Raymond was awesome! He deserves a raise. He made things quick and easy. I needed to stop the biweekly payments, and Raymond was able to make that happen in under 5 minutes. I asked to stop the payments, and they were stopped before he even replied! It was amazing, like magic! It was a great experience and I’d recommend Raymond to anyone!

The site is not that easy to navigate and billing is very confusing. They billed me without authorization twice and would have gone on to do it had I not realized. However, customer/support service is so quick in helping with closing account and refunding me with the overcharge that I couldn’t even hate them.

They're Tricky. I thought I was only paying $1 for a report, but ended up paying $20. Several other upcharges were nearly snuck in, but I rejected those. But, They refunded me without issue. If you need frequent access to records. I suppose this is a good service, but I felt a little taken advantage of.

I did not realize this was a subscription model, so I was charged $80 before I realized that. I was able to get the information I needed, but had no further need for the service. Amy was very gracious to refund me some of my money, given that I had over $60,000 stolen from me as a result of a felony theft.

Paul was very helpful, prompt and courteous in addressing my issue. I had ordered a one time vehicle history report back in March. I recently noticed that my account was charged for a purchase I did not authorize. I have cancelled this account.

Got here and paid $1 for the report I needed and the wording is quite confusing, seems purposely so, to sell a $20 report package. My interpretation was cancel or you will be charged $20, not "you will be charged $20" PLUS the $1. That does not even make sense - just charge the $20 and then the report you came to run is included in that. So, bogus, guys. On the plus side, I went into chat and your (AI?) agent refunded the $20 when I asked for the specific text telling me I had to pay the $20.

Terrible service. They charge you for things you never requested. I requested a property report for $7 and they charge me an additional $20, $9, and $1 as separate charges without my permission. I attached a copy of the bill below. They did this the last time I used them but I was forced to use them since it's the only service connected to the LA city website for property reports. The property records that they did have were also wrong. Wrong Tenants and Sales info. Total scammers. AVOID THEM.

I accidentally signed up for a monthly charge instead of a one time fee for information. As soon as I realized the error, I contacted the website. Super scammy company. At no point did I sign up for a membership or subscription of any sort, I’m very careful about these things. I paid to get the public of one particular house we looked at, nothing else. Public Records put through three different charges that same day and then proceeded to charge every few weeks. More than once a month! I had to deal with my CC company for a refund. What a pain. Not a trustworthy company.

I was informed of a one time charge, then was charged monthly afterwards. Utter garbage. It lies about the one time charge and it does not remove your information from anywhere but their own site. It essentially is a con.

The report that was generated was very helpful. The issue came when I paid for the report, I kept getting charged $20 every other week unknowingly. That really adds up after a while. I am giving this review 3 stars and not 1 because of the accuracy and helpfulness of the report and it was very easy to fix the issue and get a refund. I am very thankful for that. Located their service and subscribed to do a search. When the search supplied information that was not actionable, I cancelled my subscription immediately. I paid the next bill on my statement and thought I was done with the transaction. One month later, the merchant charged me again. I successfully disputed the charge and had to cancel and was issued a new card. What a hassle for information that was worthless and a company willing to ignore a cancellation and still trying to sell customers garbage.

My experience with the rep in the chat was fine. My experience with PublicRecords, not so much. I was NOT aware that I was signing up for a SUBSCRIPTION service, and didn't realize it until I noticed the credit card charge--after several months. I only needed the service once, when I initially contacted. I need to be more mindful of my monthly credit card statements.

I think the service is good and if you spend the dollar to get something that you just need one time it works but you better cancel immediately cause it's somewhat of a bait and switch. They charge you $20 almost right away if you don't cancel. So I did cancel and they charged me $20 anyway but they reverse the charges. I think it's how they make money so you have to be careful.

I signed up for this service in order to request a single record of title for my condo property. I was billed the $1 fee expected but then came an additional unexpected fee of $9.95. With no further records requested, I cannot see how I could be charged any additional fees, yet 2 weeks later, another charge of $9.95 appeared on my credit card statement. As far as I can tell, this service is a scam attempting to charge customers unexplained fees for services they never agreed to!

I was pleased with the service and accuracy of my report and the live chat was excellent. It was all very easy to use. If I had to complain it would be with the menu. I wanted permit information and had no idea where to get it from.
