Zurich has replaced and repaired my tires, which gives me peace of mind. The last time I had a screw in my tire and it was repaired at no cost on the same day. The service did what I needed when I needed it.

I'm satisfied with the overall work, I did not enjoy having to go back in a second time for the same issue/repair because it wasn't fixed the first time. I was told a rear main seal, had the oil pan fixed, still leaked even worse than before, had to have the rear main seal done anyway, lost two weeks of my truck total because the inspector didn't approve the deal the first time. Otherwise the service and staff are great.

My daughter got her car's front tire damaged and they replaced it. The customer service was very accomodating and they advised the car dealer where we bought our car and bought the insurance as well. I am very pleased with the result and I may get the insurance again for my other daughter's car as well.

Took my truck to get fixed when they said that my warranty wouldn’t cover hardware for some reason and that you all was supposed to have a car rented at the enterprise for me and when I showed up they haven’t received a call from you all. Not very happy with the extra money spent to get a warranty on the truck when I have to pay just as much out of pocket and it would cost to do the work myself.

Zurich covered a little more, but for a powertrain warranty on a vehicle with over 100,000 miles, it's good. The rep said, “Hey, $2,300 you’ll get two years, so many miles, and it will cover your powertrain. Right if you leave here, if something blows up, it’s paid for." I was like, “That's easy.” Because I know what it costs to fix these vehicles.
The only thing I don’t like is that I had to search for what is actually covered. They gave me a little pamphlet, but at the same time, I tried going online, but it wasn't descriptive. I know it doesn't cover wear and tear items the way the rep explained it to me. But I wanted a whole warranty, and the rep when I called and asked about it said it would cost way too much and it was not worth it. But I know that if something happens and I go to the dealership here, they will take care of it. And if I go to a different dealership, it’s $100 if it's not them, as my deductible for so many miles. Just knowing that I don't have to fix the car for another year is nice.

I had Zurich previously which made me decide to go with them. The experience was great. It was completely easy, as it was advertised. Submitting a claim was quick. I did a wheel and tire last time, and I rode up to the shop. They called and verified it. It was easier for them to get it done than it was for Honda because I went to a different dealership, and they were a little confused. But once they got on the phone, they were able to move through very quickly. There was a little bit more learning that was needed to happen with the reps because they didn't know if the cosmetics were covered for the tire but we ended up getting it figured out and they were very professional. The extended coverage is very valuable. Even just the key program that they offer alone to replace my keys is more cost-efficient than the entire package.

I took my vehicle to my dealership because the car developed a tapping noise in the engine. The technician diagnosed the problem and told my dealer representative and he contacted Zurich. He was informed that it would most likely not be covered due to it was most likely due to normal wear and tear. I paid close to $4,000 for this warranty and they won’t do anything for me! What a waste of my hard earned money! Save your money in case you need an auto repair.

The dealer told me that Zurich was an aftermarket warranty and said that there were different levels of it like bumper-to-bumper for so many miles or years or you could do powertrain or there are different cosmetic stuff. They laid out a bunch of different options that you could do. I would recommend Zurich. It wasn't too much trouble and I find it useful. I've never had to use it in the past but someday, it might come in handy.

I got my first oil change two weeks ago and that was for free. Everything turned out to be good. It was quick. The car is working good and Zurich’s services are great. There's nothing wrong with anything they offer at all. I trust Zurich. If you wanna get your service done well and fast, I'd recommend it. It won't take much of your time, especially if you have things to do. It takes probably less than an hour of your day.

I got my car in October and I got an extended warranty with Zurich on the engine and in case anything goes wrong with that. When I signed the paper, they said that I could do an engine or electrical. Anything else would be whatever came with it. I got an oil change and the guys did it, and then told me I could go. Two free oil changes was included when I got the vehicle so it wasn't any cost.

It has been about four weeks, maybe more, since I first went to the dealership's shop to show them the damage. Pictures were taken and I assume were sent in to Zurich. Since then I have heard from a Zurich representative only once. The representative told me that more information was needed and that I would be hearing from the dealership about it. So far I have heard nothing more about my claim.

Engine mount replacement was covered under my warranty but the essential sensors needed to complete the work was considered electrical and not part of the powertrain warranty and therefore was not covered. I had to come out of pocket $424 because of it. The sensors are not some added on expense. They are needed for installation of the engine mounts and should be included as part of the powertrain. I was even charged for the nuts and bolts used to hold down the mounts. That is ridiculous. I am currently in the market looking for another warranty plan and sadly Zurich will not be considered as an option.

I bought a vehicle and I added Zurich. I tried to put the little antenna thing on the top of the roof of my car, and it came off and I took it to service. The rep told me it wasn't covered on the warranty under Zurich so they wanted me to buy a new one. I didn't do anything. I don't know if that warranty was worth buying or not but at this time, it doesn't matter. I was disappointed. I thought it would be covered because I put the extra insurance. I've got the wrap-around Zurich where everything is just about covered but the first thing I bring up to them that's an issue, and they said it's not covered. So maybe it was the luck of the draw.

The company who came to assist with a dead battery was over an hour later than scheduled, so that was inconvenient. But they did arrive and were able to jump-start the car. The coverage for our damaged tire was great--the dealership replaced the tire (pothole damage) completely.

Took my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance and they discovered an unexpected, needed repair that cost approximately $1800. Appreciated that Toyota contacted Zurich directly who approved the repair and paid for it (minus my deductible). My only “complaint” in general is that I was required to pay a deductible. The whole concept of a deductible is stupid and punitive IMO and while it seems to be a standard across various insurance industries it should be abandoned if the industry truly want to be consumer-friendly (versus, you know, trying to squeeze every penny out of the customer).

When buying an after-market extended warranty policy you never know what's really covered and if you're going to get the answer your policy doesn't cover that part. I needed a radiator and a reprogramming of my software. That's all I paid is the $100.00 deductible for a $2300.00 invoice. I would highly recommend Zurich to anyone especially for high-end cars which no one likes to insure.

Nowadays, vehicles are so complicated. I've also had experiences where I got to 100,000 miles, then I had a problem and it was not something I could fix myself, and it was going to cost me a fortune to get it done. So, the service contract with Zurich is an insurance against something catastrophic happening.

The service contract we got through the dealership was like they sold us a bill of goods that wasn't really how it was supposed to be. We called the dealership and we talked to the person who sold us the car and then one of their sales rep for the warranty. We went through all of the channels and then we called to cancel the service contract that we had. But Mike got ahold of us before we could cancel and he helped us out. He was the only one that really understood our situation and what we were talking about. He set up a good payment plan that we're comfortable with what we were doing and what we like is that what he said happened.

I purchased a new pickup and had an extended coverage policy added. Everything is fine. I've only got 7,000 miles on the truck. I just started up for the first service and that's been paid. The truck was serviced and everything right there. The wait was just about an hour then I drove the truck back out.

I have two services, one of which I've availed myself of already. It was an oil change and tire rotation. I took my car to D'Ella Honda of Glens Falls. I know a lot of the people there and they're very nice. The service took about 45 minutes and it was free. That was good.

I couldn’t schedule on my Ford app so we had to call in and schedule the vehicle for an oil change. We dropped it off in the morning. My wife waited while they changed it. It was pretty simple and standard. The representatives were good. It was just that I had been quite upset about the recall. But they’re still waiting to get the parts to do the recall on my new trucks and replace the backup camera.

I have had to use the service contract 3 times now. Each time has made me immensely happy that I purchased it. So far the comprehensive service contract has lived up to what I was expecting when purchased completely, covering the costs of all needed repairs as well as rental cars 2 of the times when necessary.

I didn't get my vehicle until the last day in July and I took out Zurich for the engine and drive train stuff. I had Zurich before and I felt better at having things covered. In late August, I had some work done. There was a problem and it had something to do with the engine. I was very satisfied with the service. And I’m glad that I have the coverage.

In May of this year, my wife and I purchased a 2017 Nissan Armada with 21k miles on it from Lee Johnson Nissan of Kirkland Washington. Although it looked new and was certified, we decided to add a service contract due to the electronic complexity of the Armada, and after having gone through a transmission replacement on our older SUV, we did not want to have to be on the hook for anything else. We got the 7 year bumper to bumper up to 104k, with zero deductible if we use Lee Johnson. Well, last August I came out to find the A/C had decided to stop. Took it into Lee Johnson and found out the high pressure line on the A/C had blown. 1,300 dollar repair, paid entirely by Zurich! Zurich is all Lee Johnson uses at all of their stores, and I can see why. We do feel safe under their care.

Had tire that was unrepairable. Road hazard damage. They called Zurich, got the ok and replaced the tire. What more can I say. I had a tire problem. I went to the Ford dealer. Explained my problem, showed my contract and they replaced the tire. No charge. I’m a very satisfied customer.

The place where I got the car from didn’t have any warranty and the warranty was cheaper from Nissan. I spoke with a Zurich rep and he told me about the warranty and it was better. When I had the car repaired, I just spoke with the people from Nissan. They did a good job and I didn't have to pay. It was taken care of because what I had done to the car was on the warranty. My experience with Zurich has been nice.

Had a flat tire. Got in touch with company and no one came to help. Being elderly, I was really disappointed. Thought I had nothing to worry about. That was a lie. Tried to get in contact with the dealership who sold us the contract but no one ever called back. My husband had to fix the tire himself. He just had hip surgery. I gave up... no one seemed to care. Zurich did pay for service on my car.

I was told when I bought my new vehicle protection plan it covered everything. However when I picked up my vehicle they said it didn’t cover shop fees or something. So I had to pay my deductible and more for supplies. I was told that with the insurance I bought, this would all be covered. Not happy about the coverage I got since I was told my plan covers everything. I am not sure if the dealership lied to me or if you just don’t cover everything.

New age cars break down a lot. Zurich did the coverage with an extended warranty for a certain amount of time, and I said so. The dealership fixed my car the other day after everything shut down on it. They dealt with Zurich. All I did was drop the car off and pick it up when it was done. Get Zurich. It's worth the money.

I took my vehicle there for a windshield replacement. The customer service was fantastic. The customer service rep/manager I can’t remember his name at the moment was tremendously helpful. They were able to take my vehicle while I was away for a few days and take care of the windshield replacement. It was much appreciated because I was starting a new job the following week and it was just one less stress that I would have to deal with.

Picked up a lg nail on Batesville Rd. Went thru and out the side of my tire. Remembered that I had coverage. Made 1 call and someone was there. Changed it within about 2 hrs. Called Breakaway next day they bring it on and they found the tire that would match the 3 others. It was the best and easiest process I’ve ever experience.

I don’t even know my transmission was bad. I did know there was a high pitched whine but when I took it for an oil change the dealer checked it out. When I heard it would be over $5000 to repair I was scared! But they called Zurich and they paid for the repair and the dealer said they were very easy to work with, no hassles, no arguments.

You never know what can happen and with the weather changing, you never know what's going on. So it is very valuable to have a protection plan for your vehicle. Zurich was the best warranty for me. The first time I called them, I had a very good representative. They explained the coverage very well. My company contacted Zurich to file a claim, so it was easy with them getting the order information that they needed from my company.

Called to have my wipers fixed that stopped working. Turns out water had seeped in the wiper motor. Zurich refused to repair it on the extended because water had seeped into the wiper motor that gets wet every time it rains. They are fully aware of this and take advantage of customers because of water in a WIPER MOTOR. They were condescending and said it would not do any good to talk to someone higher up. Be aware. You can email them your vehicle info and cancel the extended warranty and receive a pro rated refund which I will do.

Our extended warranty was something that we decided to do last minute. I'm glad we bought it considering the issues we've had with our truck. The engine and the transmission both failed under the warranty. They both got replaced but it was difficult because it took so long. I understand that the Zurich people that process the stuff are not mechanics. They need to understand that mechanics go to school every single year to learn the new computer that are put in these vehicles. It's not as easy as it used to be.
Our truck sat at the dealership for over two months before Zurich would do anything. They wanted the dealership to take out the transmission and break it down to find the exact cause. I told the guy that I've been rebuilding engines and transmissions since I was 13 years old. Back in the 70s and 80s, they were a lot easier. I could tear out a transmission one day, rebuild it, and put it in the next day with no problem. You could not do that with the engines and transmissions now. It takes days to do that. There are so many computer crap in these parts now. Also, this is a hometown dealership and they don't have the time to do all that. They have two mechanics and they're busy.
It's like what the computer says is wrong is what's wrong, and I was a little not happy about that. We only got a rented vehicle for 10 days but it took them over two months for our truck to get fixed. The truck was my only vehicle at the time to even drive. I had a bearing going out in the transmission. I can drive short distances but I can't go out of town. I was relying on my kids to be able to take me to and from doctor's appointments. I also have a lot of health issues so I have doctor's appointments almost every week.
I'm a little disappointed with the fact that my car sat there. The owner of the dealership would call Zurich and say they would have a supervisor or somebody get ahold of the dealership. But they never heard from anybody. There wasn't even in the note that Zurich was supposed to get ahold of them. It was kind of a joke. It took me calling Zurich and getting on to them because I was pissed. Someone went in and diagnosed the car. But then it was like they refused to talk to the dealership. It took a week to get the transmission ordered then it took the dealership about four days to get it put in. This happened at the beginning of August and I finally got the truck back at the beginning of October.
Zurich's people need to be educated more. They followed through and they did what they were supposed to. But the timeframe to get things done was too long. If that's the case, then they should extend the time period for the rental vehicle. Some rentals aren't cheap. Other than that, if I bought a vehicle and I have the opportunity for the extended warranty, I'm gonna purchase it. But they need to be a little bit more conscientious of what it all entails to replace an engine.

I had service done to my 2018 Dodge Ram. Something from the front axle was bent and the people at James O'Neal Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram swapped it out. They were very helpful. They answer whatever questions I have whenever I go there. I was very pleased with my Zurich coverage. If someone doesn't have enough money to cover the amount for a repair, then having the warranty is really helpful.

My experience with Zurich was good for the most part. My problem was more with the dealer because they had my car and they knew that I bought it. I had to call Zurich because my dealer did not turn in the paperwork and they made me send that in. My car was there all day and I had to go pick it up. And then they wouldn't tell me if my claim was covered or not until I took the car back in. It was very unpleasant all around. But Zurich was fine. They covered my claim and they were very helpful.

I used Zurich when there was a major issue in my car that had to do with the actuator motor in the air conditioner. That was a warrantied part and the dealership contacted Zurich about it. At first, they told me the part wasn't covered under the warranty. But when I investigated further, they told me that they didn't know I had a Zurich warranty. They thought I had a Chrysler warranty even though I brought the dealership all the paperwork. That was not great. When I went through the paperwork, it seemed very clear to me that everything in my car is pretty much covered except for the upholstery. In the future, I will know that right off the bat and I won’t have to go back and forth with the dealer. Zurich has been fine so far.

OnStar notified us and told us that we needed to take the car to the dealership 'cause there was a serious repair that needed to be done. It had to do with the drivetrain. Shaheen Chevrolet fixed it. Whatever was wrong with it went out again and they fixed it again. I've had no problems with Zurich fixing it. I haven't gotten any bill. They just said, "You're covered. You're good." I haven't had any complaints about them bugging me for money. Everything's been taken care of by the extended warranty and I'm pleased with that. I know people have had trouble with extended warranties but this is the best experience I've had with an extended warranty. I've had them before but this one here is a 10-plus rating. My son just bought a new Traverse for his wife and they went with Zurich too. I tell people if they don't buy that extended warranty, they're making a big mistake.

Our vehicle has a backup camera. A lot of times, it goes to a blue screen when we put it in reverse. The backup camera monitor is not effective. The tech at Rahal Miller Chevrolet Buick documented the problem. Still, the people we worked at Rahal were great. While Zurich's service is not for everybody, it's definitely for me.

I was concerned about protection for dings as I can't help it if somebody bangs into my car. When I was buying my first car, I asked the dealer about protection and they suggested Zurich. The reps from there told me exactly what I needed to know and answered my questions about the coverage. Their coverage did really well for me and it was a no-brainer buying their coverage again when I bought my Santa Fe. Zurich met my expectations. I get a lot of phone calls asking me about my car insurance. I tell them I have Zurich and I'm not changing from them.

I had my oil change at Lakeland and it was good as always. It's just they forgot to put my darn sticker on my thing. As I pulled out, I looked there over my car and I saw they weren’t putting the sticker for the oil. The manager got mad about it and he said he was gonna handle that. He said that they knew what they were supposed to do and he was not supposed to do that. So I felt comfortable once the manager said what he said. They were always treating me good. Zurich’s been good so far. Everything works out. With the coverage I pay for, they come with so many free oil changes.

Starling Chevrolet had my car for 10 hours. I dropped it off a little after 8:00 and didn't pick it up until about 6:00. They were supposed to check some other things. But the only thing that got done was the oil change. My brakes are squeaking and they were supposed to check my AC and there's a leak in the back of my trunk. But they said everything all together was gonna take a while. Then they said my brakes were fine, but they're still squeaking. My AC randomly goes in and out. All of a sudden, it stops working when the red needle goes down to see whether or not your engine is overheating. Then it will randomly go back up. But they said the day I took it in, it was working the whole time. So they couldn't diagnose what was wrong.
I took my car in the other day to change the bulb and it was gonna be $35, and then the lady brought it down to 25. But I had to pay out of pocket for my lightbulb. So for the package that I pay an additional $60 each month for the maintenance, I don't know what all it covers. I tried to ask the lady what all it covers, but she said I would have to talk to finance. At this point, I literally don't wanna pay for a maintenance package. I wanna take that off and take my car to an actual mechanic.

I am by myself and it’s easier for me to just let Zurich take care of the car. I have not had the opportunity to use the coverage, but it was nice to be able to just take my car in for the oil change and not have to worry about whether it's done right or not. I know Ford will take care of it.

Zurich has an easy signup process. They took care of everything. What made me decide to purchase it was that this particular one, is just for wheel and tire. I've had some previous experiences with another Volkswagen ruining wheels on curbs. So, for me, it was necessary. I'm a lot more careful now and I haven't ruined one. But it doesn't take much on these cars because there's essentially no protection if you bump a curb, the weel will go straight on to it, not the tire.

I'm satisfied at this point. But I was not real satisfied with being talked into it by the dealer. I bought two cars within a week. There were two different finance people in the dealership that were doing the warranty. I'm perfectly happy with the coverage for the 2019 Traverse. It’s got the much better plan. I got so much better a deal on it because the dealer had been repairing my older car and they crashed it. So they kinda had to give me a deal on the new one with all kinds of extra stuff. The 2017 Chevy has $100 deductible and the plan only bought me about 17,000 miles, whereas the plan on the 2019 is gonna carry me another 40,000 miles and I've got a zero deductible.

Repair shop said that Zurich was easy to work with “great insurance”! I don’t think I should have had to pay for the belt and gas when the broken compressor destroyed the belt and the gas was also from the compressors failer.

Always a positive experience at White Plains Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler. Their customer service and repairs are always top notch. The Zurich Auto coverage is fantastic. The vehicle had some repairs in the last months and with Zurich coverage I had no worries, the repairs on the vehicle were covered including payment for a rental during the time that the vehicle was in for repairs. If I had to fully pay it would have cost me thousands of dollars. I am fully satisfied with the coverage.

My Audi A3 suddenly began overheating - took it to the dealership and discovered the water pump was not functioning properly. Was happy to have had the extended coverage as I just purchased the car (used) 9 months ago. I was a little annoyed that things such as screws/bolts were not covered (how else is the part held to the car???), but ultimately saved me $1100. Also was nice to know I had the option of a rental being covered, but as I did not need the vehicle for the few days I did not utilize that benefit.

I bought a very low mileage SUV, and was very surprised when my wife used it and the wheel bearing locked up, on a 49200 mile SUV. Zurich towed it in, and paid the repair and all I was out was $100. I can't tell people enough how much money and aggravation they can save by buying the Service Contract. There is never a good time to be out $100, but that sure beats being out almost $900.

I got an email stating that it was time for my car to be serviced so I called and made an appointment. I went up there for the oil change and the rotation of tires. In the process, the shifter wasn’t engaging in park so the people replaced a harness. But I had to pay out-of-pocket for that. The guy told me that the service techs saw a recall for it and thought that the harness would fix the problem. But apparently, these cars have that problem with them not engaging in park after being stopped and turned off. That's when he told me that I owed him $56. It says, multi-point vehicle inspection. They changed the oil on the filter, six quarts, 49.95, eight quarts at 59.95. The shifter harness installation was $12.75. Then it says the harness was $40 plus $3.43 for tax. I paid $56.18. He was very apologetic. He was just trying to save me from making the claim because it was $100 for the claim. He said that it’d be cheaper for me in the long run that's why we did this route.

Was losing air in driver's side front tire & asked service dept to check it while I was there for oil change. Was told there was something in it & that it was repairable so they said they repaired it. From when it was supposedly repaired til now, I've had to put air in the tire at least twice as it's still losing air.

I purchased a car and a short-term service contract through Lakeland Automall Hyundai with a couple of oil changes and stuff came with it. Recently, one of the new tires was losing a little bit of air. I just drove the car in and the people tooked at it and repaired it. It was a warranty issue. That was just a valve stem and they had one so they put it in and I was done. I was very satisfied and happy. They were very friendly, treated me with respect and good speed, and I was on my way.

Some lady didn't stop at a stop sign and hit us. I was so thankful we had our car because they said that the roll bars saved us. Volkswagen spoke with Zurich on the repairs. I took my vehicle in to have the transmission looked at. I needed a full replacement. Instead of paying the $100 deductible I was charged over $500 fee for a “full tear down” of the transmission. Worse, when I attempted to obtain a diagnoses as to the causality of the transmission failure the repair site had no information. Essentially Zurich forced me to pay out of pocket for something they wanted that gave me no information or benefit. I am extremely dissatisfied and very disappointed in the service that I pay for to be protected against unwanted useless fees.
William -I see that Zurich paid nearly $5000 in benefits to repair your truck's transmission. This included $261 for diagnosis and $290 for teardown of the transmission. We also paid the shop an additional $100 handling fee for accepting our supplied remanufactured transmission. We are sorry to hear that the repair shop charged you additional fees on top of this but unfortunately, we have no control over what a repair shop charges. We purchased the Zurich Vehicle Contract for our Range Rover, and it was the best $1200 spent. Of course, during the financing of our vehicle, I was hesitant to purchase another expense. This one was well worth it because I had hit a curb, which blew out 2 of my tires and ruined 2 of my rims...they were all replaced for free, and they look fantastic!! There was only a $11 disposal tire fee. I couldn’t imagine what this would have costed me out of pocket if I didn’t get this coverage! We took our car on a road trip, and again, will need to replace a couple rims. Thank God for that insurance! I do have to wait 2+ weeks to get those replaced. Supposedly, Land Rover is behind because of COVID. Customer service is great, once you’re able to get a hold of the service dept.

I have no problems when it’s come to getting service when I need it with Zurich or the dealership I go to some time I have to but it’s always Lakeland Ford. I have been to Weikert Ford in Lake Wales no problem. But have one bad experience at Winter Haven. It was not your company it’s was the services people there. I misplace my contract. They too lazy look it up but Lakeland and Weikert just type vin number in with no problems you take of me.

I figured that it would be better to get covered than later come out of my pocket with more money for repairs. I got a five-year warranty on my 2016 Chevrolet. Zurich was very professional. The coverage met my expectations ‘cause they said if they had to keep the vehicle, they had to give me a loaner vehicle. They were good. I stayed there the whole time and I didn't pay anything out-of-pocket.

We got the new vehicle and my husband was gonna be driving it far so we decided to get the extra insurance. In case anything happens, we wouldn't have to worry about finding somebody and we didn't really know much about that. Zurich was the one that the dealership offered. When we took the car in, it got fixed and it was a good experience. I didn't have any problems. They had it for a week but that was only because they had to make sure they were able to see the problem.
Every after about half an hour of driving it, the blinker would start going on by itself and then, it would stay on. We went to New Hampshire and it was fine the whole way there. Then, the whole way back, the blinker was on nonstop and there was no way to get it to stop. For a couple of weeks, it wouldn't do it at all and then, it would pop on randomly and would do it. So, when we had taken it in to get it done, it wasn't doing the problem. So they had to drive it around to try to get it to. It wasn’t very long for them to have to fix it but it was just trying to get the problem to happen. The experience with Zurich was awesome and I didn't have to worry. There wasn't a lot of stress that came with it if the issue was gonna be covered or not. I was happy that I got to just drop it off and let them deal with it and then pick it back up and it was fine.

I purchased the extended warranty when I purchased the car (used/lease returned vehicle). I was told it was a bumper to bumper, just like the warranty on a new vehicle. I’ve had the vehicle in for issues twice (once for an electrical issue and once for the A/C). Each time I was informed that this item isn’t covered. Had I known that what is covered is quite limited, I would not have purchased the extended warranty.

The money spent on the Zurich Shield would've been better left in my pocket. The vehicle I purchased looked beautiful on the lot, after driving it home and showing it off to friends and family, someone noticed some issues with the paint. Fading on the roof as well as paint bubbling, lifting and peeling away. I filed a claim with Zurich and they told me they only cover "loss of gloss". I see primer and that isn't glossy! I was told they would only pay for a wax of buff. This doesn't help at all. Before spending money on these warranties I would ask very specific questions regarding coverage. Getting a $30 wax job doesn't cut it!

We discovered a oily red looking fluid leak under the Navigator. Called the Deery service department. They advised not to drive to the dealership, They ordered a tow truck and had the vehicle brought to the dealership. Two day later the cooling system was repaired and vehicle ready for us to pickup. No problems, no hassle, just fast efficient service.

We just had the oil change done through Zurich, and it was prepaid. We don’t have to worry about paying for the oil change and stuff like that. That’s all prepaid now. The dealer took care of all the paperwork. We didn’t have to do anything. My wife, daughter and I have Zurich on all our vehicles. They treated us very well.

The guy from Zurich said that a lot of stuff would be covered underneath the contract if I was to purchase it. It was like a extra $3,000, and I was kinda iffy on doing it, but I’m kinda glad I did because I had something happen to the vehicle not too long ago. The claims process with Zurich wasn’t hard at all. I took the car in to the repair shop and told them the issue. They asked me for my information for the extended warranty that I have and I gave the information. It took two more days than it should’ve taken. One of the days, they had to order the part. They just said it was one day for the part to come in. So then, they told me some other stuff, and I didn’t know what the situation was, but eventually, everything worked out. Zurich didn’t say they had an issue with the claim, so I would recommend them.

The finance officer suggested that I might wanna purchase Zurich for additional things that may go wrong. It so happened that I got it last year and things did go wrong, and it came in handy. When summer came, the air conditioning wasn’t working as well as it should. I opened the hood and I saw something was rattling. A fan was loose. I took the vehicle to the dealer and the whole mounting system for the air condition was pretty well damaged. The dealer took care of the whole thing. I was given an invoice and initially, it would've been almost $700. But everything was covered and didn't cost me anything out of pocket, even though I’m paying for the plan itself. I also had a problem with my heated seat and I took it back to them.

I got a service contract in the past for other vehicles and they turned out to be good to have. So, I decided to do it again and I got one from Zurich. Also, my car is a used vehicle and you'll never know what you're getting with. Zurich has a lot of good coverage but the price was a little more than what I paid with my last one. Unfortunately, I had to change vehicles because I had an accident. My previous contract was through Allstate and they only charged me over $2,000 for pretty much everything. But this one with Zurich was $2,000 more, so that was kind of a bummer.
But so far, my experience in getting my vehicle serviced has been great and Evergreen has been amazing. A lot of dealers I've had in the past will try to argue and fight with you about trying to get coverage warranty because some dealers get paid less than what they would have if you had to pay it out of pocket from a warranty. But Evergreen has not given me any of that type of service and they've taken my vehicle in with no questions. They've given me excellent service on it and they've gone above and beyond. The dealership takes care of speaking with the reps at Zurich, too. The dealership calls them and tells them what's going on to verify if it's covered or not. Then if it wasn't, they would let me know what I had to pay out of pocket. But the couple of times we've had to have the car serviced, there were no issues.
It was nice to know that one of the works we needed was covered but there was another issue which I came to find out wasn't covered because Zurich considered it an adjustment. It's the spring noise that's in with the manual transmission. You have to pull the transmission out to get in there to adjust and it's like a slave cylinder. But I don't know how it would be an adjustment when it's making a horrible rusty spring noise. I've had that happen in every one of my Wranglers, too. So, it might be just a manual thing with the Jeep Wranglers. But some of the other Jeep guys that work there said that they have it as well. Also, it is quite annoying hearing the springing noise every time you have to push on the clutch and shift. This is louder than any of the other Wranglers I've had which is more concerning because I worry that maybe that's why it shifts rough and it's hard to put into gear.
Aside from that, Zurich didn't really give the dealer a full explanation from my understanding on why they consider it an adjustment instead of considering it part of the drive train because you need to shift to be able to drive. I'd understand it if it was determined that it was like a clutch issue which would be my fault if I wore the clutch out. But my vehicle only has 45,000 miles on it and it's quite noisy.

Due to the mileage on the 2015 Jeep, I got coverage and when I had a claim, it went through fine. I brought the vehicle in and they told me what the problem was. I guess their records indicated that I have the insurance and they came back and told me it was covered. So I was very pleased. Zurich didn’t cover a service problem that I had a couple of months ago but they have different levels of coverage and I understand. That was my choice and I’m still pleased. Having Zurich has relieved some stress and allowed me to feel comfortable about driving the car out of the service area.

From previous leases, I know that that the upholstery is one of the biggest things that I abuse. My last complimentary service was an oil change and rotating tires. Zurich's product was good and I really like the cleaning supplies. They were really nice. When I purchased Zurich from the dealership, they gave me one kit and when I used all the kit up, they gave me another kit of nothing but Zurich supplies. That was all that ever touched my car. However, their customer service was not the best. When we bought Zurich, they asked us and told us what the policy covered. I specifically asked about love bug damage and they said they'd cover it.
We live in Florida and had some issues with love bugs. When I called to submit a claim, there was a constant issue with taking the vehicle through certain places to get it fixed, but they weren’t close. I then sent pictures. It was just one go-around after another, which went on for a few months sporadically here and there. I was in a new position at my old job and running an entire hair salon with 12 people. I didn’t have much time and when I did, I gave it to Zurich. Then one day, I just said, “I’m not doing this anymore.” I was wasting my breath and time and I was not getting anywhere. I just gave up.

I'm a person that likes to be prepared in case anything happens. I purchased the Zurich Vehicle Service Contract and I had my tires rotated. I waited at the dealership and it was quick. It took under an hour. I wasn't charged anything. I'm lucky I haven't had to really utilize the service contract.

The rep at the dealership was very persuasive and it took about an hour and a half of dealing with him. He started out at one price and then ended up dropping it by almost 50%, which I was upset about because I felt like he should have given me that same price to begin with. It felt deceptive that he was willing to drop it so much. I purchased the warranty because of the incredible high pressure at the end of my car purchase and I also want my car to be serviced if it needs it. In fact, I told them I need to know what to do if something goes wrong but they told me most of the dealerships work with Zurich and I shouldn't have a problem. I hope that's true. They also said I had two free oil changes at the dealership and I did one of the two oil changes.

I suspect they did not replace the parts listed in my service ticket. The problem came back 1 week after repair. Parts did not look new and I asked the dealership about it. No one has contacted me about me questioning warranty fraud. I will no longer waste my time with that dealership. Whether or not you feel like this dealerships is honest, you’re the one paying them the approved amount.

I'm disappointed with the Zurich contract. Fine print reveals that radiators are not covered! The shocks were still under warranty, and were repaired. But I had to pay a garage mechanic to replace the radiator. And I am still making payments to Zurich!

The person in the finance office did not explain the Zurich coverage to me very well. When I took my vehicle in to get serviced, it was a smooth process. I just went and got my oil changed and there was no charge. But when I got the appointment booked, they first said, “You get two free oil changes.” So, when I went in, I was thinking it was something the dealership was covering it. I had no idea it was Zurich that was covering it. So, they didn’t explain that either. It just wasn’t done very well.
I’ve canceled the contract already. I felt pressured with the finance guy, and that was something that I really didn’t want to do. And not only did I get what I really didn’t want because he tried to talk me into it, they also extended my payments a year. Then I came in with a pre-approval letter with Capital One, and they ended up financing me with Ollo for 1.5% higher interest rate. So, it was a mess. Zurich was fine though. I canceled the contract right after I got the car. The dealership never turned in the paperwork. So, then I called Zurich myself, and then two months later, I canceled it, and they got on it right away. I trusted Zurich more than I did the dealership.

Oil was leaking on my transmission fluid. There was a piece on the back that the fuel had apparently broken. That piece was still under warranty so the shop was able to order it and put it on for me. I called Zurich and I was so thankful that I got the extended warranty. Everything was taken care of and I wasn’t charged anything. They got me a courtesy car so it was really good. I'm very lucky. I’m very satisfied.

When I got the truck, I purchased that agreement, and they also made me put $1,800 down to fix the brakes and the tires because they had some stuff to do. So I kinda got double-dipped at the beginning and I was in there for 18 hours. When I got an oil change, it was crazy because I have a Range Rover truck and they were a Ford. So there were some issues. I called and set up the oil change schedule. The oil filter is a special part. Parts for that truck has to be ordered. I had to remind them if I had to get anything done because when I go there, they'll send me home because they have to order those parts for the truck. It happened a couple of times and I was pissed off. If they are selling foreign cars and they have a place to repair them, they should put a check mark in their computer system that they may have to order the parts for the car before they send the customer over there.
There was an instance when I set up appointment with them and I was really pissed off because it was 8:00 in the morning and I waited there for two hours. I thought they were fixing it, but they were waiting for the part to come, and it never came. They told me they were gonna wait for the part to come tomorrow and then they sent me home. That was a little hassle. It takes time to order those parts and to schedule. But everybody was cool. All in all, if you have a Ford, Zurich is good, but anything other than the Ford, don't get them.

I bought an SUV and I didn't know it came with a maintenance plan. The representative said it was GAP insurance and service. He told me it comes with a 100,000-mile warranty with oil change and a whole bunch of stuff. Recently I got my vehicle fixed at Lakeland Auto mall Hyundai. They emailed me and told me it was required to take in for service and I did that. They checked the air in the tires and the oil level. Then they washed and vacuum it and gave it back to me. The experience was good. I'm gonna call Zurich and see what it has to offer. If it's something that I'm paying for, I wanna get my best service out of it.

When I was buying a car from Lakeland Automall Hyundai, I wasn’t getting an extended warranty like I thought was advertised. I was gonna change my mind about buying there but they threw Zurich in, which kind of made me purchase. I'm very satisfied with my decision. I filed a claim with Zurich for my regular service and I was impressed.

I have a 2014 Ram 3500. The tailgate camera got moisture in it and became unusable. Dealer called Zurich and they will not cover it. Even though the Ram new truck warranty would if still in effect. I called Zurich myself and was told "since it was water damage it was not covered". If the camera seals had not failed there would not have been water damage. They were nice on the phone but still will not cover under warranty. When I purchased the Ram I was assured by the dealer that it was bumper to bumper just as good as a Chrysler factory warranty. Do not buy an extended auto warranty from Zurich. If they won't cover something so obvious what else wont they cover?

Zurich is good. I’ve never had a car through Kia before, but all my oil changes were paid for. I brought my car in for an oil change, and then I had the details redone. My oil change was free ‘cause I’m leasing the car. I paid 100 bucks for all the details because that’s not part of my lease and because it wasn’t in the service contract. Cars break down every day, so it’s nice to know that if something goes wrong that’s not my fault, like they’ll cover it.

I needed coverage for my vehicle. I wanted to be covered for the tire plan and the GAP. I drive at least 30 to 40 minutes to work and back home. The road I take is where people go to the garbage place and a lot of stuff gets dropped. I've had before to replace tires because of nails or what could be on that road. I looked at what the companies had as far as what each one covered. Zurich asked me which plan I would want then I chose the one that I could afford and knew I was covered for certain things. Recently I hit the 3,000 and I was required for an oil change through them.

While I could argue and say dissatisfied to very dissatisfied I will just take the higher road and say I am okay with it. I will be honest and say I do not feel I got my money's worth on this extended warranty for what I paid for it but oh well, you win some and lose some. In the end yes your company "helped" pay for repairs but with what I spent on this plan I could have just kept the money and saved out of pocket expenses.

I Purchased the Zurich tire and wheel warranty coverage back in 2017 when I purchased my 2017 Honda Civic Type R. I reside in Long Island NY. I need to have my tire replaced, a $300+ value in addition to having my wheels refinished both of which is covered. No one accepts this warranty/insurance. I contacted shops such as Mavis Tire, Tire Rack, even the smaller local shops. No one accepts it. No one has even heard of it.
I contacted Zurich for information as to locations in my area that they have worked with and accept this warranty. They replied they are willing to work with any shop that is willing to work with them. Which has been no one so far. I even inquired as to reimbursement. if I Covered the repairs, will they reimburse me. They stated they do not offer reimbursement services. I went a step further and contacted the dealership where I purchased the car, Lia Honda of Williamsville. So far nothing. They are probably a good warranty company but finding a facility that accepts this insurance is a headache

I got a big bolt in the side of my tire, and the guy, Tim, at Curry’s took care of everything. He was the one who even mentioned that he saw that I had the warranty. I had forgotten all about it but he brought it up and followed through with it. My tire was replaced so I don’t have a flat tire anymore and all is good. The process was easy.

My truck was a year old and already out of warranty. I got a Zurich service contract and I was told when I bought it that I had 4 free oil changes that came with it. So, I took it into ValMark Chevrolet for an oil change, and then they said it didn't cover it, and I said, "Well, I was told it did." They checked into it but I never heard anything yet from it since. I didn't have to pay for it, but they acted like it wasn't covered. I don't think the dealership knew what they were doing over there but everything went fine. I don't know if it was something they offered or something Zurich offered, but I did the oil change and they didn't charge me. I put a lot of miles on the truck and it's already getting ready to be another oil change. One good thing with Zurich is that you can make payments on it and don't have to come up with it all at once, which was a good deal.

I had a problem with my vehicle. Had to bring it back 3 times to finally find out what was wrong with it. I purchased two $40,000 vehicles from Kia. Bought warranties with both of them. I had a bad tire. Which was under Zurich warranty. They put a $20 on it. After 4 engine light kept coming on. I request replace the tire. So kia manager said she would order me a new tire and would call me when it comes in. I never received a call or a new tire. Well they lied to me. It's all documented.

Had a check engine light and some engine sputtering. I brought it in and my service advisor made sure everything went well and ensured that Zurich would cover work before proceeding. I work for Audi of Minneapolis and BMW of Minnetonka is in our dealership group. I was supposed to have a disappearing deductible, but it seems I was still charged. Other than that, everything was smooth and great. Zurich even covered part of an upgrade required to my car!

A cousin who used Zurich before recommended it to me and I bought a service contract from her. When I had a flat tire, I called the company to see what their process was. The rep told me to find a tire dealer who would work with them. I gave the tire people the number that was provided to me and the tire dealer handled it all. That time, I didn't know I needed a second tire. Once the dealer's people racked up my car, they saw sheet metal and the other one. They were able to fix them as well while they had it. The one tire I needed was pretty much free of charge outside of paying my monthly premium. This was three dollars extra a month to cover what would have cost me $400 out of pocket. It's a no brainer and there isn't any reason not to get this kind of service contract. The coverage is awesome.

I went in because of two things: 1) My cruise control button had been temperamental- it would choose random times to not work, which generally coincided with my decision to drive long distances. It had been that way since I bought the truck. (2) My window was slipping- maybe it had frozen and it broke somehow, but it wasn't working the right way when I hit the button.
Zurich took care of both of these issues at absolutely no hassle to me. That made it worth it to me, right there! I was apprehensive about the coverage, but between the two fixes I outlined above I'm at about 20-30% of what the policy cost me and it's been under a year. Not that I want to get to 100%, but it's nice to know that it is covered. The only reason this isn't all 5 stars yet is because I haven't paid for the policy in its entirety.

I purchased a vehicle that came with a 6 month Comprehensive Warranty through Zurich on December 27 2019. I paid cash and did not finance, and I spent close to $11,000. A noise started to occur soon after purchase, and turned out to be the transmission. Zurich inspected the vehicle, and contacted me to ask about it - which I don’t know why they did. I thought they were only suppose to speak to the dealership? After speaking to me, they found a loop hole so they would not have to cover this repair that will now cost me close to $4000 because they claim the issue was “pre-existing” since I told them I believe I heard the noise briefly on the way home from purchasing it.
This vehicle was inspected and driven numerous times before it was purchased and no noise was ever heard, and the car ran beautifully. I even brought the vehicle to the auto shop I use personally before I purchased it and they could not find anything wrong with it. So where’s the pre-existing issue? Also, how do you diagnose something that doesn’t have anything wrong? This has been a terrible experience and the person I spoke to at Zurich told me this issue takes thousands and thousands of miles to occur, so it’s on the dealership I purchased it from. He also said he could never make someone like me understand how these repairs work. So he basically called me stupid.
I spoke to the dealership who then contacted Zurich, and they told the dealership if I had not told them the issue started the day I purchased it, they would be covering it. Would 24 hours really have made the difference if the issue takes thousands and thousands of miles to occur???? I don’t even know for sure if I heard it that day, I thought I heard a noise. Then I started hearing it here and there, then it became more consistent. I know the issue started after I purchased it and I know it is not on me or the dealership and this should be covered by the warranty company.
I will never purchase any vehicle that has anything to do with Zurich ever again. They’ve wronged me terribly. If I wanted to spend $15,000 total for a vehicle, I would have. I didn’t because that was not my budget. No one should have to pay $4000 for a transmission less than a month after paying $11,000 for a vehicle ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY. I’ve only had the vehicle in my possession for 19 days, the rest of the time it’s been in the shop. I don’t know how Zurich can claim it was preexisting issue when myself along with the dealership and the the shop I use personally could not find any issues. I should have never answered the phone and spoken to them. Shame on Zurich for being so conniving.

My mechanic has tried several times to get through to Claims Dept to open a claim. The wait time has been in excess of 15 minutes and he hangs up b/c he has a busy shop and needs to take calls and deal with other customers. I called Customer Service and the Claims Dept. and waited 13 min and 17 minutes. When I finally got through to the Claims Dept., they agreed the wait time lately has been up to 30 minutes. I asked if they could call my mechanic in order to open a claim but it was explained to me that they are an inbound call center and unable to make outgoing calls and only my mechanic can call to open a claim. In this day and age of telecommunication there must be another means of opening a claim; via fax? email?

So I got this warranty contract from the dealer I got my car from.. Later owning it 300 miles my engine was misfiring. Took it to a local mechanic shop and later they found out one cylinder is low pressure and 95% leak down. They told me they had to tear it down and it’ll cost about 3k. So I said no worries Zurich could probably help out. Shop tore down the engine and found out I had a bent rod. Keep in mind WHICH IS PART OF THE POWERTRAIN COVERAGE...
Zurich wanted more info and my shop were confused on why when there’s a bent rod on the table lol? Denied my other claim for my transmission as well (Inspector went and checked it out btw). Very disappointed on getting their warranty which I’m gladly cancelled. Don’t dare to get a extended warranty with any company. It’s hard to trust anybody nowadays. Had to pay 14k In repairs due to Zurich not accepting what's covered in the Powertrain coverage. Helpful tip read 1 Star reviews that are recent.

I wanted be able to take my car in, not have to worry about it too much, and that it would be taken care of. I then got a service vehicle contract with Zurich, and I've been with them for six years. When I had an oil change on my car, Zurich did everything. They did the car protection too after I bought it.

Things were good when I have my tires done through our Hyundai place. But there's a lot I have to deal with with the coverage from Zurich because I got a blowout and I had to go to down and talk to them about it. Also, the company that towed my car brought it to the wrong place.

My Chevrolet is a used car so I do not want to take any chances with it. That was why I got a vehicle service contract from Zurich. Everything worked out well with my claim. I took the car in, they found the problem, and then they fixed it. They took care of the problem. I'm satisfied with it.

I've used the warranty once for a wheel bearing and the service was great. I just took the car to the shop and they figured out what was wrong. They called Zurich and got everything figured out. I was out of the shop in less than two hours.
