Don't like the way this service tricks you into a subscription, but canceling was quite easy. Not sure if I chatted with a bot or a real person. Information provided in the record contained a lot of incorrect info so not very helpful.

I used Public Records and when I was done, their customer service was efficient and prompt in cancelling my subscription (I wish every subscription was this easy). The website itself it easy to navigate and the Live Chat feature is helpful as well - easy to navigate.

I am incredibly impressed with the efficiency of the account management process. After accidentally subscribing through the mobile application, I reached out to request that my account be closed. To my surprise, the support team processed my request immediately. I truly wish other platforms offered this level of seamless and prompt service when it comes to closing an account.

I was charged a $20 fee for a reason that wasn’t totally clear. My issue was resolved very quickly. I appreciated how helpful the agent was. This is the only time I’ve used this service and it was for a very specific reason so I cannot speak much to the results.

Anthony helped me resolve the issue immediately. I would however suggest more transparency when you charge. I don't think it was very clear to me that the 1 time charge changed into a re-occurring charge. But like I said, Anthony was very helpful and solved the issue I had.

Anthony fixed the problem I had. I can't believe that I was being charged $30 to view PUBLIC Information. I only authorize $1 to view and then saw an unauthorized charged for $30. What a fraud. Connected with a live person via chat, which was very quick and without questions asked anthony fixed the problem.

They told me the cost would be $7.00 for my report. Instead my credit card indicates they billed me $38.00. My email statement receipt says $7.00 too.

The support team was very useful in helping me resolve mischarges and an inability to access the website due to a faulty log in portal. They were professional, effective, and timely. I recommend the rest of the company follow the support team's commitment to customer experience. I wanted a one time report on someone and ended up getting signed up for a monthly subscription. Luckily I caught it after 4 months. Consider making your user interface more user friendly and not as deceptive.

Couldn't locate where to end subscription. No problem at all. In just a few moments I received emails stating my account is closed. I'm not exactly done researching everything I attended from start, but the nonchalant ease that it's not for everyone all the time, this helps bring me back when I'm ready to pick up the pace again!

I was helped by Pam and she was extremely helpful and quick with her response. I didn’t have to repeat myself and I didn’t have to wait long to get help. I was a little nervous to use the live chat because sometimes it can be a little difficult navigating the live chat but the service was amazing and I would recommend friends and family to use this website for their public record needs.

I'm really not sure what "PublicRecords.us" really is. All I remember doing is researching the sales history of a house I was interested in purchasing. I initially searched for my local tax records; however, I was diverted to "PublicRecords.us". The charges that they want are confusing. I thought I was paying $8 dollars for the sales history. But, instead, I was charged $28 - $8 for the sales history and $20 for a monthly prescription. I didn't know that I had entered into a monthly prescription until I got another charge for $20 the next month. All I wanted was the sales history on one property. It should be free, if I was researching the local County's website, which I thought I was doing.
Regardless, I contacted them by email; logged in; and told them about my problem and requested that they cancel my prescription and remove the current $20 charge for the month of June, which they did immediately. That being said, the local property records are 7 miles from my house, and my time and money would have been spent better, if I'd just driving down to the records office, paid the local parking costs, and been given the sales records in hard copy.

My experience with Public Records has been both professional and expedient. I would highly recommend them. My only hesitation for anyone looking to use the service is to know that it is a recurring/continuous account that will continue to charge your account even when not being used for additional searches. Other than that, I was completely satisfied with the support I received all around.

Scam company, gave me wrong report, said that the report costs 1$, and after that charged me 20$, which I let go, and a month after charged me another 20$. So instead of selling me one report for a dollar, signed me up on a 20$ subscription without my consent, never use this product, no good info and a scam subscription.

I had a problem with my account being charged $9.95 for the past 5 months unknowingly. I wanted a refund and I also wanted to know what I was being charged for. Not only did I get an explanation, but I also got an immediate refund and also had my account canceled. The help here was so quick, the communication was easy, and I understood everything that was happening. Was this AI or a real person? If it was AI, then dang, you guys trained/programmed it well. I pulled a DMV record for my wife, but somehow it turned into a monthly subscription I was paying for a couple of months, unaware. Cancellation was quick and easy on the website. This website felt more like a scam than an actual helpful website. I needed a plat map of my property, and the website just continued to prompt me with charge after charge. And then, after I thought the several first charges, it hit me with another charge months later. The charges felt deceptive in nature. Trying to delete my account was horrible and it took contacting costumer service to stop the charges. The woman who helped me was very efficient, so I will give points there but overall this was a very unsatisfactory experience.

I misunderstood the charge for this service. My understanding was it was $1, but I was charged $31. When I used the Chat feature to ask about it, and told them I wanted to cancel, they were very kind and took care of it for me. I am sure some people want the whole package; I did not, and apparently clicked the wrong button somewhere. I applaud their customer service.

I've been looking for housing sale deed. They have the information from other public sites, they will put together what looks like a document but not the same exact sale deed I was looking for. I've charged like crazy 30.00$ and a recurring charges which never stops. Apparently you will have to close the account going to the site. So never go to their site because the document what you get is not legit. Only the numbers and informations are. And you will be charged every month.

I used the Public Records service once last August at a cost of $5 which I charged to my credit card. I never used the service again. I had no idea that I was signing up for a subscription at a cost of $20 every 16 days starting in September. It seems that this service is designed for businesses who do frequent searches for various reasons. I had not noticed the charges in prior reviews of my bank statements until now. I called the PRUS customer service line and spoke to Madina. After explaining my dilemma she was able to get permission to refund most of the charges! If I ever have need for such a service on a frequently recurring basis, I would not hesitate to use PRUS. Thank you very much.

This was a scam. I signed up for $1 and then was charged $1, and then a second charge for $30. I would not have signed up for it for $30. There are better info sites. Plus, I did not find the info I was after, even with their help (they did not seem to understand what I was asking for).

I no longer needed needed my subscription. I couldn't find how to cancel it online. I used what I thought was a chatbot named Timothy. Timothy canceled it immediately for me--no issues and really quickly. Then he informed me he was a real person. Thanks for the excellent customer service. You might want to add info to your site sending users to the online support. Many will think it's a chatbot, as I did, and not utilize it. Of course, that may be the plan. I tried to get their service, and paid 30 dollar for the report. Couldn’t find anything about the person I was looking for, even though he has information available at webcrims. I asked for a refund on customer support. And they issued one, which will be available within 3-5 business days. Overall, I am satisfied with their service, but would recommend at least showing the Age and name of reports before taking payment. If I had seen the reports age before making the payments, I would not have done the payment at all.

Your website needs a itemized subtotal before completing purchase because I fully read the information but I was under the understanding that I was being charged $1 for the single item I requested. Then I was charged for the bundle fee of $30. I only needed ONE document. It should be easier to understand what you are being charged for as the wording used is confusing.

Super helpful and got things done quickly. Was able to get a refund without questions asked and my account was closed without any issues as well. I recommend talking to someone if you need help or have questions about why you are being charged monthly.

I didn’t realize I would get charged $20 again even though I was looking to use the public record services as a one time use. I spoke with someone on the live chat and they were able to issue me a refund and close my account without any issues!

Upon reviewing the website I signed up not realizing it was a $30 fee. I thought I was only paying $1. I reached out to customer support via chat. I was quickly helped. I was able to get a refund for my mistake. And it all took a matter of 3 minutes to do. The customer service representative was very polite and helpful. There were no questions asked except for, "How can I help you today?."
