I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Clermont, Florida store on Bloxham Road, specifically at the pharmacy drive-through window. During my visit, I was assisted by a pharmacy technician named Azaria. Unfortunately, her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. She repeatedly rolled her eyes and displayed a sarcastic attitude, making me feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply by asking for assistance. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially in a pharmacy setting where professionalism and customer care are essential. I would strongly encourage management to review any available drive-through video footage from the time of my visit. Her body language and overall demeanor were clearly unprofessional and did not reflect the level of customer service that should be expected from a member of your pharmacy team.

What makes this experience even more concerning is that I was informed that I was not the first person to complain about her behavior. Knowing that previous complaints have apparently not resulted in any improvement is both frustrating and disappointing. The continued lack of professionalism and concern for customers reflects poorly on the pharmacy and the store as a whole.

I have been a loyal customer of this location for years and have always had positive experiences until now. That is why this encounter was particularly shocking and upsetting. It also makes me concerned for other customers who may have had, or will have, similar experiences. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue so that all customers are treated with the dignity, respect, and professionalism they deserve. My intention is not simply to complain, but to bring attention to a customer service issue that should be corrected before more customers experience the same level of disrespect.

I’ve been a customer at Walgreens in Whitman MA for a while now. I almost died from long Covid, was in a coma, now I have brain damage and other Ailments. I have been fighting with this Walgreens for a long time, even called corporate and talked to store manager and nobody cares about getting my meds on time. So the week of May 25 I called in my meds and got the run around for my medicine I need for my head because of my brain damage. Saturday came around and I finally had.

All this store does is lie and lie and does not give a damn about their customers. So I called Cvs and they took over. They transferred all my meds that day and in one hour I had my medicine I needed. That is amazing so me and my wife have decided all the stress and aggravated times because I suffer from ptsd also they had me stressed out for along didn’t know if I was going to get my meds that month or we are looking so me and my decided to contact a lawyer because that pharmacy should be closed. They should not be messing with people's medicine. Someone will get seriously sick or die one because corporate doesn’t want to do anything about the people in this pharmacy and we are not the only people that feel this way **

I hate Walgreens. They’re slow, they’re rude, they screw orders up. The mobile app seemed like it would be better, but the people who get the alerts from the app screw things up. I feel trapped because HEB for some reason, isn't accepted at my insurance carrier. But I hate Walgreens so much I’m transferring all of my medications to HEB and will pay out of pocket for convenience.

1 Star. I have been a customer of Walgreens Pharmacy on Roosevelt Road in Lombard for years, and my recent experiences have been beyond disappointing. I am a Type 1 diabetic who relies on insulin to survive. I called in my insulin refill on May 22, 2026, and was told it would be available on May 25. After hearing nothing, I received an automated call on May 27 stating they were still working on the refill and would contact me when it was ready.

Then, on May 29—an entire week after I originally requested the refill—I finally received a call from a pharmacist who informed me that Walgreens no longer carries my insulin (Aspart) and that it had been discontinued. As a diabetic, waiting a full week to be told that my medication could not be filled is completely unacceptable. Why wasn't I notified immediately so I could contact my doctor or find another pharmacy? Delays involving life-sustaining medication can have serious consequences.

This is not the first serious issue I have experienced at this location. On a previous visit, I picked up my prescription and later discovered that Walgreens had placed another customer's medication in my bag. The prescription contained the other patient's personal information. When I contacted Walgreens to report their mistake, I was shocked by the response I received. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the error, I was criticized for contacting the patient whose medication had been mistakenly given to me.

Giving one customer's medication to another customer is a major pharmacy error and raises serious concerns about patient safety, privacy, and quality control. Between the lack of communication regarding critical medications and the careless handling of prescriptions, I have lost confidence in this pharmacy. Patients deserve accurate information, timely communication, and confidence that their medications are being handled properly. Unfortunately, I have not received that level of service from this Walgreens located in Lombard, IL 60148 near Roosevelt Rd.

Walgreens in Pensacola at Mobile hwy and Fairfield is horrible. They constantly lie and blame the doctor's office of not sending over the prescription. They are constantly out of medicine and can only partially fill a prescription. They will double and triple charge when you return to get the meds they didn't have, calling it a refill. For example, Doctor writes for 90 pills, Walgreens only give you 30. You pay for full prescription. You go back when they have more in stock, give you 60 and charge for full prescription again. I called my Doctor while waiting in line after they said the doctor's office didn't send prescriptions. The clerk demanded that I get out of line and refused to talk to the doctor's office. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS TO WALGREENS.

The Wagreen’s at NW Expressway and Council is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. I called on a refill that they did not fill as promised, and waited on hold for 9:30 minutes before the phone system hung up on me. I called back, waited 13:00 and was hung up on again. I physically went to the pharmacy and explained how upset I was and that I was going to move all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I asked if they could get the RX ready for me, and the clerk said, “I thought you were moving all of your prescriptions.” I called her a **, rightly so, and clerk number two said I needed to not call people names. This place deserves to go out of business, and likely will.

But unfortunately every time is worst the service on the Pharmacy area. Not nice or empathy plus always need wait. More and more. Yesterday confirmed ready for pick after 1.5pm but don't care. We arrived almost 2pm and need wait until 3:01pm. Waste our work time there. I love Walgreens we used for last 12 years in Orlando and last 6 here on St petersburg but really think move to another provider may be soon. Is like nobody take care about nothing, service quality or value of customer time.

I am currently waiting for my Wife’s prescriptions to run their course at the Whitman, MA Walgreens, and I have transferred all my prescriptions to the Walgreens pharmacy on Main Street in Brockton because of the poor service, wrong medication and also someone else’s name on my wife’s prescription, and I didn’t realize it until I got home. The Pharmacy in Brockton is so much better but unfortunately, it’s a longer drive. The people at Whitman Pharmacy have been rude at times to people, while I have waited in line for a long time I-might ad and it also seems to be a gossip factory by disgruntled workers. I’m sure there are some good people there but the store and the Pharmacy are poorly run.

Plus, all of their Pharmacies are now closed on Sundays, which means I may change to a different franchise. It seems Walgreens is possibly on its way out, I could be wrong, but if you look at the parking lot at Walgreens and the parking lot at CVS, you can clearly see who is carrying more business. I am surprised that Corporate has not seen the countless reviews of disgruntled customers, and that something has not been done by public relations staff. I have gone to Walgreens for years because of the insurance money savings for going to their Pharmacy. But I think it’s time for a change. Sad. What happened to you WALGREENS? You used to be a good store!

Walgreens Pharmacy Palm Harbor, Florida, off Alderman Road. This store is terrible. I asked them to call my pharmacy up north to get my prescription transferred, which is an easy thing to do. I filled out a form requesting that. When I called 24 hours later to speak to the pharmacy to see if it had been done yet, I was put on hold for thirty minutes and then hung up on. Then I checked with my pharmacy up north, and they hadn't been called. Then I went to the Publix Pharmacy. They called while I waited. Customer service was excellent. I found my new pharmacy.

The only reason I’m giving this a two star review is because the pharmacy tech was beyond helpful and apologetic of how rude the pharmacist was. I came in for a flu/covid test which I made an appointment for in advance. The pharmacist spoke to the tech as if I wasn’t standing right there. She said she’s going to have to wait we’re behind. The tech said, "Okay well she did make an appointment online and she was her before her time." Jennifer, the pharmacist, said, "Well it doesn’t matter. Tell her it will be 45 minutes." I said, "Okay. Well I have a busy day can I leave and come back." Again, I’m standing right in the middle of these two ladies and Jennifer is in my direct view. Jennifer says, "If she leaves and comes back she will lose her spot in line and it will be another 45 minutes. So she can do what she wants but she’ll end up waiting longer."

I have attached a photo for reference on how “swamped” the waiting area is. Before any of this even happened I was already disgusted by Jennifer’s behavior with another customer in the drive thru. She showed no discretion whatsoever. I heard her say the patients medication, why he was taking it (for a bowel obstruction and another issue I didn’t need to know about) and what he could and couldn’t do on the meds. There were three people behind me and I’m sure she was loud enough for them to hear as well. This is the exact reason I stopped coming to this Walgreens because of how unprofessional they are. I had a similar experience picking up my birth control and said never again. I will stick to CVS from here on out.

I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the incompetence and lack of care shown by the Walgreens pharmacy on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Yesterday I was released from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center after undergoing major open-heart surgery for aortic valve replacement caused by bicuspid aortic valve stenosis. The hospital sent NINE critical prescriptions to this Walgreens location before my discharge so I could begin recovery safely at home. When I arrived almost 20 hours later to pick them up, I was informed only ONE prescription was ready. The other EIGHT had not been filled because they “had to order them.” Nobody called me. Nobody warned me. Nobody attempted to transfer the prescriptions to another pharmacy. Nobody seemed to care that I had just come home from heart surgery and medically depended on these medications.

After a major cardiac operation, medications are not optional. Delays can affect pain control, blood pressure, heart rhythm stability, inflammation, clot prevention, and overall recovery. The stress this caused me during the first full day home from open-heart surgery was unbelievable. What angers me most is the complete lack of urgency and compassion. A responsible pharmacy would have contacted me immediately, searched nearby locations, transferred prescriptions, or found some emergency solution for a recovering cardiac patient. Instead, I was left standing there being told eight medications were unavailable as if it were no big deal. This pharmacy showed absolutely no concern for patient care, communication, or basic professionalism. For anyone with serious medical needs, especially post-surgical patients, I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this Walgreens location with your health.

I am advising you not to do business with Walgreens. I have pancreatic cancer and need medicine to extend my life. My doctor sent a prescription for CREON, an expensive pancreatic drug. The order was made on Monday, May 4th. I was told the pills would be ordered that day… I got a text from Walgreens the next day (5th) saying the prescription was on hold -reviewing insurance, and no action is needed. On the 6th, since I desperately need this drug, I went to the store and talked to the pharmacist. She said someone from the upper echelon at Walgreens had randomly put the drug on hold because it said the medication must be taken with food. She said it was out of her hands didn’t know when this would be resolved.

Walgreens never told me who pulled this, or how to contact them, or their qualifications to override a veteran physician. They never even contacted Blue Cross, Blue Shield of North Carolina, about the insurance or coverage. I was referred to Walgreens by BCBS of NC because they were in network, and my drug was definitely covered. A Blue Cross, Blue Shield representative tried to resolve this for me by calling the local Walgreens. She called them a bit before 12 noon and was put on hold. At 12 p.m., they said they were now closed and would have to call back after 1 p.m. So ask yourself before shopping there. “If I were terminal or someone in my family was, would I wait to pay this company a lot of money to do business?”

I was completely ignored while waiting at the counter for help. After 5 to 10 minutes standing there, a woman walks straight up in front of me and the pharmacy tech came over and helped her, even though I had been standing in line and I know she had seen me waiting there, while carrying on her conversation. I have been with Walgreens-Arleta for years (my mistake for sticking with them that long!). Usual problem I have with them is… I have to wait for certain medications to get ready because they’re always out of stock (every month!). Messes up my pick up schedule (every month!). I have to do several pick ups instead of one per month. Delivery is not an option for me because they just leave meds wherever and get lost in our apartment building. The other complaint I have is, the Walgreens app says my meds are ready.

So, I go the following day and three of my meds are suddenly cancelled. I asked the pharmacy and they don’t know why. Another experience with them… they filled the same medications twice. My husband picked up my meds that time and didn’t notice. So, when I tried to return one of the same meds, they said I can’t return it, that I should have returned it the same day. They messed up, but I insisted they accept the return or things will get ugly. So, they did. My stress level with this pharmacy is to the roof. Now, I’m shopping for another pharmacy. God help me!

My son in law took the paper prescription mid afternoon to Walgreens and was told that it would be about 30 minutes to an hour to be filled. (oxycodone). In about two hours my family member went to pick up the pain prescription

During this time (Later that afternoon) we received a phone call from a pharmacy Tech telling us that the Walgreens did not have the medication and they could order it and get it on Wednesday April 15. (My husband is using pain medication from his December hip surgery). I go to Walgreens today 11:15 and am told that the medication has been filled but I cannot get it because they do not have the "hard" copy, they will look for it and call me later today. NOW this will require a fourth trip to Walgreens. This in not right. This is not acceptable. This is not professional. When the insurance company and I said any brand would do, the pharmacist claimed state law prevented her from filling the script that described the medication as x mg of x drug, instead of stating the brand. Exasperated, I asked them to delete my data from their database, and they refused, claiming that only “corporate” could do that. “Corporate” then on the phone read me the old address and then said they didn’t have any records of me in their database. I’ve been a loyal Walgreens customer my entire life—my parents filled my prescriptions here when I was a kid, and I’ve continued that loyalty as an adult. After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I’m honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods—over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on.

When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had “no idea” what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused—not because no one was available, but simply because she didn’t want to. She also said she couldn’t help because it was “late,” even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on.

She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn’t check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn’t look into the delay, and wouldn’t offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful “no problem” after providing absolutely no assistance.

This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I’ve trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way—especially when they’re relying on a time-sensitive prescription.
