I’ve been a State Farm customer for almost 15 years, and last week I changed to a different company because they increased my premiums with 30% on 3 cars and home insurance. The agent didn’t cancel my policies with the date that I have switched to another company, leaving the coverage on for another 10 days for the cars and when I find out I called her back and she said that she apologize for the inconvenience. Ok, I got that but who will give me my money back for those 10 days. So …. I ended up having double coverage for my cars from 2 different insurance companies for 10 days. Very disappointed and I truly regret not switching earlier.

I had comprehensive coverage, which should pay for the damage caused by hitting a deer. Beside the dents and scrapes, the only operational damage was a single malfunctioning high beam. State Farm declared the vehicle totaled, and allowed me to retain it, paying me only the scrap value. The value assessment, using comparable (?) vehicles - not a single one of my home state - seemed questionable.

A quick scan of Auto Trader showed a dozen vehicles of similar data with price tags double the ones listed by State Farm. Some of the information provided in this assessment for my vehicle, such as dates of inspections and maintenance performed, was obviously taken out of thin air, because it was stated false or could not have been obtained at all, since the work was done by a private mechanic, not in a shop. More than 3 months after the incident the totaling of the car had not been reported to DMV, so the scrap payout was not justified. The vehicle has been repaired and passed in inspection with flying colors.

State Farm is a total rip-off! You will find out when they deny your claim after you've paid their premiums for 50 years. After a terrible hailstorm, all of my neighbors were getting roof replacements. State Farm denied mine. I even had the agent Briana ** come to my neighborhood and I showed her all of the homes around mine that were getting roofs replaced. State Farm still denied my claim. If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would.

Absolutely awful service. I've had them for two months, but halfway through the second month, as I'm paying my bills, I randomly see they've raised my car insurance by $500 dollars. I called my agent, they confirmed that all my information is correct. Then tell me they will try to find out why it happened. They never give me any information or reason, and I'm left scrambling to change car insurance on my lunch breaks. Now they are failing to bill my escrow for home insurance and say I'm late!?

The claims process with State Farm is completely unfair. I was rear-ended by one of their insured drivers while slowing down to safely turn into my home. Despite this, I was told by their agent that I am partially at fault. Their reasoning? A so-called “witness” who was driving behind the insured (and could not have possibly seen what actually happened) claimed otherwise.

The reality is simple: I was slowing down for a legitimate reason, and their driver was following too closely and not paying attention. I cannot control that. Yet, instead of holding their driver accountable, State Farm is trying to minimize what they pay by blaming me. I will never use State Farm, and I will warn everyone I know to stay away. They clearly care more about protecting themselves and their bottom line than treating people fairly.

With State Farm for nearly 20 years. State Farm finally priced me out. One claim in that time, a Deer hit my car. My agent for the past ten or so years was not dependable, his answer to most of my questions- "That's how it is." Not an agent for his customers. State Farm has no more customer loyalty, cares less about the customer. It's all about the money with State Farm. Finally shopped around and found the very same policy with two other major insurance companies for 40 to 43 dollars less a month, that's a month! And left State Farm!!

I think they're being deceptive. A while back they said I could get cheaper car insurance if I also opted for a life insurance plan. So my car insurance went from $100 to $70 with $25 in life insurance. So it seemed like a good deal. However when I cancelled my car insurance they didn't cancel the life insurance. And when I tried to cancel the life insurance I had to submit a cancellation form in person, which was denied 3 times for various reasons. Bottom line, I think they were playing tricks, and they might do this sort of thing if you ever try to make a claim.

I have had a very disappointing experience with State Farm and will never be using them again. When I first signed up, their rates were competitive, but over time, my premiums were repeatedly increased without a clear explanation. In addition to the rate hikes, I received frequent, persistent calls from my agent trying to sell life insurance. After months of these calls, I finally agreed to a policy. However, due to an error on the agent’s end, the paperwork had to be amended. The amendment form was supposedly mailed to me, but it never arrived. Despite multiple calls to address the issue, I was simply told it “must be stuck in the mail.” A couple of weeks later, I received a letter stating my life insurance policy was canceled for not signing the amendment — something I couldn’t do because I never received it.

Not long after, my auto rates went up yet again, so I switched to another company with better rates and service. Upon canceling my auto policy, I was owed a refund of approximately $248. State Farm claims they mailed the check on July 16, but as of August 5, it still has not arrived. When I called my agent about it, he was rude, dismissive, and told me he “can’t control the mail.” Instead of offering to promptly resolve the matter, such as canceling the original check and issuing a new one, he refused to look into it further.

It is concerning that the only mail I seem to be “missing” in such a short timeframe has been from State Farm — once regarding my life insurance and now for my refund. Between the unexplained rate increases, unprofessional behavior from the agent, and failure to ensure I receive funds owed to me, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend State Farm to anyone looking for reliable, transparent, and respectful service.

My contractor filed a claim on the roof. They denied it...okay. They also used it as an excuse to raise my premiums, and to remove roof coverage from my policy...making sure I knew that any further claims could cost me more than I can afford. A field adjuster deleted majority of the work the shop had completed while doing a supplement for additional damages (I had pointed out) saying it wasn’t related to the loss when he never had contacted me to ask (a tree fell on my car). When you call, you get an automated voice that can't understand simple numbers and letters and have to repeat yourself 8 times just for the automated voice to say they don't understand. Then when you actually get a hold of a representative, they tell you the claim has been reassigned to someone else. The only thing that is consistent with State Farm is that every time you have a claim with them, it will be a 5-month headache to get resolved. I can't wait to switch providers. From the moment the conversation began, she was dismissive, impatient, and downright rude. She consistently spoke over me, raised her voice, and made it abundantly clear that she had no interest in actually helping resolve my issue.

Instead of offering guidance or even the bare minimum of professionalism, she acted like I was an inconvenience and as if doing her job was beneath her. Any question I asked was met with an eye-roll tone or a snippy remark, and she seemed more interested in ending the call than providing any form of support. I’ve never encountered someone so unwilling to assist and so blatantly disrespectful while representing a company that claims to care about its customers. If this is the level of service State Farm thinks is acceptable, it’s deeply disappointing. No one should have to put up with this kind of treatment, especially not from someone who is supposed to be helping during a stressful situation caused by their customer. Do better.

I have been with State Farm for five years, holding both home and auto coverage. My rates increase with each renewal, regardless of the fact that I have had NO claims. When I call for an explanation each renewal, I'm told:

    1) Rates have increased due to an increase in total claims.
    2) Rates across the industry have increased.
    3) The cost of parts to repair autos has increased.

    4) Home prices have increased.

My home insurance renewal rate just increased by $300 from six months ago. I can't comment regarding making a claim, since I haven't had any. I'm switching to a different name-brand insurance company this renewal. I'm tired of their excuses for rate increases. If anyone is considering going with State Farm be aware of their tactics.

This is my second homeowner's insurance claim. Due to all the recent rainfall, I filed a claim because parts of the slat foundation my house is on are damaged. I contacted a company that specializes in leveling foundations. My house is four inches off from another part. I received a quote approximately $11,000 to $12,000. I have sent emails and taken pictures; the corner of my living room floor has water damage. I contacted a plumbing company and they fixed 2 spigots and the pipe. I paid $869 that I didnt really have. Now some bills will be late getting paid.

I kept checking the claim status online. My husband mentioned that they have tried contacting him, but he works long hours, mostly seven days a week, and cannot answer calls. Since I cannot get someone on the phone, I emailed claims asking them to contact me, as I am the one who filed the claim. However, it has been weeks, and today I received a call from Brandon ** who left me a message. I called him back, but he didn't answer, so I left a message. I called him again later in the day and left another message. He has not returned my call. Now, when I go online, my claim is closed. I called him towards the end of the day wanting to know why it's closed, but there was still no callback.

The first homeowner's insurance claim I submitted years ago was due to a severe storm, possibly with a tornado warning in Rome, GA, which brought powerful rain. It damaged the fiber cement siding; some cracked, some fell off. I submitted the claim with pictures, and the next day, I received a phone call from a claims representative. He asked if this was my first claim, and I said yes. He stated that he had reviewed my claim but it could not be approved. I asked why, since my siding is damaged due to the weather, and he said that unless a tree falls on my house, then they can do something. I was infuriated. I had to get financing to pay for the siding, and I did my roof at the same time. I am still paying for it. In summary, the homeowner's insurance with State Farm is unsatisfactory. I'm going to look for another company. They are eager to take your money but when you need help, they seem indifferent.

Avoid State Farm for your insurance needs. My State Farm agents deliberately concealed the information related to my policy, which proved to be expensive at the time of loss. From the outset, State Farm Adjustor have repeatedly suggested that the damage is "likely under the deductible," effectively discouraging me from moving forward with the claim. I find this approach troubling, as it appeared to undermine the purpose of my coverage and my right to a fair claims process. State Farm Adjustor suggested this in person without drafting an estimate or consulting with a contractor.

On April 22, 2025, Roto-Rooter, a licensed and professional water mitigation company, inspected the damage. Based on their expert findings —which included visible water damage and mold directly arising from the incident—they submitted an email to you with supporting photographs requesting approval of the mitigation and associated claims.

However, within mere hours of their submission, State Farm Adjustor called me to state that the claim would be denied. He asserted that there had been a leak “ongoing for several months”—a conclusion that appears to have been made without any objective investigation or factual basis. I categorically disputed this statement, as I have not observed any increase in my water bill that would indicate a prolonged leak. This assertion, therefore, appears speculative and unsupported.

Furthermore, I have spoken with multiple mold remediation professionals who are familiar with insurer tactics. They unanimously expressed concern that State Farm appears to be preemptively and unjustifiably seeking reasons to deny a legitimate claim. These independent experts indicated that the mold and damage observed are consistent with recent water intrusion and not the result of long-term neglect or maintenance failure, as has been implied.

I had to call into the main number each time I needed something and repeat my story each time. Despite the fact that I was not at fault they were very defensive towards me and offered no assistance to recoup my out of pocket expenses. Perhaps because I had underinsured coverage? After being involved in a potentially fatal head on collision I expected more assistance from my insurance representatives and they provided bare minimum.

The contracted mechanic sent me home in a vehicle that was not properly repaired and I am now navigating a supplemental claim. My rental car coverage has run out so I am walking. My car failed an Uber inspection in 2025 and it seemed beyond spending thousands to bring it up to speed though it still drives fine. I informed Monica a couple weeks in advance by messenger that I needed to downsize my policy. She chose to ignore this and tried to bill me for 320 dollars for my next monthly payment. Not Uber driving any longer cut into my income, and I obviously wasn't going to pay for exhorbitant rideshare insurance while no longer doing rideshare.

I was late on my payment, but within a 10 day grace period. She warned me that my payment of 320 was overdue and I reiterated to her that I was no longer paying that amount. Eventually she texted me that she had reduced my coverage. I went to the app to pay but it still demanded 320 dollars. I decided to get with a different state farm agent locally. My liftgate had a dent covering 40% of the area of the surface plus it was bent on the inside frame. State farm insist they can repair this by bending the panel back in place and filling with Bondo. This is the worst way to fix this door, but State Farm doesn't care. They just want a cheap repair. STATE FARM IS NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR - they are very deceptive and when it comes to your car repairs they will screw you big time.

My truck was hit, while parked, sitting in front of my house, by an elderly lady, courtesy of a mechanical failure that was not her fault. While polite, State Farm grossly undervalued my truck, despite my objections, and despite me having receipts over the last two years for work that totaled more than they offered, FOR THE ENTIRE TRUCK. The damage was minimal, but the repair paintwork pushed to "total loss". I submitted request to have it revaluated with all the receipts, and they proceeded to credit .10 on the dollar, for an adjustment of 777.00 dollars. This was not a garden variety truck, yet treated as if the truck was a junk scrapper special. It is pathetic that the average person has no recourse.

Ultimately, I vote with my dollars. I am actively leaving AAA, and searching for new insurance. My 8 car, 6 driver family + homeowner's insurance will not be going to State Farm. Had they had the decency to handle my claim with any integrity, they could have seen 10K a year in car insurance premiums, plus my homeowners policy. They lost 10k-12K to save themselves 3K. If I had stock in a corporation of this nature, I would be furious that they are missing out on sales because of their inability to see the long term potential of a customer.

State Farm’s supportive body shop said they can’t do the work you have to go to this shop as they are the only ones certified to do Audi aluminum work. We go there and they provide their quote. State Farm doesn’t like it and they are 10k off. They told me I have to pay the 10k. My policy says I pay $500. We have a contract. They said the body shop is too high. I said well find me a shop who can do the work. They said that isn’t their job.

I have asked multiple times for a manager call and was told it would be 24-48 hours. 10 days later still no call. The agents are uneducated. One was in his car while we were on the phone. You can’t talk to an adjuster and my agent has been on vacation it seems all year. It has been 2 months and my car is sitting at the body shop waiting to get worked on. If you have an Audi…they may sign a contract saying they will provide you insurance, but when it comes down to it they will breach that contract if they don’t like the cost. Every body shop I have called has said they are the worst insurance company to work with. Lawyer said the same thing. Beware of State Farm.

State Farm has been my auto insurance provider for 39 years, and this is the first time I’ve had any issues with them. However, I’ve spent countless hours trying to resolve a payment issue for a claim filed on January 18, 2025. Payment was supposedly made on January 23, but the auto repair shop never received it. We called State Farm on February 10 after the repair shop confirmed the work was completed and discussed payment options. Since then, we’ve made multiple calls—twice on February 10, twice on February 11—each time being told to wait 48 hours as they attempted to retract the funds.

On February 14, I followed up and requested a manager, but never received a callback. I called three more times on February 18, again asking for a manager and demanding a response by 5 PM. When I called back at 5:15 PM, I was hung up on. I called again at 5:18 PM, only to be told there was no record of the issue and that payment had already been made on January 23. I am beyond frustrated. Why is it so difficult for people to simply do their jobs? As a manager for a large health insurance company, we always ensure managers and supervisors are available, and calls must be returned within an hour, no later than 24 hours. The lack of accountability and customer service from State Farm is unacceptable.

My car insurance claim has been a nightmare despite paying an exorbitant amount for full coverage. After being rear-ended by an uninsured driver, my car has now been sitting in the body shop for a month. When additional damage was discovered during repairs, the process became a frustrating cycle—going back and forth with an inexperienced adjuster who has unreasonably delayed and denied approvals for 20 days and six supplements without proper justification.

These delays have caused significant out-of-pocket expenses for rental coverage, along with other unnecessary costs and inconveniences. I was told that a different adjuster had been assigned, yet that hasn’t happened. Worse, the current adjuster—who lacks the expertise to determine proper repair procedures—is now attempting to dictate how the body shop should complete the work. The shop had to send OEM repair instructions to the appraiser to correct her misinformation, highlighting her inexperience.

I’ve requested escalation, but it’s nearly impossible to reach anyone or even speak to the same person twice. I email daily with no resolution. To make matters worse, I discovered there’s an ongoing class action lawsuit against State Farm for this exact issue—especially with higher-end vehicles. Now, I’m left fighting to recover rental car expenses while they nitpick over labor, brackets, and even adhesive glue!

If you’re considering State Farm for auto insurance, stay away. Don’t be lured in by lower rates—when you actually need them after an accident, they will do everything possible to delay, devalue, and deny your claim. I was in a not-at-fault accident with an underinsured driver, meaning my own underinsured motorist coverage had to step in. It’s been 54 days, and State Farm is still dragging out the process with unfair and unethical tactics.

After nearly 1.5 months of calling daily for updates, they finally sent an adjuster to inspect my vehicle, only to determine it was a total loss. Then, it took them another week just to issue a settlement offer. This is where their unethical practices really showed:

    • They rated my garage-kept, professionally hand-washed BMW as “average” without justification.
    • When I asked for photos of the supposed “average wear and tear,” they couldn’t provide any—because they didn’t take them! Instead, they admitted they just guessed based on the damage photos.
    • They used outdated, non-comparable listings to determine my car’s value—some had open recalls, multiple owners, lacked upgraded packages, or were commercial vehicles.

    • Two of the three cars they used for comparison weren’t even on the market anymore, but they still used the old listings to lowball my car’s value.

I disputed their valuation with 20 comparable BMWs currently on the market, but they ignored my concerns and resent the same lowball offer with the same incorrect comparison vehicles. This is a classic example of State Farm’s unethical and unfair claims handling—delays, misleading valuations, and refusal to properly assess a policyholder’s loss. If you get into an accident, even when the other driver is 100% at fault, State Farm will drag out the process and devalue your claim. DO NOT trust State Farm with your auto insurance. They will work against you when you need them the most.

    Reviewed Dec. 24, 2024

Wow, where to begin, what a horrific experience being a customer of State Farm. Well, it started with me adding my son to my policy. I had called in a month or so before my son was getting his driver's license and got a quote. Fortunately, I wrote down the case number of that quote. Without that, I would’ve really been screwed! Because they completely overcharged what they had initially said the cost would be. Being a really busy person, I don’t check my bank statements constantly for everything that’s pulled out every month. Figuring that it’s the same amount every time like with my electric, phones, TV, etc. Well, I go back and check as I do periodically and State Farm overcharged the price quoted by 3 to 4 times. It took them months to finally straighten this out after I called them on it.

Fortunately, I had that case number written down, they were able to go back and have their dispatcher/archivist pull the tape and find out that I was truly correct. I had the exact amount quote. It still took a couple more months for them to sort this out. My local agent was Edie ** agency based in Ponte Vedra, Florida. FlashForward, my son gets in a little fender bender, rear-ended somebody doing about 7-miles an hour (no airbag deployment). We bring it to a shop that I had been to in the past, many years ago here in Jacksonville, FL. They had done a phenomenal job back then: Prostar Collision if you ever need anywork done. Go see James, the most honest man I’ve ever come across in the Auto industry.

Well, James runs an estimate and comes up with roughly $6,500 worth of damage. I send the estimate into State Farm. They have me take all kinds of pictures and uploaded to their app and fill in a whole bunch of other information. In addition to the estimate that I provided them. They knock it down and cut me a check for approximately $2,300 having subtracted my $500 deductible too. Now, Prostar is not a State Farm registered shop or whatever they call their accomplices. Thank God he wasn’t, because if he was, I probably would’ve been completely screwed. Because they would’ve fallen in locked step with State Farm’s nonsense.

So of course they tell me it’s my choice to take the car wherever I want to, but that Prostar is not a registered shop with State Farm and you may find the service different. They were 100% correct and had I followed their advice, to their place, I’m sure I’d be in an even worse position than I am currently. So of course I decide to go ahead with Prostar and James. They break down the car and it’s exactly what he said it was going to be. So he sends them in a supplement, which really isn’t a supplement because it’s the same exact thing that was on the original estimate. That takes them 10 days to analyze and approved, finally.

So now my car has been sitting there for two weeks with nothing happening. My policy provides me with 80% and $1,000 towards a rental. Then we get to the day before Thanksgiving. I’m on the phone with somebody there and they could go pull those tapes. Because I usually don’t curse and get very upset, but I did at that person. That person wasn’t able to authorize approximately $80.00 to extend that rental for two days so I can talk to a person, a manager who’s actually able to make a decision, that following Friday.

James does the initial work, they dig a little bit further. Find a couple more things, send it into State Farm of course many days go by, I can’t remember exactly how many at this point. Their website doesn’t work to upload supplements, they don’t return James calls…etc… So I start hounding them and finally get them to respond. Then multiple times they send people out to look at the car and take even more time. There’s another supplement that comes along for the airbags and module. They’re dragging their feet again, now I’ve exceeded my rental agreement after they’ve actually extended my rental two times realizing that it’s been their fault.

The car has been sitting there for so long, since the estimate and the supplements and everything James said was completely accurate. But apparently, State Farm’s way of doing business, I presume is to deny, deny, deny. Maybe wear you down to a nub and then hopefully you won’t do the work that’s required to be done.

So finally it comes down to this, turns out State Farm has a policy. If the damage is within 80% of the value of the car, then they end up totaling it. State Farm never told me about this policy or even this possibility. So now on top of this horrific experience I now have to pay Enterprise Rent-A-Car $600+ for the time State Farm dragged their feet and didn’t approve things in a timely fashion and in the end they totaled my vehicle.

So this is where I am now the car had been sitting, approximately EIGHT weeks (car went into the shop October 21, 2024 - December 13, 2024 settlement check for totaled car). I asked them to extend my rental again (so I can buy another car) since this has been their fault (as they now acknowledge). Now that I have to go search for another car out of the blue, at Christmas time. Nope, State Farm will not extend the rental beyond my contract with them even though it’s all 100% their fault that I’m in this position.

So now this is what I’m stuck with, I have a check for my vehicle. I’m down a car so my wife and my son have no way to get around town because I work 23 miles away from home. I have to pay for an Uber to take my son to school in the interim because I don’t have time to go search for a new car while it’s Christmas time. During all of this turns out State Farm overcharged me by many thousands of dollars on my premium, which finally got resolved, thank God I had the Case # and I had to go back through and do tons of the accounting on my end to prove to them how they’ve overcharged me and eventually, I did get my money back. As soon as all these things were done. I dumped State Farm like the turd they are and went back to USAA who I’ve been a customer with for 36 years. USAA is worth every penny, the service there has always been phenomenal. In the end, hard lessons learned, you get what you pay for!

Anybody out there, I would dump State Farm in a heartbeat. If I was State Farm, you might want to sell one less Super Bowl commercial and get it involved as to how you actually deliver your services. If anybody else operated the way that you do, they would be out of business. For anybody out there that has State Farm I suggest you go shop elsewhere ASAP. They’ll try to rip you off which is bad enough. When you actually have a have claim you’re going to be beyond frustrated. I’ve spent, I can’t even think, hundreds of hours dealing with them between the overbilling and now this car being totaled. Buyer beware, don’t stay with them thinking you’re saving a couple bucks. You’ll be screwed in the end….Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!! -Negative 5 stars

Unfortunately, from the very beginning, we encountered numerous challenges that left us feeling frustrated and unsupported. The agents assigned to our case were unhelpful, and the customer service team failed to address our concerns adequately.

After enduring what felt like an endless cycle of unresponsiveness and lack of assistance, we made the difficult decision to cancel our policy. However, even after canceling, we find ourselves being harassed by State Farm agents, which adds to our distress. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and we believe it is important to share our experience to warn others who may consider working with State Farm. We hope for a resolution to this situation and urge the company to reassess their customer service practices.

I'm a senior with limited balance so I couldn't go on my roof to find out who was lying to me. Turns out it was SF. A year later, the damage has caused extensive water damage to my attic and kitchen ceiling. They gave me $200 to fix it. All the years I have them money not realizing that it's junk insurance. I hope someone else can learn from my mistake.

This review is geared towards State Farm. Do NOT use them. Watch for premium creep - my insurance increased by 62% even though we had zero claims. They mentioned that this was due to the standard industry experience. We just submitted a claim for $1,500 for a stolen e-bike. This was denied, as apparently e-bikes are excluded from our coverage. I am fine with this, but we now lose our no-claims discount. My agent mentioned that this is outside of his control. My advice is to watch for premium creep and avoid using State Farm at all costs. They are just interested in their bottom line.

State Farm Insurance is acting in bad faith. Their customer, who is at fault, totaled my daughter's car, and they are only willing to pay a fraction of the value comparable to vehicles currently available within 200 miles of my home. It's a take-it-or-leave-it situation. They show no willingness to adjust the "comp value" despite evidence of replacement costs. Now we will be out of pocket for over $1000 due to their client's negligence. We are exploring what legal actions can be taken.

In my case, they did not send a bill due these changes ("the changes will catch up within a year") due to the date it fell on. Threatened to cancel me due to not paying the bill. When I called and told them I had not received a bill they said it was a computer glitch and I would get the bill in 6 months but did not address why they would cancel currently. Anyway, I paid just to get the coverage for now but am switching. I think they are more interested in the bottom line than the customer.

Let me start by stating I have been with State Farm for almost 10 years now. Started with car insurance and have since bundled with apartment and then home insurance. I have never once filed a claim with them up until last year when another driver hit me. It was a clear-cut case of the driver being at fault. Fast forward to today, and I am STILL waiting for this to be settled. It's been almost a FULL YEAR! From the very beginning, I have had non-stop issues with this claim, such that this entire year has been just awful with this black cloud looming over my head for the ENTIRE YEAR. My case has been sent from one person to another. Every person I speak with says something different, no one seems to know what they are talking about.

My claim was originally CLOSED before it had even been investigated right after the crash! I have had to CONSTANTLY call them to stay on top of them, to provide them with documents that they say they need, but then later on they don't, or after speaking with another person, finding out these documents weren't necessary. It has been EXTREMELY frustrating to say the least and as a working professional, I don't have the time or the patience for it. When it came to submitting my bills for the medical portion, my case was once again handed from one person to another, and I was originally wrongly informed that all I needed was to submit medical receipts.

The woman currently working on my case hardly answers the phone, hardly calls me back after leaving voicemails. I email asking for updates and get nothing. She tells me she needs itemized bills and records, has me fill out a form for release in July, 3 months later, still nothing back from her. Finally, hear back and she states, "Oh, we are waiting on the PIP team." Never heard of this team, no one has explained the entire process to me. So I call them and they have absolutely nothing on my case. All my emails I have been sending have been allocated to the other team and not shared with the PIP team.

Finally, after running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I submit the EOBs I have retrieved, and they reimburse me. But then I come to find that they won't reimburse me for my time off, for my doctor's appts, etc. I have been running around crazily these last few months trying to get these documents because they're clearly not making my case a priority even though I have more than vocalized wanting to get this case resolved and done with.

After I get the documents the woman on the first team claims I need, then all of a sudden, she doesn't need them anymore and immediately offers me some small sum of money (to try and placate me), as if pulled out of thin air, that doesn't even cover my time off from work! The lack of consistency, priority, efficiency throughout this entire process has been mind-blowing. I am beyond annoyed and frustrated with State Farm and highly do not recommend them anymore. This process should have been much more streamlined and efficient. To say it has been a hassle is a complete understatement. It's literally been a battle with them ALL YEAR LONG. The insurance company should be there doing the heavy lifting for THEIR customers, the ones who are paying them thousands of dollars yearly for coverage!

The first was for the roof; I had a roof guy inspect it and, after saying I'm with State Farm, he literally told me to say a prayer. I did, and I was approved for a full roof replacement. And now, secondly, the hurricane hit. Now everyone is submitting claims and for the second time, I had a great experience and was satisfied with the repair payment I received. And these claims were months, not even 3 months apart. I live in Hephzibah, GA. I've been a faithful customer for not even 2 full years and I've received outstanding service. All I can say is thank you, God, and thank you, State Farm. There are still good people within this company trying to turn the negative around; keep faith, y'all.

I have been a State Farm customer (home, auto, and life policies) for 48 Years and have been a State Farm customer for all of those years because they have been a reliable company to deal with. They get 5 stars for that. However, my 2 most recent experiences make me want to reduce that to 3 or 4 stars because SOME of their employees (and/or bosses/decision makers) seem to be either uncaring, inefficient, and/or not thinking things through. State Farm is authorized to automatically deduct premiums monthly for my insurance policies from my bank account; with the understanding that they will (and always have...until NOW) send me advance WRITTEN NOTICE VIA US MAIL as to any change in the monthly amount(s) (my State Farm account is marked accordingly).

This month (Oct. 2024) my rate changed WITHOUT ANY ADVANCE WRITTEN NOTICE TO ME and when questioned, their reason was THEY didn't think it was enough of an amount change to send such notice. I caught it reviewing my bank account online, calling the bank to verify what amount had been submitted by State Farm; and then calling State Farm (left message one day, called back a few days later) to be told the above "reason" why I was not notified. I have never given state farm cart blanche authorization to deduct just any amount they choose from my bank account! It is my money! My bank account! So if there is a rate change (regardless of how small or large an amount) they have no right to decide not to send me advance written notification via us mail as per my agreeing to have premiums automatically deducted from my account in the first place!

I’ve had State Farm car insurance for 15 years and have decided to cancel my insurance with them because of his mismanagement of my account. He overcharged me and then his company sent texts and emails stating my car insurance would be imminently cancelled. When I called to address this Doug Steiner said this was an error and then charged me a made up number less than the original amount. When I explicitly asked if I owed anything else, I was told I did not. Likely to get me off the phone so he could return to not doing his job.

I still continued to receive impending cancellation notices which Doug Steiner kept apologizing for. Shows how organized that office is. Doug Steiner then proceeded to overcharge me the original amount on my next bill, I presume thinking I wouldn’t notice. He then insisted that this is the amount I’m supposed to pay. The inconsistency and the lying is inexcusable. I have never spent so much time emailing and calling an insurance company. I have been with State Farm since the early 1980s. They are a solid company, and it depends on your driving record and habits. My low score is with only their Drive Safe and Save device with discount. The good news is that you automatically get a 10% discount. However, the device does not take in consideration of factors that should be considered. The device works off a sensor that tells it by g-force how fast you accelerate, stop, speed of vehicle, and cornering. My problem with the device is it can't tell the following:

    a. If you are driving on a dry sunny day or if it's raining.
    b. It does not know if traffic is heavy or light.
    c. It can't tell if the stoplight's yellow light is fast or slow.
    d. It can’t tell if someone pulls into your safety space between you and the next car, causing you to have to hit the brakes.
    e. It can’t tell why you must accelerate when moving from the frontage road into highway traffic.
    f. It can’t tell whether the curve you are going around is wet or dry, or someone is right on your tail.
    g. Once you get dinged for doing something the sensor does not like, it does not seem to take into consideration of all the times you score a 100%, like you would get if going to school in a class.

    h. Finally, it can’t tell if your hands are free or not when using the cell phone. Just a note in Texas it’s against the law to drive using a cell phone.

Now I have been driving for over 50 years. Just for the record, I have gotten tickets for speeding, running red lights and such, so I know how the system works. The reason for this review, is hoping that State Farm may hear what I and other people are telling them about this discount program and maybe, just maybe looking into seeing if they can fine tune the device, so that it’s fair for both the driver and State Farm.

State Farm is terrible. We had a pipe backup that flooded our house, so we called a plumber to check it out. The plumber identified the issue and called State Farm for us to see if it was covered. The agent advised that it was and told us the deductible. Based on that, we had the work and mitigation done. The agent called promptly on Saturday, but then we had to chase her down for days. When we were lucky, she’d return a call after two or three messages. "I’ll call tomorrow" never resulted in a call the next day. Even if you have nothing, do what you say you are going to do. Extremely poor service.

When it came time to pay the claim, and after five more calls and one message past a missed deadline, State Farm advised that it was not covered at all. We were on the hook for the $7,000 plumbing bill as well as the cost to replace the floor, walls, bathroom, and drywall. Instead of the $1,000 deductible they confirmed, we are on the hook for $20,000—*before* restoration! State Farm denied coverage, claiming the issue was due to tree roots. However, Roto-Rooter advised that there were no tree roots—something that is supported by video evidence, and Roto-Rooter even confirmed this.

The agent, Whitney, is extremely hard to reach. She doesn’t return calls, doesn’t follow up as promised, and is unwilling to help. She also keeps promising to have a manager call, but it has been a month for us and a week for the adjuster with no attempted contact (even though one was promised). To make matters worse, Whitney told the adjuster that our insurance agent was responsible for getting the claim reassigned. When we called him, he was extremely confused, and we confirmed this to be untrue. We hired a public adjuster, who also can’t get help from Whitney. We just want an adjuster to speak with him and assess the situation, which definitely falls under our policy. I plan to leave State Farm at the next opportunity. If that is a "Good Neighbor," I’d hate to see a bad one.

If you choose to stop for yellow lights, you get dinged for stopping too fast. I guess it's better to speed up and zoom thru the yellow. Can't use your hands free cell to make a call. You get dinged for that too. Can't even listen to BT music from my cell, yes....dinged again. Try passing someone on the highway or just try to keep up with traffic, yes.... dinged again for driving over the limit. Worst part is that they increase your rates and then give you a discount. My review will give experience from both home owners and auto claims. Been with State Farm Since 1988 (myself) and parents 52 years. Last year my parents had to make a homeowners claim due to storm damaging the roof and some inside. 1st claim in 52 years of homeowners. Got jacked around, and finally they denied coverage. Was ready to sue along with reporting them to the state of TN, and BBB. After making this clear to them 3 months after initial claim filing and being jacked around eventually being denied coverage, they finally stepped up and came through. I applaud our local agent for getting involved as well. We'd had enough and as I stated ready to take legal action. Our agent helped us. As far as auto claims, they have never had an issue with auto claims. I believe they've had maybe 3 claims in 52 years? Me personally, have never had an issue with auto claims. From uninsured motorist claim to being hit by a deer, I've always had a good experience with them on claims.

Although there was a claim in '11 where I had an accident and ran dad's truck into the shop wall. It was a beautiful 19 year old diesel truck at the time in excellent condition. Hard to find that clean and nice. The body shop stood up for me, sent in pictures and told them/SF how nice it was, too nice to total. They requested 3 comparables of like trucks for sale in this region preferably. It took me 3 hours searching the internet and had to go out as far as California and Oregon, with only 1 being 2 hours away from home. They accepted those comps, fixed the truck with no salvage title. Overall I'm happy with them on auto claims experience. Homeowners wise they need a reality check and to learn respect for their elders. They are also getting more and more greedy on premiums. Therefore I give them 3 stars since I can't give them 2.5.

I’ve been with StateFarm for 39 years. It is the ONLY Auto insurance I have ever had. I personally have no tickets and no accidents however 2 other people in my household have had one car totaled and a RV fire. As a result apparently Statefarm looks at it as the whole household. My policy has been randomly canceled. Now there’s some loyalty for ya huh? I did nothing!!!! NOTHING yet because other members in my household had claims MY policy gets canceled. 39 years. Wow. Really?

No wonder they got downgraded. They have no good business sense. That is just a dumb way to lose revenue not gain. Unbelievable. And Gigi doesn’t care. She is insensitive to clients regardless. She said “hey this is how I pay my bills.” Wow. So just cancel people who have done NOTHING WRONG. Ya that’s fantastic for gaining revenue and building a brokerage. Good Job Gigi!! You should be proud for canceling a 39 year loyal customer who ended up going elsewhere getting the same coverage for cheaper. So glad you have no idea how to maintain revenue and build a solid business. Bravo to ya!

Let’s also not forget you brought up a claim my husband had. And I had to remind you he has been dead for 8 years. Yep good job! Your response of trying to point out they are my family members is ridiculous. The bottom line is MY policy was canceled for something others did family or not. I did NOT deserve that kind of treatment after 39 years of loyalty. You as an agent should have done something. I’ve spoken to a couple other agents and it appears you’re just not really sure how to get things done for your clients.

The Attorney never calls me to let me know what's going on with the claim. I don't really know what could be taking so long, I've turned in all of the info on my surgery, etc.

In the beginning I had gotten a loan through Oasis and borrowed $8000 and it goes up every month after the loan. It is now 20k that I owe back. I have told them over and over that it's already an ungodly amount and still never get any answers. This has to be the worst claims department I've ever dealt with. I would not use State Farm if you want a speedy settlement. It almost seems like State Farm and the loan place are working together to make sure I don't get any money from the wreck and they get it all. But the other policy for the HOA has been a nightmare. My agent doesn't respond in a timely manner, they keep shifting the agent for our policy without notifying us, so I have to call multiple people. And for some reason I haven't been able to set up automatic billing on the policy after multiple calls with support reps. This has been an issue, because it means I need to call in each time to submit my payment over the phone, which is a huge hassle.

After police arrived, they cited the other driver for an illegal turn and my sister did not receive any citation. This is my car and my insurance, which is why I am advocating here. State Farm, who represents the other driver, is claiming my sister is 30% liable, which we obviously vehemently disagree given that their driver was cited for an illegal turn.

Furthermore, State Farm stopped returning our calls for a week and the online portal they "set up" for us did not work. Early on when they were returning calls, they also would only call my sister back, which seemed sexist to only want to speak with the female. Over 3 weeks has passed and nobody even went to the collision center to access the cost of the damage.

Was bait and switched. Talked me into leaving my current policy with the promise of savings. After three months of paying the agreed amount, they upped my premium halfway through. Told me I had a youthful driver and that was the reason. At no time did I not mention my TWO teenage drivers. Even gave them their driver's license number so I’m sure they had the correct info. Three months paying and now they want me to pay the difference at a 150 a month increase! Somehow they changed it without a notification. Without an updated bill. And pretty much without my knowledge. Wouldn’t have known but I needed a replacement card and when they sent it it had a declaration page. The numbers didn’t add up. So I checked my app. That’s how I found out. No letter. No apologies. Just "Sorry, nothing we can do about it."

Well now, I’m screwed out of my three year with my former insurance. They didn’t save me money, they are charging me 250 more. And sure. Call the agent. Call corporate. Oh well look into it…saw this on Reddit too. Must be a scam they are running. BEWARE. I’ve had insurance for over 23 years and never had this happen. Sure they mess with you on the quotes. But they call. They notify. I’ve never had this happen before. Not sure it’s even legal. I’m canceling and forget the back payment. Small claims court seems worth the $500 difference or more. I would have never switched in the first place. Now I’m out 250+400 (because when I got a new quote from my previous insurance it went up 400 from the last one) and no more loyalty chance. So yeah. Time to reach out to the lawyer in the family. Don’t ever work with State Farm. They are a scam. Period.

I have been a customer of this insurance company for over two decades, entrusting them with both my auto and home insurance needs. Despite numerous claims submitted over the years, not ONCE have they ruled in my favor. Their approach to handling auto insurance claims is disconcerting, often attributing the fault to their own client! For instance, when I was rear-ended, they concluded that I had switched lanes in front of another vehicle, causing the collision.

In another incident, I was hit by a truck on a one-way lane while waiting to merge into traffic. The company held me accountable, stating that as a ‘responsible driver’, I should have been “looking both ways”. My home insurance claims have met with similar resistance. Despite multiple submissions, none have been covered. Their reasons for denial are perplexing. When I experienced water damage, they claimed this would have to be covered by FEMA flood insurance. When my roof developed a leak, they estimated the repair costs to be LOWER than my deductible, thereby making me liable for the expenses. What they stated: “We have determined your loss does not exceed your $2,643 deductible. Therefore, we are unable to make a payment on this claim.”

They even refused to cover the cost of repairing my roof after it was damaged by hail. I sought the help of a public adjuster and even involved a lawyer, but to no avail. Their conclusion, “The $20,874.64 estimate prepared by El Paso Public Adjusters LLC has been reviewed. It has been determined there are items included that are outside the scope of repairs for covered damage. Our findings as outlined in our June 6, 2021, letter remain unchanged.” I was left to shoulder the cost of replacing the entire roof. This company has been a true disappointment, and I felt it necessary to share my story so that others may make an informed decision when choosing their insurance. To the insurance I say, "Nothing goes UNNOTICED by the DIVINE." Your decisions have ALL been noted.

On March 12, 2024 I was driving my 2020 BMW X7 on the FWY and some moving object suddenly was moving toward my vehicle and caused major noise on the bottom of the car and damaged the bottom of my vehicle. I immediately pulled over to check what damage I had on the vehicle and I was unable to identify any damage to the exterior of the vehicle but I was unable to go underneath the car to see what damage it may have caused. I dropped my car few days after the BMW of Valencia dealership for my normal service as I have been doing all my services at the same dealership since I purchased the car.

The service advisor by name of William called me and advised me that he cannot release the car to me due to severe damage to the bottom of my car that have totally damaged the Control Arm of my vehicle. He had informed me it is extremely life threatening to drive the vehicle with the damage and advised me to contact my insurance company. Therefore, I have contacted my Auto Insurance State Farm on March 15, 2024 and have informed them of the incident details and they have opened claim number 05-64Q1-27K. State Farm representative have informed me the inspector is scheduled to inspect the car on March 21st, 2024. The inspector never showed up or call on March 21st, 2024 and they were rescheduled to show up on March 27, 2024 and again very unfortunate the inspector was no show and no call.

On March 28th, 2024 finally inspector by name of Dwight had inspected the car while he was in rush and without speaking with the assigned licensed mechanic. At the time of inspection on March 28th, 2024, William the Service Advisor of BMW shared with Dwight the damage is from the accident and it had turned the Control Arm of the car and shared with the inspector all the details that this is due to the accident and not due to wear and tear. The vehicle has been serviced for all the years I had owned it at the same dealership and never had any damage or wear and tear concern to the Control Arm.

The BMW of Valencia had issued an invoice for repair in the amount of $23,000 approximately. However, Dwight have decided to issue payment in the amount of $3300 and noted my claim "Physical inspection estimate supplemental will be needed noted lower torn supplement”. The BMW of Valencia dealership and I immediately contacted State Farm to dispute the payment as there is a difference in $20,000 between the invoice and the payment approval. State Farm then increased the payment to $6200 and again we disputed and demanded an inspector to come out to inspect the car again as there are discrepancies between the provided detailed supplements, pictures and State Farm inspector's findings and their payment approval.

On April 3rd State Farm agreed to send an inspector on April 12th to inspect the car but again the inspector was no call no show. They rescheduled for April 15th and again State Farm inspector no call no show. I had to escalate my concern about State Farm Discriminator and unethical business practices and they agreed to send an inspector on April 26th, 2024 which again it was the same prior inspector, Dwight. He discussed the detail of the damage with William the BMW Service Advisor and agreed the car will be total loss and he will go back to his office to write his notes and finalize the claim. However, State Farm discriminator and unethical business practices continues and Dwight approve payment only in the amount of $7000 out of $23,000 invoice.

State Farm representative on a recorded line on April 3rd, 2024 have informed if I want this damage to be fixed then I will have to go to a State Farm Approved Repair Shop or otherwise I will have to pay the difference out of my pocket. I have informed her about my rights as I am not required to go to their approve shop and I have the rights to repair my vehicle at the shop of my choice.

State Farm business practices are extremely unethical as they purposely delay their inspections and make final decision on claims and payments to buy time for their benefits. In addition, they are redlining their consumer by forcing them to complete the repair at a State Farm Approved Repair Shop to do a mediocre job and to get lower cost and commission back. In addition, I have demanded many calls for management to reach out to me and they never have returned my call other than one call from one manager by name of Juan **. State Farm never provided me with any of disclosures and rights and never have informed who is my claim adjuster is.

As of today May 3rd, 2024 total of 50 days since the claim has been filled and I have not gotten my claim to be fully paid, no payments were ever received, no repairs were ever completed and the car was not totaled by the inspector as he has informed the BMW of Valencia while I continue to pay for my car. State Farm is putting my family, babies at risk by only approving partial of the job to be completed and forcing me to utilize their mediocre State Farm Approved Shop and I will hold State Farm accountable to any further damage to my car or any future accident that may be caused due to the lack of completion of the repairs of this claim.

I am 77. I have been with State Farm over 50 years and have not made a claim in 40 years. I have both auto and home ins. I just got my 6 month premium bill for my 2014 Camry with full coverage. It went from 550 dollars to 621 dollars. My agent says it keeps going up because of my age. I am thinking about talking with other ins. companies to see if I can get a cheaper price. You would think the rates would be based on a person's own driving record and not on age group. My aunt is 98. She has ins. with another company on her car and her premium was 435.

State Farm is the worst insurance company that I have ever dealt with! I can't tell you how bad they are in the space allotted. Just stay away from them! I hit a deer 2 months ago (14 November), and my claim is still open. The claims department was rude and unprofessional. They totaled my truck, and I bought it back because it has hard-to-find features like an 8-foot bed. When I told their representative that I couldn't come close to replacing my truck for what they were willing to pay, which was very little, she told me that I would have to talk the sellers down. When I mentioned that they wouldn't come down on their price, she told me that, "If I couldn't talk them down, it was my own dumb fault". That upset me. I also told them another time that I did not give them permission to record one of our conversations. The girl told me that we weren't being recorded, but I found out tonight that she did record the call. She lied to me about that.

As soon as I mentioned that State Farm was my insurance company, all of the auto body shops cringed and said that they are the worst company to deal with. Several friends have canceled their insurance with State Farm after dealing with them on a claim. After they totaled my truck and I told them that I wanted to buy it back, they sent me a checklist of what I needed to send them. All they said they wanted was my unsigned title. I even called them to verify this. They said that's all they needed. Over 2 weeks later, after hearing nothing from them, I contacted them to find out what was going on.

Then, they tell me that they needed the registration card. I asked them why they didn't put it on the checklist they sent and tell me when I called and asked them before if they needed anything else. They had no answer for that. I also told them that I lost the original registration card and got a copy from the DMV with a receipt stating the original was lost. I sent these items to them, and again almost 2 weeks go by, and I get an email stating that they need a signed letter stating that the original registration card was lost.

They didn't say who was supposed to write and sign the letter. The receipt from the DMV that I sent to them stated that the registration I sent to them was a replacement of the original that was lost. So again, I called them and asked why they didn't request this signed letter when I sent the new registration letter in a few weeks earlier. Again, no explanation. I also asked them if I needed to get a signed letter from the DMV. They said no, that I needed to write and sign the letter. Now it's been another couple of weeks with no response from them. I was so fed up with the claims department that I had to call my agent today (12 January) to call the claims department to find out where my paperwork was so that I could legally put my truck back on the road. I did not want to deal with their claims department again. It's been almost 2 months dealing with them on this claim, and I still don't have paperwork.

They finally paid me the rest of the money they owed me from this claim last week. Almost 2 months after I made the claim. They have cost me a great deal of money by the way they have handled this claim, and all they say is "I'm sorry," but refuse to reimburse me for everything it has cost me due to their poor handling of this claim.

I have been without my truck for almost 2 months, and it has basically caused me to lose a great deal of money, as I need my truck for work. This is my only vehicle. I filled out a survey that they sent me over the weekend. It wasn't good for them. Management called me tonight, hoping that I would retract my answers, but it made things worse. They're like politicians. They pretend to care about you when it benefits them. Anyway, sorry for the vent, but I needed to get it off my chest.

Now I had to cancel a policy and it is still in underwriting being looked at to get our refund. 1.5 months... Most websites you can make your own changes, or at least get it done within a week and you see the changes made. Too frustrating, I'm done. And, I did get it cheaper from another popular company.

Updated on 03/10/2024: I recently wrote a review for this company because our auto premiums keep rising on our aging vehicles. They have not responded to the review but we received a letter from the home office on Bloomington Illinois saying that they made an error on the premium on our 2014 vehicle and have credited our account, however, there is no credit appearing when I checked our account. So I called our agent as instructed in the letter and was told that they didn't know the exact amount of the credit but it was approximately $1.00. This enraged me even more that they would waste the time, paper & postage to inform us of this minuscule credit.

So I called Bloomington and those representatives had no idea how much the credit was and told me that the agent, Cindy **, should have the information and they would have them reach out to us.... After a week crickets. Yesterday, 3/9/24, we received another of the same form letter from Bloomington Illinois stating the same garbage about an error and a credit was issued on our 2019 truck. We were told by Bloomington that the credit would appear on our next statement. So we will have to wait to see this whopping "$1.00" credit. In the mean time I have to be subject to watching all these State Farm commercials with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey, Ludacris, Jimmy Fallon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, & Danny DeVito that State Farm is paying thousands of dollars to to drum up new customers. This is the real reason my premiums on aging vehicles are going up.

Original: Our premiums keep rising on our vehicles even as they age and we have filed no claims in years. When I called our agency to find out why, I was told that our state of Tennessee made them raise the rates. Then we start seeing all these high dollar celebrities in numerous State Farm commercials. I have reached out to the state of Tennessee and have not heard back. I think State Farm is raising premiums on long standing customers to pay for all these high profile celebrities in their commercials to drum up new business. Why do they need to pay out so much money for these celebrities to do their commercials??? Really???

Well, I guess that is why lawyers exist. Unfortunately for the company, they just earned a court case against their insured and them as well. Too bad they prefer to litigate instead of handling the issue with the clear facts, and pictures. And Sarah J. I believe you need training in how to handle these cases. Do yourself a favor and stay out of this company because, due to their poor claim management, you will get involved in litigation to go beyond any limit you may have on your policy.

After a few choice words to her, she backtracked on that. I had all of the information on the other party with the exception of his policy number. She told me I would need to give them that, that State Farm is unable to look this up, I should call the other insurance company and get it. When I contacted Progressive on my own, they didn't give me the policy number, but told me there is a database where State Farm could access this information. Progressive offered to process the claim for me and the whole process was very smooth. They took care of rental car and payment to the body shop. So State Farm did nothing for me and I even saved them having to go through the subrogation process. If you want a do it yourself insurance company, then State Farm is the one for you.

The unfortunate issue here is that State Farm Insurance has gotten so big that it cares little about customer service than it does about its bottom line. I have been insured by State Farm for about 50 years. Over that period of years, I had previously had reasonable experience with claims. I haven't had a chargeable claim for over 28 years. I have had a few windshield claims, have had others cause damage to my vehicles and a couple of animal collisions. Increasingly, I have had difficulty in just contacting a human being in the claims department. I can't make quick contact at all. I'm always put on a minimum of 10 minutes of hold or more and then after someone finally answers, I'm put on hold again.

State Farm Claims Department has gotten to be the worse I have ever experienced. One would think that after paying premiums for 50 years, claims would be a breeze. Not at State Farm. Now, you are forced to deal with their electronic labyrinth of avoidance of human contact. I have most recently retired. I had spent over 45 years in (claims). In those 45 years, the watch word has always been, contact, contact, contact. When the phone rings, you service your customer like they were family. Not so at State Farm, they put you in their electronic avoidance machine so they don't have to pay for human contact. The personal aspect of servicing their customers has now gone to hell.

In the past many many years, State Farm has been known to (reorganize) so many times that if you went into the history, I doubt you could find all of the details. They always say, they are going to enhance their customer service. What that really means, is that they are going to cut cost by removing human contact from the system and let computers, websites and apps handle their claims. Even contact with you agent has gotten to the point that its worthless to call their office. They don't answer the phone themselves, you are put on hold, an assistance answers if you are lucky. State Farm Agents are now useless.

I am finally sick of paying nearly $2,000.00 per year for auto insurance and not being able to raise someone on the phone. It's staggering to think how much money I have spent over 50 years. What reality is, and what most people do not understand is that insurance generates revenue from investing your money, not from the premiums alone. State Farm, in my opinion has finally gotten me to the point that I am actively seeking an alternative insurer. Even the E-Insurers have better claim service than State Farm. They have standards! State Farm has now seemed to have set a minimal standard of assuring they have as little contact with their policy holders as possible and to maximize their profit. State farm fails at their claims with their policy holders because they have that disease of high profit and lowering their cost of claims by ignoring their policy holders.

Initially, I was very satisfied with State Farm's auto insurance policy as the policy I received was $500 less than the previous company I was insured with.

After sending over proper signed documents and the documentation that a recall on my vehicle had been fixed, I received all my policy documents and cards in the mail. A few weeks went by and I received a phone call from State Farm saying they never received these documents, so I emailed them again giving them the benefit of the doubt. A few days after getting confirmation that State Farm did in fact receive my documents, I got a piece of paper in the mail stating my vehicle didn't meet the proper engine immobilizer standards and my policy would be canceled on X date. This came much to my surprise as that exact issue was fixed with the recall.

Following this, I proceeded to call State Farm on three separate occasions. Each time I spoke with a different representative who provided a similar answer of "Oh that's strange", "Must have been made by mistake", "Let me contact a different department", "We'll get back to you on that". On each of these occasions, I received no call back or clarification as to what the heck was going on.

Much to my surprise, my policy was in fact cancelled without so much as a phone call despite my policy showing as active in my account the entire time leading up to this. After calling State Farm for a 4th time, the representative now informed me that State Farm does not insure any Hyundai vehicles manufactured between 2015 and 2021 (my vehicle is a 2020). I should not have been given a policy in the first place; however, State Farm associates appear to be morons that don't understand their own companies policies. The Toyota Service dept keeps telling me they will not release my truck until State Farm calls them... I have left multiple messages to have State Farm (Nathan) call them and get this taken care of, they still have not done so. I am still stranded in Texas and it is now Tuesday.... State Farm, as with many insurance companies care about only 1 thing. Money. I think the best way to understand it is just to watch the Incredibles, and that scene with Bob at his job. Does it matter who is at fault? No. Does it matter what the circumstances were? No. Does it matter if anybody is being unethical? No. What matters is the cold, hard cash. You can pay thousands of dollars, have a fender bender with barely a scratch and OOOP, they had to pay money to fix it? Strike one. Soon enough, you are out with yesterday's garbage. Heaven forbid you have a child learning how to drive and something goes wrong. I can promise you it will haunt them for years to come. They say they only look at the past three years. That would be a lie. They say they have your back, and that would be a lie. Any possibility they have to pay anything, even if only partial fault, they can, and will, throw the sack at ya.

With that said, it does have some lovely agents. I could rave about how awesome they are. Heck, an agent thought it would be ridiculous to sack somebody over what happened to me, but, you know, he appealed and the company still said "Whaaat, we must pay money even though the person has barely had issues? No way!" Amazing how they can hire good ethical employees, but can't be a good ethical business. You can spend way more in premiums than they have ever had to pay for anything, but who cares? They don't want to to ever have to do their job.

My car was damaged by a trucking company which agreed to pay $15K for my repair on a 2022 Nissan with 2,889 miles. State Farm refused to use new parts on a new car & not a certified repair shop. They sent a $7K check to cover the repair and would not escalate any discussion. Question #1: What do they plan to do with the incremental $8K they will receive from the trucking company? As a 20+ year State Farm customer I am appalled. My policy covers 3 cars, my home and life insurance. I will work with the trucking company directly and find a new insurance company. State Farm blew it!

I contracted State Farm for auto and rental insurance 28 days before my old insurance would be terminated. I gave them all the information they requested for a quote, including information about a ticket we had. They gave me a quote for 6 months and I paid for it 20 days before the policy would go into effect. Three days before the policy started, I received three letters (one for each vehicle) with an 'adjustment, making the quote they initially gave me more expensive. They declined waiving this new quote and I was told, on the day of when the policy would go into effect, that they were hoping to keep my business but, if I chose to cancel it, they would refund the premiums. This means I would have to find another insurance right away or be stuck with a company that took a long time to process my application. These are the type of practices that make companies these days untrustworthy.

They want to log where you are and what you are doing even if you are on a holiday 3000 miles away and your car is at home. That's what I noticed happened to me. I took a flight into San Diego and spent some time in Mexico. I never rented a car and my car stayed at home 3000 miles away. My iPhone warns me that State Farm app is tracking me 30 times a day. YES they want to know where I am walking, eating and crapping. This App is not about Saving a few bucks for driving less - They want to track and log your activity and perhaps sell it to some corporation or country to harvest it for power and profit. Makes you feel like you are on a leash. Makes me feel violated. How is this even legal. Where is our government. Sold out??

When I turn the setting from 'Always' to 'While using the App', I get a message that 'To work properly the setting must be on Always'. Later I get a message from State Farm saying they can't record my driving because I changed my setting. This is a technical easy fix for State Farm, but PLEASE NOTE that they are giving you the discount so they can track you like a dog with a chip on its collar. WHAT A SHAME!

Steve ** has been my agent for fifteen years. I really never had much contact with this agent until recently when my rate 29% in a year for my car insurance. My small, Mazda SUV is over six years old. No speeding tickets or at fault accidents. I have a great credit rating. Have home and auto together. I am 60 years old and live in the suburbs. Only issue was while I was at swim with my disabled son, my car was ran into by another car (just prior to my rates going up). Interesting--I wasn't even in the car!!! The house has had no claims and I lived her for 30 years!! I did the Lexis Nexis report and no answers there either. Steve just didn't know why-- only possibilities. No answers. We emailed and phone calls over and over even though all of his "possible scenarios why" were disproven. He would give me possible reasons why- which were not factual.

Then I called State Farm directly and I was told the only way to find out why specifically--- is your agent has to talk with underwriting to find out the exact reason why. I then emailed Steve Urbelis back again and and stopped responding to my emails. This agent is not there for you when you have an issue. I have been with State Farm for over 30 years--with an outstanding record. After Al, my first agent retired, I just kept who took over his business which was Steve **. So I was with this agent for fifteen years and he can't advocate for me or find out why my rates went up 29%. Needless to say, I finally left Steve ** because he was not doing his job and then decided to blow me off and not even respond back to me anymore.

When you need your agent most, Steve Urbelis is nowhere to be found. He doesn't want to advocate or figure out what's happening to his clients. If he and underwriting are the only ones that know why---why doesn't Steve tell me? Imagine if I was in a serious accident and he didn't respond back if he felt he didn't want too!! So unprofessional!! This agent is a great big thumbs down for not doing his job and advocating for his clients.

When I complained, my complaints went unanswered. And State Farm doesn't send proof of insurance cards on time, meaning you're driving illegally. If State Farm can't handle the basics of insurance responsibly, and won't respond reasonably to genuine complaints, it has no credibility. After all, insurance is only their promise to do what they say they will do. If they ignore the facts when only $100 is on the line, imagine what they will do when the claim is in the thousands or more. Goodbye State Farm.

It is May 2023. An offer was given which was not actual cash value. I followed their rules and presented 3 examples of actual cash value. One of their quotes was a vehicle that had hit a tree for a comparable to lower the actual cash value. They ignored the counter offer.

One male representative loudly and rudely berated myself on a call. He googled some car in Minnesota as a comparable in Minnesota--I live in NY. I called others and always said, "We will review and get back to you" and never did. They did back pay for a rental but would not extend the rental. It's been 5 months. If you have or are buying Auto Insurance in Michigan or if you are Disabled – READ THIS. Michigan used to have the HIGHEST insurance premiums in the country, by far. No, not b/c of car theft, it was b/c we were all required to pay for UNLIMITED PIP, no choice. As of July 1, 2020, b/c of Senate Bill 1, Unlimited PIP was no longer mandated. This is a LAW in the state of MI. But I can tell you, every single auto insurance co. I’ve dealt with has STILL tried to charge the FULL premium for PIP, even if you have your own medical insurance, they do not allow you to opt-out, or they try to hide this fee in their billing.

YOU MUST LOOK AT & KNOW YOUR PIP LEVELS OR THEY WILL BY DEFAULT LEAVE YOU AT UNLIMITED. I attempted to obtain new Auto Insurance quotes on the providers’ websites. Under what was needed, I input in multiple locations, “State Minimums,” “No PIP,” “No Work Loss,” “No Attendant Care Expenses,” and again “Absolutely Positively Nothing Related to PIP.”
This is the State of Michigan Auto Insurance Minimums:
    • Up to $50,000 for a person who is hurt or killed in an accident.
    • Up to $100,000 for each accident if several people are hurt or killed.
    • Up to $10,000 for property damage in another state.
    Also called 50/100/10.
    • Property Protection Insurance (PPI) of $1 Million

    • PIP of one of SIX levels that you choose

Local State Farm Agent reaches out, she supplies me with what she (lies) & says is the State of Michigan Minimums, so the differences are as follows:
    • $50,000 for property damage (vs. $10,000 required)
    • $50,000/$100,000 for Uninsured Motorist
    • $50,000/$100,000 for Underinsured Motorist
    • Limited Property Damage (this is just additional & NOT required)

    • PIP at the $250,000 level (that is the 3rd highest possible level)!

Outrageous! I answered this lying email stating: I have perfect credit, a Master's Degree, no tickets, no accidents, live alone, and have an older car – I already stated I do not need this EXTRA coverage. I also said, my income is SSDI, I am 100% Disabled, I do not need to drive daily to work, do not need this loss-of-income related insurance. I have FULL Medicare (Parts A, B, & D) & full Medicaid. I am also Hard of Hearing. So even tho she pretended that her bill was the State Minimums, she came up with a new bill.
That one had the following, all of which are NOT required in Michigan:
    • $50,000 for property damage (vs. $10,000 required)
    • Limited Property Damage (this is just additional & NOT required)

    • PIP – again! Unbelievable. And this time she actually deleted the coverage amount, so prior it was $250,000, now that line was blank. She also oddly put in a Homeowners Insurance discount, but for that I have Allstate, so you know with the final quote, that discount would have been removed.

After looking at this, I yet AGAIN reminded her I only needed the State Minimums. And absolutely no PIP. Want to know what she said? “Yes, there are certain parts of PIP that no one can opt out of.” That is an absolute blatant LIE. We as MI voters and the Senate along with the Governor got rid of PIP 3 years ago in this form. So, this is very, very important, and if you too have Medicare, you need to read this, as I didn’t know.

Here are the levels you can choose from for PIP:
The PIP medical coverage options are:
    • Unlimited coverage
    • $500,000 per person per accident
    • $250,000 per person per accident
    • $250,000 per person per accident with exclusions
To select this option, one or both of the following must be met:
o The named insured who is excluding PIP medical has qualified health coverage that is not Medicare; AND
o Any resident relative or spouse who is excluding PIP medical has qualified health coverage
    • $50,000 per person per accident
To select this option, both of the following must be met:
o The applicant or named insured is enrolled in Medicaid; AND
o Any spouse and all resident relatives have qualified health coverage, are enrolled in Medicaid, or are covered under another auto policy with PIP medical coverage.
    • No PIP medical coverage
To select this option, both of the following must be met:
o The applicant or named insured has coverage under both Medicare Parts A and B; AND
o Any spouse and all resident relatives have qualified health coverage or are covered under another auto policy with PIP medical coverage.

If you don’t make a choice, they make one for you and no surprise, it’s Unlimited PIP.

So this “Agent” refused to give me the no PIP coverage which I am eligible for. But here’s a WARNING & what I just found out: “It is important to note that having Medicare does not mean you have to opt out of PIP medical coverage. You can still purchase the level of PIP medical coverage you choose. If you choose to purchase PIP medical, your PIP medical will serve as primary payer for your medical costs after an auto accident up to the coverage limit you’ve selected. After that, your Medicare coverage will pay, subject to the limitations of the Medicare coverage.” In other words, if this Agent had enrolled me in the $250,000 level of PIP coverage or the other level that she deleted the name for, I would NOT be covered by Medicare (or Medicaid). This is not a choice I was given by State Farm, this stupid Agent, or anyone in charge, I found it on the Michigan.gov website!

Here's a final quote from this same Agent when I called her out on being untruthful: “There are parts of the PIP provision that no one can opt out of. The vast majority of PIP benefits you may use your Medicare and opt out of. This is why there remains a minimal amount charged under the PIP line of coverage.” What? Seriously, what? Nowhere does it say if I buy State Farm’s plan, that I requested Michigan Insurance Minimums and this Agent lied, twice, by stating that is what she provided, does it say that by buying their policy, I would be refusing my own health insurance coverage, that is Medicare & Medicaid. Nowhere does it say that.

My vehicle will not be repaired unless I pay for it. I had no fault in this whatsoever so I'm questioning what have I been paying for all these years? To top it off, I'm the one who had to pay for and submit the police report and footage, they did absolutely nothing to reach out to the officer or police department in order to obtain the footage. First of all the premium was $488.95 that was taken and they owed me 3 of the 4 weeks but I received in the mail $85.53. Now I know anyone with any sense understands that's not right. I've spent the better part of 2 weeks going back and forth with the agent which each time says it's the underwriter that determines the refund and even agrees with me that's not right. Several times the agent went back and forth with the underwriters and even told me they owed me more but would call us back the next day.

Well I'm sure you guessed no one called us back. Today on got on the phone and called the corporate office for State Farm thinking surely as big as they are they would help me fix it. Nope I was greatly disappointed! The person on the phone said we don't talk to people only the local agents in that state could talk to underwriting and not them. What??? But they did make a chain of calls to my state to speak to someone who basically told me she's been doing this for 25 years and that's the way it's done. But when I asked how it was determined my refund she was without words.

How can you run a business and not know how to help a customer understand what they being charged for and why their rebate makes no sense. I was told they took fees from my rebate because I never provided the proper documentation. So I had it for 6 months and now when I'm due a refund something is missing? Run as far away from this company as far as you can because at the end of the day they don't care about making things right and just saying I'm the expert of 25 years and that's just the way it is. WORST experience with an insurance Company in my 33 years of driving and I used to be a State Farm customer (never will be again). I was involved in an accident (no fault of my own, the State Farm driver got a ticket for the accident). Since the State Farm customer was clearly at fault, I filed the claim myself with State Farm instead of going through my insurance Company so I'm not out my deductible for several months. Since my car was still technically "driveable" although the bumper is hanging down etc.., they wouldn't even send an adjuster out to see the car.

They said I had to download their app, take photos and submit through the app (30 minutes). I did and asked to speak with the adjuster when their estimate came back $4,000 lower than the two shops that I took my car to....they pushed for me to go to their shop which I didn't feel good about (my car is a Corvette with 9,000 miles so I wanted it back to like new condition). Well long story short, I made over 10 phones calls, waiting over 3 hours in total on the phone was promised 3 call backs which I never got over 3 weeks, all the while my car is not being driven.

On my 11th call, I spoke with Chris Mance who told me that what they offered was all that they were going to pay and I could file the claim on my own insurance Company. I explained to Mr. Mance that when I spoke to an attorney I was advised that I could sue the 70 year old State Farm customer who hit me (which I don't want to do b/c she is someone's Grandmother who made a mistake!) and his response was you sure can! So after 4 weeks total from the time of my accident, I filed the claim with my insurance Company, NC Farm Bureau. WOW, what a difference! I filed the claim, received a call from an ADJUSTER the next morning (which I couldn't ever speak to at State Farm) who provided her direct number and within 2 days had approved my repair! Incredible how State Farm is still in business playing the shell/waiting game with customers.

In the state of MN (can't speak to others, may apply) if you accidently hit a relative's car that also lives with you, such as an adult child, mother-in-law etc, State Farm will not cover the accident. This is an exclusion on their policy, my exclusion are listed on pages 9 and 10 of my policy. In our case our son's insurance will pay for his damages caused by my wife hitting his car. His insurance company wants to be reimbursed for the damages so they'll come after my wife for the entire $2300 bill. State Farm will NOT cover this per their exclusions. You have NO coverage in this instance and have to pay for all the damages. I've filed a complaint with the insurance commissioner of MN and waiting on a review of my case.

In July, I bought insurance from State Farm online for my cheap 2008 Kia Optima car. I chose full coverage on the site. 3 days ago my car was stolen with all my stuff (phone, cards, cash and etc.). I contacted my agent and he told me that I had not full coverage insurance. And to be more precise, the minimum insurance. I was at a loss because it turns out I was paying $200 every month for a minimum insurance of car's cost of only $7,000!!! I am 26 years old, I have been driving a car for 7 years without incident and I have been driving in the USA for half a year.

I did not suspect that I had incomplete insurance, because I paid quite a lot for this insurance. I was sure that $ 200 is the amount for which I will have full insurance, as I indicated on the site. Because as soon as I arrived in the USA, I took out insurance in another company for a car with the same price, for two people. And we only paid $100. Now I'm crushed! I am a migrant, the car and the things in it - that's all I had ... I was robbed and I lost it all. But it turns out that I was also robbed by my insurance company, because on the site I indicated full insurance and paid $ 200 per month, but it turned out that this was the minimum insurance... My friends advised me that your company is good and reliable, in which there will be no problems. But it turned out that choosing you as an insurance company is my biggest mistake in the USA!

My car was unattended and not running in my garage. When entering my house I pressed the garage door close button and the garage door closed, raking my liftgate as it closed. Damage is cosmetic but will cost in the neighborhood of $1500 to $2000. Several deep gouges and slight dents. My car has a red color tint coat red paint which is premium cost.

It seemed logical to me that my "comprehensive insurance" would cover this type of accident! But, it was called a "collision claim" by the SF underwriter. That seemed strange to me and others who I queried. SF controls the definitions which are not easy to find. They profit handsomely from this definition for several reasons:
1.) My comprehensive deductible is $100 and my collision deductible is $500.
2.) I believe that this will affect my spotless driving record and could lead to rate increases in the future.

3.) My agent said he researched this and claims that is the industry standard. He declined to speak with me in person and texted his answer to me which perturbs me just a little.

Maybe the State Insurance Commissioner should 'look into 'the definitions' which can easily be biased by the bottom line! In favor of the Insurance Company.

My vehicle was hit while parked, no fault of my own, I have full coverage, State Farm forced me to accept very shoddy body work with quarter panel filled with 2 inches of Bondo, looks horrible and completely devalues my vehicle. Quarter panel should have been replaced. Car is now worth several thousand dollars less.

8/30 vehicle overheated middle of the night on 2 lane Highway, ordered Roadside service through my State Farm 24/7 Roadside service, later to find out AGERO. NEITHER THE TOW TRUCK SHOWED AND THE INCORRECT ADDRESS WAS GIVEN TO LYFT DRIVER. "Then AGERO tells me I don't even have insurance". This left me no choice but to drive my overheated Jeep home. Now I have a cracked radiator and a estimate of 2100 to fix my jeep. After filing a complaint thru my insurance agent Theresa ** I got a call after a so called investigation that yes they have issues and the issues have been sent to department heads for training. Then so generously offered a 100.00 Gift Card. Shove that Gift Card State Farm 24 7 roadside service/AGERO. I was covered by my policy and advised State Farm my home and car insurance is being moved

Filed claim with State Farm Insurance Company 6/13/2022 for an accident on 6/10/2022 involving my vehicle. The vehicle was damaged, State Farm has received a secondary supplemental claim from the body shop on 8/18/2022 totaling $16581.54 that has not been approved since that date. There has been no communication or action from State Farm, with me or body shop since 8/18/22. Due to a reduction of the original supplemental claim submitted by body shop to State Farm, with no response to my many email requests for information about my claim from State Farm, I hired an independent appraiser/collision specialist, invoking my policy appraisal clause on 8/1/2022 with State Farm. State Farm has refused to provide the name and contact information of their hired independent appraiser to me. Rental expires 9/16/22.

I want the rental vehicle extended. I want State Farm to respond to body shop in good faith to either approve the supplemental damage claim submitted 8/18/2022 immediately 8/18 OR, total loss the damaged vehicle and pay the fair market value of my vehicle immediately. This has been ongoing from 6/13/2022- 9/15/2022 without a satisfactory resolution, and in my opinion is unfair business practice.

State Farm is dangerously incompetent. They failed to properly process my case in a $1,000,000+ collision lawsuit. I was served a lawsuit initiated by the other driver in a collision. The citation required a written response within 22 days. I notified State Farm within 24 hours of receiving the citation. State Farm told me that a defense attorney would contact me by the end of the week.

After a week of radio silence, I followed up with State Farm to request urgency. They told me that my case handler was not in the office, but they gave me the phone number for the law firm that was supposed to handle my case. I contacted the law firm, and they had not received my case from State Farm. 7 out of 22 days have passed.

One week later, I still had not been contacted by State Farm or the law firm. I called State Farm again. My handler was not in the office. I called the law firm. They had still not been notified by State Farm of the lawsuit. The law firm told me, "It is good that you are following up with us. Otherwise, we wouldn't know this case existed." 14 out of 22 days have passed. Do not do business with State Farm. They are unresponsive and irresponsible. When the stakes are high, I have seen no urgency and received no communication. I regret choosing them as my insurance company.

They provide you with a low quote to get you signed up with a new policy. Then they threaten to cancel your new policy within one month or else you have to pay more than double your quoted rates if you want to keep your auto insurance. Their only excuse for the price hike and canceling of the policy is I have a poor credit score. It doesn't matter to this Company that I have zero claims, zero accidents, and no traffic violations on my record. These important factors should always outweigh credit score when it comes to risk factor calculation algorithms Completely deceptive, unfair price gouging, discrimination intentionally causing adverse effects to consumers. This company only cares about lining their corporate pockets. Insurance companies and their underwriters need to be held accountable for their dishonorable shady corruptive practices.

My experience with State Farm is negative. I obtained a quote for auto and homeowners insurance. The coverage was good and affordable so I went ahead with binding. After paying for the auto in full, they inform me that there is a $250 inspection required to bind the homeowners. They did not inform me of this prior, nor is the condition listed on the written quote provided. I told them to cancel. This is fundamentally dishonest and unethical.

To date, State Farm has not refunded my money. The agent won't answer my emails, forcing me to play phone tag. She has been rude, condescending and unprofessional. I've just taken my issues to State Farm corporate, the BBB, my bank, law enforcement, and all applicable FL insurance licensing agencies. NEVER do business with State Farm.

I switched from State Farm because I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. The rates kept going up so I canceled in February and I was supposed to get a refund. Here it is now June, every time I call no one return the call. It takes days to return an email. Once someone finally reach out they say, "The check was mailed out to you." So I said, "It doesn’t take 4 months or even 1 month for a check to get mailed to you." I sent numerous emails about this and no one seem to be working on it, now if I owed them money best believe they will call and call and probably cut the insurance off. GIVE ME THE CHECK YOU ME.

"Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there," slogan. The above statements from State Farm is far from the experience I had. My experience was "horrifying, very stressful, feeling nauseous but not throwing up" . On December 31, 2021 my Toyota Tacoma was hit on the driver side by a State Farm driver. The video camera clearly shows the accident. Driver B clearly has the right away (Me). Driver A crossed 3 lanes of highway traffic and crashed into Drive B. (State Farm driver)

After reviewing the video camera, State Farm stated IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN ADMISSION OF LIABILITY and refused to pay for the damage (see video). Some "State Farm associate members" told me (on the phone) that the video camera totally support Driver B, but the decision was out of their hands. I know all phone calls are recorded, hopefully, the recorded phone calls explanation from some "State Farm associate members" will throws light on their behavior.

"Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there," applies to the folks that have State Farm Ins. (Everyone else contact your own insurance company). I read several stories like minds regarding State Farm not accepting liability for accidents. This type of unjustifiable, trickster and fraud behavior from State Farm needs to be exposed." It must STOP. While dealing with State Farm, they appeared to me as unconcerned, detached; they was not friendly toward me, but arrogant. Note: Geico (my insurance) was appalled and stunned regarding State Farm not accepting liability for the accident.
