I played the games both via the cell phone app and via the main website - nothing but a bunch of useless tokens. I seriously doubt anybody ever wins any prizes from this, and I see that I'm not the only one who has experienced this (It also eats up your data usage and you get a bunch of emails you don't want, and the emails keep coming even after you have unsubscribed).

Seems like the only people that do win are people that are already well-off and homeowners. There was a giveaway today. I looked it up and saw the winner on the news but I've never saw a person that lives in an apartment or anyone younger win the prizes. It always looks like older retired people or people who already have money.

They ACH their checks so your bank does not have a copy. All you get is the ACH # on your bank statement. PCH demands that you send a copy of your check front and back for them to correct your order payment. LOVE the FREE Gifts that you pay shipping and handling. The stuff they send is making CHINA Rich. I've been playing these supposed instant win games they have online for a while now. First of all, the scratch offs are a load of BS, no one ever wins. The other games you're never going to win, no matter what, they got them rigged. For one example, I choose the same car in that car race game every time and it always comes in either last or second to last. The same thing with that horse race game. The bean bag (I always choose the blue one) never hits the hole in cornhole. The game with the ring toss always hits the same pin. So anyway, after noticing all these things, I just decided to check their winners list and out of curiosity I took a bunch of names at random and searched for them on Facebook, sure enough, NONE of them came up. Now I am well aware not everyone has a Facebook page, but you would think at least one out of the 50 or so names I chose would come up, but no. These games are fake.

I have returned at least 5 or more of these envelopes literally the day after receiving them. The last one I returned said that that they noticed I hadn't ordered anything and wanted to know if I wanted to change my mind and I marked NO and of course they tell you "no purchase is necessary to win" not to mention the envelope said "final step". I received yet another one yesterday saying "final step". This is ridiculous. How they play on people's emotions and time. If it's "no purchase necessary to win" stop harassing me to purchase. I personally don't believe anyone wins. I would like to know who has one that has NEVER ordered anything and what year was it?

See today I called to correct a mistake I made on the sweepstakes, that Johny thing for the name instead of mine. I asked the girl a couple of questions and now I don't want to ever enter again... See since I have been doing your sweepstakes, junk I would never want has been getting into my e-mail. I also received calls claiming they work for PCH and that I won. Let me tell you. This is why people are even writing off chances to win. They can't trust anything at all. All kinds of garbage comes with all of you... Like those gay sites, claims to order a free prize associated with PCH and it is all garbage crap... Thing my moral life would never want. I sent payment in two increments because I live on my Soc Sec which is barely enough to eat on. For some reason they say they did not receive the second payment. They sent me a letter that the entire amount was in arrears. When I tried to contact them they wanted to add extra charges and also charge me for paying my balance. Since I have read all the reviews I know now I'm (not) singled out! Games are awful to play! Either won't load, or so slow you can't play to win! Most of the time they don't work!!! This is awful and I'm so disappointed in PCH I will not play anymore. Now I know there's NO chance of winning! I can't believe after all the games I have played NOT ONE WINNER! I see I'm not the only one. This really needs to be investigated! I see names of winners but NO big to do on TV or advertising on it! I see very few names as winners and most come from N.Y., N.M. A handful MO and Illinois. A lot from Cal. Az.

What's the deal? Half time I get all my tokens, then MOSTLY they're not added up right. I got a Bingo today, and not won!!! What's up with PCH? I think they need to be investigated on the gaming side! And how they pick their winners. Like it's been said, they prey on the poor and low income families, because they want so bad to win. I only see rich people win! Big nice homes and people on vacay! REALLY???

When PCH says that its customers' satisfaction is their priority, they (unlike many companies I have dealt with) mean it. Yes, I do enter their sweepstakes, but I am not looking for a miracle win. Since you do not have to order from them to enter the drawings, I don't see the downside to their offers. I do order from them when something catches my eye and their prices are competitive. I recently had to contact their customer service regarding an item I had not received along with an item I did receive but had not ordered. With a smile in her voice and no hassle whatsoever, the representative credited my account for the item I had not ordered (she also told me it was not necessary to return it when I offered to send it back!) and told me that she was resending the item that I did not receive. No questions, no hassles, FANTASTIC!

As to all of the people complaining that they never won, PCH must receive millions of entries yearly so what are the odds? And remember, you DO NOT have to order to enter, so why the complaints? I deal with a lot of companies online and PCH gives me the best, let me repeat THE BEST customer service that I have had in a very long time. Just on the strength of their customer-based priority I will continue to order from them (and enter the sweepstakes) but I do not expect, unrealistically, to win just because I have ordered something.

The only thing that PCH is interested in is the players watching those video ads. The latest game, Keno, is set up so that the player has no chance of playing all 5 cards. After the ads, technical issues, and down right stalling, the best a player can do is 4 cards. It is set up to fail from the start. I must have made them mad because as of this date (Sept. 13, 2017) I do not receive any more email from them. It might be the searches I entered like "Final Step for the 10 time" or "Does anyone ever win the grand prize" and the ever popular "VIP status for the 30th time". For years, I found it more prudent not to order from Publishers Clearing House, finding it more useful to shop for merchandise personally. But recently, I decided to give it a try. In fact, I've ordered quite a few items from them in the last several weeks. What I found out is, you can only order the amount of items they deem appropriate for you personally, no matter how promptly you pay the bill. In fact, they will suspend your ordering privileges despite a bill being paid in full even before the items are shipped. (The company sends a follow-up billing email that makes a Writ of Habeas Corpus sound more friendly.)

When I called them about this, the "customer service - yeah, right" representative, who sounded as though he had just rolled out of bed, was surprised that my account balance was zero. "Hmm," he said. "That's weird. Well, you should be able to order more stuff." I told him that I would no longer purchase items from Publishers Clearing House and I would recommend that others seriously reconsider ordering from them too. He yawned... audibly. Do yourself a favor and find another vendor. You'll have a better chance of being treated fairly and equitably than through this franchise.

I never received anything. I wrote them about it and ask why I didn't win the instant 5000 dollars. They never did answer me. They have never answered any of my questions. But like a fool I keep playing. I guess cause I see those people winning when the prize patrol goes to their house. But then again look at their houses. All really nice houses. Never see anyone poor winning. I guess I am going to give up after thirteen years.

They have hung the carrot in my face long enough. I am 66 years old and I might as well face it. They are a fake. Please believe me. Don't do what I did for thirteen long years. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. They are now advertising their new contest of $1,000 per week for life, which will be issued in October. Guess what? No one will win the $1,000 per week because they'll claim that the winning number wasn't handed in. I find it hard to believe that with millions and millions of people entering that the winning number is never handed in. Also, what's with all the technical issues with the website that are NEVER corrected? I think they're crooks and liars. And if you don't order any of the crap they are promoting they take you off of their mailing list which is cool with me because I got tired of them telling me I'm in the running to win this amount of money which is a bunch of bull. I have to ask myself why I continue visiting this site, although it offers me almost nothing in return. I have reached the exalted status of "Sapphire Player" recently, after playing literally millions of games over the last five or six years. What does this mean? Well, it just means that I have accumulated over 5 million tokens, and that I *might* -- one chance in 10,000 -- one day win $300 or $400 on the "leader board," if I accumulate more points than anyone else. Since there are probably millions of other players, this possibility is very remote. So far, I've never even made to 100th place on this board.

The actual purpose of the site is to get you to buy their stuff. And buy it I have. Most of it is OK, but the shipping and handling costs are often as much as a third of the cost of the item. The many games that you will play will offer the possibility of winning cash prizes but after all of the years that I've played there, I've never won ANYTHING. The odds playing the slots at any casino are much, much better. And one of the very unwelcome requirements of playing these games is the huge volume of ads you will have to view in order to play. Some, you will see up to 100 times, if you play consistently. And sometimes, you'll have to refresh a game several times before the game will actually load, meaning that you may have to see that ad several times in a row. Technical difficulties at the site are extremely common. The games take forever to load, commercials repeat and repeat, and sometimes, the site just shuts down altogether.

If you just enjoy playing games for the fun of it, I wouldn't recommend this site. There are so many ads to wade through, and most of the products are not ones that I would buy. It's all about making you into a mindless consumer. I wouldn't mind quite so much, if they'd just let me win an occasional $10 prize. But here, the odds favor the house almost 100 percent. You don't have to buy their products to enter their sweepstakes and giveaways, of course. But again, the price of submitting these entries is the necessity of trudging through ad after ad after ad -- and all of the crappy music as well.

In closing, I'd like to submit my favorite quote from a wonderful movie, "Fight Club." What he has to say about consumerism is life changing, and I think that it applies to site like this beautifully. I should heed it better myself: "Do you know what a duvet is? It’s a blanket. Just a blanket. Now why do guys like you and me know what a duvet is? Is this essential to our survival, in the hunter-gatherer sense of the word? No. What are we then? We are consumers. We’re the byproducts of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty -- these things don’t concern (us). What concerns (us is) celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy’s name on my underwear. **, Martha Stewart. Martha’s polishing the brass on the Titanic. It’s all going down, man. So ** off with your sofa units and strine green stripe patterns." I say, YEA.

Now I realize none of this would be relevant if I didn't take my time to participate. They don't owe me anything, other than what they sell, their stuff is free to do, other stuff is a pay w/ tokens participation, and I don't do those. So far, about the only more serious issues I've had are with the endless repetitive commercials I sat through between EACH AND EVERY point in an entry, i.e. EVERY scratch off, EVERY lotto, EVERY sweepstakes entry, etc. Not in the big scheme of things, but it was painful to sit through! And some are VERY long and some of the people in the commercials were very annoying. Also, had some customer service issues (on certain things) and their form letters they send back to you, not addressing all the issues in my email, and routinely asking for a screen shot, etc. (just learned how to do that!), but sometimes the screen changes quicker than my screen shot can capture it.

Their instructions to troubleshoot are fairly straightforward, but to me, it's basically useless to contact them about a site issue, though I have noticed in the past that some things improved after I notified them so it seemed they fixed it. I don't request a reply, so I rarely hear back when they have a glitch, and they have quite a few. That's something they could improve. Then, there's the hoops you have to leap through to get the "job" done to enter, oftentimes additional ones as time goes on and your token count increases. Now, with search and win they make you do scratch cards first. If THAT isn't annoying! If your computer is having issues, or maybe they are, it's terrible, and sometimes doesn't allow things to get finished in time. I suppose there are some who appreciate the chance to win an extra few tokens in that one. They removed some things I did like, which is too bad.

I do wonder sometimes if they are making it more difficult to complete the various tasks to enter, the "site can't be reached", the "request timeout", the entry "confirmation" process resetting over and over so it doesn't get done, the various hoops one has to jump through to enter, and then more gets added to it the higher token amounts you get. It's on their end, or possibly on mine. But when other sites are loading just fine at the same time, it points to them. So then, is it a glitch, or by design to weed out the less than "faithful" or prevent a winner? Wish they'd stop it, whatever it is. Received an item once in the mail that I didn't order. I wisk through the entry pages rapidly so may have accidentally clicked on one and didn't check at the end that there was an order that placed. I contacted them via email and they very timely and politely responded, and told me to disregard the payment, that this time they'd count it as a mistake.

I'm more careful now to be sure that my "cart" is at 0 to ensure that it doesn't happen again. I wait a bit more patiently for the "continue" button to arrive on the screen, rather than "place order/continue". This seems just a little too tricky or clever by half for my tastes with the wording. I prefer just plain honesty and things to be straightforward. I once received a check in the mail for $10.00. It was a surprise, as I didn't think I won anything. I figured it was a pity prize. It may be that when I was rushing through some lotto or scratch something or another it may have popped up and I didn't notice it. At least I can't say I never won anything from PCH and they kept their word and mailed it if it did pop up, so I appreciate that.

Very recently, in the mail, I received a long over sized brown envelope that looked VERY much like a PCH brown envelope, similar printing, wording, borders, etc. Said I had won 1 million, (sure!) and also needed $12.99 from me to process the transaction, that I would miss out if I didn't send THEM a check. If people think PCH is the entity that sends that envelope, I can see why they feel jilted. This practice is very shady and the states attorney general should be notified. I thought about it, however, but in CA (my opinions and observations here...) with Democrats (not the same party of my grandparents any longer)/Progressives/Marxists/communists/socialists/statists occupying just about every bureaucracy and office and running things into the ground and the out of control corruption here, I'm not bothering. How can the corrupt be interested in cleaning up corruption? I have little faith in them. It went in the shred pile.

Just beware, it's not PCH when they want your money to give you money and they don't give their name or a decent address, just some PO box somewhere in grand central, etc. Anything that seems too good to be true USUALLY IS. If enough foolish people send them the "small" sum of 13.00, that's a bundle for them. Most anyone can produce believable "documents" now, so beware. These types prey on trusting elderly people, immigrants, unsuspecting, innocent people who are good hearted and want to believe in others. They're counting on those people to hand it over. It's criminal and they need to be caught up with.

I am curious if anyone has really won a "big" prize more than once, OR if people that don't buy really do win. Depending on the wording of the search, it's usually PCH's site that has the first answers that pop up and they're pretty generic with no answers there. But are they shady? I really can't say, It's not been my experience. I don't know them personally, but I think with all the law suits they've had, the changes they've had to make as a result of some of them, the customers they have that are complaining, the scrutiny they get, they still manage to keep in business. So, they either have friends in high places, or they are on the up and up. I hope it's the latter.

Recently, I had started receiving items that I didn't order, or confirmation emails for magazine subscriptions that I never ordered. Plus, their shipping policies are out of the 1980's. In many emails, I expressed my disappointment, and requested they cancel all orders they may have listed for me. I have been receiving at least 2 packages from them every day for the past week. I do NOT open them, and simply write "Please return to sender. Did not order".

But, the worst, is that they mailed me flower bulbs after planting season. And, in their fine print, it reads that they will not ship until it is planting season in your area. So, I am not only returning the false orders they claim I have requested, but I am also going to request a refund for the bulbs sent after planting season. Nowhere in the USA is July considered Spring. And, I have already emailed that I will go to the Better Business Bureau if a refund is not issued.

So far, that has gotten me removed from their email and random postal mail lists. I am still making minimum payments, as requested, simply because it will be too much hassle to correct my credit score if they mark me delinquent in credit payment. My recommendation is to email everything, so that there is a written record of your communications. Good luck out there.

A few years ago I won a small prize on the old PCH games - about $600. A form popped up on the screen and I filled it out, and soon another form came FedEx. I had to sign the affidavit in front of a notary and send it back, which I did, and they sent me the check by mail. People, watch those screens when you're entering. I would bet that some of you have won a game prize and haven't noticed because you clicked right past the form. To those who complain about PCH ads and merchandise, come on - where do you think they get the money they award? Think about it, you silly goofs! I see ads every day from lots of places, I'm happy that seeing the ads on PCH give me a chance to win. I will keep entering and hoping for the "big one", just as I have for over 30 years. Someday it will be my turn! I believe because I actually did win and receive a small prize once.

I entered the online Sweepstakes with PCH. They make you go through a variety of screens with items to purchase. At the bottom, you click "Continue" to go to the next page. One day, instead of just saying "Continue," it said "Place order and continue." I accidentally clicked on that but I did not click on any of the products. I then received an email that my order had been "Confirmed". I called them and said I had not intended to order anything and wanted my order canceled. They said it would be. I then received an email saying my order had been "Processed." I emailed them and they said the order was "Canceled." Then I received an email saying my order had "Shipped" and it included a tracking number.

I emailed them again saying I was "More than pissed" and that I was not going to pay return shipping but I also don't want the merchandise that I don't even know what it is other than the description of "20 books." I repeatedly checked the tracking and it hadn't shipped so I thought I was finally in the clear. Yesterday, it arrived in my mailbox along with their invoice. In the meantime, I also called FedEx to try to cancel it. They said they could not because USPS would be delivering it. I plan to "Return to Sender" but unless I can provide proof I sent it back. I am afraid they will come after me to collect the invoice. I don't want to pay to ship it back with proof of sending it because that will cost me $$$ for something that wasn't my mistake.

Also, I received an email that I won $10 and had not received the check after about 6 weeks. I moved in the meantime so thought that was the cause. I spoke with their customer service about both of these issues on May 20. They said they would stop payment on old check and issue new check and that I would receive new check within 2 weeks. That was May 20 and it is now June 10.

I still haven't received my $10 and I got the 20 books and am beyond irritated. I have documentation of the various emails and can absolutely get phone records to document the dates/times of my correspondence with them. I need to print and then scan them. I don't want to invest more time in them than necessary but if you require them, I can get them.

I played PCH for 2 years non-stop. Earned over 4 Million "tokens". Then gave up for a short time. Someone in my area won... Just a few miles from me. Then, I was shut off. I tried to re-enter PCH and I would last a day or two and they would shut down my account and I would have to start all over again. I have now tried 5 times to start the game again... To no avail. Someone there finds I'm back and shuts me down. I simply do not believe that PCH is on the up and up. They "choose" the winners and it's almost always a minority or poor ** person. They also avoid, on purpose, anyone they suspect is a conservative.

The only place we ever hear of the winners is FROM THEIR OWN ADS! Could it be there are not truly any winners at all!? I'm referring to the big $5,000. A week winners - who and where are they!!! Up until about 2 months ago I played these sweepstakes every day. I even had VIP Status and had earned almost 25 million tokens. I also enjoyed playing several of the games and played those almost every day. The reason I was able to enter these sweepstakes and play these games is that I used an adblocker to filter out the malware that comes with the ads. I would just turn off the popup that would come on asking me to turn off the adblocker and go on to enter the sweeps or play the games. But about two months ago that all changed. One day my system worked fine and I could enter the contests and play the games with no problem. The next day I could not because PCH changed the way their popup system works. Now, if you turn off their popup, the page just keeps refreshing and you can't enter any sweepstakes or play any games unless you actually turn off your adblocker. So I did.

And what happened was that the page filled up with so much adware/malware/spyware that the first thing that happened was that my antispyware program sent an alarm that the pch.com website was NOT SAFE to use because of the malware. So I had to whitelist it. That was the first thing that happened. The second thing that happened is that there were so many ads including flash content that it kept crashing my computer which admittedly is 7 years old, but come on - I'm not buying a new computer just for ONE website! So I would have to enter one contest, then stop, clear my cache and cookies, and start over. What used to take me about 45 minutes to do now took almost 4 HOURS. And some contests I literally couldn't even enter because the amount of ads were so great that the sweepstakes itself could never load. One one page I recently counted 17 ads!

And I can't even play the games anymore. I used to love playing Minute Mania. But again, with all the adware now, it slows the computer down to a stall, so there's no way you can play a game that is timed. And they're ALL timed. Finally, because I could no longer enter the sweeps daily, or play the games, or even get my bonus game tokens, because of Publisher's Clearing House adware, they took away my VIP Status that I have had for the past two years! As far as I'm concerned, Publisher's Clearing house sucks. They should be fined or at least be made to allow customers to use their site with an adblocker. After I've gone on their site, I've had to run Malwarebytes and the amount of spyware/malware they put on my computer was shocking. I ran the program right before going on their site and made sure there was nothing on my computer. I may make a video next time.

Publisher's Clearing House says that entering their contests is free. Well, it's not free if we have to buy an updated computer that can handle all their malware/spyware/adware. Nor is it free if we have to turn off our ad blockers in order to use their site. And it darn sure isn't free when their site causes my computer to crash, and then I have to have someone come in and get it running again. All in all, I'm very disappointed with this new, aggressive tactic of theirs. I miss playing the games and I miss entering the contests. I miss the VIP status. But my old computer can't handle all the adware and crashes my computer, and I can't justify buying a new computer when the Publisher's Clearing House website is the ONLY site that gives me problems.

And, I might add, I have Windows 7, completely updated. I've tried this with three different browsers - IE, Firefox, and Chrome - all updated to the latest version. I use McAfee and I also have Malwarebytes Anti-spyware. I have no problem visiting other websites and I have plenty of storage and memory on my computer. But when you go to a site like PCH, and you're getting between 17-38 ads on one page, with varying flash content, it's just too much. They should be ashamed of themselves. I've called them about this issue and they have yet to respond or "get back to me", as they said they would. I'm not expecting they'll do anything... but they should.

However, immediately they sent me an email with a code and it turned out to be $5 Amazon gift card and the code worked and was applied to my account. Everything else, you have to be realistic about. Your chances of winning are minuscule, especially if you look at their homepage where it says "325 Million given away!" or whatever. Think of the split up on that vs. all their games, sweepstakes, lottos, etc. Just use your tokens on entries to win gift cards and that's probably your best bet. I would suggest to keep in mind that many of these products are cheap 'as seen on tv' type items that are almost always garbage. I do not buy these types of products from infomercials and instead wait to see them in a Walgreens or Ace Hardware or somewhere like that so I can ask about them. I have bought several of these types of products at stores locally and they usually turn out to be junk. The good thing about buying locally is that it makes returning easier. Keep that in mind. All you do is place the sticker on the payment form and they'll send you the item. Well, I never did. A month later I get a letter stating 3rd and final notice for payment past due. I was confused, I paid in full for the item I purchased and notice the amount was higher. Then I noticed the item "Retinol Cream". It dawn to me that was one of the offer that came with my statement. I called PCH customer service, and they explained that they received my order and that it was shipped out to me and received at my home. I said, "NO I never received such a thing nor have I ordered this item." I also recalled seeing ad for the same item thru via email I received, clicked on the link and had put the item into the basket. But I did not finalized anything and closed the website.

The PCH rep I spoke with was very rude as I can hear it in her tone and politely continued with the conversation. She did provide me a tracking number that the item was delivered at parcel/box and replied, "I never received anything." At the end, she said she would ship another item and that I would need to pay the amount owed before the due date before it goes to collections. I said to myself, might as well, I'm not getting through to this rep. I also requested to closed my membership and prefer not to received any more publications or emails and ended the call. After thinking about that whole ordeal of getting my point across, I felt I was done wrong. I honestly, never ordered that item, but yet she was telling me I did. Generally I will zoom through the pages and if I like something I go find it elsewhere and get it cheaper and free shipping. If you do win, you will receive a real, honest-to-goodness message from PCH. They will NOT ask you to send them any money, or anything else for that matter. If someone asks for money from you, it is a SCAM! Now, in regards to the products offered... I have purchased several things through PCH, and I've received good things and bad. I've bought bowls that broke the first time they went through the dishwasher, but still have some dish towels I bought years ago. Just like when you buy things you see on TV, you're playing the lottery when you order. It is only through comments like these that PCH truly knows about the products they sell. I doubt their reps actually try the items.

If you buy things with a wary eye, you'll be less disappointed. You might be happy, as I am with my rugs. If purchasing something through PCH really bothers your bottom line financially, you probably should wait, save your money, and buy somewhere else. It is really SAD to see this many lazy and/or uneducated and blame PCH. By simply reading their rules and giveaway guidelines they would NEVER blame PCH. Buying/subscribing to any ads does NOT increase your chances to win and PCH clearly states they are NOT liable for any issues you have with that other company. PCH gets cents per advertisement and they accumulate so that they can give free prizes but those are OTHER companies so... simply look up their reviews and experiences. Look up their policy. If it is Best Buy then I guarantee you that you will be treated fairly. If it is some small company from Thailand, then you are taking a risk. Be a grown adult and take responsibility if you fail to do your research.

PCH will NEVER call you if you win. In person surprise for big wins or letter with a check. That's it. No taxes or similar bs from scammers asking you for money before the prize. PCH will never say in a letter that you won something but then ask you to fill out a paper or similar. IT WILL BE A CHECK or it will be a flyer saying you have a CHANCE to win something, or you could lose out on the OPPORTUNITY to win 10k per week for life. Do you understand these words. It doesn't guarantee, it's a chance or opportunity. Open a dictionary if you don't understand certain words. And most important read the probability ratio. To win the main prize or 1 million $ your chances are 1 in about 3.5 BILLION. So unless you submitted 3.5 million times, you have no right to complain for not winning. And even with small prizes like a laptop or similar, the chance to win is like 1 in 500,000. So unless you played 500,000 games, DO NOT COMPLAIN.

THE FACT IS, PEOPLE GET LUCKY LIKE IN THE LOTTERY AND WIN ALL THE TIME. But lottery is not free and odds are way better but still, in lottery you have a smaller chance to win the main prize than die by being struck by lightning 1 in 2.5 million. So play the free games, enjoy it, read all the rules and guidelines and one day you might win something. Either way don't blame any company that shows clear rules, odds, guidelines and even warnings on how to know it's not them, for your mistakes.

I tried several times after that but STILL NO WAY TO GET MY ENTRY NUMBERS. Still I keep getting notices from PCH to be sure NOT TO MISS the CLOSING DEADLINE. What is more alarming is: After I entered my information, I started getting tons of emails illegally using my email ID at the front of each message. These emails were PRODUCT OFFERINGS. I BLOCKED THE SITE even though I have NO IDEA where this SPAM is coming from. It is MY OPINION that PCH is a SCAM and should be reported to their LOCAL ATTORNEY GENERAL to be investigated. I know I paid for them this isn't the first time it happened to me. It's happening but the first couple times I paid for them thinking OK maybe I didn't. This is the third time I paid for merchandise that they have billed me for again so I did call Penn Credit explaining to them that I did pay for it. I called PCH they say they don't have copies of my own money orders. I know I paid for them I told them I will not be paying for them. I have had it paying for things to her three times before when I know I paid for them and of course it's this two and three for years later so I don't have my copy of my money orders but I know I was all caught up with them so I'm not paying for it again.

Then several emails that said in order to complete, or don't lose your chance or other emails that lead you to think that if you do not complete this one, all your recent purchases, responses were for nothing.

I've researched and have confirmed the "$5,000 a week forever" prize is real, with odds of winning being like 505,000,000 (over FIVE HUNDRED MILLION) to 1 odds, which is astronomical. Your odds are better if you play your state lottery, but PCH is free to enter, so I do. That's where the "realness" on their website ends. Firstly, every 2 games, instant win, scratch-off, sweepstakes, etc requires you to turn OFF your Internet Explorer Tracking Protection as well as turning ON your Flash Player, both of which install tracker cookies and registry entries on your computer. If you don't do this, the game, scratch-off, etc will not even load AT ALL so you can't play. Slick. Upon exiting PCH's website, I always have to clean out all of PCH's tracking cookies as well as several registry entries PCH keeps installing on my laptop. Not exactly FREE huh? Luckily I have software that deletes all of them quickly and easily without even having to reboot my laptop.

Kinda sucks since the "instant wins" and "scratch-offs" never EVER pay anything but tokens. My token total is over 86,000,000 tokens at this point, but NO MONEY. So don't expect it. Believe me, after all these years I can confirm that $$$ payouts just don't happen. The "Token Leaderboard Totals" are not real, so don't bother trying to win this. I'm up late so I always do the PCH stuff at 12:00 am when the new PCH day starts. Well, at 12:01 am there is ALREADY a list of players on this "Token Leaderboard" with totals over 300,000 which is impossible to do in 1 minute. I always maxed out EVERYTHING, every single day for over 3 YEARS but the highest daily tokens I ever achieved in one day was 121, 250.

I finally emailed PCH to ask what I'm missing, how are these people getting these super-high token totals in under a minute. All I got back was the same generic email everyone else gets stating "everyone has the same chance..." Oh well. I no longer bother with the fake "Token Leaderboard" thing anymore, so I don't need to watch all the stupid videos in the "Winners" tab either. There's no sense in wasting my time trying to win a FAKE daily contest. Instead, I just keep maxing out tokens and entering all of them for the $500 CASH gift card every day. It takes 3,000 tokens for 1 entry.

The "Wheel of Winning" is also a joke. You get to spin the wheel after playing 10 games (or 7 slot machine games). It has 9 segments, 4 of which are $$$ amounts and 5 are TOKEN amounts. After spinning this wheel 1,000s of times over the years it has never, EVER landed on a $$$ amount. Not even the piddly $10 payout. Ever. In all these years. This is impossible. Again, I just accept the tokens and use them to enter for the $500 CASH gift card.

So in conclusion, if you just want to enter the "$5,000 a week forever" contest, fine. Only takes a few seconds. If you want to play for tokens to enter for any of the other prizes, who knows??? Just don't bother with the stupid "Token Leaderboard" contest as it is fake, and don't waste much time on PCH at all. If you try to do every fake thing on the website you'll be there for 3-4 hours every day playing (like I used to do). For what it's worth.

Since I did not know if I would be home or not to watch this broadcast I decided to record the program. I also recorded the program before and after the broadcast. As it happened I was home and watched the broadcast live. I also watched the program before and after the broadcast. I did not see the information about who won the prizes. The next day I watched the programs again. I still did not see ANYTHING about Publishers Clearing House. I still have the recording and will show it to ANYONE interested.

Cons: I don't think anybody really ever win those big prizes. I seen it on TV again and again but it's just a commercial, it's not really a winner. I joined them, I purchased something of like $20.00. The payments are supposed to be splitted but if you go online you don't have that option. I been participating for around 11 years and haven't ever got nothing worth a penny. I had one of their famous gifts that is worth a dime in China. 90% of what they have is from China and they are junk that you can find at the dollar store for a dollar. WE see the commercials and offers again and again and the date goes from February to next May, from there several months after. The one from December 23rd is now deadline for February. Again, very suspicious.

Pros: The Seen on TV items are there so to get them on credit is worth the try. You can get good magazine subscriptions at a discount. Last but not least the one that's worth the 3 stars I gave it, they can open you a door for credit. Yes, after years of buying from them I received a credit offer from one of their business partners, then another. Finally I received credit offers from jewelry stores with items worth buying. In total, I hooked up with around 9 catalog stores online. Don't buy that much but if I need it is there. So it became a good thing.

After ordering a good many products I have been disappointed each time. The products are not worth the inflated price as it is but adding postage & handling makes it ridiculous. The shipping is inexpensive which leaves a remainer for handling a great profit. Products at The Dollar Store are of better quality & cheaper by $12 at least. My final order from PCH was a stainless steel container to store bacon grease; how could I be disappointed? The lid doesn't stay on, slides off at a touch. With shipping & handling I paid $26 for it. Then recently found a much larger, nicer 1 at Walmart for under $10!! As for winning anything... NEVER. They've sent notices saying that someone in my city has the winning # so I got excited considering the chance would then be 1 in 200,000. But if that were true it was certainly never publicized. I say IF it were true b/c around our area if you win big money in the lottery it is publicized that there has been a winner.

I think it's obvious the people in the PCH commercials are paid to do the commercials but certainly are not winners of PCH. It is my opinion that PCH should be shut down as clearly someone is receiving large amounts of money but it's certainly not the public. PCH is purposely misleading & seems to be getting more bold about their misleading language. I feel that for the facts of misleading the public about winning money, the below poor quality merchandise & the expensive shipping & handling, PCH needs to be shut down or at least closely monitored & corrected.

I have been playing PCH for a number of years now, whether is the Search or the Lotto games, I have played almost all of them and of course have never won anything. I find it quite ludicrous to expect to win when after they send you a PCH sweepstakes to your email telling you that you must enter ASAP or you will forfeit the winning numbers, when before they actually draw the lucky numbers they are already sending you a different PCH contest to win which of course tells you that you did not win the previous one no matter how many times you have played the game.

In example: they send you a contest to win $10,000 dollars a week for life and you enter every single one and play every single game and they are always telling you or sending you contest games that if you do not enter at that moment you will forfeit the big prize. Yet, a week before they actually announce the big prize winner, and they are still sending you false hope about winning that contest, they are already sending you another $5000 dollar a week prize contest, which tells you that you did not win the previous one. So why keep on playing the game when there are people that just started playing and they are winning when the people that have been playing for more than 10 years have not seen one win come their way. What organization supplies this $5000.00 a week for life or why none of the "winners" are seen outside of their commercials and they closed my message.

In my eyes, when an organization cannot answer simple questions with a truthful response, especially with their prior history of what is shown on their Wikipedia page, I suggest anyone who is trying to win money to waste their time and money elsewhere.

PCH does send out a lot of marketing items to try to entice you to buy. THAT is what their company does - It is a CLEARING house. They can't give away money if they don't make any! Other companies pay PCH to advertise and sell items for them. It is FREE to enter, but, yes, you have to scroll through the products - that's just the cost of entering. They never say you have to buy to enter - I've bought some things because I wanted to, I did not consider it to be a way to increase my chances of winning. However, you have to be aware of scammers pretending to be PCH. On October 31, 2016 I received a phone call at work from "Dave **" saying that I had won 2.5 million dollars! It took me by surprise, and I said, "Shut up, it is not!" And the odd sounding voice said, "Yes, Donna, you have won 2.5 million dollars." And I said "Shut up, I did not!" And then it dawned on me, I said, "Besides, PCH doesn't call people!"

The police were called and it was determined that it was a foreigner calling random numbers and trying to scam people out of money - having them buy gift cards and transferring money to him. They said he was known for getting very angry when people didn't play along. So I'm saying when you review PCH just make sure that you haven't been scammed by someone pretending to be PCH. And as far as never winning - how many people buy lottery tickets every single day and never win - it's a fact - there are going to be some people that never win! But, as for me, I'll keep looking through their products and entering their sweepstakes because I enjoy it.

As for PCH website games - I didn't play those very long - too time consuming. They're just not for me, but I'm sure some people enjoy them. Anyway, it's all free so I don't know what everyone's complaining about. I've been entering since about 1975 and I have never been sent something I didn't order or charged for something I didn't order. They do send the full bill, but if you look at it - it does give you the option to make a partial payment. If you look at their Facebook page they tell you over and over to watch out for fake PCH scams and that they would NEVER ask you for private information. Anyway, I think they're awesome!

On or around Sept 17th Publishers Clearing House announced to me over the internet "congratulations to our newest $10,000 dollar winner Mickey ** of McCloud California". I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so excited I read the email over and over and over. Sure enough it was really from PCH Clearing House. This I told myself is a real and authentic PCH message and it was real from PCH. It was not from a scamming company but from PCH. Now you can just imagine how excited I became. I ran into my 33 yr old bedroom and woke her up with my excitement. I was so happy. I was crying cause this is a prayer answered. I could now catch up on my delinquent bills.

And within a few hour I say five or so hours later I was sent another message from PCH saying they made a mistake and a man from San Jose California was the real winner and that I was placed in a drawing five $10,000 dollars drawings a contest my name was placed into for their VIP. They left a number to call if I had any questions so of course I called only to be told that they made a mistake and it was basically my loss but tried to give me hope by adding my name in a drawing. I then called back after some time I was not a winner. And again admitted to their so called mistake that they were sure to never let happen again.

However I am not happy and I feel I have been judged and that I am not worthy of receiving the prize promised. I also believe that the majority of winners are on the east coast and the western coast is a rare event if a winner is picked over here. If one does the research they might find this to be true. I also believe that PCH false represented the money promised to me and others as well from the research I have done. I also believe that PCH still owes us our money and some for the embarrassment, deprivation of character, the mental anguished caused, and for the lies they told me and others. I believe there should be some kind of action taken on Publishers Clearing House for this otherwise PCH will continue to think they can treat people in this manner and it is not only wrong to treat us this way but false advertisement. Thank you.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming because "life is life". One day while at work, I was trying to complete daily games, and my boss asked what I was doing. I told her "playing PCH". She went on to tell me that the previous year, she was returning home, and saw the PCH van at her neighbor's house and all the balloons. So, for those of you who think these are paid actors, they are not. All PCH wants to see is loyalty, and if your numbers are picked, you win.

I've had issues with a few things happening. First, on the PCH app, when they send extra entry chances, they sometimes don't work, I don't feel it's caused by deliberate actions on their part... and that it's the programmer's failure to make sure it runs right. I also noticed that on the scratchers, sometimes the 3 token amounts don't match, and then I see another number "dissolve" or disappear??? Other than that, I have no major complaints at this time.

The tech said "we are not responsible for these malware attacks." I told this single digit mental midget... PCH and I are driving down the same public highway. PCH suddenly changes direction without prior warning and causes a collision. My car in this instance is my computer.

To illustrate just how stupid these so-called Canadian techs are, I said... "Do YOU realize, by YOU allowing these malware attacks, YOU are preventing me from paying YOU a salary. YOU get paid simply 'cause folks like me kill time everyday watching infomercials." OK dude (canadian tech) add up how many minutes of ad time I didn't watch, then add up how many minutes 1,000s of folks decide they have better things to do with their time, and suddenly it amounts to 1,000s of dollars they counted on that did not come in. I told the dude, "if I hit a win on my state lottery, the 1st thing I do is take PCH into a Federal District Court and use my sharing of the 'Net with how PCH views the 'Net." PCH says going on the PCH website is voluntary. I responded with how come PCH is so rabidly fanatical with their hysteria laden ads to beg folks to come onto their website.

I hit a nerve with that tech. He is aware I found their Achilles heel and they can't protect themselves from me hacking away at it. Why else is PCH paying out 1,000s every day on 1,000s of websites in the hopes they snare somebody. My new approach will be to log in, then search in the following manner... why is PCH so rabidly fanatical with their hysteria laden ads, and repeat it 100s of times a day. Google will detect this upsurge in those search terms and hopefully anybody out surfing will associate PCH as being just a bunch of greedy manipulators. I won't open any links on the PCH website, except to SEARCH... since that is their latest mania-hysteria.

I am very much more cautious now and I have no idea how their program would reconfigure my computer. Not happening!

I did/do not expect to win: the chances of that being as astronomical as they are. However, I also never expected to get locked out of the sites by: 400 Bad Request, Request Header Or Cookie Too Large, Nginx pages that do not allow me to complete the steps for entry from all the emails – from The Publishers Clearing House, PCHSearch, PCHLotto, PCHGames, PCHFront Page. The BAD REQUEST page is the only response I have been getting for the last two days. Also, in theory I have over 3 million tokens – none of which I am able to redeem, because I can't get past the BAD REQUEST page that goes nowhere and does not record or complete the entries/requests.

I suspect some unauthorized (by me) downloaded cookie or virus that disables my access their sites. I suspect it is because I will not download from them and I still continue to use the ad blocker that was installed on my computer when purchased it, for my protection. This consistent bad experience brings into question how genuine the "no purchase necessary" claim is? And I ask how fair it is to lock a contestant out? Is it just me or is this a systemic policy? They should have told me six months ago that they were going to disqualify me and save me hours upon hours of my time.

Received a bill for over 500.00!!! Anything I have ever ordered which was not much I paid for when it arrived! Now I get this outrageous bill? WTF. I have no idea what happened, but I looked at the stuff ordered and I never received any of it! We do live on a residential street and we were getting our mail stolen quite a few times... But 500.00 bucks worth? I have no idea where to turn from here!

I have saved a lot of tokens on PCH apps and then when I switch phones I can't download the app anymore. The REALBUCKS GO app doesn't exist anymore and I had a lot of tokens on it. The PLACED PANEL app won't let me sign back in so I can't get those points either. I will never download another one of their apps.

I get a message or mail from Publishers Clearing House everyday probably because I have ordered from them since the '80. I am a fool. The items are not quality. Lots of junk I never used. Also I have unsubscribed from them and I still get mail and emails once in awhile. Sick, sick of Publishers Clearing House. The recent order I received was for 100 or more plants and only received 3 plants. I paid for it anyway because I have AAA credit and don't want it messed up. That probably isn't their fault about the order. It's the company I ordered from. But I am just sick of the whole thing. Thanks.

I've played and entered many times through Publisher Clearing House website. I have over 2 million tokens saved. One-time a message popped up displaying words you've won go check your email. I went to go check my email a few minutes later and nothing. Checked again throughout the day and nothing and nothing thereafter. This site is a joke. They also send you numerous emails stating "The Prize Patrol could be coming to your house" or "We just need your address for your prize". These statements are very misleading. Older people would have a hard time understanding these messages. We should not only win tokens. PCH should be either stopped or regrouped for the people. They make millions off of these emails and once you click on their web page, they're making money.

Publishers Clearing House randomly enters a quantity of 1 on various items you have ordered prior. My wife and I have caught it this last week 4 different times. As you scroll by the page of items and hit continue to go to the next page, when you get to the final page if you aren't paying attention to the cart and hit submit entry you have ordered whatever item they duplicated. As a result I have 4 glass butterflies, 3 glass elephants, 4 glass horse carousels, 25 butterfly wind chimes, 8 tire gauges, and numerous other duplicated items. I have poor vision and don't always notice that the cart isn't empty. I know they will take anything back but you have to pay the shipping, package it, and carry it to the post office. Sometimes the shipping costs more than the item is worth. I have spent several thousands of dollars over the last year - at least half of it on duplicated items.

I had been having fun playing the online games that Publishers Clearing House offers. You win tokens based on how lucky you are. You can then use the tokens to win gift cards, money or items. One of the items I had tried for was an iPad. While I was still playing, a notice popped up and it said, "You have won the iPad!" I was so excited because I never win anything! I clicked on it and my laptop immediately got a virus. Now my laptop is not working right, and I will have to have a professional look at it. I unsubscribed and blocked Publishers Clearing House, and I let them know what had happened. I'm also getting lots of emails from the businesses that advertised on that site, so my information has been compromised.

I have redeemed over 27,000000 tokens. I have never won a thing. These were spent 100 tokens at a time. I realize the odds of winning are extremely high, nonetheless. According to my math I should have won at least Once. Yes you threw me 2 $10.00 bones. That doesn't even cover the postage I spend returning all the mailings I receive - sometimes up to 4 per week! That is on top of all the emails I receive telling me "Only 1 more step Thomas". I play along as best I can and do most of them. What Really irks me is a lot of them tell me if I don't play along, my previous entries will be deleted. That is just totally unfair. It is bad enough that ALL the games are fixed. I waste 2-3 hrs a day playing these games, to win NOTHING! Granted, It is my decision to continue playing, But can't you make it at least fair?

I hope that you read this, and try to amend some of your practices. Also, I have a pending order. But It's been about 3 weeks since I mailed it. The product was a drill bit sharpener. Maybe you can let me know if you received that particular mailing. Thank you in advance for your time. P S.: If I am doing something wrong. Please inform me so I can rectify it!

Publishers Clearing House states you can enter on-line for the possibility of winning prizes/cash. Within their website, they have 'online games' you can play and bonus points build as you play/win that gives you extra entries to win those prizes, etc. Since doing this, I am receiving a TON OF SPAM and some of it ** SPAM of which I do not appreciate. This means Publishers Clearing house has sold/given my email address to these undesirable companies. This is underhanded and disgraceful. These people should be fined for using the tactics they use!!!

I am POA and Guardian of a mentally incompetent person who has been the victim of fraud from Publishers Clearing House and its subsidiaries for approximately two years now. Until I was LEGALLY able to control her finances and SEE what was happening with her monies, she has lost thousands and thousands of dollars in payments to PCH and its affiliates. I have returned "Refused - Return to Sender" literally dozens of unopened packages, boxes, pieces of mail, notifications from PCH and its affiliates since becoming the POA and Guardian in April, 2016.

I find it absolutely appalling that a company would take and take and TAKE from someone who obviously was incapable of making judgment decisions, connect her to its affiliates and continue to take and take and TAKE from her to the point that I now need the monies taken from her to pay for her care. She is elderly, desperate. I have attorneys in two states, and I intend to use them to go after PCH and its affiliates. The silver lining in all of this is that I have her bank statements from the checks written and the amounts and dates that she wrote them, PLUS approximately 50 bags (30 gallon sized) of her mail from the past two years when she feared that she had become a victim of a scam and refused to let me try to help her get out from under it early on. I believe COMPLETELY that the court system will find in MY/HER favor and PCH will repay the amounts that they SUCKED from her.

One of the affiliates got scared when I asked for a copy of the contract and I told them that I would let the judge take a look and I would follow what the judge said. So scared that they refunded the amount of monies taken from her, no questions asked - and NO COPY OF CONTRACT PROVIDED to me as I requested. I am AFTER PCH, make no mistake about it. "JOSH" from PCH felt a portion of my wrath on July 20, 2016, when I called in and requested a supervisor and refused to discuss what I was going to say to the supervisor with the person answering my call. Her name was "Maria". IF PCH TRULY records their incoming calls, then review the tape. I have no apologies for what I said.

My information was sold to a third party! Right after I entered PCH my once peaceful home was bombarded with telemarketing calls. Thinking I would win I put my REAL phone number down. Big mistake. Both my landline and my cell ring off the hook. Beware, they will disturb your peace and you still won't win anything. I wish I could file a lawsuit. Class action anyone?
