I decided to cancel my account because I didn't love the food and I can cook for myself for a lot less money. I was notified that when I cancelled my account I would be charged $85.00 because it was no longer a recurring order. Seriously? Because I didn't like your product?

I started on Nutrisystem Jan. 1. In three months, I have lost 25 lbs. What I have learned the most is portion size. I am comfortably full not having eaten a huge plate of food and as Nutrisystem teaches eating 6 times a day. It couldn't have been easier.

Great experience. I changed my eating habits too. Eating so many more vegetables, less fruit, less protein, more what are they called the category with almonds or buttermilk. Oh and eating frequent small meals.

Was very pleased with ordering process and every shipment arrived on time and was accurate. Enjoyed the website and anytime I called my questions were answered in a friendly professional manner. Met my goal loss.

I have lost over 40 pounds in two and a half months on Nutrisystem. I am the owner of a radio station and as part of my job I travel a lot of evenings broadcasting sporting events and don't have a lot of time to prepare meals. Nutrisystem was the perfect diet for me. Everything was prepared for me and easy to prepare and eat. The most important part is it taught me portion control, which is a problem I have had only eating two times a day. Now I eat five to six times a day and am never hungry, even running four to five miles a day.

The program works very well for me. I would like to see more new food items in Basic and Core programs. Overall, I will use Nutrisystem again for healthy weight loss and have recommended it to my friends.

This is a very easy program to be on. The food is very good and the variety is great. The staff at Nutrisystem was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Nutrisystem worked great for me. It's the only way I was able to lose the 20 pounds I wanted to lose. It's easy, reasonably priced if you consider what you pay for each meal and the food was mostly very good.

I wish I could still do the weekends off program. I would join Nutrisystem again. I simply can't afford $300-350 a month for food. I only have a $200 budget for food.

Excellent choice of foods, actually loved this diet and lost 35 lbs. I've now changed my eating habits and feel fantastic. The food tastes great and love the fact that you also get frozen foods. I did the auto delivery and it always came in time. I highly recommend this diet to anyone.

I joined the Nutrisystem program with the intention of losing 31 pounds in 8 weeks. As I enter my 8th week, I have lost 27 pounds and am looking to lose a few more by the end of the week. The system worked for me with little or no problems or starvation. I'd highly recommend this program to those who seriously want to lose weight.

It portions out what I eat. I can swap breakfast and dinner depending on my daily schedule. I can select what foods I get to eat. I can have some form of chocolate every day. If I skip a day to celebrate, I can resume the diet without much guilt and keep going. I have lost about 15 pounds in 5 weeks and still going.

I lost 10 Pounds with a months’ worth of food. I have food for another month, so I hope to lose 10 more. The food is great, but I should have ordered more variety.

Your 5-day shakes were awful, unpalatable. I guess I needed more hands-on interactions with your consultants. Emails generally go unread. I don't know what I expected, but was not happy with your program. I have 2 months' worth of your food that will probably end up in the trash. Perhaps I had difficulty because I work nights and never knew what meal I should be eating. But, I was disappointed with your product.

I subscribed for two months, and saw a decent change in the way my clothes fit. Although I do not own a scale at home, it was easy to tell, by the fit of my clothes, that I was losing inches - and THAT is what I wanted at the start of the program. I recommend trying it out. PS - although I feared the food would taste like cardboard, IT DID NOT, and I was happily surprised at the taste!!!!

I found NutriSystem very easy to follow. The food was delicious and very seldom did I feel hungry. I have learned how to eat and lose weight and NOT skip meals as I have always done in the past when I have wanted to lose weight. I am keeping the weight off since stopping and would recommend this program to everyone.

I could not have lost this weight without the help and support of Nutrisystem. I had been overweight for almost 5 years. I needed something easy and good tasting. I got all that with Nutrisystem. I don't have time to go for weigh-ins, I have a scale right there in my bathroom. I also had the convenience of having dietary counselors available to answer my questions as needed. This is such a yummy and no-brainer program. It just doesn't get any better. Thank you Nutrisystem!

Nutrisystem is incredible! I lost 25 pounds in 8 weeks!!! I would recommend NS to anyone that is serious about losing weight and learning how to eat healthy, they will teach you how to live better.

My wife signed her & I up for the 2 month plan. We didn't realize a weight loss and much of the processed food wasn't good to the taste or for our health. Needless to say, we called and cancelled the program. However they charged us $89 to cancel and then continued to ship. We called again and they tried to say we only cancelled one order and gave us a return label. Then they charged us the full price again. I called for the refund and again they held back $89 claiming it's in their fine print. Said we could have returned first month's for a partial refund but didn't say that when we cancelled. We threw the stuff out and recommend others be careful with this company.

I tried Nutrisystem and suffered Migraines from all the processed foods. Even though my told me to try it and see if it helps. Nutrisystem would not give me my money back because it was past the 30 days. They do not take any situation personal they make not exceptions. This company is supposed to help people but yet they don't even understand when a medical condition prohibits you from using their product. I am very disappointed in my decision to ever deal with this company at all. Stay away from them.

I received a package for woman and I'm a man, and very different from the order that I made. I called two times, but I didn't receive any help, and the second operator was very rude. I put the order on the trash! Never, I'll order again from Nutrisystem.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Nutrisystem. Other than not being a fan of beans, everything was good and easy to make. I have already recommended it to a few people that I know are interested in losing weight. I will definitely come back to the program if ever I need to in the future.

I am very happy to get back to my size. I already lost 10.5 lbs and my clothes are looking good on me again. The food is good and there is a good variety to choose from.

Honestly it's expensive and a little scary to make that kind of commitment to a diet. That being said my experience was fantastic. The food is really good and I'm a very picky eater. The first five in seven days was a little difficult and honestly I was afraid to step on the scale afterwards. But I lost 9 pounds in the first 7 days. Once you get to the actual 28 day program you get a lot more to eat and I usually ate every hour all day. My goal was 20 lbs and I figured it would take about two months. I lost 22 lbs in 34 days. I was amazed I didn't exercise much but I do have a pretty active job. I just received my second 28 days and I've already exceeded my goal. So now it was time to cancel and to be honest I thought it was going to be a hassle. To my surprise it was very quick and easy. They asked me how it worked for me, said it was cancelled and I received an email instantly showing it was cancelled. I would definitely recommend this program. Just a side note I did cheat on this diet a couple times and it still worked.

I have been using the Nutrisystem 5 day kit box I purchased at Walmart and have lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks on it. I love it, so easy and food is delicious. I like the "homestyle" choice the best. Thought I would never be able to lose due to menopause and slowed metabolism but I was wrong. Nutrisystem works! It really does! Worth every penny to me :)

I began NS in March of 2013 at 178lbs. In March of 2014 I am 135lbs. I stopped eating NS pre-packaged foods at 6 months and eating from NS recipes and portion guides. I have continued to follow the NS eating guide and continue to have successful weight loss. I would like to get the 40 & 50lb bears but when I stopped ordering food from NS, I was locked out of the website. It was my understanding that NS was a lifetime community.

I had been struggling with weight in middle age and I am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, I was going to a gym 4 times a week with no changes on the scale! It was frustrating to say the least. My husband and I started Nutrisystem together. We are on it 5 weeks. He has lost over 15 lbs and I have lost over 10. Most of the food is very good and we feel satisfied! We would highly recommend this diet to anyone needing to lose weight.

I have tried dieting on my own, but never succeeding. My problem was that I couldn't control how much food I out on my plate. After watching the commercials about Nutrisytem on t.v. numerous times, I decided to give it a try. Not only did it teach me the right portions of food to eat, I began losing weight the very first week! I was so excited!

I tried NutriSystem for several months and did lose weight very slowly as the diet doesn't fit my work schedule. However, the food gave me and my sister severe gas and has triggered both our bowel diseases to flare up. I do not recommend this food to anyone with any kind of bowel disease. The pain is not worth it.

My goal was to lose 25 lbs, getting to 200 lbs. Everything went so well. I lost 40lbs and 5 inches from my waist. I am very pleased and even excited when I tell people how I did it. I had a very good experience with Nutrisystem. My biggest problem losing weight was portion control. This diet solved this problem for me. I did not over eat. I also did not get hungry. I canceled my order because I felt that I had overcome this issue. Also, Nutrisystem was a little over my food budget. However, like I said, I believe that I can now utilize the lesson I learned from your guidelines. I would recommend a trial of your products to friends. I lost 12 pounds in five weeks. If I find that I cannot control my portions I will restart your program.

Nutrisystem sucks!! I paid $229.00 for my first shipment and all the foods are the same!! Repeats!! I guess $230.00 doesn't buy what it used to. I am hungry all the time, I don't think that's how it should work. When I canceled any future shipments, they charged me a cancellation fee of $61.50!! What!!? What a crock!! Will never do business with Nutrisystem again!! I can eat Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers dinners and get better results. That's all I got. Sorry, but true.

I had been struggling with losing the last ten pounds to reach my normal BMI. After my hip surgery, I decided that the convenience of Nutri-System would help me by not having to worry about preparing meals. It was so convenient having the three meals and snacks right at my finger tips and ready to go into the microwave. The food was good and nutritious. I didn't get hungry and was not tempted to cheat. I kept a list of my grams of protein and fiber. Adding an English muffin each day added only one hundred calories and the needed nutrients to meet my protein and fiber needs. This might be something you would consider as part of your plan. Overall, I would rate Nutri System as excellent.

Overall had a good experience with Nutrisystem. The food was good and I was able to determine which meals I liked best. Had great experiences with the customer service that was provided over the phone. If I felt like I needed to go back I would and know I would be successful again.

My experience was a good one. Specifically, I learned that I need to change the types of foods that I eat and the frequency upon which I eat them. It was an enlightening experience.

I am a 66 year old male that was a bit overweight to the point of not feeling comfortable with myself and fitting into my clothes. Over the years I have always used the "Fit for life" diet which is mainly fruits and vegetables. It had always worked for me when in my 30's, 40's and into my 50's. When I reached my 60's I found I could no longer stick that type of diet. At the very start of last year I decided to stop eating carbs and to cut down my sugar intake. I lost 11 pounds in two months doing that but during the course of the year I put it all back plus. This year I decided to try the Nutrisystem diet and was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food as well as the results I achieved. I lost 25 pounds in seven weeks. I feel and look so much better and I am much more comfortable getting around.

I was on but stopped using Nutrisystem about 10 months ago because we were moving to a new home. So now I have the time to get back on it. I wanted the same plan as before but they would not give me the same price that I had paid. I've talked to a few reps and each one said they couldn't match the price I had paid before. The last time I called they were only $6 off from reaching a deal with me and were supposed to check with a manager and get back to me. I had asked to speak to the manager and they refused saying they couldn't do anything different. So this is how they treat former customers? The food was good. I don't know if they offer the same as before as far as the food selection. But the one drawback had always been how expensive they were. That is why I won't pay anything more than what I had paid before. Good luck to everybody trying to get things resolved with them.

I was told that the food I could not eat would be replaced. I talked to a man called Jeff on 2/5/14. As so yet, I have still not received the replacements. They sat on my tea cart until this AM. I went almost a week without the lunches and dinners because they were way too spicy for me to eat. I cannot recommend such a company

A lot of the food was very good, like the white chili, pancakes, chicken breast, lunch pau noodles (not sure of spelling) and bagels. But some was just plain disgusting. I threw out the risotto, and did not like the cinnamon rolls or the turkey and stuffing. If a person sticks to the program and doesn't stray a lot then I believe one can lose weight. I stopped because of the expense and not being totally committed.

The Nutrisystem plan worked well for me. Lost 16 pounds in 2 months. Followed the plan very closely, logged all my food, exercise, etc online or on the phone app. I'm not a huge dessert person so didn't have many snacks.

As others have noted, there is a fee (payback of discount on first box) if you cancel your second shipment and you have to pay for return shipping. Paid about $260 for first month and then canceled second month and had to pay about $90 in fees and shipping. Also took about 30 minutes to get it accomplished. I did not even realize there was a second shipment on the way until I received email that it was sent. It was an impulse buy because I was really excited about losing weight and not being hungry. Unfortunately I was hungry since I eat a lot and then to go on the fast five with it's very limited calories. I guess biggest complaint would be that I wish there was better understanding of what to expect with cancellations, automatic shipping and returns. I was willing to take the $260 investment to give it a shot but was disappointed in paying the extra $90 when it did not work for me.

In my family I have several members that have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). It would be nice to have a program for them. Because of the restrictions they have a hard time finding weight loss products.

Nutrisystem taught me a lot about portion control and eating 6 small meals a day which I have carried over into a current vegan diet.

The foods that were decent have been discontinued. Most foods were bland and appeared to be high in sodium. Nutrisystem really does not teach you how to eat when you are done with the program.

A few days ago I responded to your email - The five day, weekends off plan, etc. I followed all of the online steps and never got processed. Did that twice. Next day, or two, tried again, same result. Corresponded with a counselor, asked a couple questions and was instructed to continue with my process for purchase. Nothing happened. Need some answers or please remove me from your email lists.

41 lbs lost in 13 weeks. It is a great way to lose weight and I recommend it to my friends and family. I followed it and worked out 6 days a week and the weight came off quickly. I tend to put some weight back on and would buy a months food at a time if I didn't have to get it for at least 2 months to get a pricing special.

This program is a hassle, hassle, hassle! Portions are smaller and calorie counts higher than what you can do on your own at the grocery store. I was starving all the time. Energizing shakes made me shaky. Frozen food arrived thawed and getting it replaced took an argument. Counseling consists of yelling at you if you don't follow their rules, even though it makes no difference. They're really going to tell you that weighing too often will make you gain weight! Or that an extra 10 calories a day of unapproved coffee creamer, when your total daily calories consumed is 1041, is the entire reason you gained weight! I can lose weight on larger portions of Special K, Lean Cuisine, etc., for a total daily calorie count of 1,000, without being hungry, and no one yells at me. :-) Am returning it for a refund. I'll have to see if that is a hassle, too! Go ahead, Nutrisystem, pipe in with how you're sorry to hear about my experience and you'll look into it! Yeah, sure!

Nutrisystem sent me a shipping label to return the food, which was all I had wanted.

I started last week with the Fast Five program and stuck to the plan as described and lost 5.5 lbs in a week. Have now moved onto the program and on day 4. Great program for a weight loss plan. Food is good for a diet plan and you eat tons of other items. I can't even fit my dessert in each day. Would recommend!

I had stop smoking 2 years ago and gain 40 lbs. I try everything to lose and I DID not succeed. I met a lady one day she had lost a lot and that's when she told me about nutrisystem. I started on the diet January 1 2014 and today is February 11 and I lost 23 lbs so I think this is great. I would recommended to my friend for sure. Thank you.

I decided to try Nutrisystem after having my third child! The food was not bad but it was not the greatest! Customer service is absolutely awful with this company! Before paying such a great amount, I did a chat with a representative. Honestly they don't go into detail with what you'll receive and such. I ordered and thought I was supposed to get the fast five shakes as well. I never received them with my order so I called customer service to only be on hold for 30 mins and then to be told, "No, your package did not include that. Anything else?" I'm sorry after paying over 200.00 and waiting 30 mins to dismiss me so fast. I did email customer service and they shipped me the fast five.

My experience has been totally positive. If you want a plan that definitely works, and if you can combine that with some discipline and exercise, you will lose weight properly and in a totally healthy fashion. A wide variety of foods will satisfy even some of the fussiest eaters, and the food is quality. Just do not expect to get a feast in a box. You will get good food, and good taste. Portion sizes and calorie counting are already taken care of for you! The snacks in between main meals easily gets me through the day without feeling the pangs of hunger. Many of them are like eating a good dessert and are satisfying. Expect to lose 5-10 in the first two weeks, and at least 2 per week thereafter if you stay strict with the plan. Exercise quickens the weight loss and your own discipline will surely make things happen.

I very much like to have this being I am always on the go and do not have time to do anything but heat and go. It fits my lifestyle to a tee.

I am a new Nutrisystem customer, joined to improve health and the convenience of the program. I am nearing the end of my third week on the program, really love the food and have lost weight according to their estimates. I am over all pleased. However, the company advertises the ability to adjust your order. This capability has been unavailable through their website for at least 10 days to my knowledge. They have placed no communication on their site. Meanwhile, customers spend considerable time seeking out this functionality. When I called their 800 number last week, they said it would up and running in a few days.

I highly recommend the Nutrisystem. It worked for me in taking off 7 lbs. My only recommendation is to be more selective when ordering the initial Nutrisystem pkgs. I did not use some of the items that I would have gladly substituted with other Nutrisystem products.

I liked most of the food which I was surprised how good it was for diet food. I have tried to lose on my own several times and without success. The plan was easy to follow I would recommend and would do again if needed. The reason for only 3 stars is price. I didn't like the having to commit to auto delivery to receive the discount. Also when you cancel, you lose the discount if you start over again.

I would highly recommend Nutrisystem. I have gained 10 lbs. over the last couple of years and have had no success losing it. I have lost 7 lbs. over the last 2 weeks. The first week was very difficult for me. I craved sugar all the time. Now I would love a sugary treat, but do not crave it. I love that my menu is planned...makes everything so much easier. I still have 2 more weeks to go and plan on keeping the weight off, using the Nutrisystem foods when I need to. I would also like to add that I am not starving on this diet and look forward to the dessert at the end of the day.

The basic program is good - the food, the education, the framework for diet discipline, etc. Customer service is abysmal and oriented toward revenue maximization. Orders were frequently shipped early or with improper contents. The system to delay shipments or changes orders is often ineffective. Most telling, it is very difficult to find out how to cancel your plan. It can't be done in any way I could easily (after 30 minutes on the web) find; it required a telephone call.

I went on Nutrisystem for five full months. I dropped 49 lbs. More importantly my diabetes which was totally off the charts became within the range of 80/120 within a week after starting the program. Additionally Nutrisystem taught me portion control and how often to eat. I have tried every diet there is on the market. Nutrisystem is the only diet that has ever worked. I fully recommend it not only to lose weight but to conquer diabetes by keeping your sugar count under control.

And Nutrisystem really works! I have thyroid problems and losing weight has always been a problem. With Nutrisystem, I was able to lose the wait and the food is wonderful! I will recommend it to anyone who is really committed to get in shape and enjoy delicious food.

I was going to start ordering since I got a good result last time I used your service, and I was expecting to get a good deal as a returning customer. I noticed some changes like paying additional $20 to have customize the meals!!! I chatted with your rep yesterday and he said I got no discount as a returning customer but only $20 off on my first order. It really disappointed me and I am not going to use this service again. Returning customers should get better deal to be encouraged to come back again.

Nutrisystem works for me - I like too that you order and the shipment arrives - no meetings, no stores/centers to go to for food, etc, and reminders that a new order is due. All good. However, I had not been advised that there would be an extra fee to customize my order, and I was disappointed that I got many, too many breakfast and lunch bars, rather than other food options. But, food is tasty and I like that a counselor is available to help with program success.

I lost 45 lbs with Nutrisystem in 4 months. The system works fantastic if followed properly and exercise is done regularly. The system teaches you to eat proper portions, to eat throughout the day and to eat the proper foods to fulfill your appetite and remain healthy in the process. I would highly recommend Nutrisystem to anyone; in fact, I already have 2 friends that have jumped on since they have seen my weight loss.

Nutrisystem's food is very good and I would recommend it as a good way to lose weight. The price is fair in comparison with prepackaged foods in the store. You can also choose your food and dietary needs.

I'm very happy with my results. This is my last on the woman's core plan and ordered the transition meals to help me to wean myself off the program and also teach me how to eat and keep the weight off. I am feeling so good and have so much more energy.

Nutrisystem was a great experience for me personally. It was just what I needed at a time in my life when I didn't know what else to do. I have lost 32 lbs. and feel so much better. The prepared meals is what I really like. I live alone so didn't have anyone but myself to have to cook for. So just going to the freezer or cupboard made it ideal for me. The first couple of weeks were the hardest but after that I was very determined. It is really what worked for me. I did start to exercise also and forced myself to do so. And after a while it did become easier because you just add it into your daily routine. I would definitely recommend this changing lifestyle to anyone who needed it. Because it is a lifestyle change. The low fat content of Nutri-system food allows you to avoid hunger and loss weight at the same time. I lost 30 pounds and plan to lose 20 more. My only complaint would be too many bars as meal replacements. The actual foods are mostly appealing. I plan to order a-la-carte for the next 20 pounds. Thank you Nutri-system.

Forty seven years ago, on my 18th birthday, I was 162 pounds. Now, I was pushing 190 pounds and still gaining, even though I was trying to lose. After receiving a $5 discount coupon-card in the mail, to be applied toward the purchase of a five-day box of Nutrisystem meals available at Walmart, I decided I should give it a try. Immediately, within 72 hours, it was working. So excited, I wound up buying two more five-day Nutrisystem meal boxes before signing up and receiving my first monthly shipment. I quickly learned which meals and snacks were my favorite and refined my monthly orders accordingly. Within seven months I lost 25 pounds and retired from the system. Thank you Nutrisystem!

I didn't realize that you could eat too little and gain weight, but that what I was doing. I was eating only 1 meal a day and it was late at night just before I would go to bed. Nutra Systems got me on a schedule with balanced meals and in less than 3 months I lost 15 lbs. I have stopped at this point due to personal reasons, but do intend on returning later in the year....THANK YOU for getting me on the right track.

My husband and I were on Nutrisystem together which made things much easier in our household. I needed a program that "did the work for me" and not one that I'd have to figure out calories, sodium, fat content, etc. Nutrisystem fit that description. We lost 50 pounds each!! Then 2012 hit. It was a horrible year for our family and having to drive back and forth from Northern Michigan to Southern Michigan numerous times and having to eat on the go just did not do either of us any good. Needless to say, we gained it all back. After watching our old BIG clothes coming back into the closet we finally got disgusted and said, "WE ARE GOING BACK TO NUTRISYSTEM BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING WE KNOW THAT WORKS FOR US!!"

I have a busy lifestyle. Seems like I am always travelling somewhere or involved in some project! Nutrisystem afforded me a wonderful opportunity to have good food on the go! During the holidays, I sidetracked from the Nutrisystem meals and ate regular holiday food. Thanks to the good "training" on eating the right food in the right amount, I was able to maintain my weight loss! After the holidays, I went back on the program and reached my goal weight. The concept is very seductive. Meals planned and measured for a month and sent to the individual. The food however, as should be expected is processed with who knows what preservatives! IN addition everything is was so sweet. While monk sugar is used as claimed it's still a processed sugar. Our bodies rejected it. It made us nauseated and dizzy. I am not sure how their national figures who have loads of money eat this food, but I am pretty sure they have different meals they eat. This is definitely not a healthy way to eat or lose weight. Nothing like fresh foods! Like many of the above reviews state, they are a little shady on their return. I had only had it one day and they were wanting to check if I could cancel my plan! They did cancel it.

Service - phone and delivery were wonderful. Products however were too processed causing gas and constipation. No hunger. But just didn't feel like food was very nutritious.

I also have spoken to Felicia in the past and wanted to say that she was a wonderful customer service person, but you never sent me a review form that time. Not only did we lose the weight very easily, but I lowered my cholesterol by 35 points, and avoided having to take a statin.

I order the Nutrisystem...... as seemed perfect. Did not want to think about what to eat, just grab and go. I did the fast 5..... but when I started the real program, found it took more than grab and go. I was not happy about the food, etc. Called and 1st person ended up hanging up on me! 2nd person was nice but said for $61 AND return the food I could cancel! I was told when I ordered it was money back guarantee AND they would even send me the box to return, etc, no cost to me! I simmered a while but hate being taken advantage of so called back. 3rd time was the charm, I was under the days to return, full refund (once they get the food back) no box to send me but they did send label to return at no cost to me... Now I am returning (once I get my $ back will feel better/satisfied) so it worked out. This system is probably good for certain people..... but not me!

I started Nutrisystem on January 13th. I need to lose about 50 lbs. I began with the Fast 5 and surpassed the 5.... I lost 5.6. After my 2nd week, I was down 8.2 lbs and I even went out to eat one night. I am not at all hungry; in fact, I feel like I eat too much food. Besides making the program dummy proof, Nutrisystem teaches you how to eat. I am beginning to have a new relationship with food. I decided to try Nutrisystem- they have a 14 day money-back guarantee so I thought why not? WRONG...Firstly they say- give us 14 days- which doesn't mean use for 14 days. Your 14 days start upon order date- so of course, I was outside of their 14 days. The portion size is extremely small- much smaller than SmartOnes nor is it near as tasty. Eating the food gave me extreme headaches- nothing needs to be refrigerated so the preservatives and chemicals that must be in the food is surely astronomic. You can practically taste how unhealthy it is.

My husband and I recently signed up for NS and just completed our Fast 5 week. We stuck to it perfectly. Did not lose 5 lbs. and I worked out 45 minutes a day. I plan to stick with it because we have another month worth of NS food to eat. So far the food is NOT good. In fact, I called this morning to return the pot pie and the fettuccine Alfredo. They are worse than hospital food! The sauce is not even close to desirable and smells awful. We called customer service and they were very nice and agreed to replace these meals. THANK YOU!

Nutrisystem charged my credit card without authorization and the LIED about doing it. When I called my bank, I found out that this company attempted to charge my card without authorization three times but the first two were rejected. When I called to resolve, the customer service rep was rude, ignorant, and hostile. This company will never see my business again. And the food is NASTY! STAY AWAY!!! Protect your credit card from companies like this. BEWARE CONSUMERS!

I tried NS for 1 week & lost a little less than a pound, but the food wasn't good. There was too much sodium. I drank a lot of water, but my fingers were still swollen in the mornings. The people on the message boards claimed that NS was lower in sodium, but I don't find that to be true. If you buy decent food & products, it is not lower. If you buy cheap junk food, it is lower. There are also a lot of additives to the foods. If the ingredient list contains names you can't pronounce, then I would stay away from foods like that. I like their website. It helps you organize your meals & calculates calories. I was within the 14 day trial period when I called to get a refund & they were accommodating. I would not recommend this simply because the food just doesn't taste or look appetizing. This picture is their turkey & stuffing! You decide.

Nutrisystems is a great program. I never felt hungry and lost weight. There is quite a variety of foods and yes, there are desserts. I was able to feed my sweet tooth so that I didn't feel deprived. I would highly recommend giving this program a try. You will be so pleased with the results.

I have used Nutrisystem on 4 different occasions, losing weight every time. The most important feature about the program that keeps me coming back is the ease of use. Prepackaged food that only takes 1 min to prepare allows me to use the program successfully at work (I only have 4 20-min breaks during my shift). The food tastes great! Only reason I have to get off of the program for a while is b/c I can't afford to stay on it on my budget. Wish it was more affordable.

I had a great experience with Nutrisystem. It was easy to get started on the program. I never had any issues with my orders, shipment and billing. When I decided to end the program the representative was very nice and didn't make it difficult for me to cancel. They left me feeling that I could and would want to come back in the future.

I was very skeptical about this program. My thinking was always that eating prepared meals doesn't really equal a lifestyle change. And what happens when you go off the food? You gain all the weight back, right? Also, eating box meals didn't seem healthy to me. But after reading reviews, I slowly began to change my mind - at least enough to try it. People talked in reviews about how Nutrisystem teaches you portion control, and the importance of eating several small meals through the day, so this diet actually DOES contain those lifestyle changes/lessons. AND I realized that it's not just the food they give you - you get to supplement with fresh veggies and fruit, yogurt, nuts, etc. That seemed a bit healthier.

I received my shipment of Nutrisystem which shipped on 1/9/14; today is 1/19. I'm not sure how long it takes to receive after shipment. Upon re-reading Terms and Conditions (and letters from other unhappy customers) it appears I'm "forced" into TWO shipments OR pay "a lot" to cancel, so I will receive my second shipment and THEN attempt to cancel. Upon reading other complaints, "cancelling" appears to be next to impossible.

I cannot rate my experience because I will not try Nutri System even though I want to. First, it is not gluten free, second, no talk of GMOs, 3rd, too much sugar, should be sugar free. This is not a good program for people who fall into the gluten free, non GMOs, sugar free lifestyle and NO MEAT!

I got onto their site and chatted with one of their people. After I got all the information including the cost if I decided to cancel before the end of the first two months. I was told it will be $30. I ordered my basic plan for men. The order arrived after 4 days, when I opened the box I saw that the kit was missing. I called customer support and the gentleman told me the kit will be sent to me. That was on Friday, the 10th of January. To be on the safe side, I emailed them about it on Sunday afternoon and got a reply that evening that my kit will be sent shortly. By Friday, the 17th, the kit hasn't arrived yet.

Easy to use meals which is helpful when you are in a time crunch. Counselors are helpful without being pushy. I enjoyed the menus section.

I learned that I do not need large amounts of food at each meal and that several small meals during the day really works well.

My husband is able to log into the site to log his food, weight, and measurements. I can go into his site, under my account, Manage my next auto-deliver order, select and order to review, check my name (family plan member), and choose my foods to order. But I can not log into the site under my name and password to log my information. I have spoken to customer services many times and they can not fix it. In the very beginning I could get on, and I was able to log my information. But now I can not. When I was able to get one, the 1 time it showed the info for 2009. This is frustrating.

NS taught me how to eat and completely revamped my perspective of portion control. The food was much better than I thought it would be. Good choices. Excellent customer support. The web site and mobile app needs serious work. It is cumbersome and difficult to navigate even for someone who is computer savvy. I have much more success using Fitness Pal (free) to log my daily intake and find the recipe builder and bar code scanning feature very very easy to use and extremely helpful. I can scan the bar code from an NSA meal and the nutrition info and calories are instantly logged into my meal selection. Exercise is easier to log and the option to add personal activities to the list of choices is simple. The bar code scanner is perfect when shopping for healthy foods. I suggest NS take a look at the site.

I placed an order due to the appealing 5lbs - 5days gimmick. However this does not apply to everyone ordering (specific plans eliminate this option). I was unaware until I got my package. When I received my order my age was wrong. I also noticed some items were high in sodium which when making the purchase, I selected the D plan due to family predisposition with diabetes and was told that the plan was to also watch sodium.

Nutrisystem takes the work out of getting back to health. I enjoyed the simple way of fixing food. The treats were the best I have ever eaten.

Guessing you know this, but it's become very difficult to sign up for the monthly shipments. Not sure if mine was an isolated case, but have tried four times to sign up and have failed each time. Suspect it's like Obamacare web site. It would not let me get around the "optional" shake offering (tip to others - if you click "No" buttons about 30 times you can get by it without buying the "optional"shakes), I'd enter my personal information three times and had it lost each time when I tried to go to the next screen, and finally last night I'd made it all the way through and clicked "Purchase" button and discovered that it didn't work and I'd have to start over.

I live alone so it was easy for me to just eat the food and drop the weight. I never got hungry and it was so easy since I didn't have to cook anything and had few pots and pans to wash.

When I started Nutrisystems I was 155 pounds, was sluggish and tired all the time. Within 3 months, I was down to 132 pounds and felt great! My goal was 125 and this month I made this goal. With this program, I have learned that it is important to eat 5-6 times a day and with the list vegetables and power foods, I was never hungry. I have more energy than I ever had and I intend to continue eating right to keep the body working like a machine.

My husband and I were very pleased with our results. It was important to us not to have to put much thought into planning our meals so using Nutrisystem gave us the head start we needed to lose the weight. Our only complaint is the monthly cost is more than we would want to pay long term because you also need to buy extra foods as filler but over short term, excellent choice of a plan.

I found Nutrisystem to be very helpful in teaching me how to eat. Not just in terms of portion sizes but also in what types of food to eat at what time of the day. The quality of the food for the most part was good to very good. The pieces of chicken that were included in meals were tasteless and at times hard. The chicken patty was quite the opposite as it was good. The only 'concern' I had was the amount of sodium. Although not exceptionally high, it was still too high in my opinion. The experience for me was a very good one and I thank you!

I was overweight to the point of having diabetes and sleep apnea. I tried all kinds of weight loss programs and none worked. So I tried your diabetic program. In about 2 years, I lost from 274 down to 200. My sleep apnea is no more and I am a diet controlled diabetic. It worked great for me and I am going to stay on it if I can't control my weight myself. I will try myself for about 4 months and see what happens.

I had 2 years struggling with my weight after I had my baby. My husband heard about Nutrisystem from his college and he commented to me when he came home. I said I want to start this tomorrow. Next day, I went online and I ordered my first 28 days of food. It was amazing how I started to look like myself again and immediately I started to be happier the first month. I thought it could not be possible but it is Nutrisystem save my life in some ways. I lost 21 pounds and now I look like I used to look before my pregnancy. Now I know how to eat, and small portions are part of my routine.

Everything was fine until last month and this. I no longer get notices of when shipment of my monthly supply is due or when it has been shipped. Correspondence of delivery has disappeared.

I managed to lose 75lbs over a 7-month period using Nutrisystem. The food although bland was overall good and all the additional tools on the website were very helpful. It was difficult to stop the auto billing. If the food was cheaper via a la carte, I would probably continue to buy some of it, but at the current prices, it's just cheaper to go to the grocery store and purchase something that works as well.

The program is too expensive for what you get. There is absolutely no reason to charge as much as you do for the food.

Using Nutrisystem Select weekends off was perfect for my lifestyle. During the week it was easy to keep on track. The frozen foods were very tasty. Then when the weekend came, I used the log book and eat what I wanted with friends and family but maintained portions and made better selections. I lost 30 pounds and so happy with Nutrisystem that I intend to go back just for maintenance.

It would be good if there was a way to continue on some products at a greatly reduced price rather than only offering products on a per price basis, once weight loss is complete.

I started the Nutrisystem diet at the beginning of May 2013. As of November 26, 2013, I have dropped 44+ pounds. I have taken 6+ inches off of my waist, and shirt size has dropped from XL down to M or L depending on the cut of the shirt. No way I could have done that before. For me, this was a very easy system to be successful with. Don't get me wrong, there were days where I could have chewed off my own arm I was so hungry. But by sticking with the program, I ultimately have results. How did I overcome the hunger during those times? I did not, but I ate an apple or an orange or some choice that was a good choice. So if I were going to eat something extra, it wasn't going to hurt my progress. With the extra food, a big glass of water helps for the fuller feeling.

I lost 15 pounds on Nutrisystem from Jan. to April 2012... As of today to be honest, I gained back 10 lbs of it.... I wanted to go back on the program, but now I have been advised to lower my sodium intake and most of the foods on the plan have too much sodium... but it really is a great program and so easy to follow...

Initially, I used the NutriSystem food for 5 months. During that time, I lost approximately 23 lbs. I was wearing initially a "tight" size 14. Now I am wearing a perfect fit to loose fit size 12. I tried a lot of things, but nothing worked for me. Then I went with Nutrisystem. The food is excellent, except for 2 or 3 items. But you have a LOT of choices. Yes, you add fresh veggies and fruits, and there are "extras" to add. Makes for a complete and satisfying meal plan. I lost 57 pounds in about 6 months. So it's not a quick loss plan, but a good, healthful plan that I still follow and am staying right where I want to be. My mom would be happy that I eat a salad every day.

My wife and I are on the Auto-Delivery Plans and while the weight loss is working, Nutrisystem needs to work on its Customer Service and shipping practices. NS's auto delivery shipments are supposed to go out automatically every 28 days to conform with the 28-day diet plan. My auto delivery shipment, which should have gone out the 2nd now won't ship until at least the 5th, likely causing a break in our diet plans. We were doing so well. NS's first customer service rep promised me the shipment would leave on the 4th but it hasn't. Promise broken.

Five years ago, I was recovering from double hip replacement surgery. I had gained more than seventy pounds due to lack of movement. I started 2013 at 257... I am currently at 206.4. I've lost 51 pounds and 5 inches in my belt. I am off of Nutra System temporarily. I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and will be having treatment, 5 days a week, starting in two weeks till April, so the say. But I hope to get back on the diet and lose another 26 pounds. At 5 foot 8 inches and 257 pounds, I was almost as big around as I was tall.

Lowered A1C from 7.7 to 5.8 and lost thirty pounds in twelve weeks. Have reduced meds and feeling great. I have no doubt that I can maintain these results.

I lost 50 lbs on Nutrisystem and used Nutrisystem food to help ease back into my own food while maintaining my weight loss. It was easier than other weight loss programs (tried them all) because decision making and portion control were out of my hands. My only difficulty is that I am allergic to milk so my food choices were somewhat limited. Otherwise, a great program. Highly recommend.

The program is great! As long as you stick to plan, you will definitely lose the weight. The tools that are needed are given to you 24/7 with the Nutrisystem site and any questions that need to be answered are on the forum. Starting from Newbies to the well experienced! Customer service is wonderful.

I used Nutrisystem this second time because I knew I would get results since I had used it about 8 years ago with good results. I like the fact that it is regimented because I can do that. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about what I'm going to eat or cook for my husband because he is on his own when I do Nutrisystem. He has used it as well with good results. It all boils down to portion control and eating. More smaller meals. I do wish you had better coordination with jawbone UP and better ways to add other foods in my foods category like My Fitness Pal. I will be using that going forward.

I have used Nutrisystem twice. The first time, I lost 10 pounds, and the second time I lost a bit more than 20. I found the portion control aspect most helpful. The second-best thing about Nutrisystem is that the food is good. I particularly like the new frozen foods. Third, the food fills you up! I don't know if that's because of the glycemic index thing or lots of fiber, but I found that I didn't go hungry.

The weight loss products work. I was able to lose 18 pounds. I was averaging 5 pounds per month. I am happy with the results. Now my challenge is to keep it off in a smart eating way. The food was not as good as advertised. Some was good and delicious. The tomato based products were a bit too much for me. I could taste the preservatives. The tomato based foods were not at all to my liking. The Sloppy Joes were not good either. If I had to do it again, I would know what foods to totally eliminate from my choices. Other than that, the methods used for dieting work. That I am satisfied with the Nutrisystem weight loss plan.

Food is not bad. They used to have an excellent website where a Nutrisystem member could log on and navigate the website very easily, gathering information from other members and Nutrisystem dieticians/moderators. HOWEVER, they have recently changed their website and it is an utter mess! Not user friendly at all. Many, many complaints by users.

Only thing that ever worked for me. Lost 42 lbs. in 4 1/2 months. Food was good and taught me portion control! I thought I would not be able to handle cooking for my husband and not being able to eat it, but I was mentally determined to make this work and it did. I feel so much better about myself. Went down 2 dress sizes. I am very proud of myself. Hope to continue losing on my own.

I wanted to lose about 15 pounds and I did. It took me four months, but I got there. There is no miracle to losing weight. You are not going to lose 30 pounds in 30 days. But if you discipline yourself and stay with the diet you might lose 30 pounds in six months. Between the food and coaching, I was able to get where I needed to go.

My husband and I both signed up for the Nutrisystem plan, both on auto pay. They claim to offer discounts for those who use auto-delivery. They WANT your credit card information! We both lost our desired weight in just under 2 months and called to cancel auto delivery. The website is designed so it is very difficult to find how to cancel the plan. Finally, I found a phone number for customer service. A rep explained we will be charged $92.99 for cancelling our program because we must receive TWO shipments BEFORE we can cancel! Try to find that on the website! Wouldn't you think you could cancel at any time??? Do not use auto delivery!

I am very happy with Nutrisystem as far as not having to decide what to eat. However, I did not lose any weight. I am also pleased with delivery.

My experience with Nutrisystem was so positive! It is literally one the easiest things I have ever done and taking weight off was so simple. Most of the food is very enjoyable and you can get creative with some of it and still stay in the guidelines to losing weight... When working out 5 days a week was not producing the results I was expecting, I turned to the Nutrisystem program. Within the first 3 weeks I felt and saw a dramatic change. I had more energy for my workouts. My weight loss was balanced and within 3 months I reached my goal of 30lbs. The food is great. Nutrisystem really worked for me. I lost over fifty pounds in six months. The program is easy to follow. Portion size has been an issue for me. The program teaches you portion control, the right proportions of protein, carbs and vegetables. It is convenient as delivery is to your home. I never felt deprived as I was able to select food that appealed to me. Would recommend expanding the list of grocery items available in the tracker and adding a food label scanner.

Both my husband and I did it together and kept each other motivated. I stopped Nutrisystems 10 pounds from my target goal. If I took nothing else from this experience, it is portion control. My husband and I were many times over the portion size. Now we are both conscious of what we put on our plate and what we eat. I cannot thank Nutrisystems enough for that lesson. Most of the food was enjoyable and my husband and I switched to those we liked. Thanks again for a great success and I would recommend to anyone interested in losing weight.

I have used the Nutrisystem program, successfully, several times over many years. It is dependably consistent when adhering to the plan process and recommendations. It is designed to transition the body from higher caloric intake to a reduced and sustained balance of calories, nutrients and essentials based on your body's goal and plan. My budget limits my purchase to two consecutive months of the "plan" at one time. I lose 15 to 20 pounds the first month, and 10 to 15 pounds the second. Even when the products are expended, utilizing the "lifestyle change" of controlling carbohydrates and portions - along with the daily increase of fresh vegetables, I, at minimum, maintain the weight loss within a few pounds, just as long as circumstances are conducive (and my will power remains strong). If they falter, then it's time to renew the Nutrisystem Plan for another couple of months...

Your system worked very well for me. Phone counselors were a big help when I needed them. I'm not very good with computer interaction and so I appreciated the human voice on the phone. The foods were reasonably tasty and the ideas for adding spices and herbs to boost the flavors were helpful. More frozen foods should be available because they are much better than the others. There is no option to purchase just breakfasts and desserts which I would have done if it was available. Good info, good counselors, and pretty good food made it an easy diet to follow and to succeed. Thank you. I will be back if needed

I have used Nutrisystem 3 times over the past 25 years. It works for me because it is all pre-packaged which helps with portion control. As I am on Nutrisystem I learn how much I am suppose to be eating which helps me maintain my weight after I reach my goal. Thank you Nutrisystem!

The regular package is all boxed or canned foods. Who eats like that? Anything with canned meat was so distasteful. The good stuff was the bars. I would never order again.

Nutrisystem is a great system for people who need to learn portion control and have no true time to cook a full meal. I truly do recommend it to anyone who is willing to try it. Initially I had issues with the customer service after cancelling because I felt I didn't need the program but I was contacted within an hour by another customer service agent who resolved the issue with no problems.

Nutrisystem has taught me how to eat and what to eat. The portion control is the first lesson and then you learn what you can eat in different combinations. Most of all it's made losing weight easy because all I have to do is follow the program. It also keeps you from missing meals and then going overboard on the wrong foods at mealtime.

I don't Nutrisystem is for everyone. It's a good place to start; however, the meals all seem to taste the same. So, what it does do, is help you learn to be conscious of 1) what you eat, and 2) more importantly, portion control. It also eliminates having to think about food since the meals are prepackaged and very little thinking is required. The system operates on three identified meals and snacks. While the portion sizes are smaller than regular meals, it is also designed to keep you from feeling hungry between meals.

Nutrisystem is the best diet ever. It is so easy to follow. The food is very good and the choices are many. I have always been very successful following this diet. There is always someone there to answer any questions one might have. I would recommend this diet to anyone who would ask. Should I need it again I would not hesitate to get more food.

After years of trying every fad diet known to mankind, I decided to give Nutrisystem a try. I was obese for the last 20 years and knew that if I didn't find a weight loss solution, I might not see 20 more. What worked for me: Immediate results - I saw progress within a few days. Great food selection - the plan I used gave me more than enough food choices. Ability to change it up - with my working hours I don't have a regular eating routine. This diet gave me the latitude to modify what I ate and when I ate it as long as I followed the daily plan. Great customer service and phone support - questions I had were always answered by a real person that seemed to actually care about me. Online support - I'm not a Facebook user but I found Nutrisystem's website full of great information. Things like weight tracking, setting personal goals, reading about other people's struggles with weight loss, seeing progress pictures, making and receiving comments and feedback from others all helped me tremendously. Diet Tracker - the cellphone app and food intake daily progress book helped quite a bit.

I set a goal of losing 70 pounds on Nutrisystem. The variety of meals, snacks and desserts made it less of a chore. I will admit that I also began with an exercise program to supplement my efforts. After 3 months of Nutrisystem, I lost 60 pounds! Because the system also taught me "how" to eat and control my urges, after one month off Nutrisystem, I have lost another 10 pounds. I have now adjusted my goal to lose an additional 15 and know I will achieve it. The only issue I had was, living in Arizona, the chocolate products I received tended to be melted because they were not protected from the heat. However, Nutrisystem Works!

I ordered Nutrisystem because I thought it would be a quick, mindless way to lose weight. I received the first order and most of the food was horrible. I did like the convenience. I also did like some of the food items. When I called the company back they said I could customize my order for an additional $79. I upgraded and ordered my food. When I received the order there were so many substitutions of all the food I did not like. The 1 item I upgraded for (frozen chicken breast) was not a 1 in the package. Just try to deal with customer service there. They are closed on Sat and Sun. Really? Isn't this when clients can deal with this stuff? When I finally got customer service they just jerked me around. Couldn't tell me how much refund I would get. Can’t return frozen food except for what I didn't order. Who remembers what I originally ordered. I can’t retrieve the list and...neither can they. Stay far away from this company. Food is not good, service is worst. I have also reported them to the BBB.

Nutrisystem made it super easy to jump start my weight loss goal. I have not been hungry and have had loads of energy to be able to exercise on top of eating right. I have met my 20 pound goal and couldn't be happier! Thanks, Nutrisystem!!!

This program was a life changer! I've done it 2 different times, both times after I've my kids and it helped me to lose 30-40 pounds each time! People ask me how I lost the weight or "did you really just have a baby?" And it's just a wonderful feeling. I fully, heartfully think it's the best one out there :) I really can't say enough good things :) I loved it! Here are before and afters each time I've done it :)
