I pay for 25mb download service that has been costing me $90 per month. My first call to Hughes was on the 24th or 25th of May when we got to our second home for the first time in 3 months. My download speed was under 2mb with no data usage. We were back up in June and it was slow again. When we came up on July 24th it was the same thing. This time they said they would send a technician out on August 7th. The technician realigned the antenna and grudgingly replaced the modem. We had 25mb down and 3 mb up that night and when we left the next day.
After 2 weeks not being here when we arrived today I noticed the speed was way down. After a long hold I got ahold of tech services. Was disconnected and called back then got disconnected a third time. The final person I talked to said that advanced services would call me back in 3-5 days!!! I explained that this is a second home and we are only here on weekends and I was told that was the best that could happen. I am extremely unhappy with this service and have basically paid for a worthless internet service for more than 3 months. Either Hughesnet can have someone call me to correct this tomorrow or you can come and pickup your equipment!

I have no issues with the service. Will start working from home within the next week or so. The installer was very friendly and very knowledgeable on what my needs were and showing me on what needs to be done.

I changed my internet to Hughes, getting an appointment for two days later. When the tech was running late that day, Hughes called me to let me know with new estimated time. Since this is during covid-19, I was concerned about a stranger in the house. I asked for him to wear a mask and he did (one that I provided). I was up and running in a reasonable time.

Technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and was quick. Technician was quiet, wore mask, abided Covid 19 guidelines. He also called me and came a day early which I appreciated very much. It was very hot out and tech worked under very hot conditions.

Agent did good job in helping me with problem. Just don't feel it's fair to charge $5 to have a paper bill mailed to me. I still like paying by check as I'm an old individual and comfortable paying like that. Don't like to use credit card.

Very respectful, timely coming to install, have up to date calls to let me know the progress of them getting here. Made sure everything worked. Before they left took all materials with them and cleaned up along the way. From the time I called to order to time of installation was less than 24 hours! Service seems to do well even in our rural area.

First I did speak to a person who I think was in US and spoke clearly. Installation was local and on time. So far all is good. Satellite is certainly not as fast as land line but Netflix working and computer working fine. A little patience helps. I dread calling them since I expect overseas customer service and that is unpleasant. I didn’t have a choice about going with Hughes and hadn’t heard good things, but so far so good.

He kept us informed and made sure everything was set up correctly and answered all our questions. Very courteous. He made sure all our devices were connected as well. Still having buffing problem with receiving programs. Techs have been helpful when I have call concerning problems. Had up my data, however, receiving hasn’t been any better. Buffing occur during day as well as evening. Wasn’t this bad when first put in.

Not happy with connection when there's a storm or hard rain. Also could be unlimited data plans. Always have to wait up to an hour before reconnection. Since remotely working from this is frustrating. This issue could be improved immensely in areas like mine.

I was told I was going to be able to at least connect 3 devices end up that only 1 device will work and very very slow and I had to make a contract for that. What a shame plus the amount of money I have to pay for that is just ridiculous but I guess there nothing to do now. I will never recommend you.

Requested information regarding recent purchase of 3 GB token. Response very efficient and informative per email, but had to wait over 30 minutes for chat and phone alternatives were not appropriate. It is nice to view remaining token data on my account to see where I stand on data processing.

On 8/18/20 I had internet installed at my home. Upon completion of the installation my Internet still wasn’t working. I was requested to call back in 2 business days. After calling again they tried to troubleshoot the problem. Still without internet, I cancelled the service. I was told my money would not be refunded. I had no internet for 2 days and still had to pay for it. Completely unacceptable business protocol!!! Very dissatisfied customer.

Super slow internet. Customer service is a joke. They transfer you around for hours. Then when you finally get someone on the phone they are RUDE! I would not recommend this company to anyone. It is horrible and the Internet sucks!

Despite purchasing the highest level service possible, your internet service is awful. During evening hours, streaming is virtually impossible with extreme buffering and pop up messages deriding the bandwidth from streaming providers, despite changing video settings or calling tech support or both. My perception is that your throttling of signal is the main cause of the problem. We rarely exceed our plan gigs and have almost 100 gigs in reserve that are essentially useless. If the service does improve soon, we will be forced to seek another provider now that our contract period is over. Your internal claims of speed test sufficiency do not meet the sniff test of actual delivered performance. Note: The first time I tried to send this message to you, your system advised that it could not be sent.

Ever since we switched to HughesNet our internet speed has been as low as 1.5 meg not 25 as promised. I have been given all kinds of excuses but as soon as our contract is up we will shift back to Verizon for our internet provider. Signed a very unhappy client.

The rep kept wanting to upsell me to a higher priced format. Did not listen or resolve problem. No resolution occurred, paying over $90 a month now for very bad service!! When I first subscribed internet speeds were good however they now have degraded to extremely poor to non-existent. I am at a loss as to what to do as Hughesnet offers no help to fix this dilemma. My only option is to find another internet provider.

I haven't moved my dish since it was installed by HughesNet techs... now they are saying I need it repositioned and are telling me it's going to cost me 125.00 to fix your installation problems. I am very dissatisfied with your slow speeds..I even bumped it up thinking it would be faster...I have never had good speeds even now at 100.00 a month.

Customer service was great!! He was able to get my discount applied. Had no issues and didn't have to wait long. As I am not happy as much with the strength of my wifi the service is good. Hopefully later on down the line the signal will get better. I hope for sure so I don't have to go to another provider.

They auto drafted my bank account without authorization and overcharged me. Two supervisors argued there was no mistake, I was just out of luck. Called back a second time, spoke with a customer service rep, and she found the overcharge and fixed it.

Hughes net customer service is the worst of any company I have ever encountered. I was on the phone for 1 hr and 40 minutes being transferred from one rep to another. All of them passing the buck, "It's not my department." I finally got fed up and ended to call. I will be looking for a new provider. Terrible!!

Worst, rudest customer service ever. We lived in an area with no access to Internet other than our phone hotspots and this terrible service. We were told about the early termination fee, except under certain circumstances-like moving to an area where access to the internet is available. Which is what we did. But now they’re telling us it’s going to cost us almost $300. This isn’t the first, or even 4th time, they’ve said one thing and done something else! Crooks!!!

I was sold on HUGEMESS as being a better service than ATT. But after a few weeks of use it was clear that the service was not. It took me 54 minutes to cancel my service and to get an agreement in writing via email that I wouldn't be charged the disconnection fee. I had two services on my property so the total would be $400.00. But guess what, HUGEMESS went into my bank account months after the contract was cancelled and helped themselves to $400. THIS IS THEFT!!! I was on hold, transferred and promised a call back after 48 minutes the other night talking with a multiple CS Agents. Still, as of this writing, no money has been returned and I never received my call back. This is a criminal enterprise to say the least.

The service representative was prompt and courteous. He checked to determine our problem and explained the situation to us. He was able to realign our dish to give us the optimal signal. He made sure everything was working correctly before he left.

Serviceman listened respectfully and immediately went up on roof and found the dish was not anchored correctly. The dish was installed last year by a Hughes Net employee and was only 50% attached to roof, that interrupted the signal strength.

Works very well. It is at my cabin in the mountains and the only way I can get internet. Without it I can’t even use my phone for texting or email as I have no phone service at this location. Makes me feel a lot safer.

Hughesnet service has always been very slow from the very beginning. I’m very disappointed with this service. My grandson is doing school from home, and is sometimes with me. He has a problem getting simple stuff. I had a hotspot hub before and it was much faster than Hughesnet.

HughesNet went down while I was updating my account. I completely filled out all blocks and tried to update and I got a message back saying system temporarily out of service and try later. Tried several time later each time with no response. I have called twice and both times we made sure the phone numbers were updated by HughesNet personnel because they said they would give us a call when the system is in service.
I can get some of my HughesNet mail through MS Outlook but I am sure it is only a portion. If it can not be corrected at your end please send a technician for service. Jim ** or JerrySue **. The Prime number ** is no longer used and was one of the updates I was trying to make and both phone calls assured me they had corrected all the information. I can not get to my HughesNet mail so I can not check for spam. Considering I was signed in when the fault occurred it must be equipment failure or malfunctions at your end.

HughesNet pledged that my download speed would be at least 25 mbps. In reality, I generally get between 15 and 20 mbps. However, there are times that I get as high as 30 mbps. However, that is markedly better than my previous broadband provider. With them, Rise Broadband, I was lucky to get 5 mbps. So, all in all, I am happy with HughesNet.

My wi fi was tested by a Best Buy technician that came to install a Ring Video doorbell, he performed diagnostics on my wi fi connection and said that it wouldn't work due to 0 connection. Hughesnet resolved it by saying that there was no connection problem so I am very happy that it is resolved. My problem now is getting a technician to complete the installation of the Ring Video Doorbell.

Saturday the tech was supposed to show up between 3-5, called around 4. Said he was going to be there at 5:30 (not a problem). Didn't hear anything from him till after 7 then he got lost... We were trying to find him but apparently he wasn't by where he said so the installation didn't happen. We are very frustrated and I called Monday. Was on the phone for almost an hour, the agent said he was calling the distributor to get a new set up date and was helpless to say the least... I am very frustrated because there was no resolution to my problem or a new date was given for set up and if I want to cancel it's $390 when they don't have the customer service that they should or can't resolve the issues that they should!

The install & tech was very easy & friendly. Our service so far has been lacking, we have blurry Netflix, delayed loading & it won't even play Disney + cause it is constantly buffering... We opted for this so we service so that we would be able to stream shows with ease & not be frustrated as we've been.

The internet never worked from day one. I tried several time to get it repaired and it never worked. Luckily I had a back up internet. After waiting on hold for 2 hours, 3 separate times I canceled the internet that never worked. Then I got charged a cancelation fee and now my roof is leaking where the satellite was installed. I never waste my time complaining about purchases but this tops it off.. Also when you cancel or stop service be prepared to go on your roof in the middle of winter to get the radio off the satellite or you will get charged $300.. Complete Joke of a company. Wasted 10 hours trying to cancel.

There's no way I'm getting 25 Mbps. And it seems to get worse at peak usage hours, which means I'm sharing bandwidth with others. I was never told this would happen. I fell for the install demonstration of speed, which occurred during a time when few people were on the internet. This service has been worthless during the pandemic for working from home. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is that my other internet options are worse and HughesNet is betting that no net at all. Also, the phone service works very well.

My Chase debit card was illegally compromised. My concern was how to pay my upcoming bill with my Citicard to avoid late charges or worse.. Disconnect. The young lady I spoke with was most helpful. Very professional and friendly. She seemed very knowledgeable about the billing process and assured me in paying my charges due on August 26th. She is quite an asset to your organization.

They claim reliable internet ANYWHERE. We've got reliable service for the first time in our "neck of the woods". An extra bonus is that thus far bills are consistent, service prompt and friendly. Now I'm feeling less stressed over the possibility of virtual learning.

Called Tech Service about my slow internet service. I am a new customer and thinking maybe it was something I was doing wrong. I called 8/12/20 late in the evening. The call went into early morning hours of 8/13/20. They could not solve the issue agreeing that my service is not what it should be. Said she would pass on to the higher tech dept. and I would hear back within a couple days. Today is 8/16 and still poor internet.

I'm very Satisfied with this Hughes Net Satellite Internet Service and I have informed all 386 Friends on my Facebook account that I finally have a strong WI FI signal, and that I should have made this switch to Hughes net Satellite system years ago. The only problem that I have now is: "What do I do with all of the darn NET GEAR Extender equipment and modem that I paid so much for 6 years ago?" "Thanks Hughes Net for including this remote area of coverage in this Southern part of Tennessee." We feel like NOW,, you have made us a welcomed part of the United States of America,, "for real!"

The satellite doesn't support VPN and can't telework. Because of these times we are living in, to help rural areas I thought maybe there would be more GBs offer to the customers. Unlimited and speed is important in these times now. Can't someone do something to make it better?

Hello, Besides your contractor being 2 hrs late, I'm having trouble keeping a steady signal, the confusion is, he told us that the 2.4 G is better than 5G, not sure about which to us. I've connect a security system at my Cedar lake property so I can keep an eye on this property and it keeps going offline. The contractor himself was a nice guy though, oh he did not ground the outside wiring. Thank you!

Download speeds so slow I kept timing out on loading pages. I canceled after just one week of terrible service. Tech support basically told me that's just how it is, customer service took 45 minutes just to cancel my account. Huge waste of time and money.

The internet speed is very slow compared to internet speed in Bangor/ME....and we lose internet connection often due to weather issues. Plus it is very pricey for the speed we get. We have no other options where we live for internet service. We need more bandwidth and better speed.

Experience was great with the last representative that I had. He deserved Employee of the Month & Year. On the contrary, my daughter keeps saying that the internet is still kinda slow even with Gen 5 & I still have not ran out of internet service where it goes slow. It would be great to take some bonus time & add it to our regular now that kids are doing virtual learning because of the pandemic.

I could not get the system to power back up after a short power failure. She told me how to get the system back in service and working again. I also terminated your service since I am moving to another home with a HOA that doesn't allow outside antenna or dishes.. When I finished explaining I could not keep your service he said there would be no additional charges as long as it sent your equipment back before 1 October your letter says $175!!!

My service with the wi-fi is very poor in the house. Half of the times I can't get phone call or make phone from the house. I have to step away in order to make phone calls. All I have is one lap-top, two receivers for TV's and one I-phone. Thank you.

I called to complain about internet speed. The rep did something at her end that increased speed some. Still not a very fast speed, but we live in the country so best we can get. If we could get cable, it would most likely be a faster speed, but that's not happening. HughesNet is our only option for halfway decent speed.

Can’t watch YouTube or any live stream without long interruptions. Two hours to watch one hour. Just upgraded to 50 MEG data. No change. Recycled modem- no change. 1st it was a billing situation, my internet was locked, service was not good I paid my bill. Then I returned, to find out the system was down. It was determined by tech service I need house tech call. Next I called Hughes 4 times. I got put on hold, lost call, no email, no call from dispatch. Service gotten lousy. I left text message for no call 6 hrs later. Hughes really poor 10× service. I have 2 accounts. As I'm writing I'm exploring other service providers.

Satellite internet is slow as molasses in winter. Customer service says to try it at 2:00 AM; much better supposedly. Latest solution was to upgrade to a larger data plan for "only" an additional $10 per month. So I did. It did not improve anything.

I depend on internet for work and am unable to watch my online webinars, unable to stay connected with Zoom and we had to reschedule the training, and today I wanted to work on my billing and unable to connect. I sent a mail before that I do not think this service is going to be acceptable. Good example, when I hit "submit" beleow it said "connection lost".

Some channels are streaming ok (Netflix and FilmRise) but some (YouTube and Roku and Amazon Prime) are constantly loading and re-loading to the point where they are frustrating to try and watch and I just give up. I have my Data Saver ON, but the performance issues are constant whether I have the Data Saver ON or OFF. My laptop internet performance is OK, but I'm unable to watch videos on the internet for the same reason listed above. Happy to have internet access, but unhappy with TV performance. A Customer Service rep tried to help, and it worked OK for a couple of days, but the issues have returned. Just going to live with it, but certainly will not recommend HughesNet to anyone.

It took a while but I got my bill paid online. The rep was very patient and helpful. The site kept reversing the payment. So instead of posting $75.21 it posted $12.57. The young lady was able to rectify the situation and complete the transaction.

The only thing it really brings me is wifi, which means for us that my PC can now connect to internet. Our other three devices were able to connect via 2 bars of cell, with enough speed to stream video. They don't get better speed through the Hughes satellite. And the comedown for us is that we, in our seasonal house, cannot turn off the Hughesnet for more than six months. So to get three months of Hughes, we pay for six.

We switched to Hughes Net because of chronic problems with another provider. So far Hughes Net has been less than expected. No outages like with the prior provider but much slower than expected. Slow to load email, slow to load videos and slow to load web pages. When I say slow I mean 5 to 10 seconds and sometimes 15 to 20 seconds. It will pause several times during a YouTube video or a Zoom conference video. We live in a very rural area so we don't have many choices for internet coverage. Just wish for what we have to pay we could get better performance. I guess it is what it is!

We moved from our previous address to our new home in October 2017. I was told to leave the dish at the old address. I was unable to have a new one installed on our new home. After 1 (one) year and 4 months of paying for equipment I wasn't using. I had to cancel and send it back. I was told that I would not be charged for the transponder. You lied to me and charged me a $214.00 fee for a part that I didn't install or was trained to technically maintain. Why am I expected to know how to remove it if you installed it. I paid on time and didn't use it. And yet you expect me, a 61 year old cancer patient, to go back. Climb up a ladder. And do something that I was told I wouldn't have to worry about. Your rep was misleading and at the least, lied. Your company is unfair and should be sued for discrimination against people of age. OLDER PEOPLE MATTER!!!! BLACK LIVES MATTER!! Your company doesn't.

Experiencing great difficulty receiving Netflix and Amazon Movies even during clear weather. I have upgraded our system to little avail. Have spoken to tech support several times with varied success. I switched to another company because of data caps, and tried starting in March of 2020 to cancel my service (just when covid started). Called at least 10 times during March and April and got a recording every time that they couldn't answer my call right now try again. Sent them 3 emails which they never answered, did a live chat with a rep and he said I had to talk to accounting who would not answer their phone. Finally in May I got through to accounting and cancelled my service but said they would have to charge me for all that time 2 months that they wouldn't answer their phones. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Was sold business plan through Separate company and told that internet would work if not wouldn't be problem. Tech would come back out, remove equipment and not be charged. After being on the phone for 4 hours and transferred to 5 different employees. Now I have to pay cancellation fee for a service that didn't work in the first place That I called your company to cancel 4 times and talked into keeping the internet and now also told to keep the equipment. The service person argued with me and said, "We will bill you" and it's my choice to pay the bill?! I asked to speak to a supervisor And was informed that he was the manager and cant do anything else other than refund me my original set up fee.
I am so disappointed in the customer service and Different scripting from each department. I would like to drop this equipment off, be refunded my installation fee, and no additional cancellation fees. I have already reported the issue to BBB. I hope this can be solved because it seems like you are false marketing and there are state statutes against false advertising.

Your service stinks. I'm in a two year contract now for something that is inefficient. It took on Tuesday, September 11, 3 transfers before I got a person who could actually help but bless this nice fellow, the solution only made matters worse. The first two people I could barely understand and wouldn't answer my one main question and then transferred back to the main menu instead of tech support. The third person actually worked with me, but the speed didn't increased it slowed. I'm suppose to be able to get apps on my tv or have videos on the computer but everything slows down or freezes. Very dissatisfied.

Overall my experience with Hughes net representatives has been extremely poor. Horrible customer service, I don't know why I stayed with Hughes net for almost 5 years. Amongst a global pandemic you guys pull money out of my account when I have not had Hughes net for 5 months. Never even had it installed at my residence. I was getting 10 gb of data per month. The internet was very slow. I purchased another 10 gbs (now it is 20) but the internet is still slow. There is no reason for 20 gb to be metered especially after after the first day. Facebook is a great place to expose bums and crooks. I have been scammed! Un-meter my internet. 25 gbps is too slow especially with this much unused data.

Very disappointed in this internet service. We have not had internet service for days. I am trying to work from home and it is totally impossible. My husband called Hughesnet and they stated they would send a tech out. My husband waited all day and at 6:30p.m. and several calls to the Hughesnet customer service line to only hear that a tech had not been assigned, I had had enough.
Service is canceled with the snide remark from the customer service rep to my husband ..."Well if your wife changes her mind you can keep the service." News flash Hughesnet I'm not changing my mind! Already have another internet company lined up to provide way better service and at a better price than you had to offer. I will not recommend your internet services to anyone.

Around 8 or 9 pm while trying to watch something streaming the connection keeps buffering. It's a clear night and it seems to do it around the same time. I was trying to watch an episode of Jonathan Creek on Acorn and with 18 minutes left it started buffering with a message saying my internet connection was weak. Yes, 25 seconds to download, but then seems to work fine. We ported our phone number over from AT&T but we’re not told process & it was a pain, but finally done. Did have to update our alarm system to digital which no one explained. All a learning process. Now I can successfully upload new IOS systems to cellphone!! What a concept. Glad we chose Hughes. Internet was down and the soonest service appointment I could get was 13 days out, when I had already reported that my internet had been down for a week. My whole experience has been horrible. I was completely lied to from the beginning. Expected to pay out my contract for services NOT received. Terrible customer service. Liars. Horrible internet services. Does not work with you at all. Support agents will argue over everything. Never received my electronic agreement. Was lied to about cancellation fees and about my monthly bill. Overall terrible experience.
They DO NOT care if you are barely working due to Covid and can not afford to keep the bill and want you to suspend even though there’s a chance you are out of a job soon. (Yes I know covid is not their fault) If covid is making it hard to pay my monthly bill and I may not have a job soon they want you to pay out your contract even though you have received terrible service since before Covid-19. Last tech guy I had to file a complaint on for pretty much sexual harassment (I don’t care if it’s 3rd party). Would not recommend to anyone. I have done everything asked of me for every issue and continue to have terrible internet and customer service.

I spent almost three hours on the phone with customer service trying to resolve a billing issue. I spoke with four different customer service reps and four times was put on hold and hung up on. This company provides the most minimal internet service while charging premium prices with no customer support and no conflict resolution. Internet slow and not getting the MBPS I pay for. I was told I would get 25 Mbps and since it’s been installed I have never gotten more than 10. I use a computer for work and I must have 20 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload at all times. I was lied to when it was sold to me and no one has fixed it yet.

Still getting used to how things work. We are having some issues when we FaceTime with our family in New Jersey --- fuzzy picture and the frame freezing up. Not sure what to do about that. The phone service portion appears to be sure fine. Also - continue to get a message whenever we open a file - that it could be a hazard. It’s shame a pole mount had to be used, but the installer did a good job and allowed me to help choose the location. Overall great installation, very quick. I guessing the installer just forgot to wear a mask indoors. I stayed at least 6 feet away. No big deal. Very pleased overall.

When I was first connected it was fine then it started coming in and out. Now I can hardly get anything especially at night and I know I got until my thirty day is up to decide if I want to keep it or not.

I live way out in the country for the past 30 years. I have had only satellite service for my internet. Hughes Net have been my 4th line of service. Trouble free and the best price of anybody. Their technicians are so well trained, that suggested what equipment I needed to get the fastest service.

My wife and I both work from home. Hughes does not make that possible. I was told that Hughes was the only option and I was lied to. It's absolutely the worst service that I've ever had! They told me that huge fees would be charged if I canceled my service. I've now got AT&T scheduled to connect us in a couple of days. I'll be seeing you in court very soon Hughes!

The experience I had today with Keith went very well and I was so surprised when he answered and we began to talk. He was/is friendly, open and respectful. He answered my questions without showing that he was annoyed. He is nothing like most of the customer service people I have spoken with at AT&T. He also was not evasive or trying to talk me out of answering the tough questions I needed answered. I can only hope that AT&T will hire more people like Keith. Best of luck to him!

This is slower than my DSL at times. Speed varies greatly. Watching a music video online it frequently freezes for up to 30 seconds! This is very frustrating and unacceptable! The distance of the computer from the modem is only some 16'. No wall is separating the modem from the computer. I chose HughesNet over DSL for high speed internet!

We are extremely happy with our Hughesnet. We have not had a single problem at all! The installer was very professional and explained everything that he was going to do. I was concerned about the old dish leaving holes in the roof and adding new holes. The tech reassured me there would be no problem and explained everything perfect.

This is the worst experience with a company ever endeared "educated customer". FYI I have a degree in computer science. I own a networking company. You guys advertise service in which you are not capable of providing. I will be sure my customers, my employees, everyone I come in contact with understands how you handle your business. And yes I will be canceling. Yes I realize no one of any means will ever see this and this is a waste of time. But thank you for giving me an avenue to vent.

Every time there is a rainstorm there is no TV or internet service. Pretty much every time a cloud passes by. I thought that Hughes Net was to be really good. I am beginning to think that your commercial for Hughes Net 5 is a lie.

I call to get technician to come and do something with wire that is laying on top of ground. I was told that I would have to pay service call. I bargained. We agreed on 1/2 price. The wires were not properly attached when installed. Yes it has been almost 2 years and I have a 2 year contract. I retired not long ago realized what a mess I had.

Everyone I have spoke to is kind. Very professional, I hate Hughes Net, I will post every day on Facebook the way you have done to me. I paid over $400 to join, promising me it would be faster internet better, I have called in 10 times, once to cancel but they said I had to pay another $400 to cancel! If I am not getting good internet it should gladly refund me, I can't watch a movie without buffering at least 12 times during movie. I will post every day on Facebook about this!!! Extremely unfair!!!

I have a copy of the Proof of Delivery. No one even attempted to contact me before they ILLEGALLY charged my credit card. All access to my online Myhughesnet account is blocked so I have no way of knowing that their employees never acknowledged receipt of the equipment. Again, I have the UPS proof of delivery. And, since I can't log in anymore, (acct cancelled) I can't leave comments in the Community to let others know about this situation. Really completely unethical, shameful business practices! Now, I have to contact them again via a phone call (TREE) to make sure they refund MY MONEY!! After charging me and me contacting them via chat, their employee easily found the tracking info from UPS.

The only unnecessary charge that I'm upset with is the 25.00 fee to send me a modem that I didn't even keep! The best thing y'all did was send the technicians out here, even though nothing was wrong! I highly suggest you credit my account for sending me a modem for 25.00 that I didn't even need!

We had a hurricane and the internet went down. As soon as I call HughesNet they made an appointment, cause they couldn't fix it from their end, and that same day the tech came and fixed it! Internet is working ok now.

She solved my issues. Very happy. Wi fi is still slow. I pay a lot for my service. So I believe I should have faster WI Fi. When I lived in So Cal. I had Charter and their service was cheaper and never had an issue. I wish I could get Amazon Prime on my TV.

Not getting the speed I had hoped for. I don't understand the "Usage" chart in my dash panel. I got an offer for Free Installation two days after my install. Very unhappy about that. Would not have done this if my work had not forced me to. Now I'm stuck with it.

I asked about my slow internet as having to wait for downloads periodically. Zoom was "low bandwidth". The tech told me I needed to up my Gigabytes as I had ordered 10 and I have nine things using the internet in my house. He suggested my upping to 20 Gigabytes so correct the issue. It seems to have helped. It takes longer for me to use up my G's so I have faster service longer.

Though disappointed in the speed, the connectivity is FABULOUS! Prior to HughesNet, we had drop-outs in connectivity every day, usually several times per day. Since we got HughesNet installed we have had absolutely no problems. It is a MUCH slower connection though.

THe support Technician accidentally put the wrong expiration date. He was telling me that my payment didn't go through, and was going to end the call. When I asked why he said he didn't know why. I made him go over my information that he could see. And thats how we found the problem, he's to quick on saying, "I don't know" and wanting to hang up.

Internet performance not adequate for today’s needs because of all of online activity required due to Covid. Needed to attend online program Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Program had to keep buffering and skipped portions of presentation so many parts of verbal presentation missing. Video could be worked with but not audio.

I am very happy with Hughes Net. I would recommend it to anyone. No more buffering when watching movies and live Facebook. I will definitely tell my neighbor about it for their children’s schoolwork. I enjoy movies on Netflix now also.

The system seems to be working great. Sean, the installer, was very professional and did an excellent job. We will know next week when we try to conduct a training program. The system seems to be superior to the Hughes System of a few years ago.

I had a very good experience with the Hughes Net technicians. I found them to be very polite, concerned, well spoken and quite knowledgeable, as well as well qualified to help me. Instructions were clear and precise. On past calls, however, I was quite stressed out because I could not understand anyone there, I have postponed my problem for several months, dreading the experience but all was well this time.

Experienced loss of signal whenever it rained - even with only a light rain. Otherwise I was happy overall with the service. No problems to speak of other than that. I would choose Hughes Net again if I ever move back to that area.

I put 4 stars because the first agent added upgrades and did not deliver what was promised. So Ricky in the Caribbean helped fix the double problem. The guys out there are awesome. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He resolved the problems, that Mathew caused.
