Roadway Moving Reviews

I was familiar with Roadway Moving. I initially was going to use them a few years ago. Just the opportunity fell through on my end. This time, prior to using them, researched on which other company I could use. They were in the middle in terms of pricing range. What helped lean more towards Roadway is where they were located, which is severely close to where I was moving from, and not too far from where I moved to. Because they were so close, maybe they would be there when they said. There wouldn't have to be a worry on traffic and things like that, because they were a few blocks away. Make sure that you do you due diligence, but go with what you're comfortable with. I just felt comfortable with Roadway, so I chose them.

I had a great experience with Roadway Moving. They are better than any other moving company I've used, and I've used a lot for either long haul or short haul moves. I would recommend them to anybody, and I would use them again. I hate moving, and I hate most moving companies. So, I wanted to go with the most reliable moving company with the best reviews. In doing my research, Montway was at the top of that. They also had great prices. Everybody was great, but the initial person that I spoke to was helpful and informative. He went through a detailed list of everything that I had and everything that I was moving, which gave him all the information he needed to give me an accurate quote, which was accurate for what I needed. I just needed 15 or 30 minutes more than what we thought that it would be, which is not bad when you move. I just had one conversation with him, and based on that, I committed to using them for my move.

As a mom, moving day was one of those things I had been stressing about for weeks. Thankfully, Roadway Moving made the whole process so much easier than I expected (and I usually do the move with my husband with no professional help)! We had 3 movers who showed up on time, worked incredibly hard, and were so careful with our furniture and boxes. They were friendly, respectful, and kept us updated throughout the day, which really helped put my mind at ease. They even made sure everything was placed where we wanted it in our new place, which my husband and I really appreciated!

I used Roadway for the first time ever this month, and I cannot express how seamless the experience was. I've moved a lot in the last few years and always tried to do it myself, and every time, it was so miserable and always harder than I'd expected (physically, mentally, and logistically). I opted for the full-packing experience, which made move week SO much less stressful. Beyond a pre-move declutter, I really didn't have to think about the move much at all. On move day, Javier and Antonio were so professional and answered all my questions (I had so many because I'd never done it before) and they had answers for all of my "how does this work?" musings and then some. They brought all of their own supplies from packing materials to tools, and were honestly more careful with my stuff than I ever could have been (especially because once I lose steam and start tossing things in boxes with no labels or care if they make it to the final location).

I used Roadway Moving for a move that was about an hour south, from White Plains to Midtown Manhattan. I enjoyed interacting with the movers themselves better than the coordinator. We had scheduled a two-day move, but I would have preferred a one day move. When the movers came, they told me that they didn't really have anything else going on that day. So, they could have done a one-day move. That was the one thing that bothered me because as a result, they came, they packed everything day one, which was a Sunday, and that included my mattress. So, I had to find a place to stay that night, which was not the mover's fault. I actually preferred that they pack everything, but it would have been better if it was just done all in one shot. They did arrive early enough to do that.

Great experience moving from Boston, MA down to Austin, TX using Roadway Moving. They showed up promptly when they said they would and immediately got to work protecting floors and corners where they would be working in the home. They did a great job wrapping furniture by protecting the corners, using moving blankets and boxes to protect everything. They also account for each item using QR codes to make sure every piece arrives. Delivery went seamlessly as well, everything arrived in great shape! Will definitely use Roadway again for our next move!

I had a difficult move from one high-rise to another with both buildings only providing short windows to reserve the freight elevator. Marcos, Gayle, and Pablo coordinated with my front desk to find out when they could use the elevator, worked with the other movers doing moves in the building, and moved the truck around to make it work on a busy Chicago summer moving day. I didn't even have to take off work because they took all of the stress off of me and handled EVERYTHING. They packed all of my things with great care; they were well organized and protected so nothing was lost or broken! This was my first time using movers and I will never go back, I cannot recommend Roadway enough! Thank you Marcos, Gayle, and Pablo!

Greg’s team was amazing and they made my move so seamless. They were incredibly thoughtful, patient and considerate with me and my belongings. I will definitely be using roadway again and I will be recommending it to others as well.

I’ve now used Roadway Moving for my third move, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. This was my second cross-country move with them, this time from Atlanta to Chicago, and they were just as great as I remembered. The movers were incredibly kind, professional, and careful with everything. They wrapped all of my furniture and belongings with so much care, and somehow managed to work quickly without making the process feel rushed. Moving cross-country is stressful enough, and Roadway made the whole experience so much easier. I’ll absolutely be using them again for my next move!

Jonathan, Francisco, and Hanzel were so detailed, kind, and made the whole process stress free. I had lots of glassware and special pieces that needed to be wrapped and they were beyond professional! I will pick them for every move and my only wish is that I worked with Roadway sooner!

Moving with Roadway was by far the best moving experience I’ve ever had! It was our first time hiring movers and we are truly never going back to doing it ourselves! Melvin and his crew were so great and wrapped and packed everything with such care. We hadn’t even finished packing before they got to our old house, and they packed everything else up for us so quickly! Everything was super organized, labeled by room, and they moved anything around that we needed them to at the new place. They disassembled and reassembled all our big furniture and made sure all of our fragile items were taken care of. What was estimated to be a 2-day move took them less than one full day!! These guys were the best, and our dog loved them too! Roadway made moving such an amazing and stress-free experience, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to move! :)

Roadway Moving made my move so much less stressful! I booked with them only about a week before moving day, and they were a huge help with all of the furniture I couldn’t have managed on my own. The entire process was organized and easy, with great communication leading up to the move and throughout the day. I recently used Roadway Moving for an apartment move in NYC and had a really positive experience. The movers actually arrived a little early, which gave us some extra time to make sure everything was organized before getting started. They were professional, friendly, and very careful with my furniture throughout the move. They wrapped all of my larger furniture, carefully loaded everything onto the truck, and handled the logistics of getting everything out of my old apartment and into the new one. It also started raining during the move, but they kept everything moving and made sure my furniture and boxes were protected from the weather.

I cannot recommend Roadway enough! They were so communicative and efficient and helped make my cross-country move as effortless and stress-free as possible. I had a million questions that they answered with care and in a quick, efficient manner. The moving team was so lovely and kind, arriving on time and helping to wrap a few loose crates I couldn't get to stay shut. They kept me in the loop as my items moved and the delivery was seamless. Roadway did an incredible job moving my daughter into her first college apartment. They packed everything up, traveled to her college apartment and unpacked everything all in one day. It made moving so easy and fast! They are professional and took such great care to make sure everything was packaged up and protected for the move. I moved with Roadway from Dallas to Los Angeles and had the best experience! Such a great an experience. It was seamless and easy moving from state to state. Moving from Los Angeles to Miami could be really difficult logistically and Roadway made that easy with prepacking safety, delivery timing, and setting things up. Highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Roadway Moving. I have a lot of valuable antiques and unique furniture pieces, so I was nervous about how they'd be handled, but the team took incredible care of everything. Watching them carefully pack my eight-foot throne was honestly a spectacle to behold! I chose to pack most of my own belongings since I didn't want anyone else handling my things, but seeing how organized and careful the crew was with the smaller items that got left behind gave me total confidence that if they had packed the entire place, I have no doubt they would have done it flawlessly.

I was moving apartments, and Roadway Moving was the one that was best-rated. The service was excellent. Their team stood out to me. They were very professional. Roadway made my move a lot easier. They took all the stress away. The total moving process was so quick. Including the drive, it took maybe an hour.

I had the most amazing experience with Roadway Moving! They supported me in a cross country move from OC to Idaho and I have zero complaints. Everything was wrapped, no damage was done, and most importantly, they made moving SO simple and easy. I felt so supported each step of the way! I still don't understand how they got my boxes to me in literally 2 days - insane. Thank you. Thank you! 10/10 recommend.

Truly did not have to lift a finger. My belongings were handled with care, the movers were incredibly kind, and everything was efficient! I was anticipating my move to take the entire day, because a maximalist, I have so many belongings. But my whole entire apartment was moved out in less than just 5 hours!

I couldn’t say more good things about Roadway Moving. Very friendly, very professional and so thorough. Even when I threw some curve balls at them they handled it with a smile and said no problem. Highly recommend.
