I picked Roadway Moving based on a recommendation from a podcast that featured a few influencers talking about their experiences. The move itself involved a two-bedroom apartment, just five miles up the road. I connected with one of their service reps to thoroughly go through the inventory to get an accurate quote, which matched perfectly with the final price.
On moving day, a team of three arrived, and the entire process, from start to finish, took only about three hours. I was truly impressed by how quick and efficient they were. The communication was easy and they were reliable. The overall experience was smooth and I would recommend Roadway Moving to friends and family.

I had the pleasure of using Roadway Moving Company recently, and I can confidently say this was the best moving experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, efficient, and totally stress-free, which gave me the opportunity to enjoy the last few moments in my San Francisco apartment. First off, punctuality was on point — the team arrived right on time, ready to get to work. No waiting around or wondering when they'd show up, which already put me at ease.
A huge shoutout to the amazing team — Andrés, Ivan, and Jonathan — who went above and beyond. They were punctual, arriving right on time, and immediately got to work with incredible efficiency. I booked their full pack service, and it was worth every penny. I didn’t have to pack a single thing myself — they took care of everything, wrapping and boxing all my belongings with expert precision. They were not only incredibly professional, but also extremely hardworking and fast-paced, moving quickly without ever compromising on care or quality. After considering several moving companies, I chose Roadway Moving. The recommendation came from our broker, who had positive things to say about them. I found their service exceptional and the process was amazingly well-organized.
I interacted with Miles and Marius, who were integral in both the planning and execution of the move. Miles stood out for his proactive approach, handling logistics and even inspecting the freight elevator at our new apartment to ensure everything would run smoothly. This preparation was truly comforting and reassuring.
The communication throughout the three-day move was commendable. Whenever I had questions about logistics or extra needs, Miles was easily reachable, which made the entire moving experience stress-free.
Though the service was magnificent, I wondered if I overpaid. We ended up spending $20,000, and felt a bit steep when I considered friends' experiences costing much less. I feel $15,000 might have been more reasonable given the premium service, which was close to a white-glove experience.
Initially, I visited the website to get a quote but was redirected toward the VIP service, which caused some confusion. I sometimes received automated messages that didn't align with the VIP arrangements. This was a slight hiccup, but it didn’t overshadow the great support from Miles and his team.
Overall, I'd give Roadway Moving five stars for their superior service and dedication to ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Miles and Marius's commitment to their roles truly made a difference, making my moving experience one of the best I've ever had.

We’ve moved with Roadway Moving three times, each time with babies or toddlers in tow, and we would never use another moving service again. They are exceptionally thorough, detailed, and organized. From the moment you contact them, the process is seamless and professional. Their operations team immediately walks you through every step, lets you know who will be calling or checking in, and follows up with clear instructions, forms, and dedicated points of contact.
Before moving day, they send helpful reminders and texts to confirm everything is on track. On the day of the move, you receive a live tracking link so you can see exactly where the movers are, an absolute lifesaver when planning around nap schedules and little ones. When the movers arrive, they walk through your home with you to review every room and make note of special instructions. They work incredibly fast - by the time we stepped out to head to our new destination, they were already loading the truck.
During our most recent interstate move, I accidentally left behind my purse and a few packages, and they thoughtfully packed everything up and kept me informed. They even FaceTimed me after they finished to do a final walkthrough and make sure nothing was left behind. At our new home, they were just as communicative and kind. I had a vision for where everything would go, but like many who downsize, I had to make quick pivots and they were incredibly patient, happy to move items between rooms until it felt just right.
No scratches on the walls, no stress, and they even took many of our empty boxes as we unpacked. They asked if we needed anything else before wrapping up. Roadway truly makes moving with kids feel manageable, even easy. We are so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. If you want a team that treats your move with care and precision, Roadway is it.

I was considering another company called Piece of Cake due to a significant $700 savings. However, the poor reviews and negative reputation, including an investigation by the Better Business Bureau, deterred me from risking it with them. Bob or Dave from Roadway provided critical information, including YouTube videos and reassurances of their quality service, convincing me to go with them.
The move itself was from New York to New Jersey, roughly an hour's drive. We thought we packed lightly, but it turned out there was more than anticipated. The Roadway team was professional, organized, and quick. They not only helped us efficiently pack more stuff into our boxes but managed the entire move from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., ensuring everything was unpacked promptly.
I had such a great experience that I already requested the same team for any future moves. The service they provided was beyond excellent. I've recommended them to my partners even though they were the priciest option. But if you value getting your belongings intact, they're worth every penny.
The entire experience was top-notch, rating 5 out of 5 across the board – from customer service to quality and price. They went above and beyond what's described on their website, even packing our large TV screens in crates —a crucial touch for delicate items. The website was easy to navigate, making the setup straightforward.
In short, their service left me exceptionally satisfied, and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Roadway Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and careful moving service.

We had used Roadway Moving before and decided to return to a known entity. This time around, we had a significant move across state lines. Unfortunately, setting up the move was a bit challenging. I felt like the sales representative didn't fully listen, resulting in unnecessary charges like fees for walk-ups that weren't accurate. Working with the sales rep was difficult, which was disappointing.
However, the actual moving crew was fantastic. They were extremely efficient, quick, and very pleasant despite having to work through a long day with traffic and at two different locations. Their kindness and flexibility were impressive, and we were really happy with their service. The crew handled both the packing and unpacking, ensuring a seamless process throughout the day.
If a friend or family asked my opinion, I'd honestly discuss the difficulty I faced with the sales representative, which might give me second thoughts about using them again. However, given how smoothly everything else went thanks to the move coordinator and the movers themselves, I would still recommend them.
Despite some initial hiccups, if I were to rate the overall experience, I would give it four stars because of the sales rep issue. Yet, under the four-star exterior, there's a five-star moving crew experience. When thinking about the actual customer service from the sales end, that would sadly be rated as one star. As for the price, I found it quite reasonable, worthy of another four stars.
My interaction with Roadway Moving had its ups and downs. It's worth mentioning that if it wasn't for the commendable moving team, my outlook might have been different. They turned an otherwise questionable experience into a worthwhile one.

Wonderful experience, I couldn't recommend enough. I didn't have to lift a finger and they even loaded and unloaded all the clothes in my closet for me. It's perfect if you have a busy work week / don't have the time to do all of the moving yourself. They box everything up, including kitchen, bathroom, room, EVERYTHING and get it to the new location in perfect condition.

I can’t recommend Roadway Moving enough. I first used them a little over a year ago when I moved and they were so amazing that I called them immediately when I knew I was moving again. This time, they helped me move from West Hollywood to Studio City, CA and everything went great again. The team is so efficient while still being extremely careful with all of my items, especially the TV’s or anything glass- they packed them extra well. They really worked so quickly but carefully at the same time. On top of the incredible service, everyone was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. They really made a day that could be so stressful (moving day), soooo stress free for me. Everything went so smoothly, nothing was damaged. I will continue to recommend them to any friends or family who are moving.
