My agent was clear and helpful. I am satisfied with my service. The agent explained what was happening with my account with details and answered all of my questions until I fully understood the situation. Then my problem was resolved swiftly.

The report was thorough but I was shocked to learn I had signed up for a subscription but Richard was fantastic at resolving my issue. You really need to fix your checkout process as it was Not clear I was being signed up for a subscription.

When I paid the 30.00 fee, I was not aware that it was a monthly subscription until I looked at my bank statement. That is something that you need to correct. The representative I was on the live chat with was helpful with cancelling it quickly, but that is something that needs to be corrected.

I needed one record and used this site to get it. I understood that I was paying like $10. Then I got a $30 charge. Thinking it was my error, I let it go. Then this month I got another $30 charge. I had no idea I was agreeing to a recurring charge. I used the live chat to speak with Ronald. He was helpful and courteous, took care of me right away. 2 thumbs up for Ronald!! I gave 3 stars because I feel the site was misleading. BUT Ronald was great.

I believe this service is a scam. Hidden in the fine print is the fact that this is a recurring charge (of $40 per month!) and not a "one time" $5 fee. However I must give props to their customer service department. I used the chat on their webpage to complain and got my account closed and a refund.

It's a bit convoluted in the charges. Read all the details. I found out during my search that it's $1 for something and then the fee is split into different payments.

While I appreciate being able to access important information, I don’t think the charges are clearly indicated. At first, it said there would be a $1.00 charge which is the only reason I proceeded. Then one all was done and said, two charges were actually made to my account -$7.00 and $31.00. At no time did I feel that was clearly indicated. Fortunately, Sharon on the chat service was able to help me cancel to avoid future charges.

The information was easy to access obviously. To sign up was easily gives you pretty comprehensive information about the VIN number that you looked up the vehicle. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't realize that I was going to be charged a monthly fee after but that that's fine. I was able to get them to close my account because I was just looking up for one VIN number on a vehicle that I was buying. It's not a normal. I don't turn over a lot of vehicles so I just the value wasn't quite there to keep it but I could definitely see where a dealership would utilize this or someone who flips cars.

When I message the support agent to delete my account so there were no more changes, it was all done within a 5-minute time frame. I was amazed! No pressure to try and keep my account. I loved it. PublicRecords.us is a tricky site....and they don't tell you that it is only $1 to use it. They immediately charge you $31.00...So I requested a refund immediately after opening the account, and they refunded the full amount. Phew! Thank you, Donna!

I used this service today, and what I thought was going to cost me less than $5 ended up costing me close to $35. Beware that each piece of data you select to obtain gets charged separately. What your report is going to cost is not explained beforehand. By the time you realize this, you’ve already incurred the charges.

I was being charged $20 a month for the report package (which I don’t remember signing up for). I reached out via the live chat and spoke with Peter. Within 3 minutes Peter had found my account, cancelled the subscription, and issued a refund for the last payment. Peter is the best customer service representative bar none.

I thought I paid what I needed to and then noticed this sitting here after not using the Public Records going forward. This is a very misleading and fraudulent service. Doesn’t tell you it’s a recurring charge anytime you login and doesn’t have an option to cancel on the account either. Charged me for 5 months before I realized the charges on my card.

Fraudulent and they know it. I signed up for 1 report for a dollar and refused all other offers. I was then billed 31$ and when I messaged them they said I bought the package. I showed a screenshot that a 30$ package does not exist and said to refund it or face a lawsuit. They promptly refunded me.

Very helpful, but you get sucked into a monthly charge which isn't necessary for episodic or infrequent queries. Unless you are using this for business, the charge seems superfluous. But, the location service is great and is the customer service which fixed my issue ASAP.

I was annoyed that the website was misleading. It said I would be charged $1 for a report. It also said I could order a package, but I did not order the package - just one report. But then I was charged $31. I contacted customer service and the agent said he closed my account and I was told that the money would be refunded. If it is, that would be appropriate and I will be satisfied. However, the website is misleading and should not give the impression that it will only cost $1. There needs to be a price summary on the page where you enter credit card information.

My parents house went on a failure to pay property tax list (due to the fact that they both passed away, and I closed out their PO Box, which I didn't realize they wouldn't just send the bill to the actual address once the PO Box was closed). Anyway, I had to find out the property plot assigned to their home, so I could get things together to pay the taxes so their house would not be auctioned off. I went to Publicrecords.us to get that information and paid $30. Then a month later (today), I noticed my debit card was charged another $30. I did not realize I had signed up for a "subscription" to the service. So, I did contact the company and they closed out the account and refunded the second $30. Just a warning to others, be aware you may be signing up for a subscription, if you are just looking for a one time purchase.

I never signed up for anything more than one time payment, and y'all charged me 4 times. It was supposed to be a 7$ one time and so far y'all charged me 20$ each month for 3 months. I just realized that today and had to cancel my card and contact y'all to see why and apparently is a package. Extremely frustrating because this was never agreed. If anybody even reads this reviews I would recommend to not sign or agree to anything with this company. I had tried to order a report of my property taxes. I paid the fee thinking it was a one-time fee. It was actually a subscription. When I realized it, I used the online customer support. They cancelled the subscription and refunded money for the months I had not known I was getting charged. No issues or hassles.

I requested one report and over the course of 7 months was charged a total of$162. However, when I caught the mistaking charges, they refunded the money immediately. The report I received was thorough and the refund process was simple. I recommend them for receiving reports but be aware that you are not receiving extra charges.

Unfortunately the site did not give me the information I needed about a property in which the contractor was not paying me for my services. I was in need of filing a mechanics lien and needed the property owner's details. The site was not giving me the current information and was only giving me previous owner information. I'm not sure if it was because it was a dispensary and they hid themselves better or if the records service failed? Ultimately I not only paid a fair amount to get nothing.... The service also put me on auto subscription. Something I definitely did not need and didn’t catch for 6 months. Thus is upsetting that these companies take advantage of knowing people won't catch these kind of things!

I was charged $30 every month for the subscription I did not subscribed. I made a contact to Publicrecords.us through live chat and I was issued a refund right away. The live chat agent was very helpful throughout the process and assured that I won’t be charged again.

I think this service is a ripoff! I was able to close my account but only after I was charged 2 months. The person I communicated with on “live chat” canceled the service. My review has nothing to do with that interaction.
