I had a very good experience with Progressive. They made claim very easy, immediately after my accident. I would recommend this auto insurance company to anyone I know. They have very good agents with great customer service.

I was satisfied, but sometimes they sent my payment in 2 days late and then tried to charge me late fee when it was their fault, but when it come to claims they were right there to help and settle in no time at all. Their rates are low and can direct withdrawal from bank or pay it online, so I am ok with mine but it just satisfactory.

Within the last year I changed to Progressive insurance and I got lower rates with even more coverage for my car. My previous insurance company had me paying two times the amount that I pay now. Switching was easy. I got quotes and I was able to do everything over the internet and print out my insurance cards. I have my payments automatically withdrawn from my account which makes it even more simple. I am very glad I decided to change over to Progressive.

I've had Progressive for 4 years and I've only had to file a claim once. They responded quick, and got me set up with what I needed. Their premiums are a good price even though I'm still financing. All in all: good customer service, good price.

I'm very satisfied with my insurance company. Only problem I've had is with the rate change since moving to Florida almost doubled my auto insurance rate. If you're moving make sure to check your insurance rates before moving.

I had a great experience with this company. Back in 2010 I was able to purchase my first vehicle and knew very little about auto insurance. Progressive made every little transition easy and was always available with friendly customer service representatives if I had a question. I have recommended this company to all of my friends and coworkers.

I have not used this to make a claim so I don't know how it is for that. It is affordable, however though my insurance company I can't bundle my home and I dislike that. I also have my boat through them and it seems reasonable. I would like to have everything together though.

Progressive was great at first. Inexpensive, immediate service, helpful website. I always have full coverage and comprehensive insurance (which in my opinion should all be covered under "Full Coverage"). I live in a bad part of town and a popular crime here is syphoning gasoline, along with theft. My truck was keyed and scratched from nose to tail. It had squiggles, letters, and intentional damage.
When I filed a claim, they treated me as if I was making the whole thing up and told me that it was wear and tear. Would only cover a scratch on the tailgate. The claims handlers became rude, stubborn, and not listening to anything that you had to say. Even when they spoke to the auto body man that had just repaired and painted it two years beforehand. Needless to say my vehicle was not fixed and I have to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket. In addition to my rate increasing.

I love Progressive. Unfortunately you never want to use your auto insurance. However I have been lucky enough to have had to use them twice due to no fault accidents. It was easy and seamless. I felt like from the 1st step to the final step they were right there ensuring that I was informed. I love Progressive.

I have used Progressive Auto Insurance for several years now. I have the basic coverage with the roadside assistance add on. Luckily I have not had too many instances where I have had to utilize the coverage until recently. About a month ago my van needed some repairs. Unaware that the workers had affected my fuel gauge I took off on a long road trip. My gas gauge read as "full" yet was close to empty. Literally on the freeway my vehicle slows and I pull over to a stop. I immediately called the Progressive Roadside assistance phone number and they were incredibly helpful. The Progressive representative within minutes had contacted the nearest towing company and even called back to check on the progress. Things were handled in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the service. I will continue being a loyal member to Progressive.

It costs more than I would like to have to pay. Progressive sent me a snapshot device to try to help lower my cost. My agent is pleasant and thoroughly explains everything to me. Progressive was very quick and fair several years ago when my car was totaled. I received the money for it within a week.

It was easy to start my Progressive Insurance, only took a few minutes by phone. It was also easy to add and subtract also new vehicle I had gotten and then ended up returning to the dealership (due to problems with the vehicle). The associates I communicated with were polite and helpful. The app is also a nice resource.

Our vehicle was hit in a parking lot and we did not know who did this, but the insurance company asked a few questions, sent us to have the truck looked at by an adjuster that was close to home and then gave us a check to fix it and did not raise our rates.

I am very happy with our car insurance. I feel like it is very well priced and provides a wide range of coverage. It's hard to fully recommend it since we have never had an accident, so I don't have any experience as far as that is concerned.

It was extremely easy to get Progressive Insurance. We have had no problems with this insurance. We have a high insurance because of my age compared to my husband's. We just recently received a lower rate after using Snapshot. It's a great service and very fair.

They're always extremely helpful and willing to answer my questions. They were the cheapest option for me when I started looking. They have some amazing discounts too. Luckily I haven't had to put in a claim yet, but I don't expect to have an issue if it ever comes up.

I have been a customer with Progressive since 2008. I have received nothing but outstanding customer service. I take advantage of their many discounts including multi-car, multi-policy, and safe driver. I feel like with my insurance, Progressive fits my family's needs. I have no reason to change insurance companies at all.

I had a policy for just myself with one car and added my daughter when she got her permit in July 2015. My monthly premium was $116 and they assured me that my rates would not change until she got her actual license. Forward to October when the policy renewed. They sent me a bill for $225. I paid it without question, thinking it was more because it was the first installment of the new policy. (Yes, they did send me out the new policy, which I should have read more thoroughly and seen the change right away.)
Then November's bill comes for $215, so I call them. Apparently, they are now charging me for her as a LICENSED driver because she is now over 19. (They did this rate change in October, even though she didn't turn 19 until November 5th.) So they expected me to pay for a licensed driver for FOUR months when she wasn't, simply because of her age change at some time during the six month policy, even though she doesn't get her license until January. They refused to fix the rates or reimburse me for paying over $100 extra for a licensed driver in October that didn't exist, so I told them to cancel the policy. Geico gave me a lower rate AND didn't charge me for my daughter with only a permit, regardless of her age.

Progressive Insurance should be ashamed that it trains it's Claim Agents to make decisions on claims before all details are received like the police report. The claim agent I spoke to took my statement and then changed everything I said to fit his decision even completely turning around my words. He made up his mind on the verdict of the claim before he even spoke to me and then wouldn't listen to any further explanation. He even said that the police report doesn't determine cause and the fact that the other driver claimed fault doesn't determine the cause. He was able to make that determination by sitting in a cubicle. So many positive reviews address the cost but most of the policy holders haven't filed a claim. I'm very disappointed in Progressive's claim policy and will never recommend them to anyone.

They offer a discount for direct debit for payment. If for some reason the funds aren't there they try later and don't cancel the policy or charge more. They are easy to contact and my rate has gone down due to years of being a customer.

Very easy to deal with if you have a claim. Never had an issue and easy payments if needed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for auto insurance. Adjusters are nice and do follow through on their contact with you if you have a claim.

On October 31, 2015, I was hit by someone making an unprotected left turn. The light was green for me, and he was waiting to make a left. As soon as I entered the intersection, he turned, hitting me and two other cars. The airbag on my steering wheel deployed, and my car was undrivable. I couldn't even shift to park, and I had to let the car idle. My car is a 2016 Honda Accord with approximately 755 miles and only 5 weeks old.
A police officer came right away and collected everyone's insurance information and driver's licenses. The driver who hit everyone, whose initials are AF, seemed agitated, and once he got on the curb with everyone else, began speaking to a bystander in English, and once he spotted me, he switched over to Spanish. From what I could make out, he was trying to tell witnesses, as well as the driver of one of the vehicles he hit, that I was driving too fast and it was my fault.
I called my insurance company to notify them right way. I never got to exchange insurance information with AF because the police officer took so long to give our documents back, I didn't know whether AF had left. An hour later, I called my insurance company, Progressive, and they pressured me to decide right then whether to file through them or file through AF's insurance company, and kept saying the decision was permanent. I was still in shock, and since my car was sitting in a tow yard in Plano, I wanted to move forward asap. The other insurance company was also closed until Monday anyway. So, I filed a claim through my insurance company.
At some point, Progressive received the accident report and determined liability to lie 100% with AF. But my claims adjustor went on vacation the day liability was determined, Wednesday, and I didn't even know until I called Progressive on Saturday, but I will discuss that phone conversation later. I was told that same week that because of the extensive damage on my vehicle, it would undergo a total loss evaluation. The damages were at 60% of the ACV. On Friday, I was told that they were $7,000 short of totaling out my vehicle, and my repair rep had given the body shop the go ahead to start dismantling my car to examine whether there was additional damage.
Saturday, I called to ask for the status of liability and to get information about the valuation of my car. I was told liability was determined on Wednesday, and they transferred me to the total loss department for the valuation. Well, once I got on the phone with someone at the total loss department, she said she would email me the valuation report (she never did), then she went on and on about how I needed to find God, how I needed to pray, how grateful I should be that I wasn't injured, and how grateful I am that I can just go out and buy a new car. (1) For anyone involved in a car accident, you want a personal injury claim because that's where you can profit; (2) I am not religious and I am offended by any lectures on religion; and (3) I told her I was trying to buy a new car but Progressive wouldn't let me, and she was speechless for once. I was so frustrated, I started crying on the phone, and she said she would pray for me.
I called Progressive on Monday to ask whether my claims adjustor had made any attempt to reach out to the other insurance company. Since she was on vacation, I spoke to her supervisor who said they had not, and had me hold while she attempted to call them on the other line. She was unsuccessful after 30 minutes, and said she would try again the next day. Unsatisfied with that, I spent 2 hours trying to get ahold of someone. I finally did, and I was able to file a claim. I then forwarded that information to my claims adjustor's supervisor, who said she would follow-up the next day. I tried calling the woman assigned as my claims adjustor ("CB"), but her line went straight to voicemail the entire day despite her message stating that her regular working hours were 7:30 - 5 PM PT Monday - Friday.
I called CB Tuesday and finally got ahold of her, then forwarded that information to my claims adjustor's supervisor. When I called Thursday to complain about the delay in moving this claim forward, my claims adjustor's supervisor called to apologize and say that they were attempting to find the fax number for the other insurance company, so they could fax the accident report. I checked today, and they finally faxed it at 4:30 PM on Friday.
That isn't my biggest grief. A part of my biggest grief is the fact that they wanted me to take my car to their network shop. But they refused to tell me the name or address of the shop. They just wanted me to trust them blindly. I said no because my car is so new, and I chose a Honda certified body shop. Well, now, I don't get a warranty for the work besides the one given by the shop (lifetime for paint and body, no warranty for anything else). The problem is that there are a lot of safety features that need to be replaced (lane detection, steering, braking, etc. ), so I don't care about the paint and body. That's not my biggest problem. And I would have felt more comfortable using their network shop if I could research the place first, but they wouldn't reveal that information, so I didn't feel right having my car towed to some shop I knew nothing about. I also worried about voiding my warranty.
What I am most upset about is that they won't total out the car. There is over $18,00 worth of damage. That was calculated based on the cost of repairing the vehicle, the towing charges, and the 30 day rental charges Progressive is paying. However, that number does not account for diminished value or the additional 14-30 days I'll be paying for a rental out-of-pocket because the repair estimate is 6-8 weeks. I had already delayed getting a rental for 10 days, but they didn't give the body shop the go ahead to repair the car until 24 hours after I picked up the rental.
They kept saying they don't ever have to pay diminished value, so they don't include that in the damages. But in reality, if AF had been an underinsured or uninsured motorist, I would most definitely have a claim for that against Progressive. So, that's wrong, and a misrepresentation of my insurance policy. It is also most definitely a part of calculating damages because if you are repairing my vehicle to its pre-accident condition, then its diminished value and all rental fees incurred as a result of the accident are an essential part of making me whole again. They also tried to use remanufactured 2015 parts on my brand new 2016 car, and claimed the salvage value of my car was $5,000. If the car is worth less than 18% of its ACV after this accident, how can you seriously tell me the car can be restored to its pre-accident condition?
The customer service has been good and bad. The religious lady was bad. But I did speak to two other agents who were nice. I spoke to a gentleman today who was arguing with me that liability hadn't been determined yet, telling me if I could go back in time, I should've chosen a network body shop, and being condescending when I know what's been happening in my case and he doesn't. (1) Liability was determined two weeks ago and says that on my claims page and (2) if I could go back in time, I would do a lot of things differently, such as get a different insurance provider, so let's not get into that.

Lower priced, convenient, good services, good customer service. Never had any issues with getting documents. They have always been attentive to my auto needs. I have never had an accident or filed a claim, but they have always been there when purchasing new vehicles or adding other things onto a multi-policy such as homeowners, RV or boat insurance.

Progressive has been a great insurance company so far. I've never had to file a claim so I don't know what that process is like but their rates have been good up to this point. The snapshot discount thing is a bit of a nuisance but it's worth it in the end since it can't hurt your rate, only make it better. I highly recommend looking into this company for car insurance.

There are tons of discounts that help out. I have had Progressive over 6 years and I have never had to make a claim. But if I ever did I'm sure they would be great. They have snap shot that monitors your driving for a discount. Also Flo is pretty sweet.

Progressive has always been our car insurance company for many years. Although I had a temporary lapse in judgement and switched to another company about four years ago, I went back to Progressive after my car insurance was raised without incidents. I will forever be a loyal customer to them. My insurance now actually goes down each year and we are very happy to say Progressive is our insurance provider!

I had a good experience with Progressive as their rates were quite competitive in comparison to other insurance companies. I wish I had known underinsured / uninsured motorists coverage was sold separate from one another. I got into an accident (not my fault) and the person was underinsured, information I am glad to have now but wish I had then. Other than that, I think it's a good insurance company based on my experience with them. I would insure another vehicle with them in the future when I need insurance and the price is competitive with other insurance companies. I will refer my friends and family to them in the future if they are looking for a good insurance company that has competitive rates.

I have had them for years and always hoped when needed they would be fine. Recently we had an accident, where a driver went off the road and hit our car as we pulled out of the driveway. I had the smoothest experience, it was easy and painless. It firmly cemented that we would keep them for years to come, as they are incredible to work with even in the times of crises.

Low price, will give extended time if you can't make the payment on due date, process claims in a timely manner, always have courteous customer service. Always remind you of due date for renewal. Offer to do payments by drafting out of checking account and this lowers your premium. Never had a problem with Progressive and would recommend them.

I've never had an accident so I've never had to use it but the rates are reasonable and I've been able to adjust my coverage very easily. I also bundle with their renters insurance and I like having that option. The app is convenient as well but having no incidents on the road, I can't speak to how well they respond to needs there.

I had switched from Geico (horrible experience) and also signed my then fiancé (now husband) up. We have had no issues for the past three years. Progressive is a great insurance company because of their rates. The bundling option can be great for those who are homeowners or have more than one vehicle. The discounts they provide are really top notch. Starting with direct debit, you receive a huge discount for going paperless, and you never have to worry about your bill being late... Unless you don't have the available funds lol. The snap shot discount is great because you get the initial discount for signing up to be used and then every three months, you can qualify for more discounts, depending how safe of a driver you are.
The customer service is awesome anytime you have any questions you have about your policy. A live adviser is always professional and courteous. Signing up online is a breeze, literally a child could get a policy from the user friendly interface of the website. Overall I would recommend progressive to anyone that wants a quality policy without breaking the bank for a service that by law is needed and enforced often.

Progressive has many discount programs. The snapshot program is great. They give you the opportunity to pay once a month, or in a one lump sum. If you choose to do the one lump sum, you'll get another discount. I'd recommend them because they are easy to deal with.

I was able to get insurance online, and when it came time to switch over to my new car I had just purchased, I just gave them a call at the dealership and it was switched over without even increasing my premium, and in a matter of moments!! And, since I'm participating in the snapshot program, my monthly payments went down!!

As a person who has to file a SR22, their rate was very reasonable. Their website was very user friendly and the amount of technology was appealing to me. I could use it on my phone and I appreciated being able to chat with someone online instead of having to call. I also like the tool they used that you could plug into your car that monitored your driving so you could possibly save more money if you were a good driver. After just a few short months I was able to save an additional $30. I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Progressive has been pretty good. I was rear ended this month and the claims reps were absolutely wonderful. I was able to drop my car off at a Progressive service center, pick up a rental, and pick up my car from the service center within a week and a half. My car was back to its original state, and the staff there was amazing. I would recommend to all of my friends and family.

I have been with Progressive for 3 years now. I love the ease of accessing my information using the app. They also offer an electronic insurance ID. I like that you get incentives the longer you stay with them. I sign up for auto withdrawals so paying my bill is hassle free!

Saved about $300 or so when we first switched. Have been with co. going on 3 yrs and have not compared rates recently. Have only had glass claims so far. Really like being able to do most transactions online. Would prefer to have a 2 payment option for premium but that is not offered.

My husband was rear ended by a person insured by Progressive and they have not been responsible for the accident of their client. It's been almost 2 weeks without his vehicle being inspected to see if it is totaled. The contact has been little at best. He was hurt and is unable to work due to his injury and no vehicle to even go to doctors appointments. It's not like she wasn't insured she is with them. We have hired an attorney and having our own insurance to see what they can do. My husband is self employed so his income is gone until he is able to go back to work. At this point I see their commercial as a joke and a line of BS. The stress, pain and suffering this is causing my husband and our family can't be explained enough. I never thought being on this side of an accident could be this way. The lady that hit him her car has already been evaluated but his is still sitting.

I have been a Progressive customer for almost a year now. They are the easiest company I have found to work with and also have the lowest rates. I was the victim of a hit-and-run a few months ago and they handled it so well. All of the reps I spoke to asked me about my well being, making sure that I was not injured. They all seemed genuinely interested and concerned. The claims process was very easy, and my rep went through each step of the process. I also received a discount on my insurance rates after my first 6 month term was over. The Snapshot program helped me to save even more. I don't drive late at night, and because of this I was able to get another 11% off my premium, with the chance to save even more as I keep the device plugged in. I would recommend that everyone take the time to at least get a quote with Progressive.

Progressive seems to be classified as an insurance company with excellent rates. Although, these words may have sounded to be true, you would have had to become an actual policyholder to see how true this statement of excellency is honest. My policy is very expensive I am being charged very high rates, and claims have been denied. My adjusters have not listened very well to me neither have they been compassionate about my physical ailments or needs after the accident. My stress level is high up. Seems to me that they're being very dogmatic towards me. I need assistance.

They have been very helpful. I have had insurance with them for over 5 years and as I was looking into purchasing a used vehicle. I called the insurance company. The gentleman on the other end was very helpful. He stepped me through the process of adding another vehicle and also gave me prices on the few cars I was interested in before I had even made my decision and had also faxed over my insurance verification before we had finished my paperwork. I would recommend this company to anyone looking. I haven't had any problems with them since they've been my insurance company.

I was hit by a man that had Progressive Insurance and had the worst experience. First, they took almost two whole weeks to claim liability when the man that hit me told them that it was his fault. Second, they have the worst customer service. No one ever calls you back and you can never get to talk to them until weeks after you called the first time. Then when you get to talk to them they are very rude and unpleasant to talk to. They also don't communicate well, one person tells you one thing then someone else tells you something else. I will never get their insurance and wouldn't recommend this insurance to anyone.

I needed to have my windshield replaced earlier this year and had an appointment scheduled for Safelite to come and install a new one. Two days before the appointment a polar vortex was headed to this area. The repair was going to have to be done outside and because of the cold it was cancelled. I never rescheduled and a few months later a representative from Progressive called me to see if I had. I was told that they would take care of it when I decided to reschedule. It's no better or worse than any other insurance company that I've seen. I don't interact with insurance companies very often, and don't like being forced to buy something I only use once in a blue moon - actually, blue moons happen far more often than I am ever in any situation that brings car insurance into play, and even in those situations I probably could have survived without it. Just like all the others, all they do is spend money telling everyone how much money they can save by switching so I've become numb to all those ads and it gives me no satisfaction because my rates are naturally low given how old my car is and where I tend to live. I'd prefer insurance with better services but I don't know where to look or if it would be worth the cost of leaving after sticking with this one for over a decade. Oh well.

Very competitive rates for the State of Michigan. I used the progressive snapshot program and was pleased to receive a 12% discount for using the program. Though they do jack up your rate on your second renewal, they are as affordable as another company I received quotes from. The customer service here is fine. My car was totaled by a Progressive driver, who admittedly had not slept in 3 days, had vision problems and was driving on a suspended license with knowledge. This Progressive customer was arrested on scene and has been convicted of the offenses. Progressive refuses to settle the claim for myself and for my daughter who was in the car with me - and the amount they wish to settle for doesn't even cover our outstanding medical bills. Beware Progressive customers whose rates continue to rise because not only are you paying for Flo to be on TV but you are paying for drivers like this person who should not even be on the road.

I switched from Nationwide to Progressive in July 2014 and I have been very happy with the switch. We saved about $40 a month by switching and in doing so we also acquired roadside assistance and unfortunately we have had to use it 6 times in the past year. However every time has been a pleasant experience. They always have a tow truck sent to us within 30 mins to an hour and the whole process of obtaining your roadside assistance is quick and easy. They even have an app for your phone and you can do it all right on there. Overall this has been a great move for us.

Before we even made one payment on our car, my husband was rear-ended by a Progressive Insurance customer. In order to get our car appraised my husband had to take our car to Progressive. Which is a first for us, typically the appraiser comes to you. Progressive gave us the estimate and suggested using their facility for repairs. We've had bad experiences in the past when we have used those suggested places. We chose to use our dealership for repairs. Our car is a 2014 and I don't feel it is right for them to be able to use "used/refurbished" parts on a car that is not even two years old. But that is only half the problem. After dropping the car to get repairs the next place is to pick up the rental car. The car which we received was not even close to what we drive.
Now, we weren't expecting all the options our car has (Malibu LTZ), but we were expecting the size. After all, don't most people choose the size of their vehicles based on the space they need? The rental place informs us that Progressive does not allow any "upgrades". They pay the minimum and that is it. Really? In all the years and numerous times we have needed a rental car (due to no fault of our own any of those time) and we have needed 5 this year alone, we have NEVER been told by any insurance company that we could not have the equivalent to our own car. We didn't ask to be rear-ended! It was their customer who was at fault. We are being inconvenienced by them, not the other way around.
We don't pay premiums to Progressive (thankfully). We don't have a signed contract with them either. How is this possible that someone else insurance company can bully an innocent victim? Maybe the CEO needs a new vacation home. I can't say. But as consumers, I feel that these insurance companies make billions by taking advantage of those who are in the right and it needs to stop.

Progressive has been my carrier for about 15 years. I have had to make claims several times. They were helpful as in providing a rental when needed, having an adjuster available promptly, getting me a check within 2 or 3 days and fighting for me when I was involved in an accident with an uninsured driver and again when I was involved in an accident where the other driver was at fault and their insurance provider tried to sue me. I've been overall never dissatisfied at all over the 15 years. I feel like my rates were slightly higher than I thought was fair but this is a case clearly you get what you pay for and I'd say they have been worth their weight in gold.

It was also difficult to see who in my house was covered under the insurance policy. No cards are sent in the mail so I have to print them if I want them. I had my vehicle parked at my residence while I was not staying there and it was involved in a hit and run type of accident. I chose to change my policy a week or so before (also, while I was not home) because I was about to make the vehicle parked my primary vehicle and wanted the best coverage possible on it (something I assumed I got from Progressive). I came home to a damaged vehicle and felt no need to contact the police (I've been in 1 other similar incident when I had State Farm and had ZERO issues.)
LINDSAY from Bridgeport decided to flag my claim. I was scheduled on a Monday to drop my car off and pick up my rental but they still wanted a police report (which I planned to go file since they NEEDED it). I get to the rental car company and SURPRISE they canceled billing of my rental car! I called to let my "adjuster" know I had filed a police report and they assured me they would take over billing as soon as they got the report (and are now saying they never said that). They went out and did an estimate on my vehicle and told the shop to tear my car down and begin repairs and THEN chose to freeze the work on it.
So not only am I stuck with a huge rental car bill, I can't even pick my own (what was driveable) vehicle back up. The attitudes of "supervisors" and "adjusters" with this company are disgusting and cruel. They keep trying to tell me they aren't "attacking" me but they want phone records and bank statements saying I wasn't around when it happened.
If I had PLANNED for my car to be hit while I wasn't home, is have made sure to use my credit card (hahahah). Do yourself a favor and NEVER use Progressive for insurance and definitely don't use their Bridgeport WV adjuster. I don't even feel like I'm insured. Aren't they there to protect me against me things like this? I now also, have to pay for a lawyer to continue fighting this and get my car back.

Extremely bureaucratic and slow. I needed roadside assistance in LA. They charged in advance for a service that never arrived. After 4 hours of waiting they said I had to keep waiting. Finally I called a local small business and paid again. After that they said it was impossible to reimburse the 56 dollars, that "the system didn't have that option".

Wonderful customer service! Great discounts. Love that they give the opportunity to get discounts with the snapshot, bundles and more. My husband and I needed cheap insurance and we talked about lots of different insurance companies and we decided on Progressive. We were able to bundle our renters/motorcycle and car insurance all in one and that was a plus for us! They have wonderful customer service! Very happy people working here so that makes us very happy customers.

Progressive offers substantial coverage for a decent price. They're fairly honest and open about other companies' rates in comparison with their own. I've been with them for years now and I don't see myself changing soon.

They are fine. Easy to obtain and easy payments. Payments are not ridiculously high. I enjoy the fact that there is an app that helps make the process easier to file claims and make payments. Customer service agents are friendly.

In any and all dealings I've had with Progressive they have always been friendly and helpful. The adjuster has been fair with the repairs and I've been able to use my own body shop choice. I would recommend them to a friend.

My auto insurance company is Progressive and overall, I am very happy with them. I have been with Progressive for almost 11 years. In my case, they have the lowest rate including their Snapshot discount. Saving money on car insurance is important to me but so is peace of mind. Based on my experience so far, I feel confident that in the case of an accident, I can count on Progressive to settle my claim quickly and fairly.

My insurance company is amazing. Never have any problems with them and they are very professional. The rates they offer are reasonable and very affordable. When an accident occurred they were helpful in getting everything handled in a timely fashion.

The rates are always fair and reaching them after an accident is easy. One thing I like best is the customer service provider speaks clearly and is trained to execute the call quickly and efficiently. I've had three other car insurance providers in the past and they were not as reliable as Progressive.

They have been very good. Any time they have a claim they are on it quickly. They answer any questions I have. The agents are very nice. There is no wait time when you call. They work with you on your monthly payment. I like having automatic payments, makes it easier. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that when you have automatic draft it takes three to four days to show up on your bank account.

Progressive has constantly increased my monthly premium for no reason and can offer zero explanation as to why it happened. Finally it has gotten to the point where I can no longer afford this auto insurance. Progressive charging a 24 year old female with no points, tickets, or accidents on her driving record $400+ a month for one vehicle is insane. They don't have the best customer service but it's not the worst out there. The only major complaint I have is with how much they charge me and the fact they cannot tell me why. I definitely do not recommend them at all.

The premiums and payment schedules are very reasonable. Adding a second car to our household was very easy and well within our budget. Flexible payment dates were great on months we were tight on money. Thank God, we haven't had to make a claim, so we can't rate the claim experience.

I have had progressive for 5 years at least now. I have had them through 3 different states I have resided in. They have never let me get above the gold membership even though I have been, and now after I have returned from moving to Germany, and I have had to start my life over again, will not allow me to keep my 26% snapshot discount I had for 3 years, or allow me to get any discount on my premium. I am an Veteran, and I have switched to USAA who treats me with much more respect. I am done with Progressive, after they refused to help in any way.

Progressive is a company that I recommend because they have very compatible quotes and consistent and caring. They understand your situations and needs. I give them a 5 star! The billing statements are simple and easy to understand what is covered at what rate. They provide all the phone numbers and contacts that you will need for assistance.

After comparing prices and amount of coverage I received a much better deal with progressive. I have never had a problem nor have I ever filed a claim but so far so good. I got better than average coverage for a much better price. It pays to shop around.

Always helpful. Great overall discounts for driver record etc. Nice people. In addition they give you rates of other companies and they do multiple bundle packets which lower cost. This is always a plus in my book.

My insurance is a cheaper rate and great coverage. I have an excellent agent who is always there to answer my questions and help me with my policy. Progressive customer service is always friendly and helpful. I haven't had an accident in many many years (thankfully) but know they would be helpful if needed.

Progressive was very helpful to me when I was rear-ended and again when I was hit by a driver who took off. Both times, they took care of everything, but the police report and my car was repaired quickly. I had a rental in the meantime. No rate increase since I was not at fault.

I found Progressive to be very responsive. The adjuster came to my work to assess damage and cut me a check on the spot. He was very friendly and professional. He did not take up much of my time at all. Great rates too.

My experience with Progressive is great. I had brought a new car for my birthday last October, and wanted to get insurance. I first thought of Progressive because of the famous commercial. I looked up the company online and liked what I read. You get a free online quote. They offer lots of different coverage and many auto-insurance discounts. You could save up to hundreds of dollars if you quote right away. It feels like you get a discount for everything you do. It's great. If you combine insurances, you get a 10% discount there. What I love the most is the guaranteed repairs. You take your car to a Progressive store and while they take care of your car, you get a rental. As long as you own your insured car, you can get it repaired for as long as you want. They have great customer service, the agents are very nice and helpful. I recommend Progressive to anyone that wants to save money on car insurance.

They are very good at what they do. If you have any trouble with your car in an accident they are very helpful. Progressive checks your car for damage. They will ask for details on the car, so they can type them in the computer.

I recently began using Progressive. I am much more happier with their pricing than my previous insurance company. I have not had to utilize my new auto insurance yet, but I'm glad that they offer discounted towing and car rentals.

I been a progressive customer since 2012. I recently (6 months maybe) bought a new car and insured it with them. I have never had an accident in my life and on October 31, 2015 I was unfortunately in my first which was a not at fail collision so I had to call them. The guy I spoke to was not even concern with the fact that I was still out on the freeway. He actually ask me if I was in a safe place then before I could answer he kinda laugh and said, "You still on the freeway I can hear the cars never mind." Then he continue to ask me about my passengers info - I mean name, phone number, address before he call me a towing truck or anything. This was by far the worse of nightmares. I explained to him that I had never been in an accident and that I didn't know how it all worked - he basically told me he would give me a claim number and they would call me on Monday. Awful!!!
I had to ask the cop in the scene to call me a towing car 'cause my insurance guy didn't even bother to do so - He even told me it would be quicker if the cop did it for me - Seriously??? Even better, Monday came and no one called me about my car except someone who wanted to know my address in Casa Grande - EXCEPT - I live in Tucson WTH!!! Then Theresa ** call me to let me know all the bs they gotta tell you. Every time I asked her to explain in depth what she said he kept breathing hard and I felt like she was bother by me asking. I even went as far as to apologize to her for being so annoying and asking so much but again I went ahead and explain that I didn't know how to handle it because this was my first accident EVER. Anyways another problem I had, whoever insured me didn't put my rental on there and I was totally in the understanding that I had rental.
Well it's not going to be a whole week and they are still investigating why this is not on there!?? AGAIN- SERIOUSLY??? Please if you want to be with a trusted company that has your back whenever you are in an accident DO NOT GET PROGRESSIVE - Worse experience and worse customer service. My car was a total lost and now I have no rental, no car and I ended up with a bill of 3,200.00. What a freaking mess. This is absolutely an unreliable company, very shady and on top they get mad if you ask questions, call them multiple times because they don't call you back at a timely manner and worse of all they do not care for you, your needs or the fact that you have been a loyal customer with them for years!!! PROGRESSIVE IS THE WORSE.

I have been moderately happy with Progressive. Fortunately I have not had to use it much, but when I did, they did not raise my rates and the service was fast and good. My only concern with them is that I feel that for as long as I have been with them and as long as I have gone without an accident, my rate is still pretty high. Also, do not go the agent route. You pay extra for the Progressive Go with the agent instead of Progressive Direct and the agent cannot help you any. Everything has to be called in by you to the same call center whether you have an agent or not. My agent actually moved and never told me, which is why I no longer have an agent. If you are a good driver, use Snapshot. It will reduce your rate a little bit.

My car was totaled by a driver insured by Progressive. Progressive made every attempt possible to avoid paying what my car was worth. Terrible customer skills. They kept telling me to file a claim with my insurance carrier when the accident was completely their fault. Claims adjuster threatened to stop paying for storage fees and take my car. Get an attorney if you are unfortunate enough to deal with them. Insurance is just a promise until you have a claim. If you read the THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS online and still decide to insure yourself with these ** you deserve what you get.

It was easy to get an online quote. I liked how it gave me different options and different prices for what I wanted. They were also lower than other insurance companies. I pay 44.00 a month while most were quoting me up to 70.00. I love this company!

Very helpful when I call, fast and easy claim process. I have a low rate and when my rate rises it's easy to call to understand why and what I can do to lower it. I don't know what I can say. I am happy. Looked around after a couple years to see if I can get a lower rate but not other companies cost more with worst coverage. Also rolled renters insurance. I pay more the most but it did lower my car insurance for having it.

I contact the claim adjuster name: Naiden **, but she never return phone call and try not to fix my damaged vehicle. I also found out that the person who hit my vehicle's dad is Progressive agent. Is very suspicious going on here. This kind lazy person should not work for Progressive insurance. Company make look bad!

Last month I spoke with representative and she asked if I wanted to renew my policy. I said I was not happy with the undress on my policy and I was going to shop around and not to renew my policy. If I was going to continue I would call. Well they took the money out of $49.00 and caused an overdraft fee of $30. I am on disability.
They said they listened to my call and determined it was not their fault and was THEN told the only way to cancel a policy is through the agency I had it with. I asked then why did a representative ask if I was going to renew my policy if this was done through the agency? They did not tell me that I could only cancel through the agency but yet this is my fault? No. You need to cover with the customer what is needed to cancel a policy. They are only refunding me $36.00. That is not right or fair because they were at fault for not telling me that was the only way to cancel. So I am penalized for their fault of not telling me what I needed to do to cancel. Bad business Progressive. You should always tell your customer if they say they are shopping around what the procedure is if cancelling. When I'm driving again I will NOT go with Progressive.

I called customer service to check the amount I needed to pay to renew my policy. They gave me the balance and told me to pay it and that my policy was going to renew. I did the payment the next day and was told that I needed to pay $400 more on top of the $710 I had paid. That wasn't what I was told the day before but of course no one wants to help even when the information was right on the portal. Progressive is not loyal to their customers. They are a ripoff.

Progressive agents have always been ready to answer my questions & offer advice when asked. The times that I've needed them because of a crash/fender bender, they have been polite and sympathetic. And never condescending or placed blame. Prices are fair and their billing system is easily understood.

Been a customer with Progressive for 12 years. Never made a claim, and always paid the full 6-month period every time on time. I got into a situation where my car was keyed in a parking lot and due to my hectic schedule I missed my only missed payment ever and lapsed for about 2 weeks. Unfortunately this was during the incident and because of this Progressive denies my claim. What about customer loyalty? They can't throw me a bone? I feel as though they could easily cover this but choose not to. I will be shopping for better rates and service with another company if they don't help me.

I do most of my business on their website which is easy and I have them take my payment of the insurance out of my checking which is pretty easy too. Have no complaints.

The price is great. The customer service is prompt and courteous. Their website is easy to use. I've never had any problems, but I have never filed a claim. It was easy to add my son when he started driving and they have provided ways to save additional money as a customer.

My rates are low, and decrease every 6 months. I have roadside assistance for a few extra dollars a month. I have used it on a couple occasions (locked keys in car, flat tire), and received timely service from Progressive and the local service provider.

They have great customer service! 6 months ago I was in a wreck and it only took the 1 day to come out to my house to see my damages and take pictures and make and claim! They also are sure my medical bills were taken care of by the person who hit me. I would recommend this auto insurance to anyone because of their customer service and great low prices!

My experience with Progressive Insurance has been overall good. I bought my policy on the internet which was very convenient for me. I can also pay my bill, review my policy, make changes and get new quotes through their website. The one thing I haven't been happy with is the price. It is hard to afford to have two cars and a motorcycle insured. I wish our bill could be cheaper but that's what everyone says about every bill right. So overall it's not too expensive and the company is easy to work with. I have been told to shop around for insurance at least every couple years, so I will be checking with other companies to see what's out there. But with past experience Progressive has been the cheapest or close second for prices. Customer service I'd give them a 8 out of 10.

I was in an accident with a Progressive customer. He claimed responsibility. I have been to the Progressive Service Center to get a quote on repairs at Progressive's request. Since then, no one has returned my calls. After several unreturned calls to the claims agent, I placed a called to her supervisor and still have not been called by the agent or the supervisor.

I recently switched back to Progressive. I used them in the past but I found a better rate with GEICO. I had them for many years but my rate kept going up. So I shopped around again and ended up back with Progressive. I've never had to make a claim, but their rates are competitive and customer service is great.

In 2012, my vehicle was actually stolen from a grocery store parking lot! How unreal, Progressive customer service, as well as their full coverage policy, was an absolute life saver. Everything was explained and done efficiently and effectively. I had a rental and they were very personal in dealing with my claim. A++.

My experience with Progressive has been amazing. I used to have about 2 or 3 other insurances before I found Progressive, but I feel they did not provide me with the best coverage and best price that I needed. Of course at the time I was not married, though. I think we have had Progressive for about 6 years and have never switched or had the thought of switching. It all began a little after we were married and were involved in an accident after getting food from a sandwich shop after church. Another driver did not stop at sign and began to pull out to cross the busy street and we hit him pretty hard. We had trouble trying to resolve the situation so my husband decided to look for other insurances. And we have never been let down no matter what may have come our way.
