Worked with Brian ** who did an outstanding job of coordinating my parents’ move to NJ. He gave us a fair estimate, based upon my reviews of other moving companies. The crew sent to pack and move my parents were very efficient and helpful. As was the crew that delivered the cartons to their new apartment. My overall assessment was one of excellence.

We first worked with Bob ** to set us up with our move from Ohio to Washington. He was great, delightful, and professional. Natalie was our coordinator and she did a great job keeping us informed. Our movers were Lawrence and Lee and they were a good team and made our adventure less worrisome. Everything worked out great. Everyone worked hard to make this a smooth move.

Jerome ** and his crew were, without a doubt, the absolute best I have EVER worked with. They were superb in the loading. The unloading was unbelievable. The quality, caring, professionalism and respect were GREAT. By the end of the day, I felt like I was friends with all of them. I have recently had severe neck surgery and the gentlemen would bring the box to me (sitting on the sofa) on where it should go. Upstairs, shop or main floor? I never had to get up and go to them. This may sound insignificant to you, but when suffering terrible pain, it was the best thing in the world for me. My husband was not here yet from Colorado, so it was just me home. I cannot say enough good about this team, especially Jerome! If there was a 10 star rating, I would give them a 20 star review. Your home office staff are equally wonderful. With the personal phone calls and e-mails added quality to your wonderful.

From the moment I met with Brian the representative from American Van Lines I knew that I was making the right choice. He explain everything so clearly, of how the move was going to be executed and the price was very fair. The guys that moved me were very professional and pleasant. I would recommend Allan and his team to any friend that needs to be moved. Also, Ginger kept informed of the timing for the move. Overall I am very satisfied with the service.

Move from Miami to Denver. Manny our "head mover" and his team were excellent. Very knowledgeable and polite. I was extremely pleased with our team of movers. Everything was in the same condition upon delivery as when they picked it up. The only downfall is that there were not enough boxes designated for our move so we had to go out and buy more mid-day of packing.

This is our third move with MBM in 3 years. The moving team were professional and polite. I appreciate the speed at which they moved but would have been ok with a little slower pace in exchange for more care towards our possessions... That said, I would use MBM again (although I hope it will be many years from now).

I used a moving company like this one on a previous move and it was horrible. All the horror stories you read about them holding you hostage were true. These guys, on the other hand, were great! I used the full service option. They arrived when they said they would on pickup and delivery, nothing damaged or lost. Final price came in under the quote.

We purchased a home in Southwest Florida and had to move our household furnishings from the Jersey shore. We couldn't decide on the best method until a cousin gave us the phone number of American Van Lines and said they had very good reviews. They certainly lived up to them. From the first phone call to the follow up call after the move, what they said was going to happen did, and on time. Everyone involved was courteous, knowledgeable and very patient in dealing with us. Our thanks to Customer Service's Parisa who started us off, Jennifer our quality assurance person, Lexis and his crew who did a great job, and a special thanks to Victoria for an excellent job of coordinating it all.

This was a great move. Very professional. Love the guys. Very careful with our belongings. I would recommend this company to anybody. That's fantastic. Besides packing and unpacking were fantastic even though it was two different teams now for stuff as much as if we did it ourselves.

I am very pleased with my experience. All items shipped were not damaged. The customer service is over the top. Once I was assigned my own customer service rep she was the only person I had to talk to. Victoria ** was super! My driver Ricky ** is an asset to your company! From the time I contacted them to the very end, they were there to assist and help me with any questions I had. It was my first big cross country move... and I was nervous to say the least. The van arrived the very next day at my new home. This company has the hardest workers I have ever seen. They were respectful and good work ethic. I would have them again if I ever moved. You will not be disappointed.

An overall positive experience considering the stressful nature of moving from one state to another. Our driver, Ricky, was very helpful and clearly had our best interests at heart. Great customer service. Movers were careful and on time. Very good experience. Cost was estimated from accurately the start, even though we struggled with all we might take versus donating before our move. Quality assurance stayed on top of things and my "personal" moving representative was always responsive and timely.

This is the third time I have used this company and it was another great experience! Movers were on time and did an excellent job! Mike and Rick are the best movers I have ever used! I used the company in 2015, 2016 and again today.

We were very disappointed with how our belongings were packed. We have damage to mirrors, picture frames, and other items. We also find that items in one room was packed in other room's markings. We are still going through boxes to find lost items. We will be filing a claim for broken items.

When they moved our belongings into the house they didn't use pads to protect the hardwoods. When they removed the dolly from under boxes in the bedrooms, they scratched the floors which will need to be repaired. We didn't realize that's how they removed the boxes. They should have lifted the boxes off the dolly instead of pulling the dolly out from under the boxes.

No damage. Kept to schedule. Don't expect to move again but I would certainly use American. Employees are professional and caring. They are sure to keep you informed and updated with any changes. Computer messages make it very easy to get the paperwork done with little effort. Nathalie was very helpful.

Mike, Tim, and Rick were very professional, personable, and efficient. Not one item was damaged and I had a lot of items. The move was completed one hour under the projected timeframe. I would definitely recommend MBM to my friends and acquaintances.

I hate moving but this move was painless. Toni was my first contact. She set everything up from the beginning. Next Aldo, along with his team took over with the physical move. Then Marcus followed up to make sure I was happy and had no problems. Thank you to my entire moving team for making this move so easy and seamless.

I had a very dynamic move with 2 drop offs. They didn't lose anything or damage my stuff. Was slightly overweight and they were fair adjusting the quote. They were cheaper than the other 5 quotes I got. Customer service was great. Kept me informed as to what was happening during the move.

We are very pleased with our experience. The truck took a little longer than expected, but everything arrived as promised. Also, we had paid extra for shuttle service from our origin location as it was in city, but Victoria helped to resolve that quickly. Desmond is an amazing driver! We cannot thank him enough for taking care of our items and getting here safely.

When we moved some furniture with American Van Lines, their crews have been hardworking and did an excellent job. They were on time and were here when they said they were coming, both moving the furniture out of our house that we sold in North Carolina and the house here. We only had one glass broken and my wife had packed that box.

From the original contact and meeting with our Estimator to the men on the moving crew, we had nothing but a positive experience. Pricing was fair and better than four competitors' bids. The estimate of the number of boxes we would need for our self-packing plan, and the estimate of the total number of hours for loading and unloading was right on the mark.

Everyone we came in contact with at American was top notch. The Moving crew was fantastic and took care of our stuff!! Our coordinator was also very helpful and followed up to make sure all questions were answered. We would highly recommend American Van Lines!

I'm very satisfied with American Van Lines and I would use them. The moving coordinator named Nat was great and very accommodating. The crew was also here on time. They wrapped my stuff really well and nothing got damaged in the transport except for maybe a couple of cheap little plastic containers.

Big move to North Carolina. I found all the persons handling this move friendly and helpful and attentive to my needs. My things were packed well, however a wall unit was missing and declared damaged. Two lamps were damaged as well. The company has apologized and promptly sent me a claim form.

For their price and customer service, I decided to go with American Van Lines. Some things needed clarity like the contracts, what they covered, and also about the cost that went up. But once I explained it to them, or we debated it a little bit, they were able to correct it. They were very accommodating even with the misunderstanding and everything was fine. I will probably have more interactions with the carrier driver, though, because there were some things that I just discovered. There were a couple of things that were damaged and lost like a pair of very expensive sunglasses that I cannot locate. I have 90 days to have that looked at. Overall, it turned out to be a good experience. Living in a world where there's always negotiations, their customer service came through and that's what I would tell anyone.

The rep that I dealt with was a great person. She assisted me very well and was very on it. American Van Lines did a good service, but they got here really late. They told me they were gonna be here at 1:00 and they arrived at about 4:00. But overall, they were great guys and everything was done.

Overall way too many calls. I received like 3-5 phone calls a day from a variety of people "serving" me. It was a huge hassle. However, the movers were prompt and efficient. Everything arrived and the move itself was smooth. The "3 day" window for pick up was also terrible and the only company I have ever experienced this with - this is the primary reason I wouldn't recommend.

We were relocating after retiring. We have never had someone move us before. We contacted a number of moving companies, but even though it was a little more expensive than the other companies, I felt that it was the right decision because they move a lot of military families. I didn't know the protocol in a move such as this, but they came in and knew exactly what to do. They were on time and got right to business. Every piece of furniture and box was tagged and accounted. When they arrived at the final location, they put the items where I needed them. They worked very hard, and I was comfortable they took care of my items as well as they could be taken care of. Very satisfied with the move.

The packers and movers were fast, careful, and polite. They took extra care in moving big items down a narrow stairway to the lower level. They took extra care to put like boxes, kitchen, master bedroom, etc. together. They were careful of the new paint job in the house. No damage.

When my husband got a job in Nashville, I looked up the best moving companies online and ended up going with American Van Lines. My coordinator was nice and my moving consultant was great. He was more than friendly. It was beyond anything that I've experienced as far as customer service goes. The crew was also great and super nice. There was an incident in our apartment complex which was not because of them, but they handled it very well. They told me about it right away and I took care of it. Everything was great with American Van Lines. The guys were awesome and everything went smoothly. If I ever have to move again, I'm definitely going to contact American Van Lines.

After we sold our house, we needed a moving service when we were transferring to a temporary apartment. We went with American Van Lines and had a lot of interactions with their moving coordinator. She was on it and was great. Also, their moving crew was awesome. They were A+ and great guys. I would recommend American Van Lines.

I liked American Van Lines' customer service. Their coordinator who assisted me when I purchased their service was excellent - very clear and very concise. My experience with their moving consultant was very good as well. The crew during the move was very productive, relentless, and very organized. They were on time. They gave me a 30-minute window and they respected it. It was done 30 minutes before and though I did not pay attention to that, they deducted it from the cost. The paperwork was also swift, accurate, and very satisfying. It was a perfect crew and I would definitely recommend them.

All throughout this process, American's employees have made the moving experience significantly easier to get through. The actual van team was allowed to take charge, and from securing furniture to astonishing speed in packing/unpacking, they outperformed every mover we have used, by far (and we've had good ones).

Upon arrival to unloading the guys were awesome! Great sense of humor and also got the job done efficiently. Also, Toni was a great help with setting everything up and even when I changed my moving date. Whenever I move again I definitely will be using American Van Lines again!

I moved within the same city and on the same street. I downsized and moved from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom. The coordinator and the crew members were fine and so was the overall experience with American Van Lines.

Everyone at American Van Lines worked hard to make our move painless and seamless. Natalie was especially helpful by answering all of my questions and keeping in close contact throughout the time. Patrick and Eulis did a wonderful job loading and unloading our possessions and arrived at our destination quickly. They were polite and helpful!

I'm very pleased with the service I have received from all of the American Van Lines personnel. Ginger of the Pompano, FL office was especially kind and knowledgeable (not to mention patient!) about the entire process and in her you have a valuable asset. She is amazing. The men who packed and moved my possessions were friendly, professional and fast. I certainly appreciate their courtesy and hard work.

We went with American Van Lines for our move and the moving coordinator, Brian, was pleasant. However, my daughter and I made the mistake of numbering only a few of the cartons and not all of them. I had a lot of professional, heavy duty cartons, wardrobes, and boxes that I had purchased at Home Depot. I must have had at least 40 cartons.

My interactions with American Van Lines' moving coordinator and consultant were fine. Also, their moving crew did a good job and no item was broken. Everything went fine and I was glad with these things.

I've used American Van Lines four times because of the cost. Every crew that I've had, even though each crew has been different, has always been good as far as they hadn't broken anything and messed up anything. Also, Jason, the moving coordinator, was awesome and excellent. Every time I call for a move, I always got him. It's been smooth but at first, the price seem kind of high and I don't know how the move is going to go. With using them before, they may have overestimated and I was prepared but I've never had to pay that price. Then they put the weight and how much they're taking.

I've used American Van Lines 4 times. The first time early 2000, they moved my whole family from New York City to Miami, Fl & they couldn't have been more professional. I have used them 4 times since then & they have come through once again during a stressful time by making my move stress free. I highly recommend using them for your move.

Excellent customer service, and appreciated having a dedicated move consultant who contacted me frequently during the process. I would have preferred having an on-site assessment prior to the move to estimate the weight and access for the van. Unanticipated lack of access cost me an additional $2,000.00 for a shuttle. For both pick-up and delivery, the movers arrived hours later than expected (late morning and early afternoon as opposed to 8 am as expected). They had problems locating the address, so I'd recommend updating GPS access for the drivers.

I was doing a lot of online research for my move and I found American Van Lines. They were one of the top rated moving companies. I figured the cost was going to be out of my price range because I was trying to do the move on a budget. I reached out to them to kind see where they're at and it ended up working out. The three movers were all cool dudes but they could have been moving faster. Both on the day of picking up and dropping off, they gave me a couple-hour window and both times they were significantly late by multiple hours but they let me know and didn't keep me in the dark.

Crew arrived on time, pad wrapped everything and handled carefully. Total move time was exactly what the original estimate was for. No damaged items which was outstanding considering they had to carry everything to a third floor apartment. Crew was personable as well as professional.

I recently moved from Florida to Georgia. First time moving on my own, not a company move. Took a chance with American Van Lines and was very happy with the experience. Professional yet friendly and informative. Driver was great and Nathalie my coordinator was very helpful and kept me updated. All the employees seemed to really care about my move and concerns with delivery dates. I highly recommend this company.

My wife and I could not be more pleased with how our move was handled by the driver Mr. Ricky ** or the team he used for both the pickup/truck loading and then the delivery and unloading. All concerned were very careful when packing articles that we had not already boxed. If we ever move again we will use American.

My son had used American Van Lines so I also used them to move my pod from Doral to Miami. The crew of three was very good. They were efficient and did their work quickly. The coordinator, Marcus, was good because he kept in contact the whole time. I had a good experience and would recommend them to a friend.

The workers were polite, considerate, careful and worked hard. They were the best part. The price was higher than I would have liked. It kept going up. There's got to be a better way to estimate the whole move. Just glad for all of it to be over now.

Both pick up and drop off were done with soooo much respect for my items. The movers were exceptionally helpful. They were very assuring when they picked up he would deliver everything perfect. Lol. When I received my items they asked and placed everything to my likings.

My items were picked up and delivered within delivery estimates. The original cost estimate was increased by over $600 and I frequently had to contact my "coordinator" for information on pickup, delivery, and cost estimate. Spent a lot of time going back and forth trying to pay and get necessary information. The actual movers were fine but I wouldn't recommend the service overall.

My Move from Farmingdale NJ to Calabash NC: The movers Beldon and Lee were very professional and careful in handling the furniture and boxes. Everything arrived safely except for some minor tears in a particle board computer desktop shelving attachment area which was easily repaired. They were great at setting things back up in Calabash and placing things where I needed them to be. I am very happy with the whole experience and Victoria was great in updating me on the status of the move and arranging last minute items added to the moving list. Thanks so much!

When I retired, I've had enough of the cold in Michigan and wanted to move south. My wife contacted American Van Lines and the salesperson, Joseph, was extremely attentive and comprehensive in his presentation. He was very upfront and honest with us. The guys who moved us from Michigan were exceptional. However, we had an issue because our driveway is extremely steep. We're in the western part of North Carolina, up in the mountains. And the need for a smaller truck was communicated well in advance because it's about a quarter of a mile long and our builder told us that there's no way that they would get a straight truck up the driveway.

The Office Staff was thorough and followed through. This was a local move from Singer Island to Boca Raton. They worked hard to accommodate the date and timeframe I needed. The Movers did a great job. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. I was very pleased.

I had to get out of the high-rise condo was living in and I needed to have professional photos taken to show on multiple listing, so I wanted to get extraneous stuff out and store them in the garage of my new home. My real estate broker knew Brian from American Van Lines and was really terrific. He brought me boxes a couple of times and when American was out of the large ones, he went to Home Depot and bought them himself, then brought them to me. I had to move about 32 cartons and a few other things. The movers, Shane and one other guy, did such a great job, that's why I requested to have them for my next move scheduled for the 29th of March as I will be closing on the house in Delray. American Van Lines was 100% accommodating with everything. I really appreciated their level of service. Everybody was fantastic and it was great.

American Van Lines had the best quote and were the easiest to work with. They were prompt and listened to me. The moving crew was also wonderful. Though they broke one table, it wasn't a big deal so I didn't tell the moving company. It fell from the top when they were moving the stuff around.

I called several van lines when I was relocating, but since the lady that called me back from American Van Lines was cool, I decided to go with them. The rep who came out to our place was also great. The moving consultants were also good and for the most part, they kept in touch with me all day. Overall, it was a huge move, consisting of 4000 square feet or so, but it all went really well. The guys that did the move were great.

My husband and I work for the Department of Defense so we have moved a lot in this country, and this was one of the easiest, smoothest move we've ever made. My moving coordinator, Victoria, was absolutely excellent. She kept us abreast of what was going on at all times, when to expect another call, and when the moving van would be there. Victor and his crew were absolutely outstanding. They did a super job in picking us up and delivering. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. American Van Lines was recommended to me by a co-worker and then a realtor. I was moving from a three, two and half single family to a two, two and a half town hall, both two storeys, and they were done with both houses in 4 1/2 hrs. They were on time and very efficient. They took extra precautions in lining the new residence. Overall, the experience was excellent.

American Van Lines was very nice and very professional and we enjoyed our experience with them. The moving coordinator was very pleasant. We had signed up to have our furniture moved at a particular time and the first sale fell through, so we had to call back and cancel having our furniture and items cleared out of our house at that time. But they were very understanding and everything went very well. In particular, Kathy was very instrumental in helping us. She was very good. I told them that they would be hearing from us again, as we'll be doing another move soon. I would definitely recommend them.

I was shopping online looking for movers and American Van Lines was the first one to call me back. They had a lady who talked to me about the process. I let them move the big stuff like all the beds, TVs, and heavy furniture, and everything's done within about seven hours. The moving crew was perfect. I'll recommend them.

I had a perfect experience with American Van Lines when I used them for a move from Raleigh to Charlotte. The guys were awesome. I had no issues and had a great time. They did everything well and quickly, and the crew was great. They beat us to the apartment which was about three hours.

I went online and talked to American Van Lines for a move. Immediately, they sent me the stuff over that I needed for moving. I was moving myself and I told them what I wanted. My moving coordinator was outstanding. I talked to her, she arranged everything and there was another person that was dropped down to make sure everything was fine.

My experience with American Van Lines when I was moving to Florida wasn't good. I had to email their moving coordinator a couple of times because he didn’t respond. Also, they sent a truck that was too small and they ended up putting the stuff and smashing it on there. In fact, I even made my phone a video when they called before so their rep could see what the stuff was and how much it was. But he said that was the right truck size according to what he saw. So, they scratched up a lot of my furniture and broke some of them.

We completed our move a couple of months ago and I have a very positive experience with AVL. The presented product was delivered and the quoted price was met. Plus, a couple of questions I had were answered by the moving coordinator.

I've used American Van Lines for five or six times and I will be using them again in 30 days because I'm getting relocated for work. I’ve used them recently due to relocation and the moving coordinator who I always request for was the one who helped me through the move. He was very organized, prompt and he has helpers. The crew during the move was very polite, decent and helpful too. The same crew moves me. They'd follow up and would call me. In this recent move with them though, my brand-new 55-inch TV got damaged and it must have been an accident. They sent me the claim form and I submitted it with receipt and pictures. Hopefully, they would send me a reimbursement for my TV. Other than that, American Van Lines is awesome. I've recommended them to a friend and they used them.

I checked online for movers in my location, Boca Raton, Florida. I found a few and compared prices and American Van Lines had the most reasonable price for the same kind of work. One guy came to give me an estimate and everything went according to plan. I had to change the date last minute so it was a little hectic and difficult but we managed. They were very courteous about it, and everything went fine. I packed my belongings, and the only thing they covered were the furniture and glass. They were on time, too early then to unload, so they had to wait and they were very patient and nice. The whole thing went very smoothly. I am very satisfied with the service. I would recommend American Van Lines.

From contact with Renee to Rafael and the two gentlemen with him my interaction could not be more pleasant. I had an involved move - three pick ups before the delivery address and several changes prior to moving day were met with kind words and never once was I made to feel that I was being difficult. The estimate I was given prior to moving day was actually higher than the total I was given the day of, which was appreciated - I would rather plan for more cost and be pleasantly surprised when it is less than have it happen the other way around. I highly recommend American Van Lines and will use them again in the future if I am in need of a moving company.

My brother told me to look American Van Lines up and I used them for a residential relocation from Florida to Pennsylvania. The moving coordinator was very cooperative, explained things well, and wanted to help. The crew during our move was on time and ready to help. I was forced to move out of my neighborhood because I bought a pick-up truck so I got the services of American Van Lines. My interaction with their moving coordinator was simple and complete. Everything went okay. My move was only about six miles away and they screwed just basic furniture and I took care of all the other items such as the filler and the boxes. I did all packing myself and they wrapped what they had to wrap. The crew were good, they kept moving and they did the job.

We were more than pleased with the two men who helped with our move. They arrived on time, worked quickly and carefully and were extremely willing to help in any way. We have made quite a few moves and this was the easiest and most professional by far. I would definitely use this company again.

We have a grand piano and we were going to ship it ourselves initially. I was going to get four of our guys and a U-haul truck. My ex-wife said it's really stupid ‘cause we've never done it before and not only will we lose the value of the piano if it gets damaged, but if one of us gets hurt then I'm going to be responsible for the person’s medical bills. I am also going to pay the guys $200 a piece, pay for gas and a U-Haul truck. It will add up probably to the same thing a moving company would cost. Sure enough, I found American Van Lines and they gave me a price of $1,495, which is probably less than I would’ve had to pay to do it myself from Richmond to Raleigh.

Overall experience was outstanding. The movers were on time, and took great care of my belongings. They covered stairs at new residence to avoid damaging wall. They had to ad lib and carry bed headboard and base over the balcony since it would not fit up the stairs.

My friend had used American Van Lines and they were referred to me. Initially, another mover did not send any paperwork or respond to a phone call so I had to make a deal in 24 hours with American Van Lines and they took care of the situation. It was a very small move but it was a good one.

I used American Van Lines when I had to move from Charlotte to Raleigh. There's an online portal where I put in the information and American Van Lines reached out to me. My moving coordinator was great. She was really persistent, followed up with me quite a bit, and any time that I called her, she was always very responsive with questions and concerns that I had. So, I was very pleased. The three guys who did the move were good and very professional. They packed the truck in 30 minutes, which amazed me. They did a great job at moving everything with pads. And, I was never uncomfortable with what was going on. So, it was good.

The team of men who drove and loaded/unloaded the truck were wonderful. They were very friendly, really knew what they were doing, and worked very quickly and carefully. The whole move was completed much quicker than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I will gladly recommend this moving company to my family and friends.

I've used American Van Lines for several moves. I was very involved throughout the entire move and they were all very positive experience and it’s the reason why I've used them three times now.

Movers showed up when promised and delivered in a timely manner. All furniture was wrapped in moving blankets and so far my belongings appear to have made a safe trip. Customer service follow-up call later on day of delivery. Having always moved myself, this move seems quite pricey, but it was worth the extra money and to have no back pain.

We were moving out to Albuquerque approximately in the middle of February and I was looking at a couple of companies at the same time shopping around a little bit first. American Van Lines asked me to fill out their forms and this time I got approximately how much things were gonna cost. I came out to Albuquerque to find a place and after I accepted my listing, they gave me a price list. They also called me 3-4 times to see how things were going with my plans.

I built a new house and needed to move, and I used American Van Lines. The moving coordinator was friendly. I spoke to him on the phone to give him the coordinates. He was great and helped me get everything set up the way I need to. There was an issue with my move date, and I got a call at the last minute saying that there wasn’t going to be a crew available that day. Then they found a crew and they came late in the afternoon as opposed to early in the morning like it was scheduled. So, they were still at my house moving stuff in at 9 o’clock at night.

We had a very wonderful movement with American Van Lines. I tried getting quotes from a couple of the other movers but American Van Lines worked out really good for me. Once they entered on the day of the move, they evaluated and taped everything then moved immediately. We also traveled parallel with them in our cars. They reached the destination with the same timeframe and we did not get delayed a single minute. I have recommended them to a couple of folks who are planning for their movement already.

Our original long distance move plan fell through on Friday morning over Memorial Day weekend. My husband called American Van Lines and they quoted us at the same cost as original plus loading and unloading for us. They loaded our entire 2200 sq/ft house in 3 hours and were extremely polite and professional. We had to wait two weeks for our belongings to get from Pa to Tx, but we knew this beforehand. They unloaded all items for us undamaged. All our items made it other than my husband's tools... They were missing. The end cost was exactly what was quoted. Even though we lost our tools, we could not have asked for a better long distance move experience. They came through for us over a holiday weekend and at the very last minute. We are very grateful!

She put me in touch with the moving coordinator and answered the questions that I had. Great company - I had a move coordinator who was upbeat and efficient. On the day of the move, there was a glitch with paperwork on their end and she was able to resolve the problem in a timely manner. She kept in contact with me and the moving team throughout the day. I had a team of three movers who worked efficiently. They were friendly and I felt they did their best to keep the move on a timely schedule. The building security manager at the apartment into which I moved said they were great to work with. I will use them again when I move things out of storage from Wisconsin to Miami. The price of renting a truck, paying 4 guys to come with us, gas, insurance, and medical costs if we got hurt, all added up to more than the cost of hiring your company. Our homeowners insurance covered everything, as Baker International said they would not cover moving a piano. Your workmen were personable, responsible, and intent on doing a good job. I would recommend American Van Lines to anyone.

I was moving almost 50 miles because of work. Unfortunately, I was three miles short, so I can't write it off, but had I known, I would have fixed the difference. Toni, my moving coordinator at American Van Lines, was fantastic. She answered all my questions and concerns. I was on a very tight budget and I had heard horror stories, so I was a little concerned. However, when I had a question on the contract, Toni had no issue answering my questions and was very quick to respond to me.

I went online, looked for consumer reviews and American Van Lines had good ones. I had a wonderful experience with the company. The moving coordinator was very attentive. She almost calls too much but it's much better than being ignored. She talked me through every step and was very careful to make full disclosure, so I didn't get any nasty surprises if prices changed. Then the movers were a little early and did a wonderful job. They were really nice guys though some of my stuff went into storage. But everything else arrived intact and fine. I just recommended AVL.

We did a local move with which was about 15 miles a month ago. Moving in itself was stressful, but with our experience with American Van Lines, they lessened the stress of it. Their moving coordinator was very thorough and he was really helpful and very encouraging. He even offered me some boxes for clothes if I needed them, which I didn't know that I needed at that time. But when the moving crew got there, they had some boxes in the truck and they helped me with them. They were also very upbeat and quick. It would have been a long drawn out thing if they hadn't worked as hard as they did. All in all, American Van Lines was fine and I would use them again.

My father passed and I needed to move his things, I was not sure on day to the next what I was moving and what I was leaving. Renee at American was very helpful and extremely patient as my choices changed from day to day. Her experience gave my ideas and helped me make the best decisions for my move. Also the driver and his assistant were just as helpful in getting my father's things packed and moved. At the last minute I added several large items to ship, they were polite and got them packed without complaint. American Van Lines is top notch.

Our move was basically okay, with the exception of the delivery date issue. First the driver told us our things would be here the same week. Then Marcus told me he would call me on Saturday and tell me the correct date. He did not call me, so I called the office and was told by the dispatcher that it would be Monday morning. When that didn't happen, we were told it would be Tuesday morning. We didn't care what the exact delivery date was, it was just inconvenient to be told so many different things and plan everything around those dates.

At first American Van Lines said the move was going to be Monday, so I took the day off. But it didn't happen and we ended up moving on a Tuesday which was a little inconvenient. They did a good job with the move, however my wife didn't tell them to take my stuff up to my library. Although I had my library furniture up there. Anybody could have maybe pushed two together. In the end, I didn't enjoy carrying the boxes of books to the library. I'm not as young as I used to be. But the guys did a good job. We knew the job was going to cost more, but my company paid for it.

From my first contact with Victoria, my moving experience was excellent. After submitting an itemized list of what needed to be moved from one point to another I was made aware of cost. I was updated daily on the scheduled pick up date as well as a window for arrival date. Victor and his assistant arrived as scheduled and had my "stuff" packed and loaded with care. I was given an update on the arrival date every other day. Victor and his assistant arrived to unload exactly as scheduled. They quickly and carefully unloaded and placed our "stuff". I used American Van Lines when I moved from Florida to Ohio. In fact, I was given a list of moving van companies to contact and they were the first one on the list. I was with Angie and Victoria, the moving coordinators, and both of them were wonderful. The moving crew was wonderful. The gentlemen were so helpful and nice. I really enjoyed working with them, and I felt so sorry for them since they had trouble with the truck coming up and then they had trouble with it here because they had a flat tire. They were really great and did a very great job. They also gave me boxes and tapes. I did not have one single thing broken even with the stuff that I packed. They really had that stuff in there good and tight. Those guys that were on that truck deserve every penny that they make. They were really great, and I would really recommend them to anybody that’s going to move.

These folks are good. I heard many horror stories about moving with other companies and this is why I chose them, based on reviews like this. They were great, from the initial intake, where they recommended I could save money if I used other option, to the pickup to the delivery. I will use them again for sure if I need to move again.

I originally talked to several different people in the beginning of this process. When I put the deposit down for my move I was not informed of the delivery window by Jennifer (I can't remember exactly what position she held). The next day a moving coordinator, Victoria, contacted me and informed me of the 2-week delivery window. I explained that I was moving into a one-bedroom apartment by myself and would be working a full-time job M-F. She said if I was unable to accept delivery, then my items would be sent to a self-storage facility that I would be responsible for getting or hire a local moving company.

I recently contracted American Van Lines for my long distance move from Miami, FL to Los Angeles, CA. I needed to move a small 1-bedroom condo's worth of items. Since the first call and bid, they were top-notch. They were professional, timely and very thorough. I had a few antiques and valuable items to ship and they ensured everything was packed right and handled with care. They walked me through the whole process from beginning to end and were great. My account person was amazing. She was prompt and very on-top of things. If she said she would call me the next day to confirm a delivery window, you better believe that she called me.

Really appreciated how the driver, Ricky **, took care of not just my belongings but me too. He had a good team of guys who packed everything up, and two go getters to unload. The movers arrived on time. They wrapped our furniture with care. They left little doubt that they knew what they were doing. I will start by saying that I was given a time frame of 9am-11am for the driver (Eddy) to arrive at the pick-up location (Ft. Lauderdale)... He was there at 9am on the dot! The office furniture had to be taken apart at pick-up location and reassembled at delivery location (Coral Gables). They were very professional and friendly and very helpful. Eddy and his helpers were done way before 12pm!! My company and I are very happy with the service provided and will more than likely use them again when needed! I highly recommend American Van Lines! The Movers arrived on time. The inside of the truck was a mess, with old boxes, trash, and miscellaneous furniture. The movers worked hard and fast to load the truck. They unloaded my 25' x 10' storage unit, which was very full, in about 3 hours. The main office kept in contact with me prior to delivery to let me know when to expect the movers arrival. They arrived a few days later than I wanted but considering cross country, weather, and short notice it was reasonable. Only two men to unload, but they hustled. Towards the end, there was a desk on the truck that they wanted to know where to put, however it was not mine. It concerned me that someone else's desk was somehow in my load. The men were professional and got everything into the house in about 2 1/2 hours. Minimal damage. There did not seem to be as much coming off the truck as went into it.

Dealing with American Van Lines made a stressful task (move from Baltimore to Sarasota) almost a pleasure. The staff was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. They were never late (actually early, which was helpful). The staff kept us apprised of all schedules and developments. The van driver (Pat **) and his staff were friendly, pleasant and worked efficiently. I was amazed at the efficiency of their packing. They took particular care in packing our belongings. Communication was excellent. No problems and would recommend American without reservation.

Satisfied with the move. However there was some confusion with having the driver arrive at the storage facility first and not the apartment. That was discussed several times with customer service. The second point of confusion came when the driver did not arrive with boxes to pack the apartment. He had a few to back the TV's but I had to purchase enough boxes to pack out the apartment. As far as I know there were no problems with the delivery in Georgia.

Assisted in move very well and everything arrived in good shape without any damages. Was a little confusion with some timing and dates in the start of the process but Customer Service figured it out in a timely manner. All in all provided great service. Thanks.

Delivered it the next day in Miami & brought it up an elevator to the 5th floor in less time. Everything was placed exactly where I wanted. Not a scratch, break or dent in anything. Very smooth move. Crew arrived on time and disassembled what was necessary and wrapped and moved everything in a careful and professional manner. Delivered to new residence. Everything arrived and was unwrapped. All furniture was reassembled and set all the furniture where we wanted it placed.

Had a small load that needed to piggyback on other loads. They got one of their subcontracting movers to do the job when they weren't able to line up anything from the main company. They did that while they were struggling with office closures for the Florida hurricane, and despite the storm heading straight for their offices they didn't really miss a beat on getting the thing arranged. The subcontracting company employees were great. They were professional, very nice and did a fine job.

The men who moved my things we EXCELLENT!! They were really fast, cautious with my things, wrapped my furniture well, took apart and put things back together. They were very pleasant and polite. I pulled up American Van Lines as I was online looking for places to move. I couldn't be there when they delivered but I told them exactly how I wanted the delivery. However, I was told by someone in their office that they will call to let me know when they got there. I never got that call so I was wondering what was going on. But their moving crew worked very diligently and they called me when they got there. My wife was only a few minutes away so she gave way for it to get right on over there and it worked out. When I arrived to check it out, they did exactly what I wanted.

American Van Lines was right on top of my move. They were easy to get a hold of and they returned my calls. The crew arrived during the window that they stated and did a really good job taking care of the goods. I got everything in the box and nothing was broken.

I've submitted some things for claims with American Van Lines as some of my items got damaged and lost during the move. I think that my items were damaged by how they were packed in my home. One thing was on top of another and I do not understand why I have legs for a bench in my bedroom but not the bench. Other than that, AVL's coordinator was wonderful and the moving crew was fantastic. I recommend AVL because they said they're going to take care of my situation.

I'm an older widow and I was very concerned about moving across the country, but I shouldn't have worried a bit because my move with American Van Lines went so smoothly and the price was right. I was very happy. Everything was topnotch with my moving coordinator and the move crew were wonderful. On both ends, they were really good. I have already recommended American Van Lines to several other people.

Off to a good start. My wife was scheduled to move yesterday (Jan 25) from San Rafael, CA to Radford, VA and no truck arrived. No one would return repeated calls. Called this morning at 8:00 am, got a live person, they found the account and transferred me to "a person who could help". That was a recording. More as it develops.

Customer coordination was well done. I was kept advised of the process via email and by phone. The time constraints for the move from the storage pod to the house were well addressed. The movers were efficient and professional. I would definitely utilize the company again.

I highly recommend American Van Lines. First off Peter comes to your house and does a full evaluation of your move. He has been with the company a very long time and is very knowledgeable. Next you get your quote and you only pay a deposit to secure their services with the balance due upon delivery. I evaluated many services including driving my own truck and loading my own stuff into a drop-off trailer and when you compare the pricing there is not much difference. The difference you really get is they move your stuff which is huge. Now I packed my belongings in boxes before they got there. However when they arrived they had 6 guys and had my whole place loaded and out in under 2 1/2 hours - amazing.

There's this online service where it had 5 to 10 different moving companies contact me back with an estimate and American Van Lines came in a couple of hundred bucks lower than everybody else. They didn't overcharge me at all. We had extra pieces and had to move quickly. My grandmother died and left the entire contents of a 97 year life. We packed beforehand and it took four people two days to pack everything up. American Van Lines moved it in four and a half hours. They put it on the truck, brought it back over here and unloaded it and they were excellent. It was as stress free as it could possibly be.

I moved with American Van Lines and my experience overall was great. I did a lot of research online and was really a little bit ambivalent. But from the first girl I talked to, to every person I was in contact with, everybody was wonderful. They followed every step and kept in contact with me. They even called me while the movers were there to make sure they were doing a good job. They gave me an estimate when they came and picked up things, and weighed the truck before and after, and sent me copies of the weights of things. It turned out to be about $900 cheaper than they had originally estimated and there was nothing added on.

My realtor referred American Van Lines to me. With my move, I haven't found anything that was broken so everything was very well-wrapped. I had them pack all the fragile kitchen and important stuff and I was very happy that I did. Everything was excellent and I was very impressed with American Van Lines. I already have recommended them to several friends that I knew were moving.

I had my moving coordinator from American Van Lines move me from Jacksonville to Miami and then to Destin almost three years ago. The coordinator did a really good job and the move crew was polite and on time.

American Van Lines' moving coordinator came to the house, looked at everything and gave me a quote which I felt great about in the beginning until after the move was over. After they picked our stuff up and then was gonna ship it to where it was going, they contacted us and said they weren't gonna release it to us until we paid the balance. They tried to raise it over a thousand dollars.

Easy from the start. The estimate was surprisingly accurate and priced by weight anyway. The guys worked fast and carefully loading and unloading. Truck arrived at our new apartment on the early side of the estimated window. The guys even helped make sure furniture was arranged in the room before they left so we didn't have to shuffle things around afterwards. Would recommend to anyone.

I had to change my dates a few times and the reps at American Van Lines were accommodating. They kept calling me and emailing me. They were really on top of everything. The moving crew was on-time, professional, nice and fast. They made a list of every single thing they did and they packed my stuff amazingly. They did a great job. American Van Lines is an awesome company to have me move and I'd recommend them to anybody.

We had bought a second house down in North Carolina but my husband passed away in May and my kids were getting transferred. I didn't want to be at home by myself so I sold it and came back to Ohio where we had another house already. American Van Lines' moving crew was on time, fast, and very pleasant. They were able to answer all my questions and had good follow-up.

I talked to American Van Lines' coordinator who was a lady from somewhere in Florida and she did everything over the phone like contacting people in Greensboro. Everything was good. The moving crew was on time and very patient.

Move from NC to FL - the initial call to MBM was answered by Jason **, who represented MBM well when he analyzed my needs and gave me a fair estimate. After I signed, Marcus ** became my service concierge. He called several times to clarify or answer any concerns, followed up pre-move, day of, and post the move. Prior to the move Jennifer ** contacted me for quality control of my items and dates. On the day of the pick up, mover Victor ** and his associate Raphael arrived and were professional and courteous. The delivery went smoothly and nothing was damaged. Great job! Kudos!

I used American Van Lines twice now and everything has been excellent. Their people get back to you quickly if you have any questions or issues. The delivery guys were quick, efficient and didn't damage anything. I have referred a lot of people to them.

A female contacted me and she was very pleasant and understanding during the holiday time, which allowed me to just say yes to her and to continue with my move. The moving crew was respectful of my things and had it moved where I wanted it. They were very flexible with the storage company where my furniture was being kept in. It was overall pleasant and a good work. It was easy, and I wasn’t stressful with American Van Lines. The billing process was easy and flexible. I didn’t get multiple phone calls and emails, which I appreciate because during that time of transitioning and settling, there’s a lot going on. It was really easy to work with them. I would definitely recommend American Van Lines again.

I used American Van Lines when I relocated for a job. I called a day before the move because no one had called me. About 30 minutes later, a coordinator told me that someone would be calling to follow-up on the move. It was a two-day period. They loaded me up on Friday and it was Saturday that they would deliver. It was a three-and-a-half-hour drive from where we were moving to our new location. The driver and I had an agreement that I should meet the movers at the new location at about 1:00.

It was 1/2 the price than hiring a personal mover. They got the job done when they said they were going to. The only thing is I don't know if they pack boxes for you for a certain price, but it would have been nice if they had been willing to help me put a few things in some boxes. I had to box everything myself and some things got broken as I did not really know how to properly pack them myself. I may just pay extra to use a personal mover next time. I did not know until the day before when exactly they were coming.

I would use American Van Lines again. The coordinator was very understanding. I had to move my date a few times because of closing, and it was quick and painless for me. He made it easy on me. Then the guys who showed up were quick, efficient and didn't damage anything. They did a great job.

Everything went well from pick up to delivery. The only thing that was a slight negative was that the movers didn't have tools. They had to use ours. Other than that everything went great. Natalie our liaison was wonderful. Always called to keep us updated. She also checked to make sure everything went well when the movers were packing up and delivering.

Team was excellent! Very organized and reliable. Returned to pickup area to get bed frame. And had to return to storage area (1st stop) for mattress. Pick up team and drop off team were friendly, helpful and strong. We would use this company in any future moves and refer them to friends and family.

I was very pleased with American Van Lines. Their people came, helped, and did what I asked them to do. Everything went great, and I would recommend them. If I move long distance again, I would use them.

Was very much helpful when I planned a last minute move. They keep up the timings and there was no delay in the delivery. Goods were wrapped and moved neat and clean and there were no damages at all. Peace of mind guaranteed since they provide updates on the status frequently.

Every aspect of our move was top notch. The moving consultant was knowledgeable and pleasant, and the movers were great. If I need a mover, I’ll be calling American Van Lines again. In fact, I would recommend them to anybody who needs a mover.

The gentlemen that came were terrific, they helped us load in California and unload here. Lorenzo was the coolest driver. He was delightful, a good man to work with and was very professional, as were the young man who were with him. They worked very hard to get to the house in California when they said they would and to be here in Florida right about the time they thought they might be. So I’m totally delighted with the whole experience. The dining room fixture was beaten up in the process of the move. But when you’re going 2,500 miles and 10 days, there would always be a little bit of damage. Since we took out insurance, I’m sure it’s going to be taken care of.

I moved 300 miles from South Florida to Tampa and used American Van Lines. It was very good and everybody was very nice. The moving crew came, got everything, and delivered in the same day. I didn’t have any trouble with anyone of them so I was very satisfied.

My daughter had taken a job in Dallas and was needing to move some furniture from my sister's home that had been given to her to an apartment. I called American Van Lines and the moving coordinator asked me a few questions about what I was looking for. I explained to her and she quoted me a price and asked me if I had been quoted by anybody else. I said yes and told her what quote that was and she said they can beat the price. She gave me their new price and so I agreed to go with them. The moving crew was fantastic. It was two gentlemen and they were very prompt, called me half an hour before they got there, very conscientious and careful with the furniture, and made the move and everything went very smoothly. If I needed to move again in the future, I would definitely give American Van Lines a call and see if they could do the move for me.

The moving team has high efficiency to load and unload our stuff. They take care of furniture professionally. Although the delivery is delayed for two days (maybe due to the New Year holiday and snow weather condition), it's still in the range we can accept.

Everybody at AVL was very nice and the moving crew did a good job. I recommended AVL to a friend and they used them also.

I hate moving, but MBM (American Van Lines) did a really good job! From start to finish, I have nothing but good to say about the team that moved us. Everyone was courteous, professional, and truly cared about your belongings. I have moved at least twenty times (prior military) and I would have to say that this move would rank up there as one of the best! Thank you MBM!
