This was my second time moving with Roadway Moving and had a great experience with my mid-distance move. Roadway Movers are very detail oriented and speedy so the move was very seamless. They helped pack all of my furniture in less than 2 hours including my fragile pieces and delivered it safely in the same day.

Roadway has been great. I like it a lot. I found them somewhere on the internet while I was looking for movers and they had good reviews. The customer experience was good and the estimate was reasonable. They came out and helped me pack. The two crews that did the packing and delivery were both good.

I just emailed Roadway, someone reached out, and he was my main contact for the rest of the move. He was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Then a crew came out, packed everything and they did well.

I found Roadway on Facebook and read all the comments. They had the best price and other people were very satisfied with them. For my move, they wanted 10% when I booked it, 50% when they picked up the stuff, and whatever was left paid when they delivered it.
I had a three-bedroom, two-bath manufactured home and the move was from California to Texas which was fairly far. Before the move, I decluttered and downsized a lot of it. I showed their crew everything that was supposed to be packed up and whatever questions they had before they packed stuff up was answered.
Everybody was very nice as far as telling me how many boxes I could pack and about how much I could take. I showed their crew what we had, what we were taking, all the large items that needed to be packed and all other stuff that we were packing ourselves. Whatever questions they had before they packed stuff up was answered.
I made it within the 20-box limit of our personal stuff, kitchen and bathroom items, and all of my husband’s things. It was very seamless and they were very quick. When they came to deliver everything, they were super quick too and put all my furniture back together in exactly the spot I wanted. It was fabulous.
The move went better than I thought it was gonna be. I was really nervous about all of it but they made it really easy. It was quite an ordeal, but we got through it. I was super impressed and surprised with Roadway. If I ever have to move again, which I hope I don’t, I would definitely use them again.

Roadway outdoes themselves every time. I've moved three times in the last three years and would NEVER choose anyone except Roadway! This one meant even more because I moved from Miami to Austin and I was worried about the delivery time, items breaking etc. But they came in a shorter estimate than expected and everything was perfect! Their service is amazing, and I never have to worry about anything with them. I always recommend to friends and family!

I’ve moved 5 times in the 10 years I’ve lived in Chicago and my experience with Roadway was by far the best experience I’ve had. The company was responsive and thorough with quotes, checklists, and preparation guidance. They were also quick to respond to my follow-up questions and concerns. Additionally, the movers were punctual (they arrived a few minutes before our scheduled time), efficient, and thorough. My move took 2.5 hours start to finish, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed. They handled my items with care, made sure to effectively pack fragile items, and made sure to touch base with me when they had questions or needed clarification on what to do with certain items or where to place them once in my bet place. This was a 10/ 10 experience for me and when I inevitably move again, it’ll for sure be with Roadway!

This isn't my first move with Roadway, and it won't be my last. I hate moving so much because I hate change, hate packing, hate boxes. But Roadway makes everything feel relaxed, fun, and organized. They consistently go above and beyond (even packing our things for us when they saw how stressed and busy we were) and treat our prized and delicate possessions with so much care and love - as if they were our own family members helping us. It was very streamlined, and they kept me updated throughout the process. They did a great job and I would recommend them to other people.

This is my second time using Roadway. They moved me cross country last time. This time around the corner. Both times they were fabulous. They are professional, expeditious, careful and friendly. They are also very thorough in the days before the move making sure everything is taken care of before the big day! They wrapped all of my valuables on the day, and got them safely to my new apartment. They helped me unpack boxes and get my bedroom and office squared away before they left.

I’ve moved many times but never had movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Roadway blew me away! They made my move the easiest and most stress-free move to date. My move was a super last-minute decision, so I didn’t have much time to prepare, but Roadway stepped in and took the stress away. Everything was disassembled, wrapped, moved, and reassembled quickly and with great care! The movers also were great at asking me where I wanted things, and they reassembled and set up all my furniture exactly where I wanted it. They got what would’ve taken me days done in just a few hours. Literally! They moved my whole apartment in 3 hours. Blown away is an understatement. Plus, the communication throughout the entire process was seamless, with very responsive and helpful employees checking in and following up. I will never move without Roadway again!

This was the best and easiest moving experience I've had in New York City. The team was so quick and kind. They disassembled my bed, wrapped and unwrapped all my furniture, and packed my clothes in wardrobe boxes. (I would recommend getting these because you don't have to take your clothes off the hangers and the box keeps the clothes in perfect condition, its like a mini-rack in a box!) They saved me hours of packing and I'll definitely be booking with Roadway again, they're incredible! :)

Everything is labeled, wrapped with care and expertise, and no job or distance is too much for their skilled movers (who are also incredibly kind, professional, and a joy to work with). If you're looking for movers, Roadway is the best!! This was without a doubt the best moving experience I've ever had - moving is usually an incredibly stressful experience and Roadway made the whole move from start to finish feel effortless. The team was professional, friendly, and efficient. They took such good care of every box, wrapped and unwrapped every piece of furniture with care, and truly went above and beyond - and they even went the extra mile to hang up the clothes that I packed on hangers in my closet! Everyone I worked with at Roadway, the movers and everyone coordinating, was nice and very flexible with what I needed. What I appreciated with Roadway is that I also needed the storage. So, that helped. I chose to pack up most of my boxes, so they just packed up furniture and whatnot that I didn't pack up myself and then took it all. Everything is still in storage. This is our third time moving with Roadway and we're always so happy with them. The moving teams are always extremely careful with our things but so efficient. I've used several moving companies in my life and I've never seen movers take so many precautions with furniture - completely wrapping our couch, taking legs off of tables when possible, taking floor lamps apart for transport, etc. When we arrived to our new apartment, they put all the furniture exactly where we wanted it and made sure all of the boxes were placed in the correct rooms, which has made unpacking so much easier. Cannot recommend them enough!

This is my second move with Roadway. And yes? I’ve tried other companies before and it was STRESSFUL! Extra charges for random things, movers complaining about heavy items, and boxes just dumped in the middle of the room. Roadway was the total opposite. They showed up on time, shook my hand, and were positive from start to finish. No hidden fees, no attitude, just people who genuinely wanted to help.
They took care of items I didn’t even know how to pack, and instead of leaving everything in a pile, they put things where they actually belonged. It made settling in so much easier. What stood out the most was how much the crew respected their company and their CEO. One of the guys told me how he started Roadway from nothing, still jumps in to help on moves, and takes care of his employees. You can feel that in the way they work. Roadway Moving exceeded my expectations. I went around the house and told the rep everything I had that needed to move, and he calculated it. I had my dad at the apartment. He did everything there and it went smoothly. Once the movers got to California, it was easy peasy. They were quick and professional. I needed to upgrade to where they transfer it to a smaller truck. That was an extra 300. But overall, the quote was spot on.

I heard about Roadway Moving from a very good friend of ours. Setting up the move was straightforward. It was very easy going through the virtual meeting with the representative. Also, the quote was accurate. When I finalized what we had the day that we were moving, I was able to contact our representative. He was able to update our price because there were items that we had intended to take but we decided not to. Because we had everything isolated into two different areas where it was first floor and the basement instead of stuff on the 2nd floor of the house, it minimized our cost. It was very easy to deal with them.
Besides the system glitch that they encountered where they cannot connect to their server it was delayed in them being able to put the stickers on the items and loading them into their truck. Their server was down so they couldn't access their database system in order to set up our items in their manifest. Other than that, all interactions were positive, and they were very productive. When they got there to load and prepare everything, they did what they had to, brought everything back to the warehouse in New York, and did it the way they were supposed to.
From the day they picked everything up on July 7th, we had our belongings within 2.5 weeks. The only minor thing that they had was when we contracted with Roadway, they expected that everything would leave on Friday the 11th, which is what we intended, and it would take two weeks to get there. We didn't know that the items would leave a couple of days after the 11th. But the items got there quicker than we expected, so we're happy with the timeframe that it took.

We had a great experience with Roadway Moving. I worked with Miles and Marius, and they were both wonderful. The main thing was the hands-on communication with Miles. We had a three-day move, and even between the days, I could check in with him, and ask him questions about additional needs or logistics, so he was great. He even went to our new apartment to preview what the freight elevator and the loading situation was gonna be like just to be sure that the team was gonna be able to do everything okay, and that was really reassuring and wonderful. Marius managed the move well, and they got things done earlier and faster than expected. We ended up paying $20,000 for the move, and I thought $15,000 was more appropriate. But we did get what felt like white glove service, so we were willing to pay for the experience that we had.

I don't want to work with any other moving company ever again! I truly can’t say enough good things about Roadway Moving. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful move completely seamless. I used their packing service and on-demand storage, and everything was handled with so much care. My belongings were stored for a month and came back in perfect condition - not a single thing out of place.

The experience with the Roadway moving crew was great. Everybody was there. It was a hard job and nobody complained. They just worked really hard, got through everything, and were super helpful. I moved long distance before from Northern California to Southern California and I wanted a reputable long distance move without spending a fortune. So I decided to go with Roadway, because they had excellent customer service and good prices and they’re not trying to rob you and your things will arrive safely.
The representative that I spoke with was very clear on how they got the price. She explained that it’s based on weight, not distance. I didn’t have much to move since I planned to get rid of a lot of things from the apartment. I was hoping that I could keep it under $6,000. We talked about it a couple of times and I gave her a general inventory of what I had and she gave me $4,000 that I will have in installments, between the beginning and the end. I was happy with that and decided to go with it.
Moving day was great. The two gentlemen arrived early, they called and let me know that they were on the way. The move was quicker than I expected, and I thought they’d be here all day because of the distance from the loading dock and our apartment. They finished in about five or six hours. They were very efficient and kind and packed everything up very well. I had no problems at all.

We used Roadway for a local move in New Jersey recently and could not have been happier with how everything went! I chose them because I had gotten a slight discount through my workplace. It was generally positive, straightforward, and easy to update when I realized I had a different number of items than I initially listed.
When I made the first list, I was not fully packed up. As I was packing up and getting the specs of my new apartment, I realized there were some things I was giving away. So, I kicked those off the list. Then I had to add a couple more boxes because I was running out of space.
I didn’t interact with the movers for very long because I was at my new place. So, I was just there during the drop-off. But they seemed to be very efficient and helpful. Roadway got all of my things to the new place safely and efficiently. Overall, they’re pretty trustworthy.

If I could give 10/10 stars I would! Starting with the packing up everything and getting it into the truck--the movers were absolutely amazing! The two movers were so gentle with our things, very very detailed, and moved so quickly. I was really impressed with the system Roadway uses as well because every one of our items was marked with a QR code that coordinated with me and the location of our move. It was literally perfect. We did a big move so we were given the estimation that our things would arrive around July 16th at the latest and it showed up on July 15th to drop everything off.
This time we had 3 movers--1 was watching the truck and helping unload up our stairs, 1 was bringing items upstairs, and 1 was unpacking everything. Again, such a great experience. Everyone was communicative and gentle with our things. They even cleaned up all the paper and the big boxes that things came in. They were polite and very efficient. Again, Roadway was amazing and I will definitely be using them again for ANY move!

Moving process is always so stressful, but the Roadway team was so professional and calming right off the bat. They were extremely fast and efficient, and I was genuinely in awe! Everything was wrapped with care, especially my wine fridge which I was the most anxious about. We had a stop on the way to pick up my partner's stuff, and although it was a long day, the team stayed so on top of everything. We were so grateful the move was the least stressful it ever had been in my decade of living in New York City.

Roadway Moving’s advertising is quite prominent in New York, and I often see their trucks around. Booking my move with Roadway's customer service went smoothly and satisfactorily.
The movers themselves were genuinely nice and did an overall excellent job. However, there is a minor point to mention about their pace; they were a bit too quick in handling some items. For example, they mistakenly took an inflatable bed that I needed for the first night at my new home. I also noticed that a couple of items I was intending to dispose of were packed onto the truck by accident. Nonetheless, these issues were minor, and I generally appreciated how detail-oriented and coordinated Roadway was. They confirmed the number of boxes before the move, ensuring transparency with the pricing, without any last-minute surprises.
Ultimately, my experience was positive, and I would recommend Roadway Moving to others, clearly a 4 to 5-star service in my view. Their approach and attitude made the moving process more manageable, and everything worked out well in the end.

I used Roadway Moving twice in a span of two weeks. We moved the apartment to our storage, and then storage to the new apartment. And I was quite happy with them. I would use them again. They were very courteous and transparent on the pricing. They worked with me to try and lower the price by suggesting a different day or time. The reps were accessible and responsive. I’ve had, overall, a very good experience with them. The movers were great and easy to deal with. It was all very positive.

I was considering another company called Piece of Cake, recommended by my roommate. Unfortunately, they were fully booked, so I turned to Google and found Roadway Moving, which had top-notch reviews. My key priority was a stress-free move, and that’s exactly what they delivered.
Despite the inherent stress of moving, especially since I handled it alone, Roadway Moving made everything as seamless as possible. The movers were incredibly helpful, and I truly didn't have to worry about anything. They treated my belongings with care, leaving my furniture perfectly arranged and in excellent condition.

Overall, the service of Roadway Moving was great. I had two different groups of movers: the first group had personalities that I liked more than the second group, though both were efficient. However, the second team seemed to be more attentive and quicker during the move.
While they handled most of my belongings with care, there were a couple of items that ended up broken, which I think is just part of moving sometimes. Despite this, they did a fantastic job overall. I’d give them a 4 out of 5. I would recommend them to others.

We’ve moved with Roadway Moving three times, each time with babies or toddlers in tow, and we would never use another moving service again. They are exceptionally thorough, detailed, and organized. From the moment you contact them, the process is seamless and professional. Their operations team immediately walks you through every step, lets you know who will be calling or checking in, and follows up with clear instructions, forms, and dedicated points of contact.
Before moving day, they send helpful reminders and texts to confirm everything is on track. On the day of the move, you receive a live tracking link so you can see exactly where the movers are, an absolute lifesaver when planning around nap schedules and little ones. When the movers arrive, they walk through your home with you to review every room and make note of special instructions. They work incredibly fast - by the time we stepped out to head to our new destination, they were already loading the truck.
During our most recent interstate move, I accidentally left behind my purse and a few packages, and they thoughtfully packed everything up and kept me informed. They even FaceTimed me after they finished to do a final walkthrough and make sure nothing was left behind. At our new home, they were just as communicative and kind. I had a vision for where everything would go, but like many who downsize, I had to make quick pivots and they were incredibly patient, happy to move items between rooms until it felt just right.
No scratches on the walls, no stress, and they even took many of our empty boxes as we unpacked. They asked if we needed anything else before wrapping up. I was genuinely blown away by how smoothly Roadway handled our complicated double move. I selected the pack and move service. We have a toddler and another baby on the way so ultimate convenience was key. Roadway packed us up the day before in 3 hrs and the move took about 6 hrs the next day. Efficient and effective. Highly recommended. The intake is very important. It allows them to oboe how many people up send for the move.

A lot of moving companies tell you a price, and then tell you it costs more after they move you. Roadway did not do that the first time. They told me a quote and they stuck to it. The customer service was excellent. They were very helpful. I had to change the date of my move just by a day, and they were very accommodating.
Roadway was efficient. I didn’t have a lot of belongings, but from the time they arrived at the place I was moving out of to the time they reached where I was going, everything was very speedy and efficient, which I appreciated. It allowed me to start unpacking quickly.

Roadway Moving has good ratings. And then, besides that, they were new in Chicago. So, I knew that the trucks were gonna be fairly brand new and very clean with my things. The guys are very sharp. They're fast. They did everything nicely and perfectly. They didn't damage anything.
As I've unpacked, all of my goods are in the shape just as they were when I packed them up in the box. So, I have no complaints. The customer service was nice and clear. I did everything verbally over the phone.
Well, I'll just say the company is awesome. And keep up the good work is the only thing I can say. I recommend them to other people for sure. But I feel as if they need to adjust the price. They need to fix that because I paid $750 and those guys got done in an hour and 40 minutes.

Roadway came with a great recommendation. I was listening to Mosley News and he was raving about it. He had made a move and he was saying to use his name to get a 10% discount. I thought I might as well try and see what they offer. I checked around other places and Roadway was the cheapest. Overall, my experience with them has been absolutely perfect. I had to keep changing my delivery date but everybody was wonderful.

I was doing a cross-country move, and didn’t wanna risk it. So, that’s why I chose Roadway Moving. Because their reviews looked incredible. And they did live up to what I read.
My experience setting up the transport was smooth. I had some complications on my side. And I was gonna be in Seoul, South Korea for the time of delivery. And they worked with me to make sure that I felt comfortable in giving power of attorney over to a friend and explained everything. They were helpful when the original person I had organized to accept the delivery backed out a few days before. So, I had to change things. And they were patient and made sure I had all the information I needed to proceed and make sure that everything would happen smoothly.
And the pick-up was great. It was a long, hot day, but the guys got it done. They even brought in a fourth member halfway through the day to make sure that it would get done on time. I got them lunch and tipped them all nicely. But they were all courteous. And I felt safe having them all in my space.
Luckily, I didn’t have a huge budgetary restriction. My company paid for this. So, I can understand that it may not be within everybody’s price range. But it lived up to our expectations, and we got the bang for the buck. They may charge a little bit more, but everything was handled with care, and I didn’t have any broken items. And the customer service was incredible.

I have seen Roadway Moving a lot on social media and they're a pretty popular moving company in the area that I live in. We were moving 'cause we wanted to live in a nicer space. Our new place is a mile and a half from our old one. Roadway were really good and thorough. They also made themselves available at all times, which was really helpful. It was definitely pricey, but they were really helpful, so that was not too bad.
I felt like the movers really listened and wanted to help us as much as they could, even doing things like seeing the trash bag and being like, "Oh, we can take it down for you." Just really helpful and helping us clear out the space, which I really appreciated. I think they went above and beyond what they were asked to do. Definitely very efficient.

I think they're an incredibly professional group. Even when we did hit a slight snag, which I don't even recall what it was, it was remedied ASAP and to my satisfaction. The coordinator quoted me a price based on the information I supplied, as far as what I was moving and how many cubic feet that would take, and we moved on from there. It was pretty straightforward.

I found Roadway Moving online. I was doing my research and I had Piece of Cake and another moving company. I was leaning towards Piece of Cake but the reviews weren't that great. It was $700 savings but I didn't want to take a risk. I also wanted our things to get there in one piece. I spoke at someone over at Roadway, and he sent me YouTube videos. He also let me know that Piece of Cake was under investigation.
I set the move online, then they called me and we did everything over the phone. The move was from New York to New Jersey, about an hour's drive. We packed most of our things, but the gentlemen were very helpful and intuitive in trying to help us get more stuff into our boxes. They were professional, organized, and quick. We started at 9 o'clock in the morning, and by 4 o'clock, they unpacked everything in our New Jersey home. They went above and beyond, too. They put my 75-inch and 65-inch screen TVs in crates, not those flimsy boxes where they can crack.
We're using Roadway Moving again. If we ever move again, I said I want the same crew coming to our home to pick up our stuff. Everything I asked them to do, they did. It was excellent service and they are off the charts. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. Matter of fact, I did to two of my other partners who were looking to move recently. You might pay a little bit more out of pocket 'cause they were the most expensive out of everybody, but if you cherish the things that you have in your home and you wanna get there in one piece, go with these guys.

I’m so excited that Roadway Moving is finally open in Chicago! I’ve always seen people using Roadway and now I completely understand why! It was hands down the easiest and most seamless move I’ve ever had. Julien, Edgar, and Miguel were absolutely amazing. They were kind, efficient, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. Moving can be so stressful, but thanks to them, our move day felt calm and completely under control. We honestly miss them already! They handled all of our belongings with such care, I even let them take my VERY sensitive plants with them in the truck! We live downtown in a high rise, and they were excellent and efficient with the 2-hour freight elevator time block that we were given at both our new and old apartments. I highly recommend Roadway to anyone looking for a smooth, professional moving experience.

I booked Roadway for a relocation 3000 miles out of state. We did a video call and walked through what we were gonna be taking and then they gave us an estimate. They stuck to the estimate, which was awesome.
We told them we were gonna be moving stuff into storage first before we moved into the house and they made sure to wrap everything extra well for us. They spent all day making sure that our stuff was taken care of.
The drivers were fantastic and they really took care of us. They texted me when they were about to arrive. Then they called me when they were gonna be en route and when they were gonna arrive. They called after everything was done and made sure that we were happy.
The whole process took a week and a half. They had some other moves, but it was more of a scheduling on our part. They probably could have moved stuff around, but that’s what worked for us. We will definitely be using the same company in the future.

Roadway Moving made my cross-country move so easy! They were efficient, communicative, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I had to set up a second move last-minute, and they accommodated me immediately—furniture was picked up the very next day. We've used Roadway in the past and this time we moved one state across. The moving crew was fantastic. Considering that they had a long day, a lot of traffic and two locations to move from, they were extremely kind and flexible. We were very happy with them. I'm not sure that the sales rep fully listened to me, though, because we ended up with a lot of charges for things that we didn't need, like a walk-up. So I found that the sales representative was quite difficult to work with. But if it were just up to the move coordinator and the moving men, I would absolutely recommend it.

EVERYTHING BETWEEN 9-5! The team of movers were so efficient & truly took the best care of everything! I had heavy furniture, glass furniture, mirrors, TVs you name it & everything arrived perfectly! The moving coordinator was great. He was on top of it. He checked in frequently to make sure that everything was going well and kept me updated on the timelines. He was in communication with me throughout the entire process. The movers were quick and very careful with my items. The only thing they didn't do was lay down floor protection mats, but it wasn't a big deal.

This company harasses you endlessly with text and phone calls. I was soliciting quotes December 2024, and once I found a company - I let the others know I no longer needed their services. This company has offshore callers or non English as a first language, using American sounding names like Nick **, and they call relentlessly, text multiple times per day, even after telling them you do not need their services. Pure harassment - do NOT engage with them.
