Last month, I called GoDaddy to buy 1 year of website hosting. I told them I wanted website hosting that was optimized for Wordpress. The salesman sold me Linux hosting. He did not offer me the "Deluxe Wordpress Hosting" plan they offer. I found out 34 days later that the Godaddy salesman sold me the wrong hosting plan. I immediately called them to be asked to switched to the correct plan, which is EXACTLY the same price as the inappropriate plan they sold me. They refused to switch me to the proper hosting plan and they also refused to offer me a refund because I called 34 days after the purchase and I was supposed to call within 30 days. So now I am stuck for almost 3 years with a hosting plan my website developer does not want to work with. This is highly unethical behavior on the part of GoDaddy. Avoid dealing with GoDaddy at all costs. This company is going downhill rapidly. This is the second time I have been ripped off by GoDaddy.

Two years ago, they screw 16,000 emails - they disappeared. This year, I made sure they assured me that my site was safe w/ a backup. App 2 weeks before my site expired I paid to renew. Today, I realize that I had NO website. It was all wiped out, except for the main photo and my name. The "expert" tech told me that the ThemeLove was to be renewed and that it had nothing to do with them.

I called back but this time the person who answers the phone told me that he can fix it for me!! So it only took 2 minutes! He asked me to go to "back up" and just scroll back to the date that I wanted. I suspect that the expert tech is ignorant or wants me to pay them to "fix" it. They charge $60 and that is the minimum. I did not need anyone. He could have told me to go to back up and click the date... just like the other guy when I phoned again. THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS. Also, if you want leave, ensure to LET THEM KNOW ONE MONTH EARLIER, OR THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!

DO NOT HOST WITH GODADDY. Godaddy is a bunch of shady ** that will charge you more than what you paid if you tried to cancel. First, if you plan on using their email servers DON'T BOTHER. GODADDY'S EMAIL SERVERS HAVE BEEN BLOCKED BY ALMOST EVERY COMPANY FOR SPAMMING. When you complain to Godaddy about this, they are like "so what you paid just $12" for the hosting. If you Google the problem with blocked email servers, you'll see complaint after complaint after complaint. Cheap hosting yeah, but they want to steal your money and keep you with a worthless account. Paid $12 for an email server and that's it. Website just to send and receive emails. Couldn't do that because this SOBs spam everybody and everything in sight. So when you go to cancel within your rights, 30 days. They want to charge you a ridiculous undisclosed price of $14.99 saying that that's what it costs them to register the domain.

Godaddy is the biggest shadiest company we have known. Their server performance sucks, you can't do backups with your own software. Your site gets slow and then faster, then times out. Godaddy is nothing more than a bunch of lying bS artists for the fact that they want to charge you $14.99 for the domain name registration and only charge you $12.18 for the domain and hosting? Really, lying SOBs. You would not be offering free domain registration if it costs you $14.99 and you're charging customers $12. It's just another lying excuse for fraud this company wants to do. Will be contacting my credit card company and dispute the charges. So Godaddy be prepared to pay for chargeback fees!

I wanted to purchase a domain so I went to Google - learned Google does not own domains. They sell them third party so I went with GoDaddy through Google (by recommendation of a classmate). I built my site through G Suite sites and the nice Google rep walked me through to set it up to supposedly start populating - which, to date it has not populated. I have to wait for this to begin marketing and I'm on a week and still nothing. In the interim I have had several conversations with GoDaddy - nice people but their product simply doesn't work. If I wanted a free site to populate I wouldn't of gone this route. Very Frustrated and will never use them again.

The last site I used was through NetIDNow.com and the second I hit publish I was live. I didn't use them again solely for financial reasons (they are reasonable at $20 per month) - unfortunately a dissolving partnership left me scraping the bottom of the barrel. I see my only alternative at this juncture is to go back to NetIDNow.

My website was unavailable for access by anyone for three months. I only now became aware of the situation. I called GoDaddy customer service. Someone on their staff had re-entered an old e-mail address of mine. They also had my correct e-mail address, however, notices about my account were being sent to my old e-mail address to which I no longer had access. Everything was corrected today, but GoDaddy refused to give me credit for the three months that my site was unavailable. Instead, they blamed me and said I must have entered the information incorrectly! No way would I enter an e-mail address on my account that was inactive for more than two years. Worst customer service ever. Will definitely not renew when my contract is up.

If you don't renew your account, they will completely delete everything that you've worked hard to create. I created a GoDaddy account a few years back, I could no longer afford to pay for a domain, but thought it would convert to a free account like other websites offer. I received emails they were going to sell the domain name which I was fine with. However, they not only deleted the domain but the entire website and all the work that I had put into creating it. Not only that. Everything, that had my business name on it via the web world before I used GoDaddy is gone as well, including any google searches. I would never recommend anyone using this site for a website or to manage their domain. Their only interest is how to make "MONEY" off consumers! They could care less about your hard work.

I have my hosting of all my domains with Godaddy. I reached my file limit. I contacted Godaddy several times to assist me, not being a tech person, what I can do to solve the problem. Tell me where these files are and which category of files is causing the problem. After 3-4 calls at different times and only yesterday I received guidance regarding the problem. Every time telling me their job was not that of a Web Developer. I did not ask them to do the job of a Web Developer - I was asking for guidance on how to solve the problem. The arrogance is what upsets me calling Godaddy. Every time I am on the phone you have to explain the same problem. Also every time I call +1 480 505 8877 it is at my cost - when holding the line, it is at my cost. Godaddy consultants attitude is bad. Where is the days where the customer is #1?

My website did not show up well. I contacted Godaddy. I was told on the first call that it is due to the file limit that is why the pictures are not showing. After I reduced the file size I called back. Immediately I was told that my account reached the file limit. At that time I knew that the file size was about 243+ thousand which was less than 250,000 the required limit. It took me getting angry and showing frustration for the person to look at what was really the problem. When I made the first call, no real investigation was done to solve the problem. This second time I was not going to let it go. My website is not showing pictures. My website is key to my business. Are they not getting it? Finally the problem was discovered. It had nothing to do with the file size, the Wordpress had a different domain name attached to it. So, there you go. The problem solved. But what did it take to solve the problem? Energy and time wasted!

I have a sense that Godaddy interest is not the client. At least their first priority is not customer satisfaction. Their business activity is sneaky and deliberate. Why do I say that! Under my Deluxe Plan I have 100 emails I am allowed to receive. I did not renew my unlimited email plan thinking that I can still get the 100 emails. What Godaddy did was remove all my email accounts that are active under the domain name that I am using. They left the email accounts that I have not used. I run a business, so I can't communicate with my customers because my active email accounts was literally removed. This was deliberate because in this way they forced me to renew my unlimited email subscription. This I call crafty and bad business. Also tantamount to a lack of integrity.

The bottom line - Godaddy is not helping businesses become successful so that they can in turn help Godaddy be successful. Godaddy instead provides very poor customer service that makes you feel you have to constantly fight with them to get your point across. This accompanied with bad manners, speaking while you are trying to explain and making you think you don't' know what you are talking about. Within the next month, I will remove all my domains from Godaddy to avoid unnecessary future stress. Also, my business is no longer in safe hands.

I need to write about what I'm going thru with these guys to keep other people from spending time in this services. THE MANAGED SUPPORT ACTUALLY IS A GUY TRYING TO SELL YOU FULLY MANAGED SUPPORT. On service compare when you purchase their dedicated scam they didnt state what includes each plan so be warned actually with managed support. You'll end doing everything yourself.

EMAIL RELAYERS - Seems somehow even if you have a full dedicated server, they will get your emails thru several email server they administrate, so dedicated is now a pool for all other people sending emails. Lots of these servers are blacklisted and it's almost impossible to get support to investigate bounces. They will only tell you to keep trying sending in 15 minutes as the relayers rotate IPs... This is unacceptable for dedicated but it didnt end there. After making you spend time on support chat you will end with the same question you begin spending hours and hours of blah blah and no REAL SOLUTIONS. Most of their relayers are blacklisted and not rotated/solved so you'll end without sending real emails to real world, Hotmail, Gmail will fail lots of time...

Today for example I get support answer that I need to check my server security as it was compromised somehow... I reviewed server and sent summaries. They told me I send 16000 emails but their same stats showed only 2000 so these guys will look at any excuse to throw the ball to you or try to sell you fully managed support to get some decent admin to answer your questions... People on support are or not will to help... No one on all the support tickets I've sent for more than a year had responded or reviewed IP blacklists on their relayers. They will not give even a try to help you.

SNAPSHOT - Keep away from this recovery option. My server was hacked as no one in support tried to help in any of the 20 times I communicate to support and ask them for security help. It seemed somehow I followed all the CPanel guidelines to keep hacker away from shell and exploiting server. Also had cxs solution to mark all rare usage. Even with all that measures and lots of hours setting security, we get to fatality on our "dedicated plan", so I asked them to let me know the last recovery snapshot they had.

Already tried to bill me 150 USD for recovering their snapshot so I went to my snapshot taken a few days earlier. Well to recover 800gb of data it has taken about 9 days... This is a totally joke as I manage 120 accounts in there... So let all the end users they will not have a server as the SNAPSHOT that should work in minutes takes most than a week... I had to convince all the 120 end clients to recreate their blank accounts, emails and that soon it will be an option to copy all websites as the VPS Snapshot is a scam. I dont even want to try their BACKUP solutions as read they will charge you for each account recovery too. NICE DONE... (mental note: I do really need to start looking to Amazon and Azure. Microsoft people if you really read this it would be nice to provide an Azure vps plan that includes CPanel... please note that.)

Keep away from these please, lose your time in anything other than this service as no one assures quality and live chat reviews are not taken seriously... Maybe they have too much work to respond you or maybe give you support... Actually they dont have a support email for writing. You need to wait to chat support to work and it doesnt work 24/7. It's just 8/5 if you get lucky to enable the CHAT BUTTON.

Usually the auto-renewal is set for 2 or 3 years down the road, so you won't notice until you see a payment receipt. I called in 2 times to cancel (and confirmed by customer service) in a 5 year span. It never sticks! There's always another auto-renew notice after. I asked to terminate my account on the phone a couple years ago, but I'm still getting billed! WTH. I filed a complaint with Paypal, Godaddy and now I'm going to BBB.org.

As I mentioned in my review, the manager never called me back. However, on Friday 4/7/2017, I received 3 emails saying I was getting refunds for the 3 years. Sure enough, I checked the credit card and found 3 refunds on my account. It was 100% of the first 2 years and about 95% of the first year. So, I never got a call back but GoDaddy did the right thing in the end.

On 4/1/15 I paid GoDaddy $1,151.15 for a website. I had several very long phone calls with their website development people. Their web forms did not fit my business size or model. I couldn't get anywhere. One derogatory employee sent me a link to build one myself. UGH. The next year on 4/1/16 they hit my card again for $1,151.15 and I started asking for a website and got nowhere. I even sent them an example of a site I wanted. I asked multiple times for a refund. I never got either.

I got hit again today for $1,151.15 and called. This time they said they would refund this charge. I asked about the other $2302.15 they took and was told they could do nothing about it. I asked them to talk to a supervisor to make this right. They should give me site. He put me on hold for a while then came back and said that no supervisors were available. He said they would call me. This is just like the last 2 years. GoDaddy are the worst. Stay far away. Any company would be better than them.

Our experience with GoDaddy has been terrible. I will give one example, but my last statement reflects many specific experiences. On their recommendation, we transferred a website that was hosting by them to a "greater and better" hosting plan because it was to be faster. We had three weeks of nightmares with the website being down because the new hosting plan would not accept the old website design. It took over three weeks for someone at GoDaddy to confirm that and then we had to return the old website to the older hosting plan. You can not trust anything that a person tells you. The next time you call you get a different story that negates anything that you were told previously.

GoGaddy is an actual crime ring. I have been an investigator for 31 years and can tell you they are trained to rip people off and do exactly the OPPOSITE of what you tell them. Here is several examples (facts). I spoke to a man this morning who was telling me I was paying way too much money and if I consolidated I could save thousands with GoDaddy. Lie #1. I then contacted GoDaddy a second time and spoke to Devin who advised me about my interests in their e-commerce product. I was advised that I would get a discount if I signed up right away and could not use a discount they send me via email everyday. I also inquired about the auto-renew for my domains and told them I was getting rid of much more after deleting about 40 others to date. He told me to check off on the auto-renew on the domain page and that would solve the problem.

Another rep. showed me a page where all my domains were listed and to click the "all" button to take them (93) domains off of auto-renew. GoDaddy sent emails where I found some disturbing information and then looked at all invoices where they charged me nearly $6,000 today to renew my domains each for 4 years. They also charged me $291.00 for something else, I have no clue about. When I called back livid as I wasted about 2 hours, I asked for a supervisor and got a guy named Keith. The SOB was abusive, abrupt, nasty and would not let me get a word in. Did not care that I was a customer of 18 years. This is outright theft and deception not to mention the horrible business practices of GoDaddy. I took some time to do research on this company and they are littered with enormous amounts of complaints, rip off reports, etc. The company needs to be accountable for their actions just like anyone else.

They cannot arbitrarily punish you for not accepting a million phone calls... Web host should be seen... not heard from. I served 20 years in the military, have MS. And what do they want to do, the only thing that makes my symptoms worse, create stress for me. Again, I am researching if there is a law firm willing to investigate the merit for a class action suit against Godaddy. Their actions and business model are predatory, harassing and illegal... That is my opinion, let's see if it rises to level we can seek legal recourse...

Poor, poor customer service and can only think inside the little boxes their brains are kept in. Will never use Godaddy again and want to warn others they are not there to truly help you.

Godaddy should face a class action lawsuit for selling the personal information of its customers. I have been a customer of GoDaddy for several years and during that time I have seen a deterioration in their services and I have witnessed GoDaddy partake in highly questionable, unethical business practices. My trust level now with GoDaddy is at an all time low and I will be moving ALL of my services to another provider. I am of the opinion now that Godaddy is a very unethical, unscrupulous company ran by very ruthless, morally deficient people. I would suggest to members of the public reading these reviews that you would be better off avoiding GoDaddy entirely.

My main complaint now is that today I awoke to find all of my personal, private information which is under my Godaddy profile listed publicly on both Google and Yahoo (the two search engines I managed to check) with all of my Godaddy domains. How did these people get this information? They even have my nameserver DNS records from GoDaddy as well. They had so much detailed information on me (all taken from my Godaddy account) that Godaddy had to be complicit in this. I have domains which do not have privacy on them with competitors of GoDaddy and none of those domains were listed. It was only my Godaddy domains.

Every single one with my personal Godaddy profile information. I also know Godaddy was involved with this because the information under my 'whois' registrant information is different than the information I provided under my personal GoDaddy profile. I used a different address and phone number. But the website prominently displayed my PERSONAL address and cell phone number and not the information listed under my domain registration. GoDaddy reps had no answers for me. They were and are clueless. I believe these predatory business practices, these unethical, immoral and potentially illegal business practices are taking place at the top of the chain at Godaddy.

Godaddy should face a class action lawsuit for selling the personal information of its customers. Regardless of what Godaddy says, this website had very specific, very detailed information on me which was gleaned from my Godaddy personal profile. I went to the BBB site which oddly gives Godaddy an A+ rating even though it shows that Godaddy has 95% NEGATIVE reviews and only 4% positive reviews and I saw many other recent complaints from people alleging that Godaddy has recently sold their personal information because their home addresses and personal cellphone numbers are now displaying along with their Godaddy website information on public websites instead of the information they had listed under their registrant tab for the domains.

Godaddy has done so much wick stuff to its own customers in an effort to quickly increase its profits and add to its bottom line. I have seen Godaddy remove script that comes standard in most websites (even the free ones such as Blogger and Wordpress) that automatically formats the site for Mobile and Social Media and then turn around and charge customers to get that same script added back into the site.

Godaddy has removed free emails that I had on my sites and used for years which came with the domain purchase and suddenly out of nowhere (again to try and quickly increase its profits) Godaddy would go into its database and remove those emails. Shocked I called up to Godaddy when I found the emails no longer working and was told by Godaddy's lying reps 'oh you never ever had those emails free' even though even though I had been using them for years and had communicated several times throughout the years with various GoDaddy reps who had confirmed I had those emails as long as I had the domain. Godaddy basically took back what it promised. Out the blue. Conveniently to force me into a highly priced email plan.

Godaddy's websites are so glitchy and I had so many problems with them not displaying correctly on social media and not being formatted for mobile that I had to move them to other competitors of Godaddy. The sites would display blank squares on Facebook instead of the site page or portions of the template such as a black square with no words, etc. Godaddy's own agents never took responsibility for this and chose to constantly blame the website developers and the only thing Godaddy's agents could do was take a snapshot of my webpage and save it. Problem is it never ever changed so no matter how many changes I made to my site, the homepage would always show just a picture. Not any words or anything. This was ridiculous.

To those people on here who paid THOUSANDS to get Godaddy to build their sites you have my sympathies as well. Godaddy's websites are terrible and their so called 'developers' don't know what the hell they are doing. I think they are lowly paid workers in India who are more than likely overworked and not very skilled as well. To all who are thinking of doing business with Godaddy I suggest you run in the opposite direction. Godaddy is an awful company in my opinion and one that cannot be trusted.

They monopolize domains and I have reason to believe they bid on their own domains to raise your prices, charge you to monitor the domains you want and don't do much monitoring at all. I did receive a 25 dollar refund for their so called domain monitoring service. With all this said, this type of service that borderline holds peoples licensed business names hostage, so to speak, should be outlawed by some legislative action in the form of a consumer protection act.

One of my clients is a vet office, and they were surprised that some charges showed up on their credit card they did not request, when we specifically requested for them NOT to save the credit card info. The website page to delete the credit card info was cumbersome and had verbiage that made it sound like you would lose your service if you did delete the credit card, which was not the case.

On Nov 29, 2016 I was charged $2649.90 to start building a professional website. On Dec 14, 2016 I received an email with a link to preview the initial website build… asking to review and submit changes. Changes would be complete in 7 business days. Since Dec 14, 2016 and Jan 25, 2017, I've called GoDaddy 10 times to discuss the status of the website build, sent several screenshots of what changes were to be made and spoke with 10 different people in the website build group. All the people stated at the time of my phone calls said they’d look into why the revisions/changes weren’t happening… All verbally promised that in 2 to 3 business days or by such and such a date, I'd have a chance to review the changes. Another preview did materialize, but several changes hadn't been made… So additional phone calls were made.

From my perspective, I felt that the continuity of the project was lost after talking to a different person each time. It appeared they’d only review the most current notes but didn’t know the history of what was happening. On January 19, Monica started a new ticket and I was told I’d have something Tuesday, Jan 24. Called Jan 24, still no revisions had been done… Told by Randi it would take 7 days to Monday, Jan 30… I said that was unacceptable… She came back and said it would be expedited… and to expect a phone call and email at the end of the day Wednesday, Jan 25. Called Jan 25 end of day and Joseph said, "Let me check to see what the projected completion date is…" Then said, "it won’t be done until Friday, Jan 27… will try to expedite."

I decided today, Thursday, Jan 26… enough is enough. Called Go Daddy Jan 26 to request a refund. Was told initially, that the project was past 30 days and that no refund was in order… I explained that I had paid $2649.90 for a website build and didn't have a website… Serenity, then spoke with a manager and I was then told GoDaddy would issued a refund of $1899.90 less $750 service fee…

When I said that I paid money for a product and didn’t receive the product… I felt that I should be entitled to a full refund. Serenity said company policy ("did I read the Terms & Conditions?")… that GoDaddy charges a 30% service fee and did I want the $1899.90 refund. I said, "Yes." I'm mailing a letter to Go Daddy Customer Care, 14455 North Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 to request an additional refund of $500... But I'm not holding my breath. I'd highly recommend to anyone to steer clear of Go Daddy Website Design Build group. Lesson learned? Review businesses before paying money.

I have been with Godaddy since February 2006 and starting 3 maybe 4 years ago I have seen the company and their services decline year after year. From the wait times on the phone to the unhelpful customer service reps when my sites and client sites are with issues. Every time I have an issue (which is almost monthly if not every couple weeks) I am always the one that figures the problem out but only after spending hours and overnights working on it for my clients. I have to figure it out because Godaddy always puts the blame on the Wordpress Platform or an email account or software they sell (Office 365) but do not support if an issue. Basically every call I place to Godaddy is a waste of my time, but I have to call because I am in hopes they will assist me this one time with the problem and actually fix it rather than waste my time.

Yesterday I had to place 4 calls to Godaddy. Today I placed one so far. Each time the wait time was over an hour. The 2nd call I requested a callback. I get that callback only to be placed on hold by the system for another 15-30 minutes. I had to hang up waiting 20 minutes for an actual person to pick up because who has 24 hours to talk to a provider you are paying thousands of dollars a year to use their products. Ridiculous.

I have many clients and they and I have a lot of domains, hosting, email hosted at Godaddy. Therefore, I am stuck unless I pay a boatload to transfer everything off. If you are new DO NOT USE GODADDY. I am warning you now as a customer for over 10 years. They will only tell you to buy this or upgrade this when there is a problem. This happened yesterday, but the rep assured me he wasn't pushing anything on me just letting me know my options. None of their products work the way they should. Horrible company, service, products and I will be slowly moving to a new service provider that gives me what I pay and what works instead of making me pay then put in hundreds of hours fixing issues that shouldn't happen in the first place.

I closed a business of 7 years after welcoming our first baby boy. I contacted Godaddy.com over a year ago to make certain no automatic charges would occur on my visa business card after closing down my site. It's been over a year since I closed my website and have not had any access to webmail and the site is down. After selling off equipment I finally close down my visa business card, line of credit. I pay it off, which takes about 24-48 hours to finalize the closing process.

Assuming all is said and done I check back in with the bank after the holidays to find the visa did not close, because out of the blue after no contact with this company for over a year, godaddy, withdrew 500.00 from my visa within that 24-48 hour period of the card closing. So, I contact godaddy to see what this is all about. I was shocked, because for 7 years, I never paid them more than 150.00 annually for their service. They say that they had some policy changes, emailed me about them to a web address that has NOT existed for over a year and though my site was closed there are still URL's out there for a business I no longer have.

I told them I never authorized that payment, and would not have paid that amount for a business that no longer exists, let alone one that does. I also reinforced that they assured me everything was closed and my final payment to them was the last. They claimed it's their new policy and I did not receive the new policy info because I no longer have access to the webmail that I closed down with them. These guys are crookedly and unethically trying to find loopholes to take unauthorized funds. I assured them that. They were clear with me about closing down my site and anything related to my business and all business associated with Godaddy.

It was hard enough letting go of a business I built from the ground up, but finally paying off my dues, to find out they are not finalized because of this randomness godaddy charge that happened within 24 hours of the card closing was more than upsetting. I am a young woman, married only two years with a 14 month old baby boy, just trying to honestly close down my business, pay off my dues and focus on raising my family. Just when I think I have conquered that goal this company draws enough funds within a very short period of time from the card being unaccessable, to keep me in a place of debt.

They claim there withdrawn is valid because they sent some new policy notification to a web address that is no longer in use? Why did I not receive a phone call, as they well know the web address is no longer existent? Not to mention when I was in business and doing well, numerous times the godaddy site had severe issues where my clients could not access the online shopping cart and at times the website alone. Thank god I had my major retailers and distributors to supply, because if I was working solely from online sales that would have set me back more than I want to imagine. I give zero stars, I face negative stars for their business tactics. Godaddy is unethical and in my opinion fraudulent! Beware of these guys.

Yes, Godaddy is cheaper but their newsletter deliverability rating is lower. My newsletters ended up in my friends' junk mails (even friends who I exchange email with regularly). I sent newsletters out of both MailChimp and Godaddy.

My open rates on GoDaddy were 25-35% lower, and my unsubscribes significantly higher: went from .001% on Mailchimp to .01% on Godaddy. I speculate the second - send feature may be the cause of the higher unsubscribes. Also BUYER BEWARE - Godaddy will NOT refund or prorate your service if you are unhappy, not even if you are unsatisfied with the product. You get 30 days. After that whatever you invested is theirs, even if the service is unsatisfactory or substandard. So I thought I was saving money, but in the end I lost both money and subscribers.

I spent over 1800 for a custom designed e-commerce website from GoDaddy. After 2 months' worth of going back and forth to try and get them to create BASIC things for example: what text or pictures should be in the front page. I requested a refund. They say I am not eligible for a refund. Here is their return policy "Professional Web Design Services. Web Services: 30% cancellation fee when in progress, non-refundable once complete." This project was NOT completed. I did NOT sign off on it or give my verbal agreement.

Here is what they say about "complete". "Completion of Service. Publication of your Design is acknowledgement of your satisfaction with the Services provided to date and releases us from any obligation for further revisions or alterations at that time or until the next Update Minutes are initiated. You also acknowledge and agree that once your Design is published, you will not be entitled to any credits or refunds for any reason including, but not limited to, dissatisfaction with your Design." They are claiming that when they posted the new website in a non searchable sub-domain for me to review for changes, that that is what they call "Publication of your Design". I have the emails from our correspondence.

If I typed in the ENTIRE site name (with .com at the end), there would be a link on Google.com that displayed my real name... which I never annotated on godaddy.com (other than my credit card information) in the first place. My author name was only used on my godaddy.com platform. Why would godaddy.com allow for my credit card information (w / my real name) be displayed anywhere on Google? They showed a package that had the same features at a lower price. It turns out that they didn't include as many free email accounts as BlueHost at the promised price. Performance of the website was terrible. They told me to switch from "Managed Wordpress" to "Cpanel". I did so. Without telling me, they billed me for the switch. Performance was still terrible. I had to spend more money to increase capacity.

I'm a Voice over Guy for commercials, narrations, promos for radio and TV stations. I worked with GoDaddy ten years ago to build a website and included audio demos of my work for prospective clients. Over the years I've had people tell me they couldn't hear my demos when they clicked on them. I've called several times over the years asking what could be done about it. I've been assured that your tech folks would fit the problem. The last call was August 10, 2015. The advisor told me he had a team that would see the problem was fixed. I assumed it was. I've had a few more calls recently from prospective clients saying they couldn't hear the demos. And I am about to ask tech support for help in uploading new demos I have just completed.

So I called and spoke with some of your tech people tonight, explained the history and the problem, spent half an hour while that rep consulted with her colleagues. She said the problem was that people responding had to have the latest version of FLASH on their iPhones, iPads or computers. Ten years after building the site I hear this. She then offered the following: I should investigate websites which could convert my MP3s so they could be used on my GoDaddy website. Upgrade to Version 7 because Version 6 which I've had does not support MP3s. A three month extension of my contract with GoDaddy.

Completely unacceptable to me. I paid hundreds of dollars over the years assuming I was getting complete web hosting and assuming that my demos would play for clients who went to the site and clicked on the demos page. Who knows how many of those years have passed and how many prospective clients have simply not considered me for their job because they couldn't hear samples of what I've done. I have not gotten what I have paid for. Regardless of the number of phone calls. Or the number of your tech reps I've spoken with. Again, I have assumed the problem has been fixed. I've stuck with GoDaddy all these years.

I believe you owe me. I believe GoDaddy should upgrade my website to Version 7 and include my demos as MP3 at no cost to me. And I believe GoDaddy should extend my agreement for at least two years at no cost to me. I have believed GoDaddy's commitment to make the world better, one domain at a time. I have believed your motto to hustle, adapt, listen and repeat. GoDaddy has failed to deliver on its commitment to me. I believe GoDaddy is better than this. And I am counting on you to make it right.

When I bought email marketing service, they should not have given that if the email facility is not available. There is no email address or active chat service available to complain. Chat service is always offline. Only a Singapore contact number is given to contact and when contacted them, the automatic answering service request various confirmations and at last cut off the call. Customer service stated this is not their problem as MS Outlook is a third party vendor. REALLY. Run, this product and company are horrible. No matter what I attempt to do, I cannot restore my original email account in MS Outlook. I have tried logging into Microsoft and adding a new account with my original account, and it repeatedly states my original account needs to be repaired. Repair it, as many times as I try, my original email will not show up in outlook. I have tried all of the Microsoft fixes, none of them works. I have tried all the PC repair alternatives; they as well do not work. I am extremely technically and computer savvy, and I now understand I will have to uninstall MS Outlook, or attempt to send an email to everyone in my address book, while copying myself to save all my 336 contacts.

This is perhaps the worst example of a company I have experienced to date. I have 35-years of Consumer package goods sales, customer service, management, and training experience. This company needs to be driven out of business, or an investigation needs to occur relative to their business behavior. Given the money they spend in advertising, one would assume they are spending as much in congress. I believe I should be compensated for the six (6) hours I have spent trying to restore my own email, and then the four (4+) hours it will take to rebuild my email account. I am speechless, frustrated, fired up, and GoDaddy says "This is not our fault, use web mail, your computer is not our problem, and I WILL not help you or find anyone who will." Their service was great until last month, when in renewing my basic service, I apparently "clicked" on something called "bookkeeping", which then added that service to my account.

Later I saw an additional $9 show up on my bank account. I then replied back to two items I got from GoDaddy, requesting that bookkeeping be dropped from my account. After about a month with no results, I called them on the phone, to clear a "bookkeeping" service which accidentally got added to my account, after having sent a reply message twice to get it cleared, to no avail. I first talked to an Andrew, and getting no cooperation, I had to request 7 times to talk to a supervisor, because he kept arguing with me about what I expected a supervisor to do for me.

Finally he connected me to a supervisor, named Keith, who took my complaint and request for a refund on the unwanted $9.00 bookkeeping service. He said he was getting a lot of such complaints, but that GoDaddy had "screwed down" their policy, and No refunds could be made which went back more than 30 days. AND HE SAID THEY ALSO WERE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ME A $9 CREDIT TO FUTURE BILLING!!! He put me on hold, asked some policy people to bypass the policy and get me a refund, they denied the request. GoDaddy has a very small one line in their contract that states they will automatically renew your domain after 1 year if they don't hear from you. Ok most companies try this, the real rub is that when you fail to notify them and you don't op, they charge $95 for the domain in year 2. Normal rates are around $10-15. So GoDaddy took my money without providing any real value. I was robbed and there is not much I can do other than try to spread the word on companies that would rather steal than to provide a real service. GoDaddy you can take you crappy brand and Go To **!

Without this correction my new site would never connect to years of marketing. The fix was confirmed in writing to me twice. Oct 3 at 8:13 pm Godaddy called my home to say they could not do the work promised. Now they locked my development site without explanation.

The use of a few 301 redirects would fix this but Godaddy, a technical company, does not know how to do this? Their supervisor called 'John from the CEO's office' was rough and badgering. First telling me I would get a refund if I agreed to stop asking for the fix almost immediately. I begged them for a few extra hours to consider the offer. They rejected it as I want the site fixed, not the refund. He refused to give a name which is so unprofessional. I feel like we are dealing with thugs not a public company. And if they cannot fix the site, why did they tell me in writing and in the phone that they could? Had we known that this company has only 1 star here and hundreds of complaints elsewhere, we would have moved on. If anyone knows how we can get our site unlocked please let us know herein.

If there ever is a class action suit against Godaddy.com please count me in. I've never felt so taken advantage of in all of my life. As a medically retired individual in my mid-fifties, I fell for the advertising as an 'easy' way to set up a website to start your own small business. I felt it could be a good way to start up something at home to supplement my small disability income. I signed up, with no renewal. Set up a domain name, and tried out the web builder. Called up for support and lost patience before the month was up. Whenever I called up for support was spoken to like I was an idiot, and my last call asked them to cancel the web page. Figured it was done. Asked to keep my domain name, but was done with the website. This was about three and a half years ago.

I became very ill and over the past few years haven't had much support with my affairs and let so much go on the wayside as I was concentrating on my health. Last year I noticed a charge on my bank statement from them and called them up for almost a hundred dollars. They weren't able to answer my questions as they needed my web address, codes etc. They couldn't pull up any information with my name, address, and phone number, and as I was still undergoing medical care I just didn't have the energy to go through all the paperwork and try and 'remember' nor go on the computer to 'help' them figure it out, so another year went by.

Noticed another charge, so this year I had my daughter's support and we finally were able to take a few hours and get to the bottom of this. I phoned them with all of the information as I was hoping to ask them to research why this hadn't been cancelled, and at the very least reimburse me for this year's fees, and finally cancel the website.

After almost two hours on the phone, and being denied access to speak with a supervisor after asking politely several times feeling I was being more than patient with the situation, and aiming for a compromise, a solution without confrontation and having to put up with listening to the young people in the background dropping the 'f' bomb about every ten seconds and laughing and stating loudly 'got another one', was told by young Anthony that he had tried everything he could do to resolve the issue with his supervisors but there was nothing he could do. "Sorry Ma'am." Again when asked to speak to a supervisor, I was refused. Given another excuse.

I was even further insulted while he told me he had even talked to the supervisor's superiors while he put me on hold, which he was unaware he didn't put the 'hold' button on, while I heard even more 'f' bombs dropped, more laughter in the background by more young men and other rude comments while the rep paused while time passed while he waited to make even more excuses why I could not be given a refund and why he didn't understand why my account had not been closed after the first month when I stated that I requested it to be. It never even went live. I had started tinkering with it putting a few pictures in a few boxes, and when I got tech support, they weren't able to help so I gave up and asked them to cancel it. That's as far as I got.

So I asked for reaffirmation that my web account had now been officially closed and that there would no longer be any more payments charged to my account. The last charge was made this past June 2016. Only several months ago. So in total 4 payments of $95 were charged. A total of three (3) charges they were not entitled to take from me.

This whole scenario isn't just about money. It is about their business practice. How they make it so difficult to get into your account to cancel. How when you do cancel your account, and they tell you verbally your account is cancelled and they make an error they do not stand by their word. And although it took me awhile to realize the error due to my own health condition, when I did try to access the account with my personal information, they were unable to assist me. And once I did they were not able to fix the error.

Furthermore, just a heads up for any baby boomers who are considering starting a small business online, I would never recommend this site if you aren't already completely literate and technically inclined. This isn't a 'dummies' guide to starting your own website. The young people talk to you like you are a complete idiot. They talk down to you like you are a stupid granny, (I'm in my early 50's, used to be an executive assistant at a major airlines in Canada assisting at 23 airports, and university educated) and the kids have the patience of a donkey in heat, pardon my expression. They are trained for one thing, and one thing only, to get your credit card information, and sell you products.

The training and customer support is nonexistent. At least that has been my experience. And if you need help in cancelling your service, expect it to take several hours of your precious time. They are hoping you get frustrated and hang up, so the timeframe lapses and that you are charged, because if you are, the next time you call and if you are charged, they cannot refund you because of 'the policy'. It's a cat and mouse game.

I am now medically retired, living on a disability income. $95 may not seem like a lot to some. And I thought I was being more than fair only asking for one payment to be reimbursed. But to me that is almost a month's worth of groceries. So yes, I'm feeling very taken advantage of. I was concentrating on my health, and was amiss and didn't have any help during my illness to pay attention to my finances closely enough to see that someone at Godaddy didn't cancel my website when I requested it. That was my fault. But when I called and asked kindly for some compassion and a simple compromise for some resolution, one would think that it wasn't too much to ask. At least I didn't think so. I don't have the money to hire a lawyer, to fight this. I will concentrate my efforts on staying well and staying strong.

However, when I saw this website I thought that I would take a bit of my power back, and share my story so that perhaps even one person could be spared the frustration of being taken advantage of by this bunch of greedy business people that have no interest in Customer Service. They are more interested in branding, commercials and selling their product, and zero interest in actually following up with what they are selling. Once they have sold the product with all the hoopla, you have bought a pretty package with all the bows and ribbons. When you open the package, you may be sorrily disappointed. Buyer beware. This has been my own personal experience. And it has been truly disappointing. PS Damn it. If there's a lawsuit, there is no compromise. I want it all back. These guys are crooks in my opinion. LOL.

They're trying to tell me we both actually turn it right back on again. Bullcrap!!! This company is getting away with fraud! I'm so mad, this is ridiculous! This has got to be happening to thousands of people. I used my family checking account to pay for two domain names, because I hadn't set up my business account yet. I rarely use it, if it had been with my business account I would have seen the changes right away, so after 1 hour forty-five min. phone call telling me because I waited over five days I don't get a refund. I feel that their computer system is programmed to "screw citizens over" by automatically reactivating the auto renew. This is bad billing practices, fraud, deceptive practices, computer fraud.

They nickel and dime you for every little thing, so in the end you'll end upping pay a lot more than you were led to expect. The service is dreadful -- expect to wait 30-45 minutes each time you have a problem. The Web Designer is totally counter-intuitive and comes with hideous templates. If you make any changes your website will NOT be modified to look good on a mobile device (don't listen to what the sales person tells you). They promised to offer me a refund if I was unhappy with the plan, but when I tried to, they said they no longer do so. It's a really a company gone bad. So I signed up for a website builder package last year, which included my domain and 1 free email address. Mind you all the other emails I have under this domain now, since we are a well functioning company cost $4.99 per month, or $3.99 per month as in one lump sum per email annually of which they charge $48. Not ok, cause other providers offer more free emails with a package but ok, my bad. Should have done my homework. So overall I am not unhappy with godaddy. Yet just bought a new website builder package and lots of extras, some domains etc. (you know they charge you very low and then you can only buy it for at least 2 years, once in your cart). Well, I didn't mind all that. So far it was acceptable. Live and learn. With several issue with them but not bad overall. Over $700 in the last 2 weeks.

But listen to this: This is what happened today. Two days ago, I had canceled my auto billing payment option with GoDaddy on all my renewals, since I like to keep an overview and also had some very poor experience lately with unauthorized/canceled autopayment deductions from other vendors on my account!! (Sick and tired of running after my money.) Just to see that this morning they had taken off $57 from my account. I checked the invoice and it was for 1 YEAR - yes you read that correctly - for my email account that initially came free with my original website builder program last year. Not only as I said above I pay monthly for all my other emails, when I called in to Godaddy this morning the guy on the phone was rude and snippish, when I asked why they had taken off 1. An odd amount of $57, since 1 year email prepayment should have cost me $48.

Secondly my original website builder package is due Monday next week, so this email which was originally included is now being charged separate and then if divided by 12 months with a monthly fee of $4.75? That makes no sense. Why can't I pay month by month, with just a few pennies extra anyways? And why is it not included in my package, due to renew next Monday and why did they charge a CC, that I just used for my Godaddy purchase of over $7000. 2 weeks ago, that is NOT showing in my profile? THEY DID NOT HAVE THAT CC on file. It's a very new card, that was just recently issued due to fraud on my checking account, but I am 100% sure they kept it after my purchase 2 weeks ago.

His answer to me was this: 1. "You did NOT cancel auto renewal for this email" - (which is a lie, because I took a screenshot 2 days ago!) 2. The email would not be included in my new package - payment due next Monday! 3. "If You ask for a refund your email will be deleted and all information in it!" Yep, I said, "Please do - and Thanks for the awesome service" and hung up. 10 seconds later that email was un-retrievable!!! Shame on them. Well my rating for this company would be less than a 1. Too bad. I acted in good faith and added on lots of services. But I am def. gonna be smarter next year when it's time to renew and will NEVER purchase from them again.

I purchased on two different occasions, web domains from GoDaddy. I purchased to secure the domain name, not sure if I wanted to set up the business. I found that the following year, GoDaddy, without my authorization, billed my credit card $159. The $10 teaser for the first year bumped up to over $160. (1400% mark-up! Don't you wish your savings account or your pension account had this kind of return?) Since I knew I never checked the "auto-renew" tab, I was incensed.

Furthermore, my credit card had changed. They hunted it down to get funds. I called GoDaddy and the manager said I only had three days to dispute the charge (I saw it on my credit card statement several weeks later) so I could not get a refund. I immediately contacted my credit card company and they promptly reversed the charges. I went to GoDaddy's website and in my account, tried to delete my account. There is nowhere to delete. Also, they accused me of not clicking the "one-time payment" tab so I tried to reset it to "one-time payment" but the web site would not take the information. I think it is clearly programmed this way. I've built sites before and it is not hard.

Well, several months later, I open my Paypal statement and find that GoDaddy had charged my PayPal account through my bank account. I've contacted Paypal to again dispute this charge. This company should be sued. GODADDY PRACTICES OUTRIGHT FRAUD! Google it. There are hundreds of people voicing the same complaint of "auto-billing" when the customer clearly stated "one-time payment." Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GODADDY!!!

When a customer goes to the trouble of looking up the telephone number to the Corporate Headquarters of any company, you know there has to be an issue. GoDaddy recently decided to upgrade/change/migrate email service and of course then charge all customers more for doing this, though no customer asked for it. That aside, the change-over came with serious problems, like no more business email access! In trying to resolve the problem with customer service 3 different times over 2 days with no results, we called the Corporate HQ.

Typically it's annoying when there is no one answering the phone at that level but in the case of GoDaddy, though they had someone answering the phone, they'd be better off with an automated system, as the receptionist was not only not friendly or helpful, she flat out refused to be of any assistance and stated to call customer service yet again. Why bother pay someone to answer the phone who wants to play God and do nothing! People do not seem to understand what customer service really means. GoDaddy did have a great reputation at one time but they have unfortunately fallen prey to the lack of training of their staff or maybe they just simply don't care about their customers any more. I'm going with both. So very disappointing.

I have been with GoDaddy for years and I left them twice for this same type of stuff, but I have domains there still. Their supposedly extra security has ALWAYS been a pain for me to even access my own account. Recently, my tablet was stolen and I changed my phone number and all my passwords. So, I went to the GoDaddy site and requested 2-step authentication, but moving so fast to change passwords on all my account, I did not change my phone number on the GoDaddy site.

So, now I am locked out of my account, because it is requesting 2-step authentication on EVERY DEVICE that I have (PC and 2 laptops). These are not new devices that should require additional authentication. The SECURITY BREACH is that when you enter your password, GoDaddy IMMEDIATELY sends a text message to the number on file. There is no prompt to ask if you want to verify that way. So, essentially, anyone with that phone could get a text and have access to my account. Thank God, I CHANGED the number, so it is not in use.

So AFTER they have sent the text to a number that I do not have, it has a link for alternate verification, that STUPIDLY opens a window where the only option is to send a text to the same number. THERE IS NOT ALTERNATE METHOD. I had to call them, get transferred 3 times waiting each time, only to have them send a link on how to turn off the 2-step authentication method. Uhhh, would have been nice to just have that link on the alternate method screen! So, this method requires me scanning and completing a form and include my driver's license or other identification and take 3 days for me to access my account.

What's really bummed out is that I don't even have any more ink in my printer. You would think there is more advanced technology to allow this to take place only. RIDICULOUS! Google doesn't even require all of this. I have every single order #, my PIN, my password, previous passwords and all credit cards ever used, but that is not enough. I am so upset. As soon as I get into my account, I am leaving GoDaddy for good. I don't trust them anymore if they're breaching security. Not to mention getting to Customer Service is a huge hassle. Save yourself some stress and trouble and try another hosting company.

GoDaddy has hosted my website for a few years and overall I have been pleased with their service. Several months ago they told me that I would have to upgrade to their new version at a cost of $300. I published the new site and though the design was fine the process for updating pages and content had changed dramatically. They claimed that it was easier and more advanced but it is extremely cumbersome difficult.

When I first started using GoDaddy I set up the site in about an hour. I have spent hours trying to update one page on the new version. For example, on the old version I could copy and paste titles that linked to a URL. I learned from GoDaddy that for the 50 titles that I copied and pasted would require hours of work researching and manually updating the URLs. I asked them to change me back to the old version since working with the new version is not practical.

I requested a refund from the manager Mark who said that since the work has been completed they could not make a refund. I told him that the product was unacceptable and I gave him examples of the problems that the changes were created. I asked to speak to his supervisor, Alfredo. He told me that Alfredo does not take telephone calls and that they do no pass the phone around just because someone has a complaint. I am obviously not happy with GoDaddy and their refusing to refund the $300 for a product that does not live up to the promises. Worse than the $300 is the hassle I have had to go through with them only to be stonewalled.

Absolutely horrendous experience with GoDaddy. If I could leave negative stars, I would. Not one to leave negative reviews or even complain about an experience - but it is 100% necessary since I was conned out of money. They have a 48 cancellation policy that allows you to receive a refund after being billed. Had called the second I got that email and representative said that they closed my account and that I would receive a refund. Called back the next day to confirm the account had been closed (I always double check since I have had a similar experience before where account was never closed).

First representative said that no one ever cancelled my account, and if I were to get online and cancel the account right away, that I would receive a refund. So, right after I cancelled the account, I got back on the phone to confirm and the representative I spoke with said that the 48 hour window had closed and they wouldn't honor the refund, although the previous rep I had spoke with said that I would be reimbursed. Spent another 15 minutes on the phone and still "they could do nothing". Save yourself the headache and ditch this company. Use WordPress or ANY OTHER website builder/domain co. In my experience, staff is rude, unattentive, and incompetent - especially when you're in the position of closing an account. Not happy.

Very poor experience. Having not used my domain and having tried to cancel it on a previous occasion (but finding nothing listed), I then suddenly received notification that my account had auto renewed. Over £15 had been taken from my credit card. I called up customer service. Was told that I could switch off the auto renewal, and given access to my account. The guy explained that I could cancel the domain, which I did, after which he then explained that there was no refund on the UK site. Had he told me this before, I may have kept the domain for another year (seeing as it's paid up for that).

The customer service guy was unpleasant just simply kept repeating: There is no refund on the UK site (like a robot, except he was real, although not very human). When I first set up the GoDaddy account I got bombarded with spam, and constant adverts - so I was dissatisfied from the start. But to have shelled out money for something I no longer use, that doesn't even exist anymore and to be told I cannot get a refund is very bad practice. Avoid.

I had my websites up and running for many years. I built the first music school in geocities, and had decided to build bigger websites. Suddenly domain name companies like Godaddy came along, and they were a new company that promised to protect my website name from name thieves and to shorten our URL address. Godaddy was a new company and said they would host a redirect website and protect my name and help to bring viewers to my website by making a easier URL address for people to find my website easier. They said all of this would be free, because it would help promote them as well. They had me design a opening page to my website, I did. They attached that opening page to my website, then I found out, they refused to allow meta tag generators to the opening page, cutting that website off from the search engines, and from anybody being able to access the website, the page acted like a lock.

No one could get to the website without knowing the new address, and no one could find the new address on any search engine due to Godaddy keeping meta tag generators from being put on the page. I told them to remove the page from my website, they would not. Instead they kidnapped my website and then wanted me to pay them for my trademark name of **. My School name has been on the internet for 45 years. I was told by attorneys, they had no right to sell my name out from under me because It is a trademark name, that due to the age of the first ** website, the trademark name is grandfathered in, and being most of the internet was built from the search program that came off the ** music school, that the name ** is a Pillar of Internet history.

To this day, I curse Godaddy. They had no right to destroy my name or to sell it out from under me, nor does any other domain name company. These Domain name companies came along saying they wanted to protect our names, instead they robbed us, destroyed our websites, and made themselves rich by stealing trademark names.

I've had 2 clients using Godaddy for years and years - one for email and web hosting; the second for web hosting only. Their email is not really the best - at this point I need to be able to check email on an app, and with this account (from mobile) we have to log in through a web browser and the screen size folds in. I believe the web hosting is fine. Anyhow, today I had to call about a billing issue (a duplicate payment) and was told that it was not a duplicate payment, but we just paid for the same thing twice intentionally to extend our contract. I was even told that I hadn't called at the time of these duplicate payments, although I have the record IN MY PHONE. What is the point of being so rude to a customer? Even the DMV is nicer than this. Even my cable company is nicer than this. I am truly hoping that it's just two rude people who will be gone (I've actually read other recent reports of two rude people, one a supervisor, so it may be very limited).

If I could give a ZERO RATING I would! Be aware that GoDaddy will charge you for services you don't ask for. I NEVER set up automatic renewals on anything. So they did it for me! I will never use them again for parking a domain or anything else! I have a screenshot of their actual website showing I have no subscriptions on my account yet they refuse to refund my Credit Card. I'll let the CC company know and while I'm at it I'm going to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. I was going to cancel the whole service but I think now I might just keep using it and EVERY TIME they screw up or a service is down I'll make sure EVERYONE KNOWS. And if you dare voice your opinions on their Facebook page they will block you from commenting. Sounds like guilt to me.

Update 8/21/2016 - I contacted my CC card company last month to dispute the charge of $141 and was immediately credited. Godaddy sent me an email telling me that the account had be cancelled and that they had refunded the $141. TODAY I FIND OUT THEY HAVE RE-BILLED MY CC AGAIN! There's got to be something more we can do other than complain on here! There needs to be a class action suit started. But I do not know where to begin! I'm so furious right now.

However, I was reviewing my credit card charges today and realized that Godaddy is currently charging me for a service that I have not used for over a year. I find this quite disturbing. Although the amount charged is not a lot, it is the principle of this act of taking money for a service not rendered. Also known as stealing. I tried to contact their customer service person and also spoke to your manager. It appears that Godaddy is more concerned with a few dollars than to provide honest service. I have to say, I am very disappointed and I feel that they have ripped me off. This is no acceptable and frankly it is illegal.

We are extremely displeased with yet another financial issue with GoDaddy. They keep charging us and we can't get them to stop. On 10/21/2015, we called GoDaddy and requested that they terminate all services (company name and website changed 12 months prior, no longer needed domains), effective 10/21/2015. Instead of cancelling us, GoDaddy has continued to charge us, over and over again. When I spoke with them today, GoDaddy claimed that we never asked them to cancel the account. We have written proof otherwise, which we will share should we be forced to pursue legal avenues.

Additionally, GoDaddy will not allow customers to ever cancel auto-pay, remove the payment method, or cancel auto-renew, thereby allowing GoDaddy to continue to abscond funds for obviously no longer needed services. Federal banking regulations prohibit businesses from forbidding customers to remove a bank account from auto-debit/withdrawal. GoDaddy continues to ignore this consumer protection.

After seeing a $96.03 charge on my credit card this morning, I of course once again called GoDaddy. I spoke with several reps and a supervisor, for over two hours. They tried the "4-digit PIN verification" scam where you give them the correct PIN, and they say it is wrong (supervisor told me I provided the correct PIN to the rep who said that PIN was incorrect). After clearing this hurdle, I asked them why we are still being billed for services we terminated last year. They said we never cancelled. They said we now need to send another email to "ProtectREG@GoDaddy.COM", which we did last year as well. Nobody from GoDaddy ever responded to that email, and I assume that they won't this go around. Either way, we assumed we were cancelled as requested last year. Unfortunately we were not. And GoDaddy makes money this way.

The bottom line is that GoDaddy makes it next to impossible to terminate anything at all with them, and after reading the numerous complaints here, we now know that this is absolutely intentional. We sent our demand for refund today and fully intend to pursue legal avenues. Someone has to do something or these guys will continue to commit fraud. I sued Sears Holding for $3,700 4 years ago in San Diego Superior Court. I prevailed. Sears Holding was ordered by the court to pay the entire complaint amount. It can be done, even against huge corporations that think the consumer is weak. Best $50 I've ever spent.

I've done business with GoDaddy for over 4 years and spent hundreds of dollars to a terrible company. After this year's plan runs out, I can assure you I'll be going to Wix or another company. I started my own Wordpress sites, having contributing writers add articles, and was doing quite well with the amount of visitors. When my card had been switched out GoDaddy ERASED my ENTIRE site including ALL the articles all my writers had written and mine as well. I was fuming but chose not to take it out on the customer service agent Brian. I ended up starting a new site against my better judgment. Several months back I talked to the same rep--Brian--who tried to spitball me a website for my business saying he could give me a discount. After he was done fast talking me he tried selling me a plan I didn't want. Luckily I caught him before he charged me and corrected his errors.

Later in the week, I called back to obtain my free domain which I was entitled to when I purchased the new year plan. I was told that I wasn't eligible anymore because since I didn't activate it over the phone that one time it was over, which is complete BS because that was never explained nor was the free domain even brought up in his quickness to take my money. I then was charged in March $83 for a renewal of a Wordpress account I did not want renewed. Watch. They automatically charge you. I called to have it refunded and spoke to a very rude rep by the name of Josh who was extremely arrogant for no reason. I explained to him that I had been charged for services that I wasn't even using nor had I used in months. He told me that he wasn't refunding me, that a manager wasn't going to change anything that he said, and told me that since I rented the space I needed to be charged for.

Long story short, a bunch of phone calls later and problems, I called my credit card company to dispute it. They refunded me in May, and just issued me a re-billing for the payment. Apparently, even though GoDaddy contacted me that they shut my services off for lack of payment (it's a blog you can't even visit the site since it was never up even when they charged me), they disputed it with the CC company saying I was at fault. So, almost 4 months later I'm still dealing with this ass and eye company. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Spent almost 2 hours on hold (calling twice) waiting to get a person and then it took them almost 30 minutes but they could not get "the system" to downgrade. Promised to call me back at the number I called on, did not- called me back at another phone number and I did not get the message for a few days. In the meantime, I phoned them back and asked for a supervisor. They were argumentative and would not put me thru. Tried to rectify the downgrade again but could not. Told me it should be/would be done within 24 hours. "Unable" to calI me back to confirm change in order.

I called back a week later and it was still not done but they were able to finally do it, but unable to credit the original deluxe hosting which I never agreed to! Got a supervisor who was not apologetic, empathetic at all. Final straw- unwilling to credit account a few dollars because I did not follow up within 48 hours- even though they did not fix it within the 24 hours promised. Nor did customer service tell me to call within 48 hours to get it rectified. The absolute worst is their (recent) attitude of you, the customer, having to get back to them over and over to confirm that a sale is changed/taken care of. They seem to show no accountability or to take responsibility for their errors leading to wasted customer time on the phone on hold- sometimes for 45 minutes or more, and not a toll free number- or to give a credit if they could not fix the problem within a reasonable amount of time. I am appalled and will soon end my business with them.

I tried the private registration because previously when I purchased a domain on Godaddy, I would get countless things emailed and physically mailed to me. Godaddy will sell your information to 3rd party scam artists who will blow up your email. So, I figured, fine, I will pay for private registration. It's only $10 or so and I can cancel at any time... right? WRONG! I tried cancelling countless times and they wanted copies of my drivers license and copies of utility bills before they would cancel it. I tried removing the card on file, but they would not allow me to. A company as Shady as Godaddy, I did not want to have copies of my Driver's License and utility bills.

Then I noticed that my credit card on file was set to expire prior to the private registration renewal (and the price jacks way up for the renewal price). I figured, instead of sending them copies of my License, I'll just let it die out, since they cannot charge an expired card... right? WRONG AGAIN! They can charge expired cards due to a relationship they have with the issuing banks. They submit your expired card information and the bank sends them your updated card information. Uggghhh! So, you'll get charged anyways. I was pulling my hair out with these guys. Called and waited on hold for about 45 minutes before I was able to talk to a supervisor who told me that I would have to submit the documents or they'll continue charging my account for renewals every single year. So, I had to jump through hoops and fill out a form and submit my Driver's License and other info I wasn't comfortable giving out... but had no choice.

Godaddy.com hosting has gotten so bad that in a shared environment someone signed up for hosting and placed a web shell on the server they paid for and then used that foothold to expand and take control of multiple hosting providers. We were made aware of this after a client found a warning in the Webmaster control panel showing that a website has been seen offering malware. When we looked into this we discovered that no matter what we did to remove the malware it kept coming back and this resulted in Godaddy suspending the account. They then refused to provide access logs so we performed an extensive audit and found no vulnerability or backdoor as a result of the client website. What we determined is that the malware was brought in by a site on the same IP (shared hosting) and the real culprit simply navigated to our clients "folder" and integrated the malware that way.

It was entirely the fault of Godaddy.com and as a result our client was forced to deindex all of the indexed pages in Webmaster tools and move off of the server. We had a backup from the previous month and had we not had this the site would have had to be rebuilt from the ground up as Godaddy.com refused to give access to the account even though we were able to show that Godaddy.com is liable in this particular situation. They are one of the most incompetent providers out there and we will NEVER have anything to do with them in the future. They do not value privacy and they cannot maintain control over services. We are not surprised that the majority of US based botnets are hosted by Godaddy.com.

Then I received warnings from my bank advising me not reveal my credit card infos. All of my Godaddy account info was leaked. Then when I started uploading pictures to make my photo galleries Godaddy started bugging the hell out of me asking me to buy more resources although my website still offline.

I ignored the scamming emails and then notice that my site became extremely slow to the point that it fails to open. I am definitely sure that Godaddy is tampering with my site to force me to buy whatever they want me to buy and I am also positive that if I give them money they will keep doing the same thing every now and then, again and again. Now my new website is almost dead and there is nothing I can do. Total loss of money, time and efforts. Godaddy is extremely bad.

So I did but because the storefront is more expensive, I had to add $300 to my credit so that my next payment would not be until 2018.

After several calls/texts to GoDaddy tech support over the next few weeks, I find out that I cannot add any social media pixels for tracking or do subscription billing because THE ONLINE STORE DOESN'T ALLOW FOR HTML CODES! Nothing about the website hosting. Found out this week that I no longer have a website.

Called GoDaddy and they said the site was irretrievably shut down for lack of payment. They admitted that they screwed up by not including the website renewal with my other services, but essentially flipped me off. Their mistake, my problem. I clicked on the "Confirm" button to confirm my attendance and the email disappeared to thin air. I looked for it everywhere but it's gone. I contacted Godaddy the next morning and they told me to check my Calendar. However I don't have the Calendar set up because that would cost extra, and I also don't really have the need for it. So the first time I chatted with tech support, I was assured that the email will be restored within the hour. 5 hours later still nothing. The 2nd time I got nowhere with tech support on the chat and was told that if the email didn't stay on the server overnight, it can't be retrieved. The problem is, it did stay on the server overnight.

After my 2nd attempt with tech support chat I decided to call them. After about 30 minutes of the tech guy investigating my case he concluded that he can't help me. The conclusion is that if you use your email via Webmail, and don't purchase the Calendar, every time someone sends you a meeting request, the email will disappear into thin air once you click on the Confirm or Deny button. No, it will not be in the "Trash" folder. You will never find it. You will have no access to any of the information the email included. I'm furious! Godaddy.com has a policy in which once you purchase a service you only have thirty days from the day of purchase to cancel the service and get a refund. Most of their services are set to auto-renewal with a credit card. My services were set to auto renew and the policy of 30 day applies to renewals. My hosting service renews yearly, which means they will charge my card for a year's worth of service, but you can only get a refund if you cancel within the first 30 days and they will keep your money for the 11 pre-paid months. When you call Godaddy to get any type of assistance they immediately try to get you to renew, even if your service is not due for a few months. They did this with my partner who called to add a service and they renewed a service in March 1st that was set to renew in April 2nd.

I notice that the hosting service was not needed and asked them to cancel. A representative told me they could not, but he would check with someone else. That was a couple of days ago. I called today, April 29th and asked them to go ahead and cancel that hosting service. They said they could not. I informed them of the conversation with the other agent, and they said they could not. So now they up sold the renewal a month ahead of the auto renewal and they will not cancel and refund an entire year's worth of hosting services. The renewals are yearly, but they made this one 13 months.

I need your assistance with them cancelling the hosting only and issuing the year's worth of service. I am technically 30 days within the auto yearly renewal. Besides, their policy is not right. They charge on a yearly basis and refuse to refund after 1 months, regardless whether the service is cancelled or not. I need your assistance with this issue. The account information is the following: Advanced Detail Account # ** Cancel Hosting only 12 months refund. Thank you.

There is no explanation by GoDaddy for its unauthorized use of my credit card for the purchase of 3 domains. It claims I manually ordered on their site with a coupon code weeks ago. My story is that I allowed a nonrenewable domain with a .com extension to expire weeks ago. I decided to buy the same one again yesterday when I was emailed that GoDaddy still had it on reserve for me and I could still sign up for it, so I was pleased after all. In fact, I ordered two more domains with .com extensions from GoDaddy.

Reviewing my order history for a receipt yesterday, I discovered that right before my initial domain had expired, GoDaddy charged me for three brand new domains that I did not order several weeks ago. They were extensions to my former domain.com's name: .info, .net, and .org. I never wanted nor ordered any such domains, period. GoDaddy at first said that my !8.00 would be refunded by two representatives I spoke with, then they passed me on to another rep saying it would be done. The rep said she would be happy to cancel and refund and walked me through canceling the three domains. Then a glitch occurred she said. It wasn't possible since this had been a manual entry I supposedly had conducted, and five days had passed since it was ordered. To dishonor the refund offer, after all, was unacceptable to me.

GoDaddy claimed that several weeks ago, I manually ordered those three domains. Really? In my sleep, I guess as I checked off three boxes for net, org, and info for a domain that was going to expire that I never desired that I entered a coupon code with that I checked that my credit card on file with them was still the one I wanted to use and I pushed the submittal button and I no longer wanted. I have no log of any purchase on my end made that day in my written records. I am a one-person at home operation with my own password. No one from this residence ordered anything that day from GoDaddy.

When I meticulously order *anything* online, the first thing I do is screenshot the final order before and after the submittal button before the company's confirmation email is even sent to me. I record that purchase manually on my calendar and in my checkbook. Interestingly, I never got a confirmation notice from GoDaddy of that order, so isn't that weird?

Again, nothing with GoDaddy has ever been set on automatic renewal. I never made a trip into GoDaddy online and signed up for three domains. I am a tightwad who orders nothing without reading an order exhaustively of what is being checked off, and for how much, and if my credit card info is still current and am I using the one I want before I make a submittal. It was an 18 dollar lesson: something is Fishy going on with GoDaddy right and it no longer has my confidence now. To add insult to injury, I was told I was going to get a refund by its resolution department and then the offer was reneged. One service representative even had the gall to state that the resolution department wrote in its problem order that I admitted to having mistakenly ordered three domains which is a false statement. Why should I believe that this is not their error when someone is now writing the story differently on their end.

I have several days to cancel the new domains I did order yesterday and/or to transfer them elsewhere. I will no longer go with GD, of course. I used to be satisfied, but after being on the phone for about 2 hours with them on this yesterday because of the principle of it, management no longer has my confidence and I hope that anyone else with a similar incident comes forward. It's only 18 bucks, so I am letting it go and will check my credit card statements more carefully. I do, I just overlooked that one doggone it! I am not even going to bother the bank to contest it. My work time has already been compromised over all this already and there are more important things in life than GoDaddy.

What this means to me is that I need to recreate my entire website on their new platform. This originally took quite a few months to build in my spare time. I now have 360 documents that are linked to the current website - every one of them will now need to be downloaded onto my computer and uploaded to the newer version. That in addition to rebuilding the entire site. When I asked for help, they said they would charge me. And that would only help with some of the work - not the downloading.

They also told me that I could not continue to put information on the "old" website when I start building the new one. If I did, all the work in the "new website" would be lost. So, I asked if I could get a "new" website instead of upgrading and build it so that I could continue to add documents and keep our community informed at the same time. They could not do this without charging me for a new one. I tried to talk to a supervisor and was given an email address. I sent an email requesting some assistance - 2 weeks later no response. I can't believe that they cannot upgrade a system without a person having to totally recreate everything. At this point, I will be leaving GoDaddy and building with another web-builder platform.

Deleted my father's website after he spent days and hours working on it when he had working credit card on file and already paid for it for about a year. DO NOT USE GODADDY'S WEBSITE BUILDER!!! Tried to call them to make amends, spoke with supervisor (Brandon) and he wanted to charge my father and have my father pay to rebuild his own website all over again. THEFT! INJUSTICE!

I had a medical practice website and thought what I was receiving was a quality product but after researching other options I learned that GoDaddy is cheap because that's just what you get - nothing compared to the competition.

Beware, this is a warning. After 10 years of enjoying their web-based email, I have nothing but problems now. Here's what I've learn from their Tech Support Pros. The web-based mail accounts have been squeezed into just a server or two, where they run out of memory and crash. Why? So the helpline can tell you how unreliable it is and for just a few 100 bucks more you can move over to their reliable office 360. This is clearly a bait and switch move. A good basis for an FTC Complaint. The way DeadDaddy has performed over the last year, I doubt they could manage any type email reliably.

I don't understand why they don't have online chat support! Or e-mail support! I don't know who introduce this unprofessional policy. If I can move everything from Godaddy to another hosting I will do. I fed up from this. This is not a support.

This is a note that I wrote to Godaddy today in response to an email I received from them this morning, asking me to "confirm" cancellation of several products I had used for a number of years:

"Yes I did cancel them; because GoDaddy no longer gives any discounts for renewals to honor long-time customers, not even when willing to purchase products for a year or more ahead. Also, there are no refunds or store credits given as before in reasonable situations; and online coupons for renewals that used to be honored, are now denied and sales agents are instructed to only apply any "Called in coupons" for "new product purchases" even though the coupon clearly states that is it for "renewals." Clearly the priority at "GoDaddy" now, is just to "rake in the new people" while giving minimal care to the ongoing needs of existing clients. So since I am not a person of "means" at this time, I have no choice but to cut products and concentrate just on what is absolutely necessary.

GoDaddy used to be a cool place for indie artists and small business operators to go, but no more. A few people at the top may be making more money from these "bean counting decisions," but meanwhile, I am sure I am not the only one who no longer considers GoDaddy to be a great company since they have joined the ranks of those who care little about their clients and only celebrate their increased bottom line."

Note: I could write another chapter about the times when Godaddy messed up my website when using the Version 7 of their "drag & drop" website builder & it took them weeks to fix the problems. I was imminently patient with them. I could have moved to "Wix"... or one of the other companies at that, which may have been a better choice than to stick it out with GoDaddy.

Last year, my website was permanently deleted by Godaddy without my knowledge or permission. Stupidly, after crying for days, I AUTO renewed my domain and stayed - thinking I'd change soon. This week, my domain email stopped forwarding. An hour long "chat" later, I learned that auto renewal means nothing. My card expired. It happens every 2 yrs. Did they call, email or snail mail? NO. I had no idea. It showed paid through 12.16 on auto renewal. They SOLD my domain. Now listed for $2000+. Done. Disgusted.

In short, I have 2 issues; 1) Are they don't give priority to after-sales service? 2) Is their support (call center) inefficiency? I didn't purchase the products by myself, my friend did. He purchased 2 domains and a hosting plan. I was surprised by the price he paid. I also have a website and in a year, I pay less than what he pays for a month with GoDaddy. But he told me this one is good. It works well in America and Asia Pacific. So my friend assigned me to be an administrator by sending the invitation through GoDaddy service called administrator account. This channel is good. You can let other people like short-term freelancers work for you without giving them the account and stuff. I followed the instruction from the email I got from GoDaddy. But it doesn't seem to work. My friend accepted and assigned the resources to me but I didn't see anything.

I looked for help in their FAQ. I found nothing related. I looked for the chat agent. It was not available. Why is the chat agent not available? I mean their site looks fancy and all but useless? I use a free hosting. They don't have a chat agent but I can drop a question and they reply within 5 mins. I have no choice but to call the call center. There was a lot of background noise going on. The woman answered and introduced her name so quick (kind normal, IDK). I stated my question. Instead of answering my question she started to ask a lot of my information, even my private phone number. I asked for a reason, she said it's for them to contact me later. Then, she asked me what problem I'm having again? I again repeated. The woman had zero idea about the administrator account at that moment. How come she doesn't know about the product she's working on??!!

She said I have to use the account that's used to buy the products. I then read the email I got from GoDaddy for her, twice. She still clueless and asked me to forward the email to her. I sent it right away. While waiting for her reply, the call was cut. She didn't call me back as she asked for the phone number earlier. About 30 mins later, she emailed me, said the invitation might be expired. "Might be"?? She still can't diagnose the problem!! We tried the solution she suggested in the email but doesn't work. After-sales service is important to me. I would recommend all the people I care not to use any of their product.

I have held my domain.com name with GoDaddy pretty much since they began. Back then, before they got 'greedy' for money, I never had any issues with them, and their website was simple (without all the massive 'popup' windows now trying to sell you things you don't need or want!). I have ALWAYS chosen the MANUAL payment method and ONCE A YEAR I would do my ANNUAL renewal via my PayPal acct. (and I would ALWAYS double check that my settings remained at the manual renewal option and only for ONE year). When your set option is 'manual' you automatically get numerous emails the prior month before your domain cost expires, as a reminder to go to their site and make your manual payment. This is also how you know you are on the manual option...the email tells you this!

So the day before the renewal was due, I went to their site (for the first time since I last renewed a year ago), double checked all my settings, and seeing it was still on manual payment option, and for one year, I went ahead and made my PayPal payment and rec'd confirmation of my one year renewal (along with the privacy cost for a total payment of $18.98 for one year). This was on Jan.12th that I made the payment and the exp. date was Jan.13th so all was well. Suddenly on Jan. 14th I get a 'confirmation' email from PayPal telling me I just made an AUTO pay!? to GoDaddy. When I went into my PayPal acct., sure enough there were now TWO charges of $18.98 each (instead of just my one manual charge that I made on Jan.12th).

I figured this was some sort of system error on GoDaddy's part, and tried to contact them via email (not knowing this co. now set itself up to AVOID talking to customers)...when I didn't hear back I tried calling, but couldn't get thru. So then I searched and found a Chat link, tried that, not operational even though I was contacting them within their stated open hours. Finally thinking that I was being scammed, I contacted PayPal and filed a dispute, telling them that the company DOUBLE BILLED me and I needed my one extra payment refunded to me ASAP. PayPal wrote back and said that it would take 10 days before they had a response to dispute. That is the time they allow their vendors to reply to their email regarding a chargeback. Well surprise surprise....no reply from GoDaddy to PayPal either.

(I later found out, when I finally got on Chat, that not only don't they answer emails from customers but they refuse to answer PayPal's as well...told me that it was something I had to do...even when I told them that PayPal is directly emailing them to get in touch to clear up the double billing. So how am I suppose to answer their emails for them?? Also I had numerous contacts with PayPal already. I've handled my end of it. They need to take their own responsibility and handle their side of PayPal's requests for communication. Still the 'less than human' woman rep refused. Her reason? "We don't do that" (??? What? You are in business as a vendor thru PayPal and you refuse to communicate with them when there is a problem??).

She also keep insisting I went and changed my manual setting to autopay and since I did this (which I did not and told her so numerous times) that I made 2 payments to cover 2 yrs of renewal and they don't do refunds (Now I'm thinking, well what the hell does your company do anyway besides drive your customers away!?). I told her that GoDaddy obviously had a glitch in their system, because I only made the one manual payment and I didn't change anything plus I always check all my settings before I submit a payment. She just kept repeating that they were not at fault, and I made the switch to autopay.

This didn't even make any sense, even if I had gone and actually done this, because first of all, if I already made my renewal payment on Jan.12th manually, even if I then had gone back and switched the setting to autopay, it wouldn't have processed a renewal, because my Jan.12th payment already renewed the domain name for another year, so any autopay wouldn't (and shouldn't) even submit a renewal until the next exp. date of Jan.13, 2017! Also, after I made the Jan.12th manual payment, I rec'd my immediate confirmation from PayPal that it went thru and also the confirmation email from GoDaddy showing the new expiration date now as Jan.13, 2017 (because it renewed me for another year). I never went back to their site after I made this payment on Jan.12th (no reason to), so if I was never back on their site, how could I have changed any of my settings over to autopay?

None of their accusations made any sense other than they are scammers who just are after your money, and they don't care how they get it. I ended with telling them that PayPal will reverse both payments if they refuse to reply to PayPal's contact attempts, and I even said I didn't want that to happen. I only wanted one of the duplicate payments refunded so that I still had my domain name renewed and active for the one year that I originally paid for. They didn't care. Just said, again re: not replying to PayPal, that it was my job to talk to them (even though PayPal was emailing them directly! ), and said that if both payments are reversed, my domain name will be canceled out of my acct and will become the property of GoDaddy, until I reinstate both payments back again! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!

After being a customer for over 15 years, making my yearly payments on time (manually with renewals one year at a time), they are now threatening me over THEIR ERROR and instead of keeping a long time paying customer, and just refunding the $18.98 they double charged me (which they would be getting back when the next renewal date of 1/13/2017 came around again), they would rather keep a name that won't get them any money (it's not a name anyone else is on the market looking to buy!), and lose a long standing customer instead. I've never in my life seen such a greedy company! Well PayPal didn't get a reply from them, and so reversed both payments, and GoDaddy immediately shut me out of my Domain.COM acct., and so I couldn't even transfer my .com name to another holder, because GoDaddy said it was now their property because I didn't pay them to renew!

I told these greedy creeps to keep it. That .COM domain name is now tainted and I wanted no reminder of being connected to GoDaddy at all! (Instead I went and registered the same name but now as .ORG and hope to never connect with that slimy co. ever again, and pray they go out of business for their crooked business tactics! But even then, bad enough I lost my .COM domain after 15+ yrs of making yearly payments just to own it (a total of about $300 lost for nothing now!), my nightmare didn't end there, because even though GoDaddy rec'd no payment now from PayPal, PayPal only refunded the one payment back to me, and not the second one!

Because the payment amounts were the same and only within two days of each other, they would 'scan' all my emails, see a refund was made (not bothering to read that two $18.98 amounts were due me, not just one), so after over a month of constant emailing back and forth to PayPal where I got so tired of their 'form letter replies' stating "the money was refunded and case is now closed" (making it impossible for me to contact them about the same case, having to find other 'creative options' because closed cases won't let you reply anymore), I finally had to send an email directly to PayPal's CEO repeating everything that happened and how PayPal customer service is just bothering to notice the one refund and then just assuming 'entire case was resolved' and ignoring the fact that a second $18.98 payment still was outstanding and needed to be returned to me!

A week later (and a total of 6 weeks!! now from the date I made my first payment to GoDaddy on Jan.12th), I finally got the refund for the second $18.98 back. This is the insanity GoDaddy caused someone who just wanted to renew her domain name for a single year, like I have been doing for over 15 years now. I saw how they have already started losing customers, which I was thrilled to hear, and look forward to the day they lose them all, due to their crooked business ethics! What's ironic also, is when I went to another register to buy my new .ORG domain name, it only cost me half of what GoDaddy was charging me every year for over 15 yrs. Had I have realized this earlier I would have just dropped them, instead of bothering to even process a renewal! To the public reading this stay as far away from this co. if you want to keep your domain name and your sanity, and not be paying their inflated prices either!

Then I decide to call to GoDaddy tech support. Person with whom I talk answered that the problem is that server where my site hosted is too old and he cannot help me. But if I want I can buy new, better server from them... I asked supervisor, because I need to clarify - I paid for that old server and at my understanding GoDaddy has to update and serve the server. But supervisor does not even talk with me. Now I am canceling all my services with GoDaddy and happy with the new service provider.
