This is for pharmacies' owner: Walgreens bought out our pharmacy and there was a retention bonus that should be paid after 360 days, they refused to pay the balance on the due date, even though we have a contract and agreement!
Few years ago I ordered something online on the Walgreens website and had very negative experience, there were some glitches, I do not remember which one but remember I promised not to deal with them in the future. Now I decided to give it one more try in hope the fixed online platform errors. They did not, it became even worse. First of all, my payment was not accepted multiple times with error "Try later", on 6th times 2 days after it finally worked, but instead of FSA card which I specified as a payment method they charged second one, additional non-FSA card. Then address line 2 wiped off apartment number many times, and I ended up making an order w/o apt number. Then instead of promised 2-3 days of shipping it happened to be 4 business days + 2 weekends. I think they should fire head of their IT department if they want to succeed in selling things online, terrible experience that does not improve over time.
The Walgreens pharmacies in Colorado Springs that I go to are horrible! They lose prescriptions. The lines are long just about every time you go and they move like slugs. They are so incredibly slow! They're so slow when it comes to filling prescriptions and finding prescriptions that I can’t stand to go in there! The managers or pharmacists need to light a fire under their butts! I’ve tried other pharmacies, but they they don’t have some of my prescriptions, so I’m stuck with Walgreens. I CANNOT STAND GOING!!!
Walgreens 2310 Oregon Avenue Philadelphia Pennsylvania 19145. Shopping there day or night is very uncomfortable because people take things right out the door without paying. The teenagers and the older folks even scared the customers because they become volatile. The manager does nothing except maybe call law enforcement who does nothing. The thieves always get away and come back and the situation continues every day. The workers are scared to come to work. Their security guard sleeps practically all night and nothing gets done. What's wrong with their system. With all that's going on can someone make a change A.S.A.P?
Walgreens never has my prescription that I have to take every day. I always have my prescriptions on auto-fill, however, they never have my meds when it’s time to refill. They’re now closed on weekends, so if and when I run out on Friday and they don’t have my prescription ready, I won’t have any meds for an entire weekend. I can’t miss a day of meds. On top of that, they’re always understaffed. My mother has had the same issues! I have used Walgreens Pharmacy for decades, but today I am transferring my prescriptions.
Walgreens refuses to fill over-the-counter requests for ivermectin to customers, even though Tennessee Governor, Bill **, signed a law making it legal for citizens to purchase ivermectin with no prescription. Walgreens should stay out of politics and bribery from Big pharmacy - and just ethically run a fair and unbiased business.
Walgreens is the worst pharmacy. If I had a choice I would go to any pharmacy, except CVS, but my insurance won't let me go anywhere else. They are very unprofessional and seem to never have the medication I need. Do not go to Walgreens if you have a choice.
The Walgreen pharmacist lies to me twice! They said they had my prescription in stock and they said they had my insurance on file. After I had my prescription transferred, I got a text that they did not have them in stock and that I'd have to wait. The whole point of transferring the prescription was to get it right away. Finally, I go to pick it up and they make me wait at the drive up for over a half hour. (They serve everyone inside before taking drive up, even though I was there first.) He asks for my insurance, which I did not have because the woman told me it was on file. She lied to me twice! I asked him to call Cub because they have it. He refused. I will never ever go to Walgreens again. Cub has my business from now on. They are fantastic!
Walgreens price to fill my prescription for a generic drug was nearly $1000 when other pharmacies could fill the prescription for $17. I attempted to transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. Walgreens refused to transfer the prescription. The only reason given was that it was company policy. I had to go back to my doctor, have the prescription at Walgreens cancelled, and have a new prescription sent to the more reasonable pharmacy. All of this was very inconvenient for me and for the doctor and took a long time to complete. Thank goodness the prescription was not something I needed right away. This incident gives the strong impression that Walgreen is holding hostage medication people need for their health. That seems shameful to me.
To make matters worse, when I was ordering the medication, I first attempted to order it online. The Walgreens web site wanted me to provide my credit card to be charged without telling me how much the prescription would cost! We don't have insurance for this. Had I been foolish enough to click submit we'd be out nearly $1000. What kind of a company won't tell you how much something will cost before you buy. I feel like I'm dealing with some sort of criminal organization. Stay far away from Walgreens, for your health.
My mother has been having nothing but problems using Walmart Pharmacy in New Haven, Ct at 87 Foxon St. They continually give her issues with her prescriptions where they won’t tell her which of her medications are filled when specifically asked. She has had so many problems, she told them she wanted her prescriptions transferred to a different location which they blatantly ignored! Then when she tried having a prescription called into the new Walgreens location she wanted to use she was never told the New Haven office had the order sitting there.
Long story short I went with my elderly mom to pick up her blood pressure medication which she hasn’t been able to take for 4 days and when she was finally told by the new pharmacy it was sitting to be picked up at the previous location. So we get all the want to the New Haven location and get in line to only be told by the general store manager pictured in this complaint that the pharmacy was closing due to sickness.
There were 5 other customers in line and when I explained how this was an emergency and my mother needed to get her blood pressure pill the general manager did NOT CARE!!!! I’m guessing his name may have been Roble by the pic I took but told him if something were to happen I would personally be holding him and Walgreens liable. He still didn’t care! He was not empathetic, nor showed any remorse to that fact that my mother could have a heart emergency without her medication.
When I saw there was 1 person behind the counter I inquired and said, "You mean knowing this medication is for a heart condition and knowing your pharmacy was neglectful in getting her prescription to her in time that you’re not willing to allow her to get her med with the other 5 customers." His answer was, “No because there could also be someone else who comes in also!” This general manager does NOT belong manager and should be fired IMMEDIATELY for risking the health and well-being of a customer on heart medications.
I was so upset when I left the store I immediately contacted the North Haven Walgreens pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist on an urgent basis. He without hesitation transferred (all) my mom's prescription and not just the heart medication she needed. We immediately went to that pharmacy to pick it up. I will be leaving reviews and sharing this info all over social media due to the continued and constant incompetence and risk not only the New Haven pharmacy put my mother at but also the general manager of the store who did NOT care if a patient lost their life!
VETS BEWARE!! Walgreens pharmacy "WILL NOT" offer "ANY DISCOUNTS FOR VETS", even if you pay cash and no insurance or if you want to use GoodRX or other coupons. They state that the VA should pay them full price. I paid $150 for 3 prescriptions that I could have paid $34 with GoodRX. Contacted both store and corporate and was told this is the pharmacy policy. WHAT A SCAM!!! 11/14/2022
Location at Preston and Lebanon in Frisco, TX always has long lines, frequently has issues processing prescriptions and most recently the pharmacist was very rude. Avoid this store. We had doctor send prescription 3 times. Each time the store said they never received it. Doctor sent it across the street to Tom Thumb and we had it in 30 minutes.
I called my local Walgreens so I could pick up a medicine and they said it was in stock. But they call back saying it's not in stock. So I have a child with ADD testing tomorrow without medicine. You little ** give me the medicine so my child can test with medicine so his academic records don't get messed up because of some ** company who doesn't give people the things they need to live and succeed in life. ** you all!
Horrible and incompetent pharmacy. Insurance company forces us to use AllianceRx Walgreens to order Chemo meds. Can never order online as it always says to call. Complained about it numerous times yet they fail to fix it. Called this Tuesday. Spoke with rep. Ordered chemo meds. They gave me a delivery of Friday. Friday comes. No delivery. Call on Monday. They claim they have no order placed. I told them I called. They gave me a Friday delivery and they say they have no recollection of an order. Incompetent company all around. Don't use Alliancerx Walgreens if you have a choice. They are terrible and put your life literally at stake withholding Chemotherapy Medication.
Front staff at Walgreens Pharmacy at Elmwood Ave at Rochester, NY is very rude and not professional, will never use that location again. They mock and laugh and do not help with request. Their manager dismissed complaint.
I’d like to give a commendation for Patrick (pharmacy tech). He was so friendly, personable, energetic, and friendly! He went above & beyond regarding one of my prescriptions, that was a little expensive! He wound up saving me a heap of dollars, seeing 1 of them costs over $126.00!!!! My husband was so happy, I’d thought he’d faint! Patrick was kind, approachable, and friendly! He saved me money, and I appreciate that!!!!
I purchase 2 pairs of glasses which started off with a cashier pressuring me to join their "club" for better discounts if I was willing to give up my email, cell number... I replied that I am sick of companies using my info and the senseless calls that interrupt my day. The following day I attempted to return the glasses with receipt and credit card used; however, she also wanted my driver's license. It was provided and she attempted to scan it for information which was denied. Walgreens wants your info and has no customer service skills whatsoever.
They will not return a product unless they get your info! They referred to their policy that is in very fine print and on the back of a receipt. So, I need to make a purchase in order to see the policy to return? She then said their policy is also on the front door. It was on the back of the door and only visible when exiting and again, after a purchase is made. Again, customer service was horribly arrogant. I went to CVS and they laughed. They accept returns without being laser-focused on getting your private information. They will not return my money.
Pharmacy hours are only open Mon through Friday 9-5pm. The pharmacy is NOT open on the weekends. How is that sufficient for a customer that works a daily job to pick their prescriptions after that time, it's not. Had to drive 30 minutes to pick up prescriptions for several months. One store lists open 24 hours online but that is not accurate with the store actual hours. Wait time in drive thru is at least 20 minutes. I'm not a complainer but this is disgusting. How about putting accurate store info online, not long wait lines and most importantly closing a pharmacy at 5pm and closing it over the weekends. What a joke.
I ordered a pickup order online at the Walgreens at Hwys. 54 and 55 in Durham NC. This morning. Their webpage said it would be ready in 30 minutes and that they opened at 7AM (normal business hours). I received an e-mail approximately 2 hours after placing my order (placed at 8:00 AM) saying my order has been delayed. I called the store for more info at 10:30AM. The manager (I guess) answered and simply said no employees showed up for work today, so the store is closed!! She could not give me any idea when I would be able to pick up my order. Fortunately, she was able to cancel my order. It is no wonder that Walgreens reviews are so poor.
Yesterday my doctor called in 2 prescriptions to the local Walgreens, Cambridge, MD. This am, 12:23 they called and left a message on the answering machine that they were ready. I went there at 1:30pm to pick them up and was told that one was ready and that the other would not be available until after lunch. Looking at the clock to verify the time I commented that someone had called and said that they were ready for pickup. She said that they would be available after 2:30. Now 5:09 pm and still no call that they are in fact ready.
Tried submitting the online form to consumer relations and when I hit the submit button it cleared all the responses; not once but twice. Called consumer relations and got connected to someone who said his name was Louis. Could tell right from the get go that this was going to be a waste of time and it most certainly was. As the song goes; bye, bye, so long, farewell, but I won't be seeing you in September or any other month.
The least customer focused and by far the least reliable pharmacy. DO NOT count on them to keep any appointment with their pharmacy. I had them not honor my appointment on multiple occasion. Today was the last straw where I had an appointment which I double confirmed (yesterday) and still when I showed up, they told that they are having a problem with their system and would need to reschedule my Covid appointment but they willing to give my flu shot (hmm what system problem that accepts flu shots but not Covid vaccine). They lie and they don't care.
Absolutely awful wait times, customer queues & service. Store #04730 - Mill Creek, WA. averages 15 minutes per car in the drive-through - usually 4-5 car waiting at any given time so you do the math. The average wait time at the pharmacy counter is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon calling the pharmacy, I have sat on "hold" over an 1.5 hours only to have the call dropped and having to start again. It is always blamed on staffing shortages, pandemic, excessive demand - you pick the excuse. Drug inventory shortages are becoming more prevalent due to management metrics on inventory stocking levels & associated carrying costs. The result is multiple trips to obtain a complete prescription fill.
Management is aware of these issues but unable or unwilling to do anything about it as it is easier to push the inconvenience down onto the customer. Customers vote with their $'s and feet so do yourself a favor (unless you like the abuse) and DO NOT do business with this location or Walgreens as a company, they are absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to deal with!
If you need urgent medications from your doctor, avoid this pharmacy. There are other pharmacy, like Safeway Pharmacy at Country Club, Stockton. A lot of issues about this Walgreens Pharmacy. Avoid this.
I called to refill my prescription at 3715 Mechanicville store#4488. The tech hung the phone on me. I called back to clarify my prescription request. The tech took my request and hung the phone again. She did not ask if I needed another refill and had a very poor attitude. Not really sure if my request was actually filled...
The Walgreens on 1217 are totally awesome and flawless. Especially the pharmacy. Dr. **, is one of outstanding pharmacists, who is well knowledgeable with good manners. His medicines supplies are all up to date with no shortage. And if indeed there is any out of stock, he'll get it promptly with no delay. The staff is also very friendly. Most importantly is the pharmacy's hours of operations that beats all the rest of pharmacies with long hours 7 days a week. I am so pleased to transfer all my medication to this location and will recommend it highly to each and all patients.
I have used Walgreens for 20+ years. Well it was never the gold standard of customer service, recently it has reached a new and horrible low! This July I was going on a week’s vacation. I had run out of my blood pressure meds, so used the Walgreens app to renew my prescription; I checked the app and it said my prescription was ready. Off I went to pick it up, BUT, guess what? It wasn’t ready! The pharmacy assistant told me they had to put it back because the prescription was up that day, even though I had one refill. I went on vacation without the meds, meanwhile getting a new prescription called in by my doc.
When I returned, I ordered other basic scripts on the app. When the app said they were ready, I went to pick it up. NOTHING was there, the tech told me! Worst of all, he began to lecture me as if I was the idiot here. I should do automatic refills. Then I wouldn’t get so upset! I kept trying to tell him to check the spelling of my last name. He just talked over me and kept lecturing. I finally just drove home and called the manager. She said,” oh all of them are here. He must have spelled your name wrong.”(!!!!) So in two days, I double check on the app, where it says they are all ready. Off I go again, waiting for 40 minutes (again- did I mention how long you wait at the Middleton Walgreens?!) Well guess what? Two of the scripts are not there.
This time I am lectured on how I should call ahead so I won’t “get so upset” when my supposedly ready scripts aren’t ready. I want them to look at the app on my phone so they can see how the app says they are ready- again I can’t get a word in edgewise and go home. Later on, I remember I had called and talked to the manager and she said they were all ready and on the shelf! Next my daughter goes, 4 hours later. The 2 still aren’t there! They tell her it will be an hour to fill them; she says, “No, it won’t. Fill it now!” They do, but lecture her more on calling to check they are really there. I don’t think I was all that upset, btw, no screaming, threatening or personal attack. I just tried to get them to listen to me, at one point saying, ”You just won’t listen to me!” I also wrote corporate and got a “Give us another chance. We value you as a customer.” That was before the last two events! CVS anyone?
The pharmacy staff walked off in June and I heard it was because of mandatory 16 hour days. I do not blame them. Walgreen's needs to hire more qualified people. This is a Walgreen corporate problem that is causing problems with customers and over-stresses the pharmacy staff. I suggest using another pharmacy. I plan on changing out of my Walgreens Rx plan as soon as it renews. Cannot wait to drop Walgreens.
When the staff came back, I tried to refill prescriptions, and it is obvious the understaffed situation makes it extremely difficult for the pharmacy personnel and customers wait in long lines due to mistakes made by the pharmacy. For me, they filled a prescription that I did not request, AND secondly, they did not fill the correct prescription when my medication changed. The day before I picked it up, the staff told me they would fill my new prescription but when I went to get it, the prescription was for the older medication.
I am a recent kidney transplant recipient and because of my BCBS Insurance, I am dictated to get the majority of my anti-rejection meds through Walgreens. I have had so many issues with the Pharmacy located on Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville, GA with getting medications in a timely manner. I placed an order on July 15, 2022 and since the Pharmacy had not notified me that my order was ready, I stopped by on July 18th at 9:30 a.m. to check on the script and I was told by one of their pharmacy technicians that my medicine was short filled because they didn't have enough pills in stock and the remainder of the order would be in the next day.
I actually gave them two extra days but when I didn't hear from them again, I called the pharmacy on July 22nd and was put on eternal hold and was then told that they still didn't have enough pills in stock and they would be in on today, July 25th. Still as of 10:00 p.m. tonight there has been no communication from the store. I filed a complaint with the Walgreens Corporate Complaint Hotline on Friday night and still, I haven't heard anything from the Pharmacy Manager, Store Manager nor the District Manager. These nonactions really show me what I have known for a long time that they don't care about customer service nor the health of their customers. Once again I remind you that I am a recent kidney transplant.
I've been using this pharmacy for 3 years, and the service has grown progressively worse. Delayed refills, incorrect quantities, even the wrong dosage. The past 3 months have been horrible getting refills on my maintenance medications I use every month. Today I learned Corporate is now routing all Deming refills through Phoenix, AZ, and are no longer stocking their Deming Store. Resulting in all refills taking anywhere from 10 to 14 days from the date requested for you to get your meds. Insurance will not pay if ordered early so expect to run out of your needed medications at least a week before you receive your refills. This information came straight from their pharmacy tech! I'm Done, will be changing pharmacies. DON'T USE THIS PHARMACY!
