This was my second time moving with them and both times have been incredible. Absolutely no complaints. They're so professional, helpful and straightforward with the entire process. Nothing came broken. I didn't have time to entirely pack my closet, and they helped with that. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Misplaced one of my boxes but hand delivered it to me a week later. This process was very easy and hassle-free. The staff was so kind and professional. When I moved out they have everything packed up in less than 2 hours. When dropping off my items and assembling furniture it took about the same time. This was so convenient.

I had such an amazing experience using Roadway for our cross-country move. We honestly received our items much quicker than anticipated-they gave us a two-week window, but everything arrived in less than a week. Our foreman, Steve from the New York branch, was incredibly welcoming and made sure all of my questions were answered. He and his partner were so kind and worked efficiently the entire time. The workers truly are the face of the company when they show up at your home. From customer service, to our items being lost or arriving without any damages is a win!

I had the best experience moving with Roadway yesterday! They sent such a considerate team who accommodated moving with a small puppy! Even when the puppy was scared of the loud noises they handled everything with care and grace. They were so incredibly careful and kind.

Wonderful experience, I couldn't recommend enough. I didn't have to lift a finger and they even loaded and unloaded all the clothes in my closet for me. It's perfect if you have a busy work week / don't have the time to do all of the moving yourself. They box everything up, including kitchen, bathroom, room, EVERYTHING and get it to the new location in perfect condition.

I can’t recommend Roadway Moving enough. I first used them a little over a year ago when I moved and they were so amazing that I called them immediately when I knew I was moving again. This time, they helped me move from West Hollywood to Studio City, CA and everything went great again. The team is so efficient while still being extremely careful with all of my items, especially the TV’s or anything glass- they packed them extra well. They really worked so quickly but carefully at the same time. On top of the incredible service, everyone was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. They really made a day that could be so stressful (moving day), soooo stress free for me. Everything went so smoothly, nothing was damaged. I will continue to recommend them to any friends or family who are moving.

6 person move team to move us from our loft to house. Quick and efficient! Nothing broken or damaged. Great experience overall. They packed everything and unloaded. Including assembling and disassembling furniture. They used a ton of paper to pad everything.

This was by far the easiest moving experience I’ve had. Everyone at Roadway was so nice, on time, organize, and efficient. Truly made the entire process stress free and easy. I have a lot of mirrors that I was worried about moving but Roadway packed them and used extra padding to move them with which I greatly appreciate!

I was relocating for a new job. The move was from a storage unit in Yonkers, New York down to New York City, Manhattan. Roadway's price was in line with the other quotes I got, and the customer service when getting the quote and setting up the move was really good. Very professional, thorough, and accurate. All the services that were mentioned were provided.
The movers were excellent and arrived on time. Very helpful and efficient, and good communicators. We'd definitely use them again in the future. In fact, I ended up moving out of the place that I moved into the next day, and I've called them back and set up the same move in reverse for the next day 'cause their services were so good.

Roadway took a potentially brutal move and made it seamless. The move was smooth and easy and the team was trustworthy. We will continue to use them. It's always tough bringing people into your home and having them go through your stuff but the Roadway team made things incredibly comfortable.

I chose Roadway because my realtor gave me a discount code. I worked with them twice and this was my third move with them.
The first two times I moved with Roadway was amazing, and, coincidentally, I had the same movers. However, the movers for the third move were not as amazing as the other two men were. They were disorganized and distracted with other calls. The packing up took a little longer than usual, probably four hours, and I have had the same amount of stuff almost every time.
The man in charge was distracted with a call about another move and was accused of doing something. He was focused on proving that he was not guilty. It was frustrating because he was taking so long to come and pack up my stuff, and I have a specific window in my new building. I only had three hours to use the service elevator, and I was worried I won’t get there in time because it will take at least an hour to get there. But everything was fine.
The moving coordinator set an accurate expectation for their services. I think his name is Momo and he’s been very nice and helpful in coordinating all my moves. I always say Roadway is great, helpful in the process, and fair in pricing. Everyone’s been very accommodating. If anything could have been improved, I would say the productivity of the team I had the last time.

Used Roadway Moving twice: once to pack up my belongings and move my stuff into storage while I was traveling, and a year later to move into my new apartment when I returned. Exceptional service both times. The movers handled all of my belongings with care in packing and unpacking, and provided me with a printed + digital copy of my inventory, which we referenced on my moving day. I was even able to access my belongings at the storage facility in between. Definitely recommend!

I moved from Chicago to Cleveland over the course of a couple of weeks. I chose Roadway because they were willing to work with me and their quote was very flexible, which I appreciate compared to other companies.
The coordinator was great and helped explain everything very clearly. I was able to talk through the partial pack of my more fragile items like the kitchen, which they ended up doing.
One of the two guys that did the pickup ended up doing the drop-off as well. Edgar was phenomenal. I was moving over the course of Thanksgiving and I was concerned that they were going to come when I was not able to receive the delivery. He was totally able to make sure it wouldn't be the case. When we needed some more time on the elevator, he was able to get it sorted out because he knew my building staff.
Once he found out that he was going to be the driver assigned to my drop-off, he stayed in good communication with me. He was in constant communication with me even from before the pickup, during the pickup, and then after the move. I never had a doubt. He took care of everything and made sure it was as stress-free as possible.
The team was great and extremely well-connected. Could not stress Edgar's helpfulness enough. They drove through a horrible snowstorm in Indiana to drop off my boxes, made sure everything was delivered, and put away as it needed to be. So it was a class act and I would highly recommend it.

I've moved a lot and have used movers before but I will definitely be a returning customer to Roadway Moving. I haven't had great experiences with apartments in Chicago or movers in general. They usually break my stuff or go missing during the move. Roadway was the best. They took such great care of my things and wrapped everything up cautiously. A trusted source referred Roadway to me, and this company was very communicative. I needed to move from New York City to New Jersey, and Cleaveland listened to our needs. He also came on site to assess the entire move that was required. When he came back with an initial quote, I found that it was a little high. But, he worked with us to narrow it down to what we needed, and we came to a good meeting point.
We had already moved to our new home, so when they were packing up everything, I went to check in. This company did not damage anything, and they were transparent. I have worked with other moving companies in the past and they have denied damaging things. Everybody was working so quickly and efficiently. Overall, they were very great to work with.

I used Roadway Moving the first time in New York City. The price was nice compared to others, and they got back to me right away. The team they sent out was efficient. They packed up everything fast and they were friendly. They didn’t damage anything. I have nothing but good things to say to them. So, I kept using them, and I’ve used them for years.
I move around a lot, and I have used them at least four times. The most recent time I used them was when I moved some stuff to my daughter for storage. The moving coordinator was friendly and kept me updated. He set the services and expectations accurately. He gave me a window, and they were early. The moving crew was friendly, efficient, and fast. It was a good experience. I definitely trust the company with my things, because I’ve had bad experiences with other companies in the past.

I told Roadway every piece of furniture I had in my house, and then I was given a day and timeframe. I met the team and showed them the best way in the apartment. Most of my smaller items were in boxes, and then they had to wrap up and box a couple of TVs and furniture items. They were in a good flow, and had good communication.
I was concerned I would have had to pay more on some last-minute charges because they have this shuttle term where if they're dropping the items off and they can't bring a bigger truck, you would have to pay for them to get a smaller shuttle. Those types of logistics should be handled by Roadway and not the consumer. The customer shouldn't have to pay for what they choose to use. But I didn't get hit with that.

My mom was moving to Florida. I found Roadway Moving on Google, and liked the reviews I saw. I've had horrible moves in the past, but Roadway was awesomely efficient. They scheduled the move, showed up on time, did the packing, and wrapped everything extra good. They were super fast with everything. They even got to Florida faster than we thought.
If I move again, I would use them. Because the last moving company I used before them, I would never use it again. I wish I had found Roadway Moving in May. They were a 5-star for everything. They were really that good. The quote was even right, which is amazing, and reasonably priced. They didn't jack me up at the end like some other company I used.

They were friendly, very quick and very efficient! Everything was packed carefully and nothing was damaged!! They had boxes to hang my clothes which was extremely convenient. They wrapped everything up too and then labeled the boxes! Highly recommend.

Moving is so stressful but working with roadway moving took a HUGE wait off our shoulders. The movers took a total of 2 days and they were able to hold our belongings overnight. It was so convenient because we were able to run some moving errands while they were moving our stuff up our 4 story walk up. Honest that was enough of a reason to hire them. This is now my second move with Roadway and I had to come back to write this because they continue to impress me. Not only are they great at their job and handling everything with care. They truly are so kind and willing to go above and beyond. My couch specifically was extremely tight on fitting out of my apartment doorway and they problem solved with no hesitation to make sure we were getting that couch out and into my new home. Anything I asked or inquired about they were happy to help and sort out a solution. All of my things were perfectly unloaded into my new home in perfect condition. OH, and they cleaned up all the trash and boxes as I unpacked which is such a huge bonus!

My moving experience was absolutely incredible. We moved from LA to NYC and didn't even have an apartment upon leaving LA. Roadway Moving was able to store our items for us and deliver them once we found our new apartment. The movers were so friendly and made what was a stressful experience SO seamless. They packaged everything extremely carefully including a travertine stone dresser, plates & dish ware, electronics, etc. Our items arrived in perfect condition and they had all of the necessary insurance for our new building. They unpacked and put our items back together. Overall, the experience couldn't have gone better, I will never move without them!

Moving is something I have always dreaded, and Roadway has completely changed that. I just finished my third local move with them, and I’m happier each time than I was the last. The first two times I packed myself and they had the entire move done within a couple hours. This last time, I opted for them to pack for me as well and it made the whole thing so unbelievably easy and stress free. We were moving because we wanted to be closer to family. It was a semi-local move and we needed help. I first saw Roadway Moving on social media and I decided to use them because they were less expensive than the local movers I had gotten quotes from. I got so many quotes. The rep from Roadway Moving did a video call with me and I went room by room and indicated the things that I wanted to move.
The movers arrived at my house on time, and they were helpful. They answered questions, wrapped things well and got things moved in and out quickly. There was one piece of furniture that they said was too big to go up my staircase, but then I had other people delivering furniture that were able to make it work. Other than that, the Roadway movers did everything they said they'd do. We had two locations that we took furniture to, my daughter's house and my new house. They were easy. It was the probably the easiest move I've ever done, and the quote I received was completely accurate. We might have gone over time a little, but it wound up being less expensive than I thought it would be.

I found Roadway Moving online and I liked them, so I chose them. They called me over the phone, asked me about my inventory and I told them. The quote was very accurate and in the morning of the move, they showed up at my house. I walked them to the apartment and they started packing everything, then they drove everything to the new place and brought them up. They were so fast and really strong, too. They were running up with these giant boxes and furniture up to the third floor and I don't know how they did that. I can barely carry a grocery bag to the second floor. I would recommend Roadway Moving to friends and family members.

SUCH a great experience using Roadway for my local move in downtown Chicago. I did a self-pack move, so I had a 5-piece couch + 25 plastic moving boxes. I also had some bits and pieces that I was going to walk over, but they ended up doing me a huge favor and diligently packed them up! They also provided wardrobe boxes, which are AWESOME. I've never experienced moving like this. We were completely done within 2.5 hours. Highly recommend Roadway for your move. If you're in Chicago, Marco and his team were incredible. 10/10!!

Roadway has agreed to cover some of the damages over the standard insurance of 60 cents lb which we are grateful for. It did take a lot of back and forth to get there however I appreciate them increasing the compensation given our unique truck accident and resulting damages.
Original Review: Nov. 21, 2025
TLDR Avoid Roadway Moving — our truck mysteriously “crashed,” they went silent for days, over 4k in damages as the semi was totaled in a solo car accident on a desert highway and then offered us FOUR HUNDRED dollars. 1. We paid a lot of money to have all of our items packaged and then shipped by roadway moving from LA to Reno. Standard delivery insurance. 2. We were given a delivery window 3. The truck did not arrive at the designated time. 4. We were informed by a phone call that the truck was in an accident somewhere been LA and Reno - given no details, policy reports, location of items. 5. Over the course of the next three days we had to hammer call and email roadway to obtain any answers about our things because they would not answer and also did not provide any factual or verifiable information when they did answer. This caused a lot of stress obviously.
6. Well out of our delivery window we are told the truck is in a tow yard and a new truck is being sent and the items will need to be transferred and then delivered. 7. We had already flow back to LA because we can’t just keep calling off work without actually knowing when our things will be delivered and we were given maybe a 12 hour notice. 8. A friend was kind enough to be present for the delivery. 9. Numerous things were damaged totaling over $4,000 with picture evidence. We were told don’t worry Roadway’s auto insurance will cover any damages and that we should assess it once we are unpacked. 10. We submit a claim through the proper channels
11. Roadway proceeds to under weigh items, incorrectly label items as packed by owner, remove items from the list for no valid reason despite damage. Our entire box of glassware/dishes was shattered for which I provided a photo of unwrapped wine glass. They denied coverage for more than one glass or bowl because I didn’t dig through a box filled with broken glass for each one. 13. This claim is processed through their auto insurance which makes coverage different from typical moving damages/claims. 14. Negligence has to be accounted for while totaling a semi on a straight desert highway. 15. Standard .60 coverage should not be the only coverage in such a large scale crash

I've used Roadway Moving twice now since moving to NYC, and I can honestly say the movers are always phenomenal! They helped me moved into my last apartment on the first floor and my current place, which is a walkup on the top floor. I partially packed some of my items and the movers did the rest and labeled where everything came from. During this move, I had a lot more furniture and fragile items compared to my previous move, so I was worried that some things might get damaged. But thankfully everything made it to my new place without damage, including a 100+ year old antique cabinet! Really grateful for the diligence and attention to detail the Roadway movers gave to my items, their professionalism and kindness made my move a lot less stressful. Roadway Moving goes above and beyond to make sure your move is perfect. I had a lot of things because I lived at my place for six years but the movers helped me throw away everything I didn't need and packed everything else for me! They are super respectful and ask before packing anything too. They carefully wrapped everything - and I mean everything - so everything came to my new place in one piece! They also provide you with boxes! And they work QUICKLY. They also disassemble and reassemble furniture for you so you don't have to worry about that in your new place. My friend was moving that same week so I recommended Roadway Movers and he loved his experience with them too!

I had such a great experience with my cross-country move. From the very start, I had a dedicated contact who promptly answered all my questions by email, text, or phone. I guess there is first time for everything, never wrote negative reviews but this time it was too much.
1. We were promised that move will not take more then 7-10 bus days but it took 30 days to receive it. From Chicago it was sent to New York and then to Florida.
2. About 20% of boxes were smashed and destroyed .5 large boxes were missing completely, that is how we found out that it was sent to New York in the first place. When I asked why it was sent there could not get any answer from the company.
3. After 2 month processing claim for many thousands of damage and lost belongings we were offered settlement for....$150!!!

I found Roadway on Facebook and read all the comments. They had the best price and other people were very satisfied with them. For my move, they wanted 10% when I booked it, 50% when they picked up the stuff, and whatever was left paid when they delivered it.
I had a three-bedroom, two-bath manufactured home and the move was from California to Texas which was fairly far. Before the move, I decluttered and downsized a lot of it. I showed their crew everything that was supposed to be packed up and whatever questions they had before they packed stuff up was answered.
Everybody was very nice as far as telling me how many boxes I could pack and about how much I could take. I showed their crew what we had, what we were taking, all the large items that needed to be packed and all other stuff that we were packing ourselves. Whatever questions they had before they packed stuff up was answered.
I made it within the 20-box limit of our personal stuff, kitchen and bathroom items, and all of my husband’s things. It was very seamless and they were very quick. When they came to deliver everything, they were super quick too and put all my furniture back together in exactly the spot I wanted. It was fabulous.
The move went better than I thought it was gonna be. I was really nervous about all of it but they made it really easy. It was quite an ordeal, but we got through it. I was super impressed and surprised with Roadway. If I ever have to move again, which I hope I don’t, I would definitely use them again.

Roadway outdoes themselves every time. I've moved three times in the last three years and would NEVER choose anyone except Roadway! This one meant even more because I moved from Miami to Austin and I was worried about the delivery time, items breaking etc. But they came in a shorter estimate than expected and everything was perfect! I’ve moved 5 times in the 10 years I’ve lived in Chicago and my experience with Roadway was by far the best experience I’ve had. The company was responsive and thorough with quotes, checklists, and preparation guidance. They were also quick to respond to my follow-up questions and concerns. Additionally, the movers were punctual (they arrived a few minutes before our scheduled time), efficient, and thorough. My move took 2.5 hours start to finish, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed. They handled my items with care, made sure to effectively pack fragile items, and made sure to touch base with me when they had questions or needed clarification on what to do with certain items or where to place them once in my bet place. This was a 10/ 10 experience for me and when I inevitably move again, it’ll for sure be with Roadway!

Had such a seamless and stress-free move with Roadway! They’re timely, kind, and communicate every detail. They packed up my belongings with such care and not a single item was damaged in transit. I’ve moved many times but never had movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Roadway blew me away! They made my move the easiest and most stress-free move to date. My move was a super last-minute decision, so I didn’t have much time to prepare, but Roadway stepped in and took the stress away. Everything was disassembled, wrapped, moved, and reassembled quickly and with great care! The movers also were great at asking me where I wanted things, and they reassembled and set up all my furniture exactly where I wanted it. They got what would’ve taken me days done in just a few hours. Literally! They moved my whole apartment in 3 hours. Blown away is an understatement. Plus, the communication throughout the entire process was seamless, with very responsive and helpful employees checking in and following up. I will never move without Roadway again!

This was the best and easiest moving experience I've had in New York City. The team was so quick and kind. They disassembled my bed, wrapped and unwrapped all my furniture, and packed my clothes in wardrobe boxes. (I would recommend getting these because you don't have to take your clothes off the hangers and the box keeps the clothes in perfect condition, its like a mini-rack in a box!) They saved me hours of packing and I'll definitely be booking with Roadway again, they're incredible! :)

Everyone I worked with at Roadway, the movers and everyone coordinating, was nice and very flexible with what I needed. What I appreciated with Roadway is that I also needed the storage. So, that helped. I chose to pack up most of my boxes, so they just packed up furniture and whatnot that I didn't pack up myself and then took it all. Everything is still in storage. I'm doing long-term. I’ve already recommended Roadway to a few people.

This is our third time moving with Roadway and we're always so happy with them. The moving teams are always extremely careful with our things but so efficient. I've used several moving companies in my life and I've never seen movers take so many precautions with furniture - completely wrapping our couch, taking legs off of tables when possible, taking floor lamps apart for transport, etc. When we arrived to our new apartment, they put all the furniture exactly where we wanted it and made sure all of the boxes were placed in the correct rooms, which has made unpacking so much easier. Cannot recommend them enough!

This is my second move with Roadway. And yes? I’ve tried other companies before and it was STRESSFUL! Extra charges for random things, movers complaining about heavy items, and boxes just dumped in the middle of the room. Roadway was the total opposite. They showed up on time, shook my hand, and were positive from start to finish. No hidden fees, no attitude, just people who genuinely wanted to help.
They took care of items I didn’t even know how to pack, and instead of leaving everything in a pile, they put things where they actually belonged. It made settling in so much easier. What stood out the most was how much the crew respected their company and their CEO. One of the guys told me how he started Roadway from nothing, still jumps in to help on moves, and takes care of his employees. You can feel that in the way they work. I’ll never go back to another company. Roadway made moving actually feel easy, which I never thought I’d say. Highly recommend.

This is my second time using Roadway! They are my favorite moving company. I feel that they are reasonably priced & exceed my expectations every time. It’s worth every penny. They completely take away the stress of moving. I usually get the full pack option so I don’t have to lift a finger. They protect all items & doors/walls to prevent any damage from happening. They’re also super fast! It took them less than 3 hours to move my entire apartment. I can’t imagine using any other moving company and I couldn’t recommend Roadway more. :)

Roadway moving is excellent! second time using this service, the first was 4 years ago when I was moving from NYC to Chicago for medical school, and 4 yrs later I used them to help me move from Chicago back home to LA. didn't have any issues and they got my items to me within a week. Roadway Moving exceeded my expectations. I went around the house and told the rep everything I had that needed to move, and he calculated it. I had my dad at the apartment. He did everything there and it went smoothly. Once the movers got to California, it was easy peasy. They were quick and professional. I needed to upgrade to where they transfer it to a smaller truck. That was an extra 300. But overall, the quote was spot on.

I heard about Roadway Moving from a very good friend of ours. Setting up the move was straightforward. It was very easy going through the virtual meeting with the representative. Also, the quote was accurate. When I finalized what we had the day that we were moving, I was able to contact our representative. He was able to update our price because there were items that we had intended to take but we decided not to. Because we had everything isolated into two different areas where it was first floor and the basement instead of stuff on the 2nd floor of the house, it minimized our cost. It was very easy to deal with them.
Besides the system glitch that they encountered where they cannot connect to their server it was delayed in them being able to put the stickers on the items and loading them into their truck. Their server was down so they couldn't access their database system in order to set up our items in their manifest. Other than that, all interactions were positive, and they were very productive. When they got there to load and prepare everything, they did what they had to, brought everything back to the warehouse in New York, and did it the way they were supposed to.
From the day they picked everything up on July 7th, we had our belongings within 2.5 weeks. The only minor thing that they had was when we contracted with Roadway, they expected that everything would leave on Friday the 11th, which is what we intended, and it would take two weeks to get there. We didn't know that the items would leave a couple of days after the 11th. But the items got there quicker than we expected, so we're happy with the timeframe that it took.

We had a great experience with Roadway Moving. I worked with Miles and Marius, and they were both wonderful. The main thing was the hands-on communication with Miles. We had a three-day move, and even between the days, I could check in with him, and ask him questions about additional needs or logistics, so he was great. He even went to our new apartment to preview what the freight elevator and the loading situation was gonna be like just to be sure that the team was gonna be able to do everything okay, and that was really reassuring and wonderful. Marius managed the move well, and they got things done earlier and faster than expected. We ended up paying $20,000 for the move, and I thought $15,000 was more appropriate. But we did get what felt like white glove service, so we were willing to pay for the experience that we had.

I moved long distance before from Northern California to Southern California and I wanted a reputable long distance move without spending a fortune. So I decided to go with Roadway, because they had excellent customer service and good prices and they’re not trying to rob you and your things will arrive safely.
The representative that I spoke with was very clear on how they got the price. She explained that it’s based on weight, not distance. I didn’t have much to move since I planned to get rid of a lot of things from the apartment. I was hoping that I could keep it under $6,000. We talked about it a couple of times and I gave her a general inventory of what I had and she gave me $4,000 that I will have in installments, between the beginning and the end. I was happy with that and decided to go with it.
Moving day was great. The two gentlemen arrived early, they called and let me know that they were on the way. The move was quicker than I expected, and I thought they’d be here all day because of the distance from the loading dock and our apartment. They finished in about five or six hours. They were very efficient and kind and packed everything up very well. I had no problems at all.

I chose them because I had gotten a slight discount through my workplace. It was generally positive, straightforward, and easy to update when I realized I had a different number of items than I initially listed.
When I made the first list, I was not fully packed up. As I was packing up and getting the specs of my new apartment, I realized there were some things I was giving away. So, I kicked those off the list. Then I had to add a couple more boxes because I was running out of space.
I didn’t interact with the movers for very long because I was at my new place. So, I was just there during the drop-off. But they seemed to be very efficient and helpful. Roadway got all of my things to the new place safely and efficiently. Overall, they’re pretty trustworthy.

If I could give 10/10 stars I would! Starting with the packing up everything and getting it into the truck--the movers were absolutely amazing! The two movers were so gentle with our things, very very detailed, and moved so quickly. I was really impressed with the system Roadway uses as well because every one of our items was marked with a QR code that coordinated with me and the location of our move. It was literally perfect. We did a big move so we were given the estimation that our things would arrive around July 16th at the latest and it showed up on July 15th to drop everything off.
This time we had 3 movers--1 was watching the truck and helping unload up our stairs, 1 was bringing items upstairs, and 1 was unpacking everything. Again, such a great experience. Everyone was communicative and gentle with our things. They even cleaned up all the paper and the big boxes that things came in. They were polite and very efficient. Again, Roadway was amazing and I will definitely be using them again for ANY move!

Moving process is always so stressful, but the Roadway team was so professional and calming right off the bat. They were extremely fast and efficient, and I was genuinely in awe! Roadway Moving’s advertising is quite prominent in New York, and I often see their trucks around. Booking my move with Roadway's customer service went smoothly and satisfactorily.
The movers themselves were genuinely nice and did an overall excellent job. However, there is a minor point to mention about their pace; they were a bit too quick in handling some items. For example, they mistakenly took an inflatable bed that I needed for the first night at my new home. I also noticed that a couple of items I was intending to dispose of were packed onto the truck by accident. Nonetheless, these issues were minor, and I generally appreciated how detail-oriented and coordinated Roadway was. They confirmed the number of boxes before the move, ensuring transparency with the pricing, without any last-minute surprises.
Ultimately, my experience was positive, and I would recommend Roadway Moving to others, clearly a 4 to 5-star service in my view. Their approach and attitude made the moving process more manageable, and everything worked out well in the end.

I used Roadway Moving twice in a span of two weeks. We moved the apartment to our storage, and then storage to the new apartment. And I was quite happy with them. I would use them again. They were very courteous and transparent on the pricing. They worked with me to try and lower the price by suggesting a different day or time. The reps were accessible and responsive. I was considering another company called Piece of Cake, recommended by my roommate. Unfortunately, they were fully booked, so I turned to Google and found Roadway Moving, which had top-notch reviews. My key priority was a stress-free move, and that’s exactly what they delivered.

Overall, the service of Roadway Moving was great. I had two different groups of movers: the first group had personalities that I liked more than the second group, though both were efficient. However, the second team seemed to be more attentive and quicker during the move.
While they handled most of my belongings with care, there were a couple of items that ended up broken, which I think is just part of moving sometimes. Despite this, they did a fantastic job overall. I’d give them a 4 out of 5. I would recommend them to others.

We’ve moved with Roadway Moving three times, each time with babies or toddlers in tow, and we would never use another moving service again. They are exceptionally thorough, detailed, and organized. From the moment you contact them, the process is seamless and professional. Their operations team immediately walks you through every step, lets you know who will be calling or checking in, and follows up with clear instructions, forms, and dedicated points of contact.
Before moving day, they send helpful reminders and texts to confirm everything is on track. On the day of the move, you receive a live tracking link so you can see exactly where the movers are, an absolute lifesaver when planning around nap schedules and little ones. When the movers arrive, they walk through your home with you to review every room and make note of special instructions. They work incredibly fast - by the time we stepped out to head to our new destination, they were already loading the truck.
During our most recent interstate move, I accidentally left behind my purse and a few packages, and they thoughtfully packed everything up and kept me informed. They even FaceTimed me after they finished to do a final walkthrough and make sure nothing was left behind. At our new home, they were just as communicative and kind. I had a vision for where everything would go, but like many who downsize, I had to make quick pivots and they were incredibly patient, happy to move items between rooms until it felt just right.

I was genuinely blown away by how smoothly Roadway handled our complicated double move. We had two apartments’ worth of stuff to move out of 3rd and 2nd floor walk-ups, and their team couldn’t have been more friendly, fast, or professional. This was the most seamless move I’ve ever had. The roadway team arrived on time, packed everything and had me moved into my new apartment in NYC in under 4 hours. They take the stress out of moving- It’s truly the best company! Use them 10 times out of 10!

This was our second move in under a year and Roadway made BOTH moves so seamless and stress-free, I cannot thank them enough! They helped us partially pack this time around and wrapped not only fragile items, but carefully wrapped plastic spatulas and spoons - the care & attention to detail is incredible. We're hoping to stay in this house for longer but we will definitely be calling them for the third time in the future! Thank you Roadway, we love you guys! Can't recommend enough xx.

Roadway helped me move everything seamlessly! It was absolutely amazing. They packed everything in boxes and then moved everything into the new apartment and helped me set up everything in the right places! Everything was moved very carefully. They also packed the silverware very well to make sure none of the dishes were broken.

I selected the pack and move service. We have a toddler and another baby on the way so ultimate convenience was key. Roadway packed us up the day before in 3 hrs and the move took about 6 hrs the next day. Efficient and effective. Highly recommended. The intake is very important. It allows them to oboe how many people up send for the move.

We had the best experience with Roadway Movers! Their team showed up right on time, handled everything with incredible care, and somehow made moving an entire office including embroidery machines and fragile equipment feel seamless and stress-free. Even in the middle of a NYC heatwave, they were upbeat, efficient, and so fun to work with. Every single item arrived safely and was placed exactly where we needed it. Truly can’t recommend them enough. If you're moving in the city, Roadway is the way to go!

I have moved with Roadway twice, and I chose them the second time because they were great the first time. A lot of moving companies tell you a price, and then tell you it costs more after they move you. Roadway did not do that the first time. They told me a quote and they stuck to it. The crew packed for me, and then they moved me two blocks away. I have recommended them to a friend already.
