I get emails often tempting me to rejoin. I went on to re-up and then got called away from my computer. A few minutes later I received an email advertising what should have been the greatest deal for me. When I went to process it the rate was higher than my initial attempt. Needless to say, I didn't rejoin. Frustrating!

Wanted to get back on program but it is too much money for a one month program. Have to get two or more months to save on the price. Not fair after doing the program for 3 months then taking a break. Not happy about this!

I am entirely delighted with Nutrisystem. It is super important to be motivated. When I first went on, I weighed 225 pounds and really didn't know where I wanted to end up. I did everything as prescribed, exercised (4-mile walk, weather permitting), and in maybe 4 months, ended up at 178 pounds. Far more weight loss than needed, but I just got into in it, and weighed about the same as in High School. Mind, I was in my late 50's when I did this.

I lost my husband last December, and knew I would eat everything in sight from loneliness. Since I no longer had to cook for two, I decided to try Nutrisystem. It was so easy, and satisfied my hunger. I have lost 32 lb. and am eating mostly other foods now, successfully. I gave 4 stars because of Nutrisystem deleting so many of my favorites and giving me fewer I really like. I recommend Nutrisystem when folks comment on my "new me".

I was hoping to lose 40 lbs. I had been on Nutrisystem years ago and had lost but eventually put it all back on. The food is delicious. It is very satisfying and I never felt hungry or deprived. I ended up losing 52 lbs! Other family members have seen my results and are now on the program. They also are having great results. I have adapted to the new way of life. I intend to follow portion control and all the other good habits I have learned. This time I am a changed person!

I had struggled with my weight during college, but I was so busy with academics and activities that I didn't have time to cook anything healthy. I ate whatever was quick and easy, and I didn't see the weight going on steadily. I tried Weight Watchers, counting calories and other programs, but none of it worked. Then, I started Nutrisystem. I consistently lost weight and at 45 pounds down from my starting point, I finally reached my goal. The food was delicious, and I went from a size 16 to a size 6. I have already recommended this program to others, and people have gone so far as to call me a Nutrisystem spokesperson! It really worked for me, and I am more confident than I have been in years.

During the past seven months I have lost over 60 pounds by following the Nutrisystem programs. I found their meals and support to be outstanding and really enabled me to be successful. I met my goal weight and am lighter than I was 18 years ago.

My wife and I began Nutrisystem about 3 years ago. I will tell you about my personal experience. We began Nutrisystem about 3 months before our son's wedding to lose some weight so that we would look better. I lost 20 lbs. in the three months. Unfortunately, I did not think to take before and after photos because I honestly didn't think I would lose any weight. With exercise (walking 2 miles a day) and sticking to the Nutrisystem diet, I felt I was extremely successful. Although I did not achieve my weight loss goal of 40 lbs., my failure was due to the fact that I didn't stick with the diet strictly.

I was on the program 2 months and I lost a total of 12 lbs. I had been on the program a few years ago and had allowed my weight to creep back a little and wanted to drop that weight and a bit more. I found the food to be very tasty and not at all "diet like". I always had a large salad at dinner and very careful with the amount of salad dressing. All in all it was a good experience with very good results.

Simply put, this was an excellent program for me. It was easy to follow and very convenient. I still have a few more days remaining in my program and so far I've lost 10 lbs. It has brought me very close to my goal weight! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has ever struggled with their weight. In fact my son is now on the Men's Core plan and doing very well!

I am 67 years "very young" male, and have carried 20 excessive pounds around my body for over 15 or so years. I've attempted lots of "cutting back" ways; regular exercise, weight loss procedures, and never could I get rid of these extra pounds. My wife pushed me into Nutrisystem, and believe me, I "hemmed and hawed", but once I started, I was determined. My experience was terrific, my loss was fast, and, though I really don't feel much different, I look better, and have dropped my blood sugar down to a much healthier level (I was right on the edge of a pre-diabetic).

I have heard a lot of great things about Nutrisystem and looked them up and was excited to see all the great food choices! I called to order my meals and was reassured that they do not charge shipping and handling. When it came time to give my address to the man I spoke with, he said DO charge to ship to Hawaii and it could take 10 to 15 days to receive my food and the shipping cost would be $50 and I would NOT be able to get the frozen foods. What a bummer! On the Select plan it says: "As always, with each plan you'll enjoy FREE shipping right to your doorstep, FREE access to online tools & community for total support, Auto-Delivery savings, so you can stay on track without a second thought." I was so deflated after learning of the extra cost for shipping and not being able to order the frozen foods. I could maybe see paying $20 for shipping and still get the frozen but $50 is just too much to only get the dry foods!

I am very happy to say that Nutrisystem has helped me tremendously. I am 61 and fought the battle all my life, literally since I was 4. Up and down on the scale, every diet and weight management plan I was on with little or no success. Perhaps I was not completely resigned to losing the weight all those times or just felt it was fruitless. I decided to try Nutrisystem. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did. It just worked for me and my schedule. It was easy for us; my husband went onto the program also, and we had no more children living at home to cook for - so it was all about us. I do think that that was one of the important factors, truthfully. Also the ease of this program - no weighing, measuring, etc. All so compact and 99% of the food was good, and to see results in the first couple of days (I cheated to see the weight on the scale before the week was up...glad I did, for there was a loss) it was just thrilling for me.

I have to say I was not satisfied with the product. I ordered the 2 month plan but should have paid the penalty for the cancelling fee and not had the 2nd month delivered. A lot of the packaging (dry) was opened and all in the box. I have to say that the only thing I liked were the breakfast bars/granola bars and a few of the meals. Many of them when I tried them I had to throw out because I just thought they were awful. Watching it on TV makes it look very enticing, but I found it a waste of money and still have a lot of it in a cabinet not used. I am happy for others who have succeeded and only wished I had.

I needed help learning how to control portions and types of food. I strictly adhered to Nutrisystem foods for 2 months, adding only a salad and a slice of low calorie flat- bread with dinner. After 2 months, I was able to begin a walking program. Having lost 40 pounds at that point, I was able to exercise without much discomfort. I also would recommend massage therapy once a month to keep the body stimulated. For the next two months, I was able to stabilize from the rapid weight loss to a more sensible steady drop by adding snacks of nuts and eating out once or twice a week. Now, after 4 months, I am down from 245 pounds to 188 pounds and still dropping about 1 pound every 2 weeks. My exercise has increased and I FEEL FANTASTIC.

It helped me control portions and taught me how to eat correctly. The weight loss leveled out after a month but my waist continued to get smaller.

I spoke to a gentleman after receiving a message to call about an email I sent about stopping food delivery. I told him I could not afford to continue. He said that I would be charged $61 to cancel and rudely said... "You don't want to do that." I told him, embarrassingly that I just couldn't afford it. He said abruptly... "Fine. You're cancelled." And hung up. He was rude and left me feeling horribly embarrassed because I could not afford the program. I feel that the program works but the customer service does not. Because of this, I cannot recommend the program.

I had a very good result from this program. I have lost 23 lbs. I am reading labels and eating more fruits and vegetables. My health has improved. My lab tests have greatly improved. I am trying new foods. I am still working on liking black beans. Most of the food I really like. I would definitely recommend this program.

Excellent program! I enjoyed the food choices and customer service was excellent! Would recommend to anyone who needs to get on track for healthier habits and weight loss!

It was getting pretty hopeless. I was at 185 lbs and growing. I felt there was no way to stop eating the wrong food. Fortunately, I signed up for Nutrisystem who has wonderful tasting food that enabled me to lose about 10 pounds per month until I got the weight off (30 lbs!). And, the best part was that my stomach became flat as well. I felt so much better and learned so much about how to eat from the counselors at Nutrisystem. They were always available to help when I called. They always listen well and offer wonderful advice and support.

I signed up for the program online and discovered there was a clause that required me to take a minimum of 2 orders...for what I discovered is TERRIBLE food. I wanted to send back what I had received, but they cited that I would need to pay the remaining amount and then be able to cancel...nearly $500 later. My 10lb goal is secondary to the stress this has caused in my house.

I contacted Nutrisystem to cancel my membership as I have fallen on hard times and cannot afford the product any longer. Almost 3 weeks after I cancelled my service I received an automatic delivery. I contacted service once again and was told to return the product and was given the information for the return. Unbelievably their mistake yet I had to pay $22.00 for the shipping of the products as well as being out $294 that they charged to my bank account. I was told once they receive the product back I would receive a refund.

I started the ordering process to see how much the product was, after all fees and taxes. The total I was given was $269.99. I cancelled the order, and promptly sent an email offering 40% off and a week free since I didn't complete my order. (Nowhere on the email were any disclaimers or restrictions.) So I followed the links and was taken to the site, where the price after their "discount" was $244.99, $25 cheaper. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that they had two offers and that the price I was seeing was correct. I am very disappointed in the advertising of this company. They also altered the "full retail value" of their packages.

I started Nutrisystem in May and am now on my last shipment. I will be done on Oct 15th. I was 247 lbs when I started and am now 197 lbs. I should be at 190 by Oct. 15th. I have lost 10 inches on my waist line. My goal was a 50-lb. loss so I will have exceeded that. It wasn't easy getting used to the very small portions. It took me until the 3rd month to really settle on the foods I enjoyed the most. I really got it down to a seven-day cycle which I repeated every week. Most of the food is quite good, especially the Italian choices. I am sure I will maintain a healthy weight when I get off the program since I have gotten used to portion size and healthy alternatives. I averaged 1.8 to 3 pounds a week. I had two weeks with almost no loss but increased on the following week.

I've battled with my weight my whole life (I'm now 62) and have tried every diet and fad out there. In 2009, I went to a wedding and was totally disgusted with how I looked and felt. I started Nutrisystem in Feb. of 2010 @ 165 lbs. By August, I had surpassed my targeted weight loss by 5 lbs, weighing in at 125! I went from a size 16 to a 6. I can't describe the feeling of getting into a pair of size 6 jeans, I cried. NS taught me so much about portion control, good carbs, and the food was good. Three years later, I am holding steady at 128 lbs. The best part? My brother, who teased me about my big butt most of his life, now calls me skinny! Thank you, Nutrisystem!

In 2011, I was able to lose the 20 pounds I was looking to lose. I credit the weight loss to Nutrisystem's step by step tracking and calorie guide. In May 2013, I tried Nutrisystem again to lose 10 pounds but found the new tracking guide hard to follow, not to mention I had no will power and was under a lot of work related stress this time around. I must say the food is great. Nutrisystem has taught me portion control. I would use it again.

I've tried a lot of diets but the Nurtisystem diet is the one that I feel is the best. You get real food and it keeps you so satisfied all day. Not many diets do that! I will always use the Nutrisystem program!

I used to be able to just keep my weight off by exercise alone. But as I got older it just wasn't enough. I needed a plan to help me boost my system and get back on track with good eating habits. But with a plan you could live with. Not one that cuts out certain groups of foods. Or you had to starve yourself. Nutrisystem was the answer and my mind was ready for the commitment.

I started this program at 149 pounds. Now I am at 126 pounds. I lost 23 pounds in 2 months. I can't complain. Food was amazing from the beginning. Then I was getting tired and I started to eat regular food. I am still losing weight because I started counting my calories. Thank you.

Nutrisystems works for me because I love snacks and Nutrisystem provides me the opportunity to enjoy great snacks throughout the day!!!! Nutrisystem also allows me to eat healthy despite my very busy work schedule. Color coded meals makes it very easy for individuals on the run!!!!

Some of the meals were tasty; however, all of them seemed to cause me to have some diarrhea. I liked the amount of vegetables allowed. I did not have the great weight loss as advertised, but I did lose weight.

Nutrisystem is a great weight loss program. Not only do you lose weight but you are educated in more healthy eating patterns. I highly recommend this program to anyone who would like to lose weight!

Nutrisystem helped me lose 40 lbs in 8 months. The food is great and so is the service. I strongly recommend their program. With a small amount of exercise, you will be pleased with the results.

I lost 60 pounds with Nutrisystem. The program helped me get back on a reasonable amount of food intake on a daily basis and helped me shift my patterns of eating and the portions I consumed at each sitting. I am helped by routine and the framework Nutrisystem laid out for me worked well for my type personality. I thought the food tasted good but then again I am not a real picky eater. It was simple and easy to do for me and I didn't even follow the increased exercise of the recommendations although I should have. Passive aggressive I guess I am.

I received my package and was excited. I had done Jenny Craig some years ago and achieved success, but it's too expensive for me at this point in my life. The pot pie was tolerable; the flatbread pizza you make yourself was very good. I put pepperoni on it. But pizza was the only thing I liked. I can't eat that for 28 days, so I sent it back. I only liked 1 lunch entree. The food tastes terrible. The good thing is, they pay the return shipping. Don't waste your money on Nutrisystem. It's not good! Also I lost no weight.

I enjoyed Nutrisystem when I first joined and did lose weight. Then I went on my own for a while, and then decided to come back again. This time it did not work so well. I have not lost any weight and do not like the meals for lunch. You got me hooked on soup for lunch (good) but now you do not have the soups I like. I started making my own and now find I do not like all the pasta soups (?) that you do. Supper I like, especially the turkey with stuffing, also the beef and potatoes, the ravioli, but after this it all seems to be pasta and I am not that fond of pasta. I will not be renewing after my next order on 16 Sept. 2013.

I only went on Nutrisystem to save money. When I spoke the customer service rep that I ordered it from, he told me that a lot of people do that and that I wouldn't lose weight so I ordered it. Once I received it I immediately started the program. After a few days I felt tired, hungry, and had stomach aches. I called to return it. When I did, I told the customer service that after counting it was only 600 cal/day. He merely said that doesn't sound right, you’re not counting your vegetables and fruit. I told him even with veggies and fruit that's still half your daily calories and asked to send it back. I sent it 7 days ago.

In just 20 weeks I was able to lose 35 pounds. The food provided make it simple and helped me change my eating habits. I would recommend Nutrisystem to anyone wanting to lose weight.

Love the food. Love the Program. Don't like to have to speak to someone to cancel my auto delivery because they always have to ask way too many questions.... WISH I COULD ORDER THE "SELECT" PROGRAM IN CANADA!!!!!

I had good success with Nutrisystem. It helped me to see that I was woefully lacking in vegetables each meal and that I needed to increase their portion size and decrease the size of the protein. I really can't say the food was delicious, but it did make it easy to not overeat.

This is the second time I have used Nutrisystem and both times have had great results. The food has gotten much better, more variety. I have lost 18 pounds in about 3 months, feel great. The system works and it’s tough to lose weight when you get older. This works for me. The frozen food is much better than the regular food. The only complaint I have was trying to change my order. Was stuck on hold for half hour, never spoke to anyone. I did send email and got confirmation that it was received. We will see how that works. Otherwise very happy.

In 2010, I found a mass in my breast, turned out to be cancer. Three years and quite a few surgeries later have left me dealing with quite a few issues, especially with weight. I decided to try Nutrisystem. I've seen the commercials and felt I should go ahead and try it. I purchased it about three weeks ago. It's pretty easy to follow and most of the food is fairly good. I've lost a couple of pounds so far.

I was very pleased with my results. It took some time but it was worth it. It helped to log my food intake and I only weighed every week for the first few months. I'm very happy and have achieved the results that I expected.

Was interested in trying for a month for my wife, my oldest son and myself. Most of the dinners made my stomach cramp so I simply wanted to cancel all of our subscriptions to Nutrisystem. The cancellation fee for my son and mine came out to be $89 each, and for my wife was an additional $82.59. Tell me how this can be in any way appropriate for meals we won't even receive? Talking with a gentleman over the phone who explained that's just how it is and when I asked to speak with someone else, he informed me that he was the only one to talk to regarding this matter. I feel ripped off that's all. I would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone at this point.

With diabetic diet and walking 2 hrs daily (6 1/2 miles) I lost 22 lbs and dropped blood sugar from an average of 250 to 115. Was never hungry and have had a lot more energy. Compliments to chefs also. Food tasted great!

I'm 77 years old and started Nutrisystem at 225 lbs. In 10 weeks time, I was down to 198 lbs. I was never overly hungry, but had a bit of a time with snaking desires. My target has been 30 lbs of loss which I feel I should accomplish without much trouble. The food was good, and plenty of it, although I must admit, there was a lot of Mexican and Italian food. I learned to eat smaller portions and foods with less calories and fat. Now I will see if I can hold my new weight.

I have used the NutriSystem Weight Loss Program for years to lose and maintain my weight. The food tastes great and the NutriSystem representatives and counselors are absolutely wonderful. Friends and family are "awed" by my weight loss. I sincerely thank everyone at NutriSystem for giving the help and support I have needed to accomplish and maintain the weight. I heartily recommend NutriSystem to anyone who desires to be the best they can be. Thank-you!!

I have had success with Nutrisystem and would recommend it to others who want to lose weight. The plan was convenient for my hectic lifestyle and allowed me to have some snacks and desserts. I rarely felt deprived or hungry. My energy improved and I lost 20 pounds, which is the most I have ever lost on a diet.

I have used this system and it has worked magnificently from 233lbs. to 187lbs and I am still using the system for the next six weeks and believe that I will finally have a body mass index (BMI) within the "normal" range. From obese to over-weight to normal in a six month time frame and living a normal way of life. Dining out on occasion and an occasional glass of wine. I was all done at a healthy pace and offered a reasonably easy method to follow.

I didn't do anything special, didn't order anything other than the basic women's program and followed the directions and lost the weight. The 30-minute power walk each evening helped keep me on track. I've found I lose faster with the exercise and the protein drink in the morning kept me from being tempted by the office donuts and bagels.

The food and choice for the most part was good. Lunch was a little on the lean side. I met my goal of 25 lb. loss in 16 weeks. It was quite an education as to how to eat healthy. Now the bad part. The diet is extremely expensive. The cost of Nutrisystem food was only part of the expense. My wife and I were both on the plan and we're spending 300 dollars every 2 weeks. The vegetables and other food were a little less for the same period.

Being on Nutrisystem taught me portion control. Also, I've always been a veggie lover, but now I know how many more servings a day I should be eating in place of carbs & snacks and to help fill me up. There were times over the past year due to travel overseas, and a family emergency in another state when I was unable to take the Nutrisystem food with me - but after returning home after several weeks, I discovered I had not gained back any weight, and once on the program again I continued to lose. I am now just under my "wedding weight" from 36 years ago! And I plan to stay here! Thank you!

I absolutely love Nutrisystem. It changed my life. With Nutrisystem, Losing weight was simple. I didn't starve. And I was able to eat chocolate and pastries (which are my weakness)! I lost 50lbs fast, and have kept it off for 5 years because Nutrisystem helps you learn what foods your body can tolerate best. I recommend this to everyone! It truly works. It'll change your life!

Protein shakes and container used to be included in the monthly cost. If you want 4 weeks of shakes, it's more than $60 more a month with shipping. Sneaky.

I found, with few exceptions, all the food to be tasty, portions sufficient, and the right diet for me. That is it in a nutshell.

Food: Most surprising to me was that I really enjoyed the food. The frozen dishes are especially delicious, reason why I switched to the My Way plan towards the end of my time with NS. Despite trying nearly all of the foods, I can count the ones I didn't like on one hand. The portability was wonderful and the packaging wasn't too overt; I was a bit embarrassed about taking my food to work at first, but nobody ever noticed it and I became more comfortable. Eventually others started commenting on how delicious it looked. My one complaint are the shelf stable "Just add hot water" items such as the Loaded Baked Potato; microwaving is tricky to do without causing spillover and still leaves plenty of "crunchy" uncooked bits; I found the only way to get it perfect every time was to use boiling water; this is not feasible for everyone. I tended to save these for the weekends for this reason.

Last July (July 2012), I weighed 283 pounds and was a mess both physically and mentally. My Dr. had been after me to do something for years to lose weight. So, from last July to Feb. of this year, I managed to get to 260 pounds but still was not too happy. I finally made the decision to try Nutrisystem. I followed the Men's plan faithfully, enjoying the selection of what was offered and supplemented with the recommended grocery additions. I also found so much support on the Nutrisystem Website being able to log all my foods, my Glucose readings, my exercise, my weight and all the positive information that was available. You provided positive reinforcement and I learned so much about eating correctly and portion control.

It was obvious from the very beginning that the entire team cared about and valued me. I really felt that my situation mattered. I felt supported and thus encouraged. So as a result of this encouragement and caring, I lost 31 pounds. It took me 6 months but I could never have done it without Nutrisystem. Thank you so much.

Was a great experience. I learned how to do portion control, and how to eat properly, and had very little to cook to supplement each meal. I highly recommend Nutrisystem.

This program was great for me because my major problem was that I over-ate and had difficultly with portion control. I ate healthy, but I ate a lot! The program taught me to eat smaller portions and to eat small meals frequently. I thought at first I was not going to lose weight, but in the first week I lost 8 pounds. It didn't matter if it was water weight or what have you, that was the motivation I needed to stick with it! After that I lost 1-2.5 lbs per week. The scale kept going down and that's all I cared about.

I thought Nutrisystem was the best way to lose weight. I did it off and on for a year and a half. I lost close to 50 pounds and I really learned how to eat so when I wasn't doing I didn't gain back any weight. That is something I've always done when I went off a diet. Thanks, Nutrisystem!

At first I was concerned that the food included fat and sugar; I thought it would be diet food (low-calorie, low-fat, low-sugar). It quickly dawned on me that the Nutrisystem plan is to train your brain and body to recognize and understand the correct portion size of "real" food, not diet food. This has been a tremendous help in selecting and eating food when dining out. I've lost 30 pounds and couldn't be happier!

I recommend NutriSystem. The commercial accurately describes the plan. You eat all the time. I grew weary of the food. Also, there are too many hot spicy items. Really hot. I grew tired of food that is dead and sitting in my closet for a month. I tried the frozen dinners and found that they were really no different. I would go on it again when I am off it a while and need to lose weight. I would like more fresh type of selections.

Got my finger cut open on a soup can with a flimsy lid (which caused two weeks of pain), tried to send a picture of the defective product to one of the email addresses on their web site to inform them of the problem. Every single email address I tried bounced back.

Nutrisystem definitely worked for me. I am 36, 6' 6" and at the time I started, I weighed 373 lbs. After 15 weeks on the plan, I weighed in at 273. I took a break from the diet and gained about 15 lbs back but that was due to a life situation change mostly and I did not take the time to eat healthy on my own. Nutrisystem does offer support during your transition off their plans. I was just unable to use it due to new circumstances in my life. Happy to report that I am back on the diet and headed to try and lose 50 more pounds. I highly recommend this!

Nutrisystem has worked for me in the past and I have done the program several times over the past 10 years as I have regained some of my lost weight. The reason it works for me is because it is controlled portions and ready to eat meals just adding salad, vegetables and fruits. It is easy for me to grab it when I am hungry. Even if I don't have time to prepare anything, I can stick with it.

Well I started with Nutrisystem 5 months ago, followed the plan program. It didn't work for me. I don't know why but it was a total failure. That was 5 months and 1,500 dollars later. All it really did was make my body ache and really gassy. So my review of this system is it is awful.

I had been following another food plan. It was packets of stuff I add water to with one (1) meal a day I make myself. I lost weight, and gained it all back. Being I was not eating real food, I did not learn how to eat real food. On Nutrisystem, I got to eat REAL food, good tasting food. AND dessert too! I lost 60 pounds. I learned a LOT about portion size. I think I probably already knew, but this put it right in front of my face. I loved it. I highly recommend Nutrisystem. Follow the plan. Get real, and it WORKS!

I have tried other diets but Nutrisystem worked just great. I'm very happy with it. I have lost 24 pounds. Very easy to use. Love the bars.

I am a very busy person. I work numerous hours. I thought I would try out Nutrisystem. Several of the foods gave me stomach cramps. Just over the 2 week mark I contacted them to cancel. I assumed it was a risk free trial for the 1st month. I failed to read their 'fine print' that stated it was for 2 weeks only. Nutrisystem did not care that I had a half of box of food that made me ill. They said I could buy another month of food for nearly $300 or pay an $80.00 some dollar cancellation fee. BOO. Bad food. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Nutrisystem was so easy to apply to my life and fit in to my routine. The food was good and I didn't feel hungry after the first 2 days.

So, I read all the reviews on the customer service through Nutrisystem itself and those are really the only negative reviews. I don't have time to cook I'm constantly going going going so fast food is a constant in my life.... This seemed like a better way to go. I found the 5 day kit at Walmart and started it. The food is as good as can be from a box :) No complaints. The granola cereal was yummy. I am not used to the portions yet so I feel hungry a lot but I am sure I will get used to it. :P

I joined not knowing what the experience was going to be like. I have to say that several reasons made me a believer in Nutrisystem. Some of my concerns were taste, cost and if it would work. For taste the only item that I did not like was the split pea soup…but I was able to remove it off the other orders. For cost approximately $350 per month you can beat it for 5 items to eat each day. As far as it working I have lost 20 and am grateful for learning that I was totally eating the wrong proportions and snacking way too much.

Nutrisystem has been a God-send for me. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Granted, I have only been on it for one month, but I already see so many changes in myself. The meals made it easy to monitor portions. I am not a fan of bell peppers and a lot of Nutrisystem foods had peppers. I recommend people check ingredients before ordering if there are certain ingredients you want to avoid. I ate several meals on my own so I ended up with extra dinners when I was due to reorder. The staff made it easy to help me move out my next shipment when I had run myself too close to the shipping cutoff date. I LOVED the breakfasts! I lost 18 lbs in 2 months and am working on losing the other 12 lbs on my own. I am not a big fan of desserts and had most of those leftover too.

For the second time, five years apart, I used Nutrisystem for one month. The first time I lost 15 pounds. The second time I lost 12 pounds. I can't think of any other way to lose so much weight in so short a time, healthily. Now, I'll use Nutrisystem to maintain my weight.

I am 61 yrs old. I have always struggled with my weight. I have been on every diet imaginable. In my 40's I began to put on a lot of weight. My husband is very supportive and loves me regardless. He did not seem to mind so the weight gain continued. I am an emotional eater. I eat when I am sad, happy, bored, hungry, not hungry, whatever. The last few years I have been diagnosed as pre diabetic. My cholesterol is also high. I knew it was just a matter of time before I would have to go meds for diabetes. I really did not want to. One day I just woke up and decided to call Nutrisystem. I had lost 50 lbs 10 yrs ago with them.

Overall, my wife and I had a positive experience and did lose the weight we wanted. However, I do think it would benefit Nutrisystem if one were allowed to suspend deliveries for several months and then resume auto deliveries. We travel and would have continued with our membership had we been allowed to suspend our deliveries instead of cancelling altogether.

I just called to cancel my auto-delivery order through Nutrisystem. Not only is there no way to cancel your order through their website, but I was told on the phone that I would have to pay $89 because the price I paid for the original package I purchased in May was so much cheaper than the actual cost of the food. I asked the representative where that was in writing as I was uninformed about it when I made the initial purchase. I was told that it is in the "terms and conditions" on the website. So, basically, hidden from view! I find this highly suspect. Not only does the company want to make it difficult for you to cancel and order, but they will charge undisclosed fees in order to do so. Consumer beware!

I'd been dieting and working out for about 6 months prior to starting Nutrisystem and had lost a lot of weight but eventually the weight just stopped coming off. I've only been on Nutrisystem for 1 week so far but have lost 2 pounds so I'm happy there. I did want to comment on the food as I've read a ton of very negative comments there. The food isn't that bad (most of it). So far I've only run into 1 thing that I just wouldn't eat again (hint Risotto) and the rest has ranged from adequate to pretty good. If you're a real picky eater this may not be the diet for you, but if you're somewhat open it seems to be working well for me so far.

A few years ago I was 242 pounds at 5'8". I was not feeling great about myself and had some minor health issues like IBS. I decided to try NutriSystem for about 6 months. I dropped about 50 pounds. After that I tried it on my own. I was down to about 180 lbs. On my own I was able to maintain that and even fluctuate down to about 175 lbs. Now fast forward to about 20 years later (2013). That's really what it is all about. I also, cut up mixed fresh fruits 5 days a week for work. They can have the bagels and cookies, I'll take the fruit. Pick out the food that you like, follow suggestions and don't stray too far from selected food that you ordered. Exercise speeds up the process quickly.

Nutrisystem charged me a cancellation fee of $82 after one delivery. Food was not good and you had to purchase extras to supplement. Their terms and conditions look like you will be charged a $30 fee. They have purposely worded it that way and it is dishonest.

I have been on Nutrisystem for exactly one week and I am excited to say that I have lost 6 pounds... I look forward to this program because it’s making it so easy for me to stick to eating portions. I love it and I plan on telling all my friends who need to lose a couple pounds to definitely give Nutrisystem a try. I am not a big fan of mail orders but when I saw the Nutrisystem at Walmart I liked the convenience of buying it and bringing it home the same day. Nutrisystem is something that I know is going to change my life.

Nutrisystem just works. I weighed 222 last December. I started trying to lose some weight on my elliptical and after 3 months I had only lost 4 pounds. Not my first attempt and failure over the last 4 years. So in March I started Nutrisystem and the weight shed like water off of the roof. I now weigh 190. The program is easy to follow, and I was not ever starving. As a matter of fact I enjoyed the food and the learning experience of just how many good things one can eat and still lose weight. Power fuels, smart carbs, vegetables and fruits.

I would have to say that I am very pleased with my success on the Nutrisystem D program. I lost about 70 pounds on the program. The program is very easy to follow and the support from the counselors was very helpful. If I had to find a downside with the program it would be the overall cost of the food to be on the plan. My wife and I were on the plan at the same time and the cost of both of our plans plus the supplemental food from the grocery store made the total food cost for the month difficult to justify the expense, even with the family discount that they offer. Overall I was happy with the outcome and would recommend the program.

I liked Nutrisystem. It was an easy diet to follow. It's nice that I know if I am unsure of anything I can call and talk to a counselor. It teaches you to make healthy choices.

I was 124.5 lbs. on March 9th. Three years before I was even higher, and with a 1200 calorie a day diet & a fair amount of exercise, I lost 28 lbs. Two & a half years later I put back more than half. For health & self-esteem reasons I needed to lose again. Coworkers were on Nutrisystem & I saw the results. I did the Men's Core Plan. Once I made the decision the restrictions just happened. Getting used to the portion size was difficult. But, I added some fresh veggies & fruit. Some choices were tastier than others, but that's true for menus everywhere. I did very little exercise because of time restraints. I feel great. The compliments from family & coworkers have been amazing & going shopping for new clothes hasn't been bad either. I went from a 42inch waist & 17.5inch neck to a 36 & a 16.5. Now I'm going to try eating on my own.

It worked for me. I had difficulty monitoring my food intake with a family of five. Having my own separate food made all the difference. I would tell everyone to be realistic in expectations. The food is good but you can't expect gourmet if it is lowfat. Also, exercise with dieting is a must.

Nutrisystem food isn't like anything you are use to, but they have so many food to choose from. Heck, you can order same foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday if you want. They don't care. You can also postpone your auto delivery order a few weeks and incorporate their meal plans with your own health meals after you reach your goal(s). I have lost 30lbs on Nutrisystem, losing 10 pounds per month with little or no exercise. Nutrisystem is not really a diet. It becomes a learned behavior way of eating healthy small portions throughout the day, eventually a way of life of eating lots of vegetables, some fruit, lots of water, and it gives you a common sense approach to weight loss that really works.

After having a baby, I decided to try Nutrisystem and ordered the 28 day program. Upon arrival, the package was damaged and some of the food was smashed. Also, some of the 'chocolate' in the desserts and bars were melted, and re-solidified. I decided to give it a try, and just eat what I had been shipped. The food is horrible, and so far from fresh a few dinners made me feel sick. I've stuck with it for a week, and decided I didn't want to pay any more for this food. When I called to cancel my auto delivery I was also charged a $65 fee! I was under the understanding you have a money back guarantee? The 'customer service' representative was not helpful, and simply said sorry. But not too sorry, because he decided after I had already paid for a product that did NOT deliver, I should pay more and charged my card a 65$ cancellation fee.

I have always had problems with portion control. Nutrisystem provided a specific and easy way to handle this issue. With an ability to select foods that I liked (I'm a very picky vegetarian) I was able to select my food and learn how to eat the size portion that is appropriate. The pre-packaged meal are simple and convenient to use and I was able to find the success with my weight that I have struggled with for over forty years.

The only problem I ever had with any of the NutriSystem foods is when they discontinued most of the ones I liked. I am very happy with Nutrisystem and happy I did this for myself. Instead of constantly obsessing about my weight, how tight my clothes got, and what shirt would hide the rolls, I finally ordered. It wasn't fast for me but steady depending on how hard I worked for it. There are a couple of items I wasn't fond of with first two prearranged boxes of food, but very easy to get into the hang of it. I want to lose 15-20 lbs (in that range) and I'm almost there. I took no pictures because they couldn't tell the story of how easy, inexpensive, and rewarding it is. I know I would already be at target weight if I had done 30 minutes of activities a day every day. With the 10 lbs I have lost I feel better. Thank you, Nutrisystem. P.S. The diet was easy to follow and enjoyed most of the food especially the frozen. Lost 15 lbs and thinking of trying it again in the fall for another 10 lbs.

I have used NS twice before; logged onto your site yesterday to begin ordering again and saw that now, in order to have only the foods I want, I must choose other than the Basic plan and pay extra per month. The last time I was part of your program this was not so; ordered whatever I wanted each month at no extra cost. Told your on-line consultant that I would not be using you again because of the new "program choices" and would not be recommending it to anyone in the future.

I ordered Nutrisystem. They told me I would lose 1 to 2 lbs a week. I lost 2 lbs in a month. Their food is disgusting and they don't want to do a refund because the box was open. I followed all their rules. I have to keep the food and it doesn't even help you lose weight.

I am a 72 year old lung cancer survivor and had gained 25 pounds over the past couple of years. With one lung I have some limitations but it seems that my "belly fat" had made breathing even more difficult and I am determined not to ever have to rely on oxygen to live a normal everyday life. Was shipped what I would call the bottom of the barrel, food nobody wanted or was the cheapest they had. Homeless people won't even take this food for free. What I could eat along with food I bought did allow me to lose a little weight. I canceled after my 3 month contract was up and received a hostile call from them demanding I continue the plan. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone.

I had a busy lifestyle. This system was foolproof & didn't require a lot of my time. I didn't exercise other than walking around at work but I still lost weight.

I started Nutrisystem in January. I was worried that I would not lose the weight because I had a bad knee injury that would keep me from exercising... but I had to do something. I needed to lose about 31 pounds. I am 4 pounds within my goal. I lost weight slower than I wanted, but as I said I could not exercise. The best part about the program is the food! It was wonderful and delicious. I ate throughout the day so I was never really hungry. I have learned the importance of a balanced diet and portion control.

Most of the food was pretty good except for breakfast. All of the muffins, scones, etc were dry as dinosaur bones. I thought the breakfast bars were pretty good. I didn't get hungry on this and lost 12 pounds within less than a month. I was losing for my health at the age of 70 more than my appearance and my blood pressure dropped - and I look darned good. I have 8 pounds to go. My only complaint is that I called before my second order and asked that other items be substituted for about 5 or 6 things and was told that would be done, then it wasn't. I got the same things anyway.

I was told when I called to cancel my order that I would be charged $89 since I did not receive 2 shipments. I was ok with that. To my dismay, I was charged $89 x 2. I called to dispute this and said this was not explained to me. The customer service rep said, "You were told and should have paid attention to the terms and conditions." No, I was not told. I was told I was going to be charged $89 and this was per household. It was not explained to me that I would be charged $89 per person in my house. The customer service rep was extremely condescending in her tone. I told her I will never use Nutrisystem again. The food is ok, at best and overpriced. Just buy snack bars and healthy soup if you want the Nutrisystem experience. Progresso and Healthy Choice is a lot better tasting anyway.

I am an old man, 75, and my weight had steadily crept up to a point that my clothes were too small (tight!). I looked a bit like Terry Bradshaw did before his experience with Nutrisystem, and decided that if he could do it I could do it too. So I bought the food and was surprised at how good most of it tasted, even more surprised that I WAS NOT HUNGRY during my program. Also I was very pleased at all the supplemental aids and support available. I did reorder food and I am glad to say that Terry did not lead me astray. My clothes are now too big!!! This is a good program, easy to follow, and most important, IT WORKS.

My husband & I joined but were not happy with the EZpay arrangements. When we signed up we explained our situation & the representative said "no problem." Well it turned out to be a problem. Spoke to a supervisor who told us to return the food (we were in the 30 day eligibility) so we did and our money was returned. On the following Friday they took a payment for me and the one for my husband the next day. We called that Saturday but they were closed. We called on Monday (on hold for almost 30 min) and were told that it was all taken care of and our money would be returned. When the money wasn't there on Tuesday we called and the rep went through everything again without a resolve so we asked to talk to a supervisor again.

The program works for me for convenience - delivered to my door, no meetings to have to go to, no measuring and calculating, and the price is OK.

Nutrisystem enabled me to finally lose the weight that I had gained with my last pregnancy 19 years ago!!! I have tried almost every other diet and failed in these last nineteen years. Nutrisystem took away all the guessing about what to eat is it allowed... etc. By having portions already separated and having the App on my phone I was able to track what I could eat and when to quit for the day due to reaching the calorie limits and knowing exactly how many calories I was consuming. I lost 61 pounds over the past 15 months! The best part of it is to have the confidence and be able to look in the mirror without feeling disgust. I highly recommend Nutrisystem!!

The program itself is easy to follow and with 6 small meals a day, you do not go hungry. However most of the food in the grab and go section for lunch and dinner is not all that good. With trial and error, I finally found some items I liked. The breakfast items and the desserts were all good. I didn't find anything in the frozen section that I did not like. Everything was very good.

The program overall was good. I wish there was a "breakfast and snacks" option, with a bit of savings over the "a la carte" price. I did find the website a bit difficult to navigate.

Today, I received my first box of food. It got here super fast, and I am very excited to get started. Tomorrow morning, it starts (so we celebrated with a nice dinner at cheesecake factory). #lastminuteeats. I have been looking up information about getting started/hints and tips/etc. - and wanted to explain something for someone who may be reading the other reviews. I have read several people who have complained about having to pay a cancellation fee - I specifically asked about this when I called and was placing my order. I am not sure about the others, but I signed up for the auto delivery - which gave me free shipping and a hefty discount ($229 first month and graduated 5% discount every month after). I have 14 days in which I can cancel - with no charge - but if I cancel after the 14 days, then I will have not met the obligation of the "auto delivery" as I only did the one month, and would then be obligated to repay the discount I had received (original price is $309 I believe) plus the shipping and handling.

The reason I chose your product was because I'm a diabetic. You had a program that I felt fit my lifestyle. I started the program weighing 259 lbs on a 5’11 inch frame. As of today, I weigh 210 lbs. Because of what I've learned from your program, I will get down to 200 lbs in the next couple of months. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you.

I'm a nutritionist with a degree in Nutrition Science from UC Davis. I've hit the wall with dropping estrogen, and related weight gain. I called Nutrisystem to learn about their program for an easy method of adjusting my portion size. At the end of the call, the agent was up-selling protein shakes. I was shocked to find they contain fructose, but they claim to be a low glycemic index product. Fructose causes an insulin spike. I ended the call with the order placed, but looked more closely at ingredients listed on the website. Very high salt content in their non-frozen items=high blood pressure. USRDA over age 40 is 1,500 mg/day, but their program is 2,200 mg/day. Their products list whey protein, which is healthy and fine...but then they cheap out and use soy protein as filler. Soy protein is a low-quality plant protein in which there are doctors recommending its removal from the food supply. It acts as an endocrine disrupter, and increases the risk of cancer (certainly breast cancer in women over 40).

I chose Nutrisystem to help me jump-start my weight loss. I figured the cost would be my motivation to stick with it, and that the weight loss would eventually take over as motivation to keep going. I've found most of the food to range from okay to delicious, and the few things I didn't like, they replaced with a smile. Some people have complained about the cost of canceling after one month, but you're told up front that the special discount/free shipping comes with a 2-month commitment, so it's ridiculous to complain. I've dealt with their customer service several times already and have found them extremely friendly and helpful. Bottom line, it's easy and delivering as promised. I've been on it about a month and have lost 12 pounds so far, and it was easy. I would recommend it, and in fact already have.

First, just the facts. In 16 months, I lost 44 pounds from 266 to 222. Reduced 4 inches from chest, 11 inches from waist and 5.5 inches from hips. That was great and amazing. My secondary goal, however, was to learn something about nutrition, especially that I was recently widowed and on my own. I was on the Nutrisytem plan for 3 months and that was what I had planned on doing from the start. It was a way to get started on a diet and now I think I can do it on my own for another 10lbs. I have lost 25lbs. One of the keys is that you do have to exercise. The food was good and gave you the right portion control which is very important. I would recommend this plan to anyone who wants to get started losing that weight and just take it from there.

The program was great. It got me started and thinking differently. The food was great with so many choices. Highly recommend to anyone that needs to kickstart a lifestyle change.

I have reached the goal I had in mind, which was to lose 20-25 pounds. I am at the 21 pound mark now and still have about 2 more weeks to remain on the program. I reached this goal in 4 months. I was skeptical when I started the program, but I had to do something different because I couldn't get the weight off just by tracking calories on my own. The program made it easy to not eat so much and the food is really good. It is so convenient that I may continue to use it for my breakfasts and lunches. 40 lbs. lighter and loving it!

More than what I hoped for... lost 75lbs in 5 months... lost 6 inches in waist size and am wearing pants I haven't been in for 25 years!!! Food was acceptable and I had a struggle eating what they wanted me to eat after about a month. Got past it and the rest is history... SUCCESS!!!

I have tried various diets before I decided to try Nutrisystem. Honestly, I thought I cannot afford it and that it probably tastes bad and would leave me starving... Well, all those were not true. My monthly grocery bill ended up much less than otherwise; the food was tasty and sufficient. I never felt hungry, but was always full and satisfied. I felt energetic and healthy. Furthermore, I lost the weight I needed to without any effort and/or work out. Nutrisystem really took out all the work from losing weight.

I felt the program worked very well. I lost the 26 pounds I wanted, and it taught me to recognize and appreciate serving size and good eating habits. However, I must be honest, even though I followed the program, I didn't care for most of the pasta dishes, didn't care for the tomato based sauces, but then the good taste probably is a problem with nutrition control. Otherwise I felt the program worked well as advertised.

The program works. I would give the program results five stars, but the lunches and customer service bring the rating down. I had great results, but wasn't given the promised family discount even though three of us joined.

Let me start with my age, 93 years old. I have been on Nutrisystem for five months. During that time, I have lost approximately 25 pounds. That combined with the much slower weight loss (when I was not utilizing your program) has allowed me to cut my medications by 75%. What I like the most about your program is it is so easy for me to fix. At my age, independence means a great deal.

Thank you to Jean, a supervisor at Nutrisystem, for resolving this matter and crediting my credit card the $82.00 "cancellation fee" that was never supposed to be charged. She also assured me that the employees would be made aware of the cancellation policy so this doesn't happen again.

My husband recommended Nutrisystem as my diet for weight loss. I have been struggling with what's on my plate and going to the gym 4-5x a week. I even considered hiring a personal trainer because I was desperate. I'm on my 3rd baby and it was harder than ever to lose the weight I gained being pregnant. I didn't want to get the Nutrisystem because it was expensive and we were on a tight budget. Well... I got it anyways. The food that I ordered came perfect! Nothing was spoiled when it arrived, nothing was damaged, etc...

I liked their food just fine. What I could not tolerate were their continual charging of my credit card, lies, refusal to credit, lack of customer service and beyond horrible business practices. I will never use their products again. Their company is in business by defrauding consumers. Unacceptable!

My husband and I were on Nutrisystem for 3 months and could not be happier with our experience. This has to be the easiest and healthiest way to lose weight. If you are married, it is ideal if your spouse does it with you because you can be an inspiration to each other.

As a Cancer survivor for close to 3 years, I had been having serious issues with weight gain, and also other health issues. After a vacation in New York, I knew I had to do something about my weight. We walked that day close to 5 hours. When I returned to my room, I was so out of breath and my legs were all red and swollen with a rash. When we returned to our home in California, I threw down my bags and grabbed the phone to call Nutrisystem! If Marie Osmond can do it, so can I! I so admire Marie for all her triumphs and success! A few months before, we went to Las Vegas to see her show with Donny. It was the best floor show I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few in my 72 years! After a week, I saw results! I loved all the foods, especially the frozen foods and I always enjoyed my desserts!

Using this Nutrisystem plan and its food, I lost 30 lbs. in a year. This is a big deal, as I have a huge permanent blood clot near my heart and into my neck that severely limits what I can do physically - so I lost that weight with very little exercise. It also taught me a strong sense of portion control and got me off sugar and diet soda. I already have bragged you up to people and I may be back myself depending upon how well I do alone.

I like Nutrisystem because if you follow the plan, you will lose the weight whether you exercise or not. It's also nice to be able to buy a la carte to maintain after reaching your goal. Drinking lots of water is the key.

I started the Nutrisystem plan to get myself going and planned on only doing it for 3 months. That is what I'm about to do. The end of my third month is coming up. This has helped me to get started and to know what I need to do. I feel confident that I can continue to lose on my own and I always can come back. I have lost at 2.5 months 21lbs and I'm happy with that. I have my daughter starting the diet now. She started last week and I hope that it will work for her. My sister started on the Nutrisystem first, so it is all in the family. I think it works.

If you follow this program, you will lose weight and feel better. It just works. The principles of small, more frequent meals including food with low glycemic index and fiber work!

I would highly recommend anyone who needs a simple and yummy way to lose weight. I loved all the online tools too. It was delivered and very organized. I lost 20 lbs in three months.

I went on Nutrisystem in January 2010. I followed the diet for 6 months to the letter. I started at 289 lbs. I finished at 241 lbs. I lost 48 lbs and kept it off for three years thereafter. Nutrisystem taught me how to eat properly. I am a diabetic. I went from four insulin shots per day to two. During the time on the diet, my blood sugar numbers improved ten folds. I’ve tried every diet known to mankind. I can honestly say that Nutrisystem is the only diet that has ever worked for me. I now want to lose another 30 lbs, and I will go on Nutrisystem again as soon as I decide when I want to start.

Having been a part of the Nutrisystem family, I have definitely learned portion control. Controlling my urges to snack, when I shouldn't, I have lost weight; I have an exercise program, and I am feeling very healthy. My thanks to your help in accomplishing this.

Not only did I not lose weight on this system, I also had a very, very hard time cancelling. I specifically asked them to cancel my account, and they did not, charging me AGAIN. Then they went on to say that they hold no responsibility over what has happened, that it was MY fault. I am absolutely disgusted with them and I definitely do not encourage anyone to waste their money. They are just trying to get your money and keep it.

I loved my Nutrisystem experience!!! I was focus and lost twenty pounds. I wanted to lose 10 more but being Caribbean, everyone started to tell me I was losing too much :). My advice to those who want to try Nutrisystem is to go for it! But please stay committed and dedicated. It can be hard not to cheat when things are available to you. But remember the money spent and the results you are looking for and I promise it will work in your favor!

I see a lot of negatives about Nutrisystem. A lot of people complained about the portion sizes and the taste of the food. Let me deal with these complaints in order:

I received the Nutrisystem food and it tasted ok. However, the food gave me stomach issues the entire time. Instead of going through the trouble of returning the food in the 14-day period, I decided to just keep food, use the 1-month supply and not re-order. Seems to me to be a fair request. They instead charged me an additional $80 to stop the program, even though I was not happy with the food. It seems to me that it is easier on all, that I did not have them pick-up the food and refund me my money. Also, the ingredients listed on the packages are all things we are told to limit like WHEAT GLUTEN. I was disappointed with all aspects of Nutrisystem.

Most of the food tasted fine but not worth 9 dollars a day and I was spending at least another 50 dollars a week on grocery items to go with the food. I didn't lose a single pound in a month on the program and I had terrible gas. But I couldn't quit early without penalties. Basically, I wasted 500 dollars that I could have spent on a gym membership. Stupid me.

I think the product is good overall. However, it tends to be the same food over and over each day. I have used the product twice and the second time I did not lose any weight. I would use the product again but it seems a little costly.

I now look like Terry Bradshaw and will start playing QB soon. You delivered on your promise. What more can I say? I'm satisfied with the results. Lost 30 pounds.

On 5/31/2013, I received the first shipment of my silver program. I quickly read through all of the material and created my grocery list. On Day 1, I had my Nutrisystem meal for breakfast and lunch, and my stomach began to hurt and I got the worst headache. Chalked it up to not feeling well. On Day 2, I decided to eat my regular meals to let my system recharge and had a Nutrisystem dinner; again, the stomach pains began and my head began pounding. I decided to give my body a rest on Day 3 and not eat any Nutrisystem meals.

My husband and I have always eaten the proper food, but as we started to age, the weight naturally started growing as well. Nutrisystem taught both of us that the most important thing in weight control is "Portion Control." Once you master the amount of food you eat, you seem to stabilize quite nicely. I also think that the quality of your food has increased substantially. Although I didn't have a lot of weight to lose, the small amounts are sometimes the hardest to lose. Thank you and I would not hesitate to use your program again.

It is an easy, convenient, and extremely effective diet program. I can't say that I was never hungry, but the resultant weight loss was well worth the sacrifice.

Nutrisystem changed my lifestyle and ultimately my life. I lost 40 pounds over a six month period. I learned good eating habits, portion control and the importance of meal planning. I got back into serious fitness training (Serious for me at least :-) ). I went into the maintenance program, learned to cook healthy foods and keep the weight off so I was ready to do it on my own. It has been a year and a half now and I am still maintaining. I would recommend Nutrisystem to anyone that wants to control their weight. You only need to bring a few tools of your own... discipline and determination.

I began the NutriSystem weight loss program on 01-01-2012 after being on several different programs. This is by far the best program that I have ever been on. I lost 150 pounds in 11 months while I was on the program with very little exercise. The meals were great and I always felt as if I had plenty to eat without feeling hungry. I went off the program in December of 2012 and I still continued to lose weight. I lost an additional 20 pounds. The program teaches you how to eat and eat the right foods. I spend a lot of time on the road and used to stop at fast food restaurants. I have learned that there is nothing you can really eat at a fast food restaurant and drive right by them. Their food is filled with sodium - even the salads if you look at them for nutrition content has elevated amounts of sodium in them. I have been going to supermarkets and making salads from their salad bar and picking up like a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread and a little bit of fruit. I can't believe how my energy level has gone up since losing the weight and I feel great. I have had no problem in keeping the weight off. Thank you, NutriSystem for helping me out. P.S. The price is bad. I want to lose weight, not go broke. I was just looking for some help, not run around and lose money.

Knowing someone else was doing Nutrisystem and getting results, I decided to try it in order to get back down to a proper weight. I know everyone talks about watching portion sizes (which is probably more important than watching calories), but Nutrisystem made it easy. After I got past week 2, I was used to small amounts of food six times a day.

This program got me in the habit of eating the right portions. Treating myself to 5 chocolate raisins, eating them slowly as other items of my favorite foods.

Hello all! I have been on Nutrisystem since late September and paired with exercising, I have gone from 274 to 212 in 8 months. I feel like a brand new person! The only reason I am stopping the program is because I feel like I have been given the power to make my own portions and have self-control. I gave this 4/5 because of the quality of food. I loved the breakfast and lunch options, but I wasn't crazy over all of the pasta based dinners or all of the crunchy, savory "desserts." I highly recommend Nutrisystem to anyone who can stick to a guided program!

Nutrisystem really has got it down. When they say all you have to do is eat the food, it's not a lie. So easy to follow you can't help but lose weight. The staff is also great to talk to. It was a good experience and the weight is still off.

Since starting Nutrisystem in May 2012, I've lost 94lbs. I've always been skeptical of diet plans and started this one with little faith. Boy, was I wrong. In the first month, I lost 25lbs. Thankfully, I didn't take this journey alone. My roommate is also on Nutrisystem, and between the two of us, we've lost over 150lbs. Our success has prompted friends and co-workers to also start the program. The great thing about NS is that you can still eat things you enjoy, like pasta, pastries, and ice cream. Anytime someone asks how we've lost the weight, we proudly say that we did it with NS.

Great food. I lost 20 pounds in 2 months! Food was great. I was hungry at first but was great. Program worked fantastic! I will do it again if I gain weight back! Why would you not do the program?

I lost 20 pounds and only Nutrisystem had the methods that finally worked for me. The small portion sizes really made the difference. Now I'm comfortable eating smaller portions. I never would have been able to cut down on portion sizes without Nutrisystem.

Of course, I am responsible for what I write! Except for that ridiculous warning given in this comment box, I was very pleased with the program provided by Nutrisystem. I learned many good habits as a result of my experience and I lost about 26 pounds over eleven weeks.

Loved the food and it really works. My only complaint is that I can't stay on it forever. It was a bit pricier than doing it on your own.

I would have ordered all frozen entrees and ice cream if I had the choice. I have a lot of freeze-dried entrees and lunches left over after I lost my desired weight. I guess I'll save them for my next diet.

They have all different kinds of foods... something for every craving. You will love the frozen selections... you will feel like you are not on a diet.

I have used Nutrisystem about three times over the last 20 years, for anywhere from 12 to 20 lbs. of loss (about 3-4% of body mass) in two to three months. Has worked for me because it really takes most of the decisions out of the process, and is relatively easy to take lunches and snacks to the office. Most of the entrees are reasonably good. (Look: It's diet food. It is never going to be as good as the real thing. But it is generally tasty and satisfying. You still need determination, a goal, and willpower.)

I was interested in buying a la carte items for maintenance. I wanted to buy the Select 10 package, but then I saw that you were automatically enrolled in a three-month program. I wish you could buy a la carte items as needed and not be committed to a 3-month program. That is the only thing that would keep me from buying from Nutrisystem. I am only looking for a month of maintenance.

I was considering ordering Nutrisystem to drop a few pounds and was pleased to see a starter kit from Walmart for $45. Was I shocked, the food is simply terrible! Full of processed chemicals. A few of the snacks were edible. The small amount of food simply isn't worth the cost. I did even more research about their questionable and misleading business tactics in cancelling their program. Not what I expect from a company that has been around as long as they have. Glad I found out in time before signing up. What is even more incredible is that it is $300 a month! I also have to wonder if Nutrisystem staff are sneaking reviews on this site. Save yourself the money and heartache. You can buy fresh real organic food for a lot less. Eat sensibly and exercise. This is what I will be doing. My advice is to stay clear of this company. Good luck.

I had been fighting weight gain, up and down, for years. Raising children, taking care of aging parents, lack of money, all kept me from taking the step to sticking with a program that would help me achieve my goal. Nutrisystem was easy to follow. The meals and snacks could be used away from home or on vacation. Nutrisystem taught me how to eat, and made me realize I needed to put less on my plate!!! I have lost 24lbs and am maintaining that weight. Thank you Nutrisystem!!!

Thirteen years ago I started a new career. I went from a physical job to a desk job. Over those 13 years, I gained 75 lbs and I was finding it was getting harder and harder to play sports and Mountain/Road bike. A buddy asked me to do a road race with him in later this year and I thought there is no way I can do this at my current weight. So March of this year, I decided to start the NS program and exercise with my road bike on a trainer (in-doors). I have done other races before and I have only lost 15lbs in 3 months and tried to watch what I was eating.

Tried to place a single order yesterday. I learned, to my dismay, that I'd be assessed a $90 penalty if I didn't order the 2nd month. I felt the whole deal was a bait and switch. Will never order from Nutrisystem again and will share my views with others. I have some gift cards and won't use them. I certainly won't give them to anyone to use. You've lost me.

I received first 28-day supply. 90 percent of it has tasted good to excellent, and I've lost about ten pounds from 180. The system works. When you feel really hungry, you know you're losing it. An NS snack helps to take the edge off. I have another 30 days or so to go. I know I'll meet my goal to be back at 155 lbs, my 17-year-old weight, in the CCC.

For me, Nutrisystem was easy to follow with all the instructional tools available both online and included with the shipments. I knew what types of foods I should choose throughout the day and how much of each. I enjoyed being able to pick extra of the NS meals I loved the most and skip the ones I didn't. There was a large selection of foods to choose from (both NS and add-ons) that kept me from getting bored, even after several months of using Nutrisystem! Plus the food was very good!

This program really worked for me. It taught me how to eat properly. I am able to maintain a healthy weight for the first time in my life!

I believe Nutrisystem worked for me because of two significant reasons: 1- I learned a valuable lesson about portion control; and 2- the packaged meals allowed me to have a balanced diet and provide a choice of meals, snacks and deserts that would be difficult for me to buy and prepare on my own.

I found the food to be surprisingly good. I was on the program for 11 months and have lost 6-7 dress sizes and 70lbs. It has been a year and half since and I am still the same weight, but continue to tone. Many people in my life asked what I had done and how I was able to have such success. I was happy to tell and was surprised to learn that about 7 family members and close friends had started the program after me. I remain thankful for the NS lifestyle and confident that I will continue to grow and my health journey for the rest of my life.

My wife decided to buy one week (one box) at Walmart. We are disappointed. The food doesn't taste good. Even Chicken Alfredo had a strange taste and color was not white but brown. We are trying to eat healthier. We are avoiding sugar, carbs, starch, bread... We are trying to eat lots of green stuff. Now this Nutrysystem is loaded with carbs and sugars - pasta, mashed potato, bread, pizza, etc. But portions are so small that is laughable. I understand it is a diet, but volume of food is too small. Bars. They could include bars based on sugar alcohols (such as Atkins bars), but no, these bars are loaded with sugar and syrup.

First, NutriSystem claims that they have been helping people lose weight for over 40 years. They forgot to mention that was only after they suddenly shut their doors and kept the money of everyone who was currently participating. So now, they reappear with their same old tired recipes and the folks that so badly want to lose weight line up. It is so sad to see. I suggest you try Weight Watchers, the only thing that has worked for me. I got healthy AND lost weight eating fruit, vegetables, lean meats, etc. I feel so healthy!! And guess what happens when you reach your goal weight? You continue eating the same great food because you have retrained yourself. Instead of gaining it ALL back after going off their tasteless meals. I'm just saying ;)

The last time I was on Nutrisystem, the products were great; however, any products that I ordered during the hot months I felt were compromised by the heat. They arrived melted and you could tell that even the bars that were not chocolate did not look good. I plan on rejoining soon and taking my daughter along with me for this experience and I am hoping that this problem has been solved at your end.

Nutrisystem positives - Food tastes good, great variety/choices, teaches portion control, support is excellent, provides opportunity to add fresh fruit/veggies, very convenient, affordable, packaged to bring along wherever. We reached our target goals in 2 months.

Nutrisystem was the most successful diet I have ever tried. I was 170 lbs on July 1, 2012. I am now 147 lbs. My goal is to reach 140 by July 1, 2013. I stayed with Nutrisystem Women's Basic plan for about 4 months. Then I switched to Weekend's Off. By Christmas 2012, I was on Nutrisystem a la carte. I have learned to eat healthy using Nutrisytem's grocery guide and the online support. I have earned two Nutribears. I am looking forward to my third Nutribear by July 1. Thank you.

As I got older, I found it much more difficult to lose weight. I used to be able to lose 10 lbs easily, but was struggling to get rid of the extra lbs. I now found I needed to lose around 20 lbs. I also exercised regularly and still couldn't drop any weight. I decided to try Nutrisystem and was able to lose the 20 lbs in less than two months. I thought with the portion sizes, I'd be hungry all the time. But after a week, I found the plan kept my appetite in control. With a variety of different foods, there is something for everybody's liking.

The Nutrisystem program works for me because the food is good and there is such a variety. It is fun to decide what to eat for the day without having to make it. Of course, you add in some vegetables and fruits, but overall, it is so well laid out for you. I have been on other diets but the ease of this works for me. There are meals for on the go days. Nutrisystem contacted me and discussed the issue. They listened and after hearing me out offered a refund. I am impressed that this company stands behind their product 100% and it should be even that much more reason for others to at least give them a chance, if they are planning to lose weight. Nutrisystems did the right thing...something you don't see much of today in this business environment. Their sound eating process worked for me, just not the food itself. Perhaps it can work for you.

I lost all the weight I wanted (30 lbs) on this great program. The food is easy to prepare and very affordable. I loved the meals and snacks!

I can't eat bell peppers which limit my selections. All the meals with any type of meat tasted processed, not fresh. Eating meatless meals limited my selection to the same couple of foods every day which was boring. I did lose 11 lbs. the first 2 weeks, but next to nothing afterward. I should have lost several pounds each week as I was extremely hungry and felt physically hungry the entire 2 months. I felt like I was starving.

It was definitely the right thing for me and worked as described. I lost 30 lbs in 3 month and feel equipped to keep it off. If I ever am in need again, I'll be on the phone asap. Great taste, ease of use, super supports in place. All in all, a really good experience.

I followed the program and lost the weight quickly and easily. I never felt like I was being starved to lose the weight. I learned what the good foods to eat are and the substitutes for some foods that I should stay away from. Although at the time, I was unable to exercise but following the program, I still lost the weight I needed to.

Nutrisystem is by far the best decision I have ever made for myself. I started the program in December of 2011 at 179 pounds. I included a picture of me of what I looked like at the time. I honestly don't recognize that girl anymore. I was so miserable all of the time. I had Gerd, insomnia and never ending backaches. I was so self-conscious and shy that I just existed. I will admit I was kind of a snob. I hated pre-packaged frozen food and thought I could lose weight on my own. But with working shift work and a lot of overtime, I would find myself hitting fast food and not even cooking. And when I did, I ate way too much food in one sitting. I had seen several commercials for Nutrisystem at the time. My sister-in-law had just lost a lot of weight doing another program like it, but it was too expensive and she really couldn't say anything good about it, just that it was hard and she was tired of eating certain foods.

I have used Nutrisystem to lose and maintain my weight (an ongoing fight, I might add) since 1982. It is a reliable, well-understood and well-organized plan which helps me immeasurably and I would (and have) recommend it to any person who is ready to be serious about weight control.

I suffer with the poor quality of the food because I will do anything to lose more weight. I lost 15 pounds on my first month on Nutrisystem but can't seem to get a second delivery. After many calls to 1-877-718-5646, I have had several different representatives to deal with. The first one blew my mind. Her comment after being of no help was to say, "I hate the computer." Aren't your representatives working with computers? On the subject of delivery, I followed all the rules. I went on my computer and chose my new program (Silver) and sent in my request. Please respond positively! I certainly cannot advise my friends to use Nutrisystem after this experience.

I liked having food sent to me and not having to shop as much. It forced me to buy more veggies. I had food to take for lunch at work. I liked the easy and go bars for lunch since I often don't have access to a microwave and I enjoyed getting the beer as a milestone. Now that I started again, I hope to reach more milestones.

I tried to order desserts, not willing to pay shipping. If you are able to include shipping on a full order; it should be able to have free shipping when spending $50!

I started the program and was on it for three months. I lost 35 pounds by following the Nutrisystem guidelines. I never did get hungry and always felt full. My doctor wanted me to lose 60 pounds and I am still watching what I eat. I am still trying to lose another 30 pounds. I went from a size 46 down to a 42 in three months. I could never do that on my own. I recommend Nutrisystem to anyone who needs to lose weight.

I lost 32 pounds on Nutrisystem last year. The weight came off safely, about 2 pounds per week. The food was delicious, the program was easy to follow and it fit into my very busy lifestyle.
