    The quality of GEICO insurance in comparison to our previous coverage with Allstate is far superior and a lot cheaper as well. No comparison. We were even able to completely rid ourselves of an expensive auto club membership and include a better quality of auto assistance for a third of the cost than what we were paying over a year.

    I was once paying over $120 a month for my car insurance through the company my parents have been with since I was born! I started thinking that maybe I really was paying too much for car insurance, so I got a quote from GEICO. I saved over $60 a month! That is amazing! I have told all my friends and family and even strangers about my savings. Any time I have questions, a friendly representative is always there to help me. I really appreciate the fact that they care!

    We have been with Geico for about 10 years and love it. I have searched other companies but the quotes are never close to what we pay Geico. I always get great customer service anytime I have to call them. I love our insurance company and don't see me changing it anytime soon.

    While we have never filed a claim with GEICO, we have discussed minor dents and bumps and they were very helpful in getting us to a place where they could be fixed for less than our deductible. They have also provided free road service twice, and their rates remain low.

    My experience with Geico has been great! They have great customer service is wonderful. I have never had a claim but I have had friends insured with Geico who have had to file a claim and they state they pay out wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone. You also receive discounts which make your premium easier to pay.

    They have a great customer service that you can contact at any time and theyll help regardless of your location. They also have a great mobile app. The app is really convenient and really helps to speed up processes.     Had State Farm for 5 plus years. We had a few accidents (most not our faults) and they increased our premiums. Changed to Geico to save on premiums. After 12-18 months of coverage, GEICO DROPPED my premiums without changing coverages, a first I have ever experienced.

    Claim was processed quickly. Rates are reasonable. I have been with Geico for twenty five years. Any time I have contacted them it has been a great experience. I also have my homeowners insurance thru Geico. The rates here are also good and competitive with other home owner companies.

    My son's car was hit by a Geico insurance customer. It took 40 days to get the car back. Geico told him where to take the car and arranged a rental car. They picked the car and the company. I am now out $800 + dollars on the rental bill. My son had no fault but is out the money. I now have to file in small claims court for the money back plus my time I spend taking care of this matter. I charge a rate of my profession as a rig welder of $65 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. They will find out that's acceptable by Texas Law. We will see how that works for them.

    I love GEICO. I have been in two car accidents and they were extremely nice and friendly. Worked very fast to get my car fixed with as little hassle as possible.     This insurance have many options. It is a very reasonable price. It has a mobile application where you can access and change all your options. With the mobile application you can also pull up you insurance card so you never have to have a paper card. They have wonderful customer service and support.

    Happy with GEICO. When I had to file a claim, they were pretty quick. Their rates go up every renewal period of 6 months. Even when I had no claim. They are cheaper than State Farm and All State.

    I don't like how they give you just a few days to pay your bill. I haven't had any other issues yet. I just pay my bill, I had to file a claim. Before that was a hassle, like they called me a liar. However insurance is needed and they had the best rate.

    I have used Geico for my auto insurance for five years now. I have never made a claim with them, but I have always found them to the be cheapest car insurance provider for me. Anytime I have called, the representative has been very helpful and asking lots to questions to see if I qualify for any discounts. They also make it really easy to make payments on the frequency that works for you and your budget (every 6 months, every month, etc). I have never made a claim, so I have no knowledge or comment on the smoothness or difficulty with that process, or if Geico is an insurance company that would raise your rates after you make a claim.

    What a joke! GEICO's insured ran a red traffic light, admitted it along with witnesses and T-Bones my daughter's BMW and was cited by officer for failure to stop (In Bellingham, WA). After interviewing my daughter, they decided to tell her that she was 15% at fault and should have stopped and looked both ways before crossing green light. I guess the 15% discount they give their customers have to come from some place. Worst company I ever dealt with. I decided to run the repairs thru our insurance company and file the law suit. I had heard that GEICO's claim department was a joke now. I know it. See you guys in court after my daughter's injuries heal.

    Geico has been helpful and unobtrusive. They do not try to "upsell" other products. Most things are handled online and do not require lengthy phone calls. Our previous company randomly called trying to talk us into trying additional products and making adjustments to our current policy.

    The coverage is good at a fairly low rate. Claims service is excellent with constant updates and fast reimbursement. The online website is very simple to use and extensive. It is simple to print insurance documents such as insurance cards. Payment is simple online with a credit card and can be scheduled at will. Online and phone service are both available and very helpful. Overall, Geico insurance gives you a feeling of complete coverage.

    Geico is a good insurance company and does a good job on claims but has 6 month policies and tends to raise rates every 6 months. They advertise save money for a fifteen minute call but this is only for new customers as existing customers are not treated with anything resembling compassion.

    Geico auto insurance is reasonable in price. Great customer service and efficient claim services. Easy to print insurance cards and view documentation through online access. I haven't personally used Geico for a claim but my spouse has. Able to get him in a rental car quickly when a comprehensive claim had been filed. I haven't had any tickets or accidents, so that has been reflected on my policy. It is very affordable.

    Geico is the worst insurance company in the world!!! I swore I will written this review when I had them cancelled and now I am so glad to do it and warn other people of how bad they are and indifferent to the customer. Someone broke the sideview mirror on my car and made a dent while my car was parked at the local train station. I reported this to Geico and they said "don't worry, we will take care of it." They kept giving me estimates and offers for a lot less than what the reasonable cost was of the demar is.

    When I company several times they said they will take care of it and send another appraiser. They never did!! They kept giving me all kinds of excuses and went in circles till I finally gave up and just quit talking to them. It is unbelievable -- the game they played until you just get so sick of it!! I even told them, "Let's just fix the car at one of your own centers to make things easier and simpler." No they couldn't handle that either. Unbelievable! In the end they send me a check for 20% of what it cost me to fix my car. Very rude. I have dealt couple of times with other well known companies before this and the experience was very smooth and professional!! Stay away from Geico - trust me, you will regret it! They are horrible, horrible!

    I have been with GEICO for over 20 years. To me they are the most reasonable insurance with their premiums with good coverage. I have used their roadside service many times with my first car with them and they were always right there helping me out. Over the past 20 years, I have check other premiums with other insurance companies, but I cannot get the coverage that I have with GEICO with the premiums that I have with GEICO. As you can tell, I am 100% for GEICO.

    I could always reach a person in customer service. I never had any problems that was not resolved. The rates are a little high, I would highly recommend this company. My car was hit while sitting at a light. The driver in the other car tried to sue me. Geico took over. The other driver had to pay for everything.

    I have insured multiple vehicles with Geico over a 15+yr span. Been a excellent customer for them. Pay on time, haven't filed many claims. In fact, my husband and I's record is currently clean. So one would assume Geico would give us competitive rates for homeowners ins. Not so... tried to charge me 4 what it should have cost and tried to pressure me to accept it. I found a reasonable rate and notified them I'd be taking ALL my business to the other company and they didn't care. Sometimes being loyal doesn't "pay".

    Good experience, customer service is good. Helped with my different accidents efficiently. Hope to just grow in the area of customer service. Just also need to understand how to respond to issues with fraud with false claims a little better. Other than that I would recommend GEICO to my peers and they have a quick response. I was also able to get a good deal on a rental car for my car being serviced for a claim I put in for an accident which was awesome.

    Oct 4th got rear-ended while I was waiting on the stop light. Opened the claim (claim number **). Waited for about a week for a response. Called to check the status of the claim. Megan ** - GEICO representative who handled the claim, informed that coverage is denied and claim is closed on the basis that they cannot get hold of the other policy holder (which incidentally also had GEICO insurance). Pictures from the scene (picture of policy, driver license, driver holding policy, damage on my car, other persons car, license plate of the cars) were disregarded as not enough evidence. I requested manager to call me, first request was ignored.

    After second request (and after I called her at least 5 times), manager Mallory ** decided to return the call. She kindly offered to use my policy to cover the damage, which I kindly denied. Then she explained that damages will not going to be covered for the reasons already described above. Argument seems ridiculous, like it's my problem that their client refuses to respond. Even if that's the case, which is highly doubtful, it's GEICO responsibility to have means to reach their client. Later I found that GEICO uses this method not the first time, one of my friends had identical situation.

    For those who think that GEICO is still worth the trouble please think again. Even if you initially save 15%, if you will get into accident they will use any means to deny the coverage. The actual cost of GEICO coverage should be calculated as: time wasted arguing + amount you'll spend fixing your car + monthly premium, which arguably more expensive than the most expensive insurance you can find out there. Would not recommend GEICO to anyone.

    Was totally satisfied with them until my last accident. Was rear-ended by another driver who claimed to be insured. Received a letter from other driver's insurance stating he was not insured through them any longer. Wanted to know what my insurer was going to do about this since it is the law to have auto insurance. Never heard back from my insurance company. Very disappointing.

    With auto insurance you get what you pay for pretty much. Geico is a cheaper insurance, but thus far has served us well. We have never had to submit a claim so I can't speak to how easily that process would go. We are content for now. Happy with the low rates.

    My wife encountered a car accident on 5/27/15 and had to visit the ER due to minor injuries and complaint of pain. After getting first aid she was allowed to go home, and I followed up the both medical and car repair claims with my GEICO adjuster and her supervisor. Usually they were not picking up the calls but would return the calls only if I lodged complaints through their 24 hours customer service agents. GEICO didn't pay the FULL medical bills to the hospital and now hospital is pushing me hard to pay the balance. GEICO supervisor promised that they are looking into matter and will pay the remaining balance but it's been more than 5 months they have not yet. It's the responsibility of GEICO to pay the balance amount(s) per my policy and they are hesitant to do that. I would not recommend GEICO to anyone.

    My experience with GEICO was awful because they did not send me a notification that my payment was not made thru before I moved to other town. They were not willing to work it out with me and will not give me the refund or let me to be reissued. They forced me to pay higher than before.

    When I tried to remove my adult daughter from my policy I was told I had to prove she no longer lived with me, so I had her fax her rental contract to Geico showing she lived in another city, then I was told that she had to show proof of her own insurance, but I kept explaining she doesn't own a car so why would she have insurance? They insisted the only way to take her off the plan was to sign an exclusion that she would not be covered at all if she ever drove either my husband's or my car. It was so frustrating, I decided to look at other companies and immediately got a quote for better coverage with a $200 savings from what I was paying at Geico. I will NEVER use Geico again.

    I have had GEICO for about 30 years. Recently, someone tried to make a false claim on my policy stating I rear ended them. Despite having damage to my rear bumper when I bought the car, GEICO was able to determine my damage on my car was years old, not recent, and the damage didn't line up with their damage. They were able to determine the claim was false, and my rates were not affected. My rates have continuously dropped over the years, as well.

    I was rear-ended in Hunt County, TX by someone who was insured by Geico insurance and they refuse to be right.. Their client was cited for failure to control speed, admitted he left the scene and failed to call the police, and has told two different stories as to why he left the scene. My vehicle was totaled and they are only offering $1300. They say because no witnesses then they are treating it as a 50/50 fault accident because he claimed I brake checked him! This company is a joke and should be investigated immediately!

    I switched to GEICO company when Allstate significantly raised their premium charge. I am satisfied with the service I receive. I also pay a few dollars for protection against repairs over $250. I will keep this insurance at least until my car is 7 years old when I will no longer be able to get this extended warranty type of coverage. I have no claims history so cannot comment on that.

    My ex wife lives in California and I live in Alabama, my ex wife was using my home address in Alabama to get auto insurance for California because Alabama auto insurance rates are considerably lower. I called Geico explaining to them that my ex wife is committing fraud using my home address in AL to get auto insurance through them for California and they said that they would investigate and get to the bottom of it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and after numerous phone calls to Geico and almost close to a year now, they still have not resolved the problem, my ex wife still lives in California and is still insured through Geico using my Alabama home address.

    It's been almost a year now since I reported this situation!!! They don't care about allowing fraud to continue just as long as they are still making money, this company has poor customer service and no integrity. Also, I just recently added another vehicle onto my policy and they decided to charge me the entire 6 months in one lump sum which was close to $600.00 without my authorization, which I cannot afford to do due to other bills I have to attend to on a monthly basis.

    I'm in the military and believe it or not we do not make enough to just drop $600.00 in a month. They said that they cannot reverse this because it has been processed, they were very nonchalant about it, **!!! I have been doing month to month payments and auto pay with them for almost a year now since I opened an account through them, and all of a sudden they think I'm going to make a lump sum payment like that? They are crooks and I highly do not recommend them at all. Just want to also say that I'm not a big fan about writing reviews so for me to write one takes a lot. This experience has been a very frustrating one to say the least.

    GEICO has been great for me because it has given me a steady, fairly low cost insurance coverage that I feel is a fair value for the money. Their website is fairly easy to use, and their customer service is pretty good as well. There may be cheaper companies out there with less customer service or companies out there with better customer service for higher rates, but I find GEICO to be a fair balance between the two.

    My (unoccupied) parked car was hit by a GEICO policyholder in June. Within one month, they determined that the car was a total loss, sent me a check (postage due) for what they determined was its value, canceled my title and registration and posted on their website that a settlement had been reached. Trouble is, they did all of this without talking to me, the owner! They have yet to provide me any justification for their interpretation value of the car. I hired an independent appraiser that determined my car was worth more than twice GEICO's estimate. I sent my appraiser's report to GEICO two months ago, and still no action. Since GEICO has cancelled my title and registration, my car is now basically worthless, even if I were to repair it at my expense. I feel that GEICO owes me a replacement car's RETAIL value, plus appraiser's fees, taxes, licenses and legal fees.

    We have never had a problem with GEICO. If we have been unfortunate enough to have been in an accident, the agents we have dealt with have always been courteous. When my husband was in an accident (not his fault), we were planning on going on vacation the following week. Our agent worked with us and we were able to get the car fixed before our planned vacation. We were very grateful that everything worked out. Now that we are older, GEICO has even gone over our policy and found us some discounts, thus, saving us money. Most appreciative of this.

    The price is pretty cheap. Claims are pretty easy to put in and are usually paid out very quickly. There are a good amount of different plans to pick from in terms of coverage. The plans range in price and coverage with a few extra perks like discounts on rental cars if you get in an accident and are getting the car repaired. Overall, the payment service is very easy. There is an auto pay feature on the site and the price per month usually goes down after each cycle. Price does vary even between a few miles which can be either nice or frustrating depending on where you are coming from or going to.

    On the morning of August 27th 2014 while working my night shift as an EMT I was sent on a call for a crash on the highway. The crash involved a car that was struck from behind by a tractor trailer truck as the traffic was at a stop causing the car to be wedged underneath the back of another tractor trailer that was stopped. Inside that car where 2 occupants. Unfortunately the driver was killed, the passenger was trapped inside. It took the fire dept. 45 minutes to get her out. Come to find out, without us knowing she was pregnant, luckily both mom and baby survived.

    Later that day after I went home and went to sleep. After I woke up, my phone rang and it was my daughter calling from work to say that she received a phone call from a woman that told my daughter that my wife was involved in an accident on the highway with a tractor trailer truck and that fire dept. had to cut my wife out of the car. Also note my wife also had my 9 year old grandson with her. Both turned out to be o.k. I am writing this because not only was that a stressful day but then GEICO raised our rates. Please note that my wife and I have had GEICO for over 20 years and never made a claim other than for a broken windshield. We contacted GEICO and were told that as a result of the crash they had to payout approx. 10 thousand dollars total. I think that if you add up how much we paid to GEICO over the years it's well over 10 thousand dollars. I thought this is why you have insurance. I think this was a pretty poor way to treat a longtime customer.

    Firstly, they're overpriced, that's simple to prove, shop around. Secondly, I had an event where I parked in a dirt lot in a national park and when I returned to the car, the tires had sank just enough for a rock to hang the front bumper when I backed up and it broke a clip holding the bumper costing $75 to fix. I called Geico and the belligerent woman I spoke to said I was trying to hide an accident and made a report subsequently adding 2 points and costing me $40/mo extra even though Geico never paid out! Thirdly, my wife's car was hit on the side in a parking lot with video surveillance and the other driver's insurance declared no fault but Geico didn't care to pursue the video evidence so... again our fault and our rates will go up. Waits to speak to reps are usually over 5 minutes and they transfer you around a lot saying each different question is another type of rep's responsibility... but you never get straight answers.

    Filed a claim with this insurance and they were very helpful. Got a rent a car until the repairs to my car were done. They covered all the damages I received in my accident. My monthly coverage didn't go up because of the accident. Which was great. I had one insurance company drop me because of an accident I was in so this gave me peace of mind knowing I didn't have to shop for new insurance.

    I cancelled my policy with Geico and approximately one month later, noticed they had debited my bank account without my authorization. I had replaced the policy with Progressive insurance to coincide with the cancellation of the Geico policy. When I informed Geico that I had not renewed or initiated a new policy, I was told they would not cancel the policy until I either provided current insurance documents or proof the vehicles previously insured with Geico had been sold. I just sent Geico proof of insurance from Progressive and now waiting on a reply. I shouldn't have to go through this process since I cancelled the original policy with Geico and didn't request a new policy. How can Geico create policies without authorization?

    I have been with GEICO for several years. They gave me a government rate since I worked for a school district. The price is excellent and they give me different ways to pay. I can pay monthly or quarterly or every six months. They have an app in case you don't have your current insurance card. Their website is very easy to use.     I have used other agencies before but after I got married, we tried a few companies. We ultimately ended up with Geico because it offered the best deal with the lowest price. My experience has been limited thus far because I haven't had any major auto issues since switching. However, with my limited experience this far I would just describe my feelings as adequately satisfied.

    Getting my daughter off my policy when she got her own vehicle was very difficult. I thought I had done everything required but then, the automatic draft would still have the charge for her coverage. Everyone I spoke with gave me a different answer. Also, their apartment renters insurance is through a third (or 4th or 5th) party broker and they require all sorts of weird information. So it turns out, the service is great when they're selling you a policy but after that, not so much.

    After filing a claim for an accident, Geico gave me the run around. First, they wanted to make a decision without having all of the necessary information. Secondly, they frequently told me they need to talk to my dad even though I am 26 and was handling it on my own. Also, even after I told them that the other party claimed full responsibility for the accident, the manager stated that it must have been a mistake and I should be responsible. Really? Not helpful at all.

    I have no complaints. I switched to GEICO from State Farm about a year ago. I try to shop around every once in a while and GEICO was the cheapest for the coverage I needed. Signing up was easy and the agent who helped me was very kind. My State Farm agent was rude and self-important so this was a nice change of pace. I do wish the insurance was a little cheaper. It still seems a bit high for me but at least I know I'm working with a reputable company.

    I have no complaints about GEICO. They offered me the lowest premium for all the coverage that was required of me. I signed up for their services online and someone contacted me shortly after to go thru the details of the coverage I signed up for as far as deductibles, etc. The gentleman was very well informed and patient as I asked questions. I am currently enrolled in autopay and it is always taken out on the due date which is a plus for me. I dislike when autopay is taken out early or later than the date they state and GEICO is good on taking it out on the actual due date. I also have the option to pay early which is a plus for me also. I would recommend GEICO based on their prices and customer service.

    I had a car transmission fail, had to switch to public transportation, and cancel my insurance. Months later, and ONLY after I switched companies when I got a new car did Geico send me to collections for what they claim is $75 I owe them? I just got word, and they immediately sent it to a collection agency, thus dinging my credit. I HATE this company, work for a fortune 500 company in the auto business, and will spread the word far and wide....WATCH out, because Geico does not like it when you cancel or switch. I would AVOID this company at all costs...very dirty, and tricky. On principle FOR LIFE I will never use this company again and will warn everyone I know to stay far away from them.

    I've only had one accident, and it wasn't my fault. A drunk driver hit my parked car in the middle of the night. Geico told me that my new car was $1,000 under the "totaled" qualification and, instead of new parts, they replaced my car parts with second market pieces. I lost thousands of dollars. I'm not sure why I even stayed with Geico, but, other than that, I haven't had any issues. Their website is easy to use, and I make all changes and payments online.

    The roadside assistance helped within an hour. The rep was friendly and called back to check on me. The tow truck driver was not all that experienced and cracked my front bumper trying to get the car on and off the ramp of the bed of the truck. But this was minor compared to getting my vehicle off the road and to the repair shop.

    My wife's car was struck by a dump truck, hard hit, threw the car over a curb, etc. Bad hit. The car was taken to a GEICO REPAIR CENTER. Huge mistake. Everyone there works FOR GEICO. The GEICO's adjuster is the one dictating and writing the estimate. They were very rude to my wife and really had a "bully" attitude to her. After 30 days in the shop, the car was returned with a door that doesn't close and wind draft. Another 30 days in the same shop, car comes back WORSE.

    We took our car directly to a MERCEDES dealer and they estimate $8,000 to fix it properly. Now GEICO is blaming it on a prior accident (before we bought it) which was ALSO COVERED by GEICO INSURANCE! We don't have a car to drive, spent thousands in RENTAL without reimbursement and have to hear that it's OUR fault! How can GEICO precisely differentiate one accident from the other and still, how can they blame on me for not taking care of it in the first place?

    I got when I bought my car. The dealership employee offered it to me. So far it's cheap insurance. As well as the update they tell me on my monthly pay or if my credit score has change. I am very pleased I say. But I think what made me really to staying to Geico is the lady who helps me to understand my contracts. She also informs me of any updates or deals that I can get or if I can get cheaper payments.

    If there was anything I have to say bad about them would be customer service. When I call them whenever she is not available they seem very pushy. I think being pushy is very rude. When you call them as they take it seems that all they care about is the fact you are being record to say your are giving good service. Even when they don't solve anything. Or when I get a guy or girl with a thick accent or when they can't hear me when I am screaming into the phone. It's crazy I tell you. So ten points to people you call personal but negative ten points to call service. They suck.

    I just signed up with them recently after I found out that they could save me $800 on my auto insurance compared to the coverage I had with a company that I had been with for a few years. The savings were so huge that I had to ask their rep if I had entered something wrong and got an incorrect quote.     The Lizard is cool, but to the rest of this company, there are several words that come to mind. Geico has been a good company, but once I purchased a home, compared to other bundles from other companies, they were the highest, and as a long term customer one would think with this kind of LOYALTY, the bundle price would be low. But no, they felt as now they can stick it to me, and now I am in the process of finding a company that will not look at me as a cash cow for meek coverages of home and auto.     I am 19 and male. So I understand that my insurance rates are going to be higher. Geico advantage. I did not know how much CHEAPER I could get a policy with BETTER coverage until I left. I got a ‘94 Jeep GC and they charged me $168 for the longest time. Well the car broke down and it was going to be awhile before I could repair it. I called to see if they could pause my policy since I wasn't driving it. Geico said the best they could do is give a "storage" policy for $49/month and save my old policy when it is repaired. I asked if my rate would go up and they said no. I got it fixed and got it switched over, $186/month! I told them what they had told me. The service person told me my policy in general did not go up, but due to "uneven spacing" for payments I had to pay up in bigger chunks. I WAS STILL PAYING FOR INSURANCE SO THAT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN!

    So there was no reason to get the storage policy because I still had to pay more. I stayed with them till that policy ended and they got me a new policy. I eventually got it down to $155/month. Keep in mind all of these are for bare MINIMUM coverage going 1mi to work, 4 days a week and 5 days a week 1mi to school 8,000mi./year. Ended up getting swapping for ‘98 Audi. They quoted for $111. Well, they lied again. Instead of saving $44/month, I got stuck with a bill for $135/month. Obviously $111 and $135 are not that big of difference to Geico but $24 is enough for me and it adds up. Only good thing about Geico is the people, friendly and relatable.

    I have had to call Geico on a few different occasions and every time I have contacted them they answered my questions immediately. One of the things I like best about Geico is if you break down on the road they ask if you are in a safe location. Their customer service is fabulous.     I had my 2011 pristine truck stolen in Texas on September 03, 2015. Today is October 26 and I have still not been paid. I have talked to supervisors **, both promised to get involved. After several messages, resorting to calling them cowards, Mr. ** finally returned my 5th call saying he tried to reach out to me. We had never gotten a message. My adjuster, **, is inexperienced, and obviously has no background in claims. I have over $7,500 in documented options on my vehicle, and he states that they have no value, and is doing me a favor by offering me $850.00 and about 82% of the appraised value of my truck. I would like to add that my wife and I are seasoned, independent insurance adjusters, and do this for a living, so I have some idea as to how these claims should be taken care of.

    If I don't get a settlement this week, I will be filing suit for bad faith. GEICO has well-trained customer service people who do a good job when you are spending your hard earned monies, but the claims department is a joke. And, by the way, don't ask customer service to get involved with your claim, because they cannot help with that. In my opinion, if Mr. ** is really a supervisor, he is incapable of doing the job and needs to be replaced. So much for helping the veterans as they advertise.
