I got my bike stolen and Lemonade were super helpful and efficient in handling my claim. They got in touch with me and guided me through the process until I got my reimbursement. Great and friendly service and user friendly platform.

Great customer service from Laurin. She explained everything very thoroughly and I am confident that I made the right decision. I was not sure if I should file a claim for my stolen property, but after our discussion it made sense.

In 18 years of being together, my husband and I have never made a claim on insurance. We did not know what the experience would be like. When our property was stolen we were quite upset. It was an item that was given to us by a friend who passed away two years ago and could be replaced physically but not emotionally. Needless to say, we were quite upset.

Someone recommended Lemonade to me when I moved into an apartment after separating from my wife. I didn’t think much of it. It was cheap and easy. Fast forward eight months, and two electronic devices were stolen. I used the app and their virtual assistant (not sure exactly what they call it) to report the claim. It took about five minutes. At the end, I expected a message to come up saying something to the effect of “a representative will reach out shortly.” I was pleasantly surprised to see that my claim was approved and the very next day, I woke up to money in my bank account, minus the deductible of course. So easy! I’d recommend this service to anyone!

When my state was hit with unusual weather for my region, I had some property that was destroyed. I filed a claim and the process was so simple. I really felt heard and taken care of as well. I was updated regularly on my claim status and the whole thing took about a week. This was not an insurance company fighting against me. They were on my side the whole time!

Lemonade swiftly processed my claim and was very patient with me as I was traveling a lot at the time. They gave me the opportunity to provide any supporting documents that I have and ended sending a claim technician who came to do an inventory of my loss. Once the technician did his inventory, the process was sped up. My advice is the wait for the tech inventory prior disposing of your stuff. Lemonade is a great company, my only regret was that I should have subscribed for a higher policy.

Lemonade was able to help me with my claim by sorting through pictures of my property when I wasn’t able to locate revisits from a purchase made 10+ years ago. I didn’t think there was much hope in compensation for my lost process, but lemonade came through in a quick manner while maintaining visibility throughout the process. Thank you!

Though she was busy during that times her team members stand up whenever I inquire updates. During a pandemic, a winter storm that caused bursting pipes and the coldest temperatures in decades, I was displaced from my home for quite some time. Lemonade made EVERYTHING very smooth and were sympathetic to my situation. EVEN WITH THOUSANDS of other claims... literally a catastrophe... and it's all virtual... They were like the Chick-fil-A of insurance! I'm NEVER leaving them!

I made a claim from the app on my phone (super easy) and they had me in a hotel the same day. When we realized that the repair would exceed the amount that I was covered for, my claims agent suggested that they deposit the full amount of my coverage so that I can make decisions without having to send receipts and wait for refunds. I recently had to make a claim due to theft, and I was sure the process would be more painful than the item be being stolen (as is the case with most insurance claims) but Lemonade was different. Very fast process and super easy to do.

My mind was BLOWN at how quickly my claim was processed and money was put in my account. I was expecting weeks like every other insurance company. I checked my balance today and was like um WHAT!?!? And did a little happy dance. While the money doesn’t replace what was stolen I have peace of mind that this company takes me seriously and follows through on what they say.

The Aftermath of the winter storm that hit Texas is when Lemonade Renters Insurance became my Super Heroes. Filing my initial claim was SUPER easy, adding to the claim (as more damage was found) was just as easy, them putting me up in a nearby hotel was the best. Our apartment flooded on February 2021 during the Texas winter storms. A few days later lemonade sent $250 to every customer who was affected by the storm. I’m sure they had millions of claims from the storm which caused a little delay. We were able to handle our claim through the app and email. Once they were finally able to get back to us everything went smoothly. They responded to every question and they explained everything to us. They also sent all payments through direct deposit. I am very satisfied with the whole process. I have always recommended Lemonade to anyone who asks and will continue doing so.

Good insurance is insurance. You don't really have to think about and that when it matters, things are easy... Lemonade is just that, it was so easy to purchase, easy to switch from my previous insurance, literally never thought about it. Until I had to submit a claim, it was all processed pretty fast - the agent helping me went above and beyond to let me know everything I was eligible to claim (even things I hadn't considered) and always kept me up to date with the status of my claim. Highly recommend Lemonade insurance! I love it so much I have renters and pet insurance - would probably even get car insurance through Lemonade if they had it.

That same day I filled my claim I was put up in a hotel and received $500 for necessities. No Other Insurance Company In The World Could Start Paying a Claim On Same Day. Then a few weeks later I received my property claim which was paid to the full value. I spent the next 5 months staying in hotels and Lemonade always paid up to the full amount of policy. MOST IMPORTANTLY IS THE AGENT here name is ASHLEY and she was Amazing. She made the whole ordeals much easier for me and was always available to answer questions. If all the corporations could learn from Lemonade life would be a lot less stressful.

I've never been the type of person who buys insurance unless it's absolutely necessary because most of the time, it just feels like overcomplicated policies that never actually get used or never actually cover the things you need them to. When my new apartment required me to get renter's insurance, I'm glad I found Lemonade. When a snowstorm devastated my area and left me without water and heat for weeks, I was even happier about having Lemonade on my side.

Austin experienced severe winter weather that caused millions to lose power and water. My family was one of them. We ended up taking a chance of driving out of the state and got lucky we made it after being trapped without power or water for days. Pipes burst in our building, which caused us to be out of the state for a week. When asked for insurance help/reimbursement for costs/damages, we were originally denied due to not having an updated email from the apartment management confirming which buildings were affected. After submitting that information, our claim was approved a little over a week later.

She was extremely helpful, kind, and genuinely wanted the best for me in my situation. I lost almost everything to busted pipes and felt beyond covered using Lemonade. To say that I will be referring everyone is an understatement! I am very happy and Glad that I have a Lemonade as my rental insurance. When I got my Laptop stolen on 01/22/21 earlier morning from the stranger that I invited to my place for more drinks! Until the thief started acting so weird to me, so I have to ask the thief to leave and escort it out of my building and when I returned to my room and I notice that my laptop is missing. I was a victim of theft and vandalism recently. And during Covid times it can be a very daunting task trying to replace items. I’m very glad Lemonade was able to approve my claim so easy. It was simple sending receipts through email and I didn’t have any difficulties.

So fortunate to have had Lemonade renters insurance during Winter Storm Uri. Using the Lemonade app I was able to quickly file my claim online and an agent reached out to me right after I made the claim, and provided me with funds for temporary accomodations, before processing the entire claim! Unfortunately it took a while to process the claim, however Aja and Chris were in contact fairly regularly to let me know I had not been forgotten. Having heard horror stories from other friends struggling with renters insurance, Lemonade was/is fantastic!

Lemonade was very patient with me as I needed to to be reestablished in my home and see what damage I experienced. The were very quick in their responses as well as compensating me for the damages that I experienced during the horrible winter storm in Texas.

Had a trash can outside in my patio that caught on fire due to some hot ashes and melted and burnt a big hole in my patio. Called my leasing office and told them about the incident and they filed a claim with Lemonade. Instantly a representative from Lemonade called me to get more details and I explained everything exactly how it happened. They approved the claim with just the attached pictures. It took a little while for it to get fixed tho but the delay is from my apartments not Lemonade. Definitely won't look outside for any other renters insurance. Nothing can beat the price that I've been paying.

After my apartment flooded due to a storm, I reached out to Lemonade to file my claim pretty much immediately. The process of filing was detailed (I had to film multiple videos on the scene), but not complicated, and I heard back from them very quickly with further requests for information. Although it did ultimately take more than a month for me to receive my funds (understandable, given how many people were affected by the catastrophic damage caused by the storm), I was very satisfied with the service I got, as well as with the amount I got from my policy. I renewed and upgraded my policy after this and will definitely continue recommending Lemonade to friends!

This is my first claim ever. My apartment damage to my PC and my limit the representative was very helpful. The process was super easy and quick. I would recommend the app and I see why people told me to get it. I personally think my representative was super understanding and they let you record until your side of the story and they help you out to the best that they can and they were pretty quick to respond with the emails. I was living in a duplex and my neighbor caught his duplex on fire causing me and my 2 children to have leave our home. If it wasn’t for me have rental insurance with Lemonade I don’t know where we would be because we have been in a hotel since the incident on New Year’s Day.

Lemonade took a while to respond to my claim initially, but was succinct in resolving my claim once all receipts had been submitted. After such a tough month after the freeze, lemonade was a huge stress relief. After this experience with Lemonade, I likely won’t use any other service for rental insurance. Despite having to wait quite a while to resolve the claim, it was a huge relief and there didn’t seem to be any issue with the type and amount of corroborating info required for the claim such as receipts or comparable prices of other items, ETC.

I have a storage unit with Public Storage. It is a climate controlled, indoor unit located on top floor. Building is only a few years old. I was more than surprised to find my unit covered in water from a roof and/or burst pipe. You cannot tell the origin, as there is a chicken wire overhead preventing you from seeing the actual origin but the leak soaked everything in the unit causing $10,000 of damage. We have Lemonade insurance which covers damage to my personal property. My adjuster, Jyn ** is clueless. She will not answer questions and dances/evades giving concrete answers to questions. She REFUSES to give me an actual reason why the claim is being denied. My property was damaged through no fault of my own with a water leak. What's NOT TO COVER???

I've never made a claim with Lemonade so I can't speak to that. In terms of setting up and maintaining - Lemonade is super easy to sign up for and tweak over time. My previous rental insurance was so annoying to cancel I paid for it for almost a full year after moving out of the place. With Lemonade, I was able to end insurance at one address and turn on again at a new address in minutes.

Hi. I pay less than $17 a month. I love their app and quick responses. The app is very user friendly. When I compared rates through my vehicle insurance company they were going to charge me like $40 monthly. I have yet to file a claim thankfully so I can’t speak to that. However, so far so good and I’m happy.

Well using Lemonade for renters insurance and no claims yet but a low price and meets requirements for apt communities liability. It is an app. That thing is very easy to use and no monthly fee to make a payment like some renters insurance.

The customer service is horrible bunch of people trying to be in the insurance company don't know squat about nothing. They cancelled my policy for no reason, and it's paid up for a year. Stay away. Go to a real insurance company. They hire only ** agents.

We had a tenant who had Lemonade Insurance and they DID NOT COVER water damage caused by tenant's error. They state that they only cover personal property damage, but not liability for damages caused to the house. Do not get Lemonade if you want actual decent coverage. The tenant will have to personally cover for the cost of the damage. I do not recommend this very crappy coverage policy that they fool you into thinking that you have good coverage.
