt Amazon? No. But did they just lose a customer over $10.00? Sure did!

I ordered an echo dot 3rd generation for my son's birthday present. They put a hold on my account until they shipped the product. My son was so excited. So then I get an email that payment wasn't paid. My bank said it was. So I went back and forth with my bank and Amazon because Amazon keep telling me it was being sent. Then I would get an email every couple days saying they weren’t getting the payment. My bank couldn’t do nothing with the money Amazon put a hold on the payment. So I couldn’t even get my money back.

The only way I could get anything done was for Amazon to cancel the order and my money on hold would go back on my account. When I did that the Amazon customer service person told me to reorder the product and they would expedite the package since they screwed up. When I reordered it it was 20 dollars more. So I called Amazon back to get it for the original price. The customer service person said it’s not in stock. So the whole time it wasn’t in stock when I first purchased it. They were giving me the run around the whole time. They wouldn’t do nothing to fix their mess up. They said it was my fault for canceling the order. Because Amazon the one who put a hold on my account.

Amazon Logistics must search far and wide to hire the most arrogant and rude delivery personnel possible. Their service is terrible. My front wall/gate is 12 feet high. On two occasions the delivery guy threw the package up and over the wall onto a cement walkway. When I questioned him, he said, "what do you want me to do? Leave it on the walkway". Yes, ring the doorbell and leave it in the corner by the mailbox. The guy couldn't figure that out. I have made numerous calls and left a note on my gate asking that anyone making a delivery please ring the doorbell and leave the package under the mailbox. Apparently, the Amazon drivers cannot read, or are simply too rude to be bothered. They prefer to leave it in the middle of the walkway in plain sight and don't ring the doorbell. FedEx, UPS, USPS have no problem in ringing the doorbell and placing the package off to the side. Only AL drivers. They are terrible.

They stated they would pick up the wrecked stamps when they delivered the new ones, which they did not. I cannot imagine fighting over refunds and exchanges over something as trivial as stamps. I have no idea what they plan on doing as they are also confusing to talk to. Geez.

I retract my previous complaint. Although my issue was never resolved and the person who did steal was never caught. I just think they need to fortify and restructure who they do business with, mainly their (3rd party clients). I understand it's the persons risk to get things on Amazon, but on the "other hand" Amazon is the top online retailers in the world, and we "shouldn't" have to worry too much about that. Maybe amazon doesnt need to be shutdown but someone needs to be held responsible for the crimes that take place at their store.

    Original Review: Feb. 23, 2019

Hi. Here is my long rant about this company. I started ordering from them back in 2013-2014 somewhere around there. Then just recently my last 2 packages I ordered got lost on delivery and never made it to my house. That's the time period I think my information was compromised. Because then I fell victim to the scam known as "brushing scam". I never realized they had this kind of scam going on or else I would have never kept ordering from them.

I started getting orders I didn't order. The person who accessed my account was using other people's information probably fake generated information (credit cards, addresses etc). They never used my financial information, just my personal information such as (address and name). They ordered about 12 orders on my account using other people's information. That I never paid for or ordered. They even signed me up for Amazon Prime. So after I noticed this happening I contacted customer service. They weren't really much help because all customer service can do is (cancel, delete, refund) orders. Simple stuff like that. All other deeper concerns is brought over to their investigation team which wasn't helpful either. They did the same thing customer service did "nothing"! They never solved this problem.

I had to request Amazon to delete my account in order to solve this problem. But the person who obtained my information was never found. I even reported Amazon to my local police but they found no suspects. One of the main problem with Amazon is they allow anyone to do business with them (3rd party) meaning any person in the world who wants to buy or sell. The relationship Amazon has with sellers & vendors is horrific and downright illegal and wrong. As long as Amazon gets paid I dont think they care what happens to their customers. Because most of their customer service people are from another country (other than America). I never spoke with a person who spoke good English.

This company needs to be shut down. I thought they were a trustworthy company to do business with. But then after my experience with their sellers (3rd party) is really puts a distaste in my mind about who they are. So long story short, my account was hacked by the scam known as "Brushing scam" and I had to request deletion of my account to stop it. It was a hassle trying to resolve this issue and in the end it was never truly resolved. They just deleted my account & cancelled the orders the scammer placed.

My final statement: don't do business with this company. Ya they may seem great, but once your information is compromised, your life could be in for a terrible onslaught of uninvited hackers/scammers. I think the FBI needs to deeply investigate Amazon, for fraudulent charges, identity theft and stealing. Those are just a few crimes that I am aware of that they have committed against me. I hope someone takes this seriously and does the right thing and brings justice to Amazon's customers, because I know I am not the only one who had fallen victim to this. Thank you for your time and I hope you found this information helpful and dont fall victim to Amazon's crimes that nobody seems to care about!

Before you make any Amazon purchases, check to see if it will be shipped and delivered through Amazon or if a real delivery company like ups will be delivering you packages. I hate to say this but Amazon logistics SUCKS and is very unprofessional. I ordered a pair of kettlebells through prime on a Saturday and they were supposed to be delivered the next Thursday (Still way more than 2 days but whatever). Keep in mind these kettlebells were 20 lbs each and supposedly packed together so this is a 40 lb pound box.

So Thursday comes around and I’m tracking my shipment. I’m at home and get the notification that says I’m the next stop so I looked out my house and saw the delivery van. So I sat down and waited. Well the van never stopped or delivered anything and all day the tracker said I was the next stop as the van slowly worked its way further away from my house and finally back to the warehouse. So I called Amazon logistics and the lady couldn’t give me any straight answers. I asked where my package was and they didn’t know. She said I will get my package today or tomorrow and well it's Saturday now and still no package. She also said she would call me back to update me and she never did.

When I was on the phone she continually told me to “hold on” and I heard a bunch of noise in the background and she kept stumbling over her words trying to feed me some bs. Very unprofessional. So she told me to wait until the end of day and she would call back but no call ever came. Well on Friday I woke up and the tracking thing was disabled and all it said was that it’s late but “expected today”.

I’m not dumb and I know this is a bunch of ** so I called again. This time I got someone a little more helpful and I told him my package is either lost or got stolen (remember it’s a 40 lb package so it didn’t just get wings and float away) and that I want a refund immediately. They never addressed the problem of their logistics LOSING OR STEALING my 40 lb package. Now they say it might come by next Tuesday but if I ordered the same item right now through prime it says I would get it Monday so why would my package take even longer if it was already packaged and shipped??? All of this seemed really shady to me and nobody could give me a real answer as to what’s going on.

I asked for a refund on my prime for the month and they only offered me $5. That $5 doesn’t even cover the cost of a month of prime. I’m canceling my prime subscription immediately. I’m a person of principle and if I pay for a service I should get what I pay for. Amazon just lost a loyal customer that has given them thousands of dollars of business and would have given thousands more in the future, but not now. I hope nobody has the same experience but I only see Amazon shipping getting worse because their training and customer service is nonexistent! !

On February 15, I went to the location to pick up the package. When I opened the locker I noticed the package opened. I noticed that the package was never sealed and the lens that I ordered was missing. I submitted a replacement/refund however before I could a refund I had to return the item. On February 16, I contacted customer service, after being transferred to 5 different people, I was told that I had to wait 3 days to investigate my issue.

After not hearing from customer service, I contacted them today, February 22, and was passed around to 5 more people. After speaking to 10 different people, I was told that I need to go to a police station to report my item was missing. According to the last customer service representative, because I opened the locker Amazon no longer is responsible for the item. The representative told me that I should have left the package in the locker. I asked the representative what purpose would leaving the package in the locker serve. I asked him that since I opened the locker, my order would be classified as received. He said yes. I now have to go to the police station to get a reported incident number so that they can reinvestigate the missing item. I even sent pictures per Amazon request. Amazon didn’t even look at the picture.

I ordered some Hemp oil cream for my shoulders. This product is great! But Amazon is not! I ordered this product. They said it would arrive the following day. What arrived was an empty envelope. I called immediately to Amazon C/S. They told me nothing can be done, and they will only refund. I advised them if I wanted a refund I would never have ordered the product! WTH?

Then the lies started, they can replace the product as the vendor will not allow. Yo you are not replacing the product, you are shipping what was not shipped. So there is no replacement! Can't make them understand at all. They say it is a replacement. How is this a replacement when I have an empty envelope? Hey nothing inside what you delivered.

I have had this problem before, and was given the same song and dance. All Amazon C/S does is lie, cheat and steal. I offered to give their carrier the unopened envelope when they deliver my product, they said they can't do that either. WHAT? I asked several people from India, to the US to Jamaica, and they all spout the same bilge water, they will not reship and they show it was delivered.

Well I did some checking. This is now a common problem with Amazon! I hope is they piss off enough customers to end up like SEARS. Bankrupt no customers, and a reputation that can not be fixed. REMEMBER AMAZON CUSTOMERS MADE YOU WHAT YOU ARE, AND CUSTOMERS CAN BRING YOU DOWN.

Also you Amazon Prime is a joke, most things are not delivered on the dates you say. It is usually several days after that. WTH do I pay the extra PRIME MEMBERSHIP, and it has no benefits? Just another scam by Amazon. I also found out that Amazon by not doing what they say they are going to do, is in a breach of contract. They agreed to take your money for goods and services and fail to deliver, is a breach of contract!

Here is a suggestion: File a complaint with the state attorney general in your state, the FTC, and the US Attorney Generals office. I am tired of being lied to and cheated. This is what Amazon does every time they fail to send you your product, or send you empty boxes. Also start calling Amazon HDQ in Seattle, 206-+266-1000, as to speak to the V/P or higher, they will lie to you and say that the V/P has no phone number. Really no phone number? Boy the lies keep coming. Please post here, on their FaceBook account, call them and keep calling, also report them to the state attorney General, the FTC, as well as the US attorney general. Maybe to local TV stations as well.

This company needs to stop putting PROFITS BEFORE PEOPLE, and start living up their full expectations by their customers. Most of all STOP LIEING AND CHEATING ITS CUSTOMERS! Stop the fraud. BTW I don't know any V/P who does not have a phone. What it is they have so many complaints no one in the upper ranks wants to own up to any explanations. On the other hand they already know the problems, refuse to fix them as a losing a few customers is worth it! Now how does that make you feel. Get the word out, stop the lies, the cheating of customers, and start living up to your contracts you make with your customers.

Amazon is changing and not for the better. Just a few years back, Prime meant 2 day delivery and free returns on nearly everything marked Prime and if the guaranteed shipment was missed you would be credited with a month's Prime membership. Those days are gone. Prime no longer means 2 day delivery or even 2 day shipment. They may shoot for 2 days but if they miss it, oh well. They will offer to refund your shipping cost but if you use prime the cost is built in so you get nothing. Also you must now be very careful when ordering a prime item. Unless it specifically says "Free Returns" next to the delivery statement, you will pay for any returns. Those free return banners are fewer in number every month.

A recent action I noticed is that pricing is changing almost daily. This may have been happening for a while, but you may want to monitor and item you want for a few days. It could go up but it may also go down. Finally there is a huge influx of Chinese origin items flooding Amazon. They don't tell you this up front, but reading Q&A's you can pick up on it often. Not always a bad thing, but there is a higher rate of quality issues with these. Just tread cautiously.

This is going to be a long one, because it took me nearly two months to resolve this issue. I placed an order January 20, 2019 for Seagate Barracuda Internal Hard Drive. An email told me it was delivered on Wednesday (Jan. 23), but there was no package. When I checked the "Track Your Package" link, I discovered it was sent to the wrong house.

When I asked for a replacement the representative helping me said it would arrive Friday, Jan. 25. Once again, there was no package outside and I saw, once again, that it was delivered to the wrong house. Upon reaching out to the Help Desk for a second time, I was sent a second replacement. The only reason I received this one was because the owner of the house it was delivered to was kind enough to bring it over to me. Along with the previous two packages. I repeatedly told them what my address was. In my Amazon account, via email, via Help desk, etc. The person who received all three packages lives more than A MILE from my house. This implies that whoever was delivering them made little to no effort to actually look for my address.

Lastly, because I was honest and admitted I got all three packages, when I called another representative to ask for help in regards to what to do with the other packages, she told me I’d have to return them "or else we'll have to charge you for them." So I asked for some return slips, but was only given one. I ended up taping the two packages together and put the single slip on top. The delivery person refused to take it because "it's technically two packages". The UPS store told me the same thing. Eventually I did get two slips, and the packages were returned. After over a month of dragging the situation out. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. As much as they advertise "great customer service" I fail to see where it applies. At this point I'm too disgusted with them to continue business with them.

This has happened a few times. I just ordered a product on Saturday and Amazon gave me two options. One day delivery and second day delivery. I chose one-day. My product should arrive by Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Sunday at 6:00 p.m. I had not seen my product arrive, therefore I went online to check its progress. It said that my package was still en route but would be delivered by 8:00 p.m. I was sitting in my front living room and was waiting for the arrival. By 8:00 p.m. I checked online again and there was notification at first that said there was an issue with no other details. I saw that the delivery was from USPS. This is the second time that I have not received a package from USPS on a weekend and there was some excuse that they could not deliver. I receive Amazon deliveries all the time. If they do not deliver on Sundays, they certainly will not on President Day, why are they offering it to customers?

I went online again Monday evening and saw that they had updated their system: "Carrier is unable to gain access to front door to deliver the package. Please contact the carrier to resolve." (Employee deciding the day is done and not delivering packages? Uses snow as excuse.) There was a small amount of snow on the ground but not on the walkway to my door. I was home all day on Sunday. We had received another Amazon package at the door that same day but the carrier was not USPS. The notification says they tried to deliver at 6:09 p.m. That is impossible because I was looking out my window from about 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. USPS delivers packages on Sundays.

I have been on hold with USPS for over an hour and a half, and I get a knock at the door. My packages, as I am still on hold. The information Amazon provided regarding my package was false and had me waiting on the phone for over an hour and a half. Their one-day and two-day shipping is a scam. Then their reason for delay and proper actions are misleading. Desired Resolution: Modification/discontinuance of an advertised claim. Desired Outcome. I would them to look into this issue with USPS and know if they're going to change their policies and clarify the actions they will take when a package is not delivered in the time frame promised. They have hired USPS to do their job and I am not sure if they are really monitoring the deliveries. If you look online, Amazon Sellers are very upset that their packages are not arriving on time. Online it says it has been delivered but it was not delivered.

I have also witnessed this myself. They are also complaining that their packages are going missing. USPS lost 13 packages in Feb 2019. Jan 5, 2019 "So far 5 orders marked as delivered, yet buyers claim they have not received packages. USPS is failing to do its job done right." This is a big issue for Amazon. They need to deliver on their promise in their marketing ads. The only way to make a complaint against Amazon is through their seller's pages and that is completely wrong... No other place to make complaints. I decided to make one to the BBB.

No response, then I ended the chat. I got an email saying two of my subscriptions had been canceled. I only said Noggin was what my son kept subscribing too, yet they canceled my other subscription. I specifically said not to cancel anything and I wanted to talk to someone else. Horrible customer service!!!

Not only is it taking 2 weeks to get a delivery but I end up spending more money. They give me a promotional credit of $5 but I can only use up to $1 per order. We reached out to Amazon a couple of times and was told the sale was from a third party (Gatzies) who has refused to accept a return saying it wasn't allowed. I contact chat (again in India) and am told there was a delay and it will arrive in 3 days, which the site now says it will arrive in two days. I inform the customer service agent to just cancel the order. I am then told I would have to call UPS because it has already been shipped. So, basically lied and did nothing the day before. No one shipped it overnight. Amazon is trying to do too many things and now can't even meet the basic obligations of its customers.

If could give a minus star review I would. Amazon has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I was having issues logging in to my account on my new computer and was prompted with their 2 step verification system, which it only allows you to get a code through either a text message, a call or through an authenticator app. According to the platform, the system automatically sends a text message with the code, which I never received. Then when I chose the option to get a call, the system never calls. The authenticator app doesn't work because it never prompts the barcode to add to the app.

When I email customer services I am told that I have to call customer service for security reasons and because of this, they don't send codes over email. I replied back saying that a deaf-mute person cannot make or receive calls, and to please provide a different alternative. After 2 emails explaining the same over and over again, I am told to chat with them over the platform. I chat with another representative and the same thing. This person reads the same script without even reading my comments. I told them the same, a deaf-mute person cannot make calls, and the person just replies that they encourage a deaf-mute person to have a family member call them to solve the issue. Really? Do you call this accommodation? This is a rude response to people with permanent disabilities.

Clearly, they don't care for the customers just for whatever they define as 'secure.' I make a friend call them and they made them wait for another hour to solve the issue, which it doesn't get solved at all. Finally, we had to provide a copy of my driver's license just to deactivate the absurd 2 step verification system they have forcibly imposed on customers. Shame on you Amazon and Amazon support people, this is an offense to all people who cannot either make calls because of disabilities, or anyone who does not, or do not want, to have a telephone number. I am sure that if it were to accept my payments for a purchase that would be allowed without a question or a security excuse. Shame on you Amazon, this platform and their support services is awful and offensive. Someone should do something legal against them.

No **. If you guys shipped on a Thursday instead of Friday the 2 day guaranteed item would show up Monday not Tuesday. My other personal favorite I've had happen is when they say it's sold by Amazon but actually being drop shipped by a 3rd party, so they charge you immediately for the item as it "shipped" but in reality it's pending fulfillment by a 3rd party that then takes 2 ** weeks for them to fulfill as it was back ordered. I called them a few times later receiving an email saying that I ever the had a relationship with some seller, or I was getting free or discounted stuff and that’s the reason I was posting a good review and also my account had been banned from writing a review ever since. What really pisses me off is that there is always a button there where you can choose to leave a review but when I do, I get a ban. After called them 10 times and speaking to 5 different managers, about a month after the issue.

What I got told on the phone was basically, "We will not provide you with any more information, we will not prove anything to you and the decision is final, happy or not, deal with it." How bad does it sound? All I asked was, if they are ‘determined’ I was violating against their 3 policies like I have said above, prove it to me that I actually know the seller or I was getting free stuff? But no, I don’t get any and I have to deal with it. The very last manager that I spoke to had a terrible attitude and they don’t treat you like customers.

As a businessman I am very disgusted with how they handle their Prime Members. First of all, when you promise 2-day shipping you expect 2 days. As Prime Members, you want that service and expect it not when you deliver says you're going to show then doesn't show at all. I've lost many hours waiting at home where I can be at my business working. Then tell a customer, "Oh well we will give you a refund." Just maybe people don't want a refund. This becomes so frustrating and I have waited and talked with customer service and said: "what is the point of having Prime if I can't expect my products on time or missing in transit which has happened to me not once not twice but 3 days in a row". Either your workers can't do the job or they are just lazy and that is completely unacceptable. Why pay so much money a year for Prime where you can't even guarantee your product. I ordered a New ROKU Express+ thru Amazon PRIME, which was only available thru a 3rd party seller. The item happened to arrive a day early and required a signature. I come home, find a delivery attempt note on my door from USPS indicating a signature is needed. I contacted Amazon Customer Service by phone who conducted a joint call with USPS. Apparently, the 3rd party seller chose to ship the item via USPS and required USPS to obtain a signature, whereas every other Amazon item I receive from USPS comes to my home's USPS neighborhood parcel locker. As the Chief Operating Officer Of An Aerospace Company, I don't have all day to wait around my home for a delivery, nor am I willing to wait in line for 1 hour at my local Orlando post office.

While speaking to the Amazon Representative on the telephone, and after weighing the pros and cons of this specific delivery, I chose to refuse the delivery of the item and cancel the order. While on the call with the Amazon Representative, she was insistent that she and I both needed to stay on the line while USPS spoke to me about refusing the order. The simple solution would have been for Amazon to stock the item (as it is a popular selling item) and Amazon could have send it right to my doorstep via Amazon Prime, thru their contracted delivery carriers. To put this into better perspective, I live in a safe neighborhood and have never had a theft of a package on my front porch, not ever. This however is only where the story begins...

When I contacted Amazon and asked them to contact the USPS and the 3rd party seller to not require a signature and place the item in my parcel locker, that is where the lack of customer service began... The initial Amazon Rep I spoke to, made me wait on the line to speak to USPS to refuse the item and while on the call, the USPS representative elected to hang up the phone.

I called Amazon back, asked for a Supervisor, asked him to document what had occurred to date, including encouraging the 3rd party seller not to require signatures on future orders, as USPS by policy will not leave a parcel on someone's doorstep. Rather they will choose to leave the parcel in a parcel locker (being that the item is small enough to fit in a parcel locker), knock on your front door and or leave the package at the local post office. While on the phone with USPS, the Amazon Supervisor hung up the phone.

I call Amazon back a 3rd time, ask for a second supervisor, explain the situation briefly and the supervisor states that she can do nothing to help and that I should expect a redelivery tomorrow. I share with the supervisor that in the prior call, I told the USPS representative to return the package to the sender as the signature needed, which made the delivery too inconvenient. I also asked the Supervisor to document the extremely poor customer service they had provided, whereas in the past, the customer service was excellent.

How could this issue have been prevented? 1. Amazon could choose to stock this popular ROKU device in their warehouse and could have chosen to ship it 2 Day Prime and have left it on my doorstep, while experiencing no security issues. 2. The 3rd Party Seller 'Amazing Camera Sales & Same Day Shipping' could have sent the item, not requiring a signature, whereas it would have been placed in my parcel locker and I could have retrieved it at my convenience, much in the same way I do with all of my USPS shipped Amazon orders.

    3. Amazon could RESTART offering excellent customer service by telephone, much as they did in the past, by making it easy for customers to call in. In my calls today, Amazon's computer based telephone system asked for text verification of who I was, when I called in, before my next wait for an Amazon customer service representative. 4. Amazon should not require the customer to wait on the phone to consult with USPS telephone customer service, whom being USPS is not in a rush to get anything done. Additionally, Amazon should not be employing discourteous telephone representatives who either speak poor English and or hang up on customers.

    5. The 2 hours I lost in my day today, I will never get back. It is my sincere hope that you AMAZON and you the reader will understand the serious concern for necessary CHANGE to occur within Amazon, regarding the customer service it offers and the need to start 'once again' providing Excellent Customer Service to its customers.

    6. As a well educated man, what happened today was not only a waste of my time, it was also disrespectful, in regard to the way I was treated. There was not one time during any of these calls where I was rude, raised my voice and or was disrespectful to all parties involved. 7. I have never seen a company in my lifetime offer Excellent Customer Service over the course of many years, then have that level of customer service become 'extremely poor'. It really makes you wonder what REALLY is happening inside of AMAZON. AMAZON PRIME Grade: F (FAILURE).

I am purchased (ORDER # **) 2 items on Thursday, January 31, and it was guaranteed next day delivery. Amazon updated on Friday that 1 item was delivered at 4 pm in my apartment complex office, I went to the office 4:30 to get my package, however there was nothing there. Late at night Amazon updated again the delivered information and show that was delivered at 8:20 pm with a message. (Your package was delivered. It was handed directly to a receptionist or someone at front desk.) This is a totally lie, because the office close at 5:30 pm. And when I went there today (02/04/19) was signed in the book that was delivered on 02/02/19. So my package was not delivered on Friday and worse than that Amazon update fake information about the deliveries to avoid complaints.

The second Item Amazon updated on Friday 02/01/19 9:03 pm delivery attempted. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a secure location to leave your package unattended. We will try again. Please tell us where to leave your package if you have a preferred location.” This is another lie, because nobody tried delivery anything and there is no note at my door apartment, anything that can prove it. Until Saturday nobody delivered anything, so on Sunday I found the box in front of my apartment’s door. It is really fun because their excuse for not having delivered on Friday was because “unfortunately, we couldn’t find a secure location to leave your package unattended.” And on Sunday, was it not a problem?!

I am really tired about this fake promise about guaranteed delivered in 1 or 2 days, this already happened several times with me and what annoys me the most, it is the fact of Amazon updated fake information about the delivery status just to avoid complaints. This is an unacceptable behavior, trying to fool customers.

I will no longer renew my Prime member and also will sue the Amazon for purposely posting fake delivered updates to fool customers.

Today a delivery driver for Amazon drove into our complex behind the car of one of our residents without entering a code or ringing the unit at the front of our complex. He parked in an assigned parking spot leaving his truck running as he delivered packages. When I asked him to move his truck because our resident needed to park, he finished delivering packages and told me we are not his customers and he will basically do whatever he wants! He was not the least bit cooperative or professional, and appeared to be very pleased that he didn't have to consider our convenience or safety. I don't even know who he works for! This is not acceptable.

If the truck stated the name of the company you might be able to fix this, but a blank truck with who knows who inside our complex is not alright. There are parking spaces in front for vendors, and everyone except this guy goes by the rules. We are Amazon's customers even if this driver feels no responsibility toward us. They are responsible for hiring contractors that are professional and respectful.

In the past year, Amazon has started delivering their own packages from a depot in San Francisco and in the past 4 months I’ve experienced 5 delivery failures. From delivering to the wrong address to saying my address is undeliverable when they delivered another package the same day, to no one home to accept the delivery, we have a service called package concierge which is open 24/7. The standard response is given it a few days and if the package does not turn up let them know.

I get a lot of packages delivered to my address and in the past year, I’ve had no problems with USPS, FedEx, except UPS being a couple of days late. However, Amazon can get it right. Complaining to customer service is also a frustrating experience as they refuse to refund the order until it is physically at their return center. When I’ve requested a replacement and they have agreed to provide one day service, the package took 3 days to arrive. The main reason I pay over a $100.00 a year for Prime Service is to get 2-day delivery, and if they are unable to provide a consistently reliable service I have to question why I’d continue to a Prime Member.

I was never contacted by Amazon by any means. Since I had called them I asked for this to be reverted, the orders were legitimate and still wanted them. I received an email from the agent informing me that this was going to be resolved. Again, never heard back from Amazon. Hi, I purchased 2 American Tourister luggage suitcases on Amazon. But both the suitcases are not very good quality material. So I've requested send back both the suitcases and Amazon service centre also accepted to take send back and requested me to keep ready with the return label which they send. Both the bags are ready for the last one month. In the first week someone came to collect but refused to take saying that this bags are too big and will occupy more space in his car. 2nd week again I contacted Amazon. Again a label was send so I printed this label on both the bags but no one came to collect. Again I contacted Amazon. Again another label was send. The same person came to collect and again he refused to take with the same excuse.

Again I contacted Amazon. This time they requested me to drop the bags to the closest Hermes collection point. So I took the bags, went to the nearest point In Southall (Batra's Newsbox, 35A South Road, Southall) but they informed me that the person in charge is not available and requested me to give a try in the afternoon or evening or next morning so I had to pay taxi driver unnecessary, I called Amazon call centre and requested the operator to speak with that Hermes shop owner (it's a general store with the Hermes board) but the Amazon operator didn't agree because the Punjabi shop owner spoke Hindi. So he offered me another label saying that he will call back next day to confirm if the bags are collected. On 30 no one came and no one called. (Another lady offered me the same deal. Even she called to check saying that she will call back after checking with Hermes but she didn't call).

This morning again I call Amazon. A lady picked up the call, said that she will arrange a special collection and will call back at 7.30 because the content collect department is closed, but she never called. Between this I wasted 3 days without going to work. Lost daily income. I lost money on the phone calls. Hours on the phone calls with Amazon service centre... Time got wasted. Please note the person who comes to collect bags falsely updated Amazon saying that my phone not answered or door close. I've put a paper outside my door with two phone numbers. I've also send pictures to Amazon email. Please look into this matter and help me. Thanks.

Drives up to front steps, plays on his phone for 15 minutes, then drives back up to my gate, which he had to enter code to get in. He then drives off without dropping packages. Just then I get alert from Amazon states, could not be delivered due to no secure location. I call Amazon and speak to rep less than minute after he departed, rep tells me he can alter his route by turning around.

Next Amazon logistics tell me a second driver will get them as soon as 1st driver returns and will deliver that night. Next day at 4 pm I call again and ask where packages are. I am told they have no idea and nothing can be done as they show no tracking info. This is the 4 time packages failed to be delivered as promised. All the documentation that shows this was fraud is in my account through Amazon including it being shipped and then someone authorizing a change of address through FedEx and being delivered to another town. I also have documentation that they then called Amazon and reported they never received the camera and Amazon immediately sends out ANOTHER camera to the same name but this time it is an address in another state. I caught this 2 days before it was to be delivered to the second address and contacted Amazon for the second time that day explaining exactly what was happening. They could have literally had the item intercepted or police investigate at that time. Instead, I get the same spill that there will be an investigation and I would hear from someone in 1-2 business days.

In 2 days, I received an email that said they needed more info and gave me a link. I clicked on the link and called Amazon and again got a representative who told me the same thing and we stated the process once again. Now, 17 days later I am still trying to get someone to call me who will listen to my story. In a matter of 3 days, Amazon had absolutely no problem sending out over $2600 with of stuff to criminals on my behalf, but in 17 days, I can’t get anyone with any authority to actually acknowledge me and call me! How can it take Amazon over 17 days to figure something out that took me, a school teacher, 3 hours to figure out. I am fed up and I will NEVER order another thing through them! I have just been hung up on by Amazon. I ordered through Amazon Jan 8th of this year, an order from China. I have been ordering things from Amazon right along with my current card. The company in China contacted me and said they needed more banking information. That scared me, I thought maybe the company was a scam, so I cancelled my order. I read my order and found that Amazon had charged it to a card That I did not have. I called Amazon and Tony ** said it was charged to a card from 2007 that was cancelled years ago and Amazon should not even still have. Tony ** said he fixed it. Then I received a letter from a collection agency that said I owed Amazon Marketplace the 36.49 they charged to a dead card of over ten years plus a $25 fee.

I called Amazon again. I have been hung on four times after explaining my problem and have not received any help what-so-ever. I do not owe this bill. The company in China is not at fault. Amazon is at fault. They keep hanging up on me because no one knows what happened or how to fix it. I am furious and I want to make other Amazon customers aware. I have just been hung up on again. That is 5 times. The company in China did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong. Amazon is at fault and they just hung up on me for the 6th time. Now I am being told that I have to go to TRS Recovery services and prove to them that I don't owe this bill. I do not have a bank account or card of any kind that ends with **. I have ordered at least 20 orders from Amazon in the last three month and I only have my credit card attached to Amazon. NO bank accounts.

I do not believe that I should be the one doing the proving here and I do not believe that Amazon should damage my credit for their mistake. I am so disgusted. They are telling me that my bank account was charged. Funny. I do not have a bank account attached to Amazon. I have had the same bank account since 2005 and the last two numbers are not **. Where did Amazon did this number and why is my credit being attacked for their mistake. I just received the first call from Amazon today. They called to tell me not to post to Facebook anymore. Six hang-ups and a charge to a non-existent bank account and I am not to post to Facebook anymore. Okay, no more today, I'll wait until tomorrow.

I just received my a call back from Amazon. They told me not to post to Facebook anymore. I do not have a checking account attached to Amazon but they charged someone's checking account for my order which did not have money in it. I am now being told that this is my fault and that customer service lied to me yesterday when Tony ** told me it was a card from 2007. It is now a non existent bank account and that I have to prove to TRS Recovery Services that I do not owe this. If Amazon does not make this right, I will never quit hollering. Also, I went to TRS like they told me to dispute my claim and they want my bank account number. Are they crazy??? I do not and have not had a bank account attached to my Amazon account. Whose account did you try to tap??? Your first helper, Tony **, told me it was a credit card from 2007.

But the situation was now taken care of. Then, I received a letter from TRS recovery saying I owed $61.49. The original 36.49 and a 25.00 fee. I called Amazon and I was hung on 6 times. I was then told contract TRS. I did and TRS told me I had to go to their online site and prove I did not owe the debt. I went to their online site and I was told I had to enter my banking information. Is everyone nuts? I do not have the banking information for the ** account that was charged cause it isn't mine and never has been.

I joined Amazon Prime free 30 day trial, but it would expire prior to being charged an Amazon Prime fee of $12.99 per month if I continued to be falsely led by the seller into the next month. When I cancelled, Amazon denied fraud and was of no help in honoring my request for full refund from Hawthorne. I cancelled anyway, and notified my financial institution for my protection. Immediately, after I cancelled, I received a suspicious spam in my email. I didn't open it!!! I've ordered other products that claim to be something and I think they aren't.

I depend on Amazon for my livelihood as I do not own a car. Ever since Amazon started using their own delivery service, getting orders has been a struggle. I have specific instructions to use the call box at my apartment which calls my cell phone and I can let the driver in. I never get calls from the call box from Amazon, but sometimes they call me from a cell phone. I'm not sure why it is so difficult. Multiple times orders have been delivered to the wrong address, to the leasing office and even the janitorial closet (really). At this point I need to explore my options for grocery items and find something else. It is no fun carrying multiple cases of soda a few blocks from the rental office. Amazon offers apologies and has even assured me it will not happen again and it keeps happening.

This has happened more and more over the past 6 months. I have been a very loyal Amazon Prime customer for many, many years, but now am thinking of just ordering from other sites like Walmart or Target because they have much more dependable delivery. In the last 6 months, I have ordered much from Amazon (especially for Christmas gift shopping) and have had many packages arrive late, a few NOT AT ALL, and one order got shipped to another state at another address! When I call Amazon, they usually apologize profusely and then offer me a $5 or $10 promotional credit. Ok, but this happens so often.

Most of the problems seem to happen when Amazon uses their own driver system. Before that, when they used UPS or USPS, packages arrived on time and in 2 days. Although Prime advertises that they have 2-day shipping, most delivery promise dates are set 4 - 5 days in the future. False advertising! I know Amazon is a huge business with millions of customers, but the individual customer should matter.

When I look today on the tracking status it was changed to Item due in between Feb 5, 2019 - Feb 25, 2019... The first item due in today still shows it in transit from Aurora Colorado to Colorado Springs, left there building at 3:45am it's 6:34pm... Aurora is 40 minutes away, still no package (it's still on the way) LOL. Please. Bottom Line Prime Membership is a total waste of money and time. I called customer service and it's clear to me that Amazon cares and protects its vendors and leaves the buyers (US) in the cold. Even with a PAID membership like PRIME. Don't waste your money. Prime Membership is NOT beneficial to anyone.

Calling to check on delivery status is something the website suggests you can do, but try finding a phone number on the website. I did not choose this product nor was I told that the one I wanted was out of stock. It doesn't even look like the product I bought in the picture. It's through a third party, so now I have to wait for 2 days to see if I can even return it. It's very difficult to figure out how to get in touch with Amazon directly. Once I got to that page, it backed out in the middle of my explanation and doesn't return. I should've known to just buy through my other trusted companies.

I made a contribution to a big gift my brother and sister-in-law had put on their Amazon baby registry. I convinced others to go in on it, so that they'd have it for the upcoming baby shower. A few things to know: 1) your contribution goes towards one big gift card (not the actual item) and it can be used for anything. 2) This is non-refundable. 3) If the price of the item increases (which the item we contributed to did -- went up almost $15.00 overnight) then the registry will say the item is not fully "funded". 4) If you don't contribute to a big item then those other items will be shipped to where you choose, but those that you "contribute" to has Amazon holding the money.

I complained about this because when the item we chose was all paid for, it should freeze the price because I felt we purchased the item. I didn't realize that Amazon handles this as a big gift card and holds the cash in a "gift card" for the parents. I'd rather give the couple cash because there is a chance gift cards go unused and the company keeps all the money. Also, it is not fair that an item on the registry will increase that much once we fully funded it. It all seems very wrong to me.

Amazon charges about $20 to $40 more on every product go to the actual company's website and buy it for 20 to 30 bucks cheaper. Bought a weather temperature sensor that said they couldn't send it to me due to shipping restrictions. Went online to the company and got it for $20 less than Amazon selling it for and free shipping. It was here in 3 days. Ordered something on Amazon the same day - still waiting for it a week later. Amazon is advertising one selling fee for "Appliance" items **, but after item sells, Amazon overcharges the seller fee amount advertised, claiming it does not belong to the Appliance category, despite documentation stating in fact that "Split-system Air Conditioners" do belong to the "Appliance" category. We made several attempts to Amazon seller support informing of these facts but we received repeated responses from Amazon, unable to acknowledge the documented seller fee category fact and unwilling to honor their advertised seller fees for "Split-system Air Conditioners" which clearly states it falls under the "Appliances" category in Amazon's seller documentation. Amazon Seller support does not acknowledge the documented seller terms and fees and the "Add Attachment" button does not work or allow us to upload a screenshot of the Amazon terms.

Amazon seller support responds with... "Dear Seller, Thank you for contacting back. I'm Avanth again. I would like to inform you that your product is listed under node with category as below: Home & Kitchen/Categories/Heating, Cooling & Air Quality/Air Conditioners & Accessories/Air Conditioners/Split-System. Lastly, please note changing the product to an incorrect category may lead to suspension from Seller Performance team. And as per the Amazon catalog, the ASIN has split system with node falls under 'Home' category and was charged the correct referral fee as 15%." So ultimately, Amazon knows how to advertise a low rate, but eventually charges a higher rate, despite thousands of pages of documentation supporting our argument while Amazon seller support responds with like a broken machine record.

The bottom corner of it had obviously been dented in with a pin hole prior to being put in the box, since the box has no dents, but a small puddle of detergent from the hole. My true anger is that there is NO recourse for this damage. All six items appear to be "not eligible" for return. Why does Amazon keep shipping boxes not shipping-ready, and using such an inept carrier that would drop these boxes at my door then dart away, probably knowing I would ask them to load it right back on the truck. If I have to use Amazon again, it will be for soft-goods; they must not have this shipping thing down yet. And why can't they coordinate a pick-up time range with the carrier they've contracted. Amazon has become so big that do not care how they treat their customers. I have been a customer since 2010 and I have spent $20,000 plus with them ordering merchandise. They recently closed my account stating that I had too many returns. I have had less than 2% returns of all merchandise ever ordered with them. They said it was due to my account being closed previously for returns. This is far from the truth, my account was closed by me in Dec of 2017 due to my account being hacked. I have always suspected this hacking came from an Amazon employee but could never prove it. In Dec of 2017 this hacker went into my account and returned items and requested gift cards as credit. Then this person ordered items ($4,000) worth of merchandise and had it shipped to an address in TN another state.

I made Amazon aware of this and they did nothing to stop these shipments. I did file a police report but little could they do because it was in Amazon's hands. How I expect it was hacked through Amazon is they never sent UPS or anyone to pick up and of the items the hacker said he was returning. Amazon will always have returned items sent back. My account was closed for about a month trying to get through this. This was a nightmare. So as I mentioned Amazon just closed my account stating this is the 2nd time because of returns. The returns I have had was for 2 of the same coat that were incorrect size as stated on their website and I paid the shipping back. I wear a size large and ordered size large, did not fit then ordered a XLarge. Still too small. I had them shipped back and then Amazon closed my account.

To sum this up Amazon treats a customer of 19 years and who has spent over $20,000 with them all because they have NO competent people to do the research of why the account was closed before because of their own lack of security. I will NEVER purchase from them again, there is plenty of companies to buy from that have 2 day free shipping with comparable prices that do not treat their customers this way.

Someone stole the claim code and waited patiently until the card was registered. I contacted the retail store I purchased and they indicated to contact Amazon directly since it was third-party.

Amazon does a great job at causing you a lot of work so get ready if you go to request a refund when you are a victim of fraud. They have an investigation escalation service team that has no telephone number so everything is done by email making it very difficult to speak with someone. I provided a receipt which showed my name, last four digits of my visa, along with the proof of gift card purchase, and a front and back copy of the tampered gift card. Folks this is just simply not enough for Amazon to refund your money. In fact, they put it on your bank that you used to purchase the credit. Amazon clearly got their money and do not care if fraud is committed. While I did file a claim with my bank, they too denied the claim. I specifically asked Amazon if they would be reporting the fraud to local authorities - to date, I have been unable to receive this response. Amazon would rather protect the fraud than the victim customer.

I received an email in which they proved another customer used the claim code, could prove I was not related to the person and yet still refuse to take care of the person that was stolen from. I would strongly suggest to never purchase a gift card from Amazon because if fraud is committed, they will give you the runaround, request copies of proof, and once provided tell you that they can prove fraud was committed but will not assist you in the refund. I would expect better practices from a billion dollar company. I informed Amazon I didn't even want the refund but that I wanted to ensure the person was reported, they refuse to answer what their process is. I will continue to fight in hopes that other fraud victims do not have to go through this.

I ordered Polymaker 3D Printer Filament Sample Package, 1.75 mm Filament, PolyPlus, PLA Filament, PolyMax PLA Filament, PolySmooth, PolyFlex, TPU Filament, PolyWood, Wood Filament, Random Colors, 5 X 45g, But I received a full bundle of Polylite filament. When I contacted their US branch, the person with whom I talked was arguing, the item I received it right one only. I said it is a sample package consists of 5 rolls of 45g sample filaments. He said from the description what he can understand is it is only one item.

Anybody who reads the above description can understand it is a sample package with small rolls. The one I received is actually slightly expensive than what I ordered, but as I already have the same item, I do not have any use. He said return it, he will refund. I said, "Who will pay for the shipment." He said I have to as it is an international shipment. I asked, "For your mistake, why should I pay." He said, "That is the policy..." Wow. Great Amazon...

On January 10, I placed an order for a book that I wanted. The next day, I received an email from Amazon saying that my order was on its way and will get on the 12th by 8pm. Saturday comes and then I find out that they sent the package to the wrong USPS processing facility so now I won't be getting my order until later in the coming week. Amazon customer service would not tell me why my order went somewhere that wasn't supposed to be. I guess this Amazon's passive aggressive way of saying that I should have paid for expedited shipping instead of choosing free shipping, not that it matters. Even if I had, I'm sure Amazon would have still found a way to screw up my delivery. Thanks for nothing, Amazon.

Many months ago, I started receiving dozens of thank you emails from Amazon on different purchases that I did not make. I called and was told my account would be closed and I should open another account and attach another payment method. I did so which resulted in being charged annually & monthly for Prime. I have called at least 4 more times, each time with the employee telling me I would receive an email within 24 hours and they had no record of my previous calls. During one of the calls the employee could “see” that someone else was receiving my emails and changing my password while on the phone. The employees would not refund the duplicate charges/payments I made for almost a year and to this day, they claim I have never talked to a representative. I’ve spent hours, at least 20 hours and cannot resolve this issue.

I had bought an item on Amazon about 10 years ago. When I tried to buy something else I could not verify my account and password. They said to set up another account. When I went to do this (numerous times) I was told I could not use the e-mail I gave them because it was all ready used, I tried again with a new e-mail and user name. They said that user name is already used. It was used because it was me who had set that up my original account. They said there was no way to verify that.

It was so frustrating, so my son who has a Prime account said he would order for me and I would pay him back, which I did. When I told him about it they faxed him a return label. This did me no good because I don't have a fax machine. Other companies I have dealt with mailed the return label to you so you could return it. I'm seventy years old and that meant I would have to go somewhere to receive the fax or e-mail, print it out, go to the post office and pay for it. Not to mention the fact the return label has to have an adhesive back. I don't know where I could go for that! What also bothers me is that a twelve year old girl can charge over a thousand dollars worth of merchandise on her mother's card and account without her knowledge and I can't even get them to verify my account!

Consumers need to understand and realize how bad this bank is. Today, Saturday 1-12-19 I received my Amazon.com store card in the mail which is supported by the Synchrony Bank. Also in the mail was a letter from the same bank saying that when I called them I was to use this passcode for identity verification. I didn't quite understand that at first so I went to register my card online as a 1st time user. Even though a week ago I had updated my phone number with this company on the phone; when it came to the website it wanted to send a verification code to my 'old phone number.'

This being an impossible task I called customer service and the lady couldn't do anything about it and put me through to a different department. Here I got Jason who was a very polite gentleman and I explained the whole situation to him. After being put on hold he turned around and said, "I'm very sorry but after looking into this we have to send you out a code in the mail." I said, "Hang on, I got a code today" and I read it out to him. He put me on hold for quite some time and when he came back he said, "We cannot verify this code as it was never put into our system."

I said, "Let me get this straight, your company sent me a code to verify who I am and now that I'm trying to read the very code that your company sent to me, you're saying it's invalid! Forget about it - just cancel the card." He said, "Would you like to talk to my manager," I said, "You just spoke to your manager and there's nothing you can do about it." He replied, "Once you cancel you can never reapply again," I said, "Would you want to belong to a company that has treated you as bad as this." I told him that I'll be letting Consumer Affairs, the BBB and the Attorney General of their state know what has happened here.

Three weeks ago I purchased a set of liquid motion timers for $16.95. I didn't realize until today as I was balancing my accounts that I'd been charged $29.95. Amazon frequently combines orders or breaks larger orders up, so the totals you're charged almost never match the total you're given when you check out. Because of that, I hadn't noticed the discrepancy. When I did notice, I immediately contacted them, and they refused to refund the difference. They accused me of just forgetting how much the item was - as if I'd forget that three cheap Chinese-made plastic toys were $30! - And said they would give me a mailing label to send them back for a refund, but otherwise would do nothing.

They accused me of just wanting a "post-purchase price correction" which they as a company absolutely will not do. This isn't even the only problem I've had this week, as earlier we received a wall thermometer that was obviously used and beaten up. We've had probably 10-12 used items sent to us as brand new from Amazon over the years. A belt we returned was listed as "refund pending" and it took forever to figure out they'd refunded a different payment source, which is what caused the confusion. (And when I realized they'd refunded the wrong card, that's when I went through my purchases with a fine-tooth comb and discovered I was charged almost double for these toys.) Lots of Prime items take 3-4 days even though they're supposed to be 2 days, which others have mentioned.

If I could give zero stars I would. Today I made purchases for college that I would need before I left this coming Monday, since the purchases were for supplies I was using my debit card with my college account attached and given it's rare I do online purchases (once a year to restock on supplies) my bank had me authorize that it was in fact me making the purchase. Before I did this, Amazon told me I needed to revise the payment and I received an additional email from them about it, once I authorized it with my bank and resubmitted my order it went through without a hitch and I received an email saying it was being processed. My bank had taken out all of the money from both orders (one was a handful of MP3s which was a nightmare unto itself that I will explain shortly).

Hours later I realize that I have Prime and am yet to get an email saying my items are being shipped so I just went on to Amazon itself to check and there it was, I needed a payment revision. I called up Amazon customer service and went through the loop giving my name email address and even when providing that there were problems! When giving my ZIP code I always provide the extension as that is how I write it on my account and the first time I called (yes I had to call three separate times for three different problems with my orders today) the girl tried telling me my account wasn't mine so I asked her what she typed in and she told me the ZIP without the extension so then I told her again the code and she said that the extension doesn't make a difference so she wasn't bothering to type it.

I urged her to just please type out the whole thing and when she does her response is "Oh I didn't realize that for your billing address you typed out your ZIP code and your extension that's why it wasn't verifying because I didn't write it how you did"... So I'm already upset clearly and when I explain to her my situation about the bank charging me but Amazon saying the payment needs to be revised and that I didn't have access to the card I used because I lock it away and I wasn't home so I had no access but since I needed the items within the two day span I ordered them in I really just needed the help then and there, she told me her hands were tied, that Amazon is saying the payment didn't go through, that they wouldn't have charged me if the order hadn't been set up to be shipped and processed.

I explained I got emails saying it had and she essentially told me her hands were tied so I thanked her and ended the call and let myself calm down before calling again to speak to someone else who could maybe be able to explain to me the reason behind the payment revision because it could be a million different things so I got on the new call and it starts smooth.

I was explaining to the woman my situation and she was very helpful and kind, I asked her why I hadn't received an email about this payment revision because I know there was an issue before and I cleared it with the bank and once it was cleared I received emails from Amazon thanking me for my orders and that they were being set up to be shipped. So I was confused because yes I had received a payment revision email before but that one was solved and that was proven by how ten mins later I got emails thanking me for my orders and I was even able to obtain my MP3s.

The most frustrating thing about this is when I was telling the woman the times I got the emails she was telling me that I was wrong that I actually received them at this time and I kept telling her no that wasn't the case. I am looking at my emails and she even accused me of looking at the wrong information, this is when I realized that I am on the east coast and the CS number is out west so I told her that we are in different time zones currently and that is what the mix up was and it still took her two more mins of arguing and telling me I was wrong and was looking at some other email before what I said clicked with her.

This customer service experience only gets worse when she explains to me that the reason for the revisions is insufficient funds and that my bank personally contacted them to keep the payment from going through, I explained to her that I was staring at my bank account and at charges from Amazon that were fully processed that added up to 439 dollars. She kept telling me regardless that she knows I wasn't charged because that isn't how she was told Amazon works, I kept asking her if this is now an issue with my bank or Amazon because I was charged and since you guys are asking me to revise the payment I don't want to be charged double since this order in the eyes of my bank account has been paid for.

All she did was tell me that Amazon wouldn't charge that the bank said I didn't have the money. I read out the full bank statement, still her insisting that she doesn't think that's possible so I told her, "I don't want to be charged twice. Is there any way you can check to see if maybe it did go through but not fully on your end because of this issue and that it could be possible that my bank just hasn't gotten back to Amazon yet confirming that it is me making the purchase so maybe it's being withheld on their end." She says she will look and proves my suspicions correct that there was a withholding with Amazon until the bank confirms with them, so I again then asked her if I should wait or should cancel and reorder now that my bank is aware of the intended purchase.

She again tells me the same nonsense that there are insufficient funds that I need to revise so at this point I just hung up. The third and final time I called CS was because when I downloaded my zip file of MP3s, I was missing a few albums and I saw on the invoice I purchased them so I figured that maybe there were multiple files so I continued to hit download till it locked me out and I still hadn't received the two albums that were missing.

So I call, and it starts off awful because I give the woman all of my information - my full name, email my address, all of it and she just kept asking me for my name over and over and I would give it and she would say that isn't the name on the account so I would tell her I didn't understand. She just kept repeating "What is your full name" so I would say it and she would tell me I was wrong and eventually I looked at my Amazon and saw it said "Hello (my nickname)" so I gave her that. She automatically jumps into the "Thank for calling Amazon customer service. I see you're a prime member. Thank you for that" as if she hadn't just fought me for 20 mins over what my name was when all she had to ask was what my nickname on Amazon was considering Amazon themselves in their settings recognize that the name they greet you with is a customizable nickname.

I'm at my wit's end with my whole day at this point and it only gets worse because when I explained that I was downloading the music to my computer and the downloads were missing. She kept telling me that on the web browser you don't need to download to your computer in order to listen. So I explained that I purchased the music to be placed on iTunes so I needed to download it and the problem was that I was no longer able to because I requested too many times and now I don't have some of the music I purchased due to not being able to download.

Again, like everyone else she talked me in circles repeating everything over and over until something got through and she ended up being able to help me which I am thankful for, however it was a phone call that lasted nearly an hour and once she realized that I wasn't trying to download for offline listening and that there was in fact music I couldn't access due to not being able to download anymore, the help took two mins not even.

Amazon customer service is a roller coaster where it takes you 100 hours to get to the top of it only for the best part of the ride to last about three seconds once you start to drop. They do not pay attention to the words of their customers, are vague, wishy-washy , and overall disrespectful (the second call I made about my payment revisions you could hear people in the background yelling and talking so I told the woman I had a hard time hearing her and she told me I needed to deal with it because it is busy and everyone has a call).

I am beyond disappointed that this billion dollar company can talk a big game about being a great website and provide very fast and accommodation for everything be it having next day shipping, or their "outstanding team of customer service members" who I am sure are just trying their best at a job they may or may not enjoy and that they most certainly deal with a lot of nonsense and stress but that shouldn't mean that they talk in circles with customers and then act like it is nothing when they finally understand where the customer is coming from.

Like I have the respect to have apologized for my confusing with my Amazon nickname situation because I felt bad for being so frustrated. They cannot even apologize for spending hours giving customers a hard time until they finally realized they were wrong. Amazon as a site is wonderful. It's fast, convenient, and has everything you could imagine. HOWEVER they truly need to consider hiring a more competent and kind customer service team.

After experiencing another situation from a seller that was being nasty about a previous item that was shipped to me broken I tried getting through to Amazon through their chat line. Feeling deflated and I just needed to talk to someone. After spending almost an hour explaining to her how upset I was how is it possible to receive an invoice with all the correct information and a shoe that similar but not even the same brand.

It’s obvious they were out and I got a letter about if I kept the shoe it would be 10% off. I mentioned to the customer service representative how uncomfortable I was dealing with a third-party which she included anyways in the conversation later on. It’s like she was trying to apologize but wasn’t listening to a thing I was saying. My refund was accepted and I received a full page of instructions on how it has to be shipped back. There are at least 10 different things I have to do to prepare this package for a return out of the United States. I will never order from Amazon again and have never once had a problem ordering through Walmart.com. So unbelievably sketchy from the get go. Shame on them.

I ordered couple of items and I've seen regular unprofessional people delivering items with their child in the back seat and their other family members at front seat calling me with a Seattle phone number and asking me to go to the gate to receive my items. This is one thing, you can probably get by once or twice however now items are delivered to a public area of our community, unattended and left there without asking for signature or ringing the bell or ringing the door!

I needed the items for the weekend and my trip to another city. And every item was sort of important for this trip. It was right in midnight that called Amazon same day after seeing no delivery to report the missing items and the inconvenience. I asked them if they could reship the items or give me a refund at least to do so. And for delivery please do it in the gated area which I had no problem previously with delivering items. However not even Amazon didn't resend the items or giving me a refund, at least, to reorder the items, they are also not taking responsibility of the irresponsible, careless delivery person.

Unbelievably, they talked down to me on the phone and expected me to have a police report. What police report is going to do for me other than wasting my time. They won't give me my money back either. Now I have to travel without the items necessary because Amazon doesn't want to do its job which it was doing before. I am sorry but I'm not going to stay a customer and rather order my pricy stuff from Amazon. And from now on only the low quality plastic cheap Chinese items may be ordered through them.

My dad and I have had Amazon Prime since 2007. I recently decided to try out some of the smart home devices like Alexa and Echo Dot. These were mostly for my dad as a gift for home security when we are away. Turns out he already has the gadgets he needs so I finally return the various items. I purchased two of them on an installment plan. Little did I know that I would basically be handing over FREE money to Amazon because my return was “no longer needed” instead of “item doesn’t match description” or one of the other reason codes that apparently give you free return shipping.

Long story short, I spent a total of $140. I only got $18 back on one plug and have yet to get a return on the second. They were shipped together so how they still haven’t processed the second is beyond me. The other items on installments I got a whopping $50 back on the echo. There’s still another $40 unaccounted for but again they chalk it up to return shipping, restock fees, AND to top it off they say they issued a FULL refund but interestingly enough my return order says they still haven’t received it...

After talking to customer service rep he said he would waive the fees on the second plug, but there’s still just a message saying a refund will be issued once they receive the item. Clearly I need to have tracking devices on all Amazon returns because they want to bone me over another $8. All the rep would say is that due to policy that the additional $20-40 I’m won’t be getting back.

So I asked if policy is more important than customer satisfaction because this entire mess was enough for me to cancel after 12+ years of being a Prime member. Enter standard “I’m sorry you feel that way ma’am it’s policy” and I said I wanted to cancel right there then and he was being a snarky ** about it and sounding super happy to help me cancel. Don’t waste your money on Amazon Prime. Reduce the amount of human error and policy BS. If you do decide to keep Amazon Prime LIE ABOUT THE REASON YOU'RE RETURNING because that will save you on return shipping.

Amazon could care less whether their delivery people delivery to the correct address. Their delivery people leave packages at my house because they are too lazy to find the right address. Time wasted.

I had ordered a chair through Amazon from a different vendor. After multiple delays on my order, I did my own research and learned it was a fraudulent seller. I was really surprised Amazon was continuing to do business with this seller, that I later discovered had 95% negative ratings. Then, in a documented chat, an Amazon rep told me that I should order the chair through Amazon directly at their higher price and they would refund me the price difference after it shipped.

They've since refused to credit my account, stating it is against their policy to price match other vendors. The price was given to me before I placed my order, so I feel they were using deceptive sales techniques. I reached out to them multiple times to rectify the situation, even willing to settle for a partial refund or store credit. After getting nowhere, I filed a complaint with the BBB. They have now responded to my 3rd message through the BBB to tell me that they would no longer respond to any inquiries. My hands are completely tied because they refuse to stand behind their rep's statement. I have never, with any retail store online or brick and mortar, experienced such horrible customer service.

I have been an Amazon Prime Member for a number of years - at least 7 years. My recent experience shows that Amazon is reaping benefits from the Membership premium as well as a markup of price on the individual item that is offered "Prime." For example, I recently ordered an item that was $26.99 Prime, but also available at $23.89 shipping included and not available "Prime." I opted for the $26.99 item because I needed it quickly, but the tracking information showed the item would not be delivered for one week.

I contacted Amazon at 1 (888) 280-4331 and talked with 3 customer service agents, all whom appeared to be foreign by dialect, to request a $3.00 price adjustment since my item was not being shipped in accordance with Prime guidelines. I was told that I did not order the item offered "Prime" and there would be no credit to my account. Yesterday I received the order with a packing slip that showed I had ordered the item "Prime." I made two subsequent phone calls and talked with customer agent who were far more empathetic.

One offered a $5.00 credit to my account. The other offered a $15 credit that could be used only on an item that was offered by Amazon. The credit would not show on my account, but would be applied the next time I ordered an Amazon item offered by Amazon. Mr. Bezos is likely the wealthiest American and is buying everything from grocery stores to pill pack for packaging prescription medications. While paying his employees low wages and enriching himself, he seems to have forgotten the central figure in his overall plan - his customers.

Following this experience I have decided to reduce the number of orders I place with Amazon and to buy locally whenever I can find the item available from a local vendor. It is apparent that Mr. Bezos no longer values my membership. I will vote with my feet and re-evaluate the value of my Prime Membership before it venues in April 2019. I would encourage others to consider doing the same. And I would encourage all whose Prime orders are not received within the guidelines to contact Amazon for a price adjustment and please write your reviews, both positive and negative. I have rarely written a negative review on any Amazon product and have, in the past, been pleased with most of the products and services I have received so this is a first negative review for me, but I am seeing a decline in the Amazon Prime service.

I have an FDA Approved, Class I device that I was trying to list on Amazon. Amazon gladly took my listing fee, but will not post my product, even after sending them all the evidence they needed. I contacted customer service many times, only getting the runaround the same generic emails over and over, that they are working on it and that they know this is urgent. Yet, no calls, no emails, no urgency at all, but they did take my money. I contact BBB, and I still get the same runaround from them. They tell me to work with customer support, I do. They tell me to submit pics of the item, I do. They tell me to send them FDA approval, I do, yet, nothing happens, but they do take my money. Amazon has been the worst experience ever, but because they are so big, they don't care about the little guy anymore.

Amazon clearly doesn't understand that if they are going to charge customers for a PRIME membership and guarantee delivery by a certain date that they need to deliver as promised. I am a PRIME member. I ordered five items three days ago all guaranteed by yesterday. When they failed to delivery I could not get in touch with anyone who had answers or anyone that could tell me when I would receive my packages. The online tracking shows my packages have been out for delivery since yesterday morning and the online representative is saying I should "probably" get them by tomorrow, that would be two days late.

After reading the reviews and having knowledge of Amazon's growth over the past year plus it is clear they do not have proper system and fail safes in place to support their need for profit. Given the fact that I do not have a smart phone so I can not take advantage of my PRIME membership at Whole Foods and that Amazon is clearly not equipped to handle the volume they desperately seek I am no longer going to be a PRIME member or shop Amazon. I'd take bricks and mortar any day over shopping Amazon.

Beware - there’s a scam on Amazon where a “third-party” seller offers a great deal on electronic/camera products that sell for a very low price but require a very long shipment time. The seller’s website on Amazon had several positive reviews and they initially responded to messages/inquiries about their products, however after several weeks the status of the shipment tracking changed and they stopped responding to messages.

Amazon customer service has not been very helpful. I reported the scam to them, but they still have not issued a refund. I’ve talked with several different customer service representatives who all provide inconsistent information about how I can get my money back. The Amazon customer service team speaks broken English and are very difficult to understand. It’s becoming a bureaucratic nightmare to get my money back for a fraudulent order that I naively made through Amazon.

    DON’T TRUST AMAZON'S “A to Z” GUARANTEE!

KDP publishing services are like a "wolf in sheep's clothing." As a self published author you will lose part of yourself and will be subject to unscrupulous stuff. Yes it is free and it is voluntary. But you cannot sell your book elsewhere. Amazon also pays very low wages to independent authors, less than half a cent per page. Other self publishers are better. The people behind the scenes purposely make it where new authors can never sell a bunch of books. Amazon is only good for authors from Penguin Books and big publishing houses that want to sell digital copies (and hard copies) of their books. Amazon pretends to accommodate authors but they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

I have written over a dozen reviews for Amazon products, all rating a product or experience with 4 or 5 stars, except my most recent review. That last review was apparently "censored" and not published, unlike all the positive reviews. Amazon sent me a structurally damaged and unusable metal chair that had been advertised as "returned but like new." I should note that I have ordered 3 other such chairs, and one was indeed "like new," while the other two had superficial dings in them (so not quite up to snuff.)

However, It seems unbelievable that this particular chair was inspected prior to shipment as the damage - a 45 degree bend 4 inches from the bottom of one of the legs - was so obvious, yet the box it came in had no damage. Amazon shipped the chair via USPS, but when I wanted to return said chair vs USPS rather than UPS (UPS is 25 miles away), Amazon demanded I pay the USPS return postage, and submit photos of the damage, and then said it would later reimburse me. Their system also would not allow me to send in photos of the damage with the initial claim of a damaged item for return.

So I was stuck making a 50 mile round trip to UPS to return the chair with prepaid shipping, when in essence the chair should have just been thrown into the trash, or at least more conveniently returned via USPS, the same way Amazon shipped to me. Take home message: be leery of ordering anything bigger than a breadbox with Amazon, especially a "like new" returned item. Other companies have far more consumer friendly ways of returning and/or giving credit for blatantly damaged goods. This whole experience calls into question whether Amazon's rating system is a fair one at all.

I ordered a OnePlus 6t on 5th December 2018 through Amazon and paid the whole amount of 41,999?/- INR to them via ATM card and the product they didn't delivered till 13 and I requested them to get back their product as I have to purchase it from the retail store itself. They processed the return and the product started traveling a distance of 780kms on 17th December 2018 and it's today 8th Jan 2019 and they didn't yet refunded my money yet I called their sucking customer care more than 10 times for the amount to be refunded but they just say that it has been initiated from their side and I have to wait for next 3 to 5 business days.

I want to ask them it's been 23 days and I'm still waiting for the money to get back. Very poor service. I will ask you to please consider buying any product from AMAZON. They became ignorant and providing snail pace delivery and service. WORST EXPERIENCE AMAZON. I'M NEVER GONNA ORDER ANYTHING FROM YOU GUYS. I HAVE LOTS OF OPTIONS AVAILABLE better and reliable than you.
