Never order your prescription online with Walgreens. Those people are lack of experience and knowledge. You don't get a instant response from any human. I don't believe they were that too busy for responding. And also same goes to the pharmacist at Walgreens. I have to keep the cream that was not what I ordered and won't let me a refund or return. First time and will be the last with Walgreens. There's many pharmacies and online order for meds. GO ANYWHERE BUT NOT WALGREENS!! They don't even worth a star.

Walgreens Pharmacy Palm Harbor, Florida, off Alderman Road. This store is terrible. I asked them to call my pharmacy up north to get my prescription transferred, which is an easy thing to do. I filled out a form requesting that. When I called 24 hours later to speak to the pharmacy to see if it had been done yet, I was put on hold for thirty minutes and then hung up on. Then I checked with my pharmacy up north, and they hadn't been called. Then I went to the Publix Pharmacy. They called while I waited. Customer service was excellent. I found my new pharmacy.

This place is horrible. They need to close it because they don’t value their jobs or the customers. This latest experience which led me to have to go out in the rain to get my meds from the store. I get there to be lied to my face that they attempted delivery three which was a lie and they said my mom called the day before to get my meds but she’s been dead since August and the older lady showed me the delivery pkg with my mom's name on it but they wouldn’t give me that envelope. We live in two different buildings so if they attempted delivery to her no one would accept it either way but they never came.

The only reason I’m giving this a two star review is because the pharmacy tech was beyond helpful and apologetic of how rude the pharmacist was. I came in for a flu/covid test which I made an appointment for in advance. The pharmacist spoke to the tech as if I wasn’t standing right there. She said she’s going to have to wait we’re behind. The tech said, "Okay well she did make an appointment online and she was her before her time." Jennifer, the pharmacist, said, "Well it doesn’t matter. Tell her it will be 45 minutes." I said, "Okay. Well I have a busy day can I leave and come back." Again, I’m standing right in the middle of these two ladies and Jennifer is in my direct view. Jennifer says, "If she leaves and comes back she will lose her spot in line and it will be another 45 minutes. So she can do what she wants but she’ll end up waiting longer."
I have attached a photo for reference on how “swamped” the waiting area is. Before any of this even happened I was already disgusted by Jennifer’s behavior with another customer in the drive thru. She showed no discretion whatsoever. I heard her say the patients medication, why he was taking it (for a bowel obstruction and another issue I didn’t need to know about) and what he could and couldn’t do on the meds. There were three people behind me and I’m sure she was loud enough for them to hear as well. This is the exact reason I stopped coming to this Walgreens because of how unprofessional they are. I had a similar experience picking up my birth control and said never again. I will stick to CVS from here on out.

I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the incompetence and lack of care shown by the Walgreens pharmacy on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Yesterday I was released from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center after undergoing major open-heart surgery for aortic valve replacement caused by bicuspid aortic valve stenosis. The hospital sent NINE critical prescriptions to this Walgreens location before my discharge so I could begin recovery safely at home. When I arrived almost 20 hours later to pick them up, I was informed only ONE prescription was ready. The other EIGHT had not been filled because they “had to order them.” Nobody called me. Nobody warned me. Nobody attempted to transfer the prescriptions to another pharmacy. Nobody seemed to care that I had just come home from heart surgery and medically depended on these medications.
After a major cardiac operation, medications are not optional. Delays can affect pain control, blood pressure, heart rhythm stability, inflammation, clot prevention, and overall recovery. The stress this caused me during the first full day home from open-heart surgery was unbelievable. What angers me most is the complete lack of urgency and compassion. A responsible pharmacy would have contacted me immediately, searched nearby locations, transferred prescriptions, or found some emergency solution for a recovering cardiac patient. Instead, I was left standing there being told eight medications were unavailable as if it were no big deal. This pharmacy showed absolutely no concern for patient care, communication, or basic professionalism. For anyone with serious medical needs, especially post-surgical patients, I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this Walgreens location with your health.

I am advising you not to do business with Walgreens. I have pancreatic cancer and need medicine to extend my life. My doctor sent a prescription for CREON, an expensive pancreatic drug. The order was made on Monday, May 4th. I was told the pills would be ordered that day… I got a text from Walgreens the next day (5th) saying the prescription was on hold -reviewing insurance, and no action is needed. On the 6th, since I desperately need this drug, I went to the store and talked to the pharmacist. She said someone from the upper echelon at Walgreens had randomly put the drug on hold because it said the medication must be taken with food. She said it was out of her hands didn’t know when this would be resolved.
Walgreens never told me who pulled this, or how to contact them, or their qualifications to override a veteran physician. They never even contacted Blue Cross, Blue Shield of North Carolina, about the insurance or coverage. I was referred to Walgreens by BCBS of NC because they were in network, and my drug was definitely covered. A Blue Cross, Blue Shield representative tried to resolve this for me by calling the local Walgreens. She called them a bit before 12 noon and was put on hold. At 12 p.m., they said they were now closed and would have to call back after 1 p.m. So ask yourself before shopping there. “If I were terminal or someone in my family was, would I wait to pay this company a lot of money to do business?”

Consistently not having my scripts when needed. I always run out. They made a mistake on my dosage and now I can't get my meds for another 7 days. I went in yesterday to resolve the issue. I was told it would be taken care of by about 4 pm. It is now the next morning, I just called them and nothing has been done to resolve the issue. This is just one account of problems with them and my prescriptions. Unfortunately there's not another place to get my meds due to my insurance company. Please fix the problems at the Greenville Michigan location. I can not go without my meds all the time because of their mistakes.

Very disappointed with my service at the pharmacy, or I should say lack of service because I did not receive any! I waited in line for 5 to 10 minutes while the pharmacist tech and pharmacist had a lengthy conversation about an airline going out of business! I was completely ignored while waiting at the counter for help. After 5 to 10 minutes standing there, a woman walks straight up in front of me and the pharmacy tech came over and helped her, even though I had been standing in line and I know she had seen me waiting there, while carrying on her conversation. Completely disgusted at the service will be taking my prescriptions and business elsewhere!! Avoid at all costs 13130 Dale Mabry, Tampa Fl.

Most reviews tend to come from frustration, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize a truly great experience. Prescriptions can be complicated, with a lot of moving parts, and it’s easy for things to fall through the cracks. That’s why I really appreciated the help I received from ** at the Walgreens on 137th Ave and 153rd Street in Miami. Instead of giving a routine answer or sending me elsewhere, she went out of her way to find a solution. She took the time, made the effort, and genuinely cared about helping me—not just completing a transaction.
What stood out the most is that she didn’t just “do her job”—she went above and beyond, even helping me explore the best options available, regardless of location. That level of service is rare. Walgreens should recognize employees like **—she sets the standard for what customer service should look like. Thank you, **. Your effort did not go unnoticed, and it’s truly appreciated.

On a recent request to refill a prescription using GoodRX, the price that the pharmacy quoted me was almost three times more than the coupon I saw online. I asked one person why and they told me that I would have to call GoodRx. I called back in another day and the second person that I spoke with did not give me an answer that made sense to me. I got the feeling that they were both just wanted to get me off of the phone. I understand that it may have been busy, so if that was the case they could told me they would research the matter and call me back. I would up having the prescription transferred and as a result I saved more than $80 dollars.

1 star is the lowest that is allowed but is still higher than they deserve. Prescriptions are always delayed, I'm not sure if is because of upper management or poor department managers. I am now waiting for the 8th day for my prescriptions.

I went in to Walgreens this morning looking for Memory Support by Walgreens, since I knew what the package looked like I went up and down the vitamin aisle twice not finding it. Sue, a pharmacy tech came up and asked what I was looking for and joined the search. We both went up and down the aisle not finding it. Sue brought out her phone and could not locate them (must have been discontinued last month after I bought 4 boxes for the ladies at the retirement home). She was so very nice, helpful and apologetic (I didn't she should apologize for something she has no control over). I would give more stars if I could.

For over 30 years, I have been happy with my Walgreens at 8000 Lake Underhill, Orlando, but I have to say when I went yesterday, it was close to lunch and I knew there would be a line of cars but I had to get my prescriptions. I was prepared for a long wait. Luckily, I was the 4th car in line so I thought, ok, not bad a half hour maybe. Happily, it was less than 10 minutes, and the young man at the counter was so good, in TWO minutes of driving up to the window, he handed me my prescriptions. He is pleasant but mostly fast and efficient. It was like watching a commercial in fast forward. I really appreciated not having to wait long. It was great to see Walgreens having such hard-working people to take care of their customers who need their medicine.

I have been with Walgreens-Arleta for years (my mistake for sticking with them that long!). Usual problem I have with them is… I have to wait for certain medications to get ready because they’re always out of stock (every month!). Messes up my pick up schedule (every month!). I have to do several pick ups instead of one per month. Delivery is not an option for me because they just leave meds wherever and get lost in our apartment building. The other complaint I have is, the Walgreens app says my meds are ready.
So, I go the following day and three of my meds are suddenly cancelled. I asked the pharmacy and they don’t know why. Another experience with them… they filled the same medications twice. My husband picked up my meds that time and didn’t notice. So, when I tried to return one of the same meds, they said I can’t return it, that I should have returned it the same day. They messed up, but I insisted they accept the return or things will get ugly. So, they did. My stress level with this pharmacy is to the roof. Now, I’m shopping for another pharmacy. God help me!

My Husband and I have used the Hoover Walgreens for six years with acceptable prescriptions filled in timely manner. Both written prescriptions and the electrically sent prescriptions. More recently however the situation is not good. My husband had shoulder surgery Monday April 13th. My son in law took the paper prescription mid afternoon to Walgreens and was told that it would be about 30 minutes to an hour to be filled. (oxycodone). In about two hours my family member went to pick up the pain prescription
During this time (Later that afternoon) we received a phone call from a pharmacy Tech telling us that the Walgreens did not have the medication and they could order it and get it on Wednesday April 15. (My husband is using pain medication from his December hip surgery). I go to Walgreens today 11:15 and am told that the medication has been filled but I cannot get it because they do not have the "hard" copy, they will look for it and call me later today. NOW this will require a fourth trip to Walgreens. This in not right. This is not acceptable. This is not professional. I notice much change in the staff, much confusion and a general atmosphere that this Pharmacy is overwhelmed.

Doc called in script. Clerk said they didn’t get it. Then said it was under a 10-year-old address in another state. They wouldn’t remove the old “account.” Then they claimed insurance wouldn’t cover, but when I returned with them on the phone, they said they didn’t have the brand. When the insurance company and I said any brand would do, the pharmacist claimed state law prevented her from filling the script that described the medication as x mg of x drug, instead of stating the brand. Exasperated, I asked them to delete my data from their database, and they refused, claiming that only “corporate” could do that. “Corporate” then on the phone read me the old address and then said they didn’t have any records of me in their database. Huh? These people are insane.

The worst!! Most rude employees I've ever encountered. They need an entire new pharmacy staff...

I’ve been a loyal Walgreens customer my entire life—my parents filled my prescriptions here when I was a kid, and I’ve continued that loyalty as an adult. After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I’m honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods—over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on.
When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had “no idea” what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused—not because no one was available, but simply because she didn’t want to. She also said she couldn’t help because it was “late,” even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on.
She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn’t check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn’t look into the delay, and wouldn’t offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful “no problem” after providing absolutely no assistance.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I’ve trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way—especially when they’re relying on a time-sensitive prescription.

My husband gets the same prescription every month and every month it's a nightmare getting the prescription filled. Either they are out of stock, they need to know why he's taking the medication, refuse to fill the script as written or it's "pending" with no time frame on when it will be ready. RIGHT NOW I'm sitting in a Walgreens pharmacy waiting OVER AN HOUR for my husband's prescription and the cashier's attitude was very flippant towards me when I said I needed to wait for it. I am writing to share my concerns regarding the pharmacy service at the Walgreens location on 33rd and Boulevard in Edmond, Oklahoma. Unfortunately, the level of customer service at this location has been consistently disappointing. It is extremely difficult to reach the pharmacy by phone, as calls often go unanswered. Additionally, many patients report ongoing issues with their prescriptions not being ready upon arrival, despite prior confirmation or reasonable processing time. This leads to unnecessary delays and frustration, especially for those in need of timely medication.
Equally concerning is the manner in which patients are treated. Interactions are often perceived as unresponsive, discourteous, and at times even hostile. This is not the level of care and professionalism that patients expect or deserve from a healthcare service provider. As a physician who regularly prescribes medications, I have received repeated negative feedback from my patients regarding this location. Due to these ongoing issues, I have felt compelled to advise patients to consider alternative pharmacies to ensure better service and reliability. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements in both customer service and prescription management at this location.

Walgreens Park Avenue, Grand Junction. There is little resolution in writing a review. Nothing changes. But I will write this for my own satisfaction. I started using the pharmacy from Walgreens on Park avenue when my daughter worked there. It was 7 years ago. I get one script filled there, all my other scripts are sent somewhere else. They are the worst. They have closed for days at a time with little warning in the middle of my script being filled because they did not have a pharmacist. They have changed their hours without warning, sometimes being closed on the weekends. The list goes on.
My doctor writes my medication so that I have a large bottle that lasts 3 months and costs about 55 dollars. When I went to get my refill today the price was 133 dollars. I tried to haggle with them but they said that was the price. When they handed me my script there were 10 little bottles in the bag, that cost WAY more. They never informed me they were making a change. I don't know how they can do this. It is not what my doctor wrote as the script. I will have to jump through some hoops with my doc to get my scripts sent somewhere else. If I have my way I will NEVER use this horrible place again. My daughter said it was the most dysfunctional place she ever worked.

After that, I have been put on new meds, change meds increase/decrease doses, so I make a point to call to make sure to check on them. They are playing a game with my phone where they pick up my call, laugh on the phone, put me back on hold and do it again and again. Who does that? When I call from my husband's phone I finally got someone. Still they did nothing to get my new meds. My husband ended paying for it (I do have insurance). The joke? I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Walgreens store on Covington Highway on Saturday, February 21, at approximately noon. Despite visiting this store over 10 times in the past decade, I have never had a more unpleasant experience. Upon entering, I noticed a lengthy queue, which I was willing to accommodate as I was there to use the Western Union service. However, I was disturbed by the interaction between a manager and an elderly customer at the register. The manager was dismissive and rude, directing the customer to check the pharmacy without offering assistance or resolving the issue. Notably, the manager repeatedly stated that she was the only one working on the floor, implying that the customers were somehow responsible for the lack of staffing.
When it was my turn to use the Western Union service, I greeted the manager with a courteous 'good afternoon' and asked for assistance. Unfortunately, she did not respond, and I had to prompt her to acknowledge my greeting. Due to an issue with my identification, I offered to use my passport, which she initially accepted but then refused, claiming she couldn't proceed with the transaction. After contacting Western Union, I was informed that my passport was a valid form of identification, and the transaction could have been completed. Given the poor service I experienced, I believe Walgreens should review the incident and provide additional training to the manager in question, particularly in customer service and conflict resolution.

Walgreens is not a better pharmacy. My entire family hates it hates it. I hate the people because they're disgustingly rude. I hate being on the phone ordering my medicine and it never gets done and then I get excuses excuses excuses as to why they don't do their damn job. I have to get a ride up to the pharmacy to get my medicine and they tell me like today I called it in yesterday and I was supposed to get my medicine today but do you think they got it done. No. Now their recording is telling me Monday when it was supposed to be today. Thank you for nothing Walgreens. You suck. You absolutely are the worst company I have ever dealt with and because of it I'm leaving. I am going to go to your competitor Costco pharmacy where I don't have to deal with foreigners at the cash register or idiots that don't speak English and think they can treat people like crap.
Sorry but you suck and you will always suck. I won't spend another damn dime at your store. I would rather starve not take my medicine and die. I would rather die than go back to your pharmacy. Understand that. You suck. You are absolutely the worst damn company I've ever dealt with. So thank you Walgreens for being the worst company in Washington State. Why because you're probably run by democrats. That's the problem.
