To get started, you’ll need to request a free quote online. One of the company’s experienced Relocation Specialists will schedule an in-person or virtual consultation to discuss your moving needs and pricing. On moving day, you can track your belongings in real time using the Roadway Moving app.

Roadway Moving offers various moving services, including residential moves and company relocations. The company can handle local, interstate or international moves, though some services are not available in every location. Roadway Moving includes the following services with every move:
- Wrapping and packing of mattresses, flat-screen TVs, couches, chairs, electronics, lamps, paintings and mirrors.
- Assembly and disassembly of tables, armoires, china cabinets and shelves
- Protection for floors, corners and walls
For items that require a little extra care to pack and move, Roadway Moving provides specialty services for art collections, pianos and pool tables.
The company’s signature White Glove service, which is an additional charge, uses higher quality packing materials and custom-made wooden crates to protect especially valuable belongings.

Roadway Moving costs
Roadway Moving does not publish costs on its website. You’ll need to request a free quote online and speak to a Relocation Specialist for move-specific pricing.
The company promises transparent pricing, so quotes include labor and transportation costs (mileage, gas and tolls). Tips for the movers are not included but encouraged – $20 to $50 per mover is standard, depending on the type of move.

I spoke with one of Roadway's service reps and we went through in detail about what I have. I did a two-bedroom apartment move about five miles up the road. Three people came for the move and from start to finish, it took three hours. Overall, Roadway Moving is reliable and quick, and their quote was very accurate. We had easy communication and I would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I recently used Roadway Moving for our local move and had a really great experience with Antonio and Jack. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole process feel a lot less stressful. They took great care of our things and made sure everything got moved safely. They wrapped all of our furniture, packed our wardrobe, and handled everything with care. They also went above and beyond by helping us unpack some things and set up our rugs and smaller items in the new apartment. Having them help with those extra things took a lot off our plates and made moving day run much more smoothly. Roadway Moving has been fantastic for my family on two separate occasions. The first time I used them was during an apartment move, and I was honestly blown away by how seamless they made the entire process. The movers were punctual, careful with every item, efficient, and incredibly professional from start to finish. Moving is usually stressful, but they made it feel easy.
After such a positive experience, we hired them again to help move couches and furniture between three different locations for my family. There were a few logistical hiccups during the day that were outside of anyone’s control, but the Roadway team handled everything calmly and without a single complaint. They immediately adapted, helped figure everything out, and never made the situation feel stressful. What stood out most both times was their professionalism, communication, and willingness to help no matter what came up. You can tell they genuinely care about customer experience. Moving is always stressful, which is why it's so important to hire good movers! This was my 2nd local move with Roadway and both times I was so impressed by how punctual and efficient the movers were, not to mention their overall professionalism and friendliness. Both moves went as smooth as you could hope for and it was due to their high level of experience. I appreciated how organized and thorough they were, whether its was expertly dissembling/assembling furniture, wrapping up furniture to ensure they were safely transported, making sure boxes were labeled, so they knew where to put them, and offering to take away empty boxes after the move. I was also grateful for how friendly they were to my dog who was around during the move. They even managed to make it a pleasant experience for him by always taking a moment to pet him when they passed by him, despite how busy they were!

This is my second time using Roadway. The first time was for a local move within Los Angeles, and then now to the East Coast. This was a somewhat different process given the distance, but the experience was the same as before. Very kind, very professional, very efficient. The thing I liked the most for long distance move was the use of QR codes. Every box you have will be labeled with a QR code that gets scanned at move out and again for the move-in, to ensure everything got there safely.
Also, roadway isn't a brokerage that brings on independent contractors. I had my car shipped by a company that does this and the experience is so different. the independent contractors can have a completely different vibe than the company you booked them through, and can even try to squeeze extra money out of you on the day of. but with Roadway, the people who coordinate your move and the people who actually do the moving work for the same company. So there's a MUCH more consistent experience across the board when dealing with different people, and you pay the price they quote you without wondering if the movers are going to try to squeeze more on the day of.
ADVICE. The first time I used Roadway, I let them do all the packing for me. The second time, I packed myself. Honestly, if you're doing an out-of-city/out-of-state move, just let them do the packing. Yeah you'll save a few hundred dollars or more if you pack it yourself, but I wish I spent that extra time actually saying more proper goodbye's and having hangouts rather than packing. That would have relieved so much more stress. They ended up packing some things (because apparently I didn't pack everything properly lol) and the boxes they packed were in much better condition than the ones I packed.
Thankfully nothing was broken, and I believe they handled all my stuff with care. I just packed really really heavy stuff in boxes without the proper wrapping and insulation on the inside. So matter how it was handled, those boxes were going to see some tattering. This is a classic example of just let the professionals do what the professionals are used to doing everyday. When you're tired and rushing to meet move-out deadlines, even you may not give your valuables the care and attention that the professionals do on a regular basis. So all around, if you can spare it, just pay Roadway to handle everything from packing to moving and unpacking. Everyone was super kind and helpful and felt trustworthy. Would have no problem using Roadway again.

I haven’t heard a single person say movers were not worth it so I knew I had to hire a moving company for the next stage in my life. The team made my moving anxiety disappear the second they came. It’s my second time using Roadway and they make the process easy as pie! They dropped off boxes and bubble wrap a week in advance, I packed up my the small items in my apartment like clothes, books and kitchen items, and they took care of the rest. The team at Roadway took the shelves off my wall, carefully wrapped my dining table and hauled my many, many boxes of kitchen supplies out of my apartment. Nobody likes moving, but it was much less of a hassle having helping hands from Roadway Moving. A couple weeks later and I’m fully settled into my new apartment…much speedier than if I had done it on my own. Thank you Roadway!

Roadway Moving is truly the best out there. I have used them twice before. One for a long distance move from LA and another within Manhattan. Each time they have taken such amazing care of my belongings and have moved everything with great care. I will only be using Roadway Movers moving forward as they are truly the best in the industry. On move in day, they were scheduled to arrive at 9 am and I was already moved out by 10:15 am. I have never experienced a faster move before. I feel so at ease with their assistance during my move!

I’ve worked with Roadway a handful of times and every time they exceed my expectations. They handle all of my belongings with care. Nothing ever gets damaged. This move we had complicated wardrobes, they had to take apart and put back together, they did it with ease and no damage to the wardrobes. The crew is always so nice. I will always use Roadway!

This is my 4th move with Roadway and I’ve done both local and cross country moves with them. My things always come back perfect (especially pc equipment). The movers are so nice and never pushy about tips even though I always tip of course. 10/10 would use again!

Just used Roadway Moving for my move from a house into an apartment and honestly…stupid easy. Booking was smooth, communication was on point the whole time, and the crew showed up ready to work. They moved everything quick but still took care of my stuff like it was theirs. No stress, no weird surprises, no dragging it out all day. Whole move was way faster than I expected and way more organized than any other move I’ve done. If you’re trying to move and don’t want a headache, this is the move. Highly recommend.

I have used Roadway Moving for 2 local moves and now a cross-country move! They are so kind and professional and they have taken great care of my furniture and belongings. All furniture is carefully wrapped to avoid scratches and dents and my things are packed well. This is my second time using Roadway's full packing service, and I cannot recommend them enough. Moving is such a stressful endeavor, and they always make it so much easier, handling every curveball with expertise and great customer service. This time, I was moving my stuff into a storage unit, and they had all the proper materials to protect my furniture. Carlos and his team were amazing at figuring out how to fit all my things into the storage unit so that the boxes I may need access to in between were accessible. So thankful I had them with me for this transition.

I just moved to a new apartment in Dallas & had literally one FULL day to move out & in from the old to the new place! Complications on the apartment side but WOW, I am so blessed with Roadway! The movers were so efficient & gave me the time to sweep & mop my old place & stayed at my new place getting all my belongings safely AND rebuilt in the appropriate rooms. Truly the best experience on such a busy day + Operating my business on the side this day...without them I would have truly broken down LOL. Thankyou Roadway!

We used Roadway Moving for our long-distance move from California to Illinois and had a great experience from start to finish. The crew was on time, friendly, and extremely organized. They wrapped everything carefully, labeled items clearly, and had a really solid inventory system. We also appreciated the communication throughout the process, especially for a cross-country move. Delivery day was a huge relief because everything arrived safely, and the team was efficient and careful unloading and placing items in the house. Overall, the whole move felt structured and much less stressful than past experiences. Highly recommend Roadway if you’re planning a long-distance move!
