I had a billing issue and I contacted Customer Support via the direct message and the representative did above and beyond to help resolve my situation. I was overcharged an amount of $28.90 billed to my account on three different separate occasions and I did not realize until I looked at my account statement. I was never told on the website that I would be charged for all these amounts.

We were trying to locate a family member whom we had not heard from in approximately one year. This service we were able to locate and learn they are doing great and all our contact information has been updated.

Amazing quick support. It was very quick and immediate response. No need to wait on long calls. It quickly took care of everything needed with simple prompts. I was unaware of the charges and when asked to refund and also prevent from future charges it responded and quickly solved everything in a span of less than a minute.

Customer service was very nice, understanding, and easy to work with. The data online was not accurate unfortunately and I was charged an extra 9 dollars randomly. None of the screens showed any additional charges other than the 1 dollar charge.

Upon signing up, I did not see any pricing for $9.95 (one-time or recurring) stated on any pages including checkout and was only shown the price of $1 access fee and an additional $7 fee (if choosing to download a PDF version of the report). I understand that businesses have to charge for services. All I would like to say is the pricing needs to be more transparent and clear if it’s a different pricing or a recurring charge. However, customer services was very excellent, quick, informative, and helped me resolve my issue promptly. I chose to close my account mainly because I didn’t really need the service and didn’t find what I needed to find.

I used this service for tax purposes. I had thought it was a one-time charge. I saw a recurring charge on my bank statement and contacted Public Records through chat. The service was quick and my account was closed as well as this month's charges refunded. It all happened in one minute. No questions and no hassles.

The records I got were good for traffic tickets and criminal records. I was looking for birth and marriage records, but that was not provided at the 1 dollar cost. The live chat person was very helpful.

Paid to get a record search, then it took me to another page to pay for the record I wanted. Everything was pay again...I already paid for that search. How do you trick people into giving you their card info take their money then want to charge them for the info they already paid for.

I couldn’t figure out how to close my account but when I went on the live chat I was assisted by an agent who was able to help me within two minutes. He was very nice and supportive of my issue and assured me that no further charges would be applied to my account, it was just that simple, they saw to my issue promptly and respectfully.

Search did not provide current information, and after I cancelled, they sent me 30 envelopes with the same welcome letter... When I called to tell them about the error, they were so rude. Save your money and use a different public record search - this is just a scam.

I found the person I was looking for and the report included general information that was helpful. I was looking for marriage entries but did not find any, which is likely a function of the person not having been married when I thought. I did get three separate charges on my account, which wasn't what I was expecting. I remember thinking $7 was reasonable for a single search but was later debited $9.99 and then $1.00 (still not sure what for) but I did receive a polite letter in the mail that indicated that I had an "account in good standing" so I contacted customer support to make sure I hadn't inadvertently signed up for another expensive renewal I wasn't aware of. I'm sure the information was on the website but likely somewhere in the small print I didn't read. Customer support cancelled me right away and most companies never mention you are on the hook for recurring charges until you see the debit in your account so I have to give them credit for reaching out with an actual letter.

You took advantage of charging my card for several months and made the process of cancelling very hard to figure out on one's own. I had to contact the live link in order to stop the subscription. Thankfully Ronald was able to help me with no hesitation.

This site does give access to some records but not all. Also, once you sign up there's a recurring monthly fee that feels rather hidden in the signup process. I'm not saying it's not on me for not identifying this recurring fee but the initial fee was cheap and then there's an ongoing monthly fee that isn't clearly identified. However, once I contacted customer support to stop the service, Ashley responded immediately and she's to be thanked for not giving me any hassle or questioning my account closure. I needed a current property survey. I went to Publicrecords.us website and found exactly what I needed. For a minimal fee and just a few minutes, I had exactly what I needed. After completing my task, I utilized Live Chat and Helen closed my account swiftly, professionally, and I could tell she had a smile on her face while taking care of business.

It was not clear when I signed up that it would be a subscription with a $9.95 bimonthly charge. I was only looking for a single report. And it order to close and cancel the account, I had to reach out to a customer service rep. It should be a button on the website. But Barbara was efficient and helpful. The information I received in the report wasn't significantly helpful.

While researching a house that formerly belonged to one of my ancestors, I stumbled across this site that seemed to offer a more in-depth historical report than I could do myself, including a special report by one of their 'experts'. So I requested a report $9.85, then had to add $7 for pdf, then $9 for 'detailed owner report', then $8 for their 'data expert', and $1 for something unknown. And then I received 2 letters in the mail showing that my report was available at their website: Each time I went to the site, the only thing that I found that I could not find on the web was just details about the owners: age, when they owned the house, some information about them that would be useful to a private investigator.

I did not knowingly subscribe so be careful of that. However, they were very helpful cancelling my account after being charged again.

What's worse is it also charged me for a bunch of add-ons that I did not authorize, nor was a subscription once ever mentioned. Foremost, the public record I was trying to receive only goes back 7 years although this building and unit have existed since the early 1900's. That is an astronomically obscene expectation for almost no return. This site is a scam.
