I finally got a service tech that spoke English and knew everything to help me got my internet back up and set my router like it should have been. I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to have her take care of my problem.

HN is a good option for internet services in the country. It is difficult at times to download movies as WIFI is consistent most of the time. The website another issue-It is very difficult to read the chart that identifies WIFI usage. And if you do not use all of the data you paid for you lose it. Carryover would be appreciated for the price.

Our bill has gone up more than 30 dollars a month and the speed promised is minimal at best. It started at a reasonable amount but little by little kept going up and up. Looking for new service as we type.

HughesNet tech support generally ends up with a service call. Yes they give you credit for down time but generally you wait 2-7 days before a tech arrives and the techs sometimes forget to tell you those visits cost money.

I called customer service for a billing problem, he was very friendly, easily understood, most customer service I can't understand the person. He solved the problem and even helped me fix the password for my login to HughesNet. I was actually very pleased.

We liked Hughes Net and had a subscription for four years until fiber optics came to the neighborhood. Reliable services. Medium to slow speeds. Did not like the monthly data limits so much. We could not stream movies, but internet for surfing and emails was good. Thanks!

We have not watched a movie on Netflix since getting it. It cuts out way too much. Check our usage. Your employees are rude, can hardly speak English. I'm very dissatisfied. I wish I could get out of the contract. I would never recommend it to no one. It is the worse internet ever. Thank you.

I tried to pay this month's bill early and the guy told me that my bill was 131 and change and said that I've been paying that amount ever since I started service which no I have not. My bill should only be 95 and change. I told him that was wrong and he said I was wrong I've never paid $95 which in fact I have the statements from my bank stating I've only paid between 70-96 dollars. Since I've started service I'm very unhappy with customer service!

Need bigger home packages. Not enough GB. I have about 10 devices that I use internet on and I never have enough to last a week. The package price I find steep. Comcast gives 150GB for less with tv/phone. Your biggest package is $160 for 50GB. The service is great when wifi is available.

I am very pleased with the quality of the service. I do however live in a highly impacted area?? The signal can drop, for no apparent reason?? I will unplug the receiver for One Minute, then the separate router for One Minute, then wait about Five Minutes to regain everything?! I also have to watch my usage more carefully?! I sometimes 'burn through' Gigs FAST!

The wifi service is in no way as described per sales. Very disappointed with wifi calling & streaming as movies buffer. Wifi service doesn't seem to be compatible with security cameras either. At this point I'm very dissatisfied.

1st contact was with business agent/very nice. Transferred to 2nd agent. Long Silent periods and when asked agent's name would not spell or say it. Weird to say the least! Took too long to tell me my billing for this month and was vague and difficult to understand. Left me asking several times if still on the line. I don't want to think about what he might be doing but it made me feel uncomfortable!

Thomas ** has my email on his profile. I’ve called Hughes Net multiple times over a year. They won’t call him to get the right email. They’re sending me his address and information. It seems like it’s a violation. Every time I call customer service, they’re rude and do not care that they keep sending me his emails.

Had internet at a different location. Had problems. Couldn't even watch Netflix. Called 4 or 5 times. They never fixed it. Moved to a different location. No line of sight. They couldn't even get the internet to pick up. Still had to pay for contract.

Uses a lot of gigabytes to use. Our plan is 20 gb and it doesn't last long. We like to watch Netflix but our plan runs out before the end of the month. We have started unplugging everything that could draw data when not in use and I'll see if that helps.

Yesterday I had two helpful CS reps but on both of my calls both calls dropped in the middle of our conversation. My debit card charge was resolved before it dropped but my slow service and phone issue was not. Why does CS not call back when they have your phone number and I would like my slow service resolved please.

They claim a download speed of 25 mbps but during peak times my speed dropped as low as 2 mbps. Works fine in the middle of the night but not when I need it. I did a speed test at 1.8 mbps with dish net and after paying 235 dollars to cancel my contract I got Liberty PR and now my speed is 80-120 mbps. Worth the money to get away from them.

Sold a product that does not work as promised and repeatedly given excuses and never is resolved disputing charges and going to contact Attorney General for help in resolving this issue. Was told I would be able to work from home and was unable to use VPN.

Diego did a great job assisting me with installing my new wi-fi modem. He was positive, knowledgeable and patient while assisting me. He walked me through the steps needed to get the modem working properly. In a short period of time I had my network up and running again.

The technician who fixed our HughesNet satellite did a stellar job. HOWEVER, speaking on the phone several times with a representative who was barely fluent in English plus the long wait times to even get connected to a representative was a trying experience. My problem did get resolved eventually so I guess that's what really counts!

I recently cancelled my HughesNet service. I was expecting to pay a cancellation fee but I did not expect to be told that it was my responsibility to remove equipment that had been installed by them on my roof in order to return it to them. As a senior citizen who lives alone this expectation seems unreasonable and puts me at physical risk. The service did not meet my expectations from the beginning which is why I decided to cancel after only 7 months.
Zoom meetings were challenging because of sound delays and if there was a thunderstorm in the area I had to use my cell phone hotspot to connect to meetings as satellite internet was not an option. In retrospect, I would have been better off to have upgraded my cell phone and my cell phone plan and used my hotspot as my main internet service. Fortunately, I now have access to internet via fiber optics, but I do regret ever having resorted to HughesNet to meet "work from home" needs during the pandemic. Those of us who live in rural areas do need better options!

I called and spoke to a helpful customer service rep on 10/28. I wanted to speak to the technician that last visited and he provided the name and telephone number. I called, left a message and to date have not received a reply. My issue is still unresolved.

A couple weeks or about a month ago, I was and HAVE ALWAYS been having SLOW INTERNET Service. This one fellow RALPH helped me out VERY GOOD where I FINALLY got to watch a complete YouTube video without any Buffering every 10-25 seconds into a video. After the ONE video I watched after RALPH helped me with,.. I LOST INTERNET!
The Internet was OFF for about 30 seconds... then came back on. After that... I STILL HAVE THE SAME TROUBLES WITH SLOW INTERNET!!!! I get 20-45 SECONDS of video... then 5+minutes of BUFFERING!! NO... I am NOT HAPPY ONE BIT! RALPH helped me for ONE video.. After LOSING the INTERNET AFTER that ONE VIDEO... I am BACK to BUFFERING ALL THE TIME!!! THIS WILL BE CHANGING SOON!!!

I'm providing a 1 star because there is no option to leave no stars. We have yet to have resolution on a pull call request that was supposed to be under review since Sept. Now a month later we are being charged $855.27 with no resolution. Thus has put a hardship on our family. Not to mention the time spent away from family to take care of the matter. There is plenty of empathy that the associates provide. I only find out that the Associate manager has only the same empowerment that the associates that answer to him do.

Limited hold times, quick resolution, very nice phone service. I would recommend...person on phone nice and knew problem. Call was dropped first time I called. 2nd time no problem. Stayed with me entire time to make sure credit-card was changed. I hope next time online payment will work on auto pay. We will see.

Have tried to reset my password to register my account and to view my bill. The process is extremely confusing. I am not a computer whiz and am totally frustrated. Will try to call help line again and try to get it resolved. Don't know how else to explain the problem. Non satisfaction includes this writing of what is the problem.

We have had HugesNet internet many years, we have tolerated the slow downloads, our 10G limit and resetting modem every few days. There is no other internet option in our rural area. Lately I have been working from home, my work software requires internet and its not working well. In short satellite internet should be a last resort, it's expensive, can randomly become very slow and the latency is slow (they forget to tell you that). Yes it is unlimited but when you hit your 10-50G monthly limit it becomes virtually unusable. Our download speed when tested today was 1.5 Mbps and we still have data available, it's rarely the advertised 25 Mbps.

Have called 4 to 5 times, issued not resolved. Have asked for a technician to come out and replace modem/router. Equipment is obviously faulty. I am in the process of looking for another internet service provider. I’m not pleased with current service as it will work properly.

Been with them awhile and for the most part any problems have be handled. Overall grade would be a B- will stay with them and ride it out. The high spot is when you have to call in a problem they jump on it and get it done.

The speed was slow. Not what I thought I paid for. Also it would cut out in the middle of a movie to load...Very big pain. Last the dish was too high on the building. It fills up with snow and I cannot reach it to push the snow out. It needs to be lowered so I can reach it with a broom.

Horrible internet uploads and download speeds. They now try to tell me my dish needs to be aligned. Data usage gets sucked down in two days with no devices connected. I had an agreement with HughesNet from February 2020-February 2021 for the horrible service to be discounted. Apparently HughesNet messed that up too and charged me full price last month and going forward. NOPE not going to have services anymore due to HughesNet breaching their agreement. Will not pay a termination fee. Will make complaints to FCC, BBB, share on Social Media, and tell everyone I can think of NOT to use HughesNet. Customer service is horrible! Internet service is horrible! Company is horrible! This company should be ashamed of themselves for advertising “high” speed internet. Lucky to even have access for three days. It is usually only two. DO NOT USE HUGHESNET!!!!

I decided to give Hughes Net Business a try. We live in a rural area and have very few options for internet service for my home based business. We were told we were signed up for a one year contract. We have had the worse internet service, we usually have to use our hot spot on our phone to even send emails. I cant do most the functions I need to do as the connectivity speed lingers between 5 and 13 mbps. I was guaranteed speeds up to 25 Mbps And and a minimum of 15 Mbps. WE have had the service for nearly 1.5 years. They have come out to adjust the satellite and they have done several troubleshooting checks via phone. Now with Covid my kids have to do online schooling and they are unable to do it due to the poor service.
They have to use their hotspots which we only have 10 gig per phone. I called to cancel my service to day due to these issues and they told me they will cancel it at the end of my paid month. We pay nearly 225.00 a month and we just paid the payment. They didn't want to cancel it and prorate me the remainder of my paid monthly fee. I asked to talked to a supervisor to get that resolved, then the supervisor dropped the bomb they they will just apply it to my $475.00 cancelation fee. I told them i only have a one year contract, she argued with me and told me the cancelation fee is valid and I will have to pay it no exceptions as it state that in my customer agreement. I told her so is the fact that they have to provide a service that works for us and holds up to what we agreed to pay for.
She continued to tell me that I have to pay the 475.00 and that is not an option. She day have a good day and hung up on me. If you rely on internet service to make a living i Highly recommend you look elsewhere. The service truly sucks, it's even worse when there is any type of weather. I have satellite TV and I don't lose the service when I lose the internet due to weather. They will to work with you in regards to their lack of ability to provide the service we pay for.

I was very happy with the installation of my Hughesnet Internet service. He looked over my home to decide exactly where to install the dish, and where to enter the house to make is easy for installing the modem.. Tech was very knowable in his work and completed timely.

This young lady was very patient and knowledgeable. Why do we still have Hughes Net after 6 years? Because we always get to talk to a live person, are never put on hold, have uninterrupted service even in snow and rain. This issue was because PGE blackouts due to high fire danger in calif. We are over 70 yrs seniors and she made the instructions easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable. We appreciate you.

I was told that a hotspot would help with my telephone reception and it doesn’t and that it could help with my internet speed as well. I paid an extra $100.00 for nothing. I am not please with the service. However the young lady I spoke to was nice. I am sorry I cannot return your hotspot for a credit to my bill.

I started to get as many as 5 copies of EACH email each post. I spent over 2 hours online with service and never got a correction. After several days it started getting better. Was fine for a while but now I'm back to getting 2 or 3 copies of each. I will not call again, just delete all the extras. Don't want to deal with customer service again.

We have called twice about this issue and when we are on the phone with the rep the streaming gets better but after we hang up the streaming gets bad again. Not sure what to do at this point. The reps seem knowledgeable but hasn’t fixed our issue. We seem to have adequate download speed but isn’t working.

Works better than Spectrum.... Spectrum was a nightmare from day one. The installation went perfect. My phone service is very good. I am so glad I am using Hughes net for my phone company. I am so glad that I made the switch over, and yes I would recommend Hughes net to all my friends.

It took a bit of time, but I was able to get my new Debit Card Number approved (my old number got hacked and I had to quickly close the old card number), and pay the Hughesnet bill. Hughesnet people were very courteous and patient, and we worked together so that our Hughesnet bill/invoice was paid.

Representative listened to my problem and realized right away what the problem was. I had reached the limit on my data and my internet was going really slow. She showed me how to get my free tokens and my prepaid tokens. She also informed me that I may purchase tokens if I did not to change my data plan.

Everyone I spoke with was very professional. Everyone spoke English very well, which means a lot when I have hearing issues. Service was speedy and well done. The only issue I have is that the net service buffers all the time with YouTube and Netflix.

When I called Hughes Net on Oct 8th, I was treated very well and I received my request right away in getting my dish readjusted right away after a new roof was installed. The technician was extremely courteous and he raised my reception from 62 to 98. Was very proficient and showed me what he had done. I am pleased.

I didn't realize that the internet would go off and on. Especially in bad or even cloudy weather. It doesn't work nearly as well as I expected. The TV doesn't get as good a reception as we had hoped for. It buffers a lot. My phone always says loading, slow internet. It doesn't work much better than what we had and a lot more expensive. I am very disappointed. And it is even saying bad connection while I am writing this statement. I am having a very difficult time trying to send it!!

After changing many settings with your Tech. In Northern Ontario, she did a Speedtest and the speed was 29 MBPS. Within a short time later, it became extremely slow to the point where Speedtest stalled repeatedly. Now my connection says I have weak security. The Tech (who was very nice) had me change those settings as well. I didn’t realize how little data 10 Gigs is. Perhaps I should change my sleeping habits in order to get more data? In any case, I have ordered the dreaded Comcast/Xfiniky (not sic) and it looks like I’ll have this cute ornament on my roof for 2 more years. Although that “dribble” of data over my monthly data allotment isn’t good for many things, it may be of some use.

I am concerned with how fast streaming burns through my allotted gigs. I send/receive texts, emails, and shop online using my cell phone and tablet. Although I alone use the HughesNet allotted gigs, except some Saturdays when my grandson visits, I have very few gigs in my package deal to stream movies on NetFlix or Amazon Prime. I should be able to stream more than a couple movies each month without concern of running short on gigs. I increased my package deal in recent months but refuse to also purchase extra time above and beyond that.

Had to call two days in a row because it wouldn’t load even the simplest app and both times was told that everything was good on your end but I still have to unplug the system for a minute and a half then let it reboot so that it will finally work. I shouldn’t have to do this every other day or more but I do because no one seems to care. Even couldn’t send this because of connection lost.

WiFi was not available at our cottage in Northeast of Michigan's Thumb area. My wife is a writer and needs to be in contact with clients at all hours of day. With Hughes Sat WiFi we can go to the cottage knowing she can communicate with clients. Our teenage granddaughter can go the cottage and not have to go through social media withdrawal! It has been reliable and a welcome addition to our "up-north" experience.

Our phone service has been a problem for lots of the time we have had it. I have talked with your office but can not get the little box, that was attached when agent came, to connect right. I just want to stop the phone service BUT was told I had not had long enough. I believe I had for several months. I like the internet service tho. I am very happy w/ Hughes! Salvador was our installer & has been out here several times! He jumps right in & gets the job done & is very respectful of us older people! Recently I gave him a negative review but I feel I had done so in haste! If he had come into close contact w/ us he would have worn a mask. He installed our modem outside in a cubby hole in our camper so it wouldn’t take up so much room & he wouldn’t have to into contact w/ us! The router is closest to my room so I have no issues with my connection. At least its connection. My previous provider went out and stayed out for days. But across the house isn't very good. Doesn't get very good connection it seems if you are running multiple things at a time.

We had called to get our satellite moved or raised up higher so it is not blocking the outdoor light so we can see walking at night. They told us it would be &125 to move it or we would have to do it ourselves! We don’t want to go with a different internet company but we may have to just so we can get the satellite out of the way.

Never achieved the speeds I was promised. Can't even provide reliable phone service for their employees. All of this company's faulty equipment, inadequate phone service for Hughes Net employees so there is no way to even be heard but none of this happened until I paid. Hello, I signed up for Hughesnet in July, I was told that due to my internet needs this service will be provided for me. I have never once received good internet after several times troubleshooting and working with different technical support. I was also told by the highest level of help that what I had done earlier was a "waste of time" and "would not actually help my internet issues". I have been lied to and treated awfully and they are still charging me for a service I have not been given. This is the worst company. I sure hope I can help someone not make the same mistake I did and help them NEVER sign up for this so called internet service.

Hughes Network is a scam. We pay a lot of money for poor internet service. Even though we pay more for more usage time it still runs through our time very fast each month. Why can’t we watch Netflix without it taking up so much of our usage? What is wrong with this service which charges so much money but we have to turn everything off so it does not eat up our usage time. We are stuck using Hughes Network because of where we live, so I guess they can take advantage of their customers by providing poor internet service and charge a lot of money. We cannot even work from home or have Zoom calls. It is pathetic. This review does not reflect tech support. They have been very helpful.

I called in to get assistance in getting extra tokens of data. I wanted to find out if I could pay for it at the time of the request and not have to wait until my billing date. I tried to do it online but couldn't see how to do it. I asked the customer service person to help me and let me know how to do it on the website. He was very helpful and also helped me find my month to month data usage on the website. He helped me secure the data purchase and was very informative on how the usage updated so I could understand my rate of usage. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because I could not get an unlimited data plan - it is not offered. The customer service person was helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and clear in his explanations.

We originally purchased a modem from our cell phone provider and were actually surprised at how well it sufficed...until COVID! Ads are just come ons, once you have the service then they tell you that your unlimited data runs out, so to say you 25 MB isn't true, Seems you run out of data just a few weeks into the month, then you get 1-5 MB, not even enough to watch a movie. Furthermore Gen 5 isn't compatible with Netflix, they don't tell you that till you try to watch it.

Despite some misinformation on the part of the service techs prior to my call on Monday, my Gen 5 modem is working well. The underlying problem were not discovered in prior calls, so a tech was going to come out Monday to adjust the dish. That was not necessary. I work online and lost two days of internet that I was depending on. I expect my bill will reflect those loss of service days.

So, I live in a rural area. My current provider can only deliver 6 mbps. Very slow for my needs, but beggars can't be choosers. Today I decided beggars can be choosers, as long as there is another possible option. The other option for me was HughesNet. So I gave them a call. I was connected to a very nice customer service rep. She was able to answer most of my questions and made a very good offer for installation and internet service. I explained I wanted to share all the information with my wife and would call them back if we both agreed that was the best option.
She then transferred me to her manager. He was a whiz that was able to answer every question I had in detail. I felt good about moving forward with them. However, I still wanted to discuss the issue with my wife so we could make a decision we both agreed upon. It was then that the very high pressure sales tactics began. I felt like I was trapped in a timeshare sales office with no doors out. He literally would not let me off the phone without making a commitment. I told him I needed to get off the phone and he said I can't let you do that. I actually felt I had no other option other than to hang up. Which I did. I will not use their service. They had the sale and high pressure tactics lost it. Very sad experience.

I must say that I'm disappointed in HughesNet. I live in an area with remote service and I trusted on HughesNet to deliver excellent service like they claim. Instead the service was slow and their customer service was very poor. When my contract ended, I cancelled my service with their Tech Department. Next thing I know, I was still being charged for data I was not using. Even after I emailed them & spoke to one of their Techs. I was told their system is limited & they could not recover the correspondence. HughesNet was not able to give me a full refund. I will never use their service again.

Internet is unacceptably slow. I was promised it would be able to stream movies, but repeated long buffering breaks makes that a tedious bore. Voice recognition on the phone does not work and that makes any service call frustrating. When I signed up for this service the agent did not tell me there was a time limit on a seasonal pause in service, nor that the contract was suspended during that time. That means I am trapped in a bad contract with terrible service for years to come. Hughes misrepresents its service and fails to make good on promises.

My HughesNet streaming service has been very very poor for a long long time. Netflix and Amazon Prime have streaming have been getting worse and worse with pixely imaging, and buffering shut-offs until about a month or two ago the ability to stream anything has halted with the "circle of death" staying on the screen indefinitely until a SLOW INTERNET SPEED notice comes up on my TV. I finally called HughesNet in disgust and the Service Tech said I was being clocked at "5" (G-Bites?) download speed and most customers receive 20+ download speed. He had me log in to a site on my phone and we changed the channels for the two speeds of download and that boosted the streaming service to 8 which was still insufficient to stream anything.
I have had lousy service off and on with HughesNet for years and this takes the cake. Assuming with all the kids and adults now working and schooling from home the bandwidth is simply not there to keep up. If that is the case I should be receiving a rebate or reduced monthly rate as I am not getting what I have been paying for.

Hughes Net basically stole my money. I haven’t had service in over 2 months when all of a sudden they took $218 out of my account. The excuse was I did return a part of the that was on the satellite. They said I should climb on the roof and take it off. So they advised me to do something dangerous. Most people won't do that so they just take your money.

We are raising two grandchildren that are doing virtual classes and our internet is important as is our budget????

We disconnected our land line of 20 years and now only have cell phones but the account was set up with the land line because at that time I did not yet have a cell phone. I spoke with a Hughesnet representative and he fixed it instantly with no problem. Now my cell phone number is the number associated with my account and will be recognized when calling. The process was fast and easy.

I was without internet for 12 days. He was very professional in all ways and very efficient and fast. It was fixed in a matter of no time. Very happy with the results, it's better than ever. I would give the tech a rating between 1-10, 1 being the worse and 10 the better. He would get a 10 from me. Thank you.

I have been happy with Hughes. The young man who made the install was very courteous and made sure that I understood how everything worked. I did have a problem saying I wasn't connected, contacted Hughes and they would be out the next morning. The next morning when I checked the problem had resolved itself.

Had some problems with call dropping, call tech service and they said it was something about the internet connection, and misunderstanding about the real problem. Waited for part but it was never mail and no one told me until I call again.

You all do try diligently to help when it is needed. Your payment system is user friendly. Internet out in the sticks could be a challenge but you all help a lot. There isn't much you can do about storms or a level of wildfire smoke that is toxic, but you try. Thank you.

My internet is no faster than it was before and the wi-fi when on Netflix is buffering a lot. I've had the technical support people working on it twice now. We've tried different setups and there is no improvement. Wish I'd never got this thing.

The technicians provided the necessary procedure and introduced us to an upgrade opportunity which we opted to take. They explained how to make the return of the older equipment and left the router and radio with all other components packed neatly together. Very professional.

I am very disappointed with the price v service. I am forced to use HughesNet because apparently Hughesnet/DIRETV has a monopoly on the service in my area. In other words, I had no choice of services available even though other sources could have been had. So, with that said, the service was poor quality to non-existent most of the time and I paid $164 a month. Ridiculous charges for such bad service.

I wish I would have read some reviews of Hughesnet before being sold on service that they have never been able to provide. They don’t provide what we paid for and dealing with their customer service has been more challenging than any other service I’ve ever dealt with. When their customer service tried to fix the problem by increasing our speed “at no additional cost”, which she repeated multiple times, they sent over a new invoice, adding $40 to the monthly bill. They record these conversations so they could track this lie. When the increased speed didn’t work, the customer service rep transferred me to technical support. After holding for another 20 minutes, the technical support team said that anything they did would require additional charges, which was insane.
Their service doesn’t work and never has, and I have to pay additional charges for technical support? I asked to be transferred back to customer support to complain about this. They informed me that nobody in their “complimentary” technical support was available until after the weekend. We wasted our money and this service is absolutely worthless!! It has never delivered as promised. Stay very very very far away from Hughesnet! They are by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with On service and customer/tech support.!

Great to work with. Doesn't take 2 hrs on the phone. So far so good. Have had any issues so far, slow sometimes. But it is satellite. I imagine it's like any other satellite service, goes out in bad weather. At least, I can call the next town, and it didn't add $112, to my bill.

I had suspended my account for 6 months then had to suspend it again for another 6 months because of Covid 19. I had received a notification that it was going to resume again. I was worried that I was going to have to pay for the service even though I wasn't going to be there to use it. NO PROBLEM. They suspended it again and said call back in 6 months if the suspension had to continue. So easy peasy. THANK YOU.

This is a much better satellite service than Dish. It is much more constant in service than Dish. We are using a 30 gig service and find it is adequate for our monthly need/use. Our opinion it is a little higher priced than we feel is a fair price for this service. But it is better than the previous Dish service and we are rural with no other option for what internet service.

I cannot express just how bad my Hughesnet internet quality is. I can't even watch a movie or show on amazon prime. Since I had been working from home, I had hughesnet installed as an "upgrade" to my DSL connection, and to my surprise, even DSL is much superior to hughesnet.

I called on 10/06/2020 about my HughesNet bill and why it was so high this month and the representative that I spoke with said that my promotion for $25.00 was over. He offered me 3 months of the promotion of $25.00 from November to January and my payments will be 61.84 for next 3 months and I am suppose to get a refund of $25.00 posted back to my debit card ending in **. Our rate went from $42+ to 71+. We called up and our rate was adjusted back to $42+, but for only 3 months. Why is it that your "deals" for existing customers are only for 3 months? I feel like the movie Groundhog! HELP!

After realigning router service then stopped. When calling had to make service call because of lack of service. 7 days later got call on voip phone when system was down, all of a sudden system is up and running. Seems like somebody shut a, service and made a big mistake, it was mine. System was up and running full strength.

Well it is great but when you start go back in a day or 3 and make you have you signed up for I did not. I said I need 10 gb $48.00 plan. She said ok. But she email me 2 or 3 mounts and said, "You have 20 gb plan at $97.00." Hughesnet got $255.00. I did not look. You better look.

We are getting a new roof and I was disappointed that it would cost money. I am sure many have to have this done if the dish is mounted to the roof. We should have been told this at the beginning of our service.

Although the internet it’s great for my house necessities the customer service is the worst. The last time I have to spent more than 20 days and like 16 calls to be helped. Then no matter that al the time without service I have to paid for the complete month. Also they charge to me for the extra tokens that I bought thinking that this was the issue with the service. I do not here any other internet options in my area.

While the Internet is fairly good Streaming Video programs is still very poor. I have used Hughes Support two times and only marginal improvement is evident. I can hardly receive or hear news programs from CBS all access through Fire TV or other live programs. Connection also is very slow.

HughesNet gives the best customer service. We have a cabin in the high Uinta Mountains in Utah at 9000 ft elevation. We had our 4 children from NYC spend 3-4 months at the cabin during COVID-19. They were all able to ZOOM simultaneously to their jobs in NYC. HughesNet saved their lives and jobs!! Thank you so much!!

I got the help I needed. Could the call have been better? Yes. But it resulted in the same conclusion I received the help I needed. I'm not really sure what else could have been done to make it better. Online was not an option so a call had to do the job.

Very informative about the capabilities of our internet out here in a rural location. It is slow but usually steady. So now I can use the internet more effectively. There is nothing else I can say. They even explained Zoom. Now I know it won’t work out here. My sister is a teacher. It would nice to have it though.

I was pleased with the time it took to take my wi-fi off vacation hold so when I got back home the wi-fi was already on and ready form to use my computer. One call and in a few minutes it was done. No transferring me to a lot of different people as some sites do. It was fast and easy.
