Fast and efficient! Mary helped me right away. Easy experience! I needed to cancel and couldn’t log in to my account. Mary helped me in just a couple of sentences. This review is more difficult than getting the assistance I needed. I never received an email to get into my account and Mary just asked my info and canceled it for me.

I had an issue with an overcharge that was not initially made apparent but they got it corrected right away with no issues. They were easy to speak with about this and clear on the details. They fixed this very quickly for me.

I was not aware that I was signing up for a subscription. When I paid one dollar to get a report. When I went on to the chat feature, Amy helped me. She was extremely helpful and very polite. I was very grateful to not be given the run around or be given crap. She was awesome and I'm very happy with the customer service I received from her.

Checked your website looking for a copy of an Elder Abuse Restraining Order in Sacramento. I only needed Sacramento. Got nationwide info. Was confusing and did not even get past the first click and gave up. Got nothing. However happy I got a refund. You seem like a quality company that understood my issue and provided a refund. I had a problem with my account being charged $9.95 for the past 5 months unknowingly. I wanted a refund and I also wanted to know what I was being charged for. Not only did I get an explanation, but I also got an immediate refund and also had my account canceled. The help here was so quick, the communication was easy, and I understood everything that was happening. Was this AI or a real person? If it was AI, then dang, you guys trained/programmed it well. If it was a real person, GIVE THEM A RAISE! I am actually so pleased at how easy this was and was not looking forward to the process at all, but this was a piece of cake. Thank you.

I used the service the first time and did not know I accidentally signed up an account with a monthly fee. Wish the website could be more transparent about this potential mis-step. The customer service promptly closed my account upon my request and issued a refund for the monthly fee. Use the service with caution, although the customer service is responsive and reasonable.

I would off prefer to cancel my account on my own, not to have to resort to the chat with a bot or whomever it was. I gave so much extra money on a report I only used once, most expensive report of my life.

I misunderstood the charge for this service. My understanding was it was $1, but I was charged $31. When I used the Chat feature to ask about it, and told them I wanted to cancel, they were very kind and took care of it for me. I am sure some people want the whole package; I did not, and apparently clicked the wrong button somewhere. I applaud their customer service.

I've been looking for housing sale deed. They have the information from other public sites, they will put together what looks like a document but not the same exact sale deed I was looking for. I've charged like crazy 30.00$ and a recurring charges which never stops. Apparently you will have to close the account going to the site. So never go to their site because the document what you get is not legit. Only the numbers and informations are. And you will be charged every month.

I used the Public Records service once last August at a cost of $5 which I charged to my credit card. I never used the service again. I had no idea that I was signing up for a subscription at a cost of $20 every 16 days starting in September. It seems that this service is designed for businesses who do frequent searches for various reasons. I had not noticed the charges in prior reviews of my bank statements until now. I called the PRUS customer service line and spoke to Madina. After explaining my dilemma she was able to get permission to refund most of the charges! If I ever have need for such a service on a frequently recurring basis, I would not hesitate to use PRUS. Thank you very much.

I initiated the online chat because I received a $31 charge on my credit card. I thought that I was only authorizing a $1 charge. Russel was the agent that I was chatting with and he was able to credit my account the $31 and close my account. I was happy at this outcome, but annoyed at needing to go through this process.

This was a scam. I signed up for $1 and then was charged $1, and then a second charge for $30. I would not have signed up for it for $30. There are better info sites. Plus, I did not find the info I was after, even with their help (they did not seem to understand what I was asking for).

I used Public Records one time to see if my car title was in my name. I am still getting charged $20 a month, but I do not plan on using Public Records again. I use the site for a license plate lookup which seemed like it was going to be a $1 one time charge. But I was charged an extra $30 for a package deal that I did not see until billed. I no longer needed needed my subscription. I couldn't find how to cancel it online. I used what I thought was a chatbot named Timothy. Timothy canceled it immediately for me--no issues and really quickly. Then he informed me he was a real person. Thanks for the excellent customer service. You might want to add info to your site sending users to the online support. Many will think it's a chatbot, as I did, and not utilize it. Of course, that may be the plan. Thanks to Timothy for excellent customer service.

Don't believe it when they say they offer a free trial. I used them one time and they charged me for the products I chose, then immediately charged $30.00 for a monthly subscription. Had to call my bank to get charge disputed. Ridiculous.

I called to cancel my subscription and Pamela was fast & efficient helping me to cancel my subscription. However 1 complaint which isn't Pamela's fault, but there is no option to cancel/unsubscribe on the website or in the emails I've been sent, which would make it easier for customers.

This website was very useful and customer service was amazing. I used it in the beginning of 2026 like 3 times and forgot about it. I had never been on Public Records. I pressed some things I did not really know for sure what they were. Before I knew it I was charged 71.00. I went to chat and she closed the account so there would be no more charges. They did refund 30.00. But I just looked up one record. It took about 5 or 10 min. I am still charged 41.00.

I tried to get their service, and paid 30 dollar for the report. Couldn’t find anything about the person I was looking for, even though he has information available at webcrims. I asked for a refund on customer support. And they issued one, which will be available within 3-5 business days. Overall, I am satisfied with their service, but would recommend at least showing the Age and name of reports before taking payment. If I had seen the reports age before making the payments, I would not have done the payment at all.

Your website needs a itemized subtotal before completing purchase because I fully read the information but I was under the understanding that I was being charged $1 for the single item I requested. Then I was charged for the bundle fee of $30. I only needed ONE document. It should be easier to understand what you are being charged for as the wording used is confusing.

When I paid my $30 to get a report for my parents' property, there was nothing to suggest that when the next month came around, I would be charged another $30 fee. There was nothing to suggest that I had signed up for a plan. This is how people are tricked into things, and why I do not like to use sites like yours, because you are dishonest. One of the most egregious sites I have ever used. I authorized a $1.00 charge, and they charged me that, plus $30.00 & tried for another $7.00. All I was looking for was the legal description of the property, and I didn't even get that. Plus, the 3-5 days for a refund is ridiculous, as they could just cancel the sale and the money automatically goes back without the wait.
