I have stayed with Liberty Mutual for 47 years. I have NEVER filed a claim. Still, the annual cost to insure two autos for my wife and myself goes up EVERY YEAR. This insurance company (and probably many others) only offers competitive rates to new policy holders. The only way to beat this racket is to change insurance companies every year. I shudder to think what will happen if I ever do file a claim.

Their auto insurance "quote" was merely a "suggestion." It was explained when I found out my new policy was increased twice in a 6-month period. I haven't had a ticket or an accident in over 25 years and never made a claim. I was told to sign up for their device that tracks driving to get a 30% discount. I was not told that if you accelerate by 8 mph in a 2 second time span, or if you decelerate by 8 mph within 2 seconds, you are dinged with "an event" on your tracking log. Translation, if you accelerate at a safe rate of speed on an on-ramp to an interstate, you'll be dinged and will not get the bonus. Their explanation of the program is if you "hard accelerate" or "spike the brakes" you'll be noted. I wouldn't call 8 mph in 2 seconds in either direction a "spike" or "hard". This is a very deceptive practice in my opinion.

As for the homeowner's insurance, I found out that the first salesperson who quoted my policy had added in extra square footage, upgraded double stainless oven and superior granite and tile in my kitchen, and had a completely different kind of HVAC, and siding listed. All of which forced my policy premium up by almost $400 a year from where it should have been. When I tried to contact him, he would never answer my calls or emails. When I called his manager and demanded they review the audio recording, they said they could not find a recording. Again, a very deceptive practice.

I have a friend employed by LM who says they made nearly $30,000 in bonuses last year, over and above their 6-figure salary for a middle management position. If this is true, then they need to review their salary policies and stop gouging their customers to pay for it.

I got my first car at age 18, my monthly insurance was absurdly overpriced and never went down, even after years of being accident free. I ended up having to recently take my car off the road, and they keep sending me a bill for $480 dollars for reasons I am unaware of, and absolutely cannot afford/will not pay. All they have done is take advantage of me, as well as my dad (the co-signer of my car). My credit is probably ruined and they're not willing to talk to me or compromise, as they're billing me from a collection agency.

We have Liberty Mutual for both our auto and home insurance. We moved to them because they had the best price for what we wanted, but have stayed with them because they value us and work with us no matter what the situation. The website is user-friendly and most things can be taken care of from there, from downloading insurance cards, requesting information, even adding or deleting vehicles from our policy. Anytime I have needed to speak with an actual person, they are courteous, helpful, and willing to spend as much time as needed to help. Whenever we have had to make a claim, the process has been painless and expedient.

I also do not want to pay extra so that an insurance company won't raise my rate for using my insurance. I would also like clear pricing guidelines. I also feel that insurance rates should decrease when I am a good driver.

First and foremost they have the best coverage for my family. I trust and they have come through on every occasion I needed them. Quick response, quick pay out. Though they are high in cost not to their own fault because people have scammed them so much in the state of Florida.

The only complaint might be price but I am old school - you get what you pay for. They dropped my homeowners insurance cause I had two claims in two year period, they paid them. I have my cars with them and soon as my Home policy is able to go back if I will be right with them. As stated before yes their policies might be more expensive but I am covered to the max even so much I had a car replaced under their new replacement, better replacement, no hassle and I purchased a new car with the check they sent to me within 4 days. So I am not understanding the negative.

Liberty Mutual insurance is a good company to have. When calling for quotes, I was quoted rates that were lower than for the insurance company that I had at the time. The quotes for our homestead, a second house and four vehicles. For the money I pay each month on the bundle for my houses and vehicles, I got more coverage and are paying less. The agent was very helpful, friendly and patient with answering my concerns about the difference in the price for less money and explained in detail all my questions. If I have any questions concerning my policies, I have been able to get the information immediately. The only thing I do not like is the agent is not local, I only have conversations with them on the phone. I like to have a local agent, but this insurance agency came highly recommended by a friend who has used them and also has had a claim.

They called the wrong shop to have my car released from the rental company and left me with a balance when my car was still at the shop. The service is terrible. Prior to this issue I've called the claim dept to inform them that my car is still having issues and I took the car to the nearest mechanic and was told that the problem I am having is due to an accident. Matthew confirmed over the phone that the earliest I will have an adjuster to check my car once again will be Monday then I called today to find out what happened and they are telling me that the adjuster will not be in until October 15th 2015, when I have to take my kids to school and several appointment throughout the week. Therefore, Liberty Mutual organization places a higher rate on us because 5 years ago, 2010, they stated my husband drove 1-5 miles over the speed limit?? I keep all my correspondence with Liberty as proof of stupidity! Rating us lower because of 5 years ago?? We have only lived in AZ for 3 years! Safe Driver Insurance Plan, really? So they take a date back 5 years ago when we were living in Michigan and state because of 1-5 over the speed limit we have an issue so raise the rates? Are they serious?? Really?? Therefore, this driving/log stays on your record FOREVER??

In addition, I recall Chris commending us when we had that SDIP or Right Track monitors (whatever you want to call it) on our vehicles or Right Track on the vehicles back in 08/2014 for 2 months which was a nightmare to say the least - we received a 17% discount. So let's get it right as well, shall we! I am so past the ignorance and ARROGANCE of this company! WE ARE RETIRED AND CANNOT AFFORD INCREASES! We will do whatever it takes to get rid of Liberty & that goes for our home and life insurance policy as well! Liberty Mutual Insurance delayed, deceived, and denied payment for Uninsured Motor Policy. Liberty Mutual Insurance lobby/buy the politicians that appoint the trial court judges, which in turn ALWAYS rule in favor for Liberty Mutual Insurance. The defendant hit my vehicle striking my drivers side/front with her passenger's left side/rear while making an improper lane change. The physical damages prove the defendant struck my vehicle and the defendant received and was found guilty for making an improper lane change. The evidence proved the defendant was 100% legally liable causing the accident with her negligence. I had photographs from the accident, the Police Report, and the fact the defendant was found guilty by law yet Liberty Mutual Won and had my case dismissed with prejudice.

The trial judge was appointed by the Governor and one of his biggest campaign contributors is Liberty Mutual Insurance. The Georgia Judicial system is corrupt, purchased and paid by corrupt corporations. I am legally disabled and bankrupt, because my own insurance company intentionally deceived, delayed, lied, and denied the $300,000 Uninsured Motorists Policy which they were legally contracted to pay when they took the money I paid when I purchased the policy. No one should ever have to hire an attorney to get their own insurance to honor a legal binding indisputable contract. The fact they beat me up in court and won the appeal while never even filing a response to the court of appeal is ridiculous. Liberty Mutual Insurance is the worst. A class action in Federal Court must be filed to stem the ongoing corruption. Let us work together to fight.

No one ever called me back and finally verbally told me they determined there was no diminished value. I asked for a copy of the appraisal backing up their claim. No documentation was ever provided. I filed a claim with the Georgia Insurance Commissioner's office. They accepted Liberty's claim that there was no case law and I would have to file a lawsuit against Liberty for the diminished value.

I thought I was the one but found out another friend had over $5,000 in damage and was told the same thing by Liberty. Friend had to pay $200 for an appraiser and then Liberty paid. Here is response from Liberty to Insurance Commissioner, "If insureds or claimants dispute a diminished value calculations finding by the insurance company, they can hire their own Independent Appraiser to conduct a Diminished Value appraisal... If a diminished value is submitted, it will be reviewed and addressed. AT THAT TIME WE MAY HIRE OUR OWN APPRAISER AS WELL." Basically it is my belief that they DENY EVERYONE until the plaintiff pays for an appraisal and then they respond to it.

I am a 65 yr old senior and I don't drive much and I let LM tell me about this great way to save up to 30% off my policy. It was impossible to drive where I live without rapid acceleration and hard braking and even they admitted this. They told me I got a better than average discount. The discount was at 12% week 2 and never changed even though from week 2 on I got very few accelerations (1) and 3 hard braking. When I looked at the mileage next to it, it wasn't hard braking at all. My village has a road that leads onto a highway and you cannot drive without accelerating (and that is how a driving school would teach you). We also have consecutive very fast amber lights on a 45 mph roadway. There is no way - either I brake and get hard braking or I accelerate and get rapid acceleration. THIS PROGRAM IS DANGEROUS.

I followed the rules to improve my discount and it didn't move 1%. I will happily send you the readout. I was a loyal LM customer but their Right Track program is making me shop for new house and car insurance (I'm 65, drove 279.5 miles with no night time miles and had 15 rapid accelerations and 18 hard braking in 3 months - I have never had a ticket, a point on my license or an accident). I got a 12% discount out of a possible 30%. They could not give the name of anyone who got 30% and I sincerely doubt they have anyone who got 20% unless they live out in the Midwest somewhere. This thing is creating road rage in other drivers when I drive in such a manner as to prevent the "events". By the way, I drive a 4 cyl Venza, not a big hp car. My daughter drives a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp, which I used to drive. I KNOW what that car will do and how she drives, yet NO rapid accelerations for her. These things do NOT record accurately and if you contact Customer Service, you get the "scripted" response. Not helpful at all. To "slowly" accelerate when pulling onto a highway, or from a stop sign/light, you have to coast so slowly, barely picking up speed, and drivers behind you are on your **.

Not everyone lives and drives in areas where you can see everything around you for miles. Country living, and on highways, it is dangerous to pull out as slowly as I have to prevent an event. I've only driven on back roads until I get into a midsize town (not city). I'm getting passed in unsafe places.. hills, curves, right after leaving a stop sign...because the people behind me can't stand it. I have a trip planned next month, and will have to drive on an Interstate, so I'm sure that all the "cautious" driving I'm doing to try for a better discount will be totally wiped out with that trip. I don't think I want to merge onto the interstate, trying to keep from accelerating quickly.

With the device on my car you cannot drive in the most effective safe way. I'm afraid of being T-boned at an intersection if I continue to try this device. Even at a 4-way stop, traffic going in the opposite (left/right) is going through the intersection before I even clear it...within inches of my bumper. I really feel this device is defective. I absolutely DESPISE this. HATE driving right now. Will probably opt out. I don't think the discount will be worth the aggravation. Would not recommend. I hope Liberty Mutual is monitoring sites like these and reads it. The Right Track program is terrible.

A Liberty Mutual Insurance holder ran a red light and t-boned us in my husband's new truck (2 months old). As of date, the only thing that has gone right is the insurance adjuster showing up when he said he would. It is because he does not work for Liberty Mutual. He gets paid for each vehicle he does. They said they might not pay for the rental car after 30 days.

Here we are 15 days, and repairs haven't even been started! The investigator said she was waiting for the insured to contact her back. It was the mother of the 15-year old who hit us. They were avoiding the calls. The investigator went on to tell my husband that if she could not get in contact with the insured she would go off of the police report. My husband emailed the police report and faxed it to her that same day. Her reply was that she was still going to give it a couple of days! Basically Liberty Mutual spent a ton of money on advertising and lowering their rates. This caused an influx of customers, and claims and they are really far behind. Do NOT forget to file for a diminished value claim after an accident. They owe you this, especially as much as they drag their feet!

I would have expected more from a "reputable" insurance company but later found out Liberty Mutual has a reputation for doing whatever they can to pay out as little as possible on a 3rd party claim. My husband was recently hit by someone who ran a red light. The driver who hit him was insured my Liberty Mutual so we went through the process and had an estimate done. Liberty Mutual then called us to tell us they determined their driver was 90% at fault because he ran a red light but my husband was 10% at fault because he should have had time to see him coming and avoid the accident. I guess he was supposed to anticipate another driver running a red light and also not look in front of him where he was driving but to the left. Ha!

So they would only pay 90% of the claim. So I instead filed with my insurance company, Nationwide, who is paying the claim and suing Liberty Mutual to get the money back. I told them I would be more than glad to go to court because that is ridiculous. The police report and multiple witnesses state that it was clear as day not our fault. Obviously the one who ran a red light but his insurance company disagrees. So be careful if you are ever in an accident with someone they insure. They are out to do whatever to not pay claims.

Like many others, I was attracted to Liberty Mutual's proposed 30% discount for auto insurance premiums thru the RightTrack program. The program is actually misleading and deceptive. I was told by the sales agent and again by RightTrack themselves, that only if my car is not driven, or driven very little, would the maximum discount be attained. So, RightTrack monitored my driving over the initial 30-day period when I drove only 384 miles! My record put me on track for a 14% discount. During the next TWO MONTHS the vehicle was NOT driven at all.

So over the TOTAL 90-day period the vehicle was driven ONLY 384 miles. To be honest, there were 6 "quick start" events (zero to ~10 mph) and 9 "hard brake" events (~10 mph-to-zero)!! Liberty Mutual then reported that my final discount is...14% based on the 90-day trial period. I think it is misleading (dishonest) for Liberty to advertise a MAX discount if the vehicle is not driven. Then for Liberty to not apply that MAX when 2-of-3 months the vehicle was not used.

I signed up with the RightTrack Program, and was lied to about the discount I could receive and ease of the program. The program requires that you install a device that ends up running down your battery if you don't drive your car daily for long trips. I ended up having to replace my brand new car battery. My mechanic blamed it on the device. I also had to replace my alternator because of how many jump starts I had to get. The RightTrack agents lied to me on the phone and said the device never has depleted a single battery in the history of the program. One month later, after the damage was permanently done and I was out $600 additional expenses due to this device, they acknowledged that their device has been know to cause your car battery to die.

They didn't offer to pay for any of my expenses and the discount was only $70 on this program. I had a great driver rating on the program, so other drivers were getting much less of a discount. Liberty Mutual should test their devices to make sure they don't cause people to become stranded on the road which is much worse than having an auto policy that is $70 more. I don't appreciate being lied to by these agents. If they had warned me about the problem, I would never have agreed to be in the RightTrack program. It was a waste of time and money. They told me that they wouldn't include language in future brochures to warn others because it only happens to a small percentage of people according to them.

When we went in to renew our insurance with Allstate, they were going to charge us $190 a month (after paying $119 for more than 6 years with them). We couldn't do it since we are on Social Security Retirement and VA Compensation.

So, we went to the Liberty Mutual website to get insurance from them (full-coverage on the car we had to buy after our wrecked car was totaled out & renter's insurance on the apartment we moved into after we were evicted). They told us on the phone that our insurance would be $113 a month; they would get the $190 from Allstate, take their $113, and put the rest back into our bank account. And we wouldn't have to make a payment until October 3. Imagine our surprise, when we get an overdraft notice from our bank. The first of September, we're going to a local man we've dealt with before and get our insurance from him.

I have seen estimates that have made my life more difficult. For example: I have a car in shop now that the original estimate has USED PARTS for any replaceable parts needed to complete this repair, parts that are very difficult to replace and that will more than likely fail quickly... A used Radiator and Liberty Mutual gets out of any liability by allowing us to "flush" this used Radiator. When I say makes my life more difficult... well no one wants their car to be repaired with a used part as important as a radiator.

So after talking to the customer and having the owner call the claims adj. who wrote this poor estimate then go through the process of creating a supplement... So no, a waste of time!!! Time I could be using to get this and other owners cars completed and back on the road, but I have to spend days. Yes DAYS dealing with attempting to work around ALL the USED parts estimated instead of doing my job of getting owners back in their cars! All insurance is doing almost the same thing but Liberty Mutual is the WORST. Even some of the "fly by night" insurance co. are not writing such poor quality of estimates. And of course this is being done not for to help their customers but to increase their profits! To quote their current ad campaign, "What are you supposed to do, drive around in three quarters of a car?" I found this outrageous!

Over the past 4 years we have filed claims on one of our vehicles. 2 claims was due to potholes damaging the wheel of the car, one was for a nick in the windshield caused by pebbles on the highway. All claims filed never involved another driver or a moving violation. LM has reported all of these small instances, including the usage of the rental car option we chose, as "Collision - At fault". They have raised our premium over 100%. Further, their reckless reporting prevents us from becoming insured with another carrier.

After much research I found out about LexisNexus.com (https://personalreports.lexisnexis.com/index.jsp). This is a company that collects and sells data to all the insurance companies, DMVs, government agencies, etc. which is why insurance companies have your information. You will be shocked to see what companies are reporting!! Consumers have the legal right to receive 1 free copy of their record per calendar year (similar to a credit report). The caveat is if a claims agent enters incorrect information, you are the one to pay for it. However, you have a legal right to have this information corrected (similar to the process with the credit bureaus). Hmmm, I wonder why this information is not communicated to the consumer.

I advise all consumers get a copy of their insurance records (auto, home, rental property, etc.) to see what insurance companies are documenting in an effort to overcharge you. I also advise researching the insurance laws of your state. You will quickly discover you have more rights, than has ever been communicated to us, towards reducing your rates. Those greedy **!

My husband's car was stolen (thieves stole the tires and wheels, damaged the back bumper, steering column and steering wheel, cut through the handle door and caused cracks on the windows) in October 2014, and as a result was heavily damaged and LM declared it a total loss. Note that this is the second time we had filed a claim for the same car. The first claim was in February 2013 and it was handled fairly well (we weren't totally satisfied with the tire replacement but wasn't significantly bad) - they replaced the stolen tires and wheels and fixed any damage as a result of transporting the car.

It took about close to 2 months for the repair and they kindly extended our rental passed 1 month per the policy limit. However, on this claim, the whole process was horrible. (1) The claims rep didn't return our calls and messages promptly. (2.) They initiated an "special unit" investigation which took months because the investigator didn't bother to get the police report and the investigator made false statements during the investigation. (3) The negotiation process for settlement took a long time because they were not willing to work with me until I filed a complaint against them with the state insurance administration. I could go on and on but it was just a terrible experience. Thankfully, we were able to settle and I'm now looking to leave LM. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

The driver of the truck that hit me was ticketed for failure to control speed. I took my new truck to the dealer since I want it fixed right. Again new truck estimate was for $4719.00. The adjuster at Liberty Mutual her name is ** originally said that if the estimate was not over $4000.00 then I could just get it fixed. They said they would send their adjuster and then they would tell me what they would pay for. Again new truck. The independent adjuster came out on Friday 5/29 said I would have the estimate in my email on Monday 6/1. I did not get so I called him. He said he was working on it and would send it as soon as it is complete.

Finally I called his office on Wednesday 6/3 and was told by the lady who answered the phone that their estimate was $3750.00. I email the lady at Liberty Mutual and this was her response: "Good afternoon **. The appraisal was just uploaded to us today. It is being reviewed by our audit team. Once the approval has gone through, I will let you know." Is this a company you would want to do business with? I would love to get comments on the inept way Liberty Mutual operates.

Liberty Mutual where do I start? First and foremost I was recently involved in a Auto Accident at in May of 2015. I was not at fault. In fact the lady who hit me ran a red light at a busy intersection. She presented the police with a insurance card and admitted to police she ran a red light and she was at fault, come to find out her coverage stopped in Feb 2015. OK let me remind you I have full comprehensive and collision full coverage. So me and the Supervisor make a few conference calls to see if she was insured at the time of the accident. Let me tell you this is 3 days after the accident happened with no help from Liberty Mutual. No rental car. No mechanic to fix my car. No calls to see if my car was in driving condition. Basically the lady had no insurance. We had to file my claim under uninsured motorist which they adamantly tell me they have to wait for police report to come back and my claim is pending to see if they can put it under uninsured motorists..

Ok this is day 11 after accident happened I still have no repairs to my car, no help with my hospital bills plus no rental car which they claim I never set up on my policy. But I have roadside but not rental. Why would I accept roadside and not accept rental car coverage the two go hand in hand!!! Liberty will try to play you like you are in a criminal court proceedings! If you read my post trust me and stay far away from Liberty Mutual. I was paying 169.00 a month for one car a 2005 model let me add and they swear I never set up rental car coverage but I set everything else up. What a bunch of Malarkey! I emailed my representative and he stated that he doubts he did anything because he doesn't make mistakes. I felt that was a rude comment to make to your customer but I insisted he dig a little deeper. He did and he told me he input something incorrectly and offered no apology or nothing.

I decided then to leave Liberty Mutual but then had yet another bad experience when I received my Electronic funds transfer. The monthly payment amount was $143.09 which comes out to much higher than the quote so I called customer service who advised me that I was charged a fee of $254 just to add the car to the policy. Initially I lived in South Florida and now live in Charlotte NC. I have had tickets (speeding). I have been in automobile accidents (not my fault). Liberty Mutual never dropped me. They were always available to assist and get the matter taken care of. Yes my premiums have increased but I don't think there is a company out there where premiums go down instead of up.

I have also had a homeowner's claim with Liberty Mutual. The water line on my refrigerator was defective and water leaked between the floor and subfloor. Liberty Mutual let me choose the restoration company and worked with me on the claim. I didn't get as much as I would have liked but I was able to get an entire new floor in my kitchen. I have no complaints about this company. I have friends that get dropped from their insurance after they make a claim. I'm glad Liberty Mutual hasn't dropped me because of claims.

I was with Liberty Mutual for close to 15 years. It was a "benefit" provided by my employer. Supposedly a better rate than LM gives to the general public.

About 2 years ago I was in an accident where a woman pulled out of a parking lot right in front of me. There was a car right next to me that slowed down to turn into the same parking lot and his vehicle blocked her vision. It was a sad situation, but without question she was at fault. She kept insisting it was MY fault because I "came out of nowhere"!!! In the end she was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic. But since she was so insistent that I was at fault I decided to report the incident to LM and have them work with her insurance instead of me having to fight it. I thought I could trust LM to work in my defense and get the claim settled quickly.

As it turned out, instead of helping me, LM dumped me! It wasn't even a claim that they would have had to pay, but they said that wasn't a final conclusion yet. They told me that my coverage with them had been cancelled because I was 2 months delinquent. I couldn't believe it... I knew that wasn't right. So I checked my records and found that the prior month was the renewal month and my premiums had gone up slightly (just over $1/month) but I was using online bill pay and so when I made that payment I paid the old amount thus was short the dollar-something. And the current month I was 3 days late making my payment, so ~whalaa~ 2 months delinquent! At least in their eyes.

I told them that I would get the check in the mail that day for the correct amount including the prior month's deficit. They told me not to bother, that since I had been cancelled for "non-payment" and because I had just been in an accident, I was not eligible to be insured with them anymore. I was floored! I demanded to speak with someone higher up and was told that since it was 3 o'clock on a Friday they had all left for the weekend. The guy I was talking to said he would get with them first thing Monday and call me back to see if they would agree to keep me insured. It was Tuesday or Wednesday before I got a call back and he said he had good news, they would go ahead and keep me as a customer, but that I was no longer allowed to pay monthly, or even quarterly... I would have to pay for the whole year upfront. Well I didn't have that kind of money so I went shopping for other coverage.

I was told by the other insurance companies that since I had been uninsured for over 24 hours that I would have to purchase high risk insurance for at least 1 year, probably 2 years. Those rates were double what I was paying LM. I finally went to the company that my parents were insured thru. They had a great agent that always did her best to keep their rates down. Turned out that act saved my ass. In her attempt to keep my parents rates down, she added my husband as the primary driver of their motor home. In doing so - technically he never had a break in insurance... and as for me, I got to ride along with him on our new policy with no penalty. I was so happy. It was a tough lesson to learn, but one I won't soon forget.

As for LM, they called me 3 or 4 more times wanting to sign me up. I told them what they could do with their policy (if you know what I mean). And for 18 months I kept getting mailings from them offering me quotes, etc. I tried sending their junk mail back to them in several ways. I would write refused on the outside of the envelope and put it back out for the postal carrier to take it back. I also opened up the mailer and wrote on the inside portion asking for them to remove me from their mailing list and mailed it back in their postage paid envelope.

I even tore up the inside letter into tiny bits and put it back in their post paid envelope and sent it back. Finally I called them and told them I wanted to be taken off their mailing list. I told her what had happened and she assured me that she would remove me, but that it could take as long as 90 days for it to take effect. I marked it on my calendar and so far I haven't gotten anything more from them. One more thing: I never miss a chance to tell anyone I come across about how "great" LM insurance is. NOT!!!

We were insured with Liberty Mutual several years ago when my son was hit from behind by a young lady that was on her cell phone and admitted she was inattentive to her driving. My son was taken to the hospital and I reported the incident to Liberty Mutual. The next day, I did a follow-up with Liberty Mutual and was asked not to use any profanity. I was surprised by this action as I work as nurse and explained that I did not use any profanity in my prior conversation with the Liberty Mutual call center. I come to the conclusion that they document their data to make the caller appear as someone you cannot deal with. So when the customer reports them to the State Insurance commissioner, then they can say they tried to work with you.

You are better off doing everything by email, this shows and tracks what you say and will be doing. My policy states, "The customer can rent a car for 30 days." The insurance adjuster phoned me after the 3 day and told my I only have 1 day remaining. He told me "it was his discretion to allow 30 days." Again I got shafted, first they lied then reduced my rental time. They paid very little on the car repair. News for all, REPORT THEM TO THE STATE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER when they lie or don't follow through on the contract as noted when you purchase their insurance. The 2nd thing you need to do is keep accurate records when dealing with them and know your policy.

We dropped their insurance and purchased another. You may look at Auto Owners for much better customer service and less hassle. In my eyes, they were more interested in taking your money but NOT standing up when you we needed help. There are better companies out there that will help you. I am sorry but I would not recommend Liberty Mutual Insurance to my worst enemy. The insurance adjuster was not the nice guy that they portray on TV. It was one of my worst experience in my life. I was already traumatized by son's accident and then I had to deal with this guy and they call that customer service. You are better off paying a little extra and not dealing with Liberty Mutual, in my eyes.

Before moving to Arizona, I insured my cars with a mutual insurance company (based in NJ, not available outside NJ) that most years would declare a dividend and send us a check. If that company raised the premium, even by a small amount, they would send a letter of explanation. A 14% increase without an explanation is intolerable. Having said that, I am very happy with the quality of my agent's service. Even with the 14% increase, my premiums are lower than they were with State Farm. However if they keep rising at that rate, I'll take my business elsewhere.

After close to 30 years with State Farm Insurance I migrated my car coverage to Liberty Mutual due to a move to another city in the same State of North Carolina. I was impressed by the rates I received for coverage but shocked when my renewal notice indicated better than a 17% increase in the cost of the same coverage, even though there were no accidents or claims against the Insurance company.

The agent was not helpful at all or even apologize for the situation. I believe that this is another example of a bait and switch action; they offer you a cheap initial rate and then the situation changes after you have been with them for a year.

On February 27, 2015 at 10:20 p.m., my husband and I struck and killed a loose horse running toward us in our lane. A split second swerve to the left avoided hitting the animal at front dead center of our Buick Century, and it hit right at the right headlight area, damaging the hood, windshield, roof, passenger window, side mirror, and filled the interior with shattered glass, blood and guts. We were cut by glass shards, my husband hurt his arm, my neck is re-injured (2 prior neck surgeries), and also our clothing was ruined. Striking the animal off-center thankfully spared us from worse injuries or loss of life, yet it was very traumatic for us being horse owners ourselves.

I called Liberty Mutual the next morning to report the wreck, giving the names of the horse owner and property owner where the horse was boarded. While speaking to the Liberty Mutual representative, I was informed our med pay coverage was $1000 and we did not have "Better Car Replacement". WHAT??? Apparently, when our policy was set to renew in December 2013 and the premium was going to be over $4000/yr because our son began driving, I called Liberty Mutual to complain about the 100% premium increase. Their solution to lower our premium was to reduce our medical payments from $25,000 to $1,000, to remove the "Better Car Replacement" coverage, by writing a new policy to get a discount to be considered a "NEW" Liberty Mutual customer, and made the policy an "e-policy" where we no longer got policy documents in the mail.

This reduction of coverage was never discussed with us, nor was it approved by us. Also, the policy documents were now ". Because of the $1000 med pay limits, we only went to a walk-in clinic. I need to be seen about my neck, but cannot afford to pay out-of-pocket for treatment. Our Buick was towed to a Liberty Mutual "partner" body shop more than 30 miles and 45 minutes away on Monday, March 2, 2015. The shop evaluated the car, deemed it a total loss and uploaded their preliminary estimate to Liberty at 3 p.m. We have emailed and called the "total loss" adjuster, who has not responded to-date.

Yesterday I was contacted by ** of Liberty Mutual who was calling to check on us. She informed me that we are considered AT FAULT for hitting the horse, which was running loose at night down a dark road! She urged me to contact **, the total loss adjuster. I told her I emailed her and called her, but she does not respond. I hung up with ** and called to speak to a "total loss" supervisor, but none were available. The young lady who answered advised me that we were AT FAULT because Liberty did not have information about the horse owner or property owner (I gave them all that Saturday while reporting the claim). ** took this information and informed me that we were no longer at fault and Liberty would be contacting the horse owner and property owner.

Because of the reduction of policy limits from the "new" policy in December 2013, we drove 40 miles to the Liberty Mutual office to get some answers about the unauthorized policy changes. We met with the assistant manager, who was empathetic to our situation and agreed our "new" policy should have been carefully reviewed when it was written to ensure the coverage was the same. He stated he would turn our situation in as a "323", which is Liberty's internal jargon for agent/policy writing error regarding a claim.

This has been stressful and frustrating in trying to deal with Liberty Mutual on this claim because of the lack of communication and discovery that our coverage had been changed without our consent or knowledge. The wreck itself was traumatic and horrifying for us, but Liberty Mutual does not seem to care or have our best interests in mind. AVOID LIBERTY MUTUAL INSURANCE!

Limited Property Damage Liability Insurance ("Mini-Tort") is an optional coverage applied in Michigan state as an exception to No-Fault. On asking to provide the documentary evidence regarding this optional coverage which is NOT same as Property Damage coverage benefits, salesperson ** (Sales Representative, DRC) first told me that this is not applied in Michigan state, but later on when I insist to include in my policy, told me that it is already included under Property Damage benefits. To best of knowledge, this is completely wrong information and I decided not to pursue further with Liberty Mutual, mainly their sales representative is not well-educated or at least not well-aware of state specific insurance laws and provisions. It doesn't help consumers making right decision if company sales rep are providing misleading information to prospective new customers.

Limited Property Damage Liability Insurance ("Mini-Tort"): Insurance companies also offer "mini-tort" coverage. Under Michigan law, if you are 50% or more at fault in an accident, you can be sued for up to $1,000 in damages to another person's vehicle that is not covered by collision insurance. Many consumers purchase this additional liability coverage to protect themselves from this specific liability. I was rear ended the Monday before Christmas by a concrete pumper truck whose company was insured under one of Liberty Mutual's companies. The driver who hit me was very apologetic and I really wasn't upset with him because the road conditions weren't great and we all had to stop kind of quick. Called Liberty Mutual the next day and the claim call went fairly quick, and I thought it was going to be an easy process from there on out!! Being the day before Christmas Eve, my body shop told me to go ahead and get a rental car and they would handle it being covered with Liberty. All was good.

Fast forward to the week following New Year's and I finally heard from the adjuster that my car was totaled. At that point we were going on two and a half weeks since I had heard anything. There was another vehicle in the same body shop that was in an accident after mine - they had a check and had bought a new vehicle by the time I even heard from them saying that my vehicle had been totaled! It then took me calling the adjuster back inquiring about my claim in order to get everything settled!

Then the real kicker of it all - they kicked me out of my rental car before I even had a check to buy a new vehicle!!! Luckily, my husband and I had enough money set aside in savings to put a down payment on a car without needing their check, but what about the poor folks whose funds are a little tight and they can't go buy a new car without their insurance check?? I think this was extremely inconsiderate of the insurance company to not expedite the check to make sure you had it before you lost your rental car.

I also still have not heard from the insurance company regarding my refund for injury. I went to the doctor after the accident to make sure that everything was okay. Liberty told me to fax over the doctor's bill (which I had to pay for out of pocket) and they would reimburse me. I am going on two months now and no check. I will definitely never switch to Liberty Mutual for my auto insurance and will also recommend family and friends from using them too. Very disappointed with their lack of consideration and timeliness.

I decided to check on Liberty Mutual and am now a Policy Holder, I have had to use them three times (Road Side Issues) and both cars now have new batteries. I drive about 3000 - 4000 miles a year. This evening I was reading about insurances and did a comparison which doesn't hurt anyone to do. Liberty Mutual WAS a good company years back when it was for PREFERRED drivers. I see my rates going up every year and now with all the commercials and "forgiveness" I see why. This is no longer a place for people who get LOW rates based on a LONG driving record with no tickets or accidents, and also things like low mileage "pleasure" classifications. Now we are paying commissions for agents which Liberty didn't have, and costs for crappy drivers which were not part of our "pool" in the past. I did not have a car for almost a year and when I went to get back with them they would not insure me as I DID drive without insurance. Uhhh, NO I DID NOT and I could prove it. They told me I had to be insured under another company for a year and then if all was OK I might be acceptable. Is TX making up laws like this??? I believe the penalty for driving with an unregistered, uninsured vehicle in TX would far outweigh the cost of insurance coverage. I would have been an idiot to have driven without insurance.

Besides the cost of coverage, and I only have liability and towing, the worst service they offer is towing. I live in a rural community which is surrounded by many, smaller rural communities and there is ONE tow truck for most of the county. You have to wait sometimes for hours, but at least an hour for them to get to the CENTRAL town that all the smaller ones revolve around. One tow truck for thousands of people 50 miles apart?? When I mentioned my concerns in writing to them and I was going to look for a company who catered to GOOD DRIVERS they did not even respond to that part, but told me I was wrong about their website showing there was a credit for changing your address online. It still says that even they don't know it. I asked them why they gave people credits for defensive driving - meaning they messed up, got a ticket and HAD to do this - and not a bigger one to those of us who already are defensive drivers and don't mess up and get tickets. ....and I had driver training years ago when they made good drivers.

But you only get the credit if you are a kid who has no experience driving but spent a couple hours in a car going 30 and making a couple turns without hitting any pedestrians. I think they should be paying ME for driving 45 years without screwing up or letting anyone else run into me while paying yearly for those who did. I can only guess how much more they will start charging me just because I am getting older.

On 12/23/14 I was involved in an accident that the driver of the other vehicle was found at fault of by the police officer and accident report. After countless hours spent on the phone with the claims department at LM and my own insurance co, I'm now day 10 without a car or any answers. My insurance advised to file the claim with LM so I can avoid paying my $1000 deductible up front. I've been getting the run around with LM ranging from they haven't received a statement from their insured driver to they have the right to conduct an investigation. Fine, I agree, but I'm not so sure I believe they haven't received a statement from the driver. The adjuster went to assess the damage 2 days ago, the auto body shop (which has been fabulous!) called me to say they reached an agreement with the Adjuster and parts are ordered and should have my car by next week.

Walking out the door to work today the auto body shop calls to say LM sent a notice they are deeming my car totaled, WHAT??!! So I call LM, they STILL have not claimed liability, refuse to disclose the value of the damages or the fair market value of my car AND the cherry on top is they will only pay the storage fee at the auto body shop for another 4 days. Um, ok so that leaves me with 2 weeks left until the 30 days they have and I will accrue the storage fees??? This is ridiculous and I am so disappointed with the situation. Thank god I have GAP insurance as I have a loan on my car so if LM decides to give me less than 1/2 of what I still owe, my lender will bridge the gap so at least I'm not stuck with the loan on a "totaled" car! Ugh so upsetting and I wish someone would take legal action towards them. I can't understand how a company can be allowed to behave like this. Bottom line, get GAP insurance if you finance a vehicle, it's the only saving grace in this whole nightmare.

Liberty Mutual made it clear from the first week they did not want to pay for their insured's accident that caused damage to our vehicle. Accident occurred 11/12 - they never answered our calls and all calls to the investigator went to voice mail. I finally reached another agent who said they were waiting to determine liability. I informed them that their insured, a witness, and the Sheriff's officer all said she was fully at fault. They repeatedly encouraged us to use our insurance. By the 21st we were already out of pocket $550 for a rental (which we had to return because we couldn't afford it any longer) & our wrecked car was still in our driveway. Called daily - told they couldn't determine liability because they hadn't talked to her! LIE! She called and filed with them only moments before we did because when we called the agent said we had to wait a few minutes because someone was talking to her on another line and adding the information into the system at that moment so he couldn’t add anything until they were finished.

I faxed them the final police report on 19th - still nothing. By the 26th - still nothing. I finally got someone on the phone that night who said they determined they were 90% at fault, us 10%!! When queried why, they said “lack of evasive action!” The accident was in 2 lanes of traffic, I was in right, had a car on the left and people on the sidewalk to my right! Slamming on the brakes was all I could do to not harm others. When I told her this, she said I was speeding - a total lie!! We received a partial check the first week of December -- nearly a month after the accident in a cut and dry case with a witness! We feel, as does our insurance company, that Liberty Mutual was stalling in an attempt to force us to file on our own policy. When that didn't happen, they came back with the 90%.

This is completely unethical & we believe should be illegal if it is not already. A Google search reveals this "evasive" action tactic is common practice for them. I believe it is fraud & an attempt to force people to accept less when they're desperate to get their vehicle fixed through no fault of their own. We are out a significant amount of money, we had no vehicle for 3 1/2 half weeks. WE had to PROVE our case to them, they did no leg work - we called, we provided documents. They were hostile, accusatory, unprofessional. They won't even return calls to our repair shop!

They heeded my warning about being particular and did a total loss on the car. They have always been good to me and the employees stay in touch throughout the claim. Check came quick. NO, I don't work for LM, I work for Rutgers.

I was rear-ended while I was stopped, waiting for a light on SEPT 4, 2014. My car was 4 days old. I called Liberty Mutual right away. I hurt my neck, fractured my ankle, injured my thumb, lost a tooth and bruised my knees. As it turned out I had damage to my spine and a bad concussion. I still have headaches and I'm not supposed to drive. Well, the appraiser came out, assessed the damage and I received a check to repair it. Then I had to use my vacation and sick time. Once that was used up, they sent me one check. I called them just to ask if I'd be receiving a check weekly and they said Yes. That was at the end of September. When there was no check the following week, I called them. They said that they had to do paperwork in order to approve my claim... like get notes from doctors. I waited weeks and then called my doctors to see why they hadn't sent back the notes even after I signed all the releases. EVERY ONE of the doctors said they had not received any requests from LM. So, despite my injuries, I went to every doctor and collected the notes and faxed them all to LM.

I was told by the admin at the doctors office that insurance companies almost always do not request the notes because they'd have to pay a few hundred dollars for each one, they wait it out until the patient gets fed up and gets them for free! Then I got a lawyer because I'm suing the person who hit me. After that I could no longer speak directly to LM. Since then the law clerk has been calling them nearly every day. They always have a reason why they haven't approved the claim yet. On 4 occasions they've told me that its just in the final stage and They'll have a decision that week... but then another week goes by. At first they said that they still didn't have the police report so I got it for them. This made absolutely no sense to me because how else did they have the name and info on the person who hit me? When I inquired in the beginning about their fax number so I could send it over, they said "Never mind, we have it." So now its been nearly 3 months and I haven't been able to pay my bills. I still haven't been cleared by my doctor to return to work because I'm having a surgical procedure on my neck in late December.

Every time I see a doctor, I get the notes and fax them over. I have not received any other payments from them since the initial one in Sept. I've been told probably 20 times that they're waiting for this or that or its on someone else's desk. I nearly had my car repossessed because I haven't been able to make a payment. My mom gave me her rent money so I could make at least one car payment but now we are late on the rent! She's been giving me $20 here and there for food but soon she'll be all out too.I haven't even be en cleared to drive. How can they have any question about whether or not I should be approved when they have already deemed that the accident wasn't my fault.

I SIMPLY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THESE DELAYING TACTICS ARE LEGAL. I literally have NO MONEY. What recourse do I have? I would really like to know what the people who run this company are thinking when they KNOW that the people who have paid their premiums have no income for long periods of time because of their lies and runaround tactics. They say it's because they have so many claims to process. If that's the case, haven't we all paid enough in premiums to warrant good customer service? Hire more people!!! There is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS. As soon as this ordeal is over, the first thing I'm doing is dumping this unconscionable company!!! No one deserves to be treated like this... especially when all I was doing was going to work and someone else caused all this crap! Is there some big wig I can call and blast at LM?? Just ridiculous!

I asked if I could speak to the individual in charge of the investigation and to no surprise no one is yet assigned. I've dealt with Geico and state farm in the past and even though I wasn't their customer they recognized my sense of urgency and took care of me. That says a lot about the company. Canceled the policy on 14 October, LM did withdraw a payment on 15 October. Explanation received from LM, payment is for the previous month, not for the next month. This is weird as when we started the insurance we had to pay a full month in advance. Anyway, not very happy with LM, in the process of switching my home insurance to another company.

Since being with LM for so long I called and asked about a better premium and was told 'NO", all they could do is bundle my home owner’s insurance with them to lower my premium a few dollars. They didn't care that I was with them for 46 Years. They just said "Good Luck."

Loyalty doesn't mean a thing to them only the "Almighty dollar." To day I received mail from LM for being a loyal customer and offered me some new products at additional cost. LM sent them and I was okay until I was contacted by the first claim adjuster who said another adjuster will make contact with me. The first adjuster told me that I was responsible for covering the cost of the plumbing problem which led to severe water damage to my recently renovated home. A family member sent someone to help to stop the plumbing/water damage issue. Now I just received a call from the second adjuster who really upset my soul. He said now none of this may be covered under my policy. I already have an extremely high deductible.

Inside of my home is terrible with sticky floors. I have medical issue that can't handle the foul odor in the home. I have been off work since this occurred. I don't know what to think. I have been paying my insurance for one house and several vehicles faithfully for a long time now to learn all of my payments may not mean anything. I thought we pay for insurance to be secure and comfortable in situation like this. I told him "I am prepared to seek legal action if necessary."

The second adjuster is telling me that the plumbing issue could have been covered under the policy. This is why I don't need multiple people calling me about the same problem. I am sick of repeating myself. I asked who will pay servpro. He said the insurance company since they made the call. Now you can pay the clean up crew but may not repair my home. I ain't taking that!!!!! I am usually the person who find the positive in any given situation until now. I have so many mixed emotions about them. The second adjuster is coming Friday to assess the damages. Now I got to get out and find the guy who stop the water damage problem. I have been reading the reviews and I was very upset to know this is real. I will let everyone know the disposition.

I am relocating from AZ to OK for a job and traded in an AZ vehicle in Ok. I still have a home and 2 vehicles in AZ with Liberty until my spouse can transfer. The newer car is going to cost over 200 more in Ok and they raised the cost in AZ because of the one car in Ok is on a separate contract. We have had no claims or tickets but they have raised it every year. I requested help from Customer Service and still have not received a response. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

I was in a one-car accident. My car overturned on a mountain road and slid down a hillside. I was life flighted to a major hospital and then to a Trauma Center in another state for several surgeries and ultimately a rehabilitation hospital for a total of 5 weeks. I'm recovering at home with Physical Therapy and expect to walk again within 4 months.

Here's the catch, after having Liberty Mutual Auto Ins for 5 years, they tell me I declined Medical Payments (which of course is what I need to cover my thousands of dollars of bills) when I took out the Policy. I never knew what Medical Payments Insurance was. I have a $1,000,000 Policy-- why in the world would anyone take out $1M in coverage and not the Med Pay????? Just the life flight bills are close to $100,000. I've had to hire an Attorney to represent me against my own insurance company. How wonderful, when you need help your insurance company wants to deny everything.

I was injured on the job August 31, 2013. Liberty Mutual was the insurance carrier. In beginning everything went okay, so I thought. Then on the fourth month, they change all the doctors saying they wanted a second opinion. After going through all of the procedures the second time, things started not adding up so I went to my own doctor for his opinion who then sent me to his specialist afterwards. I went back, confronted Liberty Mutual doctors and was told conflicting conditions. Liberty Mutual cut off my benefits saying I wasn't allowed to get my own opinion that your doctors were the only ones I could deal with.

Their doctors beat around the bush and lured me into false beliefs multiple time. When I complained to my caseworker Colleen ** about the lies that their doctor and she had told me all she could do is tell me to call my lawyer. I can only say that anyone that has Liberty Mutual insurance should understand that their insurance isn't worth the paper it's written on. I did everything their doctors and lawyers told me to. It is sad to think that they took me from making 65,000 to zero in less than eight months.

The boundary wall of my property was destroyed in a storm of February this year 2014 by falling trees. As of today the claim has still not been fully resolved. Liberty insurance basically did not want to pay out for the claim. They delayed, they came up with a figure way less than the costs of repair work, they did not want to fully cover the claim, and now they want to retain 30% of the claim until job finished. Very frustrating to deal with them. I would not recommend anybody deal with them. I most certainly will not do so again. It has an extremely negative and stressful experience in dealing with liberty insurance. I felt compelled to warn other people who might be thinking of taking insurance out with liberty to be very careful and think twice, because if anything goes wrong, they are not good to deal with.

My son was hit by an ice bomb (when an owner doesn't clean off their car of snow and it turns to ice and flies off) off another car, and it shattered the windshield of his car and the lady took off but my son and his friend chased her down and called 911 as did other cars on the highway. She denied that it was her and my son is 22 and she was older and called my son a liar to the state police trooper. It just so happened that the other person in my son's car was a cop friend of hers and she was screwed, got a ticket and reprimand and the trooper made her clear off her car right there. What a scumbag she was.

The car had to be towed home and he had to pay $400 bucks for the tow. Lib Mutual refuses to go after the lady or reimburse him for the tow and the senior claims rep refused to let me know why and I have called and emailed and nothing, they outright refuse to even tell me what is going on. I have been a customer since they bought out Prudential, so let's say 20 years. They have to advertise so much because they suck and can't keep customers, I even filled out a survey and no one has even contacted me. Steer clear of this company, they are run by accountants not insurance people, they don't give a damn about their customers. Shopping for another one now, but wanted to give them every opportunity to make this right but they just don't care.

In early November of 2013, my car broke down on the interstate and I had to have it towed to a shop. Red's towing towed the car and damaged my door when towing the vehicle. Finally after 6 weeks of dealing with Liberty Mutual's bureaucracy, they finally put in a comprehensive claim, but would not admit any wrongdoing of this towing company that they hired. More than 6 months later, Liberty Mutual is telling me they will not pay my $500 deductible on the claim, which was about $1800 of damages, and suggested I take the towing company to court. What kind of junk is this that they will not take responsibility for the damages caused by a company that they hired as part of my towing service. I am with a different company now, and would never recommend Liberty Mutual to anyone.

After watching my auto insurance go up and up with Liberty Mutual, I decided to get competitive pricing. With no tickets or accidents on my record, it was hard to justify their high prices. They were over double what a firm like State Farm charges. They also informed me that they have a cancellation policy and that I now owe them $250, even though they could not produce a document that I agreed to with this cancellation policy on it. They couldn't even read to me over the phone what they said I agreed to. It is just shameful. I will be glad to be rid of them.

Work comp insurance, not auto related - I have been left to pay out of pocket for a crushing accident that happened back in 2008. Liberty Mutual had tried every trick known to man to keep me on my back after their nurse gave her word they would provide me the care to get me back to work. They go to court and get continuances to stall. I owned shares of stock in the company and worked up to the day of my first surgical disc replacement. I was forced to sit on the sidelines and watch the company I was a part of for 25 years of my life go belly up. I let all of our employees down when they needed me the most so they will be held accountable and as many people that are able to read will know what they do. They will lie, cheat, and continue to repeat until you push them back into the wall they built to contain you. Liberty Mutual is known to be the worst insurance company to deal with in many fronts of their business, ask the agents and your lawyer friends! and physicians. Beware, be diligent, be warned. Get a lawyer immediately. I did a year after because I was ignorant to trust them.

I have them for over 10 years at one time for both auto & home, then went with another for a year, but went back about 3 years ago. I never had any auto claim for all these times. I have 2 vehicles signed up and added another driver in Dec. 2013. In Feb 2014, I have another 2 vehicles (one brand new & one just liability) signed up and my son as another driver. He required an SR22, which was communicated at that time, adding $1200 to my premium. They failed to inform the state of the SR22, and got a license suspension notice for expired insurance. I went to the local office to fix the problem, but lo and behold, I got an email 2 weeks later that my premium went up another $1300. They claimed it is because of the SR22 which they failed to inform the state of OH. Their excuse, they need the case no. to inform the state. Which is not true. All other insurance companies never asked for the case no. I switched to Progressive and saved $1400 a year. WATCH OUT for your premiums. They will not inform you but will just sent you a bill, with the higher rates.

We were hit by a Liberty Mutual (LM) insured. The police came out, claim was filed, estimate on damage was done and sent to LM. It has been almost 2 months and the adjuster has not contacted me or returned any of the numerous messages I have left him. I finally called the main claim line and after sitting on hold for over an hour, was told, by a very rude "customer service rep", that my calls had not been returned because they had not heard back from their insured (person that hit us) or gotten the police report yet. Further that if she doesn't contact them back, they do not have to accept liability and will deny the claim. That is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. Insurance companies have deadlines to meet and a responsibility to be ethical and fair when handling claims. LM has acted unethical and unprofessional in the way that they handle this claim. I will be fighting this one until they pay for the damage their insured did to my car, as they should.

Now an "investigative" agent with Liberty Mutual says that we are not insured when I called to ask the status of our claim. After being very rude, he said we were not insured, but he can set up a statement appointment. All premiums have always been paid on time. We have been "insured" with them for 7 years.

They keep switching the reps "assigned" to me without my knowing while all my emails get ignored. No one answers their phones and neglect to return my phone calls nor voice mails. Needless to say I did not file a single claim or had any violations. When I called about this they said they increased their prices by 8%. So my car gets older but my insurance keeps on going up every year. Makes zero sense. This company is a rip off!

I had roof damage due to straight line winds storm with heavy rains. I immediately called my insurance company, Liberty Mutual which was purchased through the Arkansas highway department. Liberty Mutual passed me off to three different agents, one of which finally showed up about eight days later after the rains came back and continued most of the remainder of that month. They grossly underestimated the cost of materials and never considered the water damage to the decking itself. I cancelled that insurance and I'm sure they were glad for they had received over $10,000 from payments from me and the check they wrote me was less than $300.
