Roadway Moving's marketing really caught my eye, especially since I was planning a cross-country move and wanted everything to be smooth and reliable. The reviews I came across online were genuinely impressive, and that gave me the confidence to choose them. The actual moving process was great. I connected with their representative, and although I had some planning complications on my end, they handled everything very smoothly. I was worried because I'd be in Seoul, South Korea when my belongings were to be delivered, and they worked with me on giving power of attorney to a friend, providing clear instructions throughout. They were truly helpful when the person initially scheduled to accept my delivery had to back out just days before, and they supported me through that switch with patience, making the experience stress-free.
During the move day, the team worked hard—it was a long, hot day, but they managed remarkably, even bringing in another team member to ensure timely completion. They were respectful and considerate, leading me to feel comfortable and secure with them in my space. Their effort impressed me enough to get them lunch and tip them for the day. Overall, there was an evident match between the quality of service we received and the value advertised. They may charge a little bit more, but everything was handled with care and didn't have any broken items. This is one of those situations where you get what you pay for.

We were moving 'cause we wanted to live in a nicer space, which was just about a mile or so. I chose Roadway Moving because I have seen them a lot on social media and they're a popular moving company in the area that I live in.
Throughout the move, the team showed exceptional availability and thoroughness, particularly during the planning and quoting stages. Even though the quote was slightly on the pricey side, their help was invaluable, and it was comforting to have their support so readily available.
The movers truly went above and beyond, often assisting with unexpected tasks, like taking down trash bags. They really listened, and their efficiency and willingness to help in any way possible stood out, making the overall process smooth. We really appreciated that.
I'd recommend Roadway Moving for their efficiency. When rating the customer service and service quality, I'd confidently give them a 5, though the cost might lean towards a 4 due to its higher price.
Ultimately, Roadway Moving provided a commendable experience with their attentive service and helpfulness beyond just moving our belongings.

I was considering another company called Piece of Cake due to a significant $700 savings. However, the poor reviews and negative reputation, including an investigation by the Better Business Bureau, deterred me from risking it with them. Bob or Dave from Roadway provided critical information, including YouTube videos and reassurances of their quality service, convincing me to go with them.
The move itself was from New York to New Jersey, roughly an hour's drive. We thought we packed lightly, but it turned out there was more than anticipated. The Roadway team was professional, organized, and quick. They not only helped us efficiently pack more stuff into our boxes but managed the entire move from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., ensuring everything was unpacked promptly.
I had such a great experience that I already requested the same team for any future moves. The service they provided was beyond excellent. I've recommended them to my partners even though they were the priciest option. But if you value getting your belongings intact, they're worth every penny.
The entire experience was top-notch, rating 5 out of 5 across the board – from customer service to quality and price. They went above and beyond what's described on their website, even packing our large TV screens in crates —a crucial touch for delicate items. The website was easy to navigate, making the setup straightforward.
In short, their service left me exceptionally satisfied, and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Roadway Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and careful moving service.

We had used Roadway Moving before and decided to return to a known entity. This time around, we had a significant move across state lines. Unfortunately, setting up the move was a bit challenging. I felt like the sales representative didn't fully listen, resulting in unnecessary charges like fees for walk-ups that weren't accurate. Working with the sales rep was difficult, which was disappointing.
However, the actual moving crew was fantastic. They were extremely efficient, quick, and very pleasant despite having to work through a long day with traffic and at two different locations. Their kindness and flexibility were impressive, and we were really happy with their service. The crew handled both the packing and unpacking, ensuring a seamless process throughout the day.
If a friend or family asked my opinion, I'd honestly discuss the difficulty I faced with the sales representative, which might give me second thoughts about using them again. However, given how smoothly everything else went thanks to the move coordinator and the movers themselves, I would still recommend them.
Despite some initial hiccups, if I were to rate the overall experience, I would give it four stars because of the sales rep issue. Yet, under the four-star exterior, there's a five-star moving crew experience. When thinking about the actual customer service from the sales end, that would sadly be rated as one star. As for the price, I found it quite reasonable, worthy of another four stars.
My interaction with Roadway Moving had its ups and downs. It's worth mentioning that if it wasn't for the commendable moving team, my outlook might have been different. They turned an otherwise questionable experience into a worthwhile one.

I was moving for work and wanted to support a local moving company where I was. I decided to choose Roadway Moving because I came across several positive reviews about them on platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
From the start, my interaction with the moving coordinator was impressive. He maintained regular communication with me throughout the entire process, checked in frequently, and kept me well-informed about timelines and details. He was on top of everything.
On the day of the move, the crew was efficiently quick and diligent in handling my items. They packed everything up swiftly and systematically put them into the truck. The only aspect that could have been improved was related to floor protection at the pickup location - they didn't lay down protective coverings for the floors as expected, but it wasn't a major concern for me.
Overall, I had a positive experience with Roadway Moving. I would rate my experience a 5 out of 5, and I’d gladly recommend them to others.

This is my second time using Roadway - First time using Roadway - I had a last minute move from Michigan to South Florida, and we decided to use Roadway Moving to get us there. I appreciate how fast and responsive they were throughout the entire process. My second time using Roadway was a local move. When they picked up my belongings, they were extremely thorough with wrapping our pieces, which I could not be more grateful for! They were on time making the day that much easier! Had the best time with roadway! They are fast and efficient! I use them every move! 10/10. I didn’t have to lift a finger and they helped so much with amount of items that I had. It took them about 4 hours to pack up a whole apartment! If you're looking for movers for your next move I highly recommend Roadway! It’s made moving so much easier!

The only movers I would ever think of calling! This was my second time using Roadway and would use them one hundred more times! They were so careful, fast, and efficient. Roadway Moving was new to Chicago so I knew the trucks and equipment would be in top condition. The team was very professional, fast, and managed the entire move neatly without any damage to my belongings. Nothing got broken, and everything arrived in the same condition it was packed in, which left me with no complaints.
I must mention, though, that the initial scheduling process wasn't crystal clear, and at a price of $750 for a move that took just an hour and 40 minutes, I feel there's room for adjustment in their pricing. Customer service was excellent, and the entire service met my expectations. I didn’t utilize the website, handling everything by phone instead. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Roadway Moving to others for their efficiency and care in handling my possessions. If pricing gets looked into a bit more, they’d be flawless in my book.
