Was very happy from start to end. The entire staff made was great and the service tech during the install delivered great customer service by respecting our time, respecting us as customer and property. The antenna was installed properly and professionally. No issues so far. Only during storms we lose signal but now is good.

Hughes Net was great to deal with. Excellent customer service and great response time. They had some to my camp in 3 days to hook up landlines and internet. The techs that came to do the installation were very nice and accommodating. They did their job very professional like. Very neat and fast.

The technician was very helpful and stayed well past 6pm to get the job done and went out in practically a blizzard to put up the dish. Great service except did leave telephone wires that we did not need and an old drill bit but overall good service.

The installer was very friendly and explained everything he had done and answered all my questions. We're very pleased with Hughes Internet service and the price is very affordable. We live in the foothill area and need a reliable internet for our service.

The free installation was excellent. The technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. I’m a little disappointed in the speed of the internet compared to Dish. I thought it’d be faster. Turns out we just get more of it but it’s still slow!

Our internet does not support the live streaming of our TV. We were told by the salesman that it would support our current usage. It freezes frequently. When we reached out to customer service, we were sent to a second technician to address the quality. The second technician was very rude and told us it would cost additional dollars to get them to trouble our system. We are very dissatisfied with the service and do not believe we should have to pay more to receive equivalent quality of service to our previous provider.

The Wi-Fi and internet is average at best. Cannot stream Netflix or other streaming apps without interruption. Always rebooting, and slow speeds. If there is another service provider that is not satellite, would definitely get that service. Unfortunately not that many choices. I do not recommend if you have a choice.

We are very dissatisfied with the service since day one. When we perform a speed test it shows around 30-36 download speeds but in watching a YouTube video it pauses continually. We have had numerous calls with customer service with many adjustments made to the router but it remains very slow. We are very dissatisfied and are considering having it removed and canceling the service.

I am in a tough Signal area with several competitive attempts that failed. This is working very well with great picture quality day and night.. Service was on time, monitors were explained and cleanup was performed. I have no issues. Guests are very impressed.

Hughes is the worst ever in my 50 years. They over promise, and the customer support is even worse. I could never get their internet service to work correctly, and after a year of attempting to fix, I gave up and cancelled. They proceeded to charge me almost $400 for cancelation early even though there was plenty of documentation to no service provided.

Cannot watch youtube. Cannot work at home as internet speed like dial up. TV works ok, but going outside of TV trying to view NetFlix and YouTube or logging into my work through Hughes is a tad better than dial up. Wish I had gotten a Verizon Hot Spot.

Used ViaSat for a year. $165 a month for a service that was subpar, never worked during the day, constant buffering and wouldn’t even load a thumbnail on YouTube. HughesNet has been much more affordable, reliable and faster, with accurate data usage. Funny how with ViaSat we would go over our “unlimited” data in the first week of use, not now and are doing nothing differently. Should have switched a long time ago!

I can not understand those from Tywin, Mexico or South America phone operators. They do not complete the info back to the USA. They also said they could not transfer me to the USA so I could complete my business. The equipment installation went fast and done right.

My husband works from home at this time and sometimes the internet service is so slow he can not connect to what he has to do. Is there a way you can improve the reception? It just isn’t as good as what we thought it would be. Value wise.

Slow to load pages, attachments videos, this equipment is installed at my second residence at **. Not only are the download and upload very slow on my laptop. Video streaming on my smart TV or iPhone 5 is totally useless. Will not stream. The system does not work as promised. It is no better than the Frontier DSL that I got rid of.

Slow connectivity and download speed. Many times the internet disconnects and has to switch from 2g to 5g or visa versa. Matter of fact when I tried to send this message the connection was lost x2. We only got HughesNet because there were no other internet service available.

Download speeds are nothing like we was told. The app I downloaded on my phone is terrible. First day of our new billing cycle it showed we had used 11% of our not so high speed internet. Now I’m stuck in a 2 year contract with this very poor service.

Buffering frequently when trying to watch a movie on prime video. It doesn't happen when watching Netflix. I have nothing else using WiFi. What's the problem? I need help with this problem. Why is this happening. I don't have any else on using WiFi. Could you guys help me with this problem. That's why the low rating. Fix this and I will give you a higher rating. Ever since we have voice phone there have been problems. I have called several times to get it fixed. Right now we can not call or receive any calls. We do have a dial tone, but then it immediately says our internet may be out. That is not the problem as we do have internet. So please look into this and FIX it.

Salesperson pressured me to buy services and capacity that I did not want. Then at the end when he read our "deal", he snuck in an unwanted and unmentioned service for McAfee Web Security. Then I received a bank charge for $2.43 on 12/23/2021 unexplained and unauthorized. Furthermore, the service is slow and inadequate. I will recommend HughesNet's competitors to others. My dumb mistake.

In and out of service always and it's not unlimited for the cost. And it run out too fast for kids that in school for they work and it don't connect to any of they school computer. I think the Hughes is for someone who dont have kids in school and etc.

I am disappointed in the quality of internet service we receive from HughesNet. The connection speed is too slow. Videos are fuzzy and constantly loading. With the funds that the federal government has given to internet companies to enhance coverage to rural areas there should be better access than this.

More than double the price of CenturyLink...much slower internet service....and misinformed re former land line number porting. I wasn't informed that I'd need an extra satellite dish installed. Overall if I had to do it again I would never choose Hughesnet.

We were told the service would be fast and accurate and to be honest it’s about the same as our other service. It also has buffering which is so annoying for the price and all that we were told with the initial set up over the phone with one of your people. We’re not getting our money's worth.

Have not used it enough to know if I would recommend Hughes Net to anyone or not. What I have used I like. The only phone problem I have is when someone I'm calling answers they cannot hear me for several seconds. It get very frustrating.

Was trying to get help from Service. Cable install is TOO SHORT!!! Need about 8’ more slack to reach house. No one ever returns my calls or gets back to me. I don’t know what else to do. The service itself is fine. Just cables come out of ground 8 ft short of side of house.

The internet service at my residence is poor and very slow as far as the service that you provide is not good for the area that I live in. Very poor download speed and upload speed are not great as to what I’m use to and where I live. I need great internet service so I can receive my fire calls and lately I have to rely on my fire department radio to get my calls.

There are days that some programs won't even open. My husband works from home and has difficulty doing his job. Would not recommend HughesNet. We are sorry that we even signed up for this. Would have preferred a faster service.

I had problems with static on my phone, slow internet loading, and Netflix signal kept dropping and restarting. I contacted HughesNet multiple times and they were not able to resolve the problems. I switched back to Xfinity and all the problems disappeared.

I sent an email, I called 8 times and the call was dropped every time after I went through the menu to reach a person and I never spoke to anyone. I have yet to be able to talk with someone about my issue with my service. I am considering canceling. If this is how 2 years with you is going to be....no thank you.

Streaming anything is a joke. We let the installer take the easy route installing the router in our bedroom. Had to add a $100 booster to get any service in the other end of the house. Service is still not good.

Living in a rural area, internet is limited. Hughes provides it with good service. Exceptional customer service, appointments met as scheduled, online billing capabilities and they strive for good customer relations. Tech took the time to fully explain installation process and made sure all questions were answered.

Too much buffering. It buffers every 30-45 seconds. This takes away from the quality of the product. It is very aggravating to watch a program and the buffering starts. I am open for suggestions on how to eliminate or greatly reduce this action.

We’ve had HughesNet for about a month and I’ve used my phone hotspot more because the satellite internet is so slow. It sometimes won’t even load enough to use at all. I wouldn’t have signed up if I knew it was going to be this slow.

30 GB of data only gets about 20 (or less) episodes of TV shows/movies on streaming or on demand services. And it only downloads well during daytime hours. In the evening the download speed drops down to 1.75 megabits which makes it impossible to watch on demand on DISH. This is before you run out of data 2 weeks into the month and have to purchase more "data tokens" in order to use your Roku. I am very disappointed. The wifi speed is slow for my laptop too. Lots of buffering on both streaming and computer work. I am going to have to purchase a cellular hotspot in order to watch streaming services every night. I am not happy!!

HUGHES NET. I am a new customer and sad to see Consolidated Communications was not able to continue to service our area after our renters left our home. Unfortunately, for me and I am sure several other unhappy customers, they are the only option. We had better customer and internet service on a remote island in Alaska!! The issues below are STILL unresolved after 2 ½ months, since establishing with Hughes. We established service for internet in early October 2021. Since then, Hughes has been HORRIBLE to work with. Poor customer service, sloppy work, unreturned calls and poor internet service. I have spent more than 40 hours trying to have Hughes and their installer COLD River Communications) do the right thing. Hopefully this will save someone else the headache we have gone through.
We had equipment installed on 10/21/2021. The installer was Ethan from Cold River Communications. (I would highly suggest not working with them due to their poor, sloppy, and unprofessional work ethic). The equipment was not installed in the correct place. I was unable to go outside and check their work as I had a severe ankle break. My fiancé came home and said it was not installed where we wanted it, as it was in direct view of the water out our window. Called Hughes Net again to schedule a tech to install in the correct place, as he did not check with us the first time.
10/28/21 He came and moved the satellite to where my fiancé wanted it installed. Issues: 8 ft cable not buried- This is a safety risk. Old cement from improper install and bucket he borrowed thrown on lawn. Cable from satellite had 1 zip tie- blowing/flapping in wind. This is an example of sloppy and lazy work, reflecting on his company as well as Hughes net. Unprofessional. As I have an ankle injury, I was not able to go outside and make sure the work was done neatly and correctly. Called Hughes again to have this issue made right. Per my request, I did not want the same install tech. I was unaware that this company is owned and run by 2 brothers. (Conflict of interest).
11/19/2021, Ethan’s Brother Zach arrived to clean up their mess and bury the 8 ft of cord that was exposed. Only the cord was buried, cement and bucket left on my lawn, cable from satellite to base still not secured. Wire thrown against my house. 11/12/21 Spoke to Customer service-Tesha. I found I was charged $125 for this corrected re-install. I should not have been charged as this was done within 30 days of being a new customer. 2 case numbers for this call: **. We told Tesha of our issue and she escalated this to the Post Install Dept. and said someone would get back to us within 3 days. I happened to miss these calls as I was unable to get to the phone quick enough, however I called back the number left on my voice mail and got a customer service tech in another country. As no one contacted me from Post Install, I again had to follow up again with Hughes Net.
11/16/21 spoke to Reuben was this case escalated again. I was told someone would contact me within 24H. NO one called me back. 11/17/21 Spoke with Teres **. Stated he would transfer me to Post Install. He did not, I was transferred to another customer service tech, named Stephanie. She stated she would re-escalate this case, “re-opening it” I was told someone from Post Install would contact me within 3-5 days. No one did.
11/21/21 Spoke with Janella in South America. Case # **. Asked Janella to read back our complaint, she refused to verify. I was transferred to a supervisor. I was told my case was not documented correctly. 11/21/21 Called back spoke to Ceasar in Mexico. Case # **. Was told I would be charged $125 to bury the 8 ft of cable. Transferred to supervisor, Van. Was given credit for $125 (should have been no charge as it was within 30 days of establishing with this horrible company). This same issue again re-escalated and forwarded to Post Install. Please not that a customer is unable to contact Post Install directly. Was told they would contact me within 2-3days. They again, did not.
11/25/21 called 5 times in order to get someone in the US. Spoke to Sally Jo in AZ. Stated nothing was written under one of the previous case numbers. Case # **. Transferred to another supervisor-Eric **. Informed me that Cold River is run by 2 brothers. Told me to call this company in regard to this complaint, if no one returned my call that Hughes net would step in and reach out to the distributor and resolve this issue. Eric stated he would follow up by the next Sun/Mon. He did not follow up.
12/06/21 Spoke to Chris in TX. Case Re-escalated again. Told I would receive a call from Post Install within 3-5 days. No call back. Transferred to Angel, another supervisor. On hold a very long time, with no updates. I was left hanging. Was told Case # ** was not escalated correctly (Veronica 11/14/21). He stated he got his manager involved. No follow up call from Post Install.
12/10/21 Spoke to Denitra. The supervisor did want to speak to me, however, I insisted. I was told there was nothing she could do. I was told a Manager would call me back within 4 hrs. No follow up call. 12/10/2021 Spoke to Pamela as I did not get a call back when I was told I would. Case # **. Transferred to supervisor in Mexico. Named Jessie. She was very patronizing and argumentive and I was told management does not get involved with issues that have not been resolved and that management is for administrative issues. Placed alert on case. Stated I would receive a call by mon. as that would be the 5th day. No follow up call.
12/14/21 Spoke with Bachus South America. Case # **. Told nothing could be done. Transferred to supervisor, named Veronica. Condescending, spoke over me, did not listen. Case re-escalated. Stated she would follow up Thursday. Stated she emailed Sergio in Post Install and someone would get back to me within 3 days. She ended up being understanding.
12/16/21 Raina **- Supervisor of Post Install finally followed up. She sent request that Cold River Communications follow up with me. Stated a report was made to distributor in regard to complaints of poor, sloppy work. Was not able to tell me who the distributor is. Told her that No one from post install has followed up with me for 2 months in regard to a problem that could have been fixed within 20 minutes by the Post Install tech if the job was done professionally and correctly from the start. Stated that she or Vincent (supervisors of Post Install) would follow up with me. Within the week. Again, no one has called me back like they said they would. This issue is still unresolved.

Compared to my local provider, the Hughes installation was a work of art - miles apart on craftsmanship. The internet from Hughes is great, and it just works. The speed is better and everything was done cleanly.

When I signed up for HughesNet, I spoke to a rep regarding the monthly time I would receive each month on our 10 gig plan for streaming service. I was told that would give me about 120 - 140 hours per month. I later learned through several sources that is flat out false! I will receive about 1 hour per gig each month. In other words 10 hours per month of streaming service. It is very disappointing that I was given false information.

Both the installation and the follow-up technician's service was great! The satellite became mis-aligned but the service agent as well as the technician who came out to re-align it were very professional. Unlike other internet companies, I felt like Hughesnet wanted to help. Very nice.

Installation was perfect, but speed of connection and reliability of connection is like dial-up. I would think a satellite signal would be more dependable. My previous provider through a cable network was in fact much faster! My connection fails frequently for example while trying to complete your survey.

The tech was very good and anxious to work with me to minimize any damage/disturbance to our new house while installing the unit. He helped in making certain the indoor unit and its wiring could be hidden and the exterior unit was located to maximize signal while minimizing any disruption of our view or the aesthetics of our house. He also was helpful in leaving plenty of wire outside so I can eventually bury it after other dirt work is completed in the same approximate area.

I had to carry the old dish to my dumpster. It would have been easy for him to taken it and I am 79 yrs old! In addition took a long time for schedule. Had to talk with different people. Never got same answer twice and I see no improvement.

The repair man came out and replaced some components of our internet service including some wiring and the modem which were all defective, along with some components on the satellite. It is working fine, a little slow but so much better than it has been in a year. The tech that installed our system used some old cables left from Viasat. I feel those were faulty for a very long time and probably shouldn't have been used. Also the modem was faulty. The repair tech was very knowledgeable and courteous. I felt very safe with him in my home. Thank you.

I want to cancel service. It’s horrible. Cannot work or stream tv. I just want a full refund. Should not have to pay for lack of service. I have not had wifi continuously for more than one minute at a time since the installation.

I am in a dead zone and can only get internet by satellite. There are many companies in my area offering much more competitive rates. Some as low as $30 per month but are just out of my area by a mile. Your company needs to consider the area and needs of the customers who cannot get any other service and are held hostage to your rates and ridiculous slow speeds.

We dropped Centurytel internet, because it is very a weak and very frustrating wired connection, for amount of the quality of signal. Hughesnet was very fast to install satellite service, and has been good so far. The signal is strong and reasonably consistent so far. We are committed to a two year contract, so it is a very early to give a 5 star rating. Time will tell.

Living in the country, there aren't a lot of internet options. We were with a different satellite internet company. We had a new roof installed on our house and we were going to have to wait 2 and a half weeks for them to come out and realign the satellite. We had been at the company for over 10 years. We were able to get installation within 3 days and are very pleased with our package and speeds. I highly recommend Hughesnet!

Overall it’s great, but when watching movies on Dish we have serious problems with buffering that we didn’t have have with Century Link! Internet is too slow. Dislike switching internet codes to get signal. Words can not express how disappointed we are with the service. If Xfinity was available we could have had our service transferred. I've had someone with the knowledge of the codes look at it. Their question to me was why didn't the tech combine the two codes together to get a stronger signal inside the home for customer logging into internet. I just wanna scream!!! The two codes I linked could be combined.

We are finding out stuff now that were not told to us when we signed up and when the installer was here. It's unbelievable the price you end up having to pay for living in the country. When talking on phone there's a lag in our response to the other person and we end up talking over the other person. Also, the phone service has died on two different occasions. Customer service people are difficult to understand and communicate with.

My mother was the credit cosigner. I was the authorized user. It isn't that difficult if the bill came in my name. I was cheated out of six months if not years of discounted service. I feel like I should be reimbursed for being over charged to the highest level. But more time than not your company will find some excuse to say it was a problem or some lie to to guard their gouging. I just want you all to come and get your modem and whatever equipment you have left here I ask that it be removed as soon as possible.

Price is very high, lots of my friends won't subscribe because you have a reputation of being high priced. My service seems to upload slow also, I watched a movie on Netflix and it stopped 2 times in less than an hour to reload. I admit I'm not impressed with HugesNet. These guys are a ideal scam artist mix:
2 - Lie about their willingness to "waive" cancellation fees when you sign up (they say that if performance is the issue, they will waive fees but then put you through an egregious exercise to "prove" the issues and still charge you cancellation fees).
3 - Have terrible customer service.
4 - Are impossible to reach during evenings and especially weekends when it is possible for most people to talk with their scam artist "techs" and "customer service" (more like customer abuse) reps.
5 - Place their equipment in impossible/very dangerous to reach places and then charge you for the worthless equipment when you cancel.
6 - Worst mix of service, cost, cancellation charges, etc that I have ever dealt with.
7 - Do not do business with HughesNet or you are just asking to throw away thousands of dollars while having a nightmare experience.

It was suppose to be extremely fast but it is the exact opposite! Extremely SLOW! Pathetic!! Wish I would have known better!! I bought the equipment so now I am stuck and screwed! My VOIP Phones do not work either and I am faced with buying a ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter that costs a fortune) through Hughes which is outrageously priced. I had to purchase their internet because reputable service wasn't available at the time. The tech was so unprofessional. Pulled up, had an umbrella out. Was sitting on the back of his truck waiting for us to come out. Every time he did one task he would stop and smoke a cigarette or on the phone. It took him 3 hrs to install our internet. What they offer is extremely too expensive for me NOT to have internet. I work from home and was not able to do so because most of the time was spent waiting for the buffering to stop. Funny note, When I was returning their product. There was a woman at UPS sending her product back as well; she said they asked her why she is leaving and she said that she didn't want to sit and wait for it to buffer for 2yrs. They had the nerve to charge me $300 to cancel and the damn thing never worked. Don't walk. Run from this company.

The person setting up the contract was very nice and courteous. The response of setting up the equipment was quick and the tech was professional. But now have had it in service for a bit, we find that while watching Netflix, many times it has stopped and we have had to start the show over multiple times during one setting. Also finding frustration with watching Youtube. I find the usage on my computer moderate but OK. We are not gamers. I switched from Connext because of their reliability issues. Their service was much cheaper and while working we didn't have these issues. I was hoping that by switching that I would have the same response with better reliability, especially with paying the much higher cost.

I was having great issue with my residential service. I had been on the phone with tech support for hours as a result. I didn't find out that there was an issue with my dish's alignment until I called to cancel my service after I switched to a business account. That is when I learned that a technician should have been dispatched to fix the problem. I was not even aware at that point that there was an issue with the dish. I just knew that my service speed was awful. I am really happy that I switched. My service has not been this good in forever.

This internet is so unreliable that we will be canceling when our two year contract is up. When we do have internet, it is so slow and sporadic that we can't use it in the basement, have to take devices off of the wifi in order to make other devices work. The 5G equipment doesn't work. We have used HN for internet service for Years (and it's worked great). I worked from home every day in the 2020 shut-down & now 2 days a week. Never had any serious issues outside of weather (it's satellite after all). Our phone, however, was almost a constant problem (buzzing, line failure for weeks, etc.), so we moved to HughesNet Voice. Installation was performed professionally and promptly on all three of our systems. We added voip to two of the pro50 systems. One of the adapters was defective and would drop calls and require daily power down resets but they refused to replace the adapter so we canceled that voip system. Service went out on my HughesNet internet during a heavy rain and extreme wind storm during the weekend. Called service repair next day and they set-up a repair service call. Happy to report the repair service contacted me the next day to set-up an appointment the following day. All went well with repair to the satellite dish the following day. The service was good. Installer was nice and did a great job. So far the internet is so so. WiFi is not the best. The DVR shows are always buffering. Same with the phone. The router is about twenty feet from either of tv or phone. I would think that with clear skies and no obstructions that that should not be a problem. I have read a bunch of reviews that had less than happy customers. Granted they were a while back, I would think that things would have improved by now. We’ll see how things go and if things don’t get better we may not continue with Hughes Net.

I literally signed up 4 days ago and I was told that I would get 25mbps and I am not even near 0.9 mbps. I called technical support and they said because it's raining. I am new to satellite service however they should tell you about this before they lock you in to a two year contract. No one explained much about it or told me about the possibilities that I may not be able to use it for my basic business internet needs. I can not even download a PDF page without being tortured. It's a joke and sad. I will be filing a lawsuit due to negligence and misinformation. Salesperson said his mom has it and her grandson loves it and never had any issues. It's a lie! Alexa keeps freezing up. The person on other end has a hard time hearing me and I can't get the Echo Dot to connect to the internet. It computer runs slow at time too. The signal is weak at the other end of the house.

She worked out a plan that was perfect for my needs, and also applied several discounts as a new subscriber. The entire process took only a few minutes and then she scheduled my installation date. It was the best phone customer service I have had in quite a long time.

The young man had my internet up and going in no time. He was very nice and does his job well. Yes I would and have shared with friends. He had to hook up my new Modem in no time. Don't know what he makes but he should have a raise, to keep him.

The installer was great. He helped me with where I wanted the dish and box because of snow fall, etc, I needed it a little further from the house. He then helped find the best spot for the equipment inside so it came through the wall in a spot I could have a furniture piece to house the modem.

I don't like to complain but when we stream our Roku it buffers a lot, even on 5g. When I am on my computer and remote into my server my speed is as slow as dial up. I did a speed test and I was at .87mbs upload and download was not great either.

I called Hughesnet in June 2021 to put my service on hold for up to six months because I was going to Ohio to help my 92 year old brother. I was there for three month and called Hughesnet in Sept to reinstate my service. I was told I had to pay a $440.00 service fee to reinstate the service.. I was not told this at the time I had the service put on hold. I also had a bad experience with this company when a landline was installed. The price that was quoted me was a lot higher than was first stated to me. I had a woman hang up on me when I questioned her about my bill. This company needs to make sure the customer knows all of their hidden costs before not after the service is provided.

Although the crew did not arrive during the scheduled time, they called to arrange a later appointment. The two man crew stabilized my dish on my roof. They also informed me that the motor had been struck by lightning so they replaced it. My internet service has worked well since their service.

The young man did a great job. He put in a new satellite dish. Explained everything. Cleaned up after he was finished. He was on time and very efficient. We are so far very satisfied with the internet. Seems to be moving very quickly. The modem is small and narrow so it doesn’t take up any space. So glad we called to set it up. Wish we would of called sooner.

We find that Hughes Net is more dependable for our every day use, We will stay with Hughes Net, and refer them to our friends and family. The Phone service is much better than who we were with. We find it to be more dependable.

The service is not what I expected. I have 3 boys that like streaming between them watching YouTube or streaming tv shows, movies. They can’t do that because it buffers too much and what I pay I should have no problems.

So far great job with service. It is a bit annoying when rains and signal is lost, but otherwise it is a LOT better than previous service we had with AT&T. We like the smaller box too and the pole is great so we did not have to put holes in the new roof. The installer did a spectacular job & even did a favor for the USAA adjuster who got stuck in our front yard.

Well, the tech kept in contact with me the entire day. It was storming and he didn’t want to work in the rain and I thought that was fair because who would. So I told him he could come later in the day. He informed me when he was on the way. He actually got to my place before I did. He asked me if it was okay for him to start outside first since I wasn’t there yet and I said sure. Once I got there he came in. We talked. Shared stories. And then he told me that he and his wife was getting over Covid. At that point it’s too late to ask him to put a mask on, he was done.
He worked well and shared pics of his grandkids and the conversation was welcomed but I wish the customers would know from the beginning if someone had or has Covid. Myself already having a lot of health issues, I would have just asked him to wear a mask before entering. But his service was great. Now once he left the internet went out 4 times within the first hour. I’ve heard that the internet service is not that good itself. I won’t fully judge yet. I’ll give it a few months.

Installation went very well. No problem. A day or two after the installation we got an E-mail "confirmation" with a very high, totally out of line, monthly cost associated with the mandatory upgrade. Next day it took me several hours on the phone to (hopefully) get the problem resolved. We are anxiously waiting for the next billing, hopefully it will be $39.99, as promised.

When he put in our new dish he left the old one lying in our yard. What am I suppose to do with the old dish? Is this the way it is done? I had nothing to do with the prior residents so why is it my responsibility to dispose of their dish when you own it.

Why bother, nothing will be done!!! Tried five times and continuously receiving rejections from Hughes!! I'm sorry I ever changed and should have gone with Verizon!! Now because of my one star rating, I get a "lost connection!!" Notice or submitted failed.

He didn't! The only buried cable was previously installed. He just connected to it. My mother is 80. This is unsafe for her and anyone else and won't last very long. This needs to be done correctly. I have his string of text messages if you're interested in them as well. I would prefer another installer please come correct this issue. Thank you.

I keep getting a popup that says my internet is not responding. I will push (wait) and eventually it may respond or sometimes it won't. I will close app and restart, it will work for about 10 minutes and goes down again.

Only issue we have is occasional "dropping" of our internet service. This is not HughesNet, it is geographical/environmental. Our service technician was very good, clean, knowledgeable and thorough. He arrived promptly on time, was very courteous, gregarious without being overfriendly. Work was done in a timely manner..

The service didn't work for me good in my Area. A lot of Buffing and I wasn't 100% Satisfied or My Son's. I really Wished it did work but it didn't. I was very sad for to get terminated my service. It just wasn't perfection internet and wifi Service. I still want to Say Thank you HughesNet for welcoming me in your Service.

Technician was very professional and understanding of my issues. He was able to correct a problem that had been affecting my service for some time. Apparently there were corroded connections at my dish which had been causing outages every time it rained. Additionally, he readjusted my dish which could have been causing poor service.

I have tried every conceivable internet provider that is available to me at my location, from DSL to LTE cellular, to satellite. The price range I have paid is from $40 a month to $149 a month. The service has been inconsistent at best and downright horrible at worst. HughesNet has been the best, most consistent of all of them and at about mid price between all I've tried. I would highly recommend HughesNet Internet.

Service is good so far and runs the 2 Rokus and 2 tablets well. Not sure if gaming is possible yet. It's even been good during bad weather. Not really happy about the limits but it's literally the only type of internet available where we live.
