Joann was excellent at the Bay Parkway in Brooklyn store. Her customer service skills were wonderful! She made for a very pleasant shopping experience. Thanks so much!

Why Walgreens do not send a TEXT message for Medicine Pickup? While CVS sends the text message to pickup medicine? While Both have the Phone Number of Customer. I think Due to this Small reason CVS will be making more Customers and more Sales than Walgreens. Two days ago my wife visited the Doctor's office who is the PCP also. The PCP of my wife informed that she Prescribed Medicines for her. The Pharmacy name my wife gave was CVS . My wife waited for the Text Message from CVS to pick-up medicine. She did not get the message by the end of the day. Next day she called Doctor's office to know if they have sent the Medicine Prescription to pharmacy or not. The Doctor's office informed that they sent the Medicine Prescription to Walgreens by mistake instead of CVS.

When She did NOT get any Text Message from Walgreens pharmacy to pickup medicine, she went to Walgreens Pharmacy to inquire and found that she has some medicines which are ready to pickup. When she inquired why Walgreens pharmacy does not inform By phone or Text messages to customers to Unless they have SIGNED UP. My Concern here is that we never Signed-Up for CVS Pharmacy but they call and send the Text Message to pick-up medicine while Walgreens do NOT send Text while Both CVS and Walgreens Phone number of Customers. My advice to Walgreens is that with a LITTLE Change they can also send Text message or call Customers for Medicine Pickup without SIGNING UP of Customers and can have a better Customer service, more sales and Walgreens Pharmacy can make more Customers and more sales.

Most reviews tend to come from frustration, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize a truly great experience. Prescriptions can be complicated, with a lot of moving parts, and it’s easy for things to fall through the cracks. That’s why I really appreciated the help I received from ** at the Walgreens on 137th Ave and 153rd Street in Miami. Instead of giving a routine answer or sending me elsewhere, she went out of her way to find a solution. She took the time, made the effort, and genuinely cared about helping me—not just completing a transaction.

What stood out the most is that she didn’t just “do her job”—she went above and beyond, even helping me explore the best options available, regardless of location. That level of service is rare. Walgreens should recognize employees like **—she sets the standard for what customer service should look like. Thank you, **. Your effort did not go unnoticed, and it’s truly appreciated.

I went in to Walgreens this morning looking for Memory Support by Walgreens, since I knew what the package looked like I went up and down the vitamin aisle twice not finding it. Sue, a pharmacy tech came up and asked what I was looking for and joined the search. We both went up and down the aisle not finding it. Sue brought out her phone and could not locate them (must have been discontinued last month after I bought 4 boxes for the ladies at the retirement home). She was so very nice, helpful and apologetic (I didn't she should apologize for something she has no control over). I would give more stars if I could.

For over 30 years, I have been happy with my Walgreens at 8000 Lake Underhill, Orlando, but I have to say when I went yesterday, it was close to lunch and I knew there would be a line of cars but I had to get my prescriptions. I was prepared for a long wait. Luckily, I was the 4th car in line so I thought, ok, not bad a half hour maybe. Happily, it was less than 10 minutes, and the young man at the counter was so good, in TWO minutes of driving up to the window, he handed me my prescriptions. He is pleasant but mostly fast and efficient. It was like watching a commercial in fast forward. I really appreciated not having to wait long. It was great to see Walgreens having such hard-working people to take care of their customers who need their medicine.

Sat in lines for 20 minutes with only two cars in front of me. This pharmacy is not run well. Person who waited on me said they're fully staffed which is a joke. Would not recommend going to this pharmacy at all.

My physician sent a prescription for pain medicine to Walgreens on Old Orchard Rd in Skokie, Illinois 60076 on Friday morning, July 17, 2026. I knew that they are slow in filing prescriptions, and so I waited until 9am Monday, July 20 to go in. They told me that it was not scheduled to be filled until 11:30am that day. I asked why it would take 3 days to fill and what did she mean it was scheduled to be filled at 11:30? At that point, she told me I could wait 15-20 minutes and they could have it. I had an appointment, couldn't wait and left.

I came back after my appointment about 11 am. It was not filled yet. She told me that they were getting a shipment tomorrow. I said I was told when I came in earlier that it would be ready this morning. She said if I waited, they could get it. I asked why she told me they were getting a delivery the next day if they had a sufficient supply there. No answer. They close for lunch at 11 am and we're pulling out the gate that they use to close off the pharmacy counter.

I waited for the medicine. They called me when they had it. She told me my insurance wasn't in their system. I said I have had a couple of other prescriptions earlier this year. It should be there. She said she could get the information. On my way out, I talked to the store manager. It shouldn't take 3 days to get meds. It shouldn't be such a hassle.

I would Highly recommend shopping around before considering Walgreens. This company completely overcharges customers. I purchased a medication from them for my pet, and about fell in the floor when I went to check out and the pharmacist told me the price was $460.00. After I got home I went online and shopped around for that same medication at other legit online pharmacies like petmeds.com, chewy.com, etc, and everywhere I checked I could buy that exact same medication for around $70.00. I couldn't believe how much they overcharged me, especially since I have been out of work for a couple months and literally don't know how I am going to pay my bills next months. This company took advantage of me and I'm sure they do the same to others. Shame on this company!

My doctor called in a prescription for me to Walgreens at 1:30 on Wednesday. It was for a "Z" pack (azithromycin). Here it is 9:30 on Thursday and I still haven't heard from them. If you don't know, a Z pack is prepackaged in a blister pack, so it simply has to be taken out of a box and put in a paper bag. I won't use Walgreens again.

Walgreens Pharmacy has went downhill tremendously!! They leave you on hold forever! Temporarily close down whenever they feel like it, and don't care if you get your medication! I'm constantly fighting to get my son's seizure medications! It should not be this difficult!!
