While I did have to input a bunch of details on Lemonade and that took a while, the process was incredibly quick once I hit the submit button. Make sure you have receipts for all of your expensive items because that will be very helpful. Overall I'm very happy with the process and experience.

Excellent customer services online or with the application, very quick response, I did have a fire the water destroyed lot of items in my room. I sent a claim for items, in less than 3 hours, I got approval to be reimbursed, I will get the money back in 1-5 business days. So helpful when a drama happened in your life. Thank Lemonade.

For the first time in my life did it feel like an insurance company actually cared about me and actually cared about the facts. Rich was my contact and adjuster at Lemonade and he was awesome. Even when he was ill and out of the office he responded to my requests and did everything to make my life easier and help me recover my losses. Lemonade is changing the way insurance is done. And for the first time in my life I don’t completely dread receiving a call from my insurance company.

In June my bike was stolen out of my bike room. I filed a police report and submitted a claim to Lemonade to reimburse me for the theft. The team at Lemonade was quick and effective, not only at getting me my money back, but also helping me understand what supporting documents I needed to justify my claim. All in all great experience, and way easier than I was expecting.

We had to file three claims within one month of moving into our new apartment. Lemonade made the process easy and were always available to answer any questions. Highly recommend. Only improvement would be the app's UX isn’t as intuitive as we would have liked hence 4 stars. You can’t submit multiple claims through the app.

Filing a claim with Lemonade and getting it approved was one of the easiest things I've ever done. The app is so simple and the process was clear and quick. When I'd told my coworkers that my insurance claim had already gone through for my stolen items, they were very impressed and wanted to know who I got my insurance through. My bike was stolen and the LAPD was super unresponsive, making this claim sit in the queue for a while. My rep, Jose, was incredibly communicative and worked with me to find solutions and eventually a work around to LAPD issue. Ultimately Jose was able to get my claim pushed through and get funds into my account.

This company has been more than helpful. Right when the shut down was announced my room have collapsed. I made the claim that morning and 3 hours later I received a call letting me know that my claim was being processed and hotel accommodations were being made. They took the stress out at a difficult time and took care of my family until the claim was complete. I would definitely recommend this company.

Was exceptional, went over & above to make sure the claim was rightfully solved. At first I was informed my claim might hit a dead end due to some bogus CA legislation regarding electric bikes & throttles. It turns out through my research along with Claudia's that the bike was indeed a bike, therefore it was valid to claim. I am very thankful Claudia didn't give up on me!

My bike was stolen and I initiated a claim on the Lemonade mobile app. I was hoping that I could enter the information on my desktop, but the app was nice because I could take pictures of my documents (like receipts). The claim was approved quickly and I saw the funds in my bank account the next day. Though I initiated my claim through a mobile app which collected information automatically, my contact with their agents over email was smooth, too. They were quick to schedule calls and reply to emails. Overall, I am very pleased with how smooth this went.

I received a response quickly from my claim. The only part with submitting my claim was I had to wait to upload pictures when I received an email because there wasn’t an option to upload pictures just to take it at the same time I was entering my claim. The experience with the Shad was pleasant.

I have Lemonade Insurance for when the worst happens. Unfortunately, recently something quite bad happened (don't give your keys to ANYONE unless they live with you btw. It's questionable even in that case honestly). Lemonade responded swiftly and I was able to replace the most important of my damaged possessions, since the less expensive items weren't worth quite as much as my deductible. Overall, given how stressed out I was, I would say it was a very pleasant experience. I understand they have to gather all of the evidence to make sure it is a legit claim. However, other than that a very streamlined process and my claim was approved in 5 seconds!

I really like how simple the setup process was, and it seemed really easy to add other coverage too. Great clarity about what is and isn't covered, conveyed in an easy-to-understand way. Lemonade's $10 a month price seems convenient as well (though to be honest I have not looked at/experienced any other renter's insurance offers so I have no idea how this price or service compares), and it just felt like adding another subscription like Spotify or something.

I was just started to think lowering my coverage. Things happen in life and I can't be more glad I kept my coverage. Claudia was super kind, respectful and, all the claim process only took 2-3days. I was expecting some hassles but there were none. Helpful, kind, reliable, worth every penny I put in for last couple of years and for next mores to come.

Was very fast on helping me on the claim. :) She was able to tell me a timeline and also approved it very quickly. Lemonade has been very helpful in all the time I've had them and rather not switch! She was a very great help!

Submitting the initial claim was easy on the Lemonade app, however it would have been nice to have the option to add videos later after submitting the claim. With the current setup, you can't submit a claim without filming the damage, which is inconvenient if you're not on-location. Once I got the videos recorded and documented my Lemonade liaison, Bobbe, got in touch later that day to discuss details in the claim process. Everything we discussed on the phone was also provided in a follow-up email, which was very helpful. Bobbe got in touch with my building manager so I didn't have to act as a go-between. After that, it was just a matter of photographing damage to my claim items. Bobbe shared a spreadsheet to fill out, and I just sent that back to him and waited for the claim to be accepted. Bobbe stayed in touch throughout the waiting period to keep me in the loop, and was professional throughout.

This company should be shutdown. We fully cooperated and followed all their steps successfully when filing our claim. They turned around and approved not even 50% of of claim with their entire reasoning being that they supposedly asked for additional documentation, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. We provided photos and receipts for everything submitted. Scam artists!!!! I’m submitting a review to the Better Business Bureau as well.

My experience was flawless from the start of my claim up until the closing of my claim. She gave me a list of everything needed, and waited patiently as it took me almost two weeks due to having a family emergency in a different state. I swear by this company Lemonade their rates are affordable and they don’t break the bank and their customer service is amazing and they’re very communicative. Also their pet insurance I swear by I refer everyone to them. My claim was handled in a nice timely manner.

I suffered a bike accident back in May and broke my collarbone. The bike had a supplementary coverage and it got damaged. I filed a claim but because I had complications after my surgery I was unable to quickly send all the information I was asked, like the bike shop costs. Lemonade’s team were incredibly patient with me. When I was finally recovered and able to send everything back to them, I was surprised by how easy it was to see money coming to my account. I could not recommend Lemonade more. It’s insurance of the future.

I chose Lemonade for my renters insurance mostly because they were a really cheap and accessible option (since everything is done on an app). I honestly figure I'd never use it. But, when my bike was stolen from my apartment complex's parking garage, their customer service and ease of filing a claim really blew me away. The claim filing process was pretty straightforward-I just had to fill out a quick online form, send them some info about what was stolen, some documentation that I filed a police report (which in my case was literally just a screenshot of the report), and any photos I had of my bike.

My car was recently stolen, along with a lot of other items including my son's car seat. My other car was a company one, and after I got laid off I had to return it. I transferred the contents of the company car to my personal car, and then it got stolen. I texted Lemonade on their app, provided everything I needed to on my end to prove ownership of the items, and the record of my loss. It was all done so fast and the texting capability was so much faster and easier to deal with than having to be on the phone while my child acts up in the background. This was one of the few positive experiences in the last month, and I'm truly thankful for it.

This was by far one of the worst experience of my life. I lost everything I valued and owned in 2 weeks. My items wasn’t replaced. I been suffering from headaches and anxiety ever since. I’m emotionally depressed behind. I was told it was ok to throw my things out so I have nothing to clean. I think I should’ve been told not to throw the things out because you guys was only cleaning them. The inspector helped me threw some of the things out. I think that was perfect time to tell me that my things won't be replaced. They're only being cleaned so now I have nothing and waiting on my lawyer to get his things in order so he can reach out. I will never ever use the service again. I was robbed out of all my valuable things. Small business down the drain but thanks for checking back. It get worse by the days.

Lemonade’s entire process is seamless, and their customer service time was wonderful. I had my boyfriend added to my insurance plan (rather than paying for two separate plans) and when his bike was stolen, I was able to easily file a report on the Lemonade app. We heard back quickly from the customer service team and were reimbursed for the full amount of the bike! Lemonade was very busy with Covid, but even with slight delays they were very quick to keep me updated and I felt like they worked with me instead of against me! Adam, my insurance representative and the entire team at Lemonade have been beyond helpful in allowing my wife, my baby son, and I to get through this flood in the best way possible. The flood was brutal. It lasted from 11PM to 7AM the next morning and NO ONE from my building at **, ran by Carlyle Property Management lifted a finger to help. No one helped while the apartment was flooding for Carlyle, no one has helped since the water has abated, and it is now over two weeks later.

I wasn't impressed with how I was treated in regards to my claims. I didn't get the feedback the follow-up that is necessary to understand the process of how to deal with this claim. I felt as though I was begging for reimbursements that I paid into for this insurance and up to now it's been ghostly situation.

Honestly at 1st I was skeptical, it's strange how things have kind of flipped in a sense. I mean there are a lot of companies that do anything and everything they can to not pay out on a claim or make you feel like you are guilty until proven innocent. Meaning you are considered a fraudster till you can prove beyond some agent's ego that you have a legitimate claim, and that's just wrong.
